Front desk staff person was checking in a client who did not have a reservation and he seemed to be struggling with the procedure, so much so, that I was in line at the desk for over 20 minutes waiting for my turn. He took almost as long with me, even though I was prepaid and pre booked. Hot tub and pool were closed when we arrived. This hotel is in a business area, so we had to drive off site for a restaurant, there are several near by. Room was okay, breakfast was the standard fare, nothing outrageous and nothing phenomenal.
The room was clean and the water was HOT and the pressure was good. Toilets are flimsy, water pressure for toilet not good and they are very short! Breakfast wasn't the best. No fresh fruit. Front desk for the most part not friendly except for one young man whose name I didn't get. He was great. Bed was soft. Only pillows offered were what I call chicklet pillows. Small and square. Cooling in room was satisfactory. NOTE TO SELF: Get a west facing room away from elevator! The room does not stay dark once the sun rises and it's always sunny in Colorado in the am! People at the elevator were not considerate that there was someone in the room across from the elevator.
I paid $120 to listen to a violent screaming man berate and abuse his girlfriend all night. I asked for help several times. The staff didn't take it seriously. The man told them that he was alone and that it wasn't him and they believed him. I didn't get any rest and didn't feel safe as a woman at this hotel. I will no longer stay at this location and I stay at hotels every week for work travel in this area. Paper thin walls. Small rooms. Poor cleanliness. All around terrible.
TV didn't work. No phone in room-in emergency so you have to wait for the one night clerk to knock on the door? Bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way. Holes in bottom sheet. Clerk gave us another room. TV didn't work in that room either.
Clean hotel with nice staff. Breakfast was good, Hot and clean. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. The pillows were uncomfortable tho. Staff was nice and accommodating. Incredibly pet friendly hotel. Was traveling with my Belgian Mal and had no issues with his breed being restricted for insurance reasons.
Comfortable room, nice selection of breakfast items, cereals, eggs, waffles and toppings for waffles. Located off freeway and area shopping, lowest price gas around and restaurants within driving distance.
This establishment is showing its age, but it was clean and the staffers were pleasant. The area around has grown so much that we no longer want to stay there. We noticed that at least two clocks had not been set back to the correct time and the lighting in our room was very poor.
Stopped while traveling without a reservation and was able to get a room as a BW member. The front desk young lady was fantastic and super friendly. I was very pleased to find this on our route home as it was in a convenient, secure location in town. The room was clean and quiet and appreciate the breakfast offering of pre-wrapped pastries to grab and take on the road. Highly recommend!
We booked this hotel on our Colorado road trip specifically to visit friends in the area and we arrived on Friday on our way down from Grand Lake. We'd had an early start to get through the National Park before it got too hot, and arrived at precisely 2pm, hoping to drop our bags and head out to see friends as soon as possible. The cool lobby provided a welcome relief from the heat, but sadly that's where 'welcoming' ended. There were two men at the reception desk to greet us, and we were informed by the younger of the two that check in was at 3pm and we couldn't check in. Now, I fully appreciate that this is hotel policy, rooms may indeed not yet be ready, but I have never, ever experienced such pedantic, stringent following of this rule in 30+ years of travelling. The younger man then disappeared (never to be seen again) whilst we sat for 60 minutes in reception. To be fair, after 40 minutes the older gentleman did point to out to us where we could get a drink. But not once was there a phonecall made to or from housekeeping confirming the readiness of any rooms and at 3.00 precisely we were permitted to start the check in process. Poor service seemed to be the main feature of the entire hotel. Breakfast was a fiasco. It was open from 6 - 9am. By 8am, there was virtually nothing left - a few slices of bread, a solitary yoghurt - to be shared by a full dining room. By 8.30 most people had left the room (probably hungry!) No member of staff appeared until 8.50 when they restocked a few items - only to clear them all away 10 minutes later. Reception was NEVER manned when we entered or left the hotel, though there was sometimes a sign informing us that they were 'Away from the desk - Call this number for assistance'. No security - anyone could walk into the hotel at any time - it felt very unsafe. I have nothing positive to write about this hotel. Except the soap bar - that was one of those nice massage bars of soap. On check out we simply put our room key on the empty Reception counter as we walked out - at 11.00 exactly, not one minute earlier. I have stayed at (and reviewed) several hotels associated with the Best Western chain, all of which have been super. I am sure that they would be horrified to be linked with this establishment.
Stayed here four nights so we could do some trail running in Boulder and visit RMNP. Great stay, enjoyed the breakfast, clean and comfy rooms. We also popped into the nearby town and had a lot of luck at the thrift shops! Overall, very happy with the experience and it was so much more affordable than staying up in Estes Park. The drive to Estes/RMNP was quite lovely.
Typical Best Western. Clean, comfortable rooms, helpful staff. Several eateries nearby. Convenient access to I 25. Breakfast was good, varied and prepared on time. While the motel was near I 25, it was quiet.
If you have a special request, stay somewhere else. This hotel is getting outdated. The rooms are OK but the beds are hard and there are no USB outlets to charge your devices. The pool was good and breakfast was better than average. I specifically requested connecting rooms and was assured on 3 separate phone calls that the rooms were connecting including a call 4 days before we checked in. When we arrived none of the room were connecting and they did not have any available. I stayed here and wasted 28,000 points per night, per room specifically because they said they would have connecting rooms saved for me. One of the other hotels in the parking lot would have been a better choice. One of the rooms had a roof leak and they were able to give us another room which is why they get 2 stars for service instead of one.
We are fortune to be able to travel quite a bit. Sometimes the attention to detail probably goes unnoticed. without a list, I would say those things make a stay more friendly and are barely noticate. This property does it well.
We have been using this hotel for over 10 years due to its convenience and location to our rental home. This year, we had to cancel our reservation due to being stuck in an effing Wyoming blizzard. We called prior to 6pm on the day of our reservation, asked for some leniency on the cancellation policy due to circumstances out of our control, and was told that the manager would be calling us the next day. Never heard from anyone, and as we were fighting the same blizzard, we did not take time to remind the manager of the call. But, sure as hell, here came the charge on our CC. You have lost a customer forever due to your stupid laziness and failure to follow up. Buh-Bye!
Abelina (housekeeping) and Christian at the front desk are solid gold. Pleasant, positive and professional. My room was sparkling clean. Also, you have a novel new idea at this property. Mainly when you set the thermostat at 72 you GET 72. If you turn up to 74, you GET 74. And it does it's job QUIETLY. Hot shower too. Breakfast, as usual, was the first class chow I have come to expect from BW. Tasty and hot. I have one suggestion for you. Old guys, like me, find nothing on basic cable we wanna watch. You need to offer a switch that would let us switch the TV to free broadcast (via rabbit ear antenna) so we can watch the old westerns and cops and robbers shows.
I normally do not take the effort to write a review on a hotel, not when it is good nor when it is bad. But this one took the cake. Let's first start with the good as there was some good. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and nice and should be commended for that. That was the only good. The hotel room was spacious but smelled very chemically. The desk chair was broken. There was NO HOT WATER in the morning so NO WARM SHOWER. Reception only could confirm they called a technician but did not offer an apology, discount or refund. The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbour cough. Cushions were minimal (3 small ones on a king size bed). And the overhead canopy on the hotel is barred off with posts so no one can drive under it. If you have to load up your vehicle in the rain or snow, you will have to do it in the snow like we had to next to the overhead canopy. Breakfast was poor. Will never make an overnight stop there again. Hope this will help others avoid the experience my wife and I had.
Nice Hotel. Front staff at check-in and check-out very nice and quick. Elevator quit working. Smell of cannabis in the back entrance stairwell. Smokers congregated at the from entrance. Breakfast was OK eggs were not very hot.
Excellent breakfast. Coffee available all day. The whole hotel was extremely clean. Beds and ac comfortable. Hot water and good pressure. Only disappointment was the pool and hot tub were closed due to fire sprinkler issues. Definitely will go back.
It was horrible, the pool and spa were down for unknown reasons, the room looked like it had never been dusted, the a/c unit couldn't keep a steady temp, either way too hot or way too cold, water pressure (or lack of) was basically a trickle, and to top it off they evacuated the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms (which I was on) the 3rd night I was there for unknown reasons and sent us to a different hotel
Exceedingly clean and fresh warm and cozy establishment with exceedingly friendly professional customer service and accommodations. A diamond in the dusk find. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any and everyone needing and considering a place to stay in the area.
False Advertising of room with walk-in shower for handicap accessible. Best Western corporate office booked us over the phone and we BOTH selected this ADVERTISED walk-in shower!!! When we arrived we were told that the hotel did NOT have this type of room!!!! When we called Best Western Corporate they were NOT happy about this situation!!!
The building is fairly new, modern, and well maintained from the parking lot to your room. It's quiet though it's close to I-90. It has a fast food and restaurant literally right next door or across the street.
We stayed here for 3 nights. Check in and out was easy. The room was clean and standard. My husband complained the pillows were flat, so after the first night, we ran to the store and bought our own- problem solved. There was an indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub wasn't very hot or bubbly, so it was more like a soaking tub. The breakfast every morning was good- eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits or potatoes, waffles, cereal, coffee, juice, muffins. The lady working the breakfast was very friendly and helpful! We liked the location, not in Denver, but close to everything we were doing in the area.
The rooms and all facilities were clean and we'll maintained. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was nice and offered a good variety. Work out facilities were adequate and we'll maintained
Deadbolt to room didn't lock. It wasn't lined up correctly with frame. Pillows and bed very lumpy. The mattress itself was old and seemed to have a pad over it in an effort to make it more comfortable. Didn't work. Eggs very salty and inedible. Otherwise, waffles were delicious. Very limited breakfast items. Business center closed without explanation. Treated like a nuisance although platinum member. Shady practices. Was told the lights would turn out promptly at 10pm, so I needed to get out of the pool. On checkout day after I requested late checkout as a Platinum member, someone knocked and my mother told them I was finishing my shower and would be out of room in a couple minutes. I was called shortly after on room phone and told a plumber was going to turn the water off to my room. Seemed like a strange and shady tactic to get me out of the room. A few days later, I noticed I was charged $100. Spoke to manager Monika and she claimed it was for "extra cleanup" although I took the time to bag all trash for housekeeping. All that was left on the floor was a few pieces of dry cereal from my toddler which would take three seconds to vacuum. I was aware they didn't have stayover service, so I wanted to make cleaning as easy as possible. I work in the hospitality industry and respect housekeeping. I would never leave a mess. Manager Monika has been dodging me for two weeks and not refunding the charge or really discussing it. Claims she will get back to me and never does. I used 60,000 points ($6,000 spent to earn) for my stay and this treatment is absolutely unacceptable. I am leaving this review in hopes that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Look at your credit card statement to ensure you haven't been charged extra!!
This hotel is just a few miles outside Denver proper, and minutes from I25, yet it is so quiet. My bed was very comfortable and the room was clean--even the corners of the floor in the bathroom! Hot breakfast is served buffet style. The desk clerks were pleasant and helpful. the rates were great for being so close to Denver.
Hotel was fine but beware if using points to pay for room. I was charged $67.90 for two nights that were supposed to be paid for. Not good. I called the front desk upon returning home but was told this is customary by city or state to charge additional fees.
Hotel was clean with an easy check-in and out. Only problem was desk chair hydraulics did not work. (Not a deal breaker) Easy fast food in walking range. Easy access to Interstate/roads. We will stay at the hotel on another stay.
My stay at best western in del Camino was relaxing nice and quiet getaway the breakfast was awesome for being a hotel the staff was nice and helpful and nice clean rooms thank you very much I will be recommending to friends collegues
I hate giving out less than perfect reviews about Best Western properties, but the particular room we stayed in #221 had the worst bed ever. It had no cushion and it crinkled when we sat on it like it was stuffed with newspapers. We were already stressed out from being evacuated from the Marshal fire, like others that were there, and we needed the rest. The TV and the remote di not work well together and we needed to follow the news about our town, and whether we would have a home to go back to (Yes, thank God).
We stayed 5days there always great people at this motel friendly and professional clean we've stayed there a few time there always great super clean exercises room very clean the pool area always clean
We got to our room and the smell was horrible. Room was not clean at all, still have trash, fridge with consumed drinks. When we complained, we got moved to a different room and that room was a little better but still not clean. The receptionist told us “this room i cant guarantee its 100% clean”. How is that acceptable?! Dont waste your money and find somewhere else to stay!
Mike the manager was exceptional on service and quality. He did everything he could to help us when he was there. Amy, Raquel, Andrew, and Josh all did their best to try and rectify each problem in a pandemic. They were great employees and Mike should be proud of the team. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the PERFUME ODOR drove us away.
If it wasn't for Michael at the front desk, it would have received an even lower score. We had 2 bath towels, 1 pillow, and no soap for 4 people. There were no pool towels for any of the 3 days we were there. I kept having to go back and ask him for things and felt awful doing it since he was already so busy. He apologized numerous times and did his best to gather everything we were short on. I think I more housekeeping staff would be helpful. Also, none of the outside doors locked, so anybody could come and go as they pleased, which made me a little nervous. Over all, I would not stay here again for the price we paid.
Pool too cold to swim in. Hot tub dangerously hot. Both reported, neither fixed. Smoking area at front door with guests or staff smoking every time walked through the area. Internet would not stay connected. Beds and pillows extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was terrible. Eggs were sitting in water.
The gal at front desk was no where to be found. A housekeeper was kind enough to help us and located her. Not professionally dressed at all, spaghetti strap top (no bra) and jeans. We were there to visit family. The pool and hot tub were not filled. Other Hotels in the area had theirs ready. This is an amenity that I use and count on using after a long day of driving. Very Disappointed!
Good Best Western. Covid precautions good. Towels and extras were easily accessible from front desk. Hotel was clean and convenient. Nice smoking area out front for those of us who still enjoy an evening smoke.
Was working in the area and stayed here for a week. The hotel is very clean and everyone was professional and friendly. Beds were comfortable and wifi worked perfectly the whole time. Would definitely recommend.
We had to leave at 1:30 in the morning and find another motel because the staff were having an underage drinking party. The police where there all night raiding the place. People vomiting and using drugs
I love this location for its seclusion and quiet surroundings. It's clean and beautifully decorated, with a lot of amenities on-site as well as in the rooms themselves. There is a level of privacy here that you don't get many places... including home.
Breakfast was not very good. The pool was not working and we were told we could swim in it at our own risk with no filtration system. Rooms were clean, many of my traveling friends had issues with plumbing and noisy heating systems but my room was ok. The beds were not very comfortable either unless you like them very firm.
The staff was very helpful especially with our very late check in. Very clean and quiet. Everything seemed to be well maintained. They also have a full breakfast with plenty of options. Close to shopping as well. Will definitely stay here again!
I was traveling for business, so the location was great as the hotel was near the interstate. The staff were friendly, professional and responsive to my needs. The amenities were great and I enjoyed the privacy.
I don't know where to start here... I chose this hotel for the fitness room and guest laundry. Front desk clerk said they don't place wipes in the gym because the housekeeping cleans the gym daily. Treadmill works great if you want to walk, but it stops every tenth of a mile if you run. I went to the front desk for quarters and soap to do laundry, but they don't have soap. I pointed out the sign stating soap available at the front desk. The clerk told me "we don't have soap, only laundry detergent in pods". Some people have no business in customer service.
I stayed here for 3 nights. It was clean, smelled nice, comfortable beds, good breakfast in the morning. The hotel is easy to find right off the interstate. Excellent front staff very friendly and helpful. Gave excellent directions to go out for dinner and to where my meeting was. I would recommend this location hands down.
The staff is super helpful and answered all my questions about local eateries and places to go see. I also enjoyed having a few different options to chose from every morning for breakfast. I really enjoyed my two weeks here. I'll be back for sure.
We chose this hotel for our first Colorado stop on our way to Rocky Mtn. National Park. The room was very good, the breakfast was good, the customer service by staff was very pleasant. We feel like the price was good. We found out later that a family member that regularly travels this section of highway always stays here because they like it that well! We would stay there again if the opportunity arises.
The hotel stay was short but I only can answer about the front desk person that works nights. I didn't catch her name but she is a very nice young Hispanic woman. She was very helpful and kind. It always makes a stay nicer to have a pleasant person to work with. Thank you.
We stayed at the BW Firestone Inn for the first night of our 3 week trip up to Yellowstone & the Black Hills as it was a suitable distance from the airport en route to Estes Park the following day. The hotel was excellently located with a pool that we used twice and good breakfast and accommodation. Thank you.
Good visit, they were cordial, check in was easy, the room was clean, and breakfast was good. No problems, convenient to restaurants, gas stations, and the interstate. I'll probably stay there again. No problems.
Starting with the exceptional front office staff (Cynthia), this hotel exceeded expectations. The price was great, everything was clean, easy to get to, great location, safe environment. The only complaint I have was that the treadmill in the fitness room didn't work but oh well, who wants to exercise on vacation anyway, right? I didn't even bother reporting it because they had other equipment that I was able to use instead.
5 night stay with a friend. Loved the pool. Breakfast every morning after waking up in a good bed a plus. Cynthia at the front desk was always so pleasant and helpful. Nice to be greeted with a smile every time I was in the lobby.
I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I must recommend this Best Western. Easy access from the interstate, pleasant lobby area, room very clean and a comfortable bed (a little more on the firm side, which I prefer). Pleasant front desk staff. We were especially impressed with the heating and cooling system - usually a drawback in most hotel rooms. So very easy to regulate and make comfortable. An overall wonderful stay.
I stayed here many times over the years, but wasn't until my stay in July/August 2018 that i payed attention! The staff was very professional and kind! Their facility at that time was very nice and clean! I just stayed again last week and they remembered me and my little service dog and greeted us like celebrities! It seemed like they have been going the extra mile to improve in all areas, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
This hotel is one of the cleanest Best Westerns I have ever stayed at. The staff is very efficient and hard working. The swimming pool and hot tub is also very clean and relaxing. The bed is comfortable and not worn out. The location is easily assessable to the interstate and plenty of places to get something to eat . The parking lot is well lit up at night and had no problems security wise . The staff was wonderful and would highly recommend .
Right off highway. Great staff (friendly, willing to help If needed). Easy check in/out. Breakfast was standard. Location lacked assortment of dinner options, but if passing through, would recommend this over the others at this exit.
The stay was really nice. The atmosphere was great also, the only part that was a bit disappointing was the so called fitness center. I do not believe that a treadmill and stair climber in a small room should be called a fitness center. Other than this I felt it was a great visit. I always do the checks for bugs and cleanliness of the room before I get comfortable. I did not find anything and it was very clean and the rooms were really nice along with the bathrooms.
Good for a comfortable stay. Nice breakfast and kind staff. However, hot water is luke warm and the guest rooms could use some updates. A week after checkout, my payment went through, but still have an additional hold on my credit card for the full amount again.
I've visit the Best Western 3 months ago and I hadn't post my experience yet. I loved this property, I'm a Best Western guest for many years. I would like to share my feedback regarding the staff and amenties, very well managed!
A tiny hiccup occurred on arrival-my assigned room hadn't been cleaned. Front desk handled well, and another room was available. Appreciated the elevator. Everything else as expected. I appreciated the comfortable place after driving through Denver at rush hour!
Jerry and Jasmine were amazing there were so helpful, kind always smiling ready to help greeted us every day with a smile. I would recommend this place just because of them. I needed milk for the baby it was late at night and they got us some didn't even hesitate. The air was ok could use maybe a tune up.
We made our reservation based on the rating from Hotels.com. However the room was not what we expected. The bed was uncomfortable and the airconditioner was noisy with a rattle. There was an odor in the non smoking room, kind of musty or maybe someone had smoked in the room? The furniture had a stickiness to the touch. The room(s) need to be updated. We booked our room for 5 nights, but check out after on sleepless night and went to another hotel in the area. We are still waitig for confirmation of our refund through Hotels.com.
I stay at this hotel on a recurring basis monthly. The hotel and staff are truly amazing. Kudos to Flor, Cinthia, and Jerry for all they do to take care of me and my family. Always greet with smiles, take care of all requests quickly, and really make you feel like home. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to stay at a location that cares so much about it's customers. Thank you!
My experience staing at this hotel was great! We arrieved earlier than we expected and the hotel staff was awesome, very accomodating. The rooms are fairly large and very clean. We were not able to take advantage of the complemantary breakfast they offer but heard from other friends who were also staying there that it was pretty good.
The room was clean. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was ok, but the locally sourced salsa was delicious! It changed daily wand the four different ones we had were awesome. (The salsa was some of the BEST food IN Firestone. ) The room AC worked well. We got our room down to 61. The curtains were dark. Easy to sleep in. TV had a good selection of channels including premium movie channels (hbo, etc). Would stay here again.
This was a really great stay, all the staff members are great. There is nothing bad about this great little hotel. The staff always stands up and greets you whether you're coming or going, and it feels like a home away from home.
I've stayed here many times over the years since it was built. Always a very professional and friendly staff along with a clean hotel and rooms. Quiet and peaceful is how I would rate my stay. The mattress in my room seemed to be nearing the end of its life, but I'm sure in due time it will be taken care of as the owners have taken great care of this place over the years
I'd describe the hotel as being of average quality. The room was clean, the Wifi worked well, as did the TV. There was one overhead light in the entrance area to the room that flickered the whole time, so we just left it turned off. There was a working thermostat in the room, and although the heater was a bit noisy, it worked fine. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too thick to suit me. The breakfast room was the sort of thing that has become standard at mid-level hotels these days: a waffle maker, a tray of scrambled eggs and some sausage. Styrofoam plates & plastic forks.
Flor and her staff do an unbelievable job at making you feel at home. She even makes her own chili verde, which is delicious. I stay here very often because of the service regardless of my commute distance to my business ventures. Highly recommend staying here!
Best Western Firestone Colorado is a great place to stay. It has easy access to the interstate and is close to food, gas, shopping & attractions. The rooms are clean & modern. The staff is friendly, attentive & professional. If there is a problem, it is resolved quickly.
Very good for the price paid. Small inconveniences, but overall, very clean and friendly staff. Fitness room could use an upgrade, there are no weights or mats or equipment other than a single treadmill, single stairclimber and a single bicycle. It is small so it can't fit more than 3-4 people comfortable. Breakfast served was good and had a nice variety.
I have regularly stayed at Best Western Inn & Suites for several months on business. The rooms are very nicely appointed and very clean. The beds are comfortable & the staff is very accommodating to your needs. If there is a problem with the room, they make sure it is fixed as soon as possible. The General Manager (Flor) is always available and will work to resolve any problem. The other staff members are always very professional & courteous. I spend on average 4 nights a week away on business and always stay at the Best Western Firestone Inn & Suites. It is a great place to stay whether on vacation or work. It is very accessible from the interstate and close to a variety of restaurants and other services.
The manager and all of the staff are great. Room was great. it was awesome. Breakfast was so yummy and rooms are always very clean. The staff is incredible and know the definition of Hospitality. Location is super convinient. I love this BW its great.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly & very accommodating. The room was super clean. We will definitely stay here next time we are in town. We highly recommend this hotel. Great place!
This is an updated hotel with a great friendly staff. It is quiet, safe and clean. It is also close to the interstate with easy off and on. Best Western Firestone is within walking distance to several restaurants: Qdoba and Carl Jrs. You can not go wrong staying here.
good hotel for the price. I wanted the bed to be firmer. Most of the hotels we stayed at could of had firmer beds. Room was quiet despite being near the freeway. Good place to stay rather than stay in estes park
Nice clean room. Close to the interstate but nice and quiet. Right next to Carl's Jr. Which is great for breakfast. They also had continental breakfast looked good. All we had was the orange juice. Close to American Furniture Warehouse.
Reservation was easy as was check-in. The room was very nice. Air conditioner worked well, very comfortable bed. Free wifi and full breakfast. Shower and bathroom were clean and everything worked well. Overall a great hotel!
We stay at Best Westerns all the time when we travel. This one was fairly new and we found it to be a good value with clean rooms and comfortable. We loved the coffee dispenser because of the coffee strength options..
Hotel was nice and clean and would have been great accept for hot tub not working. The hotel staff was pleasant and professional. The breakfast guy was awesome. We were just disappointed that hot tub didn't work and were scared when lights went off in pool and it was so dark. It was really dangerous climbing out of the tub in the dark. There needs to be a better way of shutting down the pool rather than just turning lights off abruptly.
In for business and this was a great hotel to stay at, everything was perfect. Got a great room and the staff was super helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. A great hotel for a great rate, could not be more satisfied.
Excellent visit and exceptional stay. Everything was clean, fresh and the the staff professional.we will stay there on next trip. The location was ideal, close to restaurants and local activities. Easily accessible from Interstate.
The hotel was clean and smoke free and everything in room worked. The parking lot is a little small and the breakfast options are not huge but the waffles were good and the people were friendly. The cereal was stale so make sure you check before you pour milk on.
We stayed here several days while visiting family in the area. The hotel was clean and orderly and not a bad value these days. Longmont is a popular place to stay and rooms are expensive and hard to find. The rates here are lower than in Longmont itself while less than a ten minute drive away. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. Our room was neat and we received the extra towels we requested. We will stay here next visit.
The motel room and staff were excellent except the bathroom. First, the toilet was placed too close to the sink and vanity. Even my 5-foot 5-inch wife felt pressed up against the vanity while using the toilet. Second, there were small little ants crawling around the bathroom floor on the morning we checked out. My wife said she noticed a few the night before, but didn't tell me until the next morning.
Seems dated but there with some updates. Standard breakfast with scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon/sausage nothing special for the price. We've stayed in better places for less money. Beds were comfortable, towels and sheets were fine.
We have stayed at this hotel for several years over July 4th and always been very happy in the past. Service and staff has gone downhill and was noticeable in this stay (3 nights). Room was clean. Breakfast was not good (consisted mostly of frozen and other packaged items) and service at breakfast was lacking (hostess spent most of the time out in the lobby talking to the front desk). Nice pool area, but we were in there along with some other people we didn't know at 10 pm when it closed. Rather than someone coming and telling us the pool was closing, they just auto-turned off the lights in the pool area! People had to fumble around in the pitch dark to get out of the pool/hot tub and find towels!. A slip-and-fall lawsuit waiting to happen. Front desk did not acknowledge my Best Western Rewards status so I have no idea if I got points or not. Went to do laundry one night, and front desk did not have any quarters. If you don't have change for the laundry room, then you should at least have a change machine in there. At all times, front desk, while nice enough, was not outstanding. When we come back next July, we will look into some of the other hotels they have built in the Firestone area because this one has not succeeded in keeping our business.
I found myself accidentally dropped off at this hotel by Uber, instead of at the Best Western in Longmont. Since every hotel in the region was sold out, including this one, I was in a true predicament and stranded. Jerry, the customer service rep behind the counter not only called the hotel in Longmont to make sure my room reservation was there, he also DROVE ME to Longmont himself. Talk about going beyond the call of duty. I am incredibly grateful! Now that I live in the area, I guarantee every visitor I have to the area that needs a hotel will be encouraged to book here! THANK YOU!!!
We truly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very nice and comfortable. It is close to several different restaurants so we just walked to them. It is very close to Denver with a much nicer price but still close to I-70. We would stay here again once we return to this area.
We were traveling back home from Yellowstone and stayed the night and found the staff very helpful and friendly, The room was very clean, internet worked great and a Starbuck was close by. Only problem was the breakfast wasn't the best we've had at a BW property.
Great assistance from front desk. Jerry helped us book our one week stay. We were having a hard time finding a place after being on the road for over 12 hours with 2 little ones and he was very friendly in helping to accomodate us. We are enjoying our stay with great amenities and friendly staff.
Metallica was in town and there were no rooms in Denver. So we found this gem about 25 min away. Perfect! Affordable, super friendly and professional staff, and clean rooms. I travel to Colorado at least once a month and will definitely be staying here next time.
very quit location, wish hot tub was hotter . water in shower was great. the only think i would like is a sitting area in room. I like to siting on coach with my wife and with one chair kind of hard . the view from room 201 is great look out window and see the rockies.
We stayed here for 1 night while heading up to the Rockies, the staff were lovely and the hotel clean and tidy with plenty of parking. The breakfast was help yourself with a mixture of several cereals, waffles, toast, yoghurts, and hot items this changes daily I think but when we were there is was scrambled egg, sausage patties and scones with gravy ( plain scone with the gravy which it would say to us U.K folk is more like a thick mushroom sauce)The hotel does not have a restaurant but just ove the road you have Starbucks, Wendy's, Petrol station/supermarket and just down the road about 4 miles is a Walmart but there is quite a few places to eat in the area mainly quick cheap eats rather than restaurants.
The Firestone Inn was conveniently located off of the interstate and the price was average for the area. I would not recommend it to a friend or family member and won't be back myself. The bathroom had mildew or mold in the corners, we needed to call customer service while standing at the front desk to upgrade our room and breakfast was lacking in anything fresh or healthy.
Jerry was absolutely outstanding, a 10 plus! He was friendly and always had a smile on his face. He took the time to explain things about the hotel to me, provided me with as much coffee as I needed and was a real pleasure to be around!
Great location with a friendly staff. Parkingvwas good with close to some good restaurants and fuel stations. Very clean rooms and as always comfortable beds. Close to freeway exit location. Pool and spa were very nice and clean
It has been a pleasure staying at this motel you couldn't ask for a better group of staff people they treat you like family motel was very clean room are very comfortable and clean breakfast area was neat and clean everything on its place I will definitely go back to the same motel roughly in a bout three weeks
This hotel has nice mountain views from the upper floors on the SW side, you'll get some nice sunset photo opps of Long's Peak from there. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with an updated decor. Breakfast was good and satisfying, hot waffles, eggs, sausage and sauteed onions/peppers, along with the usual breakfast offerings. The pool was clean and the hot tub provided a relaxing moment after a day of travel. Be sure to ask for a local offering for your dinner - there are a variety of restaurants in the Longmont/Firestone area, we asked for a recommend and were not disappointed. Oh, and there's a drive thru Starbucks next door, if you're a coffee snob (like me) you may want a darker roast than the hotel offers. Best Western's coffee will wake you up, though. Enjoy your stay there, we did.
Me & my mom came here for a visit & stayed at this hotel. We were very satisfied! All the employees were very nice & friendly especially a lady named Flor!! She was always talking to us and being very nice, & she was very on top of everything! :)
Great people, great stay! Been treated excellent the whole time of the stay, can't say enough about the hospitality, I would recommend this hotel to anyone that has business in this area! Haven't heard anyone say anything bad about their stay!
Stayed here one night as we were flying out of Denver the next day. The evening clerk was a very friendly young man (I think his name was Jerry). We were checked in promptly with no problems. The hotel was very clean, lobby, pool area, hallways, laundry room, etc. Our room was very nice and extremely clean. Bed was good and comfortable. The pool area was spotless and well maintained. I had to do a load of laundry and while I was waiting, I sat in the lobby and knitted. No issues at all with anyone whatsoever. We would stay here again.
This Best Western was a disappointment compared to other Best Westerns I have stayed at. The most noticeable difference was the breaskfast. Only one kind of fresh fruit and one kind of yogurt. Then no breakfast meat and the biscuits and rolls were very hard (obviously, not fresh). Also there was poor support under the shower in our room and every time you moved in the shower the floor sunk in and made loud noise as the shower floor buckled. Lastly our blanket on the bed appeared worn and they was an odd odor in the room.
This was a lovely hotel. The pool was not "warm" as others had said, but it was similar to recreation center pools and not frigid as some of the hotels. The hot tub was hot and felt great. They have coffee all the time in the breakfast area, so getting up at 4 am, I could grab a cup to take back to the room. There is in-room coffee maker, but I never liked the coffee from these. The biggest downside was that the elevator wasn't working and we had to walk up and down to our 3rd floor room. The guy at the front desk did offer to help us with our bags, but it still spoiled it for us. Such a fancy hotel with high prices, and not to have an elevator that works!!! They should either let you know before you book or give a discount or something. Otherwise, I would have given this a higher rating. The TV was great - a lot of free movies to choose from. The room was quiet, even on the highway side. The heater worked and was pretty quiet. The beds were comfortable.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant! The rooms were clean and the bed was VERY comfortable! The only thing I was not completely satisfied with were a few of the hot foods available for breakfast. It is difficul, though, to keep hot foods hot on a line so it wasn't much of an issue- the scrambled eggs were cold as were the potatoes (whcih should have been grilled a bit rather than just microwaved). Also, the juice machine was out of order during my entire stay. Again, not much of a problem since it was a weekend stay - I know they couldn't have it fixed until the following week.
The hotel was nice and accessible to interstate. The only issue we experienced is the noise from upstairs and in the hallway. The walls seemed very thin. The breakfast was a bit lacking of options but enough to get you started until you were able to get down the road.
Very nice experience here! Staff members were very friendly. Good location to interstate and Longmont. Room was nice and clean. And breakfast included sausage and eggs (not just the normal carb fest!)
I would like to have the mattress that I slept on. It was so soft. I fell asleep right away. The employees there are very nice and helpful. The breakfast could have a meat provided each day. Other than that, I would be back again to stay.
Awesome people, awesome place to stay. Everything was perfect, breakfast was good, especially the Pork Green Chili. Yum. Thanks again for a great stay, Flor, Angelica and the sweet girl who fixes the Green chili. Safe, quiet and clean.
I've stayed here before and it always is a nice clean place to stay Breakfast was pretty good. Checkin and checkout were easy. its easy to park a large vehicle. Overall a good value and a quiet comfortable hotel
If you on a road trip, this is probably a good hotel consider since it is just off of interstate 25. The breakfast items were good, and there was great variety. What I found quite odd was that there was no bottle of water in the room like you would see at other Best Western hotels. Overall, it is a decent hotel
My husband and I were looking for something not too far from the airport for our flight home after visiting Colorado and picked this place which was about a half hour away. We arrived late at night but had such a warm, friendly welcome by Rhonda at the front desk! She was so pleasant and happy and made us laugh. Best front desk person ever! Our room was a good size. We had gotten bumped up to a king size bed which we loved. Everything was clean and neat. Comfortable bed, nice sheets, plenty of pillows. The towels were pretty nice, not extra thick but better than average. The shower head was amazing! High and big with lots of water pressure and numerous settings to choose from. The free breakfast was great! Along with the usual muffins and bread and cereal and fruit, there were waffles and scrambled eggs and sausages. Good size room with plenty of seating. We were sad that we weren't staying longer. Highly recommend!
This hotel is along the highway about equidistant from Denver, Longmont, Boulder, Estes Park and Loveland, Rooms are large and clean and have a separate sitting area for the tv or reading. Hot tub was very hot my first use, but cold and half filled the second time. I don't know why.
Visiting with friends, we had two rooms. Both were clean, comfortable , and well stocked. The staff was great as always, helpful and friendly! We all enjoyed the western view of the mountains, beautiful sunsets! Highly recommended, not my first stay, and not my last!
Good location. Restaurants and gas nearby. Clean, employees friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We had a problem with the toilet flushing (wanted to overflow from the first flush). This did not get taken care of. Front desk told me at checkout that there was no maintenance person at the hotel at night. I guess a toilet problem is not considered an emergency problem.
This hotel was clean and had a great rate for the one night I needed to be in the area. I was staying here so I could get up early and participate in a triathlon. The only thing I would say is that there are not many food options nearby, but that didn't bother me. It was Olympics season and the Direct TV service in my room wasn't working and the man from the front desk came up immediately to fix it and was willing to transfer me to another room if needed.
I was very pleased with my stay. Even though there were a few glitches such as a malfunctioning elevator and a very noisy bathroom fan, the staff did their best to fix these problems. The breakfast area was well stocked and an attendant was on hand to keep things stocked and well cleaned. If I ever go back and need a place to stay I will most definitely choose to stay here again.
A very nice place and nice rooms. Stayed there one night recently and upon arrival around 8pm, the woman behind the counter was very rude. After getting settled in, we decided to swim, about 830pm and notice there were no towels in the pool area. We went to the check in counter and asked for a towel. The gentleman was very rude stating that the pool closes at 10pm and then asked us to take a stack, about 15, towels with us to restock the pool and save him a trip. We wouldn't have minded but his attitude was terrible and acted like we owed him a favor for giving us a towel. The next morning we went down the busted elevator, several told us to enter at our own risk since they spent 2 hours in it the day before, stuck, for breakfast and there were already a few guests, 8 to 10, there. The waffle machine was out of batter, went and told the desk and about 15 minutes later, was replenished, with what I don't know. I can only describe it as a pasty gross substance that tasted gross. They ran out of butter and milk. A guest offered us some butter and that was very nice. I know that one or two employees can ruin it for the whole establishment, but the morning staff wasn't very impressive either. I don't recommend that you stay here unless there aren't any other choices.
The room was nice and the pool good. The elevator stopped working and the breakfast didn't have gravy, which my husband found disappointing. It was a perfect hotel for a night on the way through. The bed was very nice and they had lots of tv stations. We would stay here again.
Comfortable and clean , this was an excellent choice for after a game at Coors Stadium. Headed for Estes tomorrow. Great location. Elevator needs work. Get ground floor or take the stairs. Breakfast was typical.
We has spent a week in Denver and were heading out of town in the morning so we wanted to find a place north of town to get a head start on traffic and our trip. This place worked well for us easy on and off the highway, comfy beds and bill under your door while you sleep. Would stay here agin if passing through.
I read a few of the other reviews and pretty much agree. We stayed here mostly because of the location. There is nothing wrong with the place, but nothing that will spoil you either. We stayed here for two nights visiting Denver before heading to Rocky Mountain NP for four days/nights. It is right off the highway and had a few places to eat close by. Breakfast was ok, but not the best. Room was decent, and we only met one member of the staff, which was just fine. Overall average place. Parking was a small issue as we traveled with a trailer, and noticed others with the same challenge.
I have been trying to get assistance from the hotel since we checked in yesterday. They advertised the low price on Best Western.com but then when we checked in it seems all the rates were lower than ours. We are paying $40 more per night than anyone else in the hotel. Even the rate on the door of our hotel room is different. None of the front desk staff, managers etc will help us adjust the rate. I have contacted customer service and they will not help us. The lady at the front desk asked if she could have the manager call me if she stopped in. When I checked to see if the manager had stopped in hours later, the lady at the front desk stated that I was supposed to come find her. Since I didn't she wouldn't adjust the rates. Such absolute double talk and horrible customer service we've decided never to stay at a Best Western again after 20 years. Buyer beware if you stay at this hotel!!!!!!
We have stayed at this hotel several times and it has always exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very clean, the entire property is in great condition. It has easy access off I 25 and it is close to all there is to do in this area.It appeared as though there might be new management, I hope they continue the standard of excellence that this property has always had.
Check in was difficult due to desk clerk with attitude and then there were no cups or coffee maker in the room. At breakfast they only had flavored coffee creamer. All in all not a satisfactory experience. Compared to most hotels I stay in this was low on the list and not professionally run.
My husband and I stayed at the Best Western in Firestone for four nights in June 2016. Overall, I'd say it was an average stay. The staff was generally the saving grace, the seemed sincere, kind, and like hard workers. However, there were some issues that were frustrating. -The mini-fridge in our room didn't work correctly. The freezer cooled things how I would expect a fridge to, the fridge didn't really cool anything. We couldn't figure out how to increase the coldness of the fridge. -The toilet clogged once but there was only one staff member in the entire hotel so I was handed a plunger and had my husband clear the clog. -Colorado gets big thunder storms often and when these storms would happen water would come pouring into the room from around the window, which I think caused a musty smell and a lot of unexpected humidity in the room. We notified the front desk staff of this issue and they said they would get maintenance on it, I hope they did. On the bright side: -Our room was very clean and well-stocked with toiletries and linens. -The pool and other public areas were nicer in person than the photos online made them look. -The location was great, not only convenient to Denver, but also had several restaurants within walking distance, mostly fast food but still nice. -The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast of the three hotels we stayed at on this trip!
My family tried staying here for a family reunion in Firestone. Even though we booked the hotel over a month in advance, the man at the front desk said we did not have a room when we tried checking in. I had left our confirmation number at home, 900 miles away, so I could only tell them the exact date and time that I called to make the reservation by looking up the information on my phone. They were completely booked for the weekend so we were left to find a last minute room after planning this trip over a month prior. Not once has anyone on their staff apologized for the mix-up, otherwise I would feel differently. In fact, the man at the front desk complained about my husband being frustrated with them losing our reservation. After moving to a different hotel, I called back to make sure they didn't charge our credit card number that they took during the reservation process a month before. Again, no apologies from anyone on their staff. Later, during the evening, the front desk told another family member about her additional room that she hadn't booked. The front desk told her she was lucky they wouldn't charge her for the additional room.. again as if she was to blame when their staff obviously wrote down the wrong names and gave her our room. (The names are not similar besides the same last name.) Another family member said when she went to her room, two young girls were in it. She talked to the front desk about how strange it was to have girls in her room and the front desk told her they would make it right with her but couldn't offer her a discount since the room was booked through a third party. Another inaccurate statement because all of the rooms were directly booked through the hotel to be part of the blocked set of rooms for our reunion. Fortunately, the Comfort Suites next door had a room for us for the weekend. If at any point, the hotel would have taken blame for any of these incidents, I would not be writing this review. Save yourself the hassle and book elsewhere!
LATE REVIEW: I stayed here for four days during a visit to Colorado and was pleased. Pros: The first desk guy (cant remember his name) was awesome. Not only did he keep us laughing during our stay he recommended great places to eat. The rooms were up to date The breakfast had plenty of options The location was great, short drive (maybe 25 mins to Denver) Cons: The gym was small with limited options Overall great place and would return
Had a great experience at this hotel. Staff were nice and attentive! The hotel and area were clear and well taken care of. Took advantage of the hot tub in the evening. The hotel was close to many different fast food establishments.
After see another hotel room that I was to stay in I ended up calling and booking with the Firestone Best Western Hotel. The guy working the front desk was the BEST and saw the pictures of where we were to be staying and after seeing the pictures and hearing our story of horror he made sure we had a good stay and a great room. The room was nice and CLEAN and was perfect for our end of vacation. The breakfast was great and warm. I will be booking this hotel again next time we go to Longmont, CO. Thank you again for the guy who was working the night we checked in. He made a problem that was not his and fixed it. Thank you again!!!
Super-easy freeway access, with very comfortable accommodations. The front-desk staff was superb. Only thing lacking was funky internet access. Could only get some of my devices logged in some of the time.
The staff at the Best Western in Firestone were so helpful, accommodating and friendly. We had a birthday party for six 13yr olds and it went off so smoothly because of the amazing staff at Firestone Inn & Suites. I'd like to especially thank Flor, Angelica, Juan and Jerry for their attentiveness. This is a very clean, cared for and welcoming Inn. I would highly recommend it to friends and family.
My stay here was awsome.I've stayed at this hotel for gver two years,L go home on the weekends .Sometimes my wife will join me during the week, she enjoys herseif everytime.I will be there .hopefully for another two years.
THis is a great hotel for anyone going to fly out of Denver who do not want to stay in those expensive hotels around DIA. It is only 30 minutes from DIA. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are very clean; the beds are also comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is right off of I-25
Near many dining options and near major highways for exploring CO. We plan on staying there in our next trip to CO. Business center, Fitness Room and Laundry room on site and in good order. We had an excellent experience!!
Normally use a corporate discount with online reservations, but was close by & did a walk in. Front desk clerk seemed a bit rattled when I advised corporate discount number. She said that she would leave a note for the supervisor, because she didn't know how to give discount. That went nowhere. breakfast has went down hill since last visit at this hotel. I'll be looking for a new one next time in area.
Very clean and a real friendly staff. Right off I-25 and a variety of meal options nearby. Great pool with warm water and a hot tub, laundry right outside the pool, very convenient. Their breakfast needs a little help though; beyond the waffle makers.
Excellent, clean, great staff, fantastic value for the price, great location, beautiful view of the rocky mountains. I am tired of typing, two hundred character minimum is crazy. This is getting very annoying Trip Advisor your rules are not necessary.
I have been staying here for two years.I work at KR Swerdfeger Constrction installing natural gas mains.and installing residential services.Sometimes it can get a little lonely, and frusterating..The staff always has a friendly word or even just a smile helps. The work I do can also get pretty dirty,I have never heard one complaint about anything. I guess it's the closest to home I can get, without being there.l highly rcomend staying here.
Stayed for two nights and loved the great customer service. The room was cozy and clean and the pool was one of the warmest indoor pools I have experienced in a while. The breakfast was great with lots of selection. If I get back to Colorado I am booking again at this hotel. Highly recommended!!! Great location right off the interstate and with many fast food options within walking distance. Thank you for the great experience!
Everything is as you would expect for a Best Western hotel. The Pool and Hot tub were perfect after a long day. It would be nice to have a queen bed instead of doubles but everything else was good. Breakfast left a little to be desired as there wasn't much to take on the go, the fruit was old and bruised.
Great clean rooms with great large breakfast and beautiful view from the third floor. Good internet reception and wonderful comfortable beds. Very convenient location before you get to Denver from the north.
The quality of stay in Best Western Inns is second to none for the price, which is always reasonable. Firestone Inn was a top of the range and made particularly pleasant through cheerful, friendly and very helpful and good humoured staff
Clean, friendly, ......beds are comfy. We struggled to find the hotel even with GPS. We didn't find a nice restaurant nearby so had to eat at Arby's. :p the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Very clean, friendly and easy free parking Right of the I 25 and near Starbucks, TCBY and Mexican restaurant. Well appointed and would recommend a corner room. Free breakfast makes it a better deal! Found it to be a better deal than surrounding places to stay
Easy on and off access to highway with convenient location to several eating establishments. Attractive and well appointed lobby and rooms. Welcoming staff, pleasant and quiet rooms and delicious breakfast choices. Excellent coffee. Very good choice for senior citizens.
Middle of the road hotel with a few frills like continental breakfast & wifi. Good location off the freeway, close to RMNP and Boulder but without the prices associated with those locations. Super duper amazing staff that went out of their way to make me feel welcome and provided amazing service.
Aahhh.....just what I needed - a nice, cushy bed with a wonderful choice of pillows. Slept like a rock! Nice & clean, too, with friendly and helpful staff. The extensive breakfast was delicious and there was definitely plenty to choose from.
The hotel is close to the interstate, but I didn't get any road noise in my room. It's close to some fast food places, 7-11 and coffee shops. The hotel is newer and the rooms are well kept and clean. The breakfast is standard hotel fare (egg pucks, sausage and waffle maker).
Had a very nice stay here. Nice pool, granddaughter really enjoyed swimming. Good rooms very comfortable . Easy to find good on off for I 25. The only down side was that the only restaurants near by were fast food. Found a great place to eat in Longmont six miles away(Georgia Boy's)
