Don't stay anywhere but Best Western. Have traveled extensively all summer at different chains. Most were disastrous..Best Western was the best. Others cannot compare with service, friendliness, availability and food..they make a weary old traveler feel safe and at home
I always stay every time I go to Hereford Texas. Service is exceptional every housekeeping is really good. Love to stay here. Moreover, their Breakfast has lot of verities with hot foods and they keep breakfast very clean. I would love to stay here. Thank you for everything.
Pretty decent place! Had some great Texas service here and even waffle irons that make waffles in the shape of the state of Texas! Rooms were big an clean. Internet was working really fine. We would like to come back when we are in this are again.
Checked in close to midnight, only to find out our room didn't have a working shower. Called the front desk she stated she would come by and look at it. Wait 30 min called her back since she didn't show she said she did go and knocked but we didn't answer I asked her what number she went to and she gave me the wrong number. She was knocking on someone else's door. Then she finally came by the room looked at the shower and said would have to move to us. I explained to her that we had a baby and a carrier that we needed to be on the bottom floor. I followed her back to lobby so she could get us new keys. Told me she did not have anything on the bottom floor. So we decided that at 1am we had no choice but to go up and down the stairs. She assigned me a room went back to pack up my family went to our new room upstairs only to find out the key did not work. I went back downstairs got the keys fixed went back up stairs and that room that she assigned had the deadbolt feom thw inside. Had to go back downstairs try to get a new room assigned and she couldn't figure out how to change it. Finally about an hour later entered our room that she said was an upgrade. The room was filthy. Curtains were stained and torn, shower had hair in it, carpet was dirty, sheets had brown stains. The room was out dated and smelled like old wet rag. But I was tired, we all were we were not gonna go back down stairs across the courtyard to go complain again. Needless to say we will never stay here again. And the front desk lady was nice she did state she was new. I understand it was not her fault. But for the high price we paid I expected better. But the town has 2 hotels. And they cater to long staying business, truck drivers cause the place was ran down.
Spacious room fresh finishes well appointed. It is a busy place so if you arrive late you may not be able to park very close to your room. My room faced the courtyard and was quiet. New towels, fresh bedding and pillows. Really comfortable. Friendly greeting by the front desk. They thanked me for being a Best Western Rewards member. Gets pretty busy at breakfast 6 to 6:30. Waited a few minutes on coffee. Actually had eggs, sausage & biscuits, which were out due to the rush. Lots of folks continued to come in. Definitely a working person hotel. Seemed short staffed, at least that day.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! 1.The staff power washed the walls, doors and windows of the hotel on Monday around 4 right at check in time 2. The curtain on my window left about 8" of window exposed....I manually moved the curtain hooks to pull it across 3. The arm chair was horrible stained and appeared as if a cat had used it as a cat tree 4. There was dried paint splatter on seat cushions and the floor 5. The hot water only got warm for about 7 minutes and only late at night.....after midnight! 6. There were flies in the room all week 7. The deadbolt did not work 8. The TV service was spotty and off more than on 9. The housekeeping room was next to mine (Room 123) and the staff stood outside my window visiting nightly til about 7 or 8. 10....the bed was the only acceptable item there
Elizabeth has to be one of the most friendly persons here in Hereford. Our first time traveling here for our sons Basketball tournament and with 3 kids, I needed all the help I could get. From having the keys to my room ready, making the check-in an extremely quick process and assisting with our late check-out her customer service was OUTSTANDING. She went above and beyond with what our family needed. I also have to mention that our room was super clean and neat. This is our first time staying with Best Western Hotels and it will definitely continue to be our to go Hotel from now on. Thank you Elizabeth!! You are Awesome
Check in clerk Elizabeth was very cooperative and showed great hospitality. We thank her for all her help. We traveled to Herefored Texas for the chamber of commerce golf tournament. The desk clerk Elizabeth was cooperative in more ways that one. We felt welcomed.
They should really build a Best Western in a better location. This one is in a really bad location..
Customer service is awesome here. Rooms are big and recently painted. Bed is very comfortable and this place stays busy in weekdays. Breakfast has lot of options to eat. I would recommended this hotel to everyone.
We stay here every time when we come to Hereford. Best place in this small town. Please are very nice and rooms are clean. Moreover, you can get to eat breakfast free with hot items. Hotel is old but service is 10 out 10 Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and see you guys soon in near future.
Good location off the freeway. easy check in and out, clean facility and room The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. We were able to get an early hot breakfast that had plenty to choose from.
The hotel management needs to take in consideration and evaluate their front desk staff the lady looked so unprofessional she was the worst with her rude attitude she came off with and rolling her eyes just very discourteous and when asked if bottom floor was available she just said no and didnt even bother to check so next time im in town and need a room i hope she is not at the front desk this lady had tattoos on her face so everyone can know and avoid her or be cautious but other than that room was clean except for stain on blanket and only breakfast complaint is the gravy was watery and waffle mix as well
I actually had a good stay well me and my brother the front desk receptionist who I believe named daisy is who accommodated us she gave us a clean decent double bed room where we could park our semis next to she was very sweet had a great attitude and was very helpful when we needed to add more days to the stay since our loads were backed up but also helped us when we asked her for help on getting around the town and looking for restaurant recommendations
This is the first time i have to give a bad review on best western and thats because im a regular here but i stayed the weekend of thanksgiving came down to visit family all i can say is bad bad experience the owner must have hired new front desk because i did not see the regular ladies i see when i check in who give exceptional customer service who have a professional appearance and it looks like now he just hires anybody to tend to his front desk also i did not like the old coffee and stale breakfast i just feel disappointed because this was my go to place to stay when i come visit family from the oil rigs but looks like the place is just going down the gutter now
I was just passing buy on my way back home to kansas so i stopped by to get some rest and i would rate this hotel as very comfortable and clean the front desk attendant was a sweet blonde young girl so happy and cheerful wo told me if i had any problems with my room to just let her know very happy with my stay
I went to work at White Energy on business and the rooms were well maintained breakfast was hot and fresh my only complaint would be the lady with tattoos at the front desk that checked me in that evening she had a very negative attitude towards me made me feel like I was not welcomed made the check in process very awkward
Wonderful staff. When I checked in I had trouble with my key card. The clerk helped me and got me into my room. He also offered to carry in my luggage. Very polite and respectful. The morning clerk offered me help if I needed it as well. The breakfast was fabulous. All dishes were hot and fresh. I would stay there again.
This hotel is old but was really well kept. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice as well. We will defiantly stay here when we are in this area.
My stay was great! From the time you check-in to the time you check-out everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is good and I can't forget about the Texas shaped waffles they were yummy. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff in all are just awesome! Bianca from the front desk is very friendly and always ready to help one out when need information about the town. I sure will be going back to Best Western
The motel is very close to several eating places. You can even walk to them. We have stayed here several times and we have always had a verry good experience. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is enjoyable. Highly recommend this motel.
We were too tired to Continue driving so we stayed at the best Western in Hereford. Overall, I would give a three out of five stars need some serious, upgrading But other than that than that it was clean, and Very quiet area
Staff was friendly and nice. Facility was clean. Locatiin is good. We were just passing thru on our way home. Unfortunately, the pool was not opened yet and there is no hot tub even if it was opened.
The room was clean and well-equipped. The heating unit was noisy and cycled repeatedly during the night. The room has doors on both ends, which is convenient for unloading and loading, but may pose security problems because the door opening onto the pool area showed signs of being broken into at some point in the past. Relative to other Best Westerns, the room rate was good.
from the moment you check in to the moment you check out everyone you come into contact with is just so friendly and kind. They really do make you feel at home. Bianca at the front desk was just awesome and Deysi was friendly during our breakfast visit. The breakfast food was yummy! The housekeepers although they stay busy, they still make time to check on you and see if anything is needed for your stay. Overall, everything was great, and the staff was awesome! Best Western never disappoints!
I have stayed at this hotel one or twice a year for the last 40 years. I have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is clean. I had a room with 2 queen beds and they were very comfortable as were the pillows. The carpet is new as well as the paint on the walls. The restroom has recently been refurbished and is very nice.
This hotel is located in a great area and Hereford Texas. There is a great Chinese buffet restaurant right next door which is very convenient. There are other fast food restaurants around as well. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, and it had great seating for you to sit and have a nice breakfast. The rooms were nice and clean the only thing I did not like or the pillows I suggest you take in your own as we do but that's anywhere we go. I also advised to make sure your air conditioning / heater works because ours works great and halfway through the night our air conditioner quit so it was rather unpleasant. But overall what a great place to stay
Staff Friendly Breakfast so so good but same everyday. Good Location Rooms were out dated but clean. Parking was plentiful and well lit at night was not wooried about tools being taken out of truck Overall rating 5 out of 10
COVID crisis medical professional. Easy check in. Left for 2 days for medical tests and when I returned my already paid for room was occupied by someone else. Items left in room unrecoverable. Hotel claims no responsibility. Fell on iced walkway, asked to be cleared and never happened.
Older motel but had been remodeled. Was very clean. Was worried about noise from the highway,. Was not a problem. It was a plain room. Not much on the walls. No bedside lamps. Had to crawl out of bed to turn the light on. Would stay there again if I get back to Hereford. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful.
There are multiple buildings on this property and I made the mistake of thinking a second stay might get me in what appears to be the newer, better maintained building. I was wrong. I was put in the west building again. The room was dirty, dingy, with a door that didn't close very well. There seem to be many long term guests in this section as well that spend their time sitting outside drinking no matter what time of day or night.
We enjoyed our stay of 4 days. The staff was wonderful in all areas. We did not get a chance to eat breakfast, we slept in everyday because the beds were so comfy. Our family lives here, will be back.
Best place to stay in Hereford. You definitely get what you pay for here! Comfortable, clean rooms. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Fast wifi, great location within walking distance to many restaurants.
We stayed here on a business/family trip in May. The receptionist was cheerful and helpful; love that West Texas hospitality! The hotel is older & has been refurbished. Our room was clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Hereford is a noisy place at the intersection of two major highways; I used white noise on my ipad to drown out the truck racket.
I always stay here anytime i have to stay on business trips. Its very dependable hotel and well taken care of with friendly staff that are always willing to help when you need it. The only thing that would make this place perfect is if they would open up the pool already... besides that the rooms are on point! Overall great stay and very reliable.
Staff was very friendly and helpful as I'd never been in this town before the room was very nice, clean and comfortable just stayed over night but was very happy for such an out of the way place thanks to all your staff.
The staff are very friendly and kind and I was surprised the breakfast had as many options as it did. The rooms could use better beds and pillows. The locks and door handles should have some work done my first room the lock did not lock so I was given another room. The shower had weak water pressure. A large dent in the headboard and a few various holes in the drywall of the room.
I have started here several times and it has always been a very good place to stay. We have 2 dogs that we travel with and we are very happy with their pet policy. I traveled by myself this time up to Colorado.
Marissa was so polite and knowledgeable! I will be back again. This hotel is clean and friendly. The housekeeping does their job so great. All of the employees I came into contact with were so welcoming.
Best Western team of Hereford does an exceptional job to accomodate any and all guest needs. I have never been disappointed. Best Western of Hereford will continue to be my first choice when traveling. Keep up the good work!
Was staying due to weather condition and room and bed were a home away from home, the amenities were great in Hereford, Texas. would recommend this place to others that are looking for a nice place to stay
Clean rooms. Pet Friendly. Got a wonderful nights sleep. No outside noise to interrupt our sleep. Plenty of bath accessories. Fridge kept our drinks cold and ice machine conveniently located. Overall a pleasant stay.
Overall the room was alright. I would recommend this in the future but I would also tell people it's not the cleanest rooms in the world. Because I think that this hotel needs to undergo a deep deep cleaning. Under the beds is ridiculous. A friend of mine stayed in the same hotel and got bit by a spider. When he looked under the bed he was disgusted. So this is my opinion. It needs some TLC and then it would be a very nice and comfortable hotel. Right now IT's ALRIGHT.
We found the BW Hereford and a great place to stay on our trip to visit family in New Mexico. Checking in and out was easy. They were ready for us. The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the motel could not offer their customary hot breakfast due to the covid-19 problems. But they made up for it with a large choice of muffins and fruit. In addition, there were plenty of food establishments close by the motel, so food was not a problem. All in all, we liked BW Hereford enough that we stayed there again on our way back home, and will continue to do so in the future.
Arrived and the room and was very dated. Paint peeling and not very clean. Our bed spread was dirty and had to get another one. There was a fly in the room upon arriving. The bathroom had dried (who knows what) on the counter. The room had appeared to not be cleaned for a while. The AC did NOT work correctly. Woke up at 2am to the ac not running at all. Messed with it for about 30 minutes unplugged the unit and it started to work. AC went out again about an hour later. Pool was closed , which was fine, we only stayed 1 night. Would not recommend.
The room was clean, the wifi worked, the bed was comfy, the tv worked & it was quiet even though it was near a highway & railroad tracks. Their morning coffee does need to be stronger though. The shower was soft water.
Pool not open, one of my deciding factors is pool/hotub. Would've been nice to know ahead- outdoor i assumed covid rules allowed open. Grab n go breakfast (covid) coffee, tea, juice, cereals, yogurt, toast, muffins. Tiny in room frig/sink/micro. Can have attaching rooms for groups.
I usually like staying at a Best Western Inn because of the upgraded services including as advertised the full breakfast. This particular in didn't have a breakfast except for muffins and bread. The Ice machine also was not working. I could have stayed at budget hotel down the street for half the cost with the same services.
Room was ok. The TV was big but was not set up properly. The bed was comfortable. Other travelers in the parking lot were smoking weed. The air conditioner was very loud and did not cool well. THe room next door's air conditioner was louder than mine. Will be seeking other accomodations in the future.
This location is starting to see wear an tear for it's age. However, was needing just a night stay on my way through. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, The room was clean and comfortable for my needs.
I stay here every time I am in Hereford. Very nice clean rooms and even though it is right across the road from a railroad track, you never hear the train. Great people who manage and work there. Good breakfast. Will keep staying here.
I've stayed here for over 20 years and it still offers a warm bed and a quiet room. This is the best place to stay in Hereford. The rooms are clean, quiet, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is 1st rate. There are plenty of eating places within easy walking distance from your room. This is a wonderful motel to get a good night sleep.
Every year we come through here on our way home from Tucson. We have always stayed at the Best Western Red Carpet Inn. Our room is always clean, roomy, comfortable, and a great value. It's also right on our route...easy to get back on our way the next morning. Plus, there is a Loves across the street to gas up before we hit the road.
Best place to stay with lots of places to eat nearby. It was also conveniently located right off the main roads in town. Excellent service from courteous staff during out crew's checkin that early morning...
Great place !!!!! Front desk check in young lady named Bianca was fabulous !!! She was remarkable and so helpful and kind !!!!!!! I would highly recommend this place to stay and the value was very reasonable !!!!
We had a great stay at the Red Carpet Inn in Hereford Texas. Room was clean and comfortable. We were travelling with our two dog which we do frequently and having a pet friendly place to send the night is a blessing. We want to say thank you to Marissa who greeted us with a smile and was so professional.
Due to a load of college kids staying at the hotel, it was a bit noisy thru the night. But the room was clean, comfortable and affordable. The internet worked well and the whole property was clean. We will stay there again.
Once again, a very nice stay in Hereford. I had to change my reservation a day in advance due to illness; I called the hotel directly and had a very helpful clerk. When I arrived, I was able to check in early. Love the large rooms with plenty of space for dog crates; convenient grassy area for my dogs, also. The pool was open - a first for any time I've been there, but the day I arrived was apparently the last day for the season. The beds are very comfy and everything in the room worked well; the laundry, however was having difficulty with the washing machine. I had soapy clothes in the washer, and it wouldn't start after putting money in - gentleman went out with me and manually reset the machine so I could wash my clothes.
beds was a little hard but other than that i have nothing but good to say about the hotel. The room was clean and all the other aspects of the hotel were great. The staff was helpful. We slept too late to enjoy the breakfast but we would stay here again.
Malissa and Melva were fast check in and checkout good breakfast this hotel was easy to find in Hereford Texas. there was lost of places to eat meals and it was quite the the outside area and hallways were clean
Nice comfortable beds and updated shower with plenty of towels. Great staff. They let our group use the breakfast room in the evening to play cards. Also good breakfast with waffles bagels cereal toast.
Upon arrival room looked great. Big Spacious. But that preception quickly changed. Telephones didnt work, clock didnt work. Overhead lights did not work, microwave didnt work. When I spoke with Maintenance he acknowledged he knew about the issues but that building has those problems was his answer
Nice hotel in a small town off the beaten path. Bigger than average room, breakfast ok but no meat option. Pool was closed even though hotel book said open May through September. But overall a good place to stay.
Being off the interstate routes, and in a small town, I was surprised at the cleanliness of the property. Marissa checked me in and was very polite and friendly. Great room and full breakfast. Will be staying there my next trip through the area.
Last minute trip, we were passing through Hereford and me and my husband decieded to pull over to rest and we ended up staying at the Best Western. Last minute reservation and hotel looked full was not to sure if they had any rooms availale but they did. Bianca, young girl at the front desk-very sweet girl. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and it was! Very nice hotel, as well as all staff was friendly and the area we stayed at was very quiet. Room was very nice and clean, We would stay again
Stayed for one night and let me just say everything was great! I was satisfied with the stay and the motel it self is brilliant! If you are around this area and are needing a place to stay i would highly recommend this motel! When i checked in the receptionist by the name of Bianca was working, let me tell you one friendly gal really loved her. Bianca also called me to my room after a few mins. of checking in to see how everything was with my room, i thought that was nice of her. Will sure be returning back when i need a place stay in the area
Very nice hotel very clean friendly people felt very safe there rooms were big it was awesome. Right now I'm trying to book another today's at the Vinton Louisiana Best Western Hotel. Having some trouble with the website but otherwise I love Best Western
I stayed here for several nights from 8-2 onward. Brilliant motel. Please don't consider anywhere else to stay in the Hereford area. Room was huge, 2 beds, very clean, AC was great, bathroom was great, shower was hot, good pressure, nice vanity area, plenty of closet space, TV channels were wide and varied, wi-fi was perfect, I couldn't come up with ANY complaints, from check in to check out. Staff was super nice, pool is clean and although I didn't use it many people did during my stay. Breakfast was awesome, hot food, eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles,,,,also fresh fruit, cereal, pastries and good coffee. Melva at the desk was just super awesome when I checked in and checked out. I observed the housekeeping staff and they were very professional and never stopped. Hard working staff. My room showed their work when I checked in. Please, don't stay anywhere else in Hereford. The rate is great and you'll be highly satisfied.
We were only passing through Hereford, TX and needed to stop for the night. The hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet based on its proximity to the railroad tracks and being on the main highway. I would stay again.
Marissa at this hotel made the stay! The room, king bed, was very spacious. But there was a musty smell. The show did not have great pressure but it was not bad at all. The pool does not have any shade or umbrellas. Breakfast was okay and adequate. Good stay for the price.
Excellent friendly staff. Rooms were very clean well stocked. The hotel property was also very clean. We were able to enjoy patio area. Pool area was also very relaxing. Would recommend Best Western Hereford anytime!
Business trip; was here for an extended period of time; friendly staff, clean room, easy access to the things I needed, not too far from Amarillo where there was more things to do and see; another good experience with Best Western!
Stayed here as a lay over on the way to the Charles Goodnight Museum in Goodnight, Texas. The young lady at check in was very nice, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about the proper process. Outside pool was working and available. Room was quiet, we got a good night's rest and was on our way the next morning. I would stay here again.
The room was clean, and very pretty. Thought I was walking into an omni hotel. The desk clerk was super nice and very helpful. We will definitely recommend this motel to friends and family.keep up the good work in keeping a nice place that feels like home.
Our family came from different parts of Texas for a family reunion in Hereford. We came from Houston, some came from Laredo & some from the Valley. We all were very satisfied with our stay. We will definitely consider staying at a Best Western in the near future.
Very friendly and clean. Swimming pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast was delish lots of options and kept clean and hot. Check in was right on time. The price was very affordable for a two night stay!
Overall it is ok! The problem i had was with the trains passing through the night but obviously there is not anything the hotel can do about that. I also traveled in a very large vehicle...not much parking for that---again, not much can be done about that.
We stayed here on the way home from a funeral. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue was we could hear the conversation of our neighbors and their baby crying was our wake up call. Lol thank goodness it wasn't super early. The Staff were Courteous and helped out when we needed a little later of a check out.
I always enjoy my stays at any best western I've been to. The accommodations at this establishment were wonderful. I really appreciated the room I was given with the whirlpool bath tub. I had a great nights sleep and was ready to go the next morning. Thank you BW. Always my first choice.
.Was a very clean place and a great price .We did not get to use the pool as we were there in March but it look nice. Also it had a very nice breakfast that came with it and that was very clean which is very important.
The room was clean and the linens were clean and folded neatly. The bed always made and the personnel at the desk friendly and helpful. I have stayed here several times in the past and believe the value I have received is the best for the price in Hereford,Texas.
The room was clean and spacious , the staff were friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable and clean breakfast was good and more than just the usual cereal and coffee , Overall for the cost and experience was a good choice
I had a large, comfortable room with a huge bed, a flat screen TV and good free internet. Hotel was close to several eating places and a short drive to places to shop. Less than an hour drive to Amarillo.
Highly recommend this place. The place is located close to eating places. The rooms are kept very clean and the beds are excellent. The breakfast is very good and they have different items to select from.
This is an older hotel, but it is pretty well-maintained as far as quality of linens, cleanliness, etc. Having family in Hereford, I've stayed here through the years many times. I stayed there for the past weekend and I was very pleased with my room. Yes, it's pretty standard for a BW of this size, but to me, the helpfulness of the staff and front desk people makes it a better deal than the cosmetically prettier Holiday Inn down the road. Can't give it five stars because it needs some small touches/updates (missing light switch cover, for instance). But I'll stay here again.
Stopped here on the way to a wedding in Austin. While the motel is older the management has taken steps to update furnishings. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower was great, loved the shower head. Facility was overall clean. The breakfast buffet had many great options. The attendant was very personable and proudly asked how the good the breakfast was and what additional things we might need.
Great friendly people who want to make sure you enjoy you stay! Good value for your money! Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I stay there every time that I'm in or near Hereford, Texas.
Above average property, excellent front desk staff, good housekeeping and reasonable price!Location is good, close to restaurants, gasoline and other services. Busy intersection and on main route of three major highways.
The rooms are large and clean and include a microwave and small refrigerator. There is enough room for a roll a way bed or baby bed to be set up. There were also two vanities in the room, allowing more than on person to get ready at a time. We didn't eat the breakfast so cannot comment on that. The only complaint is that the lights above both the bathroom vanity and the additional vanity do not put out the proper light to apply makeup. I had to go stand by the window to make sure I was not putting it on too heavily! Other than that, great room for a great price.
it's a great room to stay in nice and clean. my husband and I stay there every time we go to Hereford, Tx. good breakfast and fast internet. parking is small but over all it is a good place to stay. Vuittonet family
Was a nice place to stay. Rooms were clean, price was good and staff was great. It was too early for use of the pool. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. All the amenities were in working order.
Our king room was roomy, clean and had been updated. There was a nice pool outside our room. The breakfast had sausage patties and other items. In town for a funeral and we were very comfortable here.
We stayed here as we visited our daughter, The first room we were in and it had bed bugs, they moved us to a different room. We stripped the bed to make sure it didnt jave bigs as well. We didn't find bugs, but the mattress has blood all over it. The rooms we nasty. The staff seemed concerned, but didnt really do much
My family usually stays here when they come into town and they're always taken care of. They love the pool in the summer time! Overall this hotel has great service and great hospitality. It's worth the money and it's a great in between of too much money or to little money.
Was traveling towards Amarillo and encountered a rain/hail storm. This Best Western was a convenient stop in Hereford to get out of the weather. Had a great night's rest and waited out the storm. Would recommend.
Everything was great! Room was clean and service was very friendly. Highly recommend to people traveling. Right off the highway. Very happy with the stay. Hopefully you won't have any problems with your stay there.
We have stayed many many nights. The rooms are dated but clean and most of the time quiet. We have enjoyed the pool during the summer months. The staff is very pleasant and maintenance is always prompt if needed.
We stayed here sometime last year and it was a great stay, but this time around, it was very disappointing. Maybe the timing was off? Don't get me wrong, we will stay here again if need be which is very likely.
This hotel requires a slight detour off I40 but it is worth .the room rate is reasonable and it is only about a 45 minute drive from Amarillo.the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, great internet and tv. A thumbs up.it is located in a nice Texas town,
We stayed here one night on our way to see relatives in Texas. The rooms are nice and it has a nice court yard for our pups. They gave us an upstairs room which is actually quieter but was hard getting luggage upstairs. No elevator. Vending machine that was close, was out of order. A lot of workers stay here but nothing rowdy.
In town on business checked in quickly lady at the desk was super nice, got to my room it was clean was able to get a restful nights sleep, most of the guys from my company stay here while working in town this was my 2nd time to be sent to Hereford the first time I was unable to stay here due to the hotel being out of rooms but from now on I'm booking a room in advance so I can get a good night's sleep I'll be back for sure
This is a great place to stay. I stayed for 5 nights this trip. They offer outstanding service, very clean rooms and a super breakfast. I have stayed here about 10 nights a year for the last 22 years. The only thing that would make a better stay would be the use of a recliner in the room. I will be back again.
Everything that can go wrong with a room is wrong with this place. Room is decorated like the 70's, the 1870's ! Very dark with poor lighting. Dark brown stucco walls. Carpet was torn and stained. Furniture dusty. Had very few outlets to charge the devices of a modern day traveler. Shower had mold growing on the wall. Towels were hard, rough to the touch. Poor quality toiletries, with no shampoo or conditioner. Just a tiny bar of soap and body lotion Air conditioner/ heater was noisy and not Effective. Bed was uncomfortable. I was almost tempted to sleep in my car. You can clearly do better.
Many people might be offended by the small of the feedlots that surround Hereford, Texas. It was odor free in the room! Clean, comfortable, spacious and attractive. WiFi was good. The TV was not set up right but they discounted the rate for that inconvenince. Breakfast was surprisingly good. It was only 21 degrees outside the next monring but toasty warm inside the room.
This is a clean but dated facility. It is probably the best choice if one is staying between Amarillo or Clovis. Parking is limited so you will not get close to your room, the breakfast was plentiful but cold. Staff was friendly and helpful in giving dining ideas in this small town.
We had a few issues upon check-in into our room. We ended up staying the night because it was so late. Spoke to the manager during breakfast and he was very helpful and went Above and Beyond. Despite our issues breakfast was good and stocked well. Started out at very unsatisfied but we would certainly give this place a second chance if we're passing thru in the future.
Great hotel. Is a little older but rooms are very nice and clean! The breakfast is excellent as well. Rooms are very large and accommodating. Has a separate area for those that need to see a mirror besides in the bathroom.
The front office lady was really nice and helpful. Room was very clean... bathroom was very clean, nice to see that. Bed where great. Nice and quiet hotel. Breakfast area was nice and clean. Breakfast was good nice and warm. Thank you and we'll be back soon.!
The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast is always very good. There is a nice selection and the food is very tasty. It is one of the best breakfasts I've had a hotel. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. I stay here every time I'm in Hereford.
The hotel is clean it's nice to stay in the rooms are very large parking is actually pretty good there even if you have a trailer what it is bad the breakfast is not that good so go get it somewhere else other than that it's good
Clean pleasant rooms with a nice central area. Close to food and gas. The clerks were very pleasant. We had a pet and she was very welcome. We arrived on a night during a horrible storm and were very relieved to be in such a welcoming place.
This Best Western is fantastic if you enjoy a thick aroma of cow dung and urine in the morning and night. This hotel has the feel of a stereo typical hooker hotel. After using my key card, I had to throw a shoulder into the door to get it open. I would recommend scanning the room with a black light before unpacking. The room was tidy with a nicely made bed but the furniture was stained and carpet a bit worn. The first generation flat screen TV is losing color and was pixilated. I slept on top of the bedding with my clothes on just as a protective barrier. The headboard that is attached to the wall was loose and would knock against the wall at the slightest movement of the bed. After experiencing the standard of living that this Best Western views as acceptable, I did not risk the breakfast for fear of needing a stomach pump afterwards. If you like living on the edge, this is the place for you and it's only about 30 miles off the beaten path of i40.
Great place to stay at. It is very affordable and well worth it for every penny you spend. Rooms are very nice and everyone you come across are all very friendly and the staff is great! I sure will be returning to this hotel!
I have stayed here more than once and each time gets better and better I appreciate the staff and all the great experiences and the free wifi and free breakfast in the morning only thing I dislike is that it doesn't have an I door pool but no biggie
Traveling from Utah back home to San Antonio on 4th July weekend and wanted to avoid big cities. As Best Western rewards members, I searched for a Best Western in the smaller towns in the Texas Panhandle. Found this one in Hereford. As this is an outside entry motel and my husband and I have difficulty with stairs, I requested a room on the first floor, close to front desk. Our request was granted. Room was very large and clean; although a little worn. Beds were very comfortable.
Overall this was a decent hotel stay. The staff is all friendly and helpful. The room is old and had a faint odor like it may have been a smoking room at some point in its life. The pool needed to be cleaned. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
This is a terrible place to stay. The air conditioner didn't work in our room. The grounds are dangerous. I was injured in a fall. When the manager was informed, he did not seem concerned and was defensive. Do not stay here.
Excellent staff. Walking distance to many venues. Great place. It was over 100 both days we were there and the air conditioning kept up in our room. Breakfast was an good assortment of food. I would stay again
Stayed here before and a relaxing place to watch TV, rest up and sleep. Always stop here on way to or from Colorado and Wyoming. Resturants nearby that are good and a huge mega truck stop across the street.
Not many options in Hereford so next time I will just make the drive back and forth from Amarillo. Noisy neighbors, dirty pool, showers didn't work properly, funky sewer smell, breakfast room and amount of food didn't accommodate the number of guests. No thanks.
This hotel is great, it was $100 LESS than the other hotel just down the street. The room was spotless clean with a nice bed and good pillows. Fast wireless internet and a new flat screen TV. Nice refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker are in the room as well.
Stayed twice at this location. First time I stayed 1 night and the room was pleasant, no issues and I had a restful sleep. Second time I stayed overnight the room had an awful odor, the wall outlet in the bathroom did not work so I could not use the hair dryer that is attached to the wall and the shower/tub did not drain well so you'll stand in mid calf of water.
The Staff really did a great job making sure my stay went well. They were extremely professional and thoughtful of the customers needs. I was greatly impressed with the rooms and facility. I would definitely stay there anytime I return. Great value.
This was a quiet stay with excellent service and location. The room was large and very well designed. We ate at a steak house very close to our room and also had excellent service there. I would recommend to others.
Great place to stay, the room was clean and the beds were comfy. We were passing through on the way to Houston and it was worth the savings over staying in Amarillo. It was nice to have a clean reasonably priced place to stay
Wonderful great confirmation staying good breakfast wonderful loving beds clean restroom good Cafe ready to come back again to this wonderful place over all the staff very kindly an wonderful hopefully
Great team players , very clean rooms . Awsome staff remodeled rooms , & great location from all eating places. General Mgr. very helpful and curtious. Had very great experience with our stay , looking forward to staying again in the near future.
We so loved our stay at this Hotel. I'm sorry we didn't get the name of the desk clerk that checked us in, she was great and so was the breakfast attendant. Everything was just so nice and clean. And the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast had everything you wanted. It was a perfect stay for us !
Nice clean room. Location is good. Rooms were quiet. Nice staff. I spend 280 nights a year in hotels. I'm not judging this hotel like a 5 star resort. Clean quiet and in good working order are important to me. This one was great for the price!
One of the worst places I've stayed in a long time. The property is old, run down, and in desperate need of renovation. When I checked in, there were a half dozen flies in the room. And, each evening when I returned, there would be more. Housekeeping was adequate, but as noted, would let flies in the room when they cleaned. Breakfast was acceptable. Yeah, I know its a small town. But that should not be an excuse for a name-brand hotel to be in this poor of condition.
The higher prices advertised seemed a bit high for this location. The hotel and room had a very clean appearance and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast time frame is 6-9 am. The truck parking is good and the facilities had a well maintained appearance.
The first room I was given, their was a load bussing noise even the cleaning lady heard it. It was very disturbing. I had to go back to the lobby and get assinged to a different room. The Phone did not work so I could not get a wakeup call. Also had to go back to lobby to get a Fly Swatter as their was a lot of Flies in the room. The staff seem to think that is normal and they had Fly Swatters handy. If you like Flies you will enjoy your stay!
I've come to trust the BW brand which always seems to be the most reasonable price for a nice, clean place to stay. The Hereford Red Carpet Inn is conveniently located to restaurants and the freeway. The staff was caring and helpful. Bring your earplugs. There is highway noise and a train nearby.
I have stayed at this hotel while we are in the area for a competition. At first, it was just about 3 colleges that stayed there but more and more have moved since it has great value. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good and it is affordable for my collegiate team.
We stayed one night, Oct 16, 2016, at the Best Western Red Carpet Inn, in Hereford, Texas. This was a mistake on our part! Our room was full of flies from the time we arrived until we left early the next morning. (The only reason we didn't leave as soon as we saw the room was because it was late and not being familiar with the area we chose not to risk trying to find another hotel!). When we called the front desk to report the fly situation, the clerk offered us a fly swatter (we found out later it was the only one on the property of 90 units). The clerk also informed us that she contacted housekeeping, they sprayed the room lightly because too much of the product they used could cause discomfort to the guests. Because of our concern about cleanliness, we elected to skip the morning breakfast. Our understanding of the hospitality industry is it that guests should get clean rooms with no risk to the guest's health. This was the worst overnight stay in any hotel/motel we have experienced.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful...will stay there again and will recommend this to anyone going through hereford...was satisfied with the breakfast and cleanliness of the room as well as the price of the room.
I chose to stay here due to the very reasonable price and the extremely great service from Ysenia from the moment I walked up to the front desk. She checked me into a large, clean and recently updated room. I was expecting a not so updated hotel. This was a great surprise. The room looked to have new carpet, a fresh paint job and updated furniture. It was clean in all ways. Even the TV remote was sanitized and bagged. The room had all the amenities you could want (hair dryer, iron and board, microwave and refrigerator) The breakfast had all the offerings you expect in a hotel breakfast, including some protein options, as well as a friendly attendant. If you need to stay in Hereford overnight, this is an excellent choice.
Hereford is not the garden spot of Texas, but if you find yourself there, this hotel provides clean room with great service. I have stayed many times and it's always a good experience. Breakfast is good, easy access from highway.
My family and I were happy to choose this facility and it worth to come back. The services are professional and the breakfast is decent, the room is clean. I recommend to choose this facilities for family traveling
These rooms are so large and comfortable, it's an easy place to spend time. Plenty of space and laid out so the bathroom/dressing area is private. All the rooms open toward the grassy courtyard area, and have a back door for the parking. I like ground floor rooms - my vehicle is right by the door for easy loading/unloading and I take my dogs out the front door to the courtyard. It's relatively quiet and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is not a modern-styled hotel. It is showing its age a bit. No elevators to the second floor. All rooms have exterior access. But our rooms were clean, we had three. Air conditioning worked well. Beds were comfortable and the shower was fine. Free breakfast in the morning was good as well. We enjoyed the pool, which is outdoors. Nice place.
Was tired of staying in overpriced Interstate hotels in Amarillo and Lubbock. Hereford is a nice town and this hotel was a perfect fit for me. Convenient, nice, clean, cool room and great price value. Will stay here again.
My wife and I were travelling to share in a retirement of a beloved friend. I am stricken with arthritis and it is hard for me to walk long distances and especially hard for me to climb stairs. Therefore I always (and did this time too) ask for a room on the first floor and nearest to the main entrance. This hotel claims to be remodeled and updated. I made a reservation for three nights. On our arrival and upon checking in, we were given a room in a back building, (This is not one hotel, but a cluster of buildings) on the far end to the second floor. I told the clerk that in my reservation I had asked for a room on the first floor. She had to go back and look, and then said "yeah, but we don't got none." Being late, and having driven all day, I took the room. We got to our room and had to walk up a steep set of crumbling concrete steps. We parked under our room, walked the length of the building and up the stairs, and then back the length of the building. In the room we found that the bed was against one wall, and the electric outlets were against the opposite wall. There were lamps next to the bed and they were attached to the wall about 5 feet above the floor and two feet from the bed. There was a table and chairs for you to set at and setup your laptop, but alas, there were no electric outlets to plug into. We had to move the table over next to the TV to plug in our laptop. We found that the outlets were loose in the wall box, sliding back and forth with you tried to plug in. The next day I went to the office to see about moving to a first floor. There were two women checking in and were given rooms directly across from the office on the first floor. The clerk (the same one that checked me in the night before) was manning the desk. As she checked these two women in and gave them rooms on the first floor, she was told that there were two more women coming and would she give them adjoining rooms and she happily agreed. When I stepped up and made my request to move, I was told again that the hotel was full. Hmmm Of other note, my wife and I both found that while taking a shower, the temperature of the water would fluctuate between ice cold and very hot. While showering, the handle on the hot water came loose and you had to fight to control the flow of water. Also, the pictures show nice comfortable rooms with nigh upholstered chairs to sit in. That must have been in the rooms on the first floor. There was a family of flies living in the room as well. This is one place I would encourage everyone to stay away from. I know I will never go back. In some instances, it looked like rooms were being rented by the hour. It appeared that the only improvements were a fresh coat of paint and a new carpet.
Friendly Staff, Nice, Clean and Cold room for 70 Dollars. We went to holiday Inn first and their rate was Two and Half times more than we paid here at Best Western. Exterior looks old but Rooms are renovated and super clean. Our family had really good fun at Pool area and Breakfast has lot of options as well. Definitely stay here again.
To have really nice clean accommodation in small town this would be the perfect example. My room was super clean. The lady who handled the breakfast buffet went out of her way to be helpful and very pleasant. Internet was really fast.
Friendly and helpful staff. Reasonable rates, clean rooms, comfortable beds and good breakfast. Everything you need especially after 14 hours on the road. Location was close to eateries, convenient stores and gas. Be warned, outside air smells of manure, no fault of the hotel; just dairy farm country!
Got a late start so just stopped....what an awesome find. Staff is wonderful (check out the Texas shaped waffles). Room was super big and roomy, beds very comfortable. And the price was appropiate for the area. Will stop again!!!!
Wanted to avoid Amarillo traffic & go further west. All rooms in Canyon were full so we went on the Hereford. Pleasant enough hotel. When we checked in they only had one (smoking) room available. Reluctantly, we decided to stay. Room was evidently "smoke bombed" because it was not altogether unpleasant. Overall, a pleasant stay.
This place is so fly infested. I should of known better to give it a chance. As I was checking in a man walked in to complained that his room was still dirty and beds not made. When I asked for the hotel to work with me and refund my card and clerk said all hotels in Hereford are fly infested. So not true. Lesson learned you get what you pay for.
I found bed bugs in my room after waking up to itchy bites. This was my first time staying here and it was only out of necessity and I will not be staying here again. I simply refuse to stay at a place that does not do frequent thorough checks for any kind of insect.
After traveling far we looked forward to our room...when we got there it was dirty and we had blood on our pillow..very disappointed in that best western..the same tissues were next to computer as we checked out as when we checked in..the Chinese resteraunt next door was nice...bed was comfortable..a.c worked good..
We booked this hotel directly from the hotel and got a much better rate than any of the discount sites we visited first!!! When we checked in we had a really sweet friendly girl help us! She gave us a room but finding out it was on the side where we had to walk around to the other side of the hotel from where we had to park we went back in and asked if we could possibly get a room where we could park right in front of our door since we had so much to carry, she was very sweet in finding us a very nice room. While waiting on her to figure out what was available I noticed on the wall the had TripAdvisor and a 8.6 rating and a sign which said (I believe these were the words or it meant this) "Striving for a 10"! I determined I would rate them as I often do fill out ratings on TripAdvisor. We just got in our room and was so excited we got a great room and the phone in the room rang and it was the sweet girl at the front desk asking if our room was ok and to please call if we needed anything! We were so pleased with the hospitality they extended we definitely will stay here again next time we come. We came for our former Pastors 50th wedding anniversary! We rate them a 10!!!! ......the room was great with beautiful carpet, nice comfy bed and fridge and microwave! What more could we ask for!
Spacious rooms and clean. Refrigerator in room and free WiFi. Nice breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Only downfall was the pool was closed but then did re-open. There was some trash that other travelers left. We stayed over Memorial Weekend and the hotel was sold out.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was top notch clean and accommodating. The internet service was fast and met my business needs. I was amazed at how comfortable the bed was , Overall this was an excellent experience for my first time ever staying at a Best Western.
Great staff clean rooms free WiFi free breakfast washers and dryers on site with refrigerator and microwave pet friendly as well with a pool and free parking as well icem machinea nd vending machines as well
Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean but a little dated. Room had a front door that opened to the courtyard and a back door that opened to the parking lot. There are some permanent guests at this hotel that like to BBQ, drink beer and get loud in the courtyard but once 10pm hits they get real quite.
Working in this area and stayed here overnight. This is a very nice hotel in Hereford. It appears to be an older hotel, but is kept well. Our room was very clean and large and the beds were comfy. The hotel has doors that open to the outside, in fact our room had 2, one for the parking side and 1 for the courtyard / pool side. I missed the breakfast hours & went to office looking for coffee & was told they didn't have any. But that worked out ok, there was a coffee maker in the room and I had milk in the frig. I will definitely stay here again when working in the area. Super nice staff.
First of all, don't EVER go to Hereford TX, the Hereford Capital Of The World.... or so their slogan is. This is a nasty dirty stinky industrial town that has little in the way of accommodations at all so the BW Red Carpet is not much to brag about but it does offer a bed & a breakfast. Such is life!
My spuse and I visited Hereford end of January 2016 for funeral, and stayed at the Best Western Red Carpet Inn in Hereford on recommendation of friends. Hotel is right on the main intersection on the south side of town and easy to find. We booked a single non-smoking king room. Upon check-in, we were given a second floor corner room. Friends of ours stayed in a ground floor room. PROS: - Reasonable rates. - Room is clean and spacious with a desk area, flat screen TV and large closet area next to bathroom. - Comfortable beds and pillows. - Separate vanity/mirror area across from closet outside bathroom. - Free WiFi in room. - Good continental buffet breakfast with coffee, hot tea, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffle and bread selections,bacon/sausage and scrambled eggs. - Rooms seem to be well insulated with little noise, except for the nearby train tracks. - Hotel staff was very helpful and courteous. - Being Jan, pool was not open, but pool was located in center courtyard area. - Plenty of parking spaces near rooms were available. - NOTE: Rooms on the ground floor appear to have parking lot side doors. Second floor rooms all have inner courtyard doors only. CONS: - Hotel did not appear to have elevator access to second floor. - Light sleepers, be prepared for the trains overnight, as this hotel is located near train tracks. - Anyone visiting this area, be prepared for the wind blowing across the flat terrain! Conclusion: When we return to visit the nearby Palo Duro Canyon State Park ( http://palodurocanyon.com/ ) with our family in the future, we will definitely stay here!
I could not believe this hotel and i love how this is so pretty here and how a lot of people are in this hotel there is probaly only about 10 people that live there or stay but anyways it is a awesome place to stay or live i dont think u will get tried of this place.
The desk clerks were very friendly and got us registered quickly. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the room. There were no stains on the floors or walls. Breakfast had lots of good choices. I stayed for three days and enjoyed all of my time there. The housekeeping staff was great.
I stayed her for 5 nights for work, I made reservations over the phone and when I arrived I was in my room within five minutes. I had single King bed room, it was spacious and clean. It looked like newer carpeting, and newer painted walls. The bathrooms was average sized but was clean with plenty of hot water. It featured a nice sized flat screen and good channel selection. A separate desk and chairs and strong wifi. The bed was comfy along with the pillows. The room was decently quite but I was in a room facing the highway with lots of cattle truck traffic, it was a bit noisy at times but the heater/fan helped drown at the noise. Breakfast selection was great, cereal, pastries, breads and bagels, yogurt along with hot food such as bacon, sausage, eggs and biscuits and gravy. The hotel also featured a side lot with plenty of parking for larger trucks or vehicles with trailers. The hotel was also located closely to several places to eat. I would stay here again.
Great place to stay for business or pleasure. The staff was very friendly and the rooms clean and quiet. This motel has the best breakfast items. This motel is centrally located for business or dining.
Clean, comfortable beds, internet, big truck parking, Fast and friendly service. Breakfast has good selection. And what I liked best its Located walking distance to a few favorite restaurant's. Its been by far the best value for my buck. I recommend it!
This hotel needs work badly. We stopped in a snow storm Saturday night and about 11 pm tje wind started really bad we had to out towels up around the door because snow was blowing in. You could see daylight through the door and there was such a bad whistle it kept us up, and the toilet was loose and everytime you would sit down it would hit the wall. It also ran all night. The bed was comfortable though. I don't think I would stay again. I called the next morning amd o ly got a " I can move you to another room". No we went on to the next town
As usual when I come to this hotel I'm greeted by friendly people who remember my name give me good service reminding me of what they have available in amenities. There is always good porking good clean rooms close by restaurants and you can feel safe
Good rooms. Updated decor. Good breakfast. Hotel was helpful when we needed to add a room upon arrival. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food. Check in and out were both efficient. Will continue to stay there.
I've stayed here several times and have given a previous positive review. This is the first time my wife accompanied me. She's not used to staying in any hotels other than Marriot or Sheraton normally but she trusted me on this one. We stayed on a Saturday night after a family event in Amarillo and she slept for 10 hours, not normal at all, and was so enthusiastic the next day she urged me to do my second review on this hotel to brag on how good the bed was and how restful our night was. I usually stay here on busy weekdays and it's the same. Good job owner's and staff.
There are not too many options for a place to stay in Hereford, Texas. This Best Western lives up to the franchises quality standard...which I have found to be good to very good. Much cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express down the road (our stay was $85.00 for 1 night, 2 queen beds, H I E was $125.00 for the same). The room was clean, nice beds, flat screen tv, remodeled bathroom and dressing area. A good breakfast, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, Texas shaped make your own waffles (how could you not love that!), and the usual cereal, juice, toast, bagels, coffee, tea and milk. What more do you need? Yes the train goes by and you hear it toot toot but I brought my travel size sound machine (only $13 at Bed Bath & Beyond, a life saver) and slept well. If you are staying one or two nights this motel will serve you well.
Had a good sleep but the place needs some Maintenace. I came down to visit some friends here in the Hereford/canyon area. I had previously stayed at the best western in canyon and was pretty satisfied with everything about that one so I gave the one here in Hereford a try. My stay wasn't too bad. The rooms were big and the beds were great. the place just needs to wash their carpets and needs some Maintenace. The one in canyon was way better kept but had to come down to Hereford to see some other friends and wanted to stay in town so I was forced to stay at this one to avoid the drive. Stay was great, place just needs some work that's all.
This motel is about 30 miles South of Amarillo and a lot cheaper than staying in Amarillo itself. Having stayed there I can see why. The motel is situated on a main road and right next to a railroad track and grain factory so quite noisy. The surrounding area is not very picturesque to say the least. Our room although spacious was badly in need of refurbishment. Not thermostatic mixer on the shower, the bed looked a bit saggy ( but was comfortable) and the wallpaper border was torn and missing in places. The complimentary breakfast was very basic. On the plus side, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Overall, our experiance was good. The room was clean and spacious but on the first day we noticed an unpleasant odor which probably eminated from the a/c. It seemed to disappear or we got used to it and didn't report it. The breakfast was typical but was good quality of both food and the eating area. The bed was great and we slept very well. Be aware of the proximity to the rail road tracks nearby and avoid a room on the tracks side of the motel if you are sensitive to train noise. We were not bothered at all by the noise and kept the a/c fan on during the night.
The motel is in an area with grain silos and cattle but don't let that discourage you. Although it doesn't look great from the road, it's very nice inside. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and pillows, table and chairs and an easy chair. The bathroom area has two generous granite counters and the shower/bath sports a huge shower head and good water pressure. The refrig. hums a bit but the fan covers the the hum without being too loud. Breakfast has a full offering of hot and cold food cooked well. There is seating for 17 guests but no one was there when we were at 7am. If you need dinner, there is a Mac Donalds close by. We were on our way to AZ and were pleased with this stay.
Even though our room was the closest to the highway, we slept peacefully all night. The ladies at the desk were extremely nice and helpful. When I told them I could not open the door to our room, Priscilla came right over, without waiting to be asked, and gave the necessary assistance. The room was beautifully updated with new carpet, paint, granite countes, fixtures and bed. The price was reasonable. We have a reservation for 9/5 on our return trip.
This is a very good option if business takes you to this part of the country. The property is convenient, clean and accommodating. Pets are welcome and the room noise is minimal. Not a vacation spot but can be a very good over night spot when traveling through.
