We stayed many BW across the western US. This BW was disappointing for the following reasons. Price of stay changed. I booked the national number and was told one price. I informed them we had small dog. The person said $15 per night charge for the dog. I booked using points. Total cost was $205 for 2 nights plus use of the points. At check in we were charged $30 per night for our small dog. The staff seemed to have a “who cares” attitude about increase cost our stay. Further the carpet was dirty. The security lock on the door was broken. Actually part of it was not on the door. AAA rating of 2.5 stars is a better gauge of the overall quality of the room. One should bring a power strip if one needs to change more than one device. Electrical outlets are slim. Lighting in parking areas was not the best. Other BWs where we stayed overall were much better than this BW.
The bed was very comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great. You had a large selection for breakfast. There's no way to go away hungry. The hotel is beautiful. The location of the hotel is great in town. You can't go wrong staying here.
Great stay at a price that makes this a good value. Clean, convenient, with a friendly and helpful staff.
This is a okay hotel for such a small town. But the staff is not kind, unfriendly and if you ask them for help it's as if they are being bothered by all customers. Breakfast wasn't the best, coffee machine was broke, one morning there was no eggs and that is the only thing I can eat in the mornings. We sit in the dark in the mornings because the staff will make you wait till the last moment to start eating, so she will not turn the lights on till it's time, so several that morning were standing around in the dark. My wife called me one evening at the hotel because my cell phone was having issues, and the front desk told her I wasn't staying there, there was nobody by the last name staying in the hotel and had a rude tone doing it. This staff needs to learn customer service joy.
nice hotel, large clean room, good breakfast selection, the desk clerk put us near the end of the hotel at my request since we were travelling with a pet so we had close quarters to the pet area outside.
This Best Western was one of the nicest, friendliest I have ever stayed at. The rooms and facility was very clean, even after a big snow storm and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Great room!! Great location right on 54. Let us get an early check in when we stopped because of a snow storm on 11/25/23. Comfortable bed. Great check in employee. Clean, large room. Expensive pet fees. Pool area hot tub jets not working so was out of service. Thin walls/floors. Nice breakfast bar.
This hotel is in a perfect location right on Highway 54. We stay there often when traveling to and from Arizona. Front desk staff is very friendly. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of options and they are pet friendly. Rooms are nice and clean.
Our group of hunters have stayed here many times-always clean, always comfortable, always good breakfast.Check in is quick and easy. Hot tub is nice after walking miles chasing birds.Greensburg is a small town and choices few but this place is a great choice
Everything at this hotel was fabulous! Everything from the super clean, spacious, comfortable room to the friendly staff to wonderful value to the made to order omelette was FABULOUS. Highly recommended!
A surprisingly nice hotel in the middle of nowhere… clean, comfortable, nice! If you're looking to stay in the middle of KS this would be a good start. The only downside is lack of outside amenities…. Highly recommend.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, very clean property. Nice landscaping. Good location. Bed comfortable. Shower stall slippery but had good grab bar. Rooms are nice. Breakfast was very good. Indoor pool looks very nice. I would stay here again.
Very friendly check in person! Slight smoke smell in a/c. we cleaned the filters and it got better. This is 100% non-smoking hotel. It's not possible to know what guests do in the room, but cleaning or changing the filters would help. Insufficient lighting in a rather nice room. The satellite tv could pick up nothing for an hour or two. I was informed it's because of a thunderstorm (that had not yet started) and that it happens whenever there is a storm. One washcloth had been used, apparently to wipe up something. The thermostat was unduly complex. It was a programmable model with 4 time ranges and a setting for each. The built-in delay between changing a setting and hearing a response from the unit made it impossible to tell if the manual setting was doing anything, so I programmed all 4 time ranges with the temperature we wanted. Trains nearby were loud, and went by at 6:30am and 7:30am (we were gone after that). If you like getting an early start, then this wouldn't bother you. Fortunately, we were getting up at 6:30 anyway! Breakfast was free, good, and well tended.
PEE SOAKED BED pull out couch was SOPPING WET with urine My grandmother is a business owner who winters in Arizona. Every year she stops at this hotel both ways on her drive down from Minnesota. I am accompanying her to assist on her trip home tonight and was planning to sleep on the pull out couch. We reserved our room this morning ahead of time and arrived around 10:30 pm. After 13 hours of car travel we are exhausted. Opening up the pull out couch I first noticed something like pieces of tree bark on the sheets, and then found when I went to wipe them off that the sheets weren't dry. Then further realized they were outright wet. Sniff test confirmed the comically absurd and horrible fact that the sheets were soaked through into the mattress with pee. We called in the front desk woman who was helpful but not apologetic. She was ready to just give me new sheets and have me sleep on that mattress until I pointed out that it too was wet and stank. I am so exhausted that I just decided to not be difficult and just put the sheets on the dry but stiff adjacent part of the couch that doesn't fold up. My grandmother, who has been a habitually loyal customer for probably a decade, left the room to ask if they could reduce the bill. Now a man who was either the manager or owner was involved and when she explained our situation to him she was yelled at, threatened with being asked to leave, and accused of dirtying the bed herself as a scam. When she said that accusation was insulting she was called names. At this time it's reached about 11:30 and she is rationally scared enough about being unable to find another place to sleep that she just walked back to her room with some meager new bedding and hoped nobody came to remove us. This has been a dehumanizing and inhumane experience and she won't come back.
This hotel is amazing. I can't remember the last time I was this impressed with a hotel. Spotlessly clean, with a brand new feel. The indoor pool was loaded with live plants like a haven, there an outdoor gazebo with a sitting area and park style grill and it all super reasonably priced! Cool little town to boot!
Staff is friendly and location is good, that is where the good ended. The room was less than clean. There was long black hair all over the bathroom and black lint all over the bed. The worst part was the noise. It sounded like the window was not closed and you could hear every truck going by on the highway, which is right outside the front door, like it was in the room. My neighbor was also kind enough to keep his TV loud enough that I could hear all the dialog on his favorite shows until a little after 3 am. I tried calling the front desk but was put in a queue for 10 minutes and decided getting more irritated was not going to help me sleep and gave up.
This was the perfect hotel in the middle of nowhere to rest your road-weary eyes. Our room was clean, everything worked, beds were decently comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Glad we chose to stop here because 54 is a rough highway at night!
We have stayed here several times traveling from IA to AZ. It is an extra clean well managed motel. Everyone is helpful & professional. Excellent breakfast. We like every thing about it except it is even more pricey this year. But seems everything is more expensive this year so if you are okay with the price it's a really nice motel & we recommend it.
Spacious room. Very clean. King room has a refrigerator, coffee making facilities and was very comfortable. Bed was comfy and enough pillows. Be prepared to faintly hear the first train pass by around 6ish in the morning Like an alarm clock. I liked the little touches they had in the room. For example the bed side lamps had a lever switch so one didn't have to grapple around looking for the switch under the lampshade.the shower stall was wonderful as the faucet was at the other end of the shower. So you could comfortably adjust the temperature without getting wet or shocked from wrong temperature. Very spacious closet with ample hangers. The famous Big Well is nearby too. For environmentalists, this hotel is a fully certified green building. Breakfast was ample with a variety of choices. Soy milk option was available as well.
This hotel is just okay, and one of few options in a small town of just about 800 residents. Pluses: pet-friendly and super helpful staff. It had a nice indoor pool and hot tub. There is a nice park nearby for walking dogs. Negatives: there is a lot of road noise, even from the back of the hotel. Rooms are dark and outdated. Ours had an overpowering smell of disinfectant. The microwave is ancient and sounds like a jet engine. The AC was also very loud. The shower has recently been remodeled, which was attractive though the floor was very slippery and no mat was provided. I understand that there are not a lot of options for lodging in this rural area, but we will not be coming back.
Top notch service from staff and owner. Comfort was excellent. Exceeded all expectations. Love the clean feeling inside and out and loved the fresh smell in the lobby, hall and our room. Having the owner cook us custom omelets on Sat AM and talking with us for about 10 min was a pure delight. We both slept well on the mattress. We loved the furniture, the design and the decor.
Like so many other reviews our experience was outstanding. Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, clean rooms and everything was in working order. Highly recommend this hotel when in the Greensberg area.
We are diamond members of the Best Western rewards club. This particular hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and everything about the place was pleasant. Recommend this hotel Breakfast was.fresh. Pool area very clean
Clean, newer, well cared for hotel. Friendliness, pride in their hotel, quiet, good location, concern for guest preferences- I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Only wish I could have stayed longer!
This beautiful hotel sits in bucolic Greensburg, KS, on Route 54 and is a great stopping place to see the heart of Kansas. The staff was exceptionally kind to weary travelers. The hotel is modern and beautifully appointed with a pool available for a respite. I will definitely add it to my places to stay on return trips to the area.
I drive from Santa Fe to Wichita several times a year and Greensburg is my oasis! This hotel is always well kept and dependable. Staff is great and helpful. I love getting there after a long drive and taking a walk around this charming town. Microwave and refrigerator are a plus!
We pulled in to a very nice looking building and grounds. The hotel looks new, neat and tidy. Check in was quick and we were in our room. Clean clean clean everywhere. Amazing to have such a beautiful hotel in an almost rural setting with this small town hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I come back this way.
Very clean hotel! Greensburg is a charming town. Tesla Destination Chargers at the Well Museum are within walking distance of Best Western, or you can borrow a bike from the museum to go back and forth
Great hotel with indoor pool, fitness room and free breakfast. Not just your average continental breakfast either. They have a waffle machine, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuts, muffins, pastries, juice, cereal, toast, etc. Loved the coffee machine that let you make lattes, etc. Delicious.
Easy check-in at the end of a very long day was greatly appreciated. I will stay here again the next time I come through the area. Everyone I spoke to from the hotel was pleasant and knowledgeable. Thank you
Awesome stuff. Great service. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you to the stuff specially Mr.Roy for helping with the internet service. Enjoy my stay and will be coming back all the time.Cozy and wonderful.
Outstanding hotel for such a small town. Very clean and well kept. Indoor pool is very nice, and the breakfast area was clean and well maintained. Parking lot is well lit with plenty of cameras if you are concerned about theft.
We drive to and from Arizona on Highway 54 on a regular basis and this is always a good stopping point for us. Good location, clean rooms. good breakfast and friendly staff. I was disappointed to learn that they will no longer be a pet friendly hotel after May 1st.
This was a pleasant lovely surprise. Staff was friendly, room was large and clean, breakfast was good. Very nice for a very small town. There was also a good place to walk my dog and it was well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.
Traveling during a move across country, stayed at this hotel because there was no other option in town and we were tired. Left early and forgot a hoodie. Staff was unwilling to mail it at my expense. Also, stepped on jaggy material on floor so not well vacuumed. Bed was springy.
After a day of pounding down the road dealing with the stress of passing one vehicle after another all day long it was great to find a place that was so accommodating and friendly, a place to unwind and get ready for the next day I am not a seasoned traveler and don't like living out of a suitcase but this place made it a lot more bearable!
About a month ago property was sold to a new owner. While checking in I was informed hotel no longer accepts CLC (corporate lodging) No problem, I work for a major trucking company and we simply email or fax a corporate credit card to the hotel for payment. This wasn't good enough for this guy, He wanted a drivers license, Stating he didn't want to get burned on incidentals. I tried to explain we can't charge incidentals on that card, that I have stayed at numerous hotels with no issues. I explained I was tired and out of hours to drive as a truck driver. I was willing to give him my driver's license, The owner would have none of it; He was rude and condescending towards me even flashing his own brand new owners Best Western credit card in my face. With a wave of his hand (not kidding) he informed me he would not give me a place to sleep. The fact is he didn't need a DL for the credit card, he was just being difficult. To the owner, “ You got a lot to learn about customer service and running a hotel.”
I have driven past this hotel many times since it was built, but never at a time that I've needed to stop. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It was lovely interior and lobby space, the rooms were very clean and well appointed. The lighting in the bathroom was good as compared to many hotels that I've stayed in. The sink drained properly which most of the time they don't. The room was very homey and comfortable. It was so nice to come to a hotel where staff is pleasant and efficient after driving for 14 hours! Breakfast service was excellent - there was an attendant on site to bring fresh food out as supply got low. Good selection and a nice coffee selection and ice tea brewer. I would rearrange my driving trip just to stay here again!
Spent the night on return from vacation. Greensburg is an example of a small town doing its best to recover from a devastating tornado in 2007. This motel exemplifies that optimism with first class rooms and amenities, with a good breakfast and good hearted staff with a can-do attitude.
Breakfast promised was enticing, but in actuality, disappointing! Altho' we still had 1/2 hour til closed, all cooked foods were hardly warm! Not just unappetizing, UNSAFE! Eggs, sausage, gravy... nope! You cannot even microwave them long enough to undo the risk! Weekday, so maybe understaffed? Banana, yogurt & fruit juice only real options. Wanted a refund... A dear friend was there in Sept., & the food-guy (weekend) offered to prepare another version of eggs if s/he wanted, wow! Room was clean & safe, both important!
Beds were fantastic! Room was clean, spacious, well-equipped. AC worked great. TV worked great. Fridge, microwave, desk, lots of amenities. Great breakfast with waffles, biscuits & gravy. Pool & hot tub were very clean, very pleasant area with live plants & good lighting. Visited as a couple with our 26 year old son & 9 year old grandson, & all were happy with this hotel.
Our family had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and courteous, the facility was clean and well stocked. The kids loved the pool area, the rooms were clean, we had plenty of hot water and the breakfast was very good and a nice selection. If we come back to Greensburg we will definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nigh Watchman Inn and Suites. The facility was very clean and up to date. At many locations during our trip, breakfast was spotty or non-existent due to COVID concerns, but we enjoyed a full and complete hot breakfast at Greensburg. We'll definitely keep this facility on our list if we pass this way again.
I was impressed by the care taken to ensure TV remotes were sanitized. The check-out process was quick and simple. It was a great place to stay on our driving trip from Missouri to Nevada. Good value for a clean and comfortable pet unit.
The entire hotel was very clean including our room. The staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was sort of a concerned to us was that there was hardly ever anyone at the front desk. You needed to ring a bell to bring someone from behind a closed door come out and help you. Not a big deal, but we though anyone could just walk in and wonder the hotel premises.
Clean, good wifi, free breakfast, and a pool - so good stop for families traveling cross country. Front desk was very nice and checked us in quickly. Was loud in the hallway, bed and pillows could use upgrade, and the air conditioner kept me up.
Easy to find on the west side of town. Everything was in working order, very clean, plenty of parking, very quiet, great service. The city of Greensburg also deserves applause for the remarkable recovery from their past tornado. Today, it's one of the most "Greenest" towns in the U.S.. And the hotel does it's part as well.
This hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing. I have a lot of food allergies and they have Soy milk for breakfast. They do allow pets, but they need a few rooms set aside that are pet free. This is the nicest hotel in the area and we always enjoy our stay here. Fast and efficient check in and check out.
Dogs barking off and for two hours during the evening. People very loud in the hall ways and rooms next door at 11:00 pm. We did not sleep well. On the bright side the breakfast was very good along with the cook that made it.
Was traveling home alone and staff made the stay a lot easier. The facility was clean friendly, inviting. Loved the walk in shower. Didn't have to climb over a tub. Free WiFi. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities you could ask for. Breakfast was good many different items to choose from.
Awesome hotel for our overnight stay. The front desk person was very helpful and welcomining. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Perfect location for our weekend trip of exploring central western Kansas.
Clean, typical Best Western. This is definitely the best place to stay if you find yourself in Greensburg, KS. I believe there was only one other hotel and it looked very sketchy. Enjoyed the coffee machine with the mocha option - probably my favorite thing. The beds were okay - not the best but not horrible either. The staff was super friendly.
Stayed 1 night passing thru. After a very long day on a Harley, Lisa @ the front desk was THE NICEST! We were so lucky to have the hot tub & pool area open to relax for a few minutes. Lisa was also very helpful... I forgot to pack hairspray & toothpaste...she had it! Restaurants are a little slim in this tiny town that was flattened by a tornado a few years ago. But this motel was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN... bed comfy! If we have the occasion to pass thru again, I hope Lisa will be working the front desk for our stay. Thank you!
I was very happy with my stay in this very clean and friendly motel BUT was most concerned that the hostess did not wear a mask. The purpose of masks with Covid 19 is to protect others from the wearer of the mask not so much to protect the wearer of the mask although also important.
This property is very nice and very clean. We were traveling through and didn't spend much time there but the staff was professional and polite and the room was very nice. We would definitely stay there again.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Pleasant stay. Will do it again. Celebrating my son's birthday and he was very happy with the experience. Hot tub chemicals were a little strong. Eyes burned and we has to buy visine. Other wise would have been 5 stars all the way around!
The room was a bit loud, but not too bad. Room was extremely clean, new, comfortable and the staff was very good. Breakfast was well stocked. Glad we chose to stay here rather then driving to the next big town.
You won't regret staying here! This small motel is exceptionally clean and well-kept. There is a very nice hottub and salt water pool to ease your muscles after hours in the car!. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The hot breakfast was as good as we have gotten at other motels. Friendly staff. (The next time we come through Greensburg we will allow a little time to explore this little town of 1000... the town was rebuilt after a 2007 tornado destroyed 95% of the town.)
Clean & very nice place, employees very friendly & helpful. Breakfast area clean & well stocked. This looks like a fairly new motel, they're pet friendly. We would recommend it & would stay again. We read that this town was pretty much wiped out by a tornado 8 or 9 years ago. At first look the town appeared kind of small, but we found everything we needed & would stay there again. There is a Subway across the street from the motel that was a good. There's also a set-down restaurant in town but we didn't check it out. One of the gas stations has an attached grocery store - not just what you usually find at gas stations, it's a small real grocery store.
We only stayed one night. The pool area is very nice. Great breakfast selection. My only complaint is that this is a dog friendly hotel, which I usually don't book as I question the cleanliness of the rooms. Our room was fine, but my daugher's room smelt like dog feces. Beds were comfortable and room was comfortable and well decorated.
Only one other choice of a place to stay in Greensburg and it looks like a motel dive; so you gotta pick this place. Kinda pricey but they got ya!! Good breakfast, comfy bed. Hate the small bathroom with sink/toilet/tub all together ..that's an awful layout!!
I stayed 1 night in the newly built best western in Greensburg , but never again. Their walls are so thin I could the TV's in both rooms on each side of my room, and could my neighbor snore all night in next room. nice hotel but not built with any sound barriers between rooms. The rooms above when people walk sound like a herd of cattle on a stampede .
Soundproofing of room is poor but fortunately the patrons generally seem to be quiet. We were concerned initially as we could clearly hear the conversation of the person in the adjoining room talking on the phone, and folks in the hallway but by late evening all was quiet and sleep was undisturbed. Hotel is clean and the breakfast bar offers a good greek yogurt and almond milk option for non dairy folks. The breakfast sweet rolls a step above other hotels offerings in our opinion. The rest of the offerings same as one finds elsewhere, biscuit/gravu, bacon, cheese omelets etc. No hard boiled eggs though. Waffles and cold cereal also available. Fresh fruit etc. Overall, good place to stop for the night if you are traveling along US54. Visit the Crazy Mule for dinner (closed on Monday's).....go back to the light in "downtown"
Come early for breakfast, as they appear to run out of hot items early. Room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the the hot water and water pressure. Staff was very friendly. The towels could have been softer.
It is an experience to visit Greensburg. The town has been rebuilt after a terrible tornado. The hotel is in walking distance to the many interesting things to see. I really enjoyed the salt water pool! No other hotel has this! You will feel clean and refreshed after a swim! This hotel has the best value in the area. Clean and modern and friendly! Try it!
Great stopover, both location and facility, between Colorado and Arkansas.. Would highly recommend it for a family trip, or for business travel in this portion of the United States. My heartfelt thanks to the staff.
Greenburgh Kansas I would highly recommend this location to everyone. The staff were extremely welcoming, and friendly. The staff were also knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations. The room was very clean and organized. I would stay here again.
Very comfortable bed ! And beautiful decor , friendly place; we had a goodnight rest! Just loved it! Thankyou for the quality service Best western plus! We will always be looking for this hotel for more future traveling!
This place had real fancy, beautiful decor, with very nice and cozy rooms. Breakfast was fresh and hot and very yummy. It was quiet, staff is friendly and it was peaceful. We will stay here again. I'm very happy with this hotel.
Room was good, clean, and everything in working order. Breakfast was good, Wi-Fi was good. Thought the price was a little high for the area, but I'd recommend the hotel if in the area. There might be something better in Dodge City, but the whole town stinks from the feedlots and Greensburg doesn't smell. Walls are a touch thin in the hotel, so you can practically hear what people are saying if they talk loud.
It was interesting to walk through Greensburg which was leveled by an ef5 tornado in 2007. It was nice to see the new businesses and city and county buildings. Take a look at the pictures from the tornado damage and then walk the town. It is wonderful how the city has rebuilt.
We always use this hotel when we travel to our grandma's. It is a nice clean place everyone there is very friendly. The beds are very comfortable and it is pet friendly. My kids love the pool and Greensburg is a wonderful place to be
Staff was very nice. Room was clean, comfortable, & quiet. Pool & spa were enjoyable. Breakfast was good. Hotel is walking distance to town, market, and restaurants. I would have liked stronger water pressure & more light in room.
We needed a room that could accommodate our family (2 adults, 3 children) This hotel is modern and comfortable. Great suite, good price. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Good breakfast and friendly staff. We would stay here again.
the hotel is clean the layout in the king suite is great the bed is comfy love the couch. the pool is great the hot tub is huge. the staff is great i will go back made us feel at home we stayed for 3 nights. the breakfast was good. coffee all day
This is o e of the best hotels we found d while traveling. They have ample truck parking, the beds are comfortable, the room is clean and the breakfast is amazing. A little expensive for the area but worth it if you get more than just 8 hours there.
Exceptionally clean. Room had all the amenities one could want, and more than I ever expected. I didn't look around at all the amenities the hotel provided since I arrived late at night and left early in the morning, but according to their directory on the desk in my room, they had a very good selection. Fast friendly service.
We determined when your fine hotel was building that we would make a special effort to support your hotel and Greensville after the terrible Tornado that you all suffered. We hope ages 93 and 88 we can do so again.
The motel is still relatively new, showing no signs of a well worn place. The lobby was nice, as well as the free breakfast area. The room was very comfortable with a TV and fridge. The decor is a little on the dark side but since the room was clean and comfortable I guess that doesn't really matter. The staff were all friendly. The only negative comment is there wasn't any restaurants open at around 7 p.m. except a pizza place, although that is hardly the motels fault.
The hotel was very nice and comfortable. Good location and friendly staff. We had been travelling and were very tired and found this hotel and were glad that we stopped here. would recommend this hotel .
Breakfast was great. Bed felt broke down, uncomfortable. Pillows were small and uncomfortable. The hot tub was broke when we stayed. The staff was friendly. They charged our card without asking when we checked out.
The hotel was fantastic and a a very pleasant surprise. The attention to service and friendliness was that of a high end hotel which this is certainly not. Nothing fancy but incredibly friendly and helpful staff, great customer service, very clean hotel and rooms. Very convenient location. A tremendous value.
The hotel was one of the best ones that we stayed in during our 2 week cross country trip. The room was comfortable, the internet was fast, the breakfast selection and quality were excellent, and the pool area was amazing.
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and our room was clean and comfortable. Our kids had a blast swimming in the pool. Any other trips to Greensburg, we will be staying there again.
My brother-in-law passed away in Greensburg so we had to quickly pack up the car and head to Kansas to support our Sister-in-law. We spent two nights here and that was the only lucky thing for a sad event. As others have said, the rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff very accomadating. The owners were there every day making sure the guests were satisfied and the facility was top notch. We will stay here again on a future trip through Kansas.
I was tired and Needed to get a room right away with my dogs. I googled and found this one within the mile of me. I was so happy they took my dogs. It was late and I was tired. My pups had on diapers, and I did leave a clean room, only I didn't get a receipt nor get my pet deposit back. I am waiting . other than that, excellent..
the location worked out well for our Our needs near Greensburg, Kansas.. The Rooms are very clean and the staff is very accommodating. We recommend anyone traveling to consider this hotel. coffee and cookies are nice additional touch!!
Not only is this a great hotel, they accept dogs! It is very clean and well appointed. The staff, especially, Debby, goes out of her way to make sure you are welcome. If you are traveling this route, you can't go wrong.
I love this hotel and that is in in my town! the staff is amazing and very kind. The breakfast is amazing! The pool is very amazing and always great! The workout room is good but not the best Ive seen. But its better than nothing. The rooms are always clean and great.
We stopped here unexpectedly when a snowstorm hit. We were glad to get a room. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. My only complaint was with the noise. At 1:30 in the morning the people in the room next door were talking. Not screaming, just talking but I could hear every word. I didn't say anything about it. I don't know what anyone would have done about it. That was the only problem.
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at and it is in the little town of Greensburg! Newer hotel! Beautiful room! We stayed in king bed room on 2nd floor with elevator! Very clean and quiet! Pool and hot tub looked very nice. Typical breakfast but again clean and nice furnishings. Debby at front desk was super nice and helpful! We are traveling to Arizona and will definitely stop here again when driving through!!!
This hotel is fairly new and very comfortable. The desk person was very helpful, kind and efficient. This establishment has a full breakfast, indoor pool, and very nice rooms. Parking was very well lit. I will definitely stop here again.
This is a new, updated hotel that is clean and well kept. They have an indoor swimming pool and a great hot breakfast every morning! The rooms were big and the staff very helpful. It is located on the main highway.
'The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are large and comfortable. This is a pet friendly hotel and they are getting hard to find. We've stayed here lots of times and will continue to use this facility.
We have stayed here several times and have had a positive experience each and every time. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast room is spacious and nicely maintained during the service hours. They have eggs, hash browns, bacon, etc. if you want a hot meal -or- you can get a bowl of cereal, toast, etc. if you want something light and quick. Our room was clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable and my husband and I both had a good nights sleep. The front desk clerk was friendly and very welcoming, which is always a great way to start any hotel visit. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this BW to family, friends and fellow travelers. We will definitely stay here again.
We really like staying at the Night Watchman. It is easy off and on to Rt. 54. The rooms are clean and fresh and the help is very friendly. Breakfast is wonderful with sausage, potatoes, omelets, toast, waffles, fruit, etc.
Front desk staff went above and beyond to help us. Special handicap requirements for my mother. Very clean, great indoor pool, easy access off highway 54, hotel open, light and airy. Will stay again!!
Stayed at the Best Western Plus Night Watchman. Upon arrival found the exterior and interior lobby areas very nice. Pleasant young man at the desk. Checked into my room and had to immediately leave for a meeting. When I got back that evening and settled in found food crumbs on the bed side tables and desk along with water/can rings. Not a big deal, right? Just wiped them off with some Clorox wipes that I carry with me. Next morning, found hair in the shower which wasn't mind. Housekeeping could use a refresher course on thorough. That would make this facility go from an average rating to very good or excellent.
Greensburg is the halfway point for my dog and me on our annual trek to South Dakota for pheasant hunting. This is the second year I've stayed here both ways, four stays total. This hotel really caters to people traveling with their pets and it's nice. My room had a refrigerator and microwave and was on the first floor right next to the door to the pet relief area. There are vacant lots for parking large vehicles with trailers next to the hotel's parking lot. There are also wide quiet streets behind the hotel for a nice walk with a pet after they were couped up in the car all day. There is a pool and fitness center as well. The fitness center has a stationary bike and treadmill and a few pieces of strength equipment, but not free weights. The hotel is located just a block from Kiowa County Hospital. The breakfast bar has a good choice of hot and cold selections.
Very nice overnight visit. We have stayed here before and enjoyed the quiet and comfortable accommodations. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Modern and clean all around. Good value and a good location.
Best Western as a brand has really upped its game the last few years. This Best Western Plus was an excellent facility. Comfortable room, with an elevator to reach the second floor. I don't figure to find myself on US 54 highway or close to Greensburg, Kansas again, but if I am, I would stay here again.
Every time ,I go through the region I do no have doubt where to stay. Excellent staff. Mrs.Debby is awesome person. Very friendly and helpful. Mrs Esther, take care the breakfast,I do not have words to thank you for all your affection. Very clean hotel, outside and inside. Rooms spacious, clean, well decorated. Everything in the room worked. Large bathroom. Very peaceful. Breakfast amazing, with several items. Thanks again Mrs Esther. Pool and hot tub very clean. Rates with good prices. Stay
Very nice place as a stop over . We were trying to make it to Wichita Kansas but decided just too far. Saw the reviews on this and it was just what the weary traveler needed . Clean , friendly and relaxing . Try Reggies pizza down the road , looks like it may have just opened . Very nice clean place , looks like it may have just opened but pizza was very good and this is coming out of the mouth of a Chicagoan . All in all don't hesitate on this little town .
Clean, comfortable, highly recommended! There is not a lot of choice in this part of Kansas as far as hotels go. I was there for a wedding and was pleasantly surprise at how nice this hotel is. I have stayed at Best Westerns before and have never been disappointed. I would stay here again!
Staying at this hotel was a GREAT experience! The room was clean and comfortable with great amenities, the service was pleasant, the breakfast was the best we've seen in our travels (really!) and the bonus was the local artist pictures in the hotel. We wandered the hotel and enjoyed them all. There may be cheaper hotels, but if you are staying in Greensburg, we highly recommend this Best Western!
Our annual stay did not disappoint! Such a clean, quiet property. Always stay here on our annual trek from AZ to MN. Rooms are very well appointed and clean. Our request for an upper level end room is always granted. Can't ask for anything more!
Clean, modern, spacious & efficient. It was a late night check in without a reservation. I have no pets & don't smoke. Very accommodating. Attendant signed me up for BW Rewards for future hotel lodging.
I'm rating excellent not because of opulent luxury (although it is nice), and not because of its amazing location (although Greensburg IS a very special place). I'm rating excellent because of their consistency. The staff is always friendly, polite and accommodating. The facility is clean and comfortable. I travel through the area fairly often and will go out of my way and schedule around stopping there to rest. I've often recommended them to friends and family and will continue to do so.
We stayed one night here on 9/2/17. The entire place was very nice and clean. The pool was warm and the hot tub was awesome. Breakfast was good, pretty standard but good. Front desk was great and prompt to help us. No complaints here, will stay again when visiting the Greensburg area.
Just a really relaxed comfortable place. Nice little indoor pool with a tropical feel, nice art in lobby, staff was very kind, is on the main road so it is super easy to find, and it has plenty of parking. The best part was the breakfast was really good. It was not just the continental breakfast, but included eggs, bacon, etc. The staff were also really nice--especially a man named "David."
Very helpful staff, very comfortable room, and great experience staying there. Would recommend highly. The breakfast was great and the cleanliness of the lobby and breakfast area was very good. Also very easy access to the highway especially to Haviland.
Thank God there was this Best Western in town. Very clean and my room was comfy. You don't have a lot of choices here for motels so I was surprised the rates weren't higher. I had to leave before breakfast was ready but the breakfast area looked like it was going to be well stocked and good. They also have a "sundry" that you can get a late night snack to fix in your room if checking in late. The town kind of folds up early. Safe and well lit at night.
Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable has everything we needed. Town is very small but desk person helped us find a place for dinner. Breakfast was provided very early and was nice. Overall the hotel was well organized and very clean. Nice Pool. Location was easy to find.
Great local photos as artwork. My room was large clean and comfortable. It was over 100 degrees and the AC worked well. The breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Check out was fast and easy.
This was a very nice Hotel. The staff was very helpful in answering questions such as where and when the Museums were located and when they were open. He also gave us suggestions of where to eat. The room was very clean and efficient. Checkout was easy and the breakfast was excellent. There was a nice selection of foods to choose from. The biscuits and gravy was awesome. The hostess was constantly cleaning the area and serving additional foods. I would recommend this Hotel if you are going through Greensburg, Kansas.
When Greensburg, KS was hit by a tornado and much of the town was totally destroyed, they did not moan and say "Why us?" They came together and decided to rebuild the town and make it "green." You will see windmills. Go into a grocery store and notice that the lights get bright as you go down an isle and the fade to low as you leave. And if you need a motel for the night or for a week...BW Plus Night Watchman Inn & Suites cannot be beat! The staff really cares about your comfort. The decor is contemporary and relaxing at the same time and makes you feel pampered. They even have frozen meals you can purchase and heat in their breakfast area if you wish, rather than going out somewhere to eat. This is truly one of the best motels we have ever stayed in. Give it a try. You'll be glad you did. (And go visit that well if you have time!)
Fairly new motel. Clean with nice swimming pool and hot tub. Breakfast consisted of plenty of protein. Breakfast area got a little congested at times. I would stay there again. Warning! Don't smoke marijuana on the facilities. A customer was arrested when the desk clerk called police when she smelled the smoke. Maybe I'm just more tolerant than some. I'm sure the customer would have refrained had she simply told him he needed to put it out, since it is illegal in Kansas.
This is a great place, to stay, in "wind" country... From the heated pool, great room, awesome hot breakfast, as well as the nice people who work, there. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this facility, to anyone.
Check-in staff was very friendly, efficient, and helpful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nicely done with lots of options. On our morning, we had bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy as options along with the standard waffle, toast, pastry, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereal options. The gentleman overseeing the dining room/kitchen was very friendly.
Nice hotel in Greensburg, KS! We were touring Western KS for our family vacation and stayed here on the first night. Overall very nice. My only complaint was that our room was the closest to the lobby so I heard every bit of activity and it was a little hard for me to sleep. But to be fair, I am a light sleeper! The room was clean & comfortable, and the staff was great. We walked to Reggie's Pizza for dinner - I recommend it!
Very helpful and attentive receptionist. She went out of her way to make sure I was in the best room possible and upgraded me to a suite when she saw I was a Platinum member of the Best Western rewards program.
Clean comfortable hotel with modern decor, spacious rooms with everything you need to be comfortable, fabulous pool and hot tub , friendly and accommodating staff with delicious complimentary breakfast.
We were moving our dog up to Iowa as we are getting ready to move back permanently and so we have been in a lot of hotels over the last couple of years and this was, by far, the best stay we had. We get in late and leave early so we didn't get to use other services offered. We applaud the hotel for being clean and comfortable and a very good pet policy. Our room was inspected at checkout and since no pet damage we didn't pay extra. This is truly a "pets welcome" attitude and appreciated. Both staff members were professional but not stuffy or hard to approach. We will be staying here again and will seek out Best Westerns on our future travels.
Love that this hotel is in my town! Very good staff and service. The breakfast is hot and amazing! The rooms are great. Good internet connection speed and delivery. My whole family enjoyed it. The pool and hot tub were perfect temperatures!
We stayed there May 26 and 27. Our room was clan, well appointed with good working space, a chair and light for reading and good bedding. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. Our major complaint is that despite listing it on the menu of available channels, CNN and MSNBC were not available. This is a major drawback to me.
I experienced some of the following: hair in sink, broken shower, and noise in the room were just some of the problems. Overall it was not worth the money. Stay here at you own risk.I would not recommend this hotel. I was a rewards Best Western member, but I am no longer. That is how bad the Best Western chain has become.
Everything about the hotel was very nice for being in a small town. Beautiful lobby. Rooms were very roomy and super clean. Big Bathroom. Internet worked all the time we were there. Good Breakfast and the lady doing the Breakfast was super nice.
As a snowbird traveling through the plains, we've stayed at some minimal motels. We like Best Western when we can find them off the beaten track. What surprised me about this one was their dining area. We arrived around nine and there were people having soup and others heating up food in the microwave. This BW sells frozen items and keep their dining area open. They had a big pot of soup welcoming people in. And cookies of course. Their pool area was sculptural and it looked so inviting through the lobby windows How pretty. As with BW the rooms were comply and clean. I highly recommend it.
This was a very clean motel. Bed was comfortable. I was on the second floor and it was quiet. Will choose to stay here again if in the area. The breakfast was delicious. Eggs, bacon, cereal choices, bread options, even non dairy option!
Though this is a very small town, the hotel is big on amenities. The decor is very nice, rooms are clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool & hot tub. We like traveling this route and it's great that there's such a lovely hotel on our way to the SW. It's also wonderful that part of the hotel's energy consumption comes from clean quiet wind power.
Wonderful room! Perfect shower and lavatory! Wonderful staff! Excellent decor! MUCH better breakfast than many hotels! Great stay! I routed my trip for a return stay at this location! Highly recommend!
The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean. The ac worked and was quiet. The breakfast was hot, presented well, and was kept full. The walls semed vety thin- I could hear people in the next room carry on a basic concersation. I would stay there again.
This was our first stay at a Best Western anywhere. Greensburg is a neat little town. Sad what happened to them in the tornado ! The motel is very nice and the staff is great. The room was large and , nice and clean and it smells nice . The bathroom was a bit strange in the way it was designed . An overweight person might have problems with it. Great internet service and tv choices . Breakfast was very good . They had scrambled eggs and bacon and hash browns the day we were there. They do need to replace the beds in the room we were in. The beds squeak really bad and it was really annoying ! The noise from the highway and the trains bothered us because we dont hear that where we live. Otherwise this is a great place to stay. And it is the kind of place where you can go out for a walk and feel safe doing so.
This hotel is very new (post-Greensburg tornado) and very nice. Big room with fridge, microwave, big TV, desk, and large chair. Good A/C. Bathroom has shower only - no tub. I slept great on the king bed with multiple pillows. Nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. Great service, and a basement in case another tornado. A good breakfast is included.
I booked our room based on past reviews and was amazed at how incredible this place was!! It will be a definite stay on our way through between WI and AZ. We had a 1 bd, queen-size room.... spacious, loved the shower, very clean. The whole place is imacculate! Kendal, at the front desk, is very friendly...both on the phone and in person! He is an asset to the management staff. The town is quaint. We were amazed at the town's comeback considering the devastation of an F5 tornado in May of 2007. We walked the nearby streets and to the Crazy Mule restaurant on Main Street.
Check-in was easy the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and large very clean bathroom was very small but very clean and had nice towels. The hotel was very quiet and there was free breakfast. Breakfast was nothing special the usual free hotel breakfast but it was free and that is nice. The Internet kept going off and I had to sign and several times but other than that very pleasant one night stay.
good place to stay its a great place in a town that is trying to rebuild after the F5 twister a few years back . I try to always stay in room 106 it is down stairs close to the exit and inter no loud nose large room a nice suite
Loved staying here! My room was modern and clean. The bed was sooooo comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious AND they even had soy milk available. The "to go" bag with water, fruit, and a cereal bar was a nice touch too. For being in the middle of nowhere Kansas the town was also cute and not what I expected. I would have loved shopping there had I arrived earlier, or perhaps took in a movie at the theater.
Greensburg is very small, most remember it from a tornado in 2007 which wiped out 90% of the town. Now Greensburg has been impressively rebuilt with green structures and energy, great 400 seat state of the art 400 seat theater The Twilight, and this Best Western Plus hotel is the only major brand in town. It's a solid, clean property - good beds, great staff - a real asset for this community. And a good place to stop along US HWY 400 in SW Kansas.
I believe this is our 3rd year staying at this hotel while traveling between MN & AZ. I can't say enough good about it! Staff are great, beds are comfortable, rooms are quiet and clean. Best stay for us while making our yearly trek........
This is a tiny community we were visiting to check out the Big Well which we had seen in 1991 and wanted to see how the town fared after the tornado! No complaints and want to mention that the staff was incredible nice and thoughtful!
Trying to sleep under a pacing 1000-pound gorilla and next to a all-night TV watcher is no fun, but it is how I spent my stay at this motel. I've stayed here at least once before, but apparently was fortunate in not being placed next to anyone else, since I would have shared their expeirence.
All good at the Best Western in Greensburg, Kansas. Clean rooms, great breakfast & snack room. Central location for Dodge City, Hutchinson and Wichita. Recommended. Some people say price is high for rural location but I think it is a good value and I don't want to have a bad experience when traveling, worth the money for a good stay!
This was a great little hotel. Nicely designed and immaculate. Seemed very new, the staff was top notch. Everything was very clean and well cared for. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!
We wanted to see some football and we wanted to see smaller town Kansas. We found both in Greensburg, KS, home of the Kiowa County Mavericks. Our stay at the Best Western hotel in Greensburg could not have been more pleasant. From check-in to check-out, EVERYONE was kind and helpful. Our room was spacious (two-queen) and clean and comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to everyone.
Great experience! The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!! This is a great model of how hotels should operate. Thank you much for keeping your standards high. It's very nice to be able to check into a hotel and when you get to your room, you don't feel as if you need it to be cleaned before you relax. I have enjoyed my last few stays at Best Western and have definitely not been disappointed.
Great biker friendly place to stay! This was a good stop after a long day out on the road. The stay started off with Samantha checking us in. Samantha did a first class job to make sure we had the perfect room! We could see our bike from the room and we could also enter the hotel right by the room. She continued the exceptional service by by showing us menus from local restaurants. Thank you Samantha for a very good nights sleep! The pool and hot tub really hit the spot and are very relaxing after a days ride. Once awake the following morning we had a hot breakfast that was one of the best I have had in my travels. Again the service was excellent!!!!!!!!!!! One thing that stood out for me was the Gazebo at the far end of the hotel. This was where our room was and is a nice place to sit outside to relax. Also had a good time chatting with other guests. To sum up this hotel, it is very clean, safe, quiet and biker friendly! Ride safe...................Jeff
New hotel, well run, clean, and modern. Up to date styling. Very well done. Staff is friendly and polite. Features a salt water hot tub and a fresh water pool. Breakfast room is well stocked and manned each morning. Good selection. No need to find a breakfast place.
This a green hotel. Has a salt water pool. People are so friendly and helpful. Would not consider another hotel in 100 mile radius. I have been here 3 times and will be back again. The staff went out of their way to make this a pleasant experience for my daughter and I.
Beautiful clean facility. Check in was quick and friendly with David. Awesome room! Free cookies in evening along with open coffee bar AND ice tea. I took advantage of the hot tub, and was surprised to see towels on every chair in pool area. No need to hunt down someone to get me a towel. SALT WATER POOL!! No chlorine smell, and the indoor pool area was NOT stifling hot. In the morning I was amazed at the breakfast. Not only did they provide the usual fare of waffles, muffins, pastries and hot items like gravy, eggs, and bacon, their biscuits tasted FRESH cooked, SO FLUFFY! SHREDDED HASH BROWNS! Also there were fresh raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. The best thing about the breakfast was Ronnie, the cook, waitress and all around cheerful employee. She came by my table and asked if I needed coffee or juice and even took my dirty plate away!!! I fell in love with the pillow in my room and Debbie was happy to help me purchase one. Debbie also checked me out, explaining my bill and making sure my stay had been enjoyable. IT WAS PERFECT! I travel for my work and on average stay 150 to 200 nights a year in motels..this is in the top 5!
We often stay here on our return trip to Arkansas after "playing" in Colorado for a week or so. This motel does not disappoint. We like that we can purchase frozen meals for dinner rather than have to eat before we arrive or pull our "toys" and go out to eat.
I was very pleased with the helpfulness shown me- from the check-in to the floor cleaner to the breakfast server to the checkout staff. Everyone was cheerful & tried to find answers to my questions. They seemed like family friends.
Can't say enough good things about this place. On a two-week midwest vacation to visit family, I stayed in 11 hotels over 15 days. This one was by far the best and most memorable of the whole trip. My first stop late at night, the lady at the desk was so incredibly nice and the room was luxurious. She allowed me late night access to the hot tub which was greatly appreciated after driving for 10 achey hours.(no tub in room, but very fancy shower & I wanted to soak.) Breakfast was a delight, refilled and monitored by the sweetest attendant. (Fresh raspberries! ?And cheese slices for egg-a-muffins!? Who does that?) I would stay here again in a heartbeat! What. A. Gem.
The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great. Loved the walk in shower. The staff was friendly and more than ready to accommodate whatever need. The full breakfast was very tasty. I highly recommend this location.
Very cool new hotel with a saltwater pool and hottub. Well decorated and soft bed made it a comfortable stay. The showers are a half fixed door with no sustain. IE you can not close the shower when bathing. Not sure what that's about but it's the only drawback to this place.
My entire stay was above my expectations. Staff very friendly and courteous. Pool / Spa hours were very stingy. Very quiet and peaceful. Ample parking. Although breakfast was very good, i was disappointed there was no butter served. I can not use a spread on my English Muffing when the microwave will not melt it. Plastic utensils? This, in my opinion, was not even close to a BW Plus.
Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent and the hotel was very nice. Had a very good breakfast and would recommend the hotel to my friends and family. The hotel is well decorated with some outstanding photos taken by a local photographer.
Excellent service, very comfortable room. Employees pleasant and heipful. Breakfast very good, many choices. We stay at Best Western motels wherever they are available when we travel Every area of the motel was neat, and very clean. We had all the amenities we needed..
Minus the train (which you'll get anywhere in Kansas). This was a great experience. We arrived extremely late, received great rates, and fast and friendly service. There isn't much there since a tornado came through in 2010. A lot of the town wasn't rebuilt. We were very late but did not see a restaurant to stop and eat. We only saw 2 gas stations to fill up and grabbed snacks to get through the night there.
This hotel is an oasis, in the middle of our trip to AZ. They are pet friendly and it is extremely clean. Just wish other pet owners would feel the need to clean up after their dogs. The hotel provides bags for this purpose. Pet owners, if you want to travel with your pets, be responsible! I for one, don't want to loose this privilege at this nice hotel!
Everything from the friendly helpful staff to the excellently appointed and decorated rooms was awesome! If I could give it a higher rating I would!! The front desk clerk welcomed both you and your dog and seemed to truly enjoy helping. The breakfast buffet was absolutely wonderful and the breakfast hostess went out of her way to welcome you, help you and even brought refills of coffee and orange to your table. In addition to being dog friendly, it was dog welcoming which is rare! There is a small gazebo and grassy area behind the inn where you can walk your dog and barrels out for the dog waste. We truly enjoyed it here with the wonderful comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere! We will be back!
Great place to stay. Everything was very clean, Staff was very friendly. we enjoyed our stay. We will be sure to stay there again. There was additional parking for our fifth wheel, and semi truck which is great when traveling and don't want to set up your rig for a one night stay.
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room we stayed in. It was probably one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. A big thank you! The continental breakfast was fair but sufficient. We would definitely recommend staying here.
This is the second time we have stayed here at this hotel. We stay here when we come this way to visit family. It is clean, comfortable place with a friendly staff. The breakfast is good here with several choices. We will be staying here again.
Stayed for one night and was very pleased from the start. Susan welcomed us and she was so personable! The entire staff, cleaning, kitchen, and desk were just so friendly - made you feel so at home. Very nice clean room, comfy bed - only thing we were surprised to here voices from the next room. Breakfast was wonderful -coffee very good! Would stay here again.
This has to be the most friendly hotel anywhere. Clean, comfortable, awesome breakfast. Can't say enough good about this place. By far the best on our weeklong trip across the Southwest. Ample parking with a trailer in tow. Reception was great and she referred us to a little bar/restaurant close by for dinner.
The hotel staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and comfortable. The location was a short 25 minutes to our destination so this was very convenient. It's wonderful to see that Greensburg bounced back so well after such a terrible tragedy.
After spending ten days at a BW in El Cajon, this Best Western was affordable, cheap and what I expected. The beds were comfortable, the amenities working and evehthing was right. This is a BW I would recommend to anyoneloooking ti stay
Clean! Newer. Walk in shower. $103. Well decorated. Friendly staff. Sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy. Stayed on a Thurs nite. Awesome, easy check out. Located on West side of town. Beautiful pool. Good fresh baked cookies. Reasonably priced spas vending machines.
This was the second stay at Greensburg. Still great place to stay. Great place for pheasant hunters. They have good place for you to clean birds.Weekend breakfast guy is a hoot with great service. Great Staff !!
This is a beautiful hotel in Greensburg. We enjoyed our stay very much. We didn't feel like going out for supper but they had a little freezer in the lobby so we bought frozen dinners for $3 each. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely will stop again.
This is a great hotel! It if very clean and well managed. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The rooms were clean and very nice! Breakfast was great and had multiple options. My family has gluten and dairy allergies so it was nice to have options that weren't just a cereal or some form of bread. All of the staff members that we dealt with were very nice and accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone!
Super accommodations and staff...... would recommend this to any traveler. Staff very helpful! Staff shared the towns history and offered many dining options and were quick to make sure that we received our loyalty credit for the stay.
We were pleasantly suprised to find this excellent place to stay. This is a small town, but this hotel gave us a BIG city feel. It was excellent. We would recomment this all travelers. You will not be disappointed.
We always stay at this hotel when going to Wichita, Kansas. The staff are very friendly, the hotel is "green" and the food and accommodations are wonderful. The best are the best I have slept in at a hotel. Nice pool, fitness center and great breakfast bar.
It's extremely clean, well maintained and smells nice. Not like curry or heavy cleaning materials. The beds and bedding are very comfortable and while the hotel is busy it is quiet. Great place to stay for singles and families.
After a long day of driving from the southwest toward Kansas City, we look forward to making it to this spot! After driving past several questionable hotels and motels, it is great to know this spot is up the road and we have a reservation. It is very clean, has nice décor, great tv/movie choices, and comfy beds! There are basic food items for purchase is you arrive late and need a snack or a Dillion's grocery is just a block away. I left my favorite memory foam pillow in the room, but guess what, they called me and when I ask what it would cost to have it mailed to my home - they said they would pay the shipping!! Now that is amazing!!!! That is the way to run a business! Thank you Best Western/Night Watchman!
Everything was like brand new. Classy decor. Friendly staff. Very clean. Good WiFi. Good hot breakfast bar. Price was in line with the quality of service. We were very happy with our experience! We will definitely stay here when we go thru again.
We were on our way home and planned to stop further down the road, but saw this motel and it looked nice so we decided to stop. Glad we did. The motel was clean, very modern, had nice big rooms and baths, very good breakfast, friendly staff., big hot tub, nice pool. This is a winner if you are in the area.
Really nice place to stay but if you arrive late make sure you eat somewhere first the number of eating places is limited in town. Clerks were pleasant and room was nice. Would stay here again when passing thru.
Had a little difficulty booking through the property, but once there we were very satisfied. Clean, nice little pool and hot-tub, and located on the main highway/street. Breakfast was good (I heard from wife) and we had a pet-friendly room where we could take the two dogs on quick walks at any time. Greensburg is trying really hard to comeback from the tornado that wiped out 95% of the town a few years ago, and this place helps.
I can't put into words how nice the stay was after driving almost 900 miles from phoenix, az.The lady at the Front desk was SUPER nice, sorry I didn't get your name! I HAVE to know, what type of king beds and pillows is used at this location? I just moved and am looking for a bed and the one I slept on here is going to be the one I buy. I originally was planning on stopping 100 miles previous to this hotel, after realizing I missed the last town I started looking for another best western. This one didn't even show up on my map so I had intentions on driving all the way to Wichita, mind you another 3 hours. When AT LAST I found this one standing there on the side of the road and I pulled in immediately. I'm only a gold member with Best Western but it's my go to hotel for travel and this location was worth while enough to make an account with trip advisor.
Needed a place to stay for the night. Called ahead and the front desk clerk Forrest was really nice on the phone. We told him we would not be there until midnight and he said no problem. When we arrived (at 12:05am) he was waiting at the front desk with a smile on his face. Check in went great. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Beautiful property and great staff. I would stay again!
