Hotel Statt Hassleholm, BW Signature Collection

Stayed in a very nice room with good space and a comfortable bed. Breakfast is excellent, especially after a night with no sleep. The weather was warm do it was necessary to open the windows to stay cool. Unfortunately there was a party outside the window - all night! Even the smoking smells entered the room. Room cleaning is not standard! must be ordered even it is already paid for.

Great place! Great service! Great location! Great food! Great staff! Great conference all in all! I would strongly recommend this hotell for conferences.

When staying in Sweden , I prefer to choose Statt HOtel in Hassleholm as I love their breakfasts and it is really convenient for train connection in the morning

"Stadshotell" (City hotel) in Swedish cities started to emerge with the industrialism and the railroad some 100 years ago. Often big and centrally positioned in small to medium sized towns. As time has evolved, many have disappeared but some has been revived - often driven within a franchise of the big hotel chains. Statt Hässleholm (statt = short for stadshotell) I must say is one of the best within this league! Renovated, clean and fresh it was a pleasure to spend a couple of nights here. Hässleholm is not a big town, but Statt has in any case a prime position at the grand square, just a 100 yards from the train station. It's imposing front facade dominates the square. Nice reception in the lobby. Large breakfast/dining/bar room (se my separate review of Statt Lobbybaren) and two elevators leading to the five floors. Very fresh an nicely decorated room. Bathroom almost luxurious. Nice amenities. And - and I must emphasize - the bed was one of the best hotel beds I have slept in! High quality beds and high quality sleep! Large screen TV of course, but no AC (table fan provided) and no fridge. The latter is a pity, because a fridge is always very useful for a hotel guest, even if it's not pre-stocked with beveridges. So, that is a recommendation for an upgrade. Breakfast had a wider range than expected - almost extensive. Clearly a notch or two over the average. Many, many choices to satisfy a hungry and demanding guest. Great! On the whole a prime experience. Shows just how fine you can take care of and maintain an old "grand hotel" in a modern and sustainable way! Recommended!

The reception was very friendly. The room was comfortably furnished and had a great bathroom. The WiFi was very fast and reliable. The breakfast was one of the best I've had on my many overnight stays in Sweden. All in all, it was a nice stay. Thanks

Staff was friendly and always ready to assist. Room was comfortable and quiet with good WiFi. The breakfast selection was great, definitely something for everyone. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious, although the menu is rather limited.

So stylish refurbished and perfect. Has everything you need. Fresh and clean, good shower and breakfast. Internet works. Sauna and gym is small and simple but it does exist. Nice lobby restaurant and the Bishop Arms pub next doors.

I just stayed for one day so I didn't use al the facilities but al the staff that I met vas kind and pleasent. I didn't like the juice, to chemical for me. I didn't like that it was no parking according to the hotel as I got some vallue in the car and cant bring it al up to the room.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, generous breakfast buffet. There are not too many hotel options in town and this two-day stay fit the bill nicely. We did encounter excess noise from the hosted, corporate holiday parties over the Christmas season but the staff gladly relocated us to a quieter room in the hotel. Nice place to stay and convenient to shops.

Very good hotel, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with good quality stuff. Staff was helpful and nice, train station is extremely close to hotel. I also liked each small details of the furnishing in the room, little bit of Sweden everywhere

Only stayed one night, but what a classy friendly hotel. Nice room with super comfy beds and bedding. Updated TV systems, and good WiFi. Breakfast was great! Remember this is a small town, so you must book a taxi they will not be at the train station or hotel in a line up. Very short walk from train station and nice shops and restaurants close by. I will stay here again. The desk staff were so very kind, have a coffee or tea it is cold out. PS you must visit Hovdala Slott.

Had a great ”before party” with old friends at this great place in my hometown. Delicious food, great personnel with a service mindset. Couldnt have been better! I can recomend the the København platter as a maincourse, really worth its while.

We unexpectedly found ourselves in Hassleholm over night. We hopped off the train and walked one block to Hotel Statt. The price was excellent for what we got. Check-in was quick and easy. The rooms were newly remodeled. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The room was a bit warm but there was a fan and we were very comfortable. It included breakfast, which had many choices and an excellent expresso machine.

After being held up by the swedish rail system my friend and I were stranded in Hassleholm. We came to this hotel by the rail station and were put in one of the last rooms that evening. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were immaculate. Breakfast was excellent the following morning, and wifi was usable as well. Totally would recommend staying here again.

The Hotel is situated just a 3 minutes walk away from the railway station. The staff at the reception was friendly and efficient. My single room was small, clean and functional. The newly refurbished spacious bathroom presented the typical swedish walk in shower and a heated towel rail. WIFI worked ok. Breakfast as usual. Nothing special, a hotel like many others. Don't count on the so called fitness room, it's not in a good shape. The food in the restaurant did not convince us, a group of 50 people. Even though we booked the food in advance, the service couldn't cope, neither with serving the drinks. The Pub next door is definitely the better option.

The public areas of the hotel seem to be renovated while the rooms - at least the one I had - are really old. My single bed room was very dark with very bad lighting. Breakfast was ok Gym in a cellar room, sauna without any place to rest afterwards.

We stayed at Statt two nights in connection with a family event. Because of roadwork it was impossible to drive to the hotel. We had to stop in a street close by and walk the last piece. The hotel did not have any free guest parking. We were sent to a public parking garage where the hotel had three fields. We had to pay 240,- SEK for two days parking. The first impression of the rooms was good. We had a Deluxe room. The bathroom was nice and the room felt clean. The first disappointment was the bed's. It was two single beds where you can adjust the hardness of the mattress. This was definitely great when the bed was new. It was still working, but the mattress was now longer flat. The mattress slanted towards one side and when the bed only was 75 centimetres wide it started to look like an interesting night. We arrived on a Friday evening and it was some kind of “city festival” in the town square where the hotel is located. We were so lucky that the started to set up a bouncy castle and a carousel just outside our window at 5 a.m. At this point we understood that there is no soundproofing towards the street. When they started up the air compressor for the bouncy castle there was no more sleep. The bathroom and the shower was very nice and there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was also excellent with lots to choose from. The second night the bouncy castle and a carousel was gone and we got a good night sleep.

I stay at Statt a few days every week. This is the only hotel close to the town center that is at least decent. Things that I am not satisfied with: -fire alarm is triggered falsely very often -the ventilation in the bathrooms is too weak. It takes a long time before you can see yourself in the mirror after a shower because of the steam -poor cleaning. I left the "please clean my room" sing on the door one morning because I saw dust on the wardrobe shelf where I wanted to put my clothes. When I returned in the evening it was still dusty. -small beds Good things: +The staff are very friendly and helpful +excellent location

Close to train station. Very good breakfast. Refurbished bit some while ago. Choose for dinning inside hotel or outside with number of restaurants just in downtown. It is more bout practical stay close to Hässleholm and not choosing long travel from other hotel

Seems the take profit they are basically the only hotel in town. Good location straight in the centre and only 200 meters from the train station, spacious and clean room but in my view some renewing are needed, also in the common area
