The room was very nice and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was well stocked and the internet speed was good. I would recommenced this hotel for business travel. I did not use the pool but it looked well kept.

I prepaid for the room for a business trip. For the price paid, it was an exceptional value. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and staff is very friendly. Check in with prepaying the rooms was extremely quick. The entry cards were already programmed and ready to go.

Opened the door, and the room reeked of a humid, musty smell. The air conditioner, while it did cool the room, pumped in air from the outside only, no recirculate function. The unit also had a nasty, loud rattling sound to boot. There was literally so much humidity in the room that the beds and pillows were damp to the touch. Add to this a bathroom door with a broken handle, mattresses that were well past their service life (bad sag, even as far as hotel mattresses go), and the fact that none of their beds have traditional pillows (only small square ones, four on each bed), and you have what amounts to a horrendous stay. I went and asked the front desk for another room, but of course “We have no other rooms available”...

First and foremost I want to apologize to you, I am sorry you had a terrible stay with us. We have currently had our mattresses replaced with new ones from Simmons because of the sag on the ones we purchased that aren't even 3 years old, I am surprised you had a problem with the new one. I will check it out due to the fact that is the reason they were replaced. The current ones are only a few months old. I don't want to make excuses I want to apologize looks like we did not measure up and I am sorry. Thank you for the feedback, I hope we get another chance to make it right.

"Softball team stay"

Breakfast hours did not support the times needed by the traveling softball team. We had early games and the hours of operation did not support our needs. We spilled something on the floor and while cleaning it up realized we were probably the first to clean it in a while, very dirty. There were also massive amounts of cobwebs over our heads while in bed.

Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. We would stay there again. Close to downtown Columbus, but far enough away to not be pricey. Easy off and on from Interstate. Pool looked nice.

Staff was pleasant , nearby restaurants, very clean rooms with refrigerator and great breakfast with selections from oatmeal to omelettes to waffles included in rate. Would highly recommend as a stop on way to final destination.

We offer an all suites hotel with suite size rooms which come with refrigerator, microwave, and sleeper sofas in every room. We stayed at Best Western Suites for 4 nights during a family trip. Overall, the hotel is nice and is your typical Best Western. Pool area is clean and fairly large. The one major problem is the room doors do not close tightly AT ALL. Therefore you can hear every little noise in the hallway and when you're in the hallway you can hear every little noise coming from the rooms. That 3 year old throwing a tantrum at 9pm sounds like someone has given him a megaphone. Your neighbors coming in and out of their rooms all hours of the night.... You can hear them and their doors closing all night. We went out and purchased a fan to drown out some of the noise at night. The beds are mediocre, definitely cheap mattresses but they're clean. The floors in the rooms are tile which is nice because you can only imagine the stuff that ends up on the carpet in hotels. Bathroom is roomy and the room itself is very spacious.I more than likely wouldn't stay here again simply because of the noise factor.

We have purchased new mattresses from Simmons to find they were not up to our standard and had to have them replaced with new ones. This is the first feedback from the new ones. We will watch the quality of the new ones and the feedback from our guest. Customer service is number one here and guest satisfaction. I hope you give us another try to provide you with both.

our room was on the 1st floor. Very clean, king sized bed plus hide-a-bed. huge tv, nice pool (which we didn't have time to use) wi-fi free breakfast (varied but always had sausage gravy and biscuits) fantastic staff.

We stayed two nights and I have no complaints. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and pool and hot tub were warm. Breakfast wasn't great but definitely not bad. Nice location in a quiet and safe area.

"Partially Updated, but still not as clean as should be"

Our first room was 234, and it was an old room and hadn't been remodelled yet. The room had a VERY strong smell of cigarette smoke. We came to the desk and let Margaret know, and she didn't apologize or show any sort of care. She simply said, ok, we're fully booked, so I'll see if I can switch you into another room. We were then given room 134, which was updated. The room didn't smell like cigarettes, but it did smell musty and seemed very humid. The bathroom was clean in the center of the room, but further exploration found hair and dirt around the edges of the tile floor. The breakfast was very good, had lots of hot options like biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausages and varied from day to day. The wifi was fast. The pool was a nice size and the hot tub was also a welcome touch. Thankfully, when I checked out Cindy the manager asked me about my stay. When I expressed my disappointment with the customer service and the smells in the room, she was very kind and apologetic. She also gave us a significant discount on our stay due to the poor experience. I really appreciate her customer service and pro-activity.

"DISAPPOINTING STAY"

I made a reservation well in advance of travel for my husband for May 30, 2018. When my husband arrived he was told there was no reservation made for him for that night. They told him that the room was reserved for May 29, and that since he did not show up, our credit card was charged one night's rate. I gave him the reservation number over the phone which he relayed to them, and they stated there was no reservation under that number. I immediately took a screenshot of the reservation and sent to him clearly showing the room was reserved for May 30. They finally gave him a room. When he arrived in the room and went in to shower, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom. He called the front desk and someone brought one.

I am sorry you left disappointed. Sometimes when the reservation is made by a third party and not hotel direct it causes confusion and it isn't booked for the right arrival date. I am glad they were able to help you. I am glad the shower curtain was installed right away when you called sometimes the housekeepers are very busy and forget something. Always call the desk if anything is wrong and it will be taken care of right away. Hope you give us another chance when you are in Columbus.

Good location with a restaurant with walking distance. The room was very large with a separate sitting area with TV. Considering the size of the room the washroom was very small. They could have used some of the excess space to make it bigger. Only disappointment was that the front desk staff could have been a lot friendlier.

Always stay at this hotel when in town. Caring employees and then relax at the pool, always a great stop. Breakfast is posted the night before so you can look forward to what they are serving. Pizza and cookies are put out at happy hour a couple days a week to satisfy that little craving for a snack.

I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions and I can easily say that it is the best hotel in Ohio. The rooms are fit for a king and super clean and comfortable. The price is always fair. And the staff members are all wonderful people. I'd like to say a special thanks to Heather, Margaret, Cindy, Howie, Samir, and Allison. You've all gone above and beyond for me every time I've stayed here and I will definitely be a returning guest. The hotel is easily accessible I-70 at Exit 91 if you're heading east and Exit 91A if you're heading west. And there are a lot of restaurants and stores within a 3 mile radius for added convenience. I will definitely return again and again.

This hotel was excellent, great service from the minute we walked in until we left. Rooms were spotless, beds were very comfortable, staff friendly and willing to ask any questions. One of the reasons other than positive reviews we chose to stay here as we noted manager Cindy addressed all reviews and the couple of complaints, which told us she cared about her hotel. We me Cindy when checking out and she was very cordial, friendly. Thank you Cindy and your staff to a wonderful stay, we will be back.

We have stayed at this place a couple of times on our trips across the state. Always clean, nice rooms, easy check in/out and breakfast is nice too. Afternoons they have Pizza available for the guests which is a nice treat.

"Very good hotel"

Our family booked 3 rooms for 4 days to attend our nephew's wedding. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We especially like Petra who was in charge of serving breakfasts. BTW, the breakfast was very good. The bed was huge and comfortable. We even like the pillows. The hotel was renovated 3 years ago and is in very good conditions, nice and clean. But we saw a crew continuing working on the renovation.

My husband and I recently stayed here using points. The room they gave us was clean enough but was right next to the fire door for the hallway. This meant that the door was slamming shut every time someone went through it. You would think that the hotel would assign someone who stayed at their chain enough to use points for a free room a room that was quiet so they would be encouraged to stay there even more. Not here. The decor in the room was tired. Boring tan paint on the walls and dull brown comforter on the bed. The carpet had either been burned or damaged somehow, ugly gold in color. The sidewalks had been painted gray to cover the red underneath but the gray paint was peeling making the exterior looking dilapidated. The staff was nice enough but the hotel is in great need of an update.

The winter months and salting our sidewalks always does a job on the paint which makes them look terrible in the early spring, they are scheduled a new paint job as soon as the weather warms up. Best Western design team chooses the design for the rooms and this is the first time I have gotten a negative reaction. I am sorry you didn't like it, I am sure it will be changing again in the future. Or, for that matter, Michigan, Tennessee, Oregon or Arizona. I've criss-crossed the country by car as often as I can, almost always staying at places offering the same moderate rates and amenities (I can't even imagine paying for my own breakfast), like many of my fellow Trip Advisors, and rarely find that favorite that becomes a destination of its own, worth planning a trip around. This is one of them and a good thing about such a handsome and prosperous mid-sized city like Columbus that it is on the road to just about anywhere else. After finding this place by chance last spring, I made it a point to return this year to see what made it so special then. Not only did it not disappoint this trip, it reminded me among the multitude of off-road accommodations across the country just what it takes to really make a five-star stop. Take notes: It starts with the quality and hospitality of its staff. None of those little signals to road weary travelers that they would rather be working somewhere else. It isn't being coached by a management book either: there is just a genuine happiness around this place that makes a visitor feel comfortable and at home. They also keep up the place so that the freshness of the rooms and the imaginative art on the walls and the little porcelain French Pig that offers the breakfast special of the day all looks both original and fun, too. The rooms are laid out like small studio apartments with little personal touches: this year, there was a non-slip pad on the tub. Why hasn't anyone thought of that one? And, yes, every piece of equipment in the gym works too. If you were the fussiest hotel critic (and some days I am), it would be hard to find a thing out of place-- and if you did and happened to call the front desk, I know someone even fussier than you are would be right over. Those full breakfasts work are varied with both plentiful and healthy choices too. There is the location: just off the interstate and set back from the main commuter roads to offer quiet grounds and a feeling of security-- no need to keep one eye on the parking lot at night. Its size is just right: large enough to have a large family pool (which the kids love), but not so over-sized you feel like you've just invaded a group of corporate noisemakers (all paying less than you are). Here's a clue: you actually enjoy spending time outside your room. Finally, here is the ultimate test: you sleep well here and you leave rested and ready for probably a less special overnight somewhere else. My future trips will begin and end with a reason to return to Columbus.

Clean large room. Only thing is no blankets or sheets for couch bed. Found out after getting ready for bed you have to get that stuff at front desk no big deal just took a cover off bed. Plenty of room nice clean bathroom well stocked. In a nice location close to interstate and places to eat and shops. Went to Steak and Shake for dinner.. Was ask to go to Country inn and Suites behind it to use pool because a child had gotten sick in the Best Western Pool . it was no problem to get in other pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good had egg and cheese omelets was really good. Not far from Cosci and main Columbus.

Sometimes guest will close the sleeper up and it could get missed by the housekeeping staff. Thank you for understanding that we had to close our pool due to the child getting sick. Hotel was nice. Excellent value for the hotel, location, and amenities. During our stay, a child had gotten sick in the pool while we were out to dinner. When we arrived back the lady at the desk informed us of the situation and also let us know that hey had called the neighboring hotel and they would allow us to swim there due to Best Western having to close the pool. Breakfast was an average hotel breakfast, nothing fancy but a good start to the day. The only two negative things would be the wifi didn't work in the room and we had a stand up shower instead of a tub in our room. With small children it makes it a little more of a challenge, but not a huge ordeal We booked late so that might have affected that. Overall we were pleased with the staff, cleanliness, and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed here last night and had a very nice experience. I was a little skeptical about the Best Western Brand but have to say I was very pleased. From the airport shuttle, the hotel is experience, through check out, I could not have been more pleased. I was upgraded without a request to a jacuzzi room. After a long flight and a difficult day, the jacuzzi was just perfect. The room as very clean, the staff was wonderful, and the mattress was heavenly. I'll definitely stay here again.

Staff was very helpful and the hotel was very close to Columbus and so easy to get downtown to the convention center. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Internet worked well and having breakfast ready in the morning was a great help to get on the road for work. Thank you!

"Dirty. Rude morning staff."

The carpet in the hallways is disgusting, multiple places where there has been vomit/spills where they have cleaned up the mess, but not actually cleaned the carpet. Evening check-in staff was friendly but morning check-out person was rude and inattentive. When I asked her about check-out she said "leave your key on the counter" then turned around and walked away. No "Good morning". No "How was your stay?". Apparently I had inconvenienced her by asking a simple question. Breakfast was decent at best but is not served until 7:00 - not good if you need to get up and out early - I had to grab a quick plate to go. Should have spent a few extra dollars and stayed somewhere else.

"Much better the second time around"

I had stayed at this property once before and I was less than impressed. But my second visit and all the ones after that have been superb. It's a clean place at a fair price and it's cozy and quiet. Most of the staff here take great care if you and know what hospitality is all about. Cindy is a great manager and actually cares about the guests. Heather is super pleasant and efficient. Margaret is always super nice and has gone out of her way to get me a great rate and has been accommodating with my points. Howie is always really nice and we talk for a while. Samir is always friendly and knowledgeable. And Allison is really sweet as well. As much as I hate to say anything negative after saying so many nice things, Rebecca is terrible. She's rude and I always feel like I bother her when I ask her for anything. Whether it's for towels or a wake-up call, I always get the cold shoulder. You have a great hotel with a lot of great people. Rebecca is the only downside to this hotel. But everyone else is superb. I will definitely return again and again.

Probably the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel in a looong time! Everyone was extremely friendly and the entire hotel is super clean. The kitchen help was very polite. Lobby was a little hard to find but no big deal.

Called at the last minute to get two rooms for family traveling from Midwest to east coast. Hit bad weather and needed to stop for the night. The person taking the reservation was great...very very accommodating. Rooms were clean, comfortable, exactly what was needed. Thanks so much for helping us in such a friendly manner! We love this hotel! The location is extremely convenient in relation to our family in the area. It's also very comfortable and well maintained, with a great staff. It's also really nice to have the option of both a hot and cold breakfast.

This BW was a fantastic location as well as very hospitable and a great value! The pool and jacuzzi were a great hit with us,clean warm and the service of fresh hotel towels for swimming supplied by front desk was a bonus you don't find in your average hotels. It was a very wonderful stay and superior service and accommodations! Will return again next time we're in town to see grandchildren!

Check in and check out staff were just average-could have been friendlier and more pleasant. Room was very nice and clean. Overall Hotel area was pretty quiet. Breakfast was very good, both hot and cold items. Breakfast staff was friendlier then check in and check-out staff.

Nice size rooms. Great location off the interstate. There was Loud talking in the hallways at times in the early evening. Breakfast was pretty good, coffee in breakfast room was luke warm and tasted horrible.

We do offer all suite size rooms which does provide a lot more room for the guest. Sometimes early evenings are a little noisy when other guest are arriving and getting settled into their rooms. Good clean hotel. heather at check in was awesome. Evening staff, not so much. Breakfast typical fare but poorly cooked. Very busy intersection but area is new with lots of restaurants to choose from.

Great hotel very close to the interstates and just far enough away from Columbus that youndint have to deal with the congestion of down town. Traffic getting out of the hotel is a little tricky at times.

Nice room, comfortable bed. Staff was attentive and professional in appearance along with their speech. Close to where I needed to be so it is accessable . I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Columbus, Oh.

Hotel is close to interstate,the room I was in was very quiet,large,clean.The bed was comfortable.Variety of eats close by.Shopping approx. 1mile away.Easy access to downtown.Easy check-in and check out.Seems to fill up quick.OK breakfast bar,area kept clean.Small parking area.Nice pool area with hot tub.Small work out area.

"Don't Stay Here!"

I have stayed all over the US including major cities and this is the only hotel that my truck has ever been broken into (please note I never leave any valuables in my vehicle and realize it is park at own risk). Anyhow when providing feedback to manager the canned response was it is the holidays, we can't be responsible and park at own risk. In other terms tough luck we are running a business here and guest security is not important since it takes away from our profits. Oddly enough hotel staff admits several holes in west fence line, security cameras are blurry and knew ahead of phone call that PD doesn't come out unless $3k minimum theft etc.. if you value your vehicle and contents stay somewhere else!

I want to apologize for your troubles. I was not available during your stay so the person handling the problem wasn't the manager of the hotel. I am sorry you feel the hotel does not care about the security of our guest. We do offer camera surveillance (which is being updated) This is not a high crime area. As we all know Holidays are high crime times everywhere . I am glad nothing was stolen from your vehicle. I am sure the police dept. is very busy, however they will respond to every call. Please accept my apology. I know it is upsetting when someone has taken the feeling of being safe from you.

The room was advertised as a suite but it wasn't. Stains on the walls, stains all over the pull out bed, nasty old bathroom. Nasty carpet. Dust all over the desk. The good thing is that the linens were clean and there were no bed bugs.

Nasty hotub and the amount of money I paid don't ever go to this hotel. My hotub was dirty and the place had ??.. The breakfast was cheap also for the amount of money you pay there. And the amount of money you pay there is it hard to have a shuttle van

I checked your reservation and it was booked through a third party for a room with 2 queen beds on the first night and a additional room was reserved through Expedia for the rest of your stay into a Jacuzzi room. Always let the front desk know of any problems so that we can move you or make it right before you leave. Last Spring my wife and I traveled to St Louis Mo to visit with our youngest daughter and her family to celebrate our Ist great grandndaughter. The Breakfast area at that time was in a vitual mess.I left a pointed review with Trip Advisor and the Hotel.Now went we arrived in the Fall it seemed the situation was remedied much to my surprise.MY y wife and I will continue to stop at Best Western Hotels in Columbus because it is very conveniently situated at the midpoint of our Journey between Rochester NY and St.Charles MO

"Upgrade appreciated, unfriendly staff not appreciated "

This was my first stay at this property and I was rather disappointed. Cindy was very kind about giving me an upgrade and I certainly do appreciate that. But the front desk staff didn't really impress me much. Samir was pretty nice and helpful to us. Heather was alright. She was sort of polite, but she didn't really seem to care or feel anything whenever I interacted with her. And last and by far the biggest disappointment was Rebecca. She's one of those people that I knew wouldn't like from the start and I was right. She was rude and obnoxious and gave my girlfriend and I the cold shoulder. And I feel like we just annoyed her without saying or doing anything. We stayed Friday night and tried to stay again on Saturday and Rebecca wouldn't give us the room we reserved. She did absolutely nothing to help. She told my girlfriend that she would charge her card and then take her cash at check-out. That's not how it works. And what stupid hotel takes the money at check-out? We could've crawled out the window and left and changed the credit card after. I just knew she was making up excuses to deny us service. It's an okay hotel. They'd be a whole lot better if Heather had more of a personality and Rebecca wasn't so nasty. Best Western, you have disappointed me this time.

First and above all I want to apologize for the way you were treated while you were staying with us. I do remember our conversation when you were reserving your room. I will apologize for the staff coming across to you as rude. We do have a policy in place that all guest must check in with a bank issued credit card that will be authorized at check in, however the card isn't charged until checkout so the guest has the option to pay cash at check out to prevent the charge from going on the card. It seems like this wasn't explained to you properly. I am sorry you were disappointed with your stay and hope you accept my apologies give us another try.

Roomy and extra sofa bed for guest if needed. My hubby and I loved this room! I also liked my room way better than my friend's room when I visited her at the Holiday Inn Express. I'll always look for a Best Western on all of my future small or big trips.

Everything you need is within reach at this hotel.Got the presidental suite that included a hot tub in the suite.The hot tub was roomy enough for 2.The bed was huge,actually the suite was huge!!Also the hot breakfast is an added bonus with donuts available all day.There wasn't many people at this hotel it seems so we got the pool and Jacuzzi all to ourselves it was such a nice treat!I will definitely be coming back to this hotel anytime I go to columbis.Well worth the price and you won't regret staying here!!

Considering that this was a very busy and eventful weekend due to Buckeye vs Penn State Game, this hotel was conveniently located. Room was larger than other comparable hotels and the price was very reasonable. The room was clean and staff helpful.

Our weekend are very busy if there is a home game for Ohio State. Many fans stay with us because of our location being only 15 minutes to the stadium. We do offer suite size rooms and keep our rates reasonable. Looks like you had a great time while in Columbus, hope you stop by and visit us again.

"A few issues, but good service"

We had a booking here end of Feb 2017. We checked in, and were given a room number and key. When we entered the room we were given, we found it to be uncleaned. The bed was not made, there was random garbage around the room. Housekeeping had clearly not touched it. We returned to the front desk and told of our issues, and the person was very apologetic. We were given another room, this one appeared clean and without issue. Besides the initial mistake, we were happy with our stay.

BW Suites on the west side of Columbus, just off I-70. We were greeted warmly and helpfully on our late arrival. The room was really nice with great visual separation between the sleeping and sitting/desk area. Wi-Fi worked great. Everything clean fresh and quiet. Hotel honored our request for a room far from the highway. BEST of all: nice pool, swimmable for short laps on one lane and OPEN UNTIL 10PM. Good BW breakfast. The biscuit gravy was as rich in sausage as any we've ever had on the road.

Just a quick stop on our trip, but what a find. Beautiful hotel, room was very spacious, updated, clean... Just so many positive things to say. Book early and look for deals. Even the front desk was amazed at the price we locked the room in at. If I go back to Columbus, this is where I'll be staying!

It was an okay stay. Not thrilled with the attitude of the desk clerk. Cleanliness of the room was poor. The desk clerk wasn't exactly rude, but not very helpful either. The housekeeping staff obviously didn't do much while we were there including emptying the garbage.

This hotel was both our first and last stop for our bus tour and cruise. I'm glad we stayed here a second time because this was one of the two better hotels we patronized. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable with extra pillows. Amenities include in-room refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast area was kept stocked and clean by an attentive staff member. If I pass through the area again, this hotel would be my place of choice to stay again.

We received a nice rate for our bi-annual assembly which was one of the deciding factors in choosing BW. The hotel has recently been remodeled, it's modern, clean and even smells inviting. I noticed the pleasant smell as I walked down the upper hallway to the fitness room and pool area. Nicely equipped fitness center. Free weights, stability ball, mat and cardio equipment. Great! The pool water and pool area was too warm for a refreshing swim. The cleanliness would have been 'very good' if I hadn't noticed dust bunnies behind the furniture. Everywhere else seemed 'very good'.

This B/W has a wonderful, friendly front desk staff! It pays to be a B/W Rewards Member because you are always offered a gift bag or extra points upon check-in, this one offers both! The central location, cleanliness and great breakfast made our stay very enjoyable. I would love to come back here some day!

My friends and I booked this hotel for a girls weekend. The room was great we had enough room for everyone and it was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy and the free breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again.

We are on a bus trip/cruise with Golden Frontier and stayed here on our first night. Bed was comfortable; breakfast was varied and excellent. Menu consisted of eggs & Canadian bacon, a variety of cereals, yogurt, muffins, etc. They also had Krispy Kreme donuts.

We were in town from Atlanta for a Glass Animals concert at 9/30/17. We were happily checked in early around noon ( we did not use the room until later that night) to avoid a late night check in after a long day. Very clean, safe place stay.

The hotel is a beautiful modern building easy to find off the expressway. Well kept lobby and the rooms are nice size, clean and quiet. The highlight was the surprisingly great breakfast. Not the usual waffle, muffin fair. We frequently come to this area for family and will look forward to returning to this Best Western.

We really liked this place. We stay in a real dump two days before so it made this place even better. Check in was easy and quick, the price was good and the staff was great. The breakfast was very good. We will go back.

We traveled from Cleveland to attend the OSU football game and visit our son. The staff was very accommodating. We had a snafu on an online hotel reservation not with BW. They gave us the Presidential Suite at a wonderful rate. I have stayed here several times. Love it!

Great modern and clean hotel. And it was an easy drive from the OSU football stadium. We checked in late and we were warmly greeted and were upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite due to membership status. I love the little extras on the sink (shower cap and makeup towelette remover) Great stay, thank you!

We stayed 1 Night during a Leadership Business Convention. Clean Room. The Location was close to the Columbus Convention Center. I enjoyed using the Business Center to Print my Reports & get Work done while traveling.

Spent 2 nights here, sister-in-law's family did the same. The location is excellent - we chose this hotel for its proximity to the highway and points west, but it's really not that far from downtown or even the airport. I liked the mattress, we slept well, and there's plenty of room to spread out. Our room 115 was the first one off the lobby and the hall door closing between us and the lobby gets a lot of use in the morning, so try for one farther down the hall. The place was hopping on the weekend, lots of folks here for the Labor Day weekend. Breakfast was so-so (we're spoiled with European breakfasts). Everything is warmed up rather than cooked fresh. Lots of carbs on the second morning - eggs would be nice daily for protein. Hubby enjoyed swimming in the pool both mornings.

We are located right along I-70 just 6 miles west of downtown. We are very busy on the weekends which does make for a lot of traffic. The rooms closer to the lobby may hear a little more noise. We always offer hard boiled eggs for breakfast and toast not sure if we were out of them due to the busy weekend. Glad you enjoyed your stay hope to see you again.

Have been down here 3 separate times from Minnesota for my son's medical appointments and this is by far the best place we have stayed! The hospitality and very friendly staff are awesome! We had a nice suite at the Columbus Best Western. Room was great, breakfast was good, pool / spa were very nice. Price was higher than other chains that we stayed with, but company (BW)support and comfort made it worthwhile.

The hotel room was very nice and clean and able to accommodate 3 adults and 3 children! The staff was very friendly. we chose this hotel because it wasn't too far from the Columbus Zoo. The pool was a bit on the chilly side, but the hot tube felt great! Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We reserved this hotel to take our 9 year old grandson on his special grandparents trip. We took him to the zoo and then to the Ohio Caverns on our way home. The motel lobby and common areas were very clean. Our room had a funny odor, almost smelled like someone had smoked in the room, and the carpet had several "spots". Our grandson slept like a log, but my husband and I had trouble and didn't think mattress was very comfortable. The pillows were great. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The breakfast items were presented nicely, but we felt that the bacon was undercooked and nuked it in the microwave. Staff were all friendly and to be honest we did not complain about the odor.

Room was clean and comfy. Enough room for our family of 5. We booked a two queen with a sofa sleeper. Hotel staff was not the friendliest and the breakfast was not the beat. Overall a good stay. Parking lot a little small as well.

The staff at this location is friendly and willing to go above & beyond to be helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. While the breakfast may have been a little disappointing, there was plenty of it and it was kept piping hot. Overall, a pretty great stay.

We chose Best Western because of price and I had an excellent experience qt Sandusky location plus one of hotels that provide free breakfast. I was disappointed in our room in Columbus because the bed was too soft and no place to put our personnal hygiene stuff in bathroom. Staff was excellent though from front desk to housekeeping.

Looks like your great stay at the Sandusky Best Western is what prompted you to try us out. It looks like you had reserved a handicap room with us and the bathroom area is equipped to be handicap accessible to give extra space if needed. It does make for a problem for a place to put your items. Our mattresses are new and some people think they are great and others don't seem to like them. I am sorry your was too soft. Please give us another try, maybe the next room will be great!

Always a great stay. Very willing to make any accommodations you might need. We stayed here while my grandson who is 5 months old was having open heart surgery. They gave us an excellent rate. Couldn't be any happier.

Enjoyed our stay, pool was wonderful and staff very helpful. Breakfast was a bonus. Newspapers were available and you could grab an apple or banana if you needed a snack from the breakfast room. Pool area was clean and towels were provided.

My husband and I came from Ontario to see family. The hotel staff was awesome and the cleaning staff worked hard to make our room perfect. The breakfast staff was extra helpful to make sure my food was nut free. The things negative was different staff were on their phone too much and and so many did it at the front desk One night around 8 pm we used the swimming pool and the sign says no children alone in the pool and there was. Thank you for staying with us. Its seems you had an almost perfect stay. We have a "no children under 14 is permitted in our pool area without an adult policy", however many parents are sitting outside on the patio area while the children are swimming. Our pool is a big hit with the guest and can be very busy at times so we have cameras located in the front desk area to monitor the pool. I am glad you are willing to give us another try. We had stayed at this hotel in 2016 on a family vacation. At the time, I thought the room was fair. Our other family members mentioned that they were less than impressed. But we decided to give it another try July 2017. When we got to our room, we noticed a strong smoke smell so I asked for another room. The second room smelled musty/moldy, so I asked to see a third. Great, no terrible smell but the air conditioner made a "whomp, whomp, whomp" sound. So we decided not to stay.

Room was clean, everything worked, shower clean. Had pizza when I checked in at 4 pm. Wi-Fi worked well Bed was good. Slept well. Breakfast was free and decent. I am now using up my 200 characters, Just a few more to go. Ahhh, I think this will do it.

Just your average hotel with nothing over the top. Room could have been cleaner and they could have better upkeep. If you need a fair room for a fair price not bad. Breakfast was average. Watch the tile around the pool, extremely slick. They could have used a better surface so people wouldn't almost fall by just walking.

This Best Western was clean and comfortable. Nice Hot Breakfast, Pool and Hot tub were a nice addition. Everyone was friendly and rate reasonable. Even got the room with the Jacuzzi next to the bed for only a few dollars more. Great deal. Will stay there again.

Staff was friendly upon check-in. We chose to stay here for their "Presidential Suite" which had a separate bedroom with Jacuzzi. The room was spacious and clean. My daughter loved the Jacuzzi. The T.V. remote in the living area wouldn't work unless it was pointed towards the far right side of the T.V., and even then it was spotty. The pool area was nice. We didn't get to enjoy it much, it was very busy. There were large amount of kids throwing a beach ball across the pool to someone in the hot tub, so obviously we couldn't enjoy the hot tub either. We weren't a fan of the design of the hut tub being so small and so close to the pool, but as far as people tossing the ball and not using the hot tub properly, that was by no fault of the hotel's. Our room was right next to the elevator as well as a door that was the entrance to the hallway. I will say there seemed to be a serious lack of soundproofing in this hotel. Every room we walked by we could hear their conversations, and in our room we could hear the elevator every time it was in use, and we could hear every single time someone opened the door to the hallway. Breakfast was okay. The staff was excellent at refilling all the items quickly. The selection was standard for a smaller hotel. Overall it was an average stay.

The bathroom has no counter tops and the shower is small with no water pressure. The room smelled horrible, beds were hard and we were put in a room we had to bend down to turn on the lights. We will not stay again.

I am sorry your stay wasn't a great one. I looked up your reservation and it appears that you had reserved on line and reserved a handicap accessible room. This room is designed with lower light switches and the bathrooms are also designed for extra space for our guest that would need a wheelchair so they do not have a counter. Always remember to call and verify that you have reserved the correct room that you would need and if you would ever have a problem with the room please tell a staff member so we can take care of you. We want you to enjoy your stay. Hope you give us another try.

Like the location... easy access to the interstate. Nicely decorated rooms, comfy bed, and good hot breakfast with eggs and meat. A hot tub is a must for us with our arthritis, and this one was nice & hot, as well as clean. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

Everyone was friendly! Great location, decent size rooms. Breakfast needs improvements but there was a variety of food. Rooms had heavy smell of cigarette smoke. Would have requested a different room if the arrival time was not so late.

Rooms are very nice but costly if on a budget. Very clean and very personable personnel. Breakfast needs a lot of work . Overall I love this hotel. I have stayed here two years in a row for my anniversary because of the Jacuzzi tub suite. Not really sure why its called a suite but it is very cozy. I will plan on doing this again next year to make it a tradition to get away for a weekend. I just wish the price was a little more friendly for senior citizens.

located west of Columbus, just one hour from Dayton, just off I-70; near many restaurants, very convenient to I-70. Pleasant staff. Room is quiet, spacious, comfortable, clean. Breakfast is decent. Great value for the money. WiFi very good and easy to use. Only slight complaint is that room lighting is not to my liking for reading.

We previously stayed at this hotel and were happy to return. It's located is a good location just outside of Columbus with easy access to the main highways. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are Very comfortable and CLEAN! It was over all a great experience. I would not hesitate to make a reservation there again.

"Rooms Smelled Horrible"

When we arrived we were given a room with 2 double beds as requested. We walked into the room which smelled horribly like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. We were then given another room - king size bed, which didn't fit our needs since we have 4 in our family. We walked into the 2nd room which smelled not as strong like cigarettes but that mixed with a horrible musty smell. Even my 7 and 10 year old boys would complain each time we would come back to the room. There was long curly hair in the corner by the shower when we first got into the 2nd room also. The lobby and the rest of the hotel were ok and staff was friendly, however I would not stay here again.

This is an amazing Hotel. Clean, Large well appointed rooms. Large writing desk, sofa and coffee table for lounging Beds were very comfortable and I slept great! Bathroom was small, but very clean and well supplied (I forgot my shampoo!) Pool, Hot tub and spa area Beautiful, just the right temp Relaxing retreat after a long drive Breakfast: the French toast was horrible. The scrambled eggs were plastic VERY poor options for a gluten free diet.

We stopped here while traveling with family. We had a king suite for $94. Included refrigerator and sofa. Hotel and room was very nice, bed was comfortable. Tub appeared to be an older style but there was plenty of hot water and everything was very clean. Breakfast was included with room price.. Waffles, sausage, egg patty, sausage and Biscuits and muffins. Juice seemed to be watered down. Quiet place with walking distance to steak n shake and Denny's restaurant. Total bill came to $113 with taxes. They accept AARP and AAA discounts.

It's a Best Western folks, not the Ritz. I've give it an 'excellent' for what it is, a budget option that is well maintained. No reason for anyone to be disappointed, as long as you know what you are paying for. A nice location close to I-70 with many food options.

The staff were friendly when we interacted with them. The breakfast choices were many - even a "to go" option on the weekdays. The pool and hot tub were clean and a nice temperature. Our room keys were an issue - too close to our cell phones a couple of times and when they were fixed at the front desk, they still didn't work. We just resorted to using the one that did work, which was fine. The bed was fine - not too soft, not too hard. I would say the hotel is dated - the bathroom counter, desk, lamps, tv/fridge/microwave stand, nightstands and paint(?) have been updated, but overall the hotel seems dated, maybe worn is a better word.

Not bad but could have been better for the amount paid. Bugs in the bathroom. Didn't report that my internet would not work because I worked all day and would only have a hour or two of relaxing. The pool and hot tub are close so don't go when there's kids or your relaxing soak will not be pleasant.

I have stayed at this hotel many times on business trips to Columbus. Never have I had a worse stay. The room smelled musty upon entering, the bed was barely made and the sheets not changed. Mold on the bottom hem of the shower curtain. I had wanted to use the hot tub but the manager would not open it for me as it was after the 10pm closing time.

I was debating which low price motel I wanted to use .I finally picked this motel and boy was I surprised. A motel that was clean,friendly,has great rooms and a good free wifi and breakfast.My wife was surprised with the comfort of the bed and the rooms layout.I will definitely use this place again when visiting Columbus Ohio.The front desk and staff were very courteous and welcoming. It was a bit hard to locate but well worth the search. X-Zavier at front desk was very pleasant & check-in was smooth. Lobby was orderly and clean. Elevator a bit small but good enough for luggage carrier. The room was immaculate , bed comfortable and we had 4 pillows, carpet clean.TV worked well. Bathroom was very clean , large , & had plenty of hot water & pressure. Towels seemed new but a bit thin. Air unit was very cold , didn't try heat. The breakfast had nice selection.... busicuits/sausage gravy , sausage links , French toast , cereal, sweet stuff, bagels with toppings. And more! Quite a pleasant place to spend the night. Don't hesitate on this one!!

Rooms were very spacious, clean and modern looking. This appears to be a newer hotel, so nothing is run down! convenient right off of I-70. Hotel staff was very pleasant to deal with as well. The only downfall during my stay was that the parking lot seems to be a little undersized and if you don't get a spot earlier in the day you may be parking out on the service road! There is a Country Inn right next door but it seems there parking lot is small as well and the two hotels might have some issues with customers parking in each others lots!

I know the parking lot seems small, however it does go completely around the building some people aren't aware of that. Both hotels were owned by the same man, however when the Country Inn was sold the new owners do not want our guest using their parking lot. I don't think I'm ridiculously picky but but there are some red flags for me such as candy wrappers next to the bed that I found within 2 minutes of entering the room. But no one is perfect so not a deal breaker. The reason I won't return is the design of the bathroom. There was not a single spot to put cosmetics, hair appliances,etc, unless you place them on the toilet seat or the top of the water tank. In the shower (no tub) there was again no place to put soap, razor, shampoo and conditioner bottles or anything you might need except the floor of the shower. There was a seat in the area (wood). I thought this to be a very odd bathroom configuration so at checkout I asked the desk clerk if there were other rooms appointed differently. She told me that all of the rooms have that same " no vanity/shower only" design. Everything else about this hotel was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. The The property was clean and attractively cared for. The breakfast area was large and the food selections were varied and tasty. Our room was also large and the decor was attractive. Our bed was quite comfy! It never occurred to me to inquire about bathroom design, but I guess I will now! Sorry, BW.

I am so sorry your stay wasn't a pleasant one. I want to clear up the issue with the bathroom for you. The room you were in was a handicap accessible room. They are designed with more space in mind and the wood seat which fold up is also designed to be ADA compliant. The standard rooms are not at all like the one you were in. 1 night stay for business, very nice property, looks newer or at least recently updated. My room had a couch and sitting area, mini-fridge and microwave, lots of TV channels to choose from, breakfast was good, lots of restaurants near by. I would recommend

Hotel was clean and nice. Had a very nice breakfast. Attendants were very polite and helpful. Appears to have undergone some remolding or is fairly new. The only negative would be that condo's or apartments are being constructed very close to this facility and when complete there will probably be a traffic nightmare unless other outlets are available.

Overall, the room was great. I had no problems with it. King bed with a pull out couch. Very spacious room. My girlfriend claimed the room smelled moldy to her. It did not affect our ability to sleep. I had no issues with the room.

We pulled very tired after driving 10 hours. The Staff was so helpful. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.The swimming pool and hot top were wonderful after being stuck in a car for so long. The person in charge of breakfast (I think her name was Tami) was extremely helpful when I told her I had Allergies. She graciously looked up ingredients and helped me make good choices. All in all, I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. It would have been nice to have been able to stay another day but we had an Itinerary we were following.

Nice hotel tucked between a lot on new apartment construction. Needed WAZE to actually find our way in. The lobby has been nicely redone, and perhaps some of the rooms. We had an accessible room - which we didn't need so i cannot comment on the amenities. The room had a small alcove with sofa, desk and desk chair. Also microwave and refrigerator. All nice extras. Breakfast here is very good - variety every day, and a notice board in front of the breakfast room noting the following day's specials. Very close to freeway - but getting onto the access road is tricky due to high traffic volume.

We do have "Krispy Kreme Donuts" for breakfast and a variety of items to choose from. We try to let the guest know what is scheduled for breakfast the following day , the hot items do change daily. Stayed only one night as we were dropping our son off at Ohio State. The room was relatively large and was amazingly sound proof. We were close to a busy road but didn't suffer any road noise whatsoever. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise from the typical underwhelming offerings. They had fresh blueberries and raspberries, which I hadn't see at a hotel breakfast before. Finally, the price was quite reasonable. All in all a very good experience. Only reason for not giving it a 5 is the location, which is not by any means dangerous, but also not that attractive, not to mention the construction that was going on next door. But among the things they can control, this hotel does a very nice job.

Staff was very friendly , breakfast was very good the pool and the gym were a extra added bonus which the Red Roof Inn Plus doesn't have and the hotel was more than what I would spend but worth it in the long run . Will stay there next time on my visit to OSU .

Other than a reservation error on the corporate website that placed us in a handicap room we hand a pleasant and comfortable three day stay while visiting family. Easy access to the highway, plenty of dining in the immediate area. Beside the usual chain restaurants Columbus has excellent local food establishments. Note to travelers, our first experience with the new Best Western Logo and we never recognized the tall sign visible from the highway. Still used to the older version. Not sure that change was necessary but now we know. This hotel was far superior to our experience a few years ago at a BW Columbus north. I see by their ratings that hotel has not improved and is no long a BW plus.

We were thrilled with our room in Columbus. We chose to stay at Best Western because we had stayed at a BW in another city during the winter and had been pleased. This was a good-sized room for an extended weekend stay with family, everything was clean and worked as it should. The pool was great. The breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold items and the attendant was helpful. In-room Wi-Fi worked with no problems.

Very nice rooms and clean !! The staff was very nice and help. Anyone in the area I would recommend you stay here. Lots of great places to eat near and lots of shopping just minutes away ! Easy to get to and back on the interstate from this motel. Make the call ahead to stay, they fill up fast because of the great location and all the great things around the area.

Nice place. Very clean. Extremely considerate staff. Love the cookies at night, and the above average continental breakfast. However, we should it was a wheelchair accessible room. We are happy they offer this, but we didn't need it. We would have preferred to have had the vanity in the bathroom and a place to put our shampoos in the shower. We obtained the reservation through the BW 800 #. They should know their stuff. The Hotel is great, but the 800 # is not. This is not our first issue with the 800 #.

We stayed here on our way home from visiting friends in Indiana. We arrived a bit early for normal check-in and called the front desk to see if our room was available. They were still cleaning rooms, but were able to find us a room that was ready. The room was very spacious, except the bathroom seems a bit cramped. As other reviewers have noted, our room seemed to have a bit of a musty smell - but it did seem to go away after a while. We enjoyed having the pool all to ourselves a couple times during our stay. The pool room was a bit too warm for me, but my family liked it. I found it a bit unusual that you had to ask for pool towels at the front desk and there was not a bathroom close to the pool - but not a major inconvenience. We were able to walk to Bob Evans for dinner. The Eddie Bauer Warehouse store is only about 5 minutes away, so my wife loved that. Breakfast was good with the usual assortment of items. Would stay here again on way through Columbus.

The location was nice and the lobby and breakfast area were nice, however,the rooms are in desperate need of attention. I am not one to complain but everyone in our group said that the rooms had a musky smell. I gave this place the benefit as the power had just been restored just prior to us getting there. The rooms had a musky smell, not sure if it was the carpets or the air conditioning but the smell was there our entire stay. Breakfast is ok but staff was very nice. We had a team cookout on the back patio and occupied the breakfast area and staff was more than accommodating. I would spend a little extra and stay somewhere else unless I heard from someone I know that the smell in the rooms has been eliminated.

Needed to stop by on our drive to Maryland. Got in late, so we were not there very long. The smell of the room upon walking in was musty. We ran the air to try and eliminate the odor. It sort of helped. Every once in awhile in the entry/bathroom there was a strong urine smell. The bed was comfy. The room was clean. The breakfast was okay. No issues with parking. The location was perfect for us.

The hotel was easy to get to, despite being in a large city. The hotel had been recently remodeled, was very nicely appointed. The elevator was a bit small for two people and a luggage cart. The room was large enough, two queen beds, and a lounge area, however, the bathroom was very small. The doorway was narrower than usual, and having the only mirror in the bathroom made it cramped for two to get ready in the morning. The A/C unit was working - however, the room always had a musty smell, it never seemed to dispel the humidity, and the carpet always felt a bit damp. The night check in staff was not helpful in honoring our request for a first floor room - despite the reservation being made in February. Further talk with the morning manager did clear up the mistake. The breakfast area was very clean, items presented nicely and staff very friendly.

This hotel was a great find on a recent family road trip. The hotel is all suites so each room has a pull out sofa bed in addition to the beds in the room. Our room comfortably slept our family. It was very roomy and comfortable. The hotel is currently being refurbished and is very nice in general. Our AC unit was somewhat loud and made the room feel very humid. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. The free breakfast was wonderful for the family. Waffles, French toast, hard boiled eggs, sausage, and even donuts. The coffee left a little to be desired. Would stay here again if we were in the area. Great value for the stay!

Starting with a phone call to see if they had a vacancy and If a discount coupon would be good to check out everything was perfect. First they guaranteed a room at the walk-in discount price 2 hours before we arrived. The young lady at the desk was one of the most pleasant hotel front desk personnel I have ever met , and this includes some of the finest major luxury chains. The recently refurbished room was spotless well decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast room was well stocked with a good choice of food and it was spotless. The interior corridors and lobby is tastefully decorated in grey and black. At this time the exterior is in the process of a total makeover to finish the transformation. By the way they were over 20% less and offered more than others at this rt70 location

Rooms were very clean although there was a "smokey" smell. Beds were comfortable. The AC did seem to have a hard time keeping our room cool. Breakfast was more than sufficient . Certainly okay for a few nights.

My company was driving thru to NY and this was our half way point. This hotel was amazing. The rooms were big and wonderfully clean. I loved the dinning area where you could have an actual sit down meal. The only thing I wish it had was a actual sitting area out side where the smokers could sit comfortable and not be right in front of the door.

I booked this hotel for myself and two friends as we were going to the Rock on the Range festival at The Columbus Crew (MAPFRE) Stadium. The location is to the west of Columbus, and it took us 15-20 minutes to drive to the festival venue. For us that was ideal. The staff were friendly and able to offer up advice for places to eat that were local. I was also assisted with the treadmill in the small gymnasium when I was completely flummoxed by how to start it! All in all, the staff were more than happy to talk to you and help in any way. The bedrooms were of a good size, with a king size double in each room that we had. I found the bed to be 'just right' and had no problems sleeping. No external noise was noted, which was good given the proximity to I70. There was a wide selection of channels available on the flat screen tv, and the wifi was free, and with a good signal. The bathroom was a little dated and the water from the shower lacked a little in power, but it did the job! I didn't get the chance to use the swimming pool, but it was nice to know it was available if required. The gym is small, with one treadmill, one bike, and one cross trainer, along with some free weights (dumb bells). Nearby was a Steak n'Shake and a Bob Evans, as the hotel don't do evening meals. A little drive gives you access to most of the normal chain restaurants you find in the US (for us it was Olive Garden on the first night we were there). A Wal Mart is a 5-10 minute drive away - handy for stocking up on goodies (each room had a fridge and a microwave). We were very happy with this hotel as our venue for the five days we were in Columbus. If we return to the festival next year then I would happily book here again.

The convenient location of this Best Western Hotel. It was located very near the convention site. It was highly recommended to us by the Potter's House Church of God. The moderately price of the rooms and the attractiveness of the rooms as well as the overall appearance of this facility. The courteousness of the entire staff at the desk, the custodial crew, and the dining room attendants were all very friendly and helpful.. We will be planning on staying at this faciloity when we are in the Columbus area.. The convenient location of this facility to my conference site. The overall appearance of this facility, the price, the staff, the room appearance, the easiness to find parking, the food in the dining room, the staff who had oversight of the dining room.

My family stayed at this motel for a weekend getaway. It was about halfway between the zoo and the large antique store in Harmony which were our principal destinations. The property was clean and well maintained. The room was large and the beds comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine. We would definitely stay here again.

Due to the Best Western rewards program I decided to try this Best Western rather than the Comfort Inn where I had stayed previously. I found it to be clean, comfortable, and a reasonable value. I liked the little things like a free USA Today, 24 hr. coffee, and some snacks. The in-room refrigerator and microwave was nice. The breakfast was good. My only criticism was that there was a sofa bed for seating, but not a comfortable chair to sit and watch TV.

This property is clean and well-managed. Attention to detail was seen in every aspect of our stay here. From thorough check-in—resulting in an emailed PDF receipt—to the brilliance of a door isolating lobby/dining from our hallway, and an abnormally clean and quiet room, we were impressed. Great value with a level of perfection rarely seen in a mainstream hotel.

The hotel was clean, and the staff helpful. The pool was wonderful. We arrived late 9pm but still had time to enjoy a relaxing time in the pool and hot tub. Check in and check out was fast. The value for the money is well worth the time to stay here.

The lobby of the hotel was very presentable, also the area where breakfast is served. The public areas of the hotel (lobby, halls, public restroom) were very clean. I had just a few minor complaint. The room I stayed in could have been vacuumed a bit better and the mirror could have been cleaned a bit better. Also, there was no mattress cover under the sheet. Finally, my room was next to the stairs and elevator, so I was bothered by the noise.

Oh, the joy of returning to a trusted hotel! Happily we were able to return to the Best Western Suites on Evans Court in Columbus. We were greeted warmly and entered our roomy suite with gratitude after our drive. The room was again sparkling clean with lots of room to stretch out. The refrigerator was clean and cool, which meant all the fruit and cheese we had were kept fresh and delicious. The pool was warm and welcoming and the hot tub just hot enough to relax every sore muscle in my back after all that driving. Breakfast the next day had many healthy (and a few yummy ones- doughnut) the next day. Thank you for a wonderful evening and a good night's rest! Hope to return again!

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and I love that the hotel is a non-smoking room hotel!! The breakfast was very good and a variety for even the pickiest eaters. By far the best place and cleanest. Staff is just so friendly that they make you want to come back. Pool area was beautiful and spotless!! You get a great hot breakfast each and every morning. No parking left at 9pm. waited in fire lane as asked by front desk (10 mins) for 30 mins and gave up and went in to see what was going on. came down 1 hour before breakfast done and food was gone basically, the person cooking had been called up to clean something. top ten worst hotel stays i'm sorry to say.

We took a 2 night breather from the everyday and stayed at this Best Western. It was close to the highway and we were able to get to our attractions very easy. The kids and wife also loved the work out room and the heated pool. So many places advertise that it is heated and it never is. Thank you. Even the ambient temperature in the pool room was in the high 70's. The breakfasts were very good, too. We enjoyed our stay.

Check-in was smooth, friendly, and efficient. The room was clean...accept the poop in the toilet and the stains around the stool. This was probably a one-time issue, but it was enough to make us think twice about a re-book on our return trip through Columbus.

This hotel is awesome, the breakfasts were terrific, not the run of the mill bland breakfast. The staff was very friendly. I was only going to stay one night and was so relaxed I ended up staying for two. We had the pool all to ourselves for over 3 hours on a Saturday morning. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only draw back was the flowery smell of the carpet cleaning chemicals. This was the best weekend getaways I have had in a long time.

The hotel was nice, but I had a group with 11 rooms for business and found a used condom in one room and bed bugs in 3 others. No refund or free stay was offered either and one of my employees had to go to the doctor, due to swelling from bed bug bites...

This place has the best staff. They are friendly and always willing to go out of their way to help when asked. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a great sleep. Great property to stay in! The workout room is clean and nicely setup. The washer and dryer works great if you need to wash anything during your stay. I have used it 3 times and have never had any of my clothes come out ruined...which happens quite often using public washers/dryers.

Nice place ample space in rooms, moderate breakfast. Good place to take family, easy access location. Breakfast could have been offered a little earlier on the weekend so we could get on the road faster. Maybe 6 a.m.-11 a.m, which also increases the hours.

I love this place evertime I come to Columbus this is the only hotel I book a stay at. They're always caring helpful the rooms are clean and the updates are awesome the beds are confortable. the sausauge was ok for breakfast. the pool was very clean and the people were very nice. I will always come stay here before looking into any other hotel.

this property offers a Great value. There are many restaurants and lots of shopping in the immediate area. The location is excellent, it is only a short drive to downtown Columbus, and by staying here you will avoid the higher prices associated with downtown columbus.

We have had very good luck lately with Best Wester Suites and the Evans Way Court Suites didn't let us down! The hotel was very, very clean, the staff were all helpful and accommodating, and the breakfast was as good as anything we've ever had at a Hampton or Fairfield Inn.. Since we were new to the Columbus area, we were unsure (even with our phone GPS's) on how to travel the easiest route to the Nationwide Arena. The hotel desk clerk (without a moments hesitation) printed us out directions to the Arena and a few other places we were interested in visiting. She also told us to try and arrive at the Arena BEFORE 4PM since rush hour gets pretty bad. (Traffic in Columbus is pretty intense without rush hour, so we appreciated that little tidbit). I think her name was Danielle, and she was very helpful and professional. Thank-you! If we ever travel back to Columbus, without hesitation this would be where we would book. Clean, clean, clean!

We rented a Suite with a king size bed. We were amazed on the cleanliest, comfort and, quietness of the room. Room size was more than enough for the two of us. Bathroom was comfortable. HDTV was an LG. Easy on/off of highway 70. Good morning breakfast (the becoming standard complimentary meal, scramble egg pucks, sausage, waffles, yogurt, etc.) Check in/out was easy and quick. Think the biggest thing that stands out is when we walked into the room we couldn't believe this was a Best Western hotel, the quality and comfort was up there with Marriot, Embassy Suite type of chains. Bargain value

Spacious, clean and nicely decorated room. Comfy bed with lots of pillows. Great free breakfast. Really enjoyed the swimming pool and whirlpool. Very close to lots of fast food, restaurants and shopping choices. Easy to get to downtown Columbus. And their staff was great.

The room was tastefully decorated in neutral colors. The housekeeping staff kept the entire place very clean. Breakfast choices were well above average for a continental breakfast. Coffee station and fresh fruit were available evening and morning. Beds were very comfortable with enough pillows for everyone!

The is the nicest hotel I've stayed in for the price we paid, The pool area is clean, the whirlpool is something you have to check out, great after a day at work. Bathroom/room was clean, good sized and everything was as it should be. Water is very hot. The breakfast is very generous, but you have to get up a bit early for it, it only runs from 6-9am. They had eggs, potatoes, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, donuts, biscuits & gravy, bagels, muffins & more. There's a casino just down the road & plenty of eateries too! Very convenient! I've seen a few reviews for this place that said the room smelled like smoke, but ours did not.

Whenever we're in the area we stay at this hotel. It's always clean, quiet and well maintained. We almost never have any issues, but on that rare occasion, the staff is always very helpful and accommodating. We don't even look at other hotels anymore.

We were in town for a funeral, and needed last minute arrangements. Hotel is very convenient to many amenities. Checking in and out went flawless - very clean. In room internet worked well. We didn't have the opportunity for breakfast, but it seemed very clean, and would take advantage under other circumstances.

Very nice stay. Clean room nice staff. Comfortable bed. The only thing I didn't like was the water pressure in the shower and lower end TP. It was easy off and on the interstate with access to many restaurants and shopping in the area. I would stay here again

From the front desk clerks to the breakfast room attendants--everyone was super friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. We didn't hear any noise coming from adjoining rooms---no showers running, toilets flushing, TV's blaring. Just quiet. Breakfast wasn't the usual cereal, bagels & english muffins. Those were there along with eggs, sausage, gravy & biscuits, waffles, donuts, yogurt, & fruit. I give the Best Western Suites two thumbs up!

stayed here overnite during the state playoffs. the place is very clean. front desk clerk was very friendly . check in was quick and easy. our room was big and very clean. bed was very comfortable and the sleeper sofa must have been too as my teenage son had no complaints. the breakfast was very good waffles ,scrambled eggs and bacon sausage gravy and biscuits. pool area was very clean and pool was bigger than most places. hot tub was just right. you need 2 towels just to dry off./ my only complaints are the bathroom door is not very wide, and the guest computers are right by the front door. everytime the doors open it gets very cold. could use a cubicle to block the cold air. this would not stop me from staying here again.just something minor.

Very clean facility, nice staff. It would be nice if the Breakfast selections had fewer sugary items. Adding whole grain bread, peanut butter, and yogurts that don't have artificial sweeteners would be very welcome.

For the price, convenience and quality it was a very good choice. I will stay here again when in Columbus area for business or with family for a weekend at the Zoo. Staff was friendly and comfort of room was great. I felt it was a very safe area and when I am travelling alone that is important.

We traveled from Jacksonville Florida and stayed here for one night. The People were incredibly accommodating and very friendly. My room was ready ahead of time and check in was a breeze. The room was superb. Breakfast was fabulous and the girls very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back next year to stay for the Ohio State Michigan game. The location in reference to the stadium was great and the convenience to the restaurants was great. Definitely and awesome stay.

"Confirmed reservations mean nothing"

We had reservations for a room with 2 beds, but when we arrived to check in, we were told that another guest had not vacated our room, so we were being assigned to a room with a king bed. After 42 years of marriage, there are reasons we now choose to sleep in separate beds! Consequently, neither of us got a good night's sleep. The floor of the shower was too slippery for my husband to feel secure. There was only one electrical outlet available on each side of the bed....inadequate for my tablet and iphone which need to be beside the bed. To be fair, I must mention that the facilities were clean and in good working condition and the desk clerks were polite and professional. We did not take advantage of the spa tub in our room, the indoor pool, or the breakfast buffet. We travel to this area at least 6 times each year. This was our first and last stay at Best Western Suites.

Sometimes in the hotel business guest that are scheduled to checkout do not leave and do not contact the desk to see if the room is reserved. I hope you do give us another try and do not judge the brand for one guests decision to inconvenience both the hotel and yourself. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while we took a training class in Columbus. We have no complaints. The entire hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. We needed a few more towels and they brought them to us without expecting anything. We even got a call to see if we found our room ok shortly after we arrived. Breakfast on the morning was ok and fresh. Seriously, we have no complaints. Will definitely stay here agin.

Arrived Saturday night for an overnight stay. Staff was super friendly. I was very surprised when they gave me a care package at time of check-in, Snacks and water. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast the next morning had a lot of choices. I used my points and stayed for free. They treated me as if I was paying full price anyway.

Great hotel with a good price! I believe it is newly renovated. It was very clean! The hotel is right off the highway, easy to find, and really quiet. The beds are soft and we slept great. Great breakfast with a large variety. We would stay here again!!

I absolutely loved this hotel! it is by far one of the best i have stayed in. People were great and the cleanliness was amazing. i really loved the decor of the lobby and my room. Wifi worked great and i loved the set up of the room as far as where the bed was and couch and desk. Great access to the highway from here as well.

Room was very nice, spacious and well prepared. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The free breakfast was as good as most any other hotel. Check-out was easily accomplished. The local taxes applied are exorbitant.

It is a nice and friendly quite clean hotel. the staff is kind, beds are comfortable, a very good internet service in the lobby and in the room. I suggest that lights in the corridor should be dimmed after 22:00h and sensors can be used when a visitor comes, light from the corder penetrates the room.

Our room was large and clean with a large bathroom and lots of counter space. The TV had lots of HD channels as well as free on demand shows and movies. A desk and chair with plugs nearby was included. The rooms and lobby area are well decorated. The bed was comfy for a quiet night's sleep. Breakfast was good (french toast was very good) with a good sized seating area. The bathroom door is only 24 inches wide which we thought was strange for a hotel. Some would definitely have trouble getting in and out. Excellent value for the price charged. There are 2 restaurants (Bob Evans and a Steak and Shakes) within walking distance.

I have no idea why they were built to only have 28inch doors. The room has a lot of space and so does the bathroom. I myself have questioned why the doors to the bathroom are small. The hotel was clean and well decorated. Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the smell of cigarette smoke. (I'm not a smoker so it bothered me). I was told the hotel is non-smoking. So, the odor must have lingered from when smoking was allowed, I suppose. Other than that, I have no complaints and would recommend it. Hotel is near restaurants and shopping but is in a very congested area as far as traffic is concerned. Be patient when exiting the parking lot.

Thank you for staying with us. We are all non smoking however sometimes the guest will still smoke in the room. This is very hard to get out of the room. Hopefully for the hotels someone will come up with an odor eliminator that really works. We have all learned to turn right when exiting the drive and go a quick left to turn around . The traffic is heavy at certain times of the day. Hope to see you again.

Newly renovated, well appointed, clean, and caring, attentive staff. Everything worked. There were no facility glitches, which is unusual at many hotels. Staff seemed proud to be serving the guests. Easy access to interstates. Many restaurants nearby.

We had a room that was ostensibly billed as a suite. My definition of suite implies two or more rooms. I guess they consider Room 1 as a sleeping room and Room 2 as a bathing room. Room 1 had a King size bed situated between the jacuzzi and a pull out sofa bed. To be fair, there was some kind of vestigial arch on the ceiling between the King size bed and the sofa but no one in their right mind would consider this puny arch as a demarcation line between the two rooms of a suite....it was a decoration on the ceiling. I use the overall condition of the bathroom as a barometer for the cleanliness of a room. This place was substandard. There was black mold around the joint between the bathtub and the tiled floor. This was not the result of poor maid service, this was the result of poor facility maintenance. From a safety standpoint, the rear exterior door did not lock so the hotel was vulnerable to intruders. The heater was exceptionally loud in this room.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I do know that most people think that a suite means two rooms however in the hotel business, suite means the size of the room. Our rooms are extra sized to fit a sleeper sofa in the area divided by the half wall. Our rooms are newly renovated and all have new tile in the bath room areas. I will check this room to see what is the problem. We as a rule leave the exterior door unlocked until midnight to help with the guest that are coming in with their luggage. It is a safe area and it is always in camera view. Again I want to apologize for your stay not being what you were expecting.

We spent one night at this Best Western on our driving vacation. The check-in was efficient and friendly, however there was no information provided regarding breakfast area or time, pool area, wi-fi information, etc. It is not difficult to find these things, just would have been better had it been provided when we checked in. The lobby was neat and clean, the parking was good. We had a large suite with sofa, desk, microwave, fridge, flat screen TV and the room was clean. However, our room was on the first floor at the very back of the hotel. The problem was every time someone entered the building, the back entrance door would slam, with guests arriving late it was quite loud and should be fixed. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. There are few if any restaurants in the area, so you need to drive. It is close to the airport for those who are not driving. Overall, the hotel was good but pretty average.

Thanks for responding to Trip Advisor. I am sorry you wasn't made aware of the areas inside the hotel. We do have a sign posted outside the breakfast area with times posted on it and the guest room also has it inside the guest directory. I am looking into a proper way to give the info to the guest at check in without having to give them more items to carry with their luggage. Thank you for letting me know about the door I will have it fixed right away. Hope you stay again!

Well managed establishment. You can believe the pictures. We were there to attend OSU game. Stayed 2 days. Room was very clean and environment was unusually quiet for a motel. Breakfast food was good. Nice selection. All associates had excellent appearances and were gracious and helpful. Kumar Taxi Service was most enjoyable. Plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Will definitely use this motel again. Very soon I hope.

"Avoid...This Best Western...."

My family and I traveled to Columbus, OH for an 18u softball tournament. When I checked in I felt as though I was bothering the desk attendant. Our room on the second floor smelled old and musty. The bathroom tile was chipped beyond repair, so let's just leave it like it is....The carpets are terribly stained the bedding was disgusting. I would not suggest staying at this hotel to anyone...

I want to apologize to you for the experience you had while staying with Best Western Hotels, however I am not sure it was our hotel that you were at. We have newly renovated rooms with all new tile floors in every guest room and throughout the hotel. Both guest rooms and all public spaces have been renovated within the last year. "football weekend"

We came in for a football weekend. The front desk was very helpful. We had booked through another site and they only had one of the rooms booked. The hotel was full but the front desk called to get us another room at the hotel next door. Everything was clean and fairly new. The breakfast had variety, was hot and well done. We loved the pool and hot tub and liked that it was open until 11:00.

The hotel is conveniently located near the interstate highway but we didn't notice any road noise. The room was very attractive and clean. The mattress was excellent...probably the best we've ever encountered. Very quiet room. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was obvious that the hotel was recently renovated. The TV was a nice flat screen model but there were no HD channels. They are waiting for the cable company to install desktop boxes. If HD viewing is important to you, call ahead to confirm they have made the switch. We appreciated that we could walk to a Bob Evans restaurant and an ice cream parlor. We would definitely stay there again.
