"Excellent stay!"
sandro725, 05 Octobre 2018

Very nice hotel extremely close to the seafront with friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner in a lovely dining room. Quiet and clean room (as requested) with very comfortable bed on the top floor. I will certainly stay at the Beachcroft hotel again!

"Disappointing venue"
Wendy F, 02 Octobre 2018

Cream tea was just acceptable. We were the only 5 people in the large room. No atmosphere or ambience. No members of staff in attendance throughout our time there. Once our tea had been put on the table that was the last we saw of them. Had to go to main reception to settle the bill. Wouldn't visit again.

"Luis at the bar was great!"
avelian2018, 01 Octobre 2018

Luis at the bar was amazing! He was so friendly and nice! We had a great time hanging out with him and having a drink! He made sure we were well taken care of and enjoyed our stay! Recommend giving him a visit!

"Saturday night meal for four."
Martin P, 01 Octobre 2018

Enjoyed an excellent meal for a party of four last Saturday night. Although there was a private party taking place, we were well looked after in the Bistro eating area. The young waitress was very attentive and nothing was too much for her to handle. She was on the move constantly, checking everything was alright. Refreshing to see a young person with such a professional work ethic. She certainly deserves a pay rise.

"Wonderful fresh seafood in a lovely dining room!"
Relax665186, 29 Septembre 2018

After a testing couple of days as a trainee teacher I decided to treat myself to dinner out. I am a mature student at The University of Chichester and after some research found The Beachcroft Hotel's restaurant which seemed (and proved!) to be the best restaurant in the area. Rang up, prompt response and with no fuss booked a table for 7pm on a Thursday evening. Greeted warmly by a gentleman who turned out to be the Hotel's deputy manager, Lucas. Happy to be seated at a table quietly situated at one end of the lovely dining room. Glass of decent Pinot Grigio and had time to relax, digest the trials of my day and, eventually, look at the menu. I was a bit testy but was given space and time as a solo diner to take my time. My waiter, Chris, lifted my spirits further with a winning smile and an endearing chuckling nature! It takes a lot to lift me out of the sometimes impenetrable introspective mood I fall into after a hard day's teaching, but Chris did this with casual ease. I am a savoury man (!) and ordered the smoked halibut starter, the sea bass main but declined the offer of dessert. Both were spot on. The halibut was light and fresh - I will say that you do need a little bread with this - but perfect on an Indian summer evening. The sea bass was great; perfectly cooked and great with the accompanying greens. Spent an enjoyable hour or so, serene room, attentive but not intrusive service. Left refreshed. I can heartily recommend this restaurant. If I didn't live so close by, I'd look into staying in the hotel as well! Thank you.

"Cream tea with friends"
Terri F, 18 Septembre 2018

I arranged to meet up with friends for afternoon tea and and was so disappointed and embarrassed. We were the only people in the place so there was no atmosphere at all, however I could have put up with that. The tea itself was a big let down. The finger sandwiches were more like thick navvy sandwiches not even all the crusts were off. The scones were not homemade neither were the cakes! The only thing I can say is the price was about right for what we got! Good job it wasn't more or I would have refused to pay. P.s why did we not have any butter I mean butter not what was on the sandwiches, all in all a big No No!!

"A PEACEFUL OASIS."
Dennis M, 18 Septembre 2018

We have just got home after spending 4 nights at the Beachcroft Hotel and we were impressed with the high standards there. The team at reception are excellent Jan, Phil & Kersten were very helpful & friendly. The bar staff that's Chris & Ellie were most helpful & efficient. The jewel in the crown of the hotel is the restaurant manage Joe, he is like a human dynamo constantly taking orders serving meals & attending to all the guests needs. Unfortunately as I am a follower of my beloved Millwall FC I I don't share Joes love of West ham United !!!! ( mind you he did cheer up when they got their first points of the season by beating Everton whilst we were there ). The hotel is situated in a lovely area. The rooms are perfect and housekeeping is excellent. My wife & I were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary on this break & we were pleased that we chose this particular hotel Our stay was made even more enjoyable by our fellow guests particularly a lovely lady from the USA via Canada, her name was Lindsey , a really lovely person who helped make our stay even more fun. I cannot fault this hotel & would advise anyone who is thinking of going to this area to try the Beachcroft , you will not be disappointed. The food is all top class as are the chefs. Thank you all for a superb experience. " WE SHALL BE BACK".

"Two night stay "
ANGELA S, 11 Septembre 2018

Had a very pleasant two night stay at the hotel. Rooms are large and have fabulous sea views. To be able to sleep at night with the sound of the waves in your ears is my idea of heaven. The bed was large and comfy and there was a good shower. Breakfast was excellent, with a lot of choice and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection. We also had dinner in the hotel on one night and it was great that the hotel catered for all needs. They were happy to provide just a sandwich for my husband while I had a roast dinner. Other hotels should take note. House keeping could pay more attention to detail but this is a minor issue. We look forward to a return visit and are happy to recommend.

"Family lunch delighted by Luis"
Stefania F, 28 Août 2018

We advise you to stop and eat in this restaurant where, besides enjoying delicious English specialties, you will be welcomed in a very warm and accurate manner. A special thanks to Luis who gave added value to lunch Grazie ancora a Luis per la bella chiacchierata e per averci fatto sentire a casa

"Comfortable"
kellyjHalifax, 28 Août 2018

A comfortable and clean hotel .zgood breakfast . Very near the quieter end of the beach . Many good restaurants and pubs in the village about 7 mins walk from hotel .Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice

"Perfect all rounder"
afluffycloud, 23 Août 2018

Comfortable, clean, friendly. As soon as we arrived (an hour early) the impression was positive. The front desk staff advised us of facilities in the local area and that our room would be ready soon. The room was clean, comfortable and just right for me, my 4 Yr old and 14 Yr old. The pool was very warm and clean. The beds were comfy and not sagging. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and tasty. Staff in the dining room were friendly, smiling and helpful. All in all a great hotel for us. The proprietors should be very proud of their team.

"Good sea side hotel"
GS1706, 18 Août 2018

Friendly staff and reasonable accommodation right by the sea with good promenade walks very close by. Small ish pool indoors lounge areas poor. Tipical hotel expensive food and bar (both very quiet of course) and the breakfast was good apart from frozen fruit of the Forrest. Not much nearby of any quality do not go to thr Fox Inn see separate report. Joe was very helpful.

"Lovely Little Gem"
Mike K, 17 Août 2018

We visited this hotel as a family of four, first time visit and won't be our last. From the welcome at reception to the fantastic food and staff we couldn't recommend this hotel more. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable along with a great location on the seafront which is perfect for families. Breakfast was fantastic, the only downside is we have only just found this hotel now and not a few years ago. Look forward to returning.

"A Seaside gem"
Mezzodiva67, 14 Août 2018

I have just returned from a lovely lunch at Beachcroft Hotel which today was bathed in sunshine. They have made the most of their outside space and views of the sea were stunning. Al fresco lunch was excellent and Ellie who served us was professional and polite.

"Hidden Gem"
Margaret M, 13 Août 2018

Old fashioned seaside hotel in many ways. No lifts or inside lounge but don't be put off. Rooms are clean, beds big and comfy, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an outside terrace overlooking the promenade and sea with ample parking front and rear. However, the piece de resistance, without doubt, is the food. Breakfast has plenty of choices and is cooked to order. The menu for dinner does not give any idea of how tasty, well presented and delicious is the food. This chef could work in a much more expensive venue but couldn't produce any better meals. If you stay at the hotel, do eat in at least one evening and you will probably want to eat in again.

"Delicious dinner!"
Janey10_5, 10 Août 2018

My friend and I visited the Beachcroft hotel this evening for steak night. We were greeted by Lucas the restaurant manager who was very friendly and attentive, we noticed a couple having dinner with their dog at their feet which we thought was lovely! This is obviously a dog friendly hotel. Dinner was delicious I had home-made tomato soup with speciality bread and butter, and we both had a steak which was lovely. Staff were all attentive and friendly and we really enjoyed our evening. If I was asked to be picky the only comment I would make is that I think music would have just made the atmosphere a little better. It was very quiet without music and you could hear people talking and the clinking of cutlery and plates only! I highly recommend this little gem of a hotel, compliments to the chef!

"Restaurant"
Elizabeth G, 08 Août 2018

I lunch here once a month & it's always very good. However, today we had just about the best service ever from waiter, Dominic. He was constantly observant of our tables & brought more bread, water, butter etc. even before we needed to ask for it, besides having a very pleasant manner. Well done!

"Great location!!"
Sheila E, 07 Août 2018

This hotel is tucked away in the corner but in a great location by the sea,,stayed on an a DBB basis and cannot fault the choice and standard of food,,staff were friendly and great too,,only downside was ground floor room-we heard every movement from the couple upstairs!,room was adequate with en suite facilities, tea & coffees which was refilled every day,,parking is at front and there's an overspill at the rear,,village is peaceful with a few restaurants and pubs as well and occasional small supermarket,,there is a retail park tho a couple of miles away if you need anything! Would definitely stay here again ????

"Weekend Break"
Nigel C, 01 Août 2018

Dog friendly hotel next to beach, the rooms are fairly small but adequate although they could do with better soundproofing between rooms.. Reception was a little laid back but friendly. The parking is a little random, main car park at front with overspill at back. Food is of reasonable quality and the staff are friendly. Small swimming pool OK if not being used by families, not sutable for ardent swimmers. We selleted this hotel as you can dine with your dog, as it was this didn't happen as they had functions on and there was insufficient room for function and residents.

"Afternoon tea by the sea!"
AliLeeSamDaniel, 29 Juillet 2018

We live locally and came here to try out the afternoon tea. It was served in the lovely beachside garden and was delicious! Ham, smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches served with scones and an array of cakes. The staff were extremely attentive and we really felt like we were on holiday. I can't wait to try out the pod when the weather isn't so nice!

"Relaxing break by the sea"
wrenfamily2018, 23 Juillet 2018

Lovely hotel, comfortable room with ensuite. Great breakfast choices. Right on the beech front with lovely views and doorstep access to the promenade. Small but lovely garden to sit in and seating area to view the prom and sea.

"Very friendly staff"
RSAdey, 22 Juillet 2018

Stayed here on Saturday with my family in the penthouse suite and we weren't disappointed. The room was clean and tidy and very spacious. It was a lovely sunny day and that helped make the view from the balcony even better. All the staff were very pleasant but I must mention a youg member of staff who was behind the bar in the evening till very late and then in the restaurant in the morning for breakfast. I would like to thank Ellie for making our stay a pleasant one. We will definitely stay here again and the extra money on the penthouse is well worth it.

"Amazing "
Gary B, 18 Juillet 2018

Wow what an amazing time i had everything was great the staff was very help full the room was really lovely comfortable clean and it had a lovely patio outside i used the pool while i was there and it was like getting in a warm bath.once you are in there you just dont want to get out.the hotel itself was very clean and tidy i would recommend to everyone and im going to stay there again soon

"Short Break 2018"
Diane T, 11 Juillet 2018

I booked this hotel for it's close proximity to Brighton. We needed a break for health reasons, somewhere quiet, beach croft is certainly that.Old but clean. Room was well appointed with a small courtyard. Bathroom a little tired but all was very clean and comfortable.Staff went over and above in particular Kerry on reception.

"A sensible and pleasant hotel ideal for purpose"
Stephen B, 10 Juillet 2018

The hotel is exactly as described. In an ideal position to the sea and conveniently located. The staff are friendly and helpful. If passing that way again I would revisit. It is not a luxury hotel, but the rooms are fine, good view and the bathroom modern with a plentiful supply of hot water

"Wonderful location and facilities"
Bryan D, 09 Juillet 2018

We had a great stay at the hotel on a quick overnight getaway from London. The staff is very attentive and friendly and after a few days in London, it was wonderful to step away from the hustle and bustle. We loved the architecture and quaintness of the town. Definitely in our plans to return.

"Very happy to recommend"
GJW6, 06 Juillet 2018

We held our wedding reception here at the end of June and could not have chosen a better venue. All 22 guests who stayed here thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Kerrie was a brilliant wedding co-ordinator whilst Lucas and his catering team provided excellent meals and first rate service. Staff were organised, efficient at all levels and always cheerful. Our room overlooked the beach and was clean and well presented. The location is stunning (particularly when sunny). I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Beachcroft for a stay, a family gathering, a party or just simply a high quality meal if passing by.

"Perfect"
Robert T, 06 Juillet 2018

A lovely hotel virtually on the beach, Really welcoming, most helpful staff, from the top to the bottom, we were really spoilt. Intending to return as soon as there's a space in our calendar Thank you all.

"Only used the restaurant"
Deepdiver2011, 05 Juillet 2018

Had as great steak dinner including a bottle of wine for two at a cost of £37.50 well worth a visit if your in the area. We went with friends who had been the week before it was the quality and service.

"Great stay"
Wallbarber, 04 Juillet 2018

Stayed in the hotel for two nights midweek and enjoyed the whole experience. Firstly I must praise Kerrie and the whole team for making us feel so welcome and the service they provided was second to none. The room which was sea facing had all you could need for your stay and what a view as the hotel is a stones throw from the beach. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and the food was very good and the service given was even better. Would I recommend this hotel , yes without doubt. We will return.

"Great hotel, right on the beach."
Wendy Ann J, 03 Juillet 2018

Stayed with my cousin in a lovely twin bedded ground floor room, with it's own courtyard. Great to sit out there, at a table and chairs, or the bench. Jan the receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast was delightful, with a big variety and the bistro restaurant in the evening was most welcome. The service was impeccable and young 18 year old Jack, our waiter, was both personable and efficient. We would highly recommend this hotel.

"Great service"
Brian G, 22 Juin 2018

After booking I realised that the hotel did not have a lift. As I haven't got very good mobility I phoned the hotel and spoke to a lovely lady named Jan. She told me we were booked into a second floor room but she would phone back if she could change it for me. She phoned back shortly after and said she had got us one on the first floor. When we arrived for our stay we found that we had a lovely room with sea view. During our four night stay all the staff were very friendly and helpful and all the food was very tasty and beautifully presented.

"Golf trip"
Graham H, 20 Juin 2018

Me and 15 of my friends stayed here for 3 nights. Service, food and rooms excellent. Friendly staff who made you feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again. Well done.

"Recommend!"

Visited March 2017. We loved our stay here. Beach views, lovely rooms, great space rooms also. Huge comfy bed. Very clean. Food was also nice. We had the pool to ourselves at one point too. Short walk into the town. Great location. Overall fantastic holiday.

"Golf trip"
4johnnyo, 15 Juin 2018

Stayed at the Beachcroft last week as the base for our golf trip. Excellent position, right on the beach. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Good restaurant, menu choices and food quality. Great vfm. Would stay again.

"Golf break"
John N, 13 Juin 2018

I booked this hotel for 16 guys to attend a golf competition. The service, the food, the desire to meet all our needs was beyond anything one could expect. All the staff from Kerry the manager to the waitresses etc went out of their way to accommodate our every need. I can honestly not talk highly enough about the whole experience. The food was fantastic also. Brilliant.

"High Price-Low Sleep Quality"
Keithw532, 12 Juin 2018

I stayed here 1 night for a business trip; I booked with confidence thinking that the Best Western brand always offered a good quality hotel. I'm sad to report that I was very disappointed with my stay and feel that this hotel nowhere near lived up to either its pricing or the Best Western reputation. There were some positives, the cleanliness of the room can't faulted, the bed was comfortable and the hotel is right next to the beach. But I'm afraid that there were many negatives, the room was very old fashioned looking like something from a 70's movie and clearly needed updating. The room was also very noisy, with noise coming from outside, the hallway, the next room and a strange very loud mechanical rumbling sound that started up every few mins. When I booked this hotel was clearly advertised as having a separate shower and bathtub in all rooms, after a very early start to my day I was so looking forwards to a long soak in a bath but very disappointed to find none. This room also did not come with curtains instead having a blind that let the light through, this meaning my room with bathed in strong sunlight from 4.30am in the morning making further sleep impossible. I was looking forwards to relaxing and a long sleep in a quality hotel room after a long business day. But this was just not the case with my sleep interrupted many times and impossible after 4.30am. I'm disappointed at being let down by a brand I trusted and would find it difficult to recommend this hotel at the premium price they charge

"Very pleasant stay"
Jill R, 03 Juin 2018

We stayed for 3 nights. Our ground floor room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Our bathroom was small but adequate. Car parking adequate at front of hotel. Breakfast very good. Well served and freshly cooked to order. Evening meal also very good but we found it a little pricey. Hotel was a few yards from promenade where you could take a pleasant walk to the village and further. Only 10 minute walk into Bognor the opposite way. Appearance of hotel a .little disappointing when we arrived but would recommend a stay here.

"Lovely hotel"
kwc736, 01 Juin 2018

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the hotel with my wife and 2 sons (7 and 2). It really is a lovely hotel and in a great location right on the beach, unfortunately the weather wasn't great (not the hotels fault!) but we still went on the beach a bit and if the sun had been out it would of been great. We used the hotel as a base as we went to Butlins for a couple of days but didn't want to stay there and we are so glad we did, the hotel is literally a couple of minutes away so a great location. The room we had was nice and had a separate room for the boys off of it with bunk beds which they liked and was nice for them and us to have our own space. The staff were all really good, friendly and attentive and couldn't do more for you. The breakfast was very good and again the service brilliant, we ate at the hotel one night and my only negative would be that the menu could have a bit more on it, saying that, what we ordered was nice so no complaints about the food we ate. We will definitely be returning to the hotel in the future and really can't rate it high enough for the cost and service provided.

"Wonderfully relaxing stay catering for every need"
Kayleigh B, 29 Mai 2018

My partner and I visited the Beachcroft Hotel for a weekend away. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and accommodated. Geoff on reception couldn't do enough for us and was very informative on the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant on the first night; both food and service were excellent. Breakfast offered an extensive range of options including a freshly cooked breakfast of our choice. Service from the restaurant team was once again exemplary and food delicious. Joe was very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is excellent meaning that we could walk off our food along the beach just a car park distance from the hotel's front door! Thank you Beachcroft for such a wonderful break :)

"1 day stay"
david g, 28 Mai 2018

Stayed one night with my granddaughter, room was clean as was the bathroom although not huge the room was adequate with a good view of the beach, good breakfast, friendly staff. on the night I stayed they had a function in the restaurant and parking was difficult.

"Jazz helped the waiting go by."
Graham K, 28 Mai 2018

Having eaten at this venue several times I and my party of 3 others were very disappointed at the level of service. Arriving at 12;50 for a 13:00 lunch booking accompanied by a jazz combo. Sometime later we ordered a bottle of white wine (on this occasion it was chilled) some 10 minutes later we were able to place our food order - Roast of the Day. Many minutes later the meals arrived along with a small portion of vegetables which was just about enough for 2/3 diners, (more vegetables were requested and a small bowl of peas arrived). The meals were OK but after completion there was yet another long wait for the plates to be removed and we able place our dessert order. Now the real waiting started. About 30 minutes later we chased the dessert order only to hear more apologies with some vague excuse for the delay (seemed several tables were upset at the delays). The desserts finally arrived with more apologies and we requested the bill to avoid any more delays. Being contentious people we did not get up and walk out as had been discussed. There was a 10% reduction of the bill but this didn't really compensate for a simple lunch that ended up taking 2 hours an 20 minutes by the time we left at 15:10. Think we will give the jazz a miss!!

"Lovely hotel"
rylanallcock, 24 Mai 2018

Stayed here for one night with my wife, son and his girlfriend. Check in and out was very good. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfy. Breakfast was a good quality full English served by courteous staff. Location of the hotel is really good, right on the sea front, ideal for exploring Bognor Regis which is only a short walk away. Would love to come back here one day .

"Comfortable inexpensive hotel with friendly staff and decent food"
petercross56, 18 Mai 2018

The hotel is typical of the chain but nonetheless was comfortable, with friendly staff and reasonably priced. The dinner and breakfast were perfectly satisfactory. The sea view was lovely. We had salmon, steak and lamb.

"Lovely Break"
lale1996, 14 Mai 2018

Very nice hotel, just a short walk into Bognor Town - right on the beach - very good breakfast - small buffet selection and then you ordered your hot breakfast - nice swimming pool which was very clean.

"Annoyed"
Colin D, 12 Mai 2018

Booked hotel through booking.com which described Hotel as Pet Friendly. After a 2 1/2 hour drive arrived and there was no spaces in the car park. This again was described on website but didn't explain spaces is limited. Eventually found a space a couple of roads away. When I tried to book in with my dog I was informed I hadn't booked a dog room. I informed the receptionist that there wasn't an option for that and she replied I should of rang the hotel direct. I was confused why they used a booking agent that offers something they can't give. She replied that booing.com are not very good. Not sure why they use this agent then. Left with no where to stay so had to drive home. Very poor of the hotel and the booking agent. Looked a nice hotel but very disappointed that they advertise something that isn't available.

"Relaxing weekend"
nicky B, 12 Mai 2018

We stayed over the bank holiday and the weather was glorious we spent most of the time relaxing around the hotel which was relaxing, having cream teas and swimming in the pool. The food was great, we spent two days in the hotel and would recommend the hotel as a great venue for relaxing and getting away from it all.

"Afternoon Tea"
TaxiRuss, 11 Mai 2018

Came for Afternoon Tea today Friday 11th May with a large group of ladies £12.50 per head - had 5 finger sandwiches and a scone - where were the cakes ? ! Come on Beachcroft if you want to compete in this market of afternoon tea you desperately need to up your game ! And Luke warm tea served from a large thermos !

"Fantastic Hotel"
Christine W, 07 Mai 2018

We visited twice in April 2018 and both times we had a lovely time. We were able to do the walks we like to Littlehampton and Pagham. A look around each place then the bus back. There is convenient parking. Reception staff are excellent, Kerrie, Kirsten, Jan and Geoff as are the restaurant staff, Lukas, Joe, Luis, Ellie, Perry, and of course the chef Tony and his team in the kitchen making such delicious food. The room was lovely, brilliant sea view kept clean by Shelley and her team. You can walk along the promenade to Bognor enjoy the sea and views. Takes about 15 - 20 mins to the centre of Bognor. Buses are convenient from the hotel. 600 to Bognor to Pagham. 700 to Chichester one way (West) and 700 to Littlehampton (East). Can't wait to visit again. Thanks Phil.

"What a great hotel"
katie1b, 29 Avril 2018

We stayed here for the weekend, the rooms are clean and very well equipped. The pool is lovely and towels supplied. The food is extremely good, both dinner and breakfast very fresh and well presented. Staff are very attentive and professional. Right on the beachfront, sea views from the room and a wonderful pod to sit in with a glass of wine while the sun goes down! Would recommend to anyone! Keep up the good work, we will be back!

"Felpham not Bognor"
malcolmethomas, 28 Avril 2018

Excellent basic good value hotel. Very comfortable and in a good position for walks along a simple uncluttered prom. Good pubs in the village and The Lobster Pot almost next door is an excellent all day cafe and evening sea food restaurant.

"Steak and wine night at The Beachcroft Hotel"
Bognorlady75, 27 Avril 2018

Tonight a friend and I tried out the Steak Night offer we had seen on The Beachcrofts Twitter page... Steak for 2, with wine for £35. The hotel it self seemed quite welcoming with nice planters etc by the entrance. We were greeted at the dining room by a polite, well presented young man who took us to our table. We were asked if we would like red or white wine and water was given too ( which could have been chilled) also we had some bread. We had two type of bread- an onion bread which was devine and sun dried tomato I think. Our steak dinners arrived promptly and were cooked to how we had asked and looked fabulous, accompanied by chips, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. We had a peppercorn and dianne sauce as sides... The dianne sauce was our favourite and is a must if you go. The wine was lovely and came recommended by the waiter, although it was only House wine we both really enjoyed it. The only down side I'd say was the dining room lacked a bit of atmosphere.. But maybe on a more busier night that may be the case, but the food was what we had gone for which was top notch. We will definitely go back again.

"Excellent hotel in perfect location"
844jojo, 25 Avril 2018

Stayed here for three nights to extend a stay in Felpham. This is a very well run hotel with helpful staff and first class service. Didn't eat here because of meeting up with family in Bognor but have had meals as a non-resident previously. and the food and wine were superb. Would certainly return in the future.

"Fabulous location"
Hussyhemlock, 22 Avril 2018

Fabulous location, right on the sea front. Lovely Hotel, good value for price point. Very helpful staff, especially the lovely lady on the front desk who even gave my father a birthday card on his birthday. Comfortable rooms and very clean, exceptionally good breakfast. Would recommend for both couples & families.

"Always so lovely ! "
Maxine O, 21 Avril 2018

Without a doubt the nicest staff we have ever come across! We have been here a few times and everyone is so accommodating and helpful. My daughter, who is 11, loves that the staff recognise her ! From Kerry in reception (always so lovely!) to Luis in the restaurant, ( makes us feel like nothing is too much trouble - even making sure my daughter gets the food she really wants ! ) I cannot recommend highly enough!

"Dogs Made Welcome"
138NBo, 11 Avril 2018

Have not done many reviews of late, but felt just had to do this report. The Beachcroft Hotel, has to be one the best hotels have come across, the way it looks after dogs as guest is 1st Class. The hotel also looks after is 2 legged guest as well, with good size clean rooms, all meals we had most enjoyable add to this the staff, all we came across most helpful at all times. Shame about the weather, but one cannot have everything.

"Superb visit"
J150505, 11 Avril 2018

Just come back from another superb visit to Beachcroft Hotel. Every time we visit we find that there have been more and more improvements. A security safe has now been installed in every bedroom and a LED tablelamp. Food was excellent as always. We had the delicious Chicken Diane on several occasions and really enjoyed the dark chocolate torte with caramelised orange for afters. Staff are fantastic; extremely helpful and obliging and always friendly and pleasant. The bed in our bedroom was very comfortable, we had good sleeps. The hotel is strategically located on the coastal path which makes it easy to walk to Bognor, Littlehampton, Pagham and other places. It's a brilliant location for walking. Looking forward to our next visit which is already booked!

"Exceeded expectations on all counts, food amazing."
Christian L, 07 Avril 2018

We booked last minute (45mins before arriving) for 2 nights at the end of a few days away on the Sussex Coast. From the second we walked in we were warmly welcomed at the front desk by all staff. Despite the last minute booking we were offered a choice of 2 rooms, both of which we could view before choosing. Rooms clean, comfortable and spacious, with an extra bed for our 4yo son. Every single member of staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. Easy parking, great location on the beach. FOOD INCREDIBLE, we ate both nights in the restaurant. Overall amazing value and cannot recommend enough. Thank you to all the staff for the excellent and friendly service. We have stayed at far more expensive hotels that did not come close.

"Clean & comfortable "
samatha-joe, 04 Avril 2018

Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfasts, great view of sea. (See window view photo below.)Would definitely return. Stairs are narrow and steep. If travelling with disabled person confirm ground floor /easy access room. Easy access ramp to beach. Flat walkway along seafront good for mobility scooter/ wheelchair. I requested disabled room when booking, however on arrival hotel was unaware of this. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Very good value.

"Lovely hotel great location "
Smithallen8276, 04 Avril 2018

Me and my partner stayed here for one night as a quick getaway and we could find no fault. The room was clean spacious and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Kirsten on reception. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel is a lovely location and you can walk for miles along the sea front. Definitely will be returning.

"lovely staff"
rosemarieshaw, 03 Avril 2018

My daughter and I had a great stay here, the staff were lovely and the hotel was comfortable. Right on the beach, great views, quiet rooms and varied breakfast choices. extra croissants went in the oven not long before breakfast ended when we asked for one.

"Stayed for business "
Harrison S, 03 Avril 2018

Couldn't of agreed more with the other reviews ! Awesome hotel ! Comfortable Beds and nice snug room ! Enjoyed my stay with Breakfast included and the view was lush x only thing was the car park if it's full the street it's down is bumper to bumper x but lucky my dad came and we snatched the disabled parking ! Highly recommended and buy stick of rocks too they are nice

"Pleasant "
Andy T, 28 Mars 2018

The hotel is easy to find and signposted. Good size free car park. The hotel is right on the seafront. Check in was swift and the receptionist was great. I had a room on the ground floor looking out over the car park. The room was okay, twin beds but I was a little surprised to find only a blind on the large window? I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was fine and the service was excellent. I would stay again.

"Lovely hotel"
rpatch, 25 Mars 2018

From the moment we checked in we're made to feel very welcome.Every member of staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and welcoming.Would recommend this hotel and will be returning later on in the year.

"Immaculately clean and comfortable "
dcweymouth, 17 Mars 2018

Stayed here on business, excellent choice. Clean, warm but not stuffy, attentive staff, Wifi very good for work purposes. Restaurant very very good. Bed very comfortable. I recommend this hotel and would stay again if in Bognor

"60th Birthday Celebration Dinner & Disco"
kbsmiffy, 13 Mars 2018

We held a 60th birthday evening dinner and disco for 29 members of my family. The management team and staff were extremely helpful, professional and efficient from the early days of planning the function to the organisation during the actual evening. The food was superb, the service excellent throughout the evening and the staff very helpful and attentive. We had a sea view room which was very comfortable with everything you need. A big thank you to the Beachcroft Hotel for making my birthday such a special, memorable and excellent evening.

"Exceeded expectations"
Lynda H, 11 Mars 2018

This was a first experience of travelling as part of a group and this hotel more that met expectations. Yes it is a little dated but in no way did this detract from the comfort, helpfulness, cleanliness and high standards of service. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very well appointed with everything you would expect from a higher rated hotel. Luggage was automatically carried to and from our room so the steep stairs were not an issue. The food was excellent with a good choice and served by a very helpful team. We used the pool whilst there which was warm, a nice touch being the large fluffy towels provided at reception. I can easily see why this hotel is used by business and recreational visitors. I would definitely recommend it. Thank you to Phil and all the team at Beachcroft. Good luck with the plans for expansion and renovation.

"Very disappointing"
garyrodgers56, 11 Mars 2018

Booked in for dinner bed and breakfast in a superior room, what a disappointment, the room was hardly, in our opinion a superior and the cleaner needs glasses as toe nails on the floor and hadnt been dusted for a long time. We went down for dinner and it was one of the worst we have ever had, we both had upset stomachs the following two days, all this for over £250.00. We wont be staying again.

"Beachside Hotel close to Bognor Regis"
McFrankie, 19 Février 2018

The hotel is about 10 to 15 mins walk outside the main part of the town, but can be reached via the sea front. It's near a nice part of the beach and easily accessible, also has a decent car park immediately in front of the hotel. The rooms are fine, in fact all the upstairs (rooms and corridors) seems to have been recently renovated and when we stayed, on a freezing dank Saturday, the room was warm, pleasant and comfortable. However, the stairs up to the upper floors are very narrow and steep and awkward with luggage, so avoid if you have any strength or mobility issues. The reception area looks very down at heel unfortunately and both the bar and the restaurant were fairly cheerless places. We ended up eating in as there seemed so little else available in the town plus the weather was so bad we didn't fancy cruising around looking for somewhere to eat. The food was OK and the service was cool and a bit rough round the edges. Breakfast in the morning was also substandard - more cheerful service but definitely a 'cheap ingredients' breakfast. Overall, it wasn't dreadful but it wasn't particularly nice either - I think a corporate 3-star should be able to do a bit better on service standards and on the quality of the ground floor front-of-house generally. At £133 for B&B in February, it is also overpriced. With dinner it was well over £200 and really didn't feel like money well spent. I think the lack of choice of alternative accommodation in Bognor has allowed the hotel to push it's luck a bit both with pricing and quality. Possibly the enormous Butlins nearby has distorted the hotel offer for the town for non Butlins visitors.

"let down"
kath w, 18 Février 2018

after a long journey,we arrived at the hotel to be told no bar or restaurant will be open untl 6 o ,clock, breakfast was not very good , will not be booking this hotel again.we had a leak in the bathroom floor very wet, i all ways thought that if guest were at a hotel and there was a lot a bar would be open, no coffee or tea

"Family visit "
Janine S, 16 Février 2018

We love this hotel. Come down to visit family regularly, and always stay here. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff here are very friendly and always help if you need it (ie my daughter forgot to pack her toothbrush, so one was given FOC) I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Ps- the breakfast is lovely.

"Nice location, helpful staff."
gazinho, 16 Février 2018

Initially even the double glazing couldn't hold back the strong offshore winds but the sea view room was well heated and bed comfortable. Internal soundproofing isn't great but the floor above quietened down later. Evening meal was as dull as the weather but staff attentive and friendly. An £11 fixed price breakfast would have been overpriced for the simple coffee and croissant I wanted, so it was the room's complimentary tea and biscuits instead. Very special thanks go to Geoff who went out of his way to arrange a next day delivery to London of an essential charger I had inadvertently left behind, and got it to me before I left the country. Brilliant!

"Christmas 2017 beach view."
863philipt, 22 Janvier 2018

Our four day stay, 2 persons, one twin room meals inclusive was enjoyable. This hotel is largely renovated with only the bathrooms to improve and as we have stayed previously can attest to an overall improvement. If I were to criticise one thing it would be the lack of a lift to avoid some quite steep staircases. However the welcoming and efficient staff are a credit to the management and to their expertise. It is great to be next to the beach and close to the village. There is a small swimming pool for those so inclined. The breakfasts are brilliant and cooked to order.

"Couldn't fault it"
Sara S, 18 Janvier 2018

I was at this hotel for a business conference. I stayed 2 nights with fed of my colleagues. My bedroom had a beautiful view of the sea..a very comfy 4 poster and was spotlessly clean. The bedroom was warm and had a hairdryer, diffuser, iron, ample hangers and brilliant blackout blinds. I can't speak highly enough of the staff. Check in was seamless, restaurant and bar ran like clockwork and housekeeping and maintenance all friendly and helpful. I have to commend the staff on their customer service...I asked for z birthday cake and they went out of their way to get me one and i was really touched when it was observed I have dietary restrictions and they provided a meal for me without me even having to ask. I hope you get rewarded within your company. You made us all feel special.

"Excellent customer service"
Jo S, 08 Janvier 2018

Visited with a large group of colleagues for a xmas value party night. Kerrie the Asst Manager was amazing at helping to co-ordinate the booking and invoicing our company. The evening food was yummy and the entertainment was great, our table even won the bar voucher! The room we got as part of the package was very comfortable and the breakfast the next day was lovely. Thanks to Kerrie and all the staff you worked so hard. Well done, see you next year!

"Very enjoyable New Year's Eve"
Mike H, 07 Janvier 2018

We were a part of 8 for the hotel's New Years eve dinner dance. Checked in mid afternoon for tea and cakes then up to our room to prepare for the evening. Good location but this is not a modern hotel so no lift and a steep narrow staircase. Sea view room was nice but rather wasted as it was blowing a hooley with grey clouds. The food was very good and the staff were efficient and attentive even though it was very busy. From what I remember after a heavy night the bed was very comfortable.

"Fawlty Towers Evening"
thinblueline74, 07 Janvier 2018

The visiting troup were very good - lots of spectacle and laughs. Food was good, but not exceptional. But it was a fun evening, none the less. Overall, very enjoyable. If we'd had the food on it's own, it would have rated average. Friendly staff though.

"1st Class Christmas "
User, 30 Décembre 2017

We stayed here over Christmas with my family in the Penthouse Suite. Wow It was fantastic. The penthouse was wonderful with a stunning view of the sea. The staff were so wonderful and attentive Elle or Ella the waitrose was brilliant. The food was beautiful, home made and well cooked. It was truly perfect. Thankyou so much for a special Christmas

"Great location "
Martin W, 25 Décembre 2017

Stayed here for one night while travelling along the south coast. Arrived late on Friday night and was slightly concerned as there was an office Christmas party in full swing. Thoughtfully we'd been allocated a room at the far end of the hotel away from the noise. Room was clean and spacious. The staff were all very friendly. Located on the beach and a short walk into town. Great value for money.

"Great Sea View"
Diana H, 24 Décembre 2017

We stayed in the family room, with bunk beds for our 2 kids in a separate room off the main bedroom. The room and hotel was perfect for us. We used the pool, was great but filled up quickly when 4 more families got in too! It is a minute from the beach and a lovely flat easy walk into Bognor itself. Can't fault the hotel, but I do wish the family in the room opposite would have kept their bedroom door shut so I didn't have to hear their kids shouting loudly at each other.

"Great Christmas do ..."
rich2966, 17 Décembre 2017

We have just had our xmas party here and were pleasantly surprised . Very friendly staff its almost as if its run by a family. By all accounts the hotel that is situated right on the beach front has had a resent refurbishment of its rooms but only lightly that we could see. Our room was clean and comfortable but dated and the sound proofing was a bit on the thin side. The bathroom had shower curtain which was mouldy and rust spots in a very small bath plus a toilet basin had a star crack in it. But even with these light cosmetic dislikes we were assured that this time next year all bathrooms would be totally refurbished but at this moment in time they are not worth £86 . Now back to the party which was a total success with good hot food being served even if some thought the pear salad was a bit of a let down size wise. Drinks were a typical hotel price and the night was made by the dj who really worked for his money making all get up and boogie. One thing that may need looking at by the management is the lack of seating in foyer for guest to have a pre dinner drink as many of our group were left sitting in a corridor in reception, this was because the original drinking area had been laid up for parties. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order but did notice that the pastries were not replenished... Please don't take my comments as all bad as we all really enjoyed our party and look forward to the next.

"Christmas?"
barbara b, 13 Décembre 2017

We live locally and use this hotel all the time. Everything about it is fantastic, staff, chefs especially Tony, but since being taken over and refurbished the owners won't allow Christmas decorations this year. Hence it looks drab in the restaurant and very unfestive. Had we known this to be the case we would have booked Christmas Day lunch somewhere else!!! ?? barbara and ray

"Lots of Positives here"
ianTenerife, 12 Décembre 2017

We had a good two night stay here. First, the location is probably as nice as we have had anywhere in the world...10 metres from the Beach...WOW! Secondly, we would like to highlight Carl, Angie and Kirsten and the maids who serviced our room for their exemplary efforts in making our stay enjoyable. We do have some observations, not necessarily criticisms, that are worthy of note. The room and the en-suite are crying out for a refurbishment. There were no curtains in the room and the blinds fail to obscure all the outside lights. Additionally curtains add to the ambience and definition of the room and, as such, are a given elsewhere. It is a long time since we stayed in a Hotel offering only a standard Double, not King Sized Bed. Similarly, singled glazed windows offered little protection to the onslaught of the coldest night of the year. In the Bathroom, the shower is beyond description and needs replacing immediately. The Dining room, in cold weather, requires some additional form of heating. Both of our days required extra layers of clothing to keep warm and the minimal, small central heating system needs upgrading. Addionally to attend Breakfast with 45 minutes of service left and to have to request milk, orange juice and croissants is really unacceptable, especially when there are two waiters to the 14 guests we saw. Also for one of us to request eggs done in a certain way and then to have to return them to be re-cooked is disappointing. The serving of smoked Bacon with no alternative is also unusual and confusing. The Beachcroft Hotel has so much potential. It would take very little to bring it right up to being on-point. A vast improvement to Breakfast service and a general re-furb of the rooms would make it a real gem.

"Fantastic family friendly hotel"
User, 12 Décembre 2017

We stayed in the Penthouse suite. The rooms were amazing, spacious, bright and absolutely spotless. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was all home made and delicious. The staff especially Luis were helpful, attentilpve and very professional. I can't praise this place enough. I will definitely visit again and I'm happy to recommend it to everyone.

"Social visit"
MickLoveland, 07 Décembre 2017

Hotel bright and airy, staff friendly and efficient, pleasant ambience. Drinks reasonably priced for a hotel, bar could have had more staff, but it was lunch time on a Sunday. The menu was varied and reasonably priced, well presented and hot. Parking was a problem, but there was on this occasion, a live band playing. The band was brilliant, not to loud, giving you a chance to talk in comfort.

"Excellent Customer Service"
chaoscola, 05 Décembre 2017

We booked this hotel recently for our Christmas Party and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble on the night and they were very accommodating for all our special dietary requests. They also provided us with free prizes on the night which we weren't expecting. Overall great service.

"Visit home"
Paul R, 02 Décembre 2017

I grew up in this area living a few miles from here but left in 1983 and decided to nip down for an overnight stay to see relatives. The hotel was great right by the Beach about 5 yards from the car park and the staff were great...I would recommend paying the extra for the view as we didn't have one. But we do plan to use the hotel in future overnight visits.

"Nice hotel"
Gail B, 26 Novembre 2017

We booked the hotel for a much needed child free weekend away, when we arrived there was plenty of parking and we got a warm welcome at reception. We were in room 1, which in itself was a nice room, it had a little hallway and to the left was the bedroom and to the right was a very good sized bathroom. The problem with this room is it is over the kitchen and the noise from the kitchen was very loud, you can hear the machinery, we could even hear them chopping, along with singing and shouting at each other!!!! This noise started at 6am on Saturday and 7am on Sunday when they were preparing for breakfast, and again early evening preparing for dinner, also every time someone in a close by room flushed their toilet or empties what we assumed was the bath you had a loud gushing of water go past the room through what we assumed were pipes on the outside wall. This did not ruin our stay but was annoying more than anything, we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening as both evenings there were functions on and we really just wanted a quiet meal whilst we didn't have any children with us so we ate out, we did have breakfast both mornings and it was really nice with lots of choice and the staff were really helpful and service was very good. Parking was difficult when there were functions on with the car park and road outside packed but we went into reception to ask them where to park and they kindly directed us to a rear car park and even checked for us that there was room. On the whole we really liked the hotel and its location, we would visit again but check first that there were not any functions on and specifically request not to be in room 1 or anything near the kitchen, we would probably upgrade to a superior room with a sea view.

"Nice hotel but......"
Paul B, 26 Novembre 2017

Great hotel, friendly staff, breakfast up to expectations with staff attentive to our needs and requests. Room (Room 1) comfortable bed, clean, but is over the kitchen and the noise of the chefs shouting and chopping can be heard from 6am. Constant low drone noise of a fan as well. Staff unaware of noise? Hotel had functions on both nights, which meant there was no room in the car park for residents to park. Had to park in the overflow staff car park at the back of the hotel on both nights. Noisy room and car parking lets this hotel down.

"Top Staff!"
barkingjane, 21 Novembre 2017

I live locally but have spent the last two days at the hotel with a business colleague who stayed overnight last night. I had recommended the hotel having had a fabulous birthday celebration party a few years ago. Thank you so much to all the staff who were amazing. We were able to conduct our meetings in privacy and were given a 5 star service throughout. The only reason for a 4 Star rating is that apparently there is not enough call for lunch! Would definitely recommend and also the position, right on the beach is amazing.

"Weekend away"
Niki N, 18 Novembre 2017

What a great clean and friendly place to stay. We took out dog (£20 a night) but he was given his own bed, blanket as well as two food bowls and a big bag of treats. The room we was given has its own small safe court yard so the dog can go out at night with out us leaving the room. Room was beautifully clean and bed very comfy. Well done a big fat 5 stars from us.

"Family weekend"
337Keith, 06 Novembre 2017

The hotel and staff were excellent. We booked 3 rooms, a single, the penthouse for a family of 4, plus our room with our dog. Nothing was too much trouble, we even had a dog bed, bowls and treats for our dog every day. Our room was on the ground floor, with patio doors onto an enclosed area for the dog. It was amazing.. would recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Fabulous"
Sandra r R, 06 Novembre 2017

We had a long week end away and we chose the beachcroft hotel and we are so pleased we did , all we can say is it is 5 star , all the staff are smartly dressed , polite , efficient, nothing is to much trouble, the food is fabulous from the start of the day to the evening meal, its so nice to have a window open and hear the sea and see it, if you want a nice restful break go here you will not be disappointed.

"Relaxing short break. Excellent."
mavvie22, 29 Octobre 2017

Excellent room (62) with wonderful sea views. The food was first class as were the facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, who made us feel very welcome. All the staff (includng those behind the scenes) are excellent and a credit to the hotel. Special thanks to Carl & Angie who are a real asset to the Beachcroft Hotel. We would definitely recommend the Beachcroft and are now looking forward to planning our next visit. Jackie & Steve

"Lovely hotel right on the beach"
Nuthil, 28 Octobre 2017

We stayed for two nights at the Beachcroft hotel. The room was very nice and we had a sea view. I would have given the hotel 5 stars if not for a few housekeeping issues but these were rectified quickly by the very helpful receptionist Jan and Carl who I believe was bar manager. They were both very professional. The breakfast was all that you could want served by pleasant staff. Dinner was superb. We would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

"Wonderful visit"
J150505, 19 Octobre 2017

We've just come back from another wonderful visit. As always, staff were fantastic. They are attentive, chatty and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are Beachcroft's most impressive resource. Its other highly impressive aspect is the excellent food and dining expedience. The food was excellent as usual. We can highly recommend the Chicken Diane. It is truly glorious - chicken in a delicious creamy sauce with mushrooms, mustard and brandy, and served with sauté potatoes and a selection of vegetables. So moreish. For days before our visit we had been anticipating enjoying the dish again. But one curious thing, as it's Beachcroft's famous signature dish, why is it on the Daily Specials instead of the main menu? The candlelit dining room with its gleaming cutlery and glassware is always a pleasure to enter. The hotel's prime location on the edge of the sea is superb and is convenient for bracing walks along the seafront to the east and west. There were plenty of free parking spaces available in the hotel's car park during our stay. We are already planning our next visit and looking forward to more visits to the restaurant for Chicken Diane (and other dishes!).

"Mid week break"
xto36, 19 Octobre 2017

Getting a sea view where you an listen to sound of waves to lull you asleep is a bonus. Very friendly staff and a very pleasant place to stay with swimming pool. Very handy to walk along the sea front and easy to walk to Bognor Regis. Excellent breakfast both full plated and a good choice cereals and fruit.

"Puts the Best into Best Western!"
portsidejane, 13 Octobre 2017

We stayed here for 4 nights mid-September. From start to finish it was one of the most enjoyable seaside hotel breaks we have had in a long while. Our room, on the 1st floor, was spacious, comfortable, very clean and we could see the sea! Every member of staff was cheerful, welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is situated at the end of a very narrow cul-de-sac and is almost right on the beach. It's not a place you'd stumble upon, you'd have to know it was there and how to find it, so it's all the more a hidden secret. We had tried many times in the past to get a booking here but it always seemed to be fully booked - that should tell you how good it is. I particularly liked the seaside/beach theme in the room decor, along the corridors and in the lobby - lots of interesting old travel posters of Bognor, Brighton, Worthing, Southampton, Portsmouth etc plus some delightful mugs featuring beach huts and cushions decorated with a "fishy" fabric. The hotel also offers deckchair and bicycle hire. There were only 2 things that were a little disappointing: there is no lift so if you are less than fit, the narrow stairs could be a problem. The other thing was the breakfasts - nothing wrong with the menu, or the service, or the overall presentation but the quality of the cooked food could have been better and the coffee could have been hotter. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel but leave room for us - we would like to return for another stay soon!

"We had a lovely stay here."
K B, 10 Octobre 2017

I loved our short stay at this hotel. We only stayed overnight but we received a warm friendly welcome. My party was two adults and two kids. I liked the way the family room was laid out. There was a bunk bed in a small area behind a blackout curtain. This meant the adults had a bit of space away from the kids. The receptionist was very nice. She encouraged us to use the pool and the kids had a ball. Our breakfast was lovely. This hotel is just a really nice english seaside hotel. The beach is right outside of the door. I will definitely return.

"Delightful"
Ouroldman, 08 Octobre 2017

A gorgeous hotel, right next to the beach at Felpham. Delightful, friendly staff, that went the extra mile to make sure that we had a comfortable stay. Our double room was spacious and well furnished. Cooked breakfast was served, rather than buffet style, so was always freshly prepared and served fairly quickly. The dinner menu is quite extensive and the fayre is delicious, as well as being well priced. There is also a small Bar menu. The hotel also has a small heated indoor swimming pool. We will definately return. We highly recommend The Beachcroft Hotel.

"Fantastic penthouse/apartment rooms for families"
CJ622, 01 Octobre 2017

We recently stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding in the area and booked the 'penthouse' rooms - 2 or three linked rooms on the top floor with a hall, sitting room and sun terrace area. Superb rooms. Very clean, spacious and well furnished.

"Pleasant surprise"
e9naro, 21 Septembre 2017

It's been a while since I stayed in a Best Western - partly because the ones local to where I live are a little tired. Not this one, which was well appointed, with good facilities, and genuine, friendly staff. Room was very comfortable - one of the better nights' sleep I've had in a hotel this year. Only downside was the usual UK coastal offpeak thing about closing kitchens - in this case I must have missed it by two minutes. Breakfast was great - it's not often you actually get a small fried breakfast when you ask for it. Proper filter coffee, not tanks of instant or burned americanos, as are too often the case.

"Lovely!"
Lou W, 10 Septembre 2017

Came here on BH weekend, We were blessed with the weather , a gorgeous room & the really friendly helpful staff. No issues with parking & you can hire bikes & deckchairs from reception, which we would have done if we'd had more time! Lovely breakfast with a feel of old style being served fresh eggs & not having buffet style., can help yourself to cereal & pastries etc.. loved it. We wished we had more than 1 night to wake up to the sound of the sea & it not being drowned out by traffic. We didn't use the little pool .. but sure this would be a nice dunk pool on a cold day ! Can't wait to go back .. maybe in the winter & be by the sea all snuggley & warm Lovely garden by front where we enjoyed tea & cappuccino before we sadly had to leave. Thank you for a lovely stay

"Wonderful penthouse"
J960JVdavid, 08 Septembre 2017

We stayed at the Beachcroft's penthouse. It is spacious, luxurious, and exceptional value. It could comfortably accommodate two couples. Its large balcony overlooks the beach, which has sand at mid and low tide, plus rock pools, and is no more than 80 yards from the hotel. The staff are engaging and helpful, especially in reception; the food and service very good; and the swimming pool is excellent and mystifyingly under-used. I doubt there's a better-positioned and more pleasant small hotel on the south coast.

"Lovely quiet hotel , virtually on the beach ."
Julia W, 30 Août 2017

The thing that sets this hotel apart from many others I have stayed in are the staff, every single one that I met couldn't be more helpful .The hotel itself is clean , bright and airy. The restaurant serves good food appropriately priced .Our room had a sea view and we were happy to pay a bit more to be able to hear the waves as you fall asleep . It really is a few steps to the beach and if you need a deckchair the hotel will lend you one , another nice little detail you don't get everywhere.A few words about the pool , it was fine , clean warm and about the usual size for a hotel pool .

"Traditional British Seaside Hotel"
64Rod, 24 Août 2017

Stayed for three nights. Although a little old fashioned it is non the worse for that. Excellent, friendly staff. First rate choice at breakfast including a mixture of fresh fruit and juices. Disappointed we hadn't a sea view but the garden at the front offers tables and chairs directly overlooking the sea. Would definitely recommend.

"Short seaside break for rest and relaxation "
cjm842, 23 Août 2017

I would highly recommend The Beachcroft Best Western Hotel - Felpham. It ticks all boxes as far as comfort, amenities, location and food. The staff, too, were friendly and helpful. Good value for money for a short getaway.

"Great place"
Susan B, 14 Août 2017

Very pleased with choosing this hotel first time here and not disappointed .Friendly greeting on arriving and offer to carry bags for us we had a sea view room which was love it was a beautiful day so great to have the view and windows open .. lovely seating area outside looking directly onto the beach .. breakfast was great very tasty .All staff were very helpful and friendly . on site parking a bonus .. we shall definitely return here ..

"stunning location"
richardmA1354SX, 14 Août 2017

stayed here 5 years in a row as a short break before heading into butlins and every time we have a great time, stayed in penthouse this year which was fantastic, staff always helpful ,did'nt see manager this year which we normally do but your staff are a credit to you

"Very pleasantly surprised with this hotel a little gem on the sea front at Felpham"
gill w, 14 Août 2017

We only stayed one night but had a sea view room which was very clean, with extremely comfy beds ; lovely tea coffee and biscuits and all the little bits inthe bathroom. Very impressed for a 3* star hotel. Had drinks outside on their lovely beachfront - could not find fault. .Breakfast was excellent too with very happy staff. Lovely walks either way - one straight onto the promenade to Bognor Regis and the other just a along the seafront. Would definitely come back

"Right on the seafront"
lifeboattrev, 14 Août 2017

Great location our rm no 24 with sea view clean and tidy had no problem with parking. The garden terrace is a nice place to chill with a drink did not eat here but my overall experiance was good would stay there again.

"A little old-fashioned and none the worse for that"
PhilosopherLondon, 13 Août 2017

We've just spent a couple of comfortable nights here, visiting the area for the International Bognor Birdman (everyone should see this!). It's a friendly hotel, right on the seafront in Felpham so easy walking distance to Bognor along the promenade. It's in a great spot. Our room (37) was nice, with a Seaview. The bathroom could do with an upgrade, but was clean. Breakfast was OK, plenty of choice. We ate in the Bistro one evening which was fine. All the staff we met were helpful, friendly and cheerful. We would definitely visit again, if in the area. I understand they have a couple of dedicated rooms for dog owners, which I thought was nice as the beaches are fantastic for furry friends. I imagine it would make for a good weekend break with bracing walks whether or not you have a dog with you.

"Nice location and facilities "
Hatepoorservice, 02 Août 2017

Spent 2 nights here, and although the weather was pretty rotten, it's a great location for the seaside. No elevator but staff carried suitcases upstairs. Bathroom was tiny, had to slide sideways past the sink to get to the toilet. Certainly that room wouldn't be good for larger people or those with even minor mobility problems. Comfy bed, up against the wall, so again not sure if suitable for more than one person. My room was small but cosy, and suitable for one person. Nice amenities in the room, and lovely big towels. Overall a good stay.

"Fab stay "
meltew, 01 Août 2017

Had an amazing weekend stay - first hotel stay for my 11yr old daughter ! Staff were amazing , the hotel , our room and all other areas were clean and well maintained . Thoroughly recommend and look forward to our next visit !!!

"Nice comfortable stay"
catDerbyshire, 31 Juillet 2017

We stayed here for 2 nights when sightseeing in the area & enjoyed our time spent there. It is very much a seaside hotel & much better than Anticipated. The staff are very pleasant & helpful & the location is excellent. We were lucky to have good weather & a drink sitting on the outside terrace is a must. A walkway runs along the front down into Bognor town. We ate in the restaurant (as it seeems limited options available down in town) & we found the choice & food acceptable. The Hotel was quite full but we still found a parking space. We would definitely stay here again

"Excellent as always"
Keith A, 26 Juillet 2017

Although now living locally to the hotel, we booked two nights whilst heating engineers were updating our system. We had used it on a number of occasions whilst house hunting last year. We were always satisfied and this time was no exception. Room excellent and comfortable, food in restaurant and bistro very good. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good value hotel, shame we now live so close.

"Rainy but Goody"
2latemickey, 23 Juillet 2017

Nice clean hotel with a tip top location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we were warned in advance there was a function on which was good. This did not impact on our trip to the Beechcroft and despite the rain on Saturday a good time was had by all.. great location ... No complaints whatsoever.

"normal"
Andy O, 21 Juillet 2017

it has a dated feel to the rooms and restaurant , and food prices are quite high . overall clean and tidy ,but has no real atmosphere , normal is the only word I can really say, the location is key to the hotel , but eat out , breakfast was sad ,,,,,,,,,, “An average hotel at an above-average price”

"Great location for beach"
Graham S, 18 Juillet 2017

I am glad I found this hotel not close to where I needed to have a meeting but not far enough to be an issue and I am pleased I stayed.A great location close to the stoney beach and promenade friendly staff and a good sized room.I had no problem parking and the wifi was perfect.if I was going to be picky the breakfast was average not bad but not exceptional.will definitely be back hopefully not just as a place to stay before a meeting but with time to enjoy properly.

"An average hotel at an above-average price"
Witsawagorn, 10 Juillet 2017

We came to Felpham for the weekend to visit friends. We could have stayed anywhere in the local area but chose the Beachcroft because we had had an excellent experience in the Best Western Havelet in Guernsey, and also because we liked the photos, especially of "West Sussex (sic) ONLY Beachfront Garden", of which more later. Anyway, there were some good things. The staff were friendly, and the room, which was advertised as "garden view", actually had a sea view, and it was very nice being able to wake up on Saturday morning and see the sea from our bed. Now, the negatives. There was a brochure in the room listing great Best Westerns around the UK. We could not read this because the pages were stuck together, presumably because something had been spilled on it. A small point, but you expect better attention to detail when paying over £143 per night room only. The taps in the washbasin in the bathroom were almost impossible to turn off. The swimming pool is small (five people made it feel uncomfortably full), has extremely limited changing facilities, and no showers: the nearest toilet is the other side of Reception. And finally, when we wanted to have lunch in "West Sussex ONLY Beachfront Garden", it was closed for a private function. There must be better value hotels in the area.

"Better Than Ever"
David G, 10 Juillet 2017

This was our third visit to the Beachcroft but our first since its refurbishment. The hotel has been brought right up to date with new décor and furnishings and is well worth a visit. Our room was on the first floor with everything we needed (except perhaps a fridge!). The room was not huge but it was large enough for us. The lack of a lift is a slight drawback but it is difficult to see where one could be fitted. The staff were all excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. We were joined by 12 other people for a reunion and at the last minute decided to stay at the hotel for our evening meal. The restaurant was already well booked but we were catered for admirably and had an excellent meal to boot. The hotel location is superb. Close enough to the town centre to be able to enjoy its amenities but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet! This place is certainly worth a visit.

"Just superb!"
tuglet2017, 09 Juillet 2017

Just a short stay, as respite from 'caring', but what a fabulous experience! From our arrival until we left, the staff - ALL of the staff - were just wonderful. It was almost as if they knew the reason for our visit was to 'chill' with as little hassle as possible. The room was excellent, the food was excellent AND a bath that was deep enough for an old, aching codger like me to get into, have a nice LONG soak AND, more importantly, get out of! 10/10 and we'll definitely be back!

"Amazing place"
Angie N, 06 Juillet 2017

Got married here in may 17.the beachcroft.the staff.the surroundings were and are amazing.lucas.kerrie.phillip.perrie.and everyone else gave us the best day of our lives.i highly recommend this hotel.

"Only drinks"
Stevethesweets, 04 Juillet 2017

Popped in for a couple of drinks one lunchtime. Lovely weather so sat on the terrace in the sunshine. The hotel looked clean the staff seem friendly and we are looking to book a weekend away. It seemed an older clientele so not sure if the bar would be up to much in the evening but plenty of options in the town

"Wedding Reception"
Megan H, 29 Juin 2017

We chose to have The Beachcroft host our wedding reception and I cannot fault it one bit. From the organisation to the end of the evening the staff could not have been friendlier or professional. We explained what we would like and they made it possible. We made the decorations and dropped them off the day before. In the evening the room was decorated better than I had imagined and the food was amazing albeit a little too much (unlike most resturants you go to nowadays). We also had the in house DJ who was great also. The evening was amazing, so thank you The Beachcroft. Unfortunately due to an early flight the following day we did not stay at The Beachcroft but I could only imagine that the Breakfast would have been just as good.

"Overnight stay"
Linda S, 28 Juin 2017

This hotel was a great find. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. It is a minutes walk to the beach and as a bonus, has a swimming pool. The off street parking was a another bonus as narrow streets would be difficult to park nearby otherwise. There are some good deals for out of season stays so we will definitely be returning.

"Another great stay"
Hairy_Traveller, 28 Juin 2017

Excellent location, right on the promenade. The Hotel has had a makeover since we last came a year ago. New carpets, new decor and it has a very airy and light feel. Had a sea view room . Good size and good size bathroom ( bath with shower over it). Room has all mod cons, tea and coffee maker , Tv etc. Ate in the restaurant , food was good and the menu offered a good choice. Breakfast excellent, cooked and Buffett. Staff very friendly and efficient. Hotel offers nice extras, deck chairs for beach, bike hire, garden area next to the promenade, and of course a nice indoor pool. Highly recommend this hotel fir a relaxing beachside break.

"Weekend trip"
29gn25, 25 Juin 2017

Stayed with my husband and this was our 4th visit to the hotel. Lovely room with a sea view and the staff always very friendly and professional and provide excellent service. Breakfast was included in the price and very good with a great choice. Will definately stay again as I visit friends in the area.

"Clean Friendly Beach Side Hotel"
JULIE1916, 22 Juin 2017

Stayed with my partner and son. Staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Family room had separate side room with 2 bunk beds for kids. Breakfast was great and the hotel was very clean and welcoming. The strolls along the beach outside the hotel are lovely as are the views. Be careful re the swimming pool as it is small and 4ft deep all over so not suitable for small children. I would also advise against using the pen for babies as it is far to hot in there to be safe for under 2 year olds for any length of time. My only advice to the hotel would be to get some decent size fans in the rooms as when it is hot the corridors are cool but the bedrooms themselves can get quite humid. would def recommend and will go back

"School visit"
ErikaCross, 22 Juin 2017

We have just returned from our eighth visit with a large group of children, to this lovely hotel. The location is excellent - a stone's throw from the beach. The staff are excellent - nothing is too much trouble and all dietary requirements were catered for with good humour and hospitality. The food is always delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. The girls always think the desserts are amazing! From first contact to final wave goodbye, the Beachcroft staff always offer personal, friendly and professional service and all of our requests are dealt with, with a smile. We have already booked our trip for next year!

"Hotel cancelled us last minute!"
cwhancox, 20 Juin 2017

Deeply disappointed our reservation was cancelled last minute due to overbooking. We'd booked a superior room but received an email at 14.26 on our day of arrival to cancel our booking. No suitable compensation provided, a free upgrade if we rebooked, which was irrelevant as we'd book the highest standard room. This was our only opportunity to get away having taken time off work and booked a dog sitter. Not everyone has the opportunity to just simply "rebook!" Very disappointing with poor, rude customer service.

"Great Little Hotel"
DianeGary, 12 Juin 2017

Just had a Saturday night stay at this lovely little hotel. Its steps away from the seafront. We had a twin room, which was spacious with a lovely sea view. We had a bathroom with a shower, towels and a little bottle of body wash and shampoo/conditioner. The room was very clean, had a television, plenty of wardrobe space with hangers, an iron/ironing board. The staff were all friendly. We had breakfast which was lovely. A choice of cereals, continental or full English. Would recommended this hotel to family and friends, and would stay again.

"Nice Hotel, excellent service"
Bilncrs, 04 Juin 2017

Stayed for one night & again found the Beachcroft to be a fine hotel. We took our elderly father & the receptionist 'Kerry' went out of her way to make sure he had everything he needed. She helped us numerous times in the 24 hours we were there. We'd definitely stay there next time we're in Bognor.

"Cream tea"
draconill, 26 Mai 2017

Pot of tea was served 15 minutes before the food. Two very dry scones with a tiny breakfast pot of jam and a parsimonious amount of cream, barely enough for one scone. Poor value at £7.50 a head, not helped by slow service. Not to be repeated or recommended

"Weekend"
Michael N, 24 Mai 2017

We arrived to very friendly reception staff. Our room was a four poster and had good views of the beach. Watch the staircases! Unfortunately there is no lift. The biggest surprise was the restaurant and quality of the food. It was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel it's a little gem. Well done everybody.

"Another great visit"
J150505, 08 Mai 2017

We recently returned from another great visit to this fabulous hotel in Felpham. One of the many reasons why we keep returning is that staff are professional, caring and excellent. Bedrooms are clean, service in the restaurant is impeccable, and there is a warm welcome from the extremely helpful reception team. The hotel had been refurbished since our previous visit with new decor and carpets and the curtains had been replaced by brilliant white venetian blinds which give a bright, airy feel to the bedrooms and public areas. Dinner, as ever, was first class but favourite classic dishes such as Chicken Diane (Beachcroft's famous signature dish!), Chicken Italian, Seafood Duo starter, had disappointingly been removed from the regular menu. Prices are up slightly and portion sizes are down slightly. The elegantly dressed dining tables in the evening used to be decorated by real candles but these have sadly been replaced by battery operated faux candles. Framed posters of beach images have been hung in the restaurant which give it a beach cafe ambience. Similar posters have been hung elsewhere in the hotel. It was sad not to find my favourite dishes on the menu but the Chef kindly made me Chicken Diane and other old menu classics every evening after the first night. Thank you! Beachcroft is not Beachcroft without its excellent great classic dishes. I look forward to my next visit in the hope that menus will have returned to normal. There were plenty of parking spaces at the hotel when we stayed. Brilliant location adjacent to the pebble beach.

"Lovely hotel with easy access to the promenade"
cbristol2017, 07 Mai 2017

Stayed for one night in a large ground floor twin room with plenty of space and built in wardrobe. The bathroom had all I needed with decent toiletries and good towels. The bed was comfortable and the TV big enough to suit the room size. The bar was quiet when I stayed so only had a quick pint and did not try the evening meals. Breakfast service was excellent. Finding out they had an indoor pool was a pleasant surprise. Great place for a quiet getaway with great access to the local beaches.

"Splendid hotel"
Mark Benjamin L, 07 Mai 2017

We stayed at this hotel for two nights - having travelled to the area to see a play at Chichester Festival and then have a couple of days on Felpham beach . The rooms are good - spacious and comfortable . The dining room is welcoming and the breakfasts tasty and nourishing .All staff are helpful , courteous and kind . I strongly recommend this hotel.

"excellent service/ qualified staff/ 3 stars location but 5 stars service"
fredvendrig, 05 Mai 2017

We were with 7 friends and our stay was including breakfast and dinner was great The location is on the sea and you can have nice walks on the boulevard. Because of the pool you can make your stay more comfortable.

"Comfortable stay"
stclanico, 03 Mai 2017

Stayed for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. Stayed in a family room with husband and two daughters. Good sized bedroom with smaller room just off separated by a curtain and ensuite bathroom. Very clean and comfortable and a nice seaview. All the staff we talked to were very helpful and pleasant. Good location for local pubs and a nice walk into town. Would definitely stay again.

"Sunday roast"
AndyR1990, 30 Avril 2017

Was nice to warm up on a windy Sunday with a lovely roast which was well presented and topped off with an excellent cheesecake! Would definitely recommend the food here and the staff were all excellent and made us feel very welcome.

"Sunday Roast"
ray1960everest, 25 Avril 2017

We visited the Beachcroft Hotel on Sunday 23/04, booked a table for 7pm. when we arrived we were greeted in a very nice manner, we were asked if we would like a drink in the bar before sitting, we asked if we could seat at the table and were shown a nice table in the window. the waiting staff were very polite, my wife ordered a glass of Rose wine and I had water (I was Driving ) we order our food. Starters we both ordered a fish cocktail and bread rolls, this was very nice. Main meal we both ordered half roast chicken with veg, this was not as good as the starters, the chicken was over cooked, mine was very dry and the veg did not look very appetising, this was also overcook. we ordered desert we had bread and butter pudding with custard, this was only ok. The staff were very good so was the dinning room.

"Lovely Hotel"
PANDFLO, 24 Avril 2017

Beachcroft is lovely hotel before with great staff, albeit hotel was in need of a bit of a 'refresh' ...... which has now taken place ;-). Do visit and consider VFM for what you get and the its location.

"Lovely seaside hotel"
pzgirl1, 24 Avril 2017

Stayed just for one night. Was a bit concerned the photos made it look old fashioned but needn't have worried. It's a really lovely hotel, right on the beach. There are aspects which look a bit dated but the room I stayed in was fresh and modern. It had the best tea and coffee making facilities I've seen in a long time - a full size kettle and a number of tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, and full size mugs! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a small garden with tables and chairs next to the beach which is probably lovely in the warmer weather. It's location is perfect too - right on the beach but tucked away quite privately. I would definitely stay here again.

"A lovely stay in fabulous Felpham"
MilesGary, 23 Avril 2017

Ten of us stayed here in the week leading up to Easter weekend. Four of us had first stayed here 45 years ago and then continued to holiday in Felpham as our family increased in size. Since our first visits the hotel has been taken over by Best Western. We are pleased that the originality and friendliness of the hotel have been preserved. The staff are very keen to make visitors' stays enjoyable. The hotel is clean and well-presented. All our rooms had great views of the sea. One of the best features is the lovely terrace at the front of the hotel with views over the beach. We enjoyed some early evening drinks here. We will be returning again.

"Lovely sea front location"
Sally H, 21 Avril 2017

The hotel has a great location right by the beach. All the staff were helpful, informative and friendly. Couldn't fault them. The hotel itself is a little tired and there is no lift - steep stairs to carry luggage up (we were offered assistance with this) The breakfast was very good - buffet for cereals, fruit etc and then you order your cooked breakfast. We also had the steak deal when we arrived on Friday - good value and very good piece of steak. We enjoyed the pool (always had it to ourselves) but it needs showers and toilet facilities alongside, not just a couple of cubicles like being on the beach! Overall a very pleasant stay.

"Great location"
lindyloukent, 18 Avril 2017

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite for just one night. The lounge, balcony, and bedrooms all a good size. However, the real let-down was the bathroom (actually only a shower room). For a suite of this size we felt the bathroom was far too small and should have a bath especially when, like us, we had a baby and toddler who need a bath rather than a shower. Maybe money would have been better spent making the "office area" into a family bathroom and making the shower room part of the main bedroom. This would then be excellent for families and also two couples sharing. We found the staff very helpful and friendly.

"Caring staff"
Brian_Wallace_1953, 15 Avril 2017

Very nice hotel, good sea view. I cannot commend the staff enough for the consideration they gave my brother-in-law, who has severe mobility issues. They went out of their way to make our stay as easy as possible.

"The people working here make the difference - Fab Location on sea front."
Carol L, 11 Avril 2017

Generally ok - as mentioned above the people are what makes this place. Our room was a refurbished one with a sea view. We stayed in the family room (30) with one king bed and two bunk beds. Curtain arrangement to the kids bunk beds needs to be more robust - a larger rod with rings so that the hooks don't keep breaking. Room layout was good and I would recommend it. The radiator in the bathroom needs fixing so you can shut it off. The taps are too round and difficult to turn with wet hands. The dinning area is still a bit tired. Parking good. The swimming area needs some thought. The two changing areas are pool side and not very private, they are also tiny. There is no loo or shower pool side. Could use a bit of the corridor to at least create a unisex changing area with a loo, three good sized chanaging cubicles and two decent sized showers.

"Party evening"
Helen B, 08 Avril 2017

Didn't stay there but went to one of the party evenings. We went as wanted to celebrate a birthday. They were very accommodating with letting us decorate our table and bring a birthday cake. Doing a birthday celebration this way without the hassle of organising catering etc. you get to choose which 3 courses you would like to have in advance and of course there is entertainment included. Good value for money. Party night themes vary

"Great food "
Bruce M, 06 Avril 2017

This hotel is situated a literal stones throw from the beach, prime location for anyone looking for a seaside stroll. My room was fairly basic truth be told, but it was perfectly adequate for one nights stay on business. They did provide a complimentary bottle of water which is not par for the course in my experience, so bonus points here. The food was very good, I had the prawn cocktail and then halibut both of which were great, I'd thoroughly recommend it. In summary the food warrants 5 out of 5, but the room was basic, though adequate, and location very convenient for the beach. If I had the option I'd score it as a 3.5.

"Lovely renovated room, great location"
Matt J, 30 Mars 2017

Working in nearly Pagham the price and location of the Beachcroft hotel was perfect. Easy to find and well signposted from the main road. Large well maintained car park. It is covered in stones and there is a disabled space, but I would suggest calling ahead should you need wheelchair access. Check in nice and easy. Room was up two flights of stairs. Quite narrow, so you may struggle with large cases. The hotel is undergoing a complete renovation. Some is complete and some not so complete. The completed areas are renovated to a very high quality. I was lucky to have a renovated room. Lovely and clean, spacious with a lovely bed. Plenty of facilities in the room including ironing board, hairdryer, excellent tea and coffee selection. Even had a couple of sweets. Plus the mugs were the coolest I have seen at any hotel for a long time. WiFi was blindingly fast and constant. Never missed a beat. Had something like 69Mb down and 18Mb up. Bathroom lovely and clean. Shower really powerful and at a constant temperature. Although it was only a night I had a great stay and only a few observations. The lights were quite dim. They are energy efficient bulbs but there are brighter bulbs out there. Shower controls took a bit of guesswork. I would suggest some instructions as it is not obvious that you need to turn the middle. Also, the shower curtain does not prevent water pooling on the floor. This may lead to problems later on due to water ingress through the floor.

"Exterior better than interior"
EJP_Sunshine, 26 Mars 2017

The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, though unfortunately I did not have a sea view. Room was ok but all interior seemed dated and old-fashioned and in need of the renovations that are promised to be on the way Reception staff very helpful. Bar and restaurant staff ok, but breakfast service was a bit hit and miss. Food was good quality and plenty of choices Didn't understand the concept of 'Party Night' on Saturday as none of the guests seemed interested in this type of entertainment and would have preferred a few quiet drinks and conversations Overall good though, would consider again if in the area

"Great budget stay. "
ValC777, 20 Novembre 2016

Wanted a cheap night away and found this gem! Right on the seafront and next to the lovely Lobster Pot cafe. For £90 we got a side room from which we could actually see the sea, with a huge, very comfy bed and small but perfectly adequate en-suite shower room (not only with complimentary toiletries but face cloths too!). There was a small tv with DVD player function and the usual tea and coffee facilities with hot chocolate sachets and biscuits too (a treat when you usually go to Premier Inns that don't even have biscuits anymore). Included in the price was use of the heated indoor pool which was open from 7.30am until 9.30 pm. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice; cereals, fruit, pastries, toast and of course the cooked full English. All cooked brilliantly. Staff were all very helpful, friendly and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. Could do with a refresh of decor but was fine and clean and tidy. Would love to go again.

"VERY AVERAGE BUT NO COMPLAINTS"
Emma M, 18 Novembre 2016

Good base for quite a big surrounding area, spacious room, bathroom very clean but main room although clean was a little tired looking but comfortable. Breakfast was nice, not buffet but plenty to fill you up. Nothing bad to say but was very average. Not one of the Best of the Best Western collection.

"A Good British Seaside Hotel"
Dirk49, 16 Novembre 2016

This medium-sized hotel sits close to the beach at the eastern end of Bognor. Although almost on the beach the sea is only visible at an angle because of the position of the hotel. The room was comfortable and well appointed. We ate in the hotel one both evenings and the food was good as was the breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I left something in the room on departure bit this was returned to me almost by return of post.

"Birthday Celebration"
375lorraines, 13 Novembre 2016

My mother celebrated her 70th birthday here and catered for 30 people. The Beachcroft is set alongside the promenade in the lovely village of Felpham within easy walking distance of Bognor Regis but slightly away from the hustle bustle of the central town. The staff were very attentive and offered a fantastic service throughout. This is not a particularly modern venue but clean and well equipped.

"Yes please"
Kay S, 01 Novembre 2016

Been wanting to visit this hotel for a long time. It did not disappoint, loved it. On the beach great food lovely and warn indoor swimming pool. Rooms need an upgrade but has everything you would need provided therein. Staff lovely and friendly. Can't wait to go back

"Pleasant weekend break"
Barry K, 30 Octobre 2016

Comfortable room, excellent wi-fi and very good breakfast. The reception area is a bit tired and the car park was a bit of a squeeze on a busy Friday and Saturday night (we got in OK). It couldn't be any closer to the beach! We were in Rm 43 at the back and slightly away from the restaurant. I have read some people experienced quite a bit of noise. Not here, it was so peaceful. We didn't think there was a lot to do in Bognor Regis, but we had set Saturday aside to visit Porstmouth Historic Dockyard.

"really good place to meet"
Robbie3, 29 Octobre 2016

Attended a charity event so can only comment on the food and service, not the accommodation. The restaurant was very well prepared and the food and service was excellent, the staff being friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would certainly recommend the premises for not just functions but also private meals. We will certainly be returning.

"Beachfroft"
Rodney H, 29 Octobre 2016

We had a very nice 4 night break at this Hotel. The staff were excellent, and the meals first class. Parking was easy. The Hotel is situated right on the seafront, and about a 20 minute walk into Bognor's main shopping centre. My only criticism, and it is a very minor one, As there is no lift, and the stairs are very steep and narrow, a hand rail on both sides of the staircase would make it a lot easier for the elderly. All in all a very pleasant break, and a hotel that we would like to return to again some time in the future.

"A 2 night break"
AJandMH, 27 Octobre 2016

The hotel gave a very reasonable D,B&B rate and we enjoyed it. The room was adequate and good for the price. The pool looked good and we will be in there next time but could not this time. The 3 course evening meal was very good in both taste and presentation. If you like to be close to the sea this is the hotel to be as the grounds are adjacent to the promenade. all the staff were charming and helpful

"Very disappointing, will never visit again"

Visiting friends in Chichester weneeded a hotel for a couple of nights not too far away. Saw this on the Best Western web site and it looked fine. The welcome was pleasant and we were offered help with luggage. After this it went down hill First the good news - the dinner on the first night was good, the breakfast on the next mornig was good. For both meals the service was bright, pleasant and effiucient.. BUT - the web site site says there is parking for 30 cars and on street parking if the car park is full. The hotel is approached, forn and back, via narrow streets with the edge of the road bumper to bumper with residents casrs. No way to get on street parking! To get to our room we had to use a very steep, narrow stairway. The room was a twin and the bed linen was clean but the room was very shabby and not inviting. It needs a complete makeover. When we went down to breakfast there was note saying there was a function in the evening and limited dining for residents - so book now!. This did not bother us as we were with fiends and did not want an evening meal. When we got back in the evening we found the front car park full but did manage to get in the rear carpark. The dining room had been turned over totally to the outside party and the residents were consigned to the bistro area - OK but not a dining room. Mid-evening the disco started up in the dining room and noise was horrendous. On checking with the desk I was told "there is warning on our web site". Not true. There is no mention of this on the Best Western web site and when I finally managed to find the hotel's own web site it did say there were functions but the diary did not say anything about the date we were staying - neither did it say it would be disturbing to residents until midnight. We checked out immenditely and went home. On leaving we had to go through the bistro to access the car park and the I do not know how the four people still there could possibly enjoy their meals with the level of noise coming through the door form the disco. If you decide to come - bring ear plugs, expoect a shabby room and hope you can park the car.

"Nice family hotel right on the seafront"
Macchu123, 16 Octobre 2016

This was a family hotel before Best Western took it over but it retains its family atmosphere. Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Basic tea/coffee etc in the rooms and comfortable beds with en-suite facilities. We stayed in a sea view room which was very pleasant and not too much more expensive than others without the view. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant but we did not eat there. There is a nice seafront restaurant close by which did us nicely. Very pleasant walkway along the promenade. Only criticism is that the staircases are narrow and no lift, but it has only 3 floors.

"Smallest Bathroom I have ever used"
PennyValentine, 11 Octobre 2016

This is a very basic hotel, and very expensive for what you get. The bathroom is without doubt the smallest we have ever come across, my husband struggled in the shower. The noise from the party being held as the revellers came out to sign and shout at whatever unearthly hour it was made for a miserable nights sleep (window shut - too warm / window open - too noisy!). We had booked a 'superior room' thinking that it would have at the very least a decent bathroom - there is a reason there are no photos of the bathrooms on the hotel website. We should have checked our reservation as well, apart from the very expensive room, we were also charged an additional 11 pounds each for breakfast (our mistake). Finally, we were up on the third floor and there are a lot of [ narrow ] stairs which are also very steep - not recommended if you have problems with stairs. Perhaps we have been too spoilt in the past but I would not go back to this hotel again.

"Great location"
JuliaMcF, 05 Octobre 2016

A well situated hotel near Bognor Regis. Friendly staff and good bar. The hotel itself could do with updating. Spent one night in large room. Good breakfast. Only thing let's it down is decor. Hopefully this will be rectified.

"Great location"
valsone, 30 Septembre 2016

We stayed for three nights at the hotel. the location is very good... right on the sea front - promenade. you can walk in either direction but if you walk to the right when entering the promenade it will take you into Bognor and the Pier., the 'beach' is typical for the area... pebbles with breakwater barriers along the sea side. Our stay was at the end of September so the weather was cooler and not beach sitting weather. the hotel was just about what you would expect... room #5 was small but compact. the bathroom was surprisingly large! and we could just peak at the ocean from the bed and bathroom windows. the staff are very helpful and take care of the luggage since the stairways are very narrow. there is a cozy 'pub' which serves snacks etc most of the day and also a full dining room. the Breakfast is a buffet and quite expensive. Pets are allowed and there is an indoor swimming pool. there is a small garden and upper area for afternoon tea when the weather is warmer.

"One night stay"
Tracey B, 27 Septembre 2016

Stayed for one night, room was spacious and bed comfortable and I was impressed with the tray with tea and coffee etc. Also it had mugs on, much better than a cup and saucer! The service in the bar and at breakfast was good. I was pleasantly surprised in the morning when I pulled back the curtains and could see the sea. I hadn't realized we were so close as we had arrived when it was dark. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel was about a 20 min walk to Bognor.

"Disappointed"
catherinelatham, 25 Septembre 2016

We were so looking forward to staying at this lovely beach front hotel, but never had the chance . On arrival we were told there had been a plumbing problem which wouldn't be sorted until the following week. However they had kindly upgraded us to a sea view. Unfortunately the room was upstairs and as I had clearly stated that I was disabled when booking and needed a ground floor room this was not suitable. They kindly offered us a cream tea whilst we waited for them to find another hotel. Firstly they offered Butlins or a hotel 20 miles away, not exactly what we had in mind for a restful break by the sea . We asked to see the manager, but he had apparently just left with the M.D. So it was left to the lovely receptionist to take responsibility for sorting our problem, and after many phone calls she managed to find a suitable hotel near by and agreed they would pay by way of compensation for the stress caused. So I would like to thank her as she saved the day for us after our very long and tiring journey. So our compliments to Susan Pagett who dealt with the situation calmly and efficiently, she is a real star and I hope the hotel management recognise her excellent customer care and managerial qualities.

"Short break by the sea"
Elizabeth E, 23 Septembre 2016

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the seafront making it the perfect spot to park the car and walk on the level sea front in either direction. We had a family room on the first floor with a wonderful sea view. Room was clean and comfortable but you do have to climb a narrow staircase to get to the first floor ( no lift). Staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed an excellent evening meal and breakfasts. It is a bit dated but then it is an old building but for me the location makes up for everything else.

"Not really Bognor Regis"
flj3, 23 Septembre 2016

We spent three nights here in September, eating in the hotel each night and using the hotel as a base to visit Portsmouith Historic Dockyard (by train) and nearby National Trust properties. It was not until the last day that we discovered the hotel is actually really part of the attractive and interesting village of Felpham, immediately behind, with good pubs that provide alternative evening dining opportunities. A very well run hotel, professional and helpful staff, and overall meriting a better rating than just three stars. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent; very generous portions and well presented. Parking immediately outside was never a problem. Probably not the place to be on one of their party nights, but for three quiet nights with just private guests this was an enjoyable if a bit expensive experience.

"Great customer service"
Jane B, 13 Septembre 2016

Had a very enjoyable weekend with the family at this hotel on Felpham beachfront. Chose this particular weekend for the party night. Good food, good ambiance and plenty of dancing. The outstanding quality of this hotel is the customer service from all the staff. Location is good directly on the beachfront within walking distance to Bognor Regis. Would recommend the Fox Inn for an evening meal or Lobster Pot next door to the hotel.

"Back to the 70's"
Tezza4693, 09 Septembre 2016

You can not get a better position, it is a stones throw from the beach. I do not think many of the rooms have been decorated since the 70's. Well to be fair I only saw mine and had second hand descriptions from my travelling companions. The room was tiny, with access to the bed only on one side, the mattress sloped, the shower curtain was brown around the edges and the bathroom flooded when you had a shower. The food on the whole was good but again the menu was a throw back to a past era. Be warned the parking is very limited.

"another lovely weekend"
car0ying, 07 Septembre 2016

Great location practically on the beach, comfortable hotel, good restaurant with excellent chef, small swimming pool and, friendly efficient staff. We have visited many times and will continue to do so.

"Great weekend"
Andy B, 04 Septembre 2016

Party Weekend was great, What a pleasant Hotel the staff are all so friendly and helpful and the place is clean and tidy. Highly recommended. I would add this to my list of places to return to. Many thanks for great weekend

"Great weekend"
Pat B, 04 Septembre 2016

We had a great weekend with the Beachcroft Hotel as our base. We found the hotel very clean & comfortable, friendly & efficient staff & excellent food. Enjoyed our drinks overlooking the beach after a busy day at Arundel Castle, so many things to do locally. The swimming pool was a great asset-we made full use of it while we were there.

"Another Great Stay at the beachcroft"
Dave H, 01 Septembre 2016

Yet another great stay at this hotel, friendly staff, good food and well positioned for local facilities. Room was clean, food was very good with terrific breakfasts, ample parking and very well placed for the beach and local ameneties

"Lovely long weekend!"
Christine W, 31 Août 2016

We visited in mid August and had a great time as usual. Staff are friendly and attentive, always professional and they work hard. Nothing is a problem. We stayed for four nights. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Cream teas are available during the summer months sitting in the garden overlooking the sea. Then a long walk along the promenade is a must. Deck chairs and bicycles are available for rent. Parking and free wifi is available also. We did a long walk (8 miles) to Littlehampton and took a bus back to Felpham. The bus 700 is very convenient for Littlehampton and other destinations. The 600 bus goes in the direction of Bognor, Aldwick and Pagham. It's a good walk (5/6 miles)back to Felpham through Aldwick and Bognor. Can't wait to visit again.

"Excellent hotel, excellent weekend"
J150505, 31 Août 2016

Just returned from another excellent weekend at the Beachcroft. Spotlessly clean bedroom and a comfortable bed. Food was excellent and the chef even made me his signature dish of Chicken Diane although it wasn't on the menu. Jan in reception gave us a great welcome when we arrived, and all staff were pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful as usual. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is gradually being upgraded. New kettles and mugs have been installed in bedrooms, Bicycles and deckchairs are now for hire at the hotel. New carpets were being laid in the restaurant on the day that we left. New ceiling lights have already been installed there. Apparently, this is the only the beginning of refurbishments. The hotel is located on a quiet stretch of the sea front in Felpham, a 20 minute walk on the level into Bognor town centre. This is an excellent, friendly hotel with high standards. Very highly recommended.

"Location Location Location!"
DMM6313, 25 Août 2016

Booked this for a 2 day break with the impression that it was something above average in standard. However, we were sadly disappointed to find a few things that were unimpressive for a hotel costing more than £110.00 per night for bed and breakfast. Over-priced in our view. For example, although the room was ground floor and a reasonable size, and beds were comfortable, in the bathroom the shower was a trickle at best. The car park was very small indeed, and we couldn't park there on the first night until someone moved their car - so got in to the space very quickly before it was taken again. Similarly, on the 2nd night we returned from a nice day out to find no parking to be had in the hotel car park, and the surrounding streets equally full. We parked in a car park in the village, and after our meal nearby managed to get a space back at the hotel again - much relief as we don't like our car to be anywhere out of sight. In the restaurant, the a la carte menu offered 3 courses for £27.95 (with a voucher for a free bottle of wine - not needed between 2 of us). We declined the 3 courses and just had 2 each which was enough; food ok but nothing memorable. Had dinner in the village at the Thatched House the 2nd night - see review. Lots of restaurants and pubs can be found locally, within a short walk of the hotel. In summary, therefore, a lovely location right on the beach front, handy for local attractions, but spoiled for us by parking issues and by the unsatisfactory shower.

"Sunny seaside Beachcroft Hotel"
SpanglyOne, 25 Août 2016

Maybe it isn't fair to review a hotel that was last visited 51 years ago. To put that in perspective, it was before England won the World Cup. We had cars back then…? But the location has not changed one jot: the sea is just as blue, visible over the wall from your afternoon cream tea and the scent of ozone is tangible throughout the stay. Beach huts? Of course. A putting green? Exactly where it was, a short walk towards Middleton-on-Sea, maybe three or four minutes. Your children may love you just a little more for the sheer simplicity of what's on offer. Formerly the Beechcroft Hotel and now part of the Best Western gang of independent hotels this little gem has retained its individuality and its sense of well-being. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff (of which there seemed to be more than enough) and this quiet nook of the coast could easily be overlooked if you've gone to Butlin's and haven't headed east out of the compound. It's a discovery. Breakfast is ample and meticulously served with kippers cooked by an expert and while the pool may be tiny it's not why you're there. The rooms are comfortable and all come with a continual soundtrack of the sea, just yards from where you'll lay your head. You're there for a sense of the past, and you've found it. Beachcroft. Beautfiful.

"Not bad for a 3* Hotel"
Keeley S, 24 Août 2016

The bed was a generous size and the room was nicely cleaned and arranged every day. We didn't have a sea view like some of the other rooms and there was a dampness in the wardrobe which left your clothing slightly damp. We had a little trouble with our key card, sometimes having to wait a while for it to activate and other times having to be quick or missing the time. Even had to have it activated again on the last night as it only had us down for two nights and not three. We just thought the card was playing up again. The swimming pool was lovely and basically have it to yourself every time. We had lots of noise from the family above, banging doors and stamping, so would be better for the hotel to maybe arrange for families to be bedded downstairs rather than up. The staff in the hotel were very polite, even down to arranging my daughters teddies in a nice little gathering for her on her bed. If you keep in mind that this is a 3* hotel, it is a nice little place to stay.

"The most perfect venue for our Wedding Reception."
ACHarrison75, 24 Août 2016

My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Beachcroft on the 6th August and we really cannot thank the hotel and its staff enough. We had an absolutely perfect wedding reception and the hotel could not do enough for us. All of our guests have commented on the how amazing the food was and we have to say we could not have asked for better. The food was just perfect and the portions were a generous size. None of the orders were muddled up and the food was served with ease. Whilst commenting on the food, I also had the steak dinner on the Friday night before the wedding and that is also highly recommended. All compliments to the chef and his staff for everything they did for us that day. All of our guests commented also how lovely it was to be given menu options which they all really appreciated. The wedding room was set out perfectly and everything was just as we asked. The garden is a lovely addition to the hotel and we had welcome drinks there for our guests who were able to sit and look out to the beach. I stayed the night before the wedding and my bridesmaids and I got ready at the hotel. Again, the hotel could not do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was a problem. We had a fabulous breakfast the next morning and a table was laid up for the wedding party who had stayed over. We cannot rate this hotel enough and highly recommend the Beachcroft as a wedding venue. Thank you to Phil the Manager and his team again for making our wedding such a perfect day.

"Ok to lay your head down"
MrsLidz, 23 Août 2016

Definitely not amazing. Rooms are ok, staff are friendly. Probably wouldn't stay again as i booked on the day and everywhere was booked but a pleasant stay none the less. We got a seaview room and had an extra bed and cot putin for the kids, so there was enough room for us all.

"Super stay"
saltburn51, 22 Août 2016

Myself and my wife spent 4 nights here and we were very happy with the whole experience. The staff could not have been more helpful, the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast menus offered a good choice, were extremely tasty and there was waiter/waitress service (not just a buffet style). We had dinner at the hotel each evening and again the menu was good and all meals were excellent. We would have no hesitation in going back if we were in that area again.

"Lovely stay"
Samantha L, 21 Août 2016

Stayed for the weekend. Had a lovely time. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed very comfy. Great sea views. Relaxing atmosphere. Staff were very polite and helpful. Restaurant was great, lovely food freshly cooked. Dinner and breakfast was perfect. Stairs to top floor narrow and steep. Not a problem for us, just if someone struggles with mobility. Will be returning soon.

"Shabby ( don't confuse with shabby chic !!!)"
prettybella, 20 Août 2016

Very disappointed with this hotel, cleanliness lets the whole place down. The hotel looks tired but I can look beside all that if the place is clean, hotel staff very polite and courteous but sadly that wasn't enough. The bathroom was superficially cleaned so was the rest of the room as we found out later. There were bit floating in the toilet ( won't be too descriptive here), short hairs around the toilet, God knows where they come from, opened shower gel sample next to the shower, so how can one clean bathroom and leave all this behind??? Previous occupant of the room left a shirt in the wardrobe which was still left in there, also when we settled for bed we found a day pass from the 18th of August under the duvet, bare in mind we checked in on the 19th....so there's the question again, how clean was the bed??? In the morning after a shower noticed the towels ( or should I say sandpaper) were stained and had a musty smell to it, also not exactly white, more like grey, nevertheless the colour is not the point! The smell and the stains that bothered me. Informed reception at checkout, must admit the lady at reception offered a refund but as I'm expecting I was really struggling with my emotions as was so upset about this experience , didn't want to burst out crying in front of other customers and we left. We go quite often to Felpham as we have friends who live there but this hotel left a bitter taste in my mouth at the moment, a word of advise? Give your cleaning team extra training!!!!

"Two night break"
WeymouthHal, 19 Août 2016

We picked this hotel as it was close to family and we know the area, although we hadn't been to this hotel before. It's not a particularly imposing looking hotel and it's accessed down a fairly narrow residential road. However it's a lovely hotel, quite traditional decor and right on the sea front. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, we had a reasonable size ground floor room, slightly old fashioned but spotlessly clean, although the shower would have benefitted from a glass cubicle rather than a curtain. The food was very good - plenty of choice, well cooked and presented - if anything some portions were almost too big. Breakfast was cooked to order - so again fresh and hot and the staff were very attentive. From the hotel you can walk along the esplanade - or into Felpham village - or even into Bognor. We really enjoyed our short break and would be happy to return.

"Family break"
bluedon, 19 Août 2016

Lovely hotel, situated in Felpham. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast hot and cooked to order. There is a small pool at the hotel which is restricted to guests. They supply towels for swimming. You can walk to Bognor itself along the seafront in around 25-35 mins depending on your pace.

"Excellent Hotel, Great Location"
Hairy_Traveller, 18 Août 2016

Stayed 2 nights. Location Hotel is right on sea front, turn left and walk along the prom to the lovely village of Felpham, where there are 4/5 great pubs all doing food , restaurants and shops. Turn left and you come to Butlins and then Bognor sea front and the town. Walkable in both directions. Outside Free parking and a lovely garden next to the prom. Ideal for sitting with a glass of something, watching the sea and the sunset Room We had a room facing the sea ( I'd ask for one of these) good size with good size bathroom. All mod cons, tea facilities, iron, hairdryer, TV etc. Roomy with a nice chair so you can admire the sea view from the open double windows. We had to go up 2 steep flights of stairs to second floor so careful if you have limited mobility - best to ask Food Breakfast was excellent - full English and buffet in a nice airy restaurant. Didn't use the restaurant in the evening, but 3 course set meal was £27-95. We opted for £9-95 bar/bistro menu. My wife had the curry, which for a non Indian restaurant was outstanding. Bar , well stocked with good range of drinks Facilities Nice indoor pool ( 10m long I think ) use of deckchairs to take on beach, cycle hire Staff Lovely. couldn't do enough. Very professional and friendly Overall This is an older style hotel, not a bland chain but it has character. Some of the décor may be dated and tired but its clean and adds to the character. I'd thoroughly recommend this for a seaside holiday

"Lovely location next to the beach"
catg392016, 16 Août 2016

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, we had a lovely big room with a partial sea view, we stayed for one night and a late checkout the following day . Lovely big comfy bed. Lovely cooked breakfast and all the usual, cereal, fruits etc. It has narrow stairs going to the top rooms but this was fine for us with overnight bags. The beach is on the doorstep and was not too crowded. Has a small pool and we went for dip, friendly staff, would recommend this hotel and will stay again.

"Fantastic wedding venue"
jillhayward2014, 11 Août 2016

My sons wedding reception was held here last week. The whole thing was beautifully organised. Well laid out, delicious food and best of all a lovely area outside overlooking the sea for a drink on arrival whilst photos were taken on the beach. I am told that the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Thankyou very much for making the day such a success.

"A little Gem"
Terry C, 05 Août 2016

First time here. Very high quality for an older style hotel. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Smartly dressed and polished shoes = take a pride in their work. Food quality was excellent. No need to eat out. Very well equipped bedroom. Comfortable King size bed. Parking can be a bit tight when the hotel is busy. Right next to the beach promenade which is ideal for that fresh air walk ! Nice indoor pool.

"Pleasantly surprised"
Terry S, 05 Août 2016

We had difficulty in booking any hotel near Bognor Regis, probably because there was racing at nearby Goodwood, but we eventually managed to book the Beachcroft. What a wonderful location right on the beach and our room had a magnificent sea view. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was very good and the drinks not overpriced.

"A perfect wedding reception "
Paul J, 31 Juillet 2016

Me and my wife had a wonderful wedding reception at this hotel, and we were taken care of in every aspect of the evening. The venue team and the manager Phil couldn't do enough for us and the day went perfectly. The reception room was beautifully laid out and the food was brilliant also,Our room was very nice and had a gorgeous sea view.I would certainly recommend staying at the Beachcroft, even as a guest

"Peaceful"
Robin W, 30 Juillet 2016

I needed an overnight place to stay in Bognor which I had not visited for sixty years. I found the Beachcroft to be ideal. The service was courteous and efficient. The food especially good and the location nice and secluded but right on the sea front.

"Great location"
tonydeadman, 29 Juillet 2016

Nice hotel in a great location. Only a stones throw from the beach. The rooms are great (except the shower) and the food is well cooked with a good choice of dishes. The staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Would certainly use this hotel again.

"Summer Ball"
tjlct, 27 Juillet 2016

I went with friends to the Summer Ball, the food was nice, nothing exceptional. The drinks at the bar were very expensive. The singer was very good. There's a small dance floor, for those wishing to have a bop.

"Pleasant Holiday Location"
Stim22, 20 Juillet 2016

The hotel is very friendly with very good food and nice rooms, stopped for several days and there are some nice walks along the front. Some guests required something that was not on menu and the chef did his best to please. Our room had sea view and the sound of the sea at night

"Right by the Beach"
Kerrygold, 16 Juillet 2016

Sometimes the description of 'right by the beach' is 'stretched' a bit but not here. I booked on an 'emergency' basis for us both for one night and the very friendly lady on reception (so sorry didn't get your name) was also there when we arrived and was very helpful. The car park to the front is adequate mostly I would say but there is another though much smaller one at the back of the hotel. A lot of work has been done to upgrade the rooms it would appear and the lovely terrace area. The evening meal was good and so was the selection at breakfast. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the beach which was very clean and nicely furnished but the new extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy . A problem which the gentleman on reception the next morning said would be rectified. There is no lift at the hotel and the staircases are quite narrow so don't take anything too large! There is a swimming pool in the hotel and cycles can be hired from reception which would be good to take advantage of the miles of promenade along the coast. It is only about 15mins walk to Bognor Pier though. The Beachcroft is a very nice hotel in a lovely location and friendly staff.

"Friendly hotel in relaxing location"
AMH2016, 15 Juillet 2016

We have been here twice now and definitely intend to return. Some of the decor is a bit tired and the parking in front of the hotel is not really adequate for the number of rooms (it's worth arriving early!), but the location is fantastic - right next to the beach so that you can hear the waves from your sea-view room - and the food, if sometimes rather overpriced, is very good, with some nice choices for vegetarians.

"Family celebration after wedding ceremony"
215joan, 11 Juillet 2016

Absolutely fabulous food served in a very comfortable setting. A couple of the guests were gluten free and their needs were met very adequately and every effort was made to please our party of people. We had pre-ordered our food and the quality of the food was excellent, I would highly recommend this hotel. It is right on the beach at Felpham as well which is a bonus.

"Nice hotel in seafront location"
jo w, 11 Juillet 2016

The hotel is very pleasant indeed with warm, friendly staff and nice enough bedrooms. Nothing fancy at all though so if you're looking for luxury, this may not be the place for you. I would strongly recommend the restaurant - we had a three course meal and it was wonderful - as was breakfast. All in all, a nice visit.

"Good hotel !!"
Mab4819, 05 Juillet 2016

We stayed here for two nights last weekend on half board. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We were greeted on our arrival by a very friendly lady on reception. All the other staff were friendly as well. An excellent choice of food at both breakfast and dinner. The only downside was the walls in our bedroom were quite thin and we were kept awake both nights with someone in the next room who snored very loudly.

"Friendly Hotel"
terence f, 28 Juin 2016

Been to many Hotels, but this one of the most friendly Hotels we have been to.A nice location. And the food was excellent. Nice for a stroll along the promenade. We will recommend to are family and friends.

"Beachcroft Hotel Felpham"
Nick B, 21 Juin 2016

What a fantastic break -- the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly - room modern and clean, great views as well. There is a Patio garden, overlooking the sea - great for drinks.... We had a very enjoyable stay and will be back soon. Highly recommended.

"Lovely hotel with incredibly helpful and accommodating staff"
358crosse, 20 Juin 2016

We have been taking a group of 30 children to The Beachcroft Hotel on a school residential trip for the past seven years and cannot rate the hotel highly enough! They are incredibly accommodating, communication is always excellent prior to our visit and the staff are always friendly and very happy to help. The hotel facilities are lovely - rooms are clean and well-equipped, many with lovely sea views, beds are incredibly comfy and the food is excellent. We always feel incredibly lucky to have found such a fantastic hotel and would recommend it to everyone. Lovely!

"Hop, skip and a jump and your on the shore"
Jean H, 20 Juin 2016

What a wonderful location, tiny bit dated but the staff make up for that, very helpful and the food was excellent. If you enjoy walking along the promenade you will love this, there is sailing and parks with gym work out stations. We hired bikes on the Sunday, all new, bikes , helmets, had an amazing weekend with my grandson

"Great location with attentive staff"
uklizMidlands, 06 Juin 2016

From the first telephone call through to check in, breakfast and checkout the staff were all very good - helpful and attentive. Great location overlooking the sea. Car park is very small but try around the back is my suggestion! Overall a nice stay with a very good nights sleep in a comfy bed.

"Excellent two nights stay"
Maryc C, 30 Mai 2016

Chose the hotel for location to spend time with family who were at Butlin's but were a bit hesitant as it only had 3 stars. How wrong could we be the staff, service and food were 5 star with clean and comfortable sea view room and we will certainly we be returning in the future to this lovely hotel

"One night stay on Friday 27 May 2016"
Foxysoxy, 28 Mai 2016

Had previously been staying in Selsey. Decided to book a night at the Beechcroft on our way home for one night. We weren't disappointed. Lovely hotel, great room, everything you need, staff fantastic, brilliant breakfast. Wished we'd been able to have another night at this Hotel. Will be back at some point. Great stay. Phil + Shirley

"Lovely Hotel"
sallyann1, 27 Mai 2016

Stayed for 2 nights with my daughter we really liked it here , was a bit old fashioned and shabby in places but very clean and our room , no 56, was great . Very quiet overlooking the garden with a view of the sea. If we stayed there again would definitely ask for this room again. Only small niggle was there was no bath only a shower which was ok but the shower curtain kept wrapping itself around you and also blocking the plughole so the tray almost overflowed! If they could replace the curtain with glass it would be fine. But overall a really nice Hotel in a great position. Breakfast was lovely and Sunday lunch was great too and very good value. Lovely walks into Felpham Village and Bognor Regis along the seafront, very flat and nice views. Didn't try the hotels swimming pool as looked a bit small and not very deep!

"Holiday"
Graham P, 25 Mai 2016

The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful seaside position and view. However: The reception staff offered few smiles and were, we felt, overly formal The swimming pool was uninviting as it was dark, claustrophobic and had no pool-side showers which was a nuisance The toilet in our room was an impractical shape i.e. difficult to keep clean! Car parking later in the evening, with “White Van Man” residents, was often impossible. Is this a family hotel or a contract workers hostel? The décor is tired and needs to be updated. The room power sockets are in impractical positions particularly for phone and toothbrush charging. This could be a lovely hotel but, in our opinion, work needs to be carried out urgently to continue to attract families.

"Great weekend "
Christine W, 22 Mai 2016

We had an excellent weekend at the Beachcroft. We stayed in the Penthouse which was wonderful. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and huge lounge. Moreover, it had a fantastic panoramic view of the sea and foreshore from its large balcony. We would highly recommend staying in the penthouse. As usual, food in the restaurant was exceptional. Service was outstanding. I would like to thank the staff for their excellent care and attention to detail. We have already booked our next visit. Can't wait.

"Superb location, tired decoration."
Asiljo2454, 21 Mai 2016

We stayed here in April 2016 The hotel is situated at the end of a small no through road on the left, after parking the car we made our way into the hotel. We were greeted by a smiley receptionist and checked in. Our room was up one flight of stairs on the right. A spacious room, for a twin bedded room, my sister and I have stayed in a few over the years. The room was clean but the décor rather tired and the beds took a bit of getting used to. The TV in our room have quite a few intermittent channels, but as we were out and about most of our stay this wasn't a problem. The hotel has an indoor pool, we took a look but it didn't temp us in, it was rather small and looked a bit claustrophobic. The hotel was quiet at night time, so we slept well. Breakfast was average, choices as you'd expect in a hotel but of average quality. Cooked breakfasts made to order. The waiting staff could be a bit happier for their guests as they are there on holiday or a breakaway over a weekend period so it would of been good to see smiles rather than straight faces.

"Nice seaside location"
G81RMO, 21 Mai 2016

Hotel is right on the sea front, my room had a view of the sea. Rooms and corridors are a little dated but everything was in working order. Can be difficult to park if you arrive at the hotel after 5pm

"Discovering Bognor Regis"
Hanna D, 18 Mai 2016

Stayed 2 nights in Beachcroft Hotel - great location overlooking unspoilt water. We had a room on the first floor - staircase rather steep , if you have a problem with walking , don't take this room! Comfortable bed , shower room clean . English breakfast with a good choice . We did not book a table while checking in, so had to go out for a pub dinner, as they were rather busy till 7.30 pm. Following night there was 60's nostalgia night, so we stayed in - it was fun. Live band playing all the hits from the past. Overall just an average seaside hotel in a pleasant location.

"21st birthday family luncheon - fabulous"
Briggs2013, 14 Mai 2016

The staff at the Beachcroft are all extremely professional yet friendly and they all went out of their way to ensure that we had a memorable occasion for our son. The table layout and surroundings were perfect. Having visited before, for our daughter's graduation, we had no hesitation in booking again with grandparents, for this occasion. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was superb, If we lived in Felpham now, we would be there all the time especially with the events that they hold. The Beachcroft has found a winning formula and comes highly recommended.

"Wedding Reception"
Simon B, 11 Mai 2016

My wife and i attended a wedding reception at the above hotel, we didn't stay the night as we were local however we did have a three course meal and evening buffet. The staff were very attentive to our needs and were very pleasant. The food for the main reception was average, however sticky toffee pudding was good. The evening buffet had a good selection and the resident DJ played a great set of dancy music.

"The fourth star is because of the staff"
CLJMG, 11 Mai 2016

This hotel is ideal for a weekend break or a two day stay over. We found the room to be comfortable and quiet, bathroom was all in order if not a little dated. The breakfast choices seemed good, being continentals though we found it lacking some items we like, saying that though my wife said the porridge was nice, served with fruit. The staff were very professional and pleasant and if I ever have a reason to visit Bognor again one day I am sure I would book this hotel.

"recent upgrades"
roysturges, 09 Mai 2016

We have visited the Beachcroft many times over the years and have always found the management, staff, food and the rooms to be of a very high standard, not to mention the excellent location. On a our last visit over the May bank holiday we found the lovely garden had been revamped. All the rooms had new kettles, telephones, clock radios, irons and ironing boards, while the restaurant has a new more varied menu, inluding a bigger variety of ice creams. We stayed in the new penthouse suite on a previous visit and can recommend it for family use as it can sleep six. Any hotel is only as good as the people who run and work in it, and those at the Beachcroft are a big asset to it's success.

"Excellent weekend"
641buster, 08 Mai 2016

Just returned from an excellent 2 night stay at this really friendly beach hotel. All the staff were so attentive and nothing was to much trouble. The chef cooked delicious and well presented meals. The choice at breakfast was comprehensive with the hot drinks and food being served to the guests at their tables by caring and smiling staff. The hotel is of a traditional style and we found it most comfortable and very clean. Has it own car park and we were not charged for using it which makes a nice change nowadays. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Highly recommend "
Daniella W, 05 Mai 2016

The hotel is lovely, clean and in a great location. All the staff are very helpful, polite and welcoming. Great food too :) The beach is a stones throw away to enjoy lovely walks and views. Not tried the swimming pool yet but I'm sure I will. As a woman travelling for business on her own I feel very comfortable and have been made to feel at comfort too. Looking forward to coming back for the next 3 weeks.

"Relaxing short break"
James N, 05 Mai 2016

This traditional hotel is well sited at the top of a short dead end road and close to the sea. On arrival we were welcomed by a very bright and bubbly receptionist, Kerrie. Having taken my 90+ Mother-in-law we were most happy with the room allocated for her on the ground floor. All in all a good friendly hotel.

"Relaxing traditional hotel"
JON O, 04 Mai 2016

Excellent friendly and professional staff, clean and comfortable bedrooms and expansive sea views made this a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Good freshly cooked food was also much appreciated. There is an indoor pool with basic changing facilities and a beach side garden both of which add to this hotel's amenities

"Would return again tomorrow"
Terrence R, 29 Avril 2016

An excellent hotel both in staff and outlook. Need I say more! Food was very appetising and service not rushed. A relaxing venue for a holiday break. Would recommend the hotel very highly as the ambiance was extremely attractive and welcolming.

"Friendly and helpful "
Linda O, 26 Avril 2016

With an emergency on a Saturday night we called the hotel for a room very late, not only did they answer the phone happy and fresh voiced they also waited for us to get to the hotel and welcome us in. That meant so much to us. Not expecting much we walked in and was pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated it was for the style of the building. We had no time to research we just needed a room, I'm glad this one was our sanctuary. Never judge a book by its cover. The room was clean and accomodating. Breakfast was amazing with a menu or cold buffet. The second night we needed to change our room to sleep our son, with no hesitation we were changed with not only for a third bed but we were not charged any more. Thank you guys for our lovely stay, you were brilliant in a time of our need and you didn't even know. We'll be back. PS our son works at butlins which is 20 mins walk along the beach or 8 mins from the front entrance.

"Relaxing weekend"
J150505, 19 Avril 2016

We have just returned from another relaxing weekend at the Beachcroft Hotel. Staff were brilliant as usual and gave us a really warm welcome. Since our last visit new kettles, mugs and tea trays have been placed in the rooms and the WiFi has been upgraded. Food and service was excellent as usual. It is such a delight to have a hot breakfast served at your table. As usual the silver cutlery was highly polished. The hotel has a fantastic location right on the edge of the sea in a relatively quiet area. It provides a good base for walking along the coast (and for retail therapy at Chichester!). There was plenty of room to park at the hotel. Book a sea view room for stunning views and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

"Our first visit to Best Western Beachcroft Hotel."
965jackie1943, 19 Avril 2016

We found the Beachcroft Hotel quite easy, the road signs were clear and the hotel was just a walk from Felpham Village and the shops. The car park was adequate, right outside the hotel so no walking was required to get to the reception desk. The staff at reception desk were helpful, we went to our room, which was at the front of the hotel facing the sea, pleasantly surprised at the room which was a nice size with a king size bed, also there was iron, ironing board, and kettle and cups. Also the room was lovely and warm. The hotel is right on the beach. The staff at the hotel were so helpful and the food was very good, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beachcroft Hotel. Our breakfast & evening meals were excellent. Our stay at the Beachcroft Hotel was most enjoyable.

"Family Get-together"
209SusanG209, 16 Avril 2016

We booked a function room for a family get-together. The room and service were excellent- nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We ordered a buffet and were very impressed at the quality and variety of food that was provided. The hotel's location is perfect and we felt very well looked after. Couldn't fault the hotel and can thoroughly recommend it.

"Great Location & Friendly Service"
Ray and Donna S, 10 Avril 2016

Room was comfortable, reasonably priced. Location right on the English Channel. Breakfasts were exceptional and again, reasonably priced. Service at this hotel is phenomenal. Extra points for Susan, who taught us how to navigate through Roundabouts. We had sought out other advice, but Susan's instructions got us through our trip. Bar is excellent and quiet so that we could hear each other talk.

"Stunning views"
Jane A, 05 Avril 2016

In a party of 3 couples staying for a special celebration. From check in to check out our stay was faultless. The staff are what make this hotel. From housekeeping through to the kitchen staff they could not have been nicer or any more helpful. Yes look close enough and you can find fault with the fabric of the hotel but the welcome more than makes up for this. Have stayed before and will be back.

"Family dinner"
MrsHoliday55, 03 Avril 2016

There were 16 people in my group, came here for Good Friday evening dinner. Everything ran smoothly, we ordered our starter and main meal at the same time. Starters were at our table very quickly, we did not have to wait for our mains, the whole operation was well timed. Staff were attentive, food very good. Table was in the corner with a couple of small screens to give us a degree of privacy. I did not realise the bar did not open until 6pm, my guests and I had arrived at 5.30. My fault, I should have not assumed the bar would be open. All in all a very good evening had by all.

"Happy family Easter holiday"
JohnAndEstelle, 02 Avril 2016

Three generations of our family stayed at the penthouse flat at the Beachcroft over Easter. The flat is lovely - spacious and well furnished. We had three bedrooms for six adults, and two single beds in the study area for the children. One bedroom had an en suite bathroom, and there is an additional shared bathroom We shared a large living room which has doors onto a large balcony with beautiful sea views. The staff are so helpful: from the moment we enquired about booking the flat to the moment we left the hotel everyone was friendly, polite, cheerful and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Meals in the restaurant are of a high standard. The children loved having the swimming pool on site, and Butlins nearby. For our family the hotel was a perfect place to relax and enjoy time together.

"Needs a refurbish "
Mag1233, 27 Mars 2016

My family stayed here for I night over Easter I have stayed here before when it was just beachcroft I was so disappointed it was so dismal my room which was not cheap seemed very cold damp and smelly the breakfast for 11 pound adult 8 child is absolutely a joke we could have eaten in the lobster pot much cheaper I think next time I come to Felpham I would look for near by travel lodge 110 for family room which was not even a nice room is a joke would I go back never

"Bognor"
25rayb, 26 Mars 2016

Although disappointed with Bognor itself the hotel was clean comfortable, provides a good restaurant and employs exceptionally helpful staff. Not having lift and having narrow steepish staircases are the only downside

"Very poor for the price"
Travelmuch2402, 18 Mars 2016

£140 a night needs a good renovation very old and shabby. My room smelt of grease from the kitchen. When I washed my teeth the bath plug hole bubbled up and feaces came up. Then problem with plumbing noise up from 3am checked out early. Was told to drowned the noise out put a pillow over my head by the receptionist. Then when checked out was charged £3.23 for going over my allowance. Also seemed to be a lot of Senior Citizens staying. Requires big improvements massively. Restaurant was good and the staff here were brilliant very apologetic and polite.

"close enough to the sea to hear the waves"
MarinaDeux, 14 Mars 2016

A lovely spot and a comfortable hotel. All of the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. We ate in the restaurant once and the food was lovely, as was breakfast - the vegetarian sausage was particularly nice. The bathroom was nice and warm thanks to a radiator in there. The internet speed was actually good, which surprised me as I find that most hotels do not live up to their claims. I would be happy to stay here again if I am in the area.

"Nice hotel, Great location."
MalcolmLowing, 12 Mars 2016

A nice hotel located right by the sea and within easy walking distance of Bognor and the village of Felpham. We paid £89 for 2 nights bed and breakfast for the two of us via a Groupon deal. We had a sea view - although apparently we should have paid extra for that. The bed was (I guess) a king size being bigger than our double at home. We didn't have dinner at the hotel (preferring to explore the local pubs) but the breakfasts were good. The Friday steak night seemed good value at £28 for steaks for two plus a bottle of wine. There is a free car park and we never had trouble getting a place. There is a small heated indoor pool that we didn't use. A hotel with a bit of character in a great location with good food and nice staff. Would definitely return.

"Golden Wedding Party"
P176MYroberth, 10 Mars 2016

50th anniversary party held in the Beachcroft was all we expected. Organisation and booking of guests was simple, service exemplary, especially Manager Phillip and bar staff, buffet food excellent, breakfast scrambled eggs to die for! We really couldn't fault the entire occasion. Well done Beachcroft.

"best western beechcroft hotel"
sara d, 07 Mars 2016

lovely position, a few steps to the sea front. rooms are very tired and old fashioned, the same as the carpets.staff are freindly, breakfast was ok. we paid £77 for a sunday nite early march stay. would have had the hump if i paid the normal £115 per nite! the bed was rock hard and very uncomftable in room 1.takes a long time for the water to get hot. seems like they have spent as less as possible on everything, relying on the butlins overspill.(butlins is a 5 min walk).i book it about £50-£60 quids worth

"wonderful mothers day"
98bubbles, 07 Mars 2016

Food was excellent, tentative waitress & waiters. Food was delivered on time and beautifully presented. One of the best mothers day lunches I have ever had! We will return most definitely next year. Of course you can have a very healthy walk along the promenade to blow the cobwebs away.

"Good food and service"
Laura J, 06 Mars 2016

Went to the beachcroft hotel for Mother's Day lunch. Great food and excellent service from the team. Staff were very friendly. Have previously stayed before also and and would recommend to friends and family!!! Will definitely be back again soon!

"You couldn't stay any closer to the sea!!!!!!"
lizzlewis, 29 Février 2016

The welcome we received was very professional and obviously from a person who loves her job! Our room is a sea view and you can hear the waves crashing on the beach, amazing! The meal in the restaurant was slow in arriving, but when it did, it was fantastic. If you want close proximity to the sea, this is it!!

"Good choice for Bognor"
LondonTravelAgent, 29 Février 2016

We stayed here for one night for a local event and our stay was overall good. The hotel is next to the beach and walking distance to Butlins but a bit hard to find as down a narrow street in the middle of a housing estate. The car park is large and the hotel also has a swimming pool which we did not use. The staff are very nice, swift check in process and easy keycard access to the rooms. Wifi was poor in the room though. The room itself was large and the bed was very large and comfortable. The rest of the room I would describe as standard 3 star, old furniture, carpet and curtains, not dirty but just old. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was hot and cold but the room had an iron/ironing board, tea, coffee and biscuits and bathroom amenities. I have no complaints as I'm sure it's probably one of the nicest places to stay in Bognor but it is not luxurious by any means. The cooked breakfast was very nice, the buffet items could be improved upon with a larger selection. I only wouldn't stay again because I don't plan on returning to Bognor - ever.

"Winter break"
DavidTart, 24 Février 2016

Great end of winter seaside break at the ideal hotel for us. Its location is perfect, the staff were absolutely great and helped make it a really good experience. The food was excellent, the rooms fine and the facilities evrything we needed - even a swimming pool.

"Nice hotel on the coast with good food"
jetboot, 22 Février 2016

Stopped whilst on business in the area. Requested an upgrade as diamond for life member. Was upgraded to a room which was large clean and had a view Had diner in the restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was of a good standard All of the staff were friendly and very professional. I would happily return to hotel if working in the area again

"Excellent Service & Caring Staff"
hev1954, 21 Février 2016

My husband and I have just returned from a short break at the Beachcroft. Kerrie Assistant Manager and the team made us most welcome and could not do enough for us. The food was beautifully cooked and bar was well stocked with a good selection of wines. My husband is disabled and we had an accessible room but our only complaint would be that a wet room would have been so much easier and would be a good addition to the hotel if renovations take place. However, we did have a walk in shower which was fine for a short break. We will definately be returning to this lovely location.

"Excellent location"
David H, 21 Février 2016

Have stayed several times whilst attending business at the University of Chichester. The hotel has direct access on the promenade at Felpham and you can walk to Bognor Regis (West) and towards Littlehampton (East). The rooms I have stayed in over four years have all had sea views and have spacious and comfortable though some of the bathrooms have would benefit from refurbishment. The breakfast and evening meals in the hotel offer good choice and the evening meal has generally been very good though on the last occasion I stayed I was told I could not dine in the dining room as there was a function on but I could dine in my room or the bar - for a guest on paid-for half board basis I should be able to dine in the dining room. They offer a full cooked breakfast which can be generous if you want the full but if you only want bacon and egg it is one rasher and one egg - no taking account that you didn't have a sausage, etc. That said it is served sizzling hot on plate ... no luke warm help-yourself dried out bacon and hard eggs under a warming lamp! The snag: no lift in the hotel and I would not recommend staying here you have any sort of mobility problem as the staircases are narrow and steep (there may be ground floor rooms that I haven't seen).

"Christmas Lunch"
jonfj1, 14 Février 2016

My parents took the whole family here for Christmas lunch and it's safe to say we were all pleasantly surprised. The staff were numerous and attentive without being intrusive the food was delicious and best all, hot. We didn't stay in the hotel but from the look of it, it would be good if you could get a room at the front to get a great view of the sea and beach.

"Best of Bognor"
Xentika, 09 Février 2016

We had a great time at this hotel, fabulous warm swimming pool, excellent breakfast and evening meal. The staff were very helpful and the location of the hotel is brilliant, almost on the beach! We stayed for 2 nights and wish it had been longer.

"FEBRUARY STAY"
116gn, 08 Février 2016

We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The food and service was very good. They have a small swimming pool which was set at a lovely temperature. There is no shower in this area though so that felt strange. It is right on the seafront and you can walk both ways along the promenade. Butlins is about a 10min walk away and there is a lovely park with café about 15mins walk away.

"aggie996"
aggie996, 02 Février 2016

We had super birthday weekend staying here the location is right on the beach the staff in the hotel were all exceptional and couldn't do enough for you having missed breakfast a very kind and thoughtful waitress offered us orange juice and cereal. .will definitely be going back again

"Last Minute Trip"
LondonFrancesca, 25 Janvier 2016

I booked a few days before I travelled as I read this hotel was near the sea. Just a few steps outside the hotel and you can walk along the promenade one way to Bognor and I walked the other way which seemed to go on for miles, this is an area frequented by dog walkers so if you are not keen on dogs it may not be to your liking. I parked outside the hotel late sunday afternoon and there was space in the car park. The hotel is down a small road not sure where you would park if for any reason the hotel car park was full. It was about 3.30 when I checked in and the lady at reception was so friendly and helpful and she managed to accommodate my request regarding my room, she gave excellent customer service. I enquired about a sunday roast as I could see people eating in the restaurant. She said she would check with the restaurant and ring me in my room. She duly did and rang me in my room unfortunately the roasts were finished at this late stage but I could have something else off the menu. I declined as I really wanted the roast. But I was impressed at the level of service at this hotel. The room had a lovely sea view, it seemed a little dark which was a shame and the carpet was stained in places, I am sure with a clean it would look better. But overall the room was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. My room had a small curtained off area that was a small room with bunk beds, ideal for a young family. Room 32, the toilet seat in the bathroom askew it needed re positioning and the pedal bin needed replacing and the top of the bathroom tiles dusting. On a positive note the bathroom did have nice fluffy towels. I am being picky but get these few small details right and it would improve the room and checking the room folder there was still 2015 details of special events, which I binned. The room was well heated and the bed was extremely comfortable and I had a good nights sleep listening to the sea. The english breakfast next morning was very good served by a very polite attentive gentleman. What excellent staff the hotel has just pay a bit more attention to detail regarding maintenance, I hope the manager reads this. I would stay again and hopefully get chance to sample the sunday roast. The hotel has a small pool which I did not visit but towels are provided.

"Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff"
KimPearce, 17 Janvier 2016

My wife and I had a two night break here with dinner each evening and had an enjoyable time. A good welcome from reception when we arrived and the receptionist was extremely helpful in telling us about the area as we had not stayed around here before. The hotel is situated right next to the coastal promenade with great views from the sea facing rooms. A nice bar area and restaurant with big picture windows. Excellent service during the evening with friendly staff. Food was very good, with a variety of dishes on offer. We slept well in our double room, with the sound of the waves in the background. Room was of a reasonable size and was kept very tidy. It had efficient heaters which had easy to understand controls. The hotel has a small indoor swimming pool which was nice to enjoy on one of our afternoons and we had it all to ourselves. Overall a very good weekend in a lovely family run hotel.

"Party Evening"
Phil L, 16 Janvier 2016

Tried the party evening out last night and it was really great. We weren't sure what to expect but everything was first class. The three course meal had a really good and varied selection and it was excellent. What really impressed us was the attitude and efficiency of the staff who were brilliant right from the moment we arrived. We were a bit concerned as to what the Disco would be like, as previous experience at some other venues have Discos with volume levels that prevent any form of verbal communication. This one was perfect just the right level and the DJ judged the age and taste of those present spot on with a varied and really good mix of Music. Definitely something we will be doing again, and would fully recommend the Beachcroft if you want a really good "quality" night out.

"Christmas Dinner Dance - Great Evening"
RussellAA, 02 Janvier 2016

I recently took eleven other people for their Xmas Party night in Mid December and we all really did enjoy the food, entertainment and the service was fantastic. We all sat together close to the dance floor and the meal itself was top quality, well presented and plenty of it. The Disco on the night was brilliant and the DJ kept the whole evening running along well with quizzes, prizes and a raffle. The evening cost per person was £30 but it was good value for the price, drinks a little expensive but no real wait to get served at the bar. I will be returning next Xmas...many thanks!

"Very best Christmas ever"
J150505, 29 Décembre 2015

We have just spent the very best Christmas ever at the Beachcroft Hotel. Last year we said it was the best ever, but this year was better still. We had an excellent Christmas holiday in a calm, peaceful environment with caring staff and fantastic, more-than-ample, food. What a wonderful experience. We left completely rested and relaxed after the festivities. This must have been our fifth Christmas at the Beachcroft. The hotel gets better and better. Christmas lunch was splendid with a wide menu to choose from. Obviously, I had the works: smoked trout pate, turkey with the trimmings, and an assiette of sweets including Christmas pudding. In the evening we had a huge buffet to enjoy, compliments of the hotel management. On three other evenings I had the chef's signature dish - Chicken Diane. The fried potatoes were nice and crisp. Highly recommended. The hotel is situated on the sea front with great walks to the east and west along the sea front. On one day we walked as far as Pagham to the west and as far as Littlehampton to the east. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel. Book direct to choose a room that suits your needs! The hotel's forte are the staff who are highly trained and dedicated to make guests' stays the best ever. Our thanks to all of them for looking after us so well again over the holiday period. We are now looking forward to Christmas 2016!

"Great Christmas 2015"
Christine W, 29 Décembre 2015

We arrived a day earlier than the usual four day package. As ever, friendly service from reception staff. Always helpful and accommodating. Hotel is on a lovely location close to the sea in Felpham. You can walk east towards Littlehampton or West towards Pagham. Either way the walks are excellent. The evening meals are excellent as ever beautifully cooked and presented. I can't wait to return.

"We would liked to have stayed longer...."
traceywFrance, 26 Décembre 2015

We booked one night at the Beachcroft Hotel in Felpham near Bognor Regis as we were on our way to the Isle of Wight for a Christmas break. The hotel was right on the beach with plenty of parking. Our room was quite spacious but, to be honest, nothing special, although it was very clean. We decided to eat dinner in the hotel. The bar and restaurant areas were looking very festive, staff polite and attentive and the food very good. Breakfast was a full English with a selection of fruit juices and cereals, which was also very good. The hotel staff were welcoming and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would like!e to have stayed longer. We would not hesitate to return, maybe in the summer to enjoy the beautiful location by the sea.

"Nice stay"
Joe D, 16 Décembre 2015

Hotel was clean and comfortable the receptionist Susan was excellent, nothing was to much trouble for her, nice freindly welcome. Room was spotless bed comfortable, bathroom and shower really good. Biscuits in room with your coffee nice little touch

"Beachcroft Hotel - Felpham"
Patrick H, 16 Décembre 2015

What a pleasant surprise - amply and easy parking at the Hotel, great location with wonderful views. We pre-booked for one night, Friday 11th December on a B&B tariff - excellent value. The room was sea facing and was wonderful, all the amenities in the room you could ask for, with excellent wifi connection free of charge. The room was very well presented, clean and comfortable with ample cupboard space and hangers. The bar was well appointed and the service was good. Reception was excellent - very polite and efficient staff especially Jan - thank you. Breakfast was first class - all freshly made to order with again polite and excellent service. As we had booked on a B&B tariff we asked Jan at reception if she knew of any places close by we could eat ( The hotel was busy with Christmas dinners - there was place enough for us but we thought lets try something different.) She suggested The Fox Inn or The Thatched House, which were both in walking distance from the hotel - excellent service and recommendations. On the day of departure we asked if we could leave our car in the hotel car park while we went for a walk and lunch - of course we could, and another recommendation for a lunch venue Lobster Pot - again excellent.

"Great location"
Bob R, 29 Novembre 2015

Booked a one night stay as a break. Hotel is located right next to the beach and is an ideal location for walks along the sea front and into town. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't often return to a hotel for a leisure break, but may make an exception to return in the summer time.

"Excellent Staff"
Romaine S, 29 Novembre 2015

Booked in for 3 nights as needed a break. The hotel location is wonderful, walk through the car park, you are on the seafront. Room was good, bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. Staff are friendly, efficient and professional. I enjoyed my stay and will return.

"Very enjoyable stay in surprisingly good hotel."

Myself and my family had a very enjoyable short break recently at The Beachcroft hotel. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The staff particularly in the restaurant were professional, helpful and courteous. Ideal location. I hope to return again soon.

The hotel is in an excellent situation on the seafront. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The quality of the food was excellent ( we had evening meal and breakfast). We will definitely book there again.

"Nice but dated"
Squeakyman, 10 Octobre 2015

Nice hotel and staff very good and friendly. However room overlooking sea a bit dated and suffering from wear and tear. Bath chipped, curtains not wide enough to cover window and decor very old. A bit overpriced for the state it is in but meets its purpose if you need to stay in the area.

"BEACHCROFT HOTEL, BOGNOR REGIS"

A very friendly hotel, staff , food , and location excellent. We did request walk in shower, allocated bath with shower over but rectified on second day. However there is no lift to the higher floors for disabled clients it is ideal situation for walking along the flat promenade area to Bognor.

"Wedding Reception July"
NicolaTravels, 04 Octobre 2015

We had our wedding reception here in July 2015. Service from all the staff is excellent. They all go out of there way to make everything perfect. Phil helped us with our booking and was really good at making sure we thought about every aspect. Rooms are a little dated but still comfortable. Only thing is there is no lifts and steep stairs. If this is an issue for you make sure you ask for a ground floor room! Lovely little garden over looking the sea. Cant beat falling asleep listening to the waves. A lot of the rooms have wonderful sea views too. Food was excellent though they struggled a bit with breakfast in the morning with such a large group but this was the first and only thing that wasn't 110%. The venue were left to decorate the room for us with decorations we supplied a brief and they did an amazing job, even better than we could have imagined. If you are thinking of using this hotel for your wedding/event don't hesitate! you wont regret it!

"Very pleasant stay by the sea"

Juststayed one night but all was fine in this smallish friendly hotel. Had a swim in very warm pool, breakfast pretty good, didn't have evening meal. You can walk both ways along the promenade straight from the hotel. Very convenient for Chichester, Goodwood.

"Lovely weekend break"
Chris M, 22 Septembre 2015

Spent a very nice weekend at this great hotel in a lovely location. Our room was beautifully clean and bright overlooking the beach with wonderful views. Nice 15 minute walk along the promenade to Bognor Regis and within easy reach of surrounding seaside towns. The food in the restaurant was of a very high quality and the staff in the restaurant were extremely courteous and efficient and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to make each mealtime a delight. We will certainly return for another stay.

"Overnight Stay - September 2015"
Sue D, 16 Septembre 2015

This is a lovely warm and friendly hotel with comfortable rooms and excellent staff, who cannot do enough for you, i found everyone friendly polite and happy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, very clean and have all of the facilities needed. The food is very good and breakfast freshly cooked - which is a bonus as most hotels leave semi warm food out for buffet service. The hotel has ample parking and a pool, which i did not have a chance to use this time. The only negative is no lift, and two flights of stairs which narrow the higher you go, but he hotel and staff make up for this minor shortfall and this will not stop me from booking again in the future when i am in this area.
