Best Western Cottonwood Inn

I will leave ZERO star if I can. They charged me money after I already paid the hotel without telling me what's the charge for. After I tried to dispute with the credit card company, they came back trying to create stories of bedding damage. Sketchy employee and surroundings, SCAM!!

Bela Vita restaurant connecting to the Best Western is truly the best restaurant in town! The staff is amazing and the food is fresh, hot and delicious! Trust me on this one! Truly worth stopping by! Great bar as well! Fresh pasta, sauces and very reasonable prices!

While I know the staff do the best they can, this hotel was one of the worst I've stayed in. The traffic kept me up and woke me up many times. On top of that, these rooms are in serious need of an upgrade, they do not hold up to the modernized standards I've seen in so many Best Westerns. I don't typically post public reviews, but this was not worth the price or points they were charging, and it was only February when I stayed. I'm sure it is Ben more expensive in the peak months. Next time I'm in the area, I will just camp.

A wonderful place to stay for my week long visit with family. The rooms were comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. And they had an amazing hot breakfast every morning! They had daily fresh hot options (eggs, meat), a waffle maker, freshly made oatmeal, yogurt, a variety of cereals, hard boiled eggs, pastries and breads, a variety of beverages and fruit. They were also very accomodating of my gluten free needs. The location was on a busy street in Cottomwood but set back from the road so there was not road noise. And it was easy getting in and out of the parking area as there was a light right there (important on a busy street!). Convenient to so many stores and only a 30 minute drive from Sedona attractions in one direction and Jermone in the another direction!

This Inn we really enjoyed. It is a nice location and short drive to Jerome or Sedona. Definitely recommend doing the Verde Canyon Railroad close by. Girl at check in was friendly and recommended walking Old Town Cottonwood. That was nice and we found we enjoyed that as well. Room was very clean and breakfast had good selection and warm. Young girl there worked her butt off keeping everything clean and filled. Thank you :)

I had booked 2 rooms and was given the option to have adjoining rooms, which helped out a lot when still wrapping up some decor for the event the next day. Family, FIance, and dog all stayed comfortably here.

Good desk service. We had a long drive to get here. So desk guy gave us upgrade. Very nice room. Clean quiet. Comfortable bed. I think it's funny you need 200 minimum characters of this review. It's a nice hotel room. Hot shower and nice linens.

Great location for the views and priced well to enjoy the Sedona Atmosphere. I never viewed or heard one employee complained about their job. Christine the manager should be very proud of her staff. I have stayed many places and have not always found a great staff at all levels. Thank you, Doug and April and Katy, for going out of your way to keep me comfortable.

This hotel was really nice. The pool and spa looked great but unfortunately it was raining. We requested a bottom room and that was no trouble. Breakfast was lovely and it is easy walking distance to food and amenities. Room was nice, beds and pillows fine. No complaints whatsoever.

was very easy to get to restaurant and the train ride and close to Sedona and gas station and grocery stores. Didn't use the pool it was cloudy the days we were there. The outside area was clean and parking was covered which keep the car cool.

This is a good hotel, nice staff, great breakfast, easy parking, very nice room. Would recommend it. Just a short drive over to Sedona or to Hwy 17 up to the Grand Canyon. And a short trip over to Jerome, a tourist destination on its own.

This is a well located hotel . The front desk was very helpful and courteous. The room opened to parking which made loading and unloading simple. The pool was great although it did not open until 9:00 am . In 115 degree heat if you go to the pool it has to be early! The room was very small and basic. An ok place to stay for one or two nights.

This is a nice hotel to stay in; not fancy but nice. It was within walking distance to restaurants and there was a Starbucks just across the street and a block or so to it's door. Denny's was 2 or 3 blocks away. Beds were comfortable and the room space was adequate for the two of us with a king bed—our room was on the second floor so we had to take our belongings up and down a set of outside stairs ( no elevator). Beautiful tiled pool that was clean and inviting. Tables, chairs, umbrellas and loungers and towels were provided in the pool area. A varied hot breakfast was provided in the morning along with cereals, donut holes, juices, milk & coffee. Hotel staff was pleasant and helpful, especially the woman who hosted the breakfast room—excellent customer skills. When we return, we'll stay here again.

The front desk staff was very helpful at check-in and throughout our stay. We had no problems while we were staying here. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the lady taking care of it kept everything stocked and cleaned the tables several times each meal. Plenty of parking and easy access in and out. Great location within walking distance of several places to eat. Will stay here again if in the area.

So glad to have found this Cottonwood Best Western for our photo shoot in Sedona. Cottonwood is quieter with less traffic than Sedona, while being near enough to get to Sedona's attractions. Cottonwood also has nice riverfront hiking, great shopping, interesting museums and national monuments

The Best Western Cottonwood Inn is our go to hotel in Cottonwood. The accommodations are clean and nice. The staff is inviting and helpful. We will continue to stay at this hotel whenever we go to Cottonwood.

Large clean room, with coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Good choice of free breakfast with efficient staff. A great place to stay whilst visiting route 66, lots of places around to visit, don't miss Jerome, Tuzigoot and Montezuma Castle.

We arrived early Sunday evening and was greeted by the hostess who was super nice. The hotel is a little dated and it appears that all rooms have an exterior entrance. That was convenient as we were able to park our car right outside the door, but lacks in security. We didn't get to try the free breakfast. Overall our stay was good and priced accordingly.

The first thing I look for is cleanliness and the room was very clean - especially the bathroom. Check in was easy and fast. The gentleman there was very nice. The room is a standard room. The tv was a bit small but was fine. All channels came in very clearly and there were A LOT of channels. The water pressure in the shower was good and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel is very nicely located too. We would stay here again.

This hotel is very convenient when visiting Cottonwood and the nearby area. For example, Old Town, the State Park, and the National Monument are just minutes away. Nearby are many choices in restaurants, fun shopping, and sightseeing. This is our second stay here, and we would choose this hotel again. We found no negatives about our stay other than a lack of towel bars.

Arrived at hotel around 2:50 pm to check in and change attire to attend a 4:00 pm wedding. Upon arrival we were notified that the room was not ready and it would be 10 minutes. I alerted the check in staff that we were on a tight schedule and hopefully the room would be ready in ten minutes. Well around 3:40 pm, it was finally ready. Needless to say, we completely missed the wedding ceremony. It is unfortunate that we missed the wedding which we travelled from out of town to be a part of, the BW staff really did not seem to really care and to add a little salt to the wound, they mentioned that we would receive a discount for the delay and we would receive this at check out. NOPE, at check out, they did not have any record of this. So here is to a $200.00 per night room that definitely created lasting memories.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Cottonwood Inn for several nights. It was a perfect location for visiting beautiful places and hiking trails in the area. Our room, second floor on the end, had a wonderful view! The Mexican restaurant right next to the motel, which honors a discount given by Best Western, had delicious food!

This is your average basic roadside hotel. Hot breakfast in the morning, and staff was pleasant. If you are staying here during an off time, it's great. Our first night here, however, came out to $300+, and it was not a $300+ room in my opinion. Other nights or times of the year would be better to get what you pay for.

From the time we arrived to check out all the staff were customer focused. This Best Western of our trip was the first of all the other Best Westerns that we stayed at thanked us for being Platium Members. I was beginning to think that Best Western wasn't doing that anymore. So, I guess for the 6 nights that we stayed at other Best Westerns customer service was non-existent. This Best Western was the first to tell usabout the promotion to stay at 2 Best Westerns and get a free night. If we had known before hand we would have signed up at the beginning of our trip.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room was clean, the staff was great to work with, helped with every question I had. The location is perfect to explore Jerome, Sedona, and Old Town Cottonwood! I will be back!

Laying in bed I literally saw boogers stuck to the ceiling in a few places. That was disgusting. Using the bathroom was annoying. The exhaust fan makes terrible noises. Turn the tv on before I go to sleep and the volume is cranked up. I tried to turn it down with the remote but it would not turn it down. I turn the lights back on to get my flashlight out of my suitcase and learned the only way to adjust the volume was on the back of the tv. Now I have my flashlight on and a few mosquitoes fly by in the light. I look around the room and the damn things are everywhere IN THE ROOM. Finally tired and I learn I can't turn the tv off with the remote either. Back up losing my chance to go to sleep to turn the tv off. Mosquitoes flying by my head all night. Ticked off knowing there are literally boogers on the ceiling over me and that I'm getting bit by mosquitoes all night which I'm also allergic to. I did not enjoy my stay at this location at all.

GOOD: Check in was great, breakfast was great as they offer oatmeal with lots of different toppings. That is vital to me because I am a vegan and gluten free person. I was SO grateful for that. The service I received about the stupid TV issue was good. The owner apparently buys the cheapest batteries EVER and they last in the remote for mere minutes. BAD: TV was NOT working. Remote didnt work as well as the DirectTV. I had to call and the guy came to check on the issue, then I had to walk over to get a new remote with new batteries. That didn't work longer than a few minutes. The other negative is the bedding is super scratchy. It was really uncomfortable. For the money I had to spend on this run down place was annoying, especially when things didnt work.

The GOOD: Everything worked!! The TV, the pool, the remote, the fridge, the jacuzzi, the parking lot (most had shade fromt he solar panels), the food (Best Western has the best breakfast in the business, their attendants are also the best, they never let me down, clean, plenty of food, wipe tables frequently, friendly, etc.) Restaurant and convenience story and other restaurants walking distance, if you like to drink alcohol, great as you won't have to drive. Location is great. Nothing fancy in the room but not antiquated either. The pool has a nice dark blue tile unlike most pools in AZ, without the rough, scratchy surfacing so your feet will not get scraped. People staying here were mostly tourists. The BAD: Previous guest had broken bottom shelf drink retainer on the door and was not repaired, no biggie, but broken stuff can then end up the hotel taking "incidental" $$ from me,I let them know as soon as I noticed it and called them, they took note of it and all was good, I rather they tell me it is pending fixing as I checkin or fix it before I checkin. No biggie but the room had 2 moths and a mosquito there before we got there. I know the housekeepers tend to keep the doors open, either to air the rooms or for safety reasons when they do their job, but this is an opportunity for bugs to creep in. Bugs like shade too in the AZ heat. Note: This hotel appears to have been an apt complex previously. I was a bit apprehensive as your room door is exposed to the open unlike most modern hotels with 1 main entry (for security reasons), but the door locks were reinforced and the area was quiet and seem safe. Also, it looks like the hotel was remodeled (there were couple of new beams on the balconies not yet painted) and overall is well maintained, kudos to management and staff. Looks like people who work there DO their jobs and do it well. Early morning pool was cleaned up and ready to go. Checking in and out was easy. I WOULD recommend you stay here. For this experience 5 stars!

After taking a train ride we came back to a nice, clean, comfortable room. The shower was a good one too. We had a suite that had our own little patio. It was nice to sit there in the morning. Shower supplies were very good. Love the Argan body bar

I prepaid for this room through the Best Western website. The first thing that happened at check in is they refused to allow me to check in unless they charged me another $20/night. When I asked for a copy of my bill at check out, they refused to provide a copy, telling me that "our rates are private." It appears that they are trying to cover up the extra charge. I'll let my credit card company handle the dispute from here. I wasn't asking for more than to Check in and Out and make sure the charges were correct. Front Desk staff was antagonistic, making me feel like I had caught them at their scam and they were being defensive. Squished some bugs in the upstairs room. Hate to think of the extra company in a downstairs room. Housekeeping skipped our room Had to call out for towels as we had visited the pool but they didn't provide new ones. I usually enjoy staying at Best Western locations. Not sure how this one made the grade, but it should be reconsidered for branding. There are many other choices for lodging in this area. I'll be staying at one of those when I return to this are. I recommend you do also.

Convenient, clean hotel. Very good Mexican restaurant on premises, with full bar. Breakfast at hotel is good. I like that I can get rewards points with BW to get a discounted rate at a hotel in the future. Sign up for Best Western Rewards- it's free.

Friendly, clean, and convenient, a bit pricey but a good value for the area. This is a worker's hotel so expect it to be busy, keep this in mind when it comes to breakfast and check-in. everything was in good working order and the beds were very firm.

Stayed one night with a well behaved dog. I didn't want to drive after experiencing the Wine tasting events. I would stay there next time I'm in Cottonwood. Slept very well on comfortable beds. Which is amazing since I have a bad back. Room was clean, quiet and I felt safe.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. General manager was exceptional. Nice, clean rooms. Just about 20 minutes from Sedona, so you can enjoy Sedona without the sky-high cost of lodging in Sedona. Room had fridge and microwave and new carpet.

My family and I stayed for one night at this Best Western. The room was average sized and comfortable (we had 2 Queen beds). Everything was clean. The pool was clean but a little cool for me. The hot tub was nice with a good temperature to soak in. The next morning, we had breakfast which was average. Food was a bit on the colder side but good enough if you want to save money and eat at the hotel. Not a bad stay if you are passing through.

We had an overall enjoyable stay. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was available each day at the stated time and different each morning. Each employee that helped us was courteous & attentive to our needs. Cottonwood was close to everything that we wanted to do in Sedona without the Sedona pricing. We'd stay here again.

We booked our room at the last minute. Check in was quick and easy. The front desk clerk provided some great suggestions for a late dinner and a breakfast place Room was clean and quiet. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but again the desk clerk provided great instructions on where best to park.

This place was clean, AC was working, we had decent breakfast, staffs were nice and helpful. They have a nice pool (that we did not use) and a functioning laundry facility. This place is close to some good restaurant. There is ample parking.

Great hotel room. Clean Clean Clean!! This property is older style but it's in great condition. The carpet was clean, the paint was fresh, the shower/tub was updated and the tile floor was blemish free, if you travel a lot you know the tile is usually cracked lol. Bed was very comfortable and all the staff was friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.

My sister is visiting, and we did the Verde Canyon Railroad and needed a reputable place to stay overnight after the train ride. The BW Cottonwood Inn had good ratings, so we booked a twin Queen room. It was clean, comfortable, very good Internet, and pleasant staff. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel met our needs for a place to sleep while exploring surrounding areas by Jeep. The rooms are very basic, but you can avoid the absurd Sedona traffic and overall congestion by staying here. Unfortunately, they are charging inflated rates based on the proximity to Sedona. I've never paid $200 a night for a Best Western, but that's the price you pay for coming to this area in the Spring. The breakfast was good enough to get us going and the rooms were clean. I got tired of long restaurant waits in Sedona and there are great dining options in Cottonwood with no wait times.

2.5 star facility but 10 star service. The hotel service is exceptional. The hot breakfast is excellent with many food choices. More important, the cost is much lower than those located in Sedona. I am very happy with our selection. We spent half amount money but had more satisfied stay than other more expensive hotels in our4 day tourist expericence.

We stayed here this week and it is a very good hotel; however, the rates are very exorbitant and too high for the type of hotel. $223 was not worth the stay. Breakfast was good, but the seating is quite lacking. Some people had to stand while they ate. Temporary tables and chairs should be provided. There are plenty of independent hotels in the area so these high rates can be avoided if you shop around.

Stay away. This place was awful. I travel a lot and this dump was the worst of the worst except for a trip to Philadelphia where I found a crack pipe in my room. The staff was absolutely hateful and unhelpful. Check your bill because the will charge you little hidden fees. STAY AWAY!

had issues with alarm clock and lamp on nightstand. Alarm on clock went off when attempting to set time and could not be shut off. USB charging ports on lamp did not work. Maintenance had to replace both units.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The hot tub and pool were working with extra towels on site. The breakfast had a variety of food. Overall, the hotel was fairly quiet and clean. I would stay there again.

Rooms are pretty standard for Best Western. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Good option for the area. The breakfast was a bit of a surprise. You get a $7 voucher per person to use in their sit down restaurant. You have about 10 melas to choose from - pretty decent.

Room was very nice and clean! We originally had a upstairs room and my husbands knees were bothering him, so i requested a downstairs room. Staff was very nice and accommodating..Breakfast was Delicious, nice assortment of food! Would Definitely come back!

This hotel was a good value for the area. Hotel is old but clean. We were 20 min south of Sedona which was fine for us. All rooms have outside enterances, our door had a large gap for cold and insects to enter. Still it was a good value, breakfast was great!

Just what we needed for a getaway mid week. Breakfast was great and the breakfast staff were friendly and kept the area clean and well stocked. Housekeeping Staff were all very friendly in and went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed. The hotel was very clean.

Reviews noted it had been recently renovated but we could not see anything to suggest that was true. They did provide a good breakfast buffet but the room we stayed in had the popcorn ceiling from the 1980's with the door opening to the cold outside. The decorations might have been recently changed but the rooms were dark, the bathroom very small, and the HVAC very noisy. While the rooms are no smoking, we found our neighbor and others smoking outside their rooms with the doors open. Thus our room and others were getting smoke inside each time we opened our door. Finally, they had the strangest pillows. They were miniature sized, maybe half the size of a standard pillow and extremely soft. We tried to put two pillows together to make one but that didn't work.

I was in town for a couple of nights for business. The location is very central and close to everything and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating even though the were very busy and solidly booked.

For some reason, you always know, when you enter your room, you are staying at a BW. That's not a bad thing, necessarily, just that you're staying at a budget hotel one step up from the others whom I will not name. This was true here. You enter, and the bathroom sink is directly on the wall in front of you. The room is simply made up, and a tad dark. But hey, it's clean, and you only want a place to stay anyway. Thus, there's nothing to complain about, and nothing to get excited about, either. One important note however. The room we had (lower level, right next to the pool) was very quiet. BUT, it was wintertime. I wonder if it would be so serene if it was midsummer and families were enjoying poolside activities.

The Best Western in Cottonwood is an ok place to stay. It's a motel so you have to to outside to your room from the front desk or breakfast. The beds were ok. The water pressure was ok. The front desk check in was ok. It is close to the highway. However it's pretty far from old town, if you are interested in a little night life.

It's although it's a little out from the normal big highways that actually is a plus. It's near the crossroads to Jerome and Sedona  as well as very close to Is several national monuments ...Tuzigoot is 15 minutes away, it's near the Verde Valley Railroad and a close drive several other parks, national monuments and places of interest. It's conveniently located near the Cottonwood "Old Town " area. I am a Best Western's rewards member and the staff recognized it immediately and welcomed me. They worked hard to honor my requests, the rooms were clean and nice and had a continental breakfast in the morning it has the usual good stuff of a best western where you make your own waffles and have sausage scrambled egg and fruit things like that I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available.   Is the staff also recommended several outstanding restaurants that were nearby. The room itself had all the space I needed and  a Mini refrigerator and coffee maker. Everything was working just fine and very clean. As I said I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that they could. The hotel was great and made for relaxing stay. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working.  I also am very old school and try to recognize the service staff with tips everyday I stay there. I tip the housekeeping staff and the breakfast staff.  It's the right thing to do.

Staff was friendly and welcoming! Quaint hotel strategically located close to all things amazing in Arizona!! Old Town Cottonwood, if you are a walker you are there in 45 minutes, in car, five minutes! Ghost town, 20 minute drive! Grand Canyon only a couple of hours or less, Flagstaff is just 35 minutes away! Food, stores, restaurants, it is all there outside of your Best Western door, ENJOY!!

The hotel appears to be an older apartment complex. The rooms were a little dated, as well as the outside grounds (although winter could have also given the outside 'dated' appearance with the pool and hot tub closed for the season). The Breakfast was great with lots of food options, the staff was super friendly and helpful and the nightly rate of the room was excellent, given the hotel's closeness to Jerome, old town Cottonwood and Sedona. I would stay again for sure!

This was my first time staying at a Best Western Plus, I usually stay with Hilton hotels. But I would 100000% come back to this hotel. We checked in very late at night, and the night auditor was great. Kind, gave us all the information we needed, and he gave us a very warm welcome. The breakfast, probably the best breakfast I have seen since COVID. A LOT of options, hot and cold. The breakfast attendant said hello to everyone, everything was always stocked, tables were cleaned quickly for the next guest, I was very impressed. And the food was good! Room was the perfect size, water pressure great, The usb's on the lamps didn't work, but we were fine with the outlets, just be prepared. Looking forward to our next trip to Cottonwood to stay here.

Basic clean motel near Sedona. The staff was friendly, room was clean. Good complimentary hot breakfast. Stayed here for vacation in the Red Rocks area near Sedona. The price in Cottonwood is much cheaper than Sedona and a lot less crowded.

Clean room, comfy beds, OK breakfast. If you drive an electric vehicle (EV) and want to plug in to charge, be aware that hotel charges a $10 fee for both hotel guests and non-guests. This fee is NOT mentioned on their website when you are making reservation, or on any paperwork given at checkin or in room - you just find out about it when you ask to use the EV charger. (Only hotel, BW or otherwise, I've ever stayed at in past 3 years that charges their guests!)

Don't forget, this is a motel, but for a motel experience it was very good. If you tend to be cold, ask for additional blankets. There was only a thin blanket. Other than that, this was a decent stay, excellent location with food places all around.

This motel is off the road a bit but there are signs so you wont miss the entrance. Very clean, Roomy and quiet. Cozy and matress was very comfortable. Breakfast is hot and a variety of things to eat was nice. BW is in a very good local for what this area has to offer (State Park, Verde River, old Cottonwood, National Monuments, Verde Rail Road) There is no elevator, make sure if you need a ground floor room, you request it.

Not worth the money or the stay. Motel 6 would be better. Rates outrageous and can only get that fee because of so many traveling. But, most will never give a dime again to BW. Greedy company and lousy hotel.

Typical BW property - overall clean. Rooms has a ton of USB plugs and even a wireless charger plus a fridge and coffee pot. Full breakfast was good. Pool was seasonal, closed Nov 1. Only got 1 day in.

I had had a rotten day, with several travel difficulties. I figured prices in Cottonwood this time of year would be high and availability low, but was pleasantly surprised. I am a BW frequent traveler but this was the first place in some time that has met the standards I was used to. The casitas are highly recommended if you are interested in privacy and quiet. Staff very nice. Beds comfortable. TV adequate. Internet adequate, not spectacular. Good location.

This is a great place to lay your head. We were visiting Jerome and Sedona, we found this gem in the middle. This will be our place to stay qhe. We do our weekends towards Sedona. We did not have the breakfast although it was available because we had our floof with us and did not pay attention til our way out.

It's a bit less expensive that Sedona and a safe, good location with more stores & restaurants nearby. Our room was quiet & at the end of the hall, the breakfast was an excellent buffet with eggs, waffles and other options. The room was clean & the coffee maker worked. It was easy to get to Sedona for an afternoon & supper in "Mile High" Jerome.

I had asked for a first floor room when I made the reservation as I have limited mobility. I got a first floor room but... parking was only available around the side of the bldg, not anywhere near the room. I had to go up and down four steps from the parking area to the walk to my room. The stairs were partially blocked by a car. The guy in the next room could be clearly heard using a normal conversational level. The only place you could see the tv or have enough light to read was in bed, unless you rearranged the furniture which was pretty ratty. And "oh sorry" breakfast is limited due to problems with our supplier. There was a $20 hold for incidentals, in a place with no possible incidentsls available. Way overpriced for what you get.

Ok so I've only written a few reviews in my adult life but, when you travel with a pet you go through a lot of picking through places that will accommodate your stay so that you and your pet(a member of my family) not just an animal to my family. This is the first year that I have tried to travel with a pet, so I wasn't sure what to expect. What I have learned so far, there are some places that even though it is clear that your in a room that's most likely designated for people with pets, but you would never know the rooms are clean they don't smell weird or there's no obvious signs that an animal has been there. Well, BEST WESTERN COTTON WOOD ARIZONA is not one of those places 1. Obvious pet stains on the carpet around the door 2. The room has clearly not been taken care of ie: Ratty shower curtain (like the bottom of it looks like it's been chewed up) Dust everywhere The bedding is supposed to be white, it's white with a definite yellowed color to it and the comforter is flattened and thinned. 3. Stinks! Like mildew smell and other unidentifiable smells 4. Lastly, not sure if it's related to it being a pet designated room but the air conditioner didn't work at all for the majority of our stay. It would just stop working out of nowhere( so our last night there was spent being up half the night being hot). So, save your hard earned money for some place else when visiting the Sedona area. If I could give it less of a rating like -10 I would.

Stay here and save$$$. Great place, very clean, good AC and fast wifi. Is just down the road from Sedona AZ and other great places to see is Arizona. They have a great FREE hot breakfast!!!! The breakfast has hot food of waffles, oatmeal, bagels, and MORE!!!! The coffee is good.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was given a room in the “ casitas “ section. Very nice spacious room. Very comfortable with its own private walled in patio. Great bed, quiet, CLEAN. Pricey on weekends as is every where else. I would stay here again

This hotel is a diamond in the rough. The front desk staff is very personable. The cleaning staff does an amazing job. They clean daily and replenish the soaps, towels, etc. The refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig worked well. The room had a balcony, which was nice. The hotel also has an electric car facility for guests, which was a great surprise. It is conveniently located near Main Street with great restaurants, Sedona, Page, and the Verde Canyon Railroad. Ask the front desk to make your train arrangements.

Every body at BW was amazingly accommodating and nice. I hope the company takes good care of them! Kitchen staff were great, took care of my egg sandwich even though it was not part of their duty. RIGHT ON!!

If you are going for the train ride, book your train tickets separately and book your hotel thru a website other than calling hotel directly and asking for train/hotel package deal. There is no deal other than paying top dollar for a hotel that's not worth it.

The property was decent but does need a major upgrade, rooms feel like they or still in the 80's there was no hot water during my 2 day stay, and the ac unit was very loud, but cleaning service was good but the female front desk staff was rude during check in

This was as close to an ideal stay as I've had in this property class. From the start, the staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. The check-in process was efficient and highly personal. I received all the amenities as a Diamond member that I was entitled to and even more. The urn of fresh lemon-infused water in the lobby was welcome on this 100+ day in the desert. The room (I was in a Casita suite) was near flawless in condition, cleanliness, and decor with a private patio. I was shocked that both the pool (pristine and seemingly new) and jacuzzi spa were operating and open until 10 pm. Even the upscale resort I had just left in Hawaii did not offer the same. Most hotels have still not opened their spas and/or are operating pools on limited hours. Likewise, the breakfast was self-serve buffet style "like the old days" and all items were available as before COVID and were fresh and of high quality. I had no complaints at all during my stay and didn't need a thing. Parking was plentiful and the location is excellent at the crossroads of the two major routes in the area. The things I demand the most for a proper stay were all present: good quality sleep with a quiet, dark room and comfortable bed, and water adequately hot with high pressure. Internet was reliable throughout the property. The price was right, as well, and I received all the promised points and bonuses that Best Western offers (and is quite generous with compared to other chains). I would absolutely stay there again.

Great stay except for the charging at checkout. Charged $2 extra for no good reason. Could have been for a lot more. Clerk didn't really know what the damage was but said it MIGHT have been for makeup left on a was clothe. I got the impression they can charge whatever they feel like charging.

For being a national hotel chain, I expected more! My wife was awoken by a bug crawling on her. The following evening while I was watching tv there was another bug crawling across the pillows. It was late so I killed it and reported it in the morning. All I was told was that I should have reported it the previous evening. Like I said, it was late. Won't stay there again.

My friend and I wanted a cheaper alternative then Sedona. My fiend has BW rewards that is why we picked it. BW in cottonwood is A Modest Motel, Older but clean. The front desk people were great and breakfast worker was also very helpful. They call it a continental breakfast, but offered a variety of cold and hot options. That was great! Bed was too soft and they really should invest in better pillows. Mexican Restaurant on property (not that good) and clean pool. Overall a good stay for a few days.

Old motel located at the junction of Route 260 and 89A. Room was clean, bed was hard, breakfast was marginal at best. Front Desk person was not very pleasant when we asked for a late checkout. They did have covered parking which was a plus. We will not be returning.

The front desk, dinning area, pool, and room are all well kept and clean. Sanitizing stations available. Close to stores and restaurants. Hot breakfast. Front desk (Doug) and the breakfast guy were great and helpful. Will be back!

We have had trouble with card keys twice at this location. Otherwise a very good place to stay while visiting Cottonwood, Sedona and Jerome AZ. Prices are almost double in Sedona which is only 19 miles from Cottonwood so we prefer to stay at the Best Western in Cottonwood.

We stayed in Cottonwood, 5/14 - 5/17. Check in, at 2 am, was quick and easy. The Front Desk Agent, Kim, was super friendly and completely focused on getting us checked in comfortably. Night Auditors can be tricky to deal with at these hours. Some Agents are dismissive, half awake, or just not there. NOT our experience. Kim got us in our room in under 15 minutes! After 14 hours of flying/car travel - we really appreciated Kim's flawless after hours check in! Our room was great! The room was clean, and nothing wrong with bedding, room amenities, etc. Beds were comfortable, our room faced the parking lot; but there were no noise issues. We had a small dog with us, and I appreciated the first floor room. The staff here is dog friendly. I've been to plenty of places where guests are almost punished for bring a dog along. I also never ran into another dog on the property. Maybe the hotel didn't have any other pups there or the rooms were strategically placed. We loved our location: Room #106 Walking our dog at Hotels is sometimes challenging, given hotel grounds/location. At this site, we could walk the property safely, and were surrounded by other businesses and parking lots. We were able to walk away from high traffic areas; and there was ground/grass for dog pooping/owner pick up. The hotel has plenty of (emptied) trash receptacles on the property; and a clean outdoor courtyard around the pool with tables and benches. The pool is closed until June, and was clearly advertised as such. This was not a deterrent for us at all. We cut our stay short one night. We planned to have a small bday party for my mom, and the other Motel indicated we would need to be registered guests. Best Western handled the 1 night cancelation w/out issue. Breakfast was great, with a variety of breads, cereals, oatmeal, a hot entree (e.g., sausage, biscuits and gravy), waffles, coffee (including fresh decaf), tea and juice. KUDOS to Nicole and Best Western for having Almond Milk!! This Vegan thanks you!! I was able to eat oatmeal, breads, fruit, and dry cereal. The food was fresh and stocked! The dining area was spotless! The sitting area for breakfast is not crowded, and tables are a decent distance away from each other. Nicole was working the days we were there. Nicole is exceptionally attentive to dining occupancy and clean up. She is very friendly as well. It's refreshing to interact with a kind and helpful person when you are tired and hungry! The Front Desk gave us a late check out at Noon. Again, up to this point, everything we've asked for, we've gotten; and ALWAYS handled with such courtesy and genuine pride in the BW Brand - the staff are excellent! We go to the View Motel for Sunday. My sister-in-law and nephew stayed there 5/14 - 5/17. Though the View denies vehemently they said this... the Night Agent told me/my nephew they were modifying policy for a 1:1 outside guest ratio in the pool and BBQ areas. She was going to check; but she specifically said it should be ok for us to be a group of 10. It was not ok!! I'll capture that in their review. But now, I had to find a room; and try to find space for this gathering. I called back to Best Western and thankfully, was able to keep Room 106. I asked about renting the Meeting facility. At the last minute, your staff cleaned and opened the Meeting Room up for us! This worked better than the outside pool BBQ. Mom's 89 - indoor seating was the best option! Your manager, Tracey (?), literally saved the day! She made it happen! Barbara got the room cleaned/ready in under an hour. While Best Western expects 100% Customer Service from their employees, KIM, TRACEY, BARBARA, NICOLE, TREIGH(?), and DOUG are exceptional at what they do. You cannot train consistent, sincere, caring hospitality. They exceeded at treating us like friends/family! First time for years seeing Mom; and super emotional, given COVID. Thank you, Best Western. We are SO very grateful for all your Staff did for us!!

A/C sounded like a jet plane landing in the room making sleep impossible. plan change required leaving a day early, but still charged for that extra day, did not replenish coffee and towels, left bathroom untouched. Check in agent anything but friendly. Stayed here 2x before and had nice room, this time it looked like it was a homeless camp.

This whole experience met all of my expectations. I would definitely stay there again! It is not often that there isn't something that is amiss but, this stay at this motel was a flawless experience. I would recommend to any and all!

Good location, friendly staff and great hot breakfast with bacon, eggs and waffles. The rooms are a bit dated and could use and update but otherwise we had a nice experience here. Located near Jerome, Clarksdale and Toozigoot Park.

No elevator to reach rooms with king beds. Room was clean with comfortable bed but plumping reflected age of the hotel. Pool wasn't available..probably due to COVID. Price was about $100 a night using BW site.

We had chosen this hotel based on other reviews and good experiences with Best Westerns in the past. The first impression you gets when entering the hotel is this is going to be a quaint little old style motel experience. The first disappointment we had was being notified that the pool was not open as stated on their website. We were told that this was due to Covid. It looks like the pool hasn't been open for quite some time. It was drained and empty. It looks as though like they were repairing it. The pool that we stayed at in Phoenix on our last night was open so we're not really sure why this would be the case. The only common area at the hotel that was open was a concrete round picnic table and a bench that were littered with ashtrays and cigarette butts. This may be good for those that smoke, but for those of us that don't this was a huge turn off. At check-in they asked if we would like to have our room serviced. We said yes we would like to have our room serviced. The very next day we came back around 4:30 PM from hiking in Sedona to find a room had not been serviced. We found one of the cleaning personnel and they gave us some towels and shampoo. We thought maybe this was a one time occurrence. The second time this happened was two days later. We came back from hiking only to find our garbage still full and no towels or toiletries. We called down to the front desk and we were told we're sorry but the cleaning personnel went home. If you'd like to come down to the front desk we can give you some shampoo and towels. I thought that was a very poor response to the service staff not doing their job. Any other hotel I've ever stayed in would have brought the shampoo and towels to the room. On our last night of the stay we came back to our room and found our beds made but again no towels and no toiletries. The staff did not seem to care that they're cleaning personnel was not doing their job. They had no real care or concern about the guests satisfaction or experience. The reviews of this hotel say that it is quiet. I can honestly tell you it is far from quiet. We heard traffic noise and other noises all hours of the night. The door to our room which was 209, did not even close completely. It was about a half inch gap all the way around the door. We could see light shining through in the morning. On a positive note which is the only one. The breakfast staff was very friendly and did a fantastic job. Maybe the hotel would be better if they were running it instead.

I was hesitant in booking a place not IN Sedona but the location of this hotel was perfect! The drive out to Sedona took about 20 minutes and we didn't have to deal with the crazy town traffic. Cottonwood is also close to Jerome, another great day destination!

We reserved 2 rooms for our stay, a 2 queen room for $157 per night and a king suite for $215. When we arrived we were assigned a regular king room with no rate reduction. Manager would not reduce the rate charged or provide the room we reserved.

We opted to stay here as it is close to Sedona but with much more reasonable prices. We were immediately welcomed by the staff at the front desk with a pleasant smile and speedy check-in. The casita room was quiet and clean. The only recommendation would be a few more pillows on the bed but really not a complaint. The breakfast was typical fare but also served by a very pleasant staff member. I would stay here again.

COVID-19 compliant, Non-Smoking, and extremely helpful when additional items needed (tissue). Nice new Solar for shade parking - still a bit of construction - ie: lot restriping. Casitas Suites also available for family. Centrally located at Hwy mergers; convenient to food.

We had a great stay. Clean, comfortable. They even have a hot breakfast during COVID. Everything is prepared and served properly by staff in PPE. Staff was also very friendly and made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Cottonwood just off Main St. There is a Mexican restaurant just in front of the hotel, with other nice restaurants close by. They are serving full breakfast's that you can eat in your room. The pool and hot tub are closed in the winter.

The location is convenient but very noisy. I saw no security with very sketchy thug types roaming the lot and checking out cars. When I asked to look at a room they refused to show me one. Staff did not maintain social distancing requirements allowing customers to crowd around each other. They didn't even have fresh coffee in the lobby. Not recommended.

The rooms were very clean. We were offered a full menu hot and cold breakfast. For safety concerns, the hostess prepared our breakfast plates, put them on a tray and we went back to our rooms to eat. The employees went above and beyond to make our stay very enjoyable.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times now and each time was great. The staff is always helpful and breakfast was good. If you ever need a hotel this is the one. They will try to make it the best for you.

We were able to sleep very, very well. The room was comfortable and we were able to set the temp at a good temperature. The hot breakfast was wonderful, especially during these times that have been interrupted by COVID. We were given the choice of several items that were tasty and filling.

We chose the hotel for the central location and the pictures looked good. The staff is nice, helpful and the breakfast is fine. The rooms leave a lot to be desired. They are in desperate need of upgrading and feel dark and dingy from the minute you walk through the door. Although they might be clean, they have the feel of walking into room that's 50 years old. In my room the heater and tv didn't work and needed attention from maintenance. I can't believe they don't have a simple checklist to insure everything is in operational condition before filling a room. The card readers for the door are old tech and the cards demagnetize easily which is a hassle going to the front desk for more, happened 3x to us. For being on the upper end of the price scale for the area they're on the lower end of quality. I'll try somewhere else or Sedona next time.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Very quiet room, Good practice to avoid covid masks, social distance, breakfast area....Good location to go to Sedona, Jerome, interstate. Staff was very helpful at front desk. They also had someone in breakfast room getting what you wanted for breakfast due to covid.

Best Covid restrictions we've seen! Staff all had masks worn properly - no noses visible! Social Distancing was strictly enforced! Breakfast was To-Go, and one couple at a time were allowed into the serving area, served by a staff member, and then took breakfast back to their room. Would visit this location again in a heartbeat.

Brought son and grandson for an overnight trip. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and everything worked properly. I did have a problem with my door key and had to get them changed numerous times. I would stay there again...

We arrived too early for check-in but asked the Front Desk agent if she could call us when the room was ready. She barely acknowledged me and did not even bother to see if she had a room ready. She was to busy sorting hotel keys to be bothered with me. We went out for the afternoon and came back around 5. Never got a phone call about the room being ready! Had a first floor room that absolutely stunk of air freshener. We had to keep the door open to try to air it out. The maids cart sat outside our room for more than an hour after we checked in. I don't know why it could not have been moved. We had to stop by the front desk with our license plate info and there was a young man at the desk talking on and on about a vacation in Vegas and ignored us. We went back to the room and called them instead of waiting. Breakfast had a long line and only one person working. Because of Covid, dishes were prepared for each guest and we had to take it back to our rooms. Food looked terrible so we only had coffee but we had a long wait. There should have been at least 2 people doing breakfast service. For the rate we paid ($200/night) we expected better service. We had just stayed at a resort in Sedona for $10 less and accommodations were impeccable. Would not recommend.

There was a bit of a delay in checking in. And their pet policy pricing on the site is not as specific as it should be. Says "$25+tax pet fee per night. 2 dogs max per room" I understood that as $25 per night. But they said that means $25 per night per dog. So I was charged $100 for my 2 small dogs for my 2 night stay. When I gave a review with Best Western, Christine answered me within a day saying that she would refund me $50 seeing as the policy was not as clear as it should be on the website. As far as the stay, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. During the pandemic, they seem to be doing a great job in cleaning. The breakfast hostess was fantastic! Instead of going in and getting the food yourself, you tell her what you want and she gets it all for you. I would definitely recommend this location.

The hotel is an older two story with outside entrances. All King bed rooms are on the second floor with no elevator so be prepared to lug your stuff up the stairs. The staff were very friendly and wore face masks. They served your breakfast to order so you did not have to crowd together into the small room.

We stayed in Cottonwood on Friday, September 18, 2020, and the motel would not accommodate my disability even though we requested it when we booked the reservation. I had polio, walk with a walker, and cannot walk very far. We checked in at 3pm and my husband asked for a first floor room with parking. The clerk said not rooms like that were available. Then, she assigned us to a room very far from parking and at the end of a walkway so I had to walk a great distance to get to the room. Note there were no cars in the parking lot for the rooms with parking. This created embarrassment and a lot of pain so I could not leave the room for dinner. We will never stay there again and will file a complaint under the ADA. I have never been treated like that at a Best Western.

The Best Western Cottonwood is a wonderful small hotel with reasonable prices and a most accommodating staff. We booked the "family Room" which is two rooms connected one with a queen sized bed and the other a king. You have two bathrooms and two TV's. It is perfect for a family traveling with children. The desk clerk was delightful and steered us to two great restaurants based on criteria we gave her. She went above and beyond to make sure that were comfortable. This is a great place to stay in Cottonwood.

I've been staying here for over 30 years, it just gets better & better. The latest improvement is all kinds of solar panels which provide amazing shade for your vehicle. Great breakfast currently with social distancing.

Great customer service and very clean property. Tracy, the front desk clerk, was very nice and welcoming. She has great customer service skills. Whenever we saw her. She always asked how we were doing and if there was anything she could do for us. Breakfast was very good. It was a hot meal. The breakfast attendant, made sure we received everything we asked for. I was so glad we had a hot meal available for us. We still had to eat it in our room. But that was fine. Everyone there was doing the best they could to make it a wonderful experience.

I went here with 3 others and we loved it so much we're signing up for the Best Western membership! We had previously gone to another motel (bed bug issue among other things), and ended up going here for the stay instead! Getting the key cards was fast and easy! Took less than 3 minutes. The staff is very nice, ALL of them, even the cleaning staff was pleasant, my brother had a conversation with one woman, and she was so sweet! When we got into the room, the A/C was on 60°, which we were grateful for considering it was 90-something degrees outside. The air smelled clean, and the sheets were clean as well (white, no stains). I lifted the beds, like I always do, to check for bed bugs, and the bed liner was WHITE and there was nothing! I checked everywhere and it was VERY clean! There was a working TV with some channels, and the soap, shampoo, conditioner, AND lotion they give you smells good! We didn't use it though, so I'm not sure how they work. There was breakfast in the front still, however someone served it to us. But it was clean; always changing gloves, had a mask on, she kept everything on clean trays, and there was a clear shield in place. The food was pretty good! The eggs weren't, but the sausage, potatoes, and English muffin were good! They have decent coffee with breakfast, however the coffee in the room itself is not the same so beware! Check out was just as fast as check in. We will be going to a Best Western on our next trip.

All staff were friendly and helpful as this was our first visit to Cottonwood. Our room was comfortable and clean. We did experience low water pressure at the vanity, but worked around it. This hotel is situated near direct routes to historic sights and not far from old town which has a lot of character. We thoroughly enjoyed the antique shops and found many treasures. Our desk clerk suggested a visit to Montezuma's Castle and we found it a marvel. Thanks for a pleasant, reasonably priced getaway from the valley heat.

We traveled from North San Diego County on motorcycles. There were just under thirty in our group. We take special care to select locations that are convenient to local Restaurants, Gas Stations and interesting day trips.

My husband and I didn't even stay at this hotel overnight because it was clear they do not care about cleaning rooms, social distancing, wearing masks, or ensuring the safety of their guests. Honestly, such a terrible experience and one that makes me even more afraid to attempt traveling again during these times. Lack of awareness of guest safety aside - this hotel is very sketchy. All the rooms face the outdoors and the parking lot was very shady. It's not worth saving a few $ to stay here.

I recommend the Best Western Cottonwood Inn, as their staff is friendly and efficient. Our room was clean and promptly attended to by housekeeping during the day. I felt the price was very reasonable and competitive. This hotel is conveniently located near various amenities, yet it is not too far away from the historic part of Cottonwood, making it a great location! I would definitely stay here again.

After 5 days southern Utah and northern Arizona, Cottonwood was our last night of a great vacation. The Best Western was perfectly located between Jerome & Camp Verde. The grounds, room & pool area were top notch

A beautiful getaway spot to get out of Phoenix for the weekend. This is the place. Close to Sedona with all it"s great natural wonders; such as Slide Rock, Chapel, Red Rock.... the list goes on. Best Western in Cottonwood offers great location and affordable luxury. Highly recommend the experience.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights and were very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and they did an excellent job providing breakfast to go during COVID-19. This hotel is 20 minutes away from Jerome and only about 25-30 minutes away from Sedona. We will stay here in the future when visiting Sedona since the traffic in Sedona is terrible.

I travel for work a great deal and stay at Best Western across the country at least 100 nights out of the year this property is great I've never stayed in one of the regular rooms but the 40 times I have stayed there in the casetas they are amazing and definitely worth the extra money I highly recommend at this location and I do not do that very often

looks nice from outside. But inside its kinda shabby. Walls are paper thin! Also don't expect to pay posted prices! It will be about $50 more! Don't believe the web site either, you will get answers like oh thats out of date, we haven't changed it yet! I was always told to call the hotel directly for best deals! They don't price match and you end up paying MORE! Go elsewhere!!

Another old facilty and overpriced. Bathroom items were very cheap in size and quality. No water in the room. Friendly staff. Slow check in and I'm a Rewards Member. A real good location for eating and ease of access to main road.

We stayed here to avoid the high cost of staying in Sodona. It was clean, comfortable, and when we asked to switch rooms because of the noisy room next door, the front desk lady was quick to grant our request. Then it was very quiet, too. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast lady always had a smile on her face, and was very helpful.

I requested a room on the ground floor because i can not climb stairs. They tried to give us one on the 2nd floor, she changed it but still had to climb 4 stairs,what part of I CANT CAN CLIMB STAIRS DID SHE NOT understand?The rooms were ok, bathroom small blankets thin,it was clean is about the only plus, way over priced

Older hotel in smaller community, conveniently located to restaurants, local activities & about 20 miles south of Sedona. We stayed foe one night. It wasn't special, but It was clean with comfortable beds & had good Mexican Restaurant next door. Complimentary hot & cold breakfast was adequate with good coffee. Management responded promptly to replace broken TV remote.

The check-in was excellent by Eva and the dinner recommendation at Nick's Steak and Seafood in Old Town was superb!. Then back at the hotel for a good night's stay and up for a quick breakfast and then off to my worksite down the street. I'll be staying again 3/8/20 for work at an office, which is a 2 min walk from BW.

Stayed in Cottonwood because it was close to Sedona where I met college friends to celebrate our birthdays (only a 18 minute drive) also because was cheaper then hotels in Sedona and I travel with a dog. Room was clean and comfortable. Only problem is there is no area to walk a pet. You have to find a vacant lot somewhere or walk on a side street. Not very convenient when dark at 5:00 in the morning. Also construction going on and was not able to park close to the room to unload or load the car. Pillows are not very comfortable as well. The ones in the room were very lumpy s small.

I recommend Best Western in Cottonwood because its centrally located and the staff have always had our best interest in mind when we stay there. Any time we have had a need someone took care of it with a great attitude towards us. I felt cared for. Thank you to all the Staff.

We live in Williams and had some friends come to visit from Los Angeles. I booked this hotel because of it's great location near Sedona and Jerome, it being dog friendly and because I also work for a Best Western. We arrived around 7:30 P.M on 2/15/2020 and the employee at the front desk, (didn't catch her name unfortunately) was just great. She was extremely busy due to the hotel being sold out but that didn't stop her form exuding fantastic customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. Thanks Doug! The only thing I think could make this property better would be a grassy area for the pets to use. The only spots were dirt fields with across the parking lot which were very dark and inconvenient.

We stayed 7 nights and the hotel is a treasure for its comfort and cleanliness. Excellent restaurants in Cottonwood. Highly recommend breakfast or lunch at Randalls on Main St. You could walk to it but we always drove. We enjoy all of their dishes. For dinner, our favorite is Pizzeria Bocce. My husband normally hates pizza but he became a convert with pizza fungi. Other delicious restaurants we enjoyed are Nic's and the Tavern Grill.

Won't stay here again. They accused us of stealing a pillow and then charged us for it. They have the small pillows that are terrible and nobody would want anyway. I'm a diamond member and treated like this? The room also smelled a bit musty.

I booked this hotel for my daughter and her boyfriend to stay during the holidays, for a total of 11 nights, while we stayed at an RV park nearby (our RV is too small for four adults). The hotel is walking distance to restaurants, fast food, convenience stores, and local nightlife, which they really enjoyed. Over priced room, items not working in the room, small room for a casita. No free cookies or coffee in lobby. We wont stay again. Cottonwood and surtounding areas are pretty. Best Western is where we have always stayed across country. Will be cancelling our reservation made for April, not worth the high price.

Our stay in Cottonwood was awesome! We had a noisy night the previous night so the staff made sure we had a quiet room! We were recommended an amazing restaurant for dinner! Had a wonderful night's sleep and breakfast was super tasty!!

Did a family trip and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to my needs. It was an easy check in and check out process. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Would stay here again.

We stayed here during the Thanksgiving Holiday and were very impressed with how nice the staff were. It was a crazy time of year and yet everyone was very nice. The room was perfect and clean and we will definitely stay here again.

Made reservations on web sight . Web sight defaulted arrival date and I was charged for a night I was not even there in the hotel . Called and explained the problem but staff did not care and charged me for the room anyway . I had a future plans of staying there but canceled .

Stayed here one night - the two queen bed room was spacious with plenty of room for our luggage. There was a workdesk, chairs, table, refrigerator and microwave. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. There was plenty of parking near our room and the hotel is right off the main road so it's convenient to get in and out of. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was kept clean and well stocked even though it was really busy. The hotel is well built because the rooms were quiet. We were right near the stairwell but did not hear any noise. The AC was quiet. There is no elevator so request a ground floor room if needed. They have a nice pool that's really clean and well kept grounds. I would definitley recommend this hotel.

Reasonable Price, good clean and tidy room in a good location convenient for shopping and dining. The breakfast provided was found to be better and higher than our expectation both in term of quality and quantity..

On our road trip out west we booked a room for one night. It is an older building but it is clean. We had no problems and we took our dogs out walking after dark and felt safe. It's not a bad place to sleep for the night.There is a pet deposit.

This is one of the best motels I have stayed in for a long time, and for the price it was the best. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Also the beds were excellent. Location is centrally located in Cottonwood. Stayed there over 10 years ago and it was a good choice then as well.

Fantastic stay and great bang for the buck. Booked a double queen room online for under $100 and called the hotel to ask for a first floor room, as my mom has trouble with stairs. (There is no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs, I recommend you call ahead. While they can't guarantee, they do everything to accommodate special requests.) When we got there, the lady who checked us in greeted us like old friends. She told me there was a note in the file on a first floor room and she'd already arranged for one close to the front office.) Check-in was easy and room was spacious and very clean. All the linens and towels were brand new. Breakfast was a full hot one with plenty of variety. Everyone on staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. It's an older hotel, but kept very up-to-date. Given the staff, the room, and the hot breakfast, you can't go wrong with Best Western in Cottonwood!

We had a serious security situation. Travelers beware… At 3:00 am on Saturday night / Sunday morning, in the middle of the night, an unknown male perp began knocking at our door. I observed him through the peephole. He never showed his face to the door or the peephole aperture which was suspect. He would knock quietly three times, wait 20-30 seconds and do this over and over again for some time. He was not drunk or impaired, on the contrary, he looked practiced and coached. He was disciplined, he never showed his face. Keep in mind this was during a limited hunting season, hunters were at the hotel, and AZ is a free country with their gun laws. I am not a soft-target; however, I respected this threat potential. Who would risk this? Why my door? He did not knock on any others. How long would you expect to last knocking on unknown doors in Cottonwood AZ at 3:00 in the morning? Not long… We called the front desk and I explained the situation and described the perp. A girl at the front desk said she would come up and ‘take care of it'. I don't know what kind of training they are giving at the Best Western Cottonwood, but this girl is either a warrior or she knew the person. She came up, said a few words and they walked down the stairs together. WTF I called the sherif, the Yavapai Sheriffs are true professionals. It is really great to have them to call when you don't want to get into an unknown engagement with your girlfriend in the room, with one exit. Thank you!

It is a good hotel. It is not fancy but it will do for us. Big parking space. Decent breakfast (hoping there will be more fresh fruits option in the future). WiFi and fridge are available in the room. Welcoming Staffs (Front Desk crews/Room Cleaning crews/Breakfast crew). I will definitely consider this hotel in the future. Thank you.

We stayed here on 10/1/19 in Casita 303. We found the motel clean, quiet, with plenty of parking and with some of the best staff we have encountered at a BW. Check in with Tracy was great, (friendly, efficient and plenty of helpful info on the town). They provide a very helpful map of Cottonwood. The casita was good sized, with an outside patio area. The sink is outside the bathroom/shower area. The bed was comfortable. The internet was good for email and web surfing. Breakfast was typical of a BW breakfast. We would stay here again.

The hotel room was clean and quiet, but the mattress was totally shot and pillows were the worst. I had brought my own pillow but ended up giving it to my sister who was struggling to get some much needed sleep, and I wound up using a rolled up towel. Yes, the pillows are that bad! Blankets are in need of replacing as well. They've seen their better days. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the gal hosting the breakfast was amazing. Great coffee!

When I arrived I waited 15 min to check in. The staff obviously didn't have their act together. The hot water was intermittent in my room. The door was left open after the room was cleaned when I went to check out I had to find someone because no one was at the front desk.

Nice hotel in Cottonwood. Great pool and hot tub, About 2 miles from the old part of town. Close to Sedona, Jerome, and the Verde Railroad. Nice central location. Breakfast was excellent and the staff nice and helpful. Would stay there again.

The staff works hard to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. Breakfast is excellent and people go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. The rooms are clean and the front office staff is very kind.

This hotel is pretty old, and could use some updating.....our pull cord curtains didn't close correctly, the wall attached hair dryer did not work at all, our bedside outlets did not charge our phones, and the outside doors for all room entry is not my favorite. However, the hotel had a place to do laundry, the breakfast had the usual selections, and the service staff seemed friendly........and the location was very centralized for getting around the area. The biggest plus for this Pacific NW gal, was the brand new StarBucks that has opened across the street.......so today was a “good” day!

It was a great experience, quiet, great staff, fantastic bteakfast. I will go back if I need to spend time in Cottonwood again. When you make a reservation at a hotel, you have certain hopes or expectations. This hotel lived up to all my expectations.

Check-in not ready until 5:30pm after long ride. AARP discount NOT given. Rousted next morning at 9am by a snide man to make sure we would be out on time. Called GM Christine Carrillo after the weekend to get my AARP discount credited to me and I was abrupt, but she was rude and hung up on me. It was Thunder Rally weekend and staff not prepared for it mentally or physically. Front counter ladies were nice.

Just a friendly, clean and well-kept place. Good food and conversation at breakfast and lots of supporting businesses for copies, printing, eating and drinking establishments(Vinnies Pizza-YUM), Walmart or buy a truck.

This was the best value for our senior Singles group to visit Jerome, Old Cottonwood, the Verde Canyon RR and Sedona.. The Desk staff and the woman who takes care of the breakfast area were very friendly. Our rooms weren't ready at checkin, but it was my error because I did not ask for rooms on the 1st floor. They worked things out for us and remained pleasant. We also had a billing problem because one person from our group cancelled. The desk clerk handed the problem to her manager when she couldn't figure it out, and it was handled. The rooms are very clean but the bathroom area is very small. They have 3 shelves by the sink to keep your personal items. This was very helpful since the bathroom area is so small. I had an issue with the air conditioner next to the desk. When I tried to work on my computer, the fan would blow all my papers around, so I had to turn it off when I was on the computer.

This is a good quality hotel and our group of 10 adults was treated well at the front desk. On Sunday morning we were up early at six to go to your Antelope Canyon. The afternoon before the front desk generously offered to pack a grab and go breakfast bag for each of us since a self-help hot breakfast area is not open until 6:30am on weekends. Coffee is offered free 24 hours. As we went into the breakfast area to grab coffee, a woman who told us that she was the night auditor came into the dark room where we were trying to get coffee in the dark and told us to leave because she had to keep the room clean or else she was going to get into trouble. She moved our bags out to the lobby and and was not pleasant, acting like we not welcomed guests. Our morning started out with a scolding attitude by the night auditor. Everything else was excellent, but you remember how you were treated, right?

We stayed at this hotel for several nights on 2 separate occasions. The hotel staff have been remarkable! They have gone out of their way to provide us with assistance. This is a very busy hotel yet their staff took extra time with us to help us with local area information and also were very helpful in booking our next visit with our desired accommodations. They ensured that we were well taken care of. Breakfast was great too!

Every time I travel I try to find a Best Western Plus to stay at. There rewards program is the best. The hotels are very up to date and most offer a very nice breakfast included in the room rate. We are retired and travel around the country alot. We have stayed this year in about ten different stayed at Pluses and have had very few complaints and the complaints were minor.

We love this place, you just slow down And relax when you get to the gate. The guards Bill, the ladies, each one of them are on top of things. So helpful and always keeping this place welcoming, beautiful, clean and truly peaceful. The pool is amazing, facilities are clean always and it's just an oasis. Thank you.

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this hotel. And already planning next year's trip. From check in with Tracy to the cleanliness of the hotel Michelle the housekeeper supervisor was so nice and helpful!! As was the rest of the staff. It's in a great location.

This was the 2nd time at this Motel, excellent service, and a Very helpful staff. The room was very clean, the house keeping staff were there when you needed them. This won't be the last time we stay at a BEST WESTERN !

We stayed here for a night with family from out of town. The location was convenient for what we needed. The front desk clerk was efficient, but not very friendly. She may have been overwhelmed with the number of people checking in at one time. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We were not by the pool, which would have been quite noisy the the number of people using it. Overall, it was a good stay.

When my husband and I first drove up it looked like a motel and I was a little skeptical. Upon entering the lobby it did have a weird smell, but that was the only downside. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfy (pillows were a little lumpy though), and we had a peaceful stay. Breakfast the next morning was really good and they had a huge variety. They had biscuits with eggs and sausage, waffles, oatmeal with 5 or 6 different toppings along with yogurt, cold cereal, fruit, toast, muffins, coffee, juice, and more. Upon check out they even had some cucumber infused water at the front desk...such a nice touch. Overall it was a great stay and we will definitely stay there again.

Sedona, Arizona is a hikers paradise. Really well maintained trails in fantastic scenery, with accurate maps available. With all that comes high prices for lodging. The secret is to not stay in Sedona itself. My first thought was to stay in Flagstaff to the north, but most hotels had poor reviews. Then we discovered Cottonwood, Arizona is just 17 minutes south of Sedona, with an excellent connector highway. Cottonwood has all the amenities of any American city so it was the perfect base for a Sedona vacation. Stayed at the Cottonwood Best Western.

Over the years , we have stayed at many Best Westerns . Generally they are at least very good or excellent ! Sadly , for our 3 nights here , they “forgot “(??) housekeeping in our King Bed room ! ( I had read an earlier review that indicated “slacking “on housekeeping) Reception is very cordial and helpful ! Complimentary breakfast & service is GREAT ! Sadly the very nice SPA & pool was temporarily closed on a Sunday night in late July ! Really ??!! ...Taking advantage of folks enroute to nearby Sedona ?? Would we stay here again after MUCH Nationwide travel experience .. and living nearby to Cottonwood , AZ in Tucson ? ....... Probably NOT ! ...

I was booked by my corporate travel office into a "casita" for 8 days. BUT... I called three days prior and they claimed they had no record. My travel office rep said they had rarely encountered a less intelligent desk clerk. Once it was resolved, I arrived to check into a pre-paid room only to discover that an "incidental" charge would be placed on a credit card - $20 per day. My company gives me $50 per day for food and gas, so that cut me down to $30 per day. NOTHING on the web site about this charge. NOTHING communicated to my corporate travel office about it. NOTHING posted in the office. The room was clean, and cleaned fairly well. The water pressure is awful, as noted in previous posts. Plan on at least 5 minutes more per shower. This place is never quiet, they are always hosting something. Tour buses, softball teams, wildfire squads, it's always busy. I would like to give this hotel a higher rating, but their incompetence about front-office charges is inexcusable. I will be advising my corporate travel office to avoid this property.

We stayed two nights. Room was not serviced during our stay. Pool closed early on second day so we were not able to use the pool. Food was average, but you did have choices between hot/cold options. The area was quiet and appeared safe.

Booked 2 rooms for family to visit family in the area. The room was very clean & quiet. Jennifer in the breakfast room was AWESOME! She was SO friendly & worked hard to ensure that all breakfast items were stocked. Breakfast was good with hot & cold items available.

We could have used extra blankets. A/c was very cold! We have came for July 4th for few years now & we stay here. This time we felt springs in mattress on bed by door. Room very clean. Teenager found pinecone under her bed. :-)

I used to love this hotel but I was extremely disappointed this time. This was my favorite and only place I would stay when visiting the Sedona area. We go at least a few times every year. This time around the rooms were not clean, some of the towels I had were also disgustingly filthy, the toilet made an awful squealing sound every time you flushed it, and the noise and traffic out of some of the rooms in the back building made it seem like the people were living there..very uncomfortable! We came in from a long day and we're so exhausted we didn't want to go through the hassle of changing rooms or going to the front desk to complain. This is the first time I took a group with me and I was so embarrassed by the entire ordeal. I promised them clean nice rooms and that was not what we got

This is our first time staying at a Best Western hotel. The room appeared very clean. The TV remote was wrapped in plastic and cleaned. The shower was awesome, and towels of superior quality. Awesome!

Locationwise, hotel can't be beat. Fifteen minutes or less and visited Jerome, Verde Canyon Railroad, and Tuzigoot. Only a twenty minute drive and we were in the heart of Sedona and Oak Creek. TRUTH! The entire area should be called "sleepytown" as almost everything but bars and a few excellent food restaurants are open after about 5pm. So we used a very clean and well kept pool and spa at the hotel in the evenings. Very simple, nice fresh bfast. From various forms of eggs and meats to mini muffins and cereal. I added cinnamon and shredded coconut to my "make your own waffle". Twice there was strawberry topping available and the third morning blueberry. Just very nice, clean, friendly, affordable lodging. Two notes: no newspaper available although convenience store is only a few steps away. Thick pillows. For me a bit uncomfortable as I don't like my head raised so high. Excellent location. We would definately stay here again on future visits.

Good location for my needs. Close to food and only 15 miles from Sedona. I was skeptical at first, but once we got there, everything was wonderful. Only complaint was the water pressure in the room for the faucet and shower

This Best Western offered us the best price for our one night stay. The room and grounds were very clean, and our queen size bed was very comfortable. The morning breakfast was hot and very tasty, one of the best breakfasts of over the competition, plus my Best Western points NEVER expire (waahoo). Would we stay here again when in central Arizona, yes (in a heart beat).

We found the Cottonwood Inn to be a clean, well maintained motel. Simple room, fairly comfortable beds. Decent pool with hot tub. The hot breakfast included in price was appreciated. We found it to be totally acceptable, close enough to Sedona, and much less expensive.

We stayed one night for a last-minute weekend trip to Sedona. Since we couldn't find inexpensive lodging so late in Sedona, Cottonwood was our next best bet. The hotel was up to typical Best Western standards. Check-in was smooth and the woman at the front desk went out of her way to be helpful. The room was clean and everything worked properly. Fridge and coffee in the room always a plus. The pool/hot tub looked nice and well-maintained, even though we didn't use them. We had a room that faced the pool and I was worried about noise from guests at night, but we ended up not hearing the people there at all once inside. Really, very little noise at all during our stay. The hot breakfast was good but not great. Better than at many places we've stayed, but not the best we've ever had at a Best Western. My only real quibble is that I thought the room rate was expensive for the quality of lodging - almost $150 when all was said and done. Otherwise, we would certainly consider staying here again if in the area.

Very helpful employees, easy to find and get in and out of. Breakfast was very good, different choices everyday, they even had donut holes which I don't usually eat but must say was quite tastey with my coffee! We had 2 free nights with our rewards points and stayed a third night They were very good about making sure we had the same room so we didn't have to pack and relocate. Was our last stop before flying out, a gas stations is literally 50 ft from the hotel, quite convenient. Would absolutely stay here again!

For overall quality and as a frequent traveler best western is surprisingly on par with many hotels which would normally be considered higher end. Let's imagine Hilton and marriot more expensive stays. Best western not only has equal or high quality amenities and furniture, but also has the matching service for lesser price. I highly recommend this hotel to those that travel frequently or simply to those who want a great experience at a reasonable price.

The Best Western Cottonwood Inn is a nice hotel for the value, there are not any top of the line hotels in Cottonwood, so your choices are limited to the Economy hotels, with the Best Western being one of the nicer ones. The rooms are large and have quite a bit of room, so you do not feel cramped. The furniture and decor is a bit dated, but still in good condition, however the lamps have being updated and have USB ports for charging. The rooms were clean, the bathroom is a bit small, but large sink / counter area outside the bathroom. They provide a breakfast in the mornings which is decent, and has some basics if you want something quick to get your day started. There is a restaurant (Plaza Bonita) in front of the property, and a Gas Station (Giant) next door, and two other hotels, next to, and across the street. The Best Western is centrally located, so fairly easy to get around, plenty of places to eat within walking distance, or within a 1 mile drive, also a WalMart about half a mile down the street. The rooms have a coffee maker and refrigerator, but no Microwave which would be nice for them to add. Also do not get rooms on the "East" side of the hotel, facing the Gas Station, the "West" side on the parking lot side, is much quieter. The staff was friendly and helpful, if/when needed, and check in and check out were quick.

Rooms are quiet, clean, and roomy. We have had to visit Cottonwood regularly for professional reasons. We know that Best Western works for us. The restaurant next door is great, The free breakfasts are tasty. The staff is exceptional and will assist in whatever way they can to make your stay better.

Location: Good location at 260/89A intersection. Close to restaurant. Easy drive to historic downtown. Check-in: Harried desk clerk. One person on duty to handle check ins and phones. One customer and two long phone calls ahead of me. Overly fast once I got to head of line. Property: Old motel with doors facing parking lot. Sidewalks and parking lot show wear, but well maintained. Pool but no fitness center. Room: Clean and large. Shampoo container was empty. Mattress was old and spongy. Value: Very good. We had two bedroom suite. Both rooms had baths, TV's, etc. Good price. Breakfast: Standard hot breakfast fare. Eggs a bit cold. Attendant very cheerful and helpful.

We have stayed st BW Cottonwood several years now and keep coming back because of the location and service we have received. We appreciate the availability of handicapped rooms with the proper bathroom facilities. There are gas stations, restaurants, stores and road access very conveniently located. It's also quiet so getting a restful night is never a problem.

There were no convenient outlets for cell phones or cpa machine. The one available was very loose. Tried to use one behind the bed, but had to unplug the lamp & clock. Bed was not the most comfortable. The front desk was friendly. Breakfast always a plus.

We always have a good time when we stay at the Best Western in Cottonwood. The staff is especially attentive to your needs during your stay. We like staying in the casitas because they have a nice patio and are roomy. They have a great breakfast with coffee... juices... milk...eggs...sauusage... bacon...potatoes oatmeal...pancakes...muffins...donuts ... ......breads... yogurt....fruit etc. We enjoy all the activities that are in the area and look forward to spending time in the area.

This hotel is located convenient to the attractions of Sedona, Jerome and the Cottonwood historic district. The trade off for that convenience is the noise from the busy intersection it is on - not awful but audible. It has reasonably spacious and appointed rooms and the adequate complementary breakfast typical of such chains. It does not have the view of some of the fancy places nearby but also a much more affordable price. The staff was friendly and helpful and there is a very nice family run Mexican restaurant with a full bar across the parking lot.

I highly recommend the family room if you are traveling with children. Super convenient room, 2 rooms, 2 beds, 2 baths and 2 TV's. I wish I would have made the resv earlier so I wouldn't have have to change rooms to a double double.

I have never left s bad review anywhere. People considering staying here need to know not to go. This place is a disaster. Stayed here 8 night in a six week period. There is an issue every night. Had to move rooms twice ( should have been 3 times ) From A/C not working , wall outlets not working. Keys had to be redone almost every night ( stored in my my left chest pocket by themselves ) Breakfast is barely edible. People in there rooms with doors and shades open. Front desk called us twice in one night in the wee hours of the morning waking us our of a sound sleep stating that people were coplaing that there was screaming coming from our room ? We were sound asleep without even the TV on. Seriously I would not send my worst enemy here. This place is a joke !

Rooms smell musty. Definitely a 3 star hotel. Staff at front desk poorly trained was no able to complet our check out quickly and we missed our Pink Jeep Tour time b/c she took 20 minutes to check us out. I was ready to just leave. Four times I explained we had to leave and this is taking too long. I went to get a cup of tea and even put bags in car came back and she still did not have a clue how to complete check out.

We stayed here Friday - Sunday (4/12/19-4/14/19), and the housekeeping staff could not be bothered to make up our room. I might have expected this at a budget hotel or motel, but Best Westerns are medium priced properties; and at a room rate over $100 per night, I expected better. The manager was apologetic about the oversight, but did not offer a discount for their oversight. The breakfast was OK, with a selection of eggs and bacon or sausage. The on-sight washer worked OK. The wifi was good. Checkout was not smooth, as the room rate on the final bill did not match the rate that I initialed at check in. Some people may not check their bill closely when checking out, and to the hotel's credit, it appears that the final amount charged to my credit card was correct, but I doubt that it would have been if I had not pointed this out to the desk staff member that checked me out before departure. This property failed to live up to what I have come to expect when staying at a Best Western property. All in all a mixed bag, but disappointing nonetheless...

We always stay at this Best Western in Cottonwood whenever we are in the area. The rooms are immaculate, the staff is excellent and the complimentary breakfast is great. High speed internet is also excellent.

Easy to Old CottonWood and Sedona and Jerome. Rode trails on our sxs. Fun week. The food in the area really is excellent. Friendly staff. Street legal to ride our rzr, we took them in trails and into towns

Very nice hotel with a fabulous staff that care about your comfort and stay,. That care about you! went out of their way to make sure my stay was memorable. helped with advice on where to go and to popular and quiet places to eat. This was a full and great trip. only thing I missed was the train ride, it wasn't open, but a good reason to go back.

This hotel is very busy so make your reservations in advance. The staff is friendly, the rooms are what you would expect for a Best Western. Centrally located to Jerome, Sedona, 3 National Parks. Plenty of food choices for dinner, many within walking distance. More affordable than others, especially compared to the ones in downtown Sedona.

The room was Dirty trash on the floor there was food left in fridge overpriced for the location and condition breakfast was ok and WiFi worked. I would not recommend this property paid over 200.00 for this

The staff was awesome! The room was clean and comfortable; good beds. We were given a “handicap accessible” room which was super hard to use. The doorway to the bathroom was not even big enough to get the wheelchair through. The breakfast choices had fruit that was very unripe and didn't offer any other choices for my restricted diet. If you don't have limitations, this is a great find!

This is a nice hotel and well located, but be sure to ask for an extra blanket when you check in! The beds only have a sheet and a thin coverlet. The heater works, but doesn't have a thermostat, so if you run it all night, you get too hot, and dried out! So I kept having to get up and turn it off, then a few hours later, on again. The breakfast bar was pretty good though.

Could be just our bad luck ... At check in had to wait while clerk and customer leisurely spent time discussing their dogs. Outside temps were cool and room did not have heat on when we arrived at 5:30 pm so room was very cold. Also the heating system was hard to control and had an occasional beeping noise like when a commercial vehicle backs up. Water in sink slow to drain. Had to hold down toilet lever to complete flushing. Not hotel's fault but clock alarm went off at midnight. The breakfast was very good and attendant super friendly. Also, Mexican restaurant right next door was exceptional.

This property is 20 miles/30 minutes from downtown Sedona, but boy, oh boy, is it worth it! It's a super easy drive to Sedona, and when you come home tired after hiking and touring, this spot is the a great place to land. There's not only a Mexican restaurant on the next lot, but there's no less than 5 restaurants within a one mile area. There's also a full grocery store across the street and a convenience store just 10 yards away. I was a little surprised by the lack of a microwave in such a self-contained unit, but there's a microwave available in the lobby area. Breakfast is full and hearty and is staffed by the nicest lady (Jenny?) who keeps it stocked and tidy and is so friendly day after day. This was my first visit, but certainly not my last, I'll be visiting this Best Western again and again.

The staff in this Best Western were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also the best motel breakfast we have had, and we've had a few!! It's clean, comfortable and our room was away from the road, so quiet as well. Short walk to two restaurants, great location for sight seeing as well.

This was our second stay at this Hotel, and whilst My Wife & I always get a warm and friendly welcome from Best Western Hotels, we were welcomed by the lady on the front desk like we were old friends. After a long day driving, this welcome made us feel especially welcome. This time, because we were staying for a week, we booked a “Casita” instead of a normal room. The Casita is a slightly larger room and has a private patio. They are located at the far end of the parking area, and even though the hotel was very busy, there was still plenty of parking space despite several RV's and vehicles with trailers parked in the parking lot. The room was very clean, and the A/C was already running, which meant the temperature in the room was “Just Right”. Despite the temperature outside being in the 90'S. Even the patio, the table & the chairs had been swept and cleaned. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The bedding was changed and the whole room & patio were cleaned daily, so everything was clean and fresh every night when we returned to our room. The breakfast was excellent, various types of Bread, Cereal, Waffles, Eggs (Scrabbled & Hard Boiled), Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, 4 Different types of Fruit Juice, Coffee, Tea, Fresh Fruit & Muffins. The lady (Jennifer) who runs the breakfast room deserves a special mention. Jennifer is a very big asset to this hotel, she looks after everybody like they were all members of her family. You always get a “Good Morning” & “Did you sleep OK?” & “Where are you heading today?” & “Do you need any directions or information?”. She also keeps all the tables clear & clean and maintains a constant supply of fresh hot food. My Wife & I cannot praise this lady highly enough. This hotel is very easy to find, located on South Main St (HWY 89A) in Cottonwood. It is a great location to use as a base for exploring the area, Sedona, The Historic town of Jerome & it's Ghost Town, Tuzigoot National Monument, Montezuma's Castle & Montezuma's Well National Monuments and lots of other historic and interesting sites are all within easy travelling distance. There are lot of various Café's, Restaurants and other food outlets within easy walking distance for you to organize an evening meal. There are also various gas stations (Some with car washes) and there is a Walmart Superstore within 5 Minutes' Drive. There are always a lot of information brochures and leaflets in the lobby of the hotel and the ladies on the front desk are always willing to help with information and directions, they will even print you a map if you needed one. All in all, a Great Hotel run by Great Staff, we highly recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to our next stay.

Hotel was great willnever use trip advisor again the credit card their 3rd party company used was declined took over an hour and a half to check in. Diamond the front desk girl rocks she was very nice and helpful. But trip advisor and Cancelon can go to ....

Motel design with outside access to rooms. Clean room. Strange having the vanity sink as part of the room and not in the bathroom. Dated but functional. Staff were friendly. Location good for Sedona and Jerome.

We had some financial issues with this hotel, they were not accommodating and willing to work with varying situations, but not for lack of trying. We made reservations many months before arrival (the reservations were non refundable) but we were not able to stay due to my husband being mandated to work. They called everyone they could to help us out but they were unwilling to budge. We stayed for a night and lost the cost of two nights. Besides that the actual hotel was dated, worn in need of an update and maintenance . Breakfast was nothing special and very small area to eat in. Much more like a travel lodge than a best western

Was really impressed upon arrival at how fast and friendly the desk was. My room was very clean the internet fast and plenty of TV chanels,Housekeeping did A exclent job daily, The Breakfast was good with something different daily. Budget truck rentals stranded us for two days in the little town of Cottonwood Arizona and we had 2 LABRADORS with us bestwestren was the only hotel we could find that would take our puppys! They gave us a room that was near a safe potty area and the room was very comfortable great breakfast & there was a very good Mexican Mexican resturants that shared the property

We met with family members who took the holiday train in Cottonwood. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The Mexican restaurant next door was good too. (try the albondigas soup). The gas station was convenient and everyone at all three businesses were friendly. A nice overnight stay before heading back to Phoenix.

Even though staff was low during thanksgiving, there was no lack of friendly service at the front counter and breakfast buffet. Hotel is in a convenient location and lots of services are available within walking distance.

Rooms are smallish but clean. Beds are comfy. Bathroom is tiny, but everything works. Breakfast is free and good, excellent coffee. Coffee maker in room and a fridge but no microwave. Staff is helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 1 day. The front desk clerk was not friendly at all. It truly seemed like she 'hated' her job! Very poor first impression! Very gruff lady. The room was basic & clean. Like a motel room. The pool/hot tub were closed for the season. We liked that it was quiet - no noise from the main road. The breakfast was really good! Upon arrival for breakfast, almost everything was gone! The dining room host 'truly' apologized that the hot food was gone. She advised that there was a had family in there that had 'numerous' servings. Unfortunately, she could not keep up bringing out food. She was working hard to ensure the dining room was clean & food was put out. It was busy! I felt a bit sorry for her as she was on her own..Very very pleasant/kind girl! She brought out the food once it was done and let us & others know. Great customer service from her! This location is easy to find. Close to Sedona. Cheaper than hotels in Sedona. Close to Jerome.

Great location, easy to find. Clean rooms and no road noise. The outdoor pool and hot tub were closed for the season. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The staff were accomadating to make your breakfast quick and the dining room clean.

Another good nights stay well on our road trip and not far to Sedona. Arrived early and our rooms where not made up but front desk said we could probably get in in about a hour. She then offered us to have lunch which had been brought in by a fellow business for staff and there was more than enough. I must say it was very good and thanks again.

The BW brand of hotels/motels for the most part are nothing fancy but reliable. The Cottonwood Inn is no exception. That was one of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a hotel/motel in YEARS!!! Thanks guys!

Hotel was in a great location, close to main street happenings and it was a nice quiet place to sleep. Would definitely come back to stay. The staff was very nice and helpful too. The rooms were very comfortable.

This Best Western is a well run facility located near many desirable spots--Sedona and Jerome, to name a couple. Easy, close access to restaurants and well set up for road trips given the proximity of parking to the room. Well worth it.

Overall this is a nice facility. Very clean, comfortable beds and bathroom. Good food at breakfast. And a wonderful gal in the breakfast room, but don't expect too much from the front desk. Reservations were wrong, charges were wrong and attitudes were unpleasant. If you want a nice room it can be had but not too good with the service end of things.

The check in was easy enough once the receptionist understood that we were from the UK. The room was on the second floor there was no lift so this could make it a little tricky for some but was ok for us. Our room faced the swimming pool. The pool area was kept clean and tidy. The breakfast was really nice and the staff on one of the days very cheerful and chatty. There is plenty of eating places nearby. Cottonwood Old Town and Jerome are nice places to visit. I just wished I had paid a little more and stayed in beautiful Sedona!

We had a 3 nights reservation at the Best Western Cottonwood Inn. The room was correct, the bathroom a bit noisy with the fan. After the first night when we came back in the room we noticed that they did not clean the room, did not make the beds and did not change the towels, did not give coffee. My friend went to complain at the reception and she gave her 4 packages of coffee. After the second night when we got back from our visiting day we entered the room and only one bed was done. On the other bed we found a note from the housekeeper who wrote : "I wasn't able to make this bed because of personal belongings"!!! I left my nightgown on the bed! So during my entire stay I didn't have my bed done! The breakfast is so awful that we avoid it The receptionist told me that we are going to get a financial compensation at the check out.

We stayed two nights. On first floor. This hotel does not have elevators. Staff pleasant at checkin and checkout. Our room was average for Best Western. Breakfast below average. Served with paper plates.

My only complains were the noise and vibration in my room, caused by onsite equipment, and I also had difficulty on check-in r/t Best Western's online reservation system (the front desk said they did not have a reservation)- It took me approx. an hour to iron out the reservation issues on my own. The lady working the front desk did not seem knowledgeable (or was just distracted by her own issues), so she said she was not able to help until she received a confirmation number, after waiting 30 minutes to see if the confirmation came through, and being told there was nothing she could do, I called BW Headquarters to verify my reservation and be make sure I would not be charged twice if I checked in again. Headquarters verified that my previous reservations would be cancelled and I could again check in.

I chose this Inn based on Trip Advisor reviews. I requested a very quiet room and stayed two nights to study for an exam. They gave me a room in the back and it was very quiet. The front office and housekeeping staff were so nice and I would give this Best Western 5 stars for customer service. Room was clean and comfortable as most reviews below have said. Everything was ready for me - a/c and refrigerator already at the right temperature - means a lot not to have to turn it on/up/down & wait. The only thing that I would suggest to the staff is to clean those back stairs everyday for multiple spider webs. I will return if I'm in the area again.

The property & room was clean, fluffy comfortable bedding, quiet area. Full hot breakfast. Pet-friendly $20/night. Shampoo, bathing gel & lotion are in wall dispensers. Hairdryer, fridge, microwave, TV. Washer worked fine in laundry area but dryer took at least 3 cycles to dry light fabric clothes. Overall, had a nice stay for 2-nights.

Great rates and location close to Sedona. Comfortable beds and quiet. I highly recommend and there are also come really good restaurants in the area. FYI. They do have 2 floors and no elevator, so if you prefer not having to drag your luggage upstairs, request a bottom room. The hotel was very nice about granting my requests.

We chose the Best Western Cottonwood Inn for a 4 day - 3 night stay in a central location to revisit some of our previously enjoyed towns: Jerome, Cottonwood Old Town and Sedona. Having been through Cottonwood many times, we have never stayed at this hotel property. Bingo. This property is quite nice and conveniently located. The rooms are somewhat basic but well maintained and well equiped. Four nice pillows per bed were appreciated. Housekeeping service by Bell was excellent! The front desk crew was efficient and friendly as was all the hotel staff. We especially enjoyed their included breakfast each morning. The staff was so efficient and friendly and the food quality and daily varying choices very good. It was particularly nice, for a change, to find a hotel where everything worked as designed, ex. Door Lock, Curtains, AC, TV, Plumbing, Ice Maker, Coffee Maker, Fridge, etc...Kudos! We'll return. Recommended.

This motel is nothing fancy, with outside access to your room. (No inner hallway) The room was nice, two overstuffed chairs, comfortable queen beds, nice tv and large refrigerator. Room lighting was only fair and we appreciated the near bed outlets for our devices. We had our free hot breakfast the next morning which was very good. Our only complaint was the tub water drain plug was broken. We reported this to the front desk person. The one night cost was very reasonable.

First of all this is our second stay. We enjoy this hotel alot. Friendly staff all the way to the pool guy who helped with the ice machine. We spent the night on our way to Jerome AZ. The first time we ate at the Mexican food place next door and this time we ate at the Colt Grill. We had a thunder/lightening storm the night we stayed and I actually had to open our door to hear it!! Breakfast is good, usual items and hot items. Close to all you would want to see. Friendly staff, clean rooms, fridge, shower was nice water pressure. All in all we would stay here again anytime we are in this area. It was the first place we thought of when we planned this trip. We were downstairs facing the pool and did not have a lot of noise. Air worked great.

Cottonwood would not have been my first choice of hotel as when we stayed before it was not very good and not liked. However we were booked in by a previous hotel ahead of our arrival,we were worried about availability because of the Memorial weekend event. This time at Cottonwood we were presented with an upgraded room,after the briefest of check-ins ever,a very large room,off of the main building,so nice and quiet,bathroom was very clean and smelt "fresh",slept very well,breakfast was organised,hot,in a very small area by Jennifer,a lovely lady who could not do enough to assist the diners,thank you... stay again,(after this visit ?) yes of course.

We look forward to our yearly visit. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Full breakfast. They even provide gluten-free cereal. Great food & fun in park. Kiddos disappointed because bigest bouncy house obstacle course deflated sevearal times. It still had kids waiting in line! Fireworks were even more spectacular this year.

We enjoyed our 4 nights here in May. We wanted to be close to Sedona, but not pay Sedona hotel prices. It was less than a 20 minute drive and very reasonably priced. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was great. The breakfast staff (woman) was amazing! She was so upbeat and nice to everyone - she kept everything clean and refilled. Very nice experience with her!! The pool was nice - our boys (15 and 12) really enjoyed it and the hot tub!

I was in town for an interview and was very happy with my stay. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are good size with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean with the sink area outside of the shower area. Breakfast was pretty much warmed premade food but always nice when you can get some protein. The view was pretty and I'd definitely stay again.

24 hour coffee in lobby . Not far from old town. Tucked in behind a restaurant and a gas station, a bit hard to spot first time. Adequate room and surroundings. Nice and quiet. Convenient booking, checkin and out etc. Helpful front desk folks.

A nice hotel, just a short trip from Sedona. Prices are a lot better in Cottonwood compared to Sedona, they have a very friendly staff. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are nice and clean. Not far away from shopping and restaurants.

My expectations were pretty low, and I was relieved they were slightly exceeded. Overall our two queen bed guest room was clean and spacious. Keurig coffee maker and mini-fridge in the room. We were in building 2 by the pool, which was noisy and crowded when we checked in, but people cleared away after it got dark, and the property was quiet overnight. The breakfast included in the room price was decent, but no where near on the level of the bountiful Marriott Residence Inn and Fairfield Suite breakfast buffets. For example, the Best Western buffet had no cut fresh fruit, no waffle maker, no bagels or English muffins. There is no fitness room at this property either. I agree with other reviewers that the room rate is pricey for what you get.

Although we checked in early, we didn't return to room until almost 11 PM. We found the sink faucet had a very bad leak and flooded the counter top if you turned on more than a trickle. Too late to report for repair. $5 discount was applied at checkout.

It was a pet friendly hotel and it had a great staff. My only complaint was that it was way too expensive for what it was, it truthfully should have cost in the neighborhood of $65.00. Overall the best part of the Inn is the staff as they bend over backwards for us!

We were traveling from West Virginia and decided to stay the night here. We fell in love with the town and the hotel and decided to stay a second night. I would highly recommend this hotel and area. Breakfast was awesome as well as all the staff! Thanks for a comfortable stay!

This location is good (near Sedona) but the quality of the Best Western Experience was just average compared to other Best Westerns. The price was right and the service at the free breakfast was above average.

This hotel was a perfect location for our evening entertainment at a close-by ranch. It was extremely quiet and a comfortable place. But the morning breakfast was the best with so many great choices it was hard to decide what to have. And, the waitress/cook was one of the friendliest people we've met.

Had a very good experience at this hotel. Staff was very professional and helpful. Room was well maintained by cleaning crew. Why must we have 200 characters to submit a written review? It feels like a class assignment.

Very poor customer service at check in. We appeared to be an inconvenience. Given erroneous, incomplete information about reservation procedures resulting in being locked out of our room and being disturbed during the night after we had gone to bed to remedy the errors made by the front desk person when checking in. I was visiting Cottonwood to attend the Verde Valley Birding and Nature Festival at a near by state park. Motel recommended by the event organizers. Easy check in, nice room on 2nd floor at back unit facing the river and mountains to the east. I arrived late in afternoon after a long drive from Phoenix. Walked next door to Mexican restuarant for dinner. Quiet night, up early for festival events. Nice breakfast on site starting at 6 PM on weekdays. After my days activities I enjoyed a relaxing swimming in the motel pool. Only problem was that there were no lounge chairs at the pool just tables and chairs. I like to sun bathe so I had to lie on the concrete deck.

Stayed two nights in a reasonably-sized, quiet room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean and showed minimal wear. The beds were comfortable (firm mattress), and pillows were adequate. The vanity area was reasonably-sized, well-lighted, and had an open cupboard area next to it to put toiletry items. While there was no desk, there was a large table and adequate outlets for electronics. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. WiFi worked okay. Breakfast was standard Best Western hot breakfast. The friendly attendant kept the room clean and well-supplied with breakfast items.

Recommend this hotel for it's location-much more reasonable than Sedona and not that far away. Room was clean and a good size for 2 queen beds. Hotel has upstairs and street level rooms; pool nearby and adequate parking.

this hotel is a oasis in the city. The rooms were excellent. The pool was clean and well kept as was the hot tub. There is a laundry. An excellent Mexican restaurant is steps away. Really excellent! But there are numerous other restaurants within easy walking distance.

While putting together our itinerary to the canyons, we came across a great starting point: Verde Canyon railroad tour. This hotel is about 10 minutes away. While it is not a fancy hotel, it was just perfect for us. Very clean, cozy, everything in good working condition, friendly staff. Breakfast was a real delight with plenty of food options - and effectively-managed. The hotel was very easy to find. There are plenty of food options nearby.

Older hotel but kept up. I do not know what the regular rooms are like becasue we stayed in the casitas which have bigger rooms so they were nicer in that regard. Breakfast was okay but not real good. The location is great.

We stayed in the casetas and really enjoyed our stay - good sized room with small private patio - pool was nice and staff friendly and helpful. Room was really clean and comfortable as well as quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

Our room had a sink faucet that was not properly fastened and moved all around. The tub spout was not properly fastened. Overall, maintenance appeared to be somewhat lacking. Not a great value for the price charged.

Booked this as wanted to visit Sedona and hotels there were over priced. Cottonwood is an easy drive from Sedona and the motel is easy to find on the main road. We stayed 4 nights and we enjoyed our stay. We were out during the day but the rooms were nice to come back to at night. Always nicely cleaned while we had been out. Nice clean pool which we only used once. There was a free breakfast which my dad made it down to a couple of time to but I didn't. He said it was pretty good. Next to a gas station which we bought drinks and snacks from, also several restaurants nearby. Would stay here again if in the area.

Upon my check in the clerk was kind enough to accommodate my request for a casita! I really appreciate quiet and she knocked it out of the park with this one. Very nice, large casita with a patio, microwave, and refrigerator. They even have actual glass drinking glasses! amazing, as I hate those plastic cups other hotels offer... I could use some plugs near the bed for charging your cell phones etc. But overall, great breakfast and service too! If in the area, I would stay here again..

affordable and centrally located to the entire area. Sedona is only about 20 minutes away, enjoyed touring that area too. Old Town Cottonwood was enjoyable and bought some delicious Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar there, tasting the different flavors was fun. Store owners gave tips on different things to see. Loved dinner up at the Jerome Grand Hotel Asylum Restaurant. Great experience over all.

The hotel was not the worst hotel, but for the same money I've stayed in much nicer. It feels outdated, bedding needs to be replaced, flooring, colors, fixtures etc. Cleanliness was an issue, not my idea of fresh.

We stayed at this Inn last year and decided to make a return stay this year. The Best Western Cottonwood Inn establishment is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The full breakfast that comes with the cost is delicious. The lady who was the cook and kept the food trays full was very friendly and helpful. I overhead her giving helpful ideas of to what the see in the area and even driving directions too. She would walk around the dinning area and see if everyone was enjoying their breakfast. The Inn is in a good location for walking to restaurants too. Room cost was reasonable. Joy & Rick

Prices skyrocketed in Sedona so we decided to look in Cottonwood. We are BW customers and the price was right. Nice sized clean room, all the amenities. Breakfast was fine; hot and cold options. Would stay here again

I used this inn for a couple of nights while exploring the area. The inn is easy to find and offers a good range of rooms. Staff very helpful and answered any questions asked also supplied a very selection for breakfast. Take a trip to "Out of Africa" it rained the day we went which really spoilt the day. Don't miss a trip on the Verde Canyon Railroad.

At the last minute we needed a hotel room in Cottonwood. It's a quaint city with just a few hotels, most of them older. This hotel has older buildings, but it has been significantly updated. There are three buildings of units. But hey, this is Arizona. A little outside walking is OK. Parking was convenient. Sidewalks were in good repair. The outside of the buildings was neat and well taken care of. We saw the Maintenence Man working around the property both days we were there. Our room was on the first floor of the rear building and was pool side. Altho, the pool was down for the season, it looked as if they would open it soon. Our room with 2 queen beds was roomy and very clean and neat. The bathroom had been updated and was well supplied. The bed was comfortable and had 4 pillows !! Breakfast was in the lobby of the main building. It was an expanded continental breakfast with several items to choose from. The staff was very friendly. We were very pleased with this location and the service.

This is a really nice hotel. It is very easy to find being located on the main road. We received a really warm and friendly welcome from the lady on the front desk, despite it being after 21:00 when we booked in. The room was very clean, it had air conditioning which was running, so the room was already at a comfortable temperature and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice of both hot and cold food (Eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, yoghurt, cereal Etc. and a selection of different types of bread). The lady running the breakfast room was excellent, not only did she look after all the people sat at the tables, she kept up a good supply of freshly cooked food and plenty of it, she was also a mine of information of what to see and where to go in the area. She also looked after a disabled man who looked as if he was unsure of what to do, service like this is often hard to find. EXCELLENT. This hotel is ideally situated to explore the area, with the historic town of Jerome and the Jerome ghost town only 10 Minutes away, picturesque Sedona is only a 20 Minute drive and there are a lot of other historic places to explore. There a number of restaurants and cafes etc. within walking distance that give you a good choice for an evening meal. There is also a Walmart which is only 3 Minutes away. All the staff we had the pleasure of meeting were very friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, and had a pleasant stay. My wife and I definitely recommend this hotel, and are already making plans to stay here again, we will be staying at this hotel longer this time so that we can explore more of the historic and interesting sites in the area.

for the amount i paid for the room i am happy with the room given to me in this small town. service provided by front desk was very helpful and would only recommend if you need a room fast or if you have limited budget.

The employees here were friendly, helpful and efficient. We enjoyed our stay.The free breakfast was excellent and the staff kept everything hot and ready, despite a basketball team eating along with many other guests. They did this with a constant smile and polite conversation.

This motel didn't have any major tv channels which would include abc, cbs, nbc, espn, fs1, etc. Weird selection of junk channels is all that's available. Management people had a didn't seem to care. Hard to be stuck in a motel in peak football season and no tv coverage.

Very quiet and the room was good size. Staff was great and very helpful. The rooms could use a little updating, but overall it was great and I will stay their again.Great location and parking was close to room.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great housekeeping, beds and pillows not too comfortable but room was clean. Breakfast had a good variety, tasty and very clean room. Hours of service stopped at 9:00 am which was slightly inconvenient. Location was good.

The rooms were very clean.. hotel is in convenient location to major highways for sightseeing and shopping.. .. there was lots of hot & cold food selections for breakfast.. the staff was friendly and helpful. I hope to stay at this hotel again sometime in the future.

The staff is kind and attentive. The room I stayed in was very clean. Everyone around is friendly. The rooms are a bit dated but the bed was comfortable. The pillows arent that great. Overall if you need a good night sleep and a decent shower, this place is good. Again, the staff is so friendly.

Good size room, average decor, bed sheets were dirty and only one staff member on so no one able to get us clean sheets! Stated we were getting AAA discount but when we received our receipt there was no discount applied. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel.

Great clean, inexpensive hotel for time spent in Cottonwood. The rooms are clean and there is a refrigerator in the room. There is nothing fancy about the hotel, but you aren't paying for anything fancy. This is my second time staying here and I will stay here again if I need lodging in the Cottonwood area. There is also free breakfast in the morning, which is always a plus.

Stay only one night. But enjoyed everything except the breakfastr lady was too chattie. It made me feel she was trying for more tips. Everything else was exceptional. Thank you. We deliver to Cottonwood M. S. and just passing thru.

My sister and I were doing the National Parks in Az and UT. We tried to stay a BW as they were clean, reasonable and included breakfast, which eliminated an extra stop. This hotel was in a good location but more expensive than the other BW we stayed at. Other than the price it was a great hotel.

Last minute trip, they were clean and available in a convenient location. I woke up early and ready for the day. In-room coffee and a fridge were ready if I needed them. The breakfast offered could have had vegetable options, but otherwise, it was a nice last minute get away.

As with all hotels it's not easy to rate as one thing may be amazing while the other thing might not be. My room was large and quiet and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were closed for the season which kind of sucks when the day time temps are still quite abit above 70 so at least having a hot tub at night would be good. The hot breakfast provided was more than enough variety and the quality was good. The front desk person was friendly and checkin very smooth. I would recommend staying here for sure and will next time I come up this way.

BW is my preferred motel when traveling/touring, and this is the most run down motel of all that I have stayed in. Beds are horrid! However, the breakfast was as normal. I will not stay in this motel again, even if I will need to find another Brand motel. I am a Platinum customer and was really disappointed in the run down nature of this establishment. This is my initial review of any BW I have stayed in but I felt it necessary to voice my opinion on this one. This motel is in serious need of a remodel or upgrade to perform in the BW standards of appearance/quality/stature in the motel industry.

This was a very nice place to stay. Loved that it was close to Phoenix, Sedona and Jerome. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Employees were all nice, friendly and personable. I also liked that the rooms open up to the outside and not into a hallway. Had a great time!

we were staying for three nights to visit Sedona and surroundings. Cottonwood is a good alternative to overpriced Sedona. The drive to Sedona takes only 20 minutes and the hotel can easily be reached. There is a nice mexican restaurant right next door. The rooms were spacious and clean and the breakfast was good also. I would stay here again.

It's rare that I stay at a Best Western because I've been afraid of the name thinking it was a low budget hotel so it couldn't be a nice stay. To my dismay, I must admit, it was a much better stay than some of the more expensive hotels I've stayed in. It was a real treat staying at the BW in Cottonwood.

Great location, great staff. Will definitely stay there again. Beds and rooms were a bit outdated, but comfortable nevertheless. Didn't use the pool or jacuzzi, but looked clean and inviting. Didn't hear much noise, which was another bonus.

We stayed here this past weekend and what a great place. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with something for everyone. It was very quiet which is what we like. Overall, it was great.

We stayed at BW Cottonwood for 3 nights. While we felt the hotel needed some updating we were very happy with the help we received at the front desk. We were especially impressed with Jennifer in the breakfast room...... a "talented hostess" and a huge asset to your hotel!!!!

Room was spacious and staff very helpful and courteous. We found that this was a great value compared to Sedona rates but very close to hiking in the area and very close to Sedona activities. Perfect place to stay if you are wanting to enjoy the winery tasting rooms in old town cottonwood.

Warm & friendly welcome, the room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast, good food, well cooked & plenty of it served by friendly staff. Good location & easy to find. We definitely recommend a visit to this hotel.

I would love stay here again, no problem with that decision. Very nice everything! I did not check out the pool so can not comment about that. Great location but if coming from the east you could miss their sign due to shrub blocking it; but you could make that left turn and turn into the other side of the facility. I have stayed at another chain in this town and found it ridden with problems, not friendly, poor customer service with multiple problems encountered. So stay here.

Stayed two nights at the Best Western Cottonwood. Hotel is near a busy corner, but our room just back from the lobby was quiet and standard for a Best Western. Breakfast was the typical fare with waffles, muffins, oatmeal, and eggs/bacon/potatoes. Internet worked well in the room and easy to connect to. Huge surprise and disappointment came when I wanted to tune into the Diamondbacks game and a College game that were on. No sports Channels available on the TV. I have never experienced this anywhere. We ended up watching HGTV House Hunters a favorite of my wife, but even she was bummed that she could not watch her Diamondbacks play the Royals.

We showed up tonight with no reservation due to an unfortunate experience at a local campground that left us without anywhere to stay. Jennifer at the front desk was amazingly accommodating and gave us a discount even though we didn't ask. We were so grateful for her compassion during a difficult situation.

Sedona Clarkdale Jerome all right on short drive to be so centrally located to all the great places to visit even Prescott is a hop over Mingus mountain or a quick run down the 169 Cottonwood is small enough to feel small town but still have all the amenties needed great stay always at the cottonwood inn

Looking for a great place to stay while visiting Arizona, then make sure you visit the Best Western of Cottonwood. Rooms were clean, the hotel is located close to Sedona & Jerome. The staff including the manager could not have been any nicer and eager to help, or answer any questions you may have about the area.

We enjoyed our visit so much this past May that we chose this location again for a visit to Sedona and the surrounding area. The refrigerator in our room did not work, and the issue was resolved before the end of the second day of our stay. Although there is no microwave in the room, I learned that one is available in the breakfast room near the check-in lobby. There are several nice options during breakfast and hostess Jennifer made sure we had everything we needed.

they found me a room even though the town was busy with a biker rally - we ended up in one of their casitas - but it was pleasant and clean and very quiet with no one above or below us - hotel is easy to find and in the midst of a lot to see. WONDERFUL breakfast with hot scrambled eggs and bacon and waffles and fruit and fruit juice and cereal and sweet rolls and and and. A very nice breakfast - we would return if in the area again

5 star hotel at a 3 star rate. On the top of my list to stay when I go to this area. Spacious and quiet Casita rooms. Well set up for business travelers and families. Centrally located at the crossroads of all the local major highways. Very comfortable.

Room not ready as promised, sheets were paper thin and worn out. Overall average hotel stay for the price.blocation was near all the sites we visited and was near several restaurants and shops in Cottonwood and Clarkdale.

I was attending a film festival in Jerome and I usually stay in Jerome, but the hotels were either sold out or the prices hiked, so I checked Cottonwood just down the hill. I paid less than half of what I would've paid in Jerome and got a clean room. It looks like the hotel's been completely renovated. Courteous staff. Free hot breakfast in the mornings. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Foremost, the employees are all friendly. The room we had was dated, but kept exceptionally clean. Breakfasts were as varied as breakfasts can be, but good. More fresh fruit would have been good. We were there almost 2 weeks, and everything was satisfactory.

On our way to Sedona, stopped to see friends, got late, stayed the night, great little hotel, really good restaurants within a few steps, Mexican and Black Bear, great breakfast, easy on off to 89A, gas station next door also

As with all Best Westerns, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.. This location is perfect. Near 2 National Monuments, a short drive to Jerome, a short drive to Sedona and a short drive to old town.

The staff was very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the pool was inviting and spa was warm and comforting. The only thing we found to be a problem was the breakfast. They offered eggs, sausage, and gravy. They were all very salty.

I personally love Best Westerns. You know you are getting a pretty decent room and breakfast for a good price. From that perspective, this is an excellent hotel and I was very happy to stay here. I would rate this on the higher end of BW I have stayed in. The location is excellent, the staff very warm and friendly (really everyone I encountered in Cottonwood was), the room was very nice and clean, and we enjoyed the pool. The only small complaint was the breakfast room was a little small, and it was beyond capacity at 730 on a Sunday, but breakfast options were good (typical BW). My wife and I had so much fun in Cottonwood and enjoyed this hotel and we will return again soon!

We were very warmly greeted by the woman at the front desk. Pretty nice room. Pretty typical motel room. 2 issues. One was the shower control was very fickle and hard to get the desired temperature. Also there was a sign on ice machine..... Asking to not fill ice chests. Personally I think it's very small minded to turn off customers as they are leaving.... Just to save a few dollars. I left me with a very bad feeling to the whole place

The Cottonwood BW was clean. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. I would stay there again. The location of the motel was on our way to Verde Canyon Railroad. It was also located close to restaurants.

Clean rooms, breakfast was nice, very high in carbs, and no fresh fruit compared to other Best Westerns we have stayed in, but that is just a personal preference. It was good we only used the room to sleep in because it seemed smaller than some of the other Best Western Resorts we have stayed in. A/C was noisy.

Check-in was a little slow, as there was only one clerk and a van full of visitors beat us to the check-in desk. The staff was friendly and eager to answer the questions the tourists in front of us had. The property appeared to be maintained, as I didn't notice anything on the exterior which was problematic. We stayed in a casita, off the main building, and it was clean and fairly large with a small patio off the rear. Our room was towards the end of the building, away from the parking lot, so it was very quiet and had very little light intrusion into the room. The only complaint was the loud out-of-date a/c unit, which was made louder by a vibration inside of the unit. The property is located within walking distance of several restaurants and mini-marts for meals and snacks. We were only there for one night, but it was a pleasant experience.

I loved the Casitas. They were spacious with a little private patio in the back. It was quite and across the parking lot from the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was in the main lobby and was great. Not just bagels and coffee, but real food. The day we were there they had eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles and toast. I was very pleased with this hotel overall!

This hotel was minutes away from adventures. Jerome and all the hauntiness ( not sure that is a word). Haunted Burger is a great place to eat. What I would do is go there put your name on the list and walk around, since it takes about an hour to get in. There is a tour of the haunted mine, that was pretty neat. We loved swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The only bad thing I can say, was the beds were too hard

Great value in cleanliness, customer service and happiness of staff, close to sooo many great places to visit in the area, nice breakfast included. Reasonably upgraded. Pool and hot tub were pretty and having my room in front of it, I appreciated that the staff enforced the closing time policy so that the area was appropriately quiet for night.

Bad Bad experience here. When you walk into a room and a machine is there to extract the smoke... you know you have trouble. They knew about it and didn't offer another room! They said they didn't have any others with 2 double beds.... then the AC broke on top of it and they couldn't get it to work again, they did give me $20 off my account for that.... but man, it was HOT and SMELLY!!!!! We didn't even want to open a window as it's a motel and we didn't feel safe with only girls in the room... not happy. Breakfast was also not good. Just the typical stuff put out, nothing special (Other BW's have better foods!)

We stayed one night here. We have a small dog and preferred a casita, but they don't allow pets in the casitas (less people traffic on the sidewalks = less barking). Room was clean, had everything we needed. Great customer service in making our reservation, check-in, and at breakfast!!! Breakfast was well above my expectations. Enjoyed the hot tub! If I had to find any negative, it would be, no grass to walk our dog in (but I do understand I am in dry AZ). She doesn't know what to do without grass, took her to a park a few miles away. They do some kind of special deals with the railroad and Blazin M, but I had already made reservations there. Call the hotel FIRST before making those reservations, it might work to your benefit.

I had a housekeeping issue during my stay, but rather than focus on that, I'd like to focus on the excellent customer service I experienced during my stay. I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, not asking for anything in return, but because I thought they should know about the issue. The front desk agent quickly acknowledged the seriousness of my complaint, and was going to give me a discount on my room, but couldn't, because I was booked with Hotwire. That didn't stop her though, she documented my complaint and told me she would ask her manager for permission to issue a credit for my inconvenience. The next morning, when I checked out with a different agent, she (without me asking) confirmed that they were aware of the issue, and I would receive a phone call first thing Monday morning. And first thing Monday morning, they did call and confirmed that a credit was issued (which I did confirm was received). Excellent customer service. Excellent followthrough. Those are a dying breed these days, but this hotel owner should be proud of their staff.

My kids and I absolutely loved this hotel! The whole staff was amazing! Jennifer, the kitchen server made our trip memorable! She is very sweet and def an asset to this Best Western in Cottonwood. The blue pool made swimming seem more fun. :-)

Front desk was very accommodating by changing us to a first floor room since they don't have elevators and my sister could not climb stairs. The only complaint was the loud squeaky sound the toilet made. Neither one of us wanted to use it at night in order to avoid waking each other up.

Our first stay at this property and was there two nights. We were very happy to get the upgrade to one of their bungalows for being a Gold member; we had booked a basic room. The unit was nice and clean. A couple of nit-picky items and no biggie: no lid for the ice bucket and the light over the mini bar didn't work. However, we were very disappointed with the pillows; very small (maybe 15"x15") and lumpy. Not comfortable at all.

As a traveler this property was awesome. My room was one of the Casitas and I would highly recommend. I loved the private balcony. The room was Clean, Had plenty of Usable Outlets, Comfy bed and the breakfast items was diverse. Something for everyone. A definite return visit for me and high recommendation for others.

Very well kept and cared for. The staff care about the people that stay at the hotel. They are always saying hello or asking if they can help you with anything. As I like to sit outside and read, It was nice to sit in any area I found. Clean and well taken care of.

This hotel was great. The room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was hot, and the employee working the dining area was very helpful and friendly. The maid even made a bed for my daughters stuffed animals when she cleaned the room! My daughter loved that! Highly recommend!

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. The front desk was willing to answer any questions that I had. The cleaning staff was very nice, and did a great job with the rooms. Good complimentary breakfast. The woman who was in the breakfast area was very friendly,caring!! As soon as something ran out, or was running low it was replaced. The waffle maker was great. Room size was your average hotel room size. Just wish the TV had more stations to choose from.

I was not expecting much as the hotel is a exterior entrance medium cost facility similar to an Comfort Inn. However, I was really surprised how clean the room was and up to date. the beds were some of the best I slept in. Easy access to food and Cottonwood is a great place to hang out with wine tasting. Not a luxury hotel, but not to be afraid to take a couple night stay-management has to be one the ball to get the ratings it does for this mid cost hotel. Great job guys!

This is a nice place and the staff was helpful. Unfortunately their was a Harley Davidson gathering for the weekend in Jerome. The 5:30AM caravan to Jerome with all the bikers was VERY LOUD it was hard to get back to sleep. Good location with great restaurants nearby. I would stay there again, but not the same time as the bikers.

Nice place to spend a week near Sedona and other sites. Room was nice but bathroom fan was very loud and the outside trash was not picked up in a timely manor. Staff was very helpful, we would stay another time if in the area.

everything at this location was top notch !! side note ...we walked out of the mexican joint across the parking lot. employees have their little kids running around at 9 PM !! this has nothing to do with BW or the employees. hope this helps you on your trip ! on my way home and will be using BW when i get to area 51.

Young lady at check in was very helpful and I was able to check in early. Room was clean, decor was a bit dated, aire-conditioning was loud, but worked. Nice pool area but hours open 9 - 9 are a problem. The average daily temp during Summer in Cottonwood is 100 +. At 9 AM you have about 1/2 hour before pool looses all shade and Sun begins to blaze on pools reflective surface. I arrived at pool at 9 AM to find it closed for cleaning. 45 minutes later air temp was 90 and rising and the unshaded pool would have turned me into a lobster in short order. Summertime hours for pools need to take into account climate!

We stayed 2 nights here. Pool was great. Our room was close to the pool, easy to run back and use the bathroom or grab another drink. Breakfast was nice. Our girls enjoyed the donut holes at breakfast.

We arrived early & were allowed to check in. Had little trouble w/ cable. Maintenence man came in 5 minutes. Wi-fi wasn't working until we came back. Fourth of July in park was nice. Fry's served free hot dogs, hamburgers, & watermelon. Sold apple pie by slice or pie. Vendors served roasted corn& nachos. Watermelon eating contests for kids & adults. Military ceremonies were moving. Fireworks & patriotic music were amaaazing-- better than most!!

This hotel was very clean an the staff very friendly and helpful. The pool was great for the kids an well kept. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of choices, both hot and cold. The bathrooms are super small in the rooms is the only downside.

We had cockroaches in the room the service person was not there AC broke ants all over the patio. No shower curtain only given 20% discount should of not had to pay at least one night had to change rooms and pack and re pack. Was not offered any help poor!!!!!!!

Dirty halls and exterior- keys didn't work properly - internet awful - restaurant food ridiculous ran out of beer on tap - we had to move out of the first room they put us in because of the smell - front desk would not help with internet other than me phone number to call tv selection awful - tv was very poor quality

This is a nice clean, quiet Best Western. It's close to shopping and restaurants and other services. Easy to locate as it's near a main intersection in Cottonwood. The Mexican restaurant next door serves good food.

I would have given it 3 stars but we had 2 issues immediately upon check in that they took care of immediately. The refrigerator was off and the a/c had a bad fan bearing. They quickly turned on the fridge and replaced the entire a/c unit which was nice. It is a good central location.

We normally stay at Best Western's when we travel but after this last experience we will be looking for another Hotel to stay at. Not sure if this is true for all the locations but they no longer give you individual hygiene items. Everything was issued through a wall dispenser. I don't really like touching dirty used hygiene dispensers. There was no daily newspapers and the Breakfast was lacking at best. Was so bad that we went out for Breakfast for the remaining days of our stay. The Wi-Fi was horrible. Our devices kept crashing. Was a real pain to have to deal with. When we were checking out, we asked about the $10.00 a night reward. The desk clerk told us that he didn't know how to do this since his Supervisor hadn't trained him on it and that we would have to call back and talk to someone who could help us with this!

Not a good experience. Breakfast was pretty much horrible. Went one morning and it was so bad that we went out to other restaurants for Breakfast for our remaining stay. No more individual hygiene items. Wi-Fi was awful. Rooms are old and grungy. Need updating badly.

I go to Cottonwood at least 2 times a year. So far this is the only hotel that I have repeatedly stayed at... and yes I have tried others in town. It is a Best Western so expect that kind of quality. If you travel a lot you know what I mean. I think if in a regular size city it would be a $60 a night hotel. There is a gas station right next door which is very convenient. Breakfast is always good. It is also a hot breakfast which is really nice. Most of the other hotels of this type don't offer "Hot" breakfast.

I stayed here while in town for a conference . I was in a room that faced the pool, which for the summer months, really might not be a good idea as it was quite noisy. Ask for a room away from the pool if you need it quiet in the early evening. The room was very clean and had a coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. The push button shampoo, conditioner and bath gel are very outdated and did not smell good at all. Same with the push button lotion. Bring you own if you want to. There was a hair dryer and lots of towels for the room. Breakfast was the basic continental and was good.

Had a great time. No issues or problems at the hotel. Good value and central to our visiting the Grand Canyon, Red Rock Park, Montezuma's Well and Montezuma's Castle. Their pool and Jacuzzi are exceptionally clean and comfortable, a great place to stay when visiting the Sedona area.

If you love friendly staff, clean rooms, and a pool this is the stay for you. I came here with family and use this place for multiple reasons. I am a local in cottonwood and I highly recommend this to anyone! I could go on and on about how friendly everyone is here but really just check it out for your self.

This amy be the nicest and most comfortable Best Western we have ever stayed in. The place was in excellent condition, and it's obvious the owners and staff care about how well the property is maintained. The staff were all amazing as well.

We were passing through and after checking the (high) prices in Sedona, decided to stay here. This worked well as we were continuing on to Jerome & Prescott. This hotel was very nice. The manager checked us was quick and efficient and provided recommendations for restaurants. The room was clean and well kept. There is a Mexican restaurant on site that was good - very convenient. Breakfast the next morning was nice, with two attendants making sure everything was in order (I hate it when you have to track someone down because the coffee is out or something!). I would definitely go back again.

Nice hotel, clean, great shower, comfortable. Next to a great Mexican restaurant(try the tamales). The Black Bear Diner is across the street is a wonderful place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They are known for their large quantity of food on the plates.

We have been here for 2 nights. Room is nice, a little small but ok, pool is nice, breakfast was pretty good, food was hot. Staff has been nice. Older place but pretty taken care of. Dog friendly but is $20 A night for a dog. Great Mexican restaurant right next door

The Best Western in Cottonwood AZ. is a nice place to stay, the room was very nice. The breakfast was very good and plenty of it ,just as good as you would get at a restaurant. The location in town was also convenient and wright off the highway.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We had a casita which allowed us to be somewhat segregated from the main body of the hotel. The clerk who checked us in was friendly and helpful answering our questions. The hotel was full and the next morning the breakfast lady allowed us and another few people to eat a little early. The breakfast is varied but it has limited seating. You can take your breakfast back to you room if you wish. The biggest thing for me was the nice lady allowed me to get coffee even before she was finished setting up the breakfast. There is a Mexican restaurant in front of the hotel that was alright and if you do not want to do more driving it is just a walk away.

Staff is super friendly! Rooms are clean, nice pool and hot tub. Close to Sedona and Jerome. Hot complementary breakfast. Pool is fenced in and has nice sitting areas. Next door to a convenience store and Mexican restaurant.

The bad: Grumpy and very unhelpful check in staff. Someone else's soap and hair in our shower. The good: The rest of the room was clean, and the check out staff was excellent. The breakfast wasn't bad, even for a vegan (they had hot oatmeal with toppings and fruit).

Our family group was in town for a wedding.Staff was great from time we opened car door. Willingly carried our luggage. Rooms Clean, Nice Mt. view 220 side, Nice clean pool. Breakfast was surprisingly good. We used complimentary computer and printer as well. Over all a wonderful experience. Thanks to all!

Hotel was very nice service was excellent.The car club was uniformly pleased with our stay. The parking was tight but we all managed to find a spot.Wenhad a good time with the various amenities . Old Town is very quaint.

For being on the main drag in Cottonwood this Best Western is very quiet. The grounds are immaculate, the staff is friendly, the coffee pot works, the rooms are very nice and there is a very nice Mexican Restaurant about 100 feet away )depending on where your room is located. The full breakfast is very good and the folks handling the buffet serve a very nice smile even at 0600. Also, the coffee is excellent, fresh and hot. I have 2 very minor issues: 1) I would like a small microwave in the room. 2) The Mexican restaurant is so popular that many of their diners use the hotel parking lot leaving fewer spaces for hotel guests. I travel to Cottonwood frequently and this is always a clean and quiet place to stay.

I think most folks stay here as a part of a Sedona trip, it is certainly a less expensive alternative and better quality than the lower priced Sedona options. Roomy, very clean, good beds and linens. A little dated but not much. Fridge, in-room coffee, and breakfast...with a very friendly and helpful attendant. Good customer service.

Cottonwood is a relatively small town and yet it has most of the conveniences of a larger city. We chose to stay in Cottonwwod instead of Sedona because of price. Cottonwood is only a 20 min drive away. There are plenty of restaurants and groceries stores around. The beautiful immaculate conception parish is only a 5 min drive if you want to attend mass on Sunday. This BW is a no frills hotel with the layout of a motel. The rooms are clean. Decor is a little outdated. They cater to the older crowd. All the other guests I met were very considerate and friendly. The best part of my stay was meeting Jennifer, the lady would managed the breakfast area. The breakfast itself was nothing to write home about but Jennifer went an extra mile to make us feel welcome and her bubbly personality sure put a smile on everyone's face. Well done Jennifer.

Good location, lots of room; customer service has always done what we needed. Good pool. Safety of rooms is very good. Checking in and out is easy. Last min rooms usually available. Knowledgeable of activity going on around town and places to eat and see.

The Best Western Cottonwood Inn is located right off of Main (Hwy 89A) and Hwy 260, providing easy access to all nearby sites, including Old Town Cottonwood and Jerome. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Our rooms included comfortable (firm) King bed, chair, desk/chair, mini refrigerator, coffee maker and usual bath amenities. Our rooms were in the front of the complex, so we did not really enjoy a good night's sleep due to the street noise and the gas station / convenience store that was very close to the property. The room's air conditioning unit added more noise as it ran intermittently throughout the night. (We shut it off the second night). There is a Mexican restaurant right next to the hotel. (We tried it and would recommend something else nearby). And the Black Bear Diner is a just across the street. The hotel's complimentary breakfast includes hard boiled eggs, waffles, toast, biscuits, muffins, scrambled (powdered) eggs, bacon, coffee, juice, and selection of cereals. Staff members at the Cottonwood Inn were generally pleasant and accommodating, offering directions and suggestions for nearby sites and restaurants. There is also a desktop computer for guest use in the lobby.

On our way to Sedona siteseeing. Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Location close to several eating places within walking distance. Pool and hot tub area very inviting. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff went above and beyond in their frienlynesss. Would stay here again if I was in the area.

The Cottonwood Best Western was a very quiet hotel, considering they did not have hardly any rooms left. My room was very clean, comfortable and quite. No road noise at all. The internet was very slow, but I account that to all the guest on it at the same time.

We have stayed in their casita's many times, always enjoyable. But we were a little astounded at the rate increase this time but it was our anniversary and went for it. Everything was perfect until Sunday morning when the water was suddenly shut off with out in previous notice. Luckily we had both showered. When questioned at the front desk the girl said well I tried to call and leave you a message, I said I am really sorry but you didn't we have been in the room all morning. No offer of a discount, nothing. It really isn't fun getting ready without water even in an emergency they could have offered late check out something to accomodate us having to go to the office to use the bathroom facilities to finish getting ready. We have never been treated this way at this location, don't know what is going on..

We stayed in Cottonwood after riding the Verde Canyon Railroad. We were a group of 15 and I booked six rooms at the Best Western Cottonwood Inn. This motel really worked out for us. I was nervous about the reservations being correct and called to be sure. It was all correct. We had good lighting, a small frig, and the split bathroom with a sink and long counter outside shower and toilet is always welcome to groups of women. The quality breakfast was unexpected, with scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, as well as yogurt and fruit. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here one night on our way from Vegas to Phoenix after an afternoon at the Grand Canyon, and was pleasantly surprised at the room. I had doubts about the noise level as we we were arriving with the location but we were in a room at the rear of the property and it was fine. My husband and son grabbed a muffin from the breakfast room on their way out for an early morning Sedona tour and the location was a good spot to explore all the sights we had on our list for the day. Great overnight stay.

After checking the prices of the BW's in Sedona we decided to stay in Cottonwood. It was a great decision. If you want to explore the Coconino National Forest, you could not have a more central location. You are still a short drive away from the Sedona area, the National Heritage sites and Jerome. Jennifer at the front desk gave us some dinner recommendations that we would never have discovered during our stay. The breakfast staff was excellent and the quality of the breakfast offerings were way above average. Even the oatmeal was good! Both my wife and I noticed how quiet the rooms were. We did not hear any sounds from the adjoining rooms. Very clean, and the mattress was really comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Cottonwood, AZ. The staff was friendly and our beds were really comfortable. The town is awesome and there are great choices for restaurants and shopping. We will be back, for sure!

We were upgraded because of our Best Western membership to a Casita. Weather was too cold to enjoy the patio. Very helpful person at the front desk. Nice breakfast too! City and hotel close to Jerome. So if Jerome is booked on a weekend, stay here.

Double the cost of our last stay and constant noise. People in the next room wouldn't be quiet. Screaming kids and loud adults too. Had problems with Internet and TV. Went to breakfast in the morning and very little/no food left.

Would have been a 5 if the breakfast room had been larger . Hard to enjoy a meal that is cold before you can sit down to eat it, also very inconvenient to have to take your breakfast back to your room.

Visited this hotel 12 years ago and liked it, thought we stay again. Very friendly staff, rooms nice and clean. The outdoor pool is well maintained. Breakfast included in stay. They even have a washer & dryer for doing laundry during your travels, which I did use.

The staff at this location were very nice. The room was nice. The TV was a little difficult to work although they had very extensive instructions printed and placed with the remote. I would recommend this facility to my family and friends.

We swam in the pool & relaxed in the hot tub. The room was comfortable, four pillows on each queen bed is always a plus! We used the tv & the Internet was fast. I was bummed to miss the doughnut holes at breakfast but everything else was hot & a good variety.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at for visiting Sedona and Jerome,both within a 30 minute drive.The room was wonderful and staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We also made a day trip to the Grand Canyon. Although the day was long, the value of the stay was worth it.

Needed to find an inexpensive location near Sedona and this was the place. It was clean and in a good location. The breakfast was great and the room served its purpose but was a little dated. The bed was comfortable.

This is for all you tourist out there, if you are wanting to visit Sedona and you are on a budget do not stay in Sedona. Cottonwood is just a hop, skip and a jump from Sedona and will afford you a much cleaner, updated and family welcoming hotel for less money. It was a breath of fresh air to spend the night here at the Best Western Cottonwood Inn after spending the night in Sedona and being gouged for a mediocre room with not even cable TV. You are in walking distance to places to eat, a grocery store and some shopping if you choose. Cottonwood is not far from Jerome, the Verde Valley train ride, Flagstaff and other gems to tickle your itch for sightseeing Arizona's treasures. The staff was friendly and was very responsive to some loud party goers in the room next to ours. I've found my go to hotel!

Very nice stay. Quiet, clean and friendly. Good location and priced reasonably. Would recommend to travelers. Staff was accommodating, beds firm and clean. Shower was mediocre but overall happy with stay.

Tried to make reservation for family members, by the time I filed out all information needed the site timed out and I had start from the beginning. Bad web site design! Finally I vhose a different hotel.

We stayed for one night on a touring vacation. Room nice and clean, had a problem with WiFi, which was sorted out for me. good place to stay, plenty of eating places around. Very good breakfast, good assortment of things to eat and drink. Very well maintained breakfast room.

This is an older hotel or appears to be. check in met with a less than helpful staff member, her clothes were wrinkled and appearance and manner were less than what you would expect. the rooms are clean but drab. The grounds were clean but also drab with no Holiday displays like surrounding businesses. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful but others seemed to be ho hum about the job they hold. Hard bed.

My bias is toward cleanliness and comfortable beds. This property has both. I rate mattress comfort 8 of 10 and they have actual firm pillows along with softer ones. The room and property were very clean. The breakfast attendant was exceptionally positive and friendly which is great in the morning. They have a new coffee and hot water dispenser that makes the coffee fresh. It wasn't fantastic coffee, but it was fresh and hot. The breakfast food however was just mediocre. There was no real butter (instead a "whipped spread" which is toxic), there was no cream cheese. They do have the make your own waffles if you are into that. We had a second floor room at the back of the property which was quiet albeit dated. The floor shook and vibrated the bedside table lamp every time we moved around and I thought the folks below us were probably not enjoying that. The staff overall was excellent and very oriented toward customer service. This property is 20 minutes away from West Sedona and makes a good alternative at half the price.

This was our first stay at this property. We requested a first floor room and booked a handicapped room as this property does not have an elevator. The hotel has a large parking lot to park right near your room which is great. The rooms all have outside corridors. There is a restaurant that is right in the parking lot in front called Plaza Bonita which we ate dinner at and watched the TV( Cubs baseball) in the bar area. Wonderful food and service and convenient. The staff was pleasant at check in. The room had a queen bed, a table with 2 chairs, a handicap bathroom with pull down bench seat in the walk in shower -although my DH managed to get water all over the floor, so be careful, and a refrigerator. The breakfast was good the next morning and the place was packed about 8 to 8:30am(because I went to go get coffee) on a Saturday, but we waited closer to 9am to actually go get breakfast when both of us were dressed/showered and ready and not too busy. There was sausage patties, a cheese omelet, & make your own waffles for the hot dish and cereal, mini muffins, yogurt,coffee,juice, water, milk. The pool and hot tub were closed for the winter, they are outside. Good thing I didn't bring my suit for the hot tub. Would be nice if they left the pool area open for just the hot tub, but they are behind a fence together. The weather was not too cold yet, so not sure why it was closed? There is one washer and one dryer coin operated in a little alcove on the outside by the pool for guest use. For a 1 night stay it was perfect place for us after riding the Verde Canyon train for their Ales on the Rails. The price was about what we wanted to pay. If in the area again we would consider staying.

We stayed here one night while visiting local wineries and Jerome. The hotel is conveniently located on the main highway next to a Mexican restaurant. Check in was quick and friendly. When I asked for a quiet room, as a Best Western member, I was offered a free upgrade to a Casita in the back. It was a very quiet, large room. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and the TV/Internet worked fine. Breakfast had a reasonable assortments of eggs, waffles, cereals and breads, as at most moderate priced hotels. Who could ask for more from a Best Western?

The check in was smooth, and the lady at the desk was very attentive to our needs. The breakfast was great, and the lady taking care of the breakfast area was very friendly and brightened our day. Recommended!

This is just an average hotel in Cottonwood, which I think is all there is in this town. The rooms were decent and clean. Our room was at the back of the motel, but we had noisy neighbors one night, and could practically hear their conversation just on the other side of the wall, that's how thin the walls are. There also seemed to be a lot of single males staying here, so I think this hotel must be where a lot of utility workers stay when they are in town. We would have liked to use the spa, but there were always men in there, and me and my mother never felt comfortable with that idea. I did not like it when the cleaning person took away my roll of Charmin toilet paper either. I would stay in another nearby town if I came to this area again.

just ok. Good location but an older property in need of updating. Staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. There are not a lot of options in Cottonwood. Can't beat the location. Close to Sedona too. We took the Verde Valley Railroad trip and really liked Ol Town Cottonwood which we only a few miles away. We stayed in what they called a "Casita". This room was very quiet.

The place was nice and clean. The Continental breakfast was pretty decent. If you need a place to stay for overnight then I suggest this place. It's located about the middle of town with plenty of restaurants close by to eat.

The location was very good for visiting the Sedona and surrounding areas. Nights were quiet. Breakfast bar quite busy with fairly limited seating. Easy parking. A complimentary small map of the area would be such a big help as the Hwy. signs don't always state: North, or South along with town locations.

We were in the casita at the back of the hotel, so was very quiet and was on 1 level. It was very nice and roomy, also had a patio. The breakfast was good, hot and cold items, also 3 choice of juices and coffee.

We picked this hotel because it was close to Sedona. Prices for hotels in Sedona are up, up, up. It was only about a 20 minute drive. The room was very nice. BW put us in the casitas. They were across the parking lot from the storied motel. Attached rooms were large, had microwave and fridge. Even a patio with enclosed walls. Breakfast was OK. Powered scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals juice and coffee. Will stay again if in the area.

The front desk receptionists are outstanding and very professional. The general manager, Christine Carrillo, definitely leaves quite a bit to be desired in terms of professional courtesy. My family had to cancel plans due to a medical emergency. Unfortunately, we had booked through hotels.com and had to liason with them to cancel our booking. Hotels.com tried to negotiate and explain the situation on our behalf. Our request for cancellation and refund was rejected. We tried to call the hotel directly and explain the situation, and could even provide legitimate documentation as to the medical emergency. But Christine Carrillo feels neither the need to answer her office phone or return messages. Very, very disappointing establishment.

Ended up here because road was closed going home, tried another hotel first saw the room and drove here. SO GLAD WE DID! Staff was incredible, room was clean and large. Great Mexican restaurant sharing parking lot, perfect place to stay!

Good location. Desk staff at late afternoon checkin needed help. One person on desk on a Friday trying to handle multiple check-ins, phone calls, and walkie-talkie calls apparently from staff, was just overwhelmed. Not a pleasant experience for guests watching. Room was fully functional, a plus. But smelled musty until we opened door and window. Foam pillows smelled odd. Room was clean. We'd stay here again as we prefer Best Western to local non-affiliated hotels. The room was quiet and very comfortable. WiFi worked well.

I have stayed at this Best Western a few times for business and have always had a good experience. The rooms are clean, large, and quiet. They have refrigerators in the rooms, but no microwave. That would be my only complaint. As someone that travels sometimes for work I stay exclusively at Best Western whenever possible. I usually have a great experience with Best Western and this hotel doesn't fall short of that. The staff are always friendly and pleasant to interact with. I would recommend this Best Western for anyone looking to stay in this area.
