Best Western Plus Edmonds Harbor Inn

Room 205 smelled like a locker room. I don't know if there was water damage or the cleaning staff forgot to leave a window open. Perhaps a box of Baking Soda would have minimized the odor. I had to sleep with a sheet covering my face. There was no room we could move to as the hotel was fully occupied. Disappointing.

Superb location and exceptionally helpful Front Desk staff. Great hotel. We had a great stay. Very clean rooms. Great value in the region. Close to Seattle by Light Rail - only $3.

The is property is the best of any Best Western Plus we've visited

The junior suite we had was old, tiny and dingy for $300+. While my cousins had king rooms down the hall that looked updated and spacious - even enough space for 8 people to gather after dinner for a night cap. There is no way we could fit more than 4 people in our tiny living room for any reason - the furniture was crammed in there with barely any walking room, especially with overnight suitcases. Our bedroom - which was supposed to have a Queen, well we could just barely walk around the double bed to the window. All the living room furniture was stained. The sofa was so stained, my husband took a throw and covered it. The HVAC units on the 2 outside walls were loud and blew a hurricane, blowing the curtains - which barely even closed for privacy or blackout purposes. I was so upset I forgot to tip when one lady came up to help with the thermostat (I'm sorry!). She said our section was the newer section but they hadn't replaced the old thermostats with digital ones yet. I think she was confused, our room was way older than the rest of our family's rooms. The temperature was, thankfully, ok. These places should have quiet mini splits. NO BLACKOUT - There were 3 layers of curtains - the inside drapes that did not close at all, the sheer center drapes and the blackout curtain on the window that came within 1" of closing, blown aside by the HVAC. The light on the smoke alarm directly faces the bed pillows and makes the room bright as the moon at night. NO QUIET - We expressly asked for a quiet room when we made reservations months ago. When we called to confirm, we were told 'Edmonds is a very quiet town', but our room was adjacent to the ferry waiting area, which meant multiple lanes of cars accelerating as they left the boat around midnight (11:30 or 12:30AM depending on the day) and the first traffic arriving for departure at 5:30AM. An open window meant very loud traffic noise constantly. BREAKFAST AND STAFF - The only reason I gave it a 3 of 10 is because of the breakfast in the restaurant, which was up to par and clean with plenty of good choices, good tasting, and nothing ran out even when the room was fairly full. The room was acoustically mellow, light, spacious. There were staff to ask questions. The front desk staff were also very cheerful and nice. BLANKETS - Another suggestion - put TWO extra blankets in the dresser and two pillows for the sofa bed, not THREE pillows and one very very thin old blanket. That was basically a large dish towel, and there wasn't a comforter. We didn't open the sofa bed, so maybe the real blanket was in there. There were already extra pillows on the bed in the bedroom - but certainly no room for them. WATER - water got hot in the sinks. There was enough pressure. One sink in the bathroom and one outside of it. The one inside required a lot of muscle to get the faucet to turn on. End result - I would pay more to stay at a 4-5* hotel if there was one. This one does not deserve more than 2*.

As a past resident of the Edmonds area who has stayed at this hotel several times over the years, I was disappointed to find it extremely poorly maintained. I hadn't been back in two years, and the quality has dropped to what I'd rate a 1-star level. There were holes in the walls, stains on the carpets, a lack of bedding, and garbage/spills on the concrete outside our room. The AC sounded like a freight train, and cigarette smoke drifted into our windows from outside, despite WA state law prohibiting smoking. We escalated the issue to management on our first night and never heard back. We checked in again on the second day and still got no response. We ended up leaving early. Downtown Edmonds itself is gorgeous — great walking, beaches, restaurants, shopping, and a wonderful Saturday market. I'd rate the location a solid 5 stars, just not this hotel.

Great place to stay in downtown Edmonds. Came for a meeting and stayed longer for food and shopping.

Bummer. BW Edmonds Harbor Inn has been a delightful place to stay during our monthly trips to Swedish Medical in Seattle over the past year. Many times we brought our dog. We stayed on the 2nd or 3rd floor, which is our strong preference. Checked in today and learned management has new rules. Dogs must stay on first floor. Our Platinum BW Membership used to earn us a 12::00 checkout. We were just advised that anyone with dogs must checkout at 11:30 period. Despite membership level. So, now instead of a friendly, flexible hotel, BW Harbor Inn is just another rigid hotel. There was a personal, friendly vibe, but not now. We didn't always bring our dog. The warm, personal feel is gone.

The Hotel is very ok, good location, clean and safe. The costs are high in my opinion, but still I would rate it with 4Stars. At the End, it's only 2Stars: at check in, End of May, they blocked a deposit fee on my card, now, after 3 weeks, it is still not released. There are no open files, and to blame banks and cards (as it happened when I called) is absolut no-go. it never happened anywhere again during our long holidays! Pity, but we hope this review finally leads to some action to better the situation!

We've stayed here many times over the years. It's quiet and clean. HOWEVER, can we stop putting clean linens on top of the toilet lid?? I don't care how clean you think the toilet is, IT'S GROSS! Nothing should be placed on the toilet. Put it on the edge of the tub instead. Also, when we asked the housekeeper to switch out the top blanket, she put the clean one on top of my dirty suitcase while stripping the old one. ALSO GROSS! The outside of a suitcase is not clean after traveling within cargo holds, being handled by airport workers, and working its way through a conveyor belt system. We were standing right there, I wonder what happens when the customer isn't watching.

We stayed for 4 nights and the hotel provided everything we needed: a clean room, hot showers, laundry. Great housekeeping. Excellent breakfast. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops in Edmonds and also walking distance to Harbor. Good communication prior to checkin and outstanding staff. Complemental coffee and tea in lobby. One vending machine did not work properly and the front desk promptly returned my money. Only criticism is that we were on ground floor and window did not close properly so there is a certain security concern.

A number of us were staying at this spot on a weekend trip to attend a wedding in nearby Shoreline. I am not sure why the prices here seem to be quite a bit higher than other hotels in Washington State, but it may be because of its close proximity to the Harbor and the Ferry to the Peninsula. At any rate, this is a great location and a really nice best Western, and the dining area had plenty to offer for the included breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.

Everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. I got a great recommendation from Zach on a local restaurant. The cleaning service was excellent. I thought the breakfast had many good choices. The location couldn't be better. I would stay there again.

This Best Western Plus Hotel does everything right! We stayed over the Labor Day weekend with our dog, Katie. The front desk staff are friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and pleasantly decorated. The location is very close to the Edmonds Boardwalk, restaurants and shopping. I noticed that the hotel manager, Kyle, was present this time and last time we stayed at the hotel. Obviously, this is a very well managed hotel!

The hotel is clean, and that's most important. However, there are some definite issues here. The hotel is in a business park, which just feels odd, but is fine. The hotel has been mostly remodeled, but is still old in a lot of ways. The bed was very uncomfortable. The thing that made me question if I would stay here again is that the internet was painfully slow. Breakfast was pretty decent here for a Best Western, though the breakfast room was small. Otherwise, it is a very average Best Western hotel, and (if not for the internet) I would stay here again if it weren't for the price. For the location and quality, it was definitely overpriced.

This hotel was pretty nice. Not spectacular, but pretty good. I like that it is located in a business type area, because I think that helps cut down on the noise. It is convenient to a lot of shops and restaurants. It is also very close to the Marine Walkway and the small park nearby. We were able to walk to get some lunch, we walked to watch the boat launch and then walked to dinner. Our room was on the first floor and very near an exit, which was convenient. The person who checked us in was such a gem! They were telling us jokes and stories and had such a great knowledge of the area. Our room was plenty large and the bed was very comfortable. Everything seemed clean and there were plenty of large fluffy pillows. The towels were fluffy and clean. The shower had good pressure and there were shampoo and soap dispensers attached to the shower wall. Our room had a small fridge, which was handy and they had a small selection of personal items that you could purchase near the front desk if you forgot something. I saw that they had a gym, a pool and laundry machines on site; but we did not use them. They also have a breakfast included but we decided to go out for breakfast so I cannot give an opinion on that. We had noisy neighbors upstairs, but that happens everywhere. I felt safe here and I felt like our vehicle was safe as well. I think it was a good value for the location and would stay here again.

Hotel is old and tired. So expensive for what you get. Room smelled like sadness: old cig smoke, dog, mold/mildew. Breakfast terrible. And for all that, it was $350 a night!! Would not recommend.

BW Plus in Edmonds Washington was simple wonderful. From check-in to check-out it was a great experience. Kimberly at check in to check out was very very professional. Housekeeping very quietly cleaned and updated my room. I left a good tip. which I hope travelers would do more often, especially for Breakfast staff.

We stayed at the BW Plus in Edmonds for one night, on March 23. We requested a dog friendly room, as we were traveling with our two German Shepherds. This was our second night in a row at a BW Plus. The previous night we stayed at a BW in Hood River, and it was such a great property I cancelled our reservation at a different brand hotel to book this BW Plus in Edmonds. We were not disappointed and once again, this property surprised us in a good way. Edmonds is a slightly expensive area, but the rate for this hotel was very reasonable. The room was very spacious and clean. Our room was on the first floor on the outside portion of the floor, so walking the dogs was easy. The staff was professional and friendly. We would stay at this hotel again.

My daughter had surgery and this hotel was highly recommended. The ladybwho checked us in offered to move us closer to the elevator. Parking was close and super convenient! Quiet, convenient and super clean. Breakfast was fresh, hot and tasted amazing!

Our check in was great! Megan was fantastic. the room was nice. The shower was great. The trash pick-up at 5 am was AWESOME. We got a good laugh about that... not that we wanted one so early. The bed was a little hard so we were not in a deep sleep anyway. The breakfast room was pretty good. Over all okay but we used points so if we were flopping down cash??? Not so sure. We may end up back there so we'll see.

The hotel had a great staff. The entry area was inviting and the room was very clean. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of foods to choose from. The room was totally equipped with coffee maker etc. We really enjoyed how quite it was. Old fashioned excellence for a good price.

Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was exceptional. Tons of variety of both hot and cold options. Variety of refreshments, as well. Well prepared and flavorful. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Location was convenient and easy to find.

We stay here due to the location close to downtown Edmonds and the waterfront. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Some rooms are in need of updating. Front desk staff did their job but not very welcoming, seemed more wanting to talk to each other. We have stayed many times in the past while visiting family and will stay again but only because of the location.

Fantastic Staff made all the difference. Very accommodating, kind, conscientious. Samantha provided above and beyond service. Laundry room onsite. Great free breakfast with extended service hours. The room was comfortable with air-conditioning, a mini fridge and a window that opened for fresh PNW air. Not sure if all rooms have windows or not. It is walking distance from multiple restaurants as well as the train and cruise terminal a beautiful pier & sunsets!

It was a beautiful Suite ! Very large room and comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were friendly and efficient. It appeared very nice and clean. The food was good.It was easy to get to and near the Ferry from Edmonds to Kingston. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Over all this is a very nice property. The staff was excellent. There was an error in our reservation and we had to change rooms which was very inconvenient. The rooms are standard, breakfast was above average for a chain hotel. The pool and hot tub were clean and a good temperature. We thought it was pricey for what it was.

This is a very well managed hotel. Kyle, the GM, is accessible and helpful. Staff is professional and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated availability of daily housekeeping. The location is great, close to restaurants, parks, museum and a wonderful off leash dog park.

Next time I'll save the extra $100 on cost and stay in Lynnwood. You can't even tell that it's a great location because it's a surrounded by buildings. Sure doesn't feel like you're at the beach. It feels like you're in the middle of the city. It's very claustrophobic. Decor is very dated. They woke me up at 9:30 at night to tell me my car wasn't parked perfectly in between the lines. When I parked, there was someone else blocking so I did the best I could. I had to climb over my passenger seat to get to my driver seat because someone parked so close to my driver side. That was pretty ridiculous. They were being spiteful. They could've just chosen a different parking spot. The pillows are hard, the bed is hard. The furniture in the room is chipped & tacky. It is very quiet. I'll give them that. Staying in Lynnwood you almost always hear the freeway which you don't hear.

The only hotel in Edmonds and they know it. Very clean and staff was polite. Bathroom and AC system were dated, but worked. Breakfast room very small and crowded with the usual fare. Not a great value, but was adequate. No competition so they can charge what they want.

You can't beat this location for Edmonds. I stayed with a group and we all agreed the breakfast is pretty darn good. And that the coffee in both the large carafes and machine was TERRIBLE. Yuck! Slightly flavored hot water. Rooms are hit and miss. Some are updated (those are not dog friendly). Some are not and can be good or a little musty smelling (we had a group of rooms). Our shower had two shampoos in the dispensers and no body soap, which was a little disappointing. Rooms were clean. Some staff were super helpful but as guest after guest mentioned the coffee carafe was empty the staff member just told them to reach up to the one in the back (I was sitting nearby). Nor clear why he didn't get up and move the full one to the front for the elderly guests, or ask the breakfast room person to do it. I'll be back because it's the only place to stay in downtown Edmonds. But I'm bringing my own coffee.

The property is more expensive than some other hotels nearer to the freeway, but the location makes the extra cost worthwhile. Nice property, great breakfast selection, professional staff and daily room cleaning.

We stayed one night, and it was fine. The room and the common areas were all clean as expected. The breakfast was good but not anything special. But for $350 for one night after fees, just for a basic hotel experience is pretty expensive.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and the quality keeps declining as the prices go up. The walls are thin and I heard snoring all night. The breakfast offering is bland now. There was body hair in the bathroom and the light/power outlets near the bed were broken. The staff was quick to move me to another room, but the light/power was still broken in the other room.

It was clean, not fancy. House keeping was kind and quick. Female Management was abrasive to almost rude. It houses many weddings due to a venue less than a mile away. They are riding on coat tails. Edmonds needs a nother hotel, one that understands kindness, customer service and atmosphere.

The hotel is a great location for anyone needing to stay in Edmonds, right down on the harbor with walking paths on both sides of the hotel, one leading along the Edmonds Marsh (great bird-watching) and one right along the beach (check out the imaginative sculptures and watch the ferries come and go). The breakfast service was ample and tasty, with a good selection of both hot and cold offerings. The room was clean and well-appointed, the Wi-Fi easy to access. And the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The only minus is that they, like so many other hotels now, have significantly raised their prices in the past year.

Our recent two day stay at the Best Western in Edmonds was excellent. Spacious room, comfortable bed, great staff and one of the best breakfast bars that we have ever experienced in years of travel. The location is perfect---short walk to town, even shorter walk to Community Transit bus system stop and a short walk to the Amtrak station in Edmonds. We love this place.....

Staff could be friendlier but the place was clean and my room very comfortable for a motel. Bathroom could use a little updating, but again was clean and served its purpose. If outside noise bothers you bring your ear plugs - you can hear the train whistle and some other industrial equipment through the night.

Clean, efficient, 24hr coffee, well located near all things Edmonds. Again, it's clean but could maybe use an updating. Stay often, consistent and super value. Ample parking. Also, Best Western has a generous rewards plan.

Great lodging in an awesome setting. The atmosphere is calm, beautiful and comfortable, with cleanliness and service excellent. Breakfast has many assorted choices including gluten free choices. Right outside the door is the Edmonds marsh offering a nice walk which includes education about the wildlife and plants in the marsh. So much fun to share educational experience with a 7 year old.

We frequently stay at this BW for the convenience of being close to the Edmonds ferry terminal, Edmonds downtown dining, the urban marsh (birdwatching and walking), and easy access to Shoreline and Seattle. No place is inexpensive these days, so we consider the Edmonds Harbor Inn a good value for the price. Also, we can bring our dog along. Housekeeping is good, breakfasts are good with a nice selection of breads, yogurts, eggs, waffles, etc. The coffee isn't too bad either. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Visited over New Years weekend. Hotel was clean and comfortable, if a little dated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic American style, but there were many options and it was plentiful. Parking was okay. Location for us was very good.

Making reservation on ferry while crossing from Kingston is usually not recommended, but it worked for us for a last minute stay. The night shift desk person was friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was hot and fresh.

Clean, affordable, and great customer service. breakfast included and you could make your waffle and burrito. They have a heated pool as well. I love that this place is dog-friendly as we travel with our senior dog.

We stayed here while in Edmonds for a concert. The rooms are fine but the hotel building is sort of run down. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The parking lot is away from the lobby so it is necessary to travel through maze-like hallways on the way to the room. There is a nearby train track which is common in hotels near the water. I did hear the train at night but I slept fine. The location is good for visiting Edmonds. It is a little difficult to find the hotel. One route has you approaching it via the parking lot of other businesses. We went out to brunch so did not try the breakfast.

I needed a nice hotel for a one night stay prior to a cruise out of Seattle. The BW Edmonds Harbor Inn was clean, quiet, well located to the harbor, with fast check in and an above average breakfast. My only gripe was the cost. It was at a cost point of a luxury Resort type hotel but it's located in a business complex.

This is an older hotel, but kept up fairly well. The rooms are nice, beds and pillows are comfy. Sheets and towels are scratchy. There is a pool as well. They allow pets, so that's a bonus.Close to downtown Edmonds, the beach, the marina and the ferry. Lots of nice food options close by (walking distance or very short drive). Nice place to stay, would recommend.

Good enough. nice rooms and a good hot breakfast. Free parking. A beach for taking a walk on a beautiful day. Lots of road noise surprisingly. Great location for staying the night if taking an early morning Edmonds ferry.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel while visiting our son nearby. The included breakfast was very nice and had everything you might want to eat.Best included breakfast bar I have ever seen with good hours for early risers. It is dog friendly but has a separate floor for those of us allergic to animals. The pool is nice too. The breakfast bar has a great espresso machine making Latte type coffee. I will definitely stay here again next time.

I frequently like to go whale watching out of Edmonds and I always stay here. Most recent was early August 2023. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Especially when I thought I had lost my wallet! I don't do much else in Edmonds but it is close to the marina (basically walking distance) and near the ferry. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. And the big thing for me is the AC works great!

From the moment we walked in until we checked out our stay was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were treated like family. We walked to the Ferry and beaches. We watched the sunset several nights. The shops in Edmonds were very relaxing.

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago, so we knew it was a nice location when selecting it again. There are some nice restaurants across the street, and we got a lovely sunset from the beach while walking home. Even though we were visiting "Seattle", it was fairly easy to get in and out of town. There are two Level 2 EV charging stations, which is a definite plus for those of us with EV's.

The AC was not good. The front face of the unit was falling off and it did not keep the room cool. It was muggy and felt gross. The beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable. The overall look and feel of the hotel was extremely outdated. We paid $280/night for this hotel and I'm convinced we only paid for location. In any other location, a room like this would go for $120/night tops.

Room was clean, but had a slight musty smell. Staff not the best kinda seemed like were bothering them as they went through the check in process. Showers are short with soap dispensers making it difficult to was hair. Bed was comfortable.

Nice enough place. Good location. Dinner with 2 acquaintances nearby; no itching whatsoever. Bed at 10:00, woke up at 1:00AM with severe itching, photographed the bites (see below), showed the desk clerk, checked out at 2:30AM. GM said not "bedbugs." Room was "inspected." Name of inspector unavailable, "proprietary information." No reduction at checkout.

Had two rooms in a block for a family wedding. Staff was incredible, rooms very clean, and pool/hot tub didn't disappoint! Kids enjoyed breakfast and I enjoyed the latte machine! Staff went above and beyond.

Our family of 5 got two double Queen rooms and had a wonderful experience. Beds were very comfortable, clean rooms and a nice full breakfast each morning that is served from 6:30-10:30am. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially want to recognize Joseph who was on the overnight front desk several nights we were there. He went above and beyond to help guests, was very professional and clearly a hard worker. Highly recommend this hotel and the Edmonds area as a good base to explore Seattle and San Juan Islands (we took ferry from Anacortes and spent the day in Friday Harbor.

This hotel is the only game in town if you want to stay walking distance from the pier and downtown Edmonds. We were slightly disappointed that it was not on the water since based on the photos we thought it was. Regardless the hotel is in an excellent location walking distance from everything there is in Edmonds. My room, 351, was clean with a king size bed and a separate living room with a pull out couch. The bathroom was large with a huge vanity and lots of storage. The breakfast was actually nicer then the average Best Western and had a good variety and good quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was a really nice hotel and perfect for my stay in Edmonds. I could walk to downtown and didn't need to use my car at all. The internet was fast and the breakfast was excellent. There were a lot of choices for breakfast so I could save money on food when I was out during the day. The beds were actually very comfortable too and the staff was helpful.

My four star review is for the location and general conveniences in the hotel. Our room was not 4 star. This hotel is close to waterfront, close to the Main Street and shopping and has good parking. The lobby is a little hard to find because the building is oriented away from the water on a side street. The staff were nice and the breakfast was fine. Typical complimentary breakfast fare, with eggs, potatoes, a breakfast meat, biscuits and gravy and pastries. One thing other people really liked was the espresso machine next to the coffee in the lobby, although I didn't try it. We received housekeeping service after our first night, which was nice. I haven't had a hotel do that unless requested since COVID. The shampoo and conditioner and body wash are in dispensers in the shower (I like that--no tiny bottles). There was a hair dryer. There is a pool, but I didn't use it. The beds were very comfortable and our 2-queen-bed room was tidy. But our room could have used a little TLC. The negatives were that we discovered our first morning that the coffee maker (a single serve design) was jammed, so we couldn't have coffee in the room the first morning. It was either replaced or fixed after we brought it to management's attention (the person at the front desk said, "I know what's wrong, I can fix it!"). But the lowest point was that our room (226) smelled of mildew or mold. It was not overwhelming, and we only noticed it when entering the room from elsewhere--every time. The smell was not in the hallway. And we did visit friends in another room, and they did not have the same problem. To be fair, the hotel management did not have the opportunity to address the problem. We did not ask for another room because we knew the hotel was full, and we were busy, but it was a little unpleasant. So, I would book here again because it's the only hotel near downtown, and I am generally happy with my stays in Best Westerns, but I would want to check in early so I could request another room if I got one like this one. And I would check the coffee machine to be sure it was in good working order!

The convenience of being close to the ferry terminal as well as many dining venues make this a good stop. I have done a lot of living in hotels for business and travel and I do have a few quirks that I look for. This met most. The beds seem to be trying to see how high they can be made..as an older traveler. It can be a challenge to climb UP into bed. Not a big fan of these high beds...that aside, the bed was comfortable. The big thing for me was the air conditioning unit was next to Inoperative. NO COLD air to be found. The staff was helpful and courteous. Overall a thumbs up.

Way too expensive for this tired looking hotel. Had to wait for check in until receptionist got off of the phone. Room was satisfactory. Vending machine no working. Breakfast area was packed and they had to get more table and chairs out for seating and we ate out in the front lobby.

You couldn't choose a better place to stay near the water. Outstanding restaurants within walking distance and close to the Edmonds/Kingston ferry to WA peninsula. You can make a vacation here without a rental car. Just find a SEATAC hotel shuttle. It's an awesome place.

If you want to enjoy the beauty and charm of the town of Edmonds Washington, this is the place to stay. In a rush, enjoy a comfortable stay and start your day rested with a free filling hot breakfast offering an abundant selection of entrees. Then you will have easy access to Ferry, Train and major interstate highways. Enjoy, we did and I'm you will too.

This hotel is in a wonderful location. The car ferry system is just a few blocks away. Sound transit is near by and sometimes runs. Though I felt I was herding my family like a herd of cats, the staff were very helpful.

Super impressed by one staff member holding down the fort during the recent ice storm. Mike totally took care of the guests while also tending the front desk and the breakfast. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas and this added some cheer given the extreme weather outisde.

A quick trip to visit family and we chose this location close to the Edmonds/Kingston ferry... a very good location! The staff here are courteous and helpful . Our room was a bit tight but it was only one night....without two kids and Christmas shopping, it would have been fine for two adults. There were enough pillows and blankets'. The heat was easily controlled and the beds were comfortable. This is a good choice for family, busines or pleasure !

Comfortable room & bed, clean and well kept hotel. Very festive with the holidays coming. Breakfast room was well stocked and clean. Staff helpful and nice. I have bad allergies that affect my asthma. I asked the front desk if they had hypoallergenic pillows. They offered to get me clean encasements which helped a lot! Only negative is very thin walls. Could even hear neighbor yawning.

Best Western Plus is Very nice hotel in every way.; easy parking, friendly & informative check in. Very nice room, with plenty of coffee & sundries; lovely bed linins on a very comfortable bed. I wish they had a small bar for a cozy cocktail.

This is a great location. Easy to get on the ferry, get on I5 and to downtown. I'm taking a star away for the housekeeping. I admit I'm a little anal about housekeeping since COVID but there was hair in our tub and the room was very dusty. There is a great little pub right behind them that you can walk to (don't let the reviews sway you- it's very good!). Breakfast is standard fair. But well stocked is constantly monitored for replenishing. The employees we encountered were all friendly and smiling.

This "Plus" version of a Best Western property easily outshone a "Premier" version we'd stayed at recently! The pet-friendly room (245) is well designed so that a business person who has to stay a week can easily manage. There are ample shelves and drawers, and several more horizontal surfaces (for luggage and belongings) than you usually find at this lodging level. They provide a real window that can be opened enough to air out the room. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the morning breakfast attendant. They welcomed the dog with a treat and a toy that she continues to play with! Our upstairs neighbors were especially energetic, so next time we'll ask for a top floor room.

Everyone from the GM, desk clerk, and housekeeping (and all the behind the scenes people) were super efficient, helpful and very kind. The hotel was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. The location was good for us because we arrived on the Amtrak Empire Builder and the hotel is an easy walk across a couple of parking lots. It's in a lovely area. The Edmonds Marsh is an interesting area within easy walking distance and was a nice place to walk and visit. Even though the railroad tracks and Amtrak station are close by, we could not hear any train noise in our room. The complimentary breakfast was excellent! We highly recommend the Best Western Plus Edmonds Harbor Inn. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

The cost of this hotel room was exorbitant for the value-room had previous guest items left on the floor, cheap amenities (soaps, etc), paper cups instead of glasses, coffee at breakfast awful, other breakfast choices mediocre.

The Best Western Plus Edmonds Harbor Inn was one of the best hotels I've stayed in and certainly THE BEST in the Seattle area! EVERYONE who worked there went out of their way to be kind and helpful. I was very impressed by Matthew Rosenthal, the manager, who runs a first-rate hotel and set a fabulous example for the staff. Everyone was pleasant, helpful, and efficient.

The Best Western Harbor Inn has consistently been our choice when staying in Edmonds. The rooms are spacious and clean. The continental breakfast is really a full breakfast with varied selections. The staff have always been helful.

Exceptionally clean and quiet. Great location with easy access to local restaurants, parks, waterfront with exceptional view of Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains. Travel made easy with local access to a AmTrack Train station and equally easy access to the Washington State Ferry system.

A lovely hotel in the quaint city of Edmonds, WA, It's near shopping, waterfront restaurants, Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was b friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast offers many self-serve options and the fool was always fresh.

Towels were old and gritty, felt like motel 6 quality. The toilet seat was so small that it was difficult to sit down properly to do the business. Had to go downstairs to use the lobby restroom which had an updated toilet seat.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good for a complimentary breakfast. Location was perfect for us, as we had to catch the ferry. Check-in and check-out were seamlesd. Definitely would stay here again.

Our room was tiny, very very cramped compared to other hotels of the same price range. The bathroom and room itself were very outdated. There were items from the previous guests left behind in the room and it had a musty smell. The staff gave us attitude. The breakfast was okay and it does have an EV charger which is convenient. But for such a nice area and such a high price it was very disappointing overall.

I found the room to be stale and it had a musty smell. There was no bedding for the sofa bed and when I went to get some they gave the very minimal and no pillows, so we needed to take off the main bed. The sofa bed was not level it felt like there was a bar across the middle. It is in a nice location.

VERY clean, comfortable, great breakfast, nice pool and spa with the best towels I've ever seen at a hotel. Feels very homey. Staff was excellent, professional, friendly. Close to downtown, waterfront, and the park. Something for everyone. Would definitely stay again.

Pretty good accommodations. Walking distance to some decent restaurants in downtown edmonds and the ferry terminal. Their included breakfast was decent too. There was some confusion regarding masking, which I was told was recommended but not mandatory. All in all a nice best western.

The Best Wastern Plus Harbour in was excellent: room extremely well appointe, beds very comfortable, breakfast tasty and well served. This is a well managed hotel with all amenites needed for us,; internet, parking, breakfast, even welcome packages for our dogs. The town of Edmonds is lovely with cute shops, a good choice of restaurants: we have no children so cannot comment on children's amenities.

Nice place to stay if your combining a trip to Seattle and the SanJuan's. Very close to the waterfront and the ferry. Also close to shopping, museums, and restaurants. Just 15 minutes north of the Ballard area of Seattle. Our drive to SeaTac was also easy, we had a flight out at 11:20 am and our drive from the hotel only took about 37 minutes on I-5, a nice surprise. About an hour from Anacortes which is the gateway to the SanJuan's. Also about an hour from Tulip town area.

No matter where a person stays, things change. Just like this motel.. Someone from another room had drilled a hole just under a painting, thinking people wouldn't notice, well we did, but too late. They didn't have any more rooms, very sad.. Staff was kind, but ...Really a peek hole?? And on top of that, we could shut the bathroom door !!! Broken . Told staff, took photo's to show them. Hope the refund money... That's what a good honest place would do... Give a refund. and mostly, fill the darn hole !!!

I've stayed at the hotel a few times over the last 5 years or so. They have friendly, knowledgable staff, the beds and linens are very comfortable, and they have consistently been cheaper than any similar AirBNB in the entire area. Everything was clean and orderly. My daughter and I both needed to work online some while we were there, and the internet worked flawlessly. My one caveat is allergies. The provide an extensive and varied breakfast, including a few vegan options, for examples, but could do better with signage to let people figure out what is safe to eat.

This is a great little BW at the harbour, very close to the ferry. Best part of my great stay was the very welcoming front desk staff, the woman who checked me in was fantastic and really made me feel welcome.

I love the beach near the hotel. There is also a great little “downtown” within walking distance. Cute shops! Clean and convenient hotel. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to have a nice leisurely (cool) beach trip!

Service and all of the usual things I've come to expect were still in evidence. I think this particular room was plagued with poltergeists or something. First the TV would not work - couldn't find a signal. Front desk person came right away - diagnosed the cable box needed to be reset, which she did with some difficulty (why did they put it in the most difficult place to reach?) So signal was restored - for about 3 minutes, then it lost it again. Reported it again. Nothing else for her to try, so maintenance staff would be alerted the next day. He came around very promptly the next morning. (Desk staff called to let me know he was coming.) So he reset the thing - signal restored again - for about 5 minutes. He was going to contact Comcast which, given my experiences with them, meant it was not going to get fixed any time soon. And it wasn't. For me this was no big deal - I don't watch TV at home, so I really didn't need a daily fix of inane programming and endless "My Pillow" and "cartoon bears obsessing about toilet paper" ads. So fine - they really should get on this, though, as the next person to get this room might have a different, less tolerant philosophy. Next problem was the heating/AC unit. No matter the setting, it kept cycling on and off like every few minutes. Okay, whatever. Stuff happens. Then the radio - I never could get it to work! Stuff happens. I think the room is cursed or something. Other than that, everything was fine.

We loved the location of the hotel. The hotel was nice and clean. The check in staff left more to be desired, but the check out staff was kind. If you need a softer bed, this is not the place for you. It was quite firm and we did not sleep great. The jacuzzi tub was amazing!

The moment we arrived we felt at ease - the fireplace in the lobby, warm welcoming staff, and easy walk to the harbor or downtown was a winning combination. Plus a great hot breakfast in a bright comfortable setting. We really enjoyed our stay! And they had treat bags for dogs.

We got stuck in the ferry line for hours after a suspicious package was being investigated in Kingston. I had just had surgery and my friend and I were returning home but decided to see if there were any vacancies at the Harbor Inn. The staff at the Harbor Inn were so welcoming and accommodating!! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay after a hectic and exhausting day. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I highly recommend this Best Western as a good value and for it's great staff.

I am a retired travel agent and I think the Best Western Harbor Inn is a great property located in a quiet area. It is very convenient to everything Edmonds has to offer. It is located next to a very nice athletic club which guests have access to.

The location is perfect; close to the beach and pier, shopping and dining. Edmonds is pretty central in the Seattle-Bellevue-Lynnwood area. The Best Western here is very quiet even though train tracks are close by. The walk to the pier is 2 blocks away. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a dog park roughly 1/2 mile down the pier next to a nice park. You can watch fishermen and the ferry jet across the Sound. A lovely place to stay.

Stayed in this hotel for a couple nights for a life celebration at the Senior center. Location, once we found it was great access to the waterfront and restaurants. Hotel is a little older, but seems well maintained and clean. Our room was on the first floor, but didn't have noise from above. Everything worked, including the wifi. Staff was friendly, and had masks to give if you don't have one on, as they are required. Breakfast was above average. Only difficulties was locating this hotel, it is in the middle of a commercial area and finding it the first time was a bit interesting.

We stayed here for a single night after seeing a concert at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. This is a very basic room which is what we wanted. It's clean and quiet. Front desk staff was excellent. It's also a great location for exploring the town. Grab and go breakfast was simple but well done. My only complaint was that the fitness room was really lacking. The recumbent bike did not work. The elliptical was so loud and I knew would disturb anyone in a nearby room. No mats for doing stretching. The weight machine was nearly useless as to its setup in a corner. Generally, worthless. A simple bike and treadmill with a mat would be a huge improvement.

I stay at this hotel for 5-10 days on business almost every month since summer 2021. The internet is spotty no matter what room I'm in, usually getting ZERO internet using their wifi, and no matter the time of day. When you call down to the front desk, usually you're told "they're working on it." Then, after three months of hearing this, I finally confronted the nice girl at the counter, who leaned over and told me it's always been like this, there is almost no reliable wifi in any of the rooms, but I was was welcome to bring my laptop to the foyer, where wifi was better. Another girl told me the owners have been told repeatedly of guest complaints and have done nothing. Also, the standard two queen bed rooms are awful. The counter where the sink is is not in a bathroom and is so narrow it can hold my toiletry bag, but that's it. Everything else has to go on a shelf underneath. The tiny closet has sliding doors that make it difficult to get the ironing board out, let alone access clothes easily. They should have used bi-fold doors. And last, in every room the desk chair is so low, even on the highest setting, that the desk hits me mid-chest, so typing on my (non-internet connected) laptop puts my hands above my elbows. Sorry about the random underlines . . . No idea why that happened. If you need internet for work or recreation, this is seriously NOT the place to stay.

This hotel is hidden away in Harbor Square. little gems are also hidden here, a museum, yarn shop, interesting restaurants. I would have appreciate the receptionist letting us know about these places. Otherwise the hotel is clean, offers a delicious hot breakfast and close to shops and the harbor.

Apparently this property has changed hands. It's clean, has a good free breakfast, and good location, but customer service needs attention. Front desk staff members, in particular, were not attentive. We have stayed at this BW several times a year in the past 12 years, and have always felt like valued guests. This trip we felt like transients. When we plan another visit to Edmonds we'll check out other options.

The rooms were clean but in dire need of updating. The price paid was no where near the quality of the room. The GM at the location could not have been less helpful her team in spite of her leadership or lack thereof was helpful

Biker friendly is what i always expect and get at Best Western. Not so with the night manager on this trip. Higher than average night rate and no microwave along with a wallet sized fridge made this a less than stellar value.

Room was clean, comfortable, and everything was in working order. Service was friendly and courteous. Location was great--a five minute walk into town. Breakfast buffet was very good, but I would have liked more gluten-free options. Fitness center needs upgrading, but I was able to make it work for my purposes. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to others.

The good: Friendly staff Nice pool The bad: The guest rooms have a wavy patterned carpet, with two different heights. If you're not super careful, it's easy to have a shoe get caught on the difference in heights. I fell hard because of this. The room smelled very stale, although that improved with turning on the a/c. The hotel is minimally staffed, so good luck getting anyone on the phone. The internet boots you off repeatedly.

I chose this place because I was going to be taking a whale watching cruise from the harbor the next morning. It served my purposes. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Nothing special, but a good stay.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Edmonds waterfront and the Edmonds main shopping area is a short drive or long walk. Edmonds has dozens of great restaurants, including 4 within an easy walk. There's also a craft liquor tasting room and a museum featuring Northwest art close by. For families with kids, there is a wooded City s park with playground equipment across the street. And, there's a pool and spa as part of the hotel package, plus a fitness room. For boat lovers, the Port of Edmonds marina contains hundreds of sail and power boats to see from the promenade that runs along the waterfront. And, there is access to public beaches by the ferry terminal and just south of the marina. Overall Edmonds is a charming village with an extensive Farmer's Market on Saturdays during the summer. This hotel is the only one near the waterfront and downtown Edmonds so a good place to stay if you want to explore this community. Downtown Seattle is about 30 minutes away.

This hotel is well run and the breakfast is superb! It is an older building and could use a little updating, but it was clean and very comfortable for our stay. I loved that we could open the windows for fresh air! We will be back.

Walking distance to town snd waterfront, but hotel itself looks out on office complex parking lot and large road. Have to walk through breakfast room to get to pool. Breakfast was average. Decor dated and carpet worn.

Good size room ( 2 beds) very comfortable .lots pillows.., big computer desk with comfortable chair, lots of outlets and 2 table lamps. Needed floor lamp for behind easy chair in corner.& some thing to use for placing bathroom./ shower supplies . Window had blackout curtain and AC was wonderful . Had refrigerator but NO microwave, which I really missed. (one in lobby) WiFi very 'sporadic" but front desk people did their best to help. Could have been from "full house' NO grab bars in shower/tub ..reported my concern to front desk on check out...

Nice rooms. I'd go with a suite next time, excellent breakfast with hot eggs and sausage, friendly staff and very conveniently located by restaurants, fun shopping and the water. You can walk to Main Street where the shops are. Cute town!

Hotel was in a very good location close to ferry dock. Maintenance issues really overshadowed stay. Fireplace room was broken. Ice machine broken. The biggest issue was the elevator was under maintenance so spent 1/2 hour carrying luggage from top floor down to car through outside stairway. Very dangerous and do not know what somebody would have done if they were elderly or limited in their ability to climb. Prices are high so you are paying a lot for a hotel that has these issues.

Best Western in Edmonds is in a prime location close to the Edmonds waterfront, has spacious and comfortable rooms, and could offer visitors a truly excellent experience if it would fix its problem with the WiFi in rooms that are not near the lobby. I stayed at numerous Best Western hotels and never encountered such a poor internet connection that was not fixed during my stay in spite of attempts by the hotel staff and conversations with the IT team. These problems notwithstanding, I was impressed by the responsiveness of the hotel staff and hope that the IT team will fix the WiFi and thus allow this hotel reach its potential.

Staff was very helpful for two people making their first city trip in almost 15 months. A problem in the shower in our room was addressed immediately and fixed. The breakfast area was very clean and the variety was plentiful.

It's been a while since I've stayed in a Best Western, and I was REALLY impressed with this one. It had more of a Northwestern Lodge feel to it with really comfortable, clean, updated rooms. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, and the onsite facilities were well kept.

you can't beat the location of this hotel. Just a short walk from the Edmonds pier and downtown. The charm and fun of Edmonds is only minutes away. Our room was clean and very nice. A comfy bed, cozy chair and the fridge and microwave allowed us to have snacks and cold drinks in our room, when we weren't out enjoying the local scene. The one issue we had was the internet. It was spotty. But thankfully, the business center had great service when we needed to do business.

The hotel staff was so nice. Woke up to Mother's Day at the hotel. The staff, all women, all working early and through the morning. I tipped them all. Lovely nature walk and boardwalk to the south of hotel. Last time here I heard coyotes. They were in the marsh. Cool! Not a problem, just some howling at dusk. This time saw eagle, and heron, geese during the day. Things to remember for next time: binoculars, and for the train horns: earplugs, loud morning alarm, white noise on my phone app.

I have stayed at Edmonds Best Western before and it's always been a great place to stay. The only drawback is that you have to pay extra for a room with a microwave and mini refrigerator. The pass for the fitness center has gone up a little but it's still a good price. The staff from housekeeping, breakfast room attendee, to the front desk reps were great.

The hotel is within walking distance to all the best things Edmonds has to offer. Pleasant staff, a well-kept facility, and they've brought back full self-serve buffet breakfast. If you want to spend a couple nights in Edmonds, you likely will be happy if you choose this hotel as your base.

I stayed two nights with my granddaughter for her 13th birthday. We drove everywhere because it was raining but could have easily walked to several restaurants in nice weather. Good location for the harbor, Arnie's Restaurant (excellent food!) and other stores. Due to Covid, the "breakfast buffet" was more of a "grab'n'go" bag with microwaved breakfast sandwich, fresh fruit and bottled juice or water. We actually had breakfast at a couple of local restaurants. Pancake Haus was great! Good food and reasonable prices. Next morning was at Claire's Pantry. Large portions at good prices. Overall a great stay at a nice hotel.

Great lobby reception and all staff members very helpful. Made you feel they are expecting you and happy that you have arrived. Room clean and comfortable. Because of Covid-19, the breakfast room is not operational. The Staff is very alert to get you what you wish for breakfast. We all miss the breakfast room which was the best in the Northwest!

Quiet hotel and easy access from any parking lot you park. Staff was wonderful! The check in was easy and quick. The only bummer deal for me is I thought there would be water views. The hotel does not sit on water nor have any water views available

The hotel was okay for a brief business stay with clean facilities, friendly front desk staff and close to a lot of amenities and a park. I liked the decor but the hotel mattress was a bit harder than I liked. Overall it was a good value for my money and located in a nice waterfront area but was hard to find at night since it is located at the back of a business park. Signage could be better.

Wow! What a great hotel for the price. Location is perfect - a few long but very walkable blocks to Downtown Edmonds. Beds were SUPER comfy (like, really... we stayed at much "nicer" hotels during our trip but these beds & pillows were the best!). Free easy parking & room access. Great for dogs - there's a big patch of grass right next to the parking lot. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here when he underwent a medical procedure in the area. It was during the pandemic, so many of the amenities were closed or not operating in a usual manner. Also, my sleep quality was not great but that was no fault of the hotel. The decor of the room was not appealing, but that is a personal preference. Overall it was a very clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay. I would stay there again.

We needed a place close to certain things, this hotel did well for us. It was clean and quiet. Staff were very kind and took good care of us during our stay. We always like to stay at a Best Western if we can over most hotels.

It is difficult to maintain composure in the midst of the current conflicts both over masks and with regard to treating all people with respect and dignity. The staff at the best Western Plus Edmonds Harbor Inn handled all people really well and respectfully. In one particular situation where a woman who defed the mask mandate came and stood right next to me. I was disturbed by that. The front desk (in this case I believe the head of housekeeping), just kindly and gently asked if she wanted a mask. She had already raised her voice about being 100% American. I don't believe being an American will keep you well, but perhaps a strong defiant attitude will. Anyway, I was irritated, but the front desk person both settled the other person and let me feel relaxed that everyone was doing the best they could. Kudos to the staff at BW Plus Edmonds Harbor Inn for keeping the hotel clean and the staff and guests as safe as possible.

I am leaving this on behalf of my best friend - After 3 months my kids and I finally get to put roots down in our own place. Before I go I wanted to take a moment and tell everyone about the amazing place we called home for quite some time. The staff especially Robert the manager are so amazing, kind, professional, compassionate and helpful. From helping navigate daily needs to keeping a safe and clean environment (which isnt easy these days) to the delicious cookies or a cold container of milk this lovely hotel and its staff will make you feel like family. We have traveled a lot and hands down Best Western Edmonds is the #1 best place we've stayed. The location is amazing and serene, the sound of the ferry, the dingy of boats to the sound of laughter of people on strolls nearby this place will definitely relax you. I cant say enough about this breathtaking place but we will never forget our vist and the memories made during our stay. So as much as we will be excited to be in our own home we will miss all of you here, thank you Robert, Michelle, Rita, Nancy, Karen, Maricella, Jeff, Mike,Tom, Alex, Brianna, and many more (I'm sorry if I misspelled any names) and to the owners who are always around making sure their guests are cared for "Thank You".

During these times of chaos it's a breath of fresh air (literally) to be somewhere that makes me and my kids feel like we're home. Not only do they clean, and I mean seriously deep clean EVERYTHING daily (and my son has severe asthma and I am battling cancer) but the staff put the safety and comfort of their guests first. The breakfast is a wide variety guaranteed to fit any desire or need hot or cold choices even gluten free and sugar free options are available. I cant say enough from the moment you walk in to the moment you check out you will always feel comfortable and taken care of with respect kindness and dignity. From my family to the Best Western family "Thank You" thank you for the best 2 weeks in a hotel I've had in 44 years.

Not only was the hotel clean and lovely, the breakfast more than substantial, but the staff was just the best. Everyone could not have been more helpful and friendly. If this staff could be cloned into every hotel in the world, the world would be a much better place. We had a delightful two days! You should know that the hotel is a little hard to find, so it is wise to call ahead for more specific instructions. The new entrance is actually not on Dayton, it is on Sunset.

Very clean, very nice. I found it to be quiet hotel. Nice decor. Very good breakfast. Lots of gluten free options available. Good selection of breakfast items. Our room was very nice. We will stay here again.

Not only ws the spot convenient but the surprise breakfast was the best! Not a surprise to us but we were surprised at how good it was, how cheerful the staff was and they the fact they use real plates and silverware!

We like to take the train from Edmonds to Vancouver BC. The Best Western Plus Edmonds Harbor Inn is a short walk from the ferry, and an even shorter walk to the Amtrak station. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff helpful, and the breakfast is good. It beats getting up early to catch an 8:00 am train.

I always stay at Best Western when I travel; this was my first stay at this property and I was very happy with every aspect. The room was comfortable; the staff made every effort to accommodate my request for the type of room I needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. No DVD player; no microwave. Excellent restaurants close by. Easy access to the ferry.

Stayed here for 2 nights in early November, we stay here once or twice a year, its our favorite hotel. Nice area close to bars restaurants ferry and train. Nice and quiet, clean, with a great breakfast. All staff super friendly..... I always know what to expect when we stay here and it never disappoints. Thanks again, Harbor Inn see you next time!

Its a beautiful place...best stay in awhile we have had that didn't cost a fortune. Best were incredibly comfortable and it was an overall gorgeous hotel. We will be back for sure to stay in Edmonds Wa

The only negative was the desk clerks lack of familiarity with the Apple credit card which is a MasterCard. While it looks different they have been out a few months now and it is time to learn. She was reluctant to accept the card without another card. Other than the checkin experience it was a great property.

Wherever I travel I always try to stay at a BW as they are always of great quality. I am especially happy with this particular hotel. Location was great, easy to find. Edmonds is a small town, plenty of restaurants, cafes around. The water is also close, worth walking down to see. The hotel has chargers for electric cars, superb. Check is was easy, quick. The guy at the front desk was especially great. Thanks for the food recommendation. The room was just perfect. Nice size, comfy bed, great pressure shower. Plus point on the proper coffee mugs. Nice touch I had a really good night sleep. There is a pool outside which seems to be working but as it was freezing cold out there (late November) I did not try. Breakfast was amazing as well I can only recommend this place and would stay again anytime

This place is in with office buildings but is close to the ferry as well as the Amtrak station. Staff was very accomadating and helpful. Easy walk into downtown Edmonds. Prices are reasonable. Room was very clean and very well maintained. Breafast was good with average choices.

Tucked away just off the road that connects the Edmonds ferry landing to the main highway, this hotel (once you find it) offers a very pleasant overnight accommodation. The rooms are large, pleasantly decorated, spotlessly clean. Within walking distance there are several good restaurants as well as a trail through a nearby marsh and a walkway along the waterfront. The breakfast options are varied and range from fresh fruit to frittatas to waffles.

Great location on on the Sound, exceptional staff and a well maintained facility. Excellent complimentary hot breakfast. Gets you away from the Seattle traffic problems. Edmond is a great town! Good choice of restaurants.

We come into Seattle about 3 times a month. We often use the Best Western Plus Harbor Inn, in Edmonds as a place to stay when we have stayed in town visiting friends. The rooms are very comfortable and we have always enjoy the front desk service.This week we arrived earlier than check-in time and were accommodated, even though we totally expected to leave luggage and return at the normal check in time. We use this hotel so often the staff remembers us, which feels like friends welcoming us to their home. We will always stay here in the future.

Really great hotel, close to harbor, restaurants, Kingston ferry, shopping, and downtown. Room was clean and well-kept by housekeeping. Was not able to get late checkout (noon). No safety hand hold bars in shower. Otherwise, highly recommend.

This is a nice hotel, but the location is a little bit weird. From the name, we expected the hotel to be on the waterfront, but that's not the case (in fact, no views from any of the rooms that we could see). The surrounding area is made up of offices, a fitness center, and a few isolated shops -- very few restaurants or pubs close by, although there are several about 10 minutes walking distance at the actual waterfront. The hotel room we had was nice, with a great bed.... super comfortable. Nice lobby too.

We recently had friends visiting and they stayed at this hotel. They said it was quite clean and comfortable and it was easy for us to rendezvous with them in the daytime and evening hours. Breakfast was included and they seemed very happy with the accommodations.

I chose this hotel for a place close to the water and found this nice town with great restaurants and friendly staff all around town, the hotel is a great stop with nice rooms and Great places to visit near this location.

This already wonderful place to stay just keeps getting better. The front desk service, overall cleanliness and comfortable rooms are top-notch. Nice improvements to the property are constantly being made. Breakfast is wonderful. We stay here for business trips and family visits.

Stayed two nights for a wedding, very close to great restaurants and coffee shops. Walking distance to many things to do and see, very close to the water which was nice. Everyone at the hotel was kind and patient. The free breakfast had many choices including a very nice gluten free selection.

I've stayed here many times, as well as other hotels in the area for work. At first it bothered me how close it was to the train, but I have found that if I'm on the first floor I don't hear it as much for some reason. Anyways, its really nice place, extremely comfortable, great service, in a beautiful area. Lots to do around there. I've made it my main hotel to go to.

I attended a high school reunion gathering in Edmonds, and needed a place nearby to stay for the night so I didn't have to drive home. The Edmonds Best Western Plus filled the bill. The room was clean, nicely appointed, and quiet, and I slept well on a very comfortable bed. Recommended.

This hotel is well run, clean and provides an exceptional breakfast. Staff even went to the trouble of finding me some boxes to put wedding gifts in - clearly an over and above the call of duty effort.

We had a 2 night stay in Seattle and decided to stay north of Seattle Center. Had a dinner with friends in this town so stayed at this location. It was very comfortable, quiet, and safe. It's close to the ferry so you can walk to the walkway by the water and watch the ferry coming and going. Our sight-seeing was specific to downtown Seattle but it's worth the drive to enjoy the coastline and the quaint town.

Nothing fancy about this particular BWPlus but it was clean and comfortable with better than average breakfast fare for the hotel class. The location is near Port Edmonds waterfront with good restaurants within walking distance.

Nice hotel with great service. Located within walking distance of ferry, beach park, beach restaurants and downtown Edmonds and it's charming shops and restaurants. Easy access to I5 in a quiet, charming small town. The ferries and trains horns were not very noticeable in the hotel.

This hotel is a gem in the charming community of Edmonds. The staff is so polite & friendly & the rooms are very nice with recent remodeling. With the nightly rate around Seattle area being half again or more what it is here, I will go here when I can. I travel to Seattle every other week for business so know all the hotels in the entire area. This BW is a stand out, especially for the price, location & great staff.

Friendly staff. Good location. Decent breakfast. Great beds. Only downside was AC which seems to get turned off off at night. Seemed to work fine during the day, but at night it got warmer in the room.

After a lot of research, we decided to stay in Edmonds for our recent Seattle visit and this hotel was just perfect! We booked a kitchenette room, and it was a good-sized, bright room with windows on two walls. The wifi was good and the outdoor pool and hot tub were very nice after a day of sightseeing. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast options (shout out for the fritatta -- it was delicious!) and the all-day coffee, tea and cookies in the lobby. We took the Sounder train into Seattle and back one day, the bus to Lynnwood/Seattle and back another day, and the ferry over to Kingston one morning, just for fun, and they are all within easy walking distance of the hotel. It was nice to not have to worry about driving or parking in the City, as the train and the bus both dropped us off close to the heart of Seattle. We walked to the pier and the beach several times too, to watch the sun go down and to enjoy the ocean breeze, and it just took a few minutes to walk. Edmonds is a wonderful city, very pretty, safe and friendly, and this hotel could not be in a better location -- it's just perfect.

Great hotel, clean, close to Seattle, great breakfast. Staff when we checked in were not the most pleasant, but they did their job. It was a great end to a quick day trip into Seattle from Canada. Would come back again.

It is a clean hotel. Walls are very thin but it is a hotel. Breakfast had a lot of things to pick from. Our towels where not replaced. Glad we had enough for the next morning. 4 total. Front desk employee was very rude when we checked in.

Stayed in a junior handicap suite and it was perfect for us; with all of our gear. Parking was right in front of the door to the room. Will definitely stay here again this is a great place to stay; will be back.

Had a great time at Harbor Inn, we first stayed here back in 2010 and so was great to come back at the start of our Harley tour. Love the lobby and the coffee, great breakfast and excellent room. Definitely would recommend.

We have stayed here a few times over the past few years, in one of the "queen suites". They are in the newer part of the hotel and therefore relitively new and clean. Also they are "outside" so one can enter these rooms without going through the lobby, but so can anyone else, so that may not be a plus for everyone. The only overall problem is limited street access and the multiple "speed bumps" throughout the parking lot. The hotel shares the area with a large gym/tennis club and there is always a good deal of traffic and parking can sometimes be an issue, but there are "hotel only" parking slots marked and usually the gym members respect that. TVs are new/big HD, and cable TV is good but during our stay some channels just stopped working, (sports mostly, not sure why and with just a day to go in our stay, I didn't press the issue). All in all its a frendly, clean place, and with the ferry and railroad quite near, it is suprisingly quite when inside. The room decor could be nicer, feels a little like a cheap furnished apartment, just as it looks on the web site, but the bed and bedding are very nice.

We are seniors who travel to see grandchildren. We come back to this hotel again and again because of the comfort, quiet, and convenience. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The breakfast is amazing. The service is incredible.

Pleasure trip for Family reunion in Cle Elum. Only stayed 5hours before heading to airport which was an hour South. Showers were hot. Beds were very comfy. Since we would miss breakfast we got a nice to Go bag with fruit,granola bag and Coffee or Expresso to Go!

I wanted to stay in Edmonds because it's such a beautiful, walkable town with great restaurants and shops, plus close to my work. The BW+ was clean, newly remodeled, affordable and in a great location! The bed was AMAZING! Good shower. I did not care for the breakfast buffet, but there are plenty of cute coffee shops in town. The parking lot is NOT well lit!! Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

This hotel is perfect for staying at if you are going on a whale boat trip from Port Edmonds as it's a short walk to the harbour. It has a large car park but you need to get a pass from reception and display it. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient. The hotel has 2 floors and the rooms are spacious with everything you need including a fridge. The air conditioning unit was a little noisy but that's not unusual in the USA. The breakfast is the usual self service buffet with hot and cold food. There are a few restaurants in walking distance to the hotel for dinner. Overall the staff were friendly, room was clean and the location was great for an overnight stop.

We stayed here for two nights as part of a trip down the Pacific Coast highway. We arrived late on the first evening on the direct train from Vancouver, BC into the Amtrak station in Edmonds and we were pleased to find the hotel was an easy, short walk from the station. We found the front desk staff a little less enthusiastic than we might have expected with one exception, when we asked for dinner recommendations -Arnie's was excellent. Complimentary tea/coffee and water (and cookies!) were available across from reception in the lobby area all day, and we were impressed with the breakfast offering, there was a great selection of cereal, fresh fruit, waffles, pastries each morning. The weather wasn't on our side so we didn't use the pool facility, but it's a good amenity for any families with small children staying. Other reviews mention the noise from the train affecting sleep, but we didn't have this experience, our window overlooked the front of the hotel and the main road passing outside. The pier at Port of Edmonds was a short walk away, with great views over Puget Sound. We would probably stay again and would recommend Edmonds and BW Edmonds Harbor Inn as an accessible alternative to staying in the busy city centre of Seattle.

The woman that checked us in was friendly and welcoming. The room was really nice. Updated, clean, well stocked with many little extras. The breakfast was amazing. So many options and everything was fresh. Not the typical Continental breakfast - more like a full service breakfast. Location was right by the ferry queue which was convenient as we were taking it the next morning. The hotel is located within walking distance of many food options. The only drawback of the hotel is that it is right by train tracks. With the ferry coming in once every hour or so and the multiple trains coming thru, it is really noisy with horns. Nothing that the hotel can do about this, but for sure worth mentioning. My sleep was disrupted by this numerous times.

We stay at this location several times a year and always feel at home. We are greeted as if we are valued customers by professional and friendly staff. The rooms are well appointed, the beds are comfortable, and everything in the room works. You can't find a better free breakfast anywhere, with egg dishes, meats, bakery items, fruit, yogurt, and cereals. It's within walking distance of several good restaurants and downtown Edmonds.

If you don't mind LOTS of train noise then this is the place for you. If you have problems walking and need to get to the ferry it is not within walking distance for someone with a problem. Was told it was only a block or two. Turns out it is over 0.6 miles.I asked if they had a shuttle and they said Uber would be better because I may be waiting all day for the shuttle. I guess that is a way of saying they really don't have a shuttle like they said they did. Lesson learned. I did not call the 1-800 number, I called the hotel directly. I was still given wrong information. The window seal was cracked so it was hard to see out of. No worries, there is a view of nothing. I was told about a beach view. The lobby looks great! The rooms, not so much.

I stayed at the Best Western Harbor Inn for 5 nights. It was an overall great experience. Pros Perfect location for walking to downtown Edmonds, the beach, and for driving day trips. It is about a 1/2 mile easy walk to downtown with great little shops, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. On Saturday they have a beautiful farmer's market with flowers, fruit and veggies, live music, etc. very nice! Nice breakfast with eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc. Comfortable beds Refrigerator in room Coffee, tea, fruit, and cookies available in the lobby all day/night Although some reviews complained about the train noise, it didn't bother me at all. I stayed on the side facing north (I think!) and had no issues with noise. Cons (very minor) The bathrooms are a bit dated, but super clean. One day I was in my room with the do not disturb sign on the door and the latch turned to display do not disturb. I was just going to relax for a few hours before heading out for the afternoon and evening. At 11:00 the front desk called and asked what time I would be leaving so they could change my sheets. I was taken aback since I had indicated that I didn't want to be disturbed and then felt pressured to leave the room so they could clean. They told me to stop by the front desk to let them know that I was leaving. So I did and told told them how I felt about being disturbed and the 3 people at the desk just stared at me. One said, “I'm so sorry. Did we resolve your issue adequately?” Seemed a bit odd to me. I've never had that happen in all my many years of traveling. Anyway, this is a great motel for visiting Edmonds and the surrounding area.

I have really high expectations for the Best Western Plus hotels and this place did not disappoint. It's located in one of my favorite towns - Edmonds, WA. So much to see and do and everything is so close. From the moment you walk through the door of this hotel you can feel the quality of the place. The front desk staff were simply amazing and Michelle was outstanding. She did everything right including giving us some restaurant coupons that saved us about $30 when we ate dinner. Our room was exceptional in every detail. Comfortable bed, plenty of room and super clean. The only drawback that I saw was in the breakfast quality. It was OK and not a deal killer but it could have been better. When I stay at a hotel that furnishes a complimentary breakfast I usually will go for the oatmeal and all of the goodies but I guess I didn't want to make my own from the package that was available. Lazy on my part but I feel the hot pot of already made oatmeal is a better option. BTW - Best Western will name a suite after me if I can get 999,999 helpful votes for this review. Not super fancy, but clean. Rooms are quite small, I expected them to be larger and a little more upscale. Breakfast was very good. Service was great. Staff was very helpful and courteous. A nice place to stay, good location.

We enjoy staying at the Best Western in Edmonds. It's convenient to the ferry and the cookies are delicious. Breakfast includes all kinds of choices. The rooms are comfortable. Some people complained about the train noise, but we didn't notice it.

The hotel was nice. It was in a really great location for most of what we wanted to do in Seattle. It was only a short walk to public transit into Seattle. The room was adequate, but the vanity area was really small and made it difficult to get everyone ready in the morning. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. There is a large lobby where our family met many times to just have room to sit and visit. We took wine down there and were never bothered by any of the staff. The breakfasts were really good, with great selection for every type of appetite. The pool area is kind of bland and the fitness room was really stuffy and small. The hotel is near railroad tracks and we often heard the train several times during the night. The front counter staff could have been a little more familiar with how to access public transit, because it is really confusing and we had to figure it out the hard way.

The location is perfect, the community is great and the staff will bend over backwards to assist you with any thing they can do for you. The bed was comfortable, shower etc was great and TV had lots of channels

This Best Western Plus is well situated in Edmonds. We went to many of the unique stores in the downtown area and to 3 of the restaurants - Anthony's, Ivars, Chantrelles- all recommended. We also went to live theatre at the Phoenix Theatre. - Women in Jeprody. Just hilarious! A very small theatre and quite inexpensive. There are shows regularly so take a look to see what is playing if you choose to saay here., There is a train depot within walking distance to go downtown to Seattle. We didn't take the train because we have been to Seattle many times. There are is a ferry terminal in Edmonds - the Kingston Ferry is 2 blocks away. The beaches are also in walking distance but it was too cool to go by the beach and relax. The arts festival was on that weekend and a treasure to view work by locals and others outside of the area This area is wonderful for a quick getaway to recharge. Lots to do but we ran out of time

Have been coming here for Years - my Favorite spot in Seattle. I used to stay Downtown until I discovered The BW Harbor Inn. Seeing Barbara and Michelle at the Front Desk feels like you are visiting old friends ~ Love it Here !!!!!

Gap in bottom of room door. Watch your toes... Love the railway crossing warning horn for traffic. Walk or drive down to Marina Beach Park. Could also walk to Edmonds Marsh viewing area behind motel...

We stayed for one night so we could attend a local event at the performance center. Our room was reserved weeks ago, but we accepted a lesser room as we asked for s quiet location. Between the traffic on one side and trains on the other, it was a pretty sleepless night. No extra blankets or robes ... very small bathroom with noisy fan and broken heat/air conditioning. Staff did reduce our room rate for the booking error and lack of quality facility. As compared to other best western locations it is pricey ($140-170 for a double queen room) .... hope someone addresses the issues soon.

I had business in Seattle but I really like Edmonds so we decided to stay here. You can walk to most any place you'll want to go to in Edmonds. Great location. The kitchenette was perfect. Would stay again.

This Best Western is in a great location to catch the ferry to Kingston and within easy walking distance to downtown Edmonds.The breakfast was tasty with a wide selection of all foods and hot food that was hot.Every member of staff that i came into contact with was very helpful, professional and kind. I have belonged to Best Western Club for years... I have stayed in a ton of them all over the country. Normally "a nice surprise is no surprise" when I am travelling This is the only time I have left this kind of poor review (ever!). The hotel itself was clean and the rooms were nice. I have not had the breakfast yet but I am assuming it will be good. The staff were excellent when I checked in...I am upset because there was no warning regarding my room being on a main train line. I came in exhausted at about 11 pm went to bed immediately only to be awakened several times by the trains whistle. It sound like your room is on the track! Had I been warned with a sign on the check in desk I probably would have stayed regardless but that did not happen. I was charged full BW rates for a substandard sleep for the first time! I being a newbie tourist checking in would not look for proximity to train tracks. I am not sure on number but there were a lot of them and the horn was sounded at least 5 to 6 times as it rumbled by.

Very comfortable beds. Close to ferry, beach, park, trail, shopping and restaurants. Breakfast had great choices and staff was extremely helpful. Only down side to the location is it is near a train that runs past regularly. However, the hotel was one of the best and most comfortable I have ever been to. I look forward to staying there again.

We've stayed here twice with our 2 young kids. Check in and check out was super quick and easy. After our first stay, we knew this would be a go-to for future stays in that area because the full breakfast is a wonderful perk. Rooms were very clean looking and smelled clean. Nothing was broken. Comfy beds and pillows. We love this hotel.

From the time we stepped foot in this hotel, we felt very cared for! Staff at every level was knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. All our many questions about navigating the area were answered with a smile. We took advantage of the guest office with internet and enjoyed the clean modern workout room!

Perfect spot on the Sound, within easy driving distance of downtown Seattle, access to Lynnwood shops, and a small town center with a diverse range of shops and restaurants. This hotel has consistently been a pleasure to stay at and return to. The one distraction is the trains, and that's a fact of life in this corner of the northwest.

The night of sleep was average, but the internet didn't work for more than a couple of minutes at a time, and the desk clerk was not concerned enough with my complaint to help me fix it. I know it wasn't only my device, because NO device we had in our room would connect. There was some dirt and hair in the corners of especially the bathroom, but the bedding was clean and the breakfast was respectable although the eggs seemed cold.

After having the pleasure to stay here for a week for business purpose, it changed my thoughts of Best Western. I have had many different experiences with this chain and this particular hotel knocked it out of the park. The staff was nothing short of great! The location offers so many restaurant options and the feel of being out of the city. There are several activity options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to stay in the area.

We stayed a week in this hotel. Puget Sound is right outside the door. Live eagles. The service is very good. The hot breakfast is good. Excellent shopping and coffee within walking distance. Overall, a great week for the family.

Ok, let's start with the cons: - In-room coffee. Miserable, especially considering they're in the Seattle environs. The maker put a nice crema on top, and I was all giddy, ready for an exceptional cup. Blech! Watered-down, nearly flavorless. Very disappointing. On the up-side, the 24/7 coffee that was offered in the lobby was acceptable. Decent, even. - Toilet/shower room was a bit small, but I'm a big guy. - I was going to say that the street noise was high...even waking me up a number of times during my first (of two) nights. Then I went to open the curtains in the morning and discovered the window was open, which I closed. Next night, no problems. So, not really a con. Now, these things exceeded my expectations: - Very friendly front desk staff, even at 3:45 a.m., when I had to check out. - Superbly comfortable bed and pillows. Slept really well (second night, at least...see above). - Little to no hallway noise. - Breakfast offerings were many and varied. I had egg bake with peppers, sausage, and potatoes. All better than what I expected. - In-room glass glasses and ceramic coffee mugs. - Very clean throughout - public areas and in-room.

Our King room was large for a Seattle area room. It included a pod coffee maker and a refrigerator. The furnishings and carpet were nearly new. View from our room was the "Health Club" next door, a huge dome. Pool and hot tub were not available as they are seasonal. We asked for a room on an upper floor and the first night was quiet and we slept well. The bed was comfortable and the linens and towels were good quality. Even the toiletries were better than average. The second night the party crowd moved into the next room around midnight starting with the TV blaring. I called it in because they woke us and they turned it down. Each morning we had a hot breakfast with eggs, fried potatoes, bacon or sausage and fruit. They had waffle makers and lots of other cold breakfast choices, too. A cut above. I would recommend this Best Western and I would stay there again. Walking distance to the Ferry and downtown Edmonds with its shops and restaurants. Nice weekend stay.

Bring your own high quality ear plugs as the ones they supply may not work. Trains pass literally all night long, sometimes as frequently as every 10 minutes. If trains rock you to sleep, then you will have the best sleep of your life

The trains running all night was not good but this hotel needs to be updated. The building AC was not working. The ice machine was not working. Staff seemed absolutely clueless. I had ankle surgery and was on a scooter. They put us in the farthest room from the lobby. When I complained about the ice machine on our floor he suggested I come down to the first floor to get ice there. Seriously? All in all...very disappointing!

We booked this property because an inconvenient storm interrupted a birthday/anniversary trip. I was happy to find a "special" room available for my husband's birthday. We arrived about 8..."hobo" hairs on the toilet seat. Oh well...everyone has an "off" day, and after 12 hours in the car, I was too tired to complain. the room was large and well appointed. The jacuzzi tub was nice, but one of the bathrobes was filthy....ok...won't use a bathrobe...then, I moved the phone on the nightstand and found a gross pile of fingernail clippings....good thing I'm a "good" witch! We were going to spend another night, but the gross-out factor was too much with the last peoples' body debris all over the room. A port in a storm should still be basically clean. I spend a lot of nights at Best Western properties, and this one was disappointing.

I travelled in during a snow storm. Front desk staff was very nice on the several occasions that I called to inform them of travel delays. Hotel appears to be remodeled, nice décor and very clean. Close proximity to both the Edmonds - Kingston ferry as well as AMTRACK. Breakfast options were good and plentiful.

I was delighted to find a BW in Edmonds, WA when I recently had a need to spend a night. The hotel staff was outstanding and the hotel was clean and comfortable in every way. I have chemical sensitivity and, although admitting to using fragrant sprays in the guest rooms, I was offered a special cleaning without fragrances and that windows would be left open to air the room before I arrived. I was very happy to discover my room cleaned as promised and spent a night comfortably. The hotel is a short walk to very nice restaurants, the beach front and marina with lots to see and do. I will definitely spend a few nights a year enjoying this find.

Clean, friendly, quaint, large rooms, hit breakfast with eggs, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit. I have stayed here many times. They recently upgraded their rooms and decor. Bathrooms are small but our room had a sink, microwave, coffee and dishes. Nice local place to stay.

Our heating system wasn't working properly, so they immediately gave us another room. Because we had to move, our accommodations were a larger room, plus a king sized bed. We really appreciated this extra service.

I love this hotel. It's within walking distance of downtown Edmonds shops and restaurants. It's also within walking distance of the ferry terminal, Amtrak station, and Edmonds beach. The hotel is always clean and the rooms are comfortable.

little tricky finding the entrance, but we were up for 20 hrs at that point! What an amazing place. Beautiful lobby, the people are so freindly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, the usual selection and then some, fresh cut fruit, 2 egg choices, best bacon and even tomato juice! Nice little trail that goes around the small marsh in the back. Would definitely stay again!!

The Edmonds Best Western Plus Harbor Inn is a very nice hotel near the bay. The rooms were clean and neatly decorated. The breakfast was hot and had many options and the location was quiet yet close to many attractions and restaurants.

I chose this hotel for its location. We were just minutes away from our son and the Kingston Ferry. We could even walk to two great seafood restaurants along the pier - Anthony's and Arnie's. The hotel staff was very friendly. Check-in and out was quick, efficient, and easy. The room was basically your average hotel room. The beds were quite comfy. We could hear the train and the ferry whistle, but it did not bother us. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded any that we have ever had at other hotels. They changed up the menu from day to day. Sometimes they offered scrambled eggs (again, they were the best we've ever had at a hotel) with bacon or sausage. Another day they offered a type of omelette (didn't care for this offering too much). Make your own Belgian waffle. Plenty of fresh fruit, danish, donuts, muffins, breads, juices, milk, cereal, and most importantly - hot coffee throughout the day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Edmonds, WA or nearby.

Right in the town, just a short walk to the railway station, the ferry and all the amenities the town has to offer. Every staff member we talked to was helpful and pleasant, the new trainee asked for help as soon as he found something unfamiliar. Good Training! Excellent rooms, spacious and squeaky clean. Great breakfast choices, well cooked in Best Western hotels style. We had a railway side room and slept with the window open all night, but we live in a railway town and hear this every single night so slept without any problem, if that's an issue for you, ask to sleep on the other side. Overall, Awesome, and we will be back for sure.

Edmonds, WA, have stayed at this hotel for the last 20 years and is always great, staff and rooms are always consistently great. Always know what to expect and are always extremely pleased with all aspects.

This hotel goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Their breakfast selections are terrific and so tasty. Comfy beds, and lots to see and do around surrounding area. There is a bit of train noise, but not bad, request a room on the street side if possible, you will not be sorry you selected this hotel.

Great hotel - clean, quiet, and friendly staff. Centrally located - you can walk to downtown. Easy access to the Ferry going to Kingston. Many people go downtown for dinner, but I liked Arnies - within walking distance. Tip: The prices for dinner in the lounge are far cheaper than the main restaurant and it's almost the same menu. You can also pick your own table near the window.

After coming from two different Best Western hotels while visiting in the state of Washington, the BW Plus is the only way to go. SEATEC and College Way Inn BW were awful! Edmonds Harbor was a retreat after coming from College Way. However, be sure you stay away from the Fitness Center when booking. It's located upstairs and when someone is using the treadmill it sounds like a herd of buffalo coming through.

Once you settle into the Plus BW be ready for the trains shout and whistle plus a few long solos from the ferry boat! After the second night we finally got a good nights rest. Wonderful location only a 3 block walk up to city center where you can experience an incredible Saturday market, numerous restaurants and the famous Red Twig café. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

This hotel is well located in the city of Edmonds and is close to restaurant and shopping malls. The hotel staff were amazing and so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here. Plus the room was very confortable and the breakfast was outstanding. Very confortable stay.

This hotel is located in the center of a strip mall type parking lot. All rooms look out to parked car. It is sandwiched in between a very loud train and a loud ferry. Upon arrival, we found a large clump of hair in the bath tub. This was terribly disappointing.

Compared to the market e.g. Hampton Inn etc that are within 10 miles and cheaper I wish I'd selected them. The rooms are dated, worn, need painting. Room cleaning was intermittent and required multiple visits to the front desk. Overall...look nearby for a better value.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed the egg bake. The hotel coffee was good. There is plenty of parking but most of it is not convenient to the front door. There are plenty of restaurants and tap rooms within walking distance. Close to the ferry. Staff is mostly friendly. When we arrived the woman behind the front desk ignored us and did not even stop to let us know she would be right with us. However, a manager came by and asked if we had been helped and when we said no he immediately got the woman to check us in. We would stay here again.

Conveniently located in Edmonds near the beach, marina, ferry, and little retail/dining district. Very charming and walkable area. Rooms are clean, finishes are a little dated, furniture nicely updated. Free parking, breakfast, and wi-fi. Excellent service. The nearby freight train runs many times a day but seems to stop at night. We didn't mind - so overjoyed with the area and this nice inn.

Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. If we were to stay again we would request a room on the front side of the hotel as our room on the main floor facing the back of the hotel was perfect if you like to hear the trains horns all night.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times and really like it. It had great breakfast service, the rooms are very nice, and the staff is excellent. It's within easy walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and other locales in Edmonds, as well as the ferry to Kingston. It's just a great place to stay.

Nice hotel to use as a base for visits to both Seattle and Boeing Future Flights. Good breakfast with hot items. Small pool and spapool area with sunbeds and free pool towels. The honk from the trains were charming reminding us of old American movies. They did not prevent us from sleeping. If we go back to the area we would choose this hotel again.

Me, my wife, and our three kids took a trip to Seattle, but wanted to stay somewhere out of downtown. The Edmonds area was quaint, and we loved being close to the marina/harbor area. The hotel itself was nice and very clean. When I checked in, I let the desk staff know that our reservation was for two adults and two kids, but we actually had an extra infant with us. Every time we told the website we had three kids, it wanted to make us get two rooms, which we just couldn't afford. The front desk staff was very accommodating and understanding - no worries and no extra charge for the baby! The parking lot seemed safe, and the exterior of the hotel was nice. The hotel is located between a nice looking athletic club and a small shopping center with some restaurants and offices. The Hotel is also only a few minutes walk from the Edmonds ferry port and the marina/beach area. Our kids had a great time hunting for shells on the beach. The hotel room itself was very clean - the sheets and towels looked and smelled fresh, the remote was sterilized and placed in a clean bag, and the room looked like it was recently renovated. Our kids loved having some time to come soak in the pool and hot tub at the end of our day sightseeing. The pool area is well-maintained and the kids loved the colored lights in the pool. The water temperature of the pool didn't feel like it was heated - a little to cold for me - but our kids didn't mind at all. The hot tub was perfect. Breakfast was great. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, along with Carbon's malted waffle mix and a waffle iron. They also had all kinds of breads and bageles and toppings to build your own breakfast sandwiches, cereals, yogurt, various fruit options, danish and donuts, milk, coffee, juice, and hot chocolate. Other reviewers have mentioned the train sound. There is a train track located about 50 to 100 yards from the hotel. Amtrak trains, as well as the Sounder public transit trains from Seattle to Everett run along this track at regular intervals from early in the morning until late at night. The trains do honk to signal their approach to the Edmonds station. If you're a light sleeper, the train noise might be an issue for you. The train does run on the west side of the hotel, so maybe on the east side of the hotel it wouldn't be as pronounced? Still, I slept through the train noise without any problem and didn't really notice it - definitely not a deal breaker for me. Overall, this was a great hotel experience and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location, breakfast pretty good. Comfortable beda and friendly staff. One thing to avoid - rooms on 1st floor near side exits of the hotel - smokers stand outside the rooms frequently close to your window.

We stay at this hotel often, but this time we had the grandchildren with us. We had a lovely room, spacious, with small refrigerator, two-burner cooktop and a microwave. When one child had a small accident, the housekeeper quickly changed the bed and was very kind about it. The breakfast had enough choices for the pickiest eater, and the kids totally loved the pool. They even loved the train whistle and the ferry boat horn. The hotel was an easy walk from several good local restaurants. We were in and out of Seattle every day, easy drive, without Seattle hotel prices. This was a great stay.

My room was very clean and comfortable, and this motel is located in a very scenic part of Washington. Can't wait to visit here again. This motel definitely put me into vacation and relaxation mode. One of the Best motel experiences ever.

This place was suggested by friends who live in town. We spent two nights here while traveling and it was comfortable, clean and well run. Service at the desk was excellent, quick and friendly. The room was on a corner upstairs, which made for good light. The room had everything in it you would expect from a good motel/hotel. Be aware that the AmTrak station is very near, so you will hear trains at all hours. We found it easy to adapt and were not bothered by the noise. There was a view of the harbor and we could hear the ferries come and go, a nice local touch. We would stay there again.

We had an amazing time at the Best Western Plus in Edmonds. We traveled to Edmonds for a family reunion and had a relaxing stay at this hotel. Breakfast was great, lots of options. The suit we had was a great retreat. Bed was very comfy. Slept great!

The hotel worked perfect on our trip to Victoria, B.C. The hotel staff was very helpful and we got grab and go breakfast so we could catch the early ferry. They also recommended a great little restaurant right down the street that had a wonderful view and very good food. We would stay there again.

This hotel, it's staff and location were outstanding. We had to travel to Seattle for some medical consultations, and were so happy to stay a wee bit north in Edmunds. The hotel staff were very welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the entire area. Great dining recommendations, and happy hour suggestions, all within a short walk of the hotel. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable, which is not always the case for a 6'5" man. We really liked how accessible everything was to the hotel, including the Kingston Ferry within walking distance. We took the ferry across the sound to Kingston, where we walked the town shops (not a lot there), and ate lunch. We had actually booked an additional night, but were required to leave early due to evacuation of our home in Redding. They gladly refunded us without issue.

The man checking us in was very helpful with dinner recommendations. Very friendly and welcoming. Great Coffee available 24 hours. Very clean heated pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great!! This was a great place to stay.

The room was pleasant, with well-screened windows that opened wide. Pool looked inviting though we did not use it. The hot breakfast items were much better than the usual hotel fare. The location is great, with easy access to bars, restaurants, the waterfront, and the train. We used the train to get in and out of Seattle for a baseball game, paid way less for this hotel than staying in Seattle and still had time to hang out in the city and also in Edmonds. Hotel staff were friendly, efficient and professional. We had a wifi access issue in the room for a while but it seemed to resolve. Would stay at this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was very helpful, the room was great, and the complimentary breakfast was better than most! While there is not much of a view, the hotel is located close to the waterfront and ferry terminal - very convenient. Walking distance to restaurants and the harbor. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There is nothing wroing with this hotel. But the train horn noise is very annoying. NIce short walk into the town. Close to water and ferry service. Short drive to Seattle downtown. We were able to make the drive to the Seattle cruise terminal in about 35 mins. during the morning rush hour - Using google maps. That was leaving at about 8:30AM

Lovely location. Walk to several restaurants. Surprisingly good breakfast. Nice clean room. After receiving the wrong keys initially - well, actually, the right keys but the wrong room number, our stay was good. Front desk was apologetic and worked quickly to rectify the mistake.

The staff are super friendly. The included breakfast is quite good as is the coffee. The beds are very comfortable. The property is located near the marina within easy walking distance to the town center. The numerous trains are rather loud, but running the fan helps to subdue the noise. We will request a room away from the tracks on our next visit.

Ok Best Western. People are friendly and helpful. Location seemed good since we were visiting friends in Edmonds. We had a HORRIBLE night of sleep due to the train conductor blowing his horn every hour on the hour after midnight. Think twice before you book.

Edmonds is a great little ocean side town with amazing variety of restaurants! The Best Western is a very clean and friendly hotel located very close to the pier. Yes there is train noise but I am a light sleeper and didn't hear anything at night. Its a nice short drive into Seattle (we went for the day and saw a concert). Weekdays there is a train you could take into Seattle. The complimentary breakfast was amazing! Fresh and such a variety of choices.

This is a Best Western Plus. They are sort of an improved, I guess you could call it upscale version of this chain. And it was. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Beds were very comfortable and the AC could hardly be heard. Breakfast bar among the best we've had. It wasn't as much the food, but the preparation.Conveniently located near beaches, restaurants, a distillery, museum, shops and the ferry. I would have rated 5 stars except a large trash bin was parked in such a way as to occupy 4 parking spaces, which are at a premium.

The staff here are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. She was able to answer questions about whale watching tour and things to do in the area. The room was very clean, and decent size. Nothing fancy here, but clean and efficient. I would definitely recommend staying here. Especially if you are coming for the whale watch trip, very lose to the harbor.

The staff and the rooms at the Best Western Plus Harbor Inn in Edmonds is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean and the breakfast is great! Also, the staff if exceptional. There is ample room to park and a free computer with a printer to use in the lobby which is very handy to use for things like checking in and printing your airline boarding passes.

I stayed here with a friend three years ago and it was the obvious choice for a return visit. The hotel is located within walking distance of the train station, the ferry and a variety of very good restaurants in downtown Edmonds, which has a lovely small-town feel. I arrived via train at a ridiculously early hour but the front desk folks had no problem checking me in. I got a junior suite, airy, spacious (with windows that open!); microwave, small fridge, coffee, etc.; large clean bathroom, great bed, comfy pull out sofa and two TVs. After two nights on the train I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Breakfast has good hot/cold options in very pleasant dining area; lobby is spacious and front desk folks were great. I gave Sleep Quality a 4 out of 5 only because I heard a train go by once or twice during the night, but I love that anyway.

And absolutely perfect experience from the room to the breakfast to the staff and to the fresh daily baked cookies. Will be back! The views were spectacular too. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Downtown Edmonds, WA, is full of adorable, quaint shops and restaurants. This hotel is within walking distance of all of it, plus the rail station! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; the room was clean and spacious with a fridge and a very comfortable bed; and, the breakfast was quite tasty and fresh (make-your-own waffles)! Great for a personal or business trip. We never heard the train because we simply kept the fan running all night for white noise, which I recommend. You can choose heat, cool, or simply fan.

One of the very nicest hotels we have stayed in. We were planning on going to Seattle for the day but thought that Edmonds was so beautiful and serene that we spent the day there. Would go back to the that hotel and Edmonds again in a heartbeat!

We went to Edmonds for the first time with no idea of what place would be the most comfortable. As far a we are concerned, we chose the best place. The rooms are a good size, the staff is so friendly. Breakfast has a great variety from day to day.It is well maintained so always is fresh. Parking is easily available long with cookies in the lobby. It is a very clean place. Any questions that you have a =re taken care of by the staff. You cannot go wrong is you decide on this Best western!

We wanted something close-by to Shoreline (we were in town visiting familty), and this has been the best choice for us so far. We will definitely be back. It is tucked in behind the main road, so it was quiet. The hot breakfast was also a plus as we travel with a little one & the waffles are her favorite. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting something quiet and close to Shoreline. Edmonds Harbor is also lovely, so a good choice all around. Staff was friendly & we had a quick/easy check-in.

This hotel is close to the ocean, only a block away. It is close to the train station and a number of different restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful, giving me tips on how to take the train and bus to Seattle. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past five years. I have had consistently excellent experiences there. They have a consistently excellent staff and well-maintained facility. Beautiful location near the Edmonds waterfront. Nice stores, museum, restaurants, coffee joints and ferry within easy walking distance.

I stayed here for three nights while attending a class at Compass Courses. The hotel was clean and well priced for me. The included breakfast was what I had in mind and adequate for my needs. My room was nice and well kept. 3rd floor. Just a peek of the ocean out one window, pool out the other. There is some train noise, but it is also close to the station. I don't mind trains or industry. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

No complaints all. A rare event in our travel lives. Best Western in Edmonds, in Winslow, in Hermosa Beach and San Diego CA all provide clean comfort for great $ value. We have recommended BW to all our friends recently and after this experience will continue to do so.

Wonderful hotel in Edmonds WA 1 block from waterfront, couple of blocks and an easy walk to downtown with some great little shops. A wonderful town for a nice weekend, much more laid back than downtown Seattle.

This property has beautiful water views, and is within a few blocks of the ferry and beach. Stay here, and walk onto the ferry for a fun day trip! It's also within walking distance of restaurants and lots of shopping. Parking is free, and the hotel has an elevator. There is a major train track fairly close by, and the train does blow its horn at all hours. A great property as a base of operations for exploring the cool downtown and beach areas of Edmonds. It's not a Plus property, but does the job.

Stayed here during an event. Would come again for a fun weekend in Edmonds. The town is great and this hotel is at a good location. Decent price. Staff is really nice and wants to help all guests enjoy their stay. Rooms are clean. Hotel is slightly outdated and exterior needs a little work but it appeared they were doing that (saw some ladders and outdoor tool stuff). I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Pool area looked nice and clean although we never tried it

Once we finally got our upgrade as a rewards member we found the room had chinese food all over the coffee table and we then decided to check the bed and found a number of hairs and stains on the sheets of the bed. We were given another room but that room was also dirty but the bed seemed clean. With limited rooms available we simply called it a night. We spoke with the front desk staff in the morning and they said they were sorry but very little was done about the situation.

This really is my new Go-To when I'm in Seattle. Staff is so nice and Welcoming! The location is perfect - right by the ferry and tons of great spots in Edmonds.... Hotel is very clean, great breakfast when your on the go. I was kind of snooty about preferring Downtown Seattle when I was in the area, but after staying here in Edmonds a few times - They can keep Downtown. I can get there in a half hour so who needs the hassle..... Thank's B.W.. Harbor Inn - See ya soon.

They even have two luggage racks plus a table, and sanitize their remote controls. The lobby is so inviting with plenty of seating and a fireplace, the business center is quiet, they give you coupons for two nice restaurants within walking distance, and even their chafing dishes stay open while you fill your breakfast dishes with an incredible variety of food options.

I'm surprised that this is the highest-rated place in Edmonds. It was okay, but definitely had some high points and low points. The lobby has been very nicely redecorated, and is pleasant and welcoming. Front desk staff was cheerful and helpful. Coffee and hot water for tea/cocoa were always available, as were several types of flavored syrups. Our two queen bed room was spacious, but the mattress on one of the beds was extremely soft and old. There were only a few tiny drawers for our things. The room smelled like people; I don't know how else to describe it. Perhaps the carpets, drapes, and bedding need a thorough cleaning. The drapes weren't quite wide enough to block all of the light from the window. The bathroom included a shelf under the sink, which was much needed, as the vanity was not very wide. A small desk was provided, but no armchair or breakfast table. The granite walls around the shower were three different shades (not intentional, I am sure). Towels were soft. The bars of soap were the tiniest I have ever seen; I'm sure this reduces waste quite a bit. Breakfast was plentiful. In addition to the hot drinks in the adjacent lobby, there was a dispenser with a variety of juices and a pitcher of tomato juice. Each day, a tray held an egg dish, hash brown patties and bacon or sausage. There was also a make-your-own waffle station. Pre-peeled hard boiled eggs were in a refrigerator, as were a few kinds of yogurt. There were a few basic pastries, mini muffins, bread, English muffins and bagels. Instant oatmeal was also offered, along with a nice selection of toppings. The pool and spa are “seasonal”; which meant they were closed when I visited in January. It would be nice for the spa to be covered, so that it can be enjoyed year-round. There was a guest laundry room with one washer and one dryer, costing a dollar each cycle. Guests need to request the key from the front desk, which means that if a guest is using the dryer, someone else cannot start their wash. I did not get a chance to visit the gym, so I cannot report on those facilities. A nice, little business center was provided on the second floor, which held a computer and printer (no charge to print) and a separate work table.

We needed a Room last Minute & even though I do favor Best Westerns, this Inn did not disappoint me at all !! Quaint, Clean & Cozy !! Registration went smooth, Hot Complimentary Breakfast .... and the location was Great if you have time to take in the Business District of Edmonds !! Next time will stay Longer as the Staff gave us a Great Insight of Edmonds !!

Great hotel with very helpful staff in a lovely town. Many great restaurants nearby. Hotel has a good breakfast and tea and coffee are available any time of the day. Clean hotel, suitable for couples/families/business. Great walks available nearby including a walk along the harbor which is really fun at Christmas with many boat owners decorating their boats. we keep coming back.

This Best Western is in a very convenient location near the ferry, a number of restaurants and the downtown area. We can usually depend on a good breakfast bar at Best Western; and, this facility did not disappoint. The beds were comfortable and all of us had a good night's sleep, The only minor drawback to staying in Edmonds is the large number of trains that pass through along the waterfront. Again, just a minor distraction, as a person can usually expect higher noise levels when staying near a city's core.

Great service and location. Easy check in. Quiet. Walking distance to local restaurants and ferry to Kingston. Close to the beach. Nice and helpful staff. Perfect for tourists as well as locals looking for a quick getaway.

The customer service needed improvement. We were awaken early , several times from a faulty phone line. No apologies. We requested a 12 noon check out when we had arrived after midnight, and no one got back to us. Then when we stopped by the front desk, we were told because they were full we'd be granted ten mins only. We won't be back. The internet was also very slow.

Great location close to water and boardwalk. Walkable to downtown. Close to ferry. Great helpful staff. Good hot breakfast.By far my favorite place to stay in Edmonds/Lynwood area. Clean tastefully decorated rooms.

We booked the meeting room at the Harbor Inn for a family bridal shower and were very pleased with the experience. Darlene was very helpful in planning our event, making the setup and cleanup easy. The room is attractive and versatile, and not expensive. We also booked the king suite with fireplace. It was a great and roomy space where we could relax and visit in the evening over a glass of wine. Thank you for making our gathering such a wonderful memory.

This is a great place to stay. It is always clean, comfortable and decorated for the season. We love having breakfast open until 10:30. The staff is always friendly and willing to help with any issue that might have come up. They have a good knowledge of the area with ideas for place to go and places to eat

Picked this hotel for proximity to train station, so didn't have really high expectations, but I was very happy with my stay, far exceeded my expectations. Slept very comfortably, and great service. Highly recommend.

We stayed here based on location and it worked well for our purposes. There was easy access to where we needed to go, plenty of parking, and the hotel is pretty close to the “downtown” part of Edmonds, where there are a lot of shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn't partake of breakfast, but when I went down for coffee the eating area was full. The coffee was pretty good, and was hot and fresh at 4:30am when I left to catch my flight.

We are always happy with our stay at this Best Western. It is located close to a family member that we visit frequently, and we consider this particular hotel as our Home Away From Home. It is located on Puget Sound and is located near several fine restaurants. Shops are just steps away in this charming little town of Edmonds.

Stayed here a few times always good, attentive staff, very good rooms and breakfast good, Staying at front of hotel minimizes noise of trains. Edmonds is a cute town to visit and is also close to Seattle.

This Best Western is a very comfortable place to stay. They serve breakfast. I did not care for the eggs, but the waffles were good. Breakfast cereals were available as well as fresh fruit, toast or bagels. A short walk to the harbor is pleasant and children would love to see all the boats and the birds. The ferry is nearby as well.

Not very good, but better than average, like 3 1/2 if i had to choose. I chose because it seemed to be the best hotel in the area and the most expensive. The front desk was friendly, the complementary breakfast decent, and the bed comfortable. Cannot park by the coned area when in rains. they do offer 24 hour coffee and tea and there are complementary cookies at the front. I understand that they offer discounted passes to a very good exercise facility next door but i was not able to take advantage of it.

Great stay...good amenities...great hot breakfast! Will stay at this hotel in the future. Good local restaurants, especially seafood. Hotel lobby has fresh baked cookies, coffee and tea available 24/7.

We spent a night here while exploring the area north of Seattle. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the necessary facilities , including a fridge. Service was excellent. And the location, both for the ferry and for exploring the downtown area was great. In all a good place to stay while in Edmonds.

This hotel was perfect. We picked it for it's location close to a fishing charter we were taking and found everything about it to be top notch. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast offerings were bountiful. Would recommend to anyone.

This hotel had the most professional and courteous staff of hotels that we have stayed at in the past. The lobby, room, dining area and the overall facility was very nice and clean. The business center for internet use was very nice also. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The area is above Seattle but was very easy to get down to the main areas of Seattle without much hassle with the traffic. would recommend this hotel to everyone. the bed was very comfortable and we got well rested there.
