Very nice, clean, modern room with very comfortable bed. Good service. Noisy neighbours but that's not the hotels fault and it was New Year's Eve. Good parking at the door. Very secure locks on door. Pool available but we didn't use it.

Great room, clean, had everything we needed, parking at door and restaurant food was outstanding. Staff friendly and helpful. A great pool which we didn't use, great for a stop off on the NE Coastal Highway

Fairly basic, okay for 1 night would only give it a rating of 3star. Staff very friendly. The night we stayed the restaurant was chaotic. Food took a long time coming. But only on when it arrived. Could have done with more staff.

We stayed here twice during a recent road trip from Perth to Pt. Hedland and back. We had a king room both times and the beds were comfortable, room clean and area quiet. Our accommodation came with free continental breakfast, which could be upgraded to cooked if required. They have an onsite restaurant, which I will review separately. For a nice little touch on the side they have an employee clean the cars' windscreens each morning. Whilst in need of a little modernization, this motel still ticks all the boxes for what is required for a good night's rest.

Located on edge of town nice easy stroll in alongside the harbour. Rooms were very comfortable and clean all the staff very friendly and efficient and made you feel welcome. Free laundry with washing line which was handy as we were travelling for a few weeks. Complimentary breakfast was nice we didn't have dinner there but ate at harbourside nice fish and chips and also walked to Carnarvon hotel pub food there was great nice choice of vegetarian meals.

Staff really helpful at check in, the room was soooo old and clean but nothing more nothing less. Breakfast was awful, cups and plates a bit dirty and coffe and juice the worst. A nice suprice in the morning was that they had cleaned the front window of our car.

Good room, typical motel set up. Good nights sleep as comfy bed and quiet area.The room smelt very fresh and clean. Good hot shower. Restaurant was good and food super. Staff weren't terribly welcoming and this would have made a difference.

Had an overnight stay here. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent size room which had seats for two people. It is so frustrating to have a double room with one seat. Bathroom was a bit dated but it was all very clean. Continental breakfast included in our room rate and it was fine, apart from the pancake maker running out of mix. Good value overnight stay.

Room was nice and clean, wifi was fine, breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. The bed was good. Would definitely stay there again. If you are there you schould eat at Sails at the motel, really good food.

We stayed at the Best Western Hospitality Inn for one night. We had a motel room with a queen size bed and a single bed. The room was big enough for three people, the bathroom was rather small and looked dated. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had Wifi in the room. Breakfast was included. We came to have breakfast one hour before breakfast was over and only found some slices of bacon and one sausage. We asked if we could have some more sausage and were told that the sausage and the bacon were only for a busgroup which has left already but that we could have their left over. Well, at least we got some left over bacon .... The motel has an outdoor pool which looked nice but which we did not use. There is also a laundry room and you can us the washing maschine for free. We will try a different motel if we come in Carnarvon again.

great friendly workers, great location easy access tot he main town. Buildings/linen/rooms okay but are outdated and could do we an upgrade renovation to brighten and freshen the overall outlook. Pool needs some sun lounges for guests.

A typical example of the Best Western chain. Clean, tidy, no frills but good value for money. Very friendly staff and a good restaurant, breakfast ( no hot food other than make yourself pancakes) is included in the room price. Dinner was excellent and we were served well by a French girl on holidays. if you're looking for basic accommodation in a quiet position then this fits the bill.

Stayed overnight on our way to Exmouth. Nice, neat and very clean motel. Restaurant dinner was YUM. Do yourself a favour and have a meal there. Internet speed not great but similar to my other experiences in regional WA. Location on the foreshore which is lovely but a shirt stroll into town. Staff all very friendly. PLUS they cleaned my windscreen. A lovely touch.

Stayed just the one night on a trip through to Exmouth. Rooms are clean and spacious with all amenities. Free wifi and a good restaurant. Breakfast was McKee and when we came back our car was being cleaned ready for the day. Friendly staff.

Great stopover, fast easy check in. Rooms very clean with everything we needed. Will stay here on our way back thru. Only thing I would of liked was free wifi but hey you can't have everything. I think I will try the restaurant on our way back the menu looks great and affordable

I just stayed overnight at this property but it was clean, comfortable and equipped with the essentials you would expect in accommodation like this. It is within an easy walk of the town centre and near the water, so a nice location. I stayed on a weeknight so I don't know if the weekends are different but the other occupants were quiet and I had no trouble sleeping. The windows were able to be opened so I was able to enjoy fresh air in the room, a real plus. The office staff were very friendly and helpful and made me feel like a valued guest even though I had never been before and was only staying one night. I did not try to on site restaurant but the menu looked good, was reasonably priced and the restaurant area was clean and presented nicely.

Very good above my expectations no issues checking in the hotel is older but the rooms are modernised spacious , clean and comfortable bed with fresh linen the bathroom is a bit dated but the shower is very good. It's also very quiet where you can enjoy a good nights sleep with the window open with no sound to wake you up (birds start to chirp at sunrise)

This Inn was located close to the Gascoyne River and within walking distance of an excellent hotel when we ate a delicious meal. The staff were very friendly and a substantial breakfast was included in the price. Excellent washing facilities if you need clean clothes.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and found the accommodation very comfortable. The bed was very comfy indeed and the pillows were great too. Meals are fabulous!!!!! Carnarvon is a lovely place to visit - short term or long term.

Good sized room and king size bed. Bathroom with powerful shower but beware the water is VERY hot (dangerously so). Small fridge, table, chairs and sofa. Pool but too cold a wind to venture in! We ate in their Sails restaurant which was very good (curry) and the lamb chops were good too. It's licensed and we had two very pleasant waitresses (one from UK and the other from China!) but the only thing wrong with the room and the restaurant was poor lighting. It was a bit dingy in the restaurant even at breakfast as there are no outside windows and at least 3 lights were not working. Our room has good bedside lights but the main lighting is not good enough. Very clean and recommend it as a place to stay. Parking outside the door. Air con too. Be careful ordering coffee at breakfast as it wasn't good and cost us $9 and mine had a chipped mug so left half of it!

I drove into Carnarvon and left my worries at the town limits. What a relaxing spot The staff at reception were very helpful and parked in front of the room. While dated, the room was clean and peaceful. The room had a relaxing view of the bay. I liked the place so much that I stayed another night I look forward to my next visit

Clean & comfortable motel very close to picking up the pathway which goes around water & into the town. On site restaurant which made it easy & was good & reasonably priced. Worse places to stay than this

The motel is in a good location just a short walk from town and the pathway around the estuary. The room rate included continental breakfast in the restaurant. Room was comfortable and allowed for a good sleep for the two nights we were there. The negatives: housekeeping knocked on the door about 9am and I asked them to call back in about ten minutes as we were going out for the day but they never came back and our room was not serviced when we returned around four that afternoon. Th water was constantly running in the toilet and judging by the water stains in the bowl it must have been leaking for quite some time and no action taken by housekeeping- I reported this on checkout but did not get much reaction from the gentleman on reception. While I recognise that Carnarvon does get quite windy there was a lot of leaves and other vegetation outside of the rooms which detracts from the look of the place and I think more effort could be put in to keep the place tidy.

There is little to criticise about this motel. Easy walk to the waterfront, Quiet location. Continental breakfast was included. The bed was so comfortable we asked for the make and model. Very friendly staff and the attached restaurant is good but some unusual dishes eg sweet and sour Italian meatballs and they were accommodating when asked to share a mains.

This motel was well positioned for walking along the picturesque Town Beach. While the decor is perhaps a bit dated, the room was comfortable and spacious and overall good value. The in-house restaurant, "Sails", served up absolutely delicious food - the fish of the day was superb, as good as I've had on my travels.

Went to best western hotel in carnarvon in july 18. Nice, clean hotel with good amenities. Next to the water and playground. Staff very nice and polite especially Stefanie who works at the reception. Would go back again for sure

We weren't expecting much. A motel is a motel. But as soon as we arrived the friendly ladies at reception made us welcome (lovely cat sitting on their keyboard!). The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Room cleaning was unobtrusive and efficient, and in the morning Gene the Yardie had cleaned our windscreen!

Overnight on the way north from Perth To Hedland. Very nice room with lovely bathroom. Toiletries, hairdryer and biscuits to have with a cuppa too. Terrific breakfast selection. They cleaned our windscreen ready for more driving. Thank you!

Comfy king size bed, on site restaurant with decent food, WiFi and a surprise complimentary car windscreen wash was much appreciated before continuing our trip north the next morning. Would definitely recommend!

Book here if you don't want clean rooms and good customer service. Rooms were poorly maintained and unclean, while the food in the restaurant was unbeatable, and slow to be served even though there were only 2people in the restaurant. Trying to address issues with the duty manager was like talking to a brick wall and you get a phone call in the middle of the night (2.5 hours later) from the same duty manager wanting to then talk about your problems.

This our first stop on our road trip north. Best Western Carnarvon has set the bar very high for th rest of the journey north. Comfortable bed, hot showers, yummy breakfast and the highlight for my partner was the pancake machine!. I loved the close walk along the marina to the Carnarvon Hotel to watch the sunset. To add to the experience we had our big splattered windscreen cleaned. Wonderful service from friendly people. Definitely will recommend and return.

Best Western can be relied on to provide consistent quality and Carnarvon did not disappoint. The room size was sufficient. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a reasonable size with good flow of hot water. Wi-Fi was ok but restricted to one user - we were able to negotiate a second device access. The continental breakfast was ok. Quiet location. Value for money.

Needs an update or renovation but the rooms were clean and the restaurant was good. Breakfast is a buffet and typical but the automatic pancake making machine a delight. Breakfast was included in the room rate.

My wife and I stayed here overnight to break up the trip back to Perth. It was very basic and just didn't seem like a very welcoming place. It was, however, fairly clean and tidy and did it's job for one night. The bathroom was quite dated but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean enough. We ate dinner at the Sails Restaurant attached to the Inn and the food was pretty nice. The included breakfast was rather pitiful though and we quickly departed and ate on our road trip instead. I could only recommend this Inn for a very short stay if you're not expecting much. It did its job though.

Rooms do need an update, but the room we had was well cleaned and comfortable. Quiet at night, and the Inn is a 5 minutes walk (along the foreshore) away from the town center, which is a lovely evening stroll. We stayed two nights, and thought the beds were comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

Overnight stay.Was not impressed.Bathroom was not very clean.Rooms could do with a complete makeover.Breakfast was ok.Only postive thing was the towels, they nice and white and fluffy.Would give it a miss.

Hubby and I stayed overnight on our way to Perth. The room was spacious, very very clean and was like stepping back into a RETRO 70's decor, but immaculately clean. The mini bar fridge/freezer wasn't very cold on the first night, so it didn't freeze our cooler blocks. Continental breakfast (included in the room price) was great and watching the press button pancake machine was a highlight. Friendly staff and did I mention how CLEAN the place was. So happy, we stayed again on the way back.

The rooms were neat clean and tidy. They are equipped with fridge kettle and tv. Continental buffet breakfast OK but you can order a cooked breakfast. Wasn't impressed with restaurant. Situated on the sea front and a short walk to shops. Ideal business stop over.

We stayed one night at the Best Western on our drive back to Perth. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated and could do with a refurbishment but this didn't bother us. We highly recommend the restaurant attached the hotel motel - we had dinner there and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Had the pleasure of staying here just one night of five in Carnarvon. The other four on my yacht. The accomodation is spotless and very comfortable. Every night I dined at the restaurant. The meals? Terrific value and superb quality. One other aspect that I particularly enjoyed was their customer service. "Amazing" If ever I get back to Carnarvon I'll be staying at the Best Western.

Like many people, we stopped over for one night on our way north. Check in was perfunctory. Others have mentioned friendly staff but they must have been in holiday when we visited. The main thing was that the bed was comfortable and the unit was clean which is the most you can hope for on an overnight stop. The bathroom could certainly have done with an update; I had never seen a basin like it. You can see how grimy it was from the photo. Looking at other people's photos, the room we had must have been one of the older ones. There is a small pool (gated) and loungers. A simple Continental Breakfast was included in our room rate which was adequate. The hotel is graded 3 1/2 stars but I thought that was pushing it somewhat.

Had a good nights rest and excellent breakfast next morning. Very close to Carnarvon marina.Enjoyed early morning walk before brelkfast. You can walk to town centre easily. The Forscene is close by and is nice in the evening with the sea breeze and the palm trees.

We have stayed here many times over the years and it's still great service and comfortable accommodation. The restaurant is amazing so you must try it. Great service by Reception staff so all round a very pleasant experience.

Just stayed here overnight on the way home. Excellent check-in accomodating a change we needed. Immaculately clean room. Lovely breakfast. They also cleaned our windscreen overnight which we really appreciate.

Room was beautifully presented and very clean. The towels,linen and toiletries were great quality. The customer service was amazing- thanks Laura. We got dinner in our room from the restaurant and it was superb. Cannot rate our stay highly enough- we will be back.

If you want to visit Ningaloo reef or Monkey Mia just go there, they have great locations to stay. Stopping here for New Year's Eve was a big mistake: the restaurant Sails was closed, the bbq broken, the swimming pool used by other people not only guests. They gave us breakfast in a basket because the restaurant closed and fire alarms went on for toasts in every room! At the desk information they had no tips for us, town was empty and things to see closed. Happy new year! Never again in Carnarvon!

This place was just such a dump Bed sheets didn't smell clean, whole place very dated. Stayed here on our way to somewhere else and we couldn't get out of it quick enough. Not sure what the other options are like in the area but they didn't look cracking either

We stayed here to break the journey on our way up to Exmouth. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We had a walk along the promenade in Carnarvon when we arrived and it was a smart and pleasant town - we stocked up in the large supermarket before leaving as it has a lot more choice than when you get to Exmouth! Visited the blow holes north of here the next morning, which are a bit of a detour but really good and worth a visit.

We had two motel rooms for 1 night only as a stopover to the north. The hotel is ideally located not far from the boardwalk and restaurant, the breakfast staff (Niels) was extremely smiling and helpful with all the request. The room was big enough with all needed!

I would definitely Rec this hotel for those who are late to drive . Best western Carnarvon is so flexible for walk in customer. We had a booking for one night with them . And when we reached to Billabong we had an accident and I ranged them and conveyed my situation and they have me refund . That's the only thing you expect when you drive so far .

We stayed for a couple of nights and enjoyed the hospitality very much. nothing was a hassle for these guys. From here it's just a short stroll around the corner to walk along the Facine and enjoy the views around sunset. The restaurant provided us with a great feed and a very pleasant place to catch up with friends.

Older style motel! Clean and friendly staff, but seems a bit old fashioned now!Probably the best place in town to stay! Restaurant food was good. Curry and lamb shank were very good with friendly service staff.

For an overnight stay, the accommodation at the Best Westertn was very comfortable. The room. Was exceptionally clean, the linen pristine and the huge towels so soft. Reception and check in quick and efficient. Thank you Best Western.

After travelling all around WA for work related matters and having stayed in many motels, I can safely say that the Best Western Hospitality inn Carnarvon was (true to its name) one of the best I have stayed in. The room was well appointed and maintained, very clean and tidy, the bed was extremely comfortable - even the thread count on the sheets was very high - (the motel I had come from a couple of nights prior they felt like trying to sleep in a hession bag). There were lovely curtains and a nice picture on the wall to cap it off. Only one minor issue was the bathroom flourescent lamp took some time to come on (simply requires a new starter is all) - a very minor thing and of no major concern - room 19 I think. A highly recommended motel for a night or several.

Stopover in Carnavon was a stopover on an around Australia loop tour for us. The staff were very accommodating, and the room was quite adequate. Neighbours in the rooms next door were noisy, but this is not the fault of the motel staff. The latter were helpful with parking arrangements and laundry facilities and directions among others.

Spent two nights here on our Coral Coast trip. Good location near the water. Very clean, met our needs, tea/ coffee provided in room. Ate both nights in the restaurant, pleasant food. Breakfast was included in the reasonable room charges and was fine.

Spent just one night hereon the way back to Perth. Not much to do in the town, but the hotel is really nice. Helpful staff, easy to find, lovely restaurant and not overpriced, we had 2 main meals and a bottle of red wine for less than $100.

As we were so delighted with the stay in Best Western in Geraldton we again decided to repeat this experience. As the one in Geraldton, Canaravan's Best Western lived up to it;s name. The room was clean, the bed large and comfortable, the shower hot and flowing and there was even enough room for my laptop and technology to log our trip. I was even given my favourite room number.! Thanks Best Western, you have done it again!

Stayed here 1 night on the trip north. Clean room and upon arrival our request for a room change was met immediately. Restaurant was average but the menu is too fancy for the accommodation and the delivery of the food was slightly disappointing because it seemed as though the menu portrayed 5 star but the quality and cooking wasn't.

We recently spent a few days in Carnarvon and stayed at the Best Western Motel. The room was well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. I would recommend you give it a try.

Very comfortable rooms in a quiet part of Carnarvon. And a gluten free friendly menu, clearly marked and with more than one gluten free option. Even a gluten free breakfast wasn't a problem. So you can be happily gluten free without feeling like an outsider. The menu incorporated all of the locally available produce and I enjoyed everything that I chose. I'm sure I saw a herb garden outside the kitchen. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. Watching the gluten tolerant using the automated pancake maker at breakfast was a novelty.

Stayed for one night. Nice clean rooms. Not a Hilton hotel but good standard Best Western category. The restaurant is quite OK, good service and decent food. Recommended for a single night when you are on your way south or north in wonderful WA

Had booked two rooms weeks in advance as we were travelling to Port Hedland & thought we would be having king size beds. On arrival we were greeted by an unfriendly chap on reception & was surprised that one group was at the front of motel on road side & other at back. We asked if we could be moved closer together as our daughter was on her own & told 'booked out'. We ended up with a queen bed in one room & other had a king. Tired we walked over to restaurant & was greeted by a lovely friendly waitress who also does housekeeping. We ordered a bottle of red wine & was advised stocks were extremely low & given option on another one. Our three meals were all outstanding & couldn't praise chef or this waitress enough. In morning we went for our shower & only had cold water. Once we warmed up mentioned this to reception staff who on this occasion were two females who apologised & advised electrician had been called - nothing we could do though. Motel offers complimentary continental breakfast which was delightful. Great selection & staff again very accommodating & friendly. Bathrooms are tired & lighting isn't great. Something I also must mention was how thoughtful of motel to have someone clean your windscreen & back windows so as you can progress on your next leg of journey with bug free clean glass.

We stayed here a couple of nights and the rooms are much nicer than the previous two Best Westerns we stayed in (Kalbarri & Cervantes). The mattresses are good for sleeping - and the double beds are actually a double bed, rather than two singles pushed together. We were relieved! The room we stayed in was a basic double room, but it was comfortable and enjoyable. The area itself is relatively close to all the shops - about a 5 minute drive to Woolworths. If you're doing a roadtrip, stock up here as there isn't much shopping to be done in Coral Bay. Exmouth has a couple IGA's but nothing compared to the Woolie's here, so well worth the stop off. The hotel has a little swimming pool with a BBQ facility, which was really empty when we visited in July. We got all the BBQ tools from reception and cooked up our dinner both nights, which was nice. The staff at reception were all very friendly too. Our booking included a continental breakfast, which was fine. Some meats, fruit, cereals, toast, pancakes +tea and coffee available. Value for money was great compared to other places in WA, so we were happy!

We booked it prior to arriving in Carnarvon and after doing our homework through the TripAdvisor Community and they did not disappoint ! We asked everywhere verbally for suggestions as to where to eat for the evening meal and were also recommended to the Best Western but decided we would be more adventurous!!! After checking out personally all the restaurants available we hot footed it back to the BW and the food was more than FANTASTIC. My partner was in heaven with his Lamb Shank and I had the most fantastic Cous Cous salad! (Both huge servings) The room was lovely, well fitted out and SO comfortable. A continental breakfast was also included in the tariff. Definitely prebook the accommodation, it was totally booked out!

This Inn was great value. It was clean comfortable, simple so nothing luxurious, and the bathroom is not exactly a recent model, but for the price it was great, especially considering the numerous choices available for breakfast. I'd stay again.

We stayed one night enroute to Ningaloo. A clean room with extremely comfortable beds- just what was needed after a long drive. Waking up to a cleaned windscreen ready for another day of driving was a very nice touch!

First time in Carnarvon and had been doing a lot of camping in the preceding 6 weeks so decided on some luxury (and by that I mean indoor plumbing & a hot shower). Staff were friendly (thanks Deb) and we felt very welcome. It was a very busy venue but so quiet. Booked for one, stayed for three. The staff even left a lovely farewell note on our windscreen while we were at breakfast on our last morning. Made our memories priceless.

Outstanding Place was packed every room full Enjoyed an extremely peaceful night Rooms well appointed and clean Breakfast buffet was well maintained, option of a cooked breakfast instead. Will stop here again.

Very clean, ample towels, has heating and cooling. Dated, but good for a motel. Very noisy, people coming and going, can hear the kids in the room next door. Parking is tight, especially when people are not sure how the bays work. Breakfast was tired, cheap ingredients, bread was awful. Had dinner, quite good, but overdressed with the salad, quite unnecessary on pasta. Garlic bread was dreadful, the bread was cheap once again, chewy and sweet. Staff were mostly very pleasant.

As a family of 4 adults and 2 children this hotel wasn't cheap even for just the one nights stay which we had booked. We had been travelling from Exmouth as part of our travels around WA. It was a special trip for my mothers 50th birthday my fathers retirement and my husband and my 30th birthdays. This leg of the journey we had to make quite a few stops... and it took much longer than expected so when we arrived at the hotel we were extremely disappointed to be greeted by a very rude man working the reception. Perhaps because we are an English family we commonly practise manners-politeness and we expect the same from others so when we are treated like an inconvenience it's really disheartening. It has really tainted our experience of this best western and we stay regularly at best western hotels in fact we seek them as usually they are really reliable. However we will never stay at this one ever again. The only positive of this hotel is that the evening dining manager was soooo helpful. He was amazing with our children. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We really enjoyed the meal even though I chose one of the specials, the lamb curry and it had bone in it and for the portions it was very expensive.... we didn't mind paying over the odds because the waiter really made the experience memorable.

We had a trip to exmouth to visit family and had a pleasant trip from perth to carnarvon which was our target stop for our trip. Travelling on the Indian Ocean Hwy a very pleasant senic trip we stopped at Jurien Bay which is a lovely town with very friendly people. Then onto geraldton for fuel at the 440 roadhouse just out of town, I got a fisherman's basket here that fed both of us twice it was enormous. Onto Carnarvon which was a fair leg of the journey. We stayed at this motel for the third time, good value very clean and quiet location, it did not disappoint we decided not to go to Sails this time but had enjoyable restful sleep for the last leg to Exmouth

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this motel. It's always very clean & comfortable. There's always plenty of tea, coffee etc in the room as well as nice bathroom amenities. A great place to stay anytime

Stayed 2 nights on a road trip to Coral Bay. This was a very clean and comfortable motel with large rooms. Really appreciated the guest laundry. Best of all was the very good restaurant. We ate there on the first night and should have gone back for second as we think it was by far the best meal we had in Carnarvon. Also the continental breakfast was a 'real' one with cold meats and cheeses which made it perfect start to the day. Staff were lovely and in all an excellent stay in a town that is so isolated.

The room were quiet and spotless, comfortable bed and staff very accommodating. and friendly. Although here for a few weeks with work I would come again on holiday. The food was good and if you had an early start a tray for breakfast would be supplied the night before when requested.

Stayed at BW Carnarvon on the way north. Great overnight stay. Room was quiet and spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable and shower hot. We were towing a trailer so had to park on the lawn at the front, which was safe. We missed out on Steve's windscreen cleaning but the cleaner sorted this out for us. We had both dinner and breakfast in Sails restaurant and it was lovely on both occasions. The staff are friendly.

The rooms were nice and very clean, the customer service on the front desk through to the restaurant was always polite and helpful. Stellios in the restaurant is a star and always willing to share a quick joke and a smile which makes dining comfortable and inviting. It's been quite a few years since I stayed at the Best Western and my most recent stay was a true pleasure. The food in the restaurant was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The fish was superb. The staff were extremely efficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. The bed was extremely comfortable and the decor update has been tastefully done. The best surprise of all was the windscreen of my car was cleaned with a note saying have a nice day!!!

We spent two nights here over Easter long weekend and the quality of room for what was paid was excellent. The location of the hotel is great as it is a quiet part of town. The check in and check out were efficient and friendly. The free continental breakfast was very generous and fresh with a pancake machine. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable too. Very happy overall with the stay and we would definitely return.

I have stayed in many motels over the years, but when I came out in the morning to clean the windscreen of our car I found that it had already been cleaned by Steve - see photo. I wish that other motels would learn from BW Carnarvon. Thanks Steve. Our room could have benefited from additional soundproofing as the people in the next room could be clearly heard talking at 2.00 AM.

This was a standard Motel type of place on the edge of town. It was clean and well equipped and so was OK for an overnight stop,but would not want to stay any longer. Wifi available but slow and limited.

A well managed motel with better facilities and amenities than many. There are no better for the price. The restaurant is well known for fine food and it lived up to its reputation. It is my favourite motel between Exmouth and Perth.

Old style single storey motel. Bathroom could definitely do with an update, but the accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable. We stayed here on 2 separate nights in the space of a week. The first time we had problems with the WIFI; the 2nd time we arrived early Friday afternoon looking forward to a swim after a 400km drive only to find that there was a problem with the pool and it was closed and couldn't be fixed until after the w/e. Ugh! The restaurant is nicely set out and we dined there - the seafood pasta was good - and the waitress Chantal stood out as being very efficient, friendly and very hard working. We were provided with a complimentary breakfast on our 2nd stay and that was very good. I would have rated this as 4 stars and not 3 if it weren't for the pool closure.

We recently stayed at this hotel on our way to Exmouth . What a great start to our holiday . It is an older style hotel but the rooms had comfy beds and were very clean . The staff were lovely and our meal at the restaurant was delicious . Had a lovely breakfast the next morning too . Thanks so much to Steve for cleaning our windows . What a nice touch ! We will definitely recommend and will be back on our next adventure north .

Motel was clean, comfortable bed and free washing facilities for guests which makes a huge difference when constantly travelling. Reception staff were extremely helpful and efficient.It's not in the centre of town which is often a blessing so was lovely and quiet but still within an easy walk of the town centre

Stopped here on our way to Exmouth, good value for your money. The room was clean and everything worked, the people in the reception was nice and helpfull giving all information that you needed. The included continental breakfast was good. The best thing ever was that when I came out from my room in the morning one of the hotels staff went round and cleaned the windscreens of their customers cars. That's giving service above the expected!

Stayed a few times now when doing the big drive. Rooms have been renovated since I last reviewed here. When I phone to book, they have my record, easy booked, you can book online too. Restaurant has been under going improvements, menu may surprise you and the food was really good. Good wine and beverage menu. Staff friendly, courteous. Comfortable stop over and will stay again on our next trek.

This hotel is great for a one night stay as you're travelling north or south on Highway 1 (as we were). The rooms are spacious and clean, although the strange brown tiles in the bathroom do give the wrong impression. The rooms are also a little dated, with some of the furniture a bit battered and worn. The motel style rooms allow the car to be parked outside the room, which is good. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, towards the harbour; it is about a 10 minute walk into the centre of town. The menu at the restaurant is quite limited, and quite expensive.

Just stopped in here for a night but the hotel is good with a big clean room and there is a nice big pool to enjoy after a long drive. The food in the restaurant was great as well and very welcoming with our 18 month old daughter.

Spacious room, with all the amenities. Very clean, even though the bathrooms are a bit dated. Check in was a warm welcome that was effortless. Gave us all the information we needed for a comfortable stay.

Fantastic Motel, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities, great rooms. Meals are generous and delicious, the pork ribs are to die for, really enjoyed them. Nice big rooms well equiped and appointed, really comfortable beds. Good old fashioned value for money, I'll be back.

We had a great overnight stay here, and enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable and we were able to park right outside our door. I love the location and recommend staying here.

Really comfortable room, lots of light and clean. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast included. There is free wifi which was ok but had its problems. Stayed 3 nights and would definitely stay again on a return visit to the area.

Stayed here to break our trip from south up to the Pilbara. The room was clean, well serviced and very comfortable. Staff on check in and check out were friendly. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, the staff there were excellent and the food unique and delicious. Continental brekkie included but we opted to pay for a hot breakfast which was well priced, served promptly and very satisfying. Thanks very much, we will be back for sure!!

We had one night here and it was up to the usual Best Western standard. Very friendly staff and a comfortable room. Comfortable bed, good wifi, good shower pressure. Possibly the best when it comes to soap size. Very generous portions of soap that I felt guilty only using for the one night. Also a wonderful continental breakfast selection. Quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend.

Room was clean and spacious, the bed and pillows a little soft. Stocked mini bar available, with room service, and onsite restaurant and bar. Within walking distance to the marina and water front area. Price being charged for the queen room was expensive compared to Perth costs, not sure why as other coastal towns not as dear. Could I suggest that housekeeping try to be a little quieter in the mornings, they started their rounds early (745 am - very unusual given check out wasn't until 10) walking up and down the paths speaking loudly, knocking on doors saying that housekeeping was calling.

Wonderful staff. Lovely room. Fabulous food from French Chef. Can't do enough to help you. Even washed our car windows so we left in the morning with clear windscreen. Lovely walks along foreshore. Not far from shops. Can't fault this place.

Booked this hotel online as we travelled from Exmouth south to Perth. It was planned to be an overnight stay, so it was all about price for us. The motel is an older one but well maintained however the rooms could do with a renovation (to modernise), but the room was quiet, warm, functional and the bed was cosy enough for our liking. The highlight of this motel to me, was the meal we had in the restaurant. Though a little pricey, the fare was very fresh, my duck confit was cooked perfectly and the servings were of a good size. Table service was excellent that night and the drinks cold. A free continental breakfast was served the next morning which keeps the cost of travel down were you can. A friendly motel with good service and a great chef. Good for an overnight travel stop.

NIce quiet spot with old fashioned motel style accommodation, the room was good but the room adjacent had a noisy cycling air conditioning unit that spoiled the peace. The breakfast was excellent and I ate at the restaurant and had an excellent

Stayed here overnight twice, a few days apart, to break up my drive up north. Both rooms were clean, comfortable and fairly spacious, with a mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The complimentary continental breakfast had a good range and variety, and the hotel is a couple of minutes drive from the centre of town. Only downside was both nights it was a bit noisy, I could hear people coming and going from the hotel and out on the street. However both nights I stayed were weekend nights, and this may have been a factor. It was still a good choice for my overnight trips.

We had a room in a bungalow. It was quite noisy and old...Especially the Japanese Tourist Group was loud until 10 p.m. Breakfast was just standard as well. We stayed in better apartments and hotels in Western Australia and i would not recommend it...

Room a bit small and old school but nice to stay for few days. I like toilet function that separate the toilet and shower anyway a bit small too. Bed not to good also not to bad. Service was very good they cleaned us windshield too. Thank you for that.

This was one of the nicest motels during our trip through Western Australia. The rooms are nice and clean and you get free wifi access. The staff is professional and efficient when it comes to check-in and check-out. The restaurant inside the hotel is great and I had one of the best fish there during my trip.

We needed a short stop over in Carnarvon and the Best Western was very accommodating and welcoming. The room was very clean and modern and the staff were very good. Next morning we awoke to find our car window had been cleaning by Cecil. A most welcoming gesture.

Well located a little bit out of town, this is a standard style country motel. All ground level rooms, clean and well appointed with wifi and complimentary breakfast. Helpful and happy staff in the hotel and the onsite restaurant.

This hotel is slightly away from the main part of town, but that is a good thing. This is a standard motel type place that does the basics well. We had an early start so didn't get to try the breakfast.

No complaints, just a straight forward motel with good space. We enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast. WiFi was good just outside the room. Room was clean, location was nice and quiet. Kids liked the pool, even if was winter!

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Carnarvon. I have not been in one of these rooms for many years and the last time they were very dowdy. But now they are great ! Clean, fresh secure and have lots of space and very comfortable beds. The service was great and staff very friendly. The location is second to none offering a short walk along the beautiful Fascine ( waters edge ) in to town with beautiful views. We ate at the resteraunt and all meals were delicious.

A very comfortable hotel, perfect rest after a long drive. Great value for money with breakfast thrown in. Restaurant was great with very friendly staff. Beautiful town - great walks and very clean and tidy everywhere.

Receptionist was very rude upon check in and again when we asked about a menu for the restaurant for dinner as if it was an effort to help. The room was quite nice though and had everything you would need. Our tv also had no reception so we couldn't watch or listen to anything during our stay

We made our booking on Wotif, whilst on the road. The hotel was clean and comfortable and easy to get to. Situated on the waterfront, it has a pretty outlook. A small amount of local traffic noise, but nothing to annoying. Very secure.

This Inn is in lovely part of town near waterfront which makes for a nice walk. Rooms here are typical motel rooms but are very clean and well looked after. We had 2 Executive king rooms which were very comfortable and had good beds. Staff were efficient and helpful. It had everything you might need with the plus of a lovely restaurant that served delicious top quality meals. Breakfast was also included and you could upgrade to cooked al a carte if wanted. Wi fi was free but best in reception. Would recommend this as a stopping off point on way up WA coast.

This was typical hotel chain accommodation. Clean and comfortable but not worth more than one night. Pleasant staff Do not expect a room,. No real personality about the place.Wi fi just would not work

Easy to get to & good location in town. I was a bit disappointed that I paid an extra $10 a night for a queen size bed, must have been an extremely skinny queen. Having said that, the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The room was quite large with tea, coffee & mini bar (don't touch unless you can afford it). The meals were ok, rather pricey & limited menus to choose from. Rooms were clean

The Great Western is in a good location, in that it is only 5-10minswalk to "town" but more importantly is is at one end of the very beautiful walkway along the water to the old railway bridge, and beyond to the 1 mile wharf. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and surprised me with a phone call several minutes after we got in to our room, asking me if everything was OK and was there anything they could help me with. Very nice. Parking is very easy, although a bit tight if you have a large 4WD. The bed was quite comfortable but transmitted movement a little too easily. We did have a problem with a noisy pool pump outside our room, but the staff moved us as soon as we asked.

Happened upon this motel as we were looking for an affordable one night stop off. An older motel that has been renovated, it is very clean and the room well detailed. We ordered room service and it arrived in good time on hot plates and was excellent. As were the chocolate mousse cake and creme brûlée desserts - compliments to the chef! Added bonus was the included continental breakfast in the restaurant, with a generous range of fruit and cereals. Excellent value.

We enjoyed the Best Western at Carnarvon. The fact that WiFi and breakfast were inclusions was a bonus. The service throughout our 2 night stay was excellent. Breakfast was continental and fully adequate for our needs. The room was a good size allowing us to spread out, the hot water was terrific and WiFi was good.

The Best Western hospitality Inn in Carnarvon is one of the nices places I have stayed. Not just in Carnarvon but anywhere in Regional WA. They have friendly and accommodating staff who will help you with anything that is within their power. The rooms are clean and modern. The restaurant food is delicios. The hotel is within walking distance from the town centre so it makes it a great convenient place to stay.

I was in rm 20. It was nice, neat, clean and quiet. The staff were lovely. We used the bbq facilities and the hotel provided us with the bbq utensils, crockery and cutlery. The continental breakfast was great. The room was serviced daily. Very close to the water. I rnjoyed the morning wslk along the foreshore. Thanks for a pleasant stay. I will definitely be back next business trip.

This place is not brand new but you can tell it's been well looked after. Comfortable and clean room, pool, friendly staff providing a personal touch to the stay. Complimentary laundry facilities were much appreciated! Delicious breakfast too!

Room was clean & bed was comfortable. Generally an old fashioned hotel with rooms that are in need of updating. It was quiet & the continental breakfast included was quite good. Compared to others in the area this is a good option. Prices along the WA coast are more expensive than other areas we have travelled.

Stayed here for 3 nights while travelling up North, stopped for 2 nights and then 1 night on our return. The same great service both times. Not sure what to expect in the town but there is things to do and see. The Dish is a great visit and the museum was very good. The mile jetty was a good walk. The hotel had a great restaurant with excellent service and food. A pool on site to cool off. Really enjoyed it.

The motel is easily accessible with plenty of parking available, allowing space for each room. The staff are friendly and the price of the room itself is reasonable. The room is more spacious than expected however it is here that you start to nice the price of hotels going up as you will find if you travel further north. The hotel has a key drop box for those who wish to leave before the office is open in the morning

Like many of the Best Westerns, the Carnarvon Best Western is clean, spacious and the staff are very friendly. As a travelling family, we enjoyed the location being a short walk along the new boardwalk into town and being so close to an adjacent playground. There is a fridge and kettle - but that is all that is provided with regards to self-contained amenities. Be wary that it is a property that is frequented by many travelling workers so late arrivals and early departures are normal practice. This didn't bother us - but it may be a nuisance to some. Top points for the super quiet air conditioner in the room (so many sound like freight trains running across your head), super fast free wif-fi and for Cecil - the sweet handyman/gardener/maintenance man who cleans our windscreen before we wake each morning. Onya' Cecil!

Stayed three nights here staff very freindly and helpful rooms were spacious and very clean foxtel movie channels aswell plus free wifi .lots of parking the room came with free continental breakfast aswell good choice and once again the breakfast staff were great I would stay here again

I stayed at this Best Western during a road trip. It offered a clean room, laundry facilities, and an insure restaurant. All the things I find important. The staff were very nice and the pool was cool and refreshing and had a gas grill if you wanted to do some grilling.

I stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. This time around I found it a bit noisier with workers staying here coming and going at all hours. Needless to say I had a bad nights sleep. It appears that I was unlucky with the type of workers staying here at this time but room walls don't help to stop the noise. Apart from this you can't fault the service or employees. Nothing is too hard. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel has movie channels and great entertainment and lots of coffee tea and bikkies free of charge. The location is close to the water and if you have some fishing gear you can walk to catch a fish or two in your quiet moments. This is a great hotel and will stay again despite the chance of noise.

We hadn't expected much from this as it was a stopover between Monkey Mia and Exmouth, but we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly welcome, clean and tidy rooms, a nice pool and location near the sea front in Carnarvon, which is an agricultural centre in Western Australia. We were still eating bananas from there at the end of our holiday. I would definitely stay there again if I was in that area. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was good. We were disappointed that the newly opened space centre just out of town was closed when we arrived - it was still operating on the (shorter) summer hours. It is home to a big dish that was used in the 60's space programme as one of NASA's ground stations.

This hotel serve's out of date food... Opened a pack of Samboy chips in my room from the bar and realised they tasted pretty yuk, before realising they were more than two weeks out of date! Can't imagine why I would ever stay at a Best Western in a private capacity... Would surely not recommend this place.

Great family hotel, stopped on our way up North. Lovely to be able to have a swim after driving for 10 hours. Rooms are Air conditioned and we all had a lovely breakfast - kids especially loved the pancake machine

The staff were friendly and attentive, helpful to our needs as we wee visiting Carnarvon on business and needed a place to base ourselves during the day. There was a good menu at the restaurant and plenty of GF options, which is a rare treat. Lots of healthy veg too! I would particularly like to mention how well the staff dealt with a patron in the restaurant giving our table plenty of noisy, unwanted attention. Thanks for being there, I felt safer knowing I had the backup of the staff if we needed.

By Carnarvon standards, this motel is a gem. Clean, quiet, great staff who are only too willing to help with any problem you may have. The restaurant is good, the food is great. Not a flash place, some would describe it as dated, BUT, everything works, and everything is clean. What else matters?

We had a normal good spacy room. We appreciated that bath and toilet were separated. Quiet place with parking right outside the door. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The restaurant was good as well.

This place is a real gem. It is situated on a quiet road in Carnarvon so there is little or no traffic noise. We also heard nothing from the surrounding rooms. The room is a nice size and includes a small table and 2 sitting chairs, a bar fridge, and an adequate bathroom. Everything was super clean. There is a swimming pool that was a great temperature and very clean, a guest laundry with clothes line and a free continental breakfast. The breakfast includes cereals, juices, yougurts, fruits, breads, coffee, tea, as well as some sliced meats and cheese! You can also get a cooked breakfast for a small surcharge. The dining room is also a fully licensed restaurant too. I think for an evening meal and not lunch, but I'm not certain. We did not eat here but the menu looked really good with an impressive selection of wines. We would highly recommend it.

Clean comfortable rooms Restaurant served great food , in good serves .... waitress was exceptional Conti Brekkie included in the price was nice without being fantastic .... still a great start to the day ... giving you enuff fuel to be able to bypass the dreaded roadhouse food along the way back to Perth

From the time I booked accommodation I felt really comfortable, with how my booking was dealt with by reception- travelled to Carnarvon for Medical - on arrival the reception made my husband and I feel almost as if had arrived home and we were made to feel very welcome -on receiving key to room and entering, the first impression was that it was cool and exceptionally clean - everything was at our fingertips and if not all written up whereas we didn't have to keep going back to reception for info - booked in for dinner - dinner was served in dining room or tropical setting, we chose the tropical setting - the two waitresses were extremely down to earth people and nothing was too much trouble - the whole eating place had a wonderful atmosphere which I am sure was due to the two girls waitressing- our room looked out over the marina and very peaceful.. Prices for us were very affordable - just ask and you will be directed in the right direction nothing appears to be too much trouble. Rooms are older but who cares if you have a comfortable bed, comfortable pricing - lovely and clean bedding and room and lovely staff to communicate with.

The location was great up the end of town but also great to just walk out onto the footpath along the foreshore and head into town. Will definitely stop in again when I travel

First stay was on our way up to Exmouth. Second stay was on our way to Shark Bay. Had same room on both occasions. Very comfortable. Ate in restaurant both times. Staff friendly. Food excellent. Lots to see in the area.

I have enjoyed staying the last three nights at the Best Western. The room I had was quite good with all those things a business traveller needs (including ironing board and iron - my number one requirement!). Although the ensuite was a bit pokey, it was okay. The soaps and shampoos were very good. As was the room service. I had a good nights sleep on each of my three nights. I did eat twice in the restaurant (Sails) which was pleasant. The wait staff were very good. My mains were okay and I did have a cheeseboard on the second occassion. All in all, a good place to stay. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. On my departure there was a nice note on the rental car windscreen saying have a safe trip and see you next time.

Pleasant motel style rooms with a small pool and attentive staff near to the Fascine. Adequate if uninspired breakfast included in the room rate. Rooms a bit tired as others have pointed out but good value for a room for the night on our drive to Exmouth.

Just stayed overnight on our trip down south to Perth from Dampier. We upgraded to the king-size bed and were on an end unit. This unit ended up being pretty noisy - even though the street seemed quiet when we arrived, there was a fair bit of traffic the next morning. You could also hear everyone else coming and going, starting cars and trucks and the room service trolly going past. It didn't help, either, when the room service knocked on our door when we were still in bed trying to get a lie-in! I would have thought that the staff would receive a list of those ALREADY checked out, to avoid this happening?? The bed was really comfy, but the room looks a bit tired and in need of an update. The location is great - very near the river and the great river boardwalk. Reception and restaurant staff were great - really switched on and friendly. Will be doing a review of the restaurant too. Would stay again - but just try to find out if there are rooms that are quieter.

I stay at this hotel when I am working in the Carnarvon area. It is comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast is basic but adequate, and the restaurant provided quality meals with great service. A nice touch is the car window cleaning that is done to your vehicle first thing in the morning. This is greatly appreciated when driving long distances that day.

Excellent service, very friendly staff; the pool was a delight every morning, lunch and evening. . Carnarvon town is just a short walk away, along the beautiful Fascine. Carnarvon itself is a very pleasant, relaxed place for a holiday, with a beautiful public swimming pool and pleasant beaches a short distance away.

We stayed for one night on 2 occasions, on our way to and from the North. We had upgraded room, which was comfortable and good quality for this type of motel. On both occasions, the smoke detector went off at 4.30am!! Staff were quick to respond and arrange to have the regular test time changed, once we pointed this out to them. The location is conveniently quite close to the town centre and right by the Fascine. Staff were helpful and friendly - we much appreciated having our windscreen cleaned for us over night. The meal in the restaurant on the way up was excellent and the service great - so much so, that we ordered the same thing again on our return. Sadly, this time around the service was very slow, they forgot our starter and when the meal came it was disappointing - I am pretty sure it was not barramundi, as we had been told. I enjoyed the pool. Overall, a good experience for a brief stopover.

Yes the décor could use some modernising, but really does it matter? The place was very clean and comfortable, the staff were lovely and friendly (I think everyone is in Carnarvon), and the location is quiet and suited to a good nights sleep. Other reviews that are a bit harsh obviously don't stay in motels in Regional WA very often If they expect a trendy Melbourne boutique hotel they are out of luck. Airconditioning was great! A continental breakfast was included and for a small fee carnivores could have a slap up nosh. WIFI was free and easy to access, so great for getting work activities done. I will use this motel again next time I am up here for work.

It really does look like a prison camp from the outside, but the staff were friendly and the room comfortable, and wifi good. Breakfast disappointing, awful coffee and no protein items to eat, just carbs and sugar.

The motel room was ok, only the carpet was a bit scruffy and the whole thing was due to be modernised. The restaurant smelled of old carpets and curtains so we never ate there, nor did we have breakfast. It was conveniently located and cheap, so there you go.

The room was clean and tidy. Annoyed I wasn't told until checkin that the restaurant was open that day. Chose to stay here for the convenience of having a restaurant after a big day travelling. Breakfast is included but doesn't start until 7am. Not good for those people who want to get on the road early. Breakfast should begin at 6 like most other hotels

The hotel is in the town and a short drive from the main highstreet. It looks like 1970s motel from the outside and actually not all that appealing. Had we not booked on line we'd probably have driven past. But that's unfair as the hotel/motel has been kept reasonably modern inside. The rooms are of single brick construction so if you have noisy neighbours you're going to hear them, a slightly negative point - but the transience of Carnarvon means that most people are there to sleep after am exhausting drive. There's a swimming pool and a restaurant, and I saw an exciting tray of room service being delivered to someone. The staff were very polite and well dressed. Although if you've spent any time in Western Australia you'll understand what I mean when I say that the staff seemed just that little bit awkward when being polite and wearing their uniforms. The room was very clean and ours had a note informing us that Anne had prepared our room. Thank you Anne it was very nice. There's a flatscreen TV with a few channels and WiFi. There's also an air-conditioner which I immediately set to 'Arctic blast' and it did a fantastic job of cooling down the room. The room was cool, the bed was comfortable with clean white linen and we were able to get a good night's sleep before hitting the road. Breakfast was light, with plenty if delicious fruit, toast and some cold meats. And while we were in breakfast someone from the hotel cleaned off the the car's windscreen. See picture below. If you're looking to recharge on your way through Carnarvon it's definitely very nice and worth staying at.

We spent two nights at this property – one while in transit to Exmouth and the other upon our return from Exmouth. On both occasions we had a large, spacious room with parking just outside the door. The room had a mini-frig, a water boiler and both coffee/tea and fresh milk were provided. Our room rate included a continental breakfast buffet and free internet access. The complimentary buffet included brewed coffee and teas, cereals and milk, some cold meats and cheese, various breads and juices. Everything was fresh and tasty! The wi-fi was reliable and we had no problems in accessing it. The Best Western Carnarvon is located in a very quiet area and there was no street noise whatsoever. Carnarvon is a lovely town with its own attractions (the jetty, the “coffee train”, access to beaches, etc.) and we recommend the Best Western Hospitality Inn to other individuals passing through Carnarvon or those staying to enjoy the town.

We used this as a mid way stop between Coral bay and Monkey Mia, there is not a lot to do in Carnarvon, but it is worth having a meal in the restaurant, it was reasonably priced and very tasty. The hotel is motel style, and you can park your car directly outside the door. The rooms are comfortable, but fairly basic, having said that we slept really well, although we were able to hear our next door neighbour on the phone.There is a nice pool for a cooling dip, but it would be better if there was hedging all the way around as you feel a bit exposed, extra towels can be gained from reception. There is a fridge and hospitality tray in the room and toiletries are supplied.

We had booked a family room as our adult daughter was travelling with us. Beware, the single bed provided was not full size, so if you have a tall person that needs this bed, they might have difficulty. The shower room had been refitted, so that was good, the receptionist was very helpful and provided us with fresh milk and a toaster. We booked to eat here and were pleasantly surprised, had a good meal. Only complaint was that the air conditioning was so fierce we had to go and get cardigans to put on. Lovely swimming pool area with landscaping, they had really tried here, shaded area and bbq. Very good for its price, clean and friendly.

We stayed in an executive queen bed room, the room itself could have been cleaner. The furniture and fixtures were extremely dated and could use a renovation. The yaht club is next door and until 5pm there was loud clanging which again started at 630am so not somewhere to stay if you want to sleep in. The towels were old and scungy definitely need to be used as rags and new ones purchased, though the bed was comfy the pillows were flat so also need to be thrown out and new ones purchased. We ordered room service for dinner and it was great, best part about our stay, you get complimentary dinner rolls and the home made rhubarb crumble for dessert was delicious!!

Despite it's 1970's external appearance, the room we stayed in was very good. It had recently been done up, good furnishings, very good lighting, all amenities including a mini bar, parking, air conditioner (although, the old air-conditioner was noisy). Friendly staff, close to town and the foreshore and the best continental breakfast we have experienced North of the Perth Metropolitan area. The nightly tariff was very reasonable and included the continental breakfast and a morning newspaper. Service at dinner in the restaurant was pretty good and they had a fair menu, but it is not cheap. My main course was $46. They have a reasonable wine list, with wines starting at around $30+, but the first two we selected from the list were not available. The dining room tables are a little squeezy, slightly larger tables would be good.

There is nothing exceptional about this motel, nothing much to complain about, nothing particularly outstanding. My one problem was that the clock in the room was set to the wrong time and I could not work out how to change it. I turned it to the wall so that it wouldn't confuse me overnight. Wi-Fi was good Decent location near the sea.

Where do I even begin?! The Best Western would have to be, hands down, the most enjoyable place I have ever stayed, and I travel all over WA, a lot! I called up a day before as I needed to change my accommodation as I had broken my foot. The lady that answered the phone (Gail) was so understanding, and changed my room around and ended up giving me a free upgrade even though I had been the one messing them around. The rooms were spotless (Latoya serviced mine and did a flawless job!) comfy beds, hot showers, iPod dock, mini bar etc. It had everything you needed & more! It had a very upper class feel to it and the stay was incredible. I ended up locking my keys in my room on the second night, and the girl on reception was onto it straight away and sorted it immediately. The customer service was second to none, and the best western should really value the quality staff they have!

Have stayed for work purposes before. On way to Onslow for holiday with family this time. Great place for stop over on a drive from Perth . Comfy beds ,good TV and a mini bar if you want a tipple ....bathrooms are in need of renovation but they are clean and adequate. Ate at the in house restaurant Sails. We enjoyed our meal but my husband thought the steak for reef and beef was a bit on the tough side . Mine was fine. Waitress was very attentive and efficient. Nice touch in the morning when returning from our complimentary continental breakfast ..... That the windscreen on the car had been washed and cleaned ready for the day's drive ...very thoughtful. Oh and the gardens are well maintained ...quite beautiful ..thumbs up to the gardener. Might look easy but there is a lot of work going into that garden maintenance . We will come back .

Stayed here as a stop-over on the way to Coral Bay. Adequate motel accommodation. Clean and comfortable room. Not far from centre or Fascine waterfront. Fairly priced. Risk of noise from neighbours. Ask for an end room. NB: Carnarvon really does have the best Fish&Chips in WA - Westcoast Fish&Chips.

On our way to Monkey Mia this was a ideal place to break the trip up. Must be the time of year as yet again the place seemed to be locked down no trips, or touristy thing to do that day, there seemed to be plenty advertised but none running, so we visited the mile long jetty, and found a great restaurant to have lunch at that served local sea food. The hotel was good, clean, and friendly as you would expect from Great Western, the breakfast was continental and again good value being included in the room rate, cooked breakfast was extra.

The Hospitality Inn is conveniently located, close to the town. Our accommodation was excellent as were the facilities provided . It has a good sized swimming pool and a free laundry where we were able to catch up on a washing., It was well located ,close to the town and was in a quiet street. This place ticks all the boxes so if you are looking for a place to rest after your travelling ,or a place for a good family holiday , then this is the place.

This is a very pleasant motel. It is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and quiet. The Wifi in the room is complimentary. It is a little away from the centre of town, and offers a complimentary breakfast with plenty of choice. Not a lot to do in Carnarvon, so don't stay too long - perhaps a couple of days!

After a long drive up from Perth it was lovely to relax in a generously sized room. Fair to say the room was nothing flashy but really didn't expect it would be lavish in Carnarvon. The staff were friendly and it was a pleasant surprise to wake the following morning as see a little note on our car windscreen wishing us a lovely day after they had cleaned it over night.. It's the little unexpected extras that make your trip memorable. We also had the continental breakfast which was fine.

I stayed at this hotel on the way to Perth for one night. The room and bathroom were both very clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked and room service was efficient. This is a great option for Canarvon and better value and quality.

We've been staying here for 1 night stop overs for 10 years, but the last few times ( in different rooms) have been extremely bad that we no longer can tolerate the conditions. Sticky carpet & the sheets STINK! You sleep on sheets sitting ontop of a plastic cover over the bed base.... No under cover blanket! Uncomfortable, is an understatement. When you move in bed the sheets slip all over the place and makes you sweat. But the smell of the sheets is the worst possible smell... a strong 'old dirty sweaty odour, but so bad you cannot sleep or put your face near it!

Acceptable quality of accommodation though ageing in ambiance...bathrooms getting outdated.. except for our second stay in a room with a newly renovated bathroom..not impressed with the heavily deodorised room on our first stay..had to request staff to open the window to air the room.. Generally, staff and reception were helpful and friendly.. reasonably clean room.. Yes, could be included among your shortlist of places-to-stay in Carnarvon..

Clean,tidy and friendly helpful staff, overall great value. Not alot to see and do in carnarvon but finding this motel on the way through was a bonus, very good breakfast included in the tariff. Its on a quiet road but very close to town so easy to walk everywhere.

A stop over, while travelling through WA. We needed a break from our roof top tent and time for a wash etc. roomy bathroom, free washing machine and dryer. Quiet. We self catered, so have no idea what the restaurant was like. Good value. Friendly man at reception.
