Best Western Plus Hotel Eyde

We stay 2 nights at room 134 here due to business meetings. It is not luxury hotel in a town but expect basic manner in a business hotel. It were fine as expected in first night , the check in lady was helpful and assist for dinner booking in last minute as we arrived late. The dinner was fine. The second morning on 22Nov in breakfast place was extremely terrible , first the young lady told us we had 20 minutes only and after a second telling us we only had 19 minutes. The breakfast is until 10am and we fully understood the food section will be closed. We did not need any food anyway but just sitting with last coffee. Another senior lady who came to us angrily and informed us that we must leave in 5 minutes maximum. We came to herning for meetings and had a nice dinner at Restaurant Domæne during the trip. We chose this hotel for location , we did not expect luxury experience. But the basic manner is essential in hotel industry.

It is an excellent hotel in terms of location, quality of service, and convenient parking, and it would not be an exaggeration to rate it as a five-star hotel.

Nice enough hotel. Modern rooms. Room 104 lights broken. Moscito corpses on the walls and one live circling as I speak. 5 tv channels on a very large tv. Not one news channel. Come on, Best Western, the world is in flames and sll you offer is 2 danish, one german football thingie, one norwegian, Sky news eith no picture. The smallest entertainment package in the western hemisphere.

Just arrived and not off to the best of starts as I was downgraded. Had booked a suite online with sofa bed and reception said they didn't have that type available. Offered some compensation but new room is gloomy, dark and with a view of the elevators!! Not what I was expecting! Let's hope it improves!

The Eyde is probably Herning's top hotel and deservedly. Especially the recently renovated rooms are super spacious and very stylish. The gym with only a few pieces of equipment is probably the weakest point of the hotel but there are great gyms in the surrounding area. The breakfast is terrific as is their on-site restaurant but the hotel is also super close to Herning's best restaurants.

Everything just worked at this hotel. All employees we were in contact with were friendly, smiling and helped creating a very good atmosphere. Very centrally located in the heart of town. Good parking facilities. Although the restaurant was very busy the staff took their time to chat with the guests and in general were very friendly.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Herning. We felt a good atmosphere, with soft carpets and corners where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Our room was very cosy and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and with a good variety. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I had an exceptional stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Eyde in Herning. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city, and the free parking was a great convenience. I'm an old customer to this great hotel, returned again after a long gap of a few years. Glad to see it not just maintaining the standards for customer experience also getting better with new additions like new Restaurant which is different to the old one not only in layout but also on food. Spread of Breakfast buffet is amazing with variety of healthy & nutritious items. Excellent experience, once again.

A clean and friendly hotel that is welcoming. Parking was easy as was the check in process despite arriving early. The hotel is excellently located in the middle of this lovely town. The rooms were a little warm for my liking but nothing that stored me getting a great nights sleep. Would certainly stay again!

I always look forward to my stays at Hotel Eyde. It's in a super cozy and convenient location, the rooms are clean and modern, staff are friendly, decent enough ammenities and the breakfast is superb! Would choose again.

I was happy with overall service provided. Rooms are clean and quiet. Location is central. Breakfast is rich but access is hard when it's crowded. Did not dine at hotel restaurant as menu was poor and prices were high.

Whenever I stay in Herning, this is my favourite hotel. It is run by staff who care about their guests; the old building is a pleasant view and part of the historic buildings in the city center. Restaurant is one of the places also the locals visit a lot, with a very classical menu.

In advance we notified the hotel that we needed to charge the car and that we had late arrival. Both were confirmed by the hotel. When we arrived all the places for charging were occupied - by non-electric cars. We notified the receptionist about this while checking in, but we were told that we could change some other place. This is not a good welcome.

Fantastic hotel fantastic service both at check in and in the restaurant in the evening. This hotel is right in the centre of the town but very quiet. Nice large car park. Breakfast was good lots of choices especially if like my husband you enjoy a continental breakfast (cold meats salami etc) I was given a upgrade and the room I had was a nice large room with a wonderful comfortable bed. My only gripe would be the shower, you had to wash your hair every time you used the shower as it was just the head and that didn't move. But I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Right in the center of Herning, the very large. Hotel Eyde is perfect for business travel and business meetings. It has several meeting rooms in various sizes and an on-site restaurant which caters to lunches and provides great coffee breaks with tasty sweet and salty snacks. The lunch fish platters were absolutey huge. The rooms are large and come with well stocked mini bars, the Eyde is definitely a good option in Herning.

Excellent location situated in center and amazing breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Junior suite was spacious and clean, our best stay on our family vacation. We were disappointed to have only stayed 2 nights.

This hotel has a very good location, if you want to walk around town. Very good and comfortable beds, rooms very big and spacious. Food and breakfast good, nice value. We will definetly stay there again. There were some road constructions so we had slight problems getting to the hotel, they could have informed us about it so we could have avoid it. Two nights here on business in the area. Finding the entrance was a bit of an issue because the road is being dug up, fortunately there is a sign or two. Had a room on the third floor, apart from a very small shower a nice room. Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from. Herning looked great with the Christmas lights and decorations up, one day I'll visit again for leisure.

Cozy and clean hotel right in the middle of Herning, close to the "Torvet". Staff very friendly and prices ok. As I booked my stay in a spur of the moment, only available room was the "business" room: good space, nice bathroom - bed perhaps a little narrow.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Herning. I have visited here several times and will visit also in the future. Rooms include all you need, nice bathroom, good bed. Only thing missing is ventilation, so there might be warm in the room if the central ventilation is not working. Both restaurant and also the breakfast is very good. Location, well it is Herning, but everything is close, bars and restaurants. Parking area might be very busy, but usually we have found place.

Very friendly staff and they support the customers. The breakfast was pretty good with a verity of options. The location is fantastic with lot of dining options around. There are some pretty good bars minutes from the hotel. Walkable distance from the train station and good amount of parking.

Driving from car ferry in HIrtshals to Hamburg, so stayed the night in Herning. It was Saturday night so we wanted to see local nightlife on this pit stop. To our delight, this hotel was a 2 min walk to the street with all of the bars and clubs. And boy was that street packed with people. It was an great night. We met some locals, who told us that the Hotel Eyde is a hotel with history and known as the best hotel in Herning. In the morning, we did a short walk and the hotel is also next to the main shopping street, too. As far as hotel goes, the room was spacious with a balcony from which we could see the town Christmas tree. The breakfast is on the top floor, and it was very impressive breakfast. The room price was very reasonable for being best hotel in town, and since we were driving, I also appreciated that the parking is free. All in all, we were highly satisfied and definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Herning. Also of note, Herning officially has population of 50,000, but the nightlife and the shopping street made me thing it is a much bigger town. I would have stayed another day or two, if I had the time.

The rooms are nice enough, but lacks a bit of charm. Good space, clean, good beds, good breakfast, but it would help with some new paintings and not plasticglasses for the toothbrush, as it falls over easyli. No aircondition in our room.Had a Caesarsalad in the restaurant, it was the worst salad I had in two years, as the chicken was dry and hard.

Great "old, venerable" hotel in Herning, Hotel Eyde, now a Best Western hotel. The combination of old-and-new in the architechture, room plan, new additions is spot on, and very easy on the eye. Add a terrific staff intent on making your stay to be the best - greatly recommended!

Eyde is probably the best hotel in Herning. If you decide to book a business class room you will get a large very well equipped room with quite a high standard. The hotel itself is pleasant and effective and the location is central for Herning.

Lovely hotel and friendly staff. The food is great in a very friendly atmosphere. Even cater for an outside heated smoking area for smokers. Free parking clean rooms with the bathroom that has a heated floor nice touch. Have stayed here several times and always a lovely place to stay right in the heart of Herning.

The best about the hotel is its location. It is located in the very center in Herning and all important things are nearby, walking distance. There are many different rooms so just make sure to ask on the reception for a decent one. They range from cozy and spacious to really really small ones. I mean it is Scandinavian standard and they are not known for promoting comfort. The ym is very small, but while on the road would do the trick. It has some kind of a restaurant (more like a pub) connected to it, but plenty of opportunities around. One thing that does stand out is the service, which is impeccable. The staff are so friendly and they would do anything to assist you. If I could rate this above five stars, I most certainly would. You won't find anything better in Herning. Accommodation possibilities are very limited, so if I go there again this would be my choice

I have stayed at Eyde several times and it has always been great. The Hotel is situated right in the center of town and it is easy to get to Boxen, MCH arena or whatever your have in mind in Herning. Rooms are renovated ( the old part of hotel) and the new are of great standards. The restaurant is good and the bar is fine, could have a greater variety but sufficient. Breakfast spread is with great variety.

Lovely hotel with ample parking both outside the hotel and over the road in the centre of Herning. Very nice Christmas Ales in the bar. The staff are fantastic. The only negative is if you are in room 113 and the wind is blowing the sign for the car park makes a loud squeaking noise.

Getting there; Best Western Plus Hotel Eyde is located in the main street in Herning (approx. 40 min. by car from Billund airport). The shopping street is free of car traffic, it's mainly for pedestrians and cyclists. Simultaneously, there is a very good access to the hotel parking. If you travel by bus or train it's good for you!. The distance from the bus and train station to the hotel is only 400 meters. So, you do not have to take taxi or public transport to reach the hotel. Even, when the weather is not good it will take you only several minutes to enter to the reception. Check in: Hotel was booked by the phone by Danish company which I visited, the process of the check in took me 3 min. We received our cards and everything went very smoothly. Just to make one very positive remark to the hotel staff. We booked three nights but unfortunately our flight was cancelled and we reached the hotel the next day. During our stay in Warsaw our Danish partner had contacted the hotel manager and asked for the rebooking our reservation only for two days. The rule is clear, you have to pay for the first night and that is it!. Next day, we were very positively surprised because hotel's manager took our request into account!. He hadn't had to do it!. For me, it means that they are able to understand guest's different life situations and they are flexible – Bravo! I really appreciate it. Whole staff speak English perfectly and know what the high service level means. Room: The room is in the Scandinavian style, simple, very cosy and very guest friendly. Personally, I like that kind of feature combination. My room was standard double, there is enough space for luggage, for your notebook on the desk and so on. The bathroom and room were very clean and were cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable. There is a quite good set of cosmetics and different towels including to the face. Breakfast: The buffet breakfast is very good everyone could find something for him/herself. You can choose among: different kinds of coffee, tea, juices, dairy products, bread, baguette, ham, cheese, etc. and finally there are also some hot dishes. In the evening: The localization is one of the biggest advantage of this hotel. After the whole day of hard work and meetings you can go along the street and you will find different kinds of restaurants, fast foods, drinks and so on. If you are so tired, that you are not willing to go outside, don't worry!. In the hotel there is a very good restaurant, dishes and beers were very good at a reasonable price, keeping in mind Danish standards. Additionally, in the hotel there is in the lobby 24/7 hot beverages bar with good tea and coffee, nice. Check out: 1 min and done. To sum up: A nice and cosy hotel with its own style. Sometimes, it is more important than number of stars. There is also a possibility to rent one of the several meeting rooms e.g. for business meeting, presentation or for your anniversary. If you travel in business purposes it is a very good place to stay. You will feel like at your home. As I already said I loved that style. I am an ordinary traveller, I write my reviews to give you as much useful information as possible. Hope it will help you!

Always clean, good location, visiting since last for years, nice staff, located in the middle of the City, also used for a few days of holiday, I would always book it again as it is all in all a very good alternative address.

We just came back from a two week trip where we stayed in the Best Western Plus Hotel Eyde for the entire time. The staff is very pleasant, The hotel and rooms are kept very clean. They serve breakfast every morning and it is a nice variety, although the same choices everyday. There is a restaurant at the hotel which was very good. There is also a gym and bicycles to take for a ride around. The hotel is situated along a lovely pedestrian walkway with plenty of shops and restaurants. Denmark was experiencing an unusual heatwave while we were there. Although it made for lovely weather, the rooms are not air conditioned and that was the only drawback.

The Best Wester Eyde was a great hotel with great helpful and pleasant staff. It is easy to find if you do not book through Booking.com. They give incorrect direction for private car travel. The rooms are great and breakfast is good.

Very nice hotel in the middle of Herning. Very nice staff and good breakfast. stayed there several occasions. Rooms are repaired lately and although in the middle of town the hotel was quiet and calm.

Once again spending a very good night at the hotel in Herning. The room was very clean and the bathroom very nice and as I could see newly changed to af modern bathroom. The bed was good and the chamber warm, but with the possibllity to open the window:-).

As usual you feel almost like home when staying at the Hotel. In this week 21 the temperature was around 25 Celsius, so having dinner at the outside pavilion of the Hotel was simply perfect. Quality of the food was perfect and the same for the surroundings.

Simple. Comfortable. Amazing it doesn't have USB plugs in the room. For everything else, it works out just fine. The restaurant and bar are great. Great food, great ambience, great service. Set your eye at Eyde. You won't regret it.

We have chosen Eyde for a work related meeting combined with breakfast and lunch. The place was very nice, everything well prepared and the food was delicious. The location is rather central (also close to the railway station) and the hotel offers their guest parking space nearby.

Stayed at Hotel Eyde for 3 nights. Very nice, large and clean rooms, with a really nice bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Very nice sauna in the fitness area. Had an amazing stay for 3 days. Would stay there again at any time. Very nice and helpful staff.

Eyde can seem a bit basic but if you go for the business class room you get very good and well equipped rooms with everything you can wish for at very reasonable prices. Eyde furthermore has a very good restaurant a cozy bar and is located right in the city centre. This is by far the best hotel in Herning.

I got upgraded to Hotel Eyde as my other hotel in Herning overbooked. It was a nice surprice to se my room which was big and had a great bathroom with spa. One of the best hotel beds I have ever slept in! Unfortunately I was unable to shut of the air condition which was very noisy. The breakfast was fine if nothing special as very few things was home cooked.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. It is perfect!! It is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I have had problems with the WiFi, but that was only once, probably because the room was too far from an access point. I definitely recommend staying here if you visit Herning.

The stay was characterized to be chosen close to the final destination. It was a very good chois. Excellent hotel, caring staff good restaurant and pleasant room and super bed and bathroom. The wi-fi were excellent and the breakfast super.

Very good hotel right in the heart of Herning. Rooms are spacious and clean. Check-in was superfast and efficient. Stayed here 2 nights for business (3rd stay in the recent 4 years), and not much had changed except for the rooms having gotten an upgrade, which has made the rooms light and pleasant (and still quite large) with pretty good bathrooms. The Eyde is primarily a business hotel, but with a historical traditional past (located right on the main square of the city), which is conserved in some places, including the restaurant. Nothing out of the ordinary but above average. And with a staff that is friendly and serviceminded whether it is in the reception, in the restaurant or at the breakfast room.

The Hotel Eyde is very well situated, just in the center of Herning. The employees are very helpful when arriving, when staying and when leaving. The Breakfast is excellent and so are the meals at the Restaurant.

I feel like a dog or cat must've had this bed before. My allergies and lungs felt squashed. I sneezed and coughed my entire stay. The cleaning staff didn't provide adequate support. Some nights my breathing became labored and wheezing. This never happounleas with cats and sometimes dogs.

I stayed at hotel Eyde attending a seminar. The hotel is centrally located. Nice clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and great bedding. Breakfast was very good too. Effortless check in and check out.

The hotel is in the center of Herning. The service is excellent As a regular costemer you realy fell at home The know you and witch type of room you prefere. The meals are exelent to a fair price and you get a discont as a guest at the hotel.

Hotel room was good, clean room with modern style. Checkin was very fast and friendly and car parking easy. I would return to this hotel again if I had to stay another night. Breakfast was nice as well.

I stayed in this hotel for a couple of weeks while on business at Karup AB. The hotel is very comfortable, with large rooms. I especially appreciated receiving a larger corner room overlooking the plaza. The location of the hotel is excellent. One side accesses the street, while the other side is in the center of the town plaza across from the church. Many good restaurants are within easy walking distance from the hotel. The hotel has both a breakfast room on the top floor and a restaurant on the plaza for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was free, excellent, and had a wide selection of both hot and cold items. I ate in the restaurant a couple of times, and it was good, but more often I'd sit out on the plaza and have a beer. The front desk staff was very helpful. They spoke excellent English and provided advice whenever we needed it. Parking at the hotel is good and free but sometimes is full. If that is the case, talk to the front desk and they will send you to the overflow lot. The exercise room looked pretty good but I never used it. I mostly went on long walks. They also had some bicycles available to borrow. The common areas in the hotel are nice. I used the library a couple of times as a place to work. Wi-Fi performed well both in the common areas and in the room. I did use the hotel laundry service a couple of times during my stay. No self-serve machines are available as far as I could tell. The service quality was very good. The price was not cheap but better than other hotels I've stayed at in Denmark. Handicap accessibility was pretty good. I do recall some stairs at the entrance to the plaza, but an alternate path did exist. I don't recall any internal barriers within the hotel.

Good location. Small hotel of good quality. Beautiful room and good bathroom. Danish breakfast was very good. Our group had a good dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. The restaurant seems to be popular for the local people too.

Location is great, rooms are clean and nice, if a bit small, and price is average to good. Hotel has one of the better restaurants in town (for Danish type food, their fried pork w parsley sauce is PHENOMENAL!). Very friendly and service-minded staff, and hotel has free parking in the middle of down town, which in itself is something that matters to me. I would definately stay here again if I returned to Herning.

We have stayed here to take part in The European Triathlon Championships and the Best Western has hosted many of The GB Team. Everything has been just great.... lovely welcoming staff, very well fitted rooms, excellent Team Breakfast and a very suitable evening Buffet for The Team. This is a very good hotel is in the very centre of Herning for any stay in this pleasant town, it is ideal.

Eyes is a traditional provincial hotel where the rooms has been upgraded to a very nice standard. The staff is welcoming and smiling, the bar is very cozy and the restaurant serve some of the best food in this area. If you are Herning and don't need to stay in the conference center, Eyde is the place for you.

My fourth year in this great hotel to attend to the travel market. Very good location, very nice team, great breakfast. Web is fast and rooms are cozy. Also had a incredible meal where everything was perfect. Thank you everyone. I will be back next year.

Layout of hotel a little confusing. But rooms really nice with lots of little touches not as basic as a traditional danish hotel. Great breakfast and nice restaurant inside which was recommended but didn't get a chance to try.

Stayed three days for business. I thought for a four star hotel it was nice and well done. Lots of plugs for phones and computers in the room, very quiet, nice bathroom and shower and good staff . Also the restaurant was very good offering traditional Danish dinner and with a nice atmosphere

The location couldn´t be better. Great staff, nice restaurants, good breakfast, free parking, comfy and clean rooms, bikes for rental... Nothing extraordinary, but everything just feels ok. I have stayed here a couple of times and this hotel will definitely be my choice for my next trip to Herning.

Actually it is simple and small hotel but they have clean rooms, friendly staffs, good breakfast. Also the place ia really close to the pubs, then you can enjoy the evenings. You can also use fitness freely.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, it looks much better in real life than in the pictures. Location is great for the centre of town. Breakfast was really good and satisfying. The only down side to this hotel is the lack of air con/ventilation in the rooms. Apart from that is was great!

Hotel Eyde is a pleasant, friendly hotel with more character than the usual Scandinavian business hotel. Staff are efficient and amiable. Good atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. Convenient access to good restaurants in Hernng. I recommend a stay if on business in the area.

I expected more looking on booking.com and TripAdvisor scope for this private owned hotel with Best Western Plus Label. It's hard to believe why 4 stars are promoted: - Rooms showing inside are noisy when open windows. A ventilation unit is running complete time with 55-60db(A) - Small standard room <20sqm and only 70cm wide desk - no A/C - 3 german channels only -- Poor breakfast with low varity and worse instant coffee (only extreme fast) -- price level + Parking for free + good qualified staff, Service oriented + clean ++ bad room nice and renovated Next time Scandic again.

Nice hotel, centrally located. Fair value for the money. Newly refurbished rooms were very nice. Good breakfast and easy access with car. I will recommend the hotel for staying in Herning if you need a centrally located hotel.

I've been several tiemes in this hotel due to business and I have to say that it's a great choice for a long staying. It's quiet. Rooms are really cozy, specially the ones that are in the high levels (between numbers 205 and 225) All the staff is really nice from the reception people to the housekeepers. Wonderful place to rest after a long day working. However wiffi signal is really weak (I had to wander for all the hotel to be able to make a whatsapp call), and fitness facilities need to be changed or have a maintenance visit.

This hotel is very conveniently located - it's a short walk from the train station and situated right in the centre of Herning. We were only here for one night but our stay was absolutely fine. The room was clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed. Check in and check out were both very quick and easy. Wi-Fi was free but since it only allows one device per room you just need to use a different room number for your other devices! :-) I'd stay here again if I was ever to return to Herning and I'd happily recommend it to others.

Ideally located in the centre of Herning. The hotel has been extended so has some old parts as well as modern. Room was very spacious. Staff were very friendly. Hotel has own car park. It was very quiet. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Good breakfast - but ends at 10 am prompt on a weekday.

I liked this hotel as its clean. It was the first hotel so far that there was a provision of alcohol wash before you enter the breakfast area. There was a free bycicle as well for us to borrow during our stay. Very close to shops, groceries, banks , etc.

Stayed here twice and both times were outstanding. The service is very high and professional. The breakfast is very good with a huge selection for all tastes. We have also eaten in the restaurant and it was a pleasure. The food was excellent and obviously sourced from best available ingredients. The restaurant staff were, again, very professional which is always a good sign of good management. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel and restaurant if you are in Herning.

Room was very clean, new bedsheets, towels, clean bathroom. Staff were nice, friendly as most Danish people, I was happy. Stayed there just for 1 night as am mostly staying with friends in Denmark as everything here is very expensive and taxes too !!!

Excellent hotel with great, smiling and warm service, and with extremely clean and fantastic rooms. Super location and with a private parking facility. Breakfast was excellent as well. I will definitely visit again.

Placed very convenient at the very center of Herning and fairly close to the exhibition center. The hotel has recently been very successfully renovated to a top standard and fitted with classic Danish designer furniture and Bang&Olufsen hifi equipment. Service was swift and polite. Only negative comment is about the breakfast which was OK but not at same high standard as the rest of the hotel - room was a little to boring and why any hotel chooses to service scrambled eggs from powder is a mystery to me (should not be difficult to make from real eggs) All in all a very nice and pleasant hotel surely worth a visit if in Herning

We were made very welcome and felt as though anything we asked at the reception desk was no problem at all. Sauna was available at any time on request, there was a little gym there too which we didn't use as we cycled everywhere. They didn't have enough bikes to hire to us so we were directed to a bike hire shop which did cause a little stress and confusion as we couldn't find it and had to get a taxi in the end and we payed for it on top of the hotel bill at the end which we weren't expecting to but it wasn't very much for the 3 days we had the bikes so it was fine. The location was ideal right in the centre of the city. Breakfast was great! Lots of choice, yummy breads and lots of Pastries ?? On our last morning we had to get a train at 7 am so had organised in advance to have breakfast bags made up for us. This had been passed on and we confirmed it the night before, however when we went there in the morning there was no breakfast bags to be found although a message from the staff the night before had been left and the night staff was told they were ready. This was a bit disappointing but they were very apologetic and straight away got us bags and we got to pick out what we wanted so it was fine in the end. Overall hotel was lovely! A bit of a funny smell as you enter but other than that, the hotel room was very nice and the hotel in general was so good and we will definitely stay there again ?? Thank you ??

The location is perfect, a lot of restaurants and shops near by. Restarant Sct. Jørgens (the hotels own restaurant) serves excellent, danish food. Very good rooms (only but is that they are a quite small) everything you need, and nice bathrooms, excellent beds! Very good breakfast, good coffee, friendly staff. I would like to come back.

Right in the middle of town just on the town square, this was my home for a week whilst working in the area – and it was an excellent experience. I had room 9 overlooking the main square – it was a little on the small side, but had two decent sized windows that let in plenty of light, plus another in the bathroom area. It was cosy and comfortable and I soon settled in. It had everything you needed – including a small fridge and good efficient heating – via two massive covered radiators which could be manually controlled! It wasn't the funkiest or most NOW in terms of décor, but it was absolutely OK, the WIFI was exceptionally fast, wide and free and I enjoyed spending time in – working - during the evenings. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well for the whole week The bathroom looked recently re-modelled and was well designed with plenty of space, shelves for your own things, hooks for the towels and decent lighting that was movement triggered. Staff were friendly and efficient, and I made the most of the free car parking out the back although it did get full if you arrived later in the evening! There's a restaurant on the ground floor which is extremely popular with the locals as well as guests, and it was packed full every night. I ate there just once – on the first night after arriving. The food was excellent, there was a nice vibe and was relaxed being there on my own. I'll definitely stay there again and in fact have already booked for another visit that's up-coming in the summer.

Always stay here when in Herning - nice people, decent size rooms, clean, nothing fancy. Only ever had breakfast here but it is always decent food - a good buffet selection. Central to Herning - conveniently located. Sometimes parking is limited if you arrive late.

Stayed here when Southampton FC played FC mitjetland. They put on a dinner for all us saints fans as and the hotel was in the centre of the town, just a 2 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants. Also close to the station and has parking. Great room and lovely hotel and would recommend for anyone who randomly visits herning. Not the cheapest though.

I always chose this hotel for my business trips . It's a cozy and comfortable hotel . Nice staff always helpful and smiley ,clean ,modern and nice room great breakfast and it's located in the heart of the town . There is a mini bar ,free coffee and tea machines and sweets available at the reception what can you ask for more?

The Hotel Eyde is located in the main square in Herning - app 10 minutes walk from the train station. If you happen to enter what looks like the main entrance you will have diifciulty finding the reception which is in the order end of the building. There is a lack of signs meaning you in the morning will find it hard to find the breakfst room (located on 4th floor). OK service, but somewhat overpriced for what you get,

This was a nice surprise for a small town hotel - nicely renovated at a good standard all over - rooms adequate and modern standard room. Breakfaste service was short of heart and soul plain and simple -

All in all, top service and very helpful and professionel staff. I´m a business traveler, trough out 25 years, in 114 countries. If only all hotel staff was like Eyde´s - my life would be SO much easer while on the job... Business traveler tip: Serious fast internet!!!!

This hotel seems to be perfect - and I do not use that word easily. Location is central: restaurant, bar and breakfast are all doing all they should and look the part. Room, bed, shower and toiletries are all as expected for an upmarket hotel Staff were always friendly, smiling and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would return there if ever visiting Herning again.

On a recent visit to Herning for a birthday party my partner and stayed three nights in this hotel. We are so happy we did. The hotel is very well located in the centre of town, with private parking. As we arrived late in the evening and didn't have the energy to start looking for a restaurant to have dinner we opted for the hotel restaurant. In my experience these restaurants are not always the best places to eat. But, in this case I have to say, the food service and ambience were all very good. So much so that we also ate there on our last night. As for the rest of the hotel experience, very friendly, helpful staff, right through the hotel, from reception and beyond. Nice room, with I have to say a bit of a "bijou" shower, but it was adequate for our needs. If I get the chance to go back, I'd simply check for a bigger bathroom. But either way it wouldn't prevent me staying in this hotel again.

My last review noted the ongoing renovations and I'm glad to report these are now complete. I am staying in one of the renovated rooms and the standard is good. As usual the staff are kind and helpful, the breakfast typically Scandinavian but there is now a homely feel about the place. I've been here for three nights, slept well used the wifi to complete and upload some reports with little issue and felt relaxed throughout. I would certainly recommend this hotel if staying in Herning.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in my recent travels. City centre location, ample space for parking. The hotel has maintained a very elegant style with a contemporary feel. Staff were fabulous and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and with an add on bonus of the view of Herning. Rooms are spacious and comfy beds for a guaranteed great night sleep. Definitely a home away from home. Visiting again in 2 weeks time and very much looking forward to it.

Visited on a business trip for just 24 hours, but received a warm welcome from helpful staff. The hotel looks dated from the outside but don't be put off. The rooms and reception area are all re decorated to a good standard. The breakfast room on the fourth floor felt like a bit like a canteen, as there were just bare tables to sit at, with all food cutlery etc on a central table. Location is good for the town, there is parking on site although it's quite a small car park. But I would recommend this hotel as a good option.

I had an upgrade to a room with balcony. Room was very nice, good breakfast, friendly Service and but not least centrally located. Enjoyed the sunset from the balcony with a glas of good Whisky. I will choose this hotel for my next trip again and recommend it to my friends.
