We had a very pleasent stay at Hotel-Adriatik! The reception area us elegant and welcoming and the indoor pool was a great plaxe to relax. I would especially like to mention Ajsela ate the reception which was very positive and helpfull during our stay.

This is one of the best hotels in Durres.Everything about this hotel is amazing and cured in detail. The staff was great , especially Ajsela at the recepetion. I definitely recommend it!

We had a very nice stay at Hotel Adriatik. The hotel has a unique atmosphere and almost feels like a small museum, with its beautiful paintings and old photographs showing moments from the hotel's and Albania's past. It was really interesting to see these details throughout the hotel. We would also like to mention Ajsela at the reception, who was very kind and always happy to answer our questions about Albanian history. She was very helpful and made us feel welcome during our stay. Overall, a lovely hotel with a lot of history and character. We really enjoyed our experience and would be happy to return.

The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options, and the restaurant was equally impressive. However, what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff and the warm hospitality they provide. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, creating a genuinely pleasant and positive atmosphere throughout the hotel. I would especially like to mention Ajsela at the reception. Despite being young and relatively new to the job, she was extremely professional, kind, attentive, and helpful. She even gave us great recommendations for new places to visit in Albania. Her enthusiasm and hospitality really made a difference. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend Hotel Adriatik to anyone visiting Albania. We would happily come back!

Great hotel. The rooms were quiet and clean. Clean. The staff was very polite and happy to help us. I arrived from Tirana airport, and the drive was 40-45 minutes. Good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Every night we went on a walk seasides, which we enjoyed a lot. I would like to mention Ajsela and Eva who helped me when me and my family checked in the hotel. They made sure to accommodate us properly. Great value for the price and will be back.

I enjoyed my trip to Durres in August. The location was very convenient, they also offered taxi rides ,you just had to let the front desk girls know. I got a lot of help from Ajsela. she showed me nice places to go while in Durres. Highly recommend.

The young man who looks after the beach umbrellas is incredibly hardworking, efficient, and always willing to help. The beach is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Ali, the hotel's security guard, is very polite and professional. The security guard at the hotel entrance is also very attentive and helpful with parking. A lovely hotel particularly geared for families We didn't use the pool but it was large in size and had a separate children's pool and a big slide. The pool was in front of the hotel next to the car park The hotel also had a spa and internal pool. We didn't use that either, nor the tennis courts We spent most of our time on the beach which the hotel is located on. The beach is sandy and the water calm and shallow.. perfect for bathing The sun loungers are complimentary and have waiter service with a push button on each parasol. The food in the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced The service at the hotel and the friendly staff were exceptional and couldn't have done any more to make our stay a pleasure I also wanted to give a big thanks to our room service ladies Flutra and Vjollca who did a fantastic job and were always smiling In relation to Durres itself there is not a huge amount to do or see and the best beaches are much further South in Albania and too far for a day trip However if you are looking for a chilled beach break with a relatively short transfer from the capital Tirana then this resort and this hotel is the place to be

I had a really great experience at this hotel. The location is perfect, right on the beach, which made everything super easy and relaxing. The service was amazing, the staff were friendly and always helpful. One of the best parts was having cocktails brought right to my umbrella on the beach. Such a nice touch. They also have a great pool for kids. If you're thinking about staying in Durres, I wouldn't look anywhere else.

When I first arrived I was off put by the construction on the beach. There was no one to help with the bags upon entry, however, the hotel made it right. They upgraded our room, which is beautiful. The weather and time of year is not the best for a peak stay, but the staff was impeccable. Laundry service was top notch and the spa is beautiful. All of the staff presented with smiles and excellent service. I changed my review based on the quality of the duration of stay.

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the Adriatik in mid October. The hotel is imposing and in a terrific location for the beach, bars and restaurants. The hotel team members were engaging and helpful with particularly good support from reception. The rooms are an excellent size and, as with the hotel, immaculately maintained. Breakfasts were plentiful and well presented. Particular thanks to Bubba for her cheerful and attentive service. Highly recommended for any visit to Albania.

Loved our one night stay at Adriatik Hotel in Plazh Durres. First the reception is outstanding, helpful, accommodating. They showed us the room before we booked it, to make sure it was up to our expectations. The room is clean spacious and the view of Adriatic sea from the wall size window is excellent. From the room you can hear the soothing sound of sea waves at night, it's incredible. I also want to mention the excellent dinner and also breakfast selection. Full breakfast with, literally, hundred of choices of food and drinks included in the price. Thank you to all staff, we will come back next time we are back in Albania. Odeta.

A very nice hotel, friendly staff fluent in English. Location along the Adriatic is superb. My room was clean, spacious enough and around the hotel in general quiet. Breakfast and other meals were well prepared.

We had a great week at this hotel. The location is perfect, right on the most amazing beach which is beautiful and by all restaurants. Hotel is lovely. Common areas very nice. Bedrooms quite dated, we stayed in superior twin. View was amazing, shame they don't have balcony though, easily could be made into a Juliette balcony if they spent money on it. Very clean and our cleaner Brita was lovely and very helpful to us. Bathroom very dated and shower just about worked but apart from that it was all lovely. We found breakfast ok, quite basic for 5 star hotel but adequate. Reception team so helpful every time, big shout out to Ava who was so helpful every day. They have a what app so whatever you need they are on it very quickly. We would definitely come back for a break in the sun.

Staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly . In particular one of the team from the pool bar (Robert) was especially helpful and attentive . The pool was strangely at the front of the hotel with plenty of sun loungers and bar service, as well as toilets . Prices are reasonable, bar/snack food such as pizza and fries were available too . We stayed in one of the best rooms with an outside sea view balcony . There were 2 sun loungers but no chairs . Chairs would have enhanced the experience. The room was a good size with a large super king bed , 2 sofas and a coffee table. Plenty of storage and well decorated . The TV only had one English speaking TV channel (BBC news) it would be nice to have sone UK or US channels . The bathroom was an average size with a jacuzzi bath with shower . The shower head did not position well and a large walk in shower with rain fall shower would be a significant improvement. The chamber maids were very good and cleaned the rooms early and stocked the fridge in the room with plenty of bottled water . Breakfast - mostly Albanian style with an egg/omelette station . Could do with having toast and some more international options such as bacon, baked beans, mushrooms and hash browns . Location - this is located on a beach front with many bars and restaurants locally but a few miles from any main location such as Durrës or Golem Overall a nice hotel but room for improvement

Hotel is well situated with beach access and nice outdoor pool. Good spa and restaurant. Roof top bar.The rooms were very well cleaned by staff daily. Every hotel should have an “Ali “ who made us feel welcome and nothing was too much.

Stayed here for a couple nights and honestly had a great experience. The place was clean, the room was comfortable, and everything felt well taken care of. What stood out the most though was the service—Danny, the bellman, really made things easy for us. He helped with our bags, gave us directions, and even suggested a couple of restaurants that turned out to be excellent. It's small touches like that that make a stay memorable. Overall, the hotel felt welcoming, convenient, and worth the price. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town.

Amazing vibe and relaxing setting. The staff are an asset. Eva at reception is a pleasure and can not do enough. Also the young boy who greets you as you enter always ready to help. Nice hotel where we rented a junior suite (2 adults and 1 teenager). It seems that much of the original charm of the hotel has been preserved. The suite was nice with good closet space, but the bathroom was a bit small, with the shower inside the bathtub. The teenager's bed was a sofa, which is probably better suited for small children than for a teenager. The pillows were very hard. Small balcony with space for only 2 people. No place to hang wet swimwear. The spa area was very nice, with a lovely indoor heated pool. The gym was small but adequately equipped. Breakfast was okay. Lacking a bit to meet international standards. Large outdoor pool area. The area around the pool needs an upgrade, and the wooden sunbeds need sanding and painting. The bar area also needs a proper upgrade. Very good food in the restaurant, both for lunch and dinner. Good service from the staff. Private beach for the hotel. The sunbeds were a bit worn, but there was good spacing between them. Excellent service from the beach manager, Dino, who was very accommodating. Before staying at the hotel, we rented sunbeds here for almost 14 days, and he was just as service-minded then, even though we weren't hotel guests. Beach service was excellent. Quick and friendly waiters. There were guards on the beach to ensure that vendors and others didn't disturb the guests. New rooftop bar with good drinks and a beautiful view. Great service. All in all, a nice hotel with good facilities. Some areas need upgrades, but that doesn't significantly affect the overall impression. Can definitely recommend the hotel.

This hotel is a beautiful hotel with amazing views. The check in process was seamless and everyone that worked there was so friendly! We are from the US and their English was great! The breakfast in the mornings was delicious and I loved trying all the new food! We also ate lunch in their outdoor restaurant and that was good as well. I had the quinoa with grilled veggies and my husband has the chicken and fries. We were there for 2 nights so each day after breakfast, we set up at the beach. Comfy lounge chairs and good umbrella. In the late afternoon we headed to the outdoor pool. Again nice chairs and umbrella and the pool was a perfect temp. We had to leave super early to catch a flight and the checkout process was seamless too. The hotel arranged both transfers to and from the airport which also was perfect. I loved our stay here!!

Lovely clean hotel, with a wonderful view of the sea and beach. The cleaners left the room very clean everyday. Breakfast was excellent. Bars and restaurants are nearby and reasonably priced. The resort was not too busy as we went in May, but weather was lovely and hot.

Difficult to find anything to criticise in this hotel as everything was really good. The ladies on reception were helpful friendly and pleasant. Ali helped to create an enthusiastic and fun atmosphere around the lobby and was v helpful with cases etc. Our room was lovely with a fantastic balcony looking at the sea, It was kept immaculately clean by Lumturie and colleagues. Large private beach with loads of sun beds at the front of the hotel is an enormous pool area again with loads of sun beds. While we were around the pool I noticed the pool guy, I don't know his name but he is one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. Hour after hour in very hot sun he transported heavy wooden sunbeds around on a wheel barrow without ever stopping. The breakfasts in the Adriatik are terrific, huge variety lovely food and helpful staff Nearby are loads of cafes bars restaurants and some small supermarkets. We ate at several restaurants nearby and they were all pretty good particularly serving fish We paid 2500 lek (around £24) for a taxi to the airport. All in all a very good place to stay

This is truly the best hotel I have ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable—especially Jona and Ail, who were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. They made me feel genuinely welcome and well cared for. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

The experience of the Adriatic bw hotel of almost 70 years is visible in the carefully chosen details: from the professionalism of the staff to the delicious dishes with pleasant music. We especially highlight the kindness of Ali Skura (we called him Ali Express), Erisa and Babu and not to forget the young Deni.

I have recently returned from a 7 day stay here with a large group. Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean. Beautiful location right on the beach and near restaurants and bars. It is a short 7 euro taxi ride into the centre of Durres. The food could have been better but to be fair, the kitchen had to deal with bringing 30+ preordered meals out at the same time! The staff were fantastic. It was certainly service with a smile. Special shout out to the waiting staff Admiral, Babu and Gary, the cleaners on floor 1 and Jona and the lovely ladies on reception for organising transport and helping with room key issues! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel was a mixture of extremes. I stayed there for 6 days. The rooms were nice enough (though not enough handrails in the bathroom as is usual with most hotels). The staff were fantastic - Admiral the Breakfast manager and his assistant Babu in particular, as well as all the new breakfast staff and reception and, Ali, who was ever present, who were only too willing to provide the best service they could. The breakfast buffet was good enough with a small selection of cereals, nuts and dried fruit and fresh fruit, as well as various kinds of eggs, cooked to order, and other hot foods and a slecetion of pastries and bread and jams. A mixture of chia and other seeds would have been good. The lunches (from the a la carte menu) were quite big portions but v tasty, eg the Octopus with beans, Prawns in orange sauce, etc. The dinners were generally poor ( in quality or portion size) or else our package meant that we got the cheapest quality or that that is the way it is cooked in Albania. The meat was seasoned but cooked dry, hence turning out as tough as cardboard, eg chicken and chips, pork steak, even the chicken with mushroom sauce was tough. Very few in the group enjoyed eating their meat in that way, but when we asked for a sauce, it wasn't understood what we wanted. The seafood risotto was excellent and so was the fish with vegetables. The facilities were good. I loved the seawater swimming pools. There was a small gym and sauna and treatments.

We had a wonderful stay at the Adriatik Hotel in Durrës. The seaside location is beautiful and adds to the relaxing atmosphere. What really made our stay special was the warm welcome and the exceptional service from the staff. A big compliment to Admiral, who greeted us with a smile every morning at breakfast. He truly pampered us and also provided helpful tips about the region – his enthusiasm was contagious! Babu also deserves a special mention. She may be a bit quieter, but her dedication and attention to detail are remarkable. Nothing escaped her notice, and she did everything to make sure guests were never lacking anything. And finally, a heartfelt thank-you to Ali, who took great care of us from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay. Thanks to him, we felt welcome and looked after throughout. In short: highly recommended for anyone looking for a carefree and warm-hearted stay by the coast! The Executive Sea View room was clean and well-maintained, though the bathroom was a bit small. The hotel is a bit older and will likely need some renovations in the future to keep up with evolving 5-star standards and growing competition.

I felt that the Adriatik was a home away from home. Admiral and his staff at breakfast incredibly kind, treating each guest as royalty. Eva and Ali at reception were so patient and very helpful. Janis, at the spa, was so friendly and conscientious. The hotel faces the sea where people can rest on bean bags or lounge chairs and children can play in the sand. Perfect!

3rd time at the Adriatik Hotel, and 100% satisfied, as always. Never get bored of the sea view from our superior room! Hearing the waves lap against the golden sand each morning was very relaxing. Everything was just perfect, from our arrival to departure... reception staff (Jona, Eva and Erisa) looked after us really well - no request was too much for them! I especially valued their super speedy replies to my questions via hotel's WhatsApp account, prior to arrival - very helpful and reassuring. A later check out time was also appreciated, so my husband could rest in the afternoon, feeling refreshed, ahead of a very late return flight home. Special mention to Sokol, the IT wizz at reception, for printing off our boarding passes when we couldn't on Ryanair's app. Cleaners, Lindita and Drita made sure our room was spick and span every day. And Ali, the security guard, was a treasure! Being Liverpool FC fans, our family wanted to watch the match one afternoon but weren't sure where or how, so Ali came to the rescue! Big screen TV was switched on in a cosy area in the hotel lobby, internet sorted, and we got comfy, enjoying another Reds' victory and getting closer to winning the league! We had lovely meals in the restaurant. Staff (competent Miri in the evenings and friendly Admiral and approachable Babu at breakfast) looked after us like royalty! As did Leonora, serving us coffee during the day, with a smile! I loved my morning runs along the shore - 17 degrees at 7am! We used the gym and pool - both areas well-maintained, clean and inviting. Played tennis also - beautiful location! Felt like pros playing at the US Open, with palm trees cheering us on! And finally, big shout out to hotel's taxi service and the driver, Besard - efficient and timely. We can't wait to return and make more wonderful memories! Faleminderit ❤️.

Lovely hotel,clean and fresh bedroom,food very good.I had one problem where I only had a few hours sleep,for 2 nights,as the room was so hot!!Thought my air con was broken but was informed that heating and air con are centrally controlled and to just turn it off.This did not help so I was given a fan which improved my sleep vastly.10 out of 10 for solving my problem. Very impressed with the friendliness of the staff,nothing was too much trouble. A big shout out for Etleva and Admiral. Returning next year ...looking forward to another good holiday

Great hotel with fantastic staff. The hotel is right at the sea, and offers spacious rooms with great views. Many thanks to Admiral, who made our breakfast wonderful, by offering and serving local specialities. This is exactly what one expects in a 5 star hotel.

We had a fantastic stay! Regarding the room, the staff were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and they generously upgraded us to one of their best rooms for free, which was a wonderful surprise. The breakfast was a highlight – a special thank you to Ms. Babu, who made delicious breakfasts for us, even preparing them in an Indian style, which made us feel very comfortable and at home. Overall, all the staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks must go to Mr. Ali, who went above and beyond to help us throughout our entire trip.

Nice hotel, lovely staff, very friendly. Only issue id say is there is no sound proofing between rooms or above and below. I'm trying to have a restful sleep and can hear people next door and above me. This takes away the point of having a relaxing break at times.. It can also be difficult to contact the front desk from your room, which I don't understand. So that also doesn't help..

Review of Queen Teuta Spa, Albania In my retirement, I fulfilled a dream of traveling with other beauty professionals across Europe to discover some of the most exquisite spas. One of our stops along the Adriatic coast was the Queen Teuta Spa at the Adriatik Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine hospitality and professionalism. They provided a captivating demonstration of the hammam ritual, showcasing not only the technique but also the health and wellness benefits associated with this centuries-old tradition. The session was so well-prepared and inviting that most of our group decided to book private hammam sessions afterward. Each member came out glowing—both from the treatment and the exceptional care they received. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and serene ambiance of the spa left a lasting impression on all of us. This experience was a highlight of our trip, and we've already decided to include Queen Teuta Spa in our next Spaction (Spa and Cuisine Exploration Tour). Fantastic hotel, recently decorated to a high standard but upholding traditions. Very clean, friendly, helpful, professional . would highly recommend . Beautiful sunsets from our balcony. The comfiest sunbeds ever. Delicious food and fresh.

Wonderful hotel. We loved the location - hotel pools & city of Durres out the “front” door and the beach & promenade out the “back”door of the hotel. It's not far from the airport. Staff was awesome - very kind, attentive, and helpful. Check-in and check- out was easy, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was great. It was European style (of course) with tomatoes, lunch meat, cheese, etc., but also cereal, breads, fresh fruit, fruit in syrup, baked goods, etc. The restaurant area is nice & faces the Adriatic. Sunset from the rooftop of the hotel was amazing. (You can get food up there.). Prepare to take lots of evening photos up there! Housekeeping brought clean towels and toiletries daily. We never had a problem getting a beach chair and security personnel were there if you needed help putting up your large umbrella. A desk employee gave us a booklet listing various day trips from the hotel. They set us up with a driver and we went to the country of Montenegro for a day and we really enjoyed it. Tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream places line the long promenade along the sea. Hotel seems to be in a very safe area. We walked around the area day and night and never felt nervous. (We did not rent a car. We walked the length of the promenade daily and also walked around in the city and explored.). My husband and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We organized a workshop at Adriatik Hotel from 16–20 September 2024, and the experience was exceptional. The venue, conveniently located along the Durrës seaside, offered easy access for participants. The facilities were modern and well-equipped, providing spacious rooms with projectors, high-speed internet, and comfortable seating arrangements, ideal for both presentations and group discussions. Breakout rooms were also available for smaller sessions. The technical support team was prompt and efficient, ensuring smooth operation of all audio-visual equipment. Catering services were excellent, with a variety of fresh, well-portioned meals and refreshments catering to different dietary needs. The venue maintained a professional yet welcoming atmosphere, and cleanliness was outstanding. Moreover, the staff was attentive and responsive throughout the event, making the entire process—from setup to conclusion—seamless. Adriatik Hotel provided a productive and comfortable environment for our workshop, and we would gladly consider using it again for future events.

I don't want even to go inside this hotel I was passing by to get some info for a stay a next day can you imagine what kind of welcome I get from a security guy staying outside was shouting and whistling after me I had to comfort him as it is very insulting. I get from him a rude answer it is this way in this place as the people don't understand you . The guy was very thick giza as he put me off for me using any of this hotel facilities even they told me is an VIP place I don't think so VIP hotel employees for money you pay get this service and communication towards the clients. Never ever getting by this place .

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for our family. We wanted a high quality hotel by the beach and we wanted a pool and other facilities, if possible. First, we realised hotels like this are expensive in Durres. We found a deal for the Adriatik Hotel via a booking website, which made the price better. The Adriatik is 5 stars in some ways: the service from the staff at reception, a very good buffet breakfast and the option to order a decent coffee there, the private beach area in front of the hotel where towels are provided and you can order drinks to your sunbed, also the pools with a slide for the kids, a bar, towels provided, helpful staff. The hotel is decorated with photographs of its history and people in traditional Albanian dress, which is nice. There are lots of nice seating areas. I also enjoyed the hotel playing classical piano music (when everyone else is playing pop music). Also there is a restaurant which is very nice and we enjoyed very good food there, from meat to pasta and pizza. We were pleased the hotel had a gym and a spa: we used both and the massage in the spa was excellent. Some aspects of the hotel look a little tired and some are really not 5 star. One of our rooms was a ‘superior room with sea view': it faced the beach, but had no balcony, only tired old windows; the bed and room size were good, but the a/c was old, tired, noisy; and the bathroom was 2 star - very small, an old half size bath, with an old shower attachment on the taps over the bath and poor toiletries. The other room we booked was a standard double with corner sea view and it was better; the bathroom was a little better and it had a balcony. There are dozens of restaurants and bars near the hotel and a fantastic gelateria next door - as good as any in Italy. Durres itself is a nightmare to drive around; and the beach front is very busy. You have city and port views, but the beach sand is soft and the sea is clear and shelves very gently so good for children.

I cannot stress enough the terrible experience I had at this hotel. I stayed there for 3 days, solo trip, it was a business trip, which means I only slept in the hotel and had one lunch and one dinner. Rooms are not cleaned properly, you find hair especially in the bathroom or the sheets. The housekeeping lady, in one of the days, came in to do the refresh of the room while I was in it, and when instead of putting clean glasses because I had used them the night before, she went ahead and washed them in the sink of the bathroom. Shocking!!! At least dont do it in front of the guests.

We payed for a day pass at the pool area. The service was excellent. We are a family of five and needed food and drinks several times during the day. Very friendly staff who were vert quick to serve us. Especially Klejdjan who gave us some extra attention.

We were given a family room with a sea view, very quiet and spacious with a very large comfortable bed. Only thing which could have been improved was the size of the bath. Bedroom and bathroom were kept clean,tidy and topped up daily by Lindt. Breakfast was not an english style but there was plenty to choose and freshly cooked eggs to order. Every day we were given a plate of freshly cut fruit and I had a large glass of fresh orange juice. There are free loungers, parasols and towels on the beach, around the pool and in the spa. All staff were friendly and very helpful. We stayed just before the start of the summer season and it was very tranquil and relaxing.

Yes! The high staff numbers ensured a very attentive and very pleasurable stay. Quality permeates through how everything is done here. It was such a pleasant change to have such engaging staff and have an evident focus on guest-stay enjoyment. My wife's breakfast birthday cake was such a wonderful personalised affair. This was momentous and I cannot thank everyone involved enough for making our last hotel meal so rememberable. It really put the ‘cherry on the cake' for our hotel experience. Comparing this hotel to the rest on the strip is immediately evident. It has spacious gardens unlike any other and seeing the daily preparation of the beach made it stand out in comparison. Recommend using the taxi collection service. The best value for airport etc.

I stayed at the Adriatik for 8 nights. Each morning I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant overlooking the Adriatik sea. The food was delicious. Many options from omelettes, yogurt, cereal, cheese, fresh fruit and more. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. I got to know them well during the week. Paola was very sweet bringing me fruit and cappuccino each day. I will miss the hard working ladies in the restaurant and their wonderful hospitality!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Adriatik with our 9 month old baby. Fantastic beachfront location, excellent customer service across the board and delicious food. We booked the superior room with a sea view, with breakfast included. This was perfect for us (the soothing sound of the waves crashing on the shore provided the perfect white noise for our baby ☺️). Travel cot was provided by the hotel with lovely clean sheets. The room was kept spotlessly clean and well stocked with essential supplies by our lovely housekeeping lady, Lindita. With our booking, we had free access to sun loungers, towels, parking, and even the spa (although we didn't have time make use of the latter sadly). All staff were extremely courteous and helpful, from the porter, to the receptionist, the waiters and housekeeping. Breakfast included a delicious buffet with a lovely variety, including traditional dishes and desserts, and you could also order freshly squeezed orange juice and barista coffee. We also had lunch a couple of times at the hotel restaurant (when we didn't fancy venturing out) and were really impressed with the quality of the food and the fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The spinach and the seafood risottos I had were absolutely divine!! Also, for anyone who hasn't tried the hot beverage “salep”, make sure you try it here for the first time - it is just divine (you won't want to have it anywhere else after this). I could go on, but all in all I am pleased to say this really was a terrific stay and worth every penny - we plan to visit again in September!

My husband and I spent a weekend at the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon. It was a fantastic stay! Impeccable service, they made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable, they decorated the room for us in a very special way and the food from their restaurant was out of this world. We had a very short stay but it definitely made an impression and we'd love to come back again. Very well located, safe, near local grocery shops. The only thing I'd say is the outside pool was empty during out stay (which was not necessarily a deal breaker, I just think they could've added this info somewhere during booking / confirmation). 11 out of 10.

The staff at the hotel is very service minded and very helpful, especially Jona at the reception. We had the luck to get upgraded and got a lovely room with balcony and view against the see. The room was very clean, and the hotel made a fantastic welcome to celebrate our anniversary. We give the hotel our very best review!!

We always like to visit a new country for our wedding anniversary each year. Until around 30 years ago, Albania was as remote as North Korea, so it was a novelty to visit this country. On the downside, the infrastructure is challenging. There are no railways, metros or trams, The buses are unreliable and the taxis are expensive. On the upside, the hotel was excellent, the resort was good, eating out was cheap and the front line staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. We stayed in one of the best hotel tooms we've ever stayed in, for around the price of a budget hotel in Britain. Albania hopes to join the EU soon. There is a little way to go, but they are heading in the right direction and would highly recommend Albania and the Adriatik Hotel before it is discovered by mass tourists from Northern Europe.

The hotel Adriatic is a hidden gem and one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. From arrival to departure everything was wonderful. The staff at reception, waiters and cleaning staff were so friendly and attentive. The a la carte restaurant was fabulous. The breakfast selection was an interesting mixture of traditional and usual eggs and bacon etc. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with beautiful linen and very comfortable beds. It is very quiet as there is only a pedestrian and cycle path between the hotel and the sea. We were here at the end of the summer season so it was relatively quiet but not totally dead. We so enjoyed our stay that we extended our initial stay and came back for a night before departure. Highly recommend !

Great hotel in front of the sea. 40 minutes from Tirana they are one of the best hotel a Durazzo for what they offer and their position. The restaurant offer to you good meal and good service. Flat pasta with sea food great

We stayed at Adriatik for 3 nights! We had a junior ocean view suite. The staff is great, from Nevres at reception, to Ali in Main area along with Kledi at the beach and Lindita in housekeeping. The guys at the pool were all pleasant too. Looking forward to returning with more family and friends one day in the future!

Well worth a visit. Full attention from the staff and great food. More quiet compared to closer to Durrës city. Perfectly situated on the beach with plenty of eating/drinking options close by. June was a great time to visit, before peak holiday season in July. Great saltwater pool in the front garden

Super amazing hotel with the best customer service. The room was clean and spacious with amazing sea view & balcony. You have everything you need in the hotel. Great restaurant with super delicious food. Breakfast in room or buffet breakfast either one is yum! The lunch the dinner at the restaurant is amazing. We had dinner and the food was super delicious. Adriatik tava is a must try. You have different activities during the day and you will never get bored. Beautiful beach to enjoy and the sunset are spectacular. The pool is so much fun and is with sea water. You can enjoy the Spa with different kind of services. I got the chance to a treatment for my face at Tueta Spa. Feelt so relaxed. We also have a tour to explore Durres with Travel2Albania, is agency is in the hotel and you can have different tours in few cities. Such a great experience to learn more about the culture and explore. I highly recommend to have a stay in this hotel because everything was beyond my expectations.

Pro's - Great rooms - Clean hotel - Lunch & dinner menu was great - Staff are very friendly - Area feels VERY safe Con's - The beach area is under development & the pool area was primarily closed - Take a beach towel, their's are tiny! - Breakfast is not their strong point, so go out to one of the many places located next to the hotel - Locals in general are not fully versed in English - Hotel transfers are EXPENSIVE, just get hotels to call a taxi. To Durres is should cost approx €7 and to the airport is €27. Jump in a taxi at the airport, it's very safe. Improvements - List if items are veggie, vegan, etc. - Provide different types of milk

We had an AMAZING stay at the Adriatic hotel, where everything was PERFECT from day one! Staff were incredibly attentive to detail, very friendly and always smiling! Our booking enquiries via what's app were answered super promptly, which made the whole booking experience super easy and straight forward. Eva, Jona and other reception staff looked after our every need in such a professional, caring way, making us feel really special! No ask was too big for them. Restaurant staff, from Mirjeta and Franceska at breakfast to Uan in the evening waited on us like we were royalty! Food was super delicious, fresh and immaculately and creatively presented. Our room was spacious, clean and with an amazing view of the Adriatic sea which left us speechless on our first morning, as we drew back the curtains! For a moment, we thought we'd been transported to a bay in Florida or California - it was that impressive! Our son enjoyed spending time in the gym, whilst my husband and I relaxed in the indoor pool, after a morning run along the beach, and even had a fun game of tennis on the hotel's very own tennis court surrounded by palm trees - beautiful location for a match when the sun is shining! The centre of Durres is only 10-15 mins bus ride from the hotel, with the nearest bus stop located only yards away from the hotel entrance. We made use of the hotel's airport taxi service - their driver, Shkelqim was friendly, with 30+ years of driving experience, and so accommodating, picking us up at the most inconvenient hour of 3am to drop us off at Rinas airport for an early 6am flight back home! There's so much more deserving praise we'd like to lavish upon this hotel, yet our words would fail to do it justice. You've got to experience it for yourself. Best hotel of Albania , no doubt. The hotel restaurant is really amazing, nice people working at the hotel. Great ocean view from the balcony. You can book luxury taxi at the hotel to bring you to the airport for reduced price. Would love to visit it again in the future.

This hotel might have been a 5* hotel like 30-40 years ago... now it only hits a weak 3* hotel. It is very outdated, real communist style hotel, food is not good, (you can get better in a canteen) breakfast had items that was spoiled. Bathroom was nowhere near a 5 star, it was old and was basically "screaming" for renovation. Beach is horrible with that dirtybrown sand, that I would expect to have on buildingsites + all that trash and garbage in the water... though that is an overall issue in Albania. Pool was next to the parking lot, and all the appartmant houses around had a premier plan view on it. Only good thing was the personal, who were very nice and helpful, and the beachbar, where they made good drinks. Not recommend.

The staff was so helpful and attentive, especially Ali who met us at the front door and made sure everything was taken care of for our visit. We scheduled an airport pickup/drop off which was super convenient. Our room was clean, spacious and refreshed every day. The pool and beach areas also exceeded our expectation.

Where to start and not to make a mistake... Location - almost at the end of the place, to get there you need to make your way through a road that is used not only by vehicles, but also by pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, carriages, (yes, yes carriages!). Anyone who has ever visited Albania is already familiar with the way to drive there, including or excluding traffic, so every meter you need to drive to the location is an additional stress. The building is large, without unnecessary and tasteless ornaments on the fasade Interior - spacious, bright, decorated according to the standards of the nineties (old school) Rooms - spacious and clean with enough storage space (until you start with the details, mold in the bathroom, parts of the wardrobe falling off, curtains torn in places, damaged lamps, stains on the carpet, cushions on the terrace keep memories of previous guests) The mini bar in the room - the worst ever seen! Two (plastic) water bottles! Breakfast - a wide range of offers, but ... problem number 1. considering that guests are offered omelets preparation on the spot, as soon as you enter the room, the smell of fried oil prevails, which of course you carry with you for at least the next hour, problem number 2. bread is you cut yourself ... oops! the smallest problem is that the cutting takes time and that you wait in line, but what about hygienic conditions, touching the bread...problem number 3. thermal preparation and flavors of certain foods, most often overfired and tasteless The food in the restaurant in general - poorly prepared, no care is taken with the ingredients, so instead of risotto you get rice porridge, the meat is dried out and you feel like you are chewing a car tire, the portion size is insufficient, and the price is overpriced. The staff - the main problem is not knowing foreign languages! you will communicate more easily by waving your arms and legs than by speaking. Problem number two is the arrogance of some employees (the guy who brings in the bags after he was late to meet us, you allowed him to comment that we were too fast, and then you allowed him to accuse me that it was my fault that in addition to my luggage, which he was carrying, in someone else's also found my room). On the receipts, you often find items that you did not order... And finally a spectacle! if you don't pay with banknotes in the national currency or by card - take care! We had an unpleasant situation in which the staff from the beach bar allowed themselves: 1. forming a special exchange rate EUR / LEK + 2. keeping the tip in the amount of 30% of the bill + 3. insisting that we are wrong and making fun of us. The situation was resolved peacefully with mathematical proof. Too bad! It could have been a completely different story, more beautiful and pleasant, such an experience that should be forgotten as soon as possible....

The service at the restaurant is terrible. The food was very good but the service is very slow. Don't be surprised to come down to breakfast or go for dinner and the tables haven't been set out properly with knives, forks and napkins. They would always forget to bring you a drinks menu at lunch time or evening. Waiters are so slow to bring menus. You can be waiting for 20 minutes before somebody takes your order. It's the same when you want to settle your bill. Do not be fooled by the hotel website or any other website saying the hotel has a private beach. It does not. The hotel rent the sun beds to the public for a small fee and once they are gone they are gone. Guests do not take priority! I went down to the beach with my young son. We sat under what we thought was an unoccupied umbrella with beds (there was no sign anyone had reserved them). We were there for over 2 hours before a very large family (not hotel guests) came and told us they had reserved the umbrella and beds + 3 other umbrellas. A guy working at the hotel came over to me and started arguing with me. I explained that I was a guest at the hotel, I have been here a long time, there was no reserved sign and that I am paying a lot of money to stay at the hotel and he should prioritise guests over anyone else. In the end I did not move but clearly this shows that the hotel does not prioritise their guests. The kids club is non existent as well. On our last night in the hotel there was a wedding being held. The party went on until 5am below our room. The bass from the music was so loud that the room was vibrating. It's wonderful when people get married but not when your room sounds like a night club and you have a 6 year old son who hasn't slept all night and you have work the day after. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the front of house reception who appeared not to care at all and no apology was given. We told them that we were not willing to pay for the final night, to which they made us pay and said that they would rather have a bad review than forgo €214. So here it is. Other than the above the room was clean and the housekeeping service was great. Conclusion: Do not go to this hotel if you are use to great customer service. You won't get it here. With the exception of the concierge and house keeping staff, the entire team should be sent on a training course.

We've been many times in this hotel, during summer holidays and winter too and always had a wonderful experience. This time we spent 12 days there and enjoyed every moment of it. Clean rooms and public areas, polite and professional staff who always respond with a smile. During vacation was also my birthday and was greeted with a lovely surprise by the hotel staff (photo attached), the best thing to start that day! The outside pool is fantastic with it's bar easy to get drinks. The inside pool and SPA are the cherry on top for unforgettable holidays, kids spending time in the inside pool and we enjoying sauna or massages. The inside pool is so quiet and cozy. Restaurants this year had a major revamping in a'la carte offer, the hardest thing is which one to choose :) Breakfast is outstanding with a wide array of food, desserts and beverage choice. Overall very good pricing for all services, and could say even a bargain compared to other options in Albania which are more pricey and you don't get the service paid for. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have just returned from a 10-day stay at this hotel. We did really enjoy our time there and we had very little to complain about. The reception team was always very pleasant and helpful and treated us as very special guests. The restaurant was OK but there a few minor things that need to be looked at. On the last few days, some of the breakfast food was not available, which we assumed was due to a conference taking place at the hotel. The staff were always very obliging but sometimes they did not understand what we were asking e.g. I asked for a bottle of sparkling water and was given still water. On another occasion they completely forgot one of the items that we ordered. Nothing major but irritating and probably resulted in a "Very Good" rating rather than an "Excellent". The other annoying thing was the cost of the Wellness Spa. The charge for a 1 hour massage is Euros 89, which is probably the same price I would pay in London. I didn't see many people using the Spa, which is probably a surprise with these prices.
