Best Western Plus Gardena Inn & Suites

Drove into Torrance for a one-day business conference and needed to overnight. The outside of the building looks deceptively nondescript and unimpressive, but inside everything is clean, well-maintained, well-designed, spotless to the level of 5-star cleanliness in my book. Staff was professional and courteous, and answered all questions. Had to figure out how to make the elevators operate using the secure card key access system, but once I did, it made me feel very secure in my choice. Had to call for help to show me how to turn on the "minimalist" shower (there's a trick to it, but I'm an old codger who hasn't kept up with 21st century interior design innovations where you hide functionality). But assistance was quick to come once called. Internet worked fine for my purposes and the breakfast was totally up to BW standards served in a cheerful and bright (and also spotless) dining room. The small covered parking garage is limited and a challenge if you're driving a large vehicle, but the outdoor surface parking lot is ample otherwise. Surrounding neighborhood is commercial, not pretty like a coiffured high-end residential zone, but utilitarian, but does not feel dangerous.

I travel to Los Angeles frequently for work and I have come to love this hotel chain and location. This location is always clean and always the most respectful staff. The property is always kept in prestige condition and is always such a pleasure.

I like coming here because of the jacuzzi bathtub. It's clean and friendly. I am not particularly into the breakfast and restrictions to eat in the dinning area. So I'll skip that next time. It's interesting that you can order food and eat in the rooms but just not the breakfast. Overall the price was right I like coming here.

THe rooms were very nice, updated, clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast area was large with plenty of seating and good amount of BW regular items. The covered parking was nice. While we toured downtown (30 minutes + by freeway), we dined at places to the west and south by surface streets.

We were in Los Angeles to visit with family and friends for a few days. For the money, this Best Western Plus was a great option. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We were on the second floor were the dinning room is located along with the fitness center. We took advantage of both each day. There is also a laundry room on each floor. We enjoyed our stay there and will choose this location again in future trips to the area.

The room and hotel are average .Coffee/cappuccino maker in the lobby area is excellent! The pool is open but no hot tub. location is safe but can hear helicopters and foot traffic at night near, lots of restaurants.

This is my ho to stay when I am in the Area. Very nice rooms and a good breakfast. Great place to stay and was not alot of noise. You will enjoy it here and is close to beaches and downtown. Could have more towels.

Highly recommend this Best Western Gardena. I stayed in a king jacuzzi room and it was spotless. The jacuzzi was extremely clean(always let the jets run with soapy water before bathing) n the water ran clean. The room was large and very clean, so comfortable. The front desk was very professional and friendly. The cleaning staff were so friendly and willing to help in any way. Love this hotel and will be retuning in the future. Very close to LAX. N lordy Gardena has so many places to eat.

Best Western Plus in Gardena was the most cleanness room we have stayed in. We travel a lot, so we are in Washington, Oregon, and Las Vegas. This hotel is by far the most clean we have seen up to now. We were kind of surprised because of where it is located but we had to stay there, as we were there to pick up some merchandise won at Julians Auction House which is right up the street. Also, we had a couple of pieces of furniture in the back of our truck for two days with no problem. So It also seems to be a respectful neighborhood.

Price is right the room is exceptional quite location near stores and places to eat, the bed was very comfortable everything in the room works the room was extremely clean I didn't mind walking barefoot lol

Welcoming, considerate, hard-working staff. Very clean, safe facilities. Great breakfast options. Laundry facilities accessible on floor for guest convenience. Better service and breakfast options than other high-end hotels we've stayed at.

Everything was acceptable and clean. Staff was also very nice and Helpful. The Breakfast was Good and had a few options to choose from. It's location is conveniently located and I Would Definitely Enjoy another Stay in the near Future!!!

Raj in the Front desk is “One of a kind” very Dependable, Empathetic w/ Honest service who exceeded one's expectation during this extended Pandemic period. Raj is a GEM!! He is one “Heaven sent” to all hard workers thriving since the Pandemic surfaced.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Hotel refused to refund my security deposit. Left a message and no call back or message back to reason why my security deposit of almost $200 was withheld after spending seven nights. I have travelled to multiple hotels and no hotel has ever withheld my security deposit. My credit card contacted them and they did not get back. Avoid this hotel.

Nicely updated hotel but the location is in a bad area and not safe. Only one way in and one way out of the property and surrounded by high fencing all around. There are no restaurants in the immediate area where it would be safe to walk to.

I got the suite for $300,jacuzzi was very dirty,stopper to stop the water was broken,walls dirty,coffee pot was out dated and dirty on the inside,and when I got back I had nowhere to park,and the parking lot had cars lined up in the back,so yes it was uncomfortable

I like coming to this particular BW because the staff is nice, it's clean and I can relax. I am favorable to the jacuzzi rooms, it's just what is needed after a long week of work or just dealing with life.

Mngmt is amazing! Hotel looks and smells clean. Vick is a very personable manager. He made us feel very comfortable even after we had an issue. The rooms are very large and the a/c is so cold! Which is great in the summer

We booked this hotel for 4 nights in late June/early July 2022. We (myself, hubby and daughter) were attending a wedding in Redondo Beach but didn't want to pay Redondo Beach prices for a hotel. We initially had a king room with a pullout couch, but the pullout couch was insufficient for our young adult daughter. In fact, when she pulled out the couch into bed position and sat on it, it tipped in on itself. Knowing this was an unsafe arrangement, the hotel moved us to a room with 2 double beds. They did this at 10 at night, and although we had already unpacked, the new room was just a few steps down the hall to minimize our having to lug our things a long way. Cleanliness was fine. We opted not to get a daily cleaning of our room, but the housemaids were always willing to give us any additional items we needed (new towels, TP, etc.) It is certainly not in a scenic part of town. It felt like light industrial to me, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. And parking was free, another plus. The one downside is that the floors of the lobby always seemed to be wet from kids coming to and from the pool which was right outside the hotel entrance. Also, breakfast was not really anything to speak of, so we ended up eating out during our stay.

Inconsistent housekeeping service. Sometimes bed sheets were changed, sometimes garbage was removed and sometimes the coffee was refilled. Eventhough we had housekeeping service everyday. The place always smells of weed. Elevators are dirty. We had to change rooms cause our ac wasn't working and I had to keep calling them to get it sorted. They never called me. Then they gave me a smear room and when asked for a refund for the difference, they refused. Only when I argued they gave me a token of usd5 per night. I stayed 13nights! We booked 3 rooms for the entire stay! This location has always been our preferred but I'm now looking for an alt hotel. Plus they hiked the prices!!!! No upkeep. Staff that dont care about the cleanliness but want to increase prices.

Our flight got cancelled but couldn't wait 3-4 hours to get a voucher, so we booked this hotel. Its 12min drive from the airport in a good location. The hotel is super modern and very comfy beds and big bathroom. My kids used the small pool to cool down and they were happy. The breakfast offer was ridiculous and gets a negative point for the value your paying (to go with packed burrito and some rools). A gas station and 7eleven are walking distance. Not a great neighborhood but its worth the stay if you want to relax in a modern facility and quite area.

Terrible hotel way over priced 200 plus dollars a night to stay in the hood small parking lot always over crowded at night amenities barely work tv remote wasn't working and fridge barely kept items cold breakfast in the am sucks just some frozen breakfast burritos and the coffee from the room overall terrible choice for la stay NEVER AGAIN!

The property is well maintained. My room was clean. All of the staff I met within my 3 day stay was courteous and willing to accommodate. The hotel is at a main road, so be prepared to hear constant noise from traffic. But honestly, I have no complaints and highly recommend this hotel! I commend the staff and managers!

Finishes inside bathroom & bedroom were chipped un painted broken or cracked. I requested in advanced a quiet room and they gave me a room right on the street. The room door was cut short so much that illuminates the whole room when you turn off youre room lights.

I've stayed at this location many times, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms large, continental breakfast choices quite good, recommend upgrading to jacuzzi suite for a super nice relaxing experience. Location isn't great but close to many amenities

My Mother (70), niece (29), and I (45) absolutely LOVED out accommodations. The hotel was located in good proximity to downtown Los Angeles, the Santa Monica Pier, Redondo Beach, and Hollywood. There are food places next door (Taco Bell, Burger King, and various Mexican restaurants) as well as a 7-11 within a block. All those things aside, despite the hotel being "Hood Adjacent", the interior of the hotel is lovely. It was clean and fresh smelling. The staff were wonderful and attentive to our needs. There was an initial discrepancy with the type of room we were placed in, but it was immediately corrected. Our actual room, the Queen Suite, was roomy and could have easily accommodated 6 adults without too much of an issue. If I am ever in the Greater Los Angeles area, I will DEFinitely be staying here again!!! (October 2021)

We arrived late, but the check in clerk was incredibly warm and welcoming. Got us in our room very quickly and with no hassle. We got a jacuzzi room and it was gorgeous and incredibly clean! Everything seemed very new and updated. I was impressed by how comfortable I felt instantly. The bed was very comfortable as well. The area is a little sketchy but not too bad. There is a gate on one side of the parking garage so we felt ok leaving our car in there. They do have security on the doors so you can only get into the lobby and the elevators with a room key so that was comforting. I would definitely stay again!!

This is one of our favorite places to stay as we know the service is always great and the rooms are clean. Staff is always helpful and responsive when needed. Pre-covid breakfast was really good. Hoping they bring it back soon. Definitely worth the stay.

My husband and I always enjoy a retreat at best western clean and good service . The staff is kind the atmosphere is excellent and it's close to home we go to relaxe. This is our home away from home and lil moment to get away

Best Western Plus Gardens Inn & Suites is my favorite hotel in the Gardena area. My go to place whenever I'm in town. Located just outside of Los Angeles and close enough to the LAX airport. Housekeeping is doing there job well because I've yet to have any problems with cleanliness! Major plus.

This place is clean and is really nicely appointed but they have eliminated everything. You have to ask for a blanket, a hair dryer, in-room coffee and anything else you would expect to find in the room. They make absolutely no effort at breakfast. And I mean nothing. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because off how nice the rooms are.

Just a quick check in, staff was courteous, and the place was in great shape. Clean all around and parking is right at the door. Definitely would recommend getting the upper floors so you don't get bothered.

I love staying here. When I want to relax and get away with my partner this is our go to spot. It's a bit pricy, but it's worth it. Each time I go, I spell the Lysol at the door. Housekeeping does a tremendous job at keeping this location disinfected. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly.

Checked in just for one night, as I was dropping off a family member at LAX in the morning. The price seemed decent at time of booking, but I found this place to be lacking in several areas. The neighborhood seemed ok, although I'd think twice of staying there with my kids. Upon checking in, I was told coffemakers and blankets are available upon request, and no breakfast is available due to COVID. I was given a room on the 4th floor. The first thing I noticed was multiple smears on the elevator button panels, as well as the floors near the elevators being sticky. There was a bad smell permeating throughout the 4th floor hallway. The room had decent decor and beds were comfortable, buT I found them with no bedding except two flat sheets and pillowcases. I thought this must be a mistake (maybe housekeeping forgot to dress the beds properly) but apparently this was also due to COVID and the lack of cleaning supplies..... WHAT?! This was sad, to say the least. We were tired and needed the sleep, so we stayed. These conditions are not acceptable, and definitely NOT at the level of a basic Best Western, let alone a Beat Western Plus.

Excellent staff, clean modern rooms. Fast internet. Delicious breakfast. They staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Easy checkin. Great parking. Will definitely recommend as well as stay again.

That was the first time we stayed at Best western Plus Gardena Inn & Suites. We booked it online due to they had good reviews, the price was fit with our pocket, was closed to LAX and to where we liked to go when we were at LA, free parking. When we arrived, checked in, then It was true. Our guest room was so perfect: beautiful, very clean, and roomy. Bathroom was so nice and clean. The hotel looked modern, private and safe to stay. The overall air of the hotel was fresh and clean. Parking was free but small. We still could manage to park (lucky us!). Staffs and service were great and nice. we were happy to spend 4 days there. We would like to come back to stay if we got a chance to come back to LA.

I have tried many hotels in the area and always come back to this one. The front desk and breakfast staff are exceptional, always greeting with a smile and eager to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. The beds, for me, are perfect softness and the rooms are much larger than standard, especially the Jacuzzi suites, I recommend the upgrade. The tubs are fantastic and rooms are huge. The bathrooms are well appointed with large counter and glass shower. My home away from home. Only the location isn't fantastic, but it's close to many great restaurants.

The Best Western Plus Gardena represents real value for money. I stayed here for 7 nights and completely enjoyed my time there. The hotel is spanking clean and the suites are large and fully equipped. I stayed in the King Suite which had a huge bed, a reception area with a full sized double Sofa/sofabed, a micro wave, fridge, iron and ironing board, easy to operate safe etc. The two brothers that run this outfit demonstrate such a caring and impeccable customer service! I would definitely stay again. A great hotel with amazing suites!

The room was large, with 2 kings and a couch. Rooms were remodeled and very nice. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Loved the waffles at the free breakfast. It included a toppings bar where you can add to your waffle mix.

we spent 4 nights at this hotel. we selected this hotel based on many good reviews on trip advisor that we now regret. I start with its cleanness: at first glance it looked good but after few minutes we realized the room was cleaned poorly. hairs in the shower and trace of urine on the toilet! we had to wipe the whole bathroom to avoid my kid gets sick! second is the noise: it is important to have good sleep during the trip as you get exhausted during the day, fact! but in this hotel forget it! our room was on third floor facing main street and we could easily hear any noise from the street all night long! we asked to change the room but they said all rooms were occupied and we believed them. any noise from the corridor, other rooms gets into your room. in the last night we could not sleep at all due to excessive noise both from street and one neighbour in the middle of night! breakfast: it was okay! not good quality foot but acceptable. sleep: it is average quality mattress and poor quality pillow! so do not expect comfy sleep at all. front desk: no issue always helpful TV: good choice of channels: 3 channels for kids and many movies channels so you wont get bored in conclusion we can say this hotel is over rated and you should avoid any room facing main street.

A friend recommended the Gardena location and I am so happy he did. This location exceeded the Inglewood, Ca. Upon entry the lobby is clean and a warm scented candle greets you. You wont go wrong here

I checked in on a Sat. and Sat night that hotel is a party hallway hotel. I smelled cannabis and loud music. I had to call the front desk twice, and they didn't kick none out . Also, when I checked in they gave me a room that was next to the breakfast room, I was never informed until I woke up to screaming children, and loud chatting next door to me.

Due to an emergency at home prior to our leaving for our trip, I had called to make sure they knew we'd be arriving late. Was treated courteously on the phone and was reassured that we were ok to arrive after midnight. When we did arrive, we were checked in quickly and given thorough instructions for everything (keys, outside doors, elevator, wifi, breakfast). The room was immaculate and we had no complaints at all. The young man at the night desk was even nice enough to look up the closest Denny's (only thing open at 1:30am) and he printed out the driving instructions to get there! The breakfast was good, a typical hotel array of foods and it was fresh. The dining room and kitchen workers were on it! Friendly, very hard workers keeping everyone fed. Onsite parking was plentiful. The neighborhood might not be the best, but we felt safe the entire time and again, the hotel was great. Close to everywhere we needed to go. Would definitely return here if the need arose

I was able to book this property at the last minute and I am glad I did. I was visiting my daughter in Culver City, CA. and this location suited my purposes well. The property appeared to be brand new or extremely well renovated. Front desk staff were very courteous and professional The room was well appointed, spacious, had a wonderful glass enclosed shower, very comfortable king bed and included an in room wall safe as well. The parking area was was secure and well lit. The breakfast area is spacious with a good flow of service into the food area. I will book this property again next time I am in town

We have stayed there three times now over the past 2 years and we always have a great experience. The staff is friendly and the hotel is kept in excellent condition. The rooms were very clean. We will definitely return.

Overall the hotel was great, Breakfast was great with lots of selection. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean with great selection in size and occupancy. the location was more central for our mini vacation as we were either traveling south to the Disney attractions and also to the beach. Then traveling north to Universal and the other attractions

My Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before flying home from LAX. My husband booked the hotel and we had a suite with a jacuzzi on the third floor which was lovely. Room is huge, bed was large and comfortable, big screen TV, jacuzzi bath in the room, small fridge and loads of storage space. The reception staff were all lovely, free parking and high level of security within the hotel made for an enjoyable stay. The breakfast despite having a large range was a little poor in quality, the walls were paper thin so stirred a bit at night and the light in the bathroom repeatedly switched off after 3 or 4 minutes of use which was really annoying after the 5th or 6th time. The rate we paid for the room was very good and would definitely stay again.

Stayed here on two occasions for one night each time and thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's not really the best option if you don't have a vehicle. It's clean has a free breakfast that has lots of options and the staff are very helpful and has free parking.

I've stayed at this hotel for over 100 nights over the last year and a half and continue to come back, especially after trying other hotels in the price range. Their service is excellent, always making me feel at home and the jacuzzi suite upgrade is a very nice relaxing space after a long days work. A big part of my choice is the very comfortable bed, which is not as hard as most hotels, and the very large bathroom with wide counter and large glass shower. The room size is also way above average. The free breakfast is better than most, with plenty of variety and the service staff are very friendly and attentive. It remains at the top of my list for my home away from home, and the price is better than other hotels in the category.

Very clean and updated room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast is always nice but the quality of the meats and eggs were lacking. Overall the rate I paid for the quality of the accommodations was a good deal.

This place was great! Pretty new and really clean. Awesome breakfast every morning in dining room. Room was big. Limited garage parking and plenty outdoor parking. Only thing bad to say is the WiFi was so slow!

I stayed here with my family for a few days while visiting LA. The amenities are basic, but it is impeccably clean and the staff are great. There is also a good buffet breakfast every morning which has everything you could possibly want. The one drawback is its location, which is sort of in the middle of nowhere, but provided you have a car, it's easy to get to the highway and get anywhere you want to go. Would definitely stay at a Best Western Plus again based on our experience here. Highly recommend!

The hotel is located between airport and downtown area. You can Taco Bell, Burger King, and C store around the hotel. It is a small clean hotel, the room was good and ok. We booked room with two double beds. I got problem for a mistaken unknown charge to my credit card, but it was refunded after two weeks later. I asked them to send me email why it happened, but they did not.

Very friendly, breakfast was great & rooms clean. I would stay there again. Don't have pay for parking was a blessing.i will refer family& friends to stay here. Last time we stay was 3years ago they still had the same people working they are wonderful.

This property has become a regular for us on US holidays. Great location, close to just about everything if you have a car. The rooms are large and well appointed. Complimentary tea, coffee and newspapers. Good undercover parking. The staff are always so friendly and great to chat too.

This hotel is awesome! Very new still and everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping are very nice and polite. I stayed here last year as well and both times have been awesome. Great amenities in the rooms, like the refrigerator and microwave. The complimentary full breakfast is welcoming as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

I'm never disappointed when I stay at Best Western, but this location was by far the best. Very clean, hospitality was excellent, breakfast was absolutely wonderful, the front desk staff was very nice and helpful and best of all the huge comfortable beds! I loved this location.

The staff members (Vic, etc) are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to help! They were of great assistance to us-giving us advice on local attractions and even printing out maps and adding notes on the best way to get to a city 2 hours away. The hotel was VERY CLEAN and well appointed!

We were delighted with our room. It was clean and spacious and had everything we needed to relax before our flight. The TV was huge and had lots of channels to choose from with easy menu. The jacuzzi was excellent. Check in and out was efficient and staff were excellent. Undercover parking was great - it would be a real bonus for loading luggage in bad weather. We would definitely reccomend the Gardena Suites for airport accommodation.

We recently stayed at this hotel for its central location. It was so elegant and charming. The facilities were clean and all the staff was warm and friendly! The complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious, plenty of options to choose from!

Great stay needs to improve on breakfast and would like to see the fitness room get more weights like dumbbells (free weights). Other than that stay was excellent. Would stay there again if I had to..thanks cali

A quick overnight trip, but the hotel is fantastic. Beautifully decorated and modern. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. There were several families there it seemed like which I was glad to see,. as there were a few younger groups of people up late and outside, but I didn't bother us at all.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and they offered a full breakfast on the 2nd floor. The room was really nice as well. Comfortable bed and the shower was amazing. It was a pretty nice size room for a king suite. There was a pull out bed as well and it slept comfortably too. Really surprised because the last time I stayed at a Best Western it was a little dated but this was upgraded and really done nice.

Arrived at 6:00pm to check in and the entire process literally took less than 5 minutes. Luis and Steve at the front desk were fantastic! We liked the fact that to get to your room you have to use your room key to access the elevators. The jacuzzi suite we had was on the 4th floor and was fairly large, I would estimate around 500 square feet. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lamps next to the bed had an electrical outlet and usb port. There was also a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The jacuzzi was great, steps away from the bed, and facing the television. The bath had a large walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head. I wish the bath had dual sinks but the counter space was adequate. Wi-fi service was easy to sign on to and fast. Their breakfast buffet is served from 7am to 10am and was more of a continental type but there was eggs and bacon. The food was very fresh and tasty. Overall, our stay was superb and we will definitely return if need be.

New hotel (few years old) on the outskirts of a slightly shady area. Large clean rooms. Friendly attentive staff. Large breakfast room with waffles, eggs, and BACON. Laundry rooms on each floor. Lots of parking, many of which are covered. Found this place while looking for a hotel near Carson. Will definitely stay again if ever in the area.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is very nice and gated. The decor is beautiful. Their team is friendly and helpful. The room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. I travel alot and will definitely stay here again.

The area isn't that salubrious but its perfectly safe if viewed with some street smarts, plus there are some very good Asian restaurants in the locality. The big pluses are that the hotel was brand spanking new, parking is plentiful and pretty secure and that for some reason some rooms have a in-room hot tub jacuzzi big enough for x4 in comfort. Great fun! Just a shame I was by myself on business :( Staff were pleasant enough, breakfast wasn't as nice as say a Hampton. The inter-floor sound proofing wasn't great....the guy upstairs woke me up a few times. It was adequate. Gym wasn't great either....although it did at least have some gym elements as well as running machines/cross-trainers. LAX is a 20-30min drive away. On balance, I'd stay here again.

The hotel is in a transitional neighbor and without any curb appeal; however, the interior is very nice. The rooms are unusually large with nice furniture and amenities. The bed was comfortable. The TV was nicely sized. There was a moderately sized refrigerator, an in-wall safe, and well intentioned automation. For example, the lights in the bathroom and closet came on when sensing motion. In my case, the motion sensing was annoying because the lights in the bathroom turned off after a few minutes. I would have to start waving my arms periodically while sitting on the toilet to turn the lights back on. I always found myself in the dark after a few minutes in the shower. Even when on, the light level in the bathroom was too dim. I liked the buttons beside the entrance door for turning on a light for "do not disturb". The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK and parking was adequate. Overall, it was OK and I would consider returning, but I will be tempted to also consider other hotels.

Awesome Service. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Our bedroom was very comfortable. We sure will be coming back again. Thank you staff of Best Western. We slept very well. Quite and peaceful. Love it.

Hotel was great. Nice and comfy rooms. Bedding was excellent. TV and internet were great and very useful for my enjoyment. The breakfast was superb. Plenty if choices to accommodate everyone. Even had different types of milk. I'd gladly stay here agaib.

Hotel was relatively new with covered and open car parks. Laundry room at each floor made it easy. Lost of Asian food along the road which made it great for more options other than American meals. Breakfast was reasonable but seating was limited. Should have more seating. Lobby offered complimentary hot drinks.

We had a room with two queen beds and a pull out couch. Checked in at 2am and we all went straight to sleep. The room was huge and the beds were so comfy. The breakfast was amazing, probably one of the best I have had. It had a heated pool but we did not have time to use it.

It was a pleasure stay again in this hotel. It has a more modern installations than regular Best Western hotels. It is close to the airport and me and my family could take a quiet and comfortable night of sleep.

Overall great stay. Great breakfast options. Only negative was neighbor room smoking in their room. Smell got into our room and lasted all night. Hotel offered to move us but only available room was on same floor which was senseless since smell was in hallway as well.

Customer Services was Exceptional. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The breakfast area was extremely clean and the food was great. My family really enjoyed the brief stay at this hotel. Yes, i highly recommend the stay.

Stayed 2 nights before trip to French Polynesia and 4 nights upon return. Very spacious rooms with anything you may need. Modern, good WIFI, fridge, microwave, large TV, secure parking. Breakfast was enough to start your day. Good polite service. About 20 minutes drive from LAX. Good value for money. Recommended.

I checked in tonight for a business meeting tomorrow. I had read some good reviews, so I expected a pretty nice room. Check in was easy, the clerk was helpful, and very nice. So, the room: Spacious , plenty of conveniences (microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and safe), and very nice! Bright overhead lighting if you need to get some work done, including a desk with lamp. Or, two lamps near the bed, and two in the sitting area for a more relaxing feeling. A love seat and armchair, plus and ottoman. Clean, comfortable, and roomy. I'm looking forward to the complementary breakfast tomorrow, unless something goes terribly wrong, this place is worth what I paid and deserves this rating!

Chose this location after scrutinizing many reviews of hotels in the area. Didn't disappoint at all in the end. Admittedly it's not all that convenient from the airport and the like, and if you need anything outside from gas stations and the Burger King, it's a bit of a walk. Other than that though, everything else was wonderful. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, it certainly was worth the little extra to book this hotel. There is no doubt that I would book this location again if I have to travel back to the area.

This hotel is one of the far best that I have stayed in when I go on vacation to other cities. Clean inside and out, great security, breakfast top of the line, and easy access in and out. I really love this hotel and it feels just like your home. I kove it and this is where I will stay every time I visit my family in LA.

Best Western is the perfect place to chill and get away from it all. Clean lovely rooms, quiet and relaxing. They have an extensive breakfast and the staff is courteous and helpful. Its an amazing place to stay in Gardena.

This was a fantastic hotel. Immediately the staff in reception were welcoming and friendly, with reception itself being very spacious, modern and immediately setting the standard for the rest of the hotel. My Family and I found the room to be really spacious, spotlessly clean and it's decor was very modern. Good amenities throughout the room including a full cable selection. Breakfast was served on the second floor in a spacious room and was a standard Best Western style buffet breakfast, which my kids love! The gym was well equipped for a hotel and the pool was a nice size on the rear of the hotel. Although Gardena may not be the most glamour out of locations I could not rate this hotel any more highly; when I return to LA in the future I will use this place again.

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The lobby was very clean and very appealing. My room was also very clean and the free breakfast was very good. The hallways smelted very fresh ( something I can't say about most hotels). Another plus was the free parking.

This hotel lived up to its previous reviews. We arrived late but the staff were welcoming. The hotel and room were clean. The room was a good size for our family of 5, including 2 king sized beds and sofa bed. Breakfast was so good quality and provided something for everyone. A good location for flying into and leaving Los Angeles.

Nearly everything about this hotel was well planned. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, the decor is modern, and the rooms (including beds) are comfortable. I wish there was a night light in the bathroom, as well as a make-up mirror, but these are minor issues. Breakfast is above average with waffle makers and hot food every morning. We were especially pleased with the yogurt dispenser that allows you to make yogurt parfaits. We didn't find this working class neighborhood to be unsafe. It's only about 15-20 minutes to LAX. Downtown LA takes around 40 minutes, primarily due to traffic. We were very pleased with the number of reasonably priced ethnic restaurants (quite a variety) within just a 10-minute radius. Two fast-food places are just steps away. Beaches are about 15 minutes away by car. The free parking and breakfast, as well as the quality of accommodations and service, made this a very good place to stay with a family.

Room was clean and spacious, breakfast was good, it's close to the airport and it's one of the best options if you need a parking spot. It takes about 30 min to get to the major attractions, via the highway, but traffic is not too bad.

We stayed there as family of 4, the room was upgraded on the spot without any extra charges....Staff was very professional . Manger was extremely helpful and guided us to visit places in LA and Vegas. We will never forget the experience we had in Thai restaurant suggested by him in Vegas??

Very clean, great breakfast selection. Helpful and pleasent staff. 15 mins drive from airport. Quiet area, 7-11 a couple of minutes walk. Comfy beds but no bar. Great breakfast selection and plenty of seats and tables.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection and quality was above average. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to be centrally located from all of the attractions around Los Angeles and Anaheim. It is also very close to LAX and not far from the beaches.

This hotel is great, it was a great surprise. The room was very spacious, cozy, with a big bathroom, nice shower and a confortable bed. I think the hotel is very new and all the furniture is all new and modern. The staff was kind. They offer free parking and the breakfast is included in the stay, which has a nice variety of hot and not hot itens. It is not so close to the atractions in L.A. but in LA it is difficult to survive if you don't have a car. If you go by car, you can find good restaurants and stores nearby. The cost is very good speacially if you compare to most of the hotels in LA. I really recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

This hotel was fantastic. I was here as part of a student competition and they went out of their way to help us however they could. The complimentary breakfast is great, the rooms were well-taken care of, and the staff was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

From check-in to last day of a full week was a great stay! GM checked us in and while we had to wait about 15 minutes for the room to be cleaned he spent the time letting us know what we should do around town. Unexpected and a great personal touch, he truly cared we had a great time in LA. Facility is high tech, card access for the correct floors needed. Cool “do not disturb” and “housekeeping” lights by doors. New and well kept with laundry on each floor. Beds were comfortable, room spacious, great kitchenette and amenities. Nothing bad to say about this hotel or it's staff, everyone we encountered was friendly and respectful. 5/5

This Hotel is the best, Best Western I've ever stayed in I loved the free hot drinks and made Good use of this me and the family hot Chocolate for the kids , Coffee and Tea for us. The Reception was Outstanding always willing to help and went Above and beyond to Assist you, beautiful new Designed Building. Room was very Spacious and Accommodating, we was very lucky as we was right Opposite the Kitchen. The free Breakfast was good so we could always start our day with a warm breakfast and save money, before we set of on our Adventures. We didn't have time to try out the heated pool but maybe on our next visit To LA. The only thing that let down this Hotel was the Location. But if you're driving that not a Problem we use Uber and Lyft a lot, Coming from London England was a good way to get around we also took the buses but it was a Hassle at time trying to work them out. I Definitely Recommend this hotel Clean Modern and safe.

While my wife was at a conference I spent two days hanging around this hotel. The staff was very friendly, the heated pool was great to swim in, and the small gym had everything I needed to exercise. While this is certainly not a resort, everything was clean and tidy, safe and secure, and it was a very relaxing weekend. The mini fridge and microwave helped me with meals, the couch in the room was very comfortable, the desk was a great workspace, the WiFi was strong but I did miss having a smart TV.

So i travel to LA couple times a year and try to stay at different hotels each time i visit. So this time around i stay at the best western at gardena. I actually chose this hotel to save on parking but after returning home i notice i received a 300 charge to my card, so i called the hotel to speak to an manager and ask why? front desk told me it was for smoking in the room they had found a grinder in the trash can and ashes on the table & to call back during 11-230 during the day to talk to the GM because he is the only person that could remove the charge. Now if i smoked in the room i wouldn't mind paying the fee but i specifically went down stairs to the lobby or for a car ride every time i wanted to smoke. This hotel has cameras everywhere so it would be easy to do some surveillance of the cameras and verify what Im saying but i was never given a chance to even explain this. So i proceeded to call the next following days the same front desk girl answered and would put me on hold for over 10 minutes just for her to say the GM isn't available. So i ended up filing a claim through corporate and was told i would receive an response from the gm within 48 hrs. I let 4 days go by and then called corporate and they told me that he responded to corporate but never bothered contacting me & said stated the same thing the front desk told me and said the room smelled like marijuana. I have never been charged for my hotel room smelling like marijuana to make it worst california is recreational so this is a form of discrimination. I think its unfair and i went from saving $90 for free parking to $-300 on a lie that could easily proven wrong but they wouldn't even bother giving me the time to explain. So for obvious reasons I don't recommend this hotel, im sure they bank on this but its wrong.

We slept in it for four nights with four kids. The room had 2 king beds and a sofa bed. It was more then enough for us with four young kids. the room was always clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good with nice variety of food. There is a heated pool , but we hadn't had the time to swim in it. the stuff was very friendly and helped us in all we needed. The location is a bit far from all the main attraction (around 40 minutes by car) ,but we didn't care.

Considering where this hotel is located, at first glance you might reconsider your choice. But during and after your stay you certainly won't. Despite being in a somewhat shady neighbourhood, this place is a gem. Friendly staff, modern, clean, free parking and wifi, descent breakfast and not that far from where you want to go. The light switch for "do not disturb" or "housekeeping" was brilliant! My bet is that you aren't in LA to stay at the hotel, but even if you do. This place is great!

the facility is new and updated. we arrived night time and i felt safe. my husband used to live in carson and was weary that this area is unsafe. it was fine. the surrounding area looks shady but i felt safe. we were there for the hotel and not the area... and the inside is nice and new and quiet.

Very clean, Very professional, Could use a few more USB ports in the rooms. Breakfast was a delight. Only 20 min from the RB Pier. Some rooms have Jacuzzi's in them. I have rented both from this establishment. And have enjoyed my husband and I have enjoyed ourselves each time.

Hard to find decent hotels in LA for a decent price but this is one of them. Property is only a few years old and in great condition. Rooms were spacious and nice and staff was super friendly and helpful. The only downfall is that the hotel is situated in an industrial type area and isn't really close to any attractions so you will have to drive to wherever you are going.

Everything was fine—helpful staff, comfortable room. We were there to celebrate our niece's birthday and the location of the hotel was conveniently close to the venue. We will definitely think about this Best Western in the future.

Was only in the hotel less than 12 hours, but the room had the best bed (firm) and best shower of our 3 week trip. It's a pretty big room and bathroom and a great big flat panel tvto and the a/c worked fine. Also felt happy with the sort of private car parking. Down sides were the wifi was pants in room 401 and kept dropping out and the breakfast was just ok.

Our family of 4 stayed in here visiting from Australia. We were initially apprehensive about booking here due to concerns about the general neighbourhood but we definitely made the right decision! The rooms are modern and spacious with attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness. I have bad back problems and the beds were so comfortable (new & firm- which was perfect for all of us) and the internet was fast for all our devices. Hot water was plentiful and we were provided an environment were we could truly relax and enjoy our stay. The full breakfast was incredible- they had a huge variety with a proper yoghurt buffet (not crappy sugar yoghurt in pre-prepared cups but a build your own with nuts, fruit, muesli, oats etc), fried or scrambled eggs, patties, sausages or bacon, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, hot coffees, tea, chocolate, waffles, cereals, muffins, danishes, whipped cream, all kinds of toppings-I'm celiac & diabetic and there were plenty of options, exceeded some 5 star hotels we've been to. Always coffee in the lobby too. At no point did we feel in danger or that security was an issue- the lift requires the use of a room key so that was great. The undercover parking was locked in each night- we usually returned too late to get a spot there but felt very confident parking in open section at the back of the hotel without issue.With a car we were within easy distance to most of the touristy places we wanted to visit-eg,downtown hollywood was about half an hour drive, we paid $2 to park at hollywood/highland and spent an enjoyable morning doing the dolby, chinese theatre and walk of fame etc.We were able to drive to Santa Monica in about 35 mins. Disneyland took about 45 mins- about 35 mins on the way back. The area had a variety of normal shops- Target, Macy's etc and some great offers for bargain shoppers (Ross, TJ Maxx etc).Right near the hotel there is a 7-11 as well as a Burger King & Taco Bell so that was super convenient.A couple of blocks around the corner there is a Dollar Tree store so our kids enjoyed spending the last of their US dollars there :). The hotel staff were super helpful and personable,the manager personally greeted us to ask how our stay was which was very nice. Every time we asked a question the front desk staff were very professional and helpful.We had a really late flight departing to Australia and they allowed us to leave our luggage there on checkout that we could pick up later in the evening.Highly recommend!!

This is possibly the best Best Western hotel at which we stayed on our American vacation and we were here for 2 nights prior to leaving the US of A. Location didn't appear to be a brilliant area, but absolutely no problems walking around the vicinity. Check in was very smooth and welcoming, long conversation with Steve (hopefully remembered his name correctly, apologies if not) soccer mad with a good knowledge of teams and players. The room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Shower was brilliant and it was very useful to be able to use the laundry facilities. Breakfast was the usual good standard of Best Western and all in all a very enjoyable stay.

In room jacuzzi was awesome. Very modern and clean. Breakfast was good. Area is a little more poor, but the hotel feels like a fortress and felt 100% safe. Covered indoor parking. Only 15 min drive to airport. My new favorite LAX hotel

The hotel was great. First time here. We wanted to get away for a night. The price was wonderful and service was great. The front desk was friendly, helpful and informative. The hotel made me feel safe and great update atmosphere. The non-smoking King size bed with jacuzzi, was undescibable. Very romantic and clean. We'll be going back soon.

We needed some alone time and this was a great romantic place to stay for one night to get a night away as a couple. The Best Western was great. It looks wonderful and updated. The front desk was helpful and informative, also very friendly. They went over all the hotel has to offer. The room was more then I can describe. I looked on line and the one picture of this room doesn't do it justice. Great for a honeymoon get-a-way.

This is an excellent hotel and a great value. It's modern safe and new. It still smells like new. Very clean and comfortable. The area around the hotel is not the best but we felt safe. I would highly recommend staying here if your in the area.

Stayed there 8 nights with my Son in March. Staff were helpful and friendly. Free parking on site was a bonus. Rooms were spacious (we had 2 queens). Bathroom was big. Fridge, coffee machine and plenty of room for storage. Has a small but usable gym with a nice breakfast which will save you. Breakfast has plenty of hot and cold options including yogurt, cereal etc and fresh fruit. The location is 30 min out of LA so you will need a car. Looked a bit dodgy driving there but it was fine. We actually drove around the neighbourhood which and found a basketball court not far and it was safe. Would definitely recommend for family or people on a budget. The pool was nice and heated also.

We stayed here at the start of a 1 month holiday in LA and this place was excellent. Quite new with huge rooms, undercover free parking, free papers and foyer coffee. Very clean too. The desk staff were so friendly and great to talk to. They were also very helpful. Not much around so you need a car but as far as hotels go, this was a really good stay with no complaints at all.

Brand new hotel. Beautiful large rooms. All staff wonderful. Fantastic breakfasts. Great place to stay but a little far from airport with no shuttle service provided. Good restaurants within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Steven was super friendly and professional and accommodating and recommended places in Los Angeles since I live far away and don't know the area and he was very funny and made me feel safe about leaving my car in the parking lot in a spot where I couldn't see it from my room.. I am very paranoid about my car lol but he was hekkka funny and after he assured me everything was gonna be aiiigghht I believed him so he does a great job representing the hotel and making people feel welcome! I was hekkka greatful for such great customer service from him :) the hotel is super fancy and I really like the rooms and how you have to use your key to make the elevator work made me feel safe in my room so that was nice the room was super fancy it was my birthday when I went it was wonderful waking up in your fancy room all pretty with the light coming though the windows and the vanity mirrors that light up then a huge selection of food for breakfast I was super happy at everything I experienced at your location you guys have a really nice hotel and I would recommend this place to anyone

We are a family of four (including two young children) who stayed here two nights during the last week of February. We were looking for something near LAX and the prices here seemed very reasonable, and we also liked the fact they did not charge for parking. As many reviewers have already mentioned, this hotel is fairly new (about two years old) so the decor is contemporary. But more importantly, the hotel is clean and everything still works well. I've been in so many hotel rooms where the thermostat is not responsive, or the refrigerator cannot keep anything cold. You won't find that here. Rooms are also very big -- we got the room with the two king beds and a sofabed so there was plenty of room to stretch out. The rooms had a refrigerator, microwave and a tiny wall safe -- good for wallets, jewellery, and passports but not much else. Walls were a bit thin -- we could hear our neighbors' TV late into the night but it did not really disturb us. Breakfast was pretty good -- it had the basic offerings plus there was a yogurt parfait station (toppings were basic however) and a couple of self-serve waffle makers. They have a covered parking area, which is pretty nice but those 20 odd spots get snatched up pretty quick (lots of additional parking outside the covered area but still within the property gates). Staff was friendly and helpful and check-in was a breeze. No restaurant inside the hotel but that's fine because there are incredible dining options near the hotel. There is a very large Tokyo Central & Main department store about a mile south of the hotel and this particular location has a food court with some wonderful choices. There is a Waba Grill located just a block north of the hotel and although it is a fast-food chain restaurant, we thought their food (including lots of veggies) tasted very fresh. We also loved their self-serve pickled carrots and jalapenos station. We also tried a place called Mr. Fries Man located about a quarter mile south of the hotel. They have a very unique variety of loaded french fries. Words really do not do this place justice -- visit their website and look at the pictures of all their different kinds of loaded french fries and I guarantee it will make you salivate! If you love to try something different but still love the comfort of french fries, you have to give this place a try. There is also a strip mall just another quarter mile down from Mr. Fries Man that has several Korean restaurants. We wanted to give it a try but ran out of time -- we did go for bubble tea there however. The hotel offers fairly easy access to Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach (about a 20 minute drive), which was nice. Venice Beach and Santa Monica are a little further out (30 to 40 minutes). We also made a last minute decision to visit Universal Studios and it took us about 45 to 50 minutes to drive there. The effect of traffic on your travel time is definitely a wild card when you want to drive that far out. So keep that in consideration when planning. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay here again if prices remain reasonable, but I did mention I had mixed feelings about its location in the title of this review. Although we truly enjoyed the diverse dining options in this area, and the proximity to LAX and great beaches, I should say I was a bit concerned about the dilapidated nature of the surrounding neighborhood. I never felt unsafe in the hotel as it feels secure -- heavy gates around the property, the front desk is always manned, and you need your room key to use the elevators. However, there is a strip club located right next to the hotel (to the north), and a liquor store located about a block north of the hotel and I feel these places attract less than savory characters to the area. On our last night at the hotel, I decided to gas up the rental minivan before returning it the next morning. It was around 10 PM and I went to the 76 gas station just a block north of the hotel (and adjacent to the liquor store). While gassing up my car, a man came up to me and began hassling me for money. When I said no, he started arguing that I should gas up his car instead. The attendant of the station did not do anything and allowed this man to keep bothering me. A couple minutes later, a woman came out of the liquor store and into the gas station and started complaining very loudly about how the liquor store cheated her out of some money. She was aggressive and angry and clearly inebriated. It got pretty crazy there. Anyway, after I left the gas station, I used google maps to find a car wash with a vacuum cleaner as my kids had tracked in alot of sand into the rental mini-van during our beach day. Google maps directed me to a car wash about a half-mile south of the hotel. Even though the place was opened 24 hours, it was completely dark as all the lights were either broken or stolen. No attendant there as everything was coin-operated. It was totally ramshackled and after the experience at the gas station, I didn't dare go in. During the day, the area around the hotel feels very safe but definitely a different feeling late at night.

Stayed here for 4 nights. A very short drive from the airport when we arrived. Within a manageable distance to Universal Studios, Disney and Santa Monica Pier. In safe, quiet neighbourhood but plenty of choices for grocery store, drug store and restaurants near by. Room was very clean and had all of the necessities. Free Breakfast room was more than adequate. If anyone wants more, they need to go out and pay for it. 4 breakfasts and choices were changed up everyday. All Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.

The room has strong fake fragrance and the bathroom smells like it was just sprayed with insecticide. Both which triggers my sinus allergies. The smell of the room compared to my coworkers was night and day difference and compared to my last 4 stays here was VERY DIFFERENT. There is normally fragrance in the room which I open the window to air out, but the smell was so strong that it has lingered into day 2. I am disappointed that not all rooms are consistent and equal. This room in particular is so empty that they only had one person seating in the room (most room has a 3 seater- love seat and a single person seat) that I cannot use to discuss business with my coworker. I asked if they can give me the room facing the residential side so it is less noisy, but they insisted due to my reservation that they cannot change it. The parking did not appear to be full therefore I am assuming (I may be wrong) that the hotel was not at full capacity. I have referred all my coworkers here and I have stayed for the past 3-4 times in the hotel each lasting 4-5 nights in the past 2 months. I am disappointed to say that I will have to bring my business elsewhere.

The title says it all. I've stayed in countless hotels because of my job. So I'm pretty qualified to give a proper review. And although my trip was business related, they'd be my first choice if I ever needed a hotel in the area. From the prompt and efficient service, to the warm smile they give you when you get to the hotel every day. It feels the closest to being home away from home. Definitely above and beyond expectations!

The rooms are very spacious, clean. Coffee machine and coffee in the room. Ice machine and vending machines in the corridor. Hot water and coffee machine in the lobby. Varied good breakfast. (breakfast room is not quite big but enough) Open and closed parking. Breakfast and parking are free. Very nice hotel to stay.

Hotel is located within 9 km from the LAX and it's an ideal place overall if you have to go quickly to the international airport. Modern , clean , nice personnel ...Good value to price . Breakfast is good , parking is free and rooms are very large

The hotel is easy to arrive and next to LAX airport. The neighboorhood is simple and has not familiar places like massages parlors and cheap motels. When you arrive at the hotel you will see a clean and familiar place. It is a very quiet and comfortable property. The staff is very polite and friendly. It has a good breakfast and a fully equipped gym. I liked this hotel and highly recommend this place

It is 15min from LAX and perfect location if you have plans in souther part of LA county. The room is freshly built and facility is shiny. The room included a free breakfast which was so very fine. Strongly recommend this place.

Stayed here overnight after arriving to LA. This hotel is easy/fast to reach from LAX. Rooms were really spaceous and the floor was quiet. Liked the breakfast too. So with 100$ room rate this was a good choice and served the purpose.

We were driving home from a convention and stopped in to visit our nephew, who lives in Gardena. Hee recommended this place, and I could not have been more pleased. Clean, bright, with electronic doors, secure roofed parking, and an elevator that will only take you to the lobby and the floor your room key indicates you belong on. A light for the"do not disturb" sign, or another one for housekeeping. A bathroom light that was motion sensitive (but came on whenever you entered the bathroom, whether you wanted it to our not - we couldn't turn that feature off). The shower doors hung from the top rail and moved soundlessly, and, my favorite bathroom feature, there was an extra hook or two next to the shower for your towel and clothes. The staff were pleasant, attentive, and made sure our needs were met. I will happily stay here again next time we visit. Also, I am told that this is near LAX, and if true, it would be a fabulous place to overnight prior to an early morning flight. However, we were driving and I don't know this city that well. The cost was certainly reasonable for a large city, and we got their last available room, so they might have even less expensive ones if booked ahead.

This is the third time that I have stayed at this location and I must say that it left a good impression with me. The hotel service, staff, comfort of the rooms, quality of the breakfast and the safety that I feel while traveling solo is remarkable considering that the room key only provides access to the elevator and that floor you are staying on. Will definitely stay here over and over again.

Everyone here is so friendly and it always smells so good in the rooms! I love how they have jacuzzis in some of the rooms too. They never fail to meet our requirements and the breakfast is super good!

Great hotel, newly renovated with amazing staff. Close to the freeway and 20 minutes from everything! I would recommend this location as a home base to explore the area. Our family stayed there for a few days and enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I stayed here during the week between Christmas and New Years. The neighborhood isn't great, but this hotel is very nice. I think it was newly renovated. A room with a king bed is almost like a suite - it had a desk, coffee table, sofa and small chair along with a microwave and small fridge. Bathroom and shower are large. Over all the room is quite spacious. Hospitality and service was great. Breakfast is included and the selection is good. My only complaint is that the room would get a musty smell if we didn't run the AC for a little bit but running the AC then made the room cold. Also the hallways and elevator smelled too much like cleaning products and paint.

Newer hotel with great rooms, friendly staff and reasonable rates. Location is close to many simple food options and fairly close to freeways and LAX. Not much more than a 30 minute drive during traffic.

The Gardena Inn is a nice new hotel that is very comfortable and clean. The attentive staff, complimentary breakfast and free parking make this a very good value. It is a bit far from the main L.A. tourist attractions, but if you are staying in Gardena it is a very good choice.

Breakfast starts at 7AM. I have to leave at 6:45. Front desk guys said they can have fruits (banana) at the front desk for me. When I checked out at 6:45A, no banana. The reception said there was no message left for her to have something for me. This was a major mistake, highly unacceptable. I took 2 points off the score. This place deserve a 4 star- clean, quiet, free parking, except for customer service. I had to stay around 7AM to get my banana on the 2nd floor. I was late for my appointment at 7. I am a diamond member, stay over 250 hotel nights a year mostly at Hyatt and Sheraton because I get much better benefits at the top tier. I did not receive an upgrade to a better suite here. Some guests mentioned that they received upgrade to hot tube suites. I don't think they are diamond members.

Overall experience was great!! Breakfast was good the kids loved it, staff when checking in was awesome!! Don't care for the call that was 5 mind after 11am to state it was check out time when we were getting dressed.. Other than that great place

Loved the hotel model and decoration. It was very welcoming. And the service was amazing as well as breakfast and attentive breakfast ladies, helped us out on where everything was. Gym was also available for 24hrs was very clean and smelled clean.

Very clean and professional environment staff friendly and professional, except clerk just spontaneously decided she she make me pay a smokers charge didn't bother asking me if I smoked assumption, I paid it and moved on, which was later returned to me but I'm sure no one else gets charge a smokers deposit, anyways the place is top notch clean and quiet nice furnishings and comfortable bed. I do not smoke!!

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights in November and thought it was great. Fairly new building with clean, comfortable mattresses and pillows, and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel might not be located in the best area (very industrial), but it was very secure. (Note: we never felt unsafe). The room key-card is needed to enter the building after 9:00 pm and it's also needed to operate the elevator. The free breakfast was good with an assortment of hot dishes, waffles, a fresh yogurt machine, cereal, pastries, etc. and is located on the second floor. Our only complaint was with housekeeping. We left the “Please help us conserve” card on the bed and the towels on the racks so they wouldn't have to strip the bed and we could reuse the towels. However, both days they changed the sheets and took the towels. I know it's a minor complaint, but I think it's important to conserve our resources whenever we can, and it felt wasteful to me. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed at this location a couple of times because it is very convenient to where I need to be (close to a family member). I believe this hotel has only been here for a couple of years but it is outstanding! I will continue to stay at this hotel every time I travel to California visiting my family. My situation is that my family member is 88 years old and we went to visit him (this stay) to convince him to move. EVERYONE of the employees was friendly, with HIGH customer service (including the manager). They allowed us to make our 10 days at this location ‘our second home”. With the amount of time that we were there, we saw them cleaning every day not just the rooms but everywhere - it was constant. Because of my family members' situation, we needed some private, non distracted location that we could talk privately MANY times with a good sitting (not sitting on a bed or in a lobby - and they allowed us to use their meeting room on a daily basis, providing us exactly what we needed allowing us the private discussions and a place for us to visit and play card games every night. The breakfast is much more than a continental breakfast that other hotels often include. They always have hot items (eggs, a couple different meats, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, cereal, danish/bread, juice, coffee and a GREAT selection of Stash flavored teas. Again, this hotel provided a clean, friendly, great customer service, care for their customers in every instance. Most of the time I would have stayed at higher end hotels but this hotel is just as nice as more high end hotels plus they offer so much more. Stay here, you will not be disappointed - I was not!!! And by the way, there were several of us with this stay and everyone one of us felt the same way! They ( all the employees) deserve this HIGH rating.

I stayed here before the Bills/Chargers game at Stubhub Center. This Best Western is more like a Hyatt or Hilton than a Best Western. The rooms are spacious, modern, and well appointed. The electronic do not disturb/housekeeping requested buttons are super convenient. My room was spotless. The breakfast was surprisingly good. I have zero complaints; it's a great hotel. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Hotel was very clean and overall very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and professional. The morning breakfast was very good and lots of variety to choose from. Hotel is generally centrally located and close to the freeway's, although the immediate area of the hotel didn't offer a lot in the way of shopping or sightseeing. If you have your own transportation then you won't have any problems.

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of holidays touring L.A and Vegas. The hotel is very modern clean and has great fitness, business and leisure facilities. Breakfast was good and the hotel is conveniently located not to far away from the start of the Starline hop on and off bus routes, to access downtown L,A Hollywood and Venice Beach. Although the hotel is modern and conveniently located it is situated in the middle of a industrial area so not so great walking about. The room was larger than expected with ample space and a really big bathroom. Enjoyed our stay.

We loved staying in this hotel since everything is bright, new, modern and comfortable! To be picky, the only thing we missed was a little outside area to sit but that is perhaps because we were spoilt with the last hotel we stayed where we had a balcony to sit after the kids went to bed. But everything is super clean, housekeeping service is great, and the rooms are fairly big. We also loved the breakfast (probably the best we have had so far in a motel/hotel setting in America). The choice was great and they also varied the menu so that we had bacon and eggs one morning, then hash browns and sausages the next. Also plenty of continental options such as a yoghurt machine and jams to add to it.

We stayed at this facility during our last night in California. This is a relatively new property and it certainly showed. The lobby was big and bright with contemporary décor, the staff extremely courteous and helpful, and the room itself was huge! There were two of us and we each had a king size bed which were very comfortable and the bathroom alone was larger than a recent hotel we stayed in. I really can't say enough about this property and would definitely stay there again if ever in the area a second time. We did not have time to see the breakfast as we left for the airport before it opened. If It was as good as the hotel itself it wouldn't have disappointed.

Apologies for the late review. Stayed here at the end of May with my wife and teenage daughter and cannot fault the hotel or staff in any way. Reception, Room Service and Breakfast Buffet staff were all very friendly, helpful and happy to share advice about where to shop and eat. Our room was, huge, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable, shower was hot and spacious. Well equipped gym, ice machine and laundry were all used most days, with no complaints. Area does not look the best from outside, but I walked to Tacobelle and the local convenience store most evenings and never felt uncomfortable or threatened at any time. Only a few minutes drive from a choice of restaurants and the freeway. Also convenient for LAX Airport. After 6 nights, we left Gardena to go to Vegas and stayed at a much fancier hotel, with more amenities, but it could not compete with the Best Western Gardena in terms of comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff or standard of breakfast. Hope to return to L.A. around the same time next year and this hotel will be our first choice.

Hotel is fairly new, convenient location if traveling to Downtown LA, LAX airport, nearby colleges, ports, etc. Great breakfast options! The only downside is even though I was on 3rd floor, the windows aren't insulated well enough that you can still hear alot of noise from the rooms. Bring earplugs if noise botjers you cause it's still a great value for the buck and I still highly recommend staying here.

The employees here are extremely nice and make sure you have a comfortable stay! The manager makes sure the customer is taken care of you can definitely see that's the number one priority here! I love it

We stayed here hoping it would be just as the reviewers said it was. We had a family of four adults , one toddler and a baby. We stayed in the two king suite on the third floor near the elevators. The hotel and rooms were very clean and trendy. Very impressed, minus the neighborhood as it's surrounded by auto shops and old run down buildings. But it is close to all the Korean and Vietnamese food. Couple blocks down and we felt safe.

Front desk staff is exceptional with customer service. Each room has a small side area with coffee table, sofa bed, fridge & microwave. Large size modern guest room & bathroom. Love their large size cafeteria on 2nd floor for breakfast. Very happy with my stay.

Super spacious king suite, modern line of furniture, huge flat screen TV, but the bathroom is even more impressive - again extra spacious and modern lighting, like a boutique hotel. The walk-in shower is fantastic. Seems like the entire hotel uses LED lighting, go energy-efficient lighting! The breakfast room is on the second floor, down the hall from a business meeting/training room, seems a bit unusual at first, but when I walked into the room, it was such a pleasant surprise - big, bright, colorful, with a mix of table options such as tables, booths, communal high tables (bar stools); very clean, modern, and friendly. Nice environment to enjoy a hot breakfast, and it's open til 10am even on a Monday, unusually late : )

I checked in on Monday 9/25/17 Well all I can say that the hotel it self had great rooms and good beds. I would like to warn anyone else that stays here to use a credit card not their personal debit card. I never in our plenty of stays at any best western or other hotels had a hold on our total stay of the room. That was not the problem what was that we had that hold for $288 plus when we checked in they put 2 other hold on account for each night $143x2. I told the clerk we had $140 in Best western cash so he did apply it to total so he did take hold off $288 but that took till 2 days 9/27/2017. So after next day I still had the 2 $143 plus the $147 charges for stay on my bank acct. I normally would just leave alone but I was in LA for wife's surgery and didnt plan on this or any extra expenses and she gave them our bank card and not Credit card. So I was not accounting for an extra $575 to be held for 3 days while I had other debits going thru my personal acct. After 3 day 9/28/17 I finally had my funds released by getting the manager to fax to my bank a form stating that I did not owe that money on the holds ,but by then I had my bank pay a couple of checks for $54 in bank fees. This was such a head ache I had to transfer money to my accounts from my credit cards for those days till my payroll check hit on Fri 9/29/2017 because I was told that a hold can take up to 5 to 7 days.I just got from manager is that its their policy to pre authorize total stay prior to stay and since I had gift cards then they had to pre authorize the different amount and they didn't mean to pre authorize it twice and did release hod for $288 but should take a couple days to see it in your bank they did hit my account for $147 and change also for the stay that was the total of stay. I can just say it was a mess for them to have this much power to acct. and then have little power to fix problem. I still didn't get how the $288 got released by 9/26 and the others 9/29 makes no since. Hope this helps anyone

We had one night stay in the area in between flights and chose this hotel based on the combination of price, location, and reviews. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It's not in the best of areas but we felt secure and safe. Everything is high tech - room keys activate your floor on elevator, the doors, etc. Even the privacy or room service option is electronic. Staff at front desk is friendly and check in and out easy. Room was perfect. HUGE rooms, large bathroom, great flat screen tv, fridge, microwave, Clean... just perfect. Bed was extremely comfortable, although the half size pillows were a bit strange. We had a great nights sleep. In the morning we went to the free breakfast which was in a beautiful area on the second floor and food was great with a large selection of hot and cold foods. Workout room next door also clean and nice. If we return to the LA area we will be staying here again!

I teach in South Gate and nearby locations multiple times a year and almost always stay at this hotel. Sometimes they will give me the Jacuzzi suite without my asking or paying extra but always the rooms are very clean, the hotel has a nice fresh look and smell, and the breakfast is the best of any Best Western I have ever stayed at. Although the area is rough, the hotel security is very good; the elevators have to be operated with a room key and the entrances are restricted to avoid riff-raff, of which there is plenty in the area. I feel safe here and have never had trouble though my car is full of expensive gear for my teaching job.

Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel is nice, room decor and layout, free parking and free breakfast that's something hotels don't offer anymore, location was perfect, close to downtown LA and the beach too. Will come back soon.

This Best Western is 2 years old but it still smells brand new and it was a very nice and clean facility. The staff was friendly and accommodating, this hotel is located in a convenient area. The maids and front desk clerks were nice.

The rooms were very clean, the whole hotel is a smart hotel so nobody can come in without a card, same on elevator. No smoking in every room so it doesn't smell. Very nice overall exceeded my expectations. Parking is also gated off. Felt safe

We only stayed one night as we arrived on a late flight and the next day we were heading to Palm Springs. Got an upgrade to a room with a spa bat but didn't use it. Nice large clean bedroom and good shower pressure. Free parking. Good breakfast with reasonable choice and even tried using the waffle maker.

Our son started going to college down near there, so your place was the center of his college and right off the freeway, excellent settings and priced right, can't say enough about the helpful staff, definitely give them a raise, will stay there again.

We have stayed here several times for business. Each time has been very accommodating and pleasant as a result of the place feeling and looking new. There is a sense of pride taken with the staff. They welcome you with a smile, make sure your needs are tended to and should you ask what there is to do... they'll set you up with a menu of attractions, restaurants to your liking. I do believe the hotel is relatively new, but it is maintained as if it just has opened.

We travel to the area once a month to visit family and have been staying at a motel down the street. We thought we'd give Best Western a try this time and we were unexpectedly surprised to find that this is a new facility. We will be making this our go-to hotel whenever we visit the area.

This best western plus is the best in the South bay area I know because I tried the one in Hawthorne or landale and this is way better by a mile it's bigger better and nicer staff both helpful and happy which is always a plus and I enjoy the large specious rooms ,comfortable bed nice clean bathroom n they have a far better breakfast which is included in your stay

This hotel is the best I've stayed in Los Angeles. It is very clean and staff is friendly and attentive. Wifi, gym, and hot breakfast is as good as it gets. There is a large selection of restaurants minutes down the road. Parking is no additional charge for the garage. You need a room key to activate the elevator to get to your floor! Feels safe.

This Best Western located in Gardena is the best! The hotel is new, very modern, huge television, and bed is so comfortable. I will stay with this hotel ever time I need to work in the area. Highly recommended. Will give this Hotel 4.5/5.

My family 2 adults and 3 children stayed for a couple of nights at the end of a holiday to US. On check into he staff were very welcoming and pleasant to discuss things to see and do in LA. The room had 2 queen beds + 1 pullout sofa bed. Although there was no bedding for the pullout in the room a quick.request to reception resulted in bedding being provided promptly. The pool although small is adequate to cool off and allow the kids to splash some excess energy away. Breakfast is on 2nd floor in moderately sized breakfast room and we were warned that as hotel was full they would be busy at peak times and recorded quieter breakfast times. We never had an issue finding seating for the 5 of us. Kids loved hot chocolate and the whipped cream available. Better selection than some of the other hotels we had used on our roadtrip. Of particular mention is the general manager Vishal. He went out of his way to give good recommendations for places to see in the evening santa Monica and Hollywood boulevard and gave detailed instructions on best parking locations and methods to get discounted parking ticket validation at Hollywood boulevard. Grabbed information leaflets and marked them up and recorded best time to leave hotel to miss worst of rush hour traffic although traffic is bad at most times in LA. Family enjoyed having a couple of days downtime prior to flying out from LAX which was only 15 mins from the hotel.

Stayed four nights with family. Check in was just about OK if you discount the two flippant men on reception. Room was spacious and well appointed. Was missing bedding for the pull out bed but asked at reception prior to going out for the evening, upon return still no bedding, took three more attempts to get items required from said men on reception. Not good when you have an over tired child to deal with. Breakfast was good if not busy which means you do have to wait for some items to be replenished. Pool was out of action for two days of our stay so did not use. Made the most of the self laundry service as we were on a three week road trip. Must say other members of staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Nice place. Very clean and great staff!!! Will definitely stay here again. They made everything easy from check in to check out. My daughter hated to leave. We stayed on the 2nd floor and that's were everything is located.

Very enjoyable stay. Staff at front desk were excellent from check in to check out and every day in between. All other staff were fantastic as well. Great breakfast offer.Rooms were very nice and clean. Response time for taxi or uber was speedy and plenty of parking onsite. Not the hotels fault ,but access to quality dining and grocery stores was difficult.

We enjoyed our stay at this best western. This is a very nice hotel, yet with the LA traffic it is far from everything except the airport. We would stay here again if it weren't so far from the popular tourist sites.

We arrived on Thursday afternoon after spending 2 hours in traffic the girls at front desk were amazing.They checked us in early without even batting an eye... Hotel is beyond clean and fresh and looks amazing. Girls check us in fast told us about hotel and sent us on our way to relax a lil.. Upon opening our door we were blown away at how big and beautiful our room was... Beds were comfy and big... Area around hotel is not ad horrible as I had expected by previous reviews... Jonathan the evening front desk man recommended an awesome resturaunt for dinner and margaritas about 1 mile from hotel.. Best Mexican food I've had in awhile....Back to hotel had a great nights rest and went to gym for a work out... 2 of every machine as well as the front desk has fitness bags which includes a yoga mat, weights and bands to workout in room if prefered...After that we enjoyed an very good breakfast, lots of choices and food was great... Gabriella and staff keeps everything stocked and dining room was beyond clean ..Gabriella remembered from check and told us to have a good day and Good Luck in court... Shows they do value there guests. Thank you for such an amazing stay for such a stressful time.... Only downfall to hotel are the pillows used to them being swuishy and comfy... But with all of the above and beyond it's a sacafrice we can make...

Had to get a room at this hotel after being tricked and robbed at travel lodge. The room was better than I expected... For the location, I was impressed!! Should have booked there from the beginning!!! Highly, highly recommended!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious, comfy. Breakfast room at times very busy but it was nice to start the day with something warm... the gym was small but functional, not too busy. The pool was small and the water was quite warm. Some beds for sunbathing. As a place to overnight only this hotel is really fine. We always made trips around by car, so for us this was a good option. I would not say that this is for holiday makers though. Quite far from the ocean and any train stop as well.

We booked a three day stay through booking.com - all smooth and they were expecting our party of 3 adults & 2 children (16 & 14) - we did fit in the room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. We'd just flown 12hrs+ and got hold of our rental car from LAX, so the hotel was just a short drive from there. We were ready for food and bed, so we greatly appreciated the slickness of check in. The Clerk was great - ultrahelpful and polite. The room was spotless and comfortable; well-equipped, and even had HBO, so we could keep up with GoT!! Rooms had 'fridge and coffee machine & we had inclusive breakfast. The breakfast was cereals, juice, coffee, and sausage/bacon/potato combo. Basic, but tasty and just right for the kind of hotel. The breakfast room could maybe do with being a little larger for the throughput it has. The receptionist showed us where to get food locally (usual chains a short drive away), but it's a drive rather than a walk. No bar. We used the hotel as a base to explore LA, Hollywood, etc, all of which are an easy drive away. There's a small outdoor pool which we didn't use. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for families on holiday.

We spent 5 nights here in August 2017. The neighborhood was not the best one, I must say. Gardena is basically closer to the beaches but far from the city center. In LA, you will need a car in any case. The hotel was clean. The room was bigger than I expected. They had a built-in tv which had almost all the channels. There was towels, hairdryer, monsoon shower, soap, hanger space, drawer space, an extra table for work etc. They also have a room service. The room smelled a little like -how do I say- humid. As if you left a wet towel or the carpet was left wet. The AC was really loud. They can definitely improve their AC. When you leave it to run automatically and it starts running in the middle of the night, you will wake up. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was all the reviews I read about their breakfast being awesome. And it was not. We almost always had to ask for missing things like tea, sugar etc. They serve this "egg" which I am not sure if they are eggs. I don't know if that's a common thing US, but those looked like more pancakes than eggs to me. I even took one and added syrup on, I was sure they were pancakes. Anyway, the eggs were so not cool. They had hot chocolate, tea, coffee, juice machines and a microwave. they also had this waffle machine where you can make your own waffles that you can eat with syrup, jam, nuts, cinnamon. There was also a yogurt machine where you can get some yogurt and toppings were strawberry jam, chocolate chips, cereal. Or you could have cereal for breakfast. They served hard boiled eggs in the fridge where you could also find whipped cream and butter. They had some cream cheese first day and the rest of our stay, they did not have it. I asked if I could get a small pack of cheese, I only got a one-word answer: No!. There was also couple of times where there was no yogurt left and we just had to wait for some time 'till they felt like refreshing it. Long story short, breakfast was a disappointment. The staff in the reception was pretty helpful. All in all, I can recommend the hotel but I would definitely try some other place than This hotel or Gardena in general.

I love this hotel, the amenities in each room like fridge, microwave, safe box, doorbell, huge king size bed on the doubles went beyond my expectations, the security was also a big plus for me and my family since you cant go up to your rooms if you don't have a key. so I give this hotel a from 0-10 a 10. excellent!!

As a newer hotel, it was clean and very modern. You would never guess it was a 3 star hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the staff in the breakfast lounge. The beds were pretty comfortable and I was able to have a good nights sleep. The continental breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast, but it was pretty convinient each morning. Overall this was a pretty good hotel and I would definitely recommend it.

new hotel. very clean property inside and outside. Area does not look appealing, but you are in an location where you can drive approximately 2 -3 miles to shopping and food establishments. No problems, would stay here again.

This hotel is best suited for families wanting to explore Southern California. We were there for six nights and were able to go to Universal Studios, Downtown museums in LA, Santa Monica Pier and park, Legoland, Long Beach museums and Knotts Berry parks. Breakfast is extensive in options and the rooms are very clean. Never had any problem with parking or using the pool etc. The location is not the greatest but the actual hotel and awesome staff makes up for it. Lots of restaurants close by including California Fish Grill. Gas station and mall within 5 min and most tourist attractions within 25-45 min even in bad traffic. Very pleasant and helpful staff who will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Marco at front desk is simply the most professional and ever smiling gentleman you have ever seen at a front desk but all others are very nice too. After tiring days of visiting so many attractions around this area for kids, it was always so nice to come back to a very clean room with the hotel folk welcoming you back every day with a smile, and then serving you hot breakfast every morning. Very comfortable and pleasant experience.

Most modern hotel I have stayed. Lobby personal are very friendly and helpful. Was there a few months ago and when I came back the personal remembered me and greeted me with a smile and handshake. Great place to stay!!

This hotel and staff were great during our stay. The surrounding areas around the hotel look "shady" but the hotel was safe and very clean. The breakfast was hot and staff was on hand to immediately assist or refill all items sufficiently.

Overall nice facility. The location is good if you have a car as it's close to LAX as well as the beaches. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast and parking. Options for breakfast are limited if you are a vegetarian but otherwise, it is decent. Would recommend if you are visiting LA and want a place close to the beach

Love the appearance inside and out. Rooms were clean appropriately. Breakfast was very good. I booked for queen beds and they were more on the full size also the mattress kind of hard but other than that a good place to stay.

read so many nice reviews and that's the reason why I got this high rated hotel, but the room as soon we got in, noticed a lot of damaged to the room, and it seems to be a very new hotel, notified front desk and their excused was, oh we know, but why should I paid for a beat up room, again had very high expectation base on reviews but I'm very disappointed, rooms were very comfortable, rooms were spacious, very quiet, not very safe area to walk everything closes early, wonder why..... some front desk rep were nice and some were rude, very inconvenient to have the room key for "everything" even to get to the elevator, wonder why......

This is a great hotel but the area is definitely not great. Once you are in, the hotel is amazing in terms of value. Huge room. Renovated interior. Friendly staff. Free breakfast (not that great, but free). Free parking and wifi. It has a lot to offer, it's just in an area that you probably want to avoid. For business, it was what I needed.

Very Spacious the bed was comfortable, we had great tv channels. The spa jacuzzi was Awesome! Breakfast had great selections and the staff was very friendly! Marco at checkout was very nice! Overall stay was Wonderful! The hotel was close to all of the beaches and The staff just made our stay Wonderful! We will definently be back again!!

Nice hotel in a fair neighborhood. Always a long (at least 30 min)stop and go commute to LA. I would not rate it awesome as some did, staff was friendly and breakfast was ok. Price as always too expensive for what you get compared to Europe

Great place, fairly new with good beds and free wifi, I found it one time and have been coming back because I can not find anything better in LA. Not a vacation area but great when passing through and in need of a quality place to spend the night.

The hotel was lovely, the staff friendly, the room massive, clean, tidy and well appointed. Unfortunately we had hoped to use the pool when we arrived but it was mid afternoon and the sun had vanished from it :( would have been better on the other side of the hotel but then the view would have been the strip club next door so maybe not!! The location was not ideal, there was lots of strange people hanging about and I was pleased we were able to park under the hotel. The parking was free and the room reasonably priced and just a 10 minute drive away we found a good place for food. I wouldn't stay here if you don't have a car or frighten easily! Breakfast was lovely - loved the waffle machine (as a UK traveler I had never seen one of these before!) Overall the hotel was perfect and if this review was based solely on the hotel I'd give it 5 stars but the location was not good and that plays a big part to me in my stays and I wouldn't stay here again because of the location.

The only thing I didn't like was the damage hold/security deposit they put on your card at check in and it was a little pricy. Great security, great room and great guest service. I would stay again at this location.

Arrived as a group of 9 and was checked in swiftly by a nice staff member. The two rooms we got were very nice, and the sleep comfort very good. We also used the pool facilities - the pool is ok but some of the seating area is crammed up against fans that are very noisy, so stay by seating next to the entrance if you can. The breakfast was very good, although I wished they had a bit more to choose from when it comes to jelly. There seemed to be only grape jelly most of the time. Not sure why, but they didn´t have bacon each morning either. Otherwise everything was good, and the staff was onsite to fill up empty trays etc. We all had a good time staying here, and would recommend it if you need a nice hotel

Wow. When I stay in budget-friendly hotels, I do not expect the level of service, amenities, etc. that this hotel offered. It was safe and secure, the front desk was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast in the morning was even great. The beds were super comfy, and the bathroom was huge, which was good considering we were traveling with our adult-aged girls. We were at LAX in about 20 minutes, and this was the most affordable place near the airport we could find that didn't scare me away with the reviews. Kudos to the staff here. We will definitely be back.

This is our go to hotel when we stay in L.A. It is close to family and not too bad of a drive to Universal and Disneyland. It's decent priced especially compared to other L.A. hotels. This stay was much busier than others since it was in the summer. Since it was busier, breakfast dwindled quickly and we got there late so didn't have many choices. However, that was our fault and not the hotel's. Pillows were a little lumpy this time so we will be bringing our own next time. Overall, this is a pretty great hotel and our home away from home.

Breakfast was not great but at least one was offered. Building in good shape for the area that you stay in. Covered parking was nice if you could get a spot inside. Staff were friendly and the rooms were small but clean. Beds are stiff but manageable.

I found this Hotel, since I had to save some money on my business trip. Many other attendees of the same convention used the same Hotel, even its quite far away from the L.A. convention center (approx 20 miles). Combination of rental car and this Hotel is cheaper than most of the Hotels in downtown L.A. for one week. Public transportation is not so good, but also an option. The area where this Hotel is located might be confusing to European, but you should free your mind and just talk to the people. Even if the area is not really nice the people are. The Hotel itself is pretty good. The rooms are big, beds are good and the bathroom was cleaned every day. It also gave the impression of being not so old. Outside was enough parking space plus a small garage, which was occupied pretty early in the evening. A very small pool in front was not so nice, since it looked like being a part of the parking area before... The breakfast room on the 2nd floor was the only negative aspect of the Hotel. It was very small with not enough seats for all the guests. This didn't matter since had breakfast almost every day at the convention. You can find several shops (even a small one close to the reception) and restaurants (Taco Bell and Burger King) close to the Hotel or you drive 5-10 minutes to the next shopping center. The employees are all very friendly and helpful.

I love staying here. The hotel is very clean, parking is not just convenient but FREE too. The staff is pretty accommodating. Only had one bad experience. Last weekend the Jacuzzi tub jets in the room weren't working. That was a downer. I called the front desk to report it, but all they could say was sorry.

Restroom was not clean, missing soap and towels, bathtub was dirty, toilet paper missing. I had to call room service to get it the way it was supposed to be prior to checking in. The next days at the hotel were ok, they still managed to forget to replace some towels.

The front desk staff's good nature, pleasant and attentive attitude are a few of the reasons I stay here when I am in LA for business reasons (pretty much a couple of days a week) for over a year now.

I traveled with 6 people, 3 adults and 3 kids and stayed in the double king room with a sofa bed. The room was spacious enough and had a refrigerator and microwave. Noise was not an issue. You can hear doors opening from other rooms. Didn't use the pool but it was open till 10 and heated. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, potatoes, breads, oatmeal, sausage, cereals, waffles, fruit and juice. Wifi was fast and worked great. Only complaints: open window in room. Didn't realize that till the next morning. No bedding stocked in room for sofa bed. Sheets brought to us had a stain. You are charged $10 for more than two adults. Location: location is not great but it's convenient to gas, food, freeway. Seemed to be a secure property.

Good customer services, price was not bad, I will definitely come back. I enjoyed my stay at this best western location I stayed in a spa room or jacuzzi room and it was great I enjoyed it a lot the employees were nice and there for your needs.

The hotel is clean, new, and quite secured considering the neighborhood. The surrounding is not a bad neighborhood, just more empty and dark at night. There is an asian restaurants plaza just 2 mins down the street so that's very convenient. Otherwise, good access to freeways as well, so would recommend as a good value hotel for travelers exploring the city.

This is the best hotel in the Best Western chain that we have visited. It had all the facilities you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable; from a laundry room on every floor to a swimming pool. The fitness room on the second floor had all the machinery and equipment you would need for a full hotel workout. The rooms were of ample size with a walk-in shower as opposed to a bath. shower was great, plentiful towels. Service from reception was second to none. We didn't have time to sample the breakfast but the breakfast room was set up really well. We would definitely recommend this hotel. There are no restaurants within walking distance but there is a limited 24-hour delivery service available.

Me my mom and my daughter shared a queen suite and it was perfect - the rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, a separate sitting area, and the bathroom is like a spa - a walk in shower!! Loved it!

The hotel rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Loved the size of the bathroom. My family of five stayed in a double-king room with a sofabed, and it was very comfortable. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast, but it was mediocre. The outdoor pool is small, but my children loved it. Overall, a very nice stay.

The place is really clean, nice decor and friendly staff. The location to highways and not to far from tourist sites. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. The breakfast was ok and saved us time.

Best Western Plus in Gardena Ca, one of the best hotel we stay at in a long time.The room and lobby are very clean and the staff was pleasant. I like the security systems. I will be staying there again. I give it five star.

Family holiday with 2 kids. Lovely modern hotel, clean, tidy, very good size room with 2 double beds, nice clean bathroom with big shower, easy/free/on-site parking. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Tiny pool in the car park, but it was clean and tidy with seating and towels. Good buffet breakfast included with hot and continental options. DIY waffle maker that the kids loved using. Small fitness center with a few machines, it was clean and looked ok. Location was a bit sketchy! Strip club next door and adult video shop around the corner, but we didn't see any dubious characters loitering around. Exhaust/muffler garage over the road which was a bit noisy when the windows were open, but a good A/C meant that we kept the windows shut and avoided the noise. Taco Bell on the corner, which was handy and a small grocery store next door meant that we didn't have to travel too far for any small items. Quite a distance from the main LA attractions so a car is essential, but a good choice for a base away from the crazies!

The room was nice and clean (as was the whole hotel & grounds), the beds very comfortable, and the staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous. The free breakfast was good and a nice perk. A couple of small negatives was that there were no vending machines or ice machine on our floor (on every other floor?) so we had to go down one to get ice or a soft drink and also this hotel has the small square pillows instead of regular sized pillows. Other than that I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

The staff was always available to help. I receie lots of packages from Amazon almost everyday. We ordered food from uber eats. We asked for a baby crib. They always helped us friendly. Also it next to the airport. The only low point is traffic from Gardena to downtown LA...

Hello all, I stayed at this hotel again and definitely no complaints on my overall experience, as it's very clean, comfortable, rooms are very nice, staff is great and the breakfast buffet was good too. My only issue on this trip, was I requested a wake up call however, did not receive it. I ended up missing my flight-had to re-book which caused unnecessary frustration. While in a somewhat seedy neighborhood, location was convenient to us. The hotel is a new construction, therefore clean and well organized. Soundproofing between adjacent rooms and hallway isn't great, however. Rooms are nice and large and good-looking, like you would find in much more expensive hotels. Some details however show where money was saved: the bathtub lining is some sort of imitation tile made of plastic. Beds were a bit too hard for me, but my wife liked them. Breakfast was quite good in a large, bright room on the second floor. We spent only one night so I can't comment on the quality of housekeeping. Our room was very clean. Suggestions for improvements: - the lighting in the room is very "cold". Choosing warner lights would improve the feeling in the room - it's very irritating to have to use the room key to operate the elevators

Everything was great! Clean, modern, comfortable, and great staff!!! The Gm was really cool. Even saw him vacuuming helping out!. Area was kinda far and not much food real close but overall great experience and I wish there was one in every city that I go to!!

Stayed here for 2 night recently as was heading to vagas. Hotel looks great inside and out Staff service good overall Room really nice and large with sitting area and safe and fridge. Beds really comfy. Bathroom looked great as well. Overall good choice if staying around this area.

the staff were very friendly and efficient, they worked together to make my check-in process fast and easy. The room was dirty, the bed covers were stained and there were crums on the furniture and remote.

Don't let the "looks scary" reviews well scary you. Do your research. Check crime maps if you're that concerned before booking. This place was nothing but excellent! We stayed for 4 nights & 3 of those nights we came in late around 11pm-midnight & never saw any of these "Seedy" characters others have mentioned in their reviews. Never even saw them when we drove anywhere near the area, we saw more in Hollywood than here. Safety was a big issue being we were two young women traveling together, but like I said, we never felt unsafe while we were here. Hotel access after a certain time requires a room keycard to open the doors, and you can't use the elevator except to the lobby floor without a room keycard as well. The hotel is great! Clean, modern. Staff is excellent & lovely, very friendly.. They even offered a room upgrade free of charge which was really nice of them. Standard complimentary hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, muffins/bagels/toast/etc, waffles. Comfy bed & pillows which was so nice & I'm even missing now that I'm home, haha. The location of the hotel to places is actually really good too. Most places we went were only 30-45 mins away, Disney, Downtown La, Studio City. Santa Monica was a little bit more but that was mostly traffic. There's also a bunch of stores nearby just down Rosecrans Ave in Manhattan Beach like Target, Walmart and grocery stores like Whole Foods & Trader Joe's. CVS, Starbucks.

This hotel is located in a seedy and extremely off putting neighborhood, surrounded by "massage parlors" and other similar businesses. When we pulled into the parking lot, there were two obvious prostitutes and a gay couple kissing and undressing each other. My girl friend looked at me and said she would not stay in such a place. We walked into the lobby and explained the situation to the person at the desk, who said he did not have authority to process a cancellation but would have the manager call us. No call was ever received despite our making two calls and leaving messages for the manager. The hotel has charged us a cancellation charge, which we will dispute with our credit card company. Don't make the same mistake and book a room with this hotel. You will be sorry

We stayed one night. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The bed was firm and the pillows soft. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had more than the typical continental breakfast. The parking lot was well lit and there was plenty of parking on a Friday night.

Stayed here during our first trip to LA. For the price, this place offers great value. Modern rooms, decent breakfast and great service. Our first room had an odor in the washroom and upon letting the front desk know, they promptly changed us to a newer room. Such service is always appreciated. The neighborhood isn't very exciting, but we knew that before selecting this hotel. It is however, the best hotel in this neighborhood of Gardena. Santa Monica is 25mins drive from here. And free parking helps!

I stayed here for 3 nights and I can honestly say, this hotel really surprised me! I'm guessing it's newly built and that could be told by how clean it was! The rooms were so spacious, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was a very decent size with all the necessities. The colour scheme of the room was very good setting a very nice scene. The corridors to the room were very wide and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I don't use room service when travelling but always have a look at the menu, and I must say, this was one of the most reasonably priced menus I have ever seen. There is a fridge and microwave oven in the room with complimentary coffee and a coffee maker. But no complimentary water. There is free breakfast which has all the basics with some fresh pastries and bagels. There's is also an option to cook your own fresh waffle. There is also a gym with the basic equipment. The car park at the hotel is free which was good. If I had to pick a negative, there would only be one and that would be the location. It's a little way away from all the Los Angeles attractions. We hired a car so it wasn't too bad, but if you don't have a car and want to do the attractions it can be quite hard and costly. Apart from that there were no problems at all, I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Even though this hotel is not in an upscale surrounding, we were very happy with the hotel itself and felt it was the. Eat one we stayed in on our 8 day vacation. Modern secure features - very comfortable room and satisfying breakfast. Staff was personable and helpful.

Overall experience was great, the appearance when i first drove down the street was sketchy but once you get in to the lobby it was really nice. The staff was very helpful and te room was excellent. Location was sketchy because of the area outside but I didn't have any problems with anyone. I drove to a restaurant for dinner which was easy and there are plenty of places to choose from. I will stay there again any time.

Nice quiet place (except for some guests during the third night). Reasonable priced and not too far from LAX. Rooms, and bathroom as wel,l are spacious, clean and up to date. Breakfast is good, basically hotel standard fare but well done. They should put towels into the gym though. Beds are great, finally a place with some decent firm mattresses.

My stay in Gardena Best Western for the last four months on business has been oiustanding. When you are away frrom your family the people at this hotel relize this and make your stay so comfortable it just helps because you are already away from the people you love.

This was my first time staying at the Best Western in Gardena, I loved it. It's a new hotel so it has all the modern conveniences, the breakfast is excellent I'm used to just cold cereal and waffles, here you can actually make breakfast sandwiches, I am a tea drinker and they had various flavors, also you can grab a cup of tea anytime during the day in the lobby. The showers are the best and the beds are comfortable, I could go on and on about this location. I usually stay at Staybridge in Torrance but they have lost a client, from now on I will book at this hotel.

Can't fault the hotel. It's new and everything works. The breakfast is ok and the staff helpful. My only complaint is it's not in a great area if you are thinking of walking anywhere. There is s strip club next door and a adult movie show just around the corner. If you have a car there is good parking and security is high. A good option and much cheaper that hotels around the airport

The location seems to be close enough to the airport to get there in about 15 minutes (we drove it at 5a so maybe anticipate traffic), but it does seem to be off the beaten path a bit. The parking was nice. There is a garage with what seems like small spaces, be be cautious if you are in a large vehicle. There is also secure outdoor parking. We didn't use the gym or the pool, but both looked nice. It is a new hotel, but oddly enough, the bathroom door was starting to rust a bit around edges. The beds were a bit firm, but I account that to being new. Breakfast was great but it gets busy quick, so try to hit it at 7a when it first opens. Customer service was great at check-in. Check out was the overnight guy, who seemed a little out of his element. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this place for families.

My husband and I visited the LA area in October 2016 and stayed 2 nights at this hotel. While driving to it from airport we noticed the neighborhood seemed shady and hoped it got better. Well this hotel is a crown jewel in the middle of what seems to be a somewhat questionable neighborhood. You wouldn't want to take a stroll or walk to a store at night and maybe even the day. But once you're inside hotel the security is excellent and the room is one of the best I've stayed. Nice big tv. Very nice comfortable bed. The bathroom is very very nice. They spared no expense on the furnishings. Very comfortable. And a breakfast was offered in the morning. The breakfast offered everything you could possibly desire. Certainly the best breakfast included in the motel price I've ever had. It was amazing how great this motel was. Other than the surroundings I would stay here every time I came to the LA area.

Location is near by downtown about 25 mins without traffic jam, but free parking was very convenience. The decoration of room is modern and feel comfortable, also have a beautiful view for sunrise. Bed was cozy for me , not to hard not to soft. But the shower was unmovable kind a little trouble for me. Breakfast is simply also got a little change everyday.

Stayed 13 nights September/October this year. Arrived late and quick check in. Room as described and shown in photos. Bed comfortable and everything we needed in room - fridge, m/wave, coffee machine etc. Breakfast included - good choice and nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel in good location for sightseeing etc - area does not look good but we had no problems, it was near to everything and we had a rental car. Safe and free parking on site. A couple of problems we had were dealt with quickly and no fuss. Very good customer service. Chose this hotel because of price and the very good standard of accommodation which was provided. Would have paid twice as much for basic hotel in a more 'desirable' area. However after seeing the 'desirable' areas i.e. Venice beach etc was glad we chose Gardena. Would stay again and highly recommend.

I went selected this hotel because I had business in the area. At arrival, I was surprised to see that the hotel's appearance was exactly as it was in the professional pictures. Lobby and surrounding areas were nicely appointed, neat and clean. The staff at check-in was very friendly and accommodating, and the check-in process was easy. After taking the elevator to the second floor, I exited the elevator and once again, I was surprised to find a very clean hallway and a very clean room awaiting me. My stay the hotel was very nice in most areas however, the one complaint that I have is that the same care that was shown at check-in and in the room preparation should be given to the breakfast. In my opinion, the breakfast was lacking... as a matter of fact, on the second day of my stay, after viewing the breakfast items, I skipped breakfast.. I would highly recommend this hotel to business travelers as well as families that want a nice, yet affordable hotel stay in the Gardena area.

Hotel was great. Used them now on several occasions. Always received the best customer service, especially from Jessica and Steven. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking felt very secure. The neighborhood isn't Beverly Hills, so it'd you want that look else where...but I felt completely safe and comfortable at the hotel.

Does not get any newer than this hotel. I work at a Best Western hotel in the West Side of Los Angeles and I wish my hotel had all the things this place has. I first stayed here for my girlfriends B-day back in august and met the GM. Very knowledgeable, attentive, and involved in the business. We enjoyed our one night stay before leaving for Sea World so much that we have made a return visit and plan to visit it often when we need a place to relax. We always get the Jacuzzi suite, room is spacious, quiet, and everything you need such as Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer, iron, etc. The bathroom is very spacious and love the sliding glass doors rather than shower curtains. What I like is the No need to hang do not disturb signs or housekeeping signs outside your door, it all done with a simple touch of a button. Well this is one of the things I had at the hotel where I work at. I can not comment on the breakfast because I have not had time to try it but I am sure it is outstanding. The staff is really friendly and although the hotel has been open for under a year I noticed they have built a good relationship with frequent guests. If you are looking for a hotel close to LAX I know there is a lot of options but this hotel although a bit further than others is well worth it. I will recommend to travelers and direct guests over when the hotel I work at is full. See you guys soon and keep up the great work.

I recently stayed there for a couple of weeks. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms looked recently renovated and the furniture was in very good shape. There was also a guest laundry facility which was very practical and allowed me to get my clothes cleaned at a very reasonable price. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to modify the breakfast hours. 7 AM start time is a bit late for people who wants to get going in the morning to beat the traffic to LA. Regardless, I was very pleased with the service I have received during my stay.

This hotel seems new and is nice and clean. The staff has been super friendly each time. Breakfast fare is standard continental. Neighborhood surrounding area does not have much to walk to but the Vietnamese restaurant across the street is decent and convenience store next door has everything you need to get through the night.. Drive thru Starbucks nearby. Garage parking is very nice, well lit and secure but limited spaces.

Where else can you get a huge, clean room in LA at a reasonable price that includes free breakfast, parking and WiFi. This is really a gem of a hotel. I stayed for 8 nights and it was an amazing stay. The staff at this hotel are really kind and helpful. If the manager is reading this, they seriously need to give Jonathan a promotion. He is an exceptional employee who made us feel at home. We looked forward to passing by the desk late at night and early in the morning to see him. One thing that could be improved is to make breakfast start at 6 or 6:30, rather than 7. The location a tad further away from LA than ideal, but it is such a great hotel that we didn't mind the extra 10-15 mins or so of driving each day to get to it. Keep up the great work!

In short-it's worth the money and looks just like the photos the hotel posted. We had the King suite; huge bed, lots of pillows, comfy, big screen tv, black out curtains, mini couch (living room area), cool wall pictures, good ac, fridge, microwave, radio, view. Nice bright bathroom; lots of towels, hairdryer, toiletries. Floor l believe is laminate material which can be slippery so use the floor towels. (Was fine) Rooms have good security as does elevator/hotel overall. Family and couple oriented, which is great. No funny smells either-very clean! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable staff that made check in/out great. They tell you about the amenities (breakfast buffet, gym, laundry avail.) Real helpful! Cleaning staff very nice too, pleasant atmosphere. Coffee/tea available in the lobby for guests and a small area by the check in to buy chips, drinks, small snacks. Also an ATM. Uber from LAX was $18- USD took about 25 minutes. The parking lot can only be accessed from one entrance; no issues on space though. It's beside a small gentleman's club (looks like a hole in the wall) but no problems that l noticed. Also nearby is 7/11 store, couple fast food restaurants, bus-transit within 10minutes walking distance. Uber to the Ralphs grocery, shopping malls was approx. $8- USD. Definitely will stay again; it was nice to finally find a great place to relax! We will be back!

This hotel was centrally located from a lot of locations that we were visiting this past week. It was 20-30 minutes on average from Disneyland, universal studios, LAX and the beaches. The staff were helpful when we asked where some good restaurants were and always made sure we were comfortable during our stay. The hotel was updated and clean and the brunch style breakfast was delicious. Couldn't say enough about this hotel.

This hotel is incredibly nice!!! Super clean, crazy upscale interior of hotel. Super nice rooms, fantastic amenities and the staff is very, very nice and helpful. The only knock on this place is the location. It's not the greatest neighborhood, however, the hotel is very safe with security cameras everywhere. This hotel is only six months old and Best Western spent a lot of money on this place. It is amazing!!

This hotel is not in the best neighborhood, however, if you are looking for an affordable, clean place to stay, this is it. I was blown away at how upscale, nice and clean EVERYTHING was!! The hotel, at the time of this review, is only six months old so it even has the 'new hotel smell'. The staff is very helpful and very nice. The internet is secure and fast. The rooms are amazing! I just kept thinking why they made this hotel so awesome and put it in this neighborhood. I really hope it stays this way and the customers don't trash this place. It is truly a hidden gem!! I was on business so I didn't care about the neighborhood and the hotel had a million security cameras and excellent security. This hotel was very surprising, in deed!

Beds are comfortable, rooms are good sized, secure features for the area that isn't the best. Staff was great and breakfast was on par with a Hampton Inn with the usual items. Business center PC's are new and the workout room is well appointed.

My family and I enjoyed every minute in this hotel. Everything is nice and clean. Employers are friendly and helpful. The only downside was the weed smell coming out from one of the rooms while we were walking from the elevator to the room on our first night.

Prices in downtown LA are often very high for nice hotels. This one is a beautiful modern hotel with great decor and classy rooms at a price my manager doesn't complain about. The area is probably seedy as there are safety precautions everywhere, as in an elevator operated with the room key, stairwells that don't connect to the hallways and exit externally only, and a parking garage with a closed entrance on the street side. But the hotel itself feels very safe. This is my second stay here and I will stay here again.

Nice hotel. Staff very helpful and extremely polite. I used one of the apps to book hotel about 15 mins to check in time. Average price $110. You will need keys to get navigate elevator,open room and gain access in to hotel. So great security if you ask me. 24hr Gym, breakfast provided . Location is perfect about 15mins from Beverly hills, Hollywood boulevard. Average sized swimming pool. Rooms are huge and well equipped with Fridge,Laundry service etc. Good price for the Hollywood touring experience I had. Will definitely come here again.

A modern hotel with its own parking. A very nice clean room. Breakfastbuffet is simple but ok. Staff is very friendly. The pool has not much privacy because of parking. We liked also the businesscorner with use of the computer/printer and the coffee/tea facility. The atm in the lobby we find also very handy (this is not a common thing at the Netherlands).

I enjoyed the size of the room, it was equipped with a mini refrigerator and microwave. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. In addition, the parking structure is locked at 9pm and everyone must use their hotel card to enter, use the elevator, etc. so I felt very safe. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in LA without being in LA,.. it's in the middle of many attractions.!! Centered between Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Universal Studios, Hollywood, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, Medieval Times and LAX. I frequent Los Angeles and Orange Counties and will be looking forward to staying here again.

My family and I came to stay for only 2 night! at first we didn't know how it was inside, when we went up to our room, we were surprised by the cleanness, freshness, everything new, the bed, the curtain, the blanket, the towels, the furniture, the big screen TV,, a huge room, and so on... We've been in so many other hotels in the past, including a few other Best Western Plus. But this one, is a 100% better than anyone we've been before. The Breakfast is included and is a buffet, excellent breakfast! The building is secured. You need your room key to take the elevator, to enter your room, or to enter inside the Gym. And outside each rooms, there is a bell button with light, and Inside the room, there is a different switch with lights that indicates if you need room service or not, and instead of hanging a do not disturb sign, they have electronic light, that does it for you. They have computer area, free internet, copy machine, and fax... In the lobby, there are 3,4, screen TV that you can sit and watch while drinking a coffee... They have, 24 hr. hot coffee and Tea. basically, They have everything you need. We definitely coming back to this hotel! I will definitely send my family and friends to this hotel. I also recommend to anyone who is out there doubting... to first go and see it for yourself, I guarantee, you'l be satisfied like us. The Manager and the whole staff are very nice. Well, after our first night... we end up extending it for 5 more nights.

From outside, I wanted to change hotel!! Those were my words to my partner until I came in and was welcomed so nicely by the staff there! Especially one employee in particular who was excellent and helpful!! Rooms are simply fantastic, all renewed and clean!! Breakfast has all it needs and the sport room was great!!! If I had to come back, I would without hesitation! Thanks to the staff who made the difference, it become rare to have devoted staff as such!!

We stayed 2 nights for pleasure and the accommodation was excellent with a free breakfast. The kitchen staff were very nice and we never ran out of food. The parking area is very safe. We get the news paper at the lobby counter in the morning. The internet was fast and without issues. The gym was very clean and had everything we need to exercise 24 hours a day. The only drawback is that the stairs are only for emergencies, I used it to go down a floor but had to go all the way out as we cannot reenter a floor down for safety reason.

I have been staying in this hotel three to four nights a week these last five months every time I am in LA for a business trip. The service from the staff (Jonathan, Raymond, Steven and the rest of the front desk staff) is one of the reasons I keep coming back.

Great staff, clean rooms and comfy bed. I definitely recommend this hotel especially if you can't afford to be close to the beach. The staff at the front desk seem and kind and genuine. The surrounding area is not that great but it still not far from LA attractions.

We were staying for the flight layover. 15 minutes drive from the airport as a big advantage. Very positively surprised of the hotel conditions, cleanliness and service. Brand new hotel (& rebranded) that launched a lot of improvements (sterile TV remote?!). If you like korean (any other asian) food, you'll be satisfied as per the great selection of restaurants in the neighbourhood.

After a long day of driving from Las Vegas, it was nice to check into this Best Western. I think that all Best Westerns have tried to improve on their hotels, and this one did a fantastic job! The hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and comfortable. We spent 3 nights here, and it was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our long 10 day trip. The only complaint was the size of the breakfast room. While the room was large, they had very few tables for guest. We spent one day perched on shelving on the side of the room. The next day was on a couch. They definitely need to add seating! The area that the hotel was in looked a bit sketchy, but it was quiet. I would stay here again. It was nice to have a central location to the beach and LA area, and so close to the airport.

This hotel is surprisingly modern and very very clean. Staff was excellent and went out of their way to meet my every need. I'm very particular and always have special request and they met my every need with a smile on their face. If you choose this hotel you will be very pleased with everything. I actually work in Gardena and practically 3 min walk from my job to the hotel. Which is why I picked this location. The hotel is pretty amazing. My son loved the pool and wants to come back just because. The room was pretty spacious and very nice. We were fumigating our home which is why we needed a hotel. But who knows, might just come hang out for the heck of it. Will recommend to the coworkers as well. They usually need hotel stay when we do our Christmas party.

The hotel is in a little place called Gardenia which is close to all major highways. It is surrounded by a mix of industrial, retail, and residential areas, which really doesn't matter very much, because you're out and about all the time. We had the privilege of staying there for 14 days. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the rooms are nice. Outdoor pool is small and lacks shade, however; very good value for your money. You won't be disappointed!!

I loved this hotel and I will be sure to stay here next trip to Cali! The hotel has Excellent customer service. Ray was amazing and helped expedite our check in. I loved the size of the room. We had plenty of space with 2 king size beds for our week stay. Rooms came with a microwave, refrigerator, safe, flat screen TV, and a large bathroom. Breakfast was also provided, they had many options for you to chose from (hot and cold).

Top notch facility with a modern LOFT or Courtyard feel. Staff are hyper helpful and diligent. Location is central to the South Bay, convenient to Stubhub Center and LAX. Neighborhood is in transition but property security is excellent. Breakfast service is above average.

I didn't expect much from a Best Western, but this branch blew me away. It was clean and ultra modern. Included amongst the amenities are a laundry room, fitness center and a parking garage ( limited space ). They have outdoor parking as well but the spaces are on the small side, more on the compact car size. Lobby was clean and business center is located in this area with complimentary coffee/tea. They also have a pool, it's on the tiny side but being in this location I doubt you'll spend your time just wandering around the grounds. Check in: Front desk rep was friendly and quick. Also if you arrive in the evening, the only way to get in and out of the entrances is via room keycard. If you are checking in late don't worry front desk is 24 hours. Your room keycard gives you access to the building and elevators. You eill need it throughout the building. I think this a logical security feature as the neighborhood at this location appears to be kinda sketchy. Room: Super spacious and did not expect it to be. 2 king..yes king size beds plus a sofa bed with ample space left over. Big flat screen atleast 42 in. samsung. Restroom is also spacious and modern. Rainfall shower head but not rainfall setup. Room includes small coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, in-room safe and desk. View from room overlooks street. There is also free breakfast which today included bacon, eggs, pastries, toast, both hot and cold beverages, waffle (maker), etc etc. The 2nd floor is where you gain access to most of the amenities (fitness room, breakfast room, laundry facility/ did not see vending). Check out rep was equally kind and professional. Overall, this Best Western (plus) exceeded my expectations. The location is kinda close to the airport and downtown ( better if you take the streets rather hwy to avoid heavy traffic). All the staff here were very friendly. This Best Western is of hotel caliber. Even better than some other 3 to 4 star competitors. Also just be aware that since its new you can still smell the fumes from the "new'ness" of the place.

The hotel is new and well done, but the toxic fumes of the furniture made me so sick I could barely get out of bed in the morning. I felt so sick. As soon as I was 10 minutes out of the hotel, I felt better. I later tried speaking to the manager, but they never retuned my phone calls. I also complained to my credit card company, but the manager disputed my complaint and refused to give me a refund. The location is scary. It's very dark and most buildings nearby are boarded up. There's a Burger King across the street that is fenced in - like a cage! It looks like San Quentin prison. My teenage daughter and I had to drive at least 20minutes just to find a "decent" place to eat. It was actually very scary driving around at night. I feel bad giving such a terrible review because I hope that this hotel helps turn the neighborhood around. However, I think that people should be aware of the location. I hope that the smell has subsided.

May not be not fair to rate a hotel by the neighborhood. We had made reservations to stay in our way to Los Angeles and when we arrived we did not feel comfortable with the neighborhood and we left, we picked another hotel. We did not see the rooms, only the lobby and it looked nice, new.

Hotel and staff are wonderful. We checked in late and wanted to get something to eat that was close and fast. Ramon and Jlujano were wonderful, they gave us the name of several places and gave directions. The hotel lobby and rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable. They have a hot breakfast that was very surprising with the variety and quality. Would stay there again.

I loved the hotel. The price was right and the area is pretty good. Check in was nice and easy. The staff was great. All of them were nice and friendly. The first night we were on the second floor and asked to be moved to a higher floor because of the noise of the people going into the breakfast room. I was quickly switched to another room. The lobby is very nice, spacious and modern. The room we stood in king suite, was awesome. Very clean, roomy and nicely decorated. Its a new hotel, you can smell the new. House keeping was on point. Very happy with how clean the room was. Good job ladies! Overall, my stay was great. I was there 9 days. I only have 1 suggestion for the property, which is to get more tables/chairs for the breakfast room. It was always packed. I must say, people can be very unconsiderate. They know very well theres not enough space, they eat and eat and eat and stay forever, while people wait or eat standing. I saw this every day i was there. Why cant people eat and just leave so others can eat sitting down? It was very bothersome. The last day we ended up just taking our food to our room, it was just a mess of people. Breakfast was fine. Eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage. Waffles makers, cereal and an awesome coffee machine. You can serve yourself hot milk, cafe con leche and a great expresso. Great machine!!! There was also pastries, bread and hot chocolate machine. They also have oatmeal and a real yogurt dispencer. Loved the yogurt, took a cup to go every morning. The ladies that keep up the breakfast room, work really hard to keep it clean. Again people can be so inconsidarate. Clean up after yourself. They did a great job keeping up the space. The greeted us with a big smile and conversated with us every day. Parking is ok. The later you get to the hotel, the less space you will find, but we were able to park with no problem. I had a fantastic time here and i will be back when in LA. Oh, it also has a small outdoor pool, didnt use it, but it was clean.

Excellent stay, the rooms are super clean they smell fresh. Everything is brand new inside the hotel. Very friendly staff from the reception to the housekeepers. Their personnel is always making sure your stay pleasant taking care of the most minimum detail. My kids and I loved their breakfast and the breakfast area as well.

Love this hotel. Big, quiet room and very good bed for good sleep. The bathroom with shower was better for a hotelroom than a bathtub. Everything was fresh and clean. Hot breakfast, nice to start the day with. One of the best thing is the machine to fill up water bottle -both in fitness and breakfastroom. After a two week roadtrip, and big amount of water bottles, this was much appreciated. Good security to prevent outsider from going up to guests rooms. In room safe with rather good size. Polite,friendly, helpful staff.

I love this hotel staff and front desk worker was very awesome great breakfast n I'm definitely coming again this was my second stay and each time was worth it the rooms were nice and clean the bed was very comfortable just wonderful it's called best for a reason and it's on western what a coincidence lol

We were very pleased with the accommodations and the staff were outstanding. The staff was very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. Hotel is pretty new very well managed. Rooms were very clean. The location was very good, easy access to the freeway, close to both LA and Anaheim. It was a pleasure to stay there.

My family and i booked this hotel for 4th of July weekend because we knew it had just opened up earlier this year. Got there and first impression was bad because the neighborhood was super ugly and with all due respect it was ghetto! The hotel was nice. We went to the pool and we were all very surprised at how small the pool was; i believe seeing a sign that said that no more than 18-20 (can't remember exact number) people could get in (that's how small it is). Then pool chairs had cushions that were stained, and they were on the floor too. I thought that maybe they would fix this issue later on but i was wrong. In total we stayed two nights; and i checked even the day we left and cushions were still in the same spot on the floor. The umbrella in the pool is also broken. The rooms were nice, large and clean. However the curtains were falling off the rack, and it seems like they had been that way since we walked in our room. Walking down the hallways we noticed that the carpet was a bit dirty (needed a simple vacuum); didn't happen. Even the day we left, the floor had the same small trash particles on the floor. It was amazing how the housekeepers didn't see this. The breakfast was decent; however again the breakfast room is way to small for the number of rooms they have. I remember seeing people taking their breakfasts to their rooms because there were no available chairs for them and their families to sit at. Overall this hotel was nice only because everything in still in decent condition since it just opened up not too long ago. The employees are nice, they just have to put more attention to the small details. I personally would not stay again just because the neighborhood didn't make me feel like i was in a vacation. But if you don't care about small details then you're good here.

We needed a hotel for two nights, and everything by the airport was so expensive, so we tried this place. It was totally worth a few extra minutes of driving to stay at the Best Western. The room was large, clean, and modern with a nice bathroom. Breakfast was really good (try the yogurt from the machine), and the staff was so friendly and welcoming!

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in! It is very modern and super clean! The front desk staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Love the decor!! My only gripe is the lights in the bathroom are on sensors and while in the shower, the lights went out. Other than that, it was a great stay!!

It's a bit of a rough looking area but don't let that fool you. The rooms are great and have a lot of room in them. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There was a menu in the room that you can order food to be delivered form all kinds of cuisine from Mexican to Asian. You need a key to access the elevator and a key to access the building after 9pm which makes you feel secure. If your in the are this is THE PLACE to stay.

I would like to come back to this hotel very nice and clean and I am very picky about the how clean and comfortable the room is and this hotel is a BIG YES, the only problem is the hotel was surrounded by homes and I don't think it is safe to walk around but other than that we love this hotel.

Great place to stay in Gardena, great staff, great customer service, convenient to airport, and our conference location. Vick, the Mgr, was great from the time of our reservations. Everyone at the front desk was exceptional and always greeted us with a smile EVERY time we left and came back to the hotel. This hotel was very clean, very comfortable, and everything in our rooms worked without any issues !!! EXCELLENT choice for our stay in LA.

Like the title says...you wouldn't expect this quality of hotel in this specific location, but it's really great and you feel like you're car is safe when you're parked which could have been an issue. The rooms are large, clean, and have a modern updated feel. I was really pleasantly surprised. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're in the area.

We stopped here on our family Roadtrip and booked based on price & proximity to some of the activities in the city. Let me start by saying the Hotel is not in a good part of town. Once we checked in the property we felt a little better. For being a new property the hallways and rooms were not as clean as you would expect. The hallway floors never looked like they were mopped. Everything looked like it just needed a good cleaning. The rooms were nice and spacious but if they are not kept up with I can see them being run down fast. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful.

This has to be one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. Right when we checked in, Raymond and Vick were very welcoming and helpful. They got my aunt a room that accommodated her ADA needs and they were kind enough to put us in a room right next to her. When we asked for good places to eat, or directions on how to go places, all of the front desk employees are happy and eager to help. Also, as you come home from a long day out, the front desk welcomes you back and asked how our day was. Overall, the staff is very friendly, go above and beyond to help you, and they make your stay a memorable one.

The hotel was 4 months old when we stayed there, so everything was still brand new. Nice staff that we talked to, very friendly and helpful. There's a complimentary "on demand" coffee machine in the lobby, along with a couple of computers for guests to use. They have a small pool just outside the lobby. Guests will have to walk through the lobby for it, and I noticed a bit of a problem. Some guests who may not care, they'd just walk through with wet feet and creating what could be a slippery floor. Fortunately the front desk staff noticed this and cleaned the floor minutes later. Hopefully they'd have some kind of mat for guests to dry their feet before exiting the pool area by now. The room we had was nice and quiet. Very comfortable king sized bed, spacious room, and a shower enclosure in the bathroom instead of bathtub. I did not take advantage of the breakfast that they offered because I thought that it's being served rather late in the day. I have an early entry from Universal Studios, and if I want to take advantage of that, I'd have to be at the park before 8am. If I had breakfast before we leave the hotel, we wouldn't have made it for the park opening. I've mentioned it to the front desk staff when we left that they should have the breakfast at an earlier time. I'd stay there again for sure! Hopefully I'll get to enjoy their breakfast next time.

The staff was friendly and helpful. He gave us tips for our vacation plans and for highway usage. The hotel is clean and an up to date, modern facility. The rooms are spacious rooms. We actually had 2 king sized beds and a pullout couch. You don't usually find 2 king sized beds in one room. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel looks like it was recently refurbished and it was great as everything was clean and not worn-down. Staff was very attentive for my needs and were very friendly when I came back from work related events each day. They also gave great advice on places to go / eat in the area. Would stay again if I don't want to deal with downtown LA prices.

We spend 2 nights in this brand new hotel and will certainly go back when in LA. Courteous, friendly, helpful staff, especially Manager Peter and staffmember Jonathan dit everything to make our stay an excellent and lasting experience..

I stayed here on two different occasions in May while my husband and I were in California to adopt a baby boy. Staying in a hotel with a newborn isn't ideal, but the staff here was so helpful and friendly, and the hotel was extremely clean (which was really my number one concern for having a newborn there). We also had a bit of an up-in-the-air situation with the adoption and had to basically reserve our room night by night, but the manager Vick was so great in keeping a room available for us even though we were never sure if we would be needing it or not. I would say the only complaint I would have is that the hotel isn't really in the greatest area - the surrounding establishments are a bit sketchy -- liquor store, strip club...taco bell, haha ;) and so you pretty much want to stay put once you get checked in. No taking a walk in the neighborhood. But, it is fairly close to LAX (15 minutes if no traffic) which is nice. Oh, and the breakfast area could be a bit larger - we came down a few times and had to stand around until someone got up so that we could sit. All in all, great place. Would definitely stay there again and would certainly recommend it to others!

The room was excellent...couch and chair (rare find).....wonderful bed. Great facilities. We were on our way home via LA after a 46 day trip. This hotel was a welcome rest stop. Room service menu was excellent and varied and simple to use. The bed was the best we'd slept in and the breakfast was seriously the best "included" hotel breakfast we had eaten in the USA over the course of 46 days and nights. Will definitely stay again en route to wherever we are going in the future. Staff was so helpful and friendly and the free coffee and computer use in the foyer a bonus.

I found this Hotel after staying a night near LAX and was tired of paying for parking and WIFI with the higher costs near LAX. The free breakfast was excellent although a little congested on the weekend. The rooms were clean and new. Excellent decor in rooms and great functionality of space in bathrooms to place travel supplies. The neighborhood is typical of the valley if not from the area, as I would not walk to any of the businesses in the area, but we drove.

We arrived late and tired but the staff (lead by Jonathon) was excellent. Very helpful and patient with some problems we had which weren't the hotel or staff's fault (it was because we were tired). Area not so great but you feel safe because gates are closed, elevators work only with your room card, etc. Two things to remember: you can't get the elevator to go to a floor that your room isn't on and the a/c units only work with the wall thermostat (not the panel on the a/c unit). They told us when checking in but we were too tired to remember.

I'd been in this hotel for 5 days. I was really impressed by it's quality. I've been 5 times in the US before, i think it was one of the best hotel i'd been there. All the building and furnishings are new and stylish. Their sense of management is new and modern also. There's a microwave in the room. There's a free car parking area. The breakfast is very good compared to the American breakfast culture; you can crimp, you can find eggs and omelets, coffee etc. at the breakfast. Additionaly the location of the hotel is very strategic and centralized for Los Angeles. It takes 15 min to go to Long Beach or LAX by car. I really want to stay here again if I go to LA. I will consider BW especially BW PLUS hotels also for my next travel.

The staff is wonderfull. I would say that Jonathan,Peter, Eduardo, Ramon and Steven are doing much better than one would expect. The check in was fast friendly and included all the required information. The room is big, comfortable and very well decorated.

After a difficult trip, we stopped in to find a newly finished hotel, a helpful, friendly front desk and a well stocked breakfast bar in the morning. I thought I saw a laundry room on the second floor near a gym, and the door locks appear to take lessons learned from information security into account. (Ports on the underside can't be accessed easily, new type of secondary locking mechanism.) Finally, thank god for the guy working the desk the night we stopped in, we thought we had lost a bag and he went out of his way to investigate. How do you know I'm not a shill? 8chan, spacex, rfs 2016. That's how.

This facility is the most secure place we have stayed on our two week vacation through California. In order to get off the first floor you must use your key in the elevator. Withh a laundry room and a workout facility, it had everything that our family needed for a great stay. It also had one of the most spacious rooms for the price we paid. There was also no shortage of service and helpfulness by a very polite staff.

We get treated so well there it's like our second home away from home. The staff there are all awesome and very professional!! Room mare super clean food is great at breakfast and coffee is always available tooth paste and brushes also. Love it!! The blow dryers are the best!

We stayed at the BW Gardena Inn to be close to the airport for a morning flight. It was a great choice. Not only did the friendly and helpful staff go to the extremes to make sure we were well cared for, the rooms were clean and quiet; the breakfast was very good with a variety of food to make the entire family happy; and the location felt safe and secure. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip out of LAX.

Where to begin, this appears to be a very new hotel. Secured parking excellent lobby area. The rooms are nicer than what they charge. The price of the room was within the budget of the company I work for. The value of the room was better. Staff was great, assisted me in ordering some food delivered. Many choices in the area that deliver their recommendation was excellent they even placed the order for me. Fridge and micro in the room. Very modern rooms.

Raymond and Jonathan at the front desk were extremely helpful and courteous, this experience alone is worth coming back. The only minus that I've observed is that good restaurants are not close to the hotel (over a mile away).

After reading several posts giving this hotel a bad review I decided to try hotel. It was near the airport ( 15 miles away), POV pick up / turn in ( 2 Miles away )and did not charge a $15 parking fee. Yes and I also felt safe. The breakfast was delicious and the amenities were nice. Next trip to LA (LAX) will stay again. Actually because of my stay at this Best Western Plus hotel I will look for more as I ride on my travels and yes I take a lot of road trips.

the staff were very helpful and we have a wonderful stay at the hotel. will stay again here if visiting LA. it's a nice hotel very peaceful as it's outside the city but has easy access to public transport down the street. would diffidently recommend to friends though its away from downtown.

Best hotel experience ever. This was my husband and I first time in LA. We was on our honeyvacay (honeymoon and vacation). The staff was AWSOME and Very very Friendly. Special thanks to Ramon and Bilal for being so helpful. Our room was very clean and cozy. We had the King suit with the jazucci and it was inexpensive!! We will visit again.

Wasn't sure which location to stay in Southern California. Came with 2 friends on a last minute vacation, planned on going to every attraction in south California. Never heard of Gardena and didn't want to stay directly in the expensive city. But still wanted a comfortable stay. Took a chance with this location, and didn't regret it one bit. Beautiful hotel, great rate, and great hospitality. When I first pulled up I was kind of worried because of the surrounding area. But once inside I was relieved. Attendants definitely went above and beyond this trip.

We stayed here for 11 days. The hotel was chosen after thorough research. The hotel was completed renovated three months before we arrived. The choice fell on the Best Western according to the following criteria: Most value, free parking (always free space), free WiFi (worked great), breakfast included, new hotel, service minded staff. 4 of us agreed that this was the best hotel experience we've had ever. Huge room with huge and functional bathroom. 2 King Size beds that were gigantic. All slept very well. Cleaning of the rooms is daily and at a level at 5 star hotel. Staff were without exception extremely friendly and service-minded. There was constantly feeling that they were committed and genuinely interested in making sure we were having a good time. Breakfast selection was qualitatively very good. Very good coffee, juice, yogurt, toast, eggs and bacon and waffel with syrup and cream for dessert can be mentioned. The hotel has good qualities across the board, color schemes makes you relax. Always good to get back to the Best Western after a rich adventure day. Particularly noted that staff is so attentive and interested in us having a good time. In LA car is a must, also GPS. Best Western Plus Gardena is close to everything. We went at sports events, on the beach (the bathroom and rented elbikes) concerts, musicals, museums and numerous other attractions. Everything is at a suitable distance from the hotel. We would recommend this hotel highly and would love to come back.

After reading several reviews about the area and hotel, I thought my stay in Gardena wasn't going to be so great but was I wrong. Staff from the maids to manager were very friendly and helpful. Had 0 problems. The breakfast food was ok but I can't complain when it's free. Finding parking was simple. After learning routes around LA better, staying in Gardena wasn't a bad choice. Definitely would come back to this location again regardless of what people think of the area. Just like the manager said to me, "If you're looking for trouble, you'll find it."

I was in town for 6 days traveling for work and this hotel was beyond exceptional! Staff was amazing and willing to go above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable! Clean rooms.....Best part is staff remembers you directly by name and me being 2,000 miles from home the staff really made me "feel at home" . Great location....only 10-15 minutes from LAX and easy access to the 110 and 105. Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Very convenient to LAX and the service provided by Jonathan was AWESOME!!! We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were spacious and very clean with great beds to sleep in. Breakfast was adequate.

I've been here multiple times and every single time I'm greeted with wonderful customer service from the excellent staff! Never had any issue with cleanliness and always treated with respect! They are always so helpful and I am very appreciative for that! Me and my boyfriend use this as the perfect convient getaway and it's always pleasant!

As the title reads the hotel is great, opened only 3 months ago. Rooms are huge, all new furniture and fittings, plenty of towels and bathroom products (no shower cap, so bring your own). The hotel is located about 15 mins from LAX but with traffic took us over 40 minutes. We had a car rented so we didn't need to walk around the area and I wouldn't recommend walking the area day or night. Security at hotel is very good they lock the doors at 9pm every night and you need your card to access all doors and the elevator. Breakfast is included and there is a large breakfast room on the 2nd floor. Selection was ok and the ladies were a little slow at restocking the items and we ate breakfast at 8am both day. The staff were very helpful especially Peter and Jessica. If you want to have a good nights sleep get a room at the back of the hotel as the front of the hotel faces a main road.

Hotel was new - you could still smell the crispness of new and hope that the management continues with their spirit of excellence over the years. Began talking to the staff several weeks before the trip, as I was coming internationally for a conference and wanted to understand location and safety. We were so pleased, it was just 12 minutes to the LA Memorial Coliseum with access to Doc Wiler Beach just 10 minutes. Look forward to coming back..

Attended a business class and combined with 31st Wedding Anniversary! Glad to stay in a new facility. All the staff was awesome & very helpful. New bed was comfortable and hotel was very clean. However, was a little surprised at the noise level.

Pro's: Free parking Huge rooms Modern Breakfast Cons: About 1 hour in rush hour to Hollywood area (but 40 minutes in regular traffic) Perfect for our family of 4. It is in a slightly run-down neighbourhood but once you're inside you would never know it. Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is very secure. I would not think twice about staying here again. The room rate is very reasonable for LA.

Really impressed by the General Manager, Vic. I had a special concern and contacted Vic, and I was overwhelmed with gratitude for his quick resolution to my problem. He does a fantastic job running this beautiful hotel! The rooms are spotless and the layout is spacious and has everything you could possibly need. This hotel is by far the cleanest and friendliest hotel I've ever been to. when I arrived I was immediately welcomed by Johnathan who made sure to make me feel comfortable and if i was at home.he did all he could do to make sure I was satisfied , he even called my room to check on how I was or if I needed anything. Jessica was super helpful, the attitude and vibe she gives let's you know that she legitimately cares about her guests. She is very beautiful too very awesome young woman. If u are visiting the western Los Angeles area/south bay,I highly recommend this place. This is the only place I will stay at now . thanks best western.!

A completely amazing stay the hotel was clean and the staff was absolutely awesome, especially Jonathan at the Front Desk. The maid service was great. I can't think of anything negative about my visit.

I usually stay at Hyatt or Hilton properties but was pleasantly surprised by this 2 month old brand new from the ground up Best Western Plus. Service was excellent. Nice varied free breakfast. Free parking. Free wifi. Rooms are spacious and clean with nice comfy beds and spacious appointed bathrooms. Good security. Gardena is not the most picturesque part of LA but its an hour or less to most of what LA has to offer. Very pleased.

Area is a little rough but this Best Western was great. The staff obviously takes great pride in this property and their work. Everything was clean and new. Breakfast was adequate and seemed to be replenished as soon as something was out. Would definately stay again if in the area.

This hotel is located near the airport. There are a few restaurants and business nearby. I love free parking. My grandson was disappointed with the small pool....but we went to the beach 2 days anyway. The beds were confront-able, the rooms are large and it was quiet. Breakfast was good especially the waffles. Good choices on breakfast. Staff was very accommodating. Location was great.. I will stay again.

Stayed 3/16/16 to 20th. Clean, comfortable, place to stay. The manager was most helpful and friendly suggesting sights for us to see. I really appreciated that. The breakfast was good. Overall a good visit and nice place to stay.

The hotel appeared to be just built. Very clean and modern looking. The staff were very helpful and professional. The room was spacious and clean with some up to date ammenities. Bathrooms were large and fairly clean. Only thing is we found a roach walking around the bathroom in the morning. We wasn?t able to experience the morning breakfast, but were offered snacks from a little snack bar. The surrounding area around the hotel seemed questionable. It didn?t seem to be in the best neighborhood.

Nearly new hotel. Excellent, friendly service. Free upgrade was very nice and not expected. Stayed 2 nights to send granddaughter on a trip from LAX and spent the next day at the Getty Center. Granddaughter arrived safely and Getty was great.

Hotel is almost brand new. Room was very spacious with good fittings and comfortable bed. We stayed 7nights and it was a great base for our sightseeing as we had a rental car. Good under cover free parking but if you get home late there is plenty of alternative parking just outside the entrance doors, The hotel was full and we were getting home after concerts /dinners and always car spaces. Area is working class,quiet at night and appeared safe. 711 and some fast food close by. No decent restaurants close so a car is a must. Very well priced for what you get. Breakfast was adequate although the room was overrun with school groups some days, but you could take food to your room. staff were very friendly throughout and always were offering to help with anything. Thanks to Peter and all. Printer and computer and coffee in lobby.Excellent free wifi.

We traveled from Orlando with our two little girls and we all absolutely loved this place! The location was convenient not far from any of our destinations. They have covered parking and it is free. We stayed for 2 nights. They have a good hot breakfast variety and it was a little different the two mornings we were there. The front desk assistant was helpful and when I called the concierge for a few items they brought them right up. It is about two months old, spacious rooms, book it!

This location is near the beaches which is a straight drive to the ocean. Located near the freeways and tucked into an area that has a lot of great local shopping that is cost effective. Best Western Plus has rooms that are state of the art and the TV and all the amenities are all brand new and this place has a GM manager Vic Patel who is on his game to make sure clients get a positive experience. The staff is well trained and on the ball. They are concerned about making sure the customer is satisfied.

Hotel is new and a very good value. Nice room. Breakfast was OK, but the hot food wasn't ready at 7:00AM when the breakfast was due to start. Parking was convenient, outside the reception area entry door.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff was very welcoming. The hotel is brand new with all modern amenities. We were 5 of us staying in a suite. The sofa bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean, breakfast was good with some hot items included. Definitely worth the money that we spent. Best part was the service that we got after we checked out. As we were driving out of LA, we realized we had left a very valuable item in the room by mistake. When we called the hotel, the manager was very supportive, he arranged to look for the item and kept it ready for us at the reception. When we walked back into the hotel, everyone was treating us very nicely even though we had already checked out of the hotel.

The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Everything was brand new. The staff was very supportive. Breakfast was ok too - not extraordinary, but there were some freshly made items served hot. It was within 15 min drive from LA downtown.

I arrived here from another state and from day one the entire staff including management welcomed me to California and treated me with the utmost respect and consideration. This is the brand new modern looking best western hotel ,the king suite is big and clean,excellent services , very friendly staff, I had a pleasant stay, definately come back next time when I'm on a business trip! Highly recommend for people that traveling and try to find a hotel with great Sevices

I would like to start off by saying that this hotel is beautiful and brand new. It has only been open for 3 weeks and the property is beautiful. Totally modern looking property which is a thumbs up for me. The surrounding area now that's what make this hotel not very curb appealing. The neighborhood looks run down they could have chosen a better location. The rooms also don't seem too insulated very well because I could hear every noise from people walking around upstairs to people just walking on the same floor to cars and trucks passing by all night. The hotel was very loud and made it very hard to sleep. Even though the room is new it was very dirty and not well maintained. The restroom had pubic hairs and the bed sheets where dirty. You would expect that from an older hotel but not from a new property. I used the exercise room and also had breakfast. Exercise room is phenomenal and very well maintained. They have an amazing setup that and for someone like me that uses the equipment it was a thumbs up. Breakfast area was very clean and the selection was good. The only issue this day was the power in the hotel went out that's when all my bad and negative vibes where recalled. I was not able to use the elevator or the ice machine and I need ice for my ice chest as we were going out for a hike. I had to stop and buy ice which was an inconvenience for me. I did have a person in the hotel help me out with my bags when he saw my family and me struggling. Overall I had a bad experience here and I don't know if I will be back to this hotel. I loved that it's new but they still have many issues that need to be worked out. I didn't even want to pay for the stay.

Love going to L.A, Gardena are always looking for places to stay. Found this one, very clean and new. Felt safe close to the freeway, and close to near by attractions. This is the place I will stay when I visit L.A are.

This hotel is in a not too well known town of Gardena, far from the city center. We were pleasantly surprised that it was just opened in February 1, 2016, a brand new hotel. So, the rooms smelled new and clean, were very spacious with a loveseat and lounge chair. The bed was comfortable and clean. There were a microwave and small refrigerator. Internet and parking are free. Breakfast was good. Most of all, the staff seemed excited about their new hotel and were very helpful and friendly. Especially Vic. We had a fantastic stay!

If you have a rental car and need to overnight near LAX, this is an excellent great property. I stayed two weeks after opening and the staff are really trying hard to promote business. There is secure parking under the hotel as well as a large lot outside. Big spacious brightly lit lobby welcomed us when we entered. Enjoyed my overnight

Everything is new. Very comfortable bed, very clean and good service by the front desk. Totally recommend this place. Second floor they have breakfast room, gym and laundry room. Everybody was very helpful. They have parking and wifi is included.

The staff was amazing. I felt completely comfortable and safe in hotel. Area surrounding hotel looked a bit scary but hotel felt safe. I would definitely stay here again. The hot breakfast was satisfactory. The value was amazing for the accomodations

Booked the king suite for a night out with my girlfriend to celebrate Valentine's day. As soon as we walked into the place it had the feeling of a high end hotel, everything brand new and shiny. The room was very spacious, had a fridge and a microwave that definitely came in handy when we ordered food from grubhub. Large bathrooms with great lighting which was important for my girlfiend when she was doing her makeup. Towels were very thick and soft. Carpet also super soft. Bed was very comfortable with some of the softest pillows I've ever used. You really have to see this place for yourself because it's hard to Write about everything, all I know is that I was 100% happy with my stay, no complaints whatsoever. Staff was awesome too, both guys that I encountered at the front desk where very nice. Will definitely come back again.

Great find I work all over the LA and South market. This is a NEW hotel. Well built nice clean well built. Drive a few blocks in any direction for a variaty of food and shopping. Did I mention New good job

Our family stayed at Best Western Plus three nights. Breakfast was wonderful with a wide variety to choose from. The staff, especially Peter and Raymond, were always welcoming and fun. They were quick to give us printed directions and "local" tips for places to visit. I also appreciated the easy access to the covered, gated parking. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks BWP Gardena! Ps. I read the first comment about "opening night bust" and after 4 days open, I feel many of the kinks you mentioned were ironed out. Our breakfast included more hot items like oatmeal, potatoes, eggs, ham and sausage. The elevators and vending machines worked fine. They even had workers inside finishing last minute details. As for the neighborhood, as my first time in California, I felt this area was like many others around. I always felt safe there.

I highly recommend this hotel it was clean and spacious. The dude at the front desk Raymond, his customer service was excellent. I also enjoyed the fitness room on the second floor, it had new equipment and fresh workout towels also.I expected average overall my stay was great!
