Best Western Hotel Hillerod

I often go to Best Western Hillerod for professional trips. This hotel have basic style, but it is very clean and close to office (20 minutes walk). It is also not far way from Hillerod center & Castle (15-20 minutes walk) Staff is extremelly nice, rooms are quiet

Good food for breakfast, clean rooms, kind personnel, the internet connection would be great if it was a little bit fast. It's a good thing that reception is 24/7 available (if there are any concerns)

This is an older hotel under the Best Western brand, and its dated quality extends to the attitudes of its staff. On a sunny day, the room gets very warm. Since the building is probably well insuated, it stays that way. There's no air conditioning, and when I went downstairs to ask for a fan, I was told they were all out. So I was stuck sleeping with the windows flung wide open, but no real change in temperature. There's also no vending machines, and their restaurant closes early. I asked the elderly woman at the reception desk if I could please have some ice water. She obliged, nicely enough. I went downstairs a couple hours later and made the same request to the gentleman who replaced her on a new shift. He asked if the previous woman had charged me. I said "no". He said he'll see what he could do. He came back with some ice water, but before handing it to me, made sure I understood that this was the last free one I would get, and he'd have to charge me from now on. I stayed in my room the rest of the night, and vowed never to stay at this hotel again when I'm in Denmark.

Customer service was great. Breakfast excellent. Good location next to bus and supermarket. Price highly expensive not worth the actual hotel facilities. Rooms very poor, small beds, small bathroom, poor quality of toilet paper, no air condition.

This will be better than a Best Western in the US. They go farther in Denmark to give you a decent breakfast. The service is impeccable. Price was reasonable. Convenient location. Hillerod has a good Vietnamese restaurant. To To Kitchen. The hotel has a good restaurant as well.

For a small town like Hillerod, I didn't expect a 5 star experience so this was adequate. I was in town for the Denmark-India davis cup tie in Feb 2023.The rooms are clean and functional enough though parts of the building looked worn and run down. The breakfast was somewhat basic but the basement restaurant is high quality. The location was about 12-14 mts walk from the nearest restaurant which wasn't optimal . Overall some pluses, some minuses - and the overall level of service was good.

I was attending a conference in Hillerod and this was an excellent option in terms of its location and services. Bus stop is close, even the railway station is near by (walking distance). Frederiksborg Castle can also be visited on foot.

We were greeted by a pleasant woman in the reception and quickly checked in. The atmosphere was relaxed and sociable in the different departments in the building. The breakfast was good. It´s a free parking spot adjacent to the hotel, so our vehicle was not far away.

Our room was fine, however, there was an annoying buzz that the receptionist got fixed. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff was often visible and friendly. Check-in and check-out was easy and fast

This hotel is one of the few in Hillerod Denmark. It rates 4 stars. To my opinion these stars faded away. The Hotel is outdated I had room 52 which had a chair with stains. Some in between cement between tiles in the bathroom have mould. The soap dispenser was dirty and broken. The Resaurant doen not have food for Vegetarians and also no Hamburger Menu. Also it is extremely expensive.

Perfect location, good parking and other fascilities, clean quiet nice rooms. Not to forget, great personnel and fantastic breakfast as one is used to when staying at BW-Hotels! Very close to the center, walking distance, restaurants and the great castle Frederiksborg!

Hotel offers nice rooms with all person can needed. Personell is very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast offers variety of choices, but I miss scrambled eggs made from real eggs at hotel (not from powder). Restaurant has excellent food.

A short stop in Hillerød EAs turnéstart from something real bad to an experience for life duevto the serviceminded crew of Hillerød Horell. Due to fligth and Trainee gruble er has 15 minutts for Chuck-in, gettingcready for a formal galle reception and orginizing taxi. They weee ready, and did their outmost - we made it. And we had breakfast in bed and could stay as long as we wanted the day after. Clean rooms, all well kept combined with the staff: i'll be back! Thanks

I was delighted with my decision to spend two nights at Hotel Hillerod rather than in an overpriced basic hotel in Copenhagen. I loved everything about this hotel - a huge ground floor room (perfect for sorting luggage for future travels) the friendly helpful staff the delicious breakfast and its location near Frederiksborg Castle and Baroque Gardens It is an easy train ride from the airport to Hillerod, changing at Central Station.

I have stayed here 3 times while on business in the area. It is quirky in design and feels like it needs an upgrade; more like a motel than a hotel in feel. Staff were helpful and the rooms are clean and well serviced, the let down was breakfast which I found minimal if you are an international traveller. It is over priced for what you get and lacks some decent competition in the area.

We arrived at this hotel in an emergency situation as we had left a hotel i another village late in the evening. We were greated by a most charming receptionist and felt at home instantly. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a big bathroom. All the rooms are on the ground which was a bit creepy as it was a warm night with no ac. Anybody could have accessed the room from the street. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast adequate. All in all a happy choice.
