Best Western Byron Center

I've stayed on 2 occasions and both were good experiences. Clean room and a restful night sleep. The staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The parking lot is huge and lit up and could fit a bobtail and possibly 2way-4way's. No disappointment here, I'll gladly stay again when passing through.

Based on the latest renovations, I could have given a five-star rating. We liked the very clean feel of non-porous floors, full length mirror, closet with real hangers, luggage rack, small fridge with freezer, a comfortable desk chair, an extra chair with end table, walk-in shower and a comfortable bed. So, the facility itself couldn't be better. However, guest services were quite lacking. The TV channel guide was completely incorrect. We were told that our fridge did not have a freezer and that no TV's in the building got the Detroit Tigers game. Yet, while sitting at the bar, the bartender turned the game on for us. For a two day stay, we were only given one packet of coffee each and only one bottle of water to share. Jeeze, for another 50 cents they could have given us four bottles of water and four cups of coffee to enjoy during our two day stay. I went to the lobby to see if I could find coffee, no one was at the front desk and later when someone appeared, she was too busy to deal with my request. I did find a coffee machine, however, but no insulators for the cups which were piping hot and hard to handle carrying them back up to my room while pressing the button on the elevator and trying to get my key to open the door. There are only two bell carts which for this rather large hotel is very inadequate. You might want to bring your own cart of some sort. The breakfast "warmers" were not working. The eggs were room temp and the strange looking gray links of mystery meat were refrigerator temp. On the positive side, I did have a fresh orange and a toasted bagel.

Wonderful hotel with a great staff and excellent amenities! This hotel is run with very high standards for cleanliness and attention to detail. I stayed 2 nights and had a very restful relaxing stay. This is an excellent property!

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff was kind and helpful from the moment we walked in! We got to our room and noticed it was a single king instead of a queen double (me and my partner are not that friendly!) And the staff immediately fixed the situation for no extra cost. Our room was spacious, spotless clean and comfortable. The towels were hung with care and soft and clean. Of course the shower had great pressure and hot water all morning. In the morning I ran on the treadmill and was on with my day. Theres also tons of shopping right next door and the hotel is directly of the highway. I really enjoyed my stay at this place and will definitely be back!!

Beautiful remodel. It had been several years since we stayed at this hotel, when it was a Baymont. It is 100% better. It looks fresh, bright/light colors. There is a large selection for breakfast. The lobby is inviting to sit and read a book. The staff was great, very welcoming. It's across the street from Tanger Outlet mall, and just 15mins from Gun Lake casino. We come to the area for the casino at least once a month with family and friends. I think this will be our new go-to hotel for the future.

Fantastic place to stay. Room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was nice (but ended too early) and the staff was super friendly.

The elevators were down and I wasn't notified we were placed on the 4th floor and the breakfast wasn't what was promised or stated

Elevators broken during our stay, breakfast very plain, when we arrived construction workers drinking beer outside the main doors in front of check in entrance.

This hotel is very clean and centrally located to everything Grand Rapids has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay.

Bring a cooler fridge isn't cold. Tissue is rough. They clean your room everyday so take all personal items off your bed when you leave for the day. Adjoining restaurant not open-disappointed about that.
