Best Western Casa Grande Inn

I enjoyed my last minute stay at this beautiul Pismo hotel. Was however looking desperately for a hot bath. Plug out of commission. Bummer but okay, shower was nice. I do wish hotels would go back to putting a few bottles of water in the rooms. Inconvenient to have to go looking for it esp when you have a late check-in. Bed and room super comfy!!

The very best Best Western thanks I have experienced! The rooms were outstanding and the bread met every expectation. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This hotel is absolutely beautifully decorated with a western flair! Everywhere you turn there is something cool to look at! It's very close to AJ Spurs Steakhouse right off the freeway...another great western themed place! We really enjoyed the comfortable rooms and free breakfast here. Staff are very polite and attentive.

Excellent hotel!! The property is beautiful with gardens and grass areas around the buildings. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast offers a great selection of hot items and fruits, cereals and breads. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Location, amenities, and atmosphere were important for our stay, and Best Western Arroyo Grande provided all of those needs. Located a few short minutes from the beach, we enjoyed the location, without being directly in the beach noise. Rooms were quiet and clean, and provided an enjoyable stay with our king bed. Amenities were important, and this hotel provided them. We enjoyed a full breakfast, eggs, sausage, bacon, among yummy complex carbs and of course, delicious self-made waffles. We enjoyed the complimentary 24/7 cocoa and coffee in the lobby and the ability to entertain the swimming pool, hot tubs, guest laundry service, and sauna should we have used these services. The Atmosphere was enjoyable as well. The location gave the looks of a Spanish style mission with western and Latine caballero paintings and feel. Hotel guests were warm and family oriented, with many having several children and partaking in outdoor pool activities. Would definitely stay here again, as this was a great value for what we experienced.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was beautiful, very spacious, and exceptionally clean. The building and main lobby were absolutely stunning, with a cozy Spanish-Western style that made the hotel feel warm and inviting. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and pool, and the location was perfect—less than 10 minutes from the beach with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do nearby. This hotel is probably one of the best values for the price, especially considering the beautiful rooms, convenient location, and how safe and welcoming the property felt. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was in a really good easy to get to location right off 101. It was very clean very Spanish. I really like the vibes of the whole place. It's a beautiful hotel. Spacious room, rooms and clean. It has a really good size hot tub and a nice pool and all the staff was really nice. But I'm down that way again. I'll stay in that same hotel.

It's a good little spot. It's the most western BW I've ever seen and I think that is cool. My kids haven't grown up with tias with southwestern decor, and they are really missing out. It's a little time capsule for California for sure. The garden, pool and breakfast room were delightful.

The staff here are great from check in to housekeeping to breakfast. Rooms are clean and cleaned daily. The level of cleanliness was appreciated. We observed staff cleaning the driveway, the walkways, the jacuzzi pool was fizzy early morning from a cleaning treatment. The suite was very roomy. The kids were in a bedroom with a door while we had a king bed and living area with sofa. The complimentary breakfast was greatly appreciated: eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, cereal, toast, muffins, breakfast bars. For being a BW member we received a small gift bag. The lobby brings out cookies in the afternoon - a nice treat for the kids. Honest hard working staff. My son forgot his tablet and they called me to let me know. I was already on the road 2 hours away and counting!! This amazing staff mailed it to me in a timely matter with a shipping label I quickly paid and emailed to them. I had it back in 2 days! I can't thank this team enough. I loved my stay here to enjoy my activities in Pismo. I highly recommend and don't forget to tip housekeeping here. They do DAILY cleaning and you know most places don't anymore. They are thorough professionals.

Arroyo Grande and the Casa Grande Inn were not destinations for us on our road trip. They were simply a place to stop for the night. They will be destinations in the future. We'll go well out of our way to make sure this location can and will be part of the trip. The Casa Grande Inn is hands down the most beautiful BW property I've ever seen or had the opportunity to stay. The rooms are unique to the hotel as well. They are beautiful and beautifully done. They are clean, comfortable and memorable. The price is right too. It's comparable to others in the area, but a much better value given their uniqueness and memorable qualities. The staff too are exceptional. They happily answered our questions about the property and the town, and were willing to engage in conversation, rather than just hustling through a transaction. Overall, we are thrilled to have luckily found this location.

The room was nice but the fridge was a bit small. Someone stole my luggage and im sick right now possibly cause I was in the jacuzzi and pool. Ive had a fever for the last 3 days and the only thing I can think of is one of those two things

Front desk was a young lady with glasses & brown hair she was an absolute delight! Beautiful smile warm welcome! Was very nice to my son who was naming the flags & he has autism! She offered us cookies! The room was great!!!!! Huge! The breakfast room was great!! Bacon eggs waffles juice & more! The swimming pool & the massive jacuzzi phenomenal!!! My kids had so much fun! Met some friendly people! It was just a gem I'm so glad I let my son pick our hotel! We usually stay very close to the beach so this was actually not even that far! Definitely gonna stay again! Beautiful clean place!!!!

Super cute hotel. Best beds EVER! Very spacious and clean. Quiet AC, no auto lights coming on in the bathroom when you enter is appreciated. No spots to park anywhere near our room so as 2 women alone with 2 kids at night, that was a bummer. I think dash passes and 1 car per room rule would remedy that. Can't wait to come back and use the pool, sauna etc when the place isn't as full, accidentally hit a big Car Show weekend and it was full! Great staff, really responsive and attentive.

Our room was clean and quiet as I have come to expect from BW. The front desk clerk wasn't friendly but did greet me and thank me for being a platinum guest.

Rooms have been clean, breakfast is good and a nice pool area. Most of the staff is very nice and helpful. One seems like it's an inconvenience for someone to come into the lobby/office.

Very clean, spacious, and comfortable room. Reasonable pet fee, and accommodations for our dog. Breakfast was good and well-serviced. The only problem we had was with noise— a very large, boisterous group gathered at the breakfast room's outdoor seating area (right outside our room) and partied for hours. I did call reception after 10 pm when it seemed as though they were planning to continue, and it broke up shortly thereafter.

Nice location, spacious rooms, cleanliness, and price with amenities like refrigerator, coffee machine and microwave. Drawback- you can listen people walking and talking, though hotel detail shows there is gym but no gym.

We were in town for my father's memorial service and to visit with extended family. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was good (the great-grandchildren especially liked the small waffles), and we had a good time hanging around the pool together. Thank you!

Excellent stay clean room and comfy bed, staff great too. Only issue was having to have room keys rekeyed daily as the system is old. Appreciated the air conditioning as it was 85 degrees all week which is unusual for the coast.

Staff was unprofessional, cigarette butts all over the ground, loud people up late at night, furnishings are outdated. (1970) TVs were not programmed, internet is slow making it difficult to work. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have had issues here. Tried to give the management the benefit of a doubt and try again. That failed miserably. I will not stay here ever again. Horrible experience.

Room was comfortable ,clean and quiet. We were able to check in early and it was located close to where we were going. The key card failed to work several times and had to be replaced. Staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful. Parking was excellent. Breakfast was good. Recommend a safety grab bar be installed in the shower.

The hotel room was large and clean, lots of room for our dog, treats at the front desk and a nice place for her to sniff around and do her business. Reasonable price and dog fee too. We'll definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

The location is excellent being close to the freeway, and the surrounding area has plenty to do, eat and drink. The hotel parking is good with lots of spaces. The hotel staff is friendly and always with a smile. The amenities are good, especially with a heated pool and seating around. The atmosphere is western themed and done tastefully. The rooms were large/spacious and clean. The cost/value is good, especially with the amenities that are offered. The rooms were quiet and the area was serene for walking and/or thinking.

Adam is the worst he was very much on edge and appeared to be under the influence I had to leave because he couldn't handle a joke

Everything was perfect friendly staff, location was the best, the rooms were excellent very clean and spacious, slept very well no noise at all, Continental Breakfast was perfect every morning. The hotel had the most welcoming atmosphere, the cost was perfect definitely will book again.

Pros: Great location. Very pretty. Great value. Excellent service. Free cookies! Cons: There was a large stain on the carpet, it was a little off putting. Footsteps upstairs were very noisy. The sink counter was very small, hard to share.

This is a very clean, well kept hotel in an Olde California presentation. Large rooms (ours 2 queen beds) with walk in shower, a large closet and a large mirrored sink area, full length mirror in the separate toilet/shower room as well as a bar type sink. Usual amenities, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Good continental breakfast in dedicated room overlooking the pool and fountains. Elevators from parking lot level. Well situated just off Hwy 101, but very quiet.

The king mattress was awesome. I have issues with back pain and I was able to sleep comfortably and wake up pain free. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Breakfast is average. Rooms are a little old and the carpet and furniture need to be replaced.

For the value, it was reasonable, and for the short notice of our stay, all of the staff was really accommodating. However, it wasn't the cleanest hotel I've stayed in.

We stayed at the Best Western Casa Grande for our small staff retreat. Our experience at The Best Western Casa Grande was excellent. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and very helpful for all of our needs. The price was amazing. This hotel offers great value.

Staff were very polite and professional. Rooms were quaint and homey.. Breakfast area was nice and well stocked. Staff was constantly refilling items as needed without being asked. All the juices were available as expected. Landscaping was beautiful. Pool was very nice. Plenty of parking. They even have an elevator.

We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Tuesday in December and were immediately welcomed by a beautifully decorated Christmas lobby. Check‑in was quick and smooth, which we really appreciated after a long day. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The pool area looked lovely, though we didn't get a chance to enjoy it because of the rainy weather. The breakfast area was smaller than expected for such a large hotel, but the food was good, and we still enjoyed our morning meal. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return.

We are Best Western members and came on a trip with another couple. Both rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful. This location has a little key fireplace in the lobby and a little public area for cards, games, etc. The breakfast isn't “5-Star” but certainly gets the job done. A great place!

We spent one night here because we were visiting family in Arroyo grande. We were traveling with our adult son and needed a room that had more comfortable sleeping accommodations then just a sofa bed. We booked a one bedroom suite with a king bed and a queen bed, and I actually think it had a sofa sleeper as well. The room was extremely large and comfortable. The hotel was clean, and when I asked for an extra blanket, it arrived at my door within five minutes. We were very pleased with this stay.

Comfortable room especially suitable for family with kids, and also a big thumb up for the continental breakfast and afternoon cookies!

The Best Western Casa Grande Inn is an outstanding and warm hotel. The staff is fantastic, and the Christmas atmosphere was warm and heartfelt.

Very comfy and cozy . Slept like a baby! The bed was so comfortable and the jacuzzi was to die for. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. And my dogs even felt at home.

We stayed in room #338. The bathroom fan was noisy, the toilet seat needed replacement, the sink had a hairline crack, the refrigerator door rattled and the top sheet for the bed had a rip the size of my hand!

Good news: Nice looking, well maintained property. Room was clean, warm on arrival. The front desk clerk at night (11pm) went above and beyond when I had a problem with my room key. Bad news: The bed side clock and lamp did not work - most likely unplugged, but I wasn't about to move the table. Little things, a corner tile in the bathroom was missing (easy fix) and there was a tear in the carpet.

This a very good hotel. We have stayed multiple times over the years. Front desk, cleanliness, pool and hot tub are all wonderful.

This was a charming hotel. The lobby and front desk area is open and nicely decorated with a south western theme. It puts you back in time. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Whenever we asked for something, they quickly responded and were happy to assist. Our room was quite large and the layout with the sink, counter, fridge, microwave, and work desk served us well. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well during our 8 night stay. It was one of our most pleasant experiences staying at a hotel. We will definitely be staying here again. The internet would get slow at night, that would be the one thing I'd say could use improvement. Faster internet bandwidth to handle the traffic when many guests go online at the same time. Other than that, I give this place a 10.

My parents and I stayed at Best Western on Saturday, November 15, 2025. We booked our reservation through Travelocity. Upon check-in, we were given two keys for Room 326, but one of them did not work. While this in itself was not a major issue, the situation that followed became concerning. When we entered the room, we were unsure if it had been properly serviced or possibly still occupied. There was a newspaper with a cup of water on the table, the chair was pulled out as if someone had been sitting there, and trash was left in the trash can. When my mother called the front desk to report this, she was told that she could remove the trash herself, but that no one from staff would be sent to address it. After paying over $150 for a one-night stay, this response was unacceptable. At every other hotel—and even motels—we have stayed at, we have always been told to contact the front desk if we needed anything, and that staff would take care of it. Unfortunately, the customer service provided by both front desk employees (a male with long hair and a female employee) was extremely unprofessional, which has prompted me to contact corporate regarding this experience. Returning to the room key issue: when my father went to the front desk to have the key reactivated, he mentioned the rude response my mother received regarding the trash. The male employee told my father that it was not a big deal and implied that my mother was overreacting. To us, finding trash in the room raises serious concerns about whether the room was properly cleaned at all—whether the sheets, bedding, and towels were fresh and sanitized. At the price we paid, guests should be able to expect both a clean room and courteous, professional service as a basic standard. The exchange between staff and my father about these concerns only escalated the situation due to their dismissive attitude. Based on this experience, we will not be staying at this location in the future. We email the General Manger, Rita Guman and left a voice-mail at the corporate office, both have gone unanswered. It's ashame, because the hotel looks really nice. But if the staff is rude and dont care about the appearance and presentation of their rooms, we dont care to ever return here or ANY Best Western for that matter.

We stayed in a suit over looking the pool, the parking is in back with stairs near an elevator. The linen and garbage are displayed openly in front of the parking with an iron gate you can see all of the washing of linens etc. very unsightly!! Also close to freeway, lots of kids, noisy. Can hear through the floors and walls. Lobby looks impressive with Spanish style decorations. However the. Carpets everywhere are disgusting!! They need to be replaced or cleaned extensively. Also lots of truckers and companies use the motel. We won't be staying there again.

If you are attending a play in Oceano, which I highly recommend, you need to stay here. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, the pool is heated to the perfect temperature, the room was clean and comfortable, and mostly, it's a straight shot to the American Melodrama Theater. Also one stop up is downtown Arroyo Grande. Plenty of shops and very nice people and staff at the restaurants we visited.

Super cute hotel. Great pool and hot tub. Centrally located. Breakfast was yummy. Only complaint is the conditioner in the shower was completely empty and I didn't notice until I was in the shower. Other than that, was a very enjoyable stay.

For the price, good value for Pismo Beach area. Good location, good breakfast, good coffee unlike some other Best Westerns. Property is a little aged and parking spaces are a bit tight.

Check in was easy, welcoming lobby, comfy beds and clean room. Breakfast was good, but busy and breakfast room was stuffy. I brought a tray from our room and brought breakfast to my room to consume. A tad expensive imho, but it was also the Pismo Clam Festival weekend…

The lobby is stunning...and we loved the coffee & cookies daily from 4-6:pm. A nice treat. The pool and spa were enjoyable too.

Always clean and the staff is super nice. We bring our 2 little dogs and they are safe and they have a great area in the back with grass and doggy poo bags - very dog friendly. We always stay here.

Room was clean, staff was extra helpful. Breakfast was hot and plenty of it. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi every night. Location was central to all the great surrounding areas for relaxing at the beach, shopping and eating. Gave 4 instead 5 stars as rooms don't have sheer curtains so you can open the drapes to enjoy the sunlight without having people see directly in the room; linens and all were fresh and room was clean however carpet was old and walls could use some paint Refresh. We would stay here again.

We have stayed in the Pismo/SLO area many times. This time we chose to stay in Arroyo Grande and were pleasantly surprised. The location, right off the freeway, but far away enough that there was no noise, was very convenient. The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed - fridge, microwave, coffeepot, hair dryer, and comfortable shower. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, bacon, bread choices, 4 types of juice, fruit, and coffee/tea. The choices were more than we expected. All of this for $120 per night, midweek! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this location.

Well located, quiet facility with beautiful views and lovely rose garden. Staff is friendly and helpful. While the rooms might be a bit dated, it takes you back in time when things were slower and people enjoyed unplugging. My suite was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Had to change room due a awkward room layout with the tv on an angle so you couldn't see the tv from the bed. Got a twin room instead of a oversized king as booked. Second room was dirty, no pillowcases and fridge was broken and had to be replaced. Front desk was not friendly and seemed to be too busy to help. Loud guests upstairs. Won't ever stay again.

Cassa Grande is what makes BEST in Best Western. Fantastic atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Loved the pool and over sized hot tub. Great experience.

The room is very spacious. Our bed was comfortable. I also liked the private patio. Location to breakfast is very close. My husband had to adjust going in and out of the roll-in shower because the lip of the shower is quite high. Also, the bench in the shower is very low. So, he had to enter with his scooter into the actual shower and slowly sit on the bench very carefully so he would not fall. I did remove the scooter so he could shower. Then he did the reverse to exit. We took our grandson with us to celebrate his birthday so the living room with the sofa bed was perfect. He also commented on the room that it was "very nice". On Saturday, the breakfast room was very crowded but I got there too late. We opted to not eat there. Friday morning was much better. We'd definitely would stay there again, same room (406), if possible .

Traveling alone with mobility issues, I had some concern about my stay. But everyone was extremely helpful. Even loaned me a cane to go to breakfast. Thanks to all!

BEAUTIFUL STAY! Husband & I are seniors....stayed 3 nights-4 days We requested a room on ground floor, check~in staff was VERY accommodating, friendly and efficient. The garden walk was supremely lovely. Coffee and cookies by the fireplace, sooo relaxing and memorable. Perfect location for day trips to Solvang, Morro Bay and Pismo Beach! Rooms VERY clean, quiet and comfortable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The beds are very comfortable. Very nice to have refrigerator and microwave in room. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful grounds. I travel out of my way to stay at this motel.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Casa Grande Inn for two nights. We had a pleasant stay and found the hotel charming. Our room was a good size, clean and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast had a good selection and was filling. The staff was kind, courteous and very helpful. I would give it a five if not for the worn out stair carpet located at the lobby and that the room key cards did not work on the second day of our stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend this clean charming hotel with its unique decor and genuine helpful staff.

The people were friendly. The room was very clean. The facility was very nice. The room refrigerator was noise, other than that all good.

Staff was respectful and helpful, the rooms were nice. My family had a great time and the price was perfect. We enjoyed the room, pool and hot tub. Continental breakfast was good too

The hotel is in a great location. The staff was wonderful, especially Lulu at the front desk. After a full travel day with our two granddaughters, she gave us a nice upgrade so we had a suite and the girls got to sleep in due to being in their own space. The pool, breakfast and grounds were very clean and nice. We didn't 2 nights here and enjoyed the stay very much.

Enjoyed the ambiance of an older well kept hotel. Our room was spacious and well decorated. The pool and spa were great. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. We will use again when in the area. My great granddaughter really enjoyed the garden walk.

Affordable hotel 2 miles from the beach . Clean and safe but could use some updating. The carpet was old and the furniture was a collection of odd pieces of furniture. The breakfast room was alittle crowded and hard to navigate due to the oversized tables in the middle of the room

My family always enjoys this wonderful pet friendly hotel. The only small minor thing that is consistently bad is the bacon they provide at breakfast. Totally undercooked and very VERY greasy. The bacon is so paper see through thin. What a waste of $$. Toaster in the 2nd floor upper room was inoperable. I advise the lady standing by however she did not understand English and I don't speak Spanish. She kept it plugged in even after I told her it wasn't working while the motor kept running it was not toasting the bread.

The room was very clean and roomy. Took our pet for the 1st time and he enjoyed as well. Love all the plants and the continental breakfast was good as well. Love the salsa with the eggs. We will be back here again. Also close to stores and food right at the off ramp.

The decor is elegant western motif beautifully done. The room was comfortable room with a nice mattress. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly robust. The staff friendly and attentive. Did not get to use a pool area but it looked very well maintained and inviting.

Well maintained rooms, everything was clean. Pool, sauna, rooms, lobby, etc Really enjoyed the Garden walk and sauna especially. Staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Maid service was prompt and professional. Continental breakfast was ready promptly and there was plenty available. Only complaint i might have is lack of a verity of sodas in the venting machines. Small issue, really, unless of course you happen to have a spouse that is addict to diet pepsi.

Location, good and pleasant staff, good food service breakfast & coffee. The TV was challenging to figure out. Internet was helpful. Repeat customer and will return to visit family again. It would be super if the hotel had food coupons to visit local restaurants!

My room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast. It was tasty and met my needs.There was a good selection of foods, egg, bacon, waffles, oranges and various breads amd yogurt. The coffee was good as well. The room could use some paint and new wallpaper, but it certainly met my needs and was a comfortable stay.

We had a great room the only thing I would say is the fan in the bathroom needs to be replaced. It is noisy and is going to fail soon. The Jacuzzi is the best I have ever been in and the pool is always heated to the right temp. Our room was vert quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the service at check in was great.

Bed was comfy and larger tv had many channels to choose from but house keeping knocked on our door around 9:30ish when check out isn't until 11am so that was kinda annoying as they have done this to us multiple times before. The pillows were comfy but not normal sized ones, kinda like half the size so we needed more to make up for how small they were. Other than that everything was great!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, easy drive to the beach, and this hotel is so much more than a basic Best Western. Pool, hot tub and sauna were great, beds comfortable and the rooms had a great layout for 4 girls to share. We would stay again!

The staff is great and very helpfu and friendlyl. I love the decor as well, it fits the theme of this Best Western well. The room was clean and the service during our stay was excellent. Whenever we asked for something, such as towels, it was provided promptly.

Rooms are large and clean. beds are comfortable. Carpet needs replacing, walls are thin …could hear neighbor snoring and their tv. Wall outlets are to find, no USB ports. We were in the main building upstairs, no elevator. We could hear every door open and close upstairs and downstairs. Breakfast was decent, tiny dining area. Don't spend a lot of money for a room here.

Cute hotel with a Spanish-style flare. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfy. We liked that the bathroom sink has a nice counter space and is separate from the bathroom. The kids loved the "garden walk", the pool, and the nearby bridge connecting easy access to Grocery Outlet and other shops. The breakfast is quite good. The breakfast room is cute as it sits next to the pool with nice windows. A bit small, so we ate a little later to avoid the breakfast rush. Room had a fridge and small microwave. I prefer a brightly lit room with plenty of natural light. Note that the rooms here are a little dark, and since we were on the 1st floor, leaving the blinds open was not an option. The staff was very nice, and it's a safe and convenient area.

beautiful well maintained facility. right off the 101 but far away enough to be quit. comfortable mattress and pillows good water pressure lots of space in the king non smoking pet rm. quick check in, option to check in 3 hrs early for 25 dollars. walking distance to Starbucks Walmart and various restaurants by walking distance i mean 5-10 min via a 75 or so ft bridge. Breakfast is Harty waffles scrambled eggs and bacon for hot food a variety of cereals ,oat meal, fruit, and danishes to choose from as well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate. value is un matched especially during holiday weekends

Love this place! The look and design are a real treat! Classic Spanish design is very charming. Pool is great. Rooms are spacious. Thoroughly enjoyed our family stay. Staff was friendly, the grounds are clean, breakfast was good enough, location is easy on/off the highway.

The two room suite was nice...however, I thought the suite was going to be the 2 story suite. Would have stayed longer if it was. Need to let people know upfront. Or maybe it was my bad for not asking what "suite" it actually was. The suite on your website shows the 2 story, not the one we stayed in. So I assumed it was the 2 story. Grounds are very clean and close to everything we love to do. We will for sure be coming back...and booking the 2 story suite.

Well maintained clean room, pretty good breakfast - great for the price. Only minutes from Prismo beach. Had some initial complications with room lock - it is a bit glitch and you need several attempts to unlock it but other than that experience was great. Will definitely stay here again.

A very comfortable suite with a separate bedroom. The breakfast room, however, was a joke—jammed with people, trash overflowing on to the floor and kind of a rude (stressed out) employee. Could have used a couple more employees to help-but in general, the room is too small. Ended up going out.

Good place to stay. The furnishings are out dated. Wifi connection could be better. Remove the carpet and put in hardwood. Carpet is a germ factory. If you don't want housekeeping you have to call. Put a door hanger to let housekeeping know you don't want service.

Rooms are always clean. Convenient to freeway and shopping and fast food. Free breakfast is a plus. Good waffles. Pool and a generous size Hot tub. Good rates Pismo is only about 15 minutes away. In and Out, Panera is close by. Also Walmart if you need anything

Beautiful lobby, grounds (but no lawn/grass, plants/trees in small beds). Hotel had a tiny beautiful park-like area with piped stream, fountains, benches. Also a bridge over a creek led directly to the nearby lot with a Grocery Outlet (and a True Value Hardware store, Planet Fitness, etc). Breakfast kinda cheap (much lower quality compared to similar hotels we stayed in during the trip), but did the job - milk in a canister, meat, powdered scrambled eggs and many carby bakery items. Breakfast staff not knowledgeable or maybe not good at English - couldn't answer any questions about ingredients/allergens, but she knew which items were gluten-free. Great coffee.

The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are very spacious. We loved having THREE sinks! The staff was very kind. The beds were comfortable. The lobby is beautiful. We enjoyed having so much counter space and also a table and chairs in the room. The rooms could use an upgrade. I had to unplug the alarm clock to charge my phone near the bed. A bedside lamp with USB ports would be a great addition. The heating units were all leaking fluid into the hallway. The balcony railing outside our room was missing a screw. The elevator certification expired mid-2023. The breakfast room was very overwhelmed, but the selection was good. Due to the price and the location, I would stay here again, although I do hope to see some updates made soon.

Room was super clean and maintained very well. The staff were all friendly and the property maintained nicely. I don't have a lot to say because the place was A+. I would definitely stay here again! Pool is pleasant and breakfast was fine. I don't usually partake in hotel breakfast .

This was the best Best Western we have stayed at so far. Bed was mors comfortable then any. Only complaint is the breakfast was not up to par. Best breakfast at a Best Western is in Kingman Az. The hotel lobby was fantastic. We will return at some point.

Our room was spacious and comfortable with a huge king-sized bed. All the amenities were in excellent working order, including the WiFi. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge amount of items on it. The front-desk staff was courteous and efficient.

Bed is very comfortable/rooms are spacious/ wish the bed had more blankets we had to crank up the heat which is very dry/ breakfast variety was ok but not a lot of hotels offer it/ lobby had couches and chairs by the lit fire place which was nice/ lobby has complimentary coffee, water, both hot and cold/ parking fills up quickly in the evening/ location is very central to all of SLO county.

Nice room and overall good weekend. I would have liked a grab bar on the wall along the long side of the tub. The lady who handled the breakfast room was very efficient. The breakfast room was very crowded. The desk help knew the area highlights and gave very good directions. Loved the Melodrama in Oceano. My companion would have preferred one softer pillow, but didn't ask if she could get one. Her loss. Didn't like the early check in charge when we were told room was available but we couldln't get in without paying extra fee. We went out to lunch instead.

The front desk staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend getting so sort of device for charging devices via installed in the rooms but otherwise everything was perfect. I would recommend the Casa Grande highly!

Nicely tucked away - it's away from the street so it's not noisy. They had a decent breakfast with the standard motel breakfast food. You know; waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruits, cereals, toast, spreads, coffee, juice, et.al. The channel selection on the TV was mediocre. The bed was comfy. I stayed during the week so it wasn't too terribly expensive.

The atmosphere at the Casa Grande Inn was that of a boutique hotel, and the first I'd seen in a national chain, at least at this price point. Huge room with a separate room attached, decent views on all sides. Everything was clean and antique/old Mission-style, we really liked the multi-level pathway going through the middle of the parking lot, it had fountains and plants with benches. The pool was also nice with a huge hot tub. The location was fantastic and the mediterranean food across the street was so good we went back the next day for more!! Unfortunately the hotel's breakfast area was filled with people and overly warm so we checked out and went to a local cafe. Would definitely stay there again!!

Entire facility was clean and well kept. Rooms were nice, good interior design, wall decorations and appointments. Good breakfast, a bit of a cramped space. Initial room's thermostat not working so front desk moved us 2 or 3 doors down with no issues. Second room did not have a writing desk but we only stayed one night.

Had a great stay at the Casa Grande Inn. I really love the way the main building/room was decorated. I hope to be back to the Central Coast of Ca in the near future and would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else. Beautiful area.

Adam was very accommodating during the check in. I had two rooms with connecting reservations the following day and he was able to take care of everything necessary during the initial check in and I never had to worry about going back to the desk! My room was extremely clean and comfortable. I actually enjoyed the hotel so much, that I cancelled my previously booked room in Morro Bay for my next trip and re-booked at the Casa Grande again! I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Six of us stayed in rooms 234, 235 & 236. Quiet rooms, small fridge and microwave. HUGE rooms with 2 queen beds(very comfortable) front desk gave us 3 welcome bags with water and snacks. Fresh baked cookies were in the lobby which was decorated in old world ranch style motif- very cool. Took you back in time. Breakfast is included with meat/protein choices as well as the usual carb loaded options. We drove 2 minutes to AJ Spurs for dinner- very convenient!

I was disappointed with the location of the rooms. I made reservations for ground level and two rooms close together. I was traveling with my 96 year old mother,and she can have problems. They put us on the 2nd and 3rd floors. When my mom needed something we would have to get the elevator to go help her. The rooms were good,just not what I asked for.

Best mattress ever in a hotel ever! Had a problem with the tv at 9:00 p.m. Someone came to our door and had it resolved it less than 5 minutes! Had 24 hour front desk and coffee available. Absolutely will stay again when in the area. Beautiful Spanish design in lobby.

Lovely property, but signs in rooms indicated there was a theft problem which we"ve not seen in other best western hotel rooms. Check in person not very friendly, but check out gal was very friendly and understood my concerns over theft signs. Overall the hotel itself is fine.

There are lots of nice things to say about this hotel. It's certainly a bang for your buck in this area. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Staff is courteous and helpful. This was our third stay in a handicap assessable room... our third stay in THIS room. We'd hoped to find that we could experience another assessable room on this stay but that wasn't possible. The shower is a small step, so not a roll-in, has a large removeable shower chair and is large enough with good placement of handrails. The breakfast room is just a short distance away. Only drawback is that the room is dark. Has a lot of lights. But it's dark. We will, however, return. And the pool area, in September, was delightful.

Up grate to a suite, super nice., brakefast was good with fresh waffles. The room was always clean with extra towels, my family was impressed. The best experience for dropping off my daughter at college, high recommended. Front desk were realy nice and looks like they realy care about the conversation we had.

The architecture was charming. Accessibility couldn't have been better. The room was immaculate. The staff was kind and helpful. Add perfect weather to our weekend, and we had a near perfect weekend. Highly recommend Casa Grande to anyone interested in visiting the Pismo Beach area.

Clean rooms with comfy beds a lots of space for my family. Loved that it came with a fridge an microwave. The shower was pretty nice too didn't feel all squeezed in it . The breakfast was delicious an had plenty of options for my family to choose from. Didn't get to use the pool but it will definitely be a must when we come back

Pretty good value. No problem finding parking. We were glad they had an elevator. Room was clean, no issues. Rooms were outdated and as others mentioned no usb (but hey who doesn't bring a wall plug or portable battery when traveling). Pool looked clean, but we didn't get to use it. The best part is *Free Breakfast!*, if you consider inflation during this troublesome economy, you'd be looking at easily +$10 per person for breakfast. This is a huge savings. The selection was great, and they had bacon!

Beds are very comfy, slept soundly, room clean and linens fresh and soft; towels thick, new, soft-everything in room was just right. HOWEVER...I left my phone on the table. When I called couple hours later it had not been turned in to the office. NOT only am I 100% sure I left it there, my Find My Device mapped last location as the hotel. When I went to screenshot the map, it then said Unable to Communicate with Device. I just hope which ever housekeeper STOLE it gets caught with another phone. It's not their first time. Plus not sure I'll warm up to Debit/Credit only vending machines, they are now No Cash purchase.

Nice place, good location and lots of amenities. Very well kept property. Rooms are large and clean. Pool is very popular! The main breakfast room gets very crowded and hot inside but there is plenty of food and coffee. Located near freeway but no traffic noise. Close to everything.

This hotel is exactly what you can expect from a Best Western: a clean room, a quiet location, and well placed for anyone staying in south San Luis Obispo County. SLO is nearby, the beaches are nearby, and north County isn't too far away. The free breakfast is tasty and well-stocked. While I went solo, it was nice to hear kids enjoying the pool. I'll definitely be recommending it to my brother and sister if they ever take their kids to the area.

Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable plus very reasonably priced online. I would have given 5 stars however a ridiculous I didn't happened at check in. My husband arrived like 14 minutes before the check in time of 3:00. He was told for an additional $50 he could check in early. Obviously there was a room ready and it's not like he was even an hour early. My other complaints would be very little lighting and no easily accessible outlets to use to charge phones at night near the bed.

The room was perfect for my friend and myself. The beds and couch were very comfortable, and there was a second bedroom so that we each had some privacy, which I really appreciated. The friend of mine who shared the room has some mobility issues, so the hotel staff made sure we were very close to an elevator. This made it so much easier for her to come and go while we were there. All of the staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful. We appreciated the fact that there were many options for breakfast. The location was perfect. Easy to get to, close to the places we wanted to visit for sight seeing or shopping. I would definitely come stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, our room was clean and very specious the view was great, we loved the hacienda look of the hotel. The pool is heated and the sauna room is amazing. We felt safe at this hotel and will definitely be back with the family!

This hotel was exactly what we needed. It was a short drive on the freeway to Pismo. It was peaceful. The lobby is really nice and they offer cookies at night. The breakfast was included and great. It had eggs, bagels, cereal, a waffle making station, yogurt, toast, coffee, milk etc. The pool and hot tub area was nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

The stay was completely comfortable and we even got little gift bags!!! My kids loved the cookies!!! The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly and professional. And the breakfast is delicious!!! We love staying at Best Western Casa Grande every time we are in that area!

Pool and hot tub was great! Breakfast had a wonderful selection including waffles! Would recommend, and stay at this location again. Was clean and convenient. Minutes from downtown and also very close to dunes. Pet friendly too. Plenty parking.

We have been staying at Casa Grande for a long time and we really love this hotel! And we recommend it to our family & friends! ❤️❤️ we plan to come back before the summer is over! The weather was wonderful because it was & us in the Triple Digits here in the Valley!

Nice clean room and I was able to connect my Roku stick to the TV so I could watch my programs. My upstairs neighbors were a little noisy, and there was a unexpected power outage. Nonetheless, it was a quiet and restful room and I would strongly consider staying there again. The young lady that was running the desk was very pleasant, polite and helpful. Don't lose her! She is a great front for your property!

This BW is very beautiful, with its Spanish style architecture and murals and blooming bougainvillea. But it was very noisy! We had the misfortune of booking our stay at the same time as a large group of teenagers who were partying and yelling (literally screaming, not just talking loud) in the pool area and parking lot, running up and down the breezeways in front of rooms and up and down the stairs playing tag until well after 10:00 pm. When I called the front desk, I was told there wasn't really anything they could do. When I am a BW rewards member and also paying $300 for a room, I honestly expected better customer service. The person who took my call was very kind and tried to be sympathetic; I don't fault him at all. I do, however, wish the hotel had policies and systems in place to deal with these situations when they arise. I also did not appreciate having to pay extra to check in early when we were only about 30 minutes early and we were attending a memorial service that started at check in time and had to change before we went. We normally always stay at BWs, and I was so excited to stay at this property. Of all the hotels we stayed at on this trip, this was the most disappointing and the one we felt the least valued at.

A rather big room, suitable for a family of four adults. Hotel may be somewhat dated, but it's okay, still relatively clean. Location is near shopping, within walking distance, where you can get cooked food as well as groceries. Check in and check out are a breeze.

All around good experience. Clean, comfortable, good service, nice pool/spa facilities. Unique & interesting architecture. Lobby/Boardroom and upstairs game room all have interesting period/theme decorations. Interesting place to spend a few minutes and explore

Right off the bat, the front desk crew was wonderful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, great shower. We enjoyed the ample breakfast in a sunny room. Free parking was a bonus. We didn't have time to try out the pool or hot tub but they were available. We will return for a longer stay - that's how pleasant it was.

What a great stay! From a minute I arrived I knew this is going to be a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The parking situation was great. Loved the balcony overlooking the pool. Weather was great and staff was kind. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this hotel! We come here at least twice a year! Beautiful setting and close to great restaurants and only a few minutes from the beach! For a free breakfast it is good! The rooms are clean and kept up nice! The pool is warm when it's cool out and the hot tub is nice and hot!

We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the pool which was good. The room was dated, but clean and met all our needs. We had a good sleep and the breakfast was good with lots of verity.

I love the check in office. Very western! I loved that! Breakfast was great, it's just so tiny in there and gets super packed. Good customer service. And I would have gave it a 5 star, but our shower didn't work, when you turn it on it barely release any water, and water did not get hot. Then our TV in a he suites room was not working. But I am hoping next time it will be a better experience! Because I paid wayyy too much for a Suite just for the shower not to work and one of the TVs.

Everything was fine except the $25.00 fee charged to get in the room a couple hours early. You would think that would be a perk for BW Platinum members. Makes you feel like you got screwed and your patronage and loyalty are not appreciated. It's a way to inspire customer satisfaction that costs them absolutely nothing but they choose to screw you instead.

Pros: 5 min drive to the beach, beautiful architecture, clean and spacious rooms, slept like a swaddled baby, overall a great stay. Cons: TV was broken, but they addressed the issue quickly. There are only two plugs (one outlet) next to the beds that we could find. The lamp occupied one plug, and, with limited overhead lighting, you need the lamp light. The alarm clock ended up being unplugged, so we could plug our phones in. Thankfully, I had brought a dual charger box, so we could charge both phones with one box. Overall, though, we enjoyed the area, stay, staff and amenities. The Cons are just very small complaints.

Casa Grande is a lovely destination. The continental breakfast was tasty and ample. Excellent coffee. (The young lady who was staffing the downstairs venue was very courteous and friendly.) My only complaint was that I had a ground floor room and one or more individuals entered the room above me around 10:15 and stomped around the room for about two hours. The insulation was totally inadequate, so as a result I was unable to get to sleep. Next time I'll request an upper room.

Best rooms and pool! We always enjoy staying at Best Western. This was our first time at this location and we really enjoyed it.. The breakfast was amazing!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We even got the room last minute and the clerk helped us secure it with no money.

Nice hotel I dont think i would change anything really the pool ,jacuzzi and breakfast where great me and my family enjoyed our stay every time we come here this was my 3rd time here and i can say that will be back again soon and appreciate the kind office staff aswell

We enjoyed sitting by the cozy fire in the beautiful cowboy-themed lobby after a day of sightseeing in SLOCAL. The hotel is tucked away yet convenient to everything. It's cozy and quiet. The grounds are small but beautiful with lush landscaping. A nice retreat.

This location, as with many best westerns throughout the country are on the older side. The bed was quite comfortable. The shower was good. The mini-fridge had no freezer compartment so I couldn't freeze my cold packs. The decor was a bit dated, dark inside. The coffee was great, only ate breakfast on one of our 3 days stay. It was so hot inside the breakfast room we couldn't stay to eat inside. Tried the scrambled eggs but first bite left a sour taste so didn't eat more. Made me not want to try anything like the bacon or sausage. Ended up with a bagel/cream cheese & toast for my husband. The staff the night of our arrival were helpful with our room keys that stopped working a few times. The following days found different people behind the desk who were delightful and most helpful. Since we don't travel much, the cost of the room was startling, appreciated that I had points for Saturday night which helped. Parking was adequate, good sized spaces, but far away & uphill from your room if you came in later.

The beds were comfortable. It had HBO & Showtime channels so we could watch TV without commercials. The continental breakfast was good. It included cereals, breads, packaged pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles, sausage, bacon, and scrambled eggs. There were 3 types of juice, 2% milk, and coffee. There were various toppings for the waffles, yogurt, and cereals. This hotel is easy to get to from the highway. The property is on a low hill and it is beautifully landscaped. It has a pool, spa, and exercise room. There is only one elevator. We used the stairs on our side of the property.

Nice and clean rooms. The gal at the front desk was awesome and the two fellas helping out were great too! Pool and spa was perfect for the kids and we all enjoyed their breakfast. Will be coming back to stay for his summer for sure! Keep it up Thanks again! The Monroe Family

I was very happy with my one-night stay here - room was clean and bed was comfortable; overall this hotel is a great value. Two things to note: 1) there was a line for check-in, but the front desk associate (whose name I did not catch) was friendly and efficient (and apologized for the wait), and 2) I thought I left something behind, and when I called a few days later, Rita was extremely helpful in trying to locate it, although I found it later in my trunk. I would stay here again!

All things are so good~ The room, two breakfast rooms, and quiet surroundings are nice and friendly. And it's nice that there are a lot of female grandparents around. In particular, Pismo Beach is excellent, the nearby hot springs are good, and there are many different things to eat, which is especially good.

Room and bed were very comfortable. But parking was horrible. Workmen with huge trucks parked close the the rooms rather than on the perimeter or back parking. It made it horrible for guests to get in and out of spaces near our rooms. BW should help guests by ensuring large vehicles don't create problems for other guests.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. All the amenities were in excellent working order. The breakfast buffet was vast and delicious and there was a huge variety of items on it. The service was efficient and courteous. It was, all in all, an excellent value for our money.

I stay at this hotel every time that I come to the Central Coast, for business or leisure. The accommodations are excellent, the staff are wonderful, and the continental breakfast is really a full breakfast buffet with a great selection of hot and cold entrees. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel great price and location. Hot tub was nice and relaxing after a day running around on the beach to relax. Breakfast was good. Wish there was some sausage with the bacon though will stay there again my next trip to the coast. Thanks for a great stay

Receptionist lady in the morning of 3/23 and 3/24 was very rude. Also the hot tub jets were not working and were not fixed. Other than that the rooms were excellent. And the cleaning ladies were also very polite. Helped to get clean towels in our rooms.

A spacious hotel with unusual character. Loved the atmosphere. The staff were so kind to my family traveling with young kids and gave us a free room upgrade. The breakfast was more substantial than expected, too. But no gluten-free option and the eggs and bacon were pretty low quality. Overall, this would be a great place for a family to vacation and we loved our stay.

We are returning customers who used to live in the Pismo Beach area. We love the Spanish ambiance and gorgeous lobby, cookies and coffee in afternoons, and breakfast. The rooms were updated awhile ago so beginning to show their age, no USB ports on lamps to charge phones etc. but all the necessities like fridge, micro, flat screen TV. The evening and day check in staff were friendly and efficient. We extended our days twice so stayed a week comfortably. Great location to Hwy 101 but quiet, easy walking to several restaurants and shops, very short drive to Walmart and movie theater and just minutes to Pismo & Shell Beach without the higher hotel prices. We've stayed here multiple times in past 10 years and continue to return as we find most BW hotels to be reliable in all important ways - and the Casa Grande is one of our favorites.

Love the breakfast, hot tub, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are nice and clean and bigger than most places i know of. I like the atmosphere and look of the hotel too. Not much negative to say. Even the parking lot is safe to leave stuff. Never had anything stolen and had police talk to me (make sure I m not stealing my stuff) a couple times. So that's good and bad, mostly good tho.

Great price for suites, one exit away from pismo beach. Free breakfast. Nice heated pool. Nice nig jacuzzi. Very nice staff. Lots of food places close by. It feels like home. Been coming here for the past 20 years. Simple check in and out. Lots of extra parking in back.

During check-in, I was informed there was an additional $100.00 fee, which would be refunded. When I questioned it, I was informed the information was on the Best Western website as well as the Best Western Casa Grande Inn website. When I stated it was not, I was then told I was informed of this charge during check in. My final bill shows a balance of $0, while my charge card statement shows the full charge of $228.07-no refund. Upon contacting the hotel and Best Western this morning, I was told Best Western hotels are individually owned & operated, so the chain has no record of how each hotel operates. The hotel informed me I was not charged but I would receive a refund in approximately 30 days. This is bordering on illegal practices & I will no longer stay @ Best Western Hotels.

beautiful property, excellent location, welcoming staff, good breakfast, fabulous room! the shower was excellent - really appreciated that the shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash already available which is great (i didn't have to pack it myself). since i'm a best western rewards member so i received a goodie bag right at check in ( i felt so special). highly recommended!

Gorgeous grounds with murals and waterfalls plus having a large room made this a great stay. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. Shower was amazing. Very nice rooms (the 2 queen had a double vanity and a mini bar sink) and I would definitely stay again.

Such a great experience. Booked last minute online with no issues. Beautiful and clean hotel. Restroom could use an update/upgrade but otherwise it was 5 stars. Breakfast was a plus too and the beds were so comfy!! I would definitely go back.

The room we had was once nice, 2 counters with sink, lots of cabinets, thick but worn carpet. But the bathroom was tiny and the fan that cameon with the light hung down and was super noisy. The room was dark due to the decorative overhang. Beds good. I had considered staying 2 nights because of our schedule, but decided to do it somewhere else. Big problem $100 deposit to make sure I didn't steal the ironing board…….

My company makes my reservations. I came in a day early. Parked behind the property waiting for approvals. Was cofronted by a unknown guy. No name tag. Logo shirt etc ..banged on my car , yelling get the "f" out of here. Tried to tell him what was happing. He continued to be verbally abusive. So I departed. Completely shaken from my ptsd...I checked in the next day, the verbally abusive person was DILLION...Spent 2 sleepless nights fearing DILLON,would return to bang on my door and continued verbal abuse. When I mentioned the issue to the front desk. Got a "oh, I'm sorry you experienced an issue" was told the Manager Rita would get back. But never did. If you love snooty. Elitist staff great....it's for you! Lastly. the front desk clerk dismissed Dillions behavior as that "he's new" .

We had problems with loud neighbors late at night but the staff was very accommodating and moved out room after trying to quiet the group at about 12:00 am. The next morning I found out the management refunded my money for the night. The rest of the staff was great.

A very satisfying experience. The staff was first-rate and extremely helpful. Moreover, the room was comfy and clean. Also, all the amenities needed to ensure a pleasant stay were available. And the price was certainly right. So glad we decided to stay there.

It was an older property but I could see the beauty from years past. The rooms were clean and I loved the lobby! It looked beautiful for Christmas. We were towing a trailer and there was a back parking lot with plenty of room to turn around and park for the night.

This is our second time staying here. This time we noticed it was a pet-friendly hotel, so we brought our dog with us. This time we stayed two nights and we loved there was a miniature dog walk. It was wonderful and dog-friendly.

We like the pool temperature and the hot tub. My husband likes that the breakfast selection is more than just continental. We stop over here every year. With fridge and microwave and low midweek prices, it is a super convenient and comfortable layover for our trips up and down 101. Pets allowed in some rooms.

This was our 5th time we stayed at this place. We really like it and will stay again if we ever get back here. Beautiful landscape and a great breakfast! Everyone is friendly and professional. We are now living in Tennessee!

The hotel was in a good location however our room had plumbing issues, which is normal for an older hotel understandable. The tech came in and could not fix it, then the bathtub filled up with black water, that was a new one. It was disgusting, called the front desk and asked for a different room so we could shower and leave, they moved us to a large suite which was nice.... Or so we thought, we woke up with bug bites all over our face, I was so shocked! Right on my eye and cheekbone area, I was terrified when I looked in the mirror. Went downstairs to let them know and check out, didn't want to be in that room any longer than I needed. The response was, ok we will deep clean. They didn't seem to care at all. The bites are so bad my eye has swollen shut, doctors apt tomorrow make sure it isn't anything serious. I have never had an experience like this at a hotel room and we do travel frequently especially to this area since our daughter attends CalPoly. Beware before booking, I am currently writing this with one eye shut!!

This was a free room for points stay. We were upgraded to a king/queen suite, which was unexpected and very welcome. The room was huge, with one bed in a separate room. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. A/C worked well. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was a little weak, but it's always that way in the area. The last time I stayed here was 30 years ago and there has obviously been a lot of updating done during that time. But this is still an older property and expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Breakfast was nothing special, but met our needs. I would stay again and I would even pay for the larger room.

Great hotel. It's a little on the older side but has a ton of charm and is well maintained. It can be a lively place if you are in a room near the pool, but it isn't overly rowdy and people respected quiet hours every night we were there. Loved our room. The overall style/theme of the hotel is really cool. With an old spanish style feel to it. Included breakfast is a nice touch. The setup they have is cozy and comfortable. With the breakfast room right above the pool area. One thing we noticed was that the water had an odd taste and smell to it. Like a slight algae taste. Nothing too worrisome. More than fine for showering and brushing your teeth, but we drank filtered water just in case. Onsite laundry is coin operated and one of their machines is broken. Getting change for the machine was a little tricky but being able to do laundry onsite is nice. WIFI is decent. Good enough to watch Netflix in the evening. Front desk staff was okay depending on who we interacted with. Asking to exchange money for quarters to do laundry with one person felt like pulling teeth, but then another front desk person was incredibly helpful. Location is great. Walking distance from Starbucks and a grocery store via a little trail, which is super convenient. And located right next to a freeway entrance so you have quick access to downtown Pismo and beaches. If you're in Pismo, I would recommend staying here.

The Casa Grande Inn is among the coolest Best Western hotels I stayed at. The bed was comfortable, the pool area was good as well as the breakfast. Unfortunately, the staff didn't tell us about the second, bigger breakfast room in the main building. But we had a good breakfast with a view of the pool. The hotel and the room was clean.

The pool was really nice and warm enough. The staff was gracious and eager to be helpful. Breakfast was also good. The building/room appeared to be quite old but well maintained. Overall we would come back again.

Beautiful and private hotel with Western theme. Huge room that was very clean. Heated large pool and even a sauna. Great pool area with restrooms and patio. Breakfast served in two lovely locations. Downfall, sleep quality is highly affected by thin walls. The neighboring showers and faucets above and to sides are extremely loud and sound like they are going to come through wall. Bummer, because the rest is so nice. Would definitely try this hotel again, maybe with ear plugs.

This best western was pretty good, I'd say standard as best westerns go, the beds were good in my opinion but they are on the firmer side so if you don't like that then you probably won't like these beds, The room was also a little dark for my liking and there were very new outlets. Other than that the room was big, there was a microwave, mini fridge, and counter sink. The bathroom was pretty good, on the bigger side, good shower and two sinks outside the bathroom bringing the total sinks to three. The breakfast was not the best, mediocre at best, bacon and eggs but the waffles were good, coffee, tea, juice, bagels, breads, and individually packaged muffins were also available. The room was relatively quiet, you could hear the room above you but I brought earplugs so it didn't bother me too much. For $122 I can't complain too much, it was good for a night or probably even for a couple nights.

This Best Western Plus has a western look which is quite cool. Parking near your room may be difficult if you go out for the day and return late. That area fills up. The pool area is generally filled with familiesa and lots of noisy children (no knock on children-- they were having a blast), but too noisy for us and also would not recommend a room near the pool because of the noise. But other than that, we would recommend this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast as what you would expect-- maybe a cut above the 'usual" -- two locations and includes outdoor tables and chairs if desired.

The room we stayed in was shabbily and dingy. The whole place is in desperate need of a makeover. The carpet in our room was torn , dirty, and smelled. The bathroom floor had built up dirt in the corners, the the fan vent was dirty. Everything in the room was old and worn out. I wouldn't stay there again unless they do a remodel.

I would rate it 4.5, but that is available and felt it was better than 4. The rooms were clean and large. The value was great we were on a baseball tournament and other were paying twice what we did. I slept great there, would definitely stay there again.

We love staying at this hotel for its proximity to Pismo, Grover Beach and Avila Cove. The rooms are spacious and clean. The old California west theme is charming. The pool and jacuzzi are a favorite for the kids. Breakfast has good options. Good value for a family vacation.

run down rooms and property mainly a hotel for workers they eat all of the breakfast items and take up all of the parking spaces. Noisy little or no staff and the staff was not well schooled in how to handle customers

We arrived and received a complementary gift bag for being members. The room was huge and everyone slept great. The pool and spa are fantastic. The hotel is close to the beach and pier. We really enjoyed our time.

Stay is comfortable, rooms are decent. Pool facilities are good. How we the breakfast needs a major upgrade. It is very basic and not worth having more that for one morning, this is a major weak spot.

Have always stayed at this Best Western and found it to be very clean and well managed. The people are great! This past weekend when I tried to reserve a room in April I was quoted a price for two nights doubled for what I paid for the two nights this Friday and Saturday. With those prices I can stay in San Luis Obispo. Why have the prices increased so much? I am a Diamond Elite member and when I asked the clerk about the increase they stated "That's our price". Unfortunately at those prices I will not be back.

It was a nice room, but the bed needed more blankets. The thin sheet/comforter was not enough warmth. When asked for a blanket, all they had was a thin stained blanket. They had water and coffee available in the lobby which was nice.

We were on a road trip and located this Best Western Casa Grande Inn on a search. Generally we have good stays with Best Westerns so we booked this one on our drive. When I called, I requested a quiet room & was told by the young man on duty that they were not busy. It was late when we arrived, so we were ready for showers and sleep. As we took the only elevator and walked to our room, we passed 5 rooms (doors all open) of loud, rowdy young men on a sports team and their rooms reeked of pot. Their chaperones were on the floor below. Our room had no towels, so when I reported this at the front desk I was made to follow a trainee from linen closet to linen closet all over the property to collect towels. When I returned to the room my friend said the kids next door were very loud to the point of disturbing. So I called the desk to report this. Getting another room was a hassle dealing with the young man on duty and we finally got a smaller room on the other side of the property. Will not choose this place again. Ever.

The rooms could use some up grading but love the landscaping & lobby. New carpet would improve the rooms a lot! Breakfast was great. Like the building it was in over looking the pool. Sorry to see the restaurant was closed. I suppose Covid didn't help We ended up at AJ Spurs which was right up the street It was too cold to use the pool but I would bet it's nice in the summer time.

We have been staying at the Casa Grande for 20? years. We drive from LA to Big Sur 2-3 times each year and overnight at Arroyo Grande. We've stayed in a few around there and find the Casa Grande just the best!!!! Quiet comfortable clean, friendly staff..... It's perfect for us in every way.

We had a great time staying in this well-maintained, well decorated and beautifully landscaped BW Casa Grande Inn. Located in a nice neighborhood and close driving distance to touristy places, shows, restaurants, freeway, etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Amenities included were microwave, minifridge, hairdryer, coffee, and comfortable furniture. Grateful that they also have a full breakfast from 6.30 to 9.30 am. We will be back!

We rode our Harley's from Los Angeles to Big Sur. We reserved rooms at BW Arroyo Grande and we were pleasantly surprised. Nice hotel with a Spanish Rancho theme to it. I've already recommended it to our other military friends and family. We will definitely be staying here again. BTW, they honor military with a discount which is a big plus in my book.

The room smelled so rancid and moldy that it bordered on uninhabitable. It was so bad that we left before they opened the breakfast room for the free breakfast the next morning. To add to this, there was a room of highway workers in the next room who were loud and inconsiderate. It was such a bad experience, it was like we were being pranked into the worst motel stay ever.

Visiting family in the area for thanksgiving. We were so close to them as well as stores for last minute items. The hotel has a very nice mission style decor and friendly staff. Overall, a nice place to stay!

This is the best hotel in the Arroyo Grande / Pismo Beach area. Stayed here many times during the past 10 years, and the accommodations are consistently excellent. The staff is friendly, rooms are well maintained, and the buffet breakfast includes a wide variety of hot and cold items. A good value for this popular tourist destination.

1. The TV feed needs an upgrade. Difficult to view local TV stations. The hand held only set on cable. The programs on cable were not news worthy. Needs improvement. 2. Good location for stopover for those traveling from LA to Bay Area. 3. Although BW location is tucked on a hillside, it is accessible, 4. Best room rate is during the week, but generally mid-range costs. 5. On-line reservation is very convenient, if there are other amenities like handicap room, its best to call front desk.......very accommodating if rooms are available, of course. 6. Folks at the front desk are always polite and try to accommodate our requests.

Ok location and quiet location. This hotel is on the hill by chain stores and not within walking distance of downtown Pismo. It has good free parking and very quiet at night. The pool is located at tge enterance and not too loud. Close to a Taco Bell and Grocery store is across the street. There's a grocery outlet within walking distance through the parking lot there's a bridge.

I loved staying at this Best Western. The staff is friendly, helpful and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The room was clean and the grounds are gorgeous. The pool is heated and the spa is relaxing. I highly recommend this place.

Great hotel with quality and consistency for guests. The full breakfast was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Really...if you're coming to the south county of the central coast - stay here and get real value. Right across the street is the great A.J. Spurs restaurant where they serve dinner "chuckwagon-style." You'll love both places and the hotel is right off the Highway 101, but it is very quiet.

Rooms are large with microwaves and small refrigerators. No carpeting which I really appreciate. Housekeeping is very accommodating. Beds were a little firm and lumpy, but better than most in this price range. There was an area to hose off our dogs after going to the beach, which was so helpful.

Great beds and cozy soft bedding in large room with wet bar (love not having to share a vanity) microwave, fridge, large TV. Nice property with old Spanish character. The hot tub and pool looked inviting although we didn't use.

We stayed overnight while passing through town. This hotel has a very unique ambiance! The lobby is really impressive and has lots of interesting artwork on display, as well as a welcoming fireplace. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a king room. It was small, but not cramped. It was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to park right outside our room, making it easy to unload. The breakfast was in a small room that overlooks the pool, and was decent. We did not use the pool. We did have to do some laundry, and had some issues but they were quickly resolved. There is a nice little garden path area in the middle of all the buildings. The rooms are on several different levels because the hotel is built on a hill. There was nothing within walking distance of this hotel, but it is very convenient to the 101 and a short drive down to the beach boardwalk area. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed pillows were enormous, and were at first, difficult to sleep on. My wife and I had a room that pet dogs are allowed in. FYI they are different from the people only rooms. Breakfast was satisfactory and the staff was accomodating.

It was a great looking Spanish hotel, we loved the interieur. They gave us a very big room on the groundfloor in the main bilding, it was very luxury and close to the breakfastroom. It was just for one night, would stay longer.

It was a nice room, good big shower! Friendly desk staff, it was pretty quiet so we had a good nights sleep and it was easy to find. Great for a stopover. Pool looked nice too. Breakfast wasn't bad there was a mix of things to eat and waffles to cook yourself. Be warned breakfast finishes at 9.30am.

We spent one night at BW Casa Grande Inn en-route to SF. The location is great for easy access to shops and restaurants at Pismo Beach, as well as the Premium Outlets. The accommodation itself has a quirky colonial Spanish feel but we really liked that. It was a different experience to the other hotels we stayed at during our holiday. We were upgraded to a family room with two seperate bedrooms and a large living area. We loved the space the room provided and although the decor was a little outdated, we did enjoy our stay here. I'd certainly recommend this place to others who are open to new and different experiences - this isn't like a typical hotel you may stay at so keep an open mind and enjoy the experience!

We stayed 1 night, place was ok. Rooms are dated, breakfast was ok. For the price, it didn't seem like it was worth it. Parking was right outside the room so that was a plus. Was not able to walk to beach. No safe in room Good for a night if you don't mind paying a little more for an average place.

We had such a good time. Trip started right when we got a free upgrade to a pool side suite. Found a perfect dinner spot within a couple minutes of hotel. Then had a nice free simple breakfast and hit splash for lunch...everything within 10 minutes of hotel...thank you amd can't wait to come back...girlfriend loved the decor...

We've been staying here for several years whether it's the whole family staying or just the hubby and I we absolutely love it conveniently located but I especially love the hot tub!!! We usually stay in the family suite this time the hubby and I stayed in the king suite poolside and I am in love!!!

As soon as we walked in the room, there was an atrocious odor coming from the bathroom and the room in general. It was so bad that my partner and I just left the best western, went to our event and then went back home. Bottom line is that there is a cleanliness issue and we did not feel comfortable staying there. I've stayed at many motels in my life that have been less than great but this odor was enough to make me just say forget it I'M OUT.

This BW is one of our favorites! It was also our first time staying at a hotel with our dog but the front desk were very helpful and assigned us a room on the first floor that was clean and spacious. There's also a small beautiful dog area right in the middle of the hotel. The one star I left out is due to the building being slightly older so you can hear people walking around, rolling their suitcases through the hallway and if the person above you is heavy footed, you can definitely hear them stomping around. Besides that, we had a restful night and I still think they have the comfiest pillows in all the hotels/motels I've stayed at. Please tell me what type of pillow it is. I need one. Anyway, we love this side of town and although we don't come as often as we'd like, I know that I will always choose this BW.

The architecture is beautiful in a lovely area. The staff is very accommodating. Even though the property looks like it has some age with it, it is beautifully kept. The lobby is caught my attention with the great architecture. Internet is a bit slow but it got the job done. Definitely worth the value. I would stay again!

This best western is one of my favorite best westerns! Great large rooms and very friendly staff. Places to eat are walkable and shopping. And just 20 minutes away from cal Poly university. Lot's is good places to eat and near the beach if you drive.

I stayed for a few days as an out patient at the nano institute for a full knee replacement. It's next door and the hotel staff was fantastic. Every time I needed something they were so helpful. That included housekeeping , front desk and anyone else we walked into. Great resort.

This Best Western Motel in Arroyo Grande is awesome and very clean. The pool has a water fall and is clean also.I give it 10 star. We will be visiting again soon. I really like the price range and is close to the beach.

This hotel was beautiful. Lots of beautiful artwork that we learned was the owners personal collection. And it was easy to get to Pismo Beach and Morro Bay. Staff was wonderful. Close to freeway access.

My pillow was stained and the room smelled. The tv was to dark to see. There were huge stains on the floors. Local construction workers were staying at this place and in my experience that usually means cheap and no care for the quality of the rooms. The breakfast was ok but nothing special at all. This place says it's a 3 star but it's definitely a 2 star and reflects it. We stayed in a double queen. I'm not sure if the poolside rooms are better or not.

I have been staying at the Best Western Casa Grande Inn every time I visit the Five Cities area, usually once a month. The accomodations are excellent at this well managed hotel. There are two breakfast rooms, both of which offering a full breakfast buffet with much more than the usual continental breakfast. Everyone on the staff is friendly and always willing to help. There is a computer in the lobby for guests to use, and not being computer savvy I needed guidance, which the desk clerk was able to provide. The location of this hotel is close to excellent restaurants, like Ada's, Rosa's or Brad's in Pismo Beach, along with shopping and movie theaters. Even the city bus is handy if you don't have a car, or prefer not to drive. I always look forward to staying at this hotel.

We had a great stayed in this hotel, they accommodated our early checked in. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast is awesome, lot. of choices. Location is perfect, easy access to Freeway 101. Highly recommend to our friends.

We were here for a wedding and this was an affordable but high class hotel. I was impressed with the architecture and how it fit into the community of Arroyo Grande so beautifully. We loved the pool and jacuzzi, really lovely space and appreciated the luxurious, well appointed rooms.

Upon checking in we were informed that we had been upgraded to a Suite! Everyone working here were great and helpful. This hotel is located in a great location within several restaurants. Will be coming back here again

We had a good stay although the people above us were loud and stomping late at night. Also, the ice machine was not working and or no ice Available. The breakfast was good and the person was working really hard keeping everything stocked. She deserves a raise. Thank you Best Western for having a nice clean room for us. Very nice. The room with two queen beds was very spacious and clean. We asked for extra towels. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not do the breakfast, but did do coffee in the main lobby. Would recommend to family and friends.

The design and layout of the hotel -though a classic BW with all what one would expect- is quite unique, elegant and inviting. Spacious. Quiet. The serve-yourself breakfast was perfect, even included a waffle maker and bagels, not common these days. You can go in and out and just grab a coffee, or a basic breakfast to eat outdoors, indoors or in your (spacious, clean) room.

Very nice, spacious enough for 3 people, kitchenette-ish good, cleanliness was good- carpet in that room probably needs to be replaced- tears in it and felt kind of gross under feet, other than that, highly recommend this one- easy access. Breakfast was nice too!

An excellent facility. Rooms are large and nicely appointed. Staff were prompt and helpful. I forgot toothpaste and they had small samples. Breakfast was very good, and the area was clean and well stocked.

This place is nice. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds with nice pillows . There is a nice pool and hot tub to relax in. They are right next to a shopping center. This might just be the nicest place in the area. If you are planning a trip to Pismo I recommend staying here. They have pet friendly rooms so you can bring the dogs with you.

DON'T STAY HERE!!! The parking here is horrible for disabled. There are 2 spots for the entire building and really not enough other spots for the rooms. I had to park in in between two cars in handicapped spots. I am disabled and have a placard. Then I was called at 10 p.m. and told I was parked illegally and would be towed if not moved. Apparently I was actually in the loading spot for the handicapped spot, yet that was not clearly marked (at least in the dark). I was already in bed, so I went out in my robe and slippers to move it, I was greeted by a woman employee in the parking lot and I asked where I was supposed to park and she said there are spots behind the building and there was some back entrance. There were spots back there with semi trucks and RVs and then the back entrance had a flight of stairs, really?!? I hurt my bad hip and knee climbing them and got back to my room. I called the front desk to say I was not happy about this and asked if someone had complained and the same woman told me no, they just saw my car, then she tells me she thinks I hit the car next to me with my door when I got in to move it!! I know I didn't and told her so, but she said I heard a definite “thunk”, so I asked if she had any proof, was there any of my paint on the car? She says she did not have a chance to investigate it yet, really, she was right there! I went back out to investigate myself and found the car had dings all along that side and nothing that looked fresh or my color paint, I took pictures. The room was not that great either, especially for the amount charged, the bathroom was small and dingy, like you'd expect in a Motel 6, the bedding was rough and a ratty blanket covered by a thin cover. I won't be staying here again!! Many other choices around!

Reasonable nice place to stay friendly and courteous receptionist morning breakfast is a real bonus I have stayed at three different Best Western hotels recently and planning more stays in the future looking forward to it

Nice hotel and room we stayed in was clean and spacious. Hotel is close to a few restaurants and good location for the beach. Pool was out of action which was disappointing but we were only there for one night. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful experience, and this was our third time staying here. They offer a nice breakfast, great resort like location. The staff goes out of their way to help you. They provide a safe and clean environment.

Such a quaint beautiful hotel in Arroyo Grande. It's very close to eateries and shops and not to far from the beach. Very quiet. Pool was nice and beautiful at night. Room was spacious with a little outdoor patio over looking the pool. Bed was comfy but linens were a little scratchy. Water pressure was really poor. Great place to stay.

booked last min trip for one night, clean quiet rooms not too far from the beach. Big plus for us they had free breakfast, not just pastries and juice but eggs bacon and you can make your own walffle !

When we checked in they didn't have any king bed rooms cleaned so the clerk checked us into a two bed room. She said there was no difference but the two bed rooms were queen beds and we like a king that is why I booked one. The room was good except the people above us were making noise most the night so was not quiet like the desk clerk stated it would be a nice quiet area. I think the people above might have had kids so that might be why. Our stay was fine overall.

Our room was a very nice sized room. The desk person recommended a restaurant and we appreciated it being just a very short walk across a footbridge from the hotel. We liked their breakfast the best due to the belgian waffles and strawberries and caramel to go on them. Nice touch.

We stayed 3 days and the hotel was clean, comfortable and staff was helpful. The location was perfectly to get to all our wedding events. Close to freeways and nice restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

Had a extremely bad stay for a late anniversary we stayed on the second floor I asked for a more accessible room for me and my son but they would accommodate it, I asked for a late check out and I got one for 12 noon so I said great but the next day at 11am housekeeping opens the door on me and I'm half naked and I told her please close the door I have a late check out and again at 1130 she opens the door and my 7yr old son that's disabled is naked and I told her close the door and she wouldn't she keeps telling me it's after check out and I had a late check for noon. She was exposing my naked son he's a minor, I made a police complaint, so now the hotel wants to blacklist me when they don't even want to help me in anyway, I will be reporting this hotel to better business burreu. It's highly illegal what they do. And they kept lying saying I asked for a refund before but this was my second stay only and my other stay great!

Average stay. The room was very large and bed comfortable. The breakfast was typical with powdered eggs, bacon, bagels, waffles… Coffee and cookies in the lobby Saturday night was wonderful! On the negative side: Broken electrical outlet and toilet ran. The key card stopped working while we were packing up. The gal cleaning rooms was gracious and helped get me back in. We would stay here again.

Hotel lobby is very nice and the staff were great with my dog. Room was very clean. I had a noise issue but the staff handled it very quickly which I appreciated. It's less than 5 minutes from Pismo Beach which is where I spent my time so that we convenient. There's also nice grass areas for the pups to go potty.

Great place to stay. Clean, friendly staff. Beautiful landscape. Nice pool. Parking is a little shaky, but doable. Good free breakfast. Easy access to freeway and other local sightseeing. Close to beach.

Absolutely love this hotel There friendly the rooms are always clean and well stocked on toiletries there breakfast is good great variety of items and the pool and hot tub are excellent my kids favorite the hot tub is big and both are very clean and there restroom has a sauna pretty awesome hotel with great service love the atmosphere

Room was good and it was in a good location. Amenities were also good; however, I did NOT like the very, tiny, small cafeteria. You have a huge hotel and not a big enough cafeteria to accommodate its guests. At times, during breakfast time, it got extremely crowded, and by 9:00am the place had run out of many of the breakfast items. I asked the attendant about the missing items, and she said he had run of out many items already. So, yes, a bigger and better stocked cafeteria is badly needed.

The property grounds and pool are beautiful. Mission style buildings are pretty. The hotel is older and the rooms could use renovating, but they are kept very clean. There were no appropriate kids channels and the breakfast room was hard to navigate with a lot of people in it. Breakfast was good though.

We arrived very late to spend the night and leave the next morning. We had everything we needed. When we arrived there was no one at the reception desk for a while, which was frustrating after a long drive. The pillows were not comfortable.

The staff at this location are always super nice. The young lady who assisted me was being treated very poorly by a client but she remained nice, professional, and helpful. The room smelled musty and the air conditioner didn't work, but otherwise everything was fine.

Spent two nights for a quick getaway trip to Pismo. The hotel is in close proximity to the beach & attractions, but you will have to drive. Since it is outside of the area it is on the quieter side of town which I like. The hotel is in good shape for the price. You don't have to worry about paying too much for a dumpy stay. This is better! You will get what you paid for. My family stays at this hotel often. The rooms & beds are decent. My king bed was a little stiff for me but it did not interrupt the enjoyment of my stay. It is a clean hotel room, a little on the older side but it is well maintained. All staff are helpful. It was an easy check in & check out process. The breakfast room, pool, and jacuzzi are all great! This is a hotel that I keep coming back to. It is a good stay. :)

The Hotel is ok a little outdated, the room smelled musty, the beds were comfortable but the ONLY REASON I gave 1 Star is because of RUDE RITA at the Front Desk .. My husband got up in the morning to get some of the continental breakfast ..he didn't know where to go so he went to the front office and asked where he could find the breakfast , that's when Rude Rita told my husband “they only had coffee!” He came back to our room with only Coffee, I asked him what happened and he said there's no breakfast only coffee .. I went to call the office but The Phone in the room wasn't working so I called in and asked what time breakfast started it was 6:53 and RITA answered she said breakfast starts at 6:30 so I was confused and Rita said hello it's 6:53 we have breakfast it's by the pool in a very condescending manner … HEY RITA YOU DONT HAVE TO BE RUDE MAYBE HAD YOU TOLD MY HUSBAND THAT instead of trying to mislead him into thinking there was no breakfast I wouldn't have had to call in and ask! Relax lady we are guests here and the hotel offers breakfast.. my husband went and wasn't impressed so you can stuff yourself with the breakfast you didn't want us to have .. we will take the kids somewhere else and for $250 a night where the one staff member ruined it for us we will stay somewhere else next time we visit

I love staying at casa grande the staff always makes me feel welcomed.the facilty is immaculate great location the breakfast is great ( should add some kosher options)I bought my dog there's a large more than adequate field for my dog to play OFF leash. Excellent choice for family trips and busissiness

Very nice and clean room. We had a most enjoyable time at BW. Thank you. The room had a nice mini bar unfortunately never used. The shower hot water could have been a little warmer. The exterior grounds are well kept.

I've stayed at Best Western Casa Grande Inn on a number of occasions. It never fails to provide a nice respite for a quick getaway whether you live San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles region. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable. Even though the Inn was quite booked, the rooms were insulated so that you couldn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. Complimentary breakfast and afternoon snacks are always a plus.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel cause our daughter was in a swim tournament at Cuesta. The outside of this hotel is nice. The inside looks like it was stuck in the 70's. The beds were very uncomfortable. The pillows were very small but they were the most comfortable thing on our bed. At present time I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The staff is very friendly and and meet our accommodations. I loved the nostalgia and comfort of the room. Felt right at home so far away. Breakfast was very nice especially since COVID has really limited a lot of anemmeties. The hot tub and pool were at the correct temperature. The grounds were very well kept and we enjoyed the walk through the property.

The location is great. It's very close to Pismo Beach. The room looked antique, and very damp. Also, the walls were very thin, and we could hear people walking and talking in the room above us. It is okay for a couple who are looking for a quick weekend getaway.

Large room, large and very comfortable bed. The fridge made a lot of noice, but easy to switch off. Nice breakfast, not to fancy but enough choice to start your day. Small pool and jacuzzi, didn't use.

My sister amd I spent one needed getaway night from the men here. Room was big enough to move around comfortably. Bed super comfy. Room warmed up quickly and stayed comfortable throughout evening and next morning. Only downside.....** All the kids. And a couple of toddler tyrants! Waking up to the screams was extremely agitating. NOT the Hotels fault. Just a side note. And lastly, no ocean view. Ocean on the other side of hill.

We love this best western. Our kids love it even more. Great location close to Wal-Mart and in and out and close access to 101 just minutes away from Pismo and Avila.Not to mention a Starbucks in the next door shopping plaza. I exit away from the outlet.

I've stayed here a couple of times now, it never disappoints. Rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious with coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and plenty of cups, coffee and tea supplies. Staff is very friendly. Very convenient location, just off the 101 and walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores.

The staff was great the rooms were very clean everybody was very helpful and I was happy they had to breath it back my wife and I enjoyed our trip. We are definitely gonna stay here again without any question thank you

This is a good hotel given that it serves good breakfast and kids friendly. The breakfast is almost as good as the 4 stars hotels near the beach. Kids love the pool and hot tub/spa. The pool is slightly heated where the water isn't icy cold during this warm winter weather. The hot tub/spa was hot..which is perfect for me. The room are spacious but parking not so much. I feel like there isn't enough parking for each room that are there. I feel like I couldn't drive out for a nice dinner because I won't be able to find parking space when I return. It's a quiet place to stay and in close proximity to fast food places. I'm willing to come back in the future.

Hotel was great, room and breakfast were excellent. Pismo Beach pier area is beautiful at sunset. Good seafood restaurant right at the pier. Pismo Beach looks like a fun place for everyone. We will be visiting again.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. The desk staff is wonderful. Our room this time and the last time was decent. We have a dog, so of course we stayed downstairs, which we don't mind at all. There's a good grassy area next to the motel for the dog, but I didn't see any bags for poop. There are a lot of workmen who stay there, so the parking lot is to capacity most of the time. My husband slipped in the bathtub the morning we were leaving. He didn't break anything, but it was quite difficult for him to get up again, as there's no area or bar to hold onto. The beds on both of our trips were not comfortable at all nor were the pillows. We found out the first time we stayed there to not eat the breakfast in the morning-nothing was freshly cooked at all.

We needed a 2 night stay as we are buying a house that required fumigation. The first night's room was comfortable but totally unsatisfactory due to the noise level in the room caused by other guests. I spoke to Rita in the morning of the second day and she was very courteous and understanding of the situation as I relayed to her. She moved us immediately for our second night and it was 100% improved over the first night. Rita's actions and demeanor were the reason we stayed at the hotel the second night and changed our review from below average to above average.

I travel frequently, mostly for visiting friends and family now that I am retired. The Best Western Casa Grande is one of my favorite places to stay. The staff is great, the rooms are very nice, and the traditional breakfast buffet in the breakfast room is back. Daily newspapers are available in the lobby, as well as fresh coffee any time of day. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance, and it is a pleasure to walk in the clean ocean air. I look forward to returning again.

I love this hotel. This was my third time stay here in the past couple of years. Especially the atmosphere of the lobby is very welcoming and like an old hacienda from a movie set rather than cold, boring, classic hotel look. Rooms are very nice and clean and everything is in good working order. Since I travel with my motorcycle I love motel style parking right in front of your door. Breakfast room is cozy little area and very adequate choices. Employees were respectful to Covid regulations and everything look clean and sanitized carefully. Appreciated and I will be back again!

The surrounding areas are gorgeous & you are so close to the beach. Just far enough for a calm & relaxing beach trip. The staff were all very kind and assisted us with a remote issue right away! We ended up booking for another night!

Room good and clean, Tv channels are awful, could use a financial channel, plus you could hear people walking above us, also you could hear dripping in the went in Bathroom vent when it rained. bed was good.

We have stayed every six months (except during the pandemic) at the Best Western Casa Grande in Arroyo Grande, California. We just love everything abut it. Charming architecture and decor, great comfortable, clean rooms, great staff and a few blocks from our favorite Central Coast restaurant AJ Spurs

Was able to book a room easily the night before. We just needed a 1-night stay. Got everything we expected from a Best Western. Easy check-in & check-out, continental breakfast, TV, mini fridge & microwave in room. Staff we interacted with were all nice. This Best Western actually had a decently sized bathroom, unlike some other locations where they are the size of a broom closet. This location seems a little older, but everything seemed clean and neat. One downside is walls are quite thin so having rowdy neighbors wasn't great. There's a coffee station in the lobby and they had packs of free cookies out at night during our stay. The Christmas decor and Spanish style of this Best Western was really cute too. Would stay again.

The room was very nice. They serve a great breakfast with lots of options. An employee was very helpful when I left an item behind. The king size bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

This was a pleasant stay - the décor and ambience was delightful. The staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone traveling. The check in and the check out was also fast and with no problems. The bag breakfast was just right with a variety of items and there were beverages in the room. The access to internet and the TV service was available also.

The architecture and construction are the best part. Yes the rooms are as you would expect from a Best Western but once you step out of the room, everything looks so beautiful. Because of COVID-19 they gave a packed to breakfast

My wife and I stayed here last week (Nov 2021). We checked in late, crashed out, and we both woke up coughing profusely. I have a known allergy to mold. Peeking around the room in the daylight I saw this. Prodigious mold growing on and around the AC unit. This is a serious health hazard. THEY HAVE A SPECIAL SYSTEM TO DISPERSE BLACK MOLD INTO THE AIR. Angry and annoyed, I went to check out. The front desk jotted a note and said they would check it. They *may* have offered a weak apology but that's it. No offer to make things right. I complained to corporate and after a week of useless emails, customer service came back with "the local hotel said they apologized and you should have let them know earlier so they could fix your stay." Oh my bad; I forget to play health inspector when I checked in the middle of the night and just needed a clean place to crash. I have submitted complaints with the BBB and the CA Dept of Public Health. I wish they put the effort into cleaning which they are now putting into retaining my ill-begotten money. DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU LIKE HAVING LUNGS.

Very clean and comfortable . When I called for assistance regarding bathroom fixtures shower and faucet it was attended to right away . Good service from staff . Breakfast could be a little improved . Cold breakfast sandwich if you're on the go ... is not well thought off ... maybe a little microwave at the breakfast area in the lobby could have helped . A little warmer receptionist personnel can also add more to the experience .

The hotel parking lot is pretty scruffy, but the rooms were comfy. The pool was above average and we were within walking distance to some stores & restaurants. They could really use EV charge stations or outlets in the parking lot.
