Very nice property. Close to freeway exit/entrance and gas station. Nice clean rooms (read , no smell)). Nice outdoor seating off breakfast room. Free Breakfast was varied and well prepared. GOOD COFFEE! Hotel staff were friendly and professional.
I just got back today from a two night stay at this hotel. I'm torn between giving it a two or three star rating. When I checked in the receptionist was very nice. She tried to find me a room, we booked for a quiet room, top floor in a King. We did check in an hour early and a lot of rooms were not cleaned yet, and that is understandable. She tried and found us one on the third floor with two queen beds. We accepted that with no issues. The lobby was very clean, but unfortunately they don't have any vending machines on premises, but they had a few assortment of chips and a fridge with soda behind the check in counter. We made it up to the room, the second I opened the door there was the most disgusting odor I have ever experienced at a hotel. We walked in, the carpet was very dirty with deep down black stains, the chair was black with stains and the room was very warm. I lowered the AC to 68, that is as low as it goes, they are all set to not go lower. The smell was like three hundred people took their shoes off at once, it was that bad. I started looking under the beds, in drawers to see if someone left a pair of socks or clothing somewhere, no luck. Then the AC started blowing extremely cold, way below 68. I.calked the front desk and explained what was going on. I asked if we could be moved, the receptionist said no they were full and had no other rooms, EXCEPT the pet friendly building way at the back of the hotel. She said we would not like it, since the dogs are barking and such. So she said she would send the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy came up and could not figure out the issue with the AC system. He called his boss and he could not figure out what it was doing. They ended up returning three times and could not fix it. I started getting nauseated from the smell and I couldn't stay in that room any longer. I called the front desk and a very delightful woman named Melanie answered, she was the manager on duty. She said she was looking at her inventory and had no room to switch us to. She asked if she could bring housekeeping up to the room, I said absolutely. She shows up and again Melanie was extremely kind, and I know they were very busy, my room faced the front of the hotel and several construction trucks and big trucks kept coming in to check in. Housekeeping offered us an ozone machine of some sorts for the smell, I said let's give it a shot. It was a very old unit that did absolutely nothing, unfortunately. Then the Maintenance guy comes back and said he could not fix the AC. So, he called Melanie and said the room had to be switched. A few minutes later, amazingly Melanie gave me the key to a room three doors down. When I opened the door, it was like a breath of fresh air, no odor and the room was clean, good working AC and no issues, even the beds were much more comfortable and newer. How that room opened up out of the blue was beyond me, but Melanie was an absolute professional and such a sweetheart to do whatever she did. One last issue I noticed, was the pool area. It had seven lounge chairs and five had broken material and were unusable. It has a very large Chrystal clear pool and a hot tub in the back. Beautiful deck, but they need to upgrade those chairs and get new ones for people to sunbathe. I did notice the grounds were kept up amazingly well. So, if you decide to stay here, make sure you insist upon a new renovated room the older ones need a lot of work. The carpets need changing amongst other things. Also parking can be very hard if you leave for dinner and come back. We kept our parking space and walked over to Denny's for dinner both nights. Which by the way was excellent. I'm not sure if I would stay here again, considering there are so many options just over the freeway. Their main business seems to be truckers and kconstruction workers. Nothing wrong with that, but they need to take more care of their rooms. Thank you Melanie for doing whatever you could to make us comfortable. We appreciate it a lot.
BW Plus locations are my number one preference when an associate of mine is in need of an overnight stay. The Garden Court Inn location allows for easy access and plenty of amenities. A very helpful staff that made the reservation and check-in process very easy. I will continue to use this location.
This hotel had it all working for itself a good hot breakfast with plenty of options. The room was clean and spacious, and the very comfortable good working internet and all light fixtures and plug-in working the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure I would recommend this hotel
We were here for a youth sports competition and stayed extra days as tourists. The room and facility were very clean and surprisingly quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby, too. The hot tub was nice, too.
No room service! Did not answer texts if you needed anything. Room infested with ants. Front desk didn't even care at checkout.
This hotel is wonderful. We had a ground floor pool side suite. The room was spotless, beds comfortable, the pool, hot tub and surrounding trees and flowers was amazing and I could almost pretend I was in Maui ! Included in the price is a full on breakfast with every from eggs, bacon, sausages, toast , bagels, fresh fruit, pancakes coffee, etc. plus the staff are all polite, helpful and do an amazing job of making your stay a treat. It's also close to a lot of different restaurants…Denny's and Applebee's a few steps away to name a few.
I stay here often. The staff is great. Always friendly and says Hello with a smile. The breakfast options have a good variety. Prices are reasonable on the weekends.
The BW Garden Court in Fremont has it all, including great staff, great location, good pool/hot tub with breakfast, and a fair price for the amenities. Def would stay again!
This was one of the best overnight experiences I've had at a hotel. Clean room. All the amenities. Larger fridge than most. Comfy beds. Helpful, pleasant staff. Lovely grounds and lobby. Terrific breakfast with lots of optons.
My review title says it all, really. But I'll add that the hotel is conveniently located if you are in Fremont/Niles, with a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. We really liked the pool and hot tub, just wished the pool was heated - although later in the day I'm sure it was fine. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great deal for the price.
All was very clean and the personnel were very helpful and pleasant to talk to the hotel was very close to everything you might need . Coffee and breakfast was very good and they had a big variety to offer
We stayed 10 Days at this Hotel . Customer Service wasn't good at all . They weren't Service Our Room at all i had to ask 2 x for Towels . The Night Check in Ladie wasn't nice at all or friendly. i was scared to ask her for anything so We did without . and My floor at home gets vacuumed a Couple Times a Week . and if there's CHips on the floor that Day . i had to bend down being 60 and having back problems to try to pick up Every Crumb . but couldn't. Breakfast was very Good all week something different every day. Ladies were very Nice . But We will not go back because of this we will stay somewhere else .
Probable Bed Bugs, Cock Roaches, Mold and Sleep Depravation oh my. This was the worst hotel stay of my life. Avoid this place unless you want to bring home a pet. The ventilation system in this place was horrible and completely inadequate for the size of the building. It was like living in a butterfly enclosure with visible water damage above the sink. The thermometer in all the rooms are locked at 70 and I doubt it ever even got near that. 2 nights were so bad we got less than 4 hrs of sleep due to humidity in the room and the others went much better. The landscaping was unwatered and dying due to all the driplines being ruptured and spraying randomly all over the place at night. Broken branches from the trees were just left on the pathways for the entire time we were there. Breakfast was a joke. over cooked paper bacon, stale breads, gross muffins and cereal wasn't refilled for a several days when there is a store across the street. Parking lot was unlit making it a great place to get your car or belongings stolen. Staying here was a real nightmare and I urge you to find another place or you will regret it. This place completely ruined our trip and We will not be returning to this location. If this place has any integrity at all it should offer us a refund. I will update.
I was in 2 rooms. First room for a few hours. While it was clean the second room I was transferred to at midnight had splatters on the bathroom mirror. I had to change rooms first night because person above me was loud talking and pacing, and my ceiling was creaking loud even at midnight. Second night there were 3 men outside my room chatting and laughing from 2:30-3am when I went out and told them they were loud. At 5:30 AM every morning I could hear more doors than were in my hall loudly closing. Did not get good sleep the 5 nights I was there.
Sheets were dirty I laid my own back key over them light n bathroom didn't work and noise was bad and the area isn't the best but it's ok staff was nice and respectful and friendly breakfast was ok not bad but not good
Hotel was very clean, well maintained. The breakfast are was well equipped and had very good food. I would definitely stay there again in the future. Easy access to facilities from the freeway. Parking could be a little better.
Our stay was very nice. I was there for cardiac testing, but my husband and clients really enjoyed the extra space that the suite provided. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent and the price was supurb!
Relaxing, nicely appointed garden view rooms. Close to many restaurants, Starbucks, and retail centers. Wonderful buffet breakfast with endless choices for everyone in your family. Friendly and helpful employees.
Chose this location as it was very close to Washington Hospital. I had surgery there and family stayed at hotel. Service and rooms were excellent. Only issue was we were on the 2nd floor and the elevator was done the day I stayed there before the surgery.
Great location near freeway, friendly helpful staff, great breakfast offering warm and cold food options. Very nice pool and patio areas. Some rooms even have balconies. Close to restaurants. We will definitely stay here again.
We have stayed here over the years many times. The reason is that they are pet friendly and close to the relatives we are visiting. Cleaning is hit and miss. We have had several issues over the years and twice we have had to change rooms to fix the problem. I think that renovations have been happening and they are trying to update issues they are having. We will reserve the night again when we visit.
The room service is excellent and professional. The place is nice and neat. Everything is good and nice to stay. The housekeeping service is excellent and professional. The staffs are nice and friendly to talk with. It is very pleasant experience to stay in Best West Plus. I have been this place few years ago and have a very good experience in here. I would give a 5 stars ratings definitely.
We checked in to our rooms that had a family of roaches staying there that hadn't checked out yet. So the next day since we arrived late the roaches wasn't willing to let the room go so they moved us to yet another infested room stating the bugs where coming from the patio door… The there a mix up with my reservation in which the manager from hell came and demanded me out locking my daughter out trying to push her way behind me aggressively still not left me know the issue and ended with her calling the police on me for a miscommunication with my company account… NOTE I AM A TRAVELING NURSE WHO CAME TO STAY THERE FOR AN ASSIGNMENT in California had to be the worse stay ever in history…. Refusing to give me my license I was desperately waiting on out of spite…. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EMBARRASSED IN MY LIFE FOR A MISUNDERSTAND AND HOW THE MANAGER HANDLED IT WAS EVEN WORSE…
Spent 3 nights at this hotel and everything was perfect. The staff is polite and caring. Rooms are big enough and clean and amenities were good. Breakfast spread was very nice and quality was excellent. Overall a very efficient hotel and value for money.
We stay here when visiting friends in Fremont. Our room was on the first floor with a patio facing the beautifully maintained outdoor pool and spa (open until 10 pm - towels from the front desk agent). Parking is free and plentiful. Internet is included in the rate (we hosted Zoom calls without problems). Thrilled the buffet breakfast is back YAY with waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon and sausage, muffins, bananas and other fresh fruit, coffee tea orange apple and cranberry juice. There is in room coffee and a HUGE screen TV w/cable for movies in room. There are great restaurants within walking distance, so we didn't have to move the car all weekend, a bonus after driving for four hours to get here. In our opinion, this is the best hotel stay in FREMONT :-) Best Western members get a welcome gift bag! Check into this hotel for yourselves! Highly recommend it. Thanks Best Western Fremont
I was quite comfortable during my stay here. I loved the breakfast of scrambled eggs and homemade biscuits although they have a great variety of things to choose from. My room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. So glad I also had a microwave and refrigerator. I took advantage of the pool, Jacuzzi, and gym area. I also liked the fact that this motel is surrounded by beautiful trees, plants and flowers. Even though it is near a busy major street it felt a little secluded among all the trees. The gym is quite small and only had one treadmill but that was all I needed. Also this place is conveniently located close to grocery stores and shopping. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Fremont.
Very friendly, hardworking staff, who took time to make sure guests were happy to be there. Nice environment. Located near shopping and restaurants. Good place to stay. Will book this hotel again. Highly recommended.
I always enjoy my time here its so clean and beautiful pool area. The food is good. The workers excellent. Bedding is so soft. I love it every time I go. The shampoo and wash they offer is amazing as well.
Would have liked to rate this place higher as the plant is good- hot tub, rooms are a good size, there are electric car chargers, and it's walking distance from my parents. The people who run this place are obviously cheapskates, though. Lots of issues with deferred maintenance, and frankly maintenance period. While we were getting our keys replaced for the third time because they quit working, we overheard someone complaining that their AC wasn't working (it was 100+ outside). Housekeeping is nonexistent. Hotels are using the Covid excuse to shirk on daily cleaning. Garbage cans were overflowing. Several lights were out in the room. Breakfast was present.
Staff are very nice; but, they could not do sweettalk to get out of the running down hotel rooms. On the surface, everything looks clean. When you dropped something on the floor to pick things up, then you started noticing all sorts of under the table issue. Provided breakfast is mediocre. Only good thing coming out of breakfast is a small water bottle.
Booked this hotel as we were in the area to attend a graduation. The hotel was the cheapest in the area so we were a bit concerned it may be old and run down. Thankfully it was not. Room was very clean, the customer service at the front desk and staff were very good as well. Overall it was a really good hotel for the price we got it for.
We were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. The hotel is close to freeway access and other amenities and restaurants within walking distance. Our room was clean and stocked with towels and basic hygiene supplies. The room we were in happened to be close to one of the entrance/exit door, and you can hear people coming and going all night and in the morning hours, along with the slamming of the door. If you are a light sleeper, best to request a room away from the outside doors. The rooms were very clean and we appreciated the larger than normal mini fridge. The room also had a coffee maker and microwave. It was spacious and comfortable. The bed mattresses need an update, however the pillows were very comfortable. Upon first entrance to the hallway indoors, there is the lingering smell of marijuana,, but I guess nowadays that smell is everywhere. However, our room smelled fresh and clean. We enjoyed the free continental breakfast in the morning. It had a good variety of food. The bacon, sausage and eggs were a hit! There is plenty of room indoors and a lovely outdoor patio area to eat breakfast. The pool and outdoor area is very clean with plenty of lounge area to sunbath,, picnic, or relax in the couch seating areas. At this time the hot tub was not in operation, i am assuming because of COVID issues. If our stay was longer, we would have definitely taken advantage of the pool area. The staff was friendly and in good spirits.
This hotel is very clean, it has beautiful heated pool, gardens and it is anice quiet area, but there are nice restaurants with a bar for a relaxing drink right behind the hotel and a movie theatre and Macy's only a half a mile away, anything you may need is close.
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times, maybe 5. Family stays here too when in the eBay Area. My husband and I met in Fremont 22 years ago, to celebrate we came to Fremont and the areas we haunted together. First issue: I reserved a pet-friendly King room. When I arrived I was offered a Double queen. Upon discussing this issue, I was told we could have an upstairs king room but you have no elevator. Sadly, my husband and I are not good on stairs. So I took the Queen room and our price was adjusted - but only after I politely made my displeasure clear. 2: Our sink drained so slow we used the tub most of the time. 2a: no soap tray at sink. 3: We were missing the trash can in our room, so we asked housekeeping for a trash bag. On the second day, we found a freshly emptied room (not restroom) trash can in the hallway of our building, so we took it to our room. 4: There was a plastic Dr. Pepper bottle of some fluid (not Dr. Pepper) on the patio of our room, which was cleared when I requested it to be taken away. 5: There was no designated pet area, no signage, no trash can, no poo-bags (which it's fine for us, we bring our own), but the area behind the hotel was where we remembered going and there was dog poo everywhere. We really don't know if the area has been moved or what?? We saw other pet owners walking their dog on the property near the pool for them to relieve themselves in the grass there. At one point there were chihuahuas in the pool area on the table. My point being, pet owners really had no clear indication of where to go, and the paper I was handed was outdated if things had changed; or the designated area(s) were unidentifiable. 6: We were told the ice machine for our building was upstairs, but when my husband made the trek up there, he found it was not dispensing ice and it was dirty, as though it hadn't been used in a long time. 7: The white bed covers had some weird staining, but I believe they'd been washed. Some stains need extra attention - Bleach doesn't always remove them. 8: The morning after our first night, I received a text message “ Allbright party, I just wanted to make sure everything was okay with your first night in the room.” to which I responded, “ Thanks for checking, we seem to be short a garbage can, the sink drains so slowly it might as well be a bucket of water, but the beds are comfy and we slept well. Also we noticed that people aren't picking up after their pets in the back lawn, which may be because there aren't bags provided nor trashcan for putting it in. Watch your step back there! We always bring our own and take care of it.” To which there was no follow-up nor response. We understand the pandemic has created a lot of hardships and so many things are broken or barely functioning, so we allow for that and practice patience when it happens. What we truly noticed here is the lack of caring for simply “good” customer service and experience. (I say good because excellent is too high right now - but we've experienced it at this hotel in the past!) I had fairly good experiences with front desk staff, but housekeeping needs some help. All-in-all, I don't think we'll come back to stay here on our next trip into the Bay Area. Perhaps the owner of the hotel should stay here a few times a year or have friends do so to stay abreast of the customer's experience. It's pretty obvious not many employees care much.
We stayed one night at this hotel and would never go back. We checked in at 10:30 pm, on a Sunday night. The night staff was helpful and friendly. We requested quiet room and were given a room at the end of the hallway on the 3rd (top) floor. Shortly after putting our luggage down we notice a high pitched humming sound. Unplugging the appliances and TV did not help. We called the front desk and the staff said they would bring up the key to another room. When we checked the other room, it was also noisy, and we noticed the humming noise throughout the whole third floor, including the hallways. Since it was so late, we decided to stay and thought that earplugs might help. They didn't. We did not get a good night's sleep. Front desk staff in the morning was not very friendly, but did say that the noise was noted and maintenance staff was alerted to the problem. I did not ask for any compensation for the uncomfortable room. Don't stay there...besides the noise, it's old, beds were saggy, and free breakfast area is small.
I spent two nights in Fremont on business, my room had a king sized bed with a couch, the free coffee was my favorite (Seattle's best) the tv had plenty of channels, the bed was very comfortable and the toiletry's were of good quality, the free breakfast was tasty and warm. What more can you ask for on a business trip?
Great stay at a wonderful hotel with a great wonderful staff! The breakfast area was clean and neat and Marlene very nice. The room was clean, neat and well equipped. the fitness room was also well equipped and clean. The internet fast!
Absolutely no security our company had over 25,000 dollars in tools and equipment stolen from our trucks within two week period.lot security is nonexistent even though you pay to park.I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone….
Room needed TLC. Scratches on furniture and carpet that needed to be stretched in one place. The room smelled of smoke. There was urine on the base of the toilet. The bathtub caulking job was poor. I didn't get the impression that the desk person at check-out cared. It was 6:45 and he didn't even offer me a bagged breakfast.
The property was nice (basic Best Western). Furniture was modern. Amenities were great. Desk staff was great! Room was clean. Covid Breakfast could be better. We had a 3 day stay (medical reasons, close to Washington Hospital), and did not receive requested towel service; maybe a fluke, staying again in 2 weeks. Conveniently located (TONS of eating, shopping, etc walking and short driving distance)
Picked this per MD where husband had surgery. Got a quiet room and slept well. Grab and go had too much sugar but I guess it is the standard Best Western group. I saw the lobby staff cleaning on many occasions and masks were worn. Pool and small jacuzzi but too cold to jump in.
I would not stay anywhere else when I travel to Fremont to visit my mother who is 94 and lives at Fremont Village. The rooms are clean, nice, poolside has soothing views and I can sit outside and regenerate after being at the nursing home. The staff are so welcoming and know me by name when I call. They always take care of you as if you are extended family. There is breakfast in the morning and great coffee. I'm thinking that the company takes good care of their staff, for I see the same employees regularly.
I am never let down by the best western. I can always count on Best Western's rooms to be clean and nice, and the staff is always great, and it easy to o get to my room. Best Western will forever be my go-to hotel.
Staff gave me a room below the price I paid, I asked to reduce the bill but staff declined to do it. Bedding and towels were dirty, the bathtub was dirty with hair, all the room has a odor. The parking was dirty.
I stay at this hotel every time I visit Fremont. The hotel is located right off Highway 880 and is close to a lot of amenities such as gas stations, grocery store, Denny's, Starbucks and other restaurants. The service is excellent. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
My Review about this hotel is totally based on the COVID-19 procedures followed in this property of Best Western. I with my family ( consisting of my 15 month old son who can't wear a Face mask)happened to stay in Best Western plus's Garden Court inn at Fremont. I would have avoided staying in a hotel during this pandemic if it was possible but due to some pest control work in home I didn't had any other option left . I decided to stay there because of the covid safety measures they mentioned in the websites including TripAdvisor. The Hotel clearly says All staffs are required to wear face masks in public but we (me and my son) were in the elevator with staffs ( Housekeeping)without any kind of masks on. The second thing During my stay I haven't seen any hand sanitizers in the property except the reception. When pointed out these things to the receptionist while checking out the receptionist's attitude towards me was very rude. Told me that's what we can do. I am not bothered about the hand sanitizers because I carry my own but the staffs very close to public without face mask is a Big NO. I usually depend mostly on TripAdvisor whenever am looking for a hotel and they clearly mention the things I have said. I know each BestWestern hotel is independently owned and operated but you should stop giving wrong information to public who totally trusts your site.
I have always felt welcomed and have had great customer service. Staff will try to help in any concerns. We keep returning to this hotel. The quality of sleep is amazing. I highly, recommend for couples or for your family.
The hotel is clean, price is decent and food was good. My only BIG concern was that my patio door did not lock, exposing my family to intruders. At the end of the day, a clean hotel...good prices...and good food means NOTHING if you can't keep your guests safe!!
Clean, comfortable, great breakfast , fair price, easy access from major freeway out of congested areas, restaurants near by within walking distance, friendly staff, be sure to request a main floor or building with an elevator if unable to lug bags up stairs
The room was very clean. There was a walk out balcony with couple of chairs and table overlooking pool. They offered a free breakfast in the morning. Convenient location away from city and congestion.
We wanted a comfortable place for 3 of us to stay the night before surgery at a nearby hospital, and Best Western was an excellent choice for this. We splurged on a 1-bedroom suite which gave plenty of room to spread out and 2 bathrooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable - nothing fancy but spacious and nicely decorated. We were on the second floor overlooking the pool area, but in the middle of winter no one was swimming and it was very quiet. The hotel offers cookies and refreshments in the lobby and a mid-week happy hour; while we couldn't partake of the special cocktail that night, we had juice and snacked on the nachos before going to Massimo's across the street for dinner. Our only problem with this hotel was that no one ever answered the phone when we called to the front desk; we'd had a problem connecting with the internet and later had a question about the sofa bed, but on both occasions we had to walk down to the desk to speak with the desk clerk. (And on both occasions the issue was mostly a lack of understanding on our part partly caused by some misleading instruction in the room.) On the whole we were very pleased with this hotel and would stay again if we needed to be in the area.
We needed a convenient accessible location to see friends and relatives in the East Bay and South Bay. This facility is a bit older but has been very well kept up. We were in the building where they allowed guests with pets, and the sound proofing was excellent. There was a wide variety of choices for breakfast. This facility employs some of the friendliest and helpful housekeeping/maintenance staff we have ever encountered. Regardless of their normal duties, they regularly went out of their way to smile, greet us, hold doors open for us, give us directions, and offer assistance. I found this aspect of the facility most outstanding, as it indicates management considers every detail to be important for customer service.
The reason for a lower score on “ sleep quality” was because my wife. and other rooms ,had to someone from the staff to quiet the next door neighbor @ 4 am after spending a exhausting day before because of my surgery . All went well my wife needed an additional because the Dr wasn't ready to release me .the Best Western staff in Fremont Ca, gladly and professionally Took care of her need for a third night . Thank you for great service although I won't be back soon , because I've run out of limbs to replace. Hahaha this property is very convenient not only for the patients pre op needs but for care taker as well .
We have stayed at this hotel more than two times, and we have found it to be the quietest, comfortable, cleanest hotel. The rooms are just modern beautiful decor, plenty of open space, spacious bed and extremely pleasant to sleep in. There is a microwave and big size frig, with plenty of room to store food. A coffee machine and plenty of accessories in the entire room if needed. The breakfast staff in the morning are impressive, so kind and helpful. There's a great variety at breakfast time and a big dining area. This is our favorite hotel where we can rest and enjoy ourselves.
Frist night was quite good as we arrived pretty late; But following nights we not as good as we could hear all the neighbors around (from above as well as from aside) Anoying to hear 10 - 12 times the door of your of next room (not sure what they were doing though) - Breakfast was ok but do not expect any quality bread (i mention this for Europen people...) Typical 20 to 30 years old hotel which needs some refurbishment
Extremely bad experience ... will never ever stay nor i will recommend anyone to stay.. Reception guys withdrew all my money fraudulently and his manager (Roman) is just supporting them... i have not received my money yet.
It was an excellent choice of place for a family visit. Very polite people attended us. Relaxing pool and comfortable suites, fully equipped kitchen, tv, internet and pet friendly. Breakfast was delicious.
Tuesday and Wednesday night happy hour and appetizers is always delicious and hosted by Robert who is wonderful. He is very friendly and enjoyable. Great breakfast selection and morning staff keep everything stocked, hot and clean. Housekeeping is efficient and friendly. Every employee greets me with a smile, a ‘hello' and ‘enjoy your stay'. I don't mind traveling for work can I can stay here.
I experienced personal service, even though a large group was booked at the same time. The breakfast was outstanding: A full breakfast attended by excellent and attentive staff. Check out was seamless, with excellent and personable attitiude. I would definitely return!
The courtyard and pool area is great. You are able to fit a lot of people very comfortably. The hotel is dog friendly, which is nice. The rooms can use some updating. Our air conditioning and toliet was not working which made for a long night.
I am a fan of the BW brand. Their properties never disappoint and this one is no exception. We needed a place to stay close to Washington Hospital for my husbands hip replacement surgery. Came in one day before and stayed two days after his procedure. So close to everything I needed; food, gas, CVS, etc. Room was immaculate and on the ground floor as requested. Everything worked from lighting to locks, fans to air. One of the reasons we always choose BW is the morning breakfast. This is not some slap down coffee, juice and rolls affair. This hotel offered hot and cold cereal with assorted toppings; multiple dairy options; eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, breads and bagels; sweet rolls, yogurt, jam, peanut butter, honey, cream cheese, butter, coffee, teas, juices..... you get the picture. Breakfast was served from 6 am to 9:30. Even though I came down to eat at 9 am, still friendly faces greeted me and were constantly refilling fresh offerings. Grounds are nicely maintained. Lobby areas are welcoming with fresh flowers and a business center. Did not check out the pool as I was on nurse duty! Highly recommend this hotel for all your travel needs.
Very clean, nice place to stay. Everyone was friendly. I enjoyed having breakfast readily available and not having to worry about finding food in the morning. Nice choices too. Good location to grocery store and other basic needs.
Hotel is in good location close to shops. Hotel is clean and has complete amenities. Didn't get the chance to use the pool and the gym due to very short stay but they are a good addition to amenities. The staff is good and efficient. Will stay here again when I'm in the area. Highly recommended.
All and I mean all the staff are kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and positive every day. Helpful with any questions. I'll never hesitate staying at this Best Western. Rooms are clean and comfortable, no complaints.
During our 2 night stay we had two issues: First issue was a room problem and the staff was immediate in their remedy and moved us right away. The second issue had to do with a credit card problem that was beyond my control. Not only was the staff very understanding, they worked with me to assure the best possible outcome. Additionally, this issue caused some unexpected snafus with my reward points and the BW rewards team quickly responded to my inquiry and they were very kind, and again, accommodating and swift in their remedy. Love this place.
My family just recently spent the weekend up in the Bay Area, and Best Western Plus Garden Court Inn fit our needs perfectly - right in between Berkeley and San Jose, where our daughters live. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool, and the delicious breakfast each morning! The staff was incredibly helpful!
The Garden Court Inn was conveniently located off the freeway in Fremont. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The room was nice, but the carpet really needed to be cleaned. Very nice breakfast with lots of options.
Friendly staff offering exceptional service, always eager to be of help and make your stay extraordinary. Rooms are very clean. The atmosphere was quiet and made for a peaceful stay. The continental breakfast was great and very convenient!
Nice room, quiet property, clean surroundings, decent breakfast. Many nearby restaurants walkable or a short Uber/Lyft ride away. Fremont BART station is a 7 minute ride away, too far to walk. Chevron C-store on site.
Nice hotel! I had only one complain that the tub drain was clogged with a lot of hair and other stuff!.... It was really nasty but otherwise the room was perfect. Their best is the continental breakfast .....so many new food items since the last time I was there.
Very good service, really is a 10/10 hotel! We were on a family trip and decided to rent a room here and it has been one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Rooms were very clean & we had great service there, an employee Kimberly left our room spotless and it felt great to have a clean room. Would highly recommend.
Room had an odor. Carpets were nasty and pulling up from floor causing uneven carpet and "ripples" throughout the entire room. Bathroom and sink area were not clean and bathroom sink sprayed water out of the faucet when turned on.. Only positive about this facility was the pool. Has a huge pool and hot tub.
My family and myself are very impressed with Best Western Plus. Everyone seems extremely friendly and the room, facilities and amenities are second to none. However what we will remember most is how welcomed the staff has made us feel, especially Kimberly and her coworkers Marlen and Melany. The next time we return to this area to visit my son and vacation we will definitely be booking our stay at Best Western Plus.
Robert was very friendly and he made the happy hour so much fun with his friendly conversations.Erica checked me in so well,i felt welcome from the moment i walked in.This is one of the 'best' best western ive been too in a long time.Thankyou
Both Kim and Melanie are very friendly. I stayed here almost three months on and off for work as my company sends me up here. Every morning they're very friendly and helpful always smiling and great service. Really enjoyed getting up to get my coffee and breakfast every day. They make my long work trip very enjoyable a 10 plus. They always ask if they can help me with anything or anything I need. And both very beautiful as well. Beautiful personalities wonderful hard these ladies have they really go above and beyond the Call of Duty. Scott.nordlander1@gmail.com Thanks Kim and melanie
Though the interior was fine, the parking lot was another story. On the second night of our 4-night stay our rental car was broken into while parked directly in front of the lobby building in a designated hotel property spot. There are very few well-lit & visible spots to park and the parking lot is very dark. If you don't return to the parking lot before 8pm you are sure to have to park in the deserted spots on the far side of the hotel. On our 3rd night, the front desk clerk said we could park in a loading zone so our car would be more visible only to receive a parking warning the next morning. Lack of communication between staff. After expressing our concerns to staff and management, the "oh well" response we got was "yeah, break-ins have been happening a lot here." If you know there is a security problem then maybe try doing something about it! Will not be staying here again.
First of all, I want to thank Kimberly for a great service, she is always kind and efficient giving to the Clients a good smile even for me and my kid, great attitude always efficient and effective and she is ready for everything.
There are 3 buildings in this hotel, A, B and C. Do not stay in building C. My 3 main issues: - There is no Elevator. can you you believe this? Don't stay here, if you have luggage with you. - The whole building (C) smells weird. - Carpet in the room was sticky, probably too old.
I have stayed here several times before, the property is very nice and well maintained, the staff is very professional and helpful. If you are visiting the area I would highly recommend it. The Best Western Garden Court is a very good place to stay.
Place is nice, staff is very nice. Breakfast is wonderful! Ladies keep food well stocked. Had a toilet overflow, and carpet was a bit damp and sticky in rm 208. Prior stay had no issues so I think we will definitely be back and give them another chance. Our children (6,3 & 2 years old) absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. They even got to have pool toys in the main pool.
I thought this would be a nice property given the reviews. The neighborhood doesn't feel safe. You do have two separate keyed entrances to pass through to get to your room so that's something, and the pool area is very nice, surrounded by gardens, which was appealing to me. We had booked a lower level, pool view room so we'd have a nice patio and not have to haul our luggage up a flight of stairs as there is no elevator. But when we entered the corridor we were assigned to there was a dog barking non-stop in the room next to us and the entire hallway reeked of urine. It even permeated to our room. After sitting in the room for a minute I decided I couldn't take it and asked to be moved. The gentleman at the front desk was very sweet and accommodating, but unfortunately for us, all they had available was the room above the barking dog or an upstairs room facing the road and parking lot. I had hoped this would be a nice stay as I was travelling with my kids, but it was kind of a nightmare. The room lighting and decor aren't nearly as nice as they look online. It felt empty and unnerving. There was such a large gap around all sides of the door that you could hear every noise and there was so much light pouring in through the cracks that the room wasn't dark. Sadly, there were homeless people camped outside. They were also doing some work on the rooms in our building so there was drilling and hammering going on in the morning. The whole experience was just terrible. They are right across the street from a grocery store and Starbucks, as well as next door to a gas station and a couple of restaurants, so that's convenient. This property is also right off the freeway. We didn't get to use the pool because switching rooms took so much time and effort, and we didn't try the breakfast as I was too grossed out by the whole experience to even bother. I would not return to this property.
Excellent hotel and grounds, clean, beautiful garden setting, best breakfast with many protein options (eggs, bacon, sausage) as well as pancakes and waffles. Excellent staff - professional, genuinely friendly.
This is a nice gated safe place to have family stay with out anything to worry about. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, helpful/ friendly staff, great breakfast options, clean and properly working pool and hot tub.
This hotel was a lovely surprise! Well appointed lobby, comfortable bed, lovely patio overlooking the pool and grassy knoll. I've stayed in many Best Western's during the last few years for business travel. This stay was to be with family and I was pleasantly surprised at the great location - close to freeway, yet quiet - close to shopping, easy access to the areas I was visiting.
We stayed at the Garden Court for 3 nights while visiting family nearby. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The lavatory is outside the toilet/shower bathroom, a plus. Though one downside, for travelers of a certain age, is that the tub/shower has a rather slippery floor, with no non-slip mat nor grab bars. There were real (not paper or plastic) coffee cups and glasses in the room. Another curious "feature" is that the refrigerator is entirely enclosed inside the credenza---surely not good for energy efficiency nor long fridge life! I was a little surprised that the price for each of our 3 nights was different---the third (a Tues) twice that of the first---but the average was reasonable. The breakfast was well above average, with fresh berries during our stay. We will stay there again on our next visit.
I travel every week for work. This little find was a gem. Nice remodeled rooms. Very clean rooms (even behind the credenza....I looked). Nice property too. Huge pool and very large and inviting hot tub. The breakfast in the morning is incredible. Eggs, bacon, sausage and several cold cereals and Oh the waffles. They have a great assortment of fresh fruits and condiments. If you are lucky enough to be there on the days have the fresh salsa out....GO GET IT! The salsa in amazing, and fresh (rumor has it that one of the people in the kitchen makes it). As my business partner said when I got down there, you can build a restaurant around it alone. The people that run the breakfast room and kitchen are super friendly and make sure you have everything you need to get your day started. Very impressed with them. Wish I had some of them working for me. In the evening, they have a very friendly and personable gentleman serving up cold beer and wine and he always has some good food out too. All in all, I was very impressed with my stay of three days. I would with a doubt recommend this BW+ to anyone passing through Fremont or nearby.
This is my go to place in Fremont. It's clean , comfortable and the staff are outstanding . Robert , Christian, Rafael and Diane treat me better than family. Happy hour Tuesday and Wednesday turns the guests into a small friendly community. It's like going to Cheers where everyone knows your name.
This hotel was perfect for our needs for two days while visiting a family member in Oakland. Customer service was excellent for everyone working there from the gal in the breakfast area, helping hands. front desk and management. Beds were extremely comfortable, pillows were soft, towels were not hard and rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast offered waffles and pancakes, hot eggs, sausage. bacon, and other breakfast items not seen at most establishments. There is a pool and hot tub but did not use them as it was cold and rainy while we were there. One note.. There is security in parking lot but was advised by clerk to take everything out of vehicle that was valuable. Would stay here again if in the area.
Perfect for our needs (location for visiting a relative). Very nice outdoor pool and gardens. Very nice self-serve hot and cold breakfast. Better than the many hotels along 680. Many restaurants and grocery stores very nearby.
I like the way is very easy to check in and out, free access internet, I like the bathroom with the detail of tissue and towels, bed is comfortable and breakfast with various selection is plus. The convenience location is only 3 minutes from HWY.
Stayed here one night with my dog. The room was very nice with a slider door to a little court yard by the pool. The grounds are very nicely kept and it is nice and quiet. Restaurants are within walking distance. I would not hesitate to stay here again. I didn't check out the breakfast though as the pet rooms are in a wing quite far from the area where the breakfast is served.
Best hotel I been to excellent service by Robert couldn't ask for anything better. The professionalism and courtesy he displayed was exceptional.I will definitely be returning real soon.Thank you very much.
We asked for a balcony room and they obliged at no extra charge. The pool area is amazing! I worked under a poolside table, shaded by an umbrella, for a couple of hours. Breakfast was delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy. We walked to a nice restaurant for dinner.
I am a consultant and I travel a lot for work. Historically, I've been a Marriott and Hyatt traveler, so I was a little apprehensive when my company booked me into a Best WEstern Plus Hotel. What a delightful surprise!!! The stay was incredible.....from the service to the amenities to the hotel accommodations. I highly recommend staying here!!!!
Found this location to be one I would stay in again. Very clean, staff friendly, beds comfortable and location close to everything we needed. Lots of places to eat close by so no need to travel far for anything you may want.
Nice hotel with friendly and courteous staff. Location was great..Close to everything in Fremont. Either a short ride or walking distance. Close to hospitals, very convenient for our stay. I would book this hotel again.
My grandson and I had an 8am first pitch on Saturday - so rather than get up real early(in SF) and head to the Fremont Baseball complex ,we decided to ck into the Best Western on the Friday nite prior.. It allowed us both a few more ZZZ's and felt like a real Baseball travel expierence.. Only snag~ he had to be at the park at 7am /missed Breakie !!
This was a great place to stay for our group of approximately 30. Kid friendly & very accommodating. Very clean & comfortable rooms, great breakfast, & excellent service. We'll definitely stay here again.
I stayed into this hotel 2 times last year, each one for 2 weeks and I have to say that everything was great. Rooms are clean and big, front desk people very polite and the location is really nice, very close to a lot of good places to eat. It's not a 5 just because for me they should have a bit more options for breakfast.
Had I been in one of the two three-story buildings, maybe my experience would have been different. When I announced I had a pet ($25 fee per pet per night, btw) they said they couldn't put me in the original room planned and I would have to be in a different building. The two-story building that is pet friendly seemed outdated -- the drop ceiling in the entry/vanity area was so low that my 5'03 self could touch the ceiling. The ceiling in the main living space was about a foot higher, but still felt very closed-in and unpleasant. The carpets must have been cleaned with a bad product or too much product, because they were sticky. I wore my flip flops the whole time. Bathroom obviously old. Other than the age of the building and the bad product for carpet cleaning - it seemed clean and like they were trying hard to make it nice. The furniture and decor were nice and seemed consistent with the other buildings and the website. The amenities were nice (multiple different bath products, nice designed modern wood vanity decor) The refrigerator was a good size and fit plenty of food. Small freezer compartment kept an ice-pack frozen. Microwave was small. Direct TV had HBO. No on demand services. Coffee maker was single-cup special packaging option. Breakfast was nice, usually had some hot foods including eggs, oatmeal bar, fresh fruit, fresh breads. etc. Note the original room I was supposed to be in, before I said I had a dog, was not ready at the time of the 3pm check in.
Having just stayed in a comfort inn in Portland this seemed to be from the same chain - it had the exact same furniture in the room! Hotel has a nice outlook onto the pool although February is too cold to use it. The pool area has nice seating and if weather had been warmer it would have been a nice place to sit and relax. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Furniture has seen better days but not too bad. Nice modern TV with good selection of channels. Breakfast was a bit bland - same selection every morning which became very tedious. Waffle machine wasn't working but had an automatic pancake machine which was fine. Breakfast room is small and some mornings too cold. Coffee available from here 24/7. Reception was nice with free fruit water and sometimes muffins / fruit. There is a small snack store at reception but its only across the reception to the Petrol (Gas) Station which has a larger selection. Didn't compare prices between both. Rooms were cleaned / bed made every morning and the Maid replaced towels when required. Overall a pleasant stay.
Nice hotel room. Restaurants are close to the location of the hotel. Freeway is also close to the hotel. Next time when I go to Fremont I will stay there again at that hotel. I also liked that they had happy hour at the hotel.
I love Best Western. So when we had to fly to the bay for a funeral, they were the only brand I looked at. The location was five minutes away from the church, and right off the 880 freeway. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms. The refrigerator was a little noisy at times, but it was not annoying enough to complain to management about. Otherwise, I would definitely stay here again. Keep up the good work Best Western.
The room looked just like the newer pictures. The location is wonderful, surrounded by shopping and restaurants,( applebee's and olive garden directly behind the hotel) The staff was attentive and kind, plenty of free parking.
Arriving at this BW The front desk was very informative and accomidating and interseted in us and our needs. We felt very welcomed , safe, and taken care of. I have stayed at 8 different BW in mostly northern California and was concerned what it would be like in fremont. I Lov e It.
I stayed here with my wife for a little get together in town. The staff is so friendly and caring and the room smells like it was recently updated. My wife heard some commotion outside the room on the 2nd night and saw that a gentleman had fallen by the elevator. Huge shoutout to Christian who handled the situation and waited until the paramedics arrived to help the poor guy. Overall a super place and we hope to be back next year!
Staying at this hotel for personal issues with my new purchased home, My work schedule is very weird as leave early or work late or traveling. I barely get to see all the staff at this hotel, however all have made my stay at Best Western Garden Plus a friendly and safe place. As I miss my family so much but as I walk to the front desk when I get chance, I get welcomed beautifully. All smiles and positive vibes. Trust is very important, I get that respect at this hotel. I would like to personally thank Ericka, Robert, Tejanique, Christian, Cielo, Winnie, Marzia. Dianna and all the housekeeping staff for being respectful and understanding with my husband and I. Security individual who works at night, they make it safe place to walk up to the room at if coming late at night. I am very grateful and thankful to all. I cannot express enough gratitude for all of you. Thank You!!!
Decent stay. Would expect a bit better since being a platinum member. However, they seem to be more interested in doing there weekly review. (Rob) Its only 11 pm and can't even get a room till he finishes. I believed that a audit would the last you do once everyone is checked in and past the hours or getting room. Just saying. Not harm or disrespect to anyone.
From the very first time i walked into the main lobby to check into my room after getting off of work at 5am i must say the night person at the front desk was very very welcoming and professional. Customer Service skills 110%. Thank You Dyan for making my stay the best.
I arrived home from the holidays late at night to discover I had misplaced my keys. I tried contacting several locksmiths and got the runaround. I started calling hotels as a backup only to discover most were sold out to a collegiate football championship at Levi's. I made one last call to the Best Western Plus Garden Court Inn and Dyan answered. She indicated there was one room left and that she would hold it for me. She also mentioned she would not charge a full rate given how late in the night it was. I grabbed a Lyft and headed straight for the hotel. She greeted me with a snack bag because she suspected I may have been hungry from a long day of air travel and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. She is an amazing exemplar of what customer service should be and I cannot express enough gratitude for her. Thank you!!!
I'm always delighted when the company I work for puts us up in this hotel, why? because of the professional staff that they have here. The front desk staff ( Marzieh) always greets people coming in with a cheerful voice. The Happy Hours staff (Robert) knows very well on how to keep the refreshments fully stocked, and greets most of the guests by their last names and offers them a refreshment or something bite to eat that they provide to snack on.
Clean rooms and a decent breakfast! Nice cable choices in room, lots of channels to pick from. Happy hour with free beer, wine and pizza on Tuesday ( I think they have it on Wednesday, too) afternoon in the hotel lobby was fun! Great job Robert!
On our way to our honeymoon we stayed here for a night and it was one of the most pleasant experiences we've ever had. They recognized our honeymoon by upgrading us to a suite and presenting us with a bottle of wine. I also want to shout out Christian and Adrianna who provided amazing service. They both deserve a raise! I'll honestly say that I stay at 5 star hotels regularly and I experienced better service at this place than many of those 5 star hotels. I'll definitely be back. Easily the nicest best western I've ever stayed at.
breakfast was excellent and Yuri and Marlen were very nice and attentive towards the service they were providing. The salsa was the best! The hotel itself was excellent and had many complementary meals that were very good. The hotel also had a pool which was very fun to go swimming.
If you are planning to stay in Fremont, CA area, look no further. This is the best. Very good service, staffs there will make you feel valued and respected. Very comfortable stay, fantastic location, next to major freeway and surrounded by all kinds of restaurant.
Had a great stay at the Best Western Plus Garden Court Inn! Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful, especially Robert! He is the best. Hopefully business will bring me back in the near future.
Had to make a reservation over the phone, reservation clerk said she would give me a discounted rate and seemed very compassionate. Told me she would give me a discounted rate of about $200 per night (standard size room). I was distraught & needed a place to stay. When I checked out my rate was over $500 for the 2 nights. Toilet malfunctioned and took 3 phone calls and 2 hours to get maintenance. They resolved issue but didn't clean. When I returned home I researched website & found that normal rate is $140 per night. I should have been charged about $300 instead of $500. I feel they took advantage of me...will never stay her again, how sad.
This is a very nice hotel, great ground, rooms and excellent staff. It has easy access to the highway and is in a good location. The pool is grat and well maintained, breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend this location.
Stayed here whilst travelling to Santa Cruz after visiting family in Ceres. My wife and I arrived here at 1am and did not have a reservation, just turned up based on the TripAdvisor reviews. The local area is pretty quiet but there are plenty of food options during the day. The front reception area is very clean, with plenty of seating and three computers available for guests to use. The lady at reception (Dyan) was extremely friendly and managed to offer a discounted price due to the late check in. She also gave us a complementary upgrade to the Ohlone suite as it wasn't occupied. I signed a form agreeing no pets or smoking in the room, therefore I'm assuming pet friendly rooms are kept separate. The suite was huge with a kitchen and sitting area, two bathrooms and a queen bed. Although the decor seems a little dated, it was clean and spacious. The room had a balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool area. We didn't use the pool due to the short stay. Breakfast was included as part of the booking. The food was nice and had quite a few different options. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel. Pros - Friendly reception staff Free parking Good breakfast included Spacious room Computers available Cons - Wobbly doors on the room Dated look No safe provided in the room
Very pleasant stay. Well maintained and clean. Comfy beds. Big sliding door that can be opened for lots of fresh air. No restaurant or room service but there are plenty of places within walking distance. I'd stay there again.
This Best Western is comfortable with great amenities and a reasonably priced hotel for the Bay Area. Lots of services in the vicinity (eaterys, gas stations, markets) and there is a bus stop a few yards away. I take the bus directly to the Fremont BART station and from there you can access the entire Bay Area without having to drive. I stayed here and attended a football game at UC Berkerely and left all the trnsportation hassles to someone else!
I stayed at this location during a business trip the hotel was okay wasn't one of the best I've stayed at customer service is really good. The breakfast was delicious one of the top breakfast as I have ever had in a hotel location. . I was not happy with my room the water in the bathtub was all the way up to my ankles while I'm taking a shower I thought I was going to have ring around the ankles. I would only stay here if there was nothing else available
During our stay at Best Western Hotel, Fremont CA. Staffs here goes out of their way to make sure our stay is safe and make it fell very family like. I have personally thanked all but would like to acknowledge them on the site as well. Erica who has given more than ever asked help from the beginning of our hotel check in and our stay. Also during my hard days of work her listening to me with my stressed day stories. Thank you Erica Robert, oh our happy hour buddy and mostly a safe guard I must say. Two days of happy our and my wine and his great smile and wonderful customer service. Being a home it matters our safety and while I was at the pool side at night he personally came twice to check up on me to make sure I am safe. Thank You Robert Tejanique, smile smile and all smile. Great customer service and full of energy and giving us reason to chill in the lobby. Quick to all the response to our stay and needs at night. Thank you Tejanique Blanca, she has been cleaning our room during the stay. Clean room and going out of her way of doing extra and have all the room to clean whole day she had no complains and going extra mile asking if I need anything else. Appreciate her and thank you Blanca. Again Thank you for making our stay so homely and family like stay. Room 204 Singh
Best breakfast. Very clean room. Small but we'll equipped workout room. Convenient location. Best welcoming experience ever. Christ I an even helped me to my room as I had a heavy suitcase and computer. Again, best breakfast I've had in last 20 tears. Above and beyond the expensive hotels!!!!
My most favorite thing about staying here is the employees! Without fail they are kind, friendly , helpful, and fun! Special thanks to tejanique and robert for making life easier. The hotel itself is pretty good. Clean, good breakfast, happy hour a couple nights a week, and a fridge and microwave in the room . The lobby could be at a Marriott courtyard. This is my go/to when I need a hotel in Fremont!
I have been here to this hotel several times over the last year and a half. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Company pays for it, but wouldn't hesitate to stay here on my dime. Several places to eat nearby. Makes it easy. Right off the highway, but not too noisy. ??
We reserved 3 rooms for one night, two with dogs. There was a bit of a mix-up when we checked in, we were supposed to be in a king patio room facing the pool and we weren't initially, but we called the front desk and they moved us across the hall facing the pool, next to our relatives, but the room had 2 queens. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and had a nice big patio and access to the grass area for our dogs from the slider.
I stayed while on vacation in SF, picked this place after spent a few night in SF and want to go visit Yosemite nation park. the hotel surround by good restaurant, shopping center even AMC IMAX, watched late night movie with my wife 1st time in 5 years..
Nice Friendly Staff, Lots of Parking, Very Clean Rooms with a View. Walking Distance to many Good restaurants and Fast Food places. Their Breakfast Buffett was always stocked with hot, fresh entrees and fresh fruits. I would Love to Stay here again whilest in the area.
This hotel has a good vibe... the room was huge, the shower worked well... good water presure... nice big pool and caring staff. I really wish i could have spent more time just chilling... oh well.... next time
We had to go to a funeral service on July 6. Arrived July 5th. Stay two nights. Our room was on the third floor with a balcony facing the street. Room was cleaned, beds were comfortable. Weather was great we slept with balcony door opened. no street noise or noise from next room. (Well, we don't know if anybody was staying next to us) Breakfast was great, better than other hotels. The two ladies that work in the cafeteria go above and beyond. They are awesome... First morning We didn't get enough fruit. But next morning they looked for me and offered me some. She said we noticed yesterday you didn't get any fruit! Oh My Goodness.... they didn't have to do that for me. I felt so happy. I really, really appreciated their efforts. Please tell them “Thanks a million”. I did tell them but one time is not enough. My SIL forgot her shampoo. I went to the front desk and asked for some. I obtained two shampoos and two conditioners. Not the tiny kind either. Our stay was very pleasant, we will stay here again!
Everything about my stay was good. Although lobby computers should be upgraded and the items the Hotel has for sale are few, the best is among the most comfortable ever, the breakfast is excellent (has an automatic pancake maker!) and the staff is friendly, present but not intrusive.
Super clean hotel Breakfast was great ! Employees very helpful Melanie was very nice and always helping with a smile, excellent employee. They make you feel at home. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.
We had a short stay. Just overnight, so did not get to use all amenities like the pool, etc. However, it was exactly what we needed. Not overly luxurious, but very quiet even though the pool was near and was loaded with children. So, nicely insulated rooms. Clean , nicely appointed, coffee maker , etc. First floor rooms had a small patio with a table and chairs. Expansive breakfast. We definitely would come back for another stay.
I had the best customer service by Melanie and Francisca I would love to give a 100 to them thank you so much you made me feel like home or better , best breakfast around I stayed in other hotels nothing like Best Western in Fremont Ca I highly recommend I am planning on going back soon , beautiful views with an amazing swimming pool , here are some pics Thank you to Melanie and Francisca for all your services ?? Elizabeth Rosete a happy ?? customer !!
This hotel gets pluses for its central location, good breakfast (cool pancake machine!), and good blackout curtains. The only negative was LOUD ice-maker, fortunately not near our room. Staff members were friendly.
This June was my second time staying at Best Wester Plus Gardens Court Inn. My mom and I usually go to the Bay Area every June and since we loved it last year, we repeated our stay here, This second time it only got better. The rooms were neat and cleaned. The cleaning staff is always so friendly and helpful. Francesca is one of the ladies who helped us when we needed more towels or toiletries. She also gave us information in regard to more attractions in Fremont and a few in the rest of the bay cities. The breakfast is amazing! It starts early and the variety of foods is truly awesome. Every morning you get greeted by really nice ladies who are smiling and going from place to place making sure we hungry people do not run out of delicious food. For those who are troubled by the idea of unhealthy eating, do not worry because they are plenty of healthy options too. Fresh cut fruit and fruit bowls throughout the area make it easier to fulfill our fruit and veggie intake. The coffee there is brewed strong for sure, and that means a lot since I am an avid coffee drinker who enjoys strong coffee. Melanie was a sweet girl who works in the kitchen. We met her last year and this year she still remembered us. She was so sweet, she made sure we had a good breakfast. She also told us about some attractions north of the bay. Fremont is a great quiet city, that is just minutes from the busy and somewhat chaotic cities surrounding San Francisco and its bay. The hotel has a small cute gym too! Otherwise, well known membership gyms are very close as well as a new huge mall just across the freeway! For the above 21 visitors, happy hour may be your thing. They offer free wine and appetizers on Tuesday and Wednesday nights! The pool is also great, getting a pool view room is definitely nice but a bit more noisy, therefore great for families, this year apposed to last year we got a room with the view of the city, which was relaxing and calming. Next year when my mom and I go up to the bay again we will be booking our stay here again for sure!
Had a room issue at check in, but it was quickly addressed and solved by the Customer Service Agent named Robert. He was very friendly and helpful. Great free breakfast with a large selection of items at this location.
Elsa from best western garden court inn she made my stay very pleasant she's such a good person and very kind I e gotten to know her over the last few months I've stay at this location all the staff are awesome rooms are clean and nice they have amazing breakfast it's soooo goood and they do free dinner and beer wine and soda on tue wed nights very fun Atmosphere love staying here can't wait to come back thanks again to all of your staff and to Elsa!!
They're doing an amazing job with the morning breakfast. Absolutely delicious! The rooms are kept neat and clean not to mention they're electric energy. I'm here on business and I can't wait to come back on a leasure trip. They're amazing
I highly recommend staying here. My co-workers and I have been using this facility for over a year, while being deployed away from our homes to work at a 500 Fortune company. I want do a shout out to a few staff members. Cielo, the front desk clerk, is very polite and helpful when it comes to check-in and asking her about where are some good eateries in the community. Two out standing maids/breakfast staff Kimberly and Marlen, they greet everyone with a smile in the mornings at breakfast and willing to lend a helping hand with any question about the breakfast, which is a large variety food to choose from. More then most hotels I've stayed at, and they're very suburb housekeepers. My room always smells freash and clean after they've cleaned it. It feels like home. Elsa, is in charge of the Housekeeping staff and runs the Tuesday/Wednesday night Happy Hour. Good food and drinks. Pedro, is the head Maintenance guy, he's always on the ready to solve the problem asap when I've reported a problem with my bathtub drain running slow as molasses in the winter time.
I don't know why this hotel got 2star rating but for me it's a 5star hotel, lot of positives good service, front desk guys really friendly and the lady, her name I don't know exactly may be Kimberl, she really helped my family members and my children. thank you lady and really it's a recommended hotel for all category people
The service and clean up ws SUPER good, especially from (Kimberly & Marlen.) Great service 10/10 I would recommend all my family members to come here in the future when they need it. Will be coming again soon.
Great staff(especially Kimberly and Marlen), best high speed internet at a hotel, awesome house cleaning. This is a great place to come for personal, business, or anything and the bed are big and feel fantastic.
We traveled to Freemont CA for a family event (wedding). Needed a nearby place to stay. Researched all other comparables in the area and found this one to be the best value. We were not disappointed. Breakfast was included and it was very complete. The hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Kimberly, Marlen, and Elsa are three names I remember of staff members that stood out. Kimberly would always greet us in the morning and her friendly attitude was contagious. Thank you all,
On the overflow to San Francisco, I found this conveniently located, clean, well-serviced hotel. Staff is extremely helping and caring. Breakfast is much better in quality for usual complementary offering.
the whole staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful. we arrived late at night and receptionist knew we just wanted to rest and facilitated things quickly.breakfast is wonderful!the ladies who kept the breakfast coming, elsa, kimberly and yury, were on top of things and made sure people started their day right!will definitely come back here to stay if we are in the area.thank you guys!
All employees always smiling specially our housekeeper "Yuri" she did a great job. Had a good time at this place and will continue to recommend and will continue use for future stays. Thank you All for the service!
This is a terrific hotel - welcoming staff, Clean facility, comfortable rooms, free parking, and outstanding breakfast. Only issue was old, soiled sheets on sofa bed, but staff corrected this error immediately. Location was quiet even though near freeway + main drag, but what was that weird whining sound that seemed to reverberate from the ventilation system all night? We were in 304 close to the elevator, so maybe that was the culprit. Lost some sleep because of this, but really enjoyed the stay overall. hot tub needed repair (cold) but otherwise the place is nice + well managed. Good dining choices within walking distance.
Once again I stayed and the service is great! Melanie and Yuri are the best! I couldn't see coming here without them....I love this place and every other person is here. The food is always good and I really love the salsa they make from scratch. I will continue to come here as long as this staff stay the same. I have never felt more comfortable here in my life.
Fremont Itself not up to very much. But if you need a place to stay, this is a pretty good option. The room was very clean and reasonably spacious. And we found the staff to be very friendly. They also lay on a very good breakfast, with plenty of options, both hot and cold. We did not get the time to try the pool but it looked very pleasant. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay here and had no complaints.
Started of badly. Had requested 1st floor pet friendly room with outside access as we had our dog with us. The day before arrival confirmed this with hotel directly. No problem. On arrival told that no rooms of that type available. Whilst hotel accepted reservations not possible to guarantee particular room location as that was done on a "first come first served basis". One of the staff Robert concentrated on saving the day while his colleague spent her time trying to justify the policy! Robert prevailed on the day but in talking to other guests there who we know the problem was widespread. Will think twice before returning. Breakfast excellent!!!
The staffing from front desk, house keeping to kitchen staff was the selling point of this property. The food options for breakfast are the best I have seen. Melanie, Yuri and Winnie were such a bonus too this property.
I was greeted by Yuri and Marlen upon entering the breakfast area. I saw they greet everyone with beautiful smile. The food choices were great, well arranged and maintained. There were fresh blueberries and cut strawberries next to the waffle machine. There was a condiment station with canned peaches, cottage cheeses, guacamole, and more. The hot food also included biscuits with meat gravy, my favorite. The dining area was nice and clean too.
I really like this hotel. It was very nice rooms very clean. The coffee and tea that was very good. The people working there are always smiling, and they are very polite. The ladies in the kitchen, i think their names were Melanie and Yuri, they were also very nice they made me feel welcome and they would talk to me.
Since September 2017 I have been staying at this property one week a month. A few highlights include; happy hour each Tuesday & Wednesday hosted by Elsa. Very nice get together with complementary wine and beer with heavy appetizers. During the summer months burgers & hot dogs on the grill. The breakfast is complete with eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes. The pancake maker is quite interesting and makes excellent cakes. Melanie, Yuri & Marlene make sure the breakfast offering is running smoothly and provide exceptional service. Comfortable bed and pillows. Walking distance to several eateries and a well stocked party store.
I have yet to have any issues with this place! My first experience was during Christmas, and since then I have stayed at this place with my family everytime we need to book a room. This place is great! from the front desk to all the housekeeping and maintenance. I have stayed here for a few weeks and have developed a relationship with most of the staff. The staff they have here is amazing and they all seem to get along just fine. Breakfast is one of my favorite past times. Melanie and Judy are great and what they do and everytime I get a chance I tell them myself. However I figured I would come on here and tell the rest of the world what they are missing.
The staff were extremely helpful. Recommend a great place for dinner. The only thing I would change is the direction for getting ice. The ice machine is well hidden. I followed where the arrow pointed, and ended up walking down 3 flights of stairs - and at the bottom no ice machine. Robert at the reception area said that I was not the only one who stated it could be better labeled. The Room was GREAT! The employees were all friendly and SMILING!
Every time my company stays here we feel at home. Whether it's the hospitality or the evening receptions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Elsa in particular, has been more than accommodating during these evenings. The breakfast is great, more that enough options for someone, even the most pickiest of eaters. The rooms are clean, the bedding fresh, and haven't personally had any issue at this location. All in all a really nice stay.
Check in and check out was smooth. Requests were honored and the room was ready, clean and organized. It was necessary to call front desk to access internet, but it was my misunderstanding of instructions. It was a comfortable stay for my husband and me.
The Fortune 500 company I work for has been using this hotel for it's out of town workers and residence workers for over a year. We've been at other hotels nut find that this one has a great staff. A few go the extra mile to help out with one's needs for a more comfortable stay. Cielo, Elsa and Kimberly go the extra mile. Even at the last minute, when I needing my room done by one of the maids.
We had real issues with cleanliness during our recent 4-night stay at the Best Western Plus Garden Court Inn. On the second day of our stay, we were gone from about 10 a.m. until about 3:30 p.m. When we returned, the room had not been cleaned. We showered and changed and left again at about 4:30 p.m. On our way out I stopped at the front desk and told Robert our room had not been cleaned. He said he would pass along the information. We came back at about 11 p.m. and the room was still dirty. Went to complain again. Robert shrugged and said the housekeeping staff was gone and there was nothing he could do. Another employee, Jason, sat reclined in a chair while speaking to me, and smugly said he would give me clean sheets and I could change the beds myself. Obviously, this isn't acceptable customer service. I asked to speak to a manager and Jason said no one was available; however, the manager overheard him lying and came out to talk to me. She apologized and offered to move us, but my that time my kid was already in bed and we didn't want to pack all our stuff up and move rooms. Housekeeping did come the next day and left gross, stained towels. On the day we were checking out, my severely-nut allergic son was checking under the beds for anything we might have forgot and found almonds and a wrapper for a peanut butter granola bar left by a previous guest under the bed. There was also A LOT of dirt under both beds, so it was obvious no one had cleaned under them in quite awhile. Leaving food on the floor attracts bugs and mice, and is really gross. I was going to tell the manager (Diane) at the front desk about the trash under the beds when I checked out, but she was on the phone and didn't bother to look up when I put my key cares on the counter. I left and immediately sent an email to the hotel telling them to clean under the beds. I got no response. So..... don't stay at this hotel unless you are willing to clean your own room and change your own sheets and bring your own clean towels. And bring an Epi-pen if your kid is allergic to nuts or other food they may find under the beds.
theirs nothing better then coming to a home a way from home after a long day at work to a clean good smelling room and just relaxing and unwinding and waking up to one of the best breakfast ive had in hotels and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays you have elsa catering to your food needs and good environment
We have stayed at this property several times and the staff has been helpful, courteous each time. The property is very well maintained and is just off the Mowry exit of highway 880. Shopping, restaurants are located nearby.
I stayed here for three weeks, it was very pleasant to stay. Staff was very nice, special thanks to Elsa Williams she was very friendly and talkative. I love the Open House 2 days in a week, it includes the drink and light food. Breakfast was good, room was clean. Many restaurants and shopping malls are near to this hotel. Overall, amazing experience!!! the best hotel in Bay Area.
If you are hungry in the morning, take this Hotel. Every Thursday you get free drinks for 2 hours ??. Rooms are clean. Very close to the freeway 880. High speed internet for free and works very well! I just can recommend it!
Everyone was friendly and willing to help! Breakfast was amazing!! The showers became clogged but it was corrected immediately. Very Happy with this hotel. I especially enjoyed the singing housekeeping staff!!
I stay in hotels all across the USA, and this is my favorite place to stay. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Everyone on the hotel staff are very friendly and very professional. The breakfast is so yummy and I love the Open House that hold every Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When I stay in the Bay Area I always stay here!
I've been staying here for about 5 months while on a work assignment. Elsa is awesome!! Glad I'm staying here and not somewhere else!! Actually, all of the staff here are extremely friendly and helpful.
We arranged for a block of rooms to accommodate the traveling guests for our Dec 2, 2017 wedding. We anticipated 10-12 rooms needed however we underestimated just how popular we are (lol) and ended up needing more than 20 rooms. The staff at the hotel were able to reserve rooms for all of our guests at the agreed upon rate. The hotel itself is super convenient to the freeway, restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. as well as our wedding venue. The staff, from the front desk to the breakfast area attendants to house keeping were friendly and could not do enough to ensure our stays were enjoyable. We had a number of senior citizens in our group and they were all accommodated with 1st floor rooms for ease of access. The breakfast buffet was simple, tasty and wide-ranging enough to satisfy the pickiest of eaters (and we had some picky eaters). We had so many family and friends comment to us on how much they enjoyed their stays. A number of them stated that this will be their hotel choice for future Fremont visits. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed (refrigerator, microwave, iron/ironing board, WiFi). Erica (I'm not sure I've spelled that right), the hotel Manager was at our beck and call. She was kind enough to arrange for a conference room we used to put together favors with my wife's grandchildren. She constantly checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed...our entire party. We were even surprised with a lovely gift basket in recognition of our wedding day. Our entire party were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of our stay and can not thank Erica and her staff enough. The logistical challenges of accommodating so many guests was handled to perfection.
Every time I have gone to the Fremont area over the last 14 years, I stay here. It's an excellent hotel with an amazing staff. This hotel has everything that you need with great restaurants within walking distance.
I returned to the Best Western Plus Garden Court for a 2 night stay ... it was MUCH nicer this time! The room was great with a comfy and clean bed! Staff were very welcoming and helpful! I definitely recommend this place and plan to return myself in a few months!!
This stay I was optimistic about staying here. But after staying here it turned out to be one of my best stays of the year. I I very much appreciate all the staff from checkin to check out. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone whether traveling for business or pleasure. This is definitely a must stay hotel when you ever visit this area. You'll love the great personal friendly service.
My wife is pregnant and has a lot of demands Cristian in the front desk does an amazing job on helping us with out request and needs! This hotel will always be my favorite and I've been everywhere in the best western chain! This and vacaville is always sugested :)
I had the best night stay it was comfortable and very quiet. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Had all the amenities needed nearby, food restaurants, gift and clothing shops as well. Easy access to freeway. Continental breakfast was very good and satisfying.
Have stayed here on-going past 5 weeks. The entire staff and hotel suits the needs of a business traveler. Only thing lacking are in-room safes. Great place to staff, attentive staff and good location for walking to dine out. Try the Afghan food place across the main highway it's 5 stars!
The hotel is basic with nice and helpful staff who will do their best to make your stay better. A little bit over priced. It is located at Fremont near 880 road which is very convenient with many ethnic restaurant in the area
This is our favorite hotel to stay at. The staff is welcoming and the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable and they serve a wonderful breakfast. The rooms with pool view are lovely. I can't wait to return!
This is my 5th year to stay 10 days to two weeks at this hotel. It has the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel and I have traveled extensively. Elsa and Melanie in the breakfast room were very helpful and friendly.
Just an awesome hotel.checking in you were greeting like family. The pool was real nice. The hot breakfest was Delish.Theres even a happy hour tue and wed.Theres hot wings and nachos, hot dogs with all the fixings.Thats were you will meet and you will never for get Elsa Williams. She go's way way out of her way to make sure your having a good time .that you have plenty to eat and drink.I've never had such a good time like this at a happpy hour.Thank you so much Elsa for being you AWESOME !!!!!!.We have nothing to complain about but we never do any way.life is good and the best westerns are did i say AWESOME !!!!.There all kinds of Restaurants around the hotel.Vietnamese,Chinese,American.B.J'sBrewery is pretty good and My Tho Vietnamese was real good also.Well go check out the hotel and tell Elsa we said hi.Have fun enjoy yourselfs and Chilax.ha ha
Over priced! plumbing backed-up after second day. Housekeeping is slow. Breakfast was outstanding for the entire 6 days I stayed there. For the high cost of this hotel the service and amenities should have been much better. The location for business operations is very good.
Not great for the price, this hotel should be charging 160 tops for the area only. It is more like a motel rooms are less than average. Staff is friendly and it's not about them, it's about the condition of the hotel.
The staff was very helpful and courteous, very professional. The room was sufficient, and, best of all, quiet. The free breakfast was certainly pretty good, especially since it was free. The happy hour was enjoyable. Overall, it is a nice place to stay.
Having the hotel located right off the freeway was great for us! We didn't have to spend our time driving around to find the hotel, and in the morning we jumped onto the freeway and we were on our way. The room was CLEAN, which is the very most important thing I look for! Nice variety of breakfast items.
I am an old time member of Best Western and have stayed in their various properties on short stays. This time I stayed at this Fremont property for 21 days with my family. Boxed in a hotel room with kids can be challenging but the staff here were very cooperative and helpful. Thanks guys for making us feel at home.
Very pleasant & helpful staff. Cost of the lodging includes a hot breakfast each day, a fellowship time on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 that with complimentary beer, wine and appetizers that can serve as dinner. The fitness room has free weights, a universal and two cardio machines. Elsa Mayfield oversees the "Happy Hour" offering and is a gracious and attentive hostess. I greatly appreciate her attention to detail. The rooms decor is a bit dated but the king bed was very comfortable, work space, sitting area. The price vs value warrants a 5 star rating.
Appreciated the staff which was very helpful with all additional needs. Large pool area and nice hot tub. It was wonderful having a patio right in front of the pool area. Close to many food options and other businesses. Right next to highway yet room was very quiet.
Very comfortable and clean hotel. Full hot breakfast, great outdoor pool/ jacuzzi and little workout room. Beds were very comfy and our room had a balcony where I was able to have coffee and relax before the rest of my familt woke up. Convenient to lots of shops and restaurants.
Nice hotel and in a good location for visiting family in Fremont. Nothing fancy but good enough. Beds were not to my liking but I am extremely picky on mattresses. My husband slept fine. Right off 880 but you did not hear interstate traffic. Breakfast was a full menu.
Excellent experience, professional staff, clean room, the facility was also clean inside as well as outside. The grounds were well maintained and restaurants were within walking distance. I will definitely use this facility again.
Property is very well maintained. Friendly and professional staff. Breakfast offerings and presentation were impressive. A great value. Nearest cross street is Farewell. Area appeared to be safe....shops nearby. Near freeway but was quiet.
For the price and location with amenities this is the place to stay. Clean rooms, great location, quiet, great happy hour, friendly staff, Internet friendly. There are a lot of good restaurants within walking distance and some shopping is also close by. There is a major grocery store and Starbuck within walking distance. So why not stay there.
The staff at this location went above and beyond great customer service. The energy was great from the moment I arrived. Marizeh was so helpful and friendly. Also Elsa Mayfield was the best! Great happy hour service. The cooking staff was excellent food was fresh and the service was consistent. There was another gentleman at the front desk who just wore many hats! Unfortunately I didn't get his name but my stay overall was Exceptional! Thank you so much! I will definitely let my family and friends know that Best Western Plus is the place to stay
This was a very pleasant stay, I would strongly recommend not staying on the first floor, as there was a lot of activity and traffic. The staff was very nice and helpful trying to assure your stay was a good experience .
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. The price is reasonable for the area, The staff are friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is excellent with all of the food fresh and a large variety of things to choose from. The rooms are clean and modern.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Garden Court Inn for a soccer tournament and couldn't have been happier. The room was very clean and the service from all the staff was top notch. Elsa from Housekeeping is the only name I remember but she was super friendly and helpful, providing me with a layout of the surrounding area. I will be back for sure if I'm ever in the area again. Thank you for making my stay great.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 5.30 - 7.00, Elsa Mayfield and her service crew host a wonderful drinks and appetisers (almost dinner) evening event. We have experienced this several times both inside the large reception area and outside in the garden. Both food and drink are served generously and graciously.
I was pleased with atmosphere amd clean rooms great breakfast and food on Tues n wen night. Elsa was very friendly and very helpful . As well as most of the staff I would recommend it for a safe stay Thanks
For the past 3 years I been traveling to the bay area, working pourpose First time I booked this hotel, I was impressed with the staff, beacause of their caring on the people, and since then, I've been receiving, the - same service. Not to mention, the rooms, pool, green areas....and THE BREAKFAST, it is amazing, for the rates they have. I need to mention, a few names of the staff, that make my stay amazing On the breakfast, Melanie, Francisca,Marlene, Yuri and Perla, they are always ready for what you need On the housekeepeing, Ana, Adriana and Leticia, they work the extra mile. And front desk,Erika, Kritty and Cielo, they make the checks in and out a chid thing...amazing I almost forget..maintenance and janitor, Pedro, Luis and Melesio Last time ask for a grill, and had a BBQ..they got me a clean grill, with propane. That's why a named this review BEST HOTEL AND STAFF EVER
I have stayed at this BW for many years and the experience has always been delightful. It is a great place. Would recommend it to everyone who needs to stay in Fremont,CA. It is ideally located close to everything. It has been my home away from home for,as I said, many years. My husband and I lived in Fremont for 20 years and raised our children there. When we moved this BW was our favorite place to stay when we returned to our old hometown. Love it!!!
The evening manager, Tejanique Riddle, turned what could have been a disastrous week-end into a pleasant one. Even though we had made reservations and were assured that a wheelchair accessible room would be available, as luck would have it, one was not. We were told that rooms were still being renovated and ours was not ready yet.--- behind schedule. We were initially given a " regular" room, but this was not habitable for a person in a wheelchair Tejanique was very apologetic. She called around to other hotels and found one nearby that could accommodate a wheelchair. She was very professional and did her best to accommodate our needs. Unfortunately, situations such as this are not uncommon for those who require ADA rooms. Some just say "sorry, take it or leave it". I commend Ms Riddle for going above and beyond for us. Thank you so much.
Was looking for a clean affordable place to stay for a business client visiting the SF Bay Area. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and perfect for what we were looking for. It was only about 20 minutes from Downtown San Jose right off the freeway and very affordable. Getting rooms during the week can be a challenge because of the tech industry here, but ended up speaking to Roman who was able to accommodate us. Will send future business clients here.
I was a little worried when I pulled in. It looked a little dated on the outside. But the room was very up to date, comfortable, and the staff actually made you feel appreciated. Excellent internet, good location and a happy hour you will sure enjoy. Elsa made sure everyone had what they wanted to eat and drink. Rooms are very modern, and exceptionally clean. I will be back for sure. You will have a hard time finding anything to complain about. Wonderful staff.
The rooms are fantastic Maids are unbelievable. They are so attentive. The people working here are outstanding! Elsa Williams is an excellent host. She's FANTASTIC Promote her now.. Service is great. The hotel is centrally located, which is perfect. We've had breakfast almost every morning. You wouldn't believe the attention you receive. The staff will go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Again, I want to thank Elsa for a memorable and extremely satisfying stay.
Brought my mom here for her 88th birthday celebration. She was amazed at the room and we both enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff was very helpful in getting me the room I requested. Everything is clean and breakfast is wonderful. Thank you!
Slightly above average Best Western. Like many hotels...doors ALWAYS slam which can be annoying depending on your neighbors and courteous they are. Price value ratio was acceptable and I would stay at this Best Western again if the opportunity arises.
As I walked in I was greeted by Dominick which greeted me as if I was family and also made it easy to get to my room. Then Elsa made me never want to leave with her great hostess treatment. The room was clean and cool, which is great for How warm it is out here.
We stayed here during a road trip round California. Elsa made us very welcome and what a fab little hotel this is. The pool is big, clean and not too busy. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice. And the BBQ on the night we arrived was exactly what we needed! Thanks Elsa and the team you guys are fab!
I had a pleasant stay at Best Western Plus Garden Court from 6th June till 10th June. The staff was courteous and efficient. However my credit card has been charged some suspicious charges of USD 242.42 charged to my credit card on 8th of June, by the hotel and in spite of my writing to them on the email, no response has been received. So please be careful. I hope someone will respond to me here.
I stayed here 2 nights with my parents. The grounds and pool were kept well. The rooms were very nice and I especially loved that each room had a balcony so you could sit outside and enjoy some fresh air. The staff were courteous and helpful. Nice breakfast and adequate place to eat. Could even eat outside on the patio. Rooms furnished very nice and good sleeping beds.
With this price, I am satisfied with the experience I had at the Best Western Plus Garden Cout Inn. One tip is to try to get a room at least on the 2nd floor. The first floor has a lot of people walking around which is kind of noisy.
Elsa is a big complement here at Best Western. She is friendly and greets you with a smile which makes you feel like home. Great hotel the people are very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend it. Also has really good food and a nice pool and hot tub
Pool, Hot tub, Free Breakfast equals perfect Family Friendly hotel! Great value, Great staff, safe environment. Conveniently located to restaurants and all amenities within very short walking distance. Pull up, park, relax and enjoy.
I stayed here for the pool size and i was not disappointed. The pool is a great size, the outside decor is beautiful, oh and the lobby is amazing. The staff is great and very helpful. They had a bunch of restaurants close by even some right across the street. The only thing i was not fond of was the size of the room but it was not a major issue for me. Any one can have a great time at this hotel
All beds were horrible . Because they lost their stability and shape . Apart from this the breakfast was satisfying. All stuff were so friendly and helpfull . There was a garden and swimming pool . I dont recommend this hotel .
Very nice hotel with an excellent courteous staff. The hotel is located near an off and on ramp to 880 with many eateries within walking distance. The rooms are well equipped with fridge, microwave and just about everything else someone on the road would need. The Breakfast has a variety of foods and well stocked during the morning hours. A nice place to stay
I have stayed at this hotel more then my home. Everyone is always inviting and treat me as like family. I left for 6 months on another assignment but came back for a couple week project and was welcomed with the same great service I remember. I called and talked to Elsa about my stay she even got me the same room I stayed in to make sure my stay was amazing. I love this hotel and staff.
I really like this place its so nice, garden is really nice its really quiet and there is a balcony which I love. the reception was amazing they treat me so well here Elsa treats me well and makes sure I am set. The front desk is also nice shana was very helpful since I checked in and so was Dominick. thank you so much best western. this is great. I will be coming back.
The grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are extremely clean and remodeled, the bed was very comfortable and the hot breakfast was fantastic. We would have had a great stay if only we were able to sleep. We arrived around 9pm and our hallway was filled with pot smoke which permeated into our room. I'm very sensitive to smoke which was a deciding factor in choosing a "Non-smoking facility". Next door music was blasting at 1:30 am. Security promptly came and had to knock on the next door for 15 minutes before the occupants responded and the music was turned down. As soon as security left, the party continued and went on until 5am. One of the managers responded to my survey and stated that parties aren't allowed. I had read reviews dating back several years and apparently the pot smoking and partying is a constant problem. What exactly do they mean by "Non-smoking facility" if this is a continuous problem? I must add that they were very gracious about giving us another room the next night and that was a very peaceful and pleasant night. If both nights were this good I would have given a 5.
The whole staff was great and the room was very clean. I will definitely be staying here again. The breakfast in the morning was always refreshed by the staff. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
When coming to visit the Bay Area, my first place to stay is the Best Western Garden Court Inn in Fremont, Ca. I am very comfortable staying here, because of the service from the staff. That means from the moment I check-in, you're are met with friendly people. The rooms are specious, clean and comfortable. My favorite time is breakfast, they serve a great breakfast selection, love their Belgium waffle, the service is great. You're greeted with friendly and helpful servers. One of them is Melanie, she's always keeps the breakfast area very clean. The servers are exceptional nice and polite. My stay is always very enjoyable.
We stayed here for one night prior to our family reunion in San Jose, last July. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room, as well as the breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel in many years. Will stay here again if visiting the bay area.
Left Vancouver Island Canada, stayed at Best Western hotels all the way here, All were great, but this one stood out because the staff were so extra friendly, made us feel right at home, the "Happy Hour" with food, beer and wine, complimentary, was a wonderful addition to this stay. We met some really great people and Elsa the host and director of services, was so sweet and super awesome. We will be back in a couple of weeks for business and will definately be staying here. Thank you so much Elsa and the girls at the front desk for the outstanding service.
The grounds are relaxing. Pool and spa and fitness room very functional. Best part is staff. Friendly and helpful and have made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Thank You Elsa for a fantastic social hour.
Great service Elsa ty shana best place to stay and have a good time and relax after a long day at work good and friendly environment makes you feel at home or as close to home as you can nice clean rooms that you won't want to leave any time soon
At check in Tejanique, Dom, and shana was really helpful the check in was a really quick process they did great with explaining everything the hotel had to offer. The room is really clean, and comfortable. Happy hour on Tuesday and Wednesdays is the best part of the stay Elsa Williams is a great host she served beer and wine and also had food prepared. I will definitely consider the best western again for my future stay.
This is a great place too stay, clean and very helpful. The Tues. rewards brunch is awesome,Elsa is a great host.I rate this place 100/100.The pool and jacuzzi were super nice as the clean towels were plentiful and rooms always cleaned.if you want great experience stay here...plenty of restaurants nearby also.
From the time I walked in to the hotel, I got a really good reception. Front desk were very helpful, and the hotels directors of services name Elsa is very helpful lady and always helping the guests. The happy hour that she runs on Tuesday and Wednesday are very relaxing and helps to unwind.
The hotel staff was excellent; friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned with ensuring a high quality experience. The room was large, comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is clean and nicely maintained. The in-room amenities were very nice. The breakfast was the typical fare but nicely presented.
If you are looking for a hotel in this area, this Best Western Plus in Fremont was definitely one of the best I have experienced yet. The rooms were great & very clean. Shana & Elsa were great, very friendly and very helpful. At the front desk Shana helped direct me to the best location near by where there was a bunch of shopping and even a movie theater. Elsa took the time to make sure that my stay there was very comfortable and the breakfast was so very delicious, definietly better then hotel food i've taste prior.
Great customer service all smiles and helping! Rooms are great everything is walking distance good place to stay! I would recommend everybody to book with them if your around the area The pool is also nice VERY VERY CLEAN
Location ok, restaurant and supermarket nearby. Free wifi, connection ok. Free breakfast, simple and taste ok. Free parking, but some parking space not in good condition. Nice staff. Room big enough for two and overall clean. Toilet size ok and clean, towel without smell.
Great stay at BWP. These hotels have great amenities for all the family to enjoy. The pool area was such a clean beautiful area to relax and take in some sun. The breakfast the next morning was amazing! We will definitely be back!
Just about anything you may have wanted was within walking distance. Staff friendly and courteous. did what they could to help guest stay was enjoyable as possible. A very good selection for breakfast, and hors d'oeuvres and spirits.
The staff were very friendly and always available. I really enjoyed the continental breakfast. Whenever in Fremont, you should definitely stay at the Best Western Garden Court Inn. Also, conveniently close to a lot of amenities and restaurants.
this hotel has friendly staff, dinner served tues/wed, breakfast every morning. and if you leave before breakfast they have goody bags for you to take on the road. security patrols makes you feel safe. nice pool and hot tub. Elsa was very friendly and helpful. She always went out of her way to make us feel comfortable.
we live down the street, we came to swim and get away from chores, we had the best time, Elsa, director of services was so accommodating and sweet... She took care of us like we were family... We had such a great time we will come again throughout the summer! Cheers BW, to a Hotel Well Run :)
I love staying at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and fun. It's like going to Cheers, everyone remembers my name. i feel like i'm staying with family. Dominic and Tejanique are very helpful for reservations and check in. Shauna will run plastic ware up to your room. Elsa makes happy hour "happy"! Diane speeds through check out. The hotel lobby is up to date and comfortable. The rooms are clean, come with a microwave and refrigerator. situated right off the 880 it is uniquely positioned for easy travel. don't miss this best stay for your money.
Great service! Super friendly staff, polite, accommodating! Love the way they make my bed! Clean and lots of restaurants around it! Elsa the manager on staff is amazing and makes you feel at home. All around great experience.
Great experience staying at the best Western in Fremont CA Elsa Mayfield really took care of me and customer service was great I would recommend anyone coming through that area to stay there! It was worth it
The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the standard hotel fare. The TV in the breakfast room was loud and the local and international news was not always family-friendly. When I asked if we could sit in a different area, the staff very kindly tried to find a different TV station that was more suitable for all ages. The pool area looked lovely, but unfortunately was not heated until later in the year, which was unfortunate as the pool was part of reason for choosing this hotel. The hotel literature said the jacuzzi was heated, but it too was too cold to use. They looked like great amenities to use later in the Spring and Summer! It was a good hotel for our overnight stay.
Maribel really nice and a really hard worker she does a really great job cleaning rooms, she leaves them really clean. Also Shana she is really sweet and offers for food and a hard worker. the place is really pretty and quiet
Stayed here for 4 nights and the breakfast was top notch with very friendly staff. Very handily located if you have a car but we used Uber to get to the BART station and none of the drivers could find the hotel which is tucked behind a Chevron garage. Beds were okay but our room was in one of the three separate blocks near an exit and the doors start slamming as people make there way to breakfast at 6 to the front of the hotel. We had one good day of weather but the pool had not been cleaned and there were ducks on it! May be a bit too early in the year for swimming I guess.
I was in town visiting a friend looking a place to stay and best western was the only place that was not only friendly but offered great rates for a great comfy room and continental breakfast. Adrionna specifically was very accommodating and was so friendly which to me was quite impressive given that it was so early in the morning (1am..2am). Best western is lucky to have her as an employee and I hope she will be rewarded for this review because she deserves it. After a long day I'm glad I chose here to stay. I will stay here again in the future when I come to visit again. Highly recommended.
Very reasonable price for the area, extremely clean, quiet, fantastic free breakfast and complimentary drinks & snacks in the evening. Elsa runs a very good breakfast operation with a full menu of warm food as well as ready-to-go options, and very fun and friendly evening reception for her guests. Shana and Dominic are wonderful at the front desk. I have stayed in the Fremont area many times over the past few years and I feel SO sorry that I didn't discover this hotel sooner.
Love this hotel. My boyfriend and I always stay here every chance we get. Friendly environment, rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is always great here. Great location a lot of restaurants nearby. Off the freeway!
We have to go down every 6 mos to get a special service done to our car. This is definitely where we will be staying. Breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly. The beds were so comfortable. Not one complaint!
The only thing I would consider is a cleaner parking lot. You may want to consider getting rid of some of the trees so the front of the hotel is more visible from the road. The entrance to the hotel was obscured by the trees.
We have stayed at this Best Western many times when we want to head to Oakland, San Francisco and Berkeley. It has easy access to BART and from there we can travel the entire Bay Area. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and has a GREAT breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.
Elsa and the entire staff were wonderful! The breakfast was always delicious and fully stocked. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. I would recommend all to stay at this property and I will definitely be back!
This hotel really set the bar high on standards for cleanliness, comfort, amenities and a great breakfast dining area. Nice landscaping around this hotel set amongst many stores and restaurants in the area. You feel like you are on a private oasis though with a nice big pool and walkways. The complimentary breakfast was better than anywhere I've traveled. Hot and cold items with no expense spared on quality. I give a big high five for excellence here! The bar has been set high!
Everything is great except the other tenants who smoke pot inside and fill the halls. Overall, the place is great, parking is easy and its great access to quite a few restaurants, malls and the highway. I could hear noise from the floor above of someone pacing and i could hear them talking which is not good. Also, they have no laundry on-site.
I was surprised how nice this hotel was. I stayed at the Holiday Inn express in Dublin last year for the Cleansing Stream event. This year it was in Fremont so at my moms recommendation I decided to try Best Western. I dont regret the switch. Much cleaner, nice decor, the room smelled nice and fresh and clean. The breakfast was nice with lots of choices. We even used the hot tub. Very relaxing and clean. The only down side was the first night. It was a bit noisy on our floor. I guess some guests were partying late. I think someone even knocked on our door by mistake. The next morning the elevator floor was really sticky. A pet peave of mine is sticky floors which forced me to use the stairs. Nevertheless, We enjoyed our stay and will definitely try Best Western again. I just hope the others are as nice as the Fremont one.
My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There was a coffee machine as well as a microwave in our room which was extremely convenient . Room was exceptionally clean, and check in was not a drag as it is at many other hotels. My review is mostly for Our front desk agent Adriana, she greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant as well as made the check in experience quick and easy. We were all checked in and ready to go in less than 5 minutes. She was very knowledgeable of the attractions around the area which made it easy for us to go out and catch a movie and grab dinner. All of the staff was very helpful and genuinely nice .We will definitely be coming back when we are in back town.
This would be our second stay here, very pleased, breakfast very good , the staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, definitely would stay here again. I will highly recommend this Hotel.
Great location by interstate. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms very clean & recently remodeled. Good breakfast options with attentive friendly staff. Elsa & Adriana went out of their way to make our stay top notch!
We stayed at this hotel the last night of a week long family road trip vacation. We were extremely pleased with the room and property, but even more impressed with the employees. They were all especially kind and helpful and all seemed genuinely happy to be working at the hotel.
Elsa W. Always serves with a smile. Front desk are always polite and helpful. I always stay here when I come to Fremont. Close enough to the interstate. Beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are very clean.
Our stay could not have been better. Comfortable and spacious room in a great location. The breakfast was plentiful with many options. Francisca at the breakfast area was especially helpful and had great attention to detail. I would highly recommend a stay here!
I was very impressed by the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. It's run very well from the breakfast staff to the front desk - Adriana and Elsa - among others, really went above and beyond in accommodating me and my 16 week old daughter. It's a stressful time for us and they made our stay stress-free. Thanks everyone!
The staff was fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well appointed. Best of all was Elsa Williams, Refresh Executive. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay enjoyable.
The hotel is old, but the room we stayed in was very nice and updated. There was an old, musty smell on the 2nd floor, but not unbearable. The Lobby area is very nice and great for meeting with people; business or family and friends. The breakfast was fresh and had the normal variety. The location is perfect with quick access to hwy 880, and while it was close the hotel was still very quiet. Several restaurants are close by, many within walking distance. would definitely stay here again.
The hotel has good design in the room, and receptionists are very kind and helpful. pros: 1. quiet 2. pool and gym 3. close to restaurants and grocery stores 4. average breakfast cons: bad bath room: 1. sink was leaking 2. bath tub choked
We stayed for two nights at this hotel. It has been recently renovated and looks lovely. We had a double-queen with a pool view on the first floor away from traffic noise. The beds were comfortable and the room clean except for the carpet. Our socks were proof of the dirt as well as the color of the water in the shower as we stood. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty but standard hotel fare. Coffee is brewed from concentrate -- not grounds. Very good waffles. Very friendly staff. Would probably return. We felt the cost was a little high but considering the area it is probably typical. $179 Monday, $195 Tuesday.
I usually stay at the Hilton when I come to Fremont. This is the first time staying at this Best Western. It was by far so much better than the Hilton and I will always stay here now. The rooms were very nice and clean. There was a microwave and a refrigerator with a freezer. The beds were super comfortable. The hot breakfast was delicious and the best part of all, the staff. Every single person I encountered was super friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to coming back!
My family had a great time. The breakfast was awesome, was beyond what we expected from a "free breakfast" hotel. They have several food selection and the eating area is clean. We even had an employee (Elsa) who took time to check with us and other guests on how was the food, our room, stay.
The hotel is very nice-from the design of the room to the amenities offered. The reception is a great extra touch especially for business travelers. Elsa, the employee during the reception is very friendly and made us feel at home. I will recommend this hotel not just for business travelers but also for families.
A nice quiet spot in the city of Fremont, Ca. Look for the hummingbirds that enjoy the fountain outside the breakfast area. Ask for a room adjacent to the pool to have a place to hang wet swim wear, otherwise you will have to hang it in the bathroom.
This facility has been completely renovated. It is lovely, The pool is pristine, the breakfast awesome and the room wonderful. The personnel that I dealt with were all helpful, friendly and very accommodating!
Always a great place to stay. Fantastic service from all departments. Friendly and clean. Love the new improvements being made. A plus is that it is a pet-friendly hotel. Close to freeways and restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Fremont Best Western Hotel.
We stayed here for two nights with two little kids and it was great. Room was nice and easily big enough to fit pack n play (they provided a new one - but don't forget to bring your own sheet) and my 3yo's sleeping tent. Breakfast was super. We were traveling with jet lagged kids and needed a place nice enough for local friends to come to us. We had great time in pool and used poolside furniture for an al fresco lunch. The staff was awesome. They not only let us eat our takeout dinner in breakfast area but gave us cutlery and blowup beach balls. They were all so patient and sweet with my talkative 3yr old.
Im out here for work in fremont and this hotel is the best!! Nice sevice nice rooms and best happy hour ever...Elsa thank u and shout out to Tay and the rest of the staff good job and i will refer this place or stay here from now on
Thank you for the wonderful service I have experienced here today. Especially Adrianna she went out of her way to get me breakfast this morning even though I was late. I was very grateful to get the pleasure to meet tejanique as well she was amazing at giving me directions to anywhere I needed to go. All the workers at this hotel were really nice... I was also thankful for the bible that was in my room. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK Chris Oak harbor
We really were impressed with this hotel! Great service, and a delicious breakfast. This is very near to those traveling to silicon valley, also. Ken was especially helpful in setting up all the details for us, once we arrived. The entire staff is very helpful.
Nice service with friendly staffs. Reasonable price. Free delicious breakfast from 6:00AM-9:00AM, coffee, wifi. Many shops, restaurants nearby. However, I wish they provide room slippers. I will be here again when visiting Fremont. :D
I travel for business and this place was in a great location, I felt safe and the staff and accommodations were great! I like that they have a full breakfast in the morning. They offer a complimentary water upon check in and they have wonderful coffee in the rooms!
We have used this Best Western for our hospital visits in Fremont. Good service, answered special requests (extra towels etc.) and a handicap room after surgery. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Even asked at checkout how my wife was following surgery.
Very impressed for the price! We stay here about once a year and noticed they had just completed a big renovation. New carpeting, paint, furniture and linens. Everything is done tastefully and they did NOT go cheap. No, it's not the Ritz but both my wife and I were very impressed. Our room was fresh, clean and the staff was very friendly. From front desk check in, maids, and even the breakfast folks everyone seemed like they actually like their jobs and were very accommodating. I'm disappointed with some of the other reviews and really wonder, did they stay at the same hotel??? We normally stay at higher level hotels, but both of us commented on how nice this place is and a good value. We will be back. I home the staff reads this and accepts our "Thank you" for a job well done!
this hotel is great all employee great i will come here again kiara was great she help me a lot Elsa the bartender shes is amazing weny was great rooms was so clean when i check inn very empress with everything breakfast was great
this hotel is best i love the bartender Elsa shes the best wow ; rooms are so clean i well come back here again all everyone so friendly Elsa the best employee you guys have breakfast is the best gym so clean in the pool
The company I work for sends about 25 of us all over the state for demolition work. This week the job took my crew to Fremont, Ca where we were welcomed by the staff and comfy beds at the Best Western plus garden court. Our rooms were newly renovated with left us with brand new amenities. Besides the pool and jacuzzi the best part of my stay was the amazing people like Elsa who made sure we always had everything we needed from the hot breakfast (tasted like Denny's )to ideas for things to do in our free time.If you going out of town especially Fremont try Best Western.
I have stayed at almost all the hotels in the Fremont area and I have to say this is one of the nicest ones around. I would rate higher then even the Hampton or the Hyatt. They have a happy hour and Elsa was amazing!!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful and hotel was freshly remodeled. Have booked all my stays here since the first stay.
The Best Western in Fremont, CA continues to provide good quality and services. It is close to Washington Hospital and we will continue to use that hotel for our future visits to Fremont. The staff is always very courteous and attentive.
I stayed in one of their newly renovated rooms and it was everything I needed it to be. I was in town for about five days to be a bridesmaid in a wedding and this hotel definitely delivered. Free breakfast in the morning was pretty standard with a waffle maker, some protein, a granola bar, etc. Something I did notice; when their usual dining area was filled at a busy part of breakfast the staff was very attentive and opened up one of their conference rooms for more seating. The gym was pretty standard too- a bicycle machine, a treadmill, and a weight machine. I would have preferred free weights but that's neither here or there. There are several Starbucks, Grocery stores, and convenience stores around the area so I was never worried about not being able to run out and grab something fairly quickly. At the end of the day the bed was soft and the holes were quite. The property was pretty to look at although it was too cool at that point to jump into their pool. If I were visiting I would definitely consider staying there again.
The hotel was great. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the check in process was extremely fast. The breakfast was good, and it had a good variety of items. The rooms were very clean, and the internet worked well.
I was surprised by how this Best Western compares to other high end hotels (Marriott, Hyatt, etc). Newly remodeled with microwave, fridge, desk, sitting area, granite counter top outside bathroom, full-size blow dryer, and comfy bed w/lots of different types of pillows. I was pleased. Walls and ceiling were only a tad thin, but not bad. I'm a light sleeper but wasn't awakened by any neighbors or traffic (had a street view room). Would stay here again.
Very good service and big room. The people in the reseption is very friendly. In this hotel 2 day of week is one good happy hour and the service is good. In the hotel is the pool and one fitness room. The position is good in littel time arrived at sanfrancisco, santa curz monterey. Thanks Elsa
The staff at this hotel work together to make sure guests enjoy their stay. When I arrived Tejanique was efficient with check-in, gave me snacks and water to enjoy in my room, and let me know there is a complimentary breakfast each morning. The hotel also has a complimentary happy hour Tuesdays and Wednesday hosted by Elsa. The grounds a very well maintained with attractive landscaping throughout. This hotel does have a section of dog-friendly rooms. which are also well maintained. This was overall a great stay.
very good service nice area nice rooms been here a year and love it tajanique marie p and elsa are always helpful my rooms very clean Debbie was great breakfast very good reception great gym great pool great i love the patio room this hotel the best hotel i ever been all the staff was great
Check In and all individuals involved were the GREATEST. Tejanique and Elsa at HAPPY HOUR were the GREATEST and most corresponding!!! my room was really clean dora from housekeeping was great breakfast was great maria p night houseman shes great elsa always been the best
Stayed for 1 night in June. A very comfortable stay with nice furnishings and courteous staff. The breakfast was great with a good spread. Love the self made waffles which is very crispy. The nearby mall is pretty big to explore.
We try to stay exclusively with Best Western when we travel. Experiences with their hotels have usually been wonderful. This one is no exception. We were lucky enough to have a bottom floor room that opened up to the pool. Our room was spacious for five people that had multiple days worth of baggage. The room was clean and newly renovated. Bathroom was taken care of nicely as well. Our only concern was that there was really no fan to get rid of moisture after a shower and the room tended to get a little humid, even with the room fan on and sliding door open. Still, that was very minor. As usual, breakfast was great. Lots of space to move around and a good amount of seating. They had the usual food items from waffles to eggs, cereal, etc. The attendant kept the area stocked and really clean. Everyone, from the front desk to the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful if we had a question. The other great thing about this place is its proximity to other places. The BART is just down the road. I only wish they had a shuttle service to get there. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping areas near by, and you can even get to the coast in about an hour ( Santa Cruz). I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again.
I will recommend this Best Western property, and I'm sure that will stay there again in the future. Our visit was exremely short, but comfortable. It was close to our meeting/appointment locations. Plus, we had the pleasure of nice restaurants & markets nearby.
First visit here. Nice room, excercise facility, good breakfast options and electric vehicle charge station! Staff very helpful and overall very pleasant experience. A good value given the high prices of most hotels in the Fremont and San Jose areas. I will stay here again.
We stayed here for a mix of business and family travel (toddler and bub in tow). We loved how welcoming this place was - cookies in reception, free happy hour with yummy drinks and food on selected nights and friendly staff. The breakfast had a wide range and room was spacious and clean. Our only complaint was that we could smell cannabis around parts of the hotel but I think that's a California thing that we just aren't used to being illegal in NZ. For visiting families with toddlers - there is a trampoline park just across the road that is awesome to burn some energy. They have allocated toddler hours some mornings and it was a great way to spend the morning after being on a long haul flight. Location wise you are around a lot of chain restaurants in walking distance - some of which were surprisingly good. Just up the road on Friday nights is the Fremont truck food market which was a nice alternative to the chains. Thanks for a lovely stay in Fremont :)
Customer service was great from when I checked in tejanique riddle was at the front desk any problems I had she resolved them right away. Claudia leal also was very good with cleaning the room and I was pleased with the housekeeper staff OVERALL Francica on breakfast was great very friendly , Maria Pina was great ; Elsa doing a great job with her staff I was very please I well always come to stay here reception was great elsa did a good job in tejanique great job
Stayed here while working in Fremont for two nights. The room was really good clean and tidy looking out over the pool. The staff are very friendly and very helpful and made you feel welcome. Good choice's for breakfast.
We were traveling to visit with my new great-granddaughter. My great-grandson, age 20 was staying with me. We did not want to be bothered by staff as my great-grandson is very concerned about strangers looking through his belongings. We put the "We are resting" sign on the door and to our knowledge no staff entered the room. I eat breakfast, my great-grandson usually does not. Breakfast was excellent. I took a doughnut and some fruit back to the room for my great-grandson, which he actually ate and said the doughnuts were excellent - The staff were friendly and helpful. They were so to all the different kinds of people staying there. This is so important in today's world. I am white, 83 and short..
Came here for business, got a really good room with the best view of the pool. Everyone is really friendly, love the breakfast. The only thing I can complained about is I wish they had Happy hour everyday, not just two days a week. If you need anything just ask Ricky or Tejanique and they will help you. The manager Elsa is great as well. Really enjoyed my stay.
Our construction crew has been staying here during the week for a year now and every Tuesday and Wednesday evening we have had delicious appetizers and enjoyed relaxing in the reception area to a glass or two of beer or wine. The staff treats us like family and Tejanique makes sure we are well taken care of! So Thankyou to her for her friendly smile and making us feel like home and Elsa for her conversation and keeping us all well fed and our glass always full!!
My husband and I needed a place in the Fremont area to finish some work and have our meetings. This is a great place to do just that. It was very clean and quiet. There were so many trees and the garden had a lot of hummingbirds. They had complimentary continental breakfast and free wifi. The staff was amazing, service was very accommodating. Weny from front desk was very helpful and their hotel manager, Elsa was beyond awesome. She even let us know about their Rewards Members' Evening Reception, where hotel guests can mingle and have drinks and good food. It was an excellent experience all in all, will definitely come back!
I had the opportunity to stay at Best Western Plus (5400 Mowry Ave, Fremont) and it was a pleasurable experience. The front desk staff were very friendly, professional, informative, and clearly explained their process for admittance into the hotel. The hotel was clean in the parking lot, lobby, hallway and especially my remodeled room. I was extremely impressed with the hotels detour and amenities such as the pool and gym areas. There was a particular staff member that stood out from the pack. Her name was Eleanor Hanes. She was a true professional. My guest and I had the pleasure of being toured throughout the hotel on the way to the room. She was bright, articulate, and represented the hotel well. She is an asset to the organization and I hope Best Western Plus is treating and taking good care of her and their employees.
Although situated near the highway, this is a little Eden tucked amongst the urban city. Room had many nice touches: nicely colored walls, individual art pieces, quality soaps and toiletries. Every single employee I ran into asked me if there was anything they could do for me ( and meant it), then asked did I like the remodeled space. Pride of workplace was very evident. The room was comfortable and spacious. Great pillows and linens. Although I didn't use the pool it looked inviting and fun, The hotel is situated close to everything you could possibly need. The one drawback is limited parking, but I always seemed to find something close enough. A plus was the electric car plug ins available. This hotel is just the ticket, not overly fancy, but very nice and attention to detail.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The goody bag for rewards members was certainly a welcoming surprise. The mini dinner buffet for rewards members, and the included continental breakfast were all good add-ons. The hotel staff was courteous and friendly. Even the housekeeping staff I saw in the hallway would smile and say hi. I got one of the newly renovated rooms. It was nice and comfortable. I enjoyed sitting at the patio and relax under the sun. The only complaint I have would be the door slamming sounds. Every time a guest room's door was opened and closed, the slamming sound could be heard very clearly, and was very disturbing at night. I didn't sleep well because of that. The hotel would be a perfect place to stay if this problem could be fixed in the future. At least a sign alerting the guests to close the door gently would help.
This hotel has recently have a real facelift and everything is better than when we last visited. Very friendly and professional front desk staff and a friendly word from every staff member that I saw. Rooms have had a great remodel and everything worked fine apart from a very noisy fridge. When I reported this to front desk on checkout they actually seemed interested, another big change from a couple of years ago. Great coffee machine in room. The parking lot is still very uneven. Will stay here again even though price seems to have increased significantly.
This beautiful hotel met our every needs from the moment we made reservations to the time we checked-out. The staff went out of their way to make sure that all of our needs were met during our stay. The rooms were very clean and breakfast buffet was delicious. We would say that this was one of the best hotels that we have ever been too! There is one suggestion that I would like to make. You may want to activated close caption on the dining room TV for the deaf and hearing impaired. Thanks again for excellent service.
Great place, great service. Acvery nice location with friendly staff, nice rooms, and a nice breakfast. The only deficiency was the slow wifi. It did not affect me much, but would have on a longer stay.
Nice Place Friendly staff "Shana" at the front desk. Rooms are outstanding and clean! The Housekeeping Manager Elsa is very nice and helpful! The rooms are newly remodelled! The Manager Jackie is nice too! She gave us tips to where to go and spend quality time with the family. The facilities are really nice. The full breakfast is great! We happen to go to one of the reception night and it was awesome. Elsa is by herself but managed to take care of every guest very attentively. Everything is awesome! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
we had excellent services at the reception with the help of the house keeping manager Elsa and Tejanique and the manager Jackie. Both showed a warm welcoming attitude towards us. The rooms were fresh and elegant once we came in you could smell a scent of a newly clean room. Breakfast was great! Love the crispiness of the bacon it tastes very well made. Great hotel overall.
This place is awesome! The rooms are very clean! The Housekeeping Manager Elsa is the best employee here. She's very nice and friendly. She took care of our needs. She's very attentive and helpful. The manager's Jackie and David are very professional and friendly too. It's really pleasant to stay here. It's like home away from home. I recommend this hotel to everyone!
Great hotel with good size clean bedrooms. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Even got to use the pool and Jacuzzi a welcome feature after a tough day. I had to unplug the fridge in the room as it was a bit noisy for me, but I'm sensitive to that sort of noise.
The staff were the very BEST. Tejanique greeted us and treated us like we were special. I'll never forget her. All the staff including Jackie, Elsa and Melanie were the very best. I was fortunate to get one of the new rooms and I have bragged about it to family members so they will stay there if they visit San Francisco. We were on spring break in March 2016 and stayed here for a week. There are lots of restaurants and stores near by. If I ever visit San Francisco again I'll be staying here.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The staff really seemed to like what they were doing. The breakfasts offered had a lot of variety and were well prepared. We stayed four days. Parking was limited so we would usually have to park in a different area each time we returned to the Inn. Melanie was especially helpful.
We stayed at the Freemont Best western for 8 days and it was perfect for our family of 5. Excellent continental breakfast, courteous staff and a nice pool/spa area. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.
The Hotel is Beautiful! Cleaned! and Well-Kept. The Front Desk Clerks, the Night Security Officer and the Maintenance and Housekeeping employees are very helpful, friendly, polite and well-mannered. We rested very well there and the Breakfast (Buffet) was delicious!
My husband and I checked in late on a Friday evening, and the front desk staff was wide awake and eager to help assist us to our room, and to make sure we felt welcomed. In the mornings, the breakfast was well put together and tasted good. As well, as the pool was clean and heated, which was great!
Pros: Convenient location off the freeway. Can walk to restaurants, supermarket, etc. Excellent free breakfast. 24 hour coffee in the lobby and the coffee is very good. Lovely flowers surround the hotel. Numerous convenient charging stations in the room. There are not many hotels in Fremont and this is the best I've encountered. Friendly, helpful staff Cons: Awful coffee machine in room. Confusing to add water and the lip on the tray on which it set had only a partial rim, leading to the water spilling out. Insufficient storage for food or our own coffee supplies, which led to these being stored near the mini-fridge, which interfered with the exhaust causing our soda and beer to freeze. (Fridge had no dial to adjust the temperature.)
The hotel had a nice little buffet available in the lobby when we arrived. I think they have them on Tuesdays and Wednesday from 5:30 for Rewards members. Elsa and Ricky are very friendly and helpful. The newly renovated rooms are very nice!
The hotel is currently renovating the first floor rooms. if all the rooms are like mine then all can be recommended. A decent sized room, proper table to work on, comfy lounger. The breakfast are at first seems small, until you realise that a room next door is also available. The pool is a good sized but does not appear to be heated. In the summer I can see if being used by many families. There is an Applebees within a short walk so no need to drive to eat if you don't wish to. Certainly I'd stay here again.
I really enjoyed the welcome at the front. Tejanique, Ricky, and Elsa were extremely friendly and made the stay so much better. I recommend you stay here also to enjoy the complimentary breakfast and hosted happy hour as well. This was my first time staying at any Hotel in Fremont and would definitely come back. The room was nice and clean too.
Stayed at this hotel for six nights. I got one of the new refurbished rooms. The room was very comfortable with a flat screen, two beds, desk and good WiFi. The service is also very good and the breakfast is OK. Not many variety compared to an European Continental Breakfast but it was OK. The location is good with different restaurants to eat outside, however this is not a residential area, so don't expect a high street. I didn't enjoy the swimming pool but it looked good. There's also a small gym inside. Overall it was a very good stay and I would return.
Beds were comfortable and room was clean . Breakfast included was good with several choices. Plenty of closet space and complimentary wifi and parking. Will definitely come back here, Close to many restaurants and shopping center. Easy access to freeway, My daughter and I stayed here after my surgery,
A really nice property. Get a room with a patio or deck as they all open to the pool area. Great Pet friendly hotel with a nice area to walk your dog. Adjacent to 3 restaurants and shops. A nice well maintained property inside and outside. Would stay here again. Easy on and off freeway but quiet.
Extremely clean , very nice property, the staff was extremely helpful, and the continental breakfast was above-average. Very nice. The beds are extremely comfortable, everything smells so nice and clean
I am giving this hotel an Excellent rating! The staff are very friendly. Breakfast here is awesome, a lot of selections. They just renovated this place and it looks really nice. The room is very neat and you'll feel at home, Their service is just really great. A big shout out to the awesome people that works here To David, the General Manager, to Elsa the one with the big smile =) to Leonor and Francisca for the awesome breakfast. thank you for your assistance and professionalism and making us feel welcome. This place is highly recommended.
We spent the weekend at this location to visit family. The staff was courteous and professional. The breakfast area was clean and organized. The hostess Francisca made sure to greet all guests. There was a second hostess who was just as nice, but I did get her name.
This hotel was excellent in every respect. Attractive well kept grounds, attractive well maintained lobby and room. The Bathroom was spotless, linens clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable and had lots of pillows. The pool wasn't heated this time of year but it is huge. The Spa was nice and hot, jets working. It was very quiet, and adequate parking available.
I booked this hotel last minute but I was not disappointed. The property was a little dated but the room was perfect. There were lots of restaurants and amenities near by. The stay included a full breakfast that was very delicious. Didn't get a chance to visit the pool but from what I was able to see, it looked very nice.Overall, I was very happy with my stay here.
This is an excellent hotel to stay in. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Prices on week days is higher then on week-ends. We stayed here because we had a surgery at Washington hospital. We were given a discount for that which was nice.
Stayed 3 nights while my husband had knee replacement surgery. Very friendly called after check in to see if everything was satisfactory in our room. Morning of surgery we had to leave before the free breakfast started they had bagged breakfast to go for those of us that had to leave early. That was very appreciated. Room was nice .... Very quiet
This Best Western location continues to impress me. We stayed here again about a week ago, and it lived up to our expectations once again! We were greeted by Jackie and Ken at the front desk when we checked in, and the process was painless and quick. This is definitely the only place we will stay when we are in the Bay Area. They had a tour bus full of college students staying there, and breakfast was still pretty awesome. There was plenty of hot food and plenty of staff helping clean up and organize. They opened up another room for seating, so that certainly helped. The room was clean, just as we would come to expect. We really havent had any complaints in the times we've stayed here. Keep up the awesome customer service!
This is a nice hotel for a fair price, it is close to food like Olive Garden and Applebees which are both with-in walking distance. The hotel is being renovated currently I had a room that had been renovated. It was very nice but my only complaint is that the beds are questionable, because it slides very easy and if you sit on the edge or corner the bed tips so it is not very stable. The breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly and it has a nice pool and hot tub.
I really enjoyed my visit and stay at this hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The were quick to offer help and answer my questions with a smile. Even the Reservation Call was interesting and informative and personable.
Stayed here for a couple of days. I like Best Westerns - good rooms, free breakfast, parking and wifi. This was no different and with a great location off the interstate, near lots of restaurants, a gas station just in front. A very serene property. Definitely the place to stay in Fremont.
Always a great place to stay - wonderful breakfast. friendly staff. very flexible. accommodating. close to family and Hwy, quiet. wonderful king bed. will stay here anytime I'm in town. still writing cause they say I have to have 200 characters to submit this review, If I can write a great review in less than 200 it seems like they would still post it. Let's see if this is 200
We spent a week at this hotel. The prices felt a bit high but it is the Silicon Valley. Prices tend to be higher in the week due to the hotel's focus on business travelers. Currently the hotel is remodeling a portion of the hotel. I believe we were in a portion recently completed as the furnishings felt very clean. Beds: Comfortable and crisp clean bedding. Desk with real office chair! Breakfast: Full-made up for one meal - Eggs, waffels, Cereals, juice, bacon, sausage, etc... Pool: looked clean but didn't use it. Internet: wifi-a little slow but sufficient. No wired drops in rooms. Lamps: Power to USB power. Refrigerator & microwave. staff: Friendly & helpful! Would certainly stay here again!
Nice clean newly refurbished rooms to stay right off 880 but quiet. Visiting son in Fremont and it was so easy to get to with so much close by if you want to eat or shop. The pool looked inviting though didn't try it. To us staying in a quiet place while travelling is super important. Also central air so no noisy air conditioning. There was a problem with the elevator needing unexpected repairs and hotel graciously compensated us.
I would like to thank the staff for making our prolonged stay comfortable and pleasant. They are extremely friendly and professional and treat us as friends. The morning breakfast is absolutely delicious and as we arrive early at 5:45 a.m. Our server " Melanie" always has the food ready and waiting for us to eat. We really do appreciate the exceptional device they provide!! Thankyou to all the staff
This hotel has excellent service overall...from the front desk staff, to their housekeepers and to their kitchen staff. We came in at 2:00 a.m. on 3/19/2016 without any reservation (Just walked in). We were very tired and Diane at the front desk gave us a very warm welcome, very friendly and professional. We asked her what time was the check out and she informed us that it's 11:00 am but she knew we came in late and tired and so she accommodated us and gave us until 1:00 p.m. which was really wonderful of her. She also offered us something to drink and snacks, informed us about the breakfast for the following morning and then had the guard show us how to get to our room. The room is wonderful and relaxing. In the morning while walking on the hall way and then waited for the elevator to arrive, we were greeted well and with smiles by their housekeepers. All their kitchen staff are wonderful. Everyone seems happy to be there and to be working. Each one was courteous and friendly. The cook was very friendly. Another staff working in the area, Francesca, I believe that's her name, she was going around the breakfast area with coffee pot in her hand going from table to table, asking guests if they need more coffee and to let her know if they need anything else. The Buffet area is very clean and very organize. All the food was good. They pretty much have everything for breakfast to accommodate every type of guest I assume. They have fruits, muffins, waffles, bagels, toasts, cereal, eggs, sausages & ham, breakfast potatoes, coffee, milk, juice, and water. They have wonderful breakfast. When we leave, the assistant manager, Jackie, was also very friendly as she checked us out. Very professional. This is one great hotel experience that we've had. I just wish each hotel has their caliber. Great and Excellent Staff. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends when they go up north.
Breakfast included every morning with a variety of foods and fruits available, both hot an cold. Ask for Melanie for great breakfast service! They also have coffee available 24/7 and decaf coffee as well. The staff was very helpful and took personal pride in helping me secure a very important package that was delivered while I was out of the hotel. For the cost, this hotel was hard to beat. There are good restaurants close by and New Park Mall is a short walk just the other side of the highway. I was there for an extended stay and will use them again for my business there.
The breakfast was wonderful. I met Leonor, a hotel employee. She was delightful! She took great care in making sure the juice machines were full and operating correctly and she really enjoys her work. She was friendly, helpful and very efficient. It was a pleasure to meet her!
im not sure what the gentelmans name was i think it was kevin he was great very friendly and polite our tv set did not work he made sure it was taken care of right a way they also serve great free break fast in the morning and the staff is actually right there if you need anything very nice clean breakfast area
Nice Hotel with really nice rooms which allow working and relaxing. The breakfast was OK but the service was excellent. The both ladies Leonor and Georgina make my day being very friendly, funny and patient. Everything was pretty clean and always filled up. At the front desk more or less complicated changes of the on the receipt were always not a problem.
This was our second time staying at this particular Best Western Plus. The mattress was comfortable. The room was clean and well stocked. Did not hear any outside noise. Did not partake of breakfast but the room and staff get A+.
The hotel rooms are clean. Well maintained hotel. The staff are very courteous . Breakfast has limited choice but great. Since I am visiting US first time not sure how much versatile the breakfast items are in other hotels. The staff during breakfast time were very friendly, I know the name of two ladies Melanie and Leonor. Will definitely recommend this hotel
We will be making future trips through Fremont and will always stay at this hotel. We visit our doctors in the Bay Area and our friends. We used to live in Fremont for 45 years. We had our nieces from Washington always stay at this hotel and they were very satisfied. It is convenient for BART into the city and has easy access to both sides of the bay via freeway.
The hotel is well-kept, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is a cut above, but the shopping center it is in is noisy! The hotel is a great value for Silicon Valley, so try to get a room facing the pool/inside the property. I was on the side facing Applebee's and Outback, and during the night there were garbage trucks in and out and making safety beeps as they'd back up every time. 7:30 in the morning, gardeners were using leaf blowers. Amenities were great and clean. Wifi was okay. Not as fast as other hotels, but consistent.
Really loved my stay here. Staff here is so welcoming and professional. Really wish to come back here again. There are not enough words to say good things about the hotel staff. Thank you Melanie and ladies for having breakfast ready every morning with a great selection and for keeping the eating area so clean. You guys are really doing a wonderful job there. Jackie you went out of your way to make our stay here memorable and we are well taken care of. From the warm welcome from the front desk to the smiling face of housekeeping everything felt to warm and comfortable. Good team effort to make guests feel like home away from home. I definitely recommend Best Western ????
Loved this place. Friendly staff, wonderful beds and great breakfast selection. I only wish they had room service. However, there are several restaurants within walking distance. One restaurant is right next door.
Over the years we have seen the place revamped to a more desirable and accommodating place to stay. Thank you Melanie and ladies for having breakfast ready every morning with a great selection and eating area so clean.
Stayed here over the past 7+ months while traveling for work. Great place to stay, clean + comfortable, good breakfast (donuts on Wed.'s), Happy Hour a couple days during the week. Great staff - got to know a lot of them and they'd recognize me when I'd walk in the door and probably gave me a little favored treatment. Would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.
The motel was clean and comfortable. However, when we checked in, nobody informed us that all water would be turned off at 9:10am the next day. We were informed by a call at 8:55am that all waterwould be turned off at 9:10am!
We have stayed in other hotels in the area and found that this property was the nicest of them all. The room was recently remodeled, was tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff and management went out of there way to be sure our stay was comfortable. We plan on a return visit in April.
For being in a concrete jungle (as is most of Fremont) we had some views of trees and green out our window. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. As a proponent of EV's , I was pleased to see Tesla 80 amp chargers as well as J1772 chargers for all other electric cars--way to go Best Western!
What I liked most at the hotel is the location, closed to the freeway, the eateries are all walking distance and hotel staff and service are excellent. The breakfast food is great and our room is very clean. I also like the 4 cute pillows on each queen bed. The Refresh Executive is Elsa Williams Alpasa.
I had the pleasure of staying at The Best Western Plus Garden Court Inn, and the stay was amazing!!! The Room I stayed in (328) was the finest room I have ever stayed in. There is not one aspect of the room I would change! From the beds to the classy bathroom everything was top notch. The crystal clear Direct TV worked great paired with the HDTV's. The all important WiFi was strong and fast. The room was immaculate as it was a match made in hotel heaven!!! All of that to say the real treasure of the hotel is found at its core, and that is the hotels staff. I cannot say enough good things about the entire hotel staff:(David,Jackie,Ricky,Elsa,Adrianna,Weny) to name a few went out of there way to make sure I was well taken care of. It felt as if i was part of there hotel family. Simply put at this Property guest satisfaction is a total team effort. From the housekeepers glowing smiles as they joyfully cleaned rooms to the front desks warm welcome at check in. The whole experience was really beyond belief. I now understand why they are Ranked #1 on tripadviser, and once you stay here you will aswell.
This Best Western is my home away from home. They have had a beautiful remodel with comfy updated rooms. There is a wonderful complimentary Happy Hour on Tuesdays and Wednesday with appetizers. A beautiful well kept pool is on property. My favorite is the consistency of the staff and how they all know my name,
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past several years, it's always an enjoyable stay. The staff and service are outstanding. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful and almost park like. This hotel sets next to the I-880 fwy but you would never know it, it's very quite.. There is an Applebee's and an Olive Garden right next to the hotel.. Anytime I have any business or pleasure in the Fremont area, I will book this Hotel.
We stay here often, because my husband loves the breakfast! We both love how they try to grant every request. breakfast we love how Melanie, and Francisca are so helpful and friendly and polite to us.
We were in town for Super Bowl weekend. We were treated like royalty. We showed up a few days early to check out SB light rail arrangements. We were given a map to downtown San Jose for light rail stops. We asked for early check in on the day of the Super Bowl and they were bent over backwards to accommodate our needs. Have never had hotel staff be so helpful. The grounds were lovely and the room was very comfortable and clean. Great staff always equal a great stay in my book
This was by far the best place we have ever stayed at. Clean, very nice staff, was just like being at home...very comfortable. It had a microwave, fridge, and coffe pot....and was less than motel 6 with much better ser ices. The breakfast was thw bomb!!!! I will recommend to it everyone.
We had to stay here for a funeral. We flew in and this was the closest hotel to our family. The hotel was nice. It was surrounded by a lot of shopping and restaurants. It is right off the freeway. The only downside is that we were on the end next to the exterior door and got to listen to it slam all night. The only other problem we had was when we went to check out we were told we could not get a receipt. We couldn't possibly been the only people ever to want an itemized receipt. To expense any stay a company is going to want an itemized receipt. She had to get a managers approval and it honestly seemed like a waste of time and was rude to us as customers.
It was a delightful stay . Nothing better to start your morning with the most amazing , delicious breakfast . They had it all . Bacon , sausages , waffles , eggs , flavored creamer and the list goes on and on . They have the most polite well manner staff . ( Fransisca )and (Melanie) made me feel like I was royalty . They were very helpful , they greeted me with a smile and positive vibes . I would like every hotel to be like best western . It's truly the best .
After booking room, we realized we were in a hotel right next to a major freeway. We were pleased to find there was no freeway noise. Once the immediate neighbors quieted down, we were please the rest of the night was quiet.
Hotel is very good, has some nice updated rooms. Breakfast and Happy Hour are good!! TV channels are minimal, and do not offer the Warriors and or Giants games. NorCal guests have to go elsewhere to watch these games....Bummer!!!
This hotel is a perfect place to stay at. The room is very clean and relaxing. It has everything you need. The bathroom is clean, the beds and linens are very comfy and tidy. It has microwave, flat and iron, etc. and everything is ready for use unlike other hotels where u need to request for it first. Their continental breakfast is excellent as well, they serve really delicious food! Their staff are very friendly and accommodating. Thank you Eleanor Hanes for a wonderful service you have given us. All the staff are very friendly and ready to give their big smiles to everyone. I highly recommend this place to all those who are planning to have a trip in North Cali especially here in Fremont! It's like a home away from home! I will surely b e back here!!!!!
This hotel was amazing with amazing service we stayed in room 150 I was very impressed with the breakfast crew as well LEONOR and FRANCISCA were amazing with helping me and creating great hospitality!!!! We will definitely be coming back!!!:)
This a great for business or pleasure. The Breakfast was the best out of the Best Westerns we have stayed at. This a Very classy hotel. Lots of places to eat also. The pool and spa were nice also. We would stay there again !!
Good sized room, clean, quiet, nice view, great customer service,(special thanks to Tejanique Riddle & Adriana Davila), it has everything u need, has microwave, fridge, i love the light up mirror outside bathroom, couch, a big desk, lots of light and mirrors.. Its just great!
Newly renovated and well done. Clean and quiet even though it is near the freeway. Easy access to the freeway, restaurants, and shopping was great. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I expect a lot from Best Western's and this one did not disappoint.
Clean, comfortable, pet-friendly rooms and a great location with lots of dining options nearby. Plenty of in-room amenities and a nice breakfast spread. And the staff were friendly and helpful as well.
what a wonderful staff shana jackie elsa david are great i will come back here again, I just love this hotel so much. yesenia is such a great housekeeper, she cleaned my room so nicely, and leanor from breakfast she was wonderful. i love this hotel I would recommend this to everyone and anyone!
We've stayed here a few times in the past, and we were already impressed at how nice the place was. When you think Best Western, you may not have the highest expectations. This place completely smashes that preconceived idea. The hotel is beautiful inside, the lobby is amazing, and the newly renovated rooms are awesome! It looks like they really put some thought into the new design and features of the rooms when they renovated them. The beds are comfortable, the TV is nice and big, the design and feel is awesome, and there are even USB power ports on the lamps.. smart thinking! The assistant general manager Jackie was hanging out near the breakfast area in the morning, making sure everything was hot and fresh and everyone was happy. It's not often you see that kind of commitment to your customers. Managers are usually tucked away in the back room looking at numbers, but Jackie focuses on what really matters, the customers. The girl who checked us in at 11pm, Tejanique, was extremely upbeat and happy. I mean, its 11pm, haha, but she was attentive and helpful. Sounds like she enjoys her job, and that shines through when you talk to her. Hire the right people, and your customers will be happy, and they did! Thanks to the staff for making this another enjoyable stay, and completely blowing my mind on what to expect from a hotel. We'll be back!
This is my hotel. I stay there for business and pleasure more than 20 times a year. Clean comfortable rooms, great beds, a fabulous staff who goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. Great breakfast, free internet...a great pool, workout room and a yummy happy hour free buffet with wine! A best bet for business or family stays,
Adriana Davila the front desk and Melanie the lady who help with the breakfast both are very gently and help in everything the people in this hotel are happy people, gently and they love service the others.
Undergoing renovation now and we stayed in one of the new rooms - they are great, contemporary, well designed! Everything in the room was flawless. Beautiful 3rd floor room overlooking the pool and garden area - with a balcony and chairs, too. The place gives such a peaceful feel despite being right in the middle of the bay area just an on-ramp away from everything! Large breakfast area and huge fresh selection of the standbys - eggs, potatoes/toast... - but also freshly sliced fruit like pineapple! Belgian waffle machines made the perfect waffles: light in the middle and crispy on the outside. We met the breakfast manager, Elsa, and she was great - making sure we had everything we needed (and everyone else, too). Shana and Adriana at the front desk were genuinely polite and professional - This hotel has guest services down pat! Please give our compliments to Jackie and David for the fine team they have created here! Loved our stay and will make this our home while in the Bay Area.
Melanie, Did a great JOB setting up our meeting Suite. She went out of her way to make sure everything we need was is our meeting room, she was very helpfully. The staff at the front desk are very helpful and friendly!
Melanie was very attentive and friendly at the breakfast with excellent customer service! The food was fresh and perfect! The staff at the front desk are very helpful and friendly! A very safe place to stay with lots of amenities nearby. The beds are quite comfortable with lots of pillows.
The people at this hotel go out of there way to make your stay amazing. Rooms are spotless, beds are comfortable enough that you're probably going to be late to that event your headed for. The landscaping is done well. Great for the kids. The Pool and jucuzzi are the cleanest I've see at any place I've ever been too. Breakfast is out of this world.
We've been staying every Thanksgiving for the last five years (local relatives). The facility continues to improve and is very competitive. If I had to be here for business, it would be my first choice. The breakfast is a notable leap from previous years. Everything imaginable is offered. We also liked the wine and nibble gathering the previous night. The wine was surprisingly good and the food offerings diverse and generous. We'll be back next year again with our dog.
Our first stay and enjoyed the convenient location, friendly staff and clean room. Our needs were met quickly. The breakfast was just awesome. Leonor greeted us with a smile each morning and was a great representative of the inn in her helpfulness and conscientious desire to make sure the breakfast experience was great.
I love this property. I look for a reason to travel to Fremont area so I stay here. They are now remodeling the rooms and they look amazing. I was walking down the hall and I hear the joyful, happy voice singing. To my
I've been traveling in the area on a long project and have stayed at the Best Western Garden Court the majority of the time. Staff is friendly + professional; grounds are clean + well kept; prices are competative with the area; breakfast is good (and they have happy hour a couple days of the week); wifi internet is reliable. This last week I got a newly renovated room + they've done a great job. I imagine the rest will follow suit.
i was treated like royalty. they tended to my every need. the breakfast was excellent as always, everything was fresh, and hot. i would highly recommend best western to all. thank you best western. looking forward to my next trip which will be in 2 weeks.
Our stay is very pleasant! The staff are great! The GM (David) is so professional and very friendly! The front office staff are wonderful, Shana & Adriana are very helpful and friendly. They are so pleasant to be in the frontdesk. The room are very clean and nicely arrange. The houskeeper are very friendly and the housekeping manager Elsa is very approachable, attentive, helpful and friendly. All of them are your asset to your company. I definitely recommend staying in this hotel. No matter if it's for business or pleasure, this hotel is the place to stay. Excellent in everything!
Stayed 4 nights during our San Francisco visit. Nice hotel, room, pool and parking. Breakfast room too small and crowdy. Public ransportation to/from San Francisco Ok from Fremont BART station. Feel afterwards that we paid too much for the room --
Every aspect of our stay was good or great. Breakfast had a lot of self serve choices. The stay is somewhat expensive if you only need a comfortable bed. I did not get reward points for our stay. BW has not shown an easy way to receive their rewards.
I stayed at this hotel recently with a few friends. We found this at a price within our budget and close to the attraction we were going to. The hotel indicated it was recently renovated and we saw that in the entrance of the hotel with the new modern look. We checked into our room which was located in the building towards the back (closes to Olive Garden). When you walk into the building, an odor hits you right away that you can't really pinpoint. We thought maybe the carpets were recently shampooed and it was the chemicals. Then we entered our room and the smell was even worse. We opened up the sliding door which had a nice view of the landscape and pool. The room was set up nicely with various amenities available. It was clean. We were on a schedule so we just dropped off our luggage and went on our way to our event. Upon return, which was late at night, the smell was still overwhelming. We called the front desk and inquired about changing rooms but none were available. We left the door open in hopes that it would help air out our room. We've concluded that the building must have been a smokers building but the smoke is inside the walls. For breakfast, we walked over to the main building and smelled nothing there. The breakfast was excellent with choices of eggs, ham, sausage, potatoes, waffles, pastries, yogurt, fruit, and cereal to eat. The dining area was clean and maintained. The staff were readily available to replenish items and clean up. Overall, I would have given this place 5 stars but due to the smell we had to endure, as a non-smoker, I couldn't handle it. Unfortunately, it's a 3 star for me.
Clean, quiet (except for noisy doors), nice outdoor pool and hot tub, healthy breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt, muffins; patio outside room with mature landscape, friendly staff. Like others, my initial night was listed as $220, but room rate dropped to $139 with AARP and Best Western Rewards. There are several decent chain restaurants (Olive Garden, Applebee's, Denny's) within a block of the inn. Easy access to Interstate 880 highway. Highly recommended!
Excellent staff, rooms are very clean and updated. Breakfast is amazing. Check in process very smooth. The fitness room was convenient. The Jacuzzi was clean, however I recommend warming up the water more.
Decent hotel in a safe area. I thought overpriced for the night I spent during the week but dropped to reasonable other two nights. I would ask for a room facing the pool. My wife and I had a balcony on second floor facing parking lot and workers would hang out and drink beer and smoke pot for a while after work. Then we saw a guy urinating outside the restaurant next door. Not that big a deal but not great either. Thought I left my glasses there and tried to get with lost and found but don't bother, they don't have a system for that. One that works anyway. Staff very nice and pool area beautiful.
I was extremely pleased with everything about this hotel. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet -- something that is very important to a light sleeper like me. The TV was large and its picture was crisp. The shower pressure was good was a water-conserving fixture. The bathroom sink is located in a separate space from the toilet and shower, affording greater privacy. The breakfast was very good in terms of variety and quality. The staff members were extremely friends. The grounds and swimming pooI are lovely and well kept. I would surely stay here again. I have three very minor quibbles. First, in an effort to conserve energy, the thermostat cannot be set lower than 65 degrees. This is probably fine for most people, but I enjoy a really cold room when I sleep. Second, there is some background traffic noise when you open the porch door, but but else can you expect when a hotel is located so conveniently relative to the freeway and stores? Finally, there was no elevator in the two-story building in which my room was located. This was not a problem for me at all, but anyone who can't heft their suitcase up a flight of stairs would need to ask for a ground floor room. In all, though
Had a very enjoyable experience. Room was clean and quiet. The check in and out was very fast. The staff was super helpful to me and very friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again. I was surprised that the breakfast actually tasted good and nice presentation. Clean area and organized which is appreciated.
It's very unusual these days to find a hotel/motel that has kept mature trees and gardens on it's property. But at the Best Western Plus in Fremont, the inner court of the property provides a welcome and calming relief to a busy day. During my stay, the weather was nice enough to take advantage of the little patio outside of my room, and sit in the shade of large trees. The pool area looks like its been recently renovated and looked very inviting. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and lots of very good restaurants nearby. Not too far down the road is a Whole Foods, in addition to a Lucky's that is almost across the street.
Everyone was nice Elsa & Weney were very friendly and made sure I was taken care of after a long night of work...breakfast was hot and filling and the other guess we're very friendly.... made my day go by a little easier also ....will be back :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
I had just worked a 12 hour shift and didn't feel up to making the drive home. I looked up hotels on my Tripadvisor app and chose Best Western in Fremont when i arrived i was very impressed. Everything from the hotel lobby to the room looked amazing! Ellen was very helpful during my stay and made me feel very much at home. I got the best nights sleep that I've had in a long away from home. I will definitely be back.
Hotel is needs a renovation , (during my stay they start one).. Breakfast is sucks, even by comparing to other Best Western's. There was a lot of problem with my door, it wasn't lock, they fixed it , but problem turn back... Gym is a joke. Rooms with pool view is recomended Pool is nice and clean. Stuff are friendly. Location is good.. there is a supermarket , a big mall , restaurants and couple of bars
Updated, clean, comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. Nice outdoor grounds and lobby area. Good breakfast and mid-week happy hour for rewards members. Just off freeway but quiet. Near numerous stores and restaurants.
We went to California for a wedding picked this hotel because it was close to wedding and Golden State Baptist College where we had friends to visit. I am so glad we picked this hotel it was clean and breakfast was really good. Would stay here again if I go back to California
