I stayed here for two weeks with my job they have clean rooms , nice beds , staff was great meet the head housekeeper sonie she's very nice told her I work 3pm til 3am and needed my room done after 3pm every day and she worked it out ... will be back soon !!!

Not in a great looking area- outside there's a fair amount of trash by the pond (liquor bottles and caps) the hotel itself is renovated but it's been done poorly. The rooms look clean but are not clean- there was hair everywhere- each time my kids walked around the room there was hair stuck to them somewhere and it made me want to gag. I found clothes that belonged to a previous person in a drawer and socks from what looked like two different guests under the edge of the bed. Pen cap on the floor clearly visible. These things make me feel like it wasn't vacuumed. The doors have a gap at the bottom which makes it so that people in the hallway can hear us and we could hear them ALL NIGHT LONG. Although it was remodeled the rooms didn't FEEL clean. The cable would go out off and on for no reason. The hallway smelled like cigarettes as we were leaving in the morning- my 2 year old son had been coughing all night and we didn't know why but he has asthma and it made me wonder if it was coming in from under the door during the night and we didn't realize it. They have cameras down the hallways to the rooms and I wasn't sure if that made me feel safe or scared because they needed them... the cart to get our luggage up and down to the rooms barely made it there and back each time- vey difficult to maneuver they are stained and not in good shape. The AC didn't keep the room an even temperature we were either freezing or too hot. I did not sleep well considering all of these things. breakfast tasted good and there were several options available. The staff were all excellent and friendly- honestly the staff are the only reason I didn't complain- they were very personable and I genuinely liked everyone I spoke with! Considering everything we would not stay here again- and would not consider another best western again.

I got to say I myself has had a great stay here... The rooms are nice and spacious . But just the overall appearance of the hotel is great. I stayed for two weeks and first thought was oh boy. But thanks to the wonderful employees for making my stay a little more welcoming. The smiles on their faces say it all and the tone of there voice speaks for itself. You dont meet to many faces that enjoy their job.. But this group here seems to take pleasure in taking care of their customers and making sure they feel at home while visiting.. here I say Thanks to 3 employees that strike a key in my everyday stay. They are caring, and they get their jobs done. SONNIE (Thanks girl you made my stay great)You kept me smiling. Stephanie and Sam are also great ones to. there are so many more people here that I could tell you about but I don't know their names.. so let me just say Thanks Best Western... I had a great time.. (the young lady in 209) lol

I stayed one night. The price that was online did not match with the price when I arrived. I paid $125/one night and it was definitely over priced. The staff were great and accommodating.The first room that I got, did not have a working air conditioner and she immediately placed me in another room. The rooms in general are fine. The bed was comfortable and it was clean. You can tell there have been some updates but they are not very well done. (faucets loose and away from wall and counter tops, etc) The bathrooms of both rooms had a very strong mildew odor and I could see mold on the grout lines. I had to shut the door so the smell did not take over the room. I didn't want to even shower the next morning the smell was so overpowering. This has been the 3rd time I have stayed at a Best Western with the same issues. Unfortunately, I will choose another hotel in the future.

Our stay was in August and we paid approximately $120 for one night. The lobby and common areas inside the hotel were all newly remodeled so our first impression was great. When we went into our room we were delighted at the fact it was extremely spacious (we had a king room with pull out couch). The bathroom was a little small; the sink was outside the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the pillows were less than comfortable for sure. The room seemed to be renovated recently, however the job was very sloppy. The paint was a mess! I certainly wouldn't have accepted that work from a professional. There were other things that had been done that just seemed very lazy by professional contractors. Nothing that was a deal breaker, but I was a little disappointed. The breakfast on the other hand... top notch. Clean, hot, and plenty of choices.

I stayed here on business, the rate we we're quoted was under $100. Low and behold, check out time I received a receipt for over $200 per night. The staff wasn't able to do anything and the general manager would not give them permission to change the price back. The GM Meera also refused to call me or take a call to diffuse the situation. The only answer I received was that if I came back and stayed again I would be charged the correct rate.

The location is nice. It's near a lot of restaurants, a Starbucks in the same parking lot, and a big Kroger (I believe) with anything you could ever need for travels right next to it. Food, clothes, toiletries, prepared hot food, beer/alcohol, etc.

I wish I could choose zero stars for this hotel. I am a business man and have traveled for 30 years and have never found a more disgusting hotel. Found panty's under the sheets and dirty rags hanging over the shower curtain. Unfortunately I did not find this until the next morning when I got out of bed. Completely mortified!!! I finally got a call from the owner of the hotel who went on to tell me that she would refund my money only if I didn't put this on trip advisor. She said if she saw it after she made the refund she would hit my company card again. Unbelievable!!!!!!! I have contacted corporate Best Western to let them know what was said. I have informed my company and I can tell you that Best Western is off of our company's list of acceptable hotels. I will say it again worst I have ever seen in 30 years of business travel!

Our team required 15 rooms for a 5 night stay. The staff was courteous from start to finish. Our rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. I stay here for business as well and would highly recommend when visiting this area.

Nice location. Very nice and helpful staff. Despite all of that, I cannot recommend this hotel in its present condition. The staff really went out of their way to try to rectify the situation and for that I gave my rating of 2 instead of 1. They tried to be accommodating and were apologetic for the inconveniences we experienced. I was in town for training with my company and the corporate office set us all up here. The beds are hard. Like granite. With no give at all. I like a firm mattress but this was beyond firm. I found the pillows to be uncomfortable too, and small. I got no sleep the first night. Said something to the front desk in the morning, she said no one before had complained about the firmness of the mattresses or that they were uncomfortable. Told me I could check out another room to see if the bed was more comfortable, but it was not. So the result was putting a few more mattress pads on the bed to see if that helped. It helped somewhat. The second night of my stay we were awoken in the early morning hours with a leak in the ceiling. We were on the second of 3 floors so obviously something was going on upstairs. The a/c unit in the room is loud. The entire hotel has a very strange musty smell. The outdoor pool is freezing. If they do heat it, it wasn't working. It was seriously ice cold and no point in trying to use it unless they get that worked out. Breakfast is average and the coffee provided is weak so hit the nearby Starbucks. Unless they seriously up their game, make some improvements for the comfort of their guests, I cannot recommend staying here.

"Great place close to everything"

Hotel was located within twenty minutes of everything we wanted to do while visiting Fort Wayne for the first time. Pool area was clean and surprisingly deserted while we were there. There are several restaurants and a grocery store located within walking distance. The grocery store, Kroger, is not one we have where we live, and it's more then a grocery store with a little bit of everything else mixed in, clothes, jewelry, and all kinds of other things. Every single member of the staff we encountered were awesome. Can't say enough good things about our stay here.

This is a gem of a hotel located within walking distance of several places to eat and right off the I-69. I was impressed the front desk called us and asked how our room was. Nice attention to detail. Breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, waffles and other breakfast items

We rented two rooms and found both to be clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly upon check in and at breakfast the next morning. I found this hotel to be nice and I would say here again on my travels.

This review could have been higher if our room had been clean... Hair in the refrigerator is unacceptable. Hair on the bathroom ceiling. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.. Very dusty lamp..But the bed was clean...If we had noticed these things upon check-in, we would have requested a different room. Very helpful staff. A wide range of breakfast items that were kept refilled so all guests had many choices. Common areas were clean and inviting.

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel during our drive from Oklahoma City to Toronto and this was a great stopover. We paid a fair price here. All of the staff members were nice and helpful. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The lobby is super clean as well. The hotel is easily accessible from I-69 at Exit 302. There are a lot of stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. We will definitely stay here again

First time at this BW and been awhile since stayed at a BW. Joe and his staff were excellent! Joe went out of his way to make our group stay exceptional. Rooms were very clean, hotel clean and recently remodeled. Staff was very professional. Was staying with a group for a basketball tournament. Would recommend this hotel!

Really a very nice place. Desk personnel were very friendly. Saturday morning had a pancake machine and Sunday had the Waffle iron. Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and clean. Kinda back behind everything. As soon as you turn on Coventry turn right again. There's a bw sign right there. If ya miss it you can come into the backside. There's an entrance back there also.

Need new management A real maintenance man in knows what he is doing and better housekeeping in the like is family or owners that's doing the housekeeping the manager never came to see us the other rooms smell like dogs so we just stuck out last time we will stay

Did you remodel recently? I feel like you did. The bed was comfy, the carpet looked newer and I really liked the blankets on the bed. They were fluffy and comfortable. I stay in Fort Wayne for business quite often. I really like best Western for their rewards program. Some other hotels offer it for CLC users and some other hotels don't. Best Western does so I get a lot of points for my stays that actually amount to something I can use for myself. We have a lot of choices in what hotels we would personally like to stay in and I could choose other places, but I like BW for their rewards. Thanks for recognizing us!

We were able to get a King size bed and bring our 2 cats. Nice big room, comfy bed. Refrigerator in room and since we checked in a 11:30pm chocolate cookies were at the front desk! Bonus! My husband likes sinks outside of the bathroom too which we got.

Patron beware if you cancel after 4. You will be charged regardless due to their policy... They don't understand if you breakdown or have a family emergency they will still charge you if you don't call before 4 p.m. to cancel

I stayed at this hotel in Dec of 2017 on business. I don't normally stay here but it was a last minute business trip to Fort Wayne. The front desk clerk (Wanda) when I checked in was very friendly and efficient. The room was very nice for the Best Western brand and my stay was very good. In Jan, I realized I had been charged for the day after I left. In mid Jan I called and spoke with the manager Meera. She looked up the issue, agreed it was wrong, apologized for the mistake and promptly removed the charge from my credit card. All was good. Thanks

Wish the toilet had been connected to trap completely-waste water leaked from the bottom of toilet every time we flushed...in addition, the bed was not comfortable at all-both my wife and I woke up with sore backs

of all the hotels in the Coventry area, this BW has the best staff and they will make your visit pleasant and worry-free... a lot of new hotels have sprung up in the area the last few years and they are almost identical in the rooms and services offered-breakfast, workout room, wifi, etc- so the quality of staff is a major factor deciding factor for me and other corporate travelers...

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was recently redecorated, large and comfy. I did find the pillows a little on the lumpy side. Nice variety of food at breakfast which is included. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by.

Front desk was there waiting to check in as I walked in even though it was late. Gave us a 3 queen bed room! I didn't even know those existed. It was great as each kid could now have their own bed. The beds were all the foam, not the uncomfortable springs. Everything was clean and no smell. Husband was happy that there were biscuits and gravy for breakfast. The coffee wasn't that good, but everything else was.

My husband and I had a emergency visit to Ft. Wayne. The hospital where we visited a patient was within 5 min. of hotel, perfect for us. Hotel staff Debi, Joe and Darnel (food staff) all were kind and so helpful. Room was clean and large. We did suggest a lounge chair in room would be a nice addition. They informed us future remodeling will include this. I would recommend and will stay there again.

We recently stayed at this hotel for a family funeral. The hotel and rooms were so clean and welcoming! The staff was amazing. Debi went above and beyond for us and we really appreciated it. The breakfast was lovely. There was a different selection of breakfast meats daily as well as cereal, yogurt, danish, pastries, cereal, biscuits and gravy. I'm sure I left some of it out! The front desk was wonderful. So helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend the Beat Western Luxbury Inn!

This hotel is friendly, nice, clean. And the best breakfast of the hotels in the southwest area of Ft Wayne. We love staying here. They offer cookies at check in and they also call your room to make sure everything is ok. Super friendly.

Had a good night sleep. Breakfast was awesome!! The staff especially Debi where friendly and very helpful. The room was very large and I should of brought the rest of the family on this trip. The would of loved it.

Staff barely spoke to us during the check In process and was not friendly during check in. Bed comfort was terrible! Breakfast was just okay. The buscuits were not fully cooked and the other food was just ordinary hotel food. Other than that it was Nice and quiet.

The first thing to know is GPS might try to take you all the way to the backside of the loop on Coventry. The entrance is actually a few hundred feet off of SR24 on Coventry. It appears that you are heading to Comfort Suites, but just keep going around the curve as it's hidden a bit. There are small signs but easy to miss as you take in all the restaurants and shopping. Very nice helpful staff, great price, comfortable room, excellent breakfast. I give them 2 thumbs up!!

I was recently referred to this hotel by the Vice President of the United States himself. I had never met Joe before, but heard his name around the community for all he does for the community. It is great to have a manager of a hotek with such a great name in the community in which he lives. After meeting Joe in person for the first time it is no wonder so many people revere him. He is a people person like I had never seen before. He helped get my luggage out of my room and it was clear he cares about what he does. We have an upcoming event in fort Wayne and will be staying at this hotel solely because of Joe Townsend. God bless this great American patriot.

Great customer service all around, along with good room and breakfast with plenty of tables to eat at. Business center was very useful, as needed to print out some materials. Hotel location just off interstate, but hard to find as hidden from view - my Garmin got me there easily.

The hotel is just off the I69 and has a Kroger and a Starbucks in easy walking distance which proved very handy. There were also a variety of restaurants really close by. The breakfast room was spacious, bright and very well supplied.

The room was amazing. It had three double size beds. Shower and bathroom was very clean. The beds were extra comfortable. Linens and towels smelled really good. It was a great experience. I will be recommending this hotel for my teams when they come to play soccer 3 years form now 2020.

This was the last of our AAU basketball tournament trips. We had three of our boys with us. Free breakfast; all day free juice, coffee and hot cocoa was a big plus. The outdoor pool was great even though we didn't use it. Just didn't have time. Great for our budget.

We arrived early at the hotel. (It was pouring rain, so could not to start our job elswhere.) The girl was able to get us a room after a little while, for which we were thankful. Despite the rain we were ready to leave town a day before our reservation was up. When we told Joe we were checking out early, he responded with a smug look and said "You can, but the room was booked on line and is prepaid." Then he ran the card and printed it out to prove it. So we drove the extra miles to and from the hotel since the had charged us. The stay was booked on Best Western's website like all our stays and we have never had that problem before. Anna was a bright spot, she was smiing, happy and helpful anytime we saw her. The room was great, but there really is not good truck parking as advertised. (Every truck had to drag their trailer over the curb in the turn around or pull into Comfort Inn & back in.) Stay at the Comfort Inn, they have drive around parking & everyone seemed happy to work there.

The BW Luxbury is very convenient for visiting Lutheran Hospital, the purpose of our stay. The price is a good value. There are several other hotels in the area and the BW provided a very comfortable room for lower cost than the others. Breakfast is fine, eggs, waffles, cereal, tended by a very cheerful lady. This is the second time we have stayed at the Luxbury and would do so again.

First the positives - check in was efficient, TV worked well, wifi was fast & reliable, bed was comfortable, fitness center equipment worked, breakfast fare was good, & the room was clean. Staff were friendly & the rate was reasonable. Now the negatives - A/C was clearly not working when I checked in, & after complaining several times, I was moved to another room. Microfridge did not work, so staff stored my perishable food overnight in the hotel fridge & the toilet ran every 30 seconds. I doubt that I would stay there again.

OK experience. AC didn't seem to be working (had at lowest temp) and we kept waking up throughout the night because it was so hot in our room. Breakfast was ok. Kids were happy with the waffle maker and strawberry sauce. The eggs/cheese were cold. I think these are pre-made, frozen and then thawed for the breakfast.

We reserved a 2 nite stay for one room. Our confirmation stated that!!! Had that as proof! But when we checked-in - told us we had reserved 2rooms for 2 nights. Wanted to take care of the problem with the manager but would NEVER show up to talk to us, was given diff times he would be there, but in 2 days NEVER showed, even the staff was looking for Dev- I guess he couldn't look us in the face or hotel needed the money, cause it was empty. Very BAD experience. Wished I would hav stayed at the Hilton, after what we got charged. Just be careful, don't let them stick you for an EXTRA nite!!!! We didn't need the hassle, we were in town for a family emergency. Learned my lesson with Best Western -

Stayed at this property for 5 nights in June 2017. Initial impressions were good. Excellent front counter staff who were always easy to find and *very* helpful throughout my stay. Room was a good size and had everything I needed. Queen bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have extra blankets in the room (I didn't ask to have them brought up). Floor needed a vacuum but otherwise the room was clean. Didn't get housekeeping 2 of the 5 nights I was there (they looked to be short staff on housekeeping). Breakfast was free and OK. Hot items included eggs (scrambled or pre-made eggs+American cheese) and either breakfast sausages or patties. Limited bread choices. Apples were provided and were perfect. Coffee and juice were good too.

The hotel staff were all Professional, Friendly and Courteous. Breakfast at other hotels have been a gamble for us. Sometimes its ok, sometimes - not so much. I was quite impressed with the quality of breakfast foods served. I'm a sausage gravy snob, and what you served was AWESOME as was the other items. Very good value for me and the family. Rooms were not clean. Sheets were not changed out in the 2 weeks I was there. Construction caused excess dust in room and noise conflicted with work. Breakfast was powder eggs, biscuit, sausage gravy and breakfast sausage, waffles. No diversity

Okay as a road rep traveling across the Mid West I have truly found a great place to stay in Fort Wayne,Indiana.The Best Western Luxbury Inn is and has been my choice for over 20 years.During the last 8 or 9 year it has been run by Meera Piprottar and her husband.I will say this that I have never written a negative review for this great hotel when BW has asked my opinion.Why? Simple I couldn't find anything negative about my stays.From check in, to a nice clean and warm comfortable room (in the Fall and Winter) or cool room (in the Spring and Summer) to a great quite and restful sleep overnight it has been very special.There breakfast menu in the morning is loaded with super good things to eat.! A great way to start your day for sure.So people if you are planning a trip to Fort Wayne or just passing through as I do with my job you as I have for multiple years.... Never regret it!!!

We stayed here for the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend. The lobby is so beautiful. I felt like I was at home. The breakfast room was spacious too!

I can look past an outdated room but the dust and dirt in the room was horrible. When reported to staff they did not even acknowledge my statement. I have stayed at this location before but will never again. Luckily I had Lysol wipes and was able to wipe down the room myself.

We arrived in Fort Wayne for a family emergency and this was basically the only hotel available because of a Vera Bradley sale. We received a room that was supposedly the last one available and was to be the executive suite! What a joke! The room was in need of a major renovation. We were charged $150 a night, not worth the value. We spent a week here. We had one lightweight blanket on the bed and it was cold at night. The blackout curtain was broken and didn't keep out the light from the big parking lot lights. The trash was not emptied on several days and I had to make a issue of the trash not being removed by putting the trash cans in the middle of the room. The Kleenex was not replaced when it ran out, the sink was not cleaned. The soap dish was not cleaned and the bed wasn't made; housekeeping merely pulled the cover up. The bathroom floor was mopped with who knows what!

We stayed for one night with our dog and everything was fine - service, room and amenities. The room was big enough and king bed is a king bed! A/C is a bit noisy as well as I had to turn the fridge off for the night as it made some noise. Otherwise, we liked everything!

Visited fort Wayne so many time, room was great, out dated tho, WiFi. Keep going out. There was an odor in hallway coming up the stairs .. Manager housekeeper mad place smelled really nice. My concerns were front desk, no smiles, rude attitude, front desk older short lady being rude on phone. I always see different workers here Everytime I come here. Apparently. Location could be better. It sets behind another hotel but there are directional signs to help find it. Had a new employee help us with the manager helping her. It want alright, took a little longer than what I would liked but I get have one of their cookies. Rooms are large and furnished very well.

I stopped here for 1 night with 2 Shih Tzu's. The fee was fair at $20.00, but if you only have 1 dog they still charge $20.00. I didn't think that was fair to folks that only had 1 dog. The room was clean and quiet, I think because the ceilings between the 1st and 2nd floor was concrete.

We have stayed here for the past 5 years straight and was great and a wonderful experience with the property and staff ! This year we had reserved a King Suite . We arrived and place was not busy at all . Checked me in and I told them we had a small Federally Registered Service Dog , that weighed 12 lbs and stayed in a carrier . they then cancelled the nice suite and told us we had to take a "Pet Friendly" Room ? We went to check it out and it had 2 beds , not a King , and it smelled like a kennel ! So "Pet Friendly " means they dont clean it ! I said " I dont think so " and told the wife we will go to the Sheridan or somewhere like it . He then called his manager and tried to get us another room , the manager kept try'ing to pass off bad rooms , but he told them not available . He then hooked us up with a Handi Cap Acess room #108 , he said had to be on 1st floor ( Which was ok with us ). The room was acceptable but not like our previous stays ! Desk Clerk then had us fill out pet waiver paper for deposit and cleaning charges , which they cant do ( I just pet N/A on all the spaces and signed ) , also had us give them a copy of the registration of the service animal . Hey Best Western , a service animal is not considered a PET ! Your manager needs to read the Federal Laws and understand them , we are ok and understand how some people with pets are and that you have to protect your property , but the laws are on the peoples side on this issue and you need to be careful ! Our stay was good and the staff was ok, breakfast could have been better . Next year we are looker for better and closer place to our venue (The Coliseum). I wont say avoid or anything bad about the place , but they lost our business.

We had a room with two double beds and a couch with a fold out bed. The couch bed was such a pleasant surprise, as I was traveling with my three sons, and we had plenty of room. The beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a nice sized shower and it was clean with no mold. Though we didn't have time to use it, the pool looked nice, and the overall appearance and atmosphere of the hotel was clean, calm, and relaxing. We had to leave by 6:45AM, and breakfast was not posted until 7AM. However, when I spoke to the person at the front desk, she assured me there would be cold breakfast items and waffles available, including juice and coffee, but the hot items wouldn't be available until 7AM. We were able to eat before leaving, and we greatly appreciated having that. I was very pleased with our stay, and I will certainly be inclined to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here when attending a concert in town. Staff was friendly and lobby is fresh and updated. Rooms will hopefully follow. Not bad, just dated. Was impressed when a staff member tried to discuss internal detail in front of desk customer AND the head clerk deferred conversations for "later." She did the right thing and showed how important her customers were.

We had book our room a month in advance, booking a king due to there was just the two of us this trip. The room that we were given was not clean so we were given an other not that it was made up and not clean it just had not be touched at all. The room we were given was very clean. There were three full beds in the room. This would be great for a family with kids. We travel with ours most of the time, would love to have more hotels like this room. Most of the time one of ours ends up on the pull out or a roll away. It is in a great location close to the interstate. You can get to several restaurants, movies and grocers store with out getting back on the main road. You have to eat a Sarah's if you stay .

we were returning from a wedding and stayed at the hotel again in the way back as it was the best value and a clean, restful stop. At check-in, the person at the front desk was very nice and friendly. Upon hearing that we were return customers, she upgraded our rooms and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. It made our pleasant trip even better.

We had a room with two double beds and a couch with a fold out bed. The couch bed was such a pleasant surprise, as I was traveling with my three sons, and we had plenty of room. The beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. The bathroom had a nice sized shower and it was clean with no mold. Though we didn't have time to use it, the pool looked nice, and the overall appearance and atmosphere of the hotel was clean, calm, and relaxing. We had to leave by 6:45AM, and breakfast was not posted until 7AM. However, when I spoke to the person at the front desk, she assured me there would be cold breakfast items and waffles available, including juice and coffee, but the hot items wouldn't be available until 7AM. We were able to eat before leaving, and we greatly appreciated having that. I was very pleased with our stay, and I will certainly be inclined to stay again!

The hotel is nice, clean and modern at first. But then when you get to the room everything is old and needing a serious new look. Our door wouldn't stay shut unless you locked it, serious security issue! AC was black from dust, bathroom grout was black and shower head pipes were coming out of the wall, carpet was old and dusty and the yogurt at breakfast was curdled...I just about threw up when I opened it. When I brought this up to whom I assume was the manager, she gave a polite sorry and sent me on my way... I guess she is used to the complaints..??? Over all, we slept fine. But will absolutely never stay here again unless they do some serious remodeling! And get their staff to deep clean the rooms better!

The door lock and other issues were addressed immediately after they were reported and we have subsequently trained our staff to report those issues to appropriate departments. Our breakfast attendant did discuss the yogurt incident with me on the same day. She was very embarrassed to face the situation and didn't know what to say, since this is a rare incident at our hotel. The yogurt cup didn't have any visible indication that it was bad and it wasn't expired as per expiration date on the cup. I will make sure to bring this to our supplier's attention and will see if there is a way to find out if yogurt is bad inside a sealed cup to avoid this type of incident. I am very excited to share with you that our designer is already working on design and approval of a new carpet, furniture, and decor, and we have already started tile work in our bathrooms. This hotel is a great value - a reasonably priced, large, and clean room. There are a great selection of restaurants nearby. Check-in and check-out were very fast and desk persons courteous and professional. Wifi was faster than we normally encounter in other hotels. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here overnight with my 2 sons and my little dog. I chose it based on Trip Advisor reviews and that it was pet friendly (my little dog travels everywhere with us). I don't know what the person below is talking about - her (or his) review states that they had cold showers, loud AC and a musty smell in all 3 of their rooms - I don't know where that person was staying, but it doesn't sound like this place at all. All 3 of us had nice hot showers, the AC in the room was fine, no issues (wasn't any louder or quieter than most other hotels I have stayed in, and I have stayed in MANY different hotels from MANY different hotel chains). And for us, there was no musty smell in the room, or in the entire hotel for that matter (and I am very sensitive to any offensive or musty odor, and I couldn't smell any from here). Nice professional staff, check in and out was easy and quick, nice hot breakfast (no powdery eggs for our stay), clean room, conveniently located, nice (clean) green grass area for pets, decent price - not a whole lot more you could ask for. Would stay here again.

We stayed only one night as we were on our way to Missouri. It was conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, Krogers grocery store, and Walgreens. The hotel was not busy. We had a spacious room with all the amenities. The complimentary breakfast was the usual Best Western and was adequate. We have no complaints.

Not sure why it is rated as highly as it is. The outside of the hotel looks like it does need a bit of a facelift. The lobby was fine. The staff at check in were pleasant enough. The room was okay. Beds were clean and comfortable. There was mildew on the bathtub faucet. Breakfast was okay. Nice to have a little more variety than just make your own waffles and pastries. It wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to stay there again. However, there are several other choices in the area.

Our son was having surgery early the next morning at a local hospital so we made the 2-hour drive to stay the night before. While it is an older hotel and could use some updating, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was not working in the room so we were immediately moved to another room. Matt who was working the front desk was very friendly and efficient. Because we had to be over at the hospital by 5:00 in the morning we were not able to partake of the breakfast which was included since it was not served until 6:00.

Hotel hard to find, roadwork in the area didn't help. It's located in a very busy area. Lots of fast food and chain restaurants in the area. Front desk staff when I checked in was friendly and helpful. Room was outdated and the lighting wasn't very good, layout is odd with the toilet/shower area right by the door. The sink is in the hallway area. My window had a view of the back of a shopping mall. Room was clean though, and everything worked except the desk chair had a broken arm. Low water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was typical of a mid range hotel that has free breakfast. My room was quiet but I don't think there were many people staying there that night. One thing that always turns me off is a hotel that places a list of the cost of items in the room (towels, hair dryer, etc) out for the guests, which leads me to believe that the customers that stay there are in the habit of stealing. Doesn't make me feel safe when I travel alone. I'll probably stay somewhere else the next time I'm in Fort Wayne.

My 14 y.o. son and I traveled to Ft. Wayne in June 2016 so he could participate in a speed (Rubik's) cubing competition. Never having been to the area I was starting from scratch as far as finding a hotel for our one night stay. I chose the BW Luxbury Inn after reading TripAdvisor reviews. It's located outside of town but conveniently right off the interstate. This is a newer hotel with a contemporary look and feel, large and comfortable rooms, and we were very happy with our choice. The competition took place the next morning in downtown Ft. Wayne which took us less than 15 minutes to reach with no traffic. The hotel is near other retail establishments, including roadside restaurants (chains) and a Starbucks for morning coffee. Overall I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area. It was an excellent choice at a reasonable price.

Booked on line thru Trip Advisor using I-pad. No e-mail. Hotel had no record when we arrived but had a room available. Checked at desk today and they show check-in date of today. Wrong. I-pad confirms date was yesterday. Have to call credit card company as they cannot cancel now? The bathroom floor was nasty and in need of bleach. The toilet paper was partially unrolled. The handle on the sink was upside down and the water ran slowly and was not hot. Room 134. TA shows great reviews but we won't stay here again.

I'm a Best Western diamond elite member. One thing that stands out about this property, is they may not participate in the Best Western rewards program. They certainly did not recognize my status as a diamond member, and as such gave me the room with the smallest beds although a complimentary upgrade for diamond elites is customary at Best Western world wide. Now, perhaps they would cite my method of payment as an excuse. My method of payment is completely irrelevant, as my status was earned prior to my stay here, and is in no way contingent upon a specific form of payment going forward. This property simply shows that the repeat business is simply not appreciated, for whatever reason that may be. This property specifically, is not accommodating. I requested to check out but reserve the room for a second night in case the need arose. I informed I would know by 4pm if I would need the room or not. They said they could not reserve a room for me and if I wanted it I had to commit to it and pay it at that time, although it was only 6:30am. I elected to keep the room as my return was almost certain. And I did in fact return. Still, the unwillingness to be accommodating is the issue. They could be accommodating, they just don't want to be accommodating. Breakfast was average. It would have been fine, except I encountered 2 yogurts that were curdled. A definite minus here. Room was clean. The experience was fine. A decent place to sleep. Good, but by no means great. They are fine with that. They do absolutely nothing out of the way for guest satisfaction, although checkin was great. Keep your standards low and you will be happy. Plenty of restaurants and a very large grocery store within walking distance. Lots of pluses, they are all just off property.

Thank you for a comfortable stay during our conference; efficient work out room, comfortable room and internet, outdoor swimming pool was clean and easy to use. Morning breakfast had a variety of foods and drinks and was clean and adequate. I was just passing through the area and decided to stop there last minute. After stopping at multiple hotels and being told they were sold out before I could even open my mouth to ask if they had a room, it was wonderful to walk into this hotel and be greeted with a simple " Hello, How can I help you?" Sandy at the front desk, not only was incredible polite and kind, but she got me into one of their only available rooms within minutes. The staff at breakfast were also very kind, and the room was nothing spectacular but very clean.

The lady at the front Jessie was amazing she took the time to get to know my kids every morning at breakfast would ask them where we are going for the day and would give us tips for fun things to do when we would get back she would ask what we did and how much fun we had on our last morning my daughter didn't want to leave so Jessie took a card and wrote employee #1 on the card and out it on her chest while we were eating breakfast they did cleaning inspections and made my daughter's day over all a great experience and great time Jessie is the best employee y'all have

Hotel property is conveniently located near the interstate. This is also an affluent area of Fort Wayne. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful. The breakfast that they serve has many options and is very good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, water pressure is good and temperature is just right. Beds and linen are clean and comfortable. I will definitely make a point to stay here again.

"Clean rooms, but..."

We originally booked this hotel for just Friday night, but shortly before we arrived, we decided we'd stay Saturday night as well if they had any rooms available. When I asked the lady at check-in, which was at 10:30 PM, if we could stay another night, she said she'd have to check and would call me in 20 minutes in my room. After waiting 45 minutes I called back since she never called, and she said it would be fine for us to stay, but the room price would be more. I asked her what the price would be, and she said she'd have to check and would call me back in 5 minutes. In the meantime, I went on their website to see if I could just book Saturday night online, and I could. The website price showed $129.99, which is what I paid for Friday night. After 15 minutes, the lady still had not called back, so I called her. She said she could not give me a price, but wanted me to know that it would be higher. I quickly told her that I had their website pulled up and the price was exactly what I had paid for the first night. After a pause, she said that I could just pay that amount and that she was very busy at that moment. Really? At almost midnight? Our room was clean. The lobby was not. There were smashed Goldfish crackers on the steps the entire weekend. The breakfast was mediocre. Sausage had a weird taste. If in Fort Wayne again, I would definitely look for a different hotel.

Front desk was extremely helpful and nice. Breakfast had a wide variety of hot and cold foods. My only complaint is the blanket on the bed. It was quite thin. True, I could have asked for more covers, but I didn't. Easy access to 69 and a nice variety of restaurants and grocery within walking distance.

We stayed here during the Vera Bradley blowout sale and the staff was very helpful. They were offering coupons for restaurants and for the Vera sale. They were accommodating with directions, extra towels etc. The room was clean and while I personally prefer the bathroom to be all enclosed, I found it to be clean as well. The breakfast in the morning was great! I would stay there again.

I was here with my daughter for a basketball tournament. Check in was slow, as someone ahead of me had an issue with their reservation. Huh? Seems to be a recurring theme based on other reviews for this hotel? Room smelled clean, furniture seemed newer, and beds were comfortable. Sheets were worn, and towels were very thin, and some even had holes in them. Bathroom fixtures were older, and sink was hard to turn on. Shower pressure was not good at all. I have to go back next month for another tournament, and I don't feel compelled to stay here again. Most likely, I will look at other hotels in the area.

We stop here after the long drive from Las Vegas. We just pick it randomly and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The staff was great, the room was clean and had both a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast in the morning was one of the best complimentary breakfasts we've had in a hotel. The coffee was good and we are picky about our coffee. Price was decent for a Friday without a reservation. We recommend this one.

This hotel is one of the best for highway location, outstanding staff with friendly, professional, can't do enough for you help. I travelled 2000 miles, heading for Ontario Canada, and upon arrival, I was treated like family. The manager, Anthony, found a massage spa for me because I was so.o sore. They offer FREE long distance calling, helped me move things from my room , because of my physical limitations, and everyone made me feel like family . The rooms were very clean, bright and reasonable. It is a place to stay and to feel like home.

This is a very good hotel right off the interstate and next to an abundance of restaurants, service stations and a Wells Fargo bank. Staff are warm, welcoming and eager to be of assistance. I'd also recommend the nearby Applebee's restaurant.

The only reasons I can't rate this higher has nothing to do with the customer service. Everyone I came into contact with was wonderful, even at check-in, Anthony was very friendly & all smiles, I even forgot my toothbrush & toothpaste & had to re-visit him later, the front desk area was wonderful, the free breakfast was perfect! However, my shower was cold & when I turned the water on a dark brown, blah, came out before the water would start running clear. I didn't say something until the second night I stayed & Staci was more than willing to move me to a new room, like I said, great customer service! There was just nasty corners everywhere, dark gunk, my furnace had a loud bang that would scare me in the middle of the night, I had a stain on my sheets that made me feel like maybe it wasn't a stain, but something left over from the last person. And although they put us in an Executive Suite, the only thing executive was the bed size & room size...desk was small, shower was horrible, nothing special. But customer service & location was wonderful!

This motel is very accmodating and close to shopping and some of the factories. The staff was very helpful and reconising the rewards member of the Best Western rewards program.The motel has a full breakfast , and will be a great place to stay in the Fort Wayne area.

The desk attendant was very pleasant. She made a point of going over details, such as the free breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. I don't recall any noise that was annoying or interrupted my sleep. I do have one complaint and/or request. The washcloths and towels were rough, coarse, and uncomfortable to use. I highly recommend the Best Western Luxbury Inn. best value for the dollar spent!! Great staff - extremely friendly! The remodel of the entry way and the breakfast area is terrific. Great location. Close to alot of good restaurants.

We were in Fort Wayne for a tennis tournament and enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was good, housekeeping very good, beds comfortable and common areas well kept. However what made the place stand out was the friendly and very helpful staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Anthony and Terrence both offered assistance and advice when needed and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Fort Wayne. It has been a while since I felt the staff at a hotel was genuinely interested in making my stay enjoyable. Thanks.

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to help make this a great place to stay. The evening desk was managed by Anthony. He was outgoing and made suggestions of places to eat. When I mentioned that the beds were very high (I'm 5 feet tall), he provided a stool to make getting into bed easier for me. He called the restaurant where our group planned to eat and arranged for them to have a large table ready for us. The front office manager, Shanda printed off maps with detailed directions to the places we needed to go. I would highly recommend this hotel.

One of the best 'Best Westerns' we have visited. Excellent fitness centre, breakfast, and attentive staff. Most important, this was Pet Friendly - with lots of grassy areas in shopping/business park nearby as a bonus.

The vast majority of major hotel chains have bathrooms that are wide enough to get a wheelchair into so I don't always reserve a special room as it is often a hassle and not listed on TripAdisor so a call is required. These rooms are not that way and bathroom door is very narrow. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was average. Room was clean and quiet. They did move us to first floor so public restroom would be closer. Will know to call and not use Tripadvisor next time.

Our accommodations as always were great and we will continue to stop here every time we pass thru Fort Wayne on our way home from Arizona.

The front desk employees really care about your comfort and experience at this hotel in Ft Wayne, IN. We arrived late in the evening at 1015pm. Most of our party went up to the room where I had requested extra pillows for positioning. Everything was perfect. I had even called just 20 minutes before our arrival to request a hide a bed for our daughter. It was in the room as promised. The front desk night attendant, Dominique, was phenomenal. She handled all our requests and questions in an exceptional and courteous manner. She was witty, upbeat and very responsive to our requests. She genuinely cares for you as a customer and went out of her way several times to ensure we had a one of a kind stay at your hotel. Dominique's attention to detail and compassion for our exhausted parents and daughter was evident by all her efforts to "make things perfect". Also, I could not sleep that night and so I went to the lobby to read. She came over to ensure I was alright, sat with me and chatted about what I was reading and then excused herself to complete her other duties and responsibilities. Dominique then continued to check on me periodically for the next 2 hours that I was in the lobby. Employees as wonderful as Dominique come along very few times in a manager or director's career. Hang on to her, praise her and remember to thank her for all she does. She is a genuine asset to your company. Anthony was also a wonderful person to interact with. I had left my pillow in the room and he called me personally and offered to mail it to us so we wouldn't have to stop in again and interrupt our day. When I arrived to pick it up it was fluffed up and handed to me with a smile and a wish that we all had a great day. Such a warm and friendly staff you have here at this hotel. We were very satisfied and will return frequently to stay after all my daughter's collegiant track events!

I travel frequently for business and I believe that this is the best hotel that I have found in my travels for the value. I would highly recommend the Best Western Luxbury! Great owners and great employees. They go out of their way to make their guests comfortable. Great location - good restaurants very close. Easy on and off from hotel.

Snow was falling on the roadways and it looked like we needed to stop on our way home from a week-end trip. We registered for a hotel room (on hotels.com) but when we arrived, the desk did not have a record of our reservation! Mr. Terrance Woods was at the desk and agreed to work out a room for us even though the reservation had not come through (after we had received confirmation an hour or so earlier!) Our room was great, we got settled.....and then he worked with the .com group when that reservation FINALLY came through. A cozy room during the snow and a good breakfast before we headed on our way Monday morning.

It has been remodeled and is very nice place to stay. We were welcomed at the front desk by Anthony and he went above and beyond to make sure we were satified with our stay. It was Supper Bowl Sunday and they served pizza and cookies. I would stay again. Anothony was a very upbeat person and had a great smile to great you. I would stay again. Pleasant one night stay at Best Western in Fort Wayne -- clean room with comfortable king size bed, friendly staff who was very welcoming. Toilet seat was broken, but reported with promise of repair. Breakfast was much better than other hotels offer Biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereals waffles etc.. good variety of items to eat.

My wife and I stayed for one night on our way south to visit family. Our room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom could use some updating. The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone could not have been friendlier, more helpful or more professional. We both travel quite a bit for work and have stayed at a wide variety of lodgings. I have never encountered a team that was this friendly and worked so hard to make us feel valued and at home. Terrence gave us a great recommendation for dinner (Tavern at Coventry). Very impressed.

My experience at BW in Fort Wayne has been great. I have been staying there every time that I go through FW for the past 4 years. Dev, his wife, and Terrance have always been polite and helpful. Great to be around. The entrance has just been remodeled and looks great. The rooms are always clean and well kept. I would never be afraid to recommend this hotel to anyone when you are traveling through Fort Wayne.

Such courteous service especially from Terrence at the front desk. Stayed here while husband was in Lutheran Hospital and after a long day with him it was so convenient to not have an hour's drive home in bad weather. Quiet comfortable and so convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area Close to restaurants grocery stores and drug stores. Everything so handy and the hospital is right across the highway. Would definitely stay again

First off, it was football playoff Sunday and Terrance who was working at the front desk was super friendly. He small talked with us about football and the hotel was broadcasting the game in the lobby along with offering popcorn. I thought that was really neat. As my husband and I settled in our room, we had everything we needed and the room was clean. My only concern was the thin walls and the very noisy neighbors. I'm sure if we would have been overly bothered by that, Terrance would have taken care of it. I also wanted an extra blanket for the bed and Terrance was happy to provide. We will definitely be staying here again!

We were in town five nights for a funeral, and found this location to be convenient for our needs, as well as close to shopping, restaurants, and the Lutheran Medical complex. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious, but the bed was too firm for my liking, so I was glad there was a recliner for my occasional use. Breakfast consisted of eggs, meat, waffles, breads, and cereals, and in the evenings cookies and popcorn were usually available. The best part of our stay was meeting the incredible staff; all exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the front desk host, Terrence Woods. It was nice to have such a sincere welcome and top-notch service each day.

the staff at this hotel are wonderful. The hot breakfast buffet and the fact that they advertise free snacks in the afternoon was not. We waiting forever for refills which made us late, so we didn't get to finish breakfast. The "popcorn, cookies, lemonade, and tea" was not true. They only served popcorn only and it tasted old.

I stayed four nights and found the Best Western staff to be friendly and welcoming. The room itself was average as to cleanliness with some wear evident but nicely appointed. There was water damage to a shower wall that was most evident but did not deter my stay. The low flow shower head was distracting. The breakfast was most generous and well presented.

Excellent choice for us. Check in was easy and accommodation made for our truck and travel trailer to be parked close to the entry way...nice as the weather was not very nice! Terrance checked us in and was extremely helpful, even pointing us in the right direction for a great meal (and cold IPA) at a local pub within easy walking distance. We will stay here again on our travels through the area.

Everything was quite nice about this hotel as a one-night stop on our journey, but what impressed us most was Nikki Kaur, front office supervisor. This has been a non-smoking hotel for several years, and when we entered our room it was clear someone had been smoking in there. We mentioned it at the desk, mostly so they wouldn't think it was us and charge us a cleaning fee, and right away Nikki apologized and not only changed our room right away, she gave us a complimentary upgrade as they had a suite available. We were very impressed with this level of customer service, as we have stayed in other hotels that have a smokey smell, and all we got was a cursory apology.

First, desk clerk Terrance was outstanding: engaged; proactive; friendly without smothering; responsive; fast and efficient; he is dedicated to his job. I would give him 10/10. The hotel room was very comfortable and looked and smelled good. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The pillows are a effective mix of soft and firm. However, they are a bit overstuffed for my neck. I looked for and found NO bugs. The breakfast was a notch above most breakfasts I have had at hotels. The juice machines were on at night, too! Lobby looked inviting and comfortable. Business room computers were fast.

The best part of my stay here was the staff. Everyone was very pleasant, and Terrance was especially helpful. Although the room I was first given a key to wasn't ready, when I went back to the desk, Terrance immediately got me another room and checked to see that it was up to snuff. He advised checking online about a recall when my car key broke (my second one broken), and I found that it was a common problem with this key. He helped me out with my luggage when I left. Couldn't ask for better attention. One thing that would improve the motel is thicker walls or better sound-proofing. I did not enjoy being awakened by the television used as an alarm clock in the adjoining room--at 4:30 A.M. Would I come back again? Absolutely.

This hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, people where helpful. The main lobby area was quite nice and trendy. The breakfast area was roomy, comfortable, and full of options including: fruits, bread, waffle maker, juice, coffee, and cereals. There was a good sized fridge and microwave in the room.

Presentation of breakfast = A+, taste = F Looks like they poured all their money into the lobby and forgot everything else. The pillows on the bed were maybe 2ft by 2ft. Like sofa cushions and very uncomfortable. The rooms need updating so badly I don't know where to start... from the bathrooms to the rock hard bed, to the wall unit A/C. TVs were new. IF you like TV and fancy lobbies, stay here. If anything else matters, go somewhere else.

Great location, close to airport (only one exit away), restaurants (Outback, Applebee's, and other local ones), movie theater, and grocery store (this Kroger store is huge). Compared to the hotel next door, this hotel is much cleaner and staff are friendlier.

Since this hotel is not as visible from the highway as others, we stopped at another first and found that all neighboring hotels were full except this one. We were so glad! From the minute we entered the building late in the evening, our host on duty "Terrance" made us feel welcome, even though he was juggling another customer plus a phone call. He handled all three efficiently and with a smile on his face. I can't count how many times during our visit he asked if there was anything we needed. He was just as energetic and helpful the next morning and seemed to really enjoy his work. (My husband even commented that he would hire this guy in a minute to work for him!) The breakfast staff was great too. The common areas are lovely and appear to be recently remodeled. The rooms have not been updated in awhile but were fine. We will be back!

This is an excellent hotel/motel. Probably one of the best in the Best Western "fleet". You get exactly what you pay for and more. Very pet friendly which is greatly appreciated. I stay here twice a year when I travel to Canada and on my way back to California. I have never been disappointed with the service.

The hotel has made such massive improvements. It is quite beautiful and inviting. The breakfast room is comfortable. You can enjoy a nice breakfast while watching the news. Relaxing. I have stayed at this hotel for many years when I come to Ft Wayne and I am just amazed at how beautiful it looks. My room was comfortable and quiet. The service was wonderful. The Front Desk Staff was efficient. They had my reservation and it took only minutes to check in.

Wonderful facility, I believe they were newly remodel. Front desk staff is awesome (Nikki's the best). Had a little trouble with tv cable network in the beginning but that was resolved. The place is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great hotel recommend it to all.

Nikki is the best front desk person to deal. I have been staying at this location for almost a year now. I stay 2 nights a week for my work trip every week. The rooms are nice and very clean. They offer a variety of choices at breakfast. Great location with a lot of restaurants in the surrounding plaza. Definitely worth checking out. John H.

After a long drive, we landed in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We lucked out with Terrance at the counter at the BW. He did the paperwork while we gathered our luggage, gave us a great room at a great price, coupons for local restaurants, and checked in after we were settled to make sure we were alright. Unbeknownst to us, we had left one bag out by our vehicle. BW employees found it, by its location thought it was ours, and called us to let us know...we're very grateful--it would've been a terrible loss. We tried to tip Terrance--he wouldn't accept it--our satisfaction with the hotel/service was enough! TTerrance

My room was quiet and comfortable; the hotel is fairly new and is very clean. The location is very convenient - walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The traffic pattern getting to I-69/Jefferson Blvd is a bit tricky, but it is quite close. If the rate is competitive, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
