"VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!"

First of all, be prepared for the hidden $50 "incidental" charge...you will be required to allow them to charge an additional $50 to your credit card (above an beyond whatever rate you are going to pay for your room) at the time you check-in. They will refund it to your card within 7-10 days after you checkout (as long as you don't steal anything or damage the room). Second, the night clerk must have been having a really bad night...she was very rude and not interested in anything except whatever she had going on in the room behind the check-in counter (asked if the rooms had a folding luggage rack in them...her response was "I don't go into the rooms, so I really don't know. If there is one in the room when you get up there then "Yes", if there isn't one in the room, then "No"!!!!) Third, the A/C on our floor was broken (fortunately the A/C in the room worked), so when you left your room it was like walking into a sauna. The same night clerk responded "Yes, we are aware that it is broken on that floor, but management has not decided to fix it yet!!!"

I came to CORSCICANA, TX to visit family. This hotel was perfect! The room size was perfect for our family. 3 kids 7,6,&1 and my husband and I. We brought the kids to swim in the pool, we had breakfast every morning and they had different choices daily. And staff was really nice. Just put 4 stars cause in between the bed there were crumbs of some kind that got me worried if the floors were cleaned. But, the room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and everywhere else was very clean.

Nice place to stay. Convenient to Interstate 45 and main roads to town. Quiet and plenty of self-parking. Some areas have been remodeled. Carpet in rooms are clean but shows wear. Excellent value. There are not many choices for budget rooms in the area, and this one is a good choice.

"pleasantly surprised"

We stopped in Corsicana very late at night on our way back to Austin from a wedding in Tyler, Texas. Living in Austin, we are accustomed to having a large selection of really nice hotels to choose from, and I was a little reluctant to stop at a small town chain inn for the night, but we were pleasantly surprised. The person who checked us in at almost one o'clock in the morning, Dustin, was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the lady who was helping in the breakfast area Sunday morning, Helen, was super sweet and helpful. Overall it was a nice stay.

We arrived late but were greeted with smiles and welcome. They had suggestions for dinner and offered a reminder about breakfast in the morning. Manager was very nice while training a new assocate. greated other guests as they came in for night. nice.

"Cockroaches"

I stopped at this hotel on my way home from Dallas. The first room I was given was locked from the inside as though someone already occupied it. The second room I was given had cockroaches in it, one which came from behind the hand towel I had used. I had just changed into my PJs, but when I saw that roach, I changed and left. I expect more from BW. I won't use this location again.

Eddie, I was shocked when i heard of this issue, it seems as though this was an isolated issue that was brought into the hotel from a previous guest. The room was sprayed immediatly by staff as well as a visit from Orkin the following day. All surrounding rooms were thoroghly inspected and sprayed as a precaution and no further issues were found. "Too much Light with Lumpy Bed"

Most Best Westerns are pretty good but this one needs a lot of improvement. Too much light came through the door and curtains. We had to use close pins for the middle of the curtains and stack objects along the sides of the curtains as well as placing towels around the door. The walls are paper thin allowing too much noise and the bed was unusually lumpy. The carpet was also heavily stained. I moved the sofa to compare the carpet. The lady attending the breakfast area was very nice and kept the room clean, unfortunately there are too many other hotels in the area to risk coming back here again.

Dear Sir, I personally went and checked BOTH rooms that you were checked into and i saw not a single stain on the carpets. These carpets are brand new and the entire hotel was re-carpeted just a few months ago. The "spots" you are seeing is the way the carpet lays down when someone walks or moves something like a vacuum over it. Housekeeping services are done daily in every room, and this does include carpet cleaning and stain removal as we want our new carpets to last a long time.

This was our second visit to the Corsicana TX area. We stayed at a pricier hotel for our first stay and it was nice. We opted for the Best Western for our second visit and it was just as nice, if not nicer, for about $75/night less. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was great. The lady in charge of the breakfast area, Helen, was awesome - so sweet and accommodating. She was cleaning up the whole time we ate - it had to be one of the cleanest breakfast areas we have ever encountered. They were getting new furniture for the entry way and rooms while we were there - can't wait to go back and see the updates!

"Shelter in the Storm"

We were on our way to San Antonio when we were caught in a terrible storm and could not drive safely. I called just 15 minutes ahead of arrival, asking for a room. The clerk, Brandy, was very helpful and told me she would hold a room for us. We were very pleased with her attention to our situation.

We spent one night here for a trip to Waco as it was way more reasonable than anything in Waco. The hotel is clean and comfortable but the rooms are a little outdated and some of the lights in our room didn't work. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and the A/C was booming.

I did want to let you know that i personally went and checked your room and determinded that one of the light switches on the wall, was not in the on position causing some of the lights in the room not to turn on. These room are designed to have the lightswitch turn lights on and off as well as switches on lamps themselves. In the future please do not hesitate to call the front desk for help.

This hotel was very clean. Conveniently located right off the HWY. Reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful with an issue we had with a loud neighboring guest. Generous breakfast and fast checkout.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciate the breakfast staff person being there early and has a neat clean place to eat and food ready. The hotel is clean and beds comfortable.I really only ask for clean and comfortable with friendly staff.

Brandy at the front desk was so helpful and friendly at check-in and all during the evening of our stay. The hotel is convenient to I-45. The rooms are very clean. The room rate is very reasonable. The beds are comfortable and we recommend this hotel and we plan on staying here again in the future. The hotel is a great value for the dollar.

This Best Western is located just off the Highway on the main road through town, Restaurants and shopping all easy to get to from here. Plus the checkin/checkout staff, the same girl, was very cheerful and friendly. The room was nice. No complaints.

We stay at this hotel when visiting family. The location is good, the beds are very good. The hotel is quiet, no road noise from the highways. The breakfast is okay - three choices for cold cereal, sausage and eggs, waffles, sometimes bananas are available. Not crazy about the coffee .

A reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast was adequate, however, the eggs left a lot to be desired. Would consider this facility in the future if I was planning a stop in the area. The local newspaper should be replaced by a paper from the Dallas area.

The hotel is easily located, and has plenty of tractor/trailer parking and a convenience store across the street! My room was clean, my bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. Priced right! I recommend this location. :-) Hayley made the difference, with her awesome customer service skills!

This hotel is an older BW property, of lower quality that is obviously undergoing a renovation so they can charge more money. Let me say first that we very much like the BW brand, have stayed there extensively, have spoken with corp management on more than one occasion ifound them intelligent, helpful and responsive, and have had very enjoyable experiences overall. This hotel is not up to their normal standard, much less the Executive level. Let me be be specific...(not necessarily in order of importance) 1.There is no hot tub - this is usually part of an Executive product offering. 2.The internet sucks. Download sp. eeds are pathetically slow. REDICULOUS! 3. The first thing we had to do was work on the glitchy cable connection. Dumb! 4. Bedding was ok, but felt "hollow" in terms of its qualtiy. Not a luxurious experience, and bedding is the key to a good stay - and not expensive to upgrade. 5. New carpet and paint couldnt hide the lower quality facility. 6. Odor was unpleasant. 7. You could tell it was not a nicer BW by the number of highway construction workers there with their trucks. Yellow vested workers everywhere - strange comment I know but I usually like to stay at places a little nicer than where hourly manual laborers are centered. Take it for what its worth. I dont have to be PC, just honest so others can make a better decision. 8.Front desk personnel were ok, but could have been much nicer and more helpful. 9. Breakfast had no color, fresh fruit or veggies or any appeal whatsoever. Could not get out fast enough at breakfast time to go elsewhere - and it was included in my room price. 10. Soap (somewhat universally) at motels is an unpleasant and greasy experience. Here too. 11. Strangely, the washrags felt like sandpaper on my face and private parts. Wife commented on it too. Maybe they are made with polyester to make them more durable. DONT DO THAT. Use nice quality, thick, soft wash rags and towels. 12.Sinks, chrome and tiles were worn out and in need of replacement. 13.We stayed on a mid week night in November. Obviously not a sell out night. They put us right accross from the elevator, which was noisy. Not sure why. 14. THE MOST ANNOYING PART OF BW IS THEY ACT LIKE YOU STOLE FROM THEM WHEN YOU BOOK WITH A THIRD PARTY. THEY CALL YOU OUT FOR IT, TELL YOU THE BEST PRICE FOR A ROOM IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE ON THEIR SITE (NOT) AND CAP IT OFF BY DENYING YOU YOUR POINTS FOR BOOKING WITH ONE OF THEIR HIRED AGENTS (BOOKING, HOTELS.COM PRICELINE, ETC). DUMB DUMB DUMB. ALIENATES CUSTOMERS. YOU HIRED THE THIRD PARTY AND GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION THEY POST ON YOUR BEHALF. OWN IT AND CORRECT THE PENALTY YOU IMPOSE ON YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR USING THE BEST MOST LIQUID, MODERN AND TRANSPARENT PRICING TOOLS.

Here at Best Western we are not required to have a hot tub; as you stated yourself you can see we are in the middle of hotel renovations and undergoing a full remodel. This will include new furnishings for all bedrooms. This is an Expensive process and yes it does need to be done in steps. I do want to apologize that you were not pleased by our property. However our internet is top rated for our city. Our pillows, blankets and towels are all fresh and less than a month old. The odor you were referring too, in the fresh paint that we have applied (signs all over hotel warning guests of this) our free Full hot breakfast DOES include fresh Apples, oranges and Bananas daily, as well as fresh Eggs, yogurt and biscuits and gravy. Lastly I would like to assure you that booking thru a 3rd party does not disqualify you for using your BW rewards, nor does it always get you a better price for your room. By booking directly thru hotel instead of using a 3rd party, this will also allow us to offer discount or refunds, within a reasonable amount of time depending on issue to guests who are not satisfied. In the future, please tell the Front desk personnel know that you were not happy with your room; We never received a single complaint while you were here in house. This is a great little hotel that's just been remodeled. Everything was excellent, only ding might be the quality of the beds which I would only rate as very good - The hotel is a bit far from some of the other amenities in corset Kanae such as the movie theater and their outlet mall area, but rooms were very quiet, very clean, and staff was really great

I have stayed here off an on since April. The remolding is almost complete. The staff and owners are very helpful. I have since from April to October stayed 27 days and will stay here again on my next trip. Newly painted, new carpet, etc. Great place to stay for a night or a few.

This newly remodeled hotel has a fresh appearance. The staff was helpful in getting us into a room early to change clothes for a wedding we were attending. Breakfast choices were good, including yogurt, boiled eggs, cereals, oatmeal, bread, sweet rolls, eggs, 2 kinds of sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juices.

My husband and I stay on this property every year for the races and let me say from last year to this year it has a beautiful face lift. The interior from top to bottom has been remodeled and is gorgeous. We were greeted by a girl full of tattoos and smiles, who turn out to rock. We had to wait for her to check in 2 other people and get interaction with everyone was constant and genuine. She got everyone check in very quickly while at the same time kind of getting know people. We got the pleasure of have her on the front desk the 2 days we were there. The rest of the staff was always full of "hi, how r you?" And be smiles. We will deffently be back next year!

This is such a great Hotel. With an Amazing staff who went above and beyond to help me out. Jessica & Suru the Managers were both warm and pleasant to deal with. I was acknowledged as a member and offered help every time i passed by desk by many different Front Desk workers. Room was clean, Brand New Carpet! Freshly Painted walls, you do not see much mess, but can clearly see that the Hotel is under remodel and is looking GREAT! I will look forward to next Months Trip.

I had to stay a night cause I was driving through and I had one of the best experiences I've ever had at a hotel. Jessica, the girl I dealt with was an absolute pleasure to deal with and made sure that I was taken care of. The staff was very friendly and it was very clean. I don't do these types of things often but I felt that I really needed to this time. Give that girl a raise!

Not a pleasure trip by any means. Ample parking, well-lighted at night. Carts are available to transport luggage, but the elevator is practically full with one cart & 4 people. Brandy, the lady at the front desk, was friendly & helpful during check-in and when we arrived at the room. Discovered some of the electrical outlets were inoperative, when I connected my laptop & phone charger. The antenna connection to the TV was apparently loose. Initially, had a very snowy picture, but when I rotated the TV to access the control panel, the picture cleared up just fine & there were no further issues. The bed was quite comfortable, but unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy it very long. Room was very quiet. The ice machine & vending were on the 1st floor only ... a bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast was just average, but filling. The sausage & gravy was quite good, but the eggs (fake?) were completely tasteless. A 24-hour convenience store is next door ... nice.

Room was very good with exception of cable TV reception being a bit fuzzy. Counter staff was great on check-in since I did not have a reservation and went out of their way at checkout to help me resolve an issue...extremely pleasant and helpful!

Room was clean and staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was very good, better than most breakfasts in motels. Parking lot was wet lit and secure. Definitely will stay here again if in the area.

Best Western Hotels, where we stayed, were clean, staff was very helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. My wife and I stayed at the BW in Waco, Texas 2 nights. We visited Magnolia Farms, where my wife lived as a child and one of the bridges where the bronze statues of cowboys herding the long horn steers.

I had to evacuate for hurricane Harvey and best western took great care of my family. Their rooms were clean staff was friendly and assisted in filling out tax paperwork. If I come to Corsicana again I will definitely stay at best western.

I arrived late and staff knew my name as soon as i said I had a reservation. They had me in a room within 3 minutes. Loyalty was recognized and the hotel went far beyond expectations. Very polite and welcoming.

The room was nice. Only stayed one night as we were traveling through to Houston. What was impressive was the service from the staff. As we were driving I received a phone call from the front desk want to know if we really wanted the multiple rooms reserved under my name. I said my reservation was only for one room. After calling expedia to confirm, I thought all was settled. But got a second call saying that the mistake was not fixed and she was trying to save me from the cancellation fee. I really appreciated her working on this and by the time we arrived, she and her manager had fixed the snafu.Really great customer service!

The staff was helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a king suite without asking. The placed us on the first floor just off lobby. The room was very quite. Will be staying here again. The breakfast was hot and well maintained.

This Best Western is perfect. Jessica and Kimberly took care of me. It is well worth the value and close to town. Pool is great and parking is ideal. It's on a major hiway next to I45 and you can get to town Quick. Stay there every time I'm in Corsicana.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and quite. Everything was just as you would want it to be when your away from home and weary from traveling. It was difficult to find but not so bad once we spotted it in the dark.

I stayed at this hotel in August 2016 while in town working on a large project and then again in June 2017 as part of a continuation of that work. Despite being mid-renovation and having a large group of people coming and going at all hours, the management did a wonderful job of making sure that we were taken care of and had everything we needed. If we found ourselves coming back to Corsicana for a third time, we would certainly stay there again. They did everything possible to make our visit efficient and enjoyable!

Wanted a quiet, clean place to spend the night after being at a lake all day and this place was it!. It has been updated and looks very nice. The complimentary breakfast was also good. We'll stay here again.

I stay here a few times per year when visiting family. Always friendly, clean & a great value. Great location just off the freeway but very quiet. In the middle of some nice renovations. Would recommend!

I love coming to this best western in Corsicana, Texas! The staff is always so friendly and they do everything to make you feel at home. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic with eggs , sausage , bacon , waffles and also oatmeal and cereal and hot coffee , Hot cocoa tea and multiple types of juices, plus more ! The temperature in the rooms is just right and you can set it however you like very simply Also I slept so deeply on this tripand the beds are very comfortable I can't wait to go back!

Lady that checked me in was kinda harsh. I've stayed at a lot of Bestwestern over the last 4 years. This motel doesn't seem to care about me. On 6/13/2017 had dunk people outside my window yalling at each other at 11:45pm woke me up. Police where called by someone and came out2 times. Called front desk at 12am and I asked when the pool closes she it didn't tonight is what she was told. This yalling then started inside the motel halls and slamming room doors then back out side. This went on tell around 1:30am. Lady at front desk did nothing to stop this all this crap. I'm thinking about going somewhere else. I'm supposed to stay tell around the 25th of this month.

Had to call to get room cleaned. Told that they didn't make beds in Texas unless you requested. At 5:00 in the afternoon, no clean towels. Pool area was disgusting. We were not told there was renovation being done. Bugs were everywhere.

Overall, it's a good hotel for the price. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Close to shopping, if you're interested in that stuff. It had everything that I needed. I didn't try pool, exercise room or the business center.

Very nice hotel. No major complaints. Breakfast is OK. Very quite. Some remodeling happening. Disappointed they are charging a two day minimum for special events. I45 is under construction (6/2017) so be careful.

Linens appeared to be unchanged, floor not vacuumed, hair on bathroom floor, dirty bathroom counter. At checkout, the clerk stated they were having problems with workers. I told her that didn't mean floors couldn't be vacuumed or linens changed.

"HORRIBLE! The WORST PLACE EVER!"

It was a horrible experience! Bugs where everywhere! I had to kill roches numerous of times plus nats were flying everywhere I couldn't even sleep. I slept with the light on because who knew what would've crawled out with the lights off! I was scared the bugs would fly in my mouth! Furthermore, I pulled back the sheets and they were dirty, additionally a receipt from two days prior was within the sheets which means the sheets weren't even CHANGED; plus it smelled moldy in the room so I had to light a candle! Also, they are remodeling and you aren't even informed of that before booking so it was VERY noisy. Horrible experience!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! I'll be posting on BW Facebook page or where ever else! It was my first and last time staying here; I'll stick to the Marriott!

I expected more than a low-end Days Inn. In fact, I could have stayed for $40 less somewhere else. The staff was nice enough. The room was okay. The carpet wasn't clean and didn't match up with the entry tile. There wasn't a garbage can in the bathroom. We were told when we checked in that there would be a $50 hold on our account in case there was damage. We're a senior couple. When we got to the room, we saw on the desk a list of prices for any items we decided to steal and take home with us. I've included a picture. I just didn't feel welcome at this place. Fortunately the visiting girl's soccer team above us finally went to bed. If we ever stay in Corsicana again, we'll check in somewhere else. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

As you may have noticed, The hotel is currently undergoing a full hotel renovation (we have a large sign posted at the Front desk & hotel staff informs guests upon check in) Due to the hotel renovations, we have brand new tile in all the entry ways of all the guest rooms & brand new paint on all the guest room walls, so this makes the carpet look Shabby even though the housekeepers do clean. We are expected to get our new carpet this week as well. As with most Hotels we do require an incidental hold, but as a courtesy whereas most hotels do hold $75-100 we only require $50, this hold is released immediately after check out.

Enjoyed our overnight stay. Hotel is undergoing renovations, but the workers were cleaning up and leaving when we arrived. Wouldn't have known, otherwise. Our first floor room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Very quiet on backside of property, but this hotel is a block away from highway, so all rooms are probably quiet. The shower head was awesome! Want a great, full-power shower like at home? This is your place. Breakfast service was the usual, tasty and filling, several choices. The young lady taking care of the breakfast service area was very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this propety to anyone going to or through Corsicana TX.

"Filthy and bug infested property"

Upon check in, front desk clerk was very nice and pleasant lady. When i arrived in my room, I noticed bed was soiled, but was moved to another room. The following early morning, I found 2 roaches in room. When I spoke to hotel management, her response to the bug issues was that it was normal to see bugs after pest control sprayed. Really?!?! In my opinion, there shouldn't be bugs if pest control is maintained. Not even an apology from management. I'm a frequent traveler and don't recommend this hotel. It's filthy, bug infested and poor management. Total disappointment for Best Western brand

I assure you we are not a bug infested hotel. We have Orkin come out and spray once a month, i do apologize that sometimes bugs come in from outside and we diligently clean and inspect bug traps. We are currently going through Hotel renovations and hope that you will come back and see us again.

SEE PHOTOS! AT CHECK IN, INTERNET WAS DOWN SO THEY COPIED MY CC. 1ST ROOM WAS FILTHY. WENT BACK TO FRONT DESK, SHE GAVE ME ANOTHER ROOM KEY. 2ND ROOM WAS WORSE. WENT BACK TO FRONT DESK. 3RD ROOM WAS DIRTY, BUT WAS BETTER THAN THE FIRST TWO. IT WAS LATE, AND WE WERE TIRED. At check in, internet was down and they COPIED my cc, which I thought was odd because I had given them my number when I made my reservation, so I know they had it on file. 1st room was filthy-see photos. Went back to front desk, and she dave me another room. It was worse. Went back to front desk and was given yet another room. It was not as bad, but still dirty. It was later-we were tired so I told her I would stay but would need they copy of my credit card back. She did not know how to take the $100 that I handed her. Another couple came in and she told me I would have to step aside. I explained that I had already had been thru THREE rooms and didnt think I should have to wait anymore. She tried again to figure what to do with the cash. The sign said they were remodeling, so I ask her to put me in a room that had been remodeled and she said the entire 3rd floor and been remodeled (those where the rooms I had been in, so I showed her the pics and ask her if those looked like rooms that had been remodeled. Her response was that she just worked the front desk. She then proceeded to take the $100 and slid it down the counter and told me I would have to wait again. Needless to say, I left!

Mrs. Scott, I understand your frustration, but the entire town was out of internet including 75% of the cell phones in town due to the ATT tower that was hit. My agent did her best to satisfy your needs moving you from room to room, while dealing with a lobby full of guests that were all also waiting.

It was an extremely comfortable bad and stay. Yet, the ceiling light didn't have a cover, there was mascara on the sheets and a lamp didn't work (and I requested a replacement bulb- never received). There did seem to be screws loose on something... However, wonderful breakfast and setting. Would highly recommend!

well this was somewhere around my 10th time at this property. Again it was a good night's rest. Clean, quiet and easy access. They had remodeling going on and that made for fresh paint smells, some mess and crowded parking but still manageable. Now location is the best thing about this property... close to everything but yet out b of the hustle and noise. Now the only issue was two fold... first I was NOT recognized as a Elite member in anyway and was charged more for my second night. To some this may seem like no big deal but when you go out if your way to use a hotel brand to get rewards.... well that's what I expect. Next time I will walk away and go elsewhere but this day I was brushed and just wanted to rest so no walk out plus the check in lady was real nice just clueless to what to do with a elite member. I will try them again.

Had to stay here for 5 days due to remodeling delays with a family members home. Check in friendly and courteous. Rooms large and comfortable, only one problem and that's why 4 stars and not 5, the aircon was not working properly, or I did not know how to work it. Breakfast was good. If need be will stay again.

Some staff members are unwilling to help you out. Long time best western member and will no longer stay after this past weekend. Couldn't replace my broken hair dryer in room never once mentioned HEY DON'T TURN ON BECAUSE IT SPARKS although it was unplugged from the outlet. Rooms still real of smoke eve though they say NON SMOKING.

Service is polite. Rooms are clean but dated. Rooms have a mini fridge and a small microwave, along with small coffee pot. Breakfast is offered in the morning with yogurt, eggs and sausage, fresh fruit, and cereal. It's okay for a night or two on the less expensive side of things. Same amenities as most other hotels but on the lower end side.

This hotel is not anywhere close to the BW standard! Horribly disappointed ??..the carpets were filthy thru out the whole hotel...the stairways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months...our bedding smelled like somebody's sweat...our friend in a different room found toenail clippings on her bathroom floor! The noise from the trains and street made this a horrible sleep! I will never return!

Have often passed this hotel but never had occasion to stay. If I need to, I know I can use it again. I always like Best Western. This one has an easy to reach location, very clean and comfy (room was nice and large, and had a great breakfast (both hot and cold selections, good taste and presentation).

I made my reservation several days in advance for my planned visit to Corsicana, Texas thru Booking.com. It was an excellent value and I arrived at the hotel around 10pm. My room was clean and pleasant. The mattress was a little hard and pillows soft and lumpy but once I got to sleep I slept soundly. The breakfast and coffee the next morning was really good and they allowed me an extra hour to check out. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

our stay was awesome. we were there on a planned trip and was extremely satisfied with everything from the service to the staff to the breakfast. Karmen was the girl who checked us in and she even went out of her way during our stay to brew coffee at often random times (we are total coffee drinkers!!) and were on California time. The breakfast was actually very tasty. The gravy made all the difference! The beds were comfortable. Not at all what i expected. We looked for a smoking hotel and this is one of the only ones i could find that looked even remotely decent. I was surprised at how nice the room was, the comfort, the accommodating staff. It was a long drive from California and we were glad that we had chosen this hotel. If i could make one suggestion to the hotel it would be for windows in smoking rooms to open. Yes, we smoke, but we also appreciate fresh air.

We come to this motel at least once a year. It is a common meeting point for our friends from around Texas. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good. We made a lot of use of the dining area as we were rained in while we were there. We usually meet to play cards and visit so the rain was of no consequence. The front desk people were unusually helpful and pointed out some restaurants that were exceptionally good. The only problem was our room wasn't cleaned as well as it should have been. Having said that, we would stay there again and plan to next year.

The room was comfortable, and everything worked as it should. Unfortunately, at 5 AM a loud party broke out in the Lobby and Breakfast areas with raucous laughter and drinking of booze and beer. That continued until almost 7 AM when I called the desk and asked about Quiet Hours. I was told everyone WAS quiet. Several minutes later, we went to breakfast and saw/heard the party still going full blast. Again, I told the Desk Clerk how disgraceful it was that he allowed the noise. As I turned into the breakfast area I saw several bottles of booze more than half empty, many bottles and cans of beer, so I asked the DC about that. He (Johnnie) seemed surprised. Some minutes later he got up the courage to announce that no alcohol was permitted. At that point the party broke up with the group leaving behind their mess.

The stay would have been great if it hadn't been for our room smelling like smoke (we were in a non smoking room) and the hallways were extremely hot. Up on check out we waiting for a long time for someone to come and check us out of the hotel. I might stay here again if I don't find a better hotel.

The outside and lobby of the hotel are nice. The rooms need to be updated. Stayed here 2 nights and luckily we weren't in the rooms much. The carpet was nasty, huge stains and gum on the floor. If you opened your door to the hallway the stale smoke smell came in. Very strong stale smoke smell in hallway. Super friendly gentlemen working the counter and helped with any of our needs.

"Could be cleaner!"

Maids need to clean bathrooms better. Floor was filthy. They also need to learn to wadh out or change the mop heads once in a while. Lobby, elevator, ice/vending areas smelled sour and a little rancid everytime they mopped. It became extremely offensive. But on the plus side, Deo (not sure of the spelling of this young mans name) was super friendly and helpful and Elizabeth was very friendly and offered some great suggestions for local food and fun in town.,

We stopped here knowing that Best Western would be a sure thing with no surprises. There was a ball tournament in town and we had not made reservations but were able to get a room. The breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast and was all that was needed.

"Clean and acceptable but linens were poor"

The hotel was typically what you would expect. The room was clean and noise level was very low. The only complaint is the towels were thin and frayed. I believe they could surely afford to furnish at least an average quality towel for their guests.

Room was not cleaned. Reported to front desk. No offer to clean and no offer to deliver us clean towels or linens. Had to go to front desk and plead for clean towels. How difficult is it to clean a room? Isn't this what cleaning staff is paid for. Empty a wastebasket, change linens and leave clean towels. To make matters worse, staff completely ignored us when we reported it. Had to go to front desk and plead for clean towels. Save your money and stay at La Quinta down the street.

This hotel could be much better. The hallways and elevator do not have any air conditioning, so even in cool weather it was hot. The room was clean and mattress not very comfortable. The tile on the bathroom floor had grout loose and falling out. The breakfast was yucky. Same thing both Sat. and Sun. Scrambled eggs and sausage patties served in dish with about an inch of water. Kitchen area was clean but served by one poor young lady who was expected to take care of it and the front desk. I would not stay there again!

The room was very clean with a super comfy bed (pillows, not so much). We got a king suite, which was the same price as 2 queen beds and a little larger. TV and wi-fi were awesome, and furnishings were quite nice. Breakfast was just so-so.

Stayed here for Little Dribbler nationals. Our entire team & families stayed. The price was excellent and the staff was very helpful & friendly. The hotel had problems with water heaters and had a fire alarm scare but the staff were professional & friendly and went out of their way to make things right! Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and again the price could not be beat! Hats off to Elizabeth & Suru! They had to put up with a lot of little dribblers teams all week and still managed to serve people with a smile!

This was my third time to stay at this property. Easy access although the parking is not very good. The room was clean, everything worked, the price was OK but one flaw... the breakfast is nothing to write home about. Just stick to yogurt or cereal. I may stay here again but if you want a good breakfast you might need to look elsewhere.

This hotel was decent and had a great rate. I wouldn't say it was great but it was good for the price point. Staff was friendly enough but couldn't put us next to some other family members even though I called a week ahead of time to request it. A couple of things in the bathroom were broken but not a huge deal. The bed was ok. Breakfast wasn't very good but was edible. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars but Giving it 4 stars because of the price.

Deo at the front desk was a gem - helpful and inviting, with good suggestions for places to grab a bite. The room was large and comfortable and reasonably priced with an AARP discount applied. Breakfast was included, and had a good selection: scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, yoghurt, cereals, juice...you get the picture. The room we had was quite quiet, although we had to turn off the AC at night as the fan was a little loud. Overall a good value and comfortable stay.

Were traveling on our annual Texas trip, decided to give this hotel a try, glad we did, check in was a breeze. We had a clean comfortable and most of all a quiet stay. The breakfast got us up and going in the morning, your typical continental breakfast, nothing fancy but good. We will definitely use this hotel in our travel in the future. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a good night rest.

Very nice place to stay. Very clean and great value. Beds are comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had many choices and food was very good. Easy access to get to and plenty of parking. Been staying at this hotel for several years and never had a problem. Treadmill in fitness room would trip out after several minutes use but this was not a deal breaker for me. I never reported the treadmill issue.

Great hotel for my experience. Stayed in a King room with pull out couch for 7 year old daughter. Room was large and clean. I'm very picky regarding hotels; and especially cleanliness. And have to say there was not one instance in 4 days / 3 nights where I felt the room or bathroom was not clean or taken care of well while we were out. Breakfast was nice. Nothing over the top, but it was good and an easy option if you wanted it. Staff seemed nice in the little time we had with them. Was able to get checked in at 1pm a few hours early. We booked the room using their website; seemed the cheapest option when compared to TripAdvisor and other sites that add small fee's. We stayed first floor just past the supply room; and we never had an issue with people walking by or the maid service making noise. Heard one thud from the room above us out of three nights,,, so no complaints about the noise. (Stayed in a hotel in Branson, MO our 4th night and heard more noise in 2 hours than all our nights in Corsicana)

Desk clerk was happy to see us--for real. Check in was quick and our rooms were great. Each room was a mini suite. Clean and well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast was very good with a wide variety. Hotel had double windows so the outside noise was limited. I would recommend this hotel if in the area.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The staff was great, breakfast with the Texas shaped waffles were great the food selection was great. Additionally, my stay was during severe thunder storms 15 inches plus of rain in a 36 hour period and the staff remained professional and everything was business as usual. I would highly recommend this property to anyone in the Corsicana TX area.

The rooms (we stayed twice within a week, once on first floor, once on second floor) were very clean and quite spacious. The beds are very good and pillows okay. The bathroom on second floor had a very loose shower handle but it worked adequately. The morning hostess was very friendly and always enquired how we were doing. The hotel is located on a highway but was quiet. TV reception was good. The breakfast area was very good, the hostess worked hard to keep the items well stocked and the area very clean. The selection of items was adequate. The exercise facility is poor. The treadmill does not work and the bicycle seat was loose.

The Best Western Hotel chain is our hotel of choice, and we see a wide variety of quality across the country. This one falls in the middle of the quality category. By quality, I rate sleeping quarters, hotel staff, breakfast area, pool and other amenities. The sleeping quarters were great, with nice bedding, pillows, sofa, a large TV, and sufficient lighting. Upon checking the room, I noticed that the refrigerator and microwave were not working. I mentioned this to the desk clerk as we left for dinner, and it was fixed by the time we returned. Great Job! The breakfast in the morning was also in the middle range of quality. Eggs and Sausage were readily available, some pastries, and of course the traditional Texas shaped waffles, were available. Also, cold items, milk, cereal, yogurt, juice were all there. The free wi-fi was available, but unstable. It was faster just to use my data plan. We had a great time, until the last night of the stay. The room next door, decided to have a party until about 3:30am. We complained the staff after midnight, and the noise level decreased a bit. We complained again about 2:00am and nothing further happened until around 3:30am.

Walked in, saw sketchy looking guy and a lot of bugs hanging out in the dimly lit lobby, was treated inacceptably by the desk clerk, left and went down the road to the Hampton Inn, a much better property. "Fine for a stopover"

The staff in this hotel we're welcoming and friendly. We had booked a room which was disabled accessible for my mother. It was accessible and had plenty of room in the bathroom. Unfortunately one of the grab rails in the shower was loose which could have caused a nasty accident. The room was rather dark, but clean and spacious. The air con was incredibly noisy and went off and on all night. We would have switched it off altogether but it was a hot night. Breakfast was just adequate. No tea! The hotel was just by the freeway so was handy to stop in on our was from Houston to Dallas.
