Aiden by Best Western Stockholm Arlanda Airport

Unfortunately, the sheets had not been changed from the previous guests and there were fresh stains on the duvet cover! The soap dispenser was snapped and broken and there was no lamp bulb in the reading lamp. The sheets were changed immediately and the hotel offered us a full refund as an apology. That was 3 weeks ago. After calls and continuous promises from the manager Eva, no refund has been forthcoming. We conclude that those continuous promises of a refund were the manager's attempt to stop us from asking for updates and that the hotel has no intention of refunding our money. It was the hotel that initiated the refund - not us. If management had no intention of refunding us then the offer should not have been made. Very disappointing customer service and highly unprofessional handling from management.

It's a shame that BW has this place in their lineup of hotels. The shortcomings are too many to list them here. There is no BW sign anywhere, on the hotel inside or out. It is a dump in the middle of nowhere with workers that have no clue of anything or willingness to help. I only blame BW for advertising htis place under their name. The two star is a very generous rating.

We only had 2 nights in Stockholm and our accommodation had to be near the airport with a free shuttle. The Aiden was perfect for our needs. The shuttle collected us at the airport (you had to prebook it) and took us straight there. While the room wasn't 5 star, the bed was comfortable and the shower good. It was a very reasonable price, and with a delicious included breakfast that is available from 4 am for early starters. I recommend the Swedish meatballs, they were delicious! We'll be back for sure.

Hotel is ok for the price. Breakfast included but shuttle is a nightmare because you have to book in advance and it will not drop at your terminal but need you to walk a good walk. Would recommend hotel inside the airport as that's better and less hassle.

The room was unbelievably hot - not warm - hot - and even with the window open and the fan going, I could not sleep. The staff had no way of fixing it and it seemed like other parts of the hotel were not experiencing the problem - tried to move us to another room and had the same problem - I would not return

Friendly staff, clean and fresh room, great breakfast, free overnight parking, close to Arlanda with prebookable shuttle bus if needed. Common area fresh and clean. Quiet. Beds somewhat narrow and relatively warm. Window could though be opened. Great value for money.

Shuttle (reserve online) from/to airport very convenient. Room quiet, bed comfortable, spartan furnishings. Breakfast was pretty decent. All staff i dealt with were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is nice, closer to airport and they provide shuttle services, however the water in the bathroom sink was clogged.

Very kind and helpful staff, and the bus to and from the airport is a big plus! Breakfast was generous, and the room was very quiet. It was an easy transfer for our flight, and we will stay again in the future. Grazie tusan tack!

This particular property is significantly below the standards that I have grown accustomed with the Best Western brand. Carpet stains in the hallway, dust and dirt on exposed flooring, cigarette burns on the side of the bed box spring and no air conditioning. The guest check in or reception area is also a bar, so it really gives a very poor first impression.

Convenient, helpful staff, good shuttle service, good breakfast, not great hot water and towels smelled a bit - of cheese!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at!m. Sure, basically modest BUT.. - great location near ARN w free transports - very cosy building, friendly staff - fab breakfast buffet starts at 4am(?!!) Truly amazing value..

Simple, but clean and had everything I needed

I had an issue with the shuttle not picking us up at terminals 2/3 (and someone take did too) but once i made it there it was great. I took the shuttle several more times but always from 4. The room was basic but clean and spacious. The staff were really helpful. Breakfast was fantastic (esp for the price, I really don't know what others are complaining about??) and several places to wait before after check in out. Where it's located there aren't any nice walks etc but for an overnight before a flight definately I'd stay again. As a solo female traveller I felt safe.

weekend break to watch the foo fighters and had a great stay. everything you need and more, good prices for beers and snacks and super friendly staff all ready to help if you need. we will see you in September for sure 😁

Clean and nice rooms. We ha a pretty big room with balcony. Very comfortable and soft bed. Good service!! Both parking and transfers to airport are super.

Other than the staff being extremely friendly, this hotel was a bust. I'm so glad I was only staying one night. The room was overheated and they were polite enough to bring me a fan, but when they couldn't get the TV to work, they just shrugged their shoulders and left the room. I did use the airport shuttle, which was the whole reason I picked the hotel in the first place.

Excellent value for money. Stayed here overnight before travelling to the airport and couldn't fault it. The hotel is basic, as described, but is as shown on the website. Staff all super helpful. Breakfast was 10/10!

The room was very hot! Had a fan in room from hotel, so this is obviously known. Too hot for comfortable sleeping. Air conditioning didn't seem to work. I do not plan to ever stay here again.

Pro Hotel room was small single bed. Nice and clean. There is a restaurant serving buffet and snacks. I didn't eat Cons The shuttle does not on regular intervals as mentioned on their page. I arrived at terminal 2 Bay 8 at 6.50 pm. I was finally picked up at 7.30 pm. The whatsapp number they provide is ChatGPT. So it keeps telling me, shuttle is coming. Pretty useless. Booking the shuttle page did the confirmation in Sweden. So I made a mistake of booking “ from” hotel instead of “from” airport. Choose the correct option. Waiting for 45 mins after long journey was unpleasant. While return to airport at 4.-12 am shuttle came on time. But after pickup delays made me really nervous but you dont have someone to confirm. No humans, only chatgpt whatsapp, automated machine to checkin and get your card keys, and automated machine to order food. Only one staff member to answer who looked overwhelmed.

Location is close to airport, shuttle service can be booked online and is sharp on time. Atmosphere is nice, rooms are small but comfy. Only thing is there is no Air condition in the room, anyway weather was good at the time. Value is over the top, Breakfast is complete and delicious. Front desk ladies were amazingly cordial and helpful.

Airport Pick and drop is easy and super quick. Very close to the airport too.. Everything is automated and no need to interact with anyone as there's no front desk… people at the restaurant are also very professional… there's an iPad for checking in, and even for a drinking water dispenser!! I could actually give 4.5 stars to this. It is just what you need when you don't want to spend too much for a night stay..

They send you a message saying that they have free transfer from and to the airport and that you don't need to book. Then you stay waiting on the cold weather for 1hour and they didn't appear :) So after that we payed 30 euros for an Uber to drive 4km We just did this reservation because it was close to the airport and with this shuttle. When you arrive the hotel it's written in 10 different places that you need to book your transfer. I would if they had told me this on the message. In resume, I dont recommend at all Peopleless in check in, terrible

The location is quite near to airport, but not by walking distance. There is free airport shuttle from Terminal 2, 3 & 4. So you may want to check where is your flight stops at/depart from. The room is okay, slightly lack of lightings but clean & spacious. There is elevator for rooms at level 2 & 3. My booking is with breakfast, basic but fulfilling. I don't hear much noise, so I think it's okay. I think the room is good for its value.

We had a great stay, easy check in and out, good breakfast, close to the airport with shuffle transfer every 30 mins.

Good airport shuttle service. Girl at check in was cold and unfriendly and gave us the furthest room in the hotel in spite of seeing we were seniors with heavy bags. Room was comfortable with good heating. Restaurant for dinner and early morning breakfast at 4am are big benefits.

I asked my husband how he would rate the hotel, he said "It was pretty much flawless." Can't argue with that! Clean rooms, good temperature control in the room, breakfast was good and readily available, and the staff are all polite and helpful. My only personal complaint is that the beds were on spring mattresses, but they were still comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Shuttle to and from the airport was really convenient.

This hotel is a scam. Booked and stayed for 1 night back in March 2025, and got charged not once for the room but three times! They can only be reached via email and there is no way to contact the hotel via telephone, and all you get is an answerphone that has no English function. After 3 months of back and forth trying to resolve the problem, they just pass you on to another collegaue - turning a simple matter to resovle into a time consuming saga. Essentially, on the day of the check-in, they charged me twice for the stay. After reaching out to them after check-out, they seem somehow acklowdged the issue and tried to refund the payment. But instead of refunding the payment, they ended up processing the 'refund' as 'a charge', and that's a month later. Their are staff just confused and could not understand the simple logic of English. Total shamble!

Several parts of my shower were broken off. Besides this, the temperature was like a sauna - ridiculously high. Then there was the noise: the doors between rooms are insufficient to stop noise and the air ducts transfer a tinny version of the neighbour's conversation. The air ducts by themselves made a lot of windnoise as well. Breakfast was scarce. Dinner was pizza-like food which could be prepared with a micro wave.

For the price this hotel is good value for money. The shuttle bus is easy to find at the bus stops outside the terminal, they run on time. Bed was comfy. Room and bathroom was clean. The breakfast was lovely and starts from 4am which was great as I had an early flight to London.

I really liked the stay! It had very tasty breakfast and shuttle service included and also a bar, for airport stay it's very convenient and good price. However, I could not find the information on the shuttle bus stop, I had to do very much research to find out, that on terminal 4 the bus comes to the stop number 13. It would be very helpful to provide this information right away on the booking email or website. Also the bus doesn't stop on terminal 5, but it's just 5 min walk through the airport to the terminal 4. I would definitely book it again, if I am having connected flight from Stockholm. Thank you!

I stayed over at the Hotel whilst participating in a conference at one of the Airport Hotels and it was great. Staff were super friendly (kudos to Zemen and Andreas), the hotel had all the required facilities and was super easy to use their shuttle to the airport that runs twice an hour and like clockwork. Breakfast was really tasty and the food at the bar and buffet were great also. Definitely a great option close to Arlanda Airport. The check-in and check-out processes were super easy, since you can do it on your phone.

I have come to this hotel for many years, but unfortunately since it became Aiden have I seen a slow but steady decline. It's starting to feel a little shabby with frayed towels, a non functioning TV and a broken trash bin. The kitchen has updated with the new modern automatic order display which is taking away from a more personable feel. The breakfast is served for quite a few hours which is great, but this morning I'm sad to say I found an unwashed spoon and unwashed plate among the clean ones.

The only good thing was the breakfast. Room is icecold(now its cold in Sweden). There is a lot of sounds from cars from the road, you hear everything from neighbour and when they walk past you room. I havent sleept much at all this night.

Really not good. Not worth the money, I must say. Skip breakfast. Not worth at all. Not clean room. Only good thing is close to the airport.

Very Close to AirPort, free parking and really early breakfast. Would go here again next time I have an early flight. Recommend

Good standard and great location. Price is good for the quality you get and great breakfast. It is not noisy and rooms are clean. The only two negatives to metion is if you are sensitive to light, is that the round window of the bathroom door lets in lots of light in the morning, as the blinds in the window in the bathroom didnt work, and this round window in the door doesnt fill any function other than becomming a spotlight in the morning.. Otherwise there are good blackout curtains in the room. The other thing is the thick pillows, but that is personal how you like things, but I didnt fancy to sleep with my head in a 90 degree angel so slept without pillow.. ;) So a choise of a thinner pillow whould have been good.. But this is minor things in the light of how many people live in the world without a roof over their heads... Great hotel, I have stayed there many times and will most likely stay there again.

My wife and I came on a shirt city visit to Stokholm, we found the hotel staff friendly and very welcoming,the rooms were functional and clean, and the catering and other facilities were all user-friendly. We really appreciated the shuttle bus service, which allowed us to access the Arland Express at the airport as and when we chose to travel onto Stockholm.

It's a nice hotel, clean, simple... What you would expect from an airport hotel. I liked that there were fridges with drinks and sandwiches that you could just buy (pay via a screen next to the fridge) at any time day or night. Dinner was a bit confusing but it was still a comfortable one night stay. Our little boy liked the play area near our room as well

Stayed with you a lot - see that quality of service has decreased since ”Connect hotel” time. Staff not so alert and helpful. We stayed at third floor and the elevator didn't work!!! Four heavy suitcases to bring down through the stairs - not nice at all.

First of all, the transfer bus was to small. Half of the travelers had no seats. No welcoming at the hotel, just a self incheck that had useless description how to... In the room there was no signs of breakfast times. Everything is referred to the app.... Overall it was much better when it was Connect hotel. With Aiden everything is worse. I also would have liked sausagens for breakfast.

Stayed here for 2 nights for work. The hotel is only worth 2 stars. Checkin was easy. The room are somewhat small. Light over workdesk did not work. No place in the bathroom to store your things. A toilet that did have a seatingring that did not fit. Tv only had very few working channels. Pilllows in the bed were the smallest I have ever seen. But the bed was ok. Frontdeskstaff was ok. The layout of the hotel is not nice at all. Parts of the hotel seemed rundown. Paint in the room are chipping. The whole place need a total renovation. Would I stay here if I had to pay for it myself ? Absolutely not , Avoid if you can !

This is a convenient place to stay if you you arrive late or depart early from Stockholm-Arlanda airport. The hotel room is clean, comfortable, and quiet; a buffet breakfast (eggs, toast, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, juice) is served on the ground floor. There's also a free shuttle service that brings you from the airport terminal to the hotel (and back) in under 10 minutes.

Nice place to stay when your flight arrive late to Stockholm, very well organised starting from pick up shuttle from airport till hotel, very friendly staff and clean room's, breakfast was very good... Was a good experience for 1 night stay close to airport

We stayed about 6.5 hours (midnight to 6.30am) st this property. If I could give it 3.5 out of 5 I would. For us it did what it was supposed to and the price point was good (750 SKK). Good points. 1. Free shuttle bus from Terminal 4 stop 13. Runs every 30 mins at 10 and 40 past the hour. Takes about 10-15 mins to get to the final location based on where you start. 2. Breakfast was good enough with hot and cold items. Could use a better "bean to cup" coffee instead of industrial filtered coffee dispenser. 3. Room and bed good enough and comfortable. Has a huge balcony that we did not use. 4. Common areas were nice and trendy. Bad points. 1. If taking the bus to/from the airport, be extra punctual. It will leave you. I saw this. 2. As a coffee snob, the coffee was reminisct of military chow halls. 3. Check in kiosk was slow and did not produce a key. If you have self-check in kiosks they have to work and not require you to reimput information that had already been put in when reserving the room. 4. Did not observe Best Western loyalty program. I am a Diamond Select and this was not observed and no upgrade provided, which is not the norm. 5. A bit of nit picking but put lotion in the bathrooms. Overall- it did what it was supposed to at the right price point. Would stay again.

All I can say don't stay there. Dusty rooms, terrible staff, exorbitant prices on drinks. A terrible experience. We had stayed there when it was Connect hotel and thought it may have changed now it was Best Western, big mistake. Will never stay in a cheap hotel again.

The room was nice, bed comfortable, bathroom good, wifi worked well. There in the room were amenities such as a kettle and also a microwave. But, it was central A/C and it was blowing very cold air, so I went to reception and wondered if they can raise it a little so that it doesn't get so cold in the room. But they couldn't, so I had to wear two covers during the night. I didn't have breakfast because I flew very early and didn't have time, although they serve breakfast already at 4.00AM, so I don't know how it was. But it didn't look so crazy. It is not a hotel for vacationing there, it is suitable when you have to fly early and have it close to the airport. There is a free shuttle bus so that was good.
