Best Western Delta Inn

We had a wonderful stay. Effingham is a clean and friendly city. This Best Western is no exception. Great, helpful staff and clean, modern, well maintained facilities. The breakfast was well appointed with many yummy choices and the parking lot is well lit and safe. I will stay there again on my return trip!

Was good location off the interstate; a stop while doing a cross-country trip to see family. I liked that there was free charging for my EV. The breakfast was one of the poorest I've ever encountered at any chain hotel that I routinely stay at (which include Best Western series; Marriot series; Hilton series; Choice series; Holiday Inn series; etc.) -- it was poor selection and the food tasted not very good. The room was generally ok. Seems like an older hotel in inside appearance. I didn't like that they did not include MSNBC in their TV listing (they did have CNN and fake-news FoxNews).

The hotel is a nice hotel in a good location. Its easy in and out from the highway with a mcalisters deli right next door. The hotel sits at the end of a street that limits traffic noise. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is kept clean without too much chlorine and i really enjoyed the hot breakfast. Overall really good experience.

Stay at the Best Western in Effingham. It had a clean, comfortable room, with a reasonable price. This place was a welcome surprise and I would stay there again. The location of this little town was perfect as well. Effingham, IL is a crossroads with good restaurants and a perfect small town with surprising amenities for the weary traveler.

The Best Western in Effingham is a great nights stay for the money nice clean hotel with great breakfast. We also found a great place for dinner in town called the Gabby Goat. This hotel also has easy access to I70 and near by attractions. If you are in this area definitely stay here

Clean and comfortable. Good food selection. Just be aware they think it's an upgrade and will Automatically give a 1 bed and pull out couch when you booked a 2 bed room. Then try telling you it's an upgrade! Ha. Clerk contacted manager. Wasn't completely satisfied with outcome but was tired and just needed to get some sleep.

Pros: clean room, comfortable bed, could lower thermostat enough that allowed me to sleep well, good breakfast with egg & meat protein sources, very pleasant & helpful staff Cons: heater not turned on for indoor pool, too few handicap parking spots

They did not honor the online price as they said they would when we called. This not typical of a Best Western Hotel. Check in called the owners and they didn't seem to care. I showed the price on the Best Western price and said we couldn't get thru to them as their site was was down . They said social media was always wrong???? Nice hotel but no customer service skills. Make sure you book on line to get the best price!

If you need a nice clean place, reasonable rate and easy access stop here. Stopped on the way east to Pennsylvania then stopped again on the way west back to Arizona. 200 characters is way to much to write when you have nothing to complain about. 😊

Friendly, caring, and competent staff. The property is well-cared for, attractive, and clean. The beds are comfortable - topper makes them a bit taller but worth it for extra comfort. Desk chair and task lighting are notably good. Complimentary breakfast had a nice selection!

This hotel didn't disappoint. This is the second time I've stayed here. Never a problem. A few noisy neighbors this time but not the staffs fault. Room was clean, bed comfortable, breakfast was good and there was plenty and it was hot. Which is a plus. We come for a family reunion. We will be back again next year

The location was great, the employee at check-in was extremely professional, nice and helpful! The room was very clean, we felt very safe! Beds were so very comfortable they felt like you could have stayed in them all day! lol We do highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, clean place to stay!

This hotel was really nice. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. Great hot shower. I slept like a baby. The bed was great. I highly recommend this hotel. I will be staying here again.

We got a decent size room, the shower could have been a little better maintained for molded caulk in a couple spots but it was fine to shower in. The beds were so comfy and nice. The temperature of the room was set and cool. Made for excellent sleeping situations. I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the nice staff, to the pleasant guests I encountered, & even the breakfast (minus the eggs please someone budget the breakfast a little better and don't make people eat watery puffy “egg” mix)!

Chose this hotel for the price point. Service was outstanding, and accommodations are mostly upgraded but we would have spent more to have a newer room and better air conditioning. Hotel was full and weather was extremely hot and humid, so this was probably an unusual situation.

We stayed here for one night, on our way south. Initial impression was great- the lobby is clean and bright, and we were checked in efficiently and by a friendly receptionist. But,.... the room had 2 queen beds. One of the beds was about 12 inches from the wall, leaving just a very narrow area to walk to the head of the bed. When I sat down at the head of the bed, the entire side of the bed collapsed to the floor, causing me to fall off the bed hitting my knee and head. I called the front desk, explained what happened, and was told that ours was one of two rooms with a broken bed frame, and "they shouldn't have put you in there- ". She said that it showed on the computer that this room shouldn't be used. She did offer us a different room, but because we had just unpacked after traveling all day, we just used the other bed. She also told me to talk to the manager in the morning. The next morning I stopped at the desk and was told that the manager "will be here soon". I left a written message asking her to call me. Later in the day, after NOT receiving a call, I called the hotel, and was transferred to the manager's voice mail ( The recording identified it with her name and title). I again left a message requesting she call me. No return call received. Four days later, after completing the usual "How was your stay" survey routinely sent out by hotels, I received an impersonal email form response apologizing for "not meeting our guest's expectations" and hoping they can serve me again in the future. So, after being put in a room with a known, documented problem, and then the complete lack of response from the manager, we are unable to give this place the review it seems to get from others.

I was very impressed with the room, the check in and the deli next door and a good value. I selected this for my overnight on a cross country motorcycle ride and couldn't have been happier. An added bonus was the deli next door. Try the french dip sandwich.

The hotel was very clean, staff very professional, great selection of items to choose from for Breakfast and the Welcome Happy Hour was fun, with a great choice of drinks and snacks. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Will definitely be back!

This was a great stop on the road from MN to Florida. Pet friendly and very clean. Older property but well cared for. The onsite charger got our Tesla up to 100% overnight. Beds really comfortable and the McAllister Deli next door was fresh and delicious! Will stop again!

We stayed here for 1 night on the way to Georgia and 1 night on the way home. The hotel is easy to find. The room was clean, temperature easy to set on heater, and everything worked. The bed was a bit hard. The breakfast selection was nice. It was great to have McAlisters right next door for dinner. The one downside of the hotel is that it is right next to the freeway and you could hear freeway noise in the room.

Very convenient off the highway for an overnight stop on our road trip. The hotel was clean, and well maintained (If a little dated). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, a little less than average. The area was a little messy, garbage cans overflowing, etc. would stay again if passing through!

The staff was very pleasant, friendly and welcoming, even offering a happy hour. The young woman at the front desk was sweet and enthusiastic and when we asked for a dinner location, she sent us to her favorite restaurant which was spot on and delicious. The hotel lobby area was inviting, and the pool looked lovely. The halls were bright and inviting. The room was clean and lovely. The beds were so comfortable we got the best night's sleep. They are very high; a child or older person might need a step stool. But the comfort level was outstanding and worth the climb Breakfast was ok It's not really a complaint it just could have been a little bit more. We have been traveling and eating at Best Western Breakfast for about 20 days. Some were spectacular....I can say this one was mediocre. It did the job; I will say it was hot and there was plenty of the hot items. It just needed a little bit more to make it special. The only criticism I have is there is pretty bad freeway noise on the west side of the building. I would suggest trying some noise dampening of some kind on the windows. I slept through it, my husband is a light sleeper, so it bothered him. I would just suggest if you're a light sleeper pick a room on the side of the building the pool is on. the Pluses outweigh the little annoyances so we definitely would stay here again.

We don't typically use the Best Western hotels when we travel, but we will be rethinking that after staying at this nice property. Our room was super clean, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty with lots of options (although no meat choices). Staff was helpful and courteous, as well. We will be back next time we need to stay in Effingham.

The facility looks a bit older (which is absolutely fine because I'm a bit older too). The young lady at the counter was pleasant, soft spoken, friendly and helpful. I found myself in need of a bandaid which she kindly provided. The room appeared clean and there were no unpleasant odors. The sheets were nice and soft. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but the lady in charge of keeping things stocked was really hustling — cleaning and with a cheery word to the guests. BUT, in the bathroom, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. If you don't want to completely redo it, it would be so easy and inexpensive to simply glue it down. Guests will feel better if it looks like you tried to put your best foot forward. Then the toilet — the seal wasn't tight so it wobbled and made a horrible clattering sound upon sitting and getting up. For some reason we were given a handicap room which is fine as long as no one else needed it but a wobbly toilet could unbalance someone with mobility/ambulation issues resulting in an injury. I really hope you get that resolved before using that room again. It was otherwise fine and had a good price point for a Friday night. And you have done a great job of selecting a team to interact with guests.

The Best Western in Effingham was a nice surprise. Sophie and other staff members were friendly, kind, and very helpful. When we arrived there was a Happy Hour in the lobby. We enjoyed the conversation and offerings that were given. The breakfast was great! Our room was very comfortable. It was fairly quiet. We could hear some highway noise, but not bad with being right next to the highway. I would highly recommend this hotel and if we are in the area passing through, we could stay here again.

Was traveling south, nice hotel, impressed with breakfast item, had many items to choose from, some I've never seen before. Just wish were stayed longer very clean and comfortable rooms. Will probably stay here on trip back.

Very nice hotel and great value. Such friendly and kind employees. Room was spotless and the happy hour on Tuesday was such a bonus with so many snacks and beverages. The cookies were to die for!! Will stay here again for sure.

We travel cross country a few times a year. Our first stop westbound is always Effingham. We had been staying at another nice property in Effingham, but they keep raising their price and their additional price for our small dog is getting too much. We are literally only in the room for about 8 hours, so spending $30 - $50 a night for a small trained dog is just absurd. I read some good reviews about this BW and I thought we would give them a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. First, they charge $15 for our dog which is very reasonable. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were extremely over the top pleasant and helpful. They had a complimentary happy hour which was great. Each guest received a coupon for two drinks and there was a plethora of light refreshments available were available in the lobby. Bottled water was complimentary. Our room was very nice and had everything we needed for our stay. The room was quiet at night and the heat worked fine. The parking lot was very well lit and there was a really nice deli right next store to the property. The property sits right on the exit to 70 so it was very convenient. We left too early for breakfast, but to our surprise we were given a to go bag with some breakfast snacks which was great. We loved our stay and will stay here again next time we are passing through.

Good check in experience, friendly front desk. Check out less accommodating. Room had a slight odor but was okay. Breakfast was very poor. No eggs except hard boiled. No bacon.sausage or gravy. Had a waffle iron but no batter. However room rate was pretty reasonable.

The BW Delta Inn is not a wonderful, 3 star hotel. Not sure who had been providing the reviews. The hotel is old, not very clean, noisy and rather expensive considering what you are getting. Best to stay elsewhere.

Very friendly and informative staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast had many choices and the food was delicious. I wish there was a few more gluten free options though. Parking was free and secure

Just what I needed and the restaurant next store was also exceptional. Clean and quiet. They offered and I accepted that I could park my motorcycle under the entryway. In person pricing better than the on-line pricing (it helped that I'm a veteran).

A great hotel at the half-way point of our two day trip. Updated hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff. The breakfast was great with a selection of hot and cold options. We highly recommend the Best Western Delta Inn. We'll stay here again the next time we pass through Effingham.

Nice location right near two freeways, but surrounded by trees that helps quiet the hotel. Check in was a breeze, our rooms were clean, comfortable and HVAC was nice and quiet. CLEAN bathrooms too . Breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs and sausage tasted great, and there were other choices as well.

Very, very good breakfast with a broad selection of breakfast items. The pool was nice with plenty of towels. We received a ground floor room that we had requested. However, if you value quality sleep, this might not be the place for you. We stayed at 3 BW hotels on this trip and all three had air conditioners that sounded like washing machines; that made if very difficult to sleep, my primary purpose for renting a hotel.

Although just a few hours from home, after several hundred miles of torrential rain I opted for safety & comfort & found welcome respite here. Grateful for covered entrance & automatic front doors so I could unload without getting soaked. JoDee checked me in swiftly & although I wasn't on the ground floor as requested, there was a zippy elevator. Within minutes I was settled in, so glad to be off the road. Queen double, clean & comfortable. Fridge/micro & in-room coffee. Slept well on great mattress w'nice linens& 4 fat, fluffy pillows. Generous supply of towels in spotless bathroom w/lots of counter space. Free wifi with ample signal so I could check weather, emails, etc. Didn't use but noticed pool & exercise room. Grounds nicely manicured, parking lot well lit & I felt my vehicle was safe. Several designated pet areas. Continental was fresh with lots of standard options including tortillas for making breakfast tacos. Dining area kept tidy & well tended, items restocked etc. by friendly, smiling Dana. Checkout was quick & EZ (thanks Jenn!) Mid-range price wise & although there are more budget friendly choices in Effingham, it was definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend & will definitely be back :-)

We found this location on our way from Texas to Michigan because they are dog friendly. They are clean, comfortable, and the staff is very nice and helpful. Well worth the price. The grounds are well kept and my shy dog had no problems using the facilities.

Very clean & nice sized room! We had a comfortable good night's rest on a good mattress! The breakfast was the usual hotel fare...it was clean & looked fresh. The help was friendly and made you feel at home! The location was close to eating places & shopping.

This place was a great experience! Friendly staff, nice workout facilities, nice breakfast - all was great and a great value! There was a happy hour when we checked in- what a delightful surprise. Everyone and everything was great!

Pros: - The pool is a little bigger than most hotels' indoor pools. Nice & spacious, with BIG windows on 3 sides with a view of trees. Great after spending all day driving. - VERY well soundproofed - you'd never guess you're right off the highway. - Very friendly staff. - Convenient location. Cons: - Breakfast options are pretty slim. - Mattress was too soft for our comfort.

I am usually a Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn customer but I decided to check out the Best Western hotel. I had been a previous frequent user of Best Western but had stopped traveling in the early 2000's. I've started traveling again and I found that Best Western is a comparable hotel to Hampton Inn and Fairfield Inn and the cost is significantly lower. Thanks

Affordable, clean, comfortable. Good space and side furniture. All the necessary amenities for road travel. Refrigerator, microwave, quality Wi-Fi, cable-quality TV. Complimentary breakfast. Luggage carts. Elevator. Very short drive to decent restaurants and pubs. Highway proximate (I-70 and I-57). Perfect.

This is a nice hotel with a pool, breakfast, good location, workout area. The day I was there they are in process of renovations so that's a positive. It's a nice hotel for the price and would recommend

We stayed at this hotel after a long days drive and several prior nights at other hotels in other cities, and Delta Inn was head and shoulders above the others. Would definitely stay here again, if in the area.

Good location, clean room and comfortable bed. Very good free breakfast especially something called a bagel topper. Got a good price from Trip Advisor making it a better value. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There was a rubber wedge sticking out from the base of the toilet (not as bad as a stack of sugar packets I suppose), soft surfaces were worn and stained (bed skirt, curtains, and lampshade), loud noise from freeway, and there was a renovation that was occurring during the stay in the hall (torn wallpaper and rooms handwritten on the wall). This was only evident on the app after clicking on 'Hotel Information' and scrolling halfway down the page and reading the hotel spec sheet. When bringing this to the manger's attention, she was persistent that they had a note at the front desk. Well, a note at the front desk if not helpful when you've already made a reservation and are checking in late at night after driving all day. I understand the need for renovation, but it was poorly communicated and handled by the hotel manager. My suggestion: stay elsewhere.

I like this hotel because they provide free EV charging for their guests. My only suggestion is that another EV charger would be a great idea in case more than one Tesla or other EV should show up on the same night.

We were very comfortable & slept well! The facility was clean & well maintained. Our room was clean & homey. We got a good nights rest. Had the regular hotel breakfast foods. If we're back in the area we would definitely stay here!

Read the reviews and have to agree, this is a great place to stay. The room was very clean and quiet. Staff was also very good and helpful. We were surprised at how good the breakfast was. Usually find that the “free breakfast “ at hotels aren't worth the money but we were very pleased with this one. Highly recommended

We travel a lot and look for hotels that are reasonably priced, comfortable and safe, so that we're refreshed when we resume our drive the next day. This Best Western was excellent. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and very clean. Lots of breakfast options. We'll choose this hotel for our next trips. We joined the 'club' for the best rate options.

Check-in for us was easy. (Interestingly, when we later went out to grab dinner the front desk phone was ringing and ringing while the front desk clerk was out in front having a cigarette.) Clean room with comfortable bed with decent pillows. Climate control was fussy but not intrusively loud. TV worked fine with one HBO station. Mini-fridge was sizable. Bathroom was adequate with decent shower head pressure but slippery footing in the tub. Included breakfast was marginal.

This hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, shower had pressure, and a quiet place. There were many restaurants close by to choose for dinner. by car. The staff was welcoming, and internet worked fine.

nice hotel for 1 nite - the commom areas all seemed clean and well kept our room was very nice bed was too soft for our liking but lots of pillows. the room was very clean and neat. they are improving second floor wall paper and first floor had some falling off so maybe that is next. we used the fitness room and it was nice to have a variety of equipment . a nice morning hot breakfast BUTTTTT it is a pet friendly hotel and a few times heard dogs parking at nite and we were not happy to share the breakfast food area with a dog. dogs shouild not be allowed in the eating and food area - (this was not a service dog) then there was the housekeeping staff mostly younger people with kids hanging out in the eating area and main desk area talking and kids a little on screeching. later realized they were the housekeeping staff which were cleaning rooms with infants in slings on them and in strollers being pushed and younger ones running around -. first this is a health hazad to those young children. and if management allows children to be with parents while working they should be under control not running in the halls and yelling etc

Great place to stay! They were replacing the wallpaper on the second floor but you need to update sometime! Room was very clean, beds were comfy and the front desk was friendly. Breakfast was good. I would most definitely stay here again. We joined their rewards program and are staying in another BW tonight!

Wonderful hotel, super clean rooms with great beds and soft pillows. Rooms were extra large too. Hot breakfast with items added as needed. Very clean and neat here too! Staff was friendly at check in and out. Would definitely stay here again when in area.

Have stayed there previously and have always been treated great and always happy. Thus why I keep going back. Always friendly staff, clean rooms, and great breakfast. Love the waffle maker and biscuits. Although I couldn't find any peanut butter so there's that.

If you have any issues, they tell you to see the manager in the morning. The manager wasn't even on the property on a Saturday morning. My issue was that I thought I booked my room with reward points and I questioned the lady when I checked in and she said she was new and didn't know and I would have to see the manager in the morning. The manager refused to help me with this. No effort at all.

Close to highway, very clean, kind staff. Close to amenities. Breakfast was available early so we could get on the road on our time schedule. Easy check in and the clerk helped us reduce the rate we paid by joining the rewards program at no cost.

Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, worth the price right there! Lots of nice little extras, such as instructions posted for heating/cooling controls as well as instructions for how to operate the shower. Also loved the pool - good size, temperature, plenty of towels, lots of windows with scenic view of trees - one of the nicest I have experienced at any of the hotels/motels I have stayed in. The room amenities were good, such as the fridge and microwave and toiletries. The exercise room looked decent but I did not have time to try it out. My biggest complaint is lack of ventilation fan in the bathroom. Have stayed here before and would do so again. Stayed at a different motel in the are once and definitely prefer this one.

1 night stay was comfortable and clean. A bit of remodeling was taking place but did not disturb our stay. All staff was helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. The beds and pillows were super comfortable.

Pet friendly, clean and great curious staff. Had a relaxing and care free stay. Breakfast had a great variety for the guests. Breakfast attendent also was so kind to help guests that had limited mobility to take their food to their table and make their coffee. I hope that this never changes as that was what makes this stay memorable.

I came in late when the local restaurants were closed but the hotel had a nice selection of items for the microwave so I could eat! Room was clean, breakfast was good. I would definitely come back to this hotel!

We became reward members due to friendliness and help showed to us at our stays. Since then, we are looking to find other Best Westerns when we travel. Location and service were little above average. Room was OK and also was the service.

BEDBUG warning. I was unhappy at check in because the hotel does not match the reviews. It was dated and dingy. I decided we could tolerate it for one night but I woke up and found a BEDBUG. The staff was apologetic and refunded our stay but that unfortunately does not make up for the feeling of filth and all that will come with sanitizing our belongings. 0/10

Excellent. Very clean. Great check-in. A bit noisy being by pool and ice maker, but would stay again. Would just ask to be farther away from pool. Nice breakfast. Very nice set-up and very clean. Places to eat nearby. Easy on and easy off from Interstate.

My kids and I just passing through needed a spot to sleep, with kids you tend to pay more attention to surrounding and where ur staying!! I felt safe it was quiet and the room was clean it meet our needs

Nice place to stay, friendly staff, easily accessed from highway, clean, comfortable. We had stayed at this same location a year ago and were happy it worked out in our travel plans to stay at this same location again.

Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we picked this pet friendly hotel for our second night traveling north from our winter stay in SW Georgia. The front desk was helpful and accommodating when we changed the night of our stay and in making sure we had a first floor room. Lots of safe space to walk the dogs. The noise from the interstate was loud outside but we didn't hear anything in our room. Beds comfortable, plenty of amenities, very clean, lots of options for takeout dining. The shower mechanism was different than usual and we appreciated the clear signage on how to use it. This was our first experience with the updated Best Western brand and were very pleased.

Arrived to a very pleasant greeting at the desk. Found room very clean and the best bed on our trip of 5 weeks. Good night's rest. Went down to breakfast at 6:30 and found it did not open until 7. Asked clerk what they have in case we would want to just leave. The young girl working said she did not know but it starts at 7. Not very helpful! We waited until 7:10 and b not breakfast served and people long up. We decided to grab a to go bag and hit the road. Place is neat and clean and smelled clean. It would be top notch if clerk was more fired up and food was on time. Once people are lined up it could run out before you get served.

This is just like every other Best Western I have stayed in....excellent. The swimming pool was open and clean. The breakfast was above expectations for a free breakfast. The internet was fast and the room was clean. The note at the side of the bed and the tiny bag of jelly beans? The cherry on top.

very nice place, somewhat secluded. rooms were clean, coffee was hot. we had to leave earlier than the breakfast, but they let us get coffee and muffins so that was nice. i will stay again next year around the same time

This is our first time staying at this hotel in Effingham. It was a wonderful stay. We were greeted graciously on arrival. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Close to many restaurants. Easy access from the freeway. Early check in was a breeze as you could choose the location of your room, 1st or 2nd floor, pets. Very convenient. Our new go to hotel when driving through.

We arrived early evening just about sunset and were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was surrounded by a wooded area, just the sound of birds nearby. A few of the hotel guests had evening walks around the parking lot because it was so pleasant a setting and we exchanged a pleasant hello when passing by. . Lobby is warm and welcoming, staff were very friendly. The rooms were comfy and clean, bathrooms spotless. We had a quiet night's sleep. Would stay here again for sure.

Upon arrival at 6pm we were invited to have snacks and 2 drinks at no charge. It was so nice to be able to relax and sip some nice Chardonnay with some cheeses and crackers. We stay at Best Western Delta Inn once or twice a year. Even though the personnel are changed the service and friendliness is always good.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western! The front desk staff was super kind upon arrival and I had a great room. The complimentary happy hour was such a nice treat, and they had breakfast AND grab and go bags available. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

I need hotels that are pet friendly and have EV charging for guests. Best Western Effingham has both so I'll be back. I would really like if they had more than one EV charger in case several Electric cars show up. They are getting more popular all the time!

The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for us and our two pets. Room was clean and comfortable. We arrived late but the staff was available and responsive. The parking area lighting was great as we had a packed car.

Great value - clean room, easy check in, enjoyed the pool, fitness room, and hot breakfast. They provide dog treats at check in and certainly pet friendly. Easy access from the freeway. Will certainly be staying at BW in the future.

I stayed here as a stop over on my way to Kansas City. After driving all day, this was the perfect place to stay. Very clean room, quiet and comfortable bed. I will be staying here on my return trip also!

Fantastic stay! Staff were welcoming and informative, especially Martha! The bed and pillows were comfortable and cozy and the rooms were very clean. The first stay was so great that we stopped on our way back to Texas. Their entire team were polite, professional and on top of their game! Kudos!!

This hotel is wonderful to stay in. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. I believe that you will enjoy the free drinks and snacks they offer during their little cocktail hour as well as their complementary full breakfast. The pool and hot tub are kept well and there is a lot more amenities that makes the stay even more nice. For the price you pay, you simply can not beat the value and quality you get.

We have not been staying at best Western for the last few years. Because they were less expensive, we chose the property. I was delighted with the price, cleanliness, and service. In the future I will have a best Western in the mix of choices for hotel stays.

We were here for 1 night traveling through. It was okay, desk staff weren't overly helpful, but that happens sometitmes. Room was ok, no problems noted. We like the cancellation policy in case something comes up. Not a bad choice,

One of the things that was pretty impressive, when we entered this property, was the delightful smell! They had automatic deodorizers in the lobby - a nice touch. The check-in person was quite friendly and provided great assistance. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was well stocked. An extra nice touch, was the fact that the breakfast offering was over-the-top for me - they offered something other than regular milk!! In all of our travels, I get rather upset that a non-dairy option is not offered for those choosing to eat cereal. This was splendid & I mentioned it to the worker!

The hotel for the cost was excellent. The room was clean and had little extra clean amenities (disinfectants). Very easy access off highway to hotel. Room was quite. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was warm and great choices.

This is a surprisingly nice hotel for the price. The hotel was very clean. It appears to have been renovated within several years. This hotel was recommended to us by friends who stay here regularly. It is conveniently located close to the highway. The room was nice. The bathroom clean and the shower was hot. I didn't care for the bed but my wife found it very comfortable. It's a pillow top type mattress. Sink in quite a bit. Bed comfort is very subjective ... but it appeared to be a newer mattress. Sheets were clean. Of ultimate importance to me is cleanliness... no points lost here. There was a nice little note from the cleaning staff wishing us a nice stay. I may be a tad sentimental but I like that sort of thing.

We spotted this hotel off the highway in Effingham and decided to stop for the night. We liked that it was easily seen from the highway and convenient. The room was standard and clean but most importantly, the bedding was was comfortable! They accepted pets for a modest price and any discounts such as AAA or AARP or military discounts will help to give some additional savings. Breakfast is served daily at 7 daily and checkout at noon which is nice for those who would like to sleep in a bit longer from the road. The parking lot was well lit with ample areas to walk your furry ones :). The hallways to the room were also well lit and appeared clean that I admired. There were many places to choose for dine in or take out close by and access to petrol stations as well; even a Starbucks for that caffeine road fix! The price was reasonable for their rooms. I would recommend and stay here again- clean, easy access off highway, pet friendly and close to places to eat make this hotel a plus for those travelling by car solo, family or pets.

Most important, it was very clean! Fully stocked, and everything in the room worked. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay at a Best Wester again. didn't try the pool but my family said it was great.

Hard to find a hotel where all the staff is friendly and attentive. Room was clean. Did not use the pool but it looked inviting. Loved the jets in the tub but it took awhile to fill (water ran slow..Location was great. Right off 57. But I definitely would stay here again.

Spotless room, wonderful clean pool. Electric hookup for our hybrid. Breakfast provided. Close to the freeway. Many good restaurants within one mile. A perfect stop for any tired traveler. If we are ever through this area, this will be our stop.

This hotel is very nice for a roadside Best Western. It is really clean, comfortable, cool, quiet and the staff is very professional and polite. The check-in was really quick and they have a nice electric car charger for electric vehicle. There is a McAlister‘s deli next-door that we were able to walk to for a quick dinner. All in all a win-win!

We stayed here on our way to and From Missouri and it was clean, the bed was comfy, breakfast was free a pretty good deal. Everyone was kind and helpful. They had space for our truck with the boat attached.

Be more accommodating about a later check out and maybe refunding money better?? Also maybe start serving breakfast earlier I leave for work from the hotel sometimes before 530 and breakfast doesn't start until I think 6 or 630

This Best Western was by far one of the best dog friendly hotels we've stayed. When traveling long distance with our kids and small dog, it's important to find a safe and comfortable place to stop for the night. The staff here was professional and went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, including a wonderful array of complimentary toiletries. There were even little bags of treats ready for our dog. Although we did not use the pool, it appeared well taken care of. Best of all, the grab and go breakfast bags included a dedicated gluten free option. I highly recommend this location to anyone traveling with kids and pets.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. That's really the important things in an overnight stay. Although it was not an "accessible" room there was a grab bar in the tub. Us older travelers appreciate that and it's really a great safety feature for everyone. There was a shelf under the vanity. Great for storing your toiletry bag, etc. They provided a makeup face cloth and we had three towels. Hooray! One for my hair. The thermostat for the AC was on the wall and the AC was quiet. The TV size was just okay, but there was a very good cable TV channel selection. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay, clean room and great staff who were able to completely accommodate all of my needs. The breakfast was slightly limited due to covid, but overall not too bad. Great job all around.

We stayed here last night for one night. There are currently restrictions in place due to COVID-19. Initially we were given a used room, but quickly switched to a clean one. The property is working on minimal staffing due to business being so slow. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim. The bed was comfortable and the room relatively quiet. Mini fridge and microwave in the room were fine. They provided us with grab and go brown bag breakfast since the breakfast buffet was closed. Very nice and helpful staff, very clean facility. We would stay here again.

Had a horrible stay at this hotel I recommend staying anywhere but here in Effingham IL. My family stayed there on 6/19/21 we checked in and took our stuff to the room and then went down to the pool so our kids could have some fun after a long days drive the fire alarm went off three times during our swim which I understand is rare and if that was all that happened I could get past it but when we returned to our room none of the channels on the tv worked but by then it was late and we needed to get our kids to sleep so I hooked up my ipad to the tv and watched movies that way and we got some sleep the next morning we woke up to discover that the ice bucket had a crack in it and had leaked water all over our stuff we spent the 1.5hrs drying our belongings. When we checked out the receptionist said she would pass along all that had happened to the manager but she probably wouldn't give us any compensation. With so many hotels in the area I highly recommend staying somewhere else

We have stayed here several times. The hotel is very clean and quiet. Lots of dogs and you have to watch were you step. The staff is very helpful and do a great job. Parking is very close and several close by places to eat.

Thiswasan amazing property. Had so many small touches that made it enjoyable. 2 free drinks, continental breakfast, clean, friendly and even treats for our dog. Wonderful property...the most enjoyable stay on our journey.

The care this motel gave to its landscaping around the parking area was a clue to the care it gave this property. The room was great, clean with comfortable beds and bedding, quiet, with a small refrigerator. We had a pet friendly room on the second floor and unlike some "pet friendly" places, this one was very clean. The breakfast provided was good, with eggs, potatoes, cereal, fruit, good OJ, and a friendly staff person. Front desk was very friendly and efficient. Price was fair, more than a "budget" motel but quite reasonable.

Very nice hotel and a heart location. Wish the breakfast was a little better but under current covid issues totally understand. Very friendly staff and great place for pets. Very quite and got the best night sleep I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back.

This hotel was clean. The bathroom was updated and shower worked well. Perhaps at some point the carpeting in the room could get replaced, but was alright. The bed was comfortable. The front desk person was very friendly as well as the breakfast staff. There was a menu to choose foods and the staff served us breakfast. This hotel is close to the interstate which was a plus, but did hear the traffic noise in the morning. We definitely will stay here again as we travel.

The hotel staff was friendly and the accommodations were superb. We highly recommend this hotel. We traveled with our pet and they even had little doggy treat bags for her. The grass area was clean and the rooms were updated.

We found the Best Western Delta Inn to have the three elements we most seek in a motel - cleanliness, comfort, quite -- and given the price, we found it reasonable compared to the competition. Effingham has a lot of motels and we have stayed elsewhere but were not as impressed with them. I would have given it a 5-star rating, but it accepts pets and I never know if I'm staying in a room previously occupied by an animal, something we don't appreciate.

Excellent customer service from everyone I came into contact with! Check in was quick and efficient, the room had a seal on it indicating no one has been in the room since housekeeping cleaned it, the room was spacious and very clean.

We booked last minute on the road. Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean and comfortable and gave us a good night's rest for an early start in the morning. There was hot food and quick cereals for breakfast as well as grab and go.

This place gets three stars for cleanliness, service, and allowing pets. The main issue is that the beds were not queen beds, as advertised. I booked a room with two queen beds, but the beds were both double/full size. Additionally, the pillows were small and not appropriate for sleeping on. The pillows were square and smaller than twin sized bed pillows. Very uncomfortable night overall.

This is the second time I have stayed at this facility when traveling south and I have been so pleased both times! I would highly recommend this place to everyone! The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly! Served our needs well!

Driving cross country to move my daughter for work, so we were travelling with her dog. Pet Friendly is an understatement. They even have a basket of dog treats! Room was spacious (plenty of room for her crate) and clean. Beds very comfortable. Staff was incredibly friendly, and helpful as we actually needed to stay an extra night due to weather, I would highly suggest this hotel if you need to stop in this area. It's even worth travelling a little further just to get here!

This was just an overnight stay. I have booked the same hotel for my return trip. Everything was in perfect working order. It was very clean. The bedding was luxurious. I slept soundly. The shower had great water pressure and the shower curtain had NO funky smell! The sink's plug worked and I like to fill up the sink to wash, so that impresses me. Many sink plugs in other hotels do not function. The TV was nice and BIG, with very good reception. The lighting was very good. I like a bright room.

Pleased with room, amenities. Staff and value! Grab and go breakfast bags were great! Kids enjoyed pool and being pet friendly was a great perk. Lots of extra little touches throughout the hotel made our stay one to remember.

We didn't have a reservation and just needed a layover on the way home from AZ. Stopped here and was checked in and in our room in under 15 minutes. Staff (Martha) was welcoming and very efficient. We love most all of the Best Western's, they go above and beyond! Room was clean and comfortable, didn't get to try the breakfast as we were on our way again early in the morning. Also loved that this hotel was literally right off the interstate.

Traveling back to Wisconsin from Gulf Shores. After an awful condo in Gulf Shores, we were delighted to be welcomed to this hotel. They kept their complimentary bar service open for us with snacks. The entire hotel was clean. Our room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Our pet was welcomed also. Breakfast was limited due to Covid, but grab and go bag was very thoughtful. This will be our place when traveling in the area. Recommendation for dinner was also amazing at the Gabby Goat!

One is never sure what to expect with hotels at this point in time. I was a bit nervous about booking a hotel in this state on my trip through based on stays at other more premium hotel brands. I had some travel cards to use up and decided to stay. A very enjoyable stay from the start with a full or nearly full breakfast offering served by ordering with an attendant and taking it back to your room. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

The room was very nice and clean. The staff members were very helpful. The hotel provided a good hot breakfast of bacon and egg, egg sandwich, bagels, yogurt, cereal, pastries, muffins, juices and coffee .

Excellent service, wonderful staff and room. The lobby, hall and room were all very clean with stylish decor. I liked the plush bedding and mattress -- very comfortable. However, the pillows were too thick for me and so I wish I had brought my own pillow. The location is excellent with easy access off interstate, a McAllister's Deli next door, and many other restaurants, shops, and Wal-Mart just down the street.

I stayed here on a road trip from Arkansas to NY. I booked last-minute and ended up in the first room on the first floor. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. The hotel is right off the exit, so you can't miss it. Most people traveling through Effingham just need a place to crash for a night, and this is a good price for a good room.

The room was very comfortable and nicely furnished with everything one would need for an overnight stay. Breakfast is take-away, and an attendant gets what you'd like from a list of mostly pre-packaged items. The only thing that surprised us during this pandemic is that none of the housekeeping staff were wearing masks. When I inquired about it at the front desk (where they were masked), I was told that masks aren't required. They leave hand-written notes on the nightstands saying that the room has been sanitized along with a small bottle of hand sanitizer, so the mask issue didn't reflect what the note said. This may or may not affect your decision about whether or not to stay there, but it's worth knowing the policy ahead of time.

Rooms were very quiet, beds/pillows were comfy, towels were soft, kids enjoyed the pool, was able to control the temperature of our room to our liking (cold with constant fan), very clean. Dog treats at front desk and lots of areas to walk your dog.

I like this hotel. As well as being pet friendly they provide free EV charging. It's sometimes difficult to find a hotel that does both of these things. They gave my wife and I a tasty breakfast in spite of the COVID restrictions.

Always have stayed in Best Westerns because of their quality and rewards. This hotel was better than expected. Super clean, super nice staff and slept quite well. Even Curly our dog liked it! He snored too.

Excellent experience. Extremely clean and surprisingly quiet considering the proximity to the highway. The bed was super comfortable. Staff were wearing masks and care about your safety. One side of the lot was very dark and they need to repair the light.

I was very impressed by how they administered breakfast in the mist of social distancing. They had a person available to take your order and prepare the plate for you. They had a very good selection. There was an happy hour til 6:30pm where they gave each of us 2 drink tickets. They had a wide selection of drinks with a number of local wines. The staff was very friendly. The location met our needs in terms of our half way point of our trip.

Close to the highway but VERY quiet. All were masked. Check-in was seamless. There was a minor need when we got to our room. Solved within minutes with an apology note slid under the door a few minutes later. As a retired business traveler i was shocked at the level of care and very impressed by Faith and how she managed the hotel. Heartily recommend this place for anyone travelling in the area.

Really appreciated the extra steps taken by the hotel to clean/sanitize the room during the pandemic. The manager had a note in the room outlining what they'd done, and it showed. The breakfast to go included a good selection of wrapped fruit; you could even grab some instant oatmeal etc Highly recommend. Had to drive to restaurant to pick up food, but no issues given the circumstances.

Just off the Interstate, pouring rain, and restaurants shutting down in the disease crisis of March 2020, we dragged ourselves in to the Best Western Delta Inn. General Manager Darcy Nestler and her team took charge at check-in. Friendly, professional, caring and cleaning, they made us feel 'saved.' They provided customers with a sheet of paper with names and phone numbers of area restaurants that were doing delivery or drive-thru/pick up food service. 1st class, when you're near Effingham, IL check out this Best Western Delta Inn.

Samantha at the front desk is truly professional, courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offered a modified breakfast due to the pandemic. The indoor pool is handy accessible.

Rooms was amazing as always. The house keeping crew left me a note assuring the room had been sanitized due to the pandemic and made me feel even more comfortable being out in public instead of being at my house.

The hotel is clean, updated, and well maintained. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The morning front desk staff was very friendly. The breakfast selection was very good with better options than the standard hotel breakfast. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby and it is very much appreciated because we like to get on the road early.

This hotel had an entry presence of a more upscale hotel. The rooms a little less so, but we're very quiet. The queen beds were high & comfortable. Their mini fridge was a nice size. The pool area did not have a hot tub, but did have an adjacent patio with BBQ. All at a reasonable price!

This motel was very clean and had a nice breakfast with a good variety of breakfast choices offered. One thing we have never had at any other motel was was being offered two free drinks and snacks from 4:30- 6:30. After a long day driving it was really nice to have that because it was relaxing and made us feel very welcome!

We had the best hotel experience ever. Easy on and off from highway 57. Grant checked us in. He was friendly and helpful. We arrived in time for happy hour and received 2 free drinks each with a nice selection of appetizers. The room was spacious and clean. We will make a point to stay here when passing through in the future. Everything was perfect!

Spent one night here and was very pleased. Room was clean and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on at a hotel (or anywhere!) We had a very quiet night, no sounds coming from adjacent rooms or above. I've heard they have concrete walls.

We have stayed here before when visiting my daughter and her family, and we keep going back because of the excellent staff and quality of environment. We were celebrating my grandsons 3rd birthday and the staff were very helpful in making our stay and activities comfortable and inviting

stayed 1 night en route to home, room was comfortable, warm in wintry weather, breakfast was great, evening drinks totally unexpected and a pleasant surprise, check-in and -out quick and painless. The decor of lobby could use an update, looks very 90s-ish. But clean and in good repair, despite aging appearance.

We go out of our way to stay here. Very clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and attentive. Good breakfast and pool. They have local newspapers and of course USA Today. Right off the interstate and plenty of nearby restaurants.

Very comfortable hotel easily accessed off main highway. The decor is up to date. Room was very comfortable. While there is no restaurant attached, there is one just across the parking lot, which was very convenience after a long day of driving. The hotel also offered a decent variety of snacks, sodas, even frozen meals to heat up in the room. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I would like BS to add more variety to their breakfasts, but this was very good in comparison to some.

This was half way home trip break up for us. The hotel and room were clean and well kept. Martha at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Hotel close to restaurants and interstate but also quiet so we didn't have anything wake us up too early.

This hotel is far and above your regular hotel. Breakfast was very good with a large selection. Everything was hot and plentiful. The happy hour was a treat with snacks and drinks. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nice place to stay while driving through Effingham. Right off the freeway and convenient to a lot of things. Very clean and comfortable. Many good restaurants only a short drive away such as Effing Brewing Co., a small craft brewery.

The hotel was the best place we stayed on our trip moving our daughter and son-in-law back to their home state. A very pet friendly location with lots of open area for your late evening/early morning dog walks. Staff was very accomodating. Rooms were spotless as was the lobby area. Breakfast was approved by all.

My family and I were incredibly impressed with everything about this Best Western hotel. We generally try to stay at Best Western hotels for the rewards points, but this was hands down the best one we have stayed at. It was impeccably clean and organized. The staff were very kind and helpful. Check in and check out were very simple. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was hot and fresh. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This is our second time staying at this hotel and it won't be our last. The hotel has added evening snacks which they did not previously offer. What a bonus when you come in after along drive. This will not be our last stay. We will be back when we are in the area again.

I visit this area roughly once a month on business and the majority of the time stay here. Front desk service was friendly and direct. They also have a happy hour from 4-6pm roughly which is a nice touch. They have cold drinks and snacks. Complimentary breakfast was very good and I left satisfied. Everything about the room was clean and well taken care of. The hotel is a good location and easy to get to. Its easy to find local places to eat or visit from here. I've stayed at another hotel in Effingham and overall they are comparable, everything but value. This one is better priced and has complimentary breakfast.

This was our 4th time staying there and as always everything was great. The breakfast was excellent with different dishes each morning. The room was nice and clean with no issues. Will be staying there on future trips.

This was a nice hotel, signs indicated that the carpets were being removed and installed. The pool and workout room were nice. Doesn't have a hot tub. We enjoyed our stay except for the fact that breakfast on the weekend did not even start until 7:00 am. With 2 big groups at the hotel at once, it was very hectic getting breakfast since we couldn't start till 7:00 am and they ran out of things and couldn't fill them back fast enough - the cook didn't come in that day. Would wish for an earlier time to eat breakfast so groups can get on the road.

We love staying at the Delta Inn. The staff is Always welcoming. Rooms are always clean. We've tried 2 other hotels in Effingham but once we stayed at the Delta Inn we decided never to go elsewhere again!

There's nothing to complain about at this price point. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The unit is immediately off the freeway and there are plenty of fast food options nearby. Ample parking and a nice indoor pool; recommended.

I would've given 5 stars - except the hall carpet was filthy. However, the room was immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable, the shampoo, conditioner, lotion quality was very good. They offered 2 drinks per guest during their happy hour. The breakfast was above average. It was obvious the hotel strives to provide an excellent experience for the guests. If only they would clean the hall carpet - the first impression would match the room.

We were driving back home from a long road trip to several National Parks in the west and were just looking for a place to stay overnight. This hotel was very convenient from I-70. The staff was very welcoming to two weary travelers. The small refrigerator in the room had a freezer compartment. This is important to us because we re-freeze a couple of Freezer Paks each night, and place them in a small cooler while in our car to keep medications, etc. cool in our car during the roadtrip. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms very clean. All in all, a very good experience.

The Best Western Delta Inn is close to many amenities and very close to a major interstate exit; however, it sits in a very quiet area with no distractions or noise. There is plenty of free parking available.

Very friendly check in. Edie did a great job and gave us an upgrade since we're Best Western members. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. Check out was easy. The room was large and clean.

I love this hotel and the staff are amazing! We stayed in the Jacuzzi suite. The room was spotless, the tub was fantastic and the bed was super comfy! We were on the quiet side (even number room) and it was very relaxing!

Appreciated their extended kindness to me and the 8 week old puppy I was traveling with. Extremely easy to get the puppy in and out, clean pet areas and a quiet area for our room. Very clean establishment!

Upon check in, we were offered drink tickets and snacks which was much needed and appreciated. Everyone was very friendly. The pool was clean and made for a very relaxing day! Having the refrigerator and microwave was very handy and needed.

The service was excellent; the room and its decor and/or amenities were terrific; and -- at least from Sunday through Thursday late afternoons, the Happy Hour selections of drink and hors d'oeuvers were delightful.

My wife and I spent the night at this hotel on our way to Chicago. The pros I listed were decent breakfast for an American hotel, EV charger, fairly large room, okay price, and the shower worked well. One con was that some of the furniture and furnishings appeared outdated. Also, my wife complained about a curtain that admitted light in the morning. For breakfast, I had scrambled egg, raisin bran with nuts, cut watermelon, and grapes.

This hotel is very well-maintained and staff are very friendly. The hotel was also very quiet even though it is right off the freeway. Easy access from the freeway and many restaurants in the local area.

We were traveling from Mississippi to Michigan for a family vacation and decided to split our driving in two days. The Bestwestern was the half way point. The reservation process was easy and the location could not be better. It was right of the expressway. The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly. The morning breakfast buffet has a variety of food and it was tasty and hot. My wife and I were so impressed with this location that I booked it for the return trip.

Very good value and clean. Also located near a variety of restaurants. Bed was comfortable and staff pleasant. I would prefer a coffee maker that would allow kcups. We bring our own as we don't care for the brands most hotels provide. But I am very particular about my coffee.

Dirty! The carpets in the hallway and room are filthy. The room had a foul odor. Blood stains on pillow case, dirty, stained bed skirts on bed. We had to wipe down the fridge which had spills down the front of it. I was shocked since most of the reviews that I read were great for this place. Won't stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience with Best Western Delta Inn in Effingham IL...from the time we made the reservation to check in, the relaxed complimentary happy hour, lovely decor, very clean. Special kudos to all the staff (especially Grant), very friendly, helpful & always with a smile.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and it is a great deal. The staff is super, the beds are amazingly comfortable for hotel of this level and it is always clean. I like that it is only 2 levels and smaller number of rooms then the bigger chains in town. It is pretty quiet even though close to the exit. There is a restaurant within walking distance and the morning breakfast has a good selection. You can't beat the value of this hotel compared to the Hampton inn and others in town. In fact, this hotel was a Hampton Inn before a Best Western.

The facility was clean and in excellent condition. The staff was great. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The location was very convenient for us to stop for the night. It is right off of the highway.

Egg, cheese bacon on a bagel half was surprisingly VERY tasty. Yum. Best breakfast in a Best Western with the extra choices. Bed was hardest I have ever slept on, but maybe I got the hardest one in the hotel?

Room was clean, everything was in working order and the hotel was close to I-57. Breakfast had a selction of choices from hot oatmeal with toppings, toast, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, pastries and cereal.

I stayed at this Best Western, on a cross country road trip. It was only for one night, but I really needed to get some sleep in a decent hotel. This was just what the doctor ordered. was a breeze. Darcy, the General Manager, was incredibly kind to me and the woman (was it Chelsea?) who checked me in, greeted me with such a lovely smile. She listened to my concerns as a female traveling alone and gave me a room in a safe location (near the front desk) which put me at ease. I noticed that there was a little social "happy hour" in the lobby - where all the guests are invited. If I wasn't so blown out from the `14 hours on the road, I would have joined in, but I chose to just grab a deli sandwich from across the parking lot, and get some early rest. Remarkably, I heard no noise from the lobby happy hour, through the walls in my room. I entered the room with my service animal, and was so pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness!!! It felt like a brand new room! I am easily grossed out by hotel rooms because I stay in so many, but this one was immaculate - right down to the linens. I slept like a baby. No noise. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was great. I started my day with a ton of energy because I stayed in a nice hotel that provided all the comfort a traveler wishes to have during their stopover. Very easy to get to this hotel from route 90. Plenty of restaurant choices and gas stations.

We booked online a king bed. When we got there we were given a queen . We check with the front desk clerk , who was tried very hard to help us. Apparently they were overbooked and switched rooms without our knowledge . I asked if there was any other kings, she said yes, suites, at $10.00 more. She could not give me the king room , and needed to call a manager, no problem . Manager said no to us getting a king room. This surprised me since we travel a lot and thought customer service was important to BW . So we stayed in the smaller queen room. I would like to suggest that they clean the hall carpets on the first floor, looking pretty nasty . Also make sure you get a room away from freeway side. Trucks will wake u up.

This is our go to stop on our drive from Michigan to Arkansas. Clean, comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. Enjoyed the free cocktails and snacks in early evening and the free breakfast in the morning. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this property.

We pass through the Effingham, IL area a couple times a year. We've found this Best Western has been ideal for our overnight travel stop needs. It's in a good location, staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms are comfortable and everything works. The breakfast is at least above average and the coffee is always on.

This was our nest-to-last night on the road of a 3-week road trip to the west coast and back, so we were pleasantly surprised to find that the Best Western here holds a happy hour in the lobby from 4:30 to 6:30. Beer, wine, and some mixed drinks are offered. Each of us upon check-in received two tickets to be redeemed for free drinks. It was very pleasant - the wine was from a local vinyard so that was nice to try, and the other travelers there were fun to talk with and get to know a little bit. There were lots of snack foods out also. Very nice atmosphere! The hotel itself was clean, quiet, well-kept and had a really nice indoor pool in a two-story high windowed atrium - very inviting.

This was a great hotel to stay at. Ease of getting to hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful telling where to eat.The bed were very comfortable and rooms were very clean. The breakfast was good.

While traveling and looking for a place to stay for the night, I came across reviews for this hotel and decided they were too good to be accurate, They weren't. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable and the towels thick and fluffy. They offered breakfast and an unbelievable evening reception with 2 drinks for each guest (wine, beer and alcohol) along with several quality snacks. To make it even better, the price, after taxes, was a little over $100. Other hotels in the area were $150 before taxes.

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. We stayed at the BW Delta Inn on our way to Florida and decided to stay there again on our way back. It's an easy on and off the highway. The check in was fast and smooth and the front desk girls were pleasant and professional during both stays. The Manager's reception was a very nice touch offering cocktails and snacks and a chance to meet the other guests. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The beds were amazing and the room was dark and cool. Just the way we like our sleeping quarters. The breakfast buffet was tasty, hot and plentiful. Good choices and the omelettes were a great start to our long day on the road. We will most definitely plan on staying here next year on our snowbird adventure. Effingham was an enjoyable city to explore and we look forward to returning. Thank you Best Western.

Great place to stayThe whole Inn was very clean, beds wonderful! We had a wonderful breakfast, staff provided our little one with a high chair! I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends!

Had to change rooms and switch floors to escape the dreaded deodorizer - this seems to be a problem now that most hotels accept pets. Going to have to try and find hotels that don't - maybe shying away from big hotel chains. Cant understand why pets aren't contained on one floor only so the need for the deodorizer a and be used only in pet rooms

The hotel was conveniently located by the interstate. When we arrived they offered us 2 free drinks and snacks. our room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We left very early in the morning, the staff had fresh coffee on for us and gave us a to go bag as we couldn't stay for breakfast.

Rooms were very clean and orderly. The staff was polite and the check in was a breeze took only 2 minutes even without a reservation. Breakfast good and the staff made sure items were available and hot. I would recommend this Best Western and will stay there again on my next travel in that area.

we used to avoid the best western hotels. they were never very consistent. they were usually clean but outdated, sometimes dark, and just not a sure bet. in the last 2 years we have taken a chance on some of the newer looking ones. we have been pleasantly surprised to see that they now have crisp white linens, not the nasty polyester bedspreads with dark designs as in the past. they have a nice variety on the breakfast bar...even healthier choices. speedy wifi and big flat screens that you don't need a manual to operate. not sure how the change occurred, but so glad it did. great job Best Western.

Good experience overall minus the pool gate, it cut my back open. And i have a huge gash now, i didnt report it at the time because it was 7:45 and i had a screaming baby, i would figure out something better, thats the perfect height to hit a little kid in the head

This hotel is amazing. From the staff to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the pool and the 2 FREE cocktails (Sun-Thurs)...We were so glad that we chose this area to stop in on our way home from Florida. There was a storm headed our way, so we decided that we should pull off. Had seen the Best Western Billboard along the highway and it said FREE COCKTAILS, so we thought maybe they had a bar and restaurant. Nope, just a young girl serving cocktails and dinner in the lobby...didn't even have to leave the property - Worked out perfect! We would stay here again whenever we are in the area!

I was just stopping for the night and I was late getting in. Martha greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly hello. All of the amenities where great! Even a small happy hour which I didn't expect. Breakfast was HOT and delicious, rooms was clean and comfortable, and check out was easy since they slipped the receipt under the door!

Was quite pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Travelling cross country and picked this hotel because of the location and cost. Found it to be superior to other hotels that cost more. Room was clean and comfortable, heating system worked great and the complimentary adult beverages served in the lobby for happy hour were a very pleasant surprise! Staff friendly and professional.

Grant at the front desk was busy but still smiling and warmly welcoming ~ even though my reservation, made through BW app, complete with confirmation number via email, was not in the system...but everything else was FAB !!! Lovely property. Room was nicely appointed w/fridge/micro & flat screen TV. Bathroom was sparkling clean with generous supply of bright white fluffy towels. Beds were super comfortable with nice linens and heavenly pillows. Free wifi but for some reason I never could connect. I needed to print off some permits and was able to do so with the computer & printer available to guests in the lobby. There was a Happy Hour in progress when I arrived and it seemed the guests were enjoying themselves. The pool looked inviting. Didn't partake of the continental in the morning, but it looked well tended and delicious with standard hot & cold items including fresh fruit. Another smiling & helpful staff member, Martha, quickly issued my receipt upon departure. Highly recommend and would DEFINITELY stay here again.

We really enjoyed our visit. Quick and easy check-in. A very comfortable room and bed. Newly renovated and spotlessly clean. Our room came with a large minne fridge, microwave, and larger TV screen than we are used to. Good hot breakfast. The price was very reasonable for what we got.

The only problem I had was with the card reader lock on room door. Pool was not cold and nice size. Place was clean and well kept. The staff was pleasand and helpfull. This is one of 2 places i stay when in Effingham

We stopped here for the night on 1/11/18 during a snowstorm. Rooms were reasonably priced and it cost only an additional $15 for our dog. The front desk staff was really nice and genuinely seemed concerned that we were safely off the icy roads. They were super sweet to our little dog too. Breakfast was more than expected. Room was clean and bed comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

No complaints about this place as quick overnight headed someplace else. Which is what Effingham is. Great comfortable beds. Lots of pillows. Big room with a nice chair. Decent breakfast in a nice lobby space. I also like the 2nd floor seating area for those who wake up in the middle of the night and need to sit and read without bothering their roommates. The staff are great and take pride in the place.

Room was very nice and clean. Lobby and breafast area were kept clean and organized. Hotel hosted a happy hour with refreshments - a nice extra. The location close to the interstate was convienient. And it was all provided at a good price.

Got a room here on short notice on Christmas eve. Staff were lovely and the rooms were great. 2 big beds,comfey pillows, wifi, microwave and fridge in the rooms. Add in the snack station in the entry and we were set. The next morning was hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and 2 kinds of do it yourself waffles. Yummy! The only 'odd' thing was the art in the room. One of the prints reminded us of a lung xray and the other was just as strange.

Our travel plans had been altered due to weather and we found that Effingham would be a convenient stop. We checked trip advisor and saw good reviews for the Best Western. I made reservations by calling the hotel directly because we travel with our dog and we try to get a quiet room. Grant was most helpful and even told met that I had enough points in the Best Western Rewards program to have a free night. At check-in Grant had my requested room away from the lobby and traffic. The hotel itself was clean and modern, nicely decorated for the holidays. Our room was also comfortable with a great bed. The parking lot was well lit and had a dog bag station with plenty of area to walk my dog. The breakfast choices were hot and delicious. The Best Western Delta in lived up to its great reviews. You won't be disappointed.

I just had an overnight stay but was very pleased. The check in was smooth , the hotel looked nice on both the outside and inside. They also had a nice indoor pool , which I didn't get the opportunity to enjoy. The room was very clean .

Good hotel for the price. My family stopped here for one night. Check in was quick. We had a reservation through Best Western Rewards and they recognized us as an Elite member. We stayed one night. We left early so we did not enjoy the free breakfast.

I love Best Western's and have yet to be disappointed with one we have stayed at. This BW is a little tricky to get to, but I saw that as an advantage as there wasn't a lot of busy traffic around the hotel. Even though it seemed a little out of the way, it is close to a number of eating establishments that you can easily drive to within a few minutes. In addition, there is a wonderful deli right next door that you can walk to. The hotel was very clean and the desk clerk was friendly. Our room and bathroom were clean (which is the most important to me), the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were wonderful. After a long day of travel, we had a great nights sleep.

We were traveling through on our way home. We had stayed at Best Westerns before but this one is by far the Best of the Best. Check-in was smooth. Staff is extremely polite, helpful and kind. When we arrived they were hosting a happy hour with 2 free drinks per person and snacks. This was a great way to wind down after a 9 hour drive. In the lobby they have cold water with lemons. A nice touch. The hotel is very clean. We had a room in the back and it was very quiet in spite of being right off the I-70. Lot was large enough for us to park our trailer.

Second time at this location very pleased with overall stay. Checkin and out was seamless. Friendly staff. Hotel itself and Room clean and comfortable. Never seen cleaner bathrooms which is always something I judge a hotel by. Price is reasonable , breakfast good, quiet room and they have a very nice indoor pool! Easy access off interstate. Will definitely stay again!

After a very long drive we arrived at hotel and was met by a wonderful staff. Very kind and courteous, with cold lemon water in the lobby, and coffee or tea if you wanted. The bed was so comfortable and I was concerned about the noise from the road but we got a room near the back and it was quiet. The pool is large and inviting but we did not get a chance to use it as we had a very long day. The manager recommended a new brewery for supper and it was wonderful.

I've stayed at this location a few times visiting clients in the area. Always clean and I get a decent night sleep. Eveything was in good working order. The price is reasonable. I would stay here again.

Driving south on I-57 we stopped at the Delta Best Western in Effingham. We arrived after dark and checked in on a very cold fall evening. The lobby was inviting with a glowing fireplace and some hot chocolate to warm up. The desk clerks both at checkin and checkout were very nice and accommodating. Our first floor king room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the linens great. There is a very nice indoor pool, which we did not use, but is available for those who choose to swim. Amazingly, the hotel is very quiet although located very close to the interstate. There are many eateries located nearby. The breakfast bar included a variety of tasty items which we enjoyed. We have stayed here in the past, and we still recommend this fine hotel.

We stayed here on our way home to Michigan. We have stayed at many Best Western properties and have always found them to be comfortable and a good value but this property was, by far, the best. Room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Hotel is conveniently located off the highway and close to many stores and restaurants. Free breakfast was very good and adds value to an already good room price. Will definitely return to this property on future travel through this area.

Stopped for the night on the way to Indianapolis as the hotel was right off the highway. Good price, comfy beds, nice shower. Quiet despite being in a room facing the highway. Typical free breakfast with eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, ... Would stay again if passing through.

Nice hotel in a nice area close to lots of restaurants. We were in a room on the back of the hotel away from the highway which was quiet. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Would definitely stay there if passing through that area.

We stopped for a night on the way back to Kansas City. Checkin was smooth and he saved me more by enrolling me in the BW rewards program. The rooms were very nice, bed compfy, towels fluffy and big and the breakfast good with many choices. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. Great job Best Western!!

This hotel was recommended to me by the factory I was going to visit. The price was right....Great value. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was extra friendly and accommodating. I had requested an early check-in and they were happy to help. Great breakfast as well.

This was formerly a Hampton Inn that had become dated and worn...not up to the level of most Hamptons. The hotel has been updated by BW though the decor is still a bit dated and reflects years of use. In particular, the corridors show worn and dated carpets and wall finishes. The room fixtures appear to be mostly original as do the wall finishes...the ceilings are the old "popcorn" finishes...harkening back to the 60's? The bedding is excellent however! One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in!

We spent 1 night here on our way to KY. Ver nice place, pretty decor. Very clean and friendly staff. Bed was comfortable but don't care for pillows, I like a flatter pillow. Breakfast was typical but good. Would stay here again.

This was my second time staying here and I would choose it again. For some reason hotels at this exit are crazy expensive (considering it's the middle of nowhere, but maybe that's why) yet this hotel is reasonable and adequate. *Pro tip- sign up for their rewards program and book online for the best rates! The staff at this location (especially Brittney!) go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. You can tell that they like their jobs and take pride in their work, which says a lot about the management, as well. The complimentary breakfast is ok, not great. But it's certainly enough to hold you over until you get back on the road.

When I checked in on Tuesday, the lady that checked us in was very friendly and fast The room was very nice, as well as the breakfast in the morning. In the morning during checkout, Chris the manager, was very rude and seemed like he did not want to be there. I feel like that needs to change because it is bad when the manager is rude. I stay at a lot of different hotels, and he was one of the worst managers I have seen. The lady the checked us in seemed better management material in my opinion. Everything was great except for the rude manager.

My wife and I spent the night at this Best Western hotel. Our room was clean, had a mini fridge and microwave, and the bathroom had some nice features. One was that the shower both worked well and had instructions on the wall for its use. I'm not sure we've encountered such instructions before, but they were most appreciated. For an American chain hotel, the breakfast spread was excellent, and my wife got carried away taking photos of it. I had some canned cut fruit, a biscuit, and raisin bran cereal with a variety of toppings. The room was quite reasonably priced, and we slept well.

Our one night stay was very pleasant from the efficient friendly check in at a very reasonable price to checkout with smiling front desk staff. Dog was with us and its nice to have a hotel which accepts a member of our family. Room was clean and beds were super comfortable. Frig and micro in room. Nice indoor pool. Person at front desk called our room to make sure all was well with us. Complementary breakfast. Coffee could be better but nice selection and set up. Yogurt walnuts fresh fruit plus several hot items. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Close to highway but no noise inside! Close to restaurants too.

It was a very nice hotel. We were with friends and sat around in the very nice lobby. I would recommend this hotel. We also had a nice breakfast here and the rooms were very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Very clean and the bed was very comfortable, fridge with freezer, nice shower. Close to freeway but quiet. Nice area to walk the dog. Steakhouse next door and other restaurants in town. Gas stations nearby.

The room was clean and newly renovated. The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. We met up with friends in Effingham as it was the halfway point between Milwaukee and Memphis. We just wanted to visit. We spend a lot of time in the hotel and were very comfortable. The pool is especially nice surrounded on two walls by two stories of windows. We most likely will stay here again. My only wish is that they would install exhaust fans in the bathroom.

We had a great stay--building is newer, rooms were clean, beds were comfy, lots of towels, microwave. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a nice assortment of snacks/food/drinks to buy (even microwave dishes). Breakfast was good. The large indoor pool was great for our grandchildren. The pool area was very clean. I was surprised by the supply of nice pool towels for the swimmers. We would stay at this Best Western Delta Inn again.

This best western was very close to the highway but I didn't notice the noise from the room. Front desk was quick with check in, friendly and helpful. Room smelled normal and was clean. Sheets were bright white, fresh and clean. Overall great stay. Parking was safe and you could see the vehicles from the room.

We stayed at three different Best Westerns on our recent family vacation, and this was the nicest of them all. The beds were extraordinarily comfortably, the room was lovely, and althought we didn't have a chance to use it, the pool looked beautiful and inviting.

There are many available motels in Effingham from which to choose as two major interstate highways cross, and we have stayed at many of them on our yearly trip north. This Best Western is one of the top choices. It is located in a shady quiet spot next to the interestate and nicely landscaped. The front desk staff was very friendly...check in easy. We had a wonderful room..the bed anid linen were great. The breakfast included a variety of selections, fresh fruit, and was well stocked. There is a variety of restaurants close by for dinner. There is a lovely indoor pool which we did not use, but several people were swimming and said the water was delightful. Indoors and outdoors the property was very clean. We highly recommend the Delta Inn for consideration.

Love the bed.we always stay at Hamptons, but this was every boy as comfortable, maybe even more so.....I'm super sensitive to how the sheets, mattress and pillows feel and I loved this bed! The room was clean and the breakfast and coffee were delicious. Best eggs. I will be trying out Best Westerns again after this stay!

This hotel is easy to get to right off highway. Room was clean, the bed comfy. All the amenities you might want. Nice indoor pool. BBQ grill off the pool area on patio. The staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Great value, if you are a rewards member it's an even better value! Next time we are in Effingham this is where we will stay!

We arrived at about 10pm and just wanted a hot shower and a clean, comfortable place to get a good nights rest. This place did not disappoint! Very clean hotel! Pool was nice and refreshing! Night staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was the usual hotel fare, but the poor attendant was obviously overwhelmed by the demand. There was plenty of room to sit and eat, but we chose to take it up to our room. We were delighted to find trays in the dining area for this purpose! So many places have done away with this and it was a welcome sight! Definitely recommend!

We were just passing though and picked Effingham for a quick stop over. This was a good hotel with a decent rate. I would stop in again if passing this way. I would recommend it as it was clean and we were able to get a lower floor room. They were having trouble with one of the side doors and it was “out of order” but the desk clerk told us upfront where to park and which door to use to make it easier to get our stuff inside. They have great staff in helping out weary travelers.

After reading other reviews before booking this hotel, I was disappointed by the humid room, inattentive staff during check-in and check-out. The rate was good but sleeping was not an option with the humidity in the room and our possessions were damp including the clothes I put on to wear. The 3 rating is because the lady in the breakfast area was attentive and the breakfast was good. Hopefully, the problems with the a.c. will be repaired before it really gets hot!

This was a great stay. The hotel is clean & fresh. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had some unique options. Staff were professional and friendly. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

Gracious staff, comfortable bed, up-to-date A/C unit and full breakfast in the morning made this particular Best Western an enjoyable experience. The check-in/check-out processes were enjoyable and efficient. Having BW gold status is a nice perk. I would recommend BW Delta Inn to others.

The Best Western Delta Inn in Effingham was a pleasant surprise on our return home. The property is easily accessed from I 70 and most of all in a quite location. The rooms look to be recently updated and are comfortable. Would stop again if in the area. Another winner from Best Western .

The Delta Inn replaces a previous BW property that was getting a bit long in the tooth; this one has been extensively remodeled very recently, and is squeaky clean. Interior corridors for security and weather protection, an indoor pool and a nice lobby/breakfast area. Many restaurants nearby--but as of this writing (30 April 2018) the steak house next door was closed for remodeling. It was a little pricey for a BW, but nice. Finding it is a little tricky--it's visible from the Interstate, but you must look for and follow the signs to the road that leads to the motel--it's not intuitive.

liked the idea of the grab and go bags. Great idea. Location was very good. Breakfast was very good. beds were to high for elderly and actually dangerous for them. 2 elderly people with me ended up having to stand on cooler and chair to get in bed. Getting out they almost fell off the bed. WAY to high.

We've been trying Best Westerns on this cross continent road trip and this one in Effingham was a nice surprise....more like a Hampton Inn. As usual easy access and this Best Western is better maintained and overall quite nice. Then my wife got sick last evening after a superb supper at Gabby Goat downtown (not related to gabby Goat we're sire!) and at 4:00 this morning the lady out front was super-helpful. Excellent support. And hot coffee much like my favorite MacDonalds. All in all a top notch experience.

Property was very clean, the room was very nice and the breakfast the next morning was hit and filling. I had no major , nor minor, complaints about my stay.. The property could, however, use some better signage as I found it very difficult to locate it from the highway exit that I took.

As I drove by, I decided to check out the hotel rates and pool. It turned out it was just what I was looking for! A warm clean, pool. A hot breakfast. the room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained.Clean and inviting place. I will be back!

This was just a overnight stop on our way to Branson. We book the room because we use to like BE a lot and notice their updated new look. So when we arrived the staff was very friendly and everything was new and clean looking. When we entered the room we couldn't believe how thick the beds were, then I jumped on the bed with a flying leap and it was like I landed on a cloud. I slept great! Woke up refreshed. Went down to breakfast and the had hot food. Oatmeal, scramble eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage links, yogurt, fresh fruit and coffee and tea. This was one of our best overnight stops in a long time.

Great overnight stop on a road trip. The entire place was CLEAN, which is something that has been lacking in a lot of BWs lately. Friendly staff! Room was comfortable. Great breakfast variety. Good job BW.

This locations was clean, updated, friendly, provided a decent breakfast, and was easy to find near the interstate. Overall it was a good value. The desk attendant helped us pick a good place to eat dinner.

Great price, clean lobby, quick check in & fantastic room. We were traveling through and booked last minute based on previous reviews. It was great, very comfortable bed, pillows and bedding. Our door to get in the room was “jammed” took multiple tries but it wasn't impossible or worth a complaint. Breakfast like many other reviewers stated was mediocre, but really with free breakfast and just needing to get back on the road what more do u need. Definitely good find and worth the price. Another plus is it's located near the highway, many restaurant options and other conveniences.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness and maintenance at this hotel; we had an odd numbered room (freeway side) and it was a bit noisy till the traffic dropped off. We streamed white noise on the tablet and rested through it all. Night clerk was all business, would have been an attractive young man if he could have smiled; morning folks were a bit friendlier. Breakfast was standard hotel fare with some sausage.

We stayed here overnight during a trip through Illinois and were surprised at the great service and nice amenities. This hotel is across the interstate from 'hotel row' which was mostly sold out the night we needed. This was recommended to us by another hotel that was full, and we were glad. The price was very reasonable (ask to be a member of the Best Western club and you get 15% off......AAA is 10% off). The breakfast wasn't outstanding but what you'd expect from a hotel breakfast.

Thanks Best Western for having non pet rooms available. As advertised ... they have premium beds !! We had a great night sleep free of pet dander and appreciate your approach on having those available for those of us with allergies. We haven't booked a BW in years but will begin to put you on the top of our list. Thank you for the nicely cleaned room and front desk service.

Best Western staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms have been recently remodeled. Easy access on and off the Interstate and close to a number of restaurants. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Delta Inn.

We were in our room for about 15 minutes when Blake called to see if everything was OK. Thanks and keep up there great work... Room was also nice and maids left a note saying they wanted to help if we needed something.

We had a group of 21 people heading to Texas from Michigan. I arranged 7 rooms for us to stay in. We arrived after midnight and they had us all checked into our rooms within minutes. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was fine. You can hear the nearby interstate, but it wasn't terrible.

Very nice hotel good service at check and out clean rooms and good breakfast staff was very friendly and checked on us to make sure that we were satisfied with our room and was there anything that they could do to make our stay more enjoyable

Property is very easy to access from the free-way. We arrived around 10pm, found the hotel w/no issues. Speedy check-in w/reservation. Common areas were very clean, staff was friendly. Very pleased w/the rooms as they were spotless. Would stay again.

This place had the most comfortable beds pretty much in any hotel we stayed at. Staff was friendly and our room was clean. Diffidently will stay here again for traveling either with hubs or as a family. Breakfast was fantastic too!

This is one of the best places I've stayed at. The General Manager, Cheryl was so nice and accommodating upon arrival. The hotel is very clean, the decor was very welcoming. My room had everything I needed...After a long day of travel, the shower was awesome,having a microwave and refrigerator, coffee maker, was Awesome. We stayed 2 nights...so glad we did. The breakfast selections were some of the BEST!! I appreciated the healthier choices available. Did not use the pool,but it looked so inviting! No need to search ....this hotel is where I'm staying!!! A++++

I stayed here on the way to MI and I will definitely return great staff nice, clean room and safe area The guy "GRANT" on nights was great, he answered so many ? that I had and he was very nice to talk with and the lady that checked me out was very nice.

I stayed here alone on February 7. The front desk clerk was very good. He said he is new there, but you wouldn't know it. Pleasant and competent. I think his name is Grant. My room, 136, was very clean and quiet. The heater noise was much less than most wall units. I didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. I am gluten-free and the breakfast was not conducive to my diet. It might be okay if you are not gf. Decent size TV, though I only watched the tail end of an NBA game. Don't let the "3" scare you away. It's a decent hotel at a fair price. Do avoid the Lone Star restaurant next door. It is awful.

If you are looking for an almost new motel with deluxe accommodations, full amenities including an indoor pool, you probably need look no further than here. To begin with, the location is just off I-57/I-70 which makes it very convenient for travelers passing through such as us. More importantly, this is simply a deluxe property all the way around. Everything about it is first class. Our room had all the amenities you'd want including a flat screen HD TV which worked great and the furnishings were simply very, very nice. You sort of get what you pay for here as $100 in October of 2017 is more than a lot of motels, but this is a deluxe property with every amenity including an indoor pool and everything was in first class condition, nearly brand new it appeared. Only suggestion is get a room away from the highway as otherwise traffic and truck noise might intrude. In our room, #127, noise was not an issue at all but it was further away from the interstate than a lot of other rooms.

We did not use the pool, but a nice two story room with lots of windows. A former Hampton Inn that has been refurbished. Very nice lobby and gas fire made it comfortable place to rest. Quiet room with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean but dated. Great stay for the price. We will come back.

I relied on TripAdvisor for this hotel and was not disappointed. It was clean and comfortable - my two main criteria. I also enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fact that there were some healthful choices.

Very clean and pet friendly! The king sized bed and pillows were so comfortable too. Lots of room to let out our dog outside, which is important. Breakfast area was quite busy and ran out of items though.

We stayed here while on a cross-country road trip with our kids. Service was friendly, rooms were clean and modern, and the breakfast was very good. Lobby was excellent. The pool looked great - regretted not bringing our bathing suits! I would definitely stay here again!

Just so impressed with this hotel. After a long day driving in bad weather, we opened our door and relaxed into a warm, clean and fresh room. It made all the difference and we slept wonderfully. I would recommend this to anyone passing through that needs some quiet and good sleep!

The is a TOP NOTCH hotel! Modern, and very clean. The beds were super comfy and the entire hotel is very up to date. We were impressed with the staff too. The hot breakfast was delightful - and the decor of the hotel was also an indication of quality.

I went in to wrap a Christmas gift in packing tape. Rob and Brian were really helpful. The fruit water kept in the lobby was amazing. Rob and Brian really made the stay. They were so welcoming and helpful.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet, and had a good breakfast. However, they chose not to honor their posted price, but rather charge 20% more. When confronted, desk clerk stated that it's just policy, but chose not to honor the price. I do not support liars and will not return to this property.

Rooms are nice but overpriced. Could have found the same room down the road for the same price. I was traveling all day,and I was just too tired to do that. Female at the front desk had no personality. She definitely should not have a position in customer service...not her cup of tea it seems.

We stopped here late in the evening on our way to Thanksgiving at our Daughter's. The staff was very pleasant and helpful during our check-in. Our room was clean and comfortable. Unlike some other hotels we have stayed with our dog the room was not a stripped down version. I would definitely recommend this hotel especially if you have a dog.

I booked online after reading some reviews and found this BW to be fairly priced and in a convenient location. There is a restaurant next door and they have snacks available. The pool was clean and a pleasant temperature. My room had the Jacuzzi tub, which was great other than it was also the shower and climbing in and out was a little tricky, also the faucet was on the back wall and hard to reach. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff was average. There was a wide variety of items available although I found myself waiting for items to be refilled. I would recommend this Best Western and will visit again.

We stopped on the way home from Texas and was very satisfied with our stay. Newly remodeled and VERY clean. Comfortable beds and overall great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone passing through the Effingham, IL area.

Overall the hotel is a very good value for the price. It is right off the interstate but there is very little highway noise. The room was a nice size and the beds were very comfortable However, take your own hair dryer because the one provided has a cord that may not even be a foot long and it's nearly impossible to dry the back of your head.

This is our second stop at Best Western this trip. Both hotels were great !!!!!! Locations were both excellent. Like the idea of dining on site or within walking distance. Plan on staying at Bestwestern at least one more night before we arrive at our winter destination.

Stopped here on a whim as it was half way to our final destination. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice hotel. It's convenient and clean. Comfy bed and large inviting rooms. We slept great and enjoyed the free breakfast offered. The lobby area was very pretty.

Found this friendly, comfortable BW last year, and again this year by choice, best hotel bed....better than the overpriced hotels... Great staff, nice, normal people....very friendly, and appear to really enjoy hospitality, and their career with BW

The motel is very close to a whole street(few blocks N)of name brand shops and eating places. The check-in staff was very helpful as one of my Rewards Card had expired and worked with me for another set of Reward Points. A steakhouse s right next door to the motel.

Just a quick over night stay as I was headed back to Ohio from Oklahoma. Everything was nice from check in to check out. Breakfast was good and full, nothing was low, they had a gal checking constantly

Had an overnight stay here. Easy access from highway. Place looks new and staff was great. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Great room for the rate. The indoor pool and workout room are next to each other near the center of hotel.

What a gem we found a year ago, we always make it a point to staying here on our way to and from destination.. great steakhouse just steps away.. Lonestar Steakhouse our go to restaurant and bar.. when tired of travelling... this fits the bill

really appreciate the cleanliness in the hotels. Breakfast is really good. In some hotels, eggs are prepared as you like them. One nice thing is the fruit salad. also, the staff is kind and make you feel good.

Indoor pool looked great along with fitness room. Room was nice, tv was good as well as internet reception. Bed was nice but the "comforter" was not as user friendly as a regular blanket. Parking was mostly around the perimeter of the building but there were plenty of convenient doors operated by your key card.

I am so pleased with all the employees they are nice, I wished I lived closer to stay for a few more nights. I think all the Best Western Hotel owners should follow the Awesome staff at this Hotel. Breakfast was Awesome too!

This is a new hotel so everything was in good shape/condition. We had a king room on the lower level. They were able to accommodate us on our request to be not on the interstate side. Even numbered rooms are the ones away from the interstate. Check in was fast and efficient. We would stay again if we were in the area.

We arrived early but the front clerk was very accommodating. We got on the first floor close to the pool. Hotel was very quiet did not hear highway noise nor the two bus loads of people staying here. Breakfast room was a little cramped because of the tour group. The front clerk also had a great suggestion for lunch. She sent us to a Steak house but right next door was a Chinese Buffet where we went .We really enjoyed it. The buffet's price $6.95 included drink and dessert. Perfect for a couple of senior citizens.

Great hotel if you don't get overcharged for events going on! Paid $139 while others were charged $109.00. Was told it was the policy of the staff, could not do anything about it. Seems like good customers are overcharged, while other don't get overcharged.

The rooms were large with a good sized bathroom. It was clean. The A/C did not seem to work correctly. Table for the laptop. Nice sized TV. The beds were very high and not all that easy to work with. Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, breads, etc. and fresh fruit that you don't see too often. Nice eating area. We would return.

We stay with these folks every year and they are always friendly, helpful, and quick to address any issues. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast good. Pet friendly amenities insure our dogs enjoy the stay as well!

After staying at another Best Western we thought we would give this one a try. Although it has been refurbished, it still showed some signs of wear. The coffee maker in the room had calcium deposits and did not look to appealing but other than that it was a clean room. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like a dream. Motel was very quiet and the pool area was clean and well maintained.

Our stay at this hotel was great. The staff was very helpful and the cleaning staff went out of their way to fit our room cleaning into our schedule because we were working nights and sleeping during the day. The manager was very helpful with getting a business rate set up for us. The only slight complaint we had was the breakfast. There wasn't a good variety of cereal or muffins and the toaster and microwave couldn't be used at the same time. But overall we would stay there again. Everything, including the pool and fitness area were very clean and well maintained.

Hotel was nice, staff was great and breakfast good, only thing was pool and hot tub not operational and did not disclose when reserving although these amenities were down for weeks before booking, had no choice but to stay but no comp offered but all said next time through Effingham we will stay there.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past and alsoi other properties owned and opperated by these owners over the last 30 years and this is one of their Best.The Delta Inn is a good example of the owners and Best Western care and convenience offered to the travlers today.

I visited this on my way from Toronto to Texas. I was driving all day and wanted a nice place to sleep. It was quite, rooms were clean, & beds were comfortable. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the desk in the room is falling apart & they should have replaced it. Hope they do it before someone gets hurt. Will stay here again if I am on that side.

Our recent stay at the BW Delta Inn in Effingham, IL was short but sweet! We were greeted by an extremely courteous employee at check-in, appreciated a nice, clean room, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. All of the employees we encountered during our stay were friendly and pleasant. They were quite personable and very professional!

Completely refurbished hotel, pristinely clean, everyone pleasant, small but crystal clear indoor swimming pool. tasteful room decor, good place from which to visit Boos butcherblock outlet store. Breakfast lacking fresh fruit--but all else was top notch quality food.

I came in late for a quick rest and back out on the road. Blake at the front desk was very understanding and made sure I had a breakfast to go bag waiting for me. The hotel is in excellent condition, and is a place you'd be happy to check in to and enjoy

There are cheaper hotels out there, but you REALLY get what you pay for in most of those instances. We really enjoyed our stay here. Being upgraded added to our enjoyment and made us glad that we have become members The breakfast had many options and the room was large and able to easily handle their guests. Our upgrade was for a king bed and a Jacuzzi tub. after a long day of travelling it was nice to be able to relax there.

Good hotel conveniently located. Steak house next door with 10% discount if you are resident at the hotel. Good wifi, clean comfortable room with good wifi. Quiet in the room despite nearby highways. Good breakfast too.

Pet friendly and great king size bed. Quite, very good wi-fi and very good breakfast buffet. Has a swimming pool, however, we did not have a chance to use it. Very friendly staff and smiling service. No highway noise. Lots of great restaurants very close to the hotel.

Quick check in with great friendly service. The room was well appointed, clean and completely up to date. The indoor pool was nice but I did not swim. The fitness center was adequate with all needed equipment. The breakfast area was nice, well stocked and clean. No problems at all. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. There is a very nice Longhorn Restaurant across the parking lot which made it easy to walk over for dinner after a long day of driving. Plus, they give a discount to guests of BW! Very convenient side entrances made luggage transfer very simple. We plan tos tay here again on our next trip across the West!

standard BW, good room, good rate and clean. Just passing through the area on a trip around the country. Standard Breakfast fare, everything in working order, and the price was reasonable. Important that they take pets even if you have to pay extra for them.

Very clean room. Beds were a bit high. Ok for me, but I'm 5'7". If I'd been shorter it would've been a struggle getting in bed. Once I was in bed, it was lights out! I couldn't have slept more sound. The breakfast bar is the best I've encountered, lots of sections.

Clean, spacious quiet room and a comfortable bed for our one night stay. Decent breakfast in the morning. We didn't use the pool or other amenities so can't comment on those. Pretty much all we could ask for during our very short stay here.

We loved our stay here. The workers are kind and quick. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was quiet. We did see a couple of stains on the carpet but otherwise the room was spotless. The breakfast area was laid out well, and the area was very clean and well stocked. Great stay!

This was by far the nicest of 4 BW hotels that we stayed at during our trip. My wife and I loved the location, the freshness, the colors of the re-branding etc. Only one downside was the height of the bed and the pillows. The best part though was the coffee. It was great! made breakfast more enjoyable. Did not have to go elsewhere for coffee after breakfast. Complimented the attendant on this fact. The front desk person was very thorough in explaining the various process, pool time, breakfast etc. He acknowledged my status and wanted to provide an upgrade but were unfortunately sold out. He as very helpful with his awareness of nearby restaurants and their closing times.

This place is an excellent stop for a one-nighter on the way to your next destination. Its very clean. Quite. The pool is clean and indoors. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. It was quite comfortable. I will definitely return here again.

I stayed here when it was the delta inn, loved it, was so incredibly priced right! Exact same experience, but the price has doubled since it became best western...truly, it went from 60? to 110.00 per night, was shocked to say the least

Of all the Best Westerns I have stayed in this one was below the norm for their usual quality and service. I guess there can always be one bad apple in the barrel. My advice is stay in the BW in Terra Haute.

We stopped for the night while traveling back home. Check in was easy, staff super friendly. Lobby was clean. We had a king room with Jacuzzi tub! It was fantastic ! Rookm was clean, bed super comfy and roomy with desk and couch. Quiet too. We slept really well. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausages, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal with various toppings, breads, muffins etc. Juice, fresh fruit, waffles, yogurt, cold cereal. If you leave hungry, it's on you! Would recommend!

We were very comfortable after spending a long day on the road. The following day was to be a long one again, but with a good nights sleep and a nice breakfast we were ready. The hotel has convenient access to the highway yet is far enough away to not be bothered by the noise of an interstate highway.

A pleasant place to stay after a long day driving. Caring staff. This is a newer hotel with a modern relaxing lobby and breakfast area.

We stay at Best Western hotels exclusively and this is by fare one of the nicest. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. I would highly recommend Best Western Delta Inn when staying in Effingham.

Nice clean room. Looks like a newer hotel. Room is a nice size not too small. Must be a trend as all the hotels we stayed at this year have tall beds. I'm 5'11" and it came up to my hip. Smaller people would surely have to climb up. Free breakfast was the usual fare.

Stayed overnight while traveling through on a long journey. Great beds, clean room and decent breakfast. Great rate. Front desk staff very friendly. Located just off I 70. Lots of restaurants in the area.

For the price this was a great deal. It's tucked out of the way but easily within reach of the interstate. For such an unassuming little property it was very nice with great amenities and a super friendly and attentive staff. The room had everything I needed including an awesome bed just across from one of the most inviting looking indoor swimming pools I've seen in a while. My main reason for the choice was because they were pet friendly. So I guess I owe my travelling buddy thanks for leading me to one of the best hotel deals I enjoyed on a very long and tiring trip.

Stayed here just one night and was pleasantly surprised! Check-in was quick and professional. Room was Very clean! Looked new! Bathroom spotless with nice lighting. Hotel was clean throughout. Nice sized pool. Quiet hotel!! parking lot well lit. This is a remodeled hotel done very nicely. Nice sized hd television. Comfy bed. Would definitely stay again. Reasonably priced and right off interstate!

We stay here three to four times per year as both the wife and I are from the area and come back to visit family and clients. The facility was remodeled after being a somewhat mediocre Hampton Inn. Wonderful pool...the best in Effingham. Beds are a bit high off the ground but comfortable. Better than average breakfast when compared with Hampton and Fairfield. We paid $ 89 on Friday compared to $ 147 for Hampton and $ 92 for Fairfield Inn. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will return in the future.

Large well appointed rooms. Fridge and microwave. Clean, very clean actually. Super comfortable bed. Nice modern remodel done daily recently. Pool for the kids if traveling with them. Very good breakfast. Probably the best wifi I have ever used at a hotel. Was a great connection and fast. Staff was professional, courteous and knowledgable. I would definitely stay here again. Larger than normal tv too.

At the beginning of the day, I didn't know where I would be staying for the night, as I was trying to drive across country from California to NYC in only 3 days. The later in the day it got, the more I was sure about what part of the country I would be in to bed for the night. I figured that I'd be in the St. Louis area but I decided to press on another 90 miles or so to lessen the driving distance the following day. I lucked out in finding this Best Western Delta Inn in Effingham, IL just off I-70. The building seemed to be very new, the check-in and check-out were fast and easy and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Most important, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. You couldn't ask for anything more!

Rooms were great. Loved the new beds. Breakfast was ok but could have been better the fruit wasn't very good there weren't any eggs but enjoyed my stay. Would stay here again. Liked the discount for the restaurant next door

This new redone best western is a 10 from the beds, decorations, warm fireplace and breakfast. The bed was extremely luxuris, the internet is fast, the room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. Would stay here again

We stopped in Effingham on our last night of vacation, as we were traveling home. The hotel was easy to access off the highway. Newly renovated, the whole place was clean and decorated nicely. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. This was the nicest room on our trip and it was the least expensive. Breakfast was good. It was a busy morning and they did the best they could to keep things stocked and ready.

This hotel was great from the check inn to the departure. I was greeted great and the people at the front desk were awesome. The room was clean and elegant. The water was hot for a shower and the beds were extra comfortable. For me doesn't get any better. 5 stars A+

We were on the road and decided to call it a day. This Best Western looked good so we stopped. The young lady (sorry we forgot her name) was fun and so very helpful. We had a great room that was quiet and comfortable. The beds were great and we slept great. It has a really nice pool.

We stopped here in Effingham to do some shopping. We chatted with the staff here and gave them an excellant review. Great people and the breakfast was great. Nice way to restart our day. I highly recommend this hotel. Fresh and clean,no dust in oUr room.

I just stayed over night for a wedding. It was a very big evening because that same night was a Luke Bryant concert and the town was going to double in size for the event. I had a few special requests since I was going to be so busy with my friends wedding and they always went above and beyond for me. Over the course of two day I called them twice and dropped by once making sure everything would run smoothly for me. Each and every time they were so nice and friendly. I will use this hotel again.

No matter what this sight says, this used to be the Delta Inn but now it's a Best Western. We figured this out when the address took us right to a Best Western Regardless of this fiasco, the motel was clean and comfortable

So pleasantly surprised. Room had been recently updated. Everything felt fresh, clean, and new. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast, but perfectly adequate. Waffles, bagels, fruit, the usual. Great stop, easy on and off from the highway. Across the street from Aldis if you need groceries.

I wanted to give only a three or even two star rating since the clerk failed to mention the hotel name had changed to Best Western when I called from the road. I was driving around, at night, after about 10 hours trying to find the 'Delta Inn.' I let it go when most of what I was looking for was in this hotel. Nice, clean rooms, pool, gym, and a place to eat and drink that although it wasn't inside, it was 10 feet away at the local steakhouse. The only other complaint, breakfast ending at 9:00 without so much as some fruit. I needed rest, and waking up to try to catch the early breakfast didn't work. Keep breakfast going a tad later and let your customers know you changed the name and all would be perfect.
