Clean and updated room, friendly staff, nice heated pool, great breakfast, good price, convenient location.

The Asheville BW is located close to the highway and near all the things we wanted to do there. We loved everything from the friendly check in experience in a cozy lobby. The room was fantastic. It was update, clean, and had all the amenities we needed (microwave and small refrigerator). We reserved the same day and got a fantastic rate! The entire BW was clean, you could tell that they focused on cleaning as it smelled wonderful too. We were able to sleep comfortable on the firm King size bed and even though we were close to an elevator, there was no noise. We had a wonderful stay and will recommend this BW to friends and family.

I ended up not staying here because the initial impression was so poor. Be sure to check photos of the exterior - this is an old school motel, very run down from the outside. The office was unmanned, no security for a solo female traveler at all.

This place was a wonderful experience. We just picked it off the internet and were so pleasantly surprised. Each and every employee worked hard at making us happy and making our stay a lovely one. The room was great, the breakfast supurb and above all, the staff was the very best. Please come stay here and enjoy!!

The hotel check I staff was friendly and helpful in answering questions. The room was large clean and comfortable. The pet area was large enough that the dog could play and exercise. The lobby was clean and the breakfast was really good with a larger than normal selection of choices.

Pleasantly surprised! To be honest I was nervous when we pulled into the parking lot as it is a basic motel and there were homeless people along the road on our drive up. Joe was working the front desk and he actually let me go look at a room before checking in. The rooms are extremely clean and quite spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows are awful. The AC worked very well. There is a mini fridge. The sink is outside of the shower/toilet area making it nicer for sharing a bathroom. They have Netflix loaded onto the TV so it was easy to sign in and watch a show to relax at night. Breakfast was actually very good, fully stopped and again very clean. His problem was that the room next-door to us very loud women staying in there and they kept laughing and isn't very late and then again early in the morning. This place is great for one to United and I would stay here again in the area.

This is our new Asheville Hotel go-too! Wonderful 4 day stay. Close to downtown Ashville. Dylon and Joe at front desk over and beyond for help, information, and directions. The entire facility is pristine from grounds to rooms. ( not one cigarette butt visible anywhere). The breakfast staff diligently made sure buffet foods warm and plentiful without asking making it a great start of our day. The pool area lovely and inviting. Special treat to be able to use neighboring hotel indoor pool and exercise room. Our room had superb working refrig and microwave which we used daily. This is a wonderful place and until now have stayed at no hotels a second time. So glad we found Best Western on Blueridge Parkway.

This is a very clean hotel. It appears to be recently renovated with comfortable rooms. It is conveniently located to downtown Asheville and Biltmore Village. I had a very enjoyable stay. Overall, this is a great hotel at a great value.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated. Check-in was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was not comfortable, but it was fine for a one-night stay. Pillows were tiny and terrible. Breakfast was typical continental fare. Parking was very tight.

The location was perfect because it was only 1.5 miles from downtown. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had room service every day without asking for it, which was really great. They had a great full breakfast. It was well worth the price we paid. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone>

We stayed here for 2 nights with our dog. The property is nice with an inviting pool. Our room was a good size. It was very clean and stocked with what we might need. The continental breakfast was above average. It consisted of Eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, cereals, muffins, bagels, waffles, oatmeal, and yogurt with your choice of 3 fruit toppings. Fresh fruit was also available. All of the staff was very pleasant and informative. But beware: in the back where the dog park is located, there were 3 bears (mom and 2 cubs) and they were too close for comfort. We just happened to see them as we were taking our dog to the dog area. I know bears are plentiful in Asheville but I think there should be signs to at least alert people that aren't from there. But overall, we were very pleased with the area and will stay there again in our next trip to Asheville.

We loved this Best Western Asheville - Blue Ridge Parkway. It may have been the best budget hotel we've stayed at over the course of 3 long road trips and over 40 hotels. The view, setting, and appearance of this hotel is awesome, but I'm just getting started. The price is extremely reasonable. We had a super friendly check-in, in which we were given a little gift bag with bottled water. We also found small water bottles and mints in our room. Our room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower and internet were okay. This hotel gives a lot of attention to detail, and you can tell. Breakfast is in the lobby, separated from the rooms and you need your door key card to get in. We thought that was a great feature. Breakfast was awesome and was also the best on all three of our road trips.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Dylan, the manager who greeted us, was friendly, helpful, and full of information that made our stay even more comfortable. Later, when we could not work the remote, he went above and beyond and actually came to our room to demonstrate how to access channels. He explained the nuances of the remote and stayed until we were able to operate it without assistance. We really appreciated his naturally caring manner. We loved the accessability of this hotel, as we could drive right up to our door. This made it so easy to unpack. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast area is unusually spacious. We enjoyed sitting in our own nook and the coffee, waffles, and yogurt with fruit were quite good. Out of the many Best Westerns we have stayed at, we agreed that the coffee and fruit were most exceptional here. We look forward to revisiting in the future!

This is a great hotel option for Asheville. It is near both downtown and West, so perfect for us. Always super clean, comfortable, and a great value. Breakfast has a good selection every morning (continental and a hot bar). It's our mountain retreat!

This is my second time staying at the Best Western on Tunnel Rd in Asheville NC. I worked as a hotel room inspector so of course when I go in, I start looking for faults, dirt, dust, etc. I could not find anything wrong with the room !!! That was the first hotel I have stayed in that I could not find something wrong with the room!!! I pulled out ac filters, clean. Top of headboards, clean. Top of lightbulbs, clean. I checked places housekeeping usually skirts around, clean !!!! Amazing free breakfast bar. Staff is friendly, very helpful. If you are in the area, need a clean place to sleep, Best Western on Tunnel Rd in Asheville NC has got you covered.

The check-in process was quick and easy. The room was nice and cool when we entered and was easy to find. Everything in the room was nice and clean. The breakfast was plentiful, hot and very filling.

We stayed at The Best Western Ashville Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed in Ashville to visit The Biltmore. The hotel is about 10 minutes from The Biltmore. There were a few restaurants nearby and and supermarket. The breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast. I would stay here again.

location is close to a lot of things to do. Atmosphere is safe and clean. Rooms great size and clean, supplied everything you could need. You could occasionally hear a door slam around you, but that only happened a couple times, but other then those couple of times, it was totally quiet.

This was a great stay for our girl's trip! The room had plenty of room to handle a 3rd folding bed (that they provided for a small fee). Everything was very clean and tidy when we checked in! Personally, I prefer a Hotel/Motel where I can go park right outside my room, and this is an establishment like that! They had a super breakfast (included) with hot items, waffles, fruit, and yogurt. Also, the breakfast area was being watched and cleaned by an employee so items did not run out. My only complaint would be that making a left turn out of this parking lot could be difficult at times. At high traffic times, we did turn right so we could do a quick turn around at the next light. Highly recommend staying here!

The location was very simple to get to and close to shopping and dining. The rooms were comfortable and extra clean. The atmosphere was inviting and clean, and decorated beautifully for Christmas. the noise level was pretty quiet and the service was spectacular. Breakfast was enjoyable, hot and fresh with many different items to choose from cereal to waffles, and eggs and sausage.

This was my first stay and was very good. The staff is friendly and always available at the front desk. The rooms are clean and everything works. The breakfast buffet large including eggs, sausage, granola, yogurt. The parking lot here extremely well lit and lots of cameras. It was a nice balance between value and quality.

Check-in was a fast. The room was exceptionally clean including the bathroom. TV had many channels including Hallmark, which my wife likes.. The beds were comfortable with four pillows per bed.. The breakfast had just about everything- eggs, sausage, granola cereal ,waffles, oatmeal, etc. Was close to sites and great strenuous hikes. Would definitely stay again

The room at Best Western Asheville -Blue Ridge Parkway, 501 Tunnel Rd Asheville, NC was clean and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and there was a variety to choose from. Best Western hotels are my choice whenever I travel.

I have stayed here a few times. They have excellent service and the staff makes a lot of effort to keep everything running well. The rooms are clean and well supplied. There is a microwave in every room, freezers in the refrigerators. Their breakfast has generous hours and is kept refreshed. I prefer this hotel to the one next door because they are friendlier and have those details that hello when roadtripping. It's also very convenient to downtown and everything else you need in Asheville.

I love this place! This was my third stay and has been consistently good. The staff is friendly and always available at the front desk. The rooms are clean and everything works. The breakfast buffet is very nice and even has fresh hot oatmeal. I typically travel with lots of valuables (bicycles) and don't want to haul them into room every night. The parking lot here is well lit and lots of cameras. In my opinion, it's about striking balance between value and quality. This is precisely what this hotel offers. While it may not be a five-star establishment, it provides exceptional accommodations at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out were both great. At check-out the desk staff was a blessing as we had accidently left our personal water bottles in our room and turned around to come back and get them. Since the housekeeping staff was not great at understanding English the desk girl ran to get our water bottles for us. We arrived after dark so didn't see the lovely gazebo until in the morning. We also loved the Smokey the Bear caring outside the main office. The breakfast area was great and the variety of choice very good. The staff working the breakfast area were please and helpful too. The one thing that I would change if I could is an issue we have had with other Best Westerns. The one thing I wish they could fix was make the bathroom light switch inside the bathroom. When someone had to get up in the night and turn on the bathroom light outside by the sink and minor everyone else gets woken up with the bright light. This hotel is super close to getting on the Blue Ridge Parkway too.

I have mixed feelings about my recent stay at this hotel. Overall, it was satisfactory, but there were several issues that affected our experience. Upon check-in, we were mistakenly assigned to a room that was already occupied. I actually opened the door to find other guests inside, which was quite uncomfortable and concerning from a security standpoint. The front desk staff apologized sincerely and quickly reassigned us to a different room. I had requested a first-floor room, but none were available. The bathtub in our room was extremely slippery — my wife nearly fell at one point — so I strongly recommend that the hotel provide bath mats or apply an anti-slip coating for guest safety. We also had an issue with the toilet clogging and had to call the front desk for a plunger one evening. On a positive note, the room itself was very clean and comfortable. However, the exterior of the buildings appeared old and dated, and we were disappointed that there was no elevator to access the second floor. Overall, our stay had both good and bad aspects, but with a few improvements, this hotel could offer a much better guest experience.

I chose this Best Western for our 2 night Asheville stay using my 3-step hotel routine: desired location, price, & Trip Advisor reviews. Best Western Asheville met the mark on the 1st two requirements, however I think the TA reviews I read overrated this property. The pluses: staff friendly & helpful; breakfast, while not over-the-top, was kept replenished & dining area comfortable; good sized room, good TV & tons of electrical outlets (a must with all of our tech gadgets & 2 CPAP machines!). Nice pool which was still open in early October. Access to indoor pool & gym in hotel next door. Convenient access to freeway & short drive to downtown Asheville. The minuses: the chair & ottoman in our room looked like it was fished out of a garbage heap. The room access was directly from parking lot, which made for some noisy early mornings. The parking spaces were on the small side which did not well accommodate the numerous large pickup trucks. 2 story property does not have elevators. One valuable tip from the front desk staff member who checked us in: if using a ride sharing service, which we did multiple times, check both Uber & Lyft as the prices can vary widely. We doubted him, but his advice was spot-on! I would not count out this property on future Asheville trips, but it is definitely not a go-to on my favorite hotel list.

More WORST Western! Far and away the worst of the chain I've ever stayed in. Unhelpful staff with poor English and need to hide behind a mask £100 holding fee when there is absolutely nothing to run up expenses on is a total rip off! 😡

Room was noisy, carpet were musky smelling as well as dirty. Pillows were uncomfortable. Staff was polite it is just an older hotel that needs a lot of upkeep

We stayed here last week and enjoyed the hotel very much because of the old time motel feeling. We were able to pull right up and park in front of our door and walk over to the breakfast room. The breakfast served was nice decor, a beautiful fireplace and fish tank. There were eggs, bacon, a yogurt machine with fruit and granola, bagels, toast, fruit, good coffee. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The toilet and tub/shower were separate from the sink so 2 people could get ready at the same time. There was also a safe in the room for valuables.

We stayed one night on our way to the coast. Check in was very easy. All desk employees were knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is a little older. The rooms are on the outside. The parking lot was well lit and is secluded. Our room was clean and it was a good stay for the price.

Best hotel stay in over 40 yrs! The rooms, the beds,the mattress, the pillows, the comfort, the beauty and elegance of the room, the grounds the entire hotel the staff absolutely lovely!! I travel with 4 memory foam and feather pillows due to spine and joint issues. Rarely comfortable and not in pain in most hotels. This was one of the best in over 40 yrs! Plus it's a beautiful elegant room. Love the deep bathtub, and the pillows are like clouds! I come with a lot of my own food...have food allergies...this refrigerator is pretty large! You usually don't get this unless you pay for an efficiency. I ran into some issues checking out on time and they were so understanding. I'm used to having to pay $35 and up for even minutes late at check out. This hotel is awesome! The beautiful grounds, the elegant room, the pool, the gazebo, and the employees all are lovely! I will definitely be back here! Thanks for the great stay! All for a very reasonable price

We travel quite a bit. This place made me wish we could stay longer. Room was nicely appointed. Clean. Recently renovated. Nice Pet Friendly walking area. All of the expected amenities…plus! Exceedingly friendly Staff. Absolutely the BEST VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!! (No. I do not have a financial interest in this property. :-D)

Cashier stole my cash and charged my card. Manager would not even call me back. I had to call corporate best western to get a refund. I understand stuff happens but they could at least call me back. The room was nice and the staff was friendly such a shame……………………………………………………………………

OH THIS PLACE!!! Awful - awful - awful! Do NOT stay here. They have certificates and plaques on the walls of the registration area, stating how wonderful they are in the BW universe... well, the room was fine, but there was the homeless man sleeping at the end of the row of rooms on our first night, then a different homeless man sleeping behind the wall of the pet area the next morning. Then, there was the pot smoking! All of the hotel rooms open onto the parking lot, so even though it's a non-smoking hotel, we couldn't leave our room in the evenings, for all of the pot smoke and smokers sitting just outside of their rooms. When we called the Front Desk, they stated that there was NOTHING that the could do. Then there's the music form all directions - the walls aren't well insulated, and it came from both sides and upstairs, plus out in the little pergola by the pet area. Well, if you cannot control homeless folks sleeping on the property, or the pot smokers, you sure as heck cannot control loud music. We've stayed in a lot of motels and hotels in our lives, and this is in the BOTTOM 5 of all time!

The staff is great. They are always happy, helpful and courteous. The room was clean and there were no issues with parking. The location is very good for visiting Asheville. The city is very resilient and recovering much faster than I expected.

The staff is absolutely amazing! We were there because of the hurricane. We felt like home. Celebrated Christmas with my family there and renewed my wedding vows with my wife. The staff worked with us in so many ways. Thank you Best Western for giving us a home when we didn't have one. We will definitely return.

The bed was super comfortable. We had great room service. Awesome free breakfast in the morning. Great staff. Had a good size area for the dogs to play and use the restroom. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we enjoyed every bit of it. The tv was nice the bathroom was big and spacious the water was nice and hot. Very clean and quiet and organized.

The bed was so soft, the room was beautiful, it was very clean, it was stocked well. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay again. There is a fitness room and there is a store where you can get necessities. They have a beautiful gazeebo.

I drive for FedEx and I was in town helping the local FedEx station catch up on their deliveries and decided to get a hotel so I didn't have to commute back-and-forth to South Carolina. After a very disappointing check in attempt at a different non related hotel where I found out that my reservation was cancelled due to overbooking and was not told about it, I decided to go with my trusty Best Western hotel line. I was having a hard time finding a hotel since it was so late by the time I had found out about the other hotel and was starting to have some anxiety. I called and the Best Western hotel concierge was gracious and let me know that they did have an available room and that he could hold it for me until I got there. Music to my over tired ears! Check-in was easy. The room was comfortable and up to standards. Staff were friendly. And communication was a breeze with the text option. Will most likely stay here again. Hopefully it will be for pleasure next time.

Rooms are clean, great staff, always willing to help and very friendly, perfect location. Great for families, close to restaurants, the mall and Biltmore. I stay weekly for work, free hot breakfast. Close to I40,240 and 26. Never had a problem getting a room.

My husband and I travel with our little corgi mix and are always looking for pet friendly hotels that are in great locations and well maintained. This hotel is the nicest Best Western we have ever stayed at. It is clean, has a great breakfast and every employee we encountered was professional and helpful. I can't tell you how long it has been since we have been so pleased with a hotel stay. We will definitely be returning . Also, the dog walk area is very nice and well kept.

The bed and the pillows were the best I've ever slept on! The attendant was very efficient and courteous. The building itself was easily accessible and easy to find. Breakfast was a full on complete one with a large variety to choose from and very tasty! We will def stay there again when in the area.

We've been fans of Best Western Inns for years and this one did not disappoint. The breakfast was great with variety from day to day. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. We have learned to depend on Best Western Inns for reliable accommodations and service even when traveling to previously unvisited places.

Easy check in with friendly staff. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The area was quiet and we felt safe and secure. We also enjoyed the pet friendliness of this hotel. Breakfast had great choices! Yum! We would stay here again .

Make sure everything in the room works before you unpack…tv,microwave, thermostat, noise levels around you, toilet, shower… our TV did not work in the room and we were already all settled and did not want to change rooms because we were tired from traveling and it's just not convenient.

The location is right off the highway that leads into Asheville. Though not in the heart of Asheville the motel was a short drive to Asheville proper. The motel staff were professional and helpful. The room would have been roomy for two people. Very clean and stocked with soaps, shampoo and bottled water. I was happy with the location as it's not in the civic center of Asheville and was easy to access and the surrounding area is quiet. Plus the price is a fraction of the cost of staying a couple miles closer to Asheville. If you are an outdoor enthusiast the motel is located close to a lot areas that bikers, kayakers and fisher persons enjoy. The breakfast provided is a full breakfast including eggs, sausage and potatoes. They also had biscuits and gravy. This motel is a great bargain.

This hotel is very clean, comfortable bed, great landscaping, friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. The pool was great as well. We stopped here when getting off the Blue ridge Parkway for the night. Couldn't have been more pleased. We were riding our motorcycle and felt safe parking it outside of our room. Also a plus my daughter lives around the corner so was perfect.

Reasonable rates and very clean rooms. The breakfast was so nice with some hot entrees each day. Friendly people except one front desk lady who is clearly not happy with the city of Asheville. She should not be working there as she said “ there was no good reason to stay in Asheville” and said she was moving anyway. We thought Asheville was a nice city and so much to do. Nice clean pool but no hot tub. Can also use the pool next door. No hot tub but that was not an issue for us. Convenient location.

This was a very nice place to stay. It wasn't fancy nice but relaxing nice. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was over the top and very good. The staff was kind. These are the things that make a place great to me! Would stay here again and tell family to stay here too!

I stayed three nights. Everything was great. The shower was nice the bed was comfortable, and the staff was so helpful. The location was close to everything and near the Blue Ridge Parkway. If I am back in the area, I will definitely stay at this location again.

We spent two nights at this conveniently located, clean, pet friendly, and comfortable motel. Overall our stay was very enjoyable, and my only reasons for giving it four stars rather than five are related to accessibility issues. I am a manual wheelchair user, and we stayed in a “mobility accessible king with jetted tub”room, which had plenty of floor space for maneuvering and firm, low pile carpeting. The bed was incredibly high and I had a very difficult time transferring into it. The plastic handles used to open the curtains were too high for me to reach, and the microwave was also out of my reach. There was also plenty of maneuvering space in the bathroom, and the toilet area worked well for me. The sink has space to maneuver a wheelchair underneath but the countertop was a bit too high and the mirror could have been mounted a foot lower which would have allowed me to be able to see in it. (There are full length mirrors on the closet doors in the bedroom area.) The roll-in shower was pretty well designed except for the fact that the seat is tucked into a corner which means I did have to roll my chair into the shower to transfer. The controls are easy to reach and to operate. As previously stated, this is a very nice place to stay at a great price and a few small changes could take this room from accessible–ish that works for many more people with mobility issues.

The staff was very welcoming. We stayed just 1 night on our way to SC. The room was clean, bed and pillows were super comfortable. Bathroom was spotless also. We didn't swim, but the pool area was clean and inviting. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My husband and I had the best night sleep in a while. The bed was really comfortable. Definitely a spot to stay next time we're in the area. The breakfast had a variety. Hot potatoes and smoked sausage, pastries, ready to eat Oatmeal and fresh fruits.

The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I arrived in Asheville late in the evening without a room reservation because my travel plans changed at the last minute to avoid the storm along the coast. I booked my room online when I arrived in town at the last minute. I intended to relocate the next day to another hotel in downtown Asheville, but I wound up extending my reservation at Best Western AVL Tunnel Road for two more nights. Every employee I encountered from the front desk to the breakfast room and housekeeping was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety, and there was something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the biscuits with the "good jam" in the fridge...not the little packets. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay, and the property was a great value.

Very well taken care of! Super clean and my bed was comfy. I came for a quiet and solitude, and thats what I got. Hot tub filled up fast, ac was cold, and the swimming pool was clean and quiet. The staff was very polite and breakfast was great. 10 out of 10 recommend.

We had two perfect adjoining rooms since we were traveling with teens. They loved making their waffle each morning. The adults loved getting a full hot breakfast. We found the rooms to be very clean & spacious. Thank you Best Western for a great weekend!

This might sound silly but they had the best hotel breakfast I've ever had! The environment was great as well as the rooms were so nice and affordable! The best part is they were pet friendly. I can usually count on best western to be at least comfortable, sometimes even outstanding but this one is awful. How it got such good reviews I have no idea. Carpet is dirty, you have to play with the faucet to get it to turn off, walls are so thin you can hear every other room, the TV remote barely works and Wi-Fi is so poor as to be non-existent so I couldn't get any work done. Worst motel I've ever stayed in

The room, standard double queen, was the biggest we have experienced at BW yet. Pillows were nice and each bed had 4 pillows. They do not offer walk in showers, but there was a bath mat that made the tub/shower combo more manageable for people with mobility issues. Our car was parked right outside of our room and this area stayed well lit all night. We felt secure. Rooms were clean and breakfast was very nice. The locally made jams were a nice surprise!

Location was close to everything we wanted to do and see. Room was spotless and the beds were so comfy. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend even though I don't usually stay in hotels without interior hallways.

We slept well because mattresses were very comfortable & room quiet. Temperatures outside were 90 & above but the air conditioning worked perfectly so our room was an oasis. Staff was courteous and helpful. This Best Western location was one of the most modern I've ever stayed in. Thanks BW!

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Asheville. The location was convenient to the places we went to in Asheville and Black Mountain. The outdoor pool was clean and refreshing. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was 2 sinks in the room. Parking was convenient right in front of the room door. The hotel also had a dog park in the back, a gazebo and a grill. The breakfast included locally made jams by biscuit head. If I returned to Asheville, I definitely would stay here.

I would like to give hats off to all the staff at this hotel. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at so far. The young men at the desk upon check in were very courteous. I asked for suggestions for local place for dinner. Was told about his favorite place (Papas and Beer) Mexican. Was just down the road. Was the best authentic Mexican I have ever eaten and place was nice and everyone friendly. The hotel was near things but still in a very quiet area. Room was very clean, smelled clean and very well maintained. We ate the breakfast the next morning. Area was so clean and cute (they made the most seating out of their layout). Selection was great. Hot biscuits, eggs, sausage and gravy, potatoes and other assorted items. Everything was fresh and the hostess was constantly making sure it stayed stocked. Will recommend to anyone and will be my first choice to stay when in the area again. GREAT JOB EVERYONE! Keep it up!!!

the Best Western on Tunnel Rd in Asheville blew me away! the room was super clean, housekeeping comes daily, the breakfast was terrific: eggs, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, waffles, etc… Our stay was comparable to any Hampton inn only cheaper!

Fluffy bed and pillows great space room chair desk loved it wanted to stay longer can't wait to stay at the glow next round working my rewards card up to it. Pool was clean have some floats and cold water ready for you to jump in. Thanks love the stay

We come to Asheville often to visit our son, who works in the area. The Best Western is a convenient location for us with its proximity to the highways that we use and restaurants that we tend to frequent. The hotel is very well run -- the staff is efficient, professional, and quick to address any problems that might arise (though there are never really any problems). The place is always clean, well-maintained, quiet, and safe. We have been coming here for 15 years (didn't even realize that until the manager mentioned it when we checked out). She recognized us when we checked in!

We were very pleased with the quality of this hotel. The room was nice (except for a small problem with the bathroom doorknob) and the swimming pool was big. We also had access to an exercise room and indoor pool at the next hotel over. The full breakfast was delicious and the tables in the breakfast room were great for playing games with visitors in the afternoon/evening.

Both rooms I booked and the lobby were all very clean! I was able to book an additional room for an additional night all through the follow up text the staff sent when inquiring about the stay, super convenient! For a hotel breakfast it was very good with a nice variety of items to choose.

Nice location at the end of our drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway from Boone, NC. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. Breakfast had hot oatmeal, so I didn't have to use the dry packets. I wish that BW would offer 1 gluten free item maybe bread or muffin.

I often stay at this location and I love it. The staff are always helpful and welcoming and the rooms clean and comfortable. As I travel a lot and usually have a lot to unload, I like that I can pull my car up right to my room in order to do so. Last time, I even got to enjoy the lovely pool. I appreciate that there is breakfast, but, as someone who is quite often having hotel breakfast, I declined it this time and went in search of something more exciting.

This is an older style motel but it has been updated, Beds and pillows incredibly comfortable, rooms were very clean, Samsung flat screens were superb, location close to everything, check in and out staff were professional and attentive, value for the $ was just right, would stay again anytime

This is a great place to stay - close to everything in Asheville and right by the Blue Ridge Parkway! Rooms and premises are very clean (very important to me!) and the breakfast is more than substantial. I also like that the sinks are separate from the bathroom. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and efficient. This hotel is a great value. Not fancy, but has everthing you need.

We weren't going to make it to the hotel until the evening, so I called to make sure of my confirmation. I spoke with Kal. He was able to upgrade our room to one that had a hot tub. After confirming my reservation he asked if there were any other concerns. I asked him to please make sure the hot tub is clean because of an incident I ran into at another hotel before. He apologized to me for having had that experience. I reassured him it was not at the current hotel, because I had never stayed there prior. I have to say, I really appreciated Kal for apologizing to me about another hotels uncleanliness. Needless to say our room was immaculate! I want to say thank you to Kal! I've stayed in this facility several times, partly because I'm a fan of external corridors. Check-in has been quick and efficient. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There's a writing desk and a chair with a hassock, great for reading or watching TV. The lighting is better than most motels I've stayed in. It's conveniently located to a shopping area with casual dining possibilities, to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and to I-240 with its access to I-40. I'll continue to stay here whenever I'm in Asheville.

Always a good stay. Didnt use the pool but it was open, and found out the pool at the Glo motel next door is available also, maybe in the future I'll take advantage of that, or at least know in the winter it is open too. Always a consistent stay, nothing unexpected, and a great price

This is a very old building. The outside shows it but the rooms have updated decor and are comfortable. Window air conditioner is a giveaway. Breakfast included waffles, oatmeal, sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy besides cereal and bagels which was a nice surprise. I wouldn't choose this place if I planned to spend time in the room but it was fine for a night or two and a good value. It's located right next to the Best Western Glo which is newer and a little more expensive.

This is a clean, convenient place to stay in Ashville. We have stayed several times with no complaints. I like that is is pet friendly and the grassy area for pets was quite nice. We enjoyed the free breakfast. There was lots of variety to choose from.

We stayed at this hotel for a trip to see the Biltmore Estate. It was easy to locate and more than adequate stay. The property seemed like a very good value compared to other options in the area. It was easy to find and less than 10 minutes to the Biltmore entrance.

Very clean, should probably be a Best Western Plus. I imagine the only reason it is not is because of the exterior entrances and no interior corridor. The place was great. No gym, pool or hot tub, but I was able to use the gym at the other Best Western right next door. I really didn't even feel like I had left the campus. It was a great experience. Internet was a little slow, so don't plan on doing any gaming while you're here.

When visiting Asheville for the first time, I chose this hotel, and I am very glad I did. I found the location was great, and it is just a short drive into any areas of interest in Asheville. I had worried that I would wish I had stayed in downtown, but honestly, after spending 3 days in Asheville, there was no place that caused me to think that, and here there is no charge for parking. I wasn't visiting during a very busy time, but I had no problem finding free parking in downtown. Back to the hotel description. This is a Motel style hotel, in that there are no inside corridors, but rather the room door opens to the parking lot. My room was on the back- side corner of the furthest building from the lobby. While because of its location, my room was very quiet, it was a bit of a walk. The stairs leading to the second level are located in the middle of the building, there is no elevator, so to get to my room, I had to go up the stairs and walk down the walkway to the end of the building. Dylan at the front desk explained this to me before giving me the room, and I assured him, that would not be and issue and it wasn't. I mainly mention this, Incase someone has mobility issues, let them know. The room I got was very large and comfortable. There was a sofa (a sleeper, I think) which was a great option to sit and relax on. The bed was comfortable, the heat worked well. The room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Coffee is available in the lobby 24 hours. Breakfast is served off the lobby, and is a straight shot from the other buildings, across the parking lot. There were a lot of great choices at breakfast including fresh fruit, yogurt, a vat of oatmeal, pastries, bagels, make your own waffles, cereals, juices etc. Something for everyone. I made the right choice staying here.

This Best Western is always one of our favorites. They are always polite and friendly. The hotel is clean as well with nice rooms. It is located in a very nice location in Asheville with great restaurants nearby. Breakfast is really nice with a clean dining area. Always a pleasure staying here.

My primary reason for choosing an overnight stay at this Best Western while visiting Asheville was the fact it was "pet friendly." Additionally, while most hotels charge upwards of $70 extra to bring a pet, this hotel only charged $20. I was also very impressed with the hotel rates which were quite affordable. So, what are you getting for such a reasonable price? Well, the stay was so inexpensive that we paid a little extra for a king-sized bed with a jet tub. We stayed in the main building. The room was very clean though we had to do some additional wiping down of the jet tub before using it. More on the jet tub in a moment. The room comes with a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and our HVAC worked fine, though the room my brother stayed in (which was not in the main building) had issues with its air conditioning not working and they suffered through the night with the room being too warm. The jet tub was wonderful, but through fault of our own, we added too much bubble bath. I would advise anyone wanting to use the jet tubs to use a minimal amount of soap as once you start running the jets, the bubbles will multiply quite quickly. Breakfast was included with a decent array of hot and cold items. On the cold side there was cereal, bagels, muffins, and juice. On the hot side, there was coffee, eggs, sausages, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Breakfast is served from 6-10 am. Our dog was fine while staying in the room. There were plenty of grassy areas for her to walk about. I was advised that the dog was not allowed in the breakfast area, which is completely understandable. In all, a comfortable place to stay with a decent breakfast and friendly staff.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. No issues at all. Friendly helpful front desk staff. Came to Asheville for the Bob Dylan concert. Stayed two nights. Planning to get back to Asheville in the Fall and we will stay here again. I would definitely recommend this motel.

We had a great time at best Western Tunnel Road in a dog friendly room with the most amazing area to walk our two dogs. They have a very well appointed breakfast buffet. My daughter particularly enjoyed the waffle maker with strawberries. The front desk had locally made ice cream in small containers. There were many flavors to choose from, and it was a great bedtime treat.

Clean rooms, beds were comfortable, overall good quality for the price. We stay here every year for dance competition. BW has a pretty good breakfast as well. Just right off the interstate on tunnel road, where there are a large variety of restaurants.

The room was clean, and everything was in its place. The area for serving breakfast was clean and beautifully stocked with fresh coffee, juice, and breakfast, although I didn't eat breakfast. I utilized the gym in the property next-door as that is a best Western property as well. My trip was enjoyable, staff was friendly, and overall I will certainly return to this hotel.

We've been going to this hotel over the last 3 years. Whenever we have a medical scenario and need to stay overnight. The friendly animal accommodations (dog park) make it easy to take our dog. The rooms are clean, breakfast has a nice variety and the staff is excellent.

Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great with many options. I would stay again. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. It was a 5 minute drive to downtown and 11 minutes from The Biltmore Estates. The location was very central.

The hotel is nice, very clean and modern/colorful decor. The location is easy to get back and forth to downtown. But a lot of corners are cut here. The walls are super thin…i got to hear the man next door snore all night. Tp, towels, etc are cheap and rough. All staff was super nice though.

Staff are all so friendly and helpful. Room was modern and clean. If I ever needed anything they were right on it. Property is well groomed. Also so close to all the shopping, restaurants, downtown, mountains and The Biltmore Estate. I always try to stay here when in Asheville.

We only stayed one night, but I would stay again. Everything was great , check in was super easy because we did paperwork online before we came . The staff member at the desk was super nice! The room was very clean! It was a little small but fine for our needs, we spend most of our time out of the hotel. The only complaint I have is that the room kinda smelled funny and even worse after we turned on the heater. I worried that we might get some kind of lung infection because the unit looked really old. I hope they can get these replaced or at least refurbished , because that was the only downside. ☹️

Stopped here on the way to Florida from up North. It was very pleasant checking in. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We have a small dog. It was $100 extra, in case of damage. The charge was returned to our card promptly. The grounds were beautiful. There is a gazebo that lights up at dusk. A grill is next to it. We are snowbirds and make this journey annually. I am putting this one on my list of places to stay.

This Best Western is the only hotel at which we stay while in Asheville to visit our son, who is a chef in the area. The staff does an excellent job maintaining the premises, the included breakfast is likewise excellent and maintained by a terrific staff. The front desk people are always helpful, and the hotel is very convenient to the highway. It is right on Tunnel Road with easy access to many of our favorite restaurants. The city center is just a five minute drive, but if you need something from a grocery store, the Ingles is only a couple of minutes away, as is the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Arts Center. the beds are comfortable, and the entire facility is well kept by an attentive staff. We don't use the pool, but there is one, and that, too, is maintained well. Believe me, I've seen some hotel pools that are not. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate are always available in the breakfast area. In all, it is a very welcoming place, even for our dog.

I've never stayed in a cleaner hotel/motel/inn/whatever! It was super nice, if just a tad modern for my taste. Staff was super helpful when I called in my reservation and breakfast was super good. Free wi-fi, thanks. It was all appreciated.

This is obviously a well managed property and the rom was quiet, clean and comfortable. This checked all my important boxes to what I feel are the most important aspects of a quality lodging experience. We had a great nights sleep both nights and would definitely stay here again whenever the opportunity arises.

We normally try to stay at a BW when traveling. This was one of the nicest BW's we've stayed at. Reasonably priced, courteous and helpful employees, great breakfast selections, clean rooms and within a mile to many restaurants for dinner. Only a 2 mile drive to hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

From my initial reservation to the warm friendly greeting I received upon checking in, Maylasia ( I hope that is the right spelling) was wonderful. She was kind and thoughtful and was a great representative of Best Western. The room was wonderful- fresh and clean, with the niceties of a really great hotel. The pool was also clear and clean with a great place to relax after a swim. I've had two great experiences with Best Western but the most important thing is the trust they've built with me. I will always go with Best Western knowing that I will have a great stay.

We have stayed at this zBest Western in Asheville numerous times. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We always bring our dog and this hotel is pet friendly. There is a nice area to walk dogs. They had a really nice breakfast which we also enjoyed.

This was the first night of my cross country journey and I got the Best sleep I've had in a long time -- bed sheets pillows were clean and oh so comfy — everything from check in to check out was awesome Thank you

We were very pleased with the neatness and cleanliness of our room. We were traveling with Izzy the poodle and our room was very convenient to the dog walk area. The parking lot was mostly full but we did not hear any noises through the night and bed was awesome!

I picked this hotel solely for the price as we were just staying for the night and were getting in late and leaving early. The hotel was extremely clean and in very good condition. The staff was friendly and professional. I usually don't go to the continental breakfasts at hotels for more than a cup of tea or coffee. However, upon walking past their buffet, it looked to good to pass up without trying. We were pleasantly surprised as the eggs and sausage were very good, as well as the other items they were offering. Definitely will return to this specific hotel next time we are in the Asheville area. AA++

We had a wonderful weekend stay in one of the rooms with the jetted tub. There are a couple of those suites inside, other rooms have external corridors. The tub was a real luxury treat, glad we chose it. There's also a normal shower/bath in bathroom. Our room was huge and super clean with fridge, microwave, cable TV. Very comfortable bed. Wifi in-room was fast with great signal strength. Great breakfast with hot options like delicious biscuits & gravy and scrambled eggs. Pool was also a nice treat. For other meals, there are lots of restaurant options within 5-10 min drive. Great all-around location, right off the Tunnel Road/Asheville Mall exit. We plan to stay here again!

Holy Smokes, we travel quite a bit but I have never been to a Best Western so clean and the staff so pleasant. There were NO funky smells, bed was comfy, breakfast very generous and something for everyone. Definitely will stop again if we are in the area!!

Last year we paid about twice as much for a Hampton Inn nearby for about the same quality of room and service. This Best Western is a hidden gem. Breakfast was very good, and they had the good taste to have the TV on mute (with subtitles) so one could read or talk without noise distraction.

They have a great customer service team. And you get a good quality stay for a good price. Breakfast was good plus different dietary options. The pool was open later than expected which is convenient.

An older motel-style property, we enjoyed an excellent stay of two nights in this nicely renovated, clean hotel. The room was clean and updated. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean if a bit outdated. We enjoyed the pool on an unseasonably hot day in Asheville and appreciated the pool towels handed out at the desk. The breakfast was the same both mornings but was extensive and among the best of these kind we have had. Offerings included decent scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, and a variety of cereals, fruits, breads, and yogurt. The attendant worked hard to keep everything fresh and full.

We stopped in Asheville on our way back home to Rockport. Having stayed at many different hotels over the years, this was one of the nicef ones. Staff was friendly and helpful; rooms were clean facility well mIntain. Definitely would stay again.

The room and bathroom that we stayed in, where very clean and large.The front desk people where extremely helpful and kind! We will definitely stay there again. The grounds around the hotel and dog area were well maintained and extremely dog friendly!

From the minute I pulled in the trip was great.My reservation wasn't in the system but the front desk got me the room I had requested.The next few mornings breakfast was amazing.The lady working on breakfast took pride in what she was doing .(Hard to find these days)Food was better than the restaurants we ate at while visiting the area.The pool area was spotless.Everyone on staff really made our stay pleasant. Our room was clean and well stocked and I appreciated that it was on the ground level with parking close by. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very adequate and the staff was quick to replenish it. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice, clean accommodation. Room had a desk and a comfortable chair with a settee. Bed was comfortable. Good value. Close to downtown. Easy check in and friendly staff. Easy to park near your room to carry luggage into the room.

This was not our first visit to this Best Western. As on every stay at this location, everything was very good. The entire staff makes you feel welcomed. The rooms have always been clean and all items/appliances work exactly as they should. The complementary breakfast is a complete menu and the dining area is always clean!

Place very clean. Breakfast very good. Great location in Asheville. My only complaint would be the noise-could have slept better if didn't hear all noises in adjacent rooms and outside. Other than that would definitely stay here again. Staff friendly and courteous.

Great stop! We were driving across the country from the outer banks back to Colorado and we needed a place to stop for the night. We found this place and all thought it cost a bit more than we were hoping to spend when we got to the room we understood why. It was much nicer than most of the other stays we had chosen along the way. It was clean, the air conditioning wasn't loud and the rooms were quiet. The pillows and the bed were very comfy as well.

Very nice room clean. The pool was great many umbrellas to use and was clean. Ice machine worked. Breakfast meal was excellent. Lots of different items to choose from. Plenty of area to eat in. We enjoyed watching the fish as we ate.

Had such a great time at this hotel. We are visiting from Florida and the hotel staff members gave us a couple restaurants and activities to do while we are in town which we did some of them and they were amazing! Being a platinum member I have always been treated amazing at any best western we went to including this one. Will definitely be back when we are in town again. I am also pregnant and they made sure I had everything I needed including help answer questions about the breakfast that I had and gave me towels for the pool so I could soak my feet from walking around town all day.

Very nice place that allows pets. Room was clean and the breakfast was good. It's in a good location close to a lot of restaurants and shopping areas. I would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Ashville.

The Front office was super friendly! The room was clean and tidy!the breakfast bar was amazing! Sausage gravy and biscuits scrambled eggs hash browns. Cereal Belgian waffles and more ! Great stay well worth the money pool was beautiful as well!! We will stay again

We were traveling through the area and needed a place to stay for one night. This was perfect! It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was perfect and we were able to get in and out with ease for travel purposes.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The pool was open from 10 to 10 and we were able to relax and get some exercise in during our down times. The staff were friendly and helpful with information.

The room was very clean and the beds and pillows were awesome. It had everything we needed for our 2 day stay. The breakfast was very good. If I had a complaint it would be the air unit was very noisy vibrating. The tub was also very slippery. All in all it was a very nice and clean place to stay. Employees were also very professional and nice.

Close to the Blue Ridge Pkwy and a short drive to other attractions in town. I will always make this my destination place to stay when visiting Asheville. Also the attendant for the complimentary breakfast was the best I have experienced in all of my travels.

Very nice Best Western with clean rooms, lots of parking, good outdoor pool with mini basketball hoop, and an indoor swimming pool in the GLO hotel building, good breakfast, friendly front desk staff, and trees behind the hotel.

Our go -to spot in Asheville, NC and may other cities for base camp and touring the city. You can get more amenities in other hotels for more money but the rooms are always well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Great remodels!

The Counter person at checking was very rude to my wife and I, We request/reserved a No Smoking Room but ended up getting either a room near someone who smoked or a room someone had smoked in before. Then they attempted to blame us for the smell in the room. I took a photo is the bed sheets which shows someone had smoked in that room before or the sheets was switched as the sheets has cigarette burns in them. Then through the night someone was either smoking outside or rear our door or smoke from inside the hotel was drifting into our room. We had to turn on and leave on the bathroom fan in order to draw the smoke out. Plus the heater wasn't working correctly, Cold one min, Hot the next. I submitted this same review on another reservation site. So when the sign says NO SMOKING, Thats means no smoking in or around the hotel. Hotels need to enforce this instead of just having traveler sign waivers staying they wont smoke when they actually did. Plus we ended up getting blame for the smell in our room and the hotel is still holding our hotel fee. Clearly I pointed out that someone had smoked in this room before us and the staff did nothing to fumigate the smell. I reserved a no smoking room then I should get what I reserved.

We visited Asheville on New Years Day to see the Christmas Lights at Biltmore House. The hotel is closely located to the Biltmore House, restaurants, and other attractions in this area. We found the hotel to be clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast selection had a good variety of items and was mostly tasty. We found the oatmeal to be thicker and gravy thinner than we liked, but this is just a matter of our taste. We found the hotel to be a good value especially if you are a Best Westerns Rewards Member.

We spent 2 nights here. The room (king jacuzzi option) was spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. The bathroom and the jacuzzi were very clean. There were plenty of towels, hangers, storage, etc. Lighting was good. Plenty of pillows and a comfortable bed. It was on a platform, so just took a tad more effort to climb in! We couldn't hear noise from adjoining rooms. Parking was ample and very convenient.

I love Best Western. The facility in Ashville NC was clean and perfect, the breakfast food/coffee was delicious and the staff kind and friendly. Great location to the Blueridge Parkway. I will definitely stay there again.

I travel often, out of all my stays in my travels throughout the lower US, from Florida to California and from North Carolina to Oklahoma, I have found a hotel that really knows how to host their guests. I enjoyed my stay so much, that it felt like home. The ambiance of the dining area with an electric fireplace and spacious seating really make dining pleasurable. The Breakfast selection is plentiful, micro clean and very hot meals prepared. Coffee is plentiful throughout the evening and morning hours. The room I stayed in was also very clean. I personally enjoyed the towel origami art. The housekeeping team are very cognizant of the guests needs and very willing to accomodate. All the Front desk employees were respectful, polite, informative & kind. God only knows we need kindness in today's hostile environment. A note of improvement, not a criticism by all means - the pillows are breaking down. I usually bring my own but forgot this time around. A big thank you to the Management team for an excellent stay.

This stay was perfect for us. Easy roads to visit the Biltmore Estate. The room, including shower/bath are very clean. It was nice to have fresh coffee and variety at breakfast in the lobby area.. We highly recommend this Tunnel Road Best Western to be near to attractions in Asheville.

My husband and I were very happy with the friendly and helpful staff and the comfortable and clean room. The clerk at the desk quickly checked us in and helped us find some places to eat for supper. The breakfast bar was clean and well-stocked.

Wonderful location just down the road from the BeauCatcher Tunnel (which is similar evidently to the Covered Bridges in SE PA where many a young man are caught, and possibly exit as fiances, but that's another story), and situated just on the south side of the hill. Proprietors have kept the property up with a 2013-ish redo. It's a very nice facility - breakfast room is accessible to all, desk staff are courteous and knowledgeable (and if you're a Bob Newhart fan, you'll appreciate these guys). Room was larger than we expected (even with two queens inside). Suitcase caddy in the corner, TV that works with the first click, nice towels, and the walls are solid - no cardboard where the sound carries through. Lastly, coffee on tap in the breakfast room. So if you're passing through and don't want the downtown crusin'/parking hassle, stay here, and commute in - it's only a mile to the eclectic downtown Asheville, and it's Euro Bakery where the pastries are, well, just plain delicious. Don't be slow now - git on over to the Best Western Ashevile Tunnel Road

This was a very nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Was very impressed with the cleaniness. The bed was very comfortable though a little high and hard for my friend to get in. The breakfast was top notch. Overall I give it an excellent review and would definitely stay there again.

Excellent stay all the way around from the Extra Clean Rooms to the Excellent Breakfast they provide every morning. 5 Star rating on this one!! Check in was simple and Ice and extras were easy to get to.

Great Asheville Hotel if you're in town and want a reasonably priced hotel. It's in a great location on Tunnel Road very close to everything you could possibly need. I enjoy led the receptionist at the hotel when I checked in and when I checked out. The housekeepers did a great job taking care of our room. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back in Asheville.

Room was clean. Location was wonderful. The staff at the front desk was helpful and pleasant. Our main reason for staying was we passed through and wanted something close to local breweries and it worked out great.

We booked 2 rooms for our group just overnight for Thanksgiving. The place is kept super clean, that is our first priority. The beds were cozy and the internet worked great. Cable tv was good, lots of channels available. We will return in the future.

This hotel was located close to the downtown area. It is priced well. It was clean and beds were comfortable. There's plenty of room and included a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast had a lot of good options. We stayed 2 nights and would stay again.

We wanted a location that afforded easy access to both South and North Asheville. The Tunnel Road Best Western was perfect in this regard with easy access to I240 without the feeling you are at an interstate interchange. The property is very well maintained and clean. And the staff were friendly and helpful. Clearly both management and staff take pride in providing a good experience for travelers.

We checked in this hotel after going to The Biltmore. Check in was quick. Was thanked for being a rewards member. Room was nice and clean. Nice they offer complimentary water and candy in room. Hotel was quiet at night so no issue sleeping. Breakfast was nice with a lot of choice to choose from. This hotel has one of the nicest breakfast we have stayed in. We will make sure to stay at this hotel next time in Asheville.

I was pleasantly surprised with the accomiation of (full-breakfast) along with super clean rooms at an affordable price. I usually stay at other Hotel Chains, but that has now changed for Best Western is now my go-too!

Fast checkin and clean quiet comfortable room. Many places to eat were less than a 5 minute drive. Good breakfast with the normal choices found in mid-priced properties. Would stay again and it is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We went to Asheville to see the Fall color on the Blueridge Parkway. We picked this hotel because we knew BW always had good value and good breakfast. Turns out the location was also a big PLUS... just a couple miles from a Parkway access that was close to both the Cultural Arts Center and the main Parkway Visitor Center. They met my BW expectations.. clean room, reasonable price (we went mid-week, because weekend prices get kind of crazy), and lots of good breakfast choices. The four of us played cards every night, and they were kind enough to let us use a table in their breakfast area... which also included juice and coffee at night. all the staff were courteous and helpful.

Nice room with small refrigerator, microwave and safe to lock up any valuables while we hiked the Blue Ridge trails. Friendly staff and a good breakfast to start your day. So close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Asheville for dinner and a great cup of coffee on a cold day.

Excellent location to go to the Biltmore Estate as well as downtown Asheville. Wonderful staff, great breakfast. Reasonably priced. Staff had great recommendations for dinner options and they turned out to be excellent.

This was either the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed in this specific hotel. When we checked in they had to get the housekeeping list before assigning rooms. Shortly after checking in the guy from the front desk barged into the room and when he realized we were sitting there he said "oh, I'm sorry, this room was reported as being dirty by the cleaning staff." He did not explain or offer to move us to a different room... just left. I know for a fact that rooms are classified by cleanliness and working order and then assigned to patrons in order of their status (rewards, non rewards, etc.) and also by the rates. I've seen the lists before and how they were assigned. It would seem that we were given a shabby dirty room even though I'm a rewards member... We also noticed that every time we went into the room our sinuses immediately stopped up and the room smelled musty and not fresh and the AC was super loud and "dank musty" smelling like mold. The water pressure was horribly low and it was hard to get rinsed in the shower. The two queen beds sloped downward towards the head and the mattresses seemed worn out and were impossible to sleep on. Also, the people in the next door room seemed to be staying long term and had multiple visitors in "van life" vans and slammed their door many many times and talked really loud all night during our 3 night stay. I'm not one to complain usually but, in this instance I'm not sure I'll be staying there again due to the problems.

Our room was so musky! You could barely breathe. I went back to the desk to ask for another the employee wasn't there. I went several times the next day because of that, the sheets were dirty when we got there, also I wanted another blanket because the one I had was so thin. The employee was never at the desk. I finally set in the lobby for a good amount of time(on vacation) the employee came out of the bathroom and had been vaping. He had it in his hand and breathed smoke out!

Nice pet-friendly hotel with good breakfast! The room was clean, spacious, and updated. The pet fee was reasonable at $20 per night. The exterior entry doors worked well for my dog. There is also a nice grassy area behind the hotel for walking your dog.

The bedroom smells funny, I think it was cigarette smell but for the price I can't really complain, it does the job, O would stay there if I need to. The good thing is that is very close to the main attractions in downtown, no more than 10-15 minutes. It has a pool

I have stayed at the Best Western Asheville now 3 times this year. They are very pet friendly and I enjoy some "me" time with my dogs. Best Western Tunnel Rd is a super convenient location in Asheville and has this wonderful, grassy area equipped with doggie bags and trash can to walk your pets. They also keep the pool super clean and sparkly!

I read reviews online prior to booking my stay here, and I don't know why some of them were so low. One night, I stayed in a room with king bed (second floor), and then stayed in an interior king suite two additional nights. I was allowed to bring my dogs, too, and they had a great time! Both the normal room and suite were well-kept, clean, and updated. The Wifi and cable worked well, and the pool hours were lengthy (10A-10P). The staff was pleasant and attentive, and there were multiple options for the warm breakfast. Our location was perfect, as the motel was only a few miles from downtown Asheville and where we boarded our other two dogs in Swannanoa. If given the chance, I'll stay here again.

Room was musty and AC couldn't help. The property is older and can use a revamp. Breakfast was not great. Eggs & sausage was cold & sausage was inedible. There are other options like cereal, oatmeal, bananas.

Location is not too far away from downtown Asheville. Not many food options directly close to hotel but Asheville has too many places that are tremendous. Room was clean and air condition worked well. Clean towels, clean sheets. Beds were comfortable. Pool was in great shape even though weather was not permitting us to swim.

This motel was very nice, with big rooms with microwave, refrigerator. The beds were comfortable and set up very nice. The breakfast was good with eggs, gravy, sausage, waffles, fruit, variety of bread and fruits. The staff seem to be attentive to everyone's needs.

The room was clean and comfortable. and the price was good. It's in a great location, only about 5 miles for Biltmore Estate. We also took a tour bus around the town of Asheville. the driver was very informative and interesting and the buildings are gorgeous!! We plan to make the trip again in December and will stay at Bet Western.

This is our second stay at this location. Close to highway, mall, restaurants, etc. We had special request which was arranged for before we checked in. Breakfast room nice and clean. Seemed like someone was always cleaning inside and out! All staff very friendly.

Great hotel convenient to downtown asheville. Room was clean and hotel grounds were taken care of. Free breakfast was good and convenient. Would definitely be staying here again on my travel to asheville. Easy chech in and easy check out took only a minute.

Had a wonderful stay. The breakfast options were nice and tasty. The hotel isn't new but they keep it exceptionally clean. The staff was wonderful also. No complaints! I would consider their Glo location next door if you're looking for something a bit more modern!

Excellent location for visiting the beautiful city of Asheville and had a nice clean well equipped room. Our room had easy access and was very quiet. The staff was very attentive to our needs and friendly. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts and the nice atmosphere for eating there. We enjoy visiting the city of Asheville and always do our touring from The Best Western.

I woke up at 3:00AM and turned on the light. Roaches scattered across the room like quail started in a field. I got dressed, packed my travel bag and left. Any facility that uses routine pest control services would not have the amount of roaches I saw in my room. Still turns my stomach 24 hours later.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and they never disappoint. Front staff and breakfast workers are always nice and friendly. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the outdoor pool is nice. Lots of channels on the tv. Also, I have allergies, so I checked the filters in the air conditioner to see if I needed to rinse them off - nope, clean as a whistle!

Excellent hotel! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety and was well stocked and clean. The room was super clean and had everything you need. The bed was comfy and the room was nicely updated. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Parking was a little limited but not a huge issue. Overall great stay and would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel ground was clean and inviting. Diamond breakfast! Room was spacious and clean. The best part is the location close to Blue Ridge Parkway and supermarket where we picked up our snacks. Highly recommended and we will be back!

On most days, I might have given this hotel a 3 or 4 star. It is a complex of multiple 2-storey older buildings with exterior entrances, but is well-maintained and has the modern conveniences that we expect and appreciate. Pool, very substantial breakfast, well-maintained grounds, superior check-in staff... it is a very attactive place for families and kids to stay. Ours was a 2-day stay to visit with family. We checked in early, and were informed that the rooms were being steam-cleaned that day. No problem. We were, in fact, pleased to hear that the hotel took pride in doing regular maintenance. On our late return, we found that the carpet and tile floors were still wet, and the bedding was damp and cold. It was too late, and we were too tired to deal with concerns that night. The worst of it was the smell - musty, smoky and dank. The staff was very good about addressing our concerns the next morning. Again, we were gone for the day into the late evening. When we returned, a dehumidifier was in the room, the odor had abated somewhat, the carpet was drying, but the humidity still registered over 80%. But it was definitely much better than the first night. We loved the attractiveness of the place overall, though it felt a little out of the way, and there are no major facilities within walking distance that we could see. The staff in the breakfast area were constantly cleaning, and the grounds were being tended to by another staff member. The breakfast room is in the main part of the hotel in a separate building that does have a few rooms with an inside hallway. It also had a large aquarium. The breakfast menu consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, pre-made omlet packages, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and waffles with available toppings. The bathroom is modern and functions well. There were only two bath towels provided, and they were not as plush as with many hotels. the bedding (apart from the unfortunate dampness) was of excellent quality. Beyond the usual amenities in the room, there was a comfortable lounger and footstool, plus a good office chair. Our stay this time left much to be desired, but I think that the facilities and staff have enough positives to have us back another time.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful with our questions. Our room was on the second floor and spacious even with two beds. All was clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom fan was rather noisy. The breakfast buffet was most impressive: Belgian waffles, omelet, sausage, biscuits with gravy, fresh fruit and much more. The breakfast seating area was large and kept refreshed. Well worth what we paid for.

The location of this hotel was great! Just off all major highways. Five minutes from Asheville. Very clean especially the breakfast area. The ladies there do any exceptional job to keep everything replenished and clean. I definitely would recommend.

The food was very good and the dining area clean and spacious. Location was perfect for us as it was just a couple of minutes from downtown. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Will stay here again the next time we visit Asheville.

They did a great job with accommodating my Mom. She's disabled and they were able to put us right near the front and the room had a handicap space right in front of it. Could not have been a better spot!

We stayed here in Mid July for 3 days. Room 137-A. The room had a very musty smell in it, which I believe came from the air conditioning system. Bathroom design was extremely awkward and small. A couple outlets didn't work. Never used the outdoor pool but it looked pretty good. Free Breakfast was basic. Ladies worked hard to keep things full. This location needs a serious updating by Best Western.

No complaints. Military rates, good breakfast, and clean facility. Pool was extremely clean for an outdoor pool. Will definitely stay here again when in the Asheville area. Roughy 5 minutes from the mall and other shopping.

The number of older hotels with exterior entrances that aren't "sketchy" are getting fewer as time goes by. This one is still good. I admit I had lower expectations before arriving, but those quickly vanished. It's well-maintained, clean, AC works very well, and the beds are super-comfy. Desk staff is very pleasant, and - bonus points - they acknowledge BW "elite" status (via the BW Mastercard) at check-in, and there were two small bottle waters waiting for us in the room, with a few pieces of candy. A pleasant surprise. Will definitely stay here next time we're in Asheville.

We stayed here while visiting the Biltmore. It was close to downtown Asheville and things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed all the choices at breakfast! The room was clean and we didn't experience any problems during our stay.

What a nice hotel! Great location, clean and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed, nice decor and close to where we were going. Breakfast was good and continually stocked with all the different items. Check in and out was easy too. Will stay here again when back in Asheville.

My wife, dog, and I stayed there one night as we were visiting friends who live outside of Asheville. The facility was wonderful. Our room had excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds, well-equipped bathroom/shower, and was quiet (no thin walls!). Our dog seemed quite relaxed in the room, lol. Plus, they have a really good dog-walking area in an area to the rear of the grounds that was quite shady and as a result, relatively cool. There were doggie bag dispensers there, too. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee was excellent. Check in/out was just right. We'd stay there again!

Definitely a great stay at a great rate for the area. Convenient to shopping, dining and many other attractions and our room was very clean and accommodating! Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly!

A fabulous experience starting with my phone call to inquire about their pet policy! Greeted at arrival by their friendly front end staff. Our room was so clean and smelled amazing (not what I have come to expect in pet friendly hotels)! The pool was well maintained. The pet walk area is clean and big enough for the dogs to stretch their legs. Breakfast included gluten free options and the associate at the breakfast station was able to answer my questions regarding ingredients. Fabulous price. This hotel far exceeded our expectations.

We stayed two nights. Rooms were very clean, staff was extremely helpful and the hot breakfast buffet in the morning was super. Lots of choices! Hotel was a great choice for us, we were extremely happy and will definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by this Best Westerns. The staff was very friendly, the rooms are beautiful and very clean.The beds are very comfy and it was very quiet although it seemed a lot of rooms were full. I was disappointed we couldn't stay longer! We'll definitely be staying here again when we return to visit Asheville!

I stayed 2 nights here for work. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great. They had omelette, waffles, sausage, biscuits, gravy, juice, coffee, fruit, bagels, and I'm sure more I'm missing. The pool is open from 10a-10p and is nice. My room was very clean!! Comfy bed, blankets and pillows. Bathroom was as clean as you can get! I'm coming up here 2 nights a week for the next 13 weeks and this is where I'll be staying!!

One of the best hotels we have stayed at.The employees take pride in their work and go out of their way to help you feel welcomed.My grandchildren loved the pool and eating their dinner outside. Best of all was the dog park.

Overpriced and dirty room. Pool area and walkways were dirty. Better care needed. Questionable area on busy road. Not impressed and will think twice before booking at Best Western again. Very disappointed.

Excellent guest service after arriving by 2 am that night. The bed was amazing!! Room clean. I've stayed here several times. Pool is great and the breakfast is great. Close to restaurants, shopping and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Can't say enough about BW hotels! Great quality in every way, and great value also! They have the best rewards program out there and their properties have never disappointed us! This one was no exception. Great friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and wonderful, very clean and comfortable room. We wish we could find BW Hotels in every town we stop in when we travel!

Pleasant place with good location. Staff was very nice. Breakfast buffet was very good. Pool was crystal clear. It should be noted that the hotel is very close to the road and freeway on and off exit ramps with heavy traffic at times. While it takes awareness entering and exiting the hotel parking lot, the rooms were surprisingly quiet.

We really liked the best western Asheville Tunnel Road. The room was roomy and pleasant, and such a great Breakfast buffet! We had a dog and had a good place for dogs also. Friendly staff and such an excellent location for a road trip. We will stay there again!

During the first morning, after opening up the curtains, I noticed gnats and saw what looked like ant-covered kibble and dog hairs on the floor near the window. I notified desk staff that morning, and they said they'd been short staffed, but they'd take care of it. When I returned to the room between 1-2 pm, doors were open around my room, but the floor hadn't been cleaned. I left again, thinking housekeeping would get to mine in time, but when I returned later that night, the kibble was still there. Ants too. I was in town for a memorial, so at that point, I didn't feel like asking the staff to address this issue yet again. So I just kept all my things on the other side of the room. When I checked out, I brought up the issue, and the front desk staff person was very apologetic and took off $50 or so from my room charges.

This was a clean motel with friendly staff, the room was nice and roomy with an amazing breakfast buffet!! They also had a cute lit up gazebo where you could eat or grill and allowed pets! Loved that you could just drive up to your room..we also enjoyed the spacious swimming pool outdoors! We were close to everything but yet tucked away from it all

I recommend the Best Western Asheville Tunnel Road. Conveniently located right off the exit from I-240, but quiet all the same. Pool open until 10, comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, breakfast and wifi. What more do you need?

We stopped on our way, we didn't have a reservation. The staff found us a lovely room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The king room is large, fridge microwave large living living room chair. There is a pool and a guest laundry, plenty of parking

We have stayed at this Best Western a few other times and we were impressed with the upgrades since our last stay. Everything had new paint and the rooms had also been updated. The property was clean and quiet. We had no problems with check in and no noise during the night. Breakfast had a good variety including biscuits, gravy, sausage, fruit, yogurt and the traditional hotel waffle maker.

Room appeared clean BUT if you look at the bed you'll see hair all over and I even found a bug on each bed. It appeared to be somekind of flying bugs but still YUCK. The room smelled like mildew it was musty and horrible. I had to spray lysol just to stay in the room. It was gross. Don't do it. The carpet is about 80 years old and has never been changed atleast it doesn't look like it. Everything is damp. The bathroom appeared new but the water pressure was horrible the shower head was loose the toilet was loose on the floor and wobbled. Overall, I will NEVER stay here again.

This is a fairly large motel-style property that felt a bit dated. While you could park in front of first floor rooms, for most rooms there were still a few stairs to negotiate and you can't unload directly into your room. Breakfast was average at best, with hot entrees that were bland. Overall cleanliness was fine, though the whirlpool tub in our bedroom (a nice upgrade, but not one we requested) gave an unpleasant cleaning products smell to the bedroom. There are many other options in the area (including a new Best Western "Glo" property next door), and I'd probably try something else next time I'm in the area.

This facility has lovely rooms complete with all the usual amenities. The breakfast area is especially inviting. It has many seating options, is nicely decorated, and is unusually spacious. All staff are friendly and accommodating with all of our miscellaneous questions. But our favorite feature is the attractive, clean and well kept aquarium in the lobby directly adjoining the breakfast area!

Spent two nights at this clean and well maintained location. The hotel is surrounded by trees which adds to the Blue Ridge Mountains locale. You are close to downtown and have easy access to go other areas. I highly recommend this Best Western. One of the best we have stayed at.

Very good hotel. Rooms are well kept and clean. Bathroom was clean and all fixtures worked. This was a great location for us as it is close to the River Arts District that we were there to visit. Other places to shop and dine are also close by. There is easy access to I-240 and I-40 close by as well. Hotel parking is easy to get in and out of.

We travel to Asheville several times a year to see our family. Best Western on Tunnel Rd is our go to place to stay. It has modern amenities and is always clean. I love that we can also bring our fur baby with us. Convenient location and friendly employees.

The hotel is located 5 minutes from downtown Asheville and about 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge parkway. There are a lot of chain restaurants about 2 miles down Tunnel road. It is on a 5 lane road near several freeway ramps but I never had a problem making a left hand turn. Be advised you will need to drive everywhere there is nothing that is within walking distance. I asked for a room away from the highway on my preregistration. They gave me one in the back corner. It was very quiet. Never even heard the neighbors. The staff was professional and efficient. The property is well maintained. The room and everything else was clean. There are no elevators. There is a standard breakfast bar in the morning. They have make the pre-made omelets, biscuits, gravy and sausage patties for hot food. There is daily maid service. They did not always replace shampoo, coffee supplies, etc. but you can get them from the front desk if you ask. Pool was not yet open but they were working on it while I was there. Be advised it is in the front parking lot.

Hotel has recently been updated. Rooms are clean and bright. Wifi is excellent in rooms and breakfast area. Conveniently located with easy access to highways , downtown and River Arts district. Lots of shopping and restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices. Well stocked and area kept very clean. Three different fresh fruit choices daily. Make you own waffles and pancakes.

My husband and I have stayed in this Best Western several times over the last year. We have enjoyed our stay each time. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Plus, we always bring our dog for just $20. The location is close to everything…hiking trails, restaurants, shopping, breweries, etc. We highly recommend Best Western Asheville, Tunnel Road.

We chose this location from Tripadvisor reviews, as usual and we were very pleased. The location was very convenient although most of Asheville is easy to navigate. Price was very good and the facility was spotless Breakfast was typical choices and was well stocked. We had a room in rear and it was quiet. Main road is busy at times and noisy. Only one complaint. The towels were like sandpaper. I have never had such terrible towels so it stood out. Otherwise, loved the BW and would return since I assume there must have been a screw-up with laundry

Highly recommend staying here. When we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised to see the updated room. Even the bathroom shower looked great. Sometimes its just the little things to help make you feel at home. The bed was comfy and room was clean. I always bring cleaners with me due to covid but i was very impressed that they made so much effort to make us feel safe. We were unable to try the pool as it was still to cold. You do get a breakfast in the morning in the office area. It was hot and coffee was good. Pancakes, cereal, etc. Nothing was complicated about staying here. Staff were very pleasant and gotcha in and out. ALSO would like to add that we forgot an item in the room and once we figured out that that is where we left it the staff had it put aside and it was mailed to our home. We did have to pay for the service to mail it but that was not a problem to us. I just appreciate they had the item and held it for abit. Thanks to all the people and delivery company. You guys were great!

Three of us stayed here for 3 nights while exploring Ashville. It is convenient to the airport, Biltmore, downtown and arts district. The hotel is excellent. Friendly people at the desk, comfortable rooms and a quiet location. The housekeeping did an excellent job, the room was very clean(also a couple waters and tiny candies!). We were very impressed with the breakfast offerings especially the pancake machine. The breakfast room is large and kept clean and stocked. There will always be something people find wrong about a place, but this place has so many things right, even the price.

We needed a room for a quick stop mid-road trip. Traveling with a dog often complicates things, but we are so thankful Best Western welcomes pups. They were flexible with our late arrival. The green space for dogs was well kept and had baggies for waste. The room was tidy and clean as well. The beds were comfortable and the rate was quite reasonable. We would definitely book again on our way back through town.

This is our first time traveling with a dog, so we picked the hotel for its fair pet pricing and it's reviews. We were beyond pleased with everything and my husband conceded that this hotel was right up there then the high end ones he usually prefers.

Stayed here for the first time while on the road traveling. We only stayed 1 night but we had a good night sleep. Everything very clean, room updated and modern and everything in working order. I would definately recommend. There are so many other hotels in the area that are so expensive and this Best Western is budget friendly, pet friendly and breakfast is a good start to your morning. There are pancakes and coffee, cereal and more. The location is very good by shopping if you need anything. There is no reason to pay so much money for other hotels when you can get what you need right here. Highly recommend

GOOD Staff........ 5/5 (including breakfast staff) Breakfast-5/5 (Still think breakfast should be free) BAD Bed Quality- 3/5 (Was uncomfortable) Noise-...........-3/5 (Road noise despite being on the quiet side) Value............-3/5 (Almost ALL Asheville hotels are overpriced, especially weekends) Overall 4/5 I probably NOT stay at the property again, because of the road noise and beds.

We stayed here for several nights, and loved the hotel. It was comfortable, the breakfast was AWESOME and the staff were welcoming. We had a pet as well and they have a beautiful spot to walk the animals and it was very well maintained. The parking lot felt very secure (with camera monitoring). It's also just down the road from a nature center where we took our kids. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

We stayed 5 nights at the Asheville, NC location. Our room was the last one on the 2nd floor facing the woods, and at the opposite end from the highway so it was very quiet and comfortable. The cheese omelet at breakfast was very good. My beau enjoyed making his own delicious waffles. I too enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese. Delicious coffee.

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean, quiet, staff very efficient and courteous. Would recommend to anyone traveling to that area. I was concerned about how close it was to the road but no traffic noise was heard at all.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice rooms. All around great stay at a reasonable price. I liked that it was well lit in the parking lot as we arrived after dark. We will definitely be returning, hopefully in the warmer weather so we can use the pool.

What a great find! We could hardly believe the good deal we found. It's a slightly older property but in good repair, quiet with a pleasant staff, convenient location. We loved the big front window that opened up to the wooded hillside.

Excellent place. We were pleasantly surprised by this motel and glad we picked it. The room was clean and didn't not have any musty or odd smells which was great! The beds were decently comfortable and could give a good nights rest. Location was quiet. It was pet friendly but we were unable to tell it was because we couldn't tell any pets had been in the room. Breakfast was alright. They had premade, frozen omelets which is not what we are used to. They had to be microwaved which slows breakfast down a lot when it's crowded. A lot of the foods needed some prep time. I'm not sure if it's a COVID thing and the lack of hot, steam tables. It was also the same types of omelets daily and no meat proteins available. They did have a variety of cereal, yogurts, pancakes, waffles, fruits, muffins and breads. All in all a good stay and would stay here again.

I have nothing but praise for the people at this hotel. From the manager to others at the front desk and the maintenance staff, their desire to serve the guests at the Ashville Tunnel Road Best Western was evident! We were not ready to navigate the expected 8 - 12 inch snowfall expected at our home on the outskirts of Mount Mitchell without a 4 wheel drive vehicle which our neighbors said we needed to get up the steep driveway. We just moved there from California at the end of December and our stay at this Best Western was in early February. We had our two cats with us, who are experienced travelers but don't like strangers coming into the room which paired well with COVID protocols. Though we had a "do not disturb" sign on the door, whenever they saw us or when the sign was not on the door, housekeeping knocked and asked if we needed anything. We stayed at several similar hotels and motels during our cross-country journey from California, and this was the ONLY hotel that checked in with us. The breakfast offers a variety of foods so we didn't have to eat the same thing every day. The dining room is comfortable and pleasant as was our room. I would not hesitate to book there again, for a short or long-term stay.

This BW is one of the best I have been in. The ones in the west are usually very good. The ones in the east are mostly outdated and worn out. This was my first in the south and it was outstanding. Shows pride of staff and owners. Remodeled rooms and lobby. Good clean rooms ,internet, hot water, comfortable beds and a filling breakfast. I recommend this if you are travelling to Ashville

Best western has become my go to place to stay. Oh and the price is tight Very clean. . Beds are amazing, I usually hurt all might at other hotels. pillows are so comfortable very good breakfast. Fairly close to great restaurants great shower bathroom is the first thing I check out

Why pay more when this hotel is available. Close to everything, restaurants, the inter-states and other major roads. Close to downtown Asheville, the Asheville Mall and great shopping on Airport Road, all readily accessible.

Best Western location are run separately and not like a chain hotel. We have stay at many BW locations and the Asheville Best Western is one of the finest. This location has become one of our main "go to" places to stay while in Asheville. Great accommodations, manger and staff.

Room was great. Very clean and seemed recently renovated. Was in a perfect location just a 5 min drive into downtown and close the hiking. Breakfast was great with more options than any other best western we've stayed at. Overall very impressed and would definitely recommend.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel while we toured the Biltmore. The Biltmore is a very short distance from this hotel. The hotel send us a reminder a day before we arrived and allowed us a speedy check-in. We were very pleased with the staff which went above and beyond normal hotels to insure our stay was awesome. The room was clean, the breakfast was exactly what we needed to start our day.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here while we hiked the area and toured the Biltmore. It had a great location and our room was super clean and even had a nice view of surrounding mts. The hot breakfast was delicious . The front desk staff was very helpful in helping me use the gift cards I had earned in one of the Best Western Fall promotions. Would recommend this hotel!

Room was clean and comfortable, friendly staff, and a great location. Breakfast was an extra perk with nice selections of hot and cold items. Hotel sent an email a day or so in advance of our stay for a pre-checkin. This made our arrival very easy.

The inn is set up like the Best Westerns I remember from my childhood--nice rooms in what we used to call "motor courts" (rooms that you can drive up to as opposed to those in enclosed hallways). It may be one of the older inns, but it is well maintained and doesn't have an appearance in any part of the property as being "old and needing update." The lobby is attractive, with a generously sized breakfast room. We were pleased with the selection of breakfast foods. I was especially hungry at breakfast time, so I was glad that they had some adult (unsweetened) cereal, delicious egg omelets, a variety of fruits, fresh coffee, and milk. Thank you for thinking of various types of diets, including those of us on a sugar-free diet. Believe it or not, there are hotels which serve only sugar-sweetened foods that those of us on a sugar restricted diet can't eat. The room was spacious, with the toilet room and shower separate from the sink, which we always like. We were able to get the TV channels that we like, and the Internet was fast enough to suit us. There is an outdoor pool, which is used seasonally. We noticed a lot of dogs at the inn, so if you have a dog, this is a good place for you. We had a room on the second floor, and this is what we prefer, but if you have a handicap, you might want to ask specifically for a first-floor room. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

My review of our hotel room: A coffee maker with no pot. A fridge that is not cold. So we cannot keep water, soda, juice, etc cold in the room. We asked them to remedy three times each. You have to remember to tell them each morning to make up the room. Otherwise we come back to full trash cans and wet towels. So we had to go the the check building to get coffee, clean towels and TP. We have to do that at home. Might as well stay home. Even when we asked for the room to be made up, it was not. Per Best Western's own sign on the desk, anything below a perfect 10 is zero in their book. So I give them a ZERO!

This was a nice place. The room was clean and it is a pretty quiet location. The rooms are in relatively good shape. When I was there they were painting the outside so they are making improvements. The location was a little bit off a pain as far as getting in and out, but there was a target and Walmart near by so it was still conveniently located.

Recently remodeled and very clean. Good value for the rate. Good location. Dog friendly with area for dogs outside. Close to downtown and the Biltmore. Front desk staff were helpful and breakfast was A+

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. It is located close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown, Plus much more. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast offered a variety of items and a nice span of time it was available. Plenty of parking.

The staff was courteous and professional. Unfortunately, the room was very musty smelling. The cost of $293.92 for a one night stay (Labor Day weekend) was very high. We requested a 1st floor room at check-in due to a medical issue. We were not accommodated.

Our week long stay was very nice. The hotel room had an issue with the door lock which we reported to the friendly front desk attendant and it was taken care of promptly and we received a compensation for the inconvenience. Love the location of this hotel as it is very easy access to downtown Asheville and also close to Black Mountain, as well as many local restaurants.

I visited Asheville with my family and stayed at this hotel. Staff was friendly, check in and check out were efficient, the rooms were clean and comfortable, there was no noise, and the continental breakfast (even though COVID modified) was great to have available. The location was perfect for access to downtown, the Biltmore, and local hiking trails. Lots of good food within 5-10 minutes of driving too. The Glo hotel next door allows use of their gym since this property doesn't have a fitness center. Great value for the cost, I would stay here again.

We have stayed here 3 times in 2020-21 and it does the job fine. Staff of nice and they did better with Covid era breakfast than most. Location is good as was the price of the room. Everything seemed sanitary. The room itself is kind of small and a bit dated and dreary though - hard to give more than 3 stars based on the quality of the accommodations. We would stay again though if we needed a room in the area, just keep your expectations reasonable for a budget room.

We stayed at the Asheville best western on tunnel rd for 3 nights. It was abs awesome stay. The only issue we had on the first night was a minor toilet issue that was fixed very quickly. Staff was pleasant and kind.

The air conditioner was very loud and the air was blowing directly on the head of the bed. It would better if the air could be deflected. There was mold on the bottom of the wall in the bathroom. I was told the hotel was sold out so I couldn't change rooms. I won't stay there again. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Breakfast area clean and fully stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The pool was clean and well maintained. They have area for your pet's necessities. Would definitely stay again. I highly recommend.

We found at least 6 millipedes crawling around. We told the front desk, and all they said was “Oh no”. Room also smells damp… bad experience. Location is decent and the rooms aren't bad, but this was bad

I stayed at the Best Western because I had to go to the VA. The staff at the motel was very nice. Everything was good except the carpet in the room needed a good cleaning. My wifes and my feet were black from the carpet. There was also a roach in the room. Other than that the stay was alright.

The Tunnel Road location of this Best Western is perfect for us when we visit our son in Asheville. The property is very well maintained, and the staff is very attentive. We have never had a problem of any kind there. The breakfast buffet was good, though a bit more limited because of COVID. There is always coffee, tea, or hot chocolate available no matter the time, and there is a good high capacity washer and dryer on the premises (the front desk has plenty of quarters when you need them). The beds are comfortable, the rooms clean, and the shower works well. Couldn't ask for more from a hotel.

I stayed for two nights with friends on a motorcycle trip. This property is very nice! The grounds are spotless, the rooms are very nice and the Pool fantastic. All the staff was courteous and helpful. There is an onsite laundry which was nice. This location is a short hop into town. We Ubered for $12. You won't be disappointed if you chose this property

I was afraid it would be loud in the back parking lot, but it was quiet and i was able to sleep. The bedding was soft & comfy ;) I usually clean the room surfaces & bathroom before setteling with desinfecting wipes. Usually the wipes come out very dirty at some hotels I've stayed in but this one was so clean I uas VERY impressed. Not a speck of gunk or dust was on the wipes! Kudos to the cleaning crew! This will be my rest stop next time.

Booked online via Booking.com. upon checking in found that there was additional charges that were not disclosed at booking for pets. Asked to speak with manager and was told there was not one on duty (about 430pm). Really? Didn't end up staying there.
