Boasting an 18-hole golf course, indoor swimming pool and beautiful grounds to explore, Cambridge Bar Hill Hotel, BW Signature Collection really is a place to unwind, let your hair down and enjoy some valuable 'me' time. If you want to switch off completely, simply park up and leave your car in its space for a few days. While there's plenty to keep you occupied at the hotel, there's a wealth of attractions nearby if you fancy exploring the world around you. We're situated on the A14, just a mile from the M11, so getting around is a breeze. There's also a bus stop just around the corner with regular services into the centre of Cambridge. The famous academic city is 5 miles away, with its mesmerising colleges and museums including the Fitzwilliam, home to over half a million artworks. One of the best ways to take in the sights is on a punt along the River Cam and, in the evening, see the city from a different perspective as it comes alive with cocktail bars and clubs. Elsewhere, Duxford's Imperial War Museum has more than 300 aircraft on display, while Newmarket beckons for a day at the races. Our 136 contemporary bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and plump pillows to help you get a great night's sleep. We have something for every budget, from classic twin rooms to superior doubles with king-size beds, iPod docks and extra snacks. You can relax in the Gallery Bar, which shows BT and Sky Sports and has a decked area overlooking the golf course – pleasant in the warmer months.

"Good Stopping Off Point"
This is a nice enough hotel, nothing outstanding. Although I have stayed here on a hen weekend, I use it more as a useful place to meet colleagues for meetings. The staff are friendly and helpful, but as I say, nothing to write home about.
"An Enjoyable Stay!"
Stayed here over a weekend. Was a bit worried about some of the reviews, but we were more than happy with our stay. The room was recent size and clean, yes they could probably do with a referb at some point but was not an issues. The buffet was very nice indeed, as well was the breakfast. The pool and spa were great and spent a fair bit of time in the pool. The Lounge was a great place to socialise with other guests. Bus stop just 2 mins away which goes directly in to Cambridge.
"JCA Seminars"
An excellent CPD seminar covering a musculoskeletal “hands on” weeks course of interest to consultant orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists, doctors and ultrasound practitioners. The weeks course covers ultrasound lectures and seminars on lower and upper limbs, shoulders and interventional techniques aimed at a whole range of health professional across the public and private sector. The course is led by expert radiologists and doctors in their fields offering the latest techniques and demonstrations on both static and laptop scanners on the latest improvements and technologies of the century.
"Great stay"
We had a lovely relaxing stay at Hallmark Cambridge thanks to the fantastic staff. We had a problem with our allocated room and after a quick chat with Maddi on Reception the problem was resolved straight away. Great customer service, thank you Maddi for sorting the problem so efficiently and for ensuring we had such a great stay!
"Good hotel. Restaurant not up to standard"
We had a lovely time using the spa facilities at this hotel but the food at dinner was a total let down. Expecting to eat a la carte as advertised on the website we were met by quite a disappointing buffet service with quite bland/cold food. With nowhere around within walking distance we were stuck with places to eat. Had we had known that there was only a buffet available we probably would have made other arrangements. It is not advertised anywhere that it is buffet only on a Saturday night, even when we were asked what tine we wanted to book our table reservation when we checked in The hotel did take this into consideration and removed a couple of drinks from our bill
