I stayed here recently on a wildflower trip and i admit i have stayed here before but this motel really deserves my writing about it as i consider it the best place in town. It has really nice clean rooms, a pool for the hotter months, the restaurant serves good quality dinners and a hearty breakfast. The thing i like most about Hospitality Inn Geraldton is that it is QUIET....well away from mainstream traffic which provides a great nights sleep after hours on the road, give it a try.

We stayed here and enjoyed the restaurant. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Easy to park outside and a comfortable room and good shower. Very pleasant staff and so helpful. Need to book in restaurant as they often get in tour groups.

I usually travel to Geraldton once per year on Social Business, & I ALWAYS stay at the Best Western Inn at Geraldton. True there are a lot of Motels/Inns in Geraldton, but BW is more than a touch above the rest. I am not the only one that enjoys staying there, there are many coaches/buses that also put their passengers into the BW. A Lovely Breakfast is usually included with my Senior Booking, & you cannot beat that.

I went to Geraldton to conduct Hospitality training at Geraldtons top establishment,they offered me accommodation however I was booked in to the Best western inn. I said I'd have a look first before committing.The room was clean spacious though dated in a bygone era masked with that industrial carpet cleaner odour.I asked for a table for 1 in the restaurant on a Monday night,they said they might be able to fit me in! Well what happened next really surprised me the service was excellent and the food was presented and cooked to perfection.Warmed fresh bread roll with piped butter,melt in the mouth ribs,and at last a chef who knows how to make an authentic Ceasar salad with fresh leaves.The restaurant was fully booked out by 8pm.I do not eat breakfast usually however I thought I'd give it a go and again was amazed to see an extensive selection for the continental breakfast, fresh pancake machine with maple syrup cinnamon sugar,and all the regular trimmings. On my next visit I would have no problems frequenting this establishment again.New German management classically trained I'm guessing! Well done to all the staff.

Friendly people at check-in. Good basic room, comfortable bed and good shower. We dined at the restaurant and were impressed with the fresh food. Had the complimentary breakfast the next morning - standard fare but most of the fruit (fresh and preserved) had run out and was not replenished at all. Most of the fresh bread for toast had similarly gone and was not replaced. The coffee was a self-service push-button machine and was predictably horrible. But it was all complimentary, and this is a rather minor grizzle that management could easily address. Overall would stay here again, but would probably skip the breakfast - or at least the coffee.

Hotel is in a central location, staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and had all the goodies. Comfortable bed and very quiet at night. The bar was well stocked and our meals in the restaurant were reasonably priced, well cooked and presented. We'll stay again next time we're up this way.

This property is well located in the Geraldton area. The rooms are clean and tidy and for the price you pay there is nothing wrong with them. Breakfast is included and has a range of continental items with others that you can pay extra for. plenty of parking AC in the rooms to heat or cool

We stayed on a journey up North and the motel was ideal. The rooms were slightly dated but very clean with comfortable beds and a decent TV with FOXTEL. The continental breakfast was plentiful and filled us up well ready for the next leg of the journey. There was an option to pay for a cooked breakfast if preferred but we did not opt for this. The location is easy to find off the highway and is only a 10 minute gentle stroll into the CBD which was handy for finding somewhere to eat (the motel does have its own restaurant but we decided to explore the town) and accessing the local shops. The only negative was the wifi which had a slightly intermittent connection but everything was very good otherwise.

Booked on our way down the highway. Reasonable room rate which included a continental breakfast for two. Free laundry facilities a bonus. Older place but returned and quite comfy with adequate facilities. Staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast in restaurant excellent .

We stayed here as a stopover on our way back to Perth from Exmouth. Didn't know beforehand about the complementary breakfast. Made it much easier to get back on the road the following morning. Our family room was one of the most spacious I've seen. There was some road noise during the night as our Pom was in the street front but it wasn't too much.

Hi Freckle F, Sorry that you got woken in the night but delighted to hear that you found the motel to your liking and that you enjoyed the complementary breakfast.

The Reception The hotel offers discount to over 55's. When we got to the hotel, the receptionist tried to pretend that she can't do anything with online booking as we have booked it full price. After checking my details when we unpacked in the room, i gave it another shot and tried to discuss it again. She then said she didn't realise what i meant at first. She then continued to say i got a better deal anyway as $159 was discounted. Luckily i did my homework and i told her that it wasn't so, as the discounted rate is stated $143. She carried on about something... Gosh already!!! The Room Towels was what didamiced first. All the towels were unbleached therefore instead of it being pure white and clean and smelling nice, they all looked grey or yellowish, like an off white colour with no fragrance from the usual detergent you smell. Likewise, the bedsheets were many to be white but was the same of white, dirty yellowish colour. It wasn't crisp and clean like it should be. Was abit skeptical, i must admit. The Bar There was no microwave although the booking details said there was meant to be one. Again, i rang the reception, and again the same person said there usually isn't one in the rooms and that she had given us the family room and... Blah blah blah... I thought in my head, why are there such good reviews for this place and that was the reason i chose to stay here in the first place. So she said she will check the store room if there's one, and if there's one, she will bring it to our room. Well, she did, but I had to clean the inside of it as it had splatter sauce stains and smelt like curry or some kind of food. So you can imagine what i am feeling by this stage. In all, i was quite disgusted by it all. The rooms look neat but not sure about the hygiene. On the second day i noticed the teaspoon on the teacups were unwashed. It had hardened up residue on the handle.... Arggg... I can only say i am glad i brought my antiseptic spray with me this trip. Breakfast At last, this was really quite nice. It was well presented and had a small healthy continental selection. If it wasn't for this area, i would have rated this hotel 1*star. Note to self: bring my own sheets and towels in future. ??

Stayed here overnight on drive down to Perth. Room and bathroom very clean, heating worked a treat and evening meal in restaurant was great. Chef was more than happy to accommodate a fussy teenager. Breakfast in the morning was a tasty continental selection. Would definitely stay here again

Very clean and tidy motel . Really helpful and friendly staff and managers. Rooms good size Good bathroom and large shower King size bed ,comfortable Breakfast include in price . Quiet location not far from the town centre. One small problem the toilet was hard up against one wall and you could not sit on it straight (poor plumbing when built) Recommend

Room was clean, beds comfy, parking outside the door. The food was excellent when it finally arrived. Highly recommend the red empower fish of the day. Perfectly cooked and so delicious. Ordering desert took a while as I was completely ignored and in the end I had to call for the waiter. I then waited for a very long time for desert to arrive. Just when I gave up and decided to forgo the desert it arrived as I was leaving the restaurant. I was offered if I would like to take it back to the room. I did. It was beautiful.

Great hotel in an easy location. Room was clean and well maintained. Had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant- enjoyed it thoroughly. Close to town so sightseeing and shopping all convenient. Would happily recommend.

Stayed here a couple of nights over the Easter long weekend and it was lovely. Comfy beds, spacious room. Good continental breakfast included with a pancake machine. Pool could have been a bit warmer.

Reception staff set the tone for a stay at a property and here the warm greeting was one of the best I've encountered. Even though I was early for check-in a room was immediately allocated. It turned out to be a disability room so that the bathroom was very spacious. The bedroom was very clean , had modern decor and all the amenities that one expects including free wi fi . The restaurant offers breakfast and dinner and with advance warning will do a packed lunch.The breakfast menu is extensive and when I finally got my order my selection was top notch - however a 30 minute wait was unacceptable .It turns out there was a problem with one of my items in the kitchen.It was the server's place to have informed me and to offer an alternative that was readily available.The location at the edge of town opposite the private hospital is great for those driving. A local bus stop is only metres from the property but does not operate during school pick up/drop off times.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night and had the shock of our lives: the room was so superficially cleaned that our daughter found a pill under the bed and almost swallowed it. We spend the „Mother's Day“ in the emergency room. The hotel staff was super unhelpful while we were running for the hospital „oh, such a poor baby“...

Drove 1000+km from Pannawonica for a Sunny Cowgirls concert & had booked accommodation here . Was definitely not disappointed . The shower was so refreshing after a long day on the road along with 1 of the most comfortable beds I've slept in . A definite must stay for anyone traveling through the area

The room was comfortable and spacious. Unlike many other hotels and motels, a full set of towels was provided for two people. The hotel contacted me the day before my arrival to confirm my booking. This was much appreciated. The buffet continental breakfast is very good, with a range of sweet and savoury choices. We liked the self-service pancake machine. Would definitely stay here again.

Let me preface this review by saying events were partly our fault. On checking in we discovered our 2 rooms were quite a distance apart. The explanation given was the fact that we had booked through a third party. Fair enough. When we entered our room it had an unpleasantly strong smell of some sort of cleaning product. On talking to the office staff they said one of the cleaners had been over zealous. The only spare rooms were more expensive and we were happy to pay the difference. Oh no. Because we had booked through a third party it was too tricky to do. So stuck in our room. Maybe they could have just given us the room seeing it wasn't being used. Won't be back.

Just stayed for one night whilst passing through. Room was big. Bed was comfy, staff were friendly. It's located about 1k from the center of Geraldton. It was quite despite being on a main road. We had a continental breakfast included which was simple but plenty of it. All in all ideal for a stop over and would stay there again.

The room is basic and it was ok for 1 night stop on the way to somewhere... The room rate includes breakfast which is good. You can eat at the restaurant in the motel or go to the town centre for more options - it's driving distance to the town centre.

Positives - good location, easy to find. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms adequate for a night stop. We haven't had time to use the pool but it looks clean and tidy. Restaurant serves excellent food! Negatives - walls are paper thin so if you need a good nights sleep ask for a room away from others. Would stay again with that one proviso.

Stayed here on a whim as we usually stay elsewhere and the service we received at the Carnarvon best western was incredible ! Staff were friendly and helpful rooms were bright and clean and most importantly stayed dark once blinds closed (good for little kids naps) room service was unbelievably good steaks were amazing and flavourful ! Checkout was a breeze and a friendly face was always at reception will be staying here regularly from now on !

I fell ill during my visit here, and the staff were very helpful supplying me with food and getting me medical assistance. As a result, I was well within 12 hours and was able to resume my trip. I am so grateful for their kindness and help. As I recovered, I was able to enjoy various tv shows in my room and to get my laundry done. Great hotel, with close access to the things to see in Geraldton: the HMAS Sydney Memorial, the awesome Geraldton Museum, etc.

I have stayed here from time to time over the years and have always been happy with the location, welcome, service and food. However the rooms were gloomy and badly dated & over the past few years I stayed elsewhere when in the area. I was pleasantly surprised to come back this time to recent renovations and my room was clean, bright and very pleasant indeed. Room rates were competitive and I liked the complimentary continental breakfast. From now on I will stay at the Best Western Hospitality Inn.

Stayed in this facility for one night. Thevreception staff was very friendly and courteous. We had a ground floor room and car can be parked right at the door step, making unloading and bringing the bags into the room a pain free process. Although dated, the room was reasonably large, as there were 3 of us, even with the roll on bed, there were still lots of room and the room was very clean Toilet was functional and water pressure was very good. Breakfast was provided, although basic, it was still pretty goid. They have cereals, bread, fruits, yogurt and a auto pancje machine serving piping hot pancakes at a push if a button. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Stayed for 2 nights. Upstairs room at the front. The rooms are well appointed with everything you need. It was clean enough. Close to town. The stairs outside were smelly from cigarettes and not clean. Parking gets full during the day because of the hospital. Reception and room cleaning was good. Overall it does the job but nothing to be enthusiastic about.

Only stayed here one night. Our room was prepared to high standard and had a nice smell when you walked in. Lots of hotels we have stayed in do not. The pool is great and the water was crystal clear and was big enough to have a descent swim. Had our evening meal in the on site restaurant and again the food was top notch, one of the best we have had in australia while traveling in WA. All the staff were friendly a helpful. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Plus it has free WiFi.

This place was cheap and the reviews seemed good so we decided to stay on a quick trip to Geraldton. This set me up for a fall as when i walked in, it was not good. So old and dated in the rooms. I felt instantly uncomfortable. The pool is magnificent and the best thing about the place if you can get over the room. Ordered some breakfast to our room which seemed to double in price on check out and the staff always seemed to have a lot of excuses for everything. This led me to believe they get many complaints to be so defensive. Was very happy to get home.

I stayed here 2 nights for work. It's an older style motel, but is clean enough (some mould in shower). Staff were super friendly and plenty of parking. The pool was clean and walking distance (25 mins) into town if you're keen.

We stayed for 1 night in a Triple room with a queen bed and single. First Impression as we entered the room was not too bad however the electronic keycard entry is frustrating! We noticed white linen which to us looks and feels clean and modern, the bathroom looked clean and was slightly modern. The rest of the room was clean and slightly modern. Large mini bar etc selection at a price. The bathroom was clean however we feel would be cold in Winter as the windows don't fully close there's a bad draft. Also the room we stayed in had a a large light outside the room and it constantly shone through the room all night.We weren't overly happy with the bed, felt small and the pillows were old and lumpy. Foxtel was great however the free wifi is not. We were entitled to a complimentary Continental Breakfast but we didn't have. Would stay again although not we will be trying somewhere different next time..... fingers crossed

We stayed here as stop over heading further North. Reception staff were super friendly & helpful. Room spacious & clean. It was quiet even though it was fully booked. Free breakfast was included but we didn't use as we left too early in morning.

We travelled to Geraldton to spend Christmas with my wife's family and as on previous occasions we stayed at the Best Western. As we were to check in on Christmas day after lunching with the family we received a text message to advise us how to obtain our key and later in the afternoon a staff member of the hotel called to offer us the option of room service dinner as the restaurant was closed that day. We were very pleasantly surprised, but then the level of communication from the hotel has always been excellent. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and had continental breakfast every morning. There is also the option of cooked breakfast which a number of fellow guests were having and all the food looked yummy. Continental breakfast included fresh fruit and yogurt as well as a variety of breads to toast and coffee and tea. A nice touch was the ham, salami and cheese which one normally finds at European hotel breakfasts. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole stay, as per previous stays, was most enjoyable and comfortable. This hotel is highly recommended.

First of all the location is excellent. We were driving north from Perth and the motel is clearly signed on the right hand side as you come into the town. The welcome at reception was good, friendly and informative. Parking is easy outside the room. It's a short and easy drive into the town centre and the seafront. The room was nicely furnished and finally we had a delicious continental buffet breakfast, which was really popular. A great stop for one night.

This Best Western is a classic "park-out-front" highway motel. The decor is dated but the bed was new enough to be comfortable. There is absolutely nothing memorable about this place (either good or bad) and thus it is an adequate stopping point on the way to somewhere better.

Room is very tidy and clean. Mini bar is filled with various food and drinks. Very nice service. I forgot to print out the paperwork need to be done tomorrow. The kindly receptionist help me with that immediately. And help me with my left behind bracelets.

This Hotel is Comfortable and well located, I have been staying here for many years now and it has always maintained its good service, the Restaurant is nice and the food for Dinner and Breakfast is always nice.

Located close to town this hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff helpful and polite. Little touches of hospitality include a biscuit to have with your coffee... a rarity in these days of cost cutting but one I really appeciate. Add this to the complimentary continental breakfast and this place is a winnner.

The last day of our road trip we stayed here! The night before we had stayed at Best Weston Carnarvon which was very tired decor! This place was clean and modern! Lovely meal in the evening, large dishes! Breakfast was the best on our weeks road trip!

We found the room very comfortable, the bed was great, the shower was good pressure, the breakfast was satisfying. The location was a good walk into town, which good after a day travelling. The staff were friendly.

Old buildings but pretty modern on the inside. Comfortable and spacious rooms with the bathroom recently renovated. Wifi a little slow but very friendly staff and good food in the restaurant. Would recommend for a short stay.

Nice room with facilities. Very easy to find on the main road into town, stayed in the block overlooking the road with no noise problems. Helpful staff, comfy bed and ideal spot in between Cervantes and Kalbarri.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Cockroaches were crawled out of the a/c unit and behind the tv and very poor pressure in the shower head. Had trouble with the tv connection. Continental breakfast was blah, but otherwise room was tidy, good location, clean sheets and nice minibar selection.

This is our 8th stay here as we used to come to Geraldton regularly when my daughter and her husband and family lived here. Everytime the staff have been extremely attentive and pleasant. I cannot fault the rooms, the shower was always hot and the bed always comfortable. The food in the restaurant was delicious. If up this way again, would definately book.

Just booked, got to the room and the key didn't work. My husband had to walk back over to get that working. Then we just get our stuff inside and the door closed and I said to my husband that I can smell smoke and he opens the door and there is this person sitting out the front door smoking. He asked them to move and of course they didn't like that.. then and hour later we just got everything sorted out because I am not a well person and we smell the smoke again which, all it is doing is making me sicker, I rang receptionist to inform her of this and all she could say that they can do that, I informed her that I was unwell and and with all my medical problems I was unable to move rooms like she suggested. I don't know why we had to move, once again I rented and non smoking room and every time someone lights up out side my room Is getting full of there smoke...just wondering want the law is on people smoking out side doors of motel rooms...

I stayed here for five nights during a business trip, and honestly couldn't fault it. The rooms are well equipped and nicely furnished. The restaurant is very nice and has a very tasty menu. But the thing that really makes this place is the service. Over the course of my stay, I dealt with several reception staff, wait staff, cleaners, and kitchen staff – and every single one them was a charm. They're all super helpful and willing to accommodate you in any way they can. But the thing I love is that they're really genuine people. It's not the kind of forced politeness that passes for service in so many places – this is the result of people who love what they do. You can't teach what this group of staff delivers. You have it, or you don't; and these guys have it in spades. Hats off to whoever handles their recruiting. I'm genuinely looking forward to my next stay.

The room was comfortable, the bed was great, the shower was good and hot. Plenty of hot water for a good long shower. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. First time to stay in Geraldton and if we go back, will surely stay here again.

I make a beeline here every time I am in Geraldton. Clean rooms, heating, ample lighting, two tables for work, power points, stocked minibar and great room service! Only real niggle tends to be basic toiletries. Parking is right outside your room. I do recommend the restaurant here, the food is quite good and service is prompt. Always recommended.

Easy stopover heading north. Clean comfy room with a good restaurant. Friendly staff. Food slightly pricy for the accommodation style and didn't need to be so fancy with the menu. Sometimes more is less.

Typical standard of Motel room, dated and noisy from the road traffic. Room service meal terrible. Eye fillet steak tough despite asking for medium, vegetables barely cooked and all cold. Check in staff friendly. Glad we aren't staying here on our way back to Perth.

After a drive from Mandurah, we stopped off here. A motel set up, with great staff. Easily accessible for the main road, with plenty of parking. Staff absolutely great. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well provisioned. Showers pin you to the wall! Very refreshing after a long drive. we ate in town, so can't comment on the evening meal, but breakfast was more than enough. Wifi worked great, just to tell the kids how much we were missing them (?!?!). All in all, a good place to stay.

Rooms are neat and comfortable with a well stocked minibar and a good selection of TV channels for kicking back. They also have a remote controlled split system to ensure a comfortable room temperature whatever the weather outside. Parking is right outside the front door and the complimentary continental breakfast offered between 7 and 9 am at the dining room is outstanding and in generous buffet style. The location of the motel itself is excellent given its not far from the main strip and is also close to the intersection of the two main highways that cross town. So a good launching pad for whatever direction you want to head off in. An easy place to stay

Stayed one night as a stopover before returning to Perth. Motel layout,rather dated but clean.Motel had a nice restaurant,staff very pleasant. Pool looked inviting but to cold to swim, clean and reasonable size. The inclusion of a continental breakfast made the stay worthwhile fresh fruit ,cereal ,pancakes and toast.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western when in Geraldton for a weekend sporting event, arriving Friday and departing Monday. The hotel was not overly busy, and the young lady who assisted us with check-in was very courteous and efficient.The rooms are nicely fitted out, being functional but still pleasant. The beds were comfortable and the carpets quite fresh. There was plenty of spare bedding in the cupboard, though the room was quite warm enough so we didn't need it. There is a good sized television with the Fox cable service available, and the free wifi worked well. The hotel location was good for us - it's about 1 km from the city centre - and there are convenience stores close at hand.The included continental breakfast was satisfactory, though coffee machine's offering wasn't drinkable and we took our own coffee for breakfast.

Stayed just one night on our return from Exmouth. Had 2 rooms as I was travelling with my husband and our son and his family. Best Western offered a great deal for seniors including free Foxtel and continental breakfast for all. Great breakfast including a pancake maker which the children loved and cold meats and cheese. Well presented and plenty of choices. Beds very comfortable and shower pressure strong.

We only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed it and will be back. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, very clean, had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in the price which was great. We loved it,our 5 and 8 year old loved it. We'll be back!

This is my second time staying here for work...was pleasantly surprised to find breakfast included in the price. A boom especially when starting the day way earlier than the dining room is open for breakfast. Room that I was in had been refurbished, clean and well looked after. The bed was exceptional....had a good night sleep each night. Very quiet. Food was good...though I did dine in my room. A couple of times the food arrived not as hot as I would have wished....but the overall presentation was excellent.

Great place to stay for a weekend away. Perfect location. Large, clean rooms that are well appointed. I highly recommend the apartment on the southern side of the complex. It's huge with lots of light and very quiet. The staff work hard to make your stay as good as possible. Wifi works well. Ample parking. Very competitive pricing.

Easy to find and within close proximity to what Geraldton has to offer. Priced reasonably and facilities very clean with very helpful staff. Bed was great and everything at your fingertips. Plenty of parking with the meals of very good quality

Stayed here overnight. Good location with a short drive into town. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable although the furnishings are starting to show their age. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. A reasonable menu to choose from and the wait not too long. The complimentary continental breakfast had a good choice to pick from. All the staff that we met were very friendly and cheerful. All in all a good 3 1/2* motel.

The accommodation is OK, what you expect from a BW, clean tidy, but showing its age. We ate at the restaurant twice, both left a fair bit to be desired. Despite having a booking for a large group, they did not have quite a few dishes and the wine that we were drinking. The meals were severed in an adhoc manner, such that those served first, despite waiting quite a while for others to be served, had finished their meals by the time later ones had received their meal. The 'sticky date pudding served the second evening was half the size, of the exact same dish served the prior evening.

Stopped at BW Gero on the way back to Perth from a northern trip. The check in was quick and friendly by Alex. The room was spotlessly clean and roomy enough. The hot shower was welcome after 7 days in the wilderness. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and it was as delicious. The staff at this motel were efficient and friendly - every single person we came into contact with including check-in and check-out staff, wait staff and cleaners. Well done!

Hotels are all about value for money whether cheap or expensive and this one delivers on everything. It was a stopover from Coral Bay to Perth so we just wanted a nice clean place for the night. Check in was quick and pleasant, very friendly staff. Hotel is Motel style so you can park in front of your room. Room was spacious and comfortable with everything you need. The check out was equally pleasant and quick. My only suggestion would be to put a real mixer/thermostatic tap in the shower as the system in place is maybe cheap but not easy to use. Apart from that great value for money

Last minute decision to stay in Geraldton on a driving holiday north over Easter and called on the off chance of a room and were happily surprised with what we got .. bed was super comfortable and shower just right ..

Stayed here many times but this last one wasn't good. Got upgraded but as far as I was concerned it was a downgrade, the self contained unit was old and musty smelling and the highway was right outside. Wasn't impressed.

Stayed in a family room (#15). Not massive room but adequate for family of 4. Bathroom modern & good shower. Hotel had free wifi & free breakfast included in our rate. Pool area was ok, too cold for me but my son enjoyed it but it's very much in the car park. On our way back we couldn't get booked in here so stayed at the Ibis, wow that was a disappointment compared to here. I'd stay here again, close to the town & no road noise issues.

My husband and I had dinner at the Emerald Room. We ordered the Pork Medallion. It came on a bed of mashed pumpkin. I asked for Salad insread annd it was no trouble to accommodate my request. Hubby and i were impressed. Such good presentation and a tasty meal.

Best Western has won my vote with consistency of rooms and good quality properties. Stayed at another Motel in Geraldton a few days earlier and this left if for dead with high quality service, good quiet rooms and great included continental breakfast. If all Best Western are of this standard then they are the way to go in future.

Hot water was warm at best. Room service menu had little variety ( all meat, which I don't eat) Would have been nice to have a microwave (so I could heat the babies bottles) although the staff were lovely, I Definitely won't be back...

Not exactly a review - more a HUGE thanks to wonderful reception staff who rescued a silly Englishwoman who thought it was a good idea to walk to Geraldton from Wandina in a temperature of 41C. I just managed to stagger into reception and they gave me air con, water and salt . Thanks a million Best Western. You deserve several stars!!

Very friendly staff, nice comfortable and clean rooms. Good meal or dinner and the included continental breakfast was very good. We stayed one night as we were travelling from NW Cape to Perth and were very pleased with this place.

Nice hotel, very clean with friendly staff. Great breakfast. Very good location, right on the connecting routes. Rooms are spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will recommend the breakfast.

Stayed here overnight on our way to Shark Bay. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Very handy for the restaurant where had our evening meal. The service was good and the meal was simply excellent. Compliments to the chef and all involved. We have stayed here before and have always found it a great place to stay. No hesitation in recommending it to friends and family.

My mother and I stayed for 2 nights in an apartment suite (2 bedrooms). Easily located as you enter town, the suite was clean and well appointed. Comfortable beds, good water pressure in shower and free wifi. Continental breakfast in the dining room was plenty for us. Room service was also good, with a steak cooked perfectly, arriving in good time and hot. Even though located on the main road into town, absolutely no traffic nose to speak of when inside. An outdoor setting to be able to sit outside and enjoy the lovely evenings we had would have been nice (although being open to the main road I realize this may be an issue with them "disappearing"!). I also had to move the lamp from the lounge into the second bedroom as there was no bedside lamp. All in all, a comfortable stay for a couple of nights.

After being booked in for emergency surgery we need a place to stay urgently and close to the hospital, the staff could not have been more helpful and allocated a large room with a very comfy queen bed, found extra pillows as my husband had to sleep upright, allowed us to extend day by day as we needed it. Fresh milk daily, free wifi, room service was great - highly recommend the crispy salmon- would definatly stay again and recommend

My husband, 15yo daughter and I stayed for two nights from September 30th: the room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The Inn was busy but noise was not an issue. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus and like a big kid I had fun using the automated pancake machine. The best quality about this accomodation was the staff, all helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

my wife and I try to get away for small trips and we find Best Western hotels a very good guaranteed chain of hotels, they are easy and efficient to book on line, and staff are always very helpful and cheerful.

We stayed at Best Western Geraldton on the recent long weekend, 25 Sept 2016 and found it to be as others have said. Room was spacious and modern, parking right at front door and staff helpful. My husband has a C-pak machine and it was quite tricky to plug in under the bedside table but staff advised next day that had I enquired I could have had an extension cord from the office. Only criticism is the toilet cubicle is very narrow so if you are of larger proportions you could find it difficult and while the bathroom layout in general was a very practical design, the water saving shower head is not the most pleasant. It is on the highway but noise was not a problem at all.

Easy to find, close to all amenities in the Geraldton CBD, great staff and in all a great place to stay. Why go past, make a booking, stay a while. Very relaxing after a long drive from either North or South.

I travel up to Geraldton every two months and I stay at the Best Western. Nice a quiet, close to all major shops etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable, good food and friendly service. Continental breakfast is included in the room. I would recommend the Best Western as a first choice when staying Geraldton.

Party of 9 pre booked for dinner at 6 pm, on arrival no-one else in dining room, order taken after 10 minutes, entree grudging served 55 minutes later, main course 35 minutes after that (several dinners were luke warm at best), and dessert arrived after we had been in restaurant more than 2 hours. All three courses were ordered at start of meal. We saw other patrons being turned away shortly after our arrival and being told to return 2 hours later - wisely they chose to eat elsewhere. Groups of 2 or 3 diners arrived after us, were served and completed meal before our main course was supplied. Complaints were met with indifference or excuses that people wanting room service had to be serviced.

Decent room with ok bed and Foxtel. Mini bar well stocked. Bathroom was recently renovated but like many hotels now has a water restrictive shower head meaning a weak shower. Near the main north south road but a drive required to go into town. Only disadvantage was the restaurant opens at 0700 meaning the business travellers who work or are visiting industrial sites have already left for the day.

We spent one night here. Comfortable bed; quiet; very good choice of continental breakfast provided in dining room. Car washing bay and free guest laundry which always appeals to the traveller. Clean. Pleasant staff. Would recommend.

I stay at the Best Western in Geraldton on all my Trips up North, usually 4 times a year, I have always found it to be Clean and Comfortable and works for me in that sense. The Restaurant always has a good selection for Breakfast and Dinner.

Recommended by a friend, I booked one night in a queen+single room. Price was very reasonable. Rooms are older in style but beds are comfortable, all the expected amenities are present and the rooms clearly receive a very good cleaning because there is very little visible wear. Continental breakfast was included in my room but check your booking. Was quite good and there were newspapers on hand which is always nice. Pool was empty and undergoing maintenance at the time, although it was too cold to want to swim anyway. Would definitely come again. Easily found by car and exactly what I wanted at a price I was very happy with.

the room was older motel style. the maintenance had been happening over time. at the time of our visits (2) in august they where doing a lot of work on the pool. we where able to park at the door which makes it very convenient. nothing was any trouble for staff at this property

Good set up, very comfortable bed, good shower, towels etc. Fridge with freezer to put our water bottles in, most necessary when travelling into the outback! Lovely breakfast set up and good food. Helpful staff.

Stayed here twice in the past month or so and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and fairly modern in a great location. The service was excellent on both occasions, meals and room service very quick and the food was tasty although just a bit overpriced. The pool was closed for renovations but it didn't matter as not warm enough to swim. Quiet, walking distance to town centre (5mins) and across the road from hospital, 15mins to the airport. All in all - value for money.

If you are after reasonably priced accommodation that is clean and comfortable you won't go wrong here. Rooms are not fancy but provide everything you need. The restaurant serves a good selection of tasty food. Staff were all very polite and helpful.

Small sites but then most are these days. Ground staff great and wI'll assist by backing you on three site with simple clear instructions. Jason even did a running repair for us, we'll done Jas. If you are a lane bowler then book for at least a week as comps are organised weekly right on site. Spud and filling for ten bucks twice a week slowly roasted beef with gravy a roll and potato and slaw 10 DOLLAR. WOW. Line dancing occurs one night during the week. All facilities are clean and up to date. The most expensive park in town by a couple of dollares or so,but it is the best .

I stayed here for one night. It's not too bad, I wouldn't recommend it for long stays, but if all you're doing is passing through its ok. Breakfast was of good standard and the kids liked the pancake machine.

No surprises here, room almost identical to the Carnarvon location. Except for the same price there was no complimentary continental breakfast. WiFi was limited to two devices. Room was clean, AC and heat worked well, cable package was good too. Our room at the back (25) was quiet. Just fine to crash for a night.

Have stayed at this establishment on several occasions, but this last stay just seemed to be a bit noisier than those in the past. Don't get me wrong, the rooms are clean and everything works, but the nights and mornings can become quite hectic with the coming and goings of a lot of workers. As usual, the food was great and the staff very pleasant and helpful.

After an 8 hour drive down we needed somewhere to stay and had stayed here before so thought we'd give it another try. Kelly at the front desk was very welcoming and more than helpful whenever we needed anything or called for room service.the rooms are quite modern and tidy as well. The pool is currently under renovation which didn't matter much being that it's in the middle of winter at the moment. All in all, nothing bad to say and would highly recommend!

I have stayed at the Best Western each time I have come to Geraldton on business. Each time I have experienced great service from the front desk, resteraunt and house keeping staff. The Inn is older on the outside but they have refurbished the rooms giving them a nice modern feel. Great Service ?? Cleanliness ?? Price?? We were very happy with the Best Westerns in both Geraldton and Carnarvon. both properties were clean and friendly and did little extra things like wash your windscreens in the morning. The breakfasts included were good value.

The room is clean and comfort. The food at the restaurant in the hotel is excellent the waitress also friendly and professional. The hotel also have the car wash bay. Wi fi is free. We are happy and the price also reasonable.

We spent two nights here, on the way to and from Perth on a road trip up the coast. The room we stayed in both times was large and comfortable. The hotel is obviously older but well-kept and clean. We slept especially well the first night. The second visit we were between two rooms of pretty loud folks and unfortunately we could hear them until rather late at night. But with ear plugs it wasn't so bad. The room has all the amenities you need--fridge and TV and coffee and tea. The wifi also works well. The staff at check in was pleasant and friendly. The location is convenient--right off the highway and a short drive to 'downtown.' This hotel was great if you don't need anything fancy and we were happy to have stayed there twice.

Stayed one night here on our way to Monkey Mia. The room is clean. Bathrooms were clean. Wifi was good. I would not eat here though only because its expensive. Luckily the town is just 5 minutes away.There are many choices by the waterfront. Its okay for just sleeping one night.

We have stayed here several times now, and will stay here again next time we're in town. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed and pillows comfortable with a good size TV you can watch while laying in bed. This is a must for us. The on site Restaurant is excellent, so we have breakfast there and sometimes an evening meal too. There is a nice pool for the hot weather. You do need a car to get to the centre of town, although it is only a short drive. Will stay here again

Check in was quick and easy staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with plenty of space. Bed was very comfortable room itself was what you would expect for a country motel.free wifi shops a short drive away.

We went there for a quick get away from Perth..the lady in the front desk looks grumpy and it doesn't look like we are welcome.. The cleaner doesnt look like she saw the dust in our bathroom especially in the sink area..i doubt if we will come back there again.

Revitalised motel just south of the city centre. Modern, extremely clean rooms, great wifi, flat screen TVs , all you coul need. Reception was very friendly & very informative, the resturant served great quality food at a good price, we had dinner & breakfast here & were pleased with both. They have a car washing bay, which is a good plus after travelling through the the red dust of WA. We are both just over 55 & they offer "seniors rates" for those our age or older, a good saving.

Overall, a good place to stay. Stayed 2 nights at Best Western Inn. The location was close enough to Central Geraldton town. Rooms are well presented, clean and surprising a bit bigger than I thought it was going to be. Car park was right in front of your room, very convenient.

As always am greeted very friendly on arrival this time by a lovely kiwi lady who was happy and smiling and made me feel happy to be there . Room very spacious and clean and tidy . Had there continental breakfast which was lovely and a good variety of food was available. The only thing that I can comment on was I wish in the room they had a few different herbal teas available but apart from that I always enjoy my stay there and would continue to stay there in the future.

Sort of old fashioned motel but good spot,The service was good, the room good, the sheets good, the breakfast good , apart from the coach driver who decided to idle his noisy vehicle for half an hour to clear an air lock,

A little bit from the CBD of Geraldton, this is still a well situated hotel. I think a great location for those travelling through the area, either to the North West or through to Perth, though not to be overlooked if staying in town for a few days sightseeing. A well presented, clean and comfy hotel, we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Although not quite the right forum for the associated Emerald Room Restaurant, I found the atmosphere pleasant, as were the staff, but the food service was very slow, especially as the food was nice, but that was it: nice. I must stay that we did receive complimentary drinks along with an apology, which helped alleviate the long wait.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on way down from Monkey Mia. Lovely welcoming staff on check in. Large unit with very comfortable bed and large shower. Fridge in room with tea and coffee facilities.You can park your car right outside. Breakfast was included which was a bonus. Very nice with usual continental cheeses, meats, fruit etc. Toast and jams and a really good fresh pancake maker - wonderful. There is also a laundry on site free of charge and a hand car wash. There is also an outdoor pool, too cold for us at that time of year but would be wonderful on a hot day.All the staff were very helpful and always had a nice smile. Located just outside city centre. We would definitely stay here again.

After travelling quite a bit with the family over the last few years, I will now always look for a Best Western. The rooms are kiddie friendly, clean and comfortable and the food is always amazing. A very reasonable price for a family of 4.

We stayed in The Best Western Hospitality Inn Geraldton for one night on our way to Shark Bay. The room was very basic with thin walls, we could hear the people next door snoring. The bathroom and toilet was awful and in need on modernization. It looked a long walk into town so we ate at the restaurant which was good but expensive.

First impressions are the place looks very dated .but the rooms were ok very clean flat screen TV foxtel movie channels ,fridge mini bar .shower and bathroom were fine ,cosy beds even tried the room service eye fillet with mushroom sauce and chips very good and good portion I would stay here again

We popped in here for an overnight stay on our way up to Exmouth. Service from the reception staff was excellent; very helpful. Rooms were comfortable & this place provides easy access into Geraldton's town centre. It is what it is - a pleasant place to put your head down for the night in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again on our travels through this region.

This is nice hotel in Geraldton area and I have stayed in this hotel few times over the past 2 years and really nice place to stay, closer to main roads. Little resurant with limited options. The little bar was quite bad, we had to wait 15 minutes to get served due to limited staff in the restaurant. The food was pretty average and complimentary continental breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights, and while the exterior is rather tired, the rooms have been tastefully modernised. Comfortable bed, modern shower, and nice to have small table and chairs. Breakfast was more than adequate, although attention to restocking is required at peak fining times

While the rooms were comfortable and clean with a large bathroom this was not a great place to stay in Geraldton. My husband and I travelled with a group and stayed one night before boarding the Eco Abrolhos for a trip to the Abrolhos Is and then one night after this trip. The dinner the first night was very average and not served hot. We were woken at 6am the following morning by people talking loudly in the next room. We asked our tour guide not to be put next to these noisy members of our group on the return visit. She kindly moved us but it did not prevent us from hearing all through the paper thin walls between the rooms. Similarly, on our return visit the dinner was pretty poor with some courses very nice - The soup was good and my aranci balls were very nice, but members of the group who chose 'roast beef' found it tough and in some cases inedible. The motel was also a fair walk into town. My husband and I would not recommend staying here unless you have severe budget constraints. We do not know how much it costbas it was part of a group package we were on.

Excellent amenities and staff. Easy access to the city and sporting facilities. Had a great nights sleep and woke refreshed the next morning. Wrong time of the year to use the pool area but it was clean and a nice area to relax in.

I was a little disappointed with the Geraldton Best Western experience after having been to Carnarvon Best Western the day before. The room was fine and comfortable, however what disappointed me was the restaurant. Yes, the servings were monstrous, but there were no options flagged for any dietary requirements that I saw. We did concoct a gluten free meal, and a vegetarian meal for my colleague, and yes it was well cooked and delicious. The following morning at breakfast I had my hopes up that there would be some sort of GF option but was told that the didn't have any bread in the freezer (sounded like "we ran out and nobody replaced"), there were no cereal options that were GF, even the hash browns were coated in flour. I will say that I did have a lovely poached egg on spinach cooked for me with some salmon and a tomato. Yes, it was delicious but I was pretty hungry by 10am. Unfortunately I had this accommodation booked for a work trip and I don't get to choose where I stay, I have recently had to travel state-wide and this is the first time that there were no carbohydrate options at all for breakfast. Not good when you have a day of meetings and travel ahead! Please look at your options for people needing GF, vegetarian or other dietary requirements. For me, it's not a choice to have to eat this way and I can't always survive on snack bars to get me through.

This motel is a pleasure to stay in. It is not a flash, top spec motel. It is a lovely, clean, quiet place to break a trip or stay for extended holidays. Functional and clean, everything you need, friendly staff who are always considerate and a very nice restaurant with great food. No complaints what so ever from me.

I wanted to praise the staff at Best Western Geraldton who were extremely helpful and considerate of my elderly parents who recently stayed there. From the photos that best western posted we expected the room to be a lot nicer. It was clean enough but was quite dated. Our front window had a crack in it which let in noise and smoke from the near by smoker outside their room. The pictures didn;t really show that it is motel like accommodation. The pool was very dirty and not really somewhere you want to spend a lot of time in. The continental breakfast was not great and was expensive to upgrade to a cooked breakfast (the continental retailed at about 18 bucks but they only knocked 3 bucks off the price of the cooked breakfast if you wanted to upgrade?!) I think next time we will try and not stop in geraldton as the town seems to be suffering and accommodation options limited.

We stayed at the Best Western Geraldton for a one night stop over on our way north. The room was great. Very clean and everything was in walking distance. The Continental breakfast which was included in the cost of the room, was also great. Pan cakes, cereal and toast with a good variety of juices. We will be staying again on our next trip North.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. unfortunately we had noisy neighbours talking loudly before 7am on 2 mornings. Our last night we found another car in our designated parking spot in front of our unit. Number 27 needs to be marked. I only had one of our complimentary breakfasts. Unfortunately the first 2 cereal bowls didn't look clean and I had to brush a pile of crumbs off my chair before I sat down.

Stayed here overnight on our way further north. Staff very friendly, helpful and informative. Room large, clean with all necessary amenities. Continental breakfast buffet is more than sufficient with a good selection. Good location, not too far from town and close to motorway for onward journey. Would stay here again.

This motel has a standard layout surrounding a pool about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. We had a very welcoming check in and were able to park right outside our room. We chose an Executive style room and it proved to be very comfortable for our three night stay. There was an efficient shower and plenty of natural light in the bathroom. The room had ample storage facilities, a dining table, chairs and a sofa. Wi fi was free and breakfast was included. The restaurant is open to the public. There was very limited china and cutlery in the room and no microwave. The motel boasted a guest laundry and a car washing facility. As we had moved south we were more aware of an increase in the number of business people stopping overnight and this was certainly the case here in Geraldton. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to recommend it.

Only needed an overnight stay as travelling up the coast, but pleasantly surprised by this motel, probably one of the nicest Best Western venues. Comfortable bed, all amenities you need. On the main road so easy to find and only 10 minute walk into main town.

Stayed at this property for 1 night while in Geraldton for work. Rooms are clean, tidy with comfortable beds. Minimal noise which helps in a good nights sleep. I was impressed by the friendly staff at reception, as I arrived early to check in. The lady who served me at reception was friendly and happy for me to check in early. She informed me about dinner/breakfast, wifi etc and was extremely professional. They even sent me a text message shortly after I arrived in my room to check my room was OK and if any issues to call reception immediately. Definitely would stay here again when next in Geraldton

Great place to stay. Room very spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Dined in restaurant. Great meal. Would definitely use again if we were in the area. Close to all the amenities.

Got a great rate which included a breakfast. Right opposite St. John of God hospital Relatively quiet Room has everything you need Staff were lovely, really really helpful- young girl on reception was exceptional. Thank you! This is an older style motel that has had renovations - it's not a five star and doesn't pretend to be. Would use again and again Close to all ammentieis .

I have stayed at the Best Western Geraldton half a dozen times for overnight business trips. Staff: Very helpful and friendly at the front desk. Always greeted with a smile. Rooms: Very clean. Comfortable bed and clean bathrooms. Location: Close to town centre about a 10-15min walk or 2 min drive. Dining: Restraunt is open for breakfast and dinner. Continental breakfast is standard. Pool facilities in the middle of the allotment. Value for money I enjoy staying at the Best Western and will continue to do so whilst on business.

Fantastic place to stay, rooms very clean & comfortable. Bathroom very bright & well set out, shower was best I've had for ages. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Stayed for work & dined in restaurant both nights, meals were excellent.

It is a pleasant and convenient overnight stop over between Perth and Carnarvon. The staff are always helpful and the service is always first rate, which makes it such a pleasure to stay here. It's almost like a home away from home.

I stayed 3 nights here and was quite impressed with the quality of the rooms. They are modern and very clean. The pool was also kept in good condition and it is quite large. The only problem i experienced was the wildlife. There are wild cats that hang around the back and they were mating so that kept me awake for almost an hour due to the noise. I was told by my neighbour that he had to switch rooms because he found a snake in his room. Both matters not entirely the hotels fault, however there must be ways to prevent such things.

We have stayed at this hotel several times already mainly because they have rooms that can fit a family with 2 children. The price is affordable and the overall experience is, shall we say, sufficient. In other words, if you're looking for a place to stay on a budget, this place will suffice. Not all the staff here are welcoming which is sad because these are the things that matter for a traveller. They don't have a way to give you your Best Western Rewards Points if you don't have your card with you ... or they don't try. The room is clean. The bathroom is well appointed. Observe the air conditioning though ... the one in the last room we stayed at was a bit iffy. Immediately request for a transfer if the air con is not working well and good luck with that. Just a reminder they charge for the bottled water provided in the rooms. We will do a little research on where we can bring our business elsewhere next time.

Best Western Geraldton was very clean and comfortable and extremely good value for money. An excellent light buffet breakfast was served in the dining room. I thoroughly enjoyed a swim in the pool and found the motel within an easy walking distance into town. The Geraldton foreshore is a beautiful area and well worth a visit I highly recommend this motel.

Following our bad experience in Hamelin, we headed back to Geraldton. Found Best Western in Geraldton, our saviour, a room for the night. Thank you MONA, you were so sympathetic to our circumstances, you made us feel very welcome and understood our situation. Good size room, comfortable bed, table and chairs tea and coffee facilities, toaster plates and cutlery available from reception. Good facilities, including swimming pool, laundry na d parking outside room. Let down by poor wi-fi connection.

We spent three nights at this property. Our room was bright, spacious and very clean and we were able to park right outside our room. Our room was at the rear of the property so it was very quiet. The room had a water boiler and coffee/tea and milk were provided. There was also a mini-bar with space available to stash a few items of our own. There was an outdoor pool in the middle of the property. Our room rate included a complimentary continental breakfast buffet and free internet access. The complimentary breakfast buffet included brewed coffee and teas, cereals and milk, some cold meats and cheese, as well as various fruits, breads and juices. Staff members were warm, friendly and very helpful. We want to thank each of Aeesha and Mora (sorry for any mis-spellings) for their assistance during our stay. We highly recommend Best Western Hospitality Inn Geraldton to other individuals enjoying the area.

We booked one night at the Best Western as a stopover on our way up to Kalbarri. Friendly reception staff greeted us on arrival. The rooms are motel style and we were in the far corner so away from the road. Parking bay not clearly marked for our room and the window looked out on to someones yard as the fence was broken. Toiletries provided were nice - shower was good. Light from outside the front of our room was hard to block out overnight. Breakfast was included and was very nice with good service. Purchased stamps from reception also helpful. If staying would recommend Hooks fish and chip shop down the road. Overall a pleasant enough stay.

We were on our way up north and picked this hotel on the QANTAS site and based on reviews. We booked a standard room which we were allocated, even though the hotel looked pretty empty. We had a ute full of stuff, it was upstairs and on the road side went back to Reception to see if there was another room we could have within the complex. They seemed a bit hesitant at first and made a point that "it would be an upgrade" but obliged to give us a more suitable room which we really appreciated. The room was refurbished, clean and tidy and had a nice hot shower. The only down side was discovery channel had no volume. They tried to fix it but couldn't (minor issue). We really enjoyed the continental breakfast that was included in the price. A good selection and the cold buffet was good. This with the room (if you get a new one) makes it a good stay. We'd stay again.

On arrival reception staff made us feel like we were intruding and were not pleasant. Our room was dusty and stale. The bathroom / toilet were atrocious! So old and not inviting to use!! Uncomfortable beds. Does not live up to it's rating and is overpriced for what you get. If the facility does have recently renovated rooms - we would have appreciated staying in one? The motel did not appear to be booked out the night we were there? Would never stay again and would not recommend.

Best Western Hospitality Inn Geraldton Very convenient location for the road; but a short drive out of the town centre. A comfortable, spacious room – motel style with parking in front. We liked the swimming pool and the included continental breakfast which was not expected. Also the availability of a free guest laundry and car wash area. The wifi was rather erratic and to get good connection we had to go into the bar, though it's supposed to be in all rooms. The rooms are not very well soundproofed and you can hear people next door, also especially when people talk outside it's very noisy.

My mother came up from Perth with a group of 20,. oldies bus tour. I was excited to be eating with them at the Emerad Room as I haven't tried it before. We had three choices, some choice the Lamb Rogout served on mashed potatoe and beans, this came out in a bowl of rice soup with about six pieces of lamb. More of an entrée. I chose fish of the day, Barramundi. Sorry to say, I could smell the fishie smell before I even got it in my mouth, that was even worse. I tried another piece, same, it was horrible, so horrible I couldn't eat it. The waitress took it, offered me another one, but seeing everyone ones meals, so small and not what was described, just made my stomach churn, so I refused. No apology. Next I ordered Pavlova. I was served a meringue, next to a scoop of cream and a scoop of ice cream with a spread of raspberry jam. That is not a Pavlova. A pavlova is on top of each other, meringue , cream, fruit. No ice cream. I felt so embarrassed . Here we are as a town trying to promote Geraldton and we get served small amounts, meals not as described, and made up dishes. I was so disappointed, embarrassed and annoyed, I came back the next day and spoke to the manager. I don't normally do that but felt there were so many things wrong, I had to. Told him all of above, he said, the hotel decided to make small amounts for old people as they had found they didn't eat much and they usually had to throw it away. Ok that answered why the meals were small but they were so small everyone was let hungry and some ordered another meal,,which they were charge an extra $27. He didn't explain why we were served rice instead of mashed potato. No apology. I didn't even go into the Pavlova. He was in defence mode. I will never go there again or any other Best Western. The group of twenty stayed 3 nights, never ate in the restaurant again and said they wouldn't stay there again. I went to the manger to try and save the situation , thought there might have been a reasonable excuse. He wasn't interested. That is my story.

Stayed two nights and found the venue excellent. The room had been recently renovated and was well appointed and of good size. Breakfast was good and of a standard expected at this type of motel. The location was central making it easy to get to the CBD and other tourist venues. Recommended.

Exactly as decribed in the publicity - standards good - Aussie welcome, perfect. Nice well placed, clean. Breakfast - nice, especially the cooked helpings!! Plenty of spave for parking and usefully located for visiting the town or touring the area.

3.5 stars more fair rating, not enough for 4 stars. Clean spacious room & bathroom, expected mod-cons. Flat screen TV pretty old - no HDMI port for plugging in my notebook but not a major hassle. Split system aircon a little slow to get working but did work. Basic room, no decorations. Layout designed for motorist traveller, mostly single storey units. A few on a 1st floor in one section. Day I checked in a big tour bus was there with very grey nomads, not too mobile, plenty of walking frames & wheelchairs - restaurant booked out most of the night. Restaurant prices fairly steep, as if for fine dining, but I did not have an evening meal there to see what it was like. Continental breakfast included in my booking was fine, reasonable choice - not sure of value though. I stayed so I was within walking distance for work so convenient for that.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. We had a very sound sleep. I think the only comment was the toilet don't give much room if you are a large person. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Clean rooms with ample facilities. Comfortable beds and lots of hot water. For an overnight stay this formula works well and it's definitely worth a night in Geraldton. The breakfast is well done and the cooked version was way too much for normal people to eat but well done.
