"Great stay"

We've stayed here on two different occasions and both stays were great. Zero issues with check in. I like to travel with my cat and the fee here is very reasonable. The pet deposit was returned to my card before we even checked out. The rooms are clean and it's overall a quiet area for being right on the interstate. We plan to go back on our next trip.

Very nice room. Clean, modern and lovely. The check in person was polite and helpful when asking for restaurants. Convenient to the highway which is a plus. Mail floor room was very helpful and necessary.

"Not going to make it through the night here"

Quick and easy check-in went to our room across from check-in building little bit of a walk that was okay we opened up the door it smelled so horrible of cigarette smoke The towels smell like smoke The pillows nice and fluffy but smell like smoke we ended up going to the Walmart and buying our own bedding to throw on there but believe me in the morning it will stay with the room My eyes and sinuses are swelled up my wife's been complaining the whole time we've been here I just need a couple hours of sleep and we can get the hell out of here Left all of our belongings in the car probably end up taking a shower at the truck stop down the road if we make it this was an absolute mistake through Groupon and experian we've slept in nicer roadside motels in the middle of desert with just a bed and a toilet you can't smell any cleaning solutions wife brought in black light that she saw on TikTok and made it worse felt like a crime scene

"Very good for one night stay"

Rooms were clean and no problem for late check in. I was not sure what to expect but the price was right for a one night stay. Beds comfy and room was updated. No bugs and traveled alone and late check in was not a problem. Did not try breakfast decided to sleep longer instead before getting back on road. Felt safe no problems and plenty of parking even arriving at 2am.

Jennifer and Victor are awesome people they run a clean upstanding hotel. Plenty of truck parking excellent beds good hot showers easy on / easy off exit 28 off I-65 all of the staff here are very trustworthy.

What a wonderful find! My husband and I traveling through and found this gem. Newly remodeled it is a clean and friendly hotel. The price was right also. If ever back in this area will be certain to stay here again. Reasonable in price with outside entry.

We were greeted by a friendly desk clerk and got checked in a super clean and comfortable room! He even gave us a deal on the pet fee which was super nice of him to do! Very accommodating, plenty of parking, and good location!! Great room at a good price! No complaints!

"ok stay"

room was ok, bathroom was too small and the water pressure was terrible, very hard to shower with the pressure being so low. the ac unit didn't seem to work right also. We set it to 64 and the room never got colder then around 68.

This little place doesn't seem much from outside. But it is always so quiet and comfortable. The Rooms are good, they are clean and comfortable and allow your pet. So helpful and willing to do what they can to assist you. It's a great family hotel.

"Terrible. All the way around, don't stay here."

Musty moldy smell in the room with attempt to cover it with overpowering Febreeze room spray. Sticky carpet, bed sheets, tacky bathroom floor. Dust covered exhaust fan, room was filthy. Continental breakfast was a complete joke of stale white bread, generic breakfast flakes and watered down coffee and orange juice.

"Acceptable motel for travel"

The good: The room seemed reasonably clean without objectional odors. The small refrigerator was fine. There were the expected complementary items and adequate towels, etc. The ice machine was convenient. The bad: The bathtub and wash sink drains were slow. Such that when I took a shower, the tub filled some as I showered. Almost none of the electrical outlets were working. I had to charge my phone with the GFI one by the sink.

"Comfortable hotel."

This is a newly remodeled hotel. The room was very comfortable. Nice beds, shower, towels, and TV. There are plenty of outlets for your phone. The breakfast was minimal, but fortunately we don't eat much. There was cereal and toast. My husband had to ask for more coffee since it had run out quite early in the am. The main problem with our room was that the rug was wet near the air conditioner. As I checked out I informed the young man at the desk. I would stay there again if that issue was fixed.

"Last minute stop"

We stopped for gas and everyone was tired, so we decided to stop for the night. Found this hotel right across the street for $100. It looked ok and decided to stay. This was one of the nicer renovated older hotels we have ever stayed in. It was clean and quite. The staff were very friendly. Couldn't ask for anything else for the price. The only thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating was the breakfast. We were there a little after breakfast started and all we saw was cereal and orange juice so we went across the street for breakfast.

SureStay hotels are hotels that were a previous name and have been taken over by SureStay. The outside of the hotel is not much to look at, but the lobby and rooms have been remodeled and updated. Rooms are large, clean, quiet, and a great value for the price paid. Staff was great at check in.

"Excellent but"

I enjoyed staying at this property but you have to get to breakfast early or they will run out of items and not have the ability to replace them. When I was there, they had run out of breads and fruit, and if you wanted to eat, all that was left was sweet cereal

"Simple and sweet"

Nice clean hotel with sweet staff. Breakfast was simple (mostly carbs), but the place was clean and well stocked. Had some damage still from the tornadoes in December, but everything was being repaired. Conveniently across from the corvette museum.

"Certainly a Great Price for an Extended visit."

the price we got for a week could not be matched by others in the area. The room was clean and we were provided with towels, tissues, coffee, etc, when we requested since we prefer our room not be serviced. Very nice! However we had to wait for coffee to made each morning. The prepackaged breakfast items looked old and the loose bread stale. The breakfast area appeared to never be cleaned. The front desk was very cooperative but again limited. The parking area concerned us because it looked as if the car parked next to us had someone sleeping in it overnight and their car alarm went off many times. They claim to offer a free laundry but it was locked. Most annoying was each night we were locked out of our room and had to go to the office to get our key renewed.

"No ice and forget breakfast go to McDonald's"

We was on the road for eight hours. I found this place on the internet and we always stayed at Best Western when possible and made reservations the night before. After a drive like that we checked in and asked where is a good place to eat, they give us a sheet of place to eat. You had to drive 6 mile on way to find a nice place. Got back and went to get ice, there was none, the unit was broken and there is only one machine! Went back out to get ice! The breakfast menu is A apple and oatmeal ! I never stayed at a motel with this type of food. There was always eggs, sausage etc! Not here!

"2021 Thanksgiving Travel"

Our stay at this SureStay Hotel was a "spur of the moment" decision during our 2021 Thanksgiving travel and was our first stay at a SureStay Hotel. The hotel is convenient to I-65, and our room was clean and well-maintained. The only "amenity" that we used was the internet, and that service worked well. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Our only "complaint" is that we apparently did not receive an AARP discount, which we did not discover until after we had left the property.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Great parking available if you're towing a trailer. Lots of green space around the hotel for my dog to walk in. Room was clean and neat. Good bed and slept well on it. Good shower and heat / air conditioning. Friendly and helpful staff. Give it a try when you're in the area.

"Very nice budget hotel"

Friendly, helpful staff, right off the interstate. Across the street from the corvette museum and within walking distance of fast food restaurants. An easy 5-10 minute drive to downtown. 25 minutes to Mammoth Cave. Our room was clean and appeared to have been remodeled recently. Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot in the room. We were towing a 20 ft trailer. There was a large, well lit parking lot behind the hotel that easily accommodated our truck and trailer. Great deal for a budget hotel. We would definitely stay again.

Got to rpom late. After getting settled. We noticed ghese stains everywhere. Handprints all over headboard. Havent even made it to bathroom yet. Ice maker not working plus, no breakfast as advertised. Horrible.

Right off the highway and located near some fast food. Only about 10 minutes into Bowling Green. Clean room, a/c works great, safe environment and quiet. Would stay here again as the 2 nights we needed worked out great for our location of destination. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows & towels.

This room was of low average quality. Mattress and pillows are worn and uncomfortable. Carpet in rooms is old. Hotel needs updating badly. Breakfast, though advertised, is nearly non-existent, including coffee!! I don't give a covid exemption for lack of advertised services like breakfast and coffee. Find another supplier. Overall cheap price for bottom average room. I've slept in comfortable beds for the same price.

While the hotel could use some updating, the old saying goes...you get what you pay for. Well, in this case, you get more than what you pay for at this location. Very friendly staff, very clean room, comfortable bed. An updated bathroom was very nice to see and use. There is a bid of road noise coming from the highway and the area gas stations, as this hotel has outdoor room entrances. But, that is not a reason to turn from this hotel. I had a small issue in billing but that was quickly taken care of. I will stay here again when I am traveling in the area.

"Excellent Staff and Housekeeping was the best around."

Stayed at SureStay last weekend and found it to be very clean. Housekeeping was excellent, rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. No noise at night. Looks as though work crews were saying long term and enjoyed themselves in the parking lot but was respectful when it came to night time and everything was quiet.

This motel is very good for travelers---Only problem we encountered was the pricing---we have been coming to this motel for over 10 years and the prices have been very good...Now they are going the way of bigger chains i guess and raising there rates when there is a large event int town

Poor at Questions and not friendly, I Checked internet price and got charged twice that amount. When ask why was told it was the week-in. No breakfast was served or even offered. Noise was at a high level, from kids playing at my door and not in a play area for children.

"sketchy place"

Upon check in I was given key to someone else's room. After opening door and seeing their stuff I went back to the front desk and advised them of that. She said "shouldn't be anyone in that room" and gave me a different room. The room i reserved online was a king but received 2 doubles instead. I was bit by something in the bed while sleeping, assume it was bed bugs. Gangs of illegal immigrants were hanging out in the parking lot smoking weed, drinking alcohol and looking for people to rob. Lots of sketchy guys walking around. Breakfast was non existent. Piles of trash everywhere. Ice machine in my building was broken down, hallway was taped off. I was mislead by the earlier positive reviews on here. Im not sure how it could have been so much nicer then. This place should be bulldozed.

I love staying in hotels. This one is meticulously clean, perfectly located, staff sells the place- BUT. It's over a hundred degrees out, there is no pool. I'm hungry in the morning, "breakfast" is gluten heavy. I'd hate this place if not for the awesome staff and perfect location, walking distance from shopping, restaurants and museums. My company is paying. If I was, I wouldn't come here. They need a pool. It's the Southern US. Swimming is popular, even in MN, Canada and Northern WI. Management needs to look into adding a water feature, its too hot to not have one.

We have attended ALL National Hot-Rod Reunions at beautiful Beech Bend Park and normally stay at Smiths Grove. We decided to try a different motel for this trip and we found a good one. The SureStay Best Western North Bowling Green was awesome in every category. From check in to check out and everything in between, our stay was great. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, well equipped and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were unclean, noise was terrible, seemed like a shady neighborhood with lots of late night activity. We had stains all over the carpet, shower seemed like it wasn't cleaned at all...there was literally a dried booger on our shower curtain.

"Horrible room conditions"

1. AC unit air filters completely packed full of dust and dirt. 2. Bathroom sink does not drain. 3. Broken arm on sitting chair. 4. Multiple stains on wall next refrigerator. When informed or rooms conditions, front desk staff said "sorry" and nothing else was said. No masks on staff even with BW covid 19 rules posted. Not good!

First the the positive: Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. She made us feel welcome and gave us extra coffee for our room Now the negative: 1. Room smelled stale 2. Hair was found between the sheets when we pulled the covers back and the sheets did not appear to be fresh 3. When the tub faucet was turned on, what appeared to be newly hatched roaches scattered out from behind the faucet 4. Water temp was scalding - above 140 degrees and had the potential to give 3rd degree burns 5. We left our room at 11:30 am, leaving a tag for room service to clean our room. They never showed up 6. Since our room had not been serviced, we went to the office to pick up additional coffee and the office was locked up. It was 10:30 pm 7. No sheer curtains on the window. Only blackout curtains.

The staff at the front office was very nice. Located at a good area where you may find pretty much everything you need. I like that the cable service in the room had many channels to watch. Good option, and would consider coming back!

Hotel property and the room itself were very clean. My only complaint is that none of the ice machines at the property were working. We had to go buy our own ice. Other than that, I was completely satisfied. Would definitely stay here again. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel would highly recommend--they provided a bagged breakfast for us while other hotels aren't providing any breakfast due to COVID. The breakfast was fresh and wrapped. The hotel thought of everyone even the dogs. We had my service dog with me; however, she didn't need to be a service dog the hotel is pet-friendly and offers an enclosed area between the rooms where the dogs can walk without the fear of being hit by a car or having to cross a road. The price of the room was very reasonable. We book a single double bed pet friendly non-smoking for $39.00; and because they didn't have one available we were upgraded to two double beds on the third floor at no additional charge. The staff was wonderful and the amenities in the room were wonderful. A+++++

Upon check-in on 12-15-20, I was told that my reservation was for the 29th. I booked for the 15th and was told that at least three other people had all been experiencing the same thing. Maybe a glitch in their system, I do not know, but the management helped me with a booking for that night. The room was very clean and the staff ENTIRE staff including the Manager were very cordial. I would recommend this hotel to anyone just for their professionalism. I would stay here again. PS In this age of COVID-19, it was a classy touch to give us a brown bag breakfast!

Internet in my room was rather slow, but the room was very clean and quiet and the hotel location was excellent. The last night the lock malfunctioned and I could not get into my room. The lovely young desk clerk worked long and hard in the cold, and with the assistance of another guest who had some tools, was able to get a cover removed so that she could use her master key to open the door and let me in. Other than these two issues, my stay was quite pleasant, the price was excellent, and I will certainly stay there again next time I'm in Bowling Green.

I chose this because of its proximity to the National Corvette Museum and was very pleased. The rooms are clean and fixtures and furniture appear to be new. Everything worked perfectly. It is much nicer on the inside than one might expect by its exterior appearance. The service was exceptional. Covid-19 precautions were evident. Amazing value for the money.

I'm a over the road trucker. My truck went down in Bowling Green, the truck shop recommended this Surestay. This motel was great, they allowed me to check in early, the room was very clean & their was a wide variety of channels on their cable package. Hopefully I'm not broke down anytime soon, but if I'm in the area, I'll be staying here.

What a great little hotel. I've had to stay at a whole lot of hotels during this whole covid disaster and I can honestly say that this was the cleanest hotel room I visited since this all began back in whenever...I'm Marriott Platinum elite and this little place was cleaner and felt safer than any of the probably 10 or so hotels I've stayed at in the last 6 months. This was a pleasant surprise on my trip from Chicago to Florida. I'm in the process of moving myself and my dog down to Florida and when my eyes were getting too tired to go any further late at night I decided stop in bowling Green and stay here based on the positive reviews and the affordable price as well as it being pet friendly. When I checked in at about 2:00 in the morning the front desk gentleman was super pleasant, very helpful, I'm very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked into the room because it was extremely clean. Everything in the room was perfectly in its place from the hotel info sheet,remote,and even the shampoo. Anyone can make a bed but I feel that you can really tell how clean the place is when you look a little beyond that into some of the corners,and this place didn't miss a speck. The heat and AC unit was very quiet and the that was quite comfortable, much better than I anticipated. Upon checkout, the general manager made the experience even better with his wonderful demeanor and friendly welcoming personality. Definitely would highly recommend.

"Probably got what I paid for"

Needed a room to stay in on the drive up from Florida. Had 2 rooms side by side that were supposed to be non-smoking. One was fine, but the room I stayed in reeked of smoke. Spoke to the manager about this as well as the noise out in the parking lot coming from some young adults hanging out in the parking lot partying. Was told he couldn't move me due to the hotel being full. Claims that housekeeping tries to sanitize and deordorize each time. Not buying it. There was no way this is the first or only time someone smoked in that room. And he also said the noise should stop by 10 given a noise ordinance. At 11:15 pm I had to call the front desk as it was still continuing. They were very pleasant and tried to be helpful. However they still chose to rent to young adults to party at their establishment.

The SureStay is a new addition to the Best Western lineup. Previously this location was called America's Best Value Inn. Having traveled the country enough times, this location has convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance as well as the Corvette Museum and a few other local attractions nearby. Great place to stay during any of the car gatherings such as LSFest, Import Alliance, and Corvette meet ups.

This was a great place to stay! The staff was very helpful, friendly and delightful. The room was very clean and exactly what we needed for our overnight stay. We actually booked a double bed and the front desk clerk upgraded us to a king due to a cancellation without charging us additional. They are coping with the COVID dilemma and it was not unbearable. I recommend this hotel and will be sure to stay here again the next time we are in the area.

This was our first visit to Bowling Green and to the Corvette Museum. This motel was advertised as recently remodeled and under new management. The clerk, Maggie, was outstanding - as the person who checked us in. Friendly, southern hospitality and sanitary. The queen bed was comfortable and the room clean. There were 3 pillows on a queen bed for two people, which aren't enough. But, after asking for another pillow, we got one from the friendly manager. The only complaint is that the metal door plate where the lock is on the inside of the door was filthy. It appeared to have not been cleaned in a long time. We brought wipes with us and were able to immediately wipe it down and anything else we thought might qualify. It's the attention to details like four pillows on a queen bed and door handles and light switches being cleaned that are so important especially nowadays. While the motel is close to the museum, there are two abandoned buildings next to it . Not the motel's fault, but left us wondering how safe we were. There also weren't any hangers for clothing. We had to drape our clothes over the door. We didn't have any problems in our two night stay despite a lot of activity in the parking lot. In hindsight, despite the closeness to the museum, we discovered numerous restaurants and higher end hotels just five miles down the highway - ten minute drive - away, where we'd likely stay again.

I visited SureStay on 10/12 on a whim. I am a Marriott platinum rewards member due to business travel, but I needed a hotel that would accommodate my yorkie at a fair rate with a nearby open door type of hotel courtyard and quiet setting. Major plus, right next to I-65 & Starbucks. The hotel wasn't perfect, but it fulfilled what I needed for the time being. Staff was very attentive and pleasant.

Just got home from staying here for 4 nights with my young son and grandmother. Good location in the middle of lots of attractions, the corvette museum is right across the street, and the many caverns are within a 20 to 30 min drive. The hotel was clean and newly remodeled. There was no continental breakfast but they did pack individual go breakfasts at the front desk to pick up . It was a great stay,and I would stay here again!

My husband and I have spent many days and nights at many hotels in my life as a former athlete. We are very satisfied of the quality of service we receive from ALL the staff here at this hotel. Personally, I felt like I was at home. The hotel is clean and very accommodating. Having a mom who was a former hotel Executive Housekeeping supervisor with Sheraton and Holiday Inn for over 30yrs, I am usually picky where I staybecause of her guidance with standards. But, I must say, Tariq and his team are wonderful. Anytime we return to Bowling Green, we will continue to stay at this hotel because of the good service and prices. So, if you ever come to Bowling Green check in at this Surestay!

I spent 9 days here over 2 different weeks and was very pleased with the rooms, the customer service and the overall value. This was previously an America's Best Value Inn which I rarely stay at but they have recently rebranded under the Best Western Sure Stay franchise and the hotel has been completely renovated. Practically everything was brand new in the rooms and even though it wasn't super luxurious, it was still nevertheless very comfortable & clean. I had interactions with several of the employees including GM Tariq plus Nick, Maggie and one additional young lady and they were all very courteous, professional & helpful. I think the hotel is owned by an older Asian Indian couple and they were always busy working around the hotel and smiling too. This hotel is right off exit 28 which is 6 miles north of the busy commercial Scottsville Rd exit 22 but it still had several restaurants within both walking distance and also within 1.5 miles. Plus it's only about 4 miles to downtown Bowling Green and the WKU campus. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel especially with regards to the overall value. I definitely will come back and stay again the next time I'm in town on business.

General Manager is friendly and professional. Very dedicated to making the place a great place to stay. Staff is awesome as well. Very knowledgeable and competent. Customer Service is excellent and Housekeeping is extremely hard working and kind. My expectations for Customer Service is high because I've worked in Customer Service for years and I'm glad good Customer Service still exists, especially during a pandemic.

We came here with our dogs as a first stop on our roadtrip and they are simply wonderful. The room was a lot nicer than what I was anticipating given the low price and it was quiet, clean and conveniently located! What a wonderful find! My husband and I traveling through and found this gem. Newly remodeled it is a clean and friendly hotel. The price was right also. If ever back in this area will be certain to stay here again.

Stayed for three nights to attend a local event. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the room. Even the grounds were very well maintained. The staff could not have been nicer! Our room was missing a list of TV channels - we asked for one at the front desk and it was delivered -timely - as promised. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and plan on making it our stop when we travel back through the Bowling Green area.

Just a quick night on our trip home but we could've stayed for days! New exterior & interior in a comfy sophisticated style! New management! Super clean, super friendly & fresh! Right across the street from Corvette museum! Even their covid-19 breakfast bag was a step up!

We stayed for 4 nights for family court and we loved it! The manager TarIQ was very helpful and understanding. The front desk staff Alessia and Nick were very nice and comforting as well as all staff were on top of things didnt have to ask for anything! I'd suggest staying here the rooms were clean and smelled good we even stayed in a room that was a dog approved room and you couldn't tell any other dogs were in there before. Id give it a 10 out of 10.

While this place is listed as a hotel, the rooms are accessed from the outside. I was given a ground floor room as requested. The front desk staff, both checking in & out, were helpful & friendly. The only thing of concern was the bathtub. It was rather slippery when entering to take a shower. It appears that it used to have those decals put on the bottom to make it less slippery, but they were no longer there. Recommended to front desk they consider installing a handle on the shower wall & the front desk appreciated it.

The room was clean and everyone was super friendly. Tiffany got me checked in quickly and explained checkout time faucets and breakfast. More info then i ever get from anyone at a hotel. Will be back.

The room is clean, pillows very comfortable & the help desk friendly and professional. Breakfast was simple and delicious, massive parking lot also can be fitted for 18 wheelers. Highly recommended hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. The girl at the front desk was very friendly. Stayed for one night and friendly staff. Close to the Corvette Museum. Continental breakfast, good coffee. Would recommend staying.

"Good for the price"

Our son os a student at Western Kentucky University and we stayed here for family weekend. Checkin was easy and fast, staff was friendly. The room was very clean, beds are a little on the firm side but were fine. Bathrooms are small and shower water pressure isnt the best but overall the stay was very nice. The property is right off the interstate and there is a gas station across the street as well as a McDonalds and Wendy's, a Hardees is on the same side of the street as the property all within walking distance if so choose. It is very basic but I wasnt expecting anything more. Was quiet just heard people exiting their cars when arriving is all considering parking was right in front of the room Stayed in a downstairs room and didnt hear much above us I would recommend staying here if visiting the area or just needing a place to stay on the way thru the area.

Very clean. Room had fridge, coffee machine. Quiet. Off the beaten track. Not near the downtown core. The closest to the corvette museum. Staff very friendly. Simple breakfast,coffee, toast, muffins , banana and apple.

"Incompetent Staff"

While traveling in a group of 3 motorcycles, we were caught in a very strong storm and had to pull off the highway at around 10pm. We found this place, stopped in and reserved a couple rooms, and asked if we could park our motorcycles on the sidewalk outside our rooms, under the patios on the second floor, but away from any doors...to which the front desk clerk said no problem. Though the rooms smelled musty, we went to bed around 1100 because we had a 0300 wake up to make our destination. At 0130, the super-loud phone startled me and it was the manager calling to say that we must move the motorcycles, claiming they created a “safety issue”. When we went outside to see what was going on, the manager was there and I asked what the issue was and she said that if there was a tornado, they might prevent guests from exiting safely. (1. Nobody should go outside during a tornado; 2. Moving bikes from being BETWEEN doors, into parking spaces 3 feet directly IN FRONT OF the door, makes exiting the rooms in an emergency LESS SAFE). When we were getting ready to leave (after I couldn't get back to sleep because of the commotion), I told the manager how what she said didn't make sense, so she then said that it violates their parking policy. I asked if I could see their parking or safety policy, she said she didn't have it there. I asked where she might keep that hotel's local policy, if not on-site, and she didn't have an answer. When we were leaving, after the interruption during an already-short night, I asked her if the clerk told her that she gave us specific authorization to park on the sidewalk, between rooms - to which she said no. I asked if there was anything she could do or give some kind of discount for DISABLING our ability to get a reasonably disruption-free night's sleep, resulting specifically from her staff telling us to park there, and her creating an illogical “safety issue” per a policy she couldn't produce. Again there was just “nothing we can do”. What a joke of customer service!! Highly recommend you avoid this place and their incompetent staff.
