Room was clean and nice. Wish i did research and knew this hotel does not offer a free breakfast. Guest do get 20% discount in the attached Restaurant. That was the only disappointment. We didn't use fitness center or the pool but they did look nice.

"Nice room, just high price for area due to events"

Shannon E, Beaufort, South Carolina 08/07/2019

Needed accommodations for one night as we were in transit during a driving vacation. Cody hotels were booked for Fourth of July events and this king bed room was only available at over $300 per night which is pricey for the area it was in (not in downtown strip) and what the room was. Comfortable bed & stone shower were nice. Counter service was ok, nothing great, nothing wrong.

"Extremely nice hotel"

Suzy8672, Alpine, Texas 05/07/2019

This hotel was very clean and had such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Chris, the front desk clerk, was extremely helpful and informative. We highly recommend this hotel!

"Great place to stay"

DaBraddahs, Waialua, Hawaii 04/07/2019

Super easy to get anywhere from here. They even have a bus stop for the Cody Rodeo!! Lovely restaurant; we ate 4 meals there and were never disappointed. My granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool immensely. Lobby is inviting as are the little mini gathering areas with fireplaces on all floors

"Very nice hotel!"

JIFJLF2018, Cheyenne, Wyoming 03/07/2019

The staff was very friendly upon check-in and with any questions we had. The facility was exceptionally clean and quiet. The views from our balcony were amazing! We had a suite and it is high tourist season, so the price is high, but worth it. We walked to the museum and downtown easily, but the distance is probably close to a mile.

"Beautiful and Clean"

User 03/07/2019

We visited July 2018. The staff was friendly, the decor was lovely, and the room was spacious and clean. We also had a good meal in the restaurant. Our room had a nice sized balcony. It is on the pricer side, but would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves back up that way.

"Clean, comfortable and beautiful!!!"

User 01/07/2019

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Not terribly noisy like some others we've stayed at. Close and convenient location to most everything. Will definitely stay here again when in the area! Great pool for the kids, free laundry facility and great restaurant, would definitely recommend.

"The place to stay in Cody..."

674francesl, Henderson, Nevada 26/06/2019

Very nice decor. Centrally located, walking distance to the museum. Very nice staff. Our room had a balcony, great views, clean, quiet. Restaurants and shopping short drive or a good walk. Friendly town!

cheznous3, Fort Wayne, Indiana 24/06/2019

We checked in later than we like to and got the last room available. I am extremely particular and Will at the front desk was extremely accommodating and courteous. I recently stayed in another premier hotel (another state) and was overwhelmingly disappointed!! I am a cleanliness nut and this causes me ( as well as my husband !) a lot of stress checking into hotels. This premier is not only beautifully decorated, it is extremely clean and well managed. Bravo to all involved in housekeeping as well managing this hotel and thank you from a quest who appreciates quality in all aspects but especially in cleanliness!!! Thanks again to Will and Jen !!!

"Beautiful room and great service!"

User 24/06/2019

We arrived during a crazy rain storm and since we were on a motorcycle we were soaked! The front desk staff was great quick, friendly and up graded our room. Since the weather was so bad we went to the restaurant in the hotel even though it was our anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere special. We had great service and delicious food we even went again for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!!

"Very nice look and feel but very expensive"

User 20/06/2019

Was the most expensive property available in Cody when we were there. $299. Common areas are very well done and comfortable. Excellent staff at the front desk. Rooms were big and very comfortable. Well lit, good climate control. Wifi was terrible! Breakfast starts late 7:00am. No shuttle to/from the airport. Location is a bit far from town.

"Great Hotel"

215Brian, Metro Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota 16/06/2019

Stayed at Ivy for 6-7th time. We come to the Cody area to visit The Hideout Guest Ranch and always stay in Cody on the Saturday before and Saturday after. It is an excellent property, undoubtedly one of the finest physical plants in the area. In addition the staff is very accommodating. We arrived before noon - the usually check out time - yesterday. I had called when we were about an hour away and the room was ready on our arrival. We had dinner in their restaurant last night. First rate, much better than usual hotel fare. Again staff was very accommodating.

Thank you for choosing the Premier Life. We are so thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us again. Our staff pride themselves over our guest satisfaction. We will be sure to pass along the amazing feedback. We look forward to your next visit.

"Great stay with very welcoming staff."

User 11/06/2019

We planned our vacation for yellowstone and looked at all the area hotels. The Best Western Ivy Primier is the best in the area and it is located close to everything. The staff are some of most welcoming I've encountered anywhere in the world. I highly recommend the Best Western Ivy Primier.

"Unexpectedly good hotel in a small town"

Dan I, Austin, Texas 06/06/2019

Staying in Cody for just one night of a long road trip, we were looking for a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a Best Western Premier. It was a few extra dollars, but well worth it. Clean, modern, quiet, and good service. It's more, quite honestly, than you expect in a small town.

"Family Travel"

Traveler23469272855, Billings, Montana 28/05/2019

We were a large group of 4 families traveling together with 3 small children. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, decor and comfort of this property. We were able to get adjoining rooms so grandparents could help with the young children. We were also placed near the pool and fitness room which was very convenient. We also had a fabulous dinner in a private dining rom and a excellent breakfast the next morning in the resturant. Staff ws excellent and super attentive. We all highly recomment BWP Ivy Inn.

"Little pricier but worth it!"

User 16/05/2019

Little more expensive than the other Best Westerns that we stayed in while in Wy and South Dakota but it was very worth it. Nice, fancy, and quiet spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Beautiful shower area with rock floor and great water pressure. Nice, soft absorbent towels. Great amenities. No free breakfast but if you're a Best Western Reward member you get a 20% discount at the restaurant on site that has great food at breakfast as well as at dinner. There's a bar in the restaurant too. Nice staff all the way around. Glad we chose this hotel while in Cody.

"Great Hotel!!"

User 15/05/2019

We were visiting family here and after a hurry experience at another hotel we booked this hotel. When we arrived we were upgraded to a suite. It was this nicest room we have ever been in. This hotel does not offer free continental breakfast but does offer a discount which was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

WestYorksHomebird, West Yorkshire 12/05/2019

Stayed here for two nights and felt so comfortable. We had two queen beds with a balcony on the third floor offering a lovely view. The room was spacious with a sink, coffee machine, mugs, glasses, microwave, fridge, large tv, good aircon/heating system and free WiFi that worked well. The bathroom was of a high standard with a walk in shower area, plenty of hot water and good towels. The main road is busy but the sliding doors do keep the noise out and the soundproofing generally is good. Plenty of free parking. There is a large pool and small fitness centre, small comfortable lounge areas on each floor. Free coffee in reception area and a restaurant attached to the hotel offering 20% off breakfast. The hotel is almost out of town but it only takes about 15-20mins to walk to the centre. There is a large Walmart a short drive away and plenty of eateries. This hotel has very friendly, professional staff and is of a high standard throughout. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

"Great hotel"

Juli75452, Carrollton, Texas 12/05/2019

Beautiful room and super nice staff! The elevator was broken during our stay, but the front desk was more than accommodating and let us use the service elevator. Our suite had a balcony that had a nice view and as a bonus we could watch deer!

"Great hotel"

Steve C, Indianapolis, Indiana, United States 29/04/2019

This is a great hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to see how nice the guest rooms were. The beds were super comfortable, the bathroom and shower was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Would stay again.

Fabulous stay in a fabulous hotel. Had everything we could've wanted. If I came back to Cody I'd definitely stay again! A real American hotel experience, in such an ideal location. My friend and I were more than happy with our stay.

"A little pricey for the time of year"

wash400, Jarvis, Canada 16/04/2019

Went to two other places before here..(comfort Inn..not open under construction)(holiday Inn express..smelly entering the we found this place EMMACULATE for the same $$$ breakfast but 20% is nice..all amenities..just a little narrow between desks and bed so we just moved the chair...its was very quiet..until 745am when the dumpster was unloaded,,about 10 mins..other than that great location just skirting cody..and about any end of town

"Great meals in Cody"

User 13/04/2019

We eat here often and are never disappointed. Breakfasts are a surprisingly good deal, and suppers have a range of excellent choices from steaks to sandwiches to pasta. The service is great and always comes with a smile.

"Expensive for Amenities Offered"

RICK B, BILLINGS 12/04/2019

We were there with our three grandsons, for one night, we had a room that would accomodate the 5 of us, with a pull out sofa bed. This was listed as a suite, but it seemed small in comparison to other places we have rented. The room was clean, the linens nice, the location of the hotel is good. The pool area is well maintained and our grandsons enjoyed their time there. The water is a comfortable temperature, I even got in with them. There is a hot tub also. I did not realize that a breakfast did not come with the room, that was my mistake, but it does make the price for the room expensive. They offer a 20% discount at the ajoining restaurant. We were on the second floor and could hear the people above us, as we were settling down to go to sleep.

"New and well designed hotel"

448ThomasB, Eagan, Minnesota 07/03/2019

Wonderful hotels for families exploring the area, especially Yellowstone National Park. The hotel has a lodge feeling. housekeeping staff craft cute animals with the towels. Parking is free and convenient. Easily waking distance to the museum.

"Pleasantly surprised"

Gtiniacos, Lewiston 10/02/2019

Highly recommended the BW Ivy Inn. I have stayed at many BW hotels but my first time at a premier on a business trip. It is very comfortable, clean, spacious, has lots of amenities, and the staff really makes you feel at home. Very convenient bar and restaurant that serves delicious meals and don't even have to leave the hotel after a long day.

"Very clean!"

Michelle C, Billings, Montana 02/02/2019

The only place to stay in Cody. The beds are very comfortable with nice linens, the room very quiet, beautiful view from our balcony, and upscale decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very very clean which is a top priority. Will stay again. The only small issue was the showerhead did not have alot of pressure.

"Exceptional service and facilities"

Discover17816105900, Torrington, Wyoming 13/01/2019

Staff was friendly and accommodating!! They went out of their way to help us. The facility was clean and beautifully designed and decorated!! They have thought of everything to make your stay the best ever! They have many little books and crannies with tv and fireplace for you to relax and read or watch tv without being stuck in your room the whole time.

"Western Themed"

Jellybaby67, Reading, United Kingdom 04/01/2019

Lovely hotel, themed really nicely. We opted for a mini suite at the front of the hotel. I was a bit concerned it may be noisy being on main road, but it was very quiet. Our room was very comfortable and large. We ate in the restaurant and had a good meal. Would stay again.

I will be sure to pass your comments along to our restaurant staff. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you again soon.

"One of our Favorites"

John K, Fleming Island, Florida 11/12/2018

Ivy Inn & Suites is our favorite hotel in Cody. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a great western theme. Each of the three floors has a very comfortable lounge area with TV and fireplace. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff is courteous and helpful. The suite with sitting area and balcony is awesome, featuring a comfortable sofa and wonderful views. This is definitely our "go to" accommodation for our frequent trips to the area.

"Stayed here 2 nights - happy with the quality of the hotel"

pqjb2016, Maine 04/12/2018

Stayed here for 2 nights and was satisfied. Did a lot of research before determining that this was our best choice in Cody. A bit too far to walk from here completely through downtown but you can easily walk to the Buffalo Bill Museum. Room was clean and quiet. Nothing fancy but adequate. Ate all our meals in their attached restaurant which was convenient and we could bill to the room. The food was good there - service is a bit slow.

"Beautiful Hotel"

0ROBERTOA, Sidney, Montana 24/11/2018

Wonderful location and great decor. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Rooms are tastefully decorated, quiet and very comfy. Only complaint was all the TV channels were analog instead of HD quality. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area.

great food0 appetizer options and main courses are prepared well. Beautiful rooms and showers, the stone walk in showers are next level. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Wet bar in very nice as well.

"Cody Business Meeting"

gena1313, Billings, Montana 25/10/2018

excellent service, beautiful and comfortable rooms. Meeting room was large and and food was excellent. Wait staff top notch, quietly serving dinner throughout our meeting as requested and you hardly knew they were there. I would stay her for vacation and or work again.

What a fantastic place to stay. Thank you for a great experience. Dont just drive through Cody on your way to Yellowstone, stay overnight here, and start your day completely refreshed, and ready for your adventure into the park.

"Awesome hotel"

dianagk53, Atwater, California 16/10/2018

We were booking a trip to Yellowstone Park so we decided to stay in Cody Wyoming for a couple of nights. The Best Western Ivy is positively the best hotel we've stayed in so far. The room was awesome! Comfortable beds, very spacious with a sitting area. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was great, reasonably priced and great service. You can't go wrong with this hotel!

"Best of the best"

Johan Y, Evergem, Belgium 10/10/2018

Large room with all facilities. We were only staying overnight on our way from Yellowstone to Badlands NP. One of the best hotels of our roadtrip through the West of the USA. Friendly and professional staff. Don't miss the restaurant ! (8th Street at the Ivy).

"The best Best Western of all"

Taylor B, Chicago, Illinois 10/10/2018

Just when I've written a review, praising a Best Western as the best we've stayed in, we visit another one that is even better. Book a room at the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn and Suites in Cody, Wyoming. Located at 1800 8th Street, a five-minute drive from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, Old Town Trail, Cody Cattle Company, Cody Dug Up Gun Museum and other popular tourist attractions, it is the only hotel we have visited with a 100 percent approval rate. No negatives. A 9.9 rating. From the moment you walk into the luxurious lobby, you know it is a special place. Unlike most Best Westerns, it has a full-service restaurant. In fact, 8th Street at the Ivy is the best restaurant in Cody, recipient of TripAdvisor's 2017 Certificate of Excellence. Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites has everything...70 air conditioned rooms, restaurant, bar/lounge, indoor swimming pool, spa tub, fitness center, 24-hour business center, dry cleaning service, laundry, complimentary newspapers, concierge, housekeeping daily, wired and wireless internet access, even room service. We booked a suite with a balcony and spectacular mountain views, a king-size pillowtop bed, double sofabed, 42-inch HD flat screen TV, in-room safe, wet bar, microwave, mini-refrigerator and Keurig brewing system. First class all the way. It's hard to imagine if Best Western can improve on this. Dog-walker? Casino? Live entertainment with Tony Bennett or Lady Gaga?

"Outstanding hotel"

User 08/10/2018

High quality throughout, this is the nicest Best Western I've stayed in. The rooms are large, modern and comfortable. This is a 4 star hotel. Even though it is a bit pricey, it is well worth it. The staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurant has great food. I would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

"Wonderful Accomodations"

Melissa W, bigolepig 04/10/2018

We booked this place last minuted using Best Western Points. WOW were we surprised just how NICE this place is. This hotel is new, nice and has the wow factor...and it is a Best Western. Everything about this place was above expectations, from the front desk staff, to the room, the entire place was clean, new, modern and had just enough "Cody" flair to make it unique. Do not hesitate booking will be more than pleased. The restaurant is also exceptional choice for a tasty meal.

"Road trip"

Sandra C, Columbus, Mississippi, USA 02/10/2018

This is worthy of the name "Premier". Everything was excellent from check in to check out. There is a restaurant onsite and the breakfast was not only good but very reasonably priced including a discount with your room key! Would definitely stay there again.

"Would have liked more"

User 30/09/2018

The room was nice with good bedding. The lights were all dim. Kinda weird. they had a Keurig coffee pot w a nice selection of pods. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was ok. Dry biscui and scrambled eggs, my eggs Benedict were ok but one of the muffins was burned. Good location in cure Cody. They are trying to be upscale but haven't hit the mark.

"Traveling out west."

Phil B, Otsego 29/09/2018

Great Hotel: Clean, nice rooms, great beds. Bar & restaurant in Hotel. Very close to everything.. Spent 3 nights including trip to Yellowstone. Pool area very nice and hotel is very quiet. I hour to get to Yellowstone from here. Only ate Breakfast here but tasty and got discount from staying here.

"First time travel to the West"

User 28/09/2018

Had not used Best Western for accommodations in a long time. My husband & I were extremely pleased. Everything from main lobby and overall decor of lobbies and hallways to the room itself. Absolutely outstanding room. Great size ,comfortable bed and the shower/bathroom set up was phenomenal. To top it off the restaurant attached to main lobby was great food, decor and reasonable prices.

"Nice Stay"

RBW, New York 27/09/2018

The Best Western Premier Ivy Inn is one of the nicest Best Western hotels I have stayed in. The lobby was very nice and my room was clean and modern. The walk in shower was great! Although I am a Best Western rewards member my room request was not honored. As many others have mentioned, breakfast was not included in the room rate, but the restaurant gave hotel guests 25 percent off.

"Not all that I was hoping for..."

Paul L, Lincoln Park, Michigan 27/09/2018

The room was okay and comfortable, but for $245, it should be. The two main issues I have is that, first, there was no breakfast included - unusual for a Best Western. Secondly, the staff was very disinterested and not motivated to be accommodating. I tried to get road and driving instructions about Yellowstone, and was really met with a dismissive attitude. There was one desk person with a long beard who treated me like I was a nuisance. And in the morning I wanted to get an early start and went to the desk at 5:30 am to get a hard printout of my statement, and there was NO ONE at the desk. I waited and waited. I came back 20 minutes later finally someone showed up. Also,The staff in the restaurant was curt and hurried. Hopefully, we just caught everyone on a bad day, but I would suggest the whole staff receive some hospitality training. "Guests" are the reason they are there. It is a shame, because the hotel is beautiful and is in a great location.

"Pleasantly surprised."

seve8ev, Maineville, Ohio 26/09/2018

This turned out to be a very big surprise. The property, lobby and interior were decorated and high finishes were used. Our room was fantastic, more along the lines of a Marriott or Hilton! First class in every way. The location was excellent and we drank our coffee in the morning on our balcony that had a great view. We would definitely stay here again.

OilyRN, Madison, Wisconsin 24/09/2018

After a long day of driving we had reservations here and I wish I could have stayed another night. I don't know how to describe the room other than amazing! It was a two bedroom with balcony! It looks like each room has their own balcony! Love it! Upon check-in the staff was very helpful and friendly. This hotel is located right on the main drag. This is by far the best place to stay in Cody! Parking is free and easy! They do have a restaurant but we didn't try it. The menu looked good!

"Two night stay in Cody"

User 18/09/2018

Excellent newer attractive BW. Clean, good size, well appointed rooms. Wide hallways. Quiet for good sleeping. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. No free breakfast but 25% off breakfast at their restaurant (8th Street). Servers and food here very good and reasonably priced. Great location.

"Good location and excellent quality"

AlbertSolihull, Solihull 16/09/2018

We had had an unfortunate experience with other accommodation in the area and visited this hotel and asked for two rooms. Staff were attentive and helpful. We were offered adjacent rooms, as we had a young child to consider. There was a balcony, and although this fronted a main road, this was not a problem. The building is quite interesting, and attractive, for a fairly new hotel and the atrium really very pleasant. Access to the car parks was easy. Breakfast was quite good although one member of staff was not the most friendly. Location is fine for all the sites of Cody and around.

"Great stay at BW Premier Ivy Inn and Suites"

VisitorBob, California USA 14/09/2018

On the drive from Yellowstone National Park to Billings, we had a one-night stay at the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn and Suites, in Cody. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet and service hospitable - clicking off all the items on my hotel checklist. Our second floor room had a fridge, coffeemaker, walk-in shower, small sofa, coffee table, one side chair and a work desk. We had dinner and breakfast at the Inn restaurant. The food was tasty - though if you're looking for very fine dining, there might be other choices to consider.

"Top notch Best Western with great location."

JMMGlenGardner_NJ, Glen Gardner, NJ 14/09/2018

This Best Western has to be one of the nicest in the US. First of all, its only three years old. Everything is clean and neat. The lobby is beautiful. The people that work there are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, well appointed and quiet. there is ample parking, it is close to everything you'd come to Cody to see. Breakfast is good, very reasonable and you get 25% off if your a guest of hotel. We really liked it here.

"Overnight in cody"

pgentile, Southigton 08/09/2018

We where traveling from SD to Yellowstone with an overnight in Cody. We are so glad we chose this hotel. We arrived late and where the last people to check in for the night and where greeted by two very pleasant gentlemen after a very long drive! We did not get to really enjoy this beautiful hotel because we where up very early the next day. The lady working the early morning shift at the front desk was very helpful telling us about Yellowstone and giving us a map and suggested taking coffe for the road. We traveled for a week and this was the nicest place we stayed. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable! I wouldn't stay anywhere else again in Cody if I am ever lucky enough to go back!

"LOVE this hotel, just love it!"

flybynight747, Menomonie, Wisconsin 08/09/2018

I could live here!! This hotel is beautiful, clean, quiet, comfortable! It hits ALL my boxes. We stayed in a 2 room suite which had 2 full bathrooms, a completely separate room for the beds, a full family room area with a wet bar and full size Keurig. Beds are heavenly with plenty of covers and cover options (blanket and comforter), plug in next to bed for phone and such. The staff was great, very welcoming and informative. The coffee in the lobby is even good! Laundry facilities are available. Shower head and water pressure are great with a lovely stone pebble floor. Towels are thick and absorbent. Top marks for QUIET, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, FRIENDLY!

Snot_Finder, Wyoming 07/09/2018

This is a great place to stay. It is dressed up version of a basic motel - but they did it very well. Service is good. The room was very clean and comfortable with a modern roomy bathroom. It is right on the highway without any greenspace (hotel and parking only) but close to town. The indoor pool is a little larger than average with a large hot tub. This is one of my top 3 places to stay in Cody.

"Really great place to stay in Cody"

User 02/09/2018

This hotel is in a convenient location and the guest rooms are beautiful. The shower in our room had a rock floor and the shower head was great for tall people. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

"This hotel is amazing, Best place in Cody"

User 01/09/2018

Stayed here after taking a break from Yellowstone. Of course this hotel is amazing it's brand new. I just hope management and staff maintain its beauty. It's really beautiful. We had two queen suite, which was perfect for us. Room was big and super clean. Beds comfortable. We had dinner which was pretty good. The Thai chicken wraps were awesome. Staff in diningroom were very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

"Great stay at a great Inn"

justducky09, Fairfield, CT 01/09/2018

We stayed at the BW Premier recently and were very pleased with the hotel and its amenities. The room was clean, the lighting was good and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was nice with a lot of choices for everyone. We were with a big group and decided to order pizza one night instead of going out. The ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful in guiding us to Pizza on the Run that delivered! I would highly recommend this BW!

"Gem of a hotel"

needaceilingfan, Clarendon Hills, Illinois 28/08/2018

Friendly staff, super clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Great location on our way into Yellowstone! My only wish was that they served a complimentary breakfast typical of most Best Wester Hotels. But the 25% discount offered at the attached restaurant is a nice offer!

"Beautiful clean hotel!"

Cheryl S, Simi Valley, California 28/08/2018

We originally were going to stay at the Irma. So so so glad we chose this hotel instead. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The beds were awesome. So comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Great location to local attractions. Say hi to Alan, Callie, and Missy!!

"Best Western Ivy Inn"

Barbara K, Princeton, United States 27/08/2018

This is a fantastic hotel! I loved it. We were on the 3rd floor. Each floor has a sitting room that is different from the other floors. Has a very nice atrium that is not so big that it takes away from the look of the hotel so that it would feel like a cavern. It was nice that they supplied free washer and dryers. The only thing I thought that could make it better was to have a free breakfast in the restaurant they had downstairs, like they do at an Embassy Suites. At this one, you had to purchase breakfast so we went out to breakfast each day.

"WOW! What a great Hotel"

Kevin B, Lynnwood, Washington, United States 25/08/2018

Talk about a nice comfortable room, We drove about 6 hrs through Yellowstone and we had made this reservation early. We were very surprised at the suite with our balcony looking out to the mountains. The bed was the quality and personally my best night of sleep. I hurt my back before leaving boating with the kids. So it meant so much to get a great nights sleep. The shower is a rough rock floor and the shower feels like your under a wonderful water fall. This has to be the best place to Cody to stay.

"BeautIful property, great service"

Risa S, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 24/08/2018

The hotel is like a fancy lodge. It is beautiful. The room was very nice and the bathroom was really great. Big shower and all. I was very happy. Everything was clean. The room was quiet. Service was excellent ans friendly. Free coffee in morning. There are free laundry machine available, but we didn't use them. We ate in the restaurant because it was convenient. It was average, consistent. Would definitely recommend.

"Great Yellowstone Hotel"

Pern453, Wisconsin 22/08/2018

Stayed one night before we visited Yellowstone. I debated between a 4-5 but in the end the cleanliness, facilities, and friendly staff won me over. Our room had two double beds and a couch. Very clean. Refrigerator microwave and a huge deck. The shower had a stone floor like hgtv. We went to the pool and had it and the hot tub to ourselves. We ate dinner in the restaurant. Good but not excellent. Loved having the laundry on the third floor. Brought our own soap and dryer sheets. Thanks trip advisor tips! Lots of outlets for charging phones. And lighting too. Our rate was aaa through hotel.

"Great Hotel"

telquist, Kennewick, Washington 20/08/2018

I was travelling with my kids throught Wyoming and chose the Premier property over the Plus property. Was initially hesitant at the Premier was more expensive. I was very happy with the experience. Access to a real breakfast versus the instant stuff at the competitors places is a real plus for me.

"Maybe most expensive hotel in Cody but worth it."

Iintrepid, Boston, Massachusetts 18/08/2018

We had been staying in an RV near Yellowstone for a week and I was ready for some luxury. Built 6 years ago but feels quite new. Best Western matches any status you may have with another hotel chain, so as diamond status we were upgraded to a suite with two queen beds, frig, microwave and coffee maker. The pool was quite nice and I appreciated that it had a long section that was 5' deep. I really liked the design and materials of the walk in shower. Checking in and out was a snap. The on-site bar and restaurant were just fine and reviewed elsewhere.

"Great Hotel near Yellowstone "

Travels0609, Bostic, North Carolina 16/08/2018

This is the nicest Best Western I have seen it is amazing. The pool was nice. The rooms were really nice. The restaurant downstairs was really good for breakfast and it was not free BUT you got a 25 percent off discount.

"Pleasantly surprised"

theyardbug, Atlanta, Georgia 15/08/2018

Our Mountain View room did include a noisy road, but we still enjoyed it. The shower was a great large size walk in, bathroom had plenty of room and nice amenities. Each floor had an outside lobby/meeting area with large TV and fireplace. The pool and hot tub looked clean and nice. We only ate breakfast at the onsite restaurant, but it was inexpensive, delicious, good selection, and you get a 25% discount. The bed was very comfortable, nice linens, fridge, microwave. Friendly, helpful staff. Definitely would return, and highly recommend staying there.

"Very Nice Spot"

John-Cypress-Tx, Houston, Texas 13/08/2018

Very nice spot. The room we had also and an exterior slider so we could park the car right by the room for loading and unloading. The room was modern and spacious with sufficient power outlets and a great shower in the bathroom. The room was quiet and comfortable, would definitely stay here again.

"Great Hotel"

32arnettel, Livermore, California 13/08/2018

When you want the best in the Cody area the Ivy Inn should be your choice. Excellent amenities, friendly accommodating staff, and superior rooms. We highly recommend staying here while visiting the area.

"Great place to stay in Cody"

amandak2782, Eagle, Wisconsin 13/08/2018

This hotel is very nice and up to date. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and offer everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are kept clean. It is a bit outside of town, so not really walking distance to much, but also not a long drive to anything. Nice convenience area to pick up snacks, water, etc. Ate breakfast at the on site restaurant, meal was good and a fair price. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a good place to stay. Only complaint is a mountain view room also includes a noisy road....could not open patio door due to the noise.

"Wonderful Hotel in Cody!!"

Marybeth M, Southbury, Connecticut 06/08/2018

We stayed at this hotel on Wednesday, August 1st as part of a 9-day family adventure going to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National park and then on to Mt. Rushmore. I had researched our route extensively and picked Cody as a destination so that we could break up our trip and also see the rodeo. I had read so many reviews that said how great this hotel was, and BOY, were they RIGHT!! The service at this hotel was amazing, the rooms were the cleanest that we had in all the hotels we stayed at and the beds were super comfortable!! This hotel was everything I had expected it to be and more, and I would highly recommend this hotel to any travelers going to the Cody, WY area. The hotel's on-site restaurant was also excellent - we ate dinner there and the food was delicious!! All-in-all, this is a great hotel - well managed and worth staying at!!

"Nice Rooms, great space"

mel_rainbowchildcare, Brighton, United Kingdom 05/08/2018

This hotel is situated on the road leading out of the town, however it's only a short drive back to the Main Street. It's a great location if your heading out towards Yellowstone and there's plenty to do within the area. Has a lovely pool and chairs to sit round, it's also larger than most standard hotel pools. Rooms are a good size with facilities, and are clean and well decorated. Bathroom was a walk in shower which was lovely. It's a short walk to the Pizza Hut which serves a great buffet. Hotel has a restaurant on site but did not try this so cannot comment.

"Great place ."

egraham2018, Jefferson, South Carolina 03/08/2018

My husband and I stayed here on July 25th on the way to Yellowstone. Hotel was very nice and staff was pleasant as well. We had a room with a fireplace which was nice. Our room was very nice, clean, comfortable. We had breakfast at hotel restaurant and it was very good. Would definitely stay there again.

"Excellent hotel. Exceeded our expectations."

GlobeWanders, Greenville, South Carolina 01/08/2018

Upon arriving at this property, we were impressed with the quality of the hotel. Staff was friendly; rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. High-end bathroom was a nice touch. We liked the complimentary self-service laundry available on the 3rd floor (just bring your own detergent). We would stay here again for sure.

"High Quality Hotel with Restaurant to Match"

deanaweidner, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 01/08/2018

Despite reading some negative comments about the air conditioning (which we found not to be accurate during our 88 degree stay there), we booked our family's July 21 overnight stay in Cody at this facility. Each of the three rooms was modern, spacious, nicely furnished in Western motif and equipped with all amenities we expected. What was the real surprise was the hotel's 8th Street Restaurant. One of our grandson's has severe food allergies (eggs and dairy are life threatening, as well as allergies to nuts, fish, sesame and gluten...Celiac disease), so accommodating him at restaurants is always an issue. Our waiter and the chef found a very good combination of foods for him, while serving delicious meals (both dinner and breakfast) for the other 8 people in our party. All staff were friendly and helpful, so clearly the right place for us.

"Lovely hotel"

User 31/07/2018

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved our stay. The candy at check in and out were nice touches. We were right by the elevator and you never would have known it- very quiet! The breakfast at the restaurant was good and the hotel offered a 25% discount on our ticket. We enjoyed the pool and fitness area very much. The location was far enough off the main downtown area to have some separation yet close enough that it was just minutes away. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend

"Great stay in Cody"

happycamper1242018, Saint Louis, Missouri 30/07/2018

This hotel was absolutely fabulous! They take service to the next level. The rooms are modern, clean and extremely comfortable. Great bedding, lighting and shower! I highly recommend staying here when in the great town of Cody.

"Extremely comfortable"

mamabeth60, New Canaan 24/07/2018

Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Really comfortable bed. Large bath. Good breakfast. We only stayed one night, but if we had more time, it would have been a great stop to hang around!

"Best Place to Stay in Cody"

HotSkates, Cheyenne, Wyoming 24/07/2018

The rooms are clean, the staff accommodating, and the restaurant convenient with a great reasonably priced breakfast. There is a working pool and hot tub in a room with a great view. The gym is small but has all the necessities. The hotel is located a walking distance away from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West museum, and from Sheridan street (the main road) which offers a variety of restaurants, stores, and their annual July 3rd-4th parade.

"Great one night stay"

wadeow99, North Ogden, Utah 24/07/2018

We had an excellent stay. Very helpful staff and a very nice hotel. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality, presentation and price of the attached restaurant. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

strombergerdl, Severance, Colorado 17/07/2018

We have stayed here twice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are always kept clean. They are environmentally conscious which is good. Terrific atmosphere and the restaurant is excellent. A great way to beat the crowds downtown and so convenient. We love this place.

"Very nice, but a Premier brand worthy? "

User 13/07/2018

A very nice Oasis from the Hot Wyoming Sun. A very nice hotel situated in a very good location in Cody, WY. Wished the room had a tub, but it didn't, but the AC kept us nice and cool. Nice appointed hotel with comfy rooms. No included breakfast as per premier usual, but had a very nice stay, nonetheless.

"Good but not cheap"

Barry and Nicol... G, Reading, United Kingdom 12/07/2018

We enjoyed our 1 night stay here at the Best Western. Personally i think its bit dear but then you are paying top dollar as its in Cody and very plush. A very friendly welcome awaits. Our suite was lovely and beds comfy. We had breakast in the restaurant and that was very tasty. Its a good choice. Lots of parking around the rear.

"Absolutely wonderful!!"

cornelds, Pinckney, Michigan 10/07/2018

We stayed at this hotel on our last trip to Yellowstone/ Cody 4 years ago & knew we wanted to come back for a longer stay. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of. You need to book ahead because they do fill up during busy travel times. I can't imagine a nicer hotel in Cody. The rooms are very, clean, large and comfortable. We booked a suite and there are 2 full bathrooms with walk-in showers!!! It's not your typical suite with a pull out couch...there's an L shaped leather couch, kitchen table and a kitchenette. I was more than surprised to find 2 closets, one was a walk-in!! Holy cow!! The beds were very plush and comfortable. I can't wait to come back!!

"Good Option"

richardnF7573GT, Penn Valley 10/07/2018

Have stayed here many times. A good option for Napa at a very reasonable price. People are friendly and the place was very clean. Pretty decent location relative to wineries, downtown, and restaurants.

"Exceptional! "

User 10/07/2018

My family and myself stayed on Cody for 2 days while visiting the Yellowstone/Teton area and this was our oasis! Fabulously friendly staff, big comfortable rooms with lovely fixtures and sleek features! The cold lemon/lime water in the lobby was my savior! Pilar was a warm, welcoming face:) The entire staff was beyond welcoming! What a wonderful mountain town with an exceptional hotel! We'll be back to stay at BW Ivy and to jump off the cliffs at Buffalo Bill Reservoir! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area! 5 stars! Blackburn/Burris families! "Great hotel, full amenities, a relief after three days in Yellowstone."

Scott M, New Church, Virginia 09/07/2018

What a nice hotel. Clean and well staffed. The room was very large with a mini bar fridge and a huge shower. No tub. The technology was a wonderful thing after three days in Yellowstone with zero communication capabilities. The lower floors have a separate door from the hallway leading to the indoor pool and the parking lot. The restaurant was very good for dinner, breakfast was just ok. There is a store right across the street and a wal mart about a mile down the road. It was close enough for me to the downtown area and the Cody museum of the west. The only downside was the slamming doors, all up and down the halls.

"Mini vacation"

User 04/07/2018

Spent two nights with grandson. Clean, spacious and comfortable room with 2 queen beds. We had a large balcony that faced the north west street front. Very loud and sunny in the evening Difficult to pull out turning left due to its location on the bend of the road.

"The Best Best Western"

Richard S, Longmont, Colorado 01/07/2018

Wow. What a great place...I've eaten at their restaurant before, great food, but never stayed in a room before. What can I say...spacious, spotless, well appointed, A towel on the bed folded in the shape of an elephant! Really??? Local Chocolates in the room...we ordered desserts from room service. It was fast, delicious, very reasonable, and the girl was very pleasant. We sat on the balcony and watched the sun set over the mountains by Yellowstone.

"Great choice in Cody "

cpmurphyboy, Denver, CO 26/06/2018

We only stayed here one night before heading into Yellowstone but after a long day of driving, we were very happy we chose this room. We had a premier suite that had an extra couch as well as two queen beds. The beds and linens were super comfortable and we had a great night sleep here. Downtown was only a 10 minute walk to dinner. We ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was good. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Cody!

"Best 'Best Western' We've Stayed In"

EmmaB2812, Nottingham, United Kingdom 24/06/2018

This hotel is by far the best Best Western we have stayed in during our trip across the States. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and seemed to be full of ideas about things to do in Cody. The rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was a wet room so also very spacious. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. We had 2 bedrooms under the same booking and, for the first time so far, they had put us together with interconnecting doors. The beds and pillows were extremely comfy. We did not eat breakfast here but dinner was also alright. We had drinks in the bar which were great, and we enjoyed the ambiance, although they do shut at 10pm evey night. Although we came here to visit Yellowstone, which is at least an hours drive away, we would definitnely come here again as both Cody and the hotel are great!

"Lovely hotel close to museums"

Mary S, Mount Vernon, Washington 24/06/2018

Comfortable hotel with fitness and pool, which was enjoyed by our family. Close to Buffalo Bill museum which was excellent! Bedding was comfortable and the room and bath very nice. Close too to grocery store!

"Leisurely Putt"

WHMPILOT, sacramento 21/06/2018

Fabulous Inn, starting with the room clerk suggesting we park our expensive motorcycles under the breezeway, "snubbed up to the island." Great room, good restaurant with attentive staff, early morning hot coffee, nice outside dining area, comfortable day lounges. Great value for the money. We'll definitely stay here again. Good culture.

"Very comfortable and convenient place to stay"

JerryR10, Salt Lake City, Utah 19/06/2018

My wife, our son (almost 16), and I stayed here for three nights last week. We enjoyed our stay and found this Best Western quite comfortable; we had a room with two queen beds. The shower was great. There's no included breakfast, unlike many Best Westerns. Wi-Fi was slow at peak times, but it worked. The staff was very friendly and helpful re local attractions. We'd happily stay here again on a future visit. This hotel is a short drive -- and one can easily walk -- from the fabulous Buffalo Bill Center for the West.

"Excellent hotel and great location"

User 18/06/2018

This hotel was clean, quiet and the food in the restaurant was very good. It is just down the street from The Buffalo Bill Museum which is surprisingly extensive with his history, interesting art, and a large collection of guns. It is large for a small town and they give you a two-day pass. The hotel is on the road to the eastern entrance to Yellowstone.

"A Night In Cody, Wyoming"

pdwlazlak, Marysville, Washington 17/06/2018

Had reservations. First clerk indicated our room not ready but second clerk stepped in and said it was. Hotel very nice but in my opinion very over priced. Room was nice and everything was in working order. No continental breakfast at this hotel even with the overpriced rooms. Did offer 25% off if eating in the hotel restaurant. Opted not to do that. Would not stay in this hotel if in Cody, Wyoming in the future.

"Stay here! "

Momsav, Valhalla 12/06/2018

Stayed for one night while on our way to rapid city! it was a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and in nice condition. The staff was excellent and helpful. It is definitely a premier property. They even offer free laundry service. Would definitely recommend.

"Great place to stay"

User 12/06/2018

Booked two rooms, and both were very nice. My wife and I had a small suite that was great. Our friends had a suite with two bathrooms. Since they were two ladies , they thought this was wonderful. They did not have to share a bathroom. Very clean. We had a large balcony with a view of the mountains. Would definitely stay there again. Only drawback was there was no breakfast included.

"The Best Hotel in Cody"

User 11/06/2018

I have to say I cannot believe this hotel is a Best Western. To all travelers going to Cody Wyoming this is the best hotel in the area. Nice staff and great rooms! They also have the nicest restaurant in Cody and the staff is also very good. Please do not let the Best Western name detour you from staying there.

"Loved this hotel!"

ncat2016, Huntersville, North Carolina 10/06/2018

Of course, being in the middle of Buffalo Bill Cody country, I would expect to see Western decor. This hotel has great customer service, friendly staff, and an excellent restaurant for meal choices. I loved the feel of the west when we walked into the hotel. The location is nearby all the attractions/restaurants/parks. Highly recommend. Rooms are spacious, ours had a balcony with chairs and table. Our refrigerator did not have a freezer, but the staff was helpful in putting our ice packs in their freezer. Additionally, we needed to print some documents and that was available at the front desk. The laundry was very useful and no charge for washing or drying.

"Good location, Great Rooms & Restaurants"

Linda M, Mooresville, North Carolina 10/06/2018

We found the accommodations at the Best Western Ivy among the best. Comfortable beds, nicely appointed bathrooms, kitchenette with coffee station, microwave and small refrigerator. Ate in the restaurant twice and was pleased both times. The front desk stay is very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely return!

"Great hotel!"

steenwykmail, Birmingham, Alabama 03/06/2018

This was our first time to stay at this hotel and we loved it! From the kind and helpful staff at the front desk, to the beautiful decor, to the cleanliness in the room, to the great room service for dinner, we would love to stay here again! In fact, we wished we had planned 2 nights in Cody after our experience here!

V3463HSchristine, Chelmsford, United Kingdom 02/06/2018

We have been travelling the area for over a week - different hotel every night What a treat to stay here - room immaculately clean, room facilities perfect for the traveller, there is a free laundry, pool and hot tub. We found the staff on reception exceptionally helpful, and there is a small area at reception selling basics you might need. We stayed In a suite overlooking the mountains - ok - there is a main road between us and the mountains but we are on a road trip. Restaurant fine - food good, service reasonable- we know that in this area there are a lot of seasonal staff, so allowances must be made. I must mention something I have never seen before in a hotel, a sanitised tv remote. This shows the standard of cleanliness this hotel aspires to. Another attention to detail is the on/off switch on the bedside lamps - stops all that groping around in the middle of the night to find the switch with a 4 inch lever

chparrott, Firestone, Colorado 31/05/2018

For a place just outside Yellowstone National Park we expected much more pleasant and responsive service. If you are staying in the area, try Jackson Hole instead of Cody. This Best Western, in particular, was disappointing. Clerks were not friendly and the restaurant for breakfast was many steps below your typical continental fare. We would have preferred a continental breakfast rather than a disgruntled waitress and very poor food.

Sunset-House-Cody, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for reviewing our hotel and your comments. We will use your feedback to improve our service where needed. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy your stay, our staff, or our restaurant as we normally receive such great compliments. I will be sure to pass them along to our restaurant manager as well. We hope you have a nice rest of your vacation.

"Very nice rooms"

Bucky D, Springfield, Missouri 30/05/2018

The room was very large and well appointed. It looked beautiful. No free breakfast, though, just a discount at their restaurant. Beds were large and comfortable. My wife appreciated the nice assortment of toiletries. Very good location.

"Great Hotel even better Restaurant"

Woodsothemove, Cardiff, United Kingdom 27/05/2018

Arrived at the hotel which looked like it had been recently renovated. The staff were friendly at check in, we were given a room on the third floor with a balcony which overlooked the mountains. We were very lucky with the weather and sitting out was lovely. The rooms were a good size, very clean with a walk in shower and nice amenities , a plus point also is there was a big safe in the wardrobe. The hotel has lovely seating areas on each floor with open fires. Would definitely come back. Excellent restaurant which I have reviewed separately

"Great Breakfast at excellent value"

User 27/05/2018

Stacy was our server the two mornings we ate here. Excellent service, easy access, and great breakfast foods. We had Eggs Benedict and typical 2 eggs over easy with bacon. Tried the great oatmeal one morning. Coffee was good and plentiful. Can take a to go cup if you wish.

"Amazing Service"

Amanda B, Alabama 25/05/2018

We made reservations at this hotel a few weeks, maybe a month in advance, and found out a day ahead that our plans were going to include us being in Cody a day earlier than originally thought, so I called to see if we could come earlier, as some hotels maybe wouldn't have a room, but the lady I spoke with understood and said that we could come and it would be no problem. Not too mention that we had scheduled for a few extra nights, unsure how long we would be in Cody. It was no problem when we had to cut our nights short. The customer service is amazing and the people were so accommodating and friendly! The room was very clean and the walk-in shower was amazing! We found the price well worth the stay. (We had a bad experience with a previous 3-star hotel.) If we are ever in Cody again, this is the hotel to stay in for us!

"Excellent Property!"

Doubledadoriginal, Knoxville, Tennessee 24/05/2018

I regularly stay at The Marriott family of properties and Cody, Wyoming doesn't offer one of their properties. What a spectacular surprise to find this hotel. The staff are helpful, courteous, polite and welcome you with a smile. They offer an outstanding value along with complimentary washer and dryer for those on extended trips. I would stay here before I would ever stay at the Yellowstone Hotel again. The access to the park is only 52 miles and we saw grizzlies, moose, deer, elk and Bighorn Sheep “before” we entered the park. Pleanty of good food options and other things to do in Cody also. You can't go wrong. Stay here!

"Beautiful hotel"

User 24/05/2018

Whole stay was great. Beautiful hotel with fantastic pool. Free laundry at nice machines, Attached restaurant had fair prices with good food. Staff was friendly and had no problems. Would stay again on next trip.

"Resort Quality"

beachtraveler59, Amelia Island, Florida 24/05/2018

Wow! After two weeks on the road, this was without a doubt our favorite stay starting with the service at the front desk from Chris. This is a lovely hotel inside and out. Our room was well-appointed, clean and so very comfortable. The bed was great, we usually use a mattress topper but did not find in necessary for the first time on this trip. The shower is a roomy walk-in with great water pressure. The sitting area in the room offered a comfy spot to stretch out. The pool and hot tub were a welcome site after three hours of driving in the snow in Yellowstone. Thank you Best Western Premier Ivy inn and Suites!

"Home Base for Yellowstone Trip"

TerryUSA2015, Columbia, South Carolina 20/05/2018

We spent a week in Cody visiting the local area, Yellowstone and the Bighorn National Rec. area. We had a very enjoyable week, while staying in a perfect hotel for our purposes. The staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant had really good food and while we had a ways to drive for our attractions, it was a very enjoyable week.

"Outstanding in every way"

FLgolfer_2, Palm City, Florida 20/05/2018

I traveled +100 nights per year in my career so I have high expectations for hotels. From the minute we drove into the hotel I new this would be an excellent place to stay. Jan, the desk clerk was beyond helpful as I had not stayed in a BW for years. The room was large and had every amenity including a bathroom with top-of-the-line fixtures & custom tile walk-in shower. The public areas were very attractive and the business center was outfitted with Apple computers. The hotel restaurant is probably one of the best places to eat in Cody!

User 08/05/2018

The Best Western was great! Room was spotless and very comfortable. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. Pancakes ordered for takeout and were very good. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay

"Nice Stay"

Deb W, Denver, Colorado 30/04/2018

After a brief assessment of our room it was clear to us that it was not prepared for occupancy and the TV was not working. We were offered another room or upgrade and we choose to move next door to the other room. The rooms are clean and very comfortable with quiet heating and cooling units. The stone floor in the shower hurt our feet but it was okay. We were on the first floor and asked someone where the ice machine was and she sent us upstairs, duh.. there was one on our floor a bit hidden but I will say I never heard a sound from the ice machine. You can walk into town from the hotel, it's a short walk to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and we enjoyed an ice cream from the Dairy Queen across the street. We did not try the restaurant, maybe next time!

"Fantastic experience"

Steven W, Tallahassee, United States 30/04/2018

Very nice hotel. Certainly one of the better hotels in Cody. Has everything you need. Rooms are modern, comfortable, and very clean. Nice indoor pool. Gym has enough equipment to provide a through workout. Restaurant on side provides good options at a reasonable rate and great taste.

"My Stay at the Ivy"

The Best Western Premier Ivy Inn is amazing--you will rest comfy --love the proximity to down town and the museum- people are great --rooms are so clean, in house eating and lounge. Lots of area to sit and visit-in house internet use-- love the décor --

Jan S, Riverton, Wyoming 22/03/2018

great stay, clean rooms , great staff, no problems with check in or departure. I would recommend this motel for other business travelers. I will stay here again. I stay in Cody a few times of year and choose the Best Western

1019MBB, Wyoming, United States 20/03/2018

Excellent service, accommodations and amenities. This property is definitely a cut above the norm and while there are high prices in peak seasons, our stay occurred in the off season so it was affordable (and well worth the money). The only caution I would provide is that the lighting in the bathroom is not bright enough. Other than that, it was perfect!

"Nice hotel, clean "

Regi S, Park City, Utah 26/02/2018

We stayed 2 nights. Very clean, spacious rooms. King bed was ok, not foam, but ok. Hotel was quiet, well the whole town was pretty empty. Front desk person suggested we go to Cassie's for dinner. We had read that Irmas was the place to go but we took the gentlemen's suggestion and went to Cassie's....huge mistake. I had to return my elk/buffalo burger twice. It was one if the worst burgers I've ever had. Pre-made, then cooked, then frozen, then re-heated to serve. Went to Irmas the second night and had a very nice dinner and experience. Our Place for breakfast both mornings, a locals place, was good. Bring cash they don't take credit cards.

"Great place to stay in Cody"

Jennifer K, Lee's Summit, Missouri 23/01/2018

This is a very nice Best Western. It is appointed with beautiful bathrooms with a very large rain shower -- much appreciated after a day of hiking. Nice toiletries and cool rags to pack in the cooler every morning as you go out adventuring. I wish it had an outdoor pool but no negatives to speak of. I would definitely stay there again

"Best Western Premier Inn & Suites"

User 22/01/2018

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Premier Inn & Suites in Cody, Wy. We stayed in one of the suites, so we had plenty of room. The bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower. The hotel is clean and well managed. The staff was courteous and friendly. We were not thrilled with the food in the restaurant except for breakfast but the service was superb. It's within walking distance to the main part of town. I would highly recommend staying here while your visiting this beautiful part of the country.

"Very Comfortable bed"

User 22/01/2018

Stayed here Friday before and Sunday after a snowmobile trip into Yellowstone. The folks are friendly, rooms clean and the beds comfortable, oh and they have a restaurant. After a long drive to get here it was a good place to bed down and nice after being on a snowmoble for 2 days in fresh snow.

"Great place to stay"

716edithk, Geneseo, New York 11/01/2018

Comfortable room. Heated indoor swimming pool. On premises restaurant with good choices. No complementary breakfast. Upscale lodging. Would choose this facility again. Convenient to Sierra Trading Past store location

"Best Major Brand in Cody Wyoming"

Stephen F, Grand Junction, United States 19/12/2017

This is one beautiful Best Western in Cody WY. Its on the west side of town just a couple blocks from the Center of the West Museum and the visitor center and there are plenty of dining options within a few miles but the on site eatery is great all by itself. The hotel lobby is beautiful with a 3 story atrium, fireplaces, and sitting areas that provide you with the western lodge feel. Great fitness center and an indoor pool that is long enough to get some laps in.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us. We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed it. We agree that our on site restaurant is delicious. It is nice to know that you felt the same. Many of our guests comment on the great location to the many attractions in town. We hope to see you again in the future.

"excellent hotel"

juliebI3215LI, Perth, Australia 06/12/2017

excellent hotel, complimentary laundry was great.. just a shame they do not include breakfast, and one of the most expensive I stayed in on this trip, next to the museum was excellent.. would def stay here again

Thank you for the nice review of our hotel. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. In lieu of a continental breakfast we have an onsite restaurant and bar that our guests really enjoy. We hope to see you again in the future.

"We are repeat customers"

Janice K, Ten Sleep, Wyoming 20/11/2017

We have stayed at the Best Western Primere Ivy Inn and Suites on several occasions and have always had an excellent experience. The staff is professional, but friendly. The meals we have had at the restaurant were very tasty. The hotel is at a very convenient location for our needs.

Thank you for staying with us and continuing to come back to stay with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoy the hotel as well as the 8th St. Restaurant. We agree that we have a convenient location in town. I will be sure to pass your compliments along to our staff. We look forward to seeing you again.

CaryTravler, Cary 08/11/2017

We spent five terrific nights at this property - likely the best hotel in Cody and the surrounding area. From the time we arrived until we left the staff were friendly, accomodating, and made us feel welcome. We had a junior suite with a nice view out the front - very comfortable room, nice bed/mattress and linens. Plenty of room in the sitting area. Well worth it. If we are ever back in Cody this will be our place. Loved the bathroom - a large walk-in shower. Great big and fluffy towels. Two things I would change - the toilet seats are too low and the shower head is too high. We ate four of the five nights in the restaurant at the hotel - it was that good. And if you are a hotel guest you get 25% off for breakfast. The food was excellent and so was the service - especially Helen and Tammy. Don't miss this gem in Cody.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for the nice review. We are happy to here that we were able to make your stay a positive one from the time you arrived till the time you left. It is also nice to hear that you enjoyed the 8th St. Restaurant. Be sure to stop by their page and leave them a review as well. We know they would like it. Thank you for your comments. We will keep these in mind for the future. Hope to see you again soon.

"Really nice place to stay"

Rick K, Seattle, Washington 06/11/2017

Overall this is a great hotel. It is typically more expensive than some of the local hotels but we wanted a nice clean comfortable room in a good location that had a restaurant & bar and this place had all of that. The pool and other facilities looked great, but we did not have a chance to try them out. Staff is great and having restaurant in the hotel is nice, especially in the colder months.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us. We appreciate your nice review. Hopefully the next time you stay with us you will have time to try our pool and hot tub. We hear great things from our guests about it. Thank you for the review.

"Very Fine Hotel!"

epintard, Diamond Bar, California 27/10/2017

This hotel is really a cut above with a very nice décor. It is well worth the price. Breakfast is not included in the price but you get a 25% discount in the on-site restaurant. I recommend the grilled trout and eggs; just excellent! This is definitely the place I will stay when I am next in Cody.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your positive review. We greatly appreciate the positive feedback! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you soon!

"Comfort in Cody"

Brigitte H, Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada 27/10/2017

This is a very nice property with better than average decor and furnishings. Our room was very nicely decorated and very quiet, larger than normal TV. We arrived in the dark so didn't notice the view but it was of the back parking lot. If a view matters to you, mention it at check-in. This hotel does not include breakfast, which I think it should at the price. There is a restaurant, which was closed when we arrived at 9:00 pm, and you do receive a 25% off coupon for breakfast, which we did not use. Our TV remote had dead batteries when we arrived, but these were replaced by the front desk. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet restful sleep and jumping off point for Yellowstone or points north.

"2017 Anniversary Getaway"

Karen C, Sanford, Michigan, Usa 25/10/2017

We stayed at this property after leaving Jackson Hole and traveling through Yellowstone. It is a beautiful property and it exceeded our expectations! They allowed an early check-in even though we didn't have a reservation. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The restaurant and bar had limited hours during the week but when they were open the food and drinks were excellent. Our room was very nicely decorated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It is conveniently located near all of the Cody attractions. We will most certainly visit this property again.

"Favorite place "

danamorganbarnes, Cheyenne, Wyoming 23/10/2017

This is my favorite place to stay in Cody. Beautiful and comfortable. Would be a great place for a reunion, has gathering places on every floor. I always feel like I'm at a lodge when I stay here. Has everything you need.

"Great Every Time"

Shanna S, United States 21/10/2017

I love staying at this hotel every time I visit Cody. It's clean, easily accessible, good parking, and decent price. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and professional. It's my first choice hotel!

"Great place to stay"

paulsE6114KU, Prescott, Arizona 20/10/2017

We were scheduled to stay at the Best Western down the road but they closed early for the winter season. They transferred our reservation to the Premier Ivy Inn & Suites. The Ivy Inn & Suites was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We would definitely stay her on any future trips to Cody.

"Loss of loved one"

Judy H, Westland, Michigan 19/10/2017

We called a few days in advance to book a room for a couple days. On the day we were to leave, I became sick. They were going to move us to another room but thankfully we didn't have to move. Stayed 2 more days until the medicine started to work. The front desk people were amazing and did everything they could to accommodate us. I have lupus and never know when a flare up is going to happen. Ended up going to ER twice. Thankfully there is a restaurant there and a small store near the counter. The grounds and rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. Nearby places to visit and places to eat. Easy access to Yellowstone Park although it is 80 miles to the entrance, the drive is beautiful as is downtown Cody. Highly recommend this Hotel.

"Good choice for Yellowstone & museum stay"

JBBokky, Florida 17/10/2017

Our second time staying here. Outskirts of town, good beds, restaurant for breakfast inside the hotel (you get a 25% discount and the food is very good and fairly priced), about an hours' drive to Yellowstone east entrance. A bit pricey but clean and updated, as opposed to other hotels in town. Front desk was efficient but not particularly pleasant or friendly (weren't the first time either).

"Nice above average property but unfortunately we got a very noisy room so will not be back"

BassetMa, Greenville, TX 16/10/2017

Hotel is very nice since it is a BW Premier. Normally we stay at a cheaper hotel but it was our anniversary so treating ourselves or so we thought. Check in staff friendly. Room very nice. At bedtime once TV off we became aware of the very noisy AC unit. Sounded like a 18 wheeler running outside our window. Husband changed to fan and a shrill sound began. On 2nd floor so opened window. Bank of 8-10 AC units below running so worse. So we ended up with AC on and slept very little that night so certainly not worth money. Told check out staff who did not seem to really care but did say he would have someone check it out. Last time we stayed it was great this time very disappointed. Breakfast is not included but you do get a discount at restaurant which is overpriced and was also disappointing. So will not stay here again.

"Great value"

Danny M, Cartersville 15/10/2017

Nice clean property. Staff pleasant and efficient. Rooms were very clean. Beds comfortable. Over all we were completely satisfied. It's the first time we have ever stayed in a best western premier and we were impressed will be looking at the premier in the future.

"The Ivy in Cody, Wyoming."

215Brian, Metro Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota 15/10/2017

Stayed this year on October 14, 2017. Beautiful property in Cody, Wy. Staff very friendly. Fall rate was best value for any hotel I have ever visited. Truly a lux property. Is is very handy for visits to the Buffalo Bill Center and it's great museums. Also handy for the Rodeo grounds.

"Perfect Choice"

jantalking, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 12/10/2017

When looking for a hotel for one night in Cody, I was hesitate to book this one because of the Best Western name, but with all the good reviews, I chanced it. I'm so glad I did. This is not your typical Best Western. This is a welcoming place - inside and out. The staff is welcoming. The rooms are a great size and very well appointed. We had a walk in shower that was really nice, the bed was comfortable and it was nice having a little balcony. Each floor has a common gathering area with a fireplace and seating. A nice touch for extended families and groups. An overall pleasant surprise.

"Best Western Premier Ivy Inn, Cody, Wyoming"

User 12/10/2017

The Best Western Premier Ivy Inn is the best place to stay in Cody, Wyoming. It is within walking distance to the star attraction, the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum which is a "can't miss" attraction. And the main street begins only two blocks further from the museum. Going the other direction (driving West), leads to the most scenic area imaginable as you go towards Yellowstone Park

"Best Stay"

cindy g, Jennings, Louisiana 10/10/2017

Was on vacation in Yellowstone and stayed in Cody for 4 nights. This hotel is the best!! Comfortable, extremely clean, employees were excellent. It was so nice to know that after long hours of driving all day every day, we were going back to this hotel. Would not think twice about staying here again. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Cody is a great town.

"My stay in Cody"

User 09/10/2017

The hotel was great, the personnel working there were very helpful and very professional. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Cody. Only minor problem I had was when I ordered a sweet roll for breakfast, they warned it up, it became very hard after a few minutes. Suggest asking for it not to be heated up!

"Upscale Best Western Property"

Lovtogo, St. Louis, MO 09/10/2017

The appointments in our room were definitely above average. Marble bathroom, sitting area, luxurious bed, spacious. Small patio available. Restaurant and bar very popular with good hours. Helpful staff. Location near Buffalo Bill Cody Museum. Parking convenient.

"Nice Room, OK Food, Great Staff"

richardsK692FT, University Place, United States 05/10/2017

Spent just one night there on the way to Yellowstone. A bit pricier than the other options in town, but as a name brand and we thought we'd give it a try. At check in, we were told the TV feed on floors 2 and 3 was out, hoping to get it fixed but no promises. They offered us a first floor alternative, or $20 off the king suite we had reserved. All in all they were vey gracious. The suite was everything we expected, plus size bathroom and walk in shower. Breakfast tickets allowed 25% on breakfast in the restaurant. It was a bit of a disappointment, one waitress for several tables, food was ordered to taste, and prices were reasonable with the discount. We'd stay again.

"Beautiful hotel"

poplarkins, London, United Kingdom 02/10/2017

We arrived quite late to hotel on our way back from Yellowstone. Unfortunately the restaurant next to hotel was closed and we ended with take away. The hotel itself was very nice, well furnished and the staff was very pleasant. The room was large with a sitting area and nice bathroom with a shower with a pebble floor and small pull down seat. The bed was comfortable. Wish we had more time to enjoy the place. Also I would prefer if the breakfast was included in the package - at the end we decided to have it in the nice coffee bar in the center.

"Really Impressed!"

Birkie2, Houghton, Michigan 01/10/2017

This property lived up to the TA reviews, and then some. Everything here is well done, decor, rooms, amenities, pool /workout room. This is first class all the way. Great way to end our Tetons Yellowstone vacation. If you stay here, you won't regret it it!

"New and modern"

Mary B, Sulphur, Louisiana 30/09/2017

The hotel was very new and modern. Everything top notch from the service to the actual comfortable room. Clean, smelled good, nice size, large shower, all the comforts of home. Perfect even had a cafe attached although we did not use it due to time. It was like a miniature Hilton as far as amenities. So very nice. The only thing I would say it was a little pricey. If you are on a limited budget the other Best Western in town is efficient, clean ...nothing fancy though. This one was top of line for Cody

Annette V, Grenville, South Dakota 30/09/2017

Beautiful hotel. Have stayed here before and will stay again. Nice to have the bar/lounge and restaurant on site. Enjoyed the pool as we had extra time. Someone took their time and decorated the hotel very nice.

"An excellent Best Western"

WestTexastraveller17, Lubbock, Texas 26/09/2017

This is a fine Best Western. Our room was quite nice. It was clean, large, well laid out, and everything worked. The bed was comfortable. The staff people were competent. This is one of the best Best Westerns we have ever stayed at. There are two Best Westerns in Cody, located close to each other, and Google sent us to the other one after we requested directions to this one. So one needs to pay attention to the signs to make sure he is at the right place.

"Perfect Location and Great Hotel"

Leslie R, Santa Barbara, California 26/09/2017

I have stayed twice at this hotel. The hotel is lovely, the rooms well decorated, the beds very comfortable and the service excellent. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the adjoining restaurant, which was very convenient. I highly recommend the Best Western Ivy Inn. (The only caveat: Google Maps takes you to the wrong place, so call for directions!)

"Wonderful stay in Cody"

KJTravelers97, Buford, Georgia 24/09/2017

There are two Best Western in Cody and this property was a little further down the street. The check in was smooth and they were very pleasant and professional. The room was spacious and clean and even had a balcony. We would stay here if we had the opportunity to visit Cody again. The hotel was convenient to all of the places to visit in downtown Cody. When we left for Yellowstone it was a left hand turn and onto Yellowstone. Very convenient.

"Fabulous hotel"

gelpaul6951, London, United Kingdom 23/09/2017

What a find this was a great hotel in the tradition of BW and some. We would definitely stay here again even though it was a bit over our budget, but you only live once! It wasn't far from the Buffalo Bill Museum which is a definite see when in Cody. Unfortunately we didn't have time to see a lot of Cody but hope to visit again.

"Great place to stay while in Cody, Wy"

User 22/09/2017

nice hotel, super nice staff. Chris Parson who works front desk is first rate and very helpful. Nice rooms, great restaurant and bar. Great business center. They only have Apple computers which is challenging for PC only people who don;t use Apple but not a problem. In the fitness center, if you like a good work out, the treadmills and the elliptical are not very good quality - basically ProForm type quality which kind of suck - would like to see those swapped out for gym quality - Precor/Life Fitness which are found in most Hilton or Marriott business class hotels. Pretty small investment for a hotel that is generally $300 per night range.

"Nice little place"

Trent05, Spearfish, South Dakota 21/09/2017

This was my first stay in a "premiere". The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful with questions about the town. Going in to my room I was surprised by how it had such a "modern" look and feel to it. Although not as roomy as some of other rooms I've stayed in, it was enough for me. It was a room with two beds. Laying on both they were comfy as they looked. The sink/fridge/microwave area was compact but efficient for a persons needs. They did not have a tub in this room, but an incredibly large shower door because it was walk in, almost like a locker room. It even included a fold down seating area for those that need it while bathing. I went to the bar area in the evening and they had a variety of mixed drinks. Not entirely sure if they were "signature" drinks but looked good. I wished they had more as far as beer went, it seemed somewhat limited. I went with the Moscow mule and it was very good (usually and beer drinker). The next morning I was disappointed in the service in the restaurant area for breakfast. There is no free breakfast, but guests receive a 25% discount if you prove you stayed there (I showed my key card). I joined a colleague after he was almost done with his breakfast. I was quickly given silverware, a water, and a menu. But I waited quite awhile before giving my order to the waiter (the restaurant was less than 20% full...a guesstimate). It also seemed to take awhile to receive my food. It was a decent size omelette (titled "Wyoming omelette") for the price I paid. Nothing special but filled me up enough.

"Western adventure"

K4592QKjayj, Claremore, Oklahoma 21/09/2017

My wife and I came to Cody to use it as a base for visiting Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons. We selected the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites based on reviews from TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed. We have stayed in 5 star hotels around the Country and the Ivy Inn was as good as any. From the spacious, well appointed rooms, the comfortable common areas w/fireplaces, to the excellent décor, we were absolutely satisfied during our 3 night stay.

"Very Nice"

User 20/09/2017

We were not happy with our first choice for lodging in Cody, so we changed to the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn. It's a little pricey, but our stay was very nice. Beds were very comfortable. No free breakfast, but found that to be true on most of our stays in Montana and Wyoming.

"Wonderful stay!"

BECKY P, Dayton, Ohio 20/09/2017

Hotel was beautiful, king suite was spacious with a mountain overlook from a very large balcony. Quiet, meticulously maintained. Important to us is adequate lighting for reading in a room, and they had plenty of that. Pricy, but after days at Yellowstone or enjoying Cody, it was worth the splurge for us.

jamesaQ1701MM, Central, United States 20/09/2017

wonderful, but way too costly. location is sort of out of "strip" area, but great BW hotel though close to museum. Recomended! I think it was too expensive for a vacation. Lots of hotels in Cody. If it were more resonable, I'd stay again.

"Fantastic place to stay"

allysparky, Buffalo, New York 13/09/2017

This is a really nice hotel. Great rooms and nice staff. Has an excellent bar and restaurant. The food choices were really good. Room was comfortable and spacious. They had a great pool and hot tub for unwinding. Family friendly too

"Cross country vacation trip."

User 13/09/2017

The availability of free washers and dryers for guest use was a nice amenity. We had been on the road for two weeks and needed to wash clothing. Not having to deal with a pocket full of quarters was a pleasant surprise.

"Excellent Hotel"

mbej4, PA 10/09/2017

Stayed here for 2 nights, chose from Trip Advisor reviews. So happy with our stay. Very clean hotel, wonderful beds. Loved that they had a lighted makeup mirror in the bathroom. Lovely sitting rooms on each floor. Only thing I didn't like was the walk in shower. It is a beautiful shower, but without a door or curtain it can get a little chilly. They do have a restaurant on site, but we didn't have a chance to eat there, but they seemed busy. Also ask for a room on the back side of the hotel as it is close to the road and can be noisy. Recommend this hotel.

The rooms exceeded our expectations for comfort and style. The wi-fi was excellent, showers were well designed and had rain-type fixtures, the beds were comfortable. This hotel was such a nice spot that we changed our plans and took our time the next morning so we could enjoy a bit more of it. Thanks too for excellent front desk service.

"Wonderful Hotel!"

User 06/09/2017

We stayed at the Best Western Premier on our way home from Yellowstone. We wanted to experience Cody and needed a place to stay. We chose this hotel because of what it looked like online. It is a beautiful, well-furnished hotel that has great amenities. The room was large with a sitting area and gorgeous bathroom with a shower that has a pebble floor and small pull down seat if needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I can't say enough about this place. Wish all hotels had what this one had to offer.

"The most comfortable bed and pillows!"

colorado367, Englewood, Colorado 05/09/2017

We stopped into Cody on our way to Yellowstone and Teton national parks. The Best Western Premier was first class. As I stated in the heading, the bed and pillows may be the most comfortable I have experienced. I would have given the hotel 5 stars, but the food in the restaurant was only a little better than average.

"Nice hotel!"

Michael V, Saint Louis, Missouri 04/09/2017

Nice hotel! We just returned from an awesome family vacation in and around Wyoming. We stayed here on the way to Yellowstone. Just one night, but it was nice enough that we'll return when we next visit Cody. The first impression was strong... something so simple as a scented wet towel at the front desk made all four of us refreshed and happy to be there. The room was a bit larger than most and we were all comfortable. The WiFi's quick, making both kids happy. The view from our room, across the front of the parking lot toward the west, was very nice. We recommend staying here if you are visiting Cody. We booked our visit through TripAdvisors... nice!

"Outstanding! If in Cody - go!"

User 04/09/2017

I've not stayed at a lot of Best Western's, experiences not the best, but this is better than any I have been to. Only four floors but very nice, clean, a reception area on every floor. Good services and of course every thing is close in Cody. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

"Deserves #1 ranking"

Kevin K, Poconos PA 04/09/2017

Put aside any past experiences you may have had with Best Western and strongly consider paying the high rate for these accommodations. It's worth it. Balconies, excellent parking, lounge area on every floor, beautiful fitness center and pool. Neat bathrooms with all the high end lotions and soaps. And the connected restaurant is good and provides room service.

"Best place in Cody!"

TheGoBird, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 30/08/2017

Best place to stay in Cody! Brand new hotel. Quiet. We had one of the larger rooms with a large balcony. Has all the modern touches. Easy to connect your iPad to the TV as they have HDMI ports, etc. in the wall. You don't even have to touch the TV to connect. Excellent front desk service.

"Eclipse week trip "

User 27/08/2017

What a great place! We stayed here by accident b/c another hotel screwed up our reservation. The room was great. Comfy beds and bedding. Quiet. Nice kitchenette. Good lighting throughout. Good electronic device options. Beautiful bathroom, really interesting design except that the sink is set too far back on the counter. Good coffee. Great staff.

"Fabulous hotel is a surprise in the small town of Cody!"

Flowerchildsarah, Shreveport, Louisiana 27/08/2017

My family of 4 recently stayed here for 1 night during a vacation visit to Cody, Wyoming---and I wish we could've stayed longer! Talk about amazing amenities! The rooms were extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished! This is anything BUT your average hotel room. The bathroom had good lighting and included a state of the art "doorless" shower. The restaurant food was exceptional, and the staff was beyond courteous!

"Yellowstone Area Bargain"

DonKingRB, San Diego 27/08/2017

I've been a Best Western customer for years and this is the best one I've ever stayed in. It was much nicer than Gray Wolf Inn & Suites in West Yellowstone and Gray Wolf was more than twice the price.

Barbara R, Georgetown, United States 27/08/2017

Bathrooms were spectacular - walk-in shower was most outstanding! Hotel appeared very new with contemporary furnishings. Restaurant conveniently located adjacent to hotel - food was good and reasonably priced.

"MOM!! You should always let DAD make our reservations!!"

Karen F, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 23/08/2017

Those were the 1st words out of my 12 year olds mouth :) YES this hotel is BEAUTIFUL! Great location too for visiting Yellowstone and much more reasonable than anything comparable in Jackson Hole. We just loved our stay here and the great town of Cody. Please be sure to see the rodeo! Great family fun!!

"Clean and convenient!"

Julie S, Mundelein, Illinois 20/08/2017

We are picky about our hotels and this exceeded our expectations! Coming from hotels in Chicago, we were concerned about the hotels out west. This was by far the best hotel of our vacation - beautiful, clean and minutes to downtown Cody!

"Great hotel to stay in Cody!"

deb s, Parker, Colorado 20/08/2017

Excellent service, spacious room with plenty of room for luggage, very comfortable beds, nice easy to use coffee maker, safe and large bathroom. Seriously one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in!!

"Beautiful, clean hotel"

Michelle S, Geneva, Florida, United States 17/08/2017

This hotel is amazing!! They have every little thing you could possibly want. It is clean, spacious and in a great location. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and each have a walk in roomy shower with a teak bench, a kureig coffee maker and microwave/refrigerator. The decorations are beautiful. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel. It is a bit pricey however I have stayed in more expensive hotels and not had half of what they offer here. They also offer complimentary washers and dryers (2) and sell the soap in the lobby. It was extremely reasonable.

"What a great hotel!"

NadineOD, Chicago, Illinois 16/08/2017

Of the 8 hotels that we stayed at during a recent road trip out West, this was by far the best one for quality and value. We loved both the dinner and the breakfast we had in the hotel restaurant and thought that the hotel public areas and our room were very modern, clean, and nicely appointed. The staff were friendly and efficient. We have (only half jokingly) discussed the idea of returning to Cody just so we can stay at the Best Western there again. :-)

"Great Hotel in Cody"

Darlene J, Falls Church, Virginia 15/08/2017

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Great hotel. Our family was visiting Yellowstone and decided to stay in Cody since we couldn't get a room in Yellowstone. Cody and this hotel did not disappoint even though it was a long haul to drive to Yellowstone - spent two days in Yellowstone and the rest of the time in Cody exploring. From the time we arrived to the time we left we had high praise for the Lobby Staff and House Cleaning Crew. Our room was immaculate - had two queen beds that were very comfortable - rooms were quiet - never heard our next door neighbors - loved the walk in shower - wished we had a balcony (our son's family did - he had a suite and I think they were attached to the suites), free parking, close to some restaurants but some were across the street which was not easy to cross since it was a major highway. Our grandsons loved the indoor pool. Free coffee in the morning and a small store off the lobby for drinks and snacks. Three story hotel - each level had a sitting room with TV and WiFi accessibility. The restaurant was another story. We decided to have breakfast in the hotel the morning we were driving to Yellowstone - it took a long time to get waited on and once we got waited on it took at least 20 minutes to get our coffee and other drinks and order - after waiting for 30 minutes for our breakfast food we decided we had enough and left without breakfast. We told the lobby staff and they told us that they the restaurant just hired some new servers and they were breaking them in, not an excuse. We did have dinner one night there and the food was good, service was still poor. Would book this hotel again. On the expensive side but well worth it.

"Wonderfully surprised"

aimees898, Idaho Falls, Idaho 15/08/2017

Very good stay. Would recommend this motel for anyone. The beds were extremely comfortable and I slept very well. I received more value for what I paid and was wonderfully surprised when I arrived. Thanks

"Yellowstone stay was a relaxing one"

Vanessa H, Licking, United States 15/08/2017

Motel was very clean and well kept. Staff was super friendly. Was not so impressed with the in house restaurant it was very high for the quality and quantity of food but there are plenty of places to eat nearby, venture out.

"New favorite BW property"

JLD1368, Burke, Virginia 10/08/2017

We only stayed for one night at this lovely BW Premier property. We definitely wished we had booked two nights. The hotel staff are all extremely friendly and the public areas of the hotel are clean, well decorated and functional. Each floor has a living room styled area with a sofa, a couple chairs and a tv. We booked a two queen room and were very pleased with our accommodations for our group of four. We had a lovely wet bar area, a great bathroom with a large, gorgeous roll in shower, the two queen beds, a dresser/desk combo with the tv above it, a luggage rack, chair with footstool, a small end table type round table and a balcony. The decor of the room is just lovely. We went down to dinner at the attached restaurant, 8th Street, and had a wonderful meal. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and we slept well. We arrived later than we had hoped after a full day at Yellowstone, so we did not get to use the other hotel facilities. A two night stay would have allowed us to enjoy the hotel more as well as give us more time in Cody. I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely return here in the future.

"Superb, reasonable lodging in smaller town"

O7903QKjosephf, Cody, United States 09/08/2017

Our stay at the Cody WY Premier Best Western was a highlight of our trip to Yellowstone Park. We could not believe that such quality existed in the relatively small town of Cody, WY. Henceforth, we will seek out Premier Best Westerns wherever we travel. Literally nothing could be improved upon except use of duvets on the beds which I find very uncomfortable.

"Exceptional Hotel; Don't Miss This One"

User 08/08/2017

This is a premier hotel. Absolutely the most beautiful Best Western ever. We had a king suite, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Cody is a really neat town and only wish we had spent more time there. A lot of history!

"We will be back!"

R5132IXmiked, Mason, Michigan 07/08/2017

We had a wonderful time. Great staff. Beautiful rooms. Very comfortable beds and very spacious suites. We will definitely be recommending Best Western Premier in Cody, WY to all of our friends and family.

"Simply One Of The Best"

Mitchell G, Chisholm, Minnesota 06/08/2017

We stayed at the Best Western Premier in Cody after a visit to Yellowstone National Park. It had a mountain view & balcony, and the pictures looked great. It not only met, but exceeded my expectations. I'll elaborate below: Location: This hotel is on the main drag in Cody. It is not within walking distance to any other restaurants or tourist attractions other than Pizza Hut or Dairy Queen. This hotel is about an hour from the east entrance of Yellowstone. Service: No problems with service. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities: This hotel offers an indoor pool, fitness center, business center, FREE laundry, and an onsite restaurant. We had dinner here and it was exceptional. While they don't have a free breakfast, all guests receive a 25% discount at the onsite restaurant. Also, off of the elevator on each floor is a small sitting area with TV. This is a neat touch. I was impressed with facilities. Room: My prior experiences with Best Western hotels have all been terrible in the past. This one is definitely the exception to the rule. Not only was it the nicest Best Western I've stayed at, it was also one of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. The room had two queen beds, a private balcony, microwave and fridge, and a very upscale and well appointed bathroom. High points were: the beds were very comfortable. Slept like a baby. The shower was heavenly and fantastic. Also, the room is very eco friendly. There are recycling bins in the room, and the air conditioner turned off if the balcony door was open for a certain period of time. The only thing I didn't care for was that the so-called mountain view was more of a highway view with the mountains in the background. Couldn't see the mountains well, and definitely not the view I hoped for. (Better description would be partial mountain view). I still really enjoyed the view I had, and it definitely did not detract one bit from the overall experience. Overall, I definitely recommend the Best Western Premier if you need lodging in Cody. Don't be afraid of the price-- this is one of, if not the most expensive hotel in Cody, but it is definitely worth every penny. If you can afford it, do it, as it is worth splurging for. :)

"Exceptional hotel"

User 03/08/2017

This hotel was amazing. The rooms were very clean and smelled good. Room was a very nice size. Bathroom was awesome!! Pool was large. Friendly staff. Would stay here again!! We had a ground floor room on the backside of hotel. There was a sliding glass door in the room that led directly to the parking lot. It was very handy to unload our bags directly into the room. A family of 5 requires a lot of luggage!

"Great stay"

Bro02, Pincher Creek 02/08/2017

Nice room and very clean. Beds comfy. Bit of noise from the main road but if you like it quiet request an even numbered room at the back of the hotel. Staff seemed very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Pool seemed clean and ok decent size.

"Modern Cowboy Feel in a newer hotel"

TheMaven2u, Pensacola, Florida 02/08/2017

Cute western decor mixed with modern toucheslike electronic do not disturb buttons and very quiet central air conditioning. The ceilings are high so the room seems bigger than it is. They have a restaurant on premises where guests can get breakfast at 25 percent off, not free. Location is very close to the different attractions and museum. Service was excellent and rooms were super clean.

"Great stay"

User 01/08/2017

Can not say enough good things about this hotel. From check in to check out all the staff was friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is super clean!! Loved the electronic do not disturb and housekeeping buttons. Really glad for the recycle trash can as well in our room. Want to go back to Cody just to stay here again.

"Wish I had stayed in Cody longer"

R179, North Chicago, Illinois 31/07/2017

Everything about the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn and Suites in Cody, WY is excellent! The hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Requests made to the front desk are fulfilled within minutes of calling. The hotel is conveniently located near many of the attractions in Cody. Although we only stayed in Cody one night, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel so much I wished we had planned to stay longer!

"Expensive but very nice"

Sarah W, Minneapolis, Minnesota 27/07/2017

The hotel was very good as to the property and staff. Expensive for the type of hotel but it seems that all hotels in the area charge a lot in the height of tourist season. Staff in restaurant working like dogs as very short staffed as was quoted to us "people here on welfare and don't want to work."

"Perfect stop"

worldhawk, Iowa City, IA 26/07/2017

Hard to believe this facility is 5 years old. Rooms are clean and updated. Nicely laid out and quite quiet. Never have seen an electronic "do not disturb sign." Everything about this facility was top notch, especially for this size of community. We raved about it.

"Excellent Hotel"

User 26/07/2017

Fantastic stay in Cody, Wy at the Ivy Inn and Suites. Our first stay at a Best Western Premier Hotel and will stay again! Luxury bed and bedding, wonderful shower! We ate breakfast at the hotel and it was also very good.

"Family vacation"

Gary P, Boulder, Colorado 26/07/2017

Very nice new and modern hotel with a pool to enjoy for the whole family after spending a week camping in Yellowstone National Park! A little over priced but very comfortable and relaxing. We would recommend this hotel for your next vacation.

"First time at a Best Western in years, would do it again"

STEPHANIE J, CLIO 24/07/2017

This was the first time we have stayed at a Best Western in years. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Rooms were modern and clean. Staff was great, especially in the restaurant. Within walking distance to museum and downtown. This hotel has an indoor pool and offers a discount on breakfast. We had family staying at the Best Western Sunset which is right down the road from Premier Ivy. They had indoor & outdoor pool and breakfast was included. Both hotels are nice but the Premier is a bit nicer and a bit more expensive.

"Best of the Best Western hotels, highly recommended"

RoadJunkie, Jacksonville 20/07/2017

I have nothing but positive comments for this hotel, the best place we stayed during a 2 week trip through the west. The accommodations were great, we had a 1 BR King suite, which included a spacious living area and a balcony to enjoy. Loved the walk-in shower. The service, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, was tremendous, including leaving us a very nice handwritten note thanking us for staying. It has a great location - a direct drive in to the eastern entrance to Yellowstone, and having been through all 4 entrance points to the park, the drive through the Wapiti Valley in through the eastern entrance is easily the most scenic, especially in the morning light. It is also right down the street from the Buffalo Bill Center, a very well-done museum, and minutes from the core of town with the different places to eat. Definitely would stay here again if we are fortunate to return to Yellowstone.

V1894TKamberc, Casper, Wyoming 18/07/2017

Felt like we were treated like royalty. The cute swan and dragonfly towel sculptures with mints that were put on our bed was a great touch. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us after a horrible visit at another hotel in the area. Would definitely go back.

"Excellent stay for Eastern access to Yellowstone"

Patrick C, Richmond, California 16/07/2017

New hotel with excellent decor fitting western, Yellowstone area. Nice large rooms with new features and layout. Great large sitting areas on each floor for large groups or family. Hotel great location on State highway 14 (eastern access gate) to Yellowstone. Close enough to dining and other other "tourist" activities in Cody like the Buffalo Bill-Wild West center and Main Street shopping, fine dining, etc. only issue and it's a minor, nitpick-the hotel needs larger fitness room.

"Great place to stay in Cody!"

Joelle S, San Diego, California 16/07/2017

We were in town for just one night and this hotel was great! It is relatively new and close to the cute town and the rodeo. The front desk was very accommodating since we arrived early. The cold, wet wash cloths were very refreshing!

"Very clean , well located"

Doctorone, Daytona Beach 16/07/2017

Very convenient for visit to Cody museums and rodeo following trip to Yellowstone. Friendly , helpful staff and very clean room and facilities. Recommend "The Local" restaurant , hotel restaurant also good.

"Lovely Hotel"

MTF719, West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States 12/07/2017

The hotel was very close to the rodeo. We would've preferred a hotel closer to town where we could walk. The hotel has a great atmosphere, looks great, was clean and comfortable. We were only there for two nights so we did not avail ourselves of all of the amenities. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful regarding local activities. If you're looking to go to Yellowstone this is a great location as it is on the road to the east entrance.

"Great place to stay!"

Tonia P, Lexington, North Carolina 10/07/2017

Room was clean. Bed was the most comfortable we slept on in the two weeks we were gone. The cleaning staff went above and beyond and left us notes that said Happy 4th of July, enjoy your stay. I would recommend this place to anyone!

"excellent stay in Cody"

User 08/07/2017

This BW is a great place to stay in Cody. Conveniently located, very updated and comfortable. Stayed here in June of 2017 between visits to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Kids loved the amenities, especially the pool and the wifi! LOL The staff were very nice and the hotel itself is very nicely decorated. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

"Great place to stay in Cody"

Nathan M, Garrison, North Dakota 08/07/2017

We stayed here on the 4th of July. Had no reservations but check in was a breeze room was clean and comfortable and we were able to set on our belconey and watch the city fireworks display. All in all a great nights stay.

"Great place to stay"

K8955IHrebeccab, Waynesville, United States 08/07/2017

This hotel is very clean inside and out. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Beautiful inside and out. We had breakfast in the restaurant and it was very good and well priced. Our family would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the location.

"Very clean and nice! Very nice staff!"

User 06/07/2017

We stayed in the suite with a separate bedroom and bath. I think it's the biggest and only room of this kind there It was an end unit with balcony very quiet. Very comfy and roomy! Beautiful decor and lots of town information booklets. Will definitely be back!

"Worth every penny and what a comfy, quiet hotel! BW has upped their game!"

thecowboylawyer, Hunstsville, AL 06/07/2017

I am not a Best Western person. I stay in Marriott and Hilton properties because I want exquisite rooms, spotlessly clean, comfy, and sumptuous! So, it was with a little hesitation that I booked our stay at this hotel for our Cody trip. When we arrived, I realized I had made a good choice. The hotel is top notch. It's Wyoming decor on steroids, with big logs and that hunting lodge kid of feel. Check-in was seamless! I walked in and said my last name and the clerk handed me the packet with a welcoming smile. The hotel is roomy and quiet (except for the occasional kid running the halls on the way to the pool...) The rooms are lushly furnished, big and cozy, with great attention to detail (exquisite decor, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, fridge -- AND A SAFE! -- walk in shower, roomy bathroom, the most comfy hotel beds we ever slept on. The staff is cheery and friendly, eager to help. The restaurant staff as well. We ate breakfausst every morning (25% discount for staying there) and the trout and eggs is incredible. The bar is great (not open long enough for me. Closing at 10 p.m. is like three hours too early!) I'd like to see that bar open longer. The pool and hot tub were luxurious! The hot tub is huge and HOT! (In other words, perfect!) Wi-fi is free and worked perfectly. Book a room on the street side, though the backside (facing a parking lot and hill) is incredibly quiet. The hotel is just down from the Buffalo Bill Center and you can walk to the shops and restaurants on the main drag. I can't say one bad thing about this hotel. Best Western has upped their game with the "Premier" line of hotels, and because of this hotel I've joined their rewards program and I'm going to be looking for more Best Western Premier hotels when we travel.

"Excellent "

Dukeowy, Casper, Wyoming 05/07/2017

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The rooms are energy efficient, so you have to be in the room for the AC to kick on....and it will not run if the window is open. Motion sensing hallway lighting...just awesome. The housekeeping staff are excellent, and Will at the front desk is a true professional. He truly went above and beyond to see that my daughter and i had a great experience. When in Cody, i will stay no where else.

"Excellent hotel and staff."

Gopal B, Midlothian, Virginia 04/07/2017

The location was excellent and the hotel was top class. It exceeded my expectations. This was my first time at a BW premier and I was blown away by the hotel. The room amenities and business center went a long way to make our trip enjoyable.

"Best Best Western Ever"

T8620UXroberts, Fayetteville, United States 04/07/2017

Excellent hotel. The best Best Western I've ever stayed at, and one of the nicest hotel experiences I've ever had at any hotel. The lobby was very inviting and our suite was beautiful. I highly recommend it.

"Comfy bed!"

User 29/06/2017

This is a clean friendly hotel! Great location. Pool, gym, hot tub and a nice lobby! Highly recommend! Restaurant in the hotel was really good. If you stay here you get a 25% off breakfast coupon. It made breakfast for a family of 5 very reasonable and it was good with healthy options!

"Wonderful place to stay"

S M, Phoenix, Arizona 29/06/2017

We were so surprised when we walked into our room at the Best Western Ivy Inn and Suites. It was spacious, well appointed and the bathroom was great! Appreciated that they had both trash and recyling receptacles in the rooms. Would highly recommend staying there if you are looking for a place to stay in Cody.

"Comfy Beds"

Mina S, Palm Springs, California 29/06/2017

The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfortable. We are a family of 5 and had a room with two queen beds and a pullout couch. The pullout couch wasn't very comfortable according to my son but the queen beds were amazing. The room has a sink, mini fridge and microwave with a Keurig. The shower was a walk-in without a shower door. The restaurant inside hotel was great! My son and husband enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Perfect temps!

"Best accommodation on our 16 day trip to the USA"

emjaffa, Northampton, United Kingdom 28/06/2017

Loved this place, check in was fast and efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were fabulous, clean, tidy, awesome beds, walk in shower was great. Dining was probably the lowest point but still nice foidcbut slow service. Location was great for town, rodeo etc.

"Cody trip to west museum 2017"

User 28/06/2017

Went to Cody Buffalo Bill Museum of the west. Museum is amazing and huge! Best western premier was great with well appointed and quiet rooms. Close to the museum of the west. Ivy Restaurant attached had very good steak at dinner. Breakfast had poor service and lost our order.

"Fabulous Hotel"

whw0912, Alpharetta, Georgia 22/06/2017

We were on a 9 day trip and this facility was THE BEST. It is a newer facility. It was uber clean, staff were excellent. Indoor pool and hot tub were superb. I can find no fault whatsoever with this faciltiy. I would have like to have had a complimentary breakfast due to having 5 people in my party, but I knew going it that wasn't to be at this location. They do provide a 25% discount for breakfast at the onsite restaurant -- it is excellent as well.

"Great Hotel"

Karen and Paul P, Alamo, California 21/06/2017

The Premier Ivy Inn was wonderful! The room was large, clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The employees were super - very helpful with good attitudes. The entire experience there was great. The hotel is beautiful.

"Perfect stay."

JensogSetta, Keflavik, Iceland 20/06/2017

Came in as walk ins and everything from check in to check out was excellent. The room was spotless and in great condition, bed was comfy and cozy. Shower was really good. They do have breakfast at the restaurant next door and offer a 25% discount. It´s a beautiful hotel.

"Upper Michigan guest"

patriciadZ2358LM, Escanaba, Michigan 19/06/2017

This is a beautiful hotel. Everything was very well maintained.I would definitely stay there again. It was pricey but reasonable for peak season. Cody, WY is a friendly little town. We had a great time there.

"Nice hotel!"

travelermarc, Oregon City 19/06/2017

We spent a recent weekend here. The hotel is lovely, the suites very nice. The linens and soaps were top quality. Only issue we had, the main parking lot says reserved for the restaurant. Were not certain if we were "allowed" to park there although we did eat some of our meals there. We went to breakfast at 8:30 and, although the restaurant appeared 75% vacant, were asked if we had a reservation. I think they need to decide which business is their real focus, hotel or restaurant. I still gave an overall very good rating.

"Great Stay!"

User 15/06/2017

Our family stayed 2 nights here as a pit stop on our way west. We arrived late to the hotel (8:00pm) but check-in was easy and swift. The room was exactly as described and very clean. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The only negative here was the restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. We waited 10+ minutes for the hostess to come seat us and another 30 minutes for food to arrive at our table after ordering. The food wasn't worth the wait, let me say. If you stay here-dine elsewhere. We didn't let that bad experience shade our view of this hotel. We loved our stay in Cody, minus dining at the restaurant. We recommend this hotel.

"Unexpected pleasure"

G7198GPmaryd, Boston, United States 15/06/2017

I stayed at the Best Western Premier Ivy for one day and night, mandated by a doctor in Cody, to help me adjust to the altitude. I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth and helpfulness of the staff. The room was attractive and roomy. I ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. Staff were well-trained and friendly. I consider the breakfast (herbed scrambled eggs) one of the best meals of my Wyoming trip.

"The BESTEST Western Ever!"

EfficientTraveler, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 11/06/2017

Loved this hotel. I travel a lot and this is one of the best I've stayed in. I am top status Marriot too. For a 3 star hotel, easily the best I've been in. I give it 5 stars. My family came in from Yellowstone for the night, and this hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Clean, comfortable, friendly. Decor was top notch in the room. Kurig coffee maker, fridge and microwave in the room along with sofa bed. The restaurant was great. Amazing breakfast, and 25% off for guests! My room was by the road, which made it a little loud sometimes, but I loved the balcony. Highly recommend this hotel!

"Yosemite vacation with my wife"

Great time and good hotel, would definitely return in the future. Based on this hotel, we joined the rewards club. To He staff was excellent and the room was clean. Parking and elevators were convenient.

"Nice Motel"

Stephen H, Findlay, United States 08/06/2017

Our family stayed while visiting Yellowstone. The motel is beautiful and has a good location. It is an upscale accommodation. We stayed one night and then went back through Yellowstone to the Grand Tetons. On the way back east we stayed a second night since the place was so great. I think the pool should be open later than 10pm and should at least offer some breakfast morsel. I just couldn't justify tacking on a pricey breakfast at the motel restaurant after paying $250 +/- a night.

"Beautiful Property"

User 07/06/2017

This BW Premier is everything you would expect from an upscale hotel. It was beautiful and quiet. The room was super comfy and the view was amazing. Being that we are from Texas, being able to see mountains off of the balcony was awesome!

We enjoyed staying at Best Western Ivy on our trip to Yellowstone. Everything was excellent!! The swimming pool and hot tub area was very nice! Also, was able to throw a load of laundry in!! Would absolutely recommend!!

"The BEST of the Best Western Hotels"

SycamoreSue, Naples, Florida 05/06/2017

WOW! This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. Every little thing was perfect. The décor reminds you of a high priced ski lodge. The room was really big, as was the bathroom. The shower was unique as it was a large walk-in with no door and beautiful multi colored stone floor. Very nice wet bar. Absolutely loved the gigantic balcony that looked out towards the mountains. It even has a screen door so we were able to sleep with the door open w/o worrying about bugs. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very nice bathroom products and a nice size too. Nice large TV that worked well and no problems with the internet. All of the staff were polite, helpful, and friendly and looked professional too. There is a lovely indoor pool and hot tub. We had 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts from the restaurant( 8th Street at the IVY). and they were all delicious and hot and we received good, fast service. .Very friendly and helpful front desk clerk (Pillar). Our stay here was the icing on the cake for a beautiful week at Yellowstone. Hope to be back someday!

"2 bed queen suite with 2 bathrooms. Comes with a large full suite"

fdajnowicz, Canton, Michigan 01/06/2017

First time in a full suite with 2 bathrooms. Makes life sooooooo much better when trying to get ready. This room just dripped class, with the high table and four chairs with a large desk, wet bar and huge "L" shaped couch that could seat at least 6.

"Nice surprise!"

User 01/06/2017

We stayed here on a business trip and I was very impressed with this hotel! They were so nice, the rooms were great , the amenities were really nice. I had a little balcony with table and chairs on it. The rooms were new and so clean. The front desk staff was so helpful and nice too !! Cute town , too! Hope to be back!

This hotel is fairly new. Very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed is super comfortable. The restaurant was great for breakfast. If you become a Best Western member (which is free) you get 25% off in the restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.

"The place to stay in Cody"

rosiepDorset, Dorset 30/05/2017

We have stayed in Cody several times on the way to Yellowstone & this is by far the best hotel we have used. It's not inexpensive but Cody prices are generally high & it is worth it. Our room was lovely, very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed & a very nice bathroom with good quality toiletries. The room featured a safe, microwave & fridge as well as a good quality coffee maker. I particularly liked the lounges on each floor which had comfy sofas & a TV. Breakfast was not included in the rate but there was a 25% discount for guests & the on-site restaurant had some very reasonably priced good quality dinner options. All the staff we met were extremely helpful. There are cheaper options but this hotel is number 1 in Cody for a reason!

"Terrific Hotel stay"

cmevsdvm, Sheridan, Michigan 30/05/2017

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for a few days while visiting Yellowstone National Park. The room was beautiful and clean with modern furnishings. The bed was super comfortable. Walk in shower with stone floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

"Great hotel in Cody"

Cheryl K, Cumming 23/05/2017

We stayed in Cody for 2 nights at the Best Western Ivy Inn. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. If I could make it 4 l/2 stars I would. The laundry was complimentary, which was great. I also met some nice people while in there. The breakfast was not included (hence the 1/2 star less) but the restaurant on the premises was good and did give a discount if you stayed at the hotel. I would not hesitate to stay again if we go back to the area.

"Great facility and luxurious rooms"

Mary B, Denver, Colorado 23/05/2017

This relatively new hotel is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. Our room had a wet bar with micro wave and small fridge. The breakfast was delicious and consistent with what we have found at other Best Westerns. A great place to stay in Cody.

"Great place to stay before or after visiting Yellowstone national park"

jgj4803, billings, mt 22/05/2017

Large comfortable beautifully decorated sleek room. Shower amazing with no curtain. Accompanying restaurant had great food and drinks. Convenient location near fabulous Cody museum. Balconies on street side.

timothyjohnd2017, Reno, NV, United States 22/05/2017

Overall, a 5 star weekend in all respects: staff, room, property, food and amenities. We arrived to find a very clean room, king bed, excellent decor in the rooms, plenty of room in the bath room and shower (no tub). Supportive bed and room insulation from noise. We were on the road side of the hotel, second floor and never once heard the traffic. If you are in Cody, WY, this will always be our hotel.

"We love this place!"

User 18/05/2017

We stopped here based on reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed in the least. The young man who checked us in was more than professional, even letting us check out a room to make sure it was suitable for my father's special needs before booking the room. Absolutely beautiful hotel & everyone who works there was more than friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

"A touch of class"

Susan S, The Villages, Florida, United States 14/05/2017

I made this reservation in advance based on proximity to the Buffalo Bill Museum and downtown combined with a touch of luxury. We were not disappointed. The entry welcomes you into large comfortable sofas and chairs in separate seating areas. A place to visit with family or friends. They have these on every floor with nice fireplace and views. It was nice outside the room on the third floor to sit and quietly read a book while my husband finished watched the golf tournament in the room. We chose a room with a view with a balcony and very comfortable beds and set up. From here we are actually driving up the Chief Joseph Hwy (296) to the NE entrance to Yellowstone.

"Great place to stay"

User 14/05/2017

We only stayed here one night but we were very impressed. The service was good, staff were friendly, good facilities including wheelchair access & we loved the style & decor of the hotel. Close to the airport & town centre. We ate in their restaurant which we really enjoyed. It's somewhere we would have liked to stay longer.

"Best choice!"

connie g, Half Moon Bay, California 11/05/2017

We stayed here one night on our way to Yellowstone. I wish we could stay longer! Hotel is extremely clean, rooms are spacious. There is a walk-in shower with a pebble floor, a Keurig coffee maker, beautiful tile floor in the entry and bathroom. The attached restaurant (8th Street Restaurant) is very good. No free breakfast but you get a 25% discount on breakfast at the restaurant. It is definitely worth the extra money - if you plan to spoil yourself one night, this is the place!

"Visiting Grandchildren"

Great room. Restaurant discount was great. Indoor pool enjoyed. Nice clean and overall great experience. Reservations did a great job getting us in. Definitely stay at this location again. This was our second trip here. Look forward to next.

"Great as always"

Tim F, West Allis, Wisconsin 21/04/2017

Always stay here when we visit the area. Never had a problem. Great location. Perfect. The staff is always very friendly. Indoor pool, workout facilities, lounge and restaurant. Say hi to the manager Will when you stop..

"ShoWorks Conference"

R5764QBlorim, Colville, United States 13/04/2017

It was a great experience-Best Western was located in the middle of everything-walking distance to historic downtown and the Cody Museum. There are trolley rides that take you all over the area in the spring and summer. I walked to the historic Erma Hotel for lunch and walked all over inside. Lots of wonderful shops on the main old town. Steaks at the Proud Cut. In the summer there is a Rodeo every night. The Old Trail Town and Museum is a great walk around stop, plus a must stop at Cassies which is an old Brothel now great dining and atmosphere. Not to mention you are within miles of the powell reservoir and the gate to Yellowstone.

"Best Best Western"

danamorganbarnes, Cheyenne, Wyoming 12/04/2017

Every hotel chain has "good - better - best"......this ranks fabulous. Exterior appears to be a welcoming log, perfect for this destination. The interior is even better! Every detail says "comfy, cozy cabin". Rooms are big and the beds comfortable. Workout room has great equipment. And every hotel staff member I encountered was polite and smiling. That included housekeeping. I will be back to THIS Best Western!!

"Best Hotel and Lodging experience anywhere!"

kristinf931, Pikeville, United States 11/04/2017

This is my third time staying at Best Western (me for work purposes, my family for leisure). I cannot say enough about this hotel and staff! I only wish I could duplicate the place anywhere I need to stay! Love the showers, the bath products/line. The onsite restaurant has fabulous, fresh, food. The food service is excellent with great attention to detail. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help out with anything. The place is clean, the rooms spacious and luxurious and practical. Fitness center and pool are great - all you need. There is a hot tub in the pool area (all season). Some of the hotel's attraction is its location in Cody (beautiful area), but regardless of where this place is located, the place delivers on all levels. Thank you!

"Stayed to visit Buffalo Bill Museum"

User 11/04/2017

We were there to visit the museum en route home. It is very upscale property for the area. The rooms were spacious with all amenities, and the restaurant and bar were excellent. Highly recommend if you are in Cody.

"Conference meeting"

T4761TRdouglasb, Brenham, Texas 09/04/2017

If you are looking for a top notch place to stay in Cody, this is the place. The restaurant has great food and the lounge staff is friendly and makes you feel at welcome. The beds are extremely comfortable.

"Fantastic Hotel!"

BlakeO229, Omaha, Nebraska 29/03/2017

This hotel was an unexpected gem! The rooms were so comfortable and clean, and my room had a mountain-facing view with a balcony. This property is decorated with a mountain lodge design that is appropriate for the market, but also has a stylish side. Also, the walk-in stone shower was amazing. Additionally, all staff were friendly and accommodating for the two nights I stayed.

"Excellent Hotel and Restaurant"

beverlyt491, Three Forks, United States 19/11/2016

I travel often and spend close to 100 nights per year in hotels. This is by far one of the nicest and most comfortable hotels I stay in and the food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. It is the only place I stay when I go to Cody.

"charming hotel"

lapidot, Tel Aviv, Israel 01/11/2016

Hotel is located at the entrance of town, gives a home atmosphere with fire place and sofas next to it on each floor, nice and helpful staff, breakfast included Highly recommended, very good value for money

"Nice property."

User 29/10/2016

The rooms were clean with nice furniture. Nice sitting areas on all floors with stone fireplaces and couches to relax with friends. The breakfast was good. The dinner was ok. We ate out at local places mostly. Unexpectedly nice for a Best Western. I would stay here again.

"Very Nice Hotel with good restaurant"

paripatetic, UK 18/10/2016

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in during our tour of the Rockly Mountains. Its comfortable with excellent facilities and friendly staff. Their restaurant is very good and the breakfast is good value and well served. They staff go out of their way to help. Very nice stay

"Classy hotel"

Iggy058, Melbourne, Australia 17/10/2016

We were upgraded to this hotel as the Best Western hotel we had originally booked was being closed down (presumably for renovations). So glad we were. This is a very nice hotel. Attractive lobby, a lounge area for guests on each level, very comfortable rooms. Our room was tastefully decorated, and had 2 double beds, a couple of lounge chairs, a desk with comfy office chair. It also had a kitchenette with a fridge, pod-style coffee machine, microwave, and sink. There was a safe in the reasonably large wardrobe, and a spacious bathroom with quality fittings, and an enormous shower recess. Only let down was that the heating/cooling system was noisy, so we had to keep it turned off. We were still comfortable though. The restaurant downstairs was terrible, though.

"Left feeling a little spoiled"

User 17/10/2016

We only stayed one night, but it is a very nice hotel. We had a room with a king size bed with a sitting area. Not as much of a mountain view from our little balcony, but I'm sure most of the rooms had a nice view. The bed and the sofa were very comfortable. There was also a common sitting area down the hall, which was nice, because my roommate has a tendency wake up much earlier than I do. Nice bathroom, too! We didn't use the pool, but we had a look at it. There's a nice mountain view from the pool. We were also able to walk to restaurants, although if you're not used to walking, it may be a bit far for you. We would stay there again and definitely recommend to friends.

"Very nice place to stay with friendly staff and excellent rooms and beds"

BassetMa, Greenville, TX 17/10/2016

Very nice room definitely above average in décor and furnishings. This was our 1st time at a BW premier and it is much nicer and a newer property. It made all our other rooms on the trip seem drab. Great location in Cody near Buffalo Bill Center and minutes from downtown. Has a nice restaurant but we did not eat there. Breakfast was not included but you got a discount at the restaurant. Staff encountered were nicely dressed, courteous and helpful.

"Very disappointed "

User 17/10/2016

I have stayed here before and loved it. This time the front desk was meh and the restaurant sucked! The football game was on too loud in the bar and the dining room light on glare. I asked to have both situations corrected. They dimmed the lights and turned down the ball game FOR 5 minutes! The salad tasted like walkin cooler. The room is nice but THE CODY down the road is $50 less.

"Excellent choice in Cody"

kathy v, Portland, Oregon 15/10/2016

Beautiful hotel and room. Short drive to downtown. Comfortable room and bed. The pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was 10% off at the restaurant. The food was very good. We would definitely stay here again!

"Primo Hotel!"

David K, San Antonio 10/10/2016

We spent 4 nights here. Room was large-scale bathroom exceptional for a BW. Staff friendly and helpful with recommendations. Great location for day trips. We went to Yellowstone (2hr30min to Old Faithful) and did a circle route back to main road. Higher elevations had road closures already. Took a nice day trip to Red Lodge, Montana. Nice little town with shops and restaurants. Scenery fantastic! I would definitely stay here again.

"Clean, comfortable rooms and attractive decor"

Judy1966240, Madison, Wisconsin 07/10/2016

Stayed 3 nights in Cody to take advantage of the location near Yellowstone Park. The lobby and common spaces/ lounges at the hotel are lovely. The room was clean and the beds/linens/pillows very comfortable!. The WiFi signal was strong. We ate in the attached restaurant twice. We agreed that the food was OK but not super. The first night the restaurant service was spotty, however at our second visit, our server was GREAT and she was really working hard. There are lots of choices for places to eat/drink in Cody and I would recommend checking some of them out before eating in the hotel even though it is convenient.

"Very nice hotel but the restaurant and staff are lacking"

User 06/10/2016

This is a high quality property that is quiet, well appointed and nicely maintained. However, the staff (restaurant and front desk) are not at all friendly and the the restaurant staff in particular are not on the ball. Wait times for initial service and getting the bill were long, and they just don't seem to be up to the task. Overall, it's an unprofessional crew. Too bad the staff don't match the high quality of the property itself.

"Fantastic Property"

SCCLane, Cary, North Carolina, United States 05/10/2016

You just never know what to expect if you have not been to a place before. All the photos can tell a different story than the reality of an in person visit. Well, this property did not disappoint! We had a king room. It was very large with a nice sitting area. The bathroom was also large and the shower was a straight walk-in with no lip. Great for someone with physical issues. The lobby was very nice with an atrium and had a sitting area with a fire place on each floor. I just wish they had the fire going. Some rooms have a balcony. We did not. The room had a safe.

"Cody coziness"

User 05/10/2016

Loved it! The best rest I've had in any Best Western. The premium towels and bedding was so nice, we felt pampered. Extra pillows and the room temperature was just right. We had a balcony with a view. Their staff was friendly and helpful too. On the negative side their room service and restaurant needs to step it up with customer service. I highly recommend staying at the Ivy for your Yellowstone experience.

"Two night stay"

User 02/10/2016

The rooms were excellent. It was clean, beds and pillows were great. On Saturday evening the people above us were loud (am and pm) loved the shower. Front desk wasn't friendly at all. Would definitely stay here again. Don't eat in the restaurant it is horrible and the service is the worst. We sent our food back to the kitchen. If they are connected to the Best Western Premier, they need to close it.

"Great hotel for families!"

KatStam, Montclair, New Jersey 01/10/2016

We only stayed one night - the night of the Rodeo. Wished we had had more time to spend here. It was very clean, friendly staff, and enough room for our family of five (two beds and a pull out couch). There is a pool, but we didn't have time to use it. It is down the road from the Cody Museum and not far from the Rodeo. Great option!

"Upscale best western is fabulous"

User 30/09/2016

I am here in Cody on vacation with my husband. We are so happy with this Best Western. It is clean and very nice. The bar and restaurant were great too. Stayed here 3 days it was very nice. The food in restaurant is very good. The waitress staff was limited but they did a great job short staffed and food was worth the wait. The room is so nice and clean. Comfy bed and pillows. They have a nice wet bar in room that I like. This place is priced for the area at $200 a night. In west Yellowstone we stayed at a complete dump for same price so I'm pretty happy about this place. Headed out today and would definitely come back!!!!

"Really Nice Hotel in Cody!"

John M, Ladera Ranch, California 29/09/2016

Stayed for one night at the Best Western Premier Ivy in Cody and it was a smart choice. The rooms look brand new with comfortable beds/pillows, the overall appearance of the hotel is really very very nice, and they have a great bar/restaurant on site to relax in. Paid @ $243/nite. Perfect location near the Buffalo Bill Museum. Recommend highly.

User 27/09/2016

On a road trip we didn't have a place til we got to Cody. Checked TA, saw the good reviews on BW Ivy & we called & booked a queen suite. Super pretty & clean, we agree with prior reviews. Wonderful new place, first time in a BW in 20 years. Much improved. Housekeeper left us a nice note with butterfly design, a great surprise. Nice restaurant & bar, friendly staff. Beautiful facility. This place is top on the list if we return. I'm picky on hotels & this place excels for quality & value.

"Very nice hotel"

michaelkatzer, Albany, NY 27/09/2016

We stayed here one night after visiting the Heartland Relocation Center in nearby Powell (see separate review), then going to Yellowstone after touring the Buffalo Bill Dam (see separate review of latter). This is a very, very nice hotel; very modern, lovely rooms, quiet and comfortable. I guess their "premier" label sets them apart from traditional Best Westerns. As a hotel in Cody, a gateway city to Yellowstone, prices in September were on the high side ($250) but, again, it was lovely.

"Lovely Entry and Lodge Feel"

Candice S, Benicia,CA 27/09/2016

Our room was comfortable but needed a little cleaning. The windows were dirty but I always travel with my cleaning things. The beds were fine and the linen was OK. The location is great. The pool area and gym is wonderful. I wish the rooms reflected the Main building. Loved Cody. Eat at Zappo's Mexican Food. Great

State of the Art, new facility that has everything you need for a good night rest. The bed was so comfortable with great pillows...The shower has a bench, with a great shower head, and they provide the wonderful Gilchrist & Soames soap, shampoo and conditioner...Best hotel we stayed in on our 9 day trip...

This is a very beautiful hotel -- a premier. You feel like you are in luxury with a nice metal ice bucket, real coffee cups & glasses, a fancy Keurig coffee maker. A large room with every thing you need. While it is probably a great place for business travelers & meetings, it's pricey for the average travel. And, you don't even get a free buffet breakfast that is offered at the BW Plus hotels. 10% off breakfast is better than nothing, but didn't add up much for the price of the hotel. Bar is small. We went down for a drink but no place to sit. It was a night we stayed in so we made good use of the microwave, refrigerator & space. If you have been traveling & want a treat it's a great place with a good location.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for the review we are glad that you enjoyed your spacious room and amenities. We are sorry that you did not agree with the rates which are very comparable to the other hotels in our market segment. While being a premier we opted for a onsite restaurant in lieu of breakfast buffet. We do hope to see you again!

"Beautiful hotel, close to Yellowstone"

coloradosis, Denver, CO 24/09/2016

This hotel is not what I think of as a typical Best Western hotel. Feels more like an upscale mountain lodge. Beds are really fresh and clean, rooms are decorated nicely with a roomy bathroom and shower (not tub shower). Each floor has a sitting area near the elevators which would be nice for families or just a quiet spot to read a book. Price is a little higher than we usually spend, but decided to splurge for one night before heading into Yellowstone.

What a beautiful property, much more than I expected from a Best Western Hotel. This facility is new like in condition, the rooms are wonderful as are the bathrooms, especially the open type showers. A wonderful way to start your adventure into Yellowstone!

"A step above"

JoeRNY, New York 22/09/2016

This hotel/motel was worthy of the "premier" title. Great location in Cody and to drive to the eastern entrance to Yellowstone. Clean rooms. A full service restaurant. Not as cheap a night as mony others so ask about rates. But we found it overall a welcome change from budget motels.

"Nicest hotel"

Aleda D, Tucson, United States 20/09/2016

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Great design for people that appreciate first rate hotels . I don't usually spend as much as I did for this room, but it was perfect for a much needed good nights sleep,

"Amazing this really a BW!"

CPP64, Lake Louise, Canada 18/09/2016

This hotel has won awards...its very stylish in its room fittings & fixtures. It has nice soaps and shampoos. It is well managed and run, the staff are professional & friendly. The hotel is spotless and very clean, each floor has a lobby area with TV, fireplaces and comfy sofas. there is a guest laundry and a pool and hot tub. This hotel was reasonably priced. The restaurant serves reasonable priced food. Great place to stay to see Yellowstone NP.

"nearly a destination in itself"

Diane R, bel air, United States 17/09/2016

Gorgeous amenities; clean, quiet; comfortable bed and room; public space very appealing; would rate higher than 10 if possible . . .and all of this for a very reasonable price! on the same trip we stayed at Yellowstone Lake Hotel, Jenny Lake Lodge, and Jackson Lake Lodge . . .would rank this stay second, right after Jackson Lake Lodge.

"Very Nice"

Cruiser9901, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 16/09/2016

I seldom stay at Best Western properties and was expecting something less than what I got. This is a beautiful inn, rooms are very well appointed. The shower was wonderful!!! Got a good night's sleep.

"Very nicely done!"

SJfromHB, California 14/09/2016

This was a lovely best western premier. The lobby is well appointed with a nice fireplace and good sized bar and dining area. The service is very quick and they have moist towels available as well as coffee and snacks. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. Modern and new, the bathrooms are also well appointed with great lotions and things. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is for their fish on the menu and the dinner service. The trout and salmon were fishy tasting and very dry. They also came out cold and when asked to reheat, they came back not much warmer. The servers weren't rude or anything but just not as welcoming as they could be. The dessert was also lacking and was clearly prepackaged. The prime rib on the other had was fantastic! Overall a great hotel!

"Nice Place to Stay in Cody"

Gordon C, Carlsbad, California 14/09/2016

We spent two nights in Cody at the Best Western Ivy Inn & Suites. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Our room featured a king bed, nice flat screen TV, large desk with computer HDMI and USB ports, etc. It also had a three-drawer dresser, a comfortable couch, an easy chair, coffee table, coffeemaker, bar with sink, microwave, refrigerator, and a decent size closet. The bathroom was roomy and had a huge shower. The free Wi-Fi and use of washers and dryers was also appreciated (you do have to purchase the soap, etc. from the hotel shop, but the prices are very reasonable). The hotel does not provide a complimentary breakfast, but coffee is available in the lobby. They also have the 8th Street at the Ivy Restaurant on site, but most customers I talked with thought it was just fair on both service and food.

Michael P, Derby, United States 14/09/2016

This was better than we expected since the last several times we have stayed in BW (been a number of years ago) they were not as good as advertised. This BWP was impressive and I would compare it to the Fairfield and Residence Inn we stayed at in Grand Island and Rapid City as enjoyable and comfortable.

"2 nights in Cody"

User 13/09/2016

What a nice hotel. Definitely a 5-star for a town like Cody. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Yellowstone and were very happy we did. Our room was a 2-queen suite with a mountain view, mini fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. It was definitely worth the extra money to get this room. The hotel was very well appointed, very nice, and each floor had a sitting area with a fireplace. Room was very clean, awesome bathroom, very nice towels and toiletries. We would definitely stay here again.

"Nice looking noisy hotel"

User 13/09/2016

The facility is first rate in appearance, but we stayed in 301 and the road noise was brutal. This room needs to be sound proofed. Do not stay in a room facing the road, you will regret it. With the prices they charge they should be able to figure a way to make the noise level more tolerable.

"Extremely Nice Hotel"

Heather D, Baytown, United States 13/09/2016

I have never stayed at a Best Western prior to my visit to Cody, WY. Due to the fact that there are not a great number of options for hotels in Cody, WY, the Best Western Premier was recommended from a family member that lives in Cody, WY. I am extremely picking about cleanliness (especially with regards to restrooms) and I can honestly say that this was the cleanest and nicest hotel I have ever stayed in including 4 and 5 star hotels. We were visiting Cody, WY for a family member's wedding and stayed at the Best Western Premier for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience and if I am ever needing to stay at a hotel in that area again the future, I will not hesitate to book my room there.

"Beautiful hotel"

jcoz1113, Oklahoma 12/09/2016

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, newer, modern hotel but still a rustic feel. The staff was great and had some awesome local dinner recommendations. The location is also perfect for heading downtown or heading to the mountains!

"Gorgeous Hotel and Outstanding Customer Service!"

User 12/09/2016

There is attention to every detail at this hotel! It is gorgeous, from the exterior landscaping to the showers! Keurig in every room and an amazing (and reasonably priced) room service available. We stayed on the 3rd floor with a mountain view balcony and the views were beautiful. The staff is also fantastic. We had excellent customer service from the front desk, maids, room service attendants, and waitresses in the restaurant. These employees care about their jobs and it shows. This hotel was also immaculate. Very impressed and will be staying at this hotel every trip to Cody.

"Efficient and clean"

fishguyg, Parlin, New Jersey 12/09/2016

This is a very well run property just on the outskirts of town and in walking distance of the Cody Museum. The staff knows the area and was spot on with their recommendations for dining and entertainment. They were also helpful in redirecting our route around road closures due to fires on our way back to Jackson Hole.

"Cozy like home"

Audrey3091, Manalapan, New Jersey 11/09/2016

We loved this place from the moment we walked in. The decor was inviting and warm. The fireplace was lit and the staff welcomed us with open arms. Our room was very comfortable with 2-queen beds and very lovely bedding and fabulous amenities and cosmetics in the bathroom. Free wifi is a plus and the restaurant was very convenient for our breakfast.

"Easily the best hotel in cody"

lrjohnston, Washington, DC 09/09/2016

Really nice hotel in Cody where a lot of the places looks pretty run down and in need of an update. Our rooms were very clean clearly recently updated, bathrooms were gorgeous with river drown floor showers. We ate dinner at the restaurant where they were happy to accommodate small children and we enjoyed our meals as well. Highly recommend!

"Great visit! "

User 08/09/2016

If in Cody, and you're looking for a great place to stay absolutely consider the BWP. Our visit was Very nice, comfortable, quiet and the staff made you feel like they cared and were very welcoming. Location is central to the museum and to the downtown area.

"Wonderful "

User 06/09/2016

Great hotel, staff was excellent, room was awesome not to mention the bathroom! Oh and laundry was complimentary. Perfect spot to rest after a few days at Yellowstone and visit the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.

"Best of the Best Westerns"

wigan1992, Wigan 03/09/2016

We have travelled extensively in America and often use Best Western Hotels. This hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are large, very clean, quiet and very special. The hotel has a restaurant on site 8th which was excellent for breakfast and dinner, it was also very reasonable. The hotel is about half a mile from the Wild Bill Cody Museum, which is definitely worth a visit. Well done to all the staff in this Best Western. We enjoyed our stay

"Best Best Western"

Virginia P, St. Paul, United States 02/09/2016

Best Western Premier has matched if not exceeded its competition with its BW Premier in Cody Wyoming. Everything about my stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations. The restaurant attached to the hotel was mediocre but Cody offers enough variety for other options and it is a short drive to the downtown area from the hotel.

"Fantastic Hotel love the Western style design!"

Jenneman, Amsterdam 31/08/2016

Very nice atmosphere, clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Has a bar, fittness and business center. Despite being a bit pricey loved this hotel: It's got everything you need and everything looked brand new! Close to area attractions and down town Cody.

"Walkin Shower"

Gregory S, Lodi, California 30/08/2016

This is a nice hotel. It is the little touches that make this hotel. Things like the ability to turn the door bell ring red instead of finding something to hang on the door knob. Each floor has a small lobby; we were so busy that we did not have time to enjoy it. But then the room was so comfortable that once we were in, we did not really want to leave. The real winner was the walk in shower; I want one like that in my house. I should not forget to mention the front desk staff, they made us feel welcome and were very helpful when we had questions. Next time we are in Cody, and I hope that is soon, we will stay at the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites.

"Great hotel"

Delna_13, Charlottesville, Virginia 29/08/2016

Great hotel. We got a suite which was very nice and looked fresh and newly remodeled.Everything was extremely clean and comfortable.Very pricey, but this is a tourist area and there is very little choice.

"Lovely hotel"

J0diJJ, Silver Spring, Maryland 28/08/2016

We stayed for two nights at this hotel during a stop in Cody on a two-week road trip. The hotel is lovely, done in an understated western style. It was also very comfortable. The only downside was the fitness room, which was not well-equipped (the cardio equipment was from another era and clearly the cheapest they could get) and could really only accommodate a couple of people at a time because they did not have more than one kind of equipment in working order. This is something I look for on trips because I do work out while traveling and its important to me. Otherwise, good service, conveniently located, and comfortable.

"Decent but a bit pricey"

EssexRon, London, United Kingdom 28/08/2016

We asked when we booked for a quiet room with a view and didnt realise the two dont really go together. So we found ourselves in a corner room on the front of the hotel facing the road. Nevertheless, the staff had done their best and we did have a nice view. The road was not too busy and the trailer park over the road only bothered us early one morning when some over excited bikers decided to show just how noisy their bikes could be! So far as the road noise was concerned, the traffic really quietened down after the rodeo finished so that was not a problem. We also found ourselves opposite the laundry room. When we expressed some concern, we were offered an alternative on the back of the hotel but this was next to the laundry room and a smaller room. The laundry room had a door (kept open) and there was another door into the corridor where our room was. This door was also open so we had the delight of people doing their laundry at 2 am. Its amazing just how irritating buttons hitting the side of a tumble dryer can be. Eventually I got up and closed the door to the corridor. The second night we made sure the door was closed to start with. No free breakfast in this Best Western hence the heading but it was a nice hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay despite the insomniac launderers!

"Best Overall Stay We've Ever Experienced"

Keven_Fry, Katy, Texas 27/08/2016

We have stayed in hotels across North America and Western and Central Europe during the past several years, and we both agree that our most enjoyable stay has been at this hotel. This place is not inexpensive, but you get more than you pay for, in our opinion. The desk for the laptop, etc. is directly underneath a large, flat screen television. On the wall is a panel with input for electrical items, in addition to all manner of audio/video jacks. We used the HDMI input to play some of our old movies from our computer through the television and it was much more smooth and easy than at any other hotel we've stayed at. The room is very large and has the most comfortable beds of any hotel we've stayed at, including eight pillows. There is enough storage for someone to stay here for a month without using the laundry of the hotel. The room is well furnished and has a wall-length mirror, a safe, a wet bar, a small refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker (with several flavor coffee pods) and a microwave oven. The supplied glasses are high quality crystal as opposed to paper or plastic found in most other hotels. Counters are topped with very high quality granite, which adds to the luxury feel of the room, which is in the bathroom also. The bathroom is exquisite and exquisitely stocked with good quality towels and amenities as well as a lighted wall mirror and lighted vanity (make-up) mirror. Even the radio/alarm clock is of higher quality than we've seen in any other hotel. My wife insisted that I add that the lobby is gorgeous.

"Very relaxing"

Carrera1955, Toulouse 27/08/2016

I typically do not equate Best Western with super quality but the Ivy in Cody is all that and more. Have stayed there on 4 occasions over the past year. Staff is great, rooms very comfortable/quiet, restaurant has a nice selection of items. Parking proximate to the rooms, hotel well situated for tons of attractions. Great business center, internet works perfectly in the rooms. Only improvement I'd suggest is to rework the room doors to shut more slowly...since they are not on any resistance device, guests tend to slam them when leaving the room...makes a ton of noise, heard throughout the hotel. Not a big deal.

"Best Western Ivy Premier"

User 26/08/2016

Was surprised by the quality of this property. . Not the standard Best Western property. Very good rooms, facility and service at a location where not many options are available. Enjoyed the short stay there.

"Unexpectedly high end"

sjpoyser, London 21/08/2016

Being a bit nervous about the best western label, booked a package for an overnight stay in a suite (at a very reasonable price). Turns out I needn't have worried - it's a very nice modern hotel, with great amenities, a nice restaurant and friendly staff. Turned out my "enchantment" package was actually a romantic one, with an embarrassing amount of chocolates, rose petals and swan-shaped towels strewn around the suite which was huge. The staff didn't bat an eyelid that I was with my same-sex partner thus turning an overnight stay into an unintentional homage to Brokeback Mountain. (I must say we were a bit more uncomfortable at the rodeo in Cody...)

"WOW- is all I have to say"

Icaretwo, Durango, Colorado 20/08/2016 this is the nicest BW we have stayed in BY FAR. Yes it is a "premier" but it is absolutely gorgeous. Every single, solitary detail attended to and maintained to absolute perfection. The rooms are spacious, and ultra clean. The beds are so comfortable you will not want to get up. The coffee maker is a full size, fancy unit that you use pods for. The bathrooms screams luxury and the amenities are over the top. The staff is very nice and pleasant and although we did not eat in the restaurant, we did have some drinks and the bartender was great. If you don't spend what you need to, to stay here, then you are shortchanging yourself!

"What a treat!"

Tony S, Alexandria, Virginia 20/08/2016

We can't say enough good things about this Best Western. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the decor attractive. The staff is most helpful and patient, steering us to good choices in restaurants and even giving us tips about where to sit at the rodeo. We really appreciated the laundry facilities, available without charge, that we greatly needed after a week on the road. Kudos to Best Western! The only down mark was breakfast in the restaurant adjoining the hotel, which was a bit of a disaster. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Cody.

"Stay here if you want a clean, new, comfortable lodging."

louisianaman2016, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 20/08/2016

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the comfortable and pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious with a western motif. An unsuspected find was an onsite restaurant with good food. We will definitely stay here again. The staff was very professional.

"Stay over between Yellowstone & Keystone"

Weband, Bethesda, Maryland 19/08/2016

This is a high end hotel....something I doubted given its a Best Western and the chain isn't known for high end. The bathroom was new and lovely, the beds were comfy and the layout worked well. Free wifi and lots of convenient charging stations. It was a welcome change from our Yellowstone accommodations!

"Very Nice Place & Staff"

pan513, SWFL 17/08/2016

Highly recommend a stay here while in Cody. Room was very clean and ready when we arrived early. Thank you for the quick reply to our request for more towels; it's the small things that makes for a great stay. In house restaurant provides wonderful service. We sat outside on the patio; great weather.

"Book It! "

spicegm, Fargo, North Dakota 16/08/2016

This hotel gives a great impression of the Best Western brand. The look and feel of these rooms aligns closer to higher end Marriotts than Best Westerns that I have stayed in the past. The room, beds, bedding and showers were well appointed. We were located on the first floor and I was nervous that we would have heard noise above and I cannot say that I ever heard anything. It seems so rare to have rooms that have good insulation between them these days! The pool area was basic, but the kids enjoyed. The location of the hotel was convenient to the Buffalo Bill Museum, Cody Night Rodeo or just getting back on the road to head to Yellowstone. We did partake in room service one evening and the food was very good. No breakfast is included. However, you do get a 10% discount at the restaurant if you choose to have breakfast there. Staff were professional and friendly throughout our stay. In the peak summer season, we thought this hotel was a win for our family and although it was a little high priced it was right in alignment with every other hotel in Cody this time of year.

Martha G, Campbellsburg, United States 15/08/2016

This was a very nice hotel and the rooms were very clean. The front desk were very professional but not real personable I think they should try to be more personable it makes people feel more welcome. This was one of the highest places we stayed at and they were the only place that didn't offer the free breakfast. I think as high as the price was the breakfast should be included.

"Great Family Trip"

HappyBiker60, Park City, Utah 12/08/2016

The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Clint was very helpful when we had an issue with the air conditioner & he got us another room as soon as one became available. Krystal in the restaurant was personable and very engaging. She gave us great ideas for shops & local attractions. She is a superstar!

"Western Style"

Stephen D, Dedham, United States 11/08/2016

Great stay at very comfortable outpost on the frontier edge to Yellowstone via the Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and Bluetooth Mountain Highway. Great staff and delicious breakfast for the right start to the day. Centrally located to local rodeo, shops and restaurants , allowing for leisurely pace and some great people watching.

"Yellowstone trip"

User 10/08/2016

Very nice hotel, no breakfast provided. Busy location, right on main road. Living room area on each floor in executive wing with fireplace. Small land area for large hotel. Free laundry room, free coffee. Most staff was friendly. Kerrigan coffee maker in room with limited selection.

"Great Hotel"

sheviek, California 10/08/2016

Updated and beautiful bathrooms. The showers have rock floors like a spa with a rain shower head. It was great. The hotel's restaurant is all you need. It was fantastic. We were right in town and close to all the Buffalo Bill stuff. Right outside Yellowstone. Would stay here again for sure.

"Classy Stop"

Alex C, Calgary, Canada 10/08/2016

We enjoyed our stay and the hotel was conveniently located, near the Cody Western Museum. Our room was very nicely furnished, large & comfortable. We would stay again. Only beef is that the breakfast is not included. One has to go to the attached restaurant and pay for it. We went to McDonalds.

"Premium quality hotel"

hkallumkal, Tallahassee, Florida 09/08/2016

This looks like a brand new property. Great amenities and rooms with a premium feel. The rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. There is restaurant at the property. Staff are friendly and courteous.

"Great Hotel"

NewJerseyFunTraveler, New Jersey 09/08/2016

Best western Premier Ivy is a great hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very nice. Very close to the town of Cody. We very much liked our stay there. It's in a great location. Even though there is a charge for breakfast, it was very good.

"Beautifully comfortable hotel"

LauryJean, Leon, Kansas 05/08/2016

This is a beautiful hotel. The service was good, the room was fantastic! Rooms are big, quiet and very clean. It's not really what I would call walking distance to the "downtown scene" but it's not very far if you're driving (or young and active). Each floor has a lobby which makes it nice for visiting with family/friends. There is a restaurant and bar attached and both of them are worth visiting as well.

"Superb beyond our Best Western expectations"

righteous, Mount Dora, Florida 04/08/2016

This hotel is one of my all time favorites. On the level of the better hotels anywhere. The staff was totally helpful and mostly friendly. Built in 2012 it looks new and it was built with quality and top quality materials. The granite in the lobby and bar is from Brazil and remarkably beautiful. Free packaged refreshing towels in an ice bucket for guests in the lobby. Bath toiletries are top quality. Room was very nice and sleep was easy. The hotel was so pleasant we would return here anytime. This property sets the standard for any in it's class or price range. Thank you to the person or group responsible for building and managing this property.

"Wild West setting, great hotel"

Robert C, Berkeley, California 04/08/2016

This hotel has great rooms, full breakfast, close to activities (well, Cody Wyoming is pretty small so everything is close to everything else). has a fun spa and pool and the price is very reasonable. The staff was easy to deal with and they were friendly.

"Great place to begin your Yellowstone vacation"

Sallyd3475, Alabama 04/08/2016

This is a wonderful hotel. Rooms are large, comfortable and very clean. Great atmosphere - lots of travelers were taking pictures of the hotel itself when we were there. Courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Even though the hotel was completely full during our stay, it was very quiet and easy to get a good nights sleep. We had a great breakfast in the morning at the hotel restaurant, some of the best food we had during our Yellowstone vacation.

"Best "Best Western" experience I have ever had"

insipid1991, Dallas, Texas 03/08/2016

Best Western isn't exactly known for luxury, but this Best Western surpasses some luxury hotels I have stayed at. It is the nicest hotel in all of Cody, so I highly recommend it for your Yellowstone vacation. If staying in a room with two queen beds, ask for an odd-numbered room - they have balconies that overlook the nearby mountains.

"Great New Property"

lauriemcmo, Waxahachie, Texas 01/08/2016

This place is new and plush! The amenities are awesome and the hotel staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is on the main road that runs through town so you are conveniently located near all of the attractions. We were extremely pleased with the choice that we made!

"Excellent with great views just on edge of Cody"

G60_12, Glos 30/07/2016

Friendly staff, room very clean and beds very comfortable. All the facilities you need including fridge, microwave, lots of coffee etc in room and on offer in the lobby 24hrs. Also chilled water flavoured with fruit. Good gym and excellent large, very clean, modern pool and very powerful, hot jacuzzi Set back from a busy road, so peaceful, with good views. A great idea, was a button on the door which you could light up to let housekeeping know that the room was free to clean and they turned it off when they were done Breakfast is not included and this was the most expensive hotel of our stay, but well worth it

"Great stay! Thanks, Clint!"

User 30/07/2016

Clint at the front desk treated us like royalty during our stay! He was so kind and help us with what we needed! The beautiful suite was perfect for a family of 5. The pool was very nice. Breakfast at the Restaurant was fantastic, but not complimentary.

"Cody/ Yellowstone visit"

User 29/07/2016

Nice facility, as others have said. We were there two nights, and enjoyed the little town. Food in the restaurant was also decent, but, like the hotel, a little pricy. Seems to be one of the better hotels in Cody, but next time we would choose a different place. Service was lacking, especially the snarky pm front desk clerk. Rooms on the front were loud, as was the ac, as others have mentioned. Don't bother with the "balcony view", as trees and street noise diminish the value. We usually stay at Hilton facilities, and hope there is a new one in Cody if we ever return.

"Great place"

kmdavis, Grande Prairie, Canada 28/07/2016

Spent 2 nights here. Great rooms, walk in shower and balcony with fantastic views. Beds are very comfy and the hotel is quiet considering it's on the main road through town. Very convenient location, close to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West and downtown. Only negative is the cost. We used points for one night which helped. No complimentary breakfast but there is a restaurant attached.

"Exceeded expectations"

cliff_rock, Chicago, IL 28/07/2016

Stayed here for one night on a road trip. The facility is new and very clean. I was not familiar with "Premier" tag on BW, so this hotel dramatically exceeded expectations. Hotel is located just out of the main town area, toward the strip that leads to Yellowstone NP. There are still plenty of dining options nearby. Room was very big and comfortable. Sleeper sofa was typical and tolerable. Had a great, large balcony deck to view a sundown. Nice common sitting area with a TV and fireplace on every floor extends your living space even further. They guest bathroom was very modern, with finishes that are way above average. There is (by design) no door on the shower, which means that you're pretty limited in who can use the bathroom concurrently (single sink vanity and toilet in same area as shower). They offer a free guest laundry, which was great. There is a restaurant on-site, and they offer a nominal discount for guests. Did not use the pool, kids used the gym with no complaint.

"Fantastic place to stay "

Traveler696, Alexandria, Virginia 27/07/2016

Nice western decor, rooms are great and there is a sitting lounge on each floor. We stopped here traveling from Yellowstone to Rapid City. Got in late after a long day in the park; staff was nice and helpful and check-in was fast. The staff was really excellent all around! First, one of my daughters was feeling bad the next day and I went down to extend our stay a day so she could rest. The staff had to jump through some hoops, but they made some adjustments to get us in another night and not have to move rooms. They let the other kids stay in the pool late to keep playing and relax. Couldn't have asked for a better group of folks. Hotel also has free washer/dryers and the town of Cody is a fun place to spend some time. Would absolutely stay here again!!

"Very happy with this hotel"

Linda F, Hilltown, Pennsylvania 26/07/2016

This was a very good. We had a king room that was lovely and spacious. The sitting area had a chair, sofa, end table and coffee table and wasn't cramped. Thee was a partial screen separating it from the sleeping area. The bathroom was modern with a walk in shower and a large granite vanity. The lighting could have been a bit better. The Keurig coffee machine was on a separate cabinet and had its own sink. There was a microwave on a shelf on top, and a fridge below (no freezer). The only minor complaint was that the TV, a Phillips, did not have a clear, crisp picture. The hotel is attached to the 8th Street Restaurant which we ate at several times. You get a 10% discount for breakfast. The hotel is just outside of the main downtown area, less than a mile. There was also a Walmart about a half mile away in the other direction, in case you wanted to pick up anything. I was very impressed with this hotel.

"Stay at Best Western Ivy"

User 25/07/2016

Updated room and very clean Great house keeping Very courteous check in/lobby staff Hostess in restaurant very rude. Enjoyed the Museum Fly fishing down the Shoshone was amazing. The Anglers guide helped us catch over 30 fish on a 1/2 day trip.

"A pleasant place to stay with helpful staff"

rogo57nyc, nyc 25/07/2016

This is the first time I stayed at a Premier Best Western property and I was impressed. Everything was upscale, from the furnishing to the spa products. Despite being on a major street the room was quiet. It was spacious, clean an in good condition. The front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

"Excellent Hotel"

Parmeshta, Seattle, WA 25/07/2016

We loved this hotel. Extremely polite staff and amenities were excellent. Service was excellent. Decor and feel of the hotel and rooms was excellent. Location of this hotel was fantastic. Center of Cody. Everything was right next door.

"Western Chic"

William R, Leavenworth, United States 24/07/2016

Beautiful rendition of Western style and design. Comfortable rooms with all the conveniences. Warm and friendly staff. Great restaurant and hearty breakfast the next morning. Perfect place to stay in beautiful Cody, WY.

"Poor rating because of lack of security"

mike b, Seattle, Washington 22/07/2016

New hotel nice enough. Clean with very good restaurant. The bathrooms could use a heat lamp (winter) and the lights on mirrors prevent most mirror usage because of glare. Someone with an auto passkey was snooping in my room despite the fact I had the no disturb button ON and asked the front desk for no housekeeping. Lock your bags they tried to snoop in my locked bag. Would not return due to lack of security.

"Nice Luxury Room"

User 20/07/2016

My fiance's mother booked this hotel for us as a surprise when we were up in Cody. We aren't sure what room we stayed in, but it was very nice. On their website there is a photo of it simply listed as "Suite". It isn't the King Suite or Queen Suite, something bigger. When we stepped into the room we were surprised at the size. There was a dining area, separate living room, a bedroom, and two luxury bathrooms with walk in showers. The bed was incredibly comfortable, one of the best I've sleep in, which is saying something as we stay in a lot of hotels. The toiletries were excellent and the towels great. There was a Kuerig in the living room which had an assortment of coffee and tea. My only wish is that bottled water would have been nice? This is a minor nitpick though. Our stay was excellent and I'd definitely recommend it.

"Beautiful Hotel!!!"

User 19/07/2016

Staff was friendly and helpful! Rooms were clean and modernized! The pool was warm and the hot tub was hot! I would definitely stay here again in the future. We paid more than we normally would for this type of Hotel, but it definitely was nicer than any hotel of this same type. Restaurant attached so there wasn't a free breakfast buffet but other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Shakyjowls, Kent 19/07/2016

I would not have considered staying in a Best Western property if it was not for the glowing reviews on TA. Those reviews are justified, this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in during various vacations in the USA. Lovely open feel to the interior with a large atrium with seating areas on each floor. Staff friendly and professional. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, loads of facilities and a great walk in shower. Loads of parking behind the property and easy access to the main road and all the attractions. Had a nice breakfast in the restaurant but preferred the diner slightly nearby on the opposite of the street. Highly recommended

"Best of Cody"

Anne H, Bozeman, Montana 17/07/2016

When we come back to Cody and the Buffalo Bill museum, we will certainly stay here. Let me count the ways we loved it: comfortable bedding, smart electronics that controlled the air conditioning, lights and maid notifications, convenient access to the television/monitor for streaming, luxurious furnishings, comfortable lounge on each floor, and a nice restaurant with a good menu.

"Great hotel"

bball_traveler_9, Georgia 17/07/2016

Deserves its number one ranking in Cody. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a spa like feel. The staff was extremely friendly. I enjoyed he decor and that each floor has its own sitting area with a fireplace. You cannot go wrong with this stop!

"Hotel is Immaculate!"

Fiery2015, Mc Calla, Alabama 15/07/2016

My husband and I recently stayed here while visiting Cody. We stayed at numerous hotels during our 16 day trip out West. This was by far the cleanest hotel that we stayed in during our trip. At first glance this hotel appears to be brand new, but according to the employees, it is 4 yrs.old. (They really do a great job keeping everything in tip top shape.) The front desk staff were quite professional and made great suggestions for places to eat. Housekeeping was really good. The only negative that I can say about this hotel, is that they do not have a breakfast buffet. This is the first time we have stayed at a Best Western Premier, but it won't be the last!

"Slightly over priced but comfortable stay"

CassF1, Brisbane, Australia 13/07/2016

Stayed here for 3 nights to do Yellowstone National Park. Very nice, but felt it was overpriced. We had a King Room with sofa bed. Room was clean and enough room for 2 adults and 1 child. Rooms also have a small fridge and microwave. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to restaurants and a short drive to the rodeo (a must when visiting). Restaurant is well priced, the ribs are fantastic but on the night we went the staff couldn't understand the Australian accent - frustrating. There is no free breakfast. We loved Cody that we stayed an extra night. Would definately stay here again and recommend to friends.

"Clean neat"

Jb49001, Jackson, Georgia 12/07/2016

We stayed here 2 nights and the hotel was clean and neat, nothing fancy, felt it was over priced but so was everything else we looked at in this area. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa, since there was 3 adults and a 14 and a 5 year old in our party.

"Very, very nice! But some flaws"

James M, Beaver Creek, Colorado 10/07/2016

This is in a great location. Rooms are clean and well cared for. Oddly, they do not have a breakfast must order from the menu and service is slow. Most guests probably want an early start to get to Yellowstone, so this is a real negative. They also don't offer box lunches to go. That makes planning your early getaway to go to the park a little more difficult to manage. The A/c in our room caused the whole room to vibrate. We could live with that, but we could imagine it might drive some people crazy.

"New, clean, great stay"

User 07/07/2016

Very surprised at the quality for a Best Western. Everything in the hotel looks brand new and the staff are very helpful. No continental breakfast but each floor has 2 washing machines and 2 driers that can be used at no cost which is nice. It's also in a great location in Cody, not too far from Yellowstone.

"Very nice hotel!!"

Misty C, OOLITIC 06/07/2016

Very nice hotel. I would rank this higher than a Hilton! Everything very new and very clean. Free laundry and even though there is no free breakfast, the restaurant is very good. Beds are super comfy!!! Love the private balconies!! Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Cody/Yellowstone!!

"Beautiful Hotel & Friendly Staff"

User 05/07/2016

After a long day of travel is was refreshing to get to this beautiful hotel and have a friendly face to check us in. Cool/wet towlettes were available which I thought was a nice touch. Sometimes its the simple things. Room was very clean and layout was great for our family of 4. Large bathroom and shower area. Great beds.Restaurant served fantastic food and the waitstaff were so friendly! Very nice experience.

User 05/07/2016

We stayed in this hotel and was very pleased with the service. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. i would recommend this hotel and would stay there if ever in Cody. The restaurant had wonderful food and good service.

"Excellent, Comfortable Hotel !"

Rolf S, Columbus, Indiana 04/07/2016

Based on TripAdvisor reviews we stayed at the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn for three nights and were very satisfied with the room comfort : quiet, large walk-in shower, excellent queen size beds. Pool, fitness center, and business center are additional features which we very much enjoyed. Room rates are very reasonable (unlike outrageously high rates we experienced in West Yellowstone, MT). Cody, WY has an outstanding airport (GA and commercial service), and road mileage to the middle section of Yellowstone National Park is only a few miles more than from West Yellowstone, MT (plus East the park entrance is less crowded). Thus, we recommend that visitors use Cody, WY and the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn as their base when visiting Yellowstone National Park

Kendauth, Sedona, Arizona 03/07/2016

The Inn was easy for find on a main road in Cody, The staff greeting was welcoming. They were friendly and had an excellent knowledge of the area. The room was very comfortable and easy to get to. The dining room was convenient and the food was very good.

"Excellent stay"

krismb2015, Seattle, 26/06/2016

Do not pass this BW up! It's their upscale premium version of a Best Western and boy is it worth it. The rooms are spacious and updated with updated bathrooms and furnishings and beds. They have a push button by the door entrance inside to show outside in red on the room number do not disturb so no flapping cards The step in shower was spacious with a built in bench very nice We had a very quiet night there was a couple fighting loudly next door about midnight staff quieted them down ASAP. Breakfast in morning was good not included in rate but worth it it's a quiet place to start the day with trout and eggs They won 2016 Best Western Hotel of the Year

"Wondrful hotel"

Chris C, Elizabeth, Indiana 20/06/2016

Great hotel. Nice lobby and cozy atmosphere. Laundry room with free washers and dryers were very helpful for us on our long trip. Walking distance to the Firearms Museum. Very short drive to the Cody Rodeo too. Spacious room and all around good hotel.

"Best Western ever"

jeffreyj356, Seal Beach, California 18/06/2016

This is by far the most expensive but also the nicest Best Western I have ever stayed in. The rooms are very modern, furnished very nice, Keurig coffee maker. Loved the place. The restaurant on site was very good, breakfast was not included but it's very good and you get a discount.

"High (Over) Priced Luxury Yellowstone Market Hotel"

George P, Wisconsin, United States 17/06/2016

Very clean (even TV remote control was wiped down, spotless room). Very new (paint and carpets still out-gassing fumes). High prices due to high-demand in Yellowstone National Park area (big-city prices in rural small-town setting). Breakfast is NOT included (10% discount offered for attached hotel restaurant). Patio door opens to private deck. Friendly staff. Convenient to east entrance to YNP (60-90 minutes drive).

"nice place and kids loved the pool"

Jeff R, Fremont, United States 17/06/2016

The hotel is very nice and the kids loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms are nice and it all looks new. Only wish there was a free continental breakfast. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

"Very nice hotel in a nice town with an outstanding Buffalo Bill Museum"

libica, Pretoria, South Africa 16/06/2016

This Hotel is on the outskirts of Cody on the road to Yellowstone and about 500m down the road from the excellent Buffalo Bill Museum, which I highly recommend. The rooms were very nicely furnished, with an excellent large bathroom, free guest laundry and very pleasant and helpful staff. I used this as my base to visit Yellowstone, it is about 60 miles from the eastern entrance and the scenic drive to the park though the Buffalo Bill State Park is just breathtaking and highly recommended. I tried to initially book accommodation in the park but it was all fully booked, so this worked out well for us. This is a very nice hotel and I highly recommend.

"very comfortable"

jerome o, Bloomington, Illinois 15/06/2016

stayed with my family and had a great experience. the staff was friendly and the hotel new, clean and very nicely appointed. the location is close to the cody rodeo and was an easy trip to head to Yellowstone.

"Great Hotel, Not your typical Best Western"

auroraborealis2012, Minneapolis, Minnesota 15/06/2016

I would highly recommend this hotel, it is brand new and very nice. The premier brand is not at all what you think of for a Best Western. The room was very nice, comfortable, and modern. The hotel itself was great and the staff was extremely friendly. It is fairly conveniently located in Cody to everything you need.

"Welcome Respite"

deb1109, Brighton, Michigan 15/06/2016

We drove several hours, then checked in here. Great service, and there's a nice restaurant on site. That's good when you're tired and don't want to drive anymore. The room was nice too. There are some cute things to do in Cody, but we were just passing through.

"Nice rooms, pool and fitness center"

mangosforaweek, San Francisco, California 14/06/2016

This hotel is much nicer than I was expecting. We have stayed in Best Western Plus hotels before and this is the nicest I've seen. Great pool, small fitness center, microwave and fridge in the room. Our room is spacious with a king bed and sitting area. Staff are friendly. There is no free breakfast, but there are many nice spots to eat in town. The rodeo and Buffalo bills center are less than 10 minutes away.

"Upscale Best Western..."

tgbiz, Tulsa, Oklahoma 09/06/2016

Stayed here three nights. Very new and nice. Clean, with Wyoming decor. Staff was friendly, helpful. Internet connection in room worked great. Possibly the nicest hotel in Cody. We were visiting relatives close in Powell WY, and also Yellowstone. They also took us on a the scenic Beartooth HWY drive to Red Lodge Montana from Cody. Whew! A beautiful drive. Love Cody! They have worked hard to make this motel this nice. The pride they have in it shows. Motel has a restaurant but we did not partake. Free parking. Road construction going on on street in front did not hamper getting in or out. No issues whatsoever !

"Best Best Western ever!"

User 08/06/2016

Seriously one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. Great bathroom and wow! the walk-in shower! Free laundry, good coffee in the rooms, gorgeous pool and excellent hot tub. We were there a week before the real 'season' begins, so it was quiet as well.Front desk staff was all super friendly and helpful.

"Best hotel on our travels through Wyoming"

tonyjudy2016, Titusville, Florida 07/06/2016

The Best Western Ivy exceeded our expectations for a hotel in a heavily-traveled tourist area. Our room was quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. The walk-in shower was well laid out and the floor stones were eye catching. The AC was similar to a central AC unit and was extremely quiet. The balcony view of the mountains was really relaxing. The only distraction, which was not a hotel issue, was the road construction going on throughout Cody. The construction really distracted from the ambiance and peacefulness of the surrounding areas. The construction also made driving and walking a real challenge. The staff at this hotel was very friendly and responsive. The Keurig coffee maker and coffee blends were a very nice addition. One of my main requirements is that I get a good night sleep and be able to relax while on vacation. This hotel met or exceeded all of our expectations. We stayed here for five nights and could have stayed longer. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, so walking to the main area was quite a hike for those of us in our 60s given that the roads and sidewalks were under construction. We were, however, able to walk to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. We were also able to walk across the street to our favorite Cody-breakfast place, Sunset House. Our room was equipped with an iHome FM radio alarm and clock. Unfortunately, this radio clock was not compatible with our Android devices. The sad part is that we could not adjust the time. We even had one of the desk clerks try to set the time manually and he was not able to make any changes. Hotels should not restrict items such as clock radios to only one operating system like Apple. The hotel did not have a complimentary breakfast, but the 8th Street Restaurant is located on the property and offered a 10% discount on breakfast. We didn't care for the menu or prices and opted for the Sunset House instead. We did try the 8th Street Restaurant on an off night and the service and cleanliness of the utensils were not up to our standard; food was pretty good. In summary, we would stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to our friends and family. We were very relaxed and rested in this hotel and it was by far the best hotel that we experienced throughout our travels in Wyoming and South Dakota.

"LOUD!!! You will not sleep!!"

petunia2030, Rochester, MN 05/06/2016

Loud and dark. I would give this more stars if it weren't for the paper thin walls, floors and doors that BANG shut. The check-in guy was surly and had an attitude. Like were were checking into the Ritz or something. This place also has all these "green" measures such as dim lighting. The lighting will turn off if you haven't made any movements in the room in awhile. I felt like I needed a flashlight to read and put my make-up on. We were put in a room on the 1st floor next to the pool and fitness room. I felt like we were in Grand Central Station with all the noise and commotion from the hallway. We did end up calling the front desk due to the dancing elephants staying directly above our room. They were nice about it and got them to stop. If I did stay here again, I would request a room on top floor away from the pool.

"A little luxury in the West"

User 04/06/2016

I went on trip advisor and booked this hotel on their recommendation. I was more than pleased. I have never been in such a nice and modern Best Western. Beautiful hotel with all the amenities. The rooms were spacious and included a refrigerator and microwave with real glass glasses and ceramic cups! The best was the walk in shower! It was conveniently located and the staff was very helpful. There was a free laundry - just need your soap. Love the doorbell for the room and the light you use to request cleaning service. Very up to date hotel. I can see why it is #1 in Cody!

"Great Place and service"

Navin A, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 02/06/2016

The front desk folks were very cordial and friendly. The manager infact let us use the pool and Jacuzzi for a few 15 minutes past 10:00 PM as he realized we had driven for a few hours from Yellow stone. The breakfast place was very nice to sit and relax, they had some good selection of fruits and entries. The front desk also refunded me the resort fee since we had some issues with A/C and it took some time for them to fix it.

"Excellent but a Little Pricey"

eshop, Florida 02/06/2016

The hotel is relatively new and very nice. The room and bed were excellent. The staff were very nice. I guess I'm getting spoiled but I'm used to hotels of this type including breakfast. While standard internet is included, the price was about 25% higher than comparable hotels. Cody is a nice little town but I do't see it deserving of premium prices. Overall, except for average value for the dollar, it's a very nice hotel.

FairfaxFoodies, Fairfax, Vermont 01/06/2016

After a very long day touring Yellowstone with family we were delighted to arrive at such a great hotel. The staff were very friendly, the rooms are exceptionally well done and clean. This is a class act without paying over the top prices. My granddaughter was very pleased that the pool had been realistically depicted on the website (not always the case).

"Wonderful hotel, would stay there again"

deanne885, San Francisco, California 28/05/2016

I booked two King bed rooms, to accommodate my husband, myself and my parents. The rooms were very large, comfortable, quiet and clean. Even the hallways are nice to walk through. The hotel is decorated beautifully throughout and the rooms were no exception. The beds were very comfortable and the shower is a really nice walk in. Each floor has its own waiting area with a fireplace and comfortable seating. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. A terrific thing for me was that my husband and parents were really pleased with the hotel too. I highly recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

"Best in Cody"

Tymbo, San Antonio, Texas 28/05/2016

Usually we like staying at a competitors chain of hotels, but stayed this time at the Ivy Inn. We were glad we did. Very nice large rooms that were quiet and well appointed. A very helpful staff (we wanted to connect our iPad to the TV and they had the correct remote to make it happen) that was very friendly. Had both dinner and breakfast the following morning at the onsite restaurant. Usually we shy away from said restaurants and venture out in town for our meals, but the front desk said to give it a shot. We were not disappointed for dinner and so had breakfast there as well. Well recommended.

"Outstanding hotel"

eirinagealai, Laguna Hills, California 27/05/2016

I have stayed in many Best Westerns all over the world and for many years, but this one is the absolute best. The hotel and rooms are elegant, stylish, and extremely comfortable. We found our room very quiet, too, which demonstrates quality of construction. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cody.

"We were very impressed with this property!"

Tommieraytutu, Galveston Island, Texas 24/05/2016

Our room was LARGE, comfortable, CLEAN, well-designed and decorated and the property was probably the most attractive Best Western I've ever seen. An on-site restaurant that was more than adequate was very convenient after a long and tiring day in Yellowstone Park. We were very pleased with our experience here.

"Mixed review"

RH641, Colorado Springs, Colorado 22/05/2016

The property is very nice as others have said. It's clean and upscale, quiet, with comfortable beds and a very nice shower. Our issue was at check-in. We had not made reservations but had checked pricing online. At the desk, we were quoted a price $30 higher, and when we asked why it was higher than online were told "we are not affiliated with that site" even though it was the hotels direct website. The clerk would not match the price but when we asked about an AAA discount, we were quoted the exact price I'd shown him online. $30 difference is an extremely high AAA discount. Overall, it felt like we were buying a used car and it left a bad impression overall.

"Best Hotel in Cody, WY"

Markus L, Switzerland 20/05/2016

The Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites in Cody was the best stay ever in a Best Western Hotel. Very nice rooms, staff very friendly and professional, just an awesome experience. If in Cody, stay at this Hotel!!

"Vacation Trip"

terryrc42, Arvada, Colorado 19/05/2016

Nice Hotel, but unfriendly evening desk clerk to the point of being rude! We stayed two nights, the room was very clean upon arrival, however when we returned to the room the second night, we felt like the maid took our tip, made the bed, emptied the trash and was gone. She left no shower rug, didn't replace any of the toiletries or soap. Very noisy AC unit that sounded like a truck being started when it came on, then blew cold air directly on the bed. Which made you cold, then hot after it went off. The hotel lacks those important little things that make a guest feel welcome. We considered being part of Best Western's Rewards program, but after talking with the same night desk clerk, we probably won't stay at Best Western again.

"Fishing Trip "

User 16/05/2016

I have stayed in several hotels in Cody over the last 13 years. I selected the Best Western Premier for the first time. The hotel was fair priced, clean and the staff was friendly. A bonus was the free use of the laundry room. The onsite restaurant was a good convenience, however the service and food did not meet expectations.

"Classy Motel in Cody"

Stephen M, Boise, United States 13/05/2016

great quality appointments, soap, mattress, linens, TV, Keurig coffee, etc. .. 7mgbts WiFi, super clean, spacious .. shower a bit stingy, but we understand why .. first time we have ever given a motel a 10 rating ..

"Not your everyday Best Western"

SenicGorge, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 11/05/2016

This is not your every day Best Western. You walk into this lodge and are greeted by an amazing staff with warm scented or I scented towels. The hotel has a lodge feel with beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, up scale bathroom products and common meeting areas where you can curl up with a cup of coffee and chat with your travel companions. I will always stay here on my travels to Cody!

Jason N, Cheyenne, United States 09/05/2016

Room was very clean, bed comfortable. This room was very quiet even though the hotel was full. There was even a cute elephant made from towels to greet me when i arrived. Krupps in room for coffee, also coffee in the lobby in the morning. Fast internet, easy connection. Pool and hot tub very clean! Decor was upscale. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

"Great hotel in Cody"

Tim F, West Allis, Wisconsin 17/04/2016

Not your regular Best Western Hotel. We usually stay at Best Westerns if they are near our destinations and have never had any problems. This Best Western is only a couple years old. Rooms are very big. Very clean and modern hotel. Manager, Will, is always very friendly and helpful. Great guy to be working in that position. Hotel is set up to be very environmentally friendly (green). Great location. Nice pool and workout room. Bar and restaurant inside.

"Great value for a good night's rest - Restaurant not so much"

Kimberly R, carson city, United States 28/03/2016

Stayed at this Best Western Premier hotel for business. It is a beautiful property and location is right across from Buffalo Bill's Museum. This was a business trip so I arrived in the evening. Staff was extremely courteous and went above and beyond. Rooms were well appointed and beds offered a good night's sleep. My only complaint is the restaurant. Food is mediocre and kitchen closes at 7:45pm.

Stay for night, I was very pleased with the hotel. The decor was nicely updated, rooms were nicely appointed. Pool area was clean and the tempura ture in the pool room was nice and warm. The Inn was a very nice place to stay. I have to have 200 characters so I am writing more. Every thing was very nice. I will probably be staying there again. I have to get another 40 characters in. The inn is really nice.

Douglas T, Billings, United States 11/03/2016

It was very nice place to stay, It was clean and roomy. The staff was very pleasant, dinner and breakfast was good. I would recommend the IVY as a wonderful place to stay. The only down fall is the room rates $ in the summer it is pricey so plan on opening up your wallet wide.

"Good Hotel"

Brenda S, Salt Lake City, Utah 29/02/2016

The computer system was new and it took a long time for them to check me into the hotel. I'm sure once the bugs are worked out it will be seamless. The rooms are clean and the hotel is very beautiful. Comfy beds and pillows. There was only a shower and no tub in my room, though.

"Great Stay"

Seth B, Big Sky, Montana 18/02/2016

I travel to Cody, WY several times a year for work, and look for a comfortable place to stay. This place has all the things I look for: high speed internet, lounge, breakfast, cleanliness, and private atomosphere.

User 18/01/2016

Great place to stay! Comfortable beds, nice CLEAN rooms and the pool is awesome! Not to mention the gals at the front desk are great too! My husband and I stayed with our 4 kids and all 4 of them forgot their coats in the hotel room, the next morning the desk clerk called me and had them mailed back to our house! Wonderful service :)

"Very nice but with "little things""

Tyler M, Spokane, Washington 11/01/2016

Gorgeous building and rooms with great service. The heater in our room took a long time to heat the room. The hot tub was cold. The internet took way to long to hook up. 1st world problems, I know but this hotel wasn't cheap to stay at and was quite new so you'd expect things to work a bit better. Would stay again, though.

"Modern, clean, pleasant stay"

vaca577779, Schenectady, New York 01/01/2016

Our stay was really quite nice. The hotel was very clean & updated. Our room was quiet, nicely decorated, very large & comfortable with a sitting area, & an incredible new bathroom with a huge walk-in shower. Laundry room was clean & free. The pool & fitness room were both nice & very clean. The staff welcomed us warmly & everyone was very friendly & helpful as well. Dinner at the restaurant was fair but the wait staff were friendly. At the end of our meal, we waited for quite some time for tea. The kind waitress felt bad & gave us a complimentary tea - a thoughtful gesture.

"Christmas in Cody"

"Big Place on the Highway - impersonal"

User 18/12/2015

We arrived at 7 pm , the check in process was very unfriendly , we found our way to the rooms , standard for a Best Western , any port in a storm only stay there if this is your thing . The rooms were standard and most front the highway ask for one at the back .

"Excellent stay"

rosebud30, Consett, United Kingdom 15/12/2015

Went to Cody for Thanksgiving and chose this hotel because it was centrally placed, near to shops and the huge Buffalo Bill Centre. Although very cold outside the hotel was warm and welcoming with smiling, helpful staff, decorations in the foyer with a warming fire burning. Rooms very clean, large and serviced every day. Breakfast well cooked and presented. The swimming pool and spa lovely and warm. Only complaint was that the bar closed early, but then we were out of season and few people were about at night.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review

"Get out! This is a Best Western?"

User 04/12/2015

I had been a loyal 'The Cody' hotel customer, but after our company booked my room here last month, I think I found a new Cody fave. Great service, they even upgraded me to a quiet third floor corner room. Love the balconies and fireplace gathering areas on each floor. Great room service - don't miss the homemade chocolate cake as a late night snack! We'll be back!

"Should be #1"

Michael T, Virginia Beach, Virginia 20/11/2015

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the end of July and explored Cody from this base camp. From these exploration I can say definitely this has to be the best hotel in town. It was out of the main drag, so the millions of motorcycles were not as annoying and the crowds were distant, but still close enough to be in walking distance of the museum and other attractions. The hotel is the latest built in Cody and is very nice for it. I found the decorations tasteful and the rooms had all the latest amenities. Room service was spot on and the front desk cordial and helpful. Their are no vending machines, instead you can select drinks and snacks from a larger selection located at the front desk. In short, up scale prices, but upscale service and atmosphere to go with it.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us and the great review of our hotel. We are happy you chose our hotel as a base camp for your Cody explorations. You made an excellent choice. We hope the next time you are in Cody you will choose to stay with us again.

"Beautiful Hotel"

Wanderingbusinessman, Billings, Montana 12/11/2015

Very nice motel, clean and well kept. Maintenance was good and design excellent. Energy efficient, all the latest stuff. OK why a 4 star. Desk staff spends the day staring at their cell phones texting each other. I went to the desk 2 times where I had to cough to get attention. Really hard watching staff steal from owners. They were having water problems and I had a cold shower 2 times. You have to look for the restaurant staff. They are in the back doing something. Nice motel, poor management.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for staying with us. It is unfortunate to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us and felt our staff was preoccupied. This is very out of the ordinary as you can see by our other reviews on TripAdvisor, our guests feel that we are very friendly and accommodating. Our restaurant closes for lunch at 2:00 pm and does not open again until 5:00 pm. During this time there is not any restaurant staff on duty besides our cooks who are preparing for dinner. It is unfortunate that you would have to look for a restaurant staff member, but this is why. On the morning that you brought the temperature of our water to attention, we had no other guests comment on the water being cold. Our maintenance did check the water heaters and the temperature was turned up as high as we are allowed to have it by law. We also checked the rooms around your and all the showers and sinks were up to temperature. It is unfortunate to hear that you still felt yours was too cold for your comfort. Again, thank you for staying with us. We look forward to seeing you again.

"Great hotel "

User 05/11/2015

Stayed here while in Cody on business, very clean, nice mountain feeling, great people. I'd stay here again. Exercise room was a little light, no freeweights or room for floor work, but they do have a nice indoor pool. Free parking, the restaurant is fine, kind of expensive. If I stayed longer I would have eaten somewhere else.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review

"Great Stay!"

Ben H, New Orleans, Louisiana 30/10/2015

So you have to pay for what you get in this property but it might seem worth it. In order to stay you have to pay a New York City premium of $300/night. I do say that it is a beautiful hotel with great offerings. We were able to get a suite that that overlooked the mountains on the way to Yellowstone. Wish they offered a breakfast but you must pay $12.99 to eat next door. Would stay again.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for your review and lovely comments on our property. Rates in this region are rather elevated during the summer due to our proximity to Yellowstone. Although we try our best to ensure that guests still receive great value for their money. Thank you for your suggestions on breakfast as well, we have stopped doing the breakfast buffet so our guests can choose from the menu. Thank you again and we hope to see you on your next trip.

"High End Road Hotel"

NewStart78, Des Moines, Iowa 30/10/2015

The negatives here are the space squeezed location, lack of easy/close food options, lax room lighting, and smallish/tight bathroom. The pro's are extremely plush and well equipped rooms for a road hotel. Examples included the TV is wall mounted, light switches glow at night, counters are marble, all fabrics were nicer than usual (for the road). Staff were fine, everything is clean, and wifi is good. Cost was over $225 for one night. For that price this is a 4 star place. If the cost was in the $160ish range then this makes 5 stars from me.

BWSunset, Guest Relations Manager at BEST WESTERN PREMIER Ivy Inn & Suites, responded to this review
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Thank you for letting us know the things you liked, as well as things we can work on improving. We do have seasonal rates in Cody so in the summer our rates are elevated. Maybe we can talk you into coming to visit us in the winter? Have a great day and we will see you on your next trip.

"Excellent Experience"

Conor T, Denver, United States 28/10/2015

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend anyone coming through Cody, WY to stay at this location. Its more like a Ritz Carlton than a Best Western.

"Wonderful Family Atmosphere"

SanFranciscoBonnie, San Francisco 28/10/2015

We booked a family reunion in Cody, Wyoming and picked the Ivy Inn. What a great hotel for groups! The design of the building is so open with the three floors being an open floor plan with lounges on each level. Our group met for drinks and conversation many times during our stay. It's also a wonderful space for middle of the night reading so I didn't disturb my roommate. It's beautifully decorated with a feel of the West. We had breakfast at the restaurant each morning and the trout was delicious.

"Beautiful New Hotel"

Paul R, Centennial, United States 27/10/2015

We stayed at the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites for one night in Cody on our way to Yellowstone. The room was lovely, very new and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was a little too far from downtown Cody to walk, but it was a very short drive.

"Still the best"

User 27/10/2015

Stayed here 2 years ago and came for a second trip. Everything is still in tip top shape. Very happy with our stay. Beds are nice and comfy, nice bathroom with large shower. Nice views from the balcony.

"Love BW IVY!!"

Christine N, Cody, United States 27/10/2015

We have stayed at the Best Western Premier Ivy Inn several times and have always had a great experience!! What a beautiful property!! Highly recommend it & will always stay there when we are in Cody. The rooms are some of the best we've ever stayed in and we travel quite extensivley!!!

"Beautiful hotel with nice extras "

User 26/10/2015

The hotel appears new and is spotless. The rustic charm makes you want to stay at the hotel. The room was large and the beds very comfortable. I would have enjoyed flatter pillows that weren't so puffy but that's a personal preference. The huge walk in shower with a fold down wooden seat is a nice touch, as is the second small sink next to the Keurig coffee machine and microwave. That said, vouchers for free breakfast would have been nice instead of just a 10% discount, which by the way, doesn't apply towards dinner. The food was okay but nothing to rave about. The convenience of not having to go out and find dinner made it worthwhile.

"Very nice hotel"

lupin06, Havelock, North Carolina 22/10/2015

This hotel had as an average room a very richly appropriated room. Very comfortable beds and coverings. Bathroom was spacious and very nicely designed. Good location for both downtown or going into Yellowstone

"Premier says it all"

My husband works out of state and we live with and care for my elderly mother so it's nice every once in awhile for the two of us to get away even if it's in our home town. Very nice hotel. Large, comfortably appointed rooms. Great beds and linens. Nice professional and friendly staff and a great value. Was disappointed in the restaurant though. We ate breakfast on two different occasions and were sorely disappointed. I think the waitress we had was new and very young. She dropped off our meal and never came back to the table. Plus the eggs had no flavor (how does that happen??) I would stay here over and over for the room but we'll eat elsewhere.

Thank you for staying with us and the nice review of our hotel. It is great to hear that as a local you decided to stay at our hotel and would come back to stay with us again. We agree that it is always nice to get away from home for the night, even if it is just in your own town. I will be sure to pass your comments regarding breakfast along to the managers in the restaurant. We hear such great comments on the 8th Street and are surprised by this. We hope to see you again in the future.

"Great Hotel"

One of my favorite hotels, comfy beds, wonderful shower, beautiful hotel. The only think lacking is the restaurant, but the Sunset house, that is also owned by the same people, is just across the street and the food and service can't be beat!

"Great stay at Cody"

My husband, daughter and I stayed at Best Western Premier Ivy Inn & Suites in late August. We all agreed that the lodging there was the best of our trip. The staff was friendly and made great recommendations for meals. Nice there was a bar/restaurant attached. The place was very clean and conveniently located to the shops in downtown Cody.

It was our pleasure to do this for you. The housekeeping staff work very hard to make sure that our rooms sparkle from top to bottom. It is nice that you noticed. Thank you for your review. We look forward to seeing you again.

"Perfection all around"

This hotel is amazing. From the beautiful room, gorgeous lobby an entertainment areas to the exquisite view and extremely professional and friendly staff. I was driving my father, (who is 92 and extremely hard to please), across country and we stayed at this hotel on the night of his 92nd birthday. He was so impressed with the room we had and the Filet Mignon dinner he was served that he has not stopped talking about it. Thank you all for making that a wonderful night for us. In addition the Cream Pancakes I had for breakfast were delicious. I wish I had asked for the recipe.

It is so great to hear that we were able to help make your father's 92nd birthday special. I will pass your compliments along to our staff in the hotel as well as the restaurant. I know that the chef will love to hear your kind words so be sure to stop by the 8th Street's Trip Advisor page and leave them a review as well. We hope to see you again in the future.

"Great big room"

CHamilton100, Salem, Massachusetts 15/10/2015

Had room on the front on first floor. Very comfortable and well appointed. Convenient restaurant in hotel with decent food. Staff person checking me in was vague in instructions for unloading baggage and room location which meant more work than was necessary. Seemed to assume I knew the hotel better than I did as this was my first visit. Would recommend the hotel though.

"Very pleasantly surprised by this Cody hotel!"

ShellSch, Denver, Colorado 14/10/2015

I was looking for a hotel outside of the East Yellowstone Park entrance. I booked this hotel mainly because of the pool, wifi, and excellent reviews. It was a little higher priced than some of the smaller, local hotels, but I figured it was worth the price. The room was very nice and the bathroom was amazing. I know that sounds weird, but they went above and beyond on having this hotel seem high end. Big screen TV, fast wifi, 4 pillows on each bed, soft bedding. The check in was super quick and the staff was very nice. The pool and hot tub were great. Highly recommend this hotel.

"You will Love it here"

User 13/10/2015

Nicest hotel in Cody, make sure you make a reservation. Close to downtown, 1/2 block from Buffalo Bill museum, 3 blocks to rodeo. Modern rooms, very clean, friendly staff. Restaurant and bar. You won't be disappointed! (And No I don't work there. )

This hotel was a treat to stay at during my trip to Cody, WY. I was not able to try the restaurant/bar, but the rooms were delightful. Very clean, quiet and decorated nicely. I love the sliding glass door access...convenient for sure!

Excellent hotel. Comfortable beds. Conveniently located to east entrance of Yellowstone. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and fitness center. Will be back during our next trip to Yellowstone. Friendly staff. Nice décor.

"Feel like a VIP"

SuzanneHye, Jamesburg, New Jersey 09/10/2015

Best stay of a 6 day trip. Clean, beautiful, friendly staff, large, well-appointed rooms. Lovely pool and hot tub. Our room had everything you could possibly need. Close to all of the sites, and a mere 50 miles from Yellowstone. We were treated like VIPs. If I ever get to come back to Cody, I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

"Believe the previous reviews- this place is teerific"

jfadds, chicago 08/10/2015

I booked 2 nights in a suite strictly on the reviews- I would say, it lived up to expectations. Nice room with great beds and pillows- decent wi fi and nice bathrooms- loved the shower. One thing about the suites- they all front the highway, according to front desk. With the fan on as white noise, it was OK- However during the busy summer, not so sure. Beware light sleepers.

"Kids trip to Yellowstone"

Our family trip to Yellowstone ended in Cody for some relaxing and down time. Our boys really enjoyed the pool. Very quiet hotel, rooms are comfortable. Bar and restaurant are very nice. Walking distance to the museum.

"Fantastic Hotel!!"

penelope1976, penelope1976 05/10/2015

This hotel is a great base for your trip to Yellowstone! Even the outside of the hotel is a great decor.. The hotel was pretty much full the nights we stayed, and I was a little worried about noise, but we never heard anyone else. Rooms were clean and well decorated... The best place we stayed on our entire adventure!!!

"Beautiful Hotel"

User 04/10/2015

We spent two nights at the Ivy. It was nice. The hotel is decorated very well. The beds were really great. I am not a fan of the walk in shower. The shower head was at the ceiling. It was like taking a shower in the rain. That is just a personal preference and does not take away from the hotel. The only negative that I had is the fan on the ac was extremely annoying.

"Great newer lodging"

jamminneapolis, Scottsdale, Arizona 03/10/2015

Decided to try after reading others reviews. Excellent new property, nicest best western I've ever stayed at. truly is premier. solid surface bath, upscale beds/bedding. Good service. Restaurant and bar on premises. Highly recommend. Very good value.

"Very nice hotel"

WITravler, Madison, WI 30/09/2015

We actually spent two nights at this hotel, but at different ends of our trip to and from Yellowstone. Each room we stayed in was very clean, looked relatively new, and had extremely comfortable beds. The indoor pool area was nice and clean and was a plus for our 6 and 9 year olds. Our only critique is that given the price of a room it would be nice if this hotel would offer a complimentary breakfast like other Best Westerns offer. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to Cody or simply need a place to rest on your way to and from Yellowstone like we did.
