V8 Hotel Motorworld Region Stuttgart, BW Premier Collection

Room is shabby and although supposedly "themed" we struggled to work out what the theme is. Some third rate mural on the wall that would have struggled for a GCSE grade C. No bedside table on one side of the bed. Chipped furniture. No mini-bar fridge to keep water cold. Cheap office chairs made to look like car seats. A tablet computer that wouldn't boot, no idea what it was for. Bar staff with no idea how to change a barrel, we waited 30 minutes for a drink. No food available at 2pm except stale panini and dried up looking cakes. Nice cars to look at but I just parked better in the car park. 4 star? Don't make me laugh.

Booked 2 themes rooms and 1 regular room. Both themed rooms did not have working AC as it was broken. Was offered a fan or a temporary room to sleep in at night. Bathrooms has no doors or curtains which makes showering with non-spouse travelers very inconvenient. Not all towels were changed out during stay. Staff was all very nice but didn't really know how to address the inconvenience of the broken AC rooms. Suggested that they discounted the rooms but was advised they could not. They offered 2 free breakfast, but we had 6 people in our party. Lots of noise at 7am as service dept started moving cars at that time. Would have been better off living at a nicer hotel and visiting the hotel/motor world.

Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel located just outside Stuttgart in Boblingen. We stayed in the "Made in Germany" room and thought it would be a fun hotel for our automotive vacation to visit the Porsche and Mercedes Museums. While the women who worked at the front desk were wonderfully kind, friendly and helpful, the hotel room bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the playful aspects of the room decor, overall, we cannot recommend staying here. The construction of the hotel part of the building is quite poor. It's as if a bunch of "do-it--yourselfers" who are not familiar with construction built the hotel rooms. The hallway has cheap carpet and the walls were poorly constructed as if someone hastily put up drywall and left it looking unfinished. The room itself where the bed was located was satisfactory; especially as it had windows on two walls, but the wall on which car-related signs and an electric sign were located was a bit sloppy in terms of its arrangement. My husband is an electrician who commented on how the way they did the electric on the wall was not up to code. The few drawers for clothing were beat up. There was dust on the base mouldings. The bathroom was quite depressing. The tile was poorly installed and crooked. The shower and toilet area felt as if someone who didn't know how to do construction built them. The toilet area was also dirty. There was a tiny, inexpensive-looking sink with poor lighting and skimpy, very low-quality towels. The whole area was poorly constructed. Throughout the bathroom area and the hallway leading to the rooms, there were these hatch doors likely so that one could access HVAC and plumbing, but there were so many of them and they looked so cheap; again, making the place appear unfinished. The location is also 30 minutes from the museums, so it makes sense to stay closer to Stuttgart when one's purpose is to visit the museums, and then perhaps take an afternoon to visit the area around the V8 hotel with its high-end car dealerships and car storage facility. (If you do visit Boblingen, we highly recommend a neighborhood Greek restaurant called Gruner Turm.) I owe a debt of gratitude to other Trip Advisor reviewers who mentioned to review the bill carefully when departing as the man at the desk at 6:00am tried to cheat us. He knew we were in a rush, quickly handed me the bill and extended his hand for my credit card. I took the time to read the bill and I noticed that he charged us for an additional night. When I complained, he acted like there was nothing he could do. It wasn't until I showed him on my phone the email from the V8 Hotel which clearly stated the amount we should be charged that he was suddenly able to figure out how to remove the charge for the extra night. (sigh) I felt like he intentionally tried to cheat us. So, for all of the reasons in this email, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for one night on a business trip. Great quality room with brilliant motor themed decor. Great bar area. great service at reception on check in. Breakfast choices and quality were very nice. Recommended.

Booked 2 nights as a surprise for my husband 60th birthday. From booking through to departure, the hotel was so helpful. I opted for a themed room, when my first request was only available on the 2nd night they suggested I could either choose a different one or if I didn't mind changing rooms have two. Obviously, that seemed the best of both worlds! So we had Grand Prix Originals and Petrol head, both of which were amazing. I also asked if it could be decorated and a birthday cake left. They fulfilled all my requests, even leaving a little half sized bottle of bubbly Both rooms overlooked the Lamborghini garage, an experience in itself. Definitely book the breakfast , the choice just goes on and on from freshly squeezed orange juice, pretzels to pastries, honeycomb fruits and cereal. We also made use of the bar as the setting is awesome, and tried some schnapps amongst other things. A special mention to Daniel on reception who not only didn't let my surprises slip but super helpful, thoughtful and accommodating with our every request. We used the Strassebahn together to the Porsche museum, factory and to and from airport and found it really easy to navigate.

What a cool hotel for people who love cars! the room we had was great -- modern, air conditioned and lots of space. Super clean. The decorations were way cool. The location is the old Boblingen airport near the Mercedes factory. A very good breakfast buffet. And all around, the hotel is surrounded by some of coolest car dealers and shops. Porsche, McLaren, Lamborghini, Bentley, Maserati, Ferrari, Harley Davidson, and more! Plenty of good places to eat nearby, near a train station. Staff are very nice and helpful.

Room was comfortable; bed, shower, etc good and enough space. When one does not need major breakfast, there is a large bakery in 3 mins walk; just across the entry of the train station. Also in 3 mins, one can find a beer brewery for a good beer and food. Note: the entry of the parking garage is same as the one for Porsche; easy to miss the sign.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Modern, spacious with attentive hospitable staff. Good bar. Breakfast service can get overwhelmed if it's busy. McLaren and Pagani dealerships in reception area so great chance to pick up a bargain (!) Hotel has a motoring theme which isn't overdone. Based on the Motorworld site so ideal for petrolheads, €80 taxi ride to Porsche & Mercedes museums. Being picky…….could do with a door on the shower to stop flooding the bedroom floor plus towels were a bit rough ( now I sound like a Princess….)

Considerable, our expectations weren't met. But we decided to just use the breakfast! Sure there are better places in our area, price and service did not match. 3,-€ extra charge for Sunday why? - we finally could avoid that extra charge. Reservation for 8 people - nothing prepared.

If you are car/motorsport fan, choose this hotel. Our room was basic, not theme room, its okay normal room. Funny, handsoap was beetle VW. there was a McLaren carshop at the hotel reception, also there was old mercedes between glasswall. NICE! Other buiding was car collections, maserati showroom, carservice for lamborghini , etc... and all You can see for frii. Breakfast was normal, though good. Staff was oka, one evening we ate in restaurant, service littlebitt.... not ws good. REWE supermarket located 1km, sam mcdonalds+shopping centre. Bahnhof 500m, You can go anywhere. location is Böblingen, not Stuttgart, big mercedes fabric is other side autobahn, but mercedes museum located in 40min other side. Photos C JIIPEE

We stayed in the room with a Porsche bed. The room was very nice, good-looking and well functioning. It was also quiet during our stay from Friday late afternoon to Saturday morning. We enjoyed looking at all the nice cars in the lobby and across the street. We had a nice dinner in the small restaurant with open kitchen and next to the bar. We enjoyed the good service from the young people.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of the museum package which included entry to Porsche and Mercedes Benz museums. Also stayed in a themed room which was a bit of fun. The breakfast was excellent. Evening meals had different options but were more expensive. Easy to get to museums by train. Interesting to have so many car garages around the hotel. Also a novelty to potter through the mix of cars inside motor world. Everything was fine until we checked out and the Lady on reception over charged us. I showed my email confirmation to show the cost I'd been quoted and the lady was very rude and agreed it was their mistake and I could pay the cost I'd been quoted “if it was as so important for me to do so”. She then didn't speak again nor acknowledge us after paid and left. She had a poor attitude especially when it was her mistake. We left feeling bit let down as the rest of the holiday had been enjoyable.

My son and I stayed one night during our ‘car' tour of Southern Germany. Really close to Mercedes and Porsche museums and Motorworld ( onsite). We stayed in the English classic Jaguar room. Very unique, very large, high standard, very well equipped room. If you love cars you have to stay here. Even the lobby has cars displayed and 2 ultra high end two dealerships. We did have a few problems accessing the parking garage and the hotel and it's sister across the way are really the only eating options if you don't wish to drive somewhere. We ate at the V8, food was very good, a little overpriced and ( like so many places since Covid) a little unstaffed. However, the hotel is definitely 4star plus and well worth a visit.

A themed hotel, modern (we stayed in the newer of the two hotels) and stayed in the Porsche room. Yes, its a little kitch… but perfect if you a rev-head who wants something different. The staff are brilliant (restaurant and bar staff), reception staff need to be more welcoming and engaging. The opportunity to explore the cars for sale and in storage in the old hotel building is too good an opportunity to miss. A short (20 min) drive to the Porsche museum and slightly longer journey to Mercedes Benz museum.

Quite hard to write a review as some of the stay was great, some not so much. First the good. If you love cars you'll love this hotel. The collections of cars, which are free to wander round, are excellent, although they are probably best appreciated if you already know something about cars (Or as I was are with someone who does). There is a lot to see, and all on the site. The room was nicely decorated, but as we were in the 'Classic' hotel there is no a/c . I don't think this was that clear from the website (we booked directly). This also didn't benefit the free gift of a bottle of water and a chocolate car - the water was warm and the car was mush. The parking is additional which isn't great for a hotel that has so much available & the breakfast is really expensive. It was the customer service that really let the hotel down though. The lady on reception was perfectly friendly, but gave really bad directions to the underground car park - possibly because some of the site was closed for an event and the exit to the area we had parked in had changed. The lady at breakfast completely ignored us when we arrived and we had to go over to find out who needed to check our room number, and even then was quite 'brisk'. The worst was the barman though. He seemed perfectly fine when we went before dinner, but when we went afterwards he seemed run off his feet & appeared to take this out on customers. After waiting for ages to get served he took the order, seemed personally offended that one have us had ordered a cocktail (top tip - if you don't want to do cocktails don't have a cocktail menu)

Came back to the hotel following a meal out to have a drink with friends to be told the bar was closed by the bar tender but only because he wanted to go early, when we asked what time it closed it was 11 not 10 he then started an argument, when we approached the manager she was also completely unprofessional in her attitude and conduct , find somewhere that understands what customer service is , do not stay at this place you will be disappointed

A wonderful hotel, especially if you are into cars. Just entering the lobby you see two amazing McLaren supercars and a Shelby cobra to boot. The staff is super attentive and friendly (hello Daniel), and the whole experience is great. The themed rooms are worth additional mention, definitely go for that if you are a car aficionado.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the V8 Hotel any further. After my stay, I was negatively surprised why extra charges were deducted from my credit card weeks after my stay. I had to report this hotel via my credit card to get my money back. Very bad management and definitely not recommended!

We just returned from our weekend visit to the V8 Hotel and to say the experience surpassed expectations is an understatement. We took our son as a surprise trip for his 13th Birthday and he was so excited to see we were not only visiting MotorWorld but we were staying at the V8 Hotel. What a treat for him! We reserved the garage room and it was fantastic, spacious with plenty of room for a family of 3 plus great views (inside and outside). The hotel is super clean with attention to detail, the room had enough storage for all of us, many restaurants on-site or within walking distance but what really makes the difference Max the whole experience awesome is their customer service. Everyone was so polite and caring. They gave us recommendations that we followed and they were right on point. From the moment you arrive at the hotel you'll be thrilled to see the massive collection of cars old and new available to you. You can go for a flight or drive simulator if you have the time only a few steps away. The museum entrances were included in our rate as well as breakfast. Food was very good to start our day with omelets made to order and a vast selection of cold cuts, artisan breads, yogurts, granolas, fruits & pastries. Thank you for a memorable birthday. We are looking forward to our return.

We spent one night in the Jaguar Room and loved it. Hotel has lot to offer for car fans. You will have definitely fun here. Nice touch with the tablet available in the room. Great experience. Plenty of cafes or restaurants to pick from. Breakfast was modest but great selection. Location is perfect for any business people or families.

Amazing hotel, especially if you are a car lover. Restaurant is excellent, but pricey. Rooms are fab and the nearby Motorwelt is fascinating. Lovely cars all around the reception area too. I can highly recommend, especially if you need to visit the Daimler plant in Sindelfingen

I chose this hotel for my husband for our Valentine's Day get away. He's a huge car guy. We toured the Mercedes factory and the Porsche museum, the icing on the cake was the hotel with the car theme and all the beautiful cars in the lobby. The high end dealerships in the building and next to the hotel were great to go through. The rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly! I really enjoyed this hotel and we will stay here again when we visit the Porsche factory next time.

Top quality hotel and in expensive when i stayed, location is excellent to the airport if you want to stay outside Stuttgart, staff very friendly, rooms excellent condition, beds very comfortable, bar and restaurant excellent.

Awesome hotel and awesome area, topp service Petrol head mekka, we lived in the new hotel that also was super. Looking forward to the next visit, I have been there five time now, and still there is something new to see

Wow where do I start! Firstly I'm a car enthusiast so I will be biased but what impressed me the most was the staff. When checking in at 9.45pm I was told the gym and sauna was closing at 10 (not that I was interested) but could be kept open longer if I wanted to use them. At breakfast a lady called Janice went out of her way to fry eggs for me. Finally when checking out the reception staff gave us a bottle of water on the house too. Breakfast was good with wide variety too. Now include querky things like the car shaped soap, slippers, dressing gowns and car shaped pens etc I am happy to recommend and visit again. Thank you to the reception and Janice!

Wow, wow, wow! Everything was terrific, and so many special little features!Location is outstanding, rooms clean and super comfortable. Restaurant was A1, food great and plenty of other dining options within short walking distance. This is now our go-to place in Stuttgart!!! Will be recommending it to others!

What a hotel! Booked as a surprise birthday trip for my husband, I e-mailed the hotel many times re our booking and they always replied promptly and were very helpful. We chose one of the packages including a themed room with breakfast for 2 nights as well as tickets for the Porsche and Mercedes Museum. All was fabulous and the general Motorworld area is also fascinating. My only slight criticism is there were only 3 choices on the menu, which didn't change from day to day. I don't eat meat and they very kindly made me a vegetarian dish which was lovely. This wasn't a big problem as on the second night we ate at Tower 66 which was in Motorworld and very good. Breakfast was fabulous, loads of choice and of a very high standard. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I visited this very nice, car orientated hotel with some friends as part of a European road trip. Overall the hotel and surrounding car storage/sales facilities are amazing but some small things let the whole experience down. We checked in as one big group(ten people) yet it took over 30 mins of issues with keys, up and down from rooms 4 times, receptionist arguing on phone with her colleagues before I was eventually in my room. The room was very clean and tidy yet it was extremely hot during the night. I measured the room temp at over 27 degrees even though it was only 14 degrees outside. Car parking is in an secure underground garage but it was very expensive in my opinion and should be included in the room rate. Breakfast was very good and the staff were accommodating. I would return and I would recommend it.

Thus is a great hotel. They have gone all in on cars. If you stay in one of the theme rooms you are set for a great experience. Sleep in a car or like in our case in a room with illuminated engines on the walls. Downstairs you have the McLaren shop where you can indulge in dreams. Or go left to se a large number of vintage Mercedes or Porsche. This is so very fantastic. Or go across the street where you have an entire museum. Or look at Rolls Royce or Bentley or or. It really never stops because just across another street you have the Ferrari store. And great food. Several high class restaurants. But sincerest compliments to the chef this Sunday the 7/9. You make the best Bacon ever.

We stayed one night on June 5, 2018. Several months prior to our stay when I made the reservation, it appeared as if the hotel was preparing for an event as there was limited availability and the rates were considerably more expensive when compared to other dates. Considering our appointment at the nearby Mercedes Kundencenter was for June 6, I reserved a room for my mother and I so that we could be within close proximity to Mercedes Benz. Positive Aspects: Multilingual staff, appealing and unique décor, clean and spacious room, convenient to access as the hotel is located along the main road (We drove 3 hours from Füssen, which is actually an easy drive),convenient to Motorworld and Mercedes Benz Kundencenter (factory & customer service center), there is a nearby shopping mall within walking distance, and the hotel offers garage parking (for a fee). Areas for Improvement: The restaurant located on site and the restaurant across the property at the other V8 hotel are a bit overpriced. However, it is important to note that the restaurants operate independently from the hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel it was not clearly marked where we could park our car during the check-in process. Albeit there is a circular driveway between the two V8 properties and one could obviously park their car in the loop temporarily whilst checking in, at the time we arrived there were vendors setting up for an event and there was a large trailer with audio/visual equipment. Hence, we were unable to access the circular driveway. A suggestion for improvement is for the hotel to designate several of the parking spaces as "temporary check-in" parking. When I checked in the front-desk employee informed me that all had been paid in advance. I asked if it was necessary for me to present a credit card to have on file in the event I ordered food to the room, ordered a cocktail at the bar, etc. The employee assured me that all was set. This gave me the impression that my credit card information was on file considering I had used a credit card to pay in advance. Later that evening I ordered a cocktail from the bar. The next day upon checkout, nothing was brought to my attention in regard to the one cocktail I ordered. Because nothing was brought to my attention and because I signed the bar cheque the previous evening, I thought the logical way of handling the nominal charge (less than 15Euro) was to simply apply the charge to my credit card. To my surprise, a day or so later I received an email via Expedia stating that the manager of the hotel contacted Expedia to contact me. The email asked for me to reply with my credit card number to pay for the cocktail I ordered. However, within the same email, there was a disclaimer from Expedia stating that it is unsafe to provide credit card information via the message system and to contact the hotel directly. I contacted the hotel directly and attempted to pay the charge, yet staff who answered the phone didn't quite seem to understand how to handle the matter. I was transferred from one phone to another, placed on hold, and finally I simply got frustrated with trying to pay the nominal amount and hung up the phone. At this point, being honest and trying to pay for the drink I had purchased at the bar was costing me more as I waited on hold and racked up international long-distance telephone fees. I emailed the hotel and asked them to charge my credit card which they should have had on file. However, nothing came of it. Overall, this is a very nice hotel and I'd gladly stay again. Furthermore, I highly recommend the hotel. The hotel is an attraction in itself given the beautiful and unique vehicles and décor. The multilingual staff is friendly and our room was clean and comfortable. I feel badly not giving the hotel a 5-star review. The reason for rating 4/5 is because there are areas that can easily be improved if management and staff have a meeting or training to resolve issues such as the ones mentioned. I stayed here for a business event at the hotel and really enjoyed the whole experience. Staff were absolutely excellent - they just couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant is also very nice serving good food at reasonable prices. Room was a reasonable size with a good sized bed, good bathroom & facilities plus it was quiet at night. Room could have done with a few more areas to work from but plenty of space in the room overall.

A very special place to stay overnight You have the choice of an ordinary room with nice paintings of old airplanes... or you could go for the theme rooms: everything to do with cars.... :-) and then on op of this: excellent breakfast nice cars retailerships of Mclaren, Pagani, Maseratie, Ferrari,Bentley, Lambo... and storage of older cars... and. and.. so must visit!!

A very comfortable place for business or personal visits to Böblingen is Stuttgart region. Prices are not cheap but in line with other common hotels in this area. All decoration is inspired in the automotive industry, small details as a soap in the form of a Volkswagen Beetle or the McLaren dealer at the entry-level are a unique experience if you love cars.

If you like your cars then stay here! Everything is geared around the motor car and its history. The reception includes two car dealers (expensive ones at that)... Rooms are fantastic, beer is cold, food is excellent and breakfast hot and plentiful. The only negative? Was only a one night stay!

Daniel at the reception was very friendly, patiently looking for a room with a car bed that might be booked, and finally recommended a room that he liked so much. The room was cool and special, I would like to pass my thanks to Daniel for his recommendation and help, also should give him a compliment. . . . The hotel is highly recommended, there will be a chance to come again~

We visited this hotel on the second night of a boys trip to Germany. When we arrived having spent the day at the Porsche museum, ironically there was a Porsche “rally” on at the hotel. There were hundreds of Porsche's there and it was clear a lot had left by the time we got there. We stayed in the new part of the hotel which I would recommend as it's very modern with a nice bar for a drink in the evening. The added bonus is on-site Pagani, McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche dealerships!! There is also an amazing classic car dealership in the lobby! The adjacent motorworld is well worth a look and the Route 66 restaurant next door does amazing burgers. The only negative is the underground car park was very limited for space and was €14 overnight. We had already had to pay €5 to park outside as the rally was on.

There is so much to say about this place, it's a hotel / car dealership / restaurants / heaven all in one place, food was brilliant, rooms amazing, staff fantastic and it's a car heaven - perfect. Already planning our next trip back with the kids.

Located right between Böblingen main station and the Autobahn exit, the hotel is located perfectly for any kind of Böblingen traveler. Breakfast is very rich with freshly made omelets and healthy options like avocados. They also have cold Capri Sonne which I found amazing. The spa is not really a spa. But it does have a sauna and a gym with a great view from the very top sky level. Perks: 1. Parking is 14 EUR a day and difficult to find, which I consider not very car friendly in regards to being a motorworld hotel. 2 Many of the new rooms do not have the vintage car framed beds. This would be important to mention, since I guess many guests book the hotel because of its themed automobile style.

Stayed in many hundreds of hotel rooms over the years and had a few bad nights sleep along the way. But the nights sleep here was awful! Duvet too hot. Air con too cold - even on a standard setting of 21C. Go a bit higher and it was too hot. Radiator by bed but no ability to turn up or down. Resulted in kicking duvet off because it is too hot. Air con then kicks in and it is freezing. And repeat every 15-20 mins. Air con is always a challenge in hotels but this one took the biscuit Also not helped by wooden floors and very little sound proofing. Person next door got up very early and walked around in hard shoes. Heard every single footstep. And was then finished off by the cleaners turning up to clean the room and it sounding like they were ripping the place apart

I was in the relatively new part of the hotel. Room was very clean and quiet. If you have a car, it is not always easy to park nearby unless you are lucky enough to find a spot on the roundabout in front of the hotel. By walk there are multiple options for diner, apart from the restaurant of the hotel that I did not try. If you like cars, this is definitely a place to stay. Note this hotel is also part of the best western chain.

Stayed in the Classic hotel which is the former Boeblingen airport terminal. Old art deco style building with modern rooms and baths. Each room has different photos bedroom and bath. The theme rooms have classic automotive style furniture and design. Fun hotel with adjoining car museum/sales room.

The new V8 hotel in Boeblingen is great. Modern rooms with all the conveniences ( good hairdryer, gowns, slippers, small toiletry kit etc etc ) very friendly and helpful reception staff, and it's close to the Mercaden Mall! Highly recommended.

The hotel is located directly at the Motorwelt of Böblingen. And the theme is also reflected in the hotel. Oldtimers and luxury cars can be seen everywhere. A great location for car lovers. The location, however, is somewhat remote. The rooms are very clean, the staff very friendly and courteous. The bar serves good cocktails, but the open and cool ambience doesn't invite you to stay. Breakfast was fine, but also nothing special for the price. We had a theme room and a nice gadget for one night. If I needed a longer stay, then I would rather switch to another hotel. The hotel was also very quiet. For one night: Very Good. Negative: You have to pay extra for the parking lot in front of the hotel. For us incomprehensible, as there is a large parking lot. The lobby is too cool and does not invite for an extra drink at the bar.

We are here right now, being 5:50 am, one hour ago a naked guy got into our room while we were sleeping, touching one of my friends and sitting on the bed when we told him to leave. At first the receptionist told us it is our problem, by leaving the door open, and laughed when we talked about our security and our integrity; when it is their doors the ones that don't close properly (the door seemed closed but could be opened without a key). Huge security problem, we left our thing all day in a room. Our security and integrity was in risk during our stay. The people in charge of the night shift didn't take it seriously. Receptionist got angry and confronting at us when we took the problem seriously. At last she called the hotel's Cheff, and he told her not to charge the night and let us go. Total disaster!

I would give it 10 stars if I could. The staff were so helpful and could not of helped more. Hotel food is really nice and the rooms are car based! Some of the rooms have a view down on the museum where loads of classic Porsches are stored. It also featured a model car shop, mclaren dealer, Lamborghini dealer and many more. There is also a museum showing off exclusive supercars. There is also a Ferrari dealer across the road. There is a lovely Italian restaurant with great service and lovely food. I would definitely go back again!

Are room had a terrible exhaust fan like noise that was not coming from our room. we called down stairs and they sent someone right up. They agreed it was a problem and said they would look into it and get right back to us. One hour latter i called down stair again and got no answer, I went down stairs and there was no one at the desk. I knocked on the door behind the deck, no answer. The noise went all night, we had not been able to sleep at all so we left about 6 AM. i was going to make a complaint as we left but again there was no one at the desk. I have email twice and received no reply.

Very beautiful hotel outside of Stuttgart. The rooms are quite big and very clean and the car theme is everywhere. The breakfast buffet is huge and you'll find just what you want for breakfast. I can also recommend the bar in the evening which is super cozy and they have a great Gin selection. The fitness room is well equipped - i only missed some water.

We had nearby a event so we booked this hotel. It is located next to the Motorworld, where you can see nice cars. The hotel itself is clean an chic The staff is very friendly The breakfast was excellent The bar was excellent I highly recommend this place

We stayed at V8 Motorworld hotel in Bolblingen, as part of the international delegate for our annual convention in June, 2018. This hotel is nothing short of a wonder world for a car person. Very unique blend of a hotel with the theme of motor cars from yesteryears. From the meticulously preserved 300 SL Gullwing in the lobby to the car themed rooms, it's a visual delight all over. We find the reception staff to be efficient he way they swiftly handles the large group check-in. Though I didn't have a car themed room, it had large car images painted on the wall from the race track. There were car shapes pens, soaps and also car branded coffee mugs. The room was quite comfortable, well appointed, if not luxurious! The breakfast area was again quirky with an old Dodge pickup truck places right in the middle, used with the purpose of decoration and reiterating the Motor theme. The breakfast offered is a hearty mix of typical German breakfast- sausages, eggs, fresh bread, choice of fresh fruits, variety of juices and good tea and coffee. I barely relished my breakfast during the entire stay as I always was a tad late for breakfast. The V8 is located about 30 mins from the main Stuttgart and in the close proximity of the renowned Sindelfingen plant of Mercedes! The hotel have quite a few good restaurant, my favourite being the Check Inn restaurant. I won't forget the Salmon Steak in banana leaf for a long time. Also the Grilled sheep's cheese in foil with fresh rosemary, chili, olive oil and cherry tomatoes is something to die for. Do order them if you're there. Also next door are the classic car dealers, and a plethora of luxury cars at display. It has a showroom of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and Rolls Royce. Spotted some of the most iconic and timeless pieces of automotive engineering during my stay! A Car Lovers Haven, Heaven! A must recommended hotel and it's a delight to stay here.

We traveled to Stuttgart specifically to visit the Porsche and Mercedes Museums for my husband's 60th Birthday. The Hotel was the perfect place to stay! The place and the area around it still seem like there is work to be completed, but don't let that stop you if you are spending the night in Stuttgart. It's new, clean, fun, breakfast was fine... read other reviews complaining about it, but the people were friendly and helpful and no, it's not crepes and Quiche Lorraine, but it's Germany! Eggs, bacon, sausage (naturally), fresh breads, juice, water with mint, and much more to choose from. Ask to stay in the V6 rooms if air conditioning is important to you - it was to us. I am sure the themed rooms would be a hoot, but they are in the older building and no air. The location is great for viewing and visiting high end vehicle dealerships and has a collection of vintage and restored vehicles for sale. There are a few restaurants on the premises and the Metro Station is a quick walk. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. This was our first visit to Germany, and our first stop after 24 hours of travel and the clean room, lovely bed and fresh appearance of the hotel in general was a welcome sight.

Con - Not in centre of town. Half an hour away by train Pro - Everthing else! Loved the plane! Hubby is in 7th heaven with Motor World next door. Hotel is fairly new and modern. Stayed in a themed room and slept on a Porsche 911! Where else can you check in with 2 McLarens by checkin counter! Room was perfect size and had all the amenities but no fridge. In a growing area so not much around but enough places to eat. We trained everywhere so not being central was not a dealbreaker.

Booked as a special treat for my husband and children on our tour around Europe. The hotel is impressive on arrival, lots of car themed areas and you're able to walk around and look at lots of cars and some boats too. We were in the older building and didn't have a themed room but it was very modern and clean. I was disappointed with the very flat pillows, also they don't have air conditioning but we did have a fan. It would have been nice to have a guide in our room to the restaurants and services on site. We had to use Google to help find somewhere to eat that was child friendly - this happened to be the very tasty steakhouse over in the Motorworld tower. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking overnight cost 14 Euros.

This is the perfect hotel for anyone with an interest in cars. The primary building is in the beautiful old Art Deco style and has been sympathetically modernised. This is where I stayed, (though not in a car themed room as I was there for 5 nights). It was actually an airport back in the day and has a lot of character about. The room was top notch and even though it wasn't one of the themed rooms there were car pictures on the walls etc. There was an excellent upmarket cafe (leagues ahead of any other well known global chains) in this building which served food all day (including breakfast) and it wasn't expensive at all. I'd thoroughly recommend this option for breakfast vs. the official hotel restaurant. There were plenty of other restaurants in the grounds surrounding the hotel also. They have just finished a new modern wing of rooms at the back of the old building also. Very swish and modern if lacking a bit of character the older building has. The town centre of Boblingen is a short walk away and there are plenty of eateries to chose from there also. The V8 hotel is located next to the Mercedes Sindelfingen plant and you can literally watch the sun set behind the rotating Mercedes star on the roof of the factory in the evening as you sip on a proper German beer. A nice experience. It's also located close to the Autobahn and Stuttgart airport. In addition, attached to the hotel is a Classic car dealer, A Classic Car storage facility, plus Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Maserati, Ferrari, McLaren and Harley-Davidson showrooms. Sensory overload, but brilliant. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel to any petrolhead.

At the new V8 they have combined a modern conventional block of hotel rooms with a themed car approach perfectly blending the various history of the racing cars with the conveniences of a great hotel.

The theme rooms are worth upgrading for, and there are many classic and interesting cars (Mercedes and Porsche mainly) in the hotel and nearby too. Rooms were clean, the hotel is still being built so I can forgive the staircase that didn't take me anywhere. A full menu would have been nice, but I appreciate that will come with time also.

We have stayed in the original hotel on 4 occasions so that gives a clue as to what we think of it. The themed rooms are amazing & well worth the cost just for the experience. The only problem with these rooms is the lack of air conditioning so this time we decided to stay in the new hotel. It is very modern, beautifully clean & well appointed, the air conditioning works but it lacks any atmosphere. This is great if you just want somewhere to stay but we have been spoilt in the past. Probably would opt for the original hotel if needing to stay there again. There is a great Italian restaurant on site and of course Motorworld which has some amazing cars and is a must for any car enthusiast.

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my husband while we were in the Stuttgart area. He loves cars and I thought it would be fun. We chose to get a theme room, which was the Jaguar room. It is in the new hotel, which I believe just opened. It still had the paint odor in the hotel. There was no parking, so they let us keep our car parked in front of the hotel. The room was very spacious and actually had more closet and drawer space than many hotels that I have stayed in. The room was cute and car themed, but not good for a restful nights sleep. The beds were hard and the pillows were flat. They seriously need to provide guests with multiple pillows. But my greatest complaint would be the bathroom. The sink area is open, with the toilet being in a closet. However, the toilet closet did not have a separate light. So if you get up in the middle of the night and need a light, it shines out into the room, because there is only one light for the entire bathroom area. It has a very large shower, but what I found interesting, is that there was not a shelf of any sort, to hold soap, shampoo, etc. So you have this large shower, with no place but the floor to put anything. Not very well thought out! However the heated towel rack was appreciated. So I would recommend the hotel, add pillows, shelves in the shower, there certainly was enough room and put a separate light in the toilet closet. The breakfast was separate and 18 euros a person. It certainly wasn't worth that. So grab yourself a coffee and a pastry somewhere else.

We stayed here with our 2 boys and were not in a themed room but it was still pretty pricey, and breakfast was extra. The room was very spacious and modern. Security was great as the key card was needed to access the elevator, halls and room. There were various dining options and plenty of free parking. The staff was extremely friendly and the housecleaning staff was able to catch us 3 times before we drove away with 3 items my kids left behind in the room.

If you are coming to visit Mercedes factory, this is the place to stay. Themed rooms are a must. If you want a specific room, better call the hotel in advance and make sure you get the one you would like. It is not cheap compared to other lodging in the area. But it is great fun especially when you come w kids. We had the gas station room. It looked great, even the lights of the car worked. Don't forget to try the sauna room. It is not busy and good place to relax on a cold winter day. There are not many places to eat an elegant dinner around. The Italian restaurant in the lobby is probably one of the best, but make sure you book ahead. I only got a seat in the bar after much negotiation as the place was fully booked. The food is very good, although the service is not top. If you speak Italian, then you get a bit better treatment as most of the waiters are from Italy. Breakfast, don't book from the hotel. You can buy from the in-hotel cafe directly at a cheaper price. But the choices are really limited. I returned our breakfast voucher and went to the mall across the station to have breakfast. It is only a 5 min walk, you have everything to choose from.

We were recommended to stay here by friends, and were not disappointing. We had one of the themed rooms which an American Drive in Movie, the attention to detail was excellent. The hotel has a number of restaurants attached and a fantastic Classic Car Exhibition with a number of top end Car Dealers close by offering plenty to see and listen too. This is well suited to a petrol head but it is not compulsory !!

I am currently 4 weeks in, from my 7 week holiday around Europe and this hotel has impressed me the most out of the 6 previous countries I visited. The theme of the hotel is a mans dream. Even the bar soap is a Volkswagen car! The shower has a monsoon from the ceiling and regular sprayer. There is also a human blow dryer which is connected to the wall and blow dries your whole body while you stand after a shower. We also had a view from our bedroom of the entire car museum next door. Five star rating with ease. Air con worked perfectly.
