We switched to this hotel at the last minute after our hotel in Winthrop, Washington was blocked due to wildfires. We were both diagnosed with Covid 19 that day, so we used our 2-day stay to rest. Our room was nice, with a comfy bed and good shower. The breakfast was typical of Best Westerns. The hallways were very strange, featuring inclines that were tough to push luggage carts up. Then when we left and were pulling suitcases, we had to be careful not to have a runaway suitcase going down the ramps!
Large suite with everything sink, two ensuite bathrooms, 2 televisions , tables and chairs. Comfy chairs. Lots of surfaces to put things out on in the bathroom. Good choices at breakfast, staff checking on availability. Excellent vale for money.
Stayed here for 2 nights on a work trip. Google maps definitely did not have the correct spot and took me about half a block down in the back alley. As others have mentioned, rooms and clean, spacious, and quiet in an otherwise dated building. Gym is pretty basic but it was nice being able to hop on the treadmill at the end of the day. While I was here the pool was overrun with kids who all knew each other, seemed like a team of some sort. But I was intent on using the pool and hot tub for at least a little bit. Found the staff to all be really pleasant. Really happy with the breakfast - especially the potatoes!
The hotel is in close proximity to the 5 freeway; easy access if you are traveling. There are very few local restaurants located in the immediate area. Be prepared to drive 10-15 minutes for restaurants or other services. First and most important....the room was clean. The Hotel appears to be an older building and generally well maintained. We did not notice any significant deferred maintenance but everything is old/older. The A/C worked well, plenty of hot water, small / typical refrigerator, microwave, ironing board / iron and coffee pot. We didn't use the swimming pool, too cold outside even for the month of June. The WiFi was adequate enough, a bit slow/glitchy while streaming Netflix. We didn't use the TV in the room. The Breakfast buffet what is typical and expected for a Best Western Hotel or other comparable hotels. Self Serve Waffle maker, various hot breakfast items , cold cereals, juices and coffee/ teas.
Nice hotel right off the interstate. Plenty of parking available. Rooms were nice, clean and comfy. Breakfast one day was ok. next day was much better. Typical waffles, but also omelet, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc. Pool looked nice but too cold to be in. Vending machines were all empty but otherwise nice stay.
Hotel was easy to find and staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and was very quiet.Breakfast was exceptionally good.
This Hotel is located near many things that we like to do, Theater, water front, good restaurants, etc. The staff works hard to make each stay enjoyable. The breakfast is fine, pretty basic.
The property itself was clean, well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If I had not been handicapped in a wheelchair, it would have been a great experience. However, the bed was too high, the toilet too low and cramped. The breakfast was filling and had many choices - a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, juice, milk, coffee, bagels, English muffins, potatoes with onions, cereal and more.
We live on an island in the Puget Sound. We need to come to town frequently for a variety of reasons. This hotel is reasonably priced.(not as good as it used to be) Clean and relatively safe location. The rooms are nice. The breakfast is fair, but no fresh fruit just canned. Bottom line if Everett is your destination or close to, this is probably the most cost-effective decent place to stay. My wife loves the two vanity setup.
I had a terrible experience at Best Western Cascadia Inn and would not stay there again. I was traveling with my child and had called to let the hotel know that we would arrive very late, around 12 or 1 AM. There was a massive winter storm that night, and the temperature had dropped to the teens. When we got to our room, it was cold with no heat. The heater was turned off, and I later discovered why. The thermostat on the through-the-wall heater was broken. It never turned off when I turned on the heat and set the temperature. So we went to sleep freezing and woke up sweating as the room had heated up to the mid-80s. I opened the windows as far as they would go, even though it was only 15 degrees outside, to cool down the room to a reasonable temperature. My child and I had to endure a miserable stay, sleeping with the windows open in a massive winter storm, as the heater's thermometer was broken and would not thermostatically control the unit. Ahhh, now I understand the staff already knew about it. See, that's why the heater was TURNED OFF, and the room was not maintained at a reasonable temperature for my arrival. They were OK with not working and for us not being comfortable. Why didn't I say something to the management on staff? one might ask. To be honest, I simply didn't have the time. We were there for a funeral and every moment was precious to spend with family. Throughout our entire stay, we were either busy with something or exhaustedly sleeping with the window open, trying to stay comfortable.
I do not care what ANYONE says, this is the BEST BY FAR motel I have ever stayed at!!!!!!! a little expensive, but that's EVERYWHERE! The girls are AWESOME! And so are the guys! They are ALL helpful, and knowledgeable doing their job, VERY respectful, and caring!
Short visit to Everett, stayed at Cascasdia Best Western. Nice hotel, located central to what we planned to do. Check in staff was great. Always like the free breakfast. Hotel was clean and quiet. Wo I ld stay again
Spent one night at this Best Western. It was on par with my (minimal) expectations. On the plus side it was clean and quiet. Still, check-in was interesting. When we arrived we were asked for our preference on rooms and we asked for a higher floor. "Those haven't been cleaned yet." (It was after 5pm.) When we asked about taking a comparable room on that floor, we were told it would be more than $20 more. Um, no thanks. So we opted for a first floor room. "You'll be better able to keep an eye on your car that way." Wait, what? She then gave us a slip of paper to put on our dashboard....To prove we weren't abusing any free parking privileges in the nearly empty lot, I guess. Plus, they had already asked for our license plate info when we signed in. We got our room key which included two tickets for breakfast. "That way we know you're actually staying here." I guess they must have had a run of free breakfast grabbers. As we began to leave we asked about the shuttle van parked out front, hoping it would take us to a local restaurant where we had reservations. "We haven't used that thing since before COVID, " was the reply. Alright then.
The hotel was very happy to accommodate an early check in for three rooms and for trying to get rooms near each other. The hotel was very quiet. The bed was comfortable. Close to good restaurants as well.
One of our main reason for selecting a particular hotel is whether they have a pool for our grandsons and us to use. The Cascadia had a nice sized outdoor pool. It was very well maintained, clean and a pleasant temperature. The Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was average but again clean.
Stayed here to go to the Blue Jays games in Seattle; just drove to the park n' ride at Northgate, then took the train down. We found the staff at the hotel to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast room had lots of variety - something for everyone. We forgot some belongings, and they held them until we returned to pick them up, which was very much appreciated. We'll be happy to stay here again in future, whether for a Jays game, or something else.
I would recommend this Best Western to anyone looking to stay in Everett. The staff are excellent and my room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff went out of their way to make my short stay as pleasant as possible.
Stayed here with the family for a couple of nights. The hotel is right off the highway and close to the waterfront and restaurants. The hot breakfast in the morning was good. Sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, coffee, waffles, fresh cut up fruit, etc. The hotel was crowded and the staff was churning out lots of hot food and they did not run out of anything! The outdoor pool was nice and it was being used by a lot of guests. I did not go in, but the kids loved it. Personally, I did not find the bed to be that comfortable, but I was able to sleep. The blackout curtains did let slivers of early morning sunlight in and that was annoying. The hotel is under some construction, but I like that the property is being maintained and cared for.
Great hotel for the price. It's older but very clean and safe. Don't expect a Westin experience if you're not paying Westin prices. We came down to Everett to was the Blue Jays play the Mariners. The hotel is close to the I5. There was a great outdoor pool which was a big kit with our son. The free breakfast was excellent. We'd definitely stay here again.
This is pretty good place to stay in Everett. The rooms are comfortable and I slept well. It is close to I-5 so easy to get to and from. The breakfast area is decent. For lunch and dinner there are many other places close by. Overall a good value for your money if you have to stay in Everett.
Stayed here as part of road trip, directions to hotel seemed a bit off but we got there just fine. They have a pool/hot tub but it was located outside. Only thing I could fault was that you had to have a breakfast ticket to enjoy the continental breakfast bar. Staff was very nice to work with.
The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel is an older hotel and the halls and elevators could use a sprucing up. TV reception was not good at all. But we enjoyed our stay. It will be better when construction is over!
I've stayed here a lot recently and the hotel isn't to bad, a little bit high priced sometimes but other then that its good, however I've had one bad experience where I was double charged because of miscommunication from the front desk and then had to wait an hour for my second reservation
Terrible old moldy motel. This place needs to close for a complete make over. Do Not stay here! It has not been updated in years with carpet so old it is caked with dirt and grease in the hallways, how it possibly qualifies as a Best Western I cannot imagine.
Best western is the best place yo stay and safe, very affordable place to stay and staffs are friendly and accommodating. They attend all your needs in a snap! Good price!! Very affordable to stay with good amenities!!
This facility shows some age but there has been some updates and it's kept very clean. Easy freeway access. Lots of nice restaurants in the area. Decent breakfast. It's an older neighborhood but we never felt unsafe at any particular point in time
The staff is friendly and has a willingness to be helpful. The ADA rooms are very spacious; our wheelchair easily maneuvered throughout the room. Our bed was comfortable with plentiful and fluffy pillows! My family slumber with ease! A great benefit to have the microwave and fridge in the room. No difficulties with WiFi. Breakfast amenity has a great selection; waffles, eggs, hot or cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, sausage or bacon, bagles, english muffins, biscuits/gravy, fruit juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, ice water. Although I did not use the gym or pool these amenities are nicely kept up. Overall the hotel is clean, staff responsive to your needs. Therefore, I will return and recommend to others (especially for those with disabilities and families).
The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast options were good. The hotel room was newer furnishings. The Chinese restaurant at the back of the hotel parking lot was excellent. The food was very good and the server was excellent.
Our room had a lot of space, which was perfect for the end of a trip where we had to do a lot of suitcase reorganization before flying out. Convenient to the interstate. We didn't explore the area at all.
I'm not sure where the rave reviews come from but this hotel is so run down. The room STANK. Like someone took some food wrapped in a dirty diaper and put it under the bed for a few weeks. So gross. The coffee maker didn't work, the elevator is the kind that would give you nightmares. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. I expect better from this brand.
Morning check out folks at front desk were so friendly, they more than made up for the so-so guy at check in. He was ok checking us in but wouldn't do anything for us when we had issues getting the TV to work (luckily after me playing with it for 10 mins I was able to get it to work)! The breakfast was also splendid. Fully stocked with hot eggs, bacon and sausage, along with all the other regular stuff you get at hotels these days - better by far than most we have seen post-covid. Totally recommend if you need a place in Everett.
We checked in at 2am and were helped quickly and kindly. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was big with a lot of hot and cold choices. We had a very nice two night stay here.
This place does the job if you're looking for a place to sleep comfortably and have some amenities. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. The channels took a minute to figure out without a guide but once I knew the channel I wanted it was easy. The TV is a bit dated but I honestly was only using the TV as background noise and a distraction. The bathroom had some soap dispensers in the shower but they were not functional. They provided the typical travel size bottles to use. I would think if the dispensers in the shower serves no purpose, then why not remove them? The big bath towel was a bit thin but not a show stopper by any means. The room had 2 sinks. One inside the area with tub/toliet and one just outside which I can see being convenient if you have more than one person. The gym was a nice size but had limited equipment. There was a sign on the door that same the room limit was 2. I wasn't too concerned as I was the only person in the room each day I used the gym and it had the necessary equipment for me. The pool and hot tub are outside which are not covered. So if it rains, you'll probably won't want to go a dip (unless that's your thing). Unfortunately, the forecast did the typical PNW thing and the 4% precipitation turned into a good drizzle throughout the day the first day which made the pool/tub not a desirable option. Overall, not a bad option as it's close to downtown and right off the highway. IF you're looking for quiet and comfortable without all the bells and whistles of what a 5 start hotel offers, this is good enough in my opinion.
Nothing fancy but a solid stay here with quiet rooms and hallways...good location and wished we could have used the outdoor pool (the weather changed to be quite cool overnight). I appreciated that the staff took the time to include me in some recent Best Western promotions. Breakfast also solid!
I would not recommend this place to anyone. You have to request for your room to be cleaned, or it will not be cleaned. No trash picked up, you have to go to the front desk to get towels, toilet tissue and plastic bags. I went in the bathroom and a roach ran out. Huge spiders on yhe walls. This hotel needs a lot of improvement. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was hot. Lady Trish
Stay here if you want to wake up at 5am in fear that your car windows have been smashed in by one of the meth heads posted up outside. This was a horrid place. I was disgusted by the cleanliness of elevators and hallways and carpeting. I was nervous to take a shower due to filth. Never coming back.
The location is perfect. Right off of I-5 and close to gas, grocery and restaurants. We didn't use the pool, but it was full and looked to be pretty popular. The day we checked in, it was really hot and the room already had a/c running and the curtains drawn closed. That was good foresight on the hotel. The pillows were soft, yet not to soft and the beds were comfortable. The only amenities that were used were the internet and breakfast. The wi-fi worked fine. The kids enjoyed the hot breakfast and cold cereal. There were hot biscuits, scrambled eggs, sausage links and waffles available. I just had some juice and tea. The heat took away my appetite.
Be careful to make sure you aren't double charged Ike I was when using a travel agency to stay here. I was charged more than the price I paid originally. I cannot believe I was charged 300 extra dollars for one night
We stayed 5 nights for a family wedding. The AC was broken- never fixed. We asked for towels for the pool (none by the pool during pool hours) and were told no every time. Same for room towels and blankets (needed because of broken ac). At check in, they tried to charge us more- luckily I had my pre-paid receipt printed out. Our son's room was upgraded and Cascadia Inn would not honor it nor offer compensation. Rude doesn't explain it. We were standing, dripping cold from the pool, and the clerk was on her phone, texting or playing, and completely ignoring us for about 5 min- only to tell us there were no towels. The coffee by the front desk either has grounds, is cold, or empty. Pay the little extra and go somewhere else. Not worth it- except for the breakfast.
Last minute business trip, but The Best Western Cascadia Inn easy access off and on of I-5 N and S. Breakfast bar was clean and well stocked with items. Our room fresh, clean and stocked with coffee kurigs. Front Desk staff above and beyond helpful and well knowledge of area.
Good location in Everett, easy access to freeway, Funko HQ and Funko Field. Facility a little dated, but clean. Located in a partially residential area, so it was quiet at night. Offered a minimal breakfast buffet. Overall, a very good value.
Old, dilapidated, not well-maintained motel. Staff was relatively uninterested in customer service though cleaning staff work hard to make it tolerable. Carpets are worn and grungy in the hallways. Old elevators that jerk and feel precarious, sketchy parking areas - had a tire fiddled with during the night. Just not a great stay.
The worst hotel experience of my life. I never write reviews unless somewhere needs to be avoided and this place you need to stay clear away from! Both front desk and managers do not want to deal with any problems if through a third party and then blame you for their issues when they overbook their rooms. Had to call Priceline to get refunded for their mistake. Quoted- “well it is your fault for booking through a third party”. Very unprofessional as well as dirty! Can't believe scam artists like this can be in business! Do NOT stay here! Thank you Hampton for your hospitality after such a terrible experience.
I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and find the affordability and quality of rooms to be very good for this property. The full breakfast is a bonus and the staff are pleasant. Easy access from I-5. I'd recommend to friend, family and business associates as an all-round good place to stay.
We had a pipe burst in the hallway outside our room. A guy died in the hot tub. The front desk staff was rude and referred to me as "the one with all the kids." The only enjoyable part was the breakfast.
I have stayed here a lot for work. They have nice clean rooms and a good breakfast. The hotel isn't in the typical BW configuration so it's a little weird to navigate but easy enough to figure out. Well lit parking lots in Everett.
I've been staying at this hotel for many years whenever I'm in the Everett area. I wouldn't be making this statement if I wasn't satisfied. The breakfast is good, it has easy access to I-5, it's close to downtown, and as within walking distance to some bars and restaurants that I enjoy.
Nice rooms and great breakfast. The area isn't that nice but they can't help that. The issues I did have the staff assisted me right away and did there best to fix them. If you plan on staying awhile make sure you tell them they checked me out without asking me.
They have everything you need. A really good full hot breakfast. Coffee 24hrs. A workout room. Hot Tub and Pool are open. The only thing they need is security. The employees are very nice. We really enjoy staying here.
I like to stay at Best Western hotels so I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. There was evident drug use going on around the hotel premises. There were people asking to be let in the door, who appeared to be homeless. The tv in the room was blurry, the room at first appeared to be clean but the bed had been peed in and covered up with a pad. Of course once the bed was laid in the pee soaked through the pad. We asked for our money back and left the hotel. I have traveled for over 35 years and this is the first time I have checked out and left a hotel.
I would recommend checking in before dark to get your bearings. The parking lot is very dark and we had a hard time navigating when we arrived. Great location, easy on / off the freeway, and very quiet.
Weekend in the Monroe/Everett area to see our daughter. Hotel was fine but surrounding neighborhood is not. Loud music from outside our room at 3am was frustrating plus a few homeless slept in bushes close by hotel. Staff are very friendly. Accommodatons are adequate for amount paid. I don't think we will be back due to the external environment/locaton of this hotel, which is too bad. I do realize this isn't a BW issue, per say.
Check-in was slow, and young man who checked us in seemed confused, even though we presented a print-out of our booking. Room was spacious and comfortable, but looked rather shabby and in need of an update. Cleanliness was acceptable. Very noisy hotel, and lots of sketchy people loitering in the parking lot at times. Two times one of these sketchy people tried to gain entry as we walked in the side door after swiping our room key. Another guy was wandering down the corridor and wanted to come in and use our restroom. Best Western used to be a pretty reliable chain but seems to have declined in quality, at least at this Everett location.
Everything was great nice clean hotel and the staff was friendly . room was nice very clean check in was very easy as was check out. We will stay there again if we are in the area. Lots of parking and multiple entry points.
This hotel is clean, fairly friendly reasonably priced and in a fair neighborhood. They except pets for a reasonable price which is extremely important for us. We stay there quite often, the room coffee maker is k-cup which is great and their breakfast is OK most of the time
THEY DONT CHANGE THE BEDDING FROM THE PREVIOUS PEOPLE. DON'T STAY HERE. I pulled all the sheets off to find blood and urine-stained mattress protector. The housekeepers came in to change the sheets and one was NOT WEARING A MASK- yet they had signs posted everyone to wear them regardless of vaccine status. The house keepers talked in Spanish thinking I couldn't understand- I can. they said it was my older children who made the blood and urine stains not the people before us and its not even a big deal since all the sheets cover it. When I asked for a clean mattress cover they informed me its one matreas cover per room, they have no extras. I asked how that works between clients. I asked if they remove it at check at and wash it and put it back in the 3 hours between check in and and check out. They have like 200 rooms. This means they can wash and dry 200 matreas covers in three hours. I'm.not buying it. I think they leave the covers on and never change them. I saw the same.housekwwper on several more occasions over my 5-day stay NOT wearing a mask. The air conditioner barely worked and wouldn't push off low to high. when I asked for resolution they told me they would bring me a fan and the maintenance would look at it- neither of them happened. Don't forget the police activity and homeless camp forming on the sidewalk of the hotel.
Our stay at the BW in Everett WA was amazing. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk folks were so pleasant. At the last moment, we asked to stay an additional night and we were immediately taken care of (thank goodness there was availability.) The entire hotel was as clean as can be. The gardens were groomed and without trash, all floors and carpeting were clean and well cared for and our room and common areas were immaculate. The beds were comfortable and linen was very clean and in good repair. I liked that there was a sink both in the bathroom and the vestibule. Without exception, the staff was friendly, accommodating and great at their jobs. A continental breakfast was offered and had the usual offerings. There was something for kids and adults, vegetarians and those who are gluten-free and the buffet was always clean and well stocked. The pool and whirlpool were crystal-clear and in good repair while the patio and furniture was clean and debris-free. The hotel is a couple of blocks off the I-5 highway but we never heard a thing. This location is one of the nicest Best Western's I've ever stayed at and we will definitely return.
Not the best for me. Check in was easy. Asked for a quiet room. They put me in 335. Literally next to the elevator.l which was old and noisy. Door was stuck or something, had to put all my weight into it to force it open each time when light would turn green. All Chanel's on TV were blurry. It's 2021, come on. Breakfast was as expected. Room was clean. Shower pressure not good.
The beds were horrible and squeaked loudly with each movement. The toilet was so low to the floor you could use it for toddler potty training. The shower was a safety hazard without any handrails. The shower floor was very slippery. There was still food on the carpet from previous guest. There was no guardrails in the walking area where the hallway slopes. Very dangerous and a safety hazard for falling. I did receive great customer service at the front desk. I will never stay at another Best Western Hotel.
While on a brief getaway, we stopped for the night in Everett. The location of this hotel was convenient and just off I-5. The staff were very friendly at both check-in and check-out. Despite being close to the freeway, we found the rooms insulated enough that we did not hear traffic nor the trains during our stay. We missed the grab and go breakfast, but the lady at the front desk offered us fruit, juice, water and snacks. We would stay at this location again.
The hotel is nice and clean rooms are big and its quit the breakfast was good only problwm is this place is never busy and iam gussing its because of alit of the staff the women who works 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm is verey rude talks down to me and is very snotty the hoyse keepers do a good job but i feel as if i was being watched we are here because we have family that is sick we were bringing some stuff in to go through as we believe out family member is not going to make it i pay my bill every day and going through alot i dont like being stared at as if iam up to no good the man that does work the front desk is wonderful hes pleasaunt to talk to and helpful and friendly the women that wirks that shift for some reason thinks of anything she can to run me out very very very rude i woyld not have someone like her dealung with guest being as she has no idea what we are going through and is being very petty and picks at every litte thing i do i will be contacting corporate about their staff at this hotel in the morning
When we arrived in our room the heater wasn't working, it was fixed immediately. Breakfast was good for this time of the pandemic. Great staff, house keeping and maintenance!! Look forward to a return stay.
Even during the COVID Pandemic, hotel service was great! The hotel is very centrally located in the city of Everett, WA. The stay costs are very reasonable, given the the higher economy of the area. From a short distance from the hotel there are parks, hospital, fine dinning, and shops. Plenty of informational brochures about the area in the hotel lobby. No problems with the internet access.
Overall, I had a decent stay. Only problem was that the Tissue dispenser was not attended to. I hope the corona virus is done before my next trip, the breakfasts are better then. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.
Hotel was in poor location. Seemed ghetto. Elevator sounded like it wanted to give out. Rooms were clean & staff was friendly. Price was average but I expected better from best western. They only had packaged breakfast due to covid. So breakfast was a disappointment but that was expected.
The cleanness of the room was excellent The service and the hotel staff were great. Breakfast and internet service was awesome. Hotel was very clean great kitchen nice refrigerator nice microwave and clean towels
A clean well run hotel. Watched women's Fed Cup tennis match, Everett Washington, Friday evening. Stayed at hotel that night. Nice room, well maintained and excellent service. The breakfast Saturday a.m. was outstanding. Expected a usual continental type, but this breakfast included all kinds of stuff, omlets, waffles etc. Would go for 15.00 at restaurant!
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fresh every morning with a good selection. Easy access on and off the freeway. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Internet was a little slow.
Stayed at the Cascadia Inn for just one night. It was easy to find great location for my needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed were super comfortable. If needed I would happily stay again and can recomend it to any traveler.
Great stay in Everett, Washington. Clean rooms. Great breakfast bar for my family this is the only place i stay at when visiting my in laws in Everett, Washington. Great property close to downtown Everett.
Good value, clean room, friendly & helpful staff, and we always love the breakfast. It's an older (built in 84?, renovated in 2013?) building, so there are little things that reflect that: the hallways aren't very wide, nor is the elevator especially large, like you would have in newer hotels; the overall layout of the hotel is long and narrow, so you may want to put more effort (than normal) into parking near an entrance closer to where your room is if you have mobility issues; the hallways slope in areas that transition from one building section to another -- it's not problematic, just different. We didn't expect new & fancy as we chose this location because it had good access to I-5 (which can, yes, occasionally, mean some freeway noise; but it didn't bother us) which provided a central location for the places we wanted to visit both in Seattle and farther north, and we were able to save some money in the process. As a single mom with a teenage son, I appreciated that the parking lot was well lit and I never felt like I had to question the safety of the area. Yes, occasionally I could hear the train (but, if all else is quiet, I can hear the train at home too, even from a distance) or the freeway sounds, but neither were truly bothersome. We slept well and soundly. And, as a parent of a teenager, I love their breakfasts! Great and plentiful options, we don't have to take the time to go "out" but can have an excellent, filling breakfast (even if my son wants two waffles and extra bacon) and you can't beat the convenience. We'll definitely stay here again.
Pros - Staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. Seemed to have lots of parking. Close to downtown. Breakfast included. The breakfast was superior to most. Reasonable rates. Not that busy. Cons - Room noise was real problem. Had a room on the east side. Traffic on the i5 was a problem. Trains a problem too. Exhaust fans from restaurant below very loud. First time I used ear plugs in accommodations around the world. May be better on west side. We had room 303. AVOID!
The hotel is convenient and clean. It is a very long building so can involve lots of walking from parking to breakfast and the lobby. Hot breakfast was good. The beds need a duvet, not just a thin cotton blanket but heat system works well. Don't try to use your BW gift card. The evening clerk does NOT know how to handle them. I ended up leaving them there in the morning for the manager to handle later in the day but now 5 days later, I still don't see the credit on my Visa. I spoke with her yesterday so I got a corrected invoice but Visa doesn't seem to know about it. Frustrating!
Customer Service was great. The hotel is close to I-5 which was great for my visit. The room was great with the exception of not having a furnace where you can select the max or min temperature. Overall I would rate the hotel 8/10
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to our meetings and restaurants within the city. Rooms were clean, spacious, heater/cooling system was very quite, and bathroom was spacious. The morning breakfast was ourstanding in that the food was hot and fresh. There was large selection to choose from. Parking at the hotel was very easy to get in and out. Location of the hotel had easy access to the freeway. There was a lack of outside noise and place felt secured.
My husband and I had a good stay. It was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. We are going to be staying there again. We have to be in Seattle multiple times and this hotel seems to be what we need.
We basically came to town to go to the funko store so this is pretty easy to get to from I-5 and there are plenty of restaurants around as well. The hotel seems to be in a nice, quiet area. The rooms also seem well-soundproofed as i could only hear people in the hall.
Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The Inn provides easy access to the freeway and restaurants for dining with a variety of dining choices. I will recommend this location to family and friends.
We just stayed at BW Cascadia this last Saturday night. It was very clean, quiet and the bed and room was comfy. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. I definitely recommend others to stay here.
everyone went out of their way to please any little matter, and there were very little matters to deal with. Wonderful staff. Anything I asked for was no problem. I felt very safe. Very comfortable beds and clean.Would not stay anywhere else throughout the country but Best Western.
It was very nice and comfortable stay for me. It was very pleasant stay, cleaned room, amazing breakfast. Outdoor Swimming pool. It's all was a wonderful stay. Customer just need to be attentive to listen about parking spot behind that hotel, even host give map and clearly mark space where you shouldn't park.
I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the lobby all the way with the room, the breakfast had a little bit of everything and it tasted delicious. The staff was all friendly and the location is perfect for our Spartan races
We decided to stay over in Everett so we did not have to drive all the way to Seattle after a full day of shopping at the outlets (202, Northbend, etc). Our room was large and clean and included breakfast, parking and wifi. A good stop over on our trip.
Overall: Great customer service Great breakfast Great location Outdoor pool, whirlpool and gym, has cardio and weights and two tv's. There is a Denny's located across the street. The location is great and the rooms are roomy and clean!
Location is right off the highway and close to downtown Everett. Very quick drive to lots of bars and restaurants. Beds are comfy and a better than average selection for a continental breakfast. For the price, pretty solid and beat my expectations.
The room was nicely decorated. Including a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig coffeemaker. There were multiple breakfast selections and the food was well prepared. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Will definitely stay at this location next time I'm back.
I didn't feel any worries in this hotel;. It was bright and welcoming; the counter staff were great and they have a shuttle that runs almost every 15 minutes and on time; they had good simple breakfast, maintained by a friendly kitchen helper ; My room was quiet and not scary. Phone calls were convenient and almost free and the WIFI and business center connects well online and the office printer worked perfectly; it's near Everett station; near Cascadia is a Chinese restaurant, a burger place, Dennis and a corner gas store; this hotel surprised me
This hotel is our go to place whenever we're visiting Everett. It's close to both downtown and the freeway, but far enough away to be quiet. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The breakfasts are always great and they change up the menu daily, which is appreciated if you're staying multiple days. Their in town shuttle service is also a plus. On our recent stay they drove us to a play we attended downtown and promptly picked us up afterwards. We certainly will be returning here in the future.
room was great, not many TV channels, always call before you check in to make sure everything is open (POOL) the web page did not say pool was closed and that was one main reason to stay there. I will go back but ill call first
We stayed here for 4 nights. During Our check in process or if we had any questions we always had service with a smile. The breakfast is room is spacious with plenty of different breakfast items to choose from. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The day after we left I received a call from Veronica, the housekeeper found my credit card in the room. Veronica said she would mail it to my home address. When I got home it was in an envelope with a nice note. I had a great stay here and the people here who showed integrity and honesty made it even better.
The rooms are very clean and the free breakfast is very large compared to other places we have stayed. The food is good as well. I will definitely be returning to this location the next time we travel down south.
This hotel is easy to get to from Highway 5 in Everett. I was pleasantly surprised that my room had a full size refrigerator and microwave. It also had a small two burner cooktop. The necessary utensils were available in the room. My room was smaller- one queen bed, which is what I requested. It was clean and well appointed. It was also quiet- in middle on the second floor. The front desk clerk did not mention that breakfast was served from 6:00am to 9:30am. When I was looking around the hotel the next morning I saw the breakfast room which was being cleared. I could not print from the business center as document in the information in my room indicated. To print my boarding pass, I had to email it to the front desk and have them print it. When I called the front desk from outside the hotel, I kept getting put into the Sales Managers voice mail. Never reached the front desk. The clerk at the front desk ignored my questions about this problem.
When we arrived, we were exhausted so - no pictures. However, the cost of the room was very reasonable and in an excellent location since we were attending an event at the Angel of the Winds arena. I would definitely stay there again. The front desk staff was excellent and the room was clean. Not many TV channels to choose from, but we were so busy we barely noticed
This hotel and location worked well enough for my business trip. They set me up with a grab & go breakfast since I left before breakfast was served each morning. The pool was closed due to construction while I was there which didn't affect me but others weren't pleased. The only real complaint I had was that the rooms are not quiet. I could hear people walking around thier room above me and around me as well as TV's etc. If you need to be in bed early and rise early, it's not ideal.
The motel decor and vibe is dark and old. The room was the same although the bed and pillows were comfortable. OK breakfast. Pool was out of commission. Hair dryer broke and water would not turn off in bathtub.
The rooms were all clean and roomy. The beds were firm and with plenty of pillows. The biggest issue was the water saving issues in the restroom! The toilets are tiny and very uncomfortable to sit on. The shower needed more pressure, and specificity at the Cascadia in the faucets splattered water everywhere, all because in the interest of saving on water. There are updated ways to save without sacrificing performance.
Best Western can be relied upon to supply you with a good room and ample breakfast and that's what we got. An extra blanket would have been nice. Bed was a little softer than I care for, but clean. There is an excellent restaurant a block away called Terracotta Red but drive, don't walk as there are a lot of homeless in the area. There are no views from this hotel so it' not a holiday destination.
Many years ago, it was Best Western's practice to just buy existing motels and more or less leave them as they were. Some were better than others, some not so great. It was a real crap shoot when you pulled into a Best Western. Now, with the advent of Plus and Signature, the properties are well kept and a pleasure to stay in. And, for the most part, offer good breakfast, ADA rooms, and acceptance of pets (though there is a charge). Mostly we have found that a guest can need an ADA room OR have a pet, but not both. I guess that's just being picky, although I wonder what guests in wheelchairs with service animals do. But I digress. Our stay at the Everett, Washington property was pleasant and enjoyable. Even though it was just a block from busy Interstate 5, there was no highway noise, and we even had a room facing the highway. We stayed here with our small Bichon dog, and were put in an area of the hotel where other dog owners were staying, on the first floor, near the back door. I rather liked this, as it was very convenient to the outside grassy areas, and we met other dog lovers. We never heard another dog bark, nor did we hear any traffic in the room above.. I would say that this hotel is well sound-proofed. There is an elevator for the 3 floors. The only criticism I have is that if one approaches from the west (not off I-5) there is no visible sign for the hotel. All that is visible is the sign for the adjacent Chinese restaurant. We completely missed it, and had to drive under I-5 and turn around in a busy industrial area and head back west. On the I-5 side of the hotel, the sign is huge and not hard to see at all. They should fix this, as not all guests are exiting from I-5.
From the check in service, to the clean room with a very comfortable bed, and a wonderful breakfast buffet, this is my favorite hotel in the Everett, WA area. Now that Paine Field is offering commercial flight service, this hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the airport, making it a very convenient place to stay.
Clean, comfortable and very welcoming staff. A great breakfast is included and offers lots of choice. Have stayed here many times over the years and find that the overall quality of the facility has been maintained at a high level.
The BW Cascadia Inn at Everett WA provides a comfortable room with a delicious breakfast. The hotel seems somewhat dated and slightly worn, but overall comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
They need to get on the stick when something needs fixing. When we come up here for the weekend, this is the hotel of choice. It's comfortable, quiet, clean, and everything else we look for. But...when (and if) you contact the desk about a problem in your room, don't hold your breath. As we were leaving the hotel yesterday for a day of geocaching, I told the desk clerk that the toilet seat in our room was broken, and needed to be replaced. Twelve---yes, 12! hours later, when we got back, not only was it not fixed, whoever was supposed to fix it had not even been in the room. The seat was just where I left it, and it was still broken. I'd be willing to bet that it was reported as repaired, though. This apparent lack of interest on someone's part is what kept my rating as 3.
The receptionists were very friendly and accommodating. They let us checked in 3 hrs early than normal. The hotel itself is well kept and cleaned. So glad that there was a small fitness area too. Our stay there was very relaxing, definitely would come there.
Not to attractive on the outside but wait until you walk through the front door. I will be visiting this area every month for the next 10 months this will definitely see where I stay outstanding service wonderful people great breakfast beautiful quiet rooms clean rooms and a wonderful workout center and I sync Best Western Cascadia Inn for making my stay a great one
I spent several days in Everett and stayed at the Cascadia. The room I had was on the second floor all the way in the back. The first thing I noticed was the large number of semi trucks taking up space in the back parking area. Then I realized that there is a warehouse business right behind the hotel which wasn't a problem until those trucks ( parked on the rumble strips) needed to leave. The way the park make it difficult to get into and out of the hotel parking lot. But the trucks weren't the only problem with noise. As a previous reviewer stated this property gets a lot of construction and military personnel. At 6:00 a.m. I was roused from a decent sleep by a group of ten hardhat wearing dolts laughing, swearing, smoking, and gabbing outside my window. They piled into a van after 15 minutes but I was already awake. Those same types made it uncomfortable for this lone female traveler to comfortably use the back exits as that is where they would congregate to smoke at all hours. The room was fine..surprisingly clean . Desk clerk was friendly. Not sure if I would stay again given the clientele and noise.
Good rooms for value! Very Clean! Maid service great! And is Doggy friendly
The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the breakfast room and food was more than expected. So why not five stars? The floor would have been more comfortable than their hard as concrete beds! That was the only disappointing feature.
I was concerned about noise as the hotel is next to the I-5. Our room faced toward the highway but we didn't hear any noise at all. The hotel was clean and breakfast hot items were hot and continually topped up. It is close to the Museum of Flight and Combat well worth a day spent there.
This was the perfect stay for us. We do alot of road trips and keep moving so we look for a comfortable bed, good shower and hearty breakfast and this stay provided all those things. Rooms are super clean and beds very comfortable. Best motel breakfast we've had in 25 years of road trips.
We stayed for 4 nights and found everything fine. The room was clean, the lobby was big and open offering a place to sit and free papers daily. Check in and out were easy and we were greeted warmly any time we came through the lobby. Breakfast was well done and kept full (eggs, meats, breads, waffles, cereals, drinks, etc). The hotel property itself was in need some some general repair and that appeared to be going on. The property seemed nearly empty with us only seeing 5-6 people at breakfast daily. Keep in mind the property is 20-30 miles from Seattle city center. During busy travel times it could be an hour or more to get into the city, but the hotel is right off I-5 allowing easy access to north or south drives.
My family stayed here a few weeks ago. We originally had booked two adjoining rooms for our family of 5 as we all needed to be out the door early the next morning and needed two bathrooms. When we got to our room, we discovered that the rooms were not adjoining, which we needed for our young family. My husband went to the front desk, where they informed him that the people in our adjoining room decided to stay another night so they booted us from our reservation(??!!!). The front desk employee put us up in a suite which we thought would be ok. Upon entering the suite, we discovered there was one king bed and one single pull out bed. That left two of us without a place to sleep. Back down to the front desk...we are booked solid, they told us. We got two rollaway beds to add to our "suite." The rooms were dirty, the elevators are scary and the hotel is just tired and out of date. We usually love Best Western, but this one did not live up to the reputation. Breakfast was OK, but we were all happy to leave the next morning. My advice would be to head a little further south to Lynnwood where there are better, similarly priced hotels to choose from.
Stayed one night in Everett, at the Best Western Cascadia Inn. Hotel old, musty smelling, breakfast was mediocre, hallways all up and down hill, scary elevator, staff was friendly but don't ask any questions as they charge you for tourist advice! We just asked where closest restaurant was. Outdoor pool so was unable to use.
The breakfast meal really stood out as memorable. The food was fresh, hot and very delicious. Above what l have experienced at any other motel. Better than many restaurants. The staff was kind courteous and helpful. Very nice stay. I would give 4 thumbs up if l had them to give. Instead 2 big thumbs up.
We were pleased with the welcoming young lady at reception, so helpful and pleasant! The ladies at check out were also so cheerful and helpful.Breakfast was good and the lady working there was super. I got the feeling everyone we dealt with during our stay was an excellent employee who takes pride in their job. We will return to BW on our next trip.
great stay, the room was so quiet it seemed like we were the only ones in the hotel. During the day when we would travel to the lounge then we would see other quests and of course we weren't all alone but the rooms were spacious and the quietest I had expereninced in a long time,
We were attending a NYE party at a friends house out of town and wanted to stay nearby. We always seek out BW properties based on past experiences. We were not disappointed-BW came through again. We were warmly greeted and made to feel welcome. All entrances require a key card and are on surveillance cameras. The room and beds were comfy cozy and the breakfast was yummylicious.
Attending an Everett Silvertips game and this hotel is i easy walking distance. Best Western is my sought after hotel when travelling. It ALWAYS is comfortable, affordable, clean, I always know what to expect and BW has never let me down.
We stayed at this hotel passing through the area and the hotel itself was okay, clean, pretty comfortable but the area was ROUGH. No offence to the population of the town of Everett but don't go walking this area by yourself at night. Its fine if you are passing through and need a decent place to rest your head and then get back on I5 though.
Really enjoyed the room and outdoor hot tub. It was quiet and enjoyable. The exercise room is basic with a few treadmill machines, matts and free weights. The breakfast was disappointing. There were only two couples in the room when we arrived and an hour left for breakfast. The eggs and sausage patties were old and not appetizing. 30 minutes later they were refreshed - after being checked a couple of times - and no more people coming in for breakfast. Seemed odd to put out lots of fresh food 30 minutes before breakfast ends without lots of people there to eat it.
If you are looking for a hotel in this area then by all means I would consider it. The heat pump needs some maintenance in the room that I stayed. Also the only place you can find a receptacle in the room is at the sink and two on the light between the beds.Next Best Western is my favorite brand of hotels. With that said if I am going for business where I know I want to be able to use my laptop, I would always pick IHG branded hotels. As a rewards member with them you log in with your IHG account credentials and have a much better internet experience.
This Best Western is fairly average. Clean rooms, helpful friendly staff. Some problems were analog TV only (no HD TV), inadequate area for dogs, and the bed made my back hurt 2 days in a row. The ADA room was large and had great bars in the bathroom. I am not sure I would stay here again.
Cascadia Best Western is great for business or pleasure. Great hot breakfast. Pool & hot tub. Great new exercise room. Clean facility. Comfortable rooms and beds. Close to freeway. Hot coffee 24 hours. Truck/RV parking. Very competitive rates.
We were visiting family in Lake Stevens so had booked a room for three nights. Wendy at the front desk checked us in and gave very concise instructions regarding which lot to park in to be closest to our room. We were on the 3rd floor right next to the elevator. I was concerned about the potential noise - but honestly I noticed very little noise! I was a bit concerned about safety/security because of one review I had read. I talked to my daughter who is very familiar with the area and she allayed my fears somewhat. She indicated it can be a high traffic area because of it's proximity to the interstate and other transit systems however the police department is fairly close and patrols frequently - plus the hotel has their own security staff overnight. We had no issues whatsoever. Our room was very nice, very comfortable with a corner window. The breakfast area was very spacious & clean with an extremely wide variety of items. Staff were constantly replenishing items and wiping off counters and tables. A pleasant surprise was that no matter how late we left the room for the day - housekeeping took care of everything after we left. Restocked towels, toiletries - the whole deal. When we checked out Wendy was at the desk again along with a young man who I assumed was in charge. Again a very friendly interchange ensued. They seemed very interested about how our stay had been. We will stay again the next time we make the trip!
Decent free breakfast and friendly competent staff. The bed was comfortable and I appreciated the frig and stove in the larger than usual room. Finding an entry from the parking lot was difficult in the dark so look for one close to your room in the daylight if you can.
I come up to visit family and found the hotel. I stay here every time now. they are Friendly, the facility is very clean and staff if kind. They have a wonderful free breakfast. Sometimes i eat in the dinning room which is nice and large and other times i take it up to my room. I look forward to staying here on each visit.
Good bang for the buck here. Out door pool was clean and tidy. Room was older but also very clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Had a good sleep, staff was friendly and helped us find an amazing place for dinner. Just off the highway easy access. We opted to find elsewhere for breakfast as they had no gluten free options, but what they did have looked good. Would stay again!
Great pet policy, great breakfast, excellent beds, quiet convenient location! The location has a very nice indoor pool, and the staff is wonderful. I had absolutely no issues with my stay despite the downtown Everett location.
Stayed here for 1 night in on August 9th. Room was spacious and had air-con. Shower over bath which was a good size. Plenty of space for belongings, camera personal items etc. Fridge in room, which we did not use. Coffee making facilities (also not used). Comfortable bed. Small outdoor pool looked okay but didn't use.
We spent 3 nights here with several family members. We were very comfortable with a good sized room and a frig and microwave. The bed was comfy, the room quiet, and they have a very good complimentary breakfast. The swimming pool is clean and a good size.
I've been driving for 5 days straight, my back was in bad shape, and I just wanted to soak in the hot tub for a few minutes before going to bed. I arrived at 9:55, and was told I had to get out because the pool was closed. I'm 45, alone, and a very capable swimmer. I just wanted to soak a few minutes. I understand that it would invite more people to join the party, but the place was quiet. When I explained that I just needed a few minutes, Barney Fife was adamant I leave immediately. Would it really have been a big deal to let me soak for a few minutes after your closed time? I think you're security guard needs to dial it back a little. He's taking his job a little too seriously. When I went to bed, I pulled the sheets back to find a tissue smashed flat between the sheets. I can't figure out how a tissue (blue, not white as was in the room) would make it into the bed between the sheets when it was made, presumably with fresh sheets. My mind keeps going back to someone having used the tissue while in bed, dropped it, then house keeping just made the bed instead of stripping and making with fresh sheets every time. Pretty disgusting.
I stayed at this property on 7/24 & 25/18. It is an older property but looks like it has been renovated recently. Everything worked and looked ok, but you can tell is its older. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
Excellent hotel and great price. Very clean and breakfast was great had alot to select from. Easy check in and out. Awesome customer service. Easy access to the free way and stores and restaurants. Would definetly stay again in the future.
Made a quick trip to Snohomish for a wedding and stayed here. Clean and cozy hotel, comfortable bed, two sinks(great for two people getting ready at the same time, very useful), right off the main road. What really set it apart was Wendy who worked the front desk. She was welcoming when we got there with no reservation, we got a great room and very helpful. Wendy also went WAY above and beyond when some unforeseen circumstances arose(ours, not the hotels). Thanks Wendy for being so helpful!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Cascadia Inn on Pacific Ave in Everett, Washington. Their daily breakfast is really delicious with a good variety of items to choose from. Our room, on the first floor, was very comfortable and we were able to get laundry done in their coin-operated machines. Also, there was coffee available in the lobby at all times. Thank You Best Western!
Nice room, clean and quiet. O.K. for a night. A bit expensive though. What we did not enjoy: Obviously this hotel is mainly for the needs of business travellers, so they have breakfast until 9 which is quite early when you are on holiday. The breakfast was good, but the room was too small for a hotel of this size.
Hubby and I stayed at Cascadia Inn recently( July 6-8/2018) and I would like to make a few comments on our experience. We were checked in quickly and efficiently by Fernanda who was also kind enough to give me a map of where to park and how to get into the building from the side door. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of delicious options and the dining area was always kept clean. Check out was just as quick and efficient, done by Wendy. All in all we had a very pleasant stay. Conveniently located close to I-5..our room did face towards it but hardly heard any traffic. Given the opportunity we will definitely be staying here again
A pleasant surprise. I went to pick up mom from the airport. Right off the highway and an easy access to/from the airport. The desk attendant was very helpful with my check in. Worth the $ for the stay.
The BW Cascadia Inn is conveniently located right off of I5 and close by to downtown Everett. Rooms have lots of space and many come equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave and a Keurig. The hotel also has free wi-fi and a breakfast which will knock your socks off. Delicious! We wouldn't stay anywhere else if visiting Everett and vicinity.
We stayed here before our cruise. It is directly off the interstate but not noisy. Front desk check in person was friendly and efficient. The room was large and roomy with a desk area. There was an outside pool and hot tub. Although they had no restaurant, there was a Denny's and Chinese restaurant next to it. Breakfast was great with hot items of scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and waffles as well as cold items (yogurt, cereal, fruit, muffins, fruit salad). Price was reasonable too.
Has a nice stay in this hotel, staff were Uber nice and sweet here are some pros and cons PROS Free Shuttle service Free Breakfast Clean nice hotel rooms AMAZING OUTSIDE POOL & HOT TUB Good Chinese are restaurant close by CONS Please have smokes not smoke right at the entrance and leave the crap everywhere it's 25 feet.
Our room was clean and the bed comfortable but the pillows are terrible and the staff was less than congenial. The breakfast buffet was very good with lots of hot food. We requested express checkout and that didn't happen.
After a long days drive, our room was just perfect. It was the standard room, it was affordable, had a king bed, kitchenette, it was large and spacious, bed was comfortable. It was affordable, and the price included a full continental breakfast. The only negative was their wifi, it was frustratingly slow !! Otherwise highly recommend !!
It's an $89/night motel. You get what you pay for. It's clean, great staff, basic room, uncomfortable beds, great breakfast buffet included with stay, outdoor pool in an Everett motel = no pool really.
The hotel was perfectly fine except the beds were the worst I have ever had. Sleeping on the floor would have probably been more comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We asked for extra towels and coffee. This was delivered promptly. We realize the staff had no control over the poor quality of the beds. By the time we realized the beds were so bad, it was really too late to move us to a different room.
The downside is the road noise from the highway, and we were facing away from it. If you are looking for easy access and easy to find this is the place. If you are looking for peace and quiet..... We were here 5 years ago and it looks about the same as it did then. The beds are very comfortable, generous sized rooms and great breakfasts. Just in need of some freshening up and bringing up to date. That will bring along some price increases, but it was the cheapest we found in the area we needed. The staff are awesome and keen to help, recommended some very good restaurants nearby and good advice for the neighbourhood. Overall 8/10 and if budget comes into it 9/10, we would stay here again.
I was trying to stay with the best western brand and this was on my route. I was told to park in the back but did not feel safe. It was a Really dark back lot. I parked on the street and was glad to find a spot there. Small elevator, and long sloped Halls with sharp angles made the luggage cart difficult. I will choose another property next time I travel alone. I felt security was lax.
We stayed only one night as we were just passing thru. The front desk attendant was very helpful with dinner recommendations. The room and hotel facilities were clean. There was plenty of parking spaces near the entrances. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was great and the staff worked hard at keeping everything stocked and clean.
The hotel was largely disappointing after reading a number of the good reviews prior to booking. The hotel is situated in an area where I did not feel comfortable having my family. When we first walked into the hallway of the 2nd floor after checking in, at 4:00pm, we walked past a prostitute leaving one of the rooms. There were 2 drunk kids making obscenities in her direction and this happened all in front of my kids... not a great first impression of the hotel. The room was in decent shape and clean. It was obvious that the hotel had gone a reno at some point with updated finishings, but the hotel itself is old. We could hear conversations and every step from the room above us, even though they weren't even being that loud. At 3am we were woken up by a drunk guy and even drunker young female crawling down the hall, so needless to say it was a restless night. The only positive worth mentioning was the staff. The lady who checked us in was nice and professional. I definitely will NOT be returning to the Best Western.
Pros: Was in Room 223 it had a stove, cooking utensils and ample space. Close to the elevator. Shuttle worked ok, Breakfast was as expected wish they had Oats. Cons: Back entrance smells like an ash tray ... Softer sheets would be nice. Summary: Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable, Denny's has a better Bar and better price than Hunan Chinese Restaurant!
I've stayed at this hotel several times prior and have always enjoyed my stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great breakfast buffet, what more can you ask for. Central location, easy freeway access. Great choice if ever in Everett.
Everything was awesome...breakfast was great, room was clean, hot tub was available. employees were awesome. room was very nice and clean every day. I really enjoy staying at this hotel. I have stayed on all three floors in the past 6 months for business and have had no problems with any of the rooms on any of the floor. only one room did not have a desk but I went down and requested a room with a desk and got one with no problem. quick and courteous to change it for me.
Hotels near Seattle are always high. This one is always making those small repairs and touching up the paint to keep it looking shiny and new. Everything is clean and the rooms are comfortable. Good breakfast.
We received great service for our stay. Hotel beds/pillows generally are lousy, but both bed and pillow were fabulous. Slept like a baby. Would definitely return to this hotel on next visit to Everett Wa. .
My recent star at the Best Western Cascadia in Everett, WA was superb! The rooms are clean, nice and welcoming as is the very professional staff. The location is pretty convenient for central and downtown Everett, but not even a challenge for Lynwood, or Marysville commuters. I found my stay comfortable and welcoming, which is all one can hope for in a hotel, but the friendly staff was the cherry on this dessert of a business trip that nicely finished off a rough few days of travel. I will return, for sure.
I initially had concerns with this hotel's location, as it is very close to I-5 and in a very busy area of town. I was pleased with how quiet & comfortable our room was. We were on the side facing away from the interstate, and I imagine that helped. We were near the ice maker, but either no one used it while we were in the room or we didn't hear it. I briefly heard a train, but if I'd been asleep I doubt I would have heard it. (I'm a fairly light sleeper. The bed was delightfully comfortable. The room was in excellent condition. The free breakfast was pretty standard: scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon, biscuits & gravy, instant oatmeal, cereal, waffles, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt. The coffee was pretty dreadful, but I like my coffee on the strong side. (I only tried the decaf, and people frequently make decaf weak.) I didn't see any non-dairy milk options; if you require that, plan ahead. (The rooms have refrigerators in them.) There's an outdoor pool that was - understandably - closed during our late-November visit. There's no fitness center. The front desk person was cheerful, despite having been at the desk when we checked in at 9:45 p.m. and back on duty when I passed through the lobby at 7:00 a.m. I will definitely stay here again. I selected "very good" instead of "excellent" for service because nothing happened that I considered outstanding. It's not a knock against the motel or its staff; I'm just kinda fussy about service and I don't hand out 5-star ratings as a matter of course.
Stayed here in November 2017 to be convenient to the Future of Flight and Boeing Factory Tour in Mukilteo. The staff at the hotel was wonderful and helpful when (for some reason) my keycard kept becoming demagnetized, so I was at the front desk 3 or 4 times, each time the staff were kind and courteous. The room seemed on the older side with an odd amount of unused space (roughly half the room was just empty) but for a basic hotel did everything right. Extremely clean, comfortable bed, great breakfast.
The property is in disrepair, the toilet water valve wouldn't work so the maintenance man jiggled the valve and told us it was fixed it wasn't. The staff doesn't follow best western rules on billing, billed for a 7 day stay even though I checked out after 1 night was told that only the manager could do the refund.Had to contact best western customer service to get any help
I stay in Everett once a month to attend an early morning business meeting. Normally I stay at the Hampton Inn but thought I would try to save $30.00 and stay here. In general it was a good stay. The room I had was on the west side, away from the freeway and was very quiet. This was definitely appreciated. However, upon sliding under the covers I became concerned that I would have a difficult time sleeping. The bed, though very clean, was comprised of bed covers that could best be described as a portion of chain link fence surrounded by a horse hair blanket. I was concerned that if I turned too fast I might suffer a significant abrasion from the bedding. On the positive side this concern was so overwhelming that I was able to focus on it and not on the myriad of normal worries that tend to occupy one's mind at night and was therefore able to fall asleep. I was careful to move slowly while in the bed in order to avoid bleeding on the sheets though they were more like 60 grit sandpaper than actual sheets. I awoke in approximately the same position that I fell asleep in. Apparently my subconscious mind protected me while asleep. Upon waking I took advantage of the very nice coffee maker and had a nice shower with copious amounts of hot water available. The wifi was also very good. Fast and easy to connect to. Pros: The hotel is clean. The staff are friendly. The price is right. Nice coffee maker and great wifi. Cons: Nearly medieval level bedding in the room that I stayed in.
We loved this place! Easy to find, off the freeway and awesome hot buffet breakfast! We arrived very late and Bruce was kind enough to get me 2 extra blankets and walk them to our room at the other end of the hotel. Close the Lake Stevens where we have family and an awesome sushi restaurant a 4 min walk away. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
I was trying to budget for my business trip and rough it a bit so expectations were low...This place is AMAZING! Great location; easy in easy out for business or pleasure AND room was clean, p to date and in perfect order! Hands down one THE BEST BW I have ever stayed in..
Good value plus a great breakfast. One great feature was the proximity to the Everett bus terminal - just a short walk if you choose, but there was even a bus stop right outside the hotel. I used the bus system to travel all around the area and into and around Seattle. Beats the Seattle traffic.
It's very good for what it is... a 2 star hotel. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room spacious and clean. My sister and I really appreciated two sinks in the bathroom. The view of autumn trees and the craggy Cascade Mountain range was a pleasant surprise! The breakfast was good, better than others I've had at similar hotels. I docked a point for the noisy heater and lack of enough wall outlets. With phones, computers, and medical equipment to power we couldn't plug everything in at the same time.
We arrived last night for medical conference, pleasant staff, soft drink machines sold out. Then this morning toilet overflowing, first sink by coffee maker plugged, this is not a very maintained facility, our last stay here
When it comes to money, that's thier number one priority. You can sheer a sheep many times, but only kill it once. They prefer to take what they can instead of earning return business. Too bad.. Will not return
We got a nice corner room with a king size bed and it was great. The breakfast was warm and had my favorite waffles. It truly has everything you want and nice and quiet even though it's close to the Freeway.
Pretty standard Best Western. Clean, decent sized rooms, updated look. Continental breakfast was also standard to Best Westerns. Staff was helpful enough. The location was also typical for a highway hotel--nearby some quick diners and gas stations but not much else. Perfect for a one-night stay on the way to Canada.
I stay at this hotel for convenience to freeway-close to Marysville and Boeing. As a single traveler I feel safe-the beds are comfortable, breakfast tasty. I stay a minimum of 2 times each year for a week each time
Bed was terrible! Worn out! Slept on springs! Supposed to be non smoking but hallway stunk of cigarettes and came into our room. Toilet seat broke off after one use. People above very loud and ceiling sounded like it was going to fall in on us.
I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness of the room. The staff that I interacted with were very professional and really helpful. The location was perfect for the business i needed to conduct in the area. Would definitely recommend.
Good hot breakfast with lots of choices; hotel was easy to find; convenient to I5; front desk helpful and welcoming; noisy AC cycling off and on at night; toilet rocked (not securely fastened to the floor);
Our room was clean and well appointed. The bedding was of exceptional quality. We have stayed at the hotel before and will stay again. The lobby of the hotel is very pretty. Even though we were near the freeway the room was quiet.
Wonderful, professional, friendly, helpful, courteous staff. Very clean facilities. Conveniently located. Multiple transit options within walking distance. Courtesy shuttle within 5 mile radius including dining on Puget Sound.
Always enjoy staying at the Best Western Cascadia Inn in Everett, WA, coming back home for my family reunions. The room and bed are comfortable and clean; I always feel safe. Love the hot breakfast every morning. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit.
Stayed one night...was our second time at this location. Location is in city center. Comfortable bed, clean room, one of the best "breakfast included" we've had compared to other hotels. Good quality. Will stay again.
We stayed here in July while visiting Seattle. Nice place, clean, comfortable and very affordable. Pet friendly. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Continental breakfast was good and they change it up daily. Gave 3 stars because I felt the bathroom was small and hotel a little dated. Long walk from my room to the front desk. But would definitely stay again.
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Not a bad breakfast and comfy rooms. We utilized the outside pool and it was clean and a little on the cool side. The rooms are older, but clean. There was some evidence of ongoing maintenance in the stairway.
The bed was comfortable. The breakfast had some variety- standard waffle maker, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, sausage one morning and bacon the next. It's clean. The pool was good. Not in the best part of town.
Comfortable hotel, easy access to lots of different area; VERY helpful staff. They made dining suggestions and had a map of the area showing different amenities. Weather was beautiful, the complimentary breakfast looked good although we were not there long enough to try it. We would stay there again!
Stayed here wirh our soccer team. They loved the pool. Bed was not comfortable for me. Pillows too small and lumpy blanket was too thin and very scratchy not comfortable at all. Overall good experience
The front desk staff had all the warmth of a log, and about the same apparent interest in service. A twice-requested early check in was promosed, but no follow through. When I was checked in, my complaint was met with a voiced apology lacking any sincerity. Later, the out of order sign was left on the elevator when the fronf sesk said it had been fixed.
We arrived Thursday to attend a relative's Bar Mitzvah. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Really enjoyed the full breakfast. We had a good view of the city. Checkout was fast and efficient. Overall a pleasant stay.
Highly recommended if visiting Everett to watch the Everett Aqua Sox s Baseball Game! Very friendly staff, accommodating to the guess needs without question. If you need toiletries they have a variety available at the front desk. Daily newspaper, Breakfast, travel maps and surrounding travel information available and pet friendly (are welcome) Very comfortable beds
This was our third or fourth stay at this location. Easy to get to from freeway. Great price, clean room (I was a maid years ago, I know where to look), comfortable bed and a great breakfast. Busy location but I didn't notice noise either from hallway or outside and they seemed to be near full.
Great value for the price. Was there on a Business/Family trip. The breakfast was way above average, clean bed-sheets, clean bathroom. Carpet was grungy and not clean. We were not around during the day, did not sue any amenities, only at night to sleep. No issues in the parking lot.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff that was also very helpful. Rooms were clean and the fridge and microwave were a nice touch. Only real complaint was our AC was a little noisy and we could have used more towels. All this and the all you can eat breakfast that was really good made for a great stay. It's also close to a few stellar restaurants in the area.
As with the first visit the BW Cascadia Inn is a very good place to stay. Check-in was fast and the room spacious and clean. The bath also was clean a fairly large. The bed was huge and comfortable. Complimentary TV, Wifi, and a nice breakfast all included in the room rate. There is free parking, and a nice swimming pool. The hotel is located very close to Everett Station, about a 10 minute walk away. Amtrak, Greyhound and Sound Transit all available to take you where you need to go. Looking forward to my next visit to the BW Cascadia Inn
We stayed for a wedding in the area. So several great rooms rented by our extended family. While we were placed on same floor, we were at the opposite ends of building which was only complaint.Decore was very nice and room and bed comfortable.
Stayed three nights for a business trip and chose the Cascadia Inn based on proximity to my venue and free parking, in spite of the two star rating. Front desk staff was warm, efficient and engaged. Layout of hotel is a little odd and warren-like with winding, narrow hallways and one of two elevators broken, which affects upstairs access. Got to the room and was very pleased. Fairly contemporary decor, single queen bed and kitchenette with and cooking/serving stuff. Smallish full-size refrigerator. Bed was not the best, but certainly workable. No views to speak of--hotel is in downtown industrial area next door to a seedy looking Chinese restaurant and the only Denny's I've ever seen with a bar ("would you like a Mimosa with your Grand Slam breakfast...?"). Internet worked great, but like some other Best Westerns, required username/password login every time I re-entered the room with phone or laptop. I traveled with my wife, who slept in each day and left the "don't disturb" sign out, hoping to save the staff a room reset. She says she'd walk to the soda machine or go out to the car for five minutes and invariably she'd get back and the room had been magically serviced, no staff to be seen. Wow. There is a mid-day train that goes by, but nothing at night. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed here with the kids for one night on our way to a show in Seattle. The room was clean and staff was friendly. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. There is construction and that made it a bit less appealing but I know it's to improve the property. We did get a room with a pullout/sofa bed and they say 2 can sleep on it but there is no way. Our kids are young and it wasn't big enough for the 2 of them. Would stay here again.
Not a bad hotel, but for the money, I expected better. The A/C unit didn't seem to keep up with the temp and humidity. We didn't report it though. The common areas were clean and wide hallways. I felt comfortable taking the stairway. It was well lit and open. The laundry facility, which we used, could have been better maintained. The breakfast was good. It was so busy when were there with families it was crazy. The two attendants were very good at keeping food hot and the area clean.
I stayed here for 1 night. The hotel staff who checked us in were efficient and friendly. They let us check in a little early and even worked with me to find a quiet room. We stayed in room 340 a King room (not a suite). The room was clean but there was a whiff of cigarette smoke like someone had smoked in the room with the window open. The bathroom had a curved rod so the shower felt larger, there was a keurig with some very good coffee, a fridge and a microwave. The tv allowed us to connect our computer with an HDMI cord. We used the pool 2x and Jacuzzi once. The pool is incredibly clean, not over chlorinated and not too cold. The pool deck has tables with umbrellas and a stack of pool towels. Breakfast was fantastic. The selection was small but the food was fresh and good quality (real eggs, great biscuits and gravy and fresh fruit). Their coffee was even pretty good. There was only one issue which brought the hotel down 2 full stars. The bed felt like I was sleeping on bags of gravel. Hard and lumpy. When I checked out I told the front desk I would love to return but couldn't if all the beds were that hard. She said "all the beds are the same" but that she would ask the housekeeper. Unsurprisingly I didn't get a call to tell me if any beds were better quality. I'd love to return but only if I can actually get some quality sleep.
Unfortunately our stay was just a stop overnight. The ease of access on and off the I5 was very welcoming after a long day in the car. Breakfast service was above average, and appealed to even our most pickiest member of our group. Thank you, to the staff at the BW Cascadia Inn!!
I dislike writing bad reviews, but BW Cascadia earned it. Only 1 desk clerk was on duty at 2 pm; she was carrying on a phone conversation while not acknowledging lobby guests. Returned after 3 pm & room wasn't ready. Confusion over whether I had registered earlier. Too many "Sorry about that" from reception staff. It's in a sketchy neighborhood on a busy/noisy street. They can't do anything about that, though. It's just not okay for us. Some patrons/visitors were sketchy as well: obscene t-shirt, ankle monitor, & the cab-fare evading, screaming druggie wandering the corridors and street made our family of 5 very uncomfortable. Nearly all employees--desk,, housekeeping, breakfast room--seemed indifferent. Housekeeping didn't replenish amenities; 1 shampoo & lotion for 2 guests from Friday to Sunday isn't enough. Good stuff: handicapped room had multiple grab bars & elongated toilet seat. Room, pool & deck were spotless. Breakfast was amazing w/a huge selection eggs, biscuits/gravy, bacon or sausage, fresh/canned fruit, waffles, etc. Daily newspapers are appreciated. My requirements are safe, clean, comfortable. Cascadia was clean, yes, but safe & comfortable not so much. We would stay elsewhere next time.
This was fine hotel with friendly staff and very nice complimentary breakfast. It is farther from downtown Seattle than it looks like it is going to be. We were surprised at how far out it was. With traffic it took more than an hour to get there from Seattle--be prepared for the drive.
Great place to stay with family. The amenities were good, including room, internet and other facilities. Breakfast was also good with multiple items including cereals, fruits, eggs etc. Will come here next time !!
We checked in early, since we arrived much earlier than planned. Staff very friendly, hotel clean and neat. Very nice full breakfast, lots of selections. This place is about 30 minutes drive to pike street market, and Seattle Center. We stayed 3 nights using it for our base to travel back and forth to Seattle and it seemed to work out great. Lots of small restaurants nearby in Everett, gas station with market walking distance to Hotel. If you are looking for a great place to stay in or near Everett, this is the one. We drove up from California, and stayed in a couple other Hotels, however, this one is tops.
Great reviews and rates led me here as a Best Western Rewards member. Had everything I look for in a property. Super hot breakfast. Easy to find location north of Seattle off I-5. Denny's next door was good.
I was in Everett for a work-related weekend. When I stepped out of my room Saturday morning I was hit with dripping water above the door. I informed the desk. When I returned after 8pm, I was met with removed hallway ceiling tiles, a rag tied around pipes directing leaking water into buckets on the floor making it nearly impossible to get into my room. A sign on the door asked me not to turn off any of the faucets in my room. I entered the room to discover both hot water faucets were wide open and the tub was full to the very top with that faucet running as well. I went to the phone anticipating a message of apology and that they would be moving me to another room. I looked for a written message.Neither existed. There were two receptionists at the front desk. I explained the situation and the fact the room was not inhabitable wondering if they had another room ready for me. "Well, we're kind of full tonight". I replied that they would need to find a room in another motel then. "No". I asked one of them to accompany me to the room assuming they really didn't understand the unacceptable conditions. "No, we're kind of busy right now and can't leave." No one else was in the lobby. No phones were ringing. After more persistence, they agreed to put me in another room that seemed to suddenly become available. Price for value was questionable to start with. You will be happier spending a little more and going elsewhere! BTW The elevator was not working either.
This was a pretty good hotel. We stayed 3 nights when we were visiting the area and don't have much to complain other than the beds being too hard for our taste and one of the sinks just leaking all the time. Otherwise, the breakfast was great (they had pretty good fruit available), the employees were very helpful and nice, and the place was very clean and well kept. They are going through some maintenance (which is well needed) but it was still a very comfortable stay. Not to mention that it is very conveniently located next to the highway entrance and it has some good restaurants within walking distance.
Nice place to rest after a long day .. out away from truck .. friendly staff, good breakfast verities , clean .. good value for the dollar .. Good Location near xifinitty arena Hockey , Shows etc. ....
I was able to book this hotel late in the day. I got a discount for this being a working trip and my Best Western Elite status. The room was very clean and well kept, but as modern as other BW properties I have been at. It could have used a few more power outlets (like other BW hotels). Despite these minor things; it is still the best stay in Everett.
The room was oddly designed. Nothing in the room was level, including the towel rack. There was a lingering smokey smell. The breakfast was good, I fully support two waffle makers and a biscuit and gravy station.
I am a General Manager of a Best Western in eastern Washington. I was dissatisfied to a great extent and I have called the desk to get a billing issues resolved from my three night stay and I have yet to get a call back. The billing issue was a faction of the problems I had during my stay.
Most of the hotels north of Seattle tend to range in the divey-but-decent to best-to-be-avoided range; Best Western Cascadia Inn definitely falls into the former category. The location of this hotel is a little odd, in that it's centered in a section of Everett that's mostly warehouses, so it's not like you're going to get any great views from your windows. The building itself is also a bit old and worn around the edges, although the maintenance and housekeeping staff do a thorough job keeping it functioning and clean. The décor of the rooms is very basic, but if you're interested in doing any outdoor hiking activities in the North Cascades or the Mount Jackson Loop Highway, it really makes sense to stay in a hotel located in Everett. As such, this hotel is an excellent choice, and it helps that the staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Finally, if you want to drive up to Vancouver, Canada, staying in Everett can shave close to an hour off of your drive. I've stayed in several hotels in this area and this Best Western is, by far, the best choice.
My family and I enjoyed the breakfast and the pool/spa. We thought the rooms were clean and comfortable. The customer service was great. The cleaning service was discreet and quick and thorough. We would stay here again.
Stayed one night. Was disappointed to be assigned a room that had the window totally covered as were painting the outside of the building. A little warning or explanation was warranted. Room was old but clean. Beds and linens were so-so. A new breakfast room with many choices was nice. Not much in the area but did have enjoy a great dinner at a Thai Fusion restaurant 1 block from hotel on recommendation from the front desk person.
I stay at Best Western's for work quite a bit so i decided to stay here when i went to Washington for vacation. A mistake. This hotel is dated, horrible location, over priced, and the wifi was the worst I have ever seen. In a populated area there is no excuse for bad wifi these days. On vacation we rely on wifi so we can map out our days instead I'm paying my cell phone company for something the hotel should be offering for free. The area in which the hotel is located is sketchy which isn't the hotels fault but be warned. Overall I was not impressed and will not recommend or return to.
We loved this hotel - lovely big room - extremely comfy king bed and pillows - lovely bathroom - towels and toiletries - refrigerator - microwave - flat screen tv - the breakfast was lovely - fresh fruit - fruit juice - tea coffee - choice of bread/ bagels - yoghurts - eggs - 3 hot choices too - we loved and made use of the pool and hot tub - very clean - and was very well maintained - we would loved to have stayed here longer
Although it isn't much to look at from the outside (they are working on revovating), the room was very clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable and hot breakfast in the morning has something for everyone and a large variety. Staff was very friendly. Location is ok with restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores nearby. Only complaint is that when someone walks around in the room above, it is pretty noisy. Otherwise a good stay overall.
Hotel was not located where you'd expect with a more industrial location. We came off hwy 5 N and struggled to find the location. Even after stopping and checking google maps could not nail it down. Found it by spotting the sign behind a giant Chinese restaurant sign.
Just off the I-5 in the middle of Everett, WA is a nice, clean and well kept Best Western Cascadia Hotel. The rates are comparable to all other hotels, but the amenities are above their competition. Also, the staff is most professional and very helpful in all situations.
I was overcharged and clerk did no corrections when issue raised. They did different rates than promised for my three days. Forgot to charge for my dogs yet added that to the bill when I brought it up a second time
Service is very important to me and service and staff were excellent. Breakfast was hot and had a great variety to choose from. The pool is average but the spa tub had jets stronger than I had ever experienced. As a solo woman, My first room on the first floor near a back door made me nervous. Changed my room without question. The new room's air conditioner was noisy and they had completely changed it out before I got back. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. They had 4 different pillows to fit different needs. Wi-Fi worked well and the TV selections were quite varied. Although quite busy, the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Location is great just off the I5 but area folks say that it is not safe to walk outside alone at night.
Aside from the hallways reeking of Marijuana and the children in the room above us pounding all over the floor until 11:30pm..There were issues with the hotel itself. First of all the beds are ROCK HARD. I woke up and my back was killing me. Not to mention they are extremely squeaky. Even to just sit down it makes a loud noise. I could smell animal and woke up having an allergy attack. I reported this to the front desk and all she said was, "No. It's not a pet room". Didn't offer to switch me rooms or anything. Because no one ever sneaks pets into hotels right? :) Extremely frustrated. The hotel itself is nice if they would work on these things. Overall, needs work.
Although rooms were clean and furnishings adequate, entire facility really showing its age; free wifi was nonexistent; breakfast room too small; NOT a great neighborhood; Denny's across the street was gross!
We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was closest to the venue. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional. Great food and service
Checked in a 0230 AM, we were very tired - the people at the front desk were welcoming and pleasant. Room 127-A was a good fit for us, as I have difficulty getting around. The room was very nice, two queen beds, TV, coffee, hair dryer, everything we needed. Beds were firm and pillows were great, Quite honestly I don't remember if there was breakfast or not, as tired as we were, all I heard was a room # and headed for it. Slept very well. Check in was quick and easy. Stayed until the last minute..
This place is in desperate need of a remodel. The hallways were musty, the key card reader from the parking area was broken, there was a constant smell of pot that was strong enough for a contact high.
We stayed 1 night and had trouble finding the Hotel!! We knew it was on Pacific but didn't know there wasn't an exit heading south on I 5 freeway, only going north?? It was where we had never stayed before, hence the problem. Once we found it we missed the entrance, small sign, instead of HUGE sign on the roof or pole?? The exterior needs a paint job from fading in the rain and sun!! Once we check in everything was much better, especially the breakfast!! Best ever!! Will probably stay again, now that we know it's a hidden gem!!
The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean. The breakfast had many options. The outside of the building looks old. The picture on the TV was fuzzy and the remote had a delayed. Over all a good experience. I have stayed there before and would stay there again.
convenient location to Seattle Premium Outlet and Boeing future of flight tour. Staff are friendly. rooms are clean. There is an outdoor pool open until 10:00pm. I had impression that they have a indoor pool but maybe I checked the wrong website. Great value with free breakfast and fast WIFI.
Best Western was fine just an everyday stay in a area next to the freeway convent to on off areas in Everett or Lake Stevens. The restaurants were in walking distance coffee was not in the area had to drive.
It makes no difference who or what stature of the rewards program you obtained if you are not able to use the points before they expire or the rate remains the same no matter how many times you have stayed.
My first stay two weeks ago was fabulous. Great room with wet bar. Room was in the center of the building. This stay I was at the far end of the building and the internet/tv signals were awful. The room was standard queen. The counter for the coffee machine, etc very small. Whiskers in the sink from previous guest. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable. Value for my $ not as good as the first visit but I have booked another stay in 2 weeks. Have been in hotels in Everett/Kirkland area for the past month due to work. This one is the best option for the price. It is quiet at night and there doesn't appear to be any problems in the parking lot. Decent area for an early evening stroll and a couple of small cafes (other than Denny's) are within a 2 block walk north. Starbucks on Broadway is a 4 minute drive.
We were only in town for one night for a basketball tournament and wanted to use our rewards points. We had just enough points to book this hotel. I could tell as soon as we drove up that this was not going to be up to the Best Western standards that we're used to. The property itself is odd, with narrow sloping hallways that I could barely push the luggage cart up. There are things out of order that it appears they have no intention of actually fixing, just put a sign on it. Surprisingly the room was clean and comfortable enough and the breakfast was manageable. The eating room staff had trouble keeping coffee and juice filled but the food was the basically the usual BW stuff. I wouldn't stay here again. Next time we would definitely stay at the other Best Western in Everett.
I used to live in Everett, so the location was great, easy to get to places to eat or grocery stores, etc. Quiet, rooms adequate. Breakfast selections better than most. Very diligent staff cleaning and putting out new, fresh items.
Nice hotel located in downtown Everett. Right off the freeway. Breakfast was good. Room are good. Bed was a little firm for my liking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
We were in town for our friends wedding, and we stayed two nights here. The hotel seemed a little bit older but was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast with lots of options! We would stay here again.
I stayed at the Casdadia recently and I had a very good experience. I was in town visiting family and chose this hotel because my family didn't have room. I have worked at the front desk at a hotel for years. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathtub didn't drain very well and I told the front desk. They had someone come up and fix it that day. I went to the business center to print my boarding passes and the computers weren't working. They tried to get them fixed while I was there and they just couldn't fix the problem. The front desk agent offered to print out the passes. The breakfast was quite good and better than the one at the hotel I work at. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the housekeeping staff. The first day when housekeeping came by, I was visiting with my brother and sister-in-law. I asked for clean towels and for the garbage to be emptied, which housekeeping did. The next day, I was leaving for several hours and the housekeeping cart was at one end of the hall. When I came back, several hours later, the housekeeping cart was at the other end of the hall so I assumed my room had been serviced. It had not! I went to the housekeeper and asked her to please service my room. She did not speak much English so I just gave her my room number. I left again and when I returned a few hours later the room had been done. Just wondered why my room hadn't been serviced the first time.
The freeway (I-5) noise when you depart your vehicle in the breezeway is incredible. First impressions are no way this place will be peaceful. Enter the lobby, walk down the halls, enter your room...QUIET.! The morning meal is hot and ample. Eggs, potatoes, meats (bacon or sausage) biscuits and sausage gravy every day. Waffles, juice, hot coffee, milk cereal muffins fresh fruit toast yogurt and more. If you leave hungry you were late to wherever you're supposed to be! WiFi initially difficult to connect.
Very clean, good breakfast (included in price). Pretty typical Best Western. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good value for money, bed not bad. Close enough to highways for access, and far enough away that it is relatively quiet.
I enjoy staying here as their breakfast is above average for a standard hotel. The location is just off of I-5, so when I'm heading to my current contract project from the Bellingham airport, this is a convenient stop.
My husband and I stay here when visiting family nearby... Other than the pool and hot tub remodel... everything else about our stay here was great! Close to freeway, close to shopping and a grocery next door! Really nice breakfast!
Clean and tidy room, hot breakfast, friendly staff, near freeway and most attractions. Walking distance to some restaurants. Beautiful view at night. Quiet stay. Comfortable bed. Pool and hut tub available but was not ready when I stayed
The hotel met my basic Best Western standards. I got stuck in the stair well as the door was broken. To their credit it was fixed the day after I reported it. I also noticed the exterior of the building was coming apart. It left a questionable thought of how the rest of the hotel would be, but again they had that cleaned up in a couple of days. The rooms where clean for the price paid. The heating system was an all or nothing thing. There was no thermostat, just an on or off bottom for the heat. Other then that I would stay there again if the price was right. Wouldn't pay over $100 a night for the place.
overall experience was good. Location near restuarants and interstate was nice and convenient; staff was great. Only complaint was that in our room the toilet was too close to wall and paper dispensers, making it a bit awkward to sit straight.
The location is good employees super friendly overall the hotel is old and confuse to get around if it the first time there but is clean one think the I always look for a hotel is the hotel have to feel clean.
Stayed here overnight. Looks updated in some areas, layout a little funky. Easy access to freeway, easy check-in. Rooms were nice, fridge and microwave is a plus. One of the few rooms we've stayed in that was quiet. Nice beds and bathroom, I liked having 2 sinks, one in the bathroom and one outside, makes getting ready faster. Good breakfast too!
It is located within walking distance of the Silvertips arena and many restaurants. The room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable; however, the edges as you were getting out made a crinkle sound. The jacuzzi area is outside and open until 10 p.m. It was refreshing in the crisp night air.
The hotel is nice and clean and the customer service is excellent. The hotel is centrally located for all shopping and touristy activities. Breakfast was fresh and good. when I stay in the Seattle area again in the future I will only stay at this location.
The hotel itself is older and did smell a bit, BUT overall the accommodations were awesome and a great staff. I did get a shuttle to and from my hotel to watch my team play hockey. For me it was a bit expensive because I had to convert US into Canadian dollars, but I think it was a good location.,
My spouse & I checked into this BW not knowing what to expect since this is our first stay ever at a BW! Our room was equipped with a small refrigerator, a microwave, a king bed, a Keurig coffee pot along with the pods, clean towels & wash cloths, a desk and a table with chairs. Breakfast is included which we had not realized. This breakfast offers something for everyone & we would rate it as one of the best we've had in a hotel. The buffet offered juices, coffee, whole, 2% & skim milk, make your own waffles, make your own pancakes, biscuits, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, yogurt, choice of 2 different types of bread, jam, butter, peanut butter, cold cereals, instant oatmeal, fresh fruit & fruit salad & at least 2 different kinds of muffins. The room in which the buffet is served is very well furnished & looks new. Newspapers are available at the front desk; a local paper & USA Today. Whatever we asked of the buffet attendants & the front desk receptionists was taken care of swiftly & courteously. Housekeeping attendants were very friendly & kept our room neat with clean bathroom towels etc. I honestly don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else.
I've stayed at this hotel twice this month due to medical reasons for my family. The first time I was impressed with the comfortable beds, the breakfast, the price and the location that I rebooked the 2nd time without hesitation. I was very happy with my stay and would recommend this hotel. Will be back to this hotel if we need to stay in Everett.
My daughter was taken to Provedience Hosptial and I made an emergency trip to Everett and I found myself needing a room at a reasonable price to spend the night. I looked up this hotel and the reviews and ending up calling the front desk and explained my situation, the front desk lady was so understanding and offered me the medical rate. The room was okay and the bed was very comfortable it even had a Keruig maker in the room. Gotta say the breakfast was an extra bonus, bisquits, gravy, eggs, pototes, ceral, sausages, fruit, etc. We went back 2 weeks later and stayed there again.
We stay here when we are in Everett......Good prices, breakfast, quick service, pool and laundry facilities. Clean too. We like this Best Western, cause of it location and services. We will stay there again in the spring.
I stayed at this Hotel to attend a concert in Everett. It was the perfect place, as it was less then a mile from the concert venue. There is a Denny's next to the hotel, which was very convenient as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was free, and plentiful. I really enjoyed having a fridge and microwave in the room. I will definitely stay again when attending another event in the area.
I often stay at Best Westerns when traveling because I like to get the day started with a nice breakfast. The breakfast at this location was not terrible, but a little under par in comparison to some of the other Best Western properties I've stayed at. However, when visiting Everett again for a business/pleasure trip we will plan to stay here again. The value was great and proximity to XFinity Arena for hockey games was great.
We like this hotel. It is close to my daughters place and it has a good rate and includes breakfast. it's clean and has a year round hot tub outside and an outdoor pool for the swimming season. they also have fresh coffee and newspapers in the lobby for your convenience. Also has a washer and dryer.
We stayed at this hotel as a stop over on a car trip. This hotel has a good location and friendly helpful staff. The layout of the hotel is a bit strange. If you use a cart carry baggage you have to push it uphill over carpeted slanted hallways a very long way. The room did not smell fresh and was noisy from road traffic. We were very happy to leave the next morning.
this hotel is very over priced. the most disappointing week end. there was about 50 tv channels and not even one was canadian---this is arrogance and ignorant.. at least 50% of the vehicles in parking lot were canadian
The help, breakfast, and cleanliness was very good. If you do not like the smell of cigarettes or light sleeper stay away from 118 as the outside door bangs all night and day as people use this door to have their smoke. The Inn was very helpful in moving us to a room that was quiet for the rest of our stay!
I would not recommend this hotel. Two Brown Recluse Spiders were found in my room. Hotel management has done nothing to resolve this issue. Repeated emails to the GM and a phone call has failed. No response to date. These spiders are highly dangerous and can result in severe medical issues. I have made repeated attempts to have someone from the hotel address this issue to ensure the safety of other guests. For management to disregard this concern speaks to their level of customer service. Find somewhere else to stay as it has been 4 days and no one from the hotel has called to ensure me that they will address this highly sensitive (risk) issue.
We were road weary and stopped in Everett on our way to Seattle. We stumbled across this Best Western. We found the desk & housekeeping staff very helpful. I left a favorite pillow there, and upon calling them on September 2 (our stay was on August 27) they informed me they found the pillow and would send it on. YAY ! Also, they recommended an excellent restaurant within walking distance - Buck's American Cafe. Plus, reasonable rates !
This is one of the few places that say that they have a full breakfast that actually did. Most of them say they do but they only have cold and waffles. They had eggs, potatoes (good ones) bacon or sausage and a lot of other things. The rooms were great and the staff were very friendly.
I went up for 2 days to see the Trump rally. I walked around with a custom Trump sign then dropped it back off at the hotel so I could get in line for the rally (no custom signs allowed). When I left my room I put the "peace and quiet do not disturb" sign on the door. When I returned I found some of the staff had entered when I was away. As far as I know nothing was stolen, however they tried to break my trump sign (It was laminated, they didn't succeed). They didn't clean the room when they entered, they did however spit on my sign and there was a wadded up piece of TP with something crusty on the sign (I am just going to hope and pretend it was just snot). The room itself was fine, the staff however kept giving me dirty looks and broke into my room because of their political beliefs, which is completely unacceptable. I tried telling the lady at the front desk about it, but then she pretended she didn't speak english.
We mainly stay in best westerns when we travel,as you always know you are getting clean comfortable rooms but I booked this hotel 5 months before we went to a concert in Seattle . The locations was good easy to get on and off the I 5 The hotel was easy to find as we came from Canada the room however was kind of dark and while the bathroom looked newish the rest of the hotel room was disappointing the furniture was broken old and rickety the table was scuffed and scratched the chair creaked and was almost ready to snap the leg.also the curtains were old and dingy and looked somewhat 80 s the windows were very dirty and the carpet had an odor, now you may expect this at a super 8 or a motel 6 but I was always sure the best western would not be like this we were disappointed to say the least also I was quoted in Canadian dollars and ended up paying in US not what I had expected. In the night our toilet plugged and would not flush and the sink also. While a nice staff the hotel needs some tlc
Nice stay with clean pool and spa, comfortable rooms, great staff, wonderful hot breakfast with everything you could want, close to everything in Everett including shops, restaurants, waterfront, library, Comcast Event Center, City Hall. Enjoyed.
Family here for a reunion, had 4 rooms. Rooms very clean, spacious. Twin sinks makes getting make up on convenient. Breakfast service very nice, typical eggs, sausage, sausage and biscuits. All perfect because using induction burners which keep a constant temperature without overcooking eggs. Maintenance could have been better, of 4 rooms, one AC didn't cool, ours worked too well so we shut it off. Our bath tub didn't drain well, and stopped the next morning. Something like that should have been noticed during housekeeping cleanup. Reported to front desk, and would have fixed immediately but we were about to check out.
The Cascadia Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The location is right off the freeway and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We travel to Everett about every other year to visit family and will plan on staying at this hotel again.
We stayed here in July 2016. We booked for one night, and then decided to stay for two nights. Almost all hotels, except for the really high end ones around North Seattle were booked solid. We finally found booked the Cascadia via phone call. Yes it is in an industrial area, but it has easy access to the I-5. The check in staff were very friendly. This is a deceivingly large hotel with many rooms. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Wi-Fi was free and worked well. We would stay here again for sure.
Visited with a group after tour of Boeing factory. Very accommodating in changing room allocation. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast included. $25 charge on credit card added wihtout explaination and still waiting for refund. Debit was instant but refund VERY slow.
This hotel is located close to the freeway in an industrial area. Not much close by so a good place to stay but not for site seeing near by. A couple of places to eat within walking distance. The breakfast at this place is very good and offered a lot of variety. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy.
We arrived into SeaTac around midnight and needed to find a place to stay for the night before heading on to northern Washington the next morning. We wanted to get through Seattle so as to avoid their incredible traffic and our goal was making it to Everett. We picked this hotel because it was cheap and off the highway. Essentially you get what you pay for- it is your typical highway motel and it served its purpose for our goals. The buffet breakfast was better than expected and had fresh scrambled eggs, potatoes, some meats, DIY waffles, and some other continental fare. The coffee was meh but I appreciated the to-go cups.
Great value. The rooms were very large. This hotel has a nice outdoor pool and hot tub. That is hard to find in the Seattle/Everett area. The breakfast was way better than I'd expected. The access on and off the freeway is very good and little to no road noise. I found this hotel to be very adequate.
This hotel had a lot going for it: Close to freeways and amenities, large rooms, complimentary buffet breakfast, free wi-fi, etc.. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing!! There was free coffee and tea, a microwave and refrigerator (which kept things very cold), full size ironing board, and a four person breakfast table by a large window. We were very satisfied with this hotel. The outside was a bit dirty in some places, but I will chalk that up to irresponsible patrons. I would stay here again.
Picking up family from the Sea tac airport we were simply looking for a clean, friendly, reasonable place to stay on our way down to the area from BC with our two grandchildren for one nite without being gouged for an excessive cost....nothing complicated... The $125 cost was a fraction of what other places were asking and no charge for parking the car ($25 at the competition)...a hot and substantial breakfast included with coffee offered in the lobby. This is an older property but the owners have made a real effort to do the best with what they have to work with and we were impressed that in spite of the age the room and lobby were very clean and welcoming. Staf f were friendly and helpful and the property had easy access on/off the I-5. There was also a 24 hr Denny's right next door for those of us compelled to arrive early or late... All in all a great value for the cost and will not hesitate to stay again...sometimes you get more than you pay for... :) Ralph Lavallee
I enjoyed the stay so much that I did not want to leave.. stayed here to attend a concert and did not have time to enjoy the pool. I really liked how clean and high end the room was. Will choose again without hesitation for any events that bring me to Everett
The best thing about this place was the event coordinator Bre. When scheduling an event at her hotel, she was very polite, friendly, and very helpful. That is the extent of any positive feedback I can provide about this place. The rooms were shabby. Beds were uncomfortable. Ours didn't even have a shower curtain. I waited a day to see if housekeeping would put one up - no. So I asked for one... found it that afternoon sitting on the counter. At least housekeeping did put it up once they found it. The lady at the front desk was rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, un... everything else. VERY poor customer service. We were here for four days, and really wished we were somewhere else.
Hotel is clean and is conveniently located near I 5 and WA 2. Good sushi restaurant nearby. Breakfast includes eggs, meat and potatoes. The hotel was recently remodeled. Hotel is quiet. Do not hear the I 5 traffic.
maybe check others The hotel was a little dated. Staff was ok. a rude gal at front desk cost me $20.00 a night and would not make it right. I would not book online, I would have gotten the room $20.00 cheaper if I called the hotel. $ 150 a night for a room was a bit much.
A clean pet friendly hotel with reasonable rates which include breakfast. In a very quiet location and the staff are very friendly. Also has a swimming pool and hottub. The hotel also offers a fully equipped business center.
The rooms are clean and well-maintained, if not fancy. They offer free WiFi and breakfast. Breakfast is the usual, but good: oatmeal, cold cereal, basic omelettes, bacon, orange and apple juices. It's quiet, but still convenient to I-5.
Hotel was clean, room was large, included fridge and microwave. Nice military discount. Friendly professional staff. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Bench was broken in dining room, a patron notified staff and maintenance was there immediately. Overall a good experience. Would stay here again.
Stayed here over night during Chapter 8 of motorcycle journey around continental US. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good, with typical BW offerings. Well presented. A few dining option close by. Tried Bucks American Cafe - Grilled halibut was excellent.
I always stay at Best Western, Cascadia Inn, Everett when I have business in North Sound/North Seattle. I always get a good rest and the rooms are comfortable. I especially like the fridge, cold and roomy, as I like to eat in to save money. Never too loud and Everett downtown district is near for dining/entertainment if I want.. Cheers!
I stayed here two nights while visiting the Seattle area. The room has all amenities one could want for a budget hotel (adjustable shower head, Keurig, hot breakfast, free WiFi at a decent speed). Although I did not use any, you could rent Pay Per View movies on the TV in the room. There were a number of hot and cold items for the continental breakfast. All were well stocked. The breakfast room was small for the number of people staying in the hotel. I could tell the hotel has already tried to accommodate the number of bookings by moving the breakfast room to a larger room already. Still, I had to eat in my room the first day. There is a Denny's next door if you would rather do that. The only drawbacks for the property was that I had to go to the desk twice to get my keys re-programed because they would not let me in the back door. Also, directions need to be more clearer on the website. Property was hard to find. While the hotel had many amenities, the building appeared to be in need of some general updating (e.g. - property had wallpaper in rooms, hallways and corridors appeared to have old metal doors and appeared to be dark). Bed was comfortable.
The Cascadian is my "go to" hotel. They offer a AAA rate and for the area, their rates are the best for the quality you get. I also love that there is a full breakfast service. They have undergone some upgrading in the past year and it looks great. The only thing that is tough is if you have a room at the north end of the building. The elevators are in the middle and front of the building so it's a bit of a haul with luggage. I haven't used the pool yet but hope too next trip.
I would recommend Best Western Cascadia Inn, Everett, Washington. We have stayed there two times and have enjoyed our stay. I think we stayed three nights both times. The Inn is close to restaurants and down town. We come to Everett to visit family in about 5 different towns in the area. Easy to get to and traffic is good.
Clean hotel with gd service. Free parking and breakfast. Location is right off the freeway. Area is a little shady but not to bad. Close to downtown and a free shuttle :) I've stayed here before and probably will again. Overall it's a thumbs up.
Comfortable room, quiet with plenty of amenities. Continental breakfast included hot items with a variety of choices. The hotel is close to restaurants, gas station and coffee shops. Also quick access to Highway I5.
We chose the Best Western Cascadia based on its economical price but were pleased to find out that it had a good location for our purposes, convenient WiFi, and a complimentary hot breakfast, which was not listed in the AAA book. The bed was very comfortable and it was easy to control the temperature in the room. The pool was open while we were there, but it wasn't really warm enough to swim. Tried out Buck's American Cafe for supper one night, as recommended by the hotel staff and enjoyed it. The other night we drove down to the harbour and had a nice supper at Lombardi's. We'd stay there again if we were in town.
A kitchenette with no dish soap/towel/cloth, no knife or cutting board? Told these aren't normally supplied in hotels, which is bunk. Not easy to get even just dish soap. Personnel didn't seem to have clear answers to any questions. Called once for a shuttle, told it was on its way (we were 1 mile from hotel), called regularly asking where it was, always told "it'll be 5 minutes" ... waited over half an hour for a 1 mile ride! But the worst part was being consistently misinformed, keeping us standing there, stuck, waiting. Breakfast was poor. We expected more of Best Western, but maybe for the price it was okay. People in registration, beforehand, were lovely and gave good service. Rooms seemed basically clean and we got what we'd asked for. So that was good. But we plan on going elsewhere next time.
Clean, friendly, great pool, great breakfast, kitchen, good bed, wifi, shuttle within 5 miles. Great value! this is our second time staying here and I didn't even look elsewhere after our trip here last year.Great for kids.
quality of breakfast items, a little low, breakfast room not very comfortable, single elevators make transportation a little slow, clean yet basic, reasonably good value, basic accomodations, public areas small
Although the price was right, the quality of the breakfast, the room amenities, was not high enough to recommend it to others. The facilities need to upgrade and be more appealing before people would stay there.
We stay here whenever we come to see my family. The location is great for traveling North of Everett or South. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast is pretty good with hot food as well as fruit and cereals. We only wish there was a fitness room and that the internet would be faster. Most of the time the internet was painfully slow
Stayed new years eve as our friends house was down the street, and the plan was to stumble back in. We double-checked with the front desk on when breakfast was to be served on our way out so we knew when to be back down in the morning. We did the same thing on our way back in. I'd also like to stress this isn't located in the nicest of areas, but as most would joke, "it's Everett." Anyhow, we missed breakfast even after two hosts told us the same time, breakfast still ended at a different time. We came downstairs to find breakfast being cleaned up and all the front desk had to say was "Well, sorry." Our room wasn't anything fancy but it was acceptable. Have definitely had more positive experiences at other Best Western locations.
Close enough to Tulalup & Boeing to be the perfect home base for a fun filled long weekend. Comfortable bed, clean & well appointed room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff, great location. Walking distance to Brooklyn Brothers Pizza.... Will stay here again for sure.
I will always chose BW as my choice of Hotels, as I have found them to be a hotel of excellence. Going beyond the call of duty. Hotel's are nicely kept up and wonderful breakfasts. My compliments to all employees.
The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Has a seasonal pool, year round hot tub, free wifi and free parking, free breakfast. We didn't go for the breakfast as we slept past 9. The outside area at dark gives me the impression it is not a good area but that was just our feeling by watching people in the area. Would stay there again. Very reasonable price on Hotwire.
Stayed here while visiting friends in Snohomish. Rooms were average but not terrible. Bed was pretty comfortable. Gal at front desk was very polite and efficient. Would have rated much better, but found some sort of dead insects in the bathroom. We checked in late and went straight to bed and left pretty early, so didn't notice the bugs until the next morning. We aren't generally super picky, but bugs of any kind are pretty much a deal breaker for us 100% of the time. Would not stay here again.
Very clean and quiet hotel close to I-5 and Highway 2. Great breakfast with a lot of variety and good service. Ample parking even if pulling a trailer. Helpful and friendly staff. Grocery store and restaurants nearby.
Decent hotel. Could use some renovations and modernizations. No pet areas for pets to relieve themselves. I considered bringing my dog on my business trip, glad I didn't. No pet areas within the close proximity either. This place had a great free breakfast everyday. Even though the menu didn't seem to change all week, it was still good. There was various kinds of cereal, they had toast, milk, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, diced potatoes, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juices, and muffins. Overall, decent hotel. I would stay again.
We stayed at this location because there were several of us who came into town for my daughters wedding, which would take place outside in Anacortes on Saturday. Our rooms were very nice but the mattresses need replacing. You can hear the springs when you sit or lay on the beds. Our drain did not drain well in the bathtub or the sink in the room. Other than that we were very happy with our stay at Best Western and will probably stay there again in September when my grandchild decides to be born on this earth. We liked the daily breakfast but did not like the lady taking the food away just because it turned 9am. People were still coming in at 8:45 am and the food should not be put away until all the people who came in that door by 8:59 a.m. are done eating. That was a little ridiculous. The lady should just lock the door at 9am so more people don't come in. You need to let the customers eat their food and get seconds if they like. I'd love to see some cheese offered, so we can add it to our eggs or the potatoes. They don't have much taste.
This is a no frills, comfortable, clean and good value hotel well located for visiting the outlet mall, Alderwood Mall, Lynwood shopping and even a day trip into Seattle. If you plan to stay in and around the hotel though there is not much close by so a car is necessary. The bed was very comfortable. The internet a little slow. Overall we were quite satisfied for the amount it cost.
Overall it was the typical quality I've come to expect from BW. The comfortable bed, hot breakfast (eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon), and access to a local gym are the main selling points to me but décor is also nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. The fridge didn't keep my food cold, which was disappointing but a first at BW for me. Location was noisy, being downtown. Exterior is boring and some RV guys were grilling in the parking lot; never seen that at a hotel before..
Stayed 2 nights with no issues. Shuttle is a plus, did not use our vehicle our whole stay. Lots to chose from at breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Our only downfall was the the 2 rooms across from us had been trashed by Cinco De Mayo partyers and had to listen to over 2 hrs of vacuuming and carpet cleaning. There is a little bit of traffic noise.
We had booked the hotel from New Zealand and were pleasantly surprised how fairly easy it was to find except that there was no Best Western advertising on the side we approached from so we did a round the block run!! Everything about the hotel was excellent with a very acceptable breakfast and a very nice room. The staff were really great. It was also close to a very acceptable restaurant, and also to Denny's, where we had dinner. A very large hotel that was full with, I presume, local workers who were very friendly, just like the staff. Within walking distance of the centre of Everett which is not a place for tourism!! Easy to get to Seattle and the Cascades. We went from the hotel to Bellingham via Whidbey and Fidalgo Islands, a very enjoyable trip.
I called the hotel directly and got a better deal. All of the staff was very kind and helpful. Tim went out of his way to help us. The shuttle guys driving us to and from the workshop were great. I love that the have free breakfast. And I loved how comfy the pillows were too.
This hotel was a great value and location for the event I was attending in the area. It was clean, very comfortable and quiet. I was able to sleep well in the room, the staff was very helpful, checking in and out was easy. I would used this hotel again if I am in the area.
We were there for only one night but it was just what we needed. We appreciated the early morning breakfast and late checkout :) The bed was very comfortable and we like the Keurig in our room :) The staff was nice.
We stayed here for the Pacific Rim Gymnastics Meet. We were able to walk to the Infinity Arena and felt very safe walking back in the evening. Our room was extremely clean. Shampoo and soap were provided. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffle maker, toast etc. were available. There was a coffee maker in the room as well. We had no trouble with the free internet. As the gymnastics meet ended late each evening we were able to get dinner at the 24 hour Denny's next door to the hotel and Buzz Inn Steakhouse a couple of blocks walk from the hotel. There is no restaurant or room service at the hotel. Our room had a screened window that opened therefore we enjoyed a cool breeze in the evenings. The windows locked securely when closed. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and when we ran out of kleenex, I went to housekeeping and a gentleman delivered a box within five minutes. The hotel is right off the I-5. I would stay here again.
The staff was incredibly helpful: when after check out at 6:00 pm I realized I had forgotten essential items (parcel containing invaluable medical, tax, and contact records) and an expensive laptop computer, they immediately checked all options (after hours mind you) and located the item for me. I cannot express how happy and relieved we were to ascertain and get that back. The eployee deserves a raise and commendation! The gentleman at the desk was incredibly helpful as well...
I have stayed at this hotel before a few years ago and was nervous when we pulled up as I recalled the last stay wasn't the best. However, this hotel must have had an update as the room was in better condition, the area around the hotel appears to have been improved and the breakfast was great! Those sausages were so delicious! I would stay here again while passing through.
My husband and I were visiting family in the are for 6 nights. Breakfast was below par compared to other BW hotels. Housekeeping OK - could do a better job with basics, ex. didn't refill empty tissue box foe 3 days (we bought some.) We did not spend much time at the hotel.
Location is not ideal (not really close to anything fun/nice) area seems run down. Hotel grounds aren't particularly inviting. Rooms were ok. Beds were very hard, uncomfortable. Water pressure in shower was a bit of a drizzle. Felt it was a bit over-priced for the condition and area of the hotel. Stay at lots of BW's, so I know how much they charge.
The hotel and staff were very nice. They put us in a room right on the end, right near the street. At 5 am they started working on the street and we were wide awake. I was there for business. They offered a shuttle to the courthouse and back. Which meant I did not have to try and find parking. The breakfast that they had was great. We could hear the people walking around on the floor above us.
every thing went well! The stay was very enjoyable and we may stay here again. I don't have anything more to say about this stay other than this is all that I am going to say to you about this hotel having to come up with a review that is 200 characters or more long is somewhat stupid and this the last time I will do it.
Very easy check in. Very nice and clean room. Heater nice and quiet. There was a train in the middle of the night but it didnt last long Hot shower. Great little breakfast. Lots of plug in for chargers and electronics. Wifi real good.
Nicely remodeled lobby, the hotel lives up to all my Best Western standards, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, safe area. We stay once a year for an event we attend at the Xfinity Arena, this hotel has only gotten nicer with each stay as they have updated.
The hotel is a good value for the cost. The wireless internet service is of good quality. The breakfast is better than most hotels I have stayed at. The hotel is quiet. I have stayed at the Cascadia about six times since my daughter moved to Lake Stevens in June 2013. I have not had a negative experience.
We went to the MMA at the event center fights and stayed here on last minute notice. Decent room, decent price, friendly staff, good breakfast. We had a nice stay. Everything was good. The location is good.
Arrived via GPS in my MV from Canada. 1. Parking: Ample free parking, with a spot to park for check in. 6.5/10 2. Location: Easy to get to off the main drag, not downtown but central 6.5/ 10 3. Neighborhood. Seemed like a quite enough area 6.5/10 4. Check in: The girl was pleasant and helpfull 7.5/10 5. Cleanliness: Clean, clean, clean. 8.5/10 6. Rooms: Bed was comfortable, a HVAC unit with remote, black out curtains, good size room with table, but not upmarket 7/10 7. Bathroom. A separate sink from the bathroom. Plenty of HOT water 8/10 8. Restaurant: Hot breakfast included, put on by the Hotel 8.5/10 9 Intangibles: Typical style and layout but even though I could hear the couple and children next door from the hallway, not from the room. 8/10 10 Value: Outstanding inexpensive price. Would definitely go again 8.5/10 TOTAL 75.5/100
I showed up and took 20 minutes to check in. There were what looked like homeless people walking around parking lot. Finally make it to my room to see about 15-20 people drinking and partying in the hallway a few doors down from my room. After a long day and checking in after 9pm I walk into a freezing room that smelled like a musty refrigerator. :-( I went back to my car, drive across the street to the holiday inn and got a clean room and secure parking. DO NOT go to this hotel.
A very clean and well managed hotel. Great breakfast with a wide range of food choices. Free parking and close to the I-5 for easy access to malls and shopping by car. Nearby the Everett Silvertips arena. We would stay here again.
My girlfriend and I visited Everett to see a concert. This hotel was very close to our event. The rate was much lower than other options in the area. The free shuttle service got our entire group to our event on time. Staff was very friendly.
Stayed one night while in town for a concert. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. There was a safe, fridge, microwave, coffee machine. The staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and the free shuttle service was a nice
Went there to celebrate my best friends 40th Birthday. Closest we could find to Lake Stevens any ways we had a king room it had a very comfortable bed , large room plus had a nice cold ch that was a side bed as well we didn't tweed but it was there. Very clean and comfortable.... They have one of the best continental breakfast we have ever had... Eggs hash browns, sausage, bacon, biscuits n gravy, fresh waffles cold cereal, muffins , coffee, juice, milk, yogurt.... Think I got it ALL!!! And very delicious would definitely recommend it!!
Enjoyed the stay, felt that I got very good value for the price. Easy location and close to major attractions. Close to reasonable food establishments. Hot tub was open which was nice to relax in after a long day.
The staff and front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. Every request was handled very well and quickly, We had several family members gather in our room for an impromptu birthday party. We asked for four chairs to be brought o our room to for our company and they were delivered within five minutes! The bed could be a little more comfortable, softer. I recommend this hotel highly.
One of the worst BW hotels we have ever stayed in. The beds were so bad we hardly slept due to old, worn out beds that creaked every time someone moved. This hotel needs some updating, remodeling and better security for their guests. We will never stay at this hotel again. We had booked 3 nights but after the first night, we left and went to another BW in town. Not sure how this hotel gets as many stars as it does - their standards must not be very high. We would give this hotel a 2 at best and that is being very generous.
Overnighted at this hotel as close to station. Reception staff were extremely helpful and we were able to leave our car for two more nights even though we only spent one night. Room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold choices. The hotel was very reasonable especially as a hot breakfast was included. there is a heated outdoor pool.
The room met my needs, was comfortable. I didn't access the free breakfast buffet, choosing to go across the street to Denny's for breakfast. I am a regular at Denny's. Housekeeping did a very good job with the room. I didn't like that the TV would reset to PPV movies. I never buy movies on demand.
At check-in, the staff person would not let my friend check in even though it was his credit card. I thought this strange. I'd made the reservation in my name but he supplied the credit card. We arrived at separate times. Lobby coffee was tasty but not hot. I asked staff to warm up and she did and brought back a plate of cookies to sample.
We chose this motel for its proximity to the Xfinity Arena (about an eight-block walk), and got everything we could need for an excellent price. We had a very comfortable king bed in a nice-sized room with new-ish furnishings and new carpet. Though this is an older motel, it has clearly been well-maintained and updated. We appreciated the two sinks (one in the bathroom, one in the changing area), and both vanities were of shiny black granite. (The tub is still older vinyl.) We had a large flat-screen TV with tons of channels (Xfinity, I'm sure!), a microwave and refrigerator, table and chairs, desk and business chair, and FREE Wi-Fi. The hot breakfast was above average--and the scrambled eggs really WERE hot! Employees were friendly and professional. Certainly when we need an overnight in Everett again, this is the place we'll choose.
This hotel restored my view of Best Western completely. A much lower price than other Best Westerns nearby (about 60% of price). Great beds, clean, updated, quality service from everyone. A full breakfast, not just a continental with toast muffins and waffles. Full self serve breakfast with waffles, scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Omelettes the next day that were good but not as good as the scrambled. The manager will pass comments along. Extra blankets brought. Just great. Will stay again in this central location again. Internet worked well. Thanks,
I really trust Best Western and most properties are well-kept, but this one was a disappointment. Shower didn't work, had to lift toilet lid to jiggle mechanism so tank would fill, empty condom wrapper found under bed and breakfast was poor in terms of quality and availability of items (out of milk, for one).
An older, well maintained hotel. Nice looking outdoor pool. The phone crackled in use and made conversations difficult. A good sized conference meeting room. Good breakfast in a pleasant room. Good location reasonably close to the freeway but sheltered from noise by other buildings. Ask for a room on the quiet side. An easy walk to the hockey rink were the Everett Silvertips play. Close to plenty of restuarants. We dined at Bucks American Cafe and we highly recommend it for standard American cuisine served with style.
The room was very clean, 1 king size firm bed which was great. The location was perfect from off the freeway and also where I was going for my gathering. They offer a really nice continental breakfast. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you.
The place has your typical BW room: clean, quiet, comfy beds. I like the large breakfast area with good hot food. The room had 2 sinks which is very rare for any hotel. We received good service from staff. The hotel has free parking and is located near I-5. We'd stay here again.
We needed just an overnight place to stop before our morning Boeing tour, and this place worked out wonderfully. There is plenty of parking, the rooms are very nice, and the breakfast was just fine. It is an older property, but well maintained and very clean. It was nice to be able to walk to any of several highly rated Everett restaurants and not to have to get back in the van just to go to dinner. What's not to like?
I needed a hotel in Everett for one night and found this one online. I called and the person held a room for me without a credit card as they had many available. He was very helpful and had a great attitude. The room was fine - clean and comfortable. The following morning when I was leaving I asked for directions to a Kinkos so that I could scan about large document. The Office Depot nearby told me over the phone it would cost .25 per page to scan. A manager, Bria, heard me on the phone and offered there equipment to help me as it was slow at the desk at that moment. Taylor at the front desk also helped me and was not only efficient but friendly. I will be back in this area soon for business. This will definitely by my hotel of choice.
My husband and I were looking for a hotel close to the Xfinity Erena. After researching and reading reviews we chose the Best Western. We defiantly made a great choice. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, free wifi, breakfast and parking you cant go wrong here! I only wish I would have had more time during my stay so I could have used the pool and hot tub :)
We ended up here because Everett was on the way to Bellingham where we were to meet up with friends. As a result of staying here we explored some of the surrounding places including the Boeing Plant and Tulalip Casino. We had a good time in Everett. The room was nice, clean and bed was comfy. Nothing too fancy but nothing to complain about either. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends.
