The people were great. We enjoyed breakfast every day and enjoyed our stay. The floor in the room had obviously not been deep cleaned in quite some time. You might want to keep your shoes or flip flops on. This not to say the place is filthy, because it is not. It was clean and tidy and a good value. It is also nice to have the microwave and mini fridge.
Grandkids kicked out of pool because they said they weren't registered. I purposely rented 2 double beds so they could stay overnight. I even asked twice if they could stay. I was told yes. No one said that I had to give names. For years me and other family members have stay here and had the kids come swim. Why were we so rudely kicked out this time?
Convenient location and easy to get to. Easy check in and staff was courteous and friendly. Room was clean. Great place to stay that is just about 30 minutes from Phoenix airport. Several choices for places to eat that were easy to get to. Will definitely be a place to stay in the future to explore more of Apache Junction.
Not only in a sketchy part of town but I ended up with a wart from the poor cleaning done. Dirty carpet. Over priced and scary. Never tried the pool. Parking was outside but sketchy. Difficult to pay for room as a gift to someone else. Had to go through this big effort.
Apache Junction is a small circle and this hotel is right in the Middle Easy access. It's not crime ridden and pretty safe, lit and no bed bugs, and pretty clean. We really enjoyed the balcony, pool and jacuzzi.
Clean room. Comfortable bed. Easy to find. Good service. Easy check in and out. Good breakfast. We would stay there again.
We stayed two nights for a wedding. What made our stay perfect was Vanessa at the front desk. She was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating--she truly is a gem and an asset to this facility. The hotel location was perfect, bed was comfortable and room was very clean. The pool and surrounding area was also clean and fun! We had coffee/breakfast each day and was just what we needed to start our day. When in town make sure you take the short drive to Tortilla Flats. It was a fun curvy road with lots of beautiful views of the area, plenty of places to hike. There was a large lake and a fun tourist area to have lunch.
Accused us of lying about a bed bug. It was dead and stuck on the throw at bottom of bed. We had pictures. Housekeeper and all other staff were excellent. It also cost much more than the Residences by Marriott that was only short distance away. That room was a suite and much nicer! The breakfast food was better also.
I like the location of this Best Western as it was within 10 minutes of the events that I would be attending. It is also a smaller location which I find more comfortable. However they king mattress was very uncomfortable and this is not the first Best Western that I have had this issue with. I would have changed rooms hut the hotel was full that weekend.
We enjoy staying at this property when visiting family in Apache Junction. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is fine. Housekeeping is friendly. The area seems safe and we are near family, Walmart, and gas stations. We have stayed here at least 3 times already for multiple days. It's a good stay.
The rooms were very clean. The cable was out for a full day on a Saturday, with no compensation from the hotel. The lobby is locked in the evening until 6:30am, possible due to all the homeless people around. They have you speak thru a glass window outside if you need to speak to someone during the closed lobby hours, a little scarry. Most of the time no one was at the front desk. Breakfast had stale breads, limited options, super bland. The worst Best Western I have stayed in.
We were here to move our daughter and we're very satisfied with our stay! Our room was cleaned and refreshed every day. Clean towels were very much appreciated each day. The breakfast was fresh and good each day!
The Best Western was nice. I slept well every night. There was breakfast every morning. I felt safe and secure. The facility is well maintained. The employees are pleasant. Swimming pool outside. The time I was there, temperatures were 118 and not many people got into the pool. It would be like swimming in a warm water bath tub. I would highly recommend the Best Western to stay.
Loved how small the hotel is. Cute little balconies with chairs and tables and beautiful view of the mountians. Very clean, and staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was cleanand operating, Would definitely reccomend
This BW is our go-to motel when we're in Apache Junction. Rooms are quiet, beds comfortable. Breakfast has many options. Their staff is always friendly & knowledgeable. The location is easy to find and sits in a safe neighborhood where we have enjoyed an occasional morning walk. Highly recommend.
Very great place to stay friendly staff good breakfast and clean rooms if you are thinking about staying anywhere else your crazy hands down the best place to stay to relax and soak your feet or perfect for business
I will stay here again. It is super clean and nice. Great service and they really care. Very quiet and nicely kept swimming pool. It has a small resort feeling. I will always stay there when I'm in town. So much better than more expensive competitors.
Great property. Clean, quiet, nice balconies and outdoor pool area to enjoy the Arizona weather. Close to restaurants, shops and anything you need. Also has a great daily included breakfast. Have stayed here a couple of times while visiting family and always very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The location was good. The only issue I had was all the outlets were loose so charging phones etc..was difficult. But overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again
Nice and simple hotel in a great location for anyone visiting Apache Junction. Very clean, super friendly people. Hot breakfast is a great plus also. Pool and hot tub is always clean and well kept. It's not brand new, but it's very well maintained considering we've been coming here for over 20 years.
Really nice hotel! Desk clerk who checked us in was incredibly friendly , efficient and helpful. We really appreciated the coin operated laundry for washing our hiking clothes. Great breakfast in a roomy, clean dining area. Rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Very nice pool and hot tub area. Close to several good restaurants and front desk even provided us with a map showing the closest restaurants. Very helpful! No complaints at all with this place! Would go back if I am every in Apache Junction again.
This is our local go-to for accommodations in AJ. A delightful oasis with charming architecture, delightful pool and lush landscaping, all meticulously cared for. The balconies overlooking the pool are especially refreshing and the windows open up to beautiful views of the Superstitions. The staff could not be more attentive and friendly. The breakfast is delicious and impeccably monitored. The pool area feels like a resort with lovely features for lounging and relaxing. We have been customers of this hotel for many years and have always enjoyed our stays. Highly recommended. Right in the heart of AJ and a source of pride for our citizens.
Thank you for providing excellent food, choices & great tasting options to share with my companion on our brief stay at the hotel. We would highly recommend & refer your establishment to our friends & family on any future trips they take. Your service and employees were top notch, very friendly, hospitable & provided an environment that felt safe & clean. Thank you Best Western for the great service & an experience worth sharing again, at any of your numerous establishments.
Great facility, good service and value! The breakfast was very good as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. When we return, I would definitely stay there again. Housekeeping was great!
I needed a place to stay while helping family members recover from flood damage in the Apache Junction area. Best Western offered an excellent home base for operations. Ace Hardware and Fry's Grocery were within easy walking distance for supplies. Didn't have time to use the pool, but it sure was inviting. Excellent breakfast with scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurt, orange juice to start the day. This BW is well situated from the noise of traffic, yet is close to the main streets to navigate in all directions.
Beautiful rooms. Attentive staff. Professional and friendly. Impressive quality bedding. Quiet and safe. Excellent service. Immaculate cleanliness. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Conveniently located. Great local restaurants.
Okay hotel if you just need a place to sleep. Older hotel, no gym and the location seemed to be okay. We were just there to sleep for the night while traveling, so it served it's purpose. If you prefer a new hotel, I would look for different hotel. The other BW I wanted to stay was not available.
We stayed at this hotel one night - staff were friendly and accommodating and room was clean but did have a bit of an odor as did the hallway. I agree with the comments that the carpet needs to either be replaced or cleaned but I typically do not like carpet in hotel rooms as it gets quite disgusting over time. The pool area was nice but they only had 4 loungers and all were broken - very uncomfortable - this would not be great for a long stay - this is an easy fix I think they should make. The pool also could have used a cleaning a lot of floaters in there. The AC definitely was cool but it was really difficult to set - we were actually too cold we tried to set it for not as cold but it did not work had to turn it off and on. Also no elevators at this hotel so if you are on upper floor you will need to haul luggage up.
We were very happy with our 12 day vacation at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. My husband and I love hiking in the Superstition Mountains and Usery Mountain Regional Park. This location was perfect for both. The outdoor pool was very nice although the pool lounges needed replaced. The room had everything we needed: comfortable king bed, love seat, desk, fridge, microwave, TV. Air conditioner worked good and was not noisy. My one complaint is that the carpet needed shampooed. It was vacuumed nice and clean and was not sticky at all....but when we walked around in our bare feet, the bottoms of our feet soon became black. Had to keep our sandals on.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. Had a couch and bed had lots of pillows. Front desk clerk very welcoming. Everything in working order with all of the amenities. Plenty of hot water for showering. Only downside is there is no elevator and if you have a room upstairs opposite side of check-in you have to go outside then thru one door then another. You then lug your luggage up the stairwell. But once in our room I was surprised to see we had a balcony that overlooked the pool. It was very quiet. My husband enjoyed the pool. Hot breakfast was good too - bacon, eggs, muffins, etc.
I wanted to stay here as we took the dinner cruise at Canyon Lake and it was fairly late by the time we got back here. I certainly didn't want to drive all the way back into Phoenix, where we had previously been staying, in the dark. Basically, this is your only option on the outskirts of the metro area. I had been trying to book a room for a few months, as website said hotel was unavailable. Had my travel agent call and was told they were holding most of the rooms for some group even though that group hadn't put down a deposit. Couldn't believe they would hold rooms for someone who wouldn't put down a deposit, yet they wouldn't release rooms to people who would??? About two weeks before our stay they finally released rooms for reservations. Hotel didn't appear full, so that group must not have shown up. I wonder if they would have been fully booked if they hadn't been holding rooms? We booked a suite only to find out that all the suites were on the second floor and there was no elevator. The room description really should state that it is a second floor room. That wasn't going to work for us at all as we are physically unable to drag all our luggage up and down a flight of steps. Only first floor room they had was a handicapped, so we had to take it. The walk-in shower was miserable. The water just ran everywhere and the ENTIRE bathroom was flooded. Had to put ALL the towels on the floor to soak up the water following our showers. Also did not care for the hand held shower head which had NO pressure. Shower temp was very difficult to regulate. It was either scalding or cool. There was also no lid on the toilet seat so you are unable to sit down while drying yourself. We did like the huge vanity which had plenty of space for all your things. Pocket door was a bit annoying. A/C unit was a bit loud and we were unable to properly regulate the temp. The A/C was freezing, even turned all the way down. If you put the dial into the red the A/C still didn't stop. If you turned the unit off it was too hot and stuffy. Mattress was hard. Both sheets and towels were thin and not very comfortable. It's time to update. Noise from the hall was extreme. The doors must be paper thin. You can hear every word. People were yelling in the hall at 1:30 AM, waking us from a sound sleep then slammed their door so hard the building literally shook. The people above us were stomping so hard it sounded like the ceiling was going to fall in. Breakfast was just OK, small selection. Strangely, most of the paper cups leaked and you had to double up. I realized later in the day that I had accidentally left my jacket there. We called and they said they would mail it to us. It just arrived, so I was am very grateful and pleased about that.
There is nothing terrible about this hotel, nothing remarkable either. Loud echoing hallways, you will get woken up. Spartan bedding - 1 pillow per person absolutely no extra bedding if you run cold. Low end basics(tp /tissue etc) with a really high price tag.
I have stayed here multiple times. I am very happy with the service, staff, cleanliness. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The location is fantastic if you are wanting to be in or near Apache Junction
Smallish but excellent service. Multiple night stay easily accommodated. Stayed here 9 of last 13 years. Security cameras for parking. Only drawback is lack of elevators for second floor. I typically get a first floor room. Pool is nice.
Very happy with our stay. Breakfast was great. The staff was always making fresh eggs and bacon, cleaning and very attentive. The price was a little more than I usually pay. However, only a few choices in Apache Junction. Rooms had comfortable beds, large room refrigerator, and balcony. We didn't use the pool or hot tub since it was in the 50's during our stay. We will stay here again!
Despite my printed confirmation reservation price quote, I was billed excessively. The manager refuses to answer or return my calls regarding the billing discrepancy now 1 month later after numerous attempts to contact Jason and many messages left nicely. I called several times to speak with him when staff informed me he would be available only to be told he is not in.
We were really pleased with the Best Western. One of the best hotel experiences in recent history for me. Very clean room, warm reception, and nice view. Also, I appreciated that there was still daily room-cleaning service. That is not always the case anymore.
We stayed 2 nights in room 112 which is on the ground floor with access to an interior hallway but also to an outdoor private patio next to the pool. We only used the interior door once! Our room was very spacious with a king sized bed and couch. Very comfortable. Outdoor hot top was great, hot complimentary breakfast always nice, easy drive to Lost Dutchman State Park, Goldfield Ghost town, Superstition Mountain museum. A great place to stay.
The appointments at this B/W are beautiful. Downstairs rooms are fairly quiet. TV is a big flatscreen with 200 plus channels, of which maybe 50 are subscribed for. Hey, your not there to watch tv, right? If you are lucky enough to be picked to have an upstairs room, you will get a small overlooking patio so that you can enjoy your evening drink or you breakfast coffee. And, they feel more private compared to the pool facing downstairs rooms.
The entire property has been recently updated. All public areas and our room smelled fresh and clean. Huge vanity in bathroom. Staff members were all very helpful and friendly. Lots of breakfast options. Would highly recommend this property.
After a long drive in from Vegas w/2 lil one's the staff was amazing. Shout out to my front desk gurl and pool security guard y'all made my trip and stay with you memorable Thank you from Las Vegas Tracy
We recently stayed at the Best Western in Apache Junction, AZ. We were absolutely thrilled with our room on the first floor, and it's location near the pool. Actually, the pool was right out our front door! Everything was sparkling clean, and the housekeepers were very thorough. The front desk staff quickly helped with any of our needs, and shared some tips on local things to see and do. The "pool guy" kept the pool spotless, too. We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel was very clean, which helped us to relax. The staff was incredible and kind and helpful. We got some of the best sleep we've ever had in a hotel. The view was absolutely beautiful. Overall it was one if the best hotel experiences we've ever had! I don't understand why there are ANY poor reviews for this hotel...strange, I think some people just like to complain. You'd be hard pressed to find something to complain about here.
Extremely clean room⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Friendly check in⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ample parking⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good continental⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A/C blows cold⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice pool area⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Other amenities-washer and dryer, ice machine, exterior door on lower unit rooms, nice common areas(lobby-main building & eating area)
This was a great little hotel. 30min from the airport. Close to daily conveniences like Starbucks, Safeway/Walmart, gas stations, and to Lost Dutchman State Park, Goldfield Mines, Elvis Presley chapel, etc. Don't forget to check out Tortilla Flats. A small town near Canyon Lake w a population of only 6. Back to the hotel, it has a swimming pool, ample parking, beds are comfy, AC and fridge keeps things cold like yourself and your food. Shower was nice and hot. We didn't get to see what kinds of items they had for present since we pretty much went to Starbucks. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and definitely return again.
Like others have pointed out, not bad for being in the middle of nowhere, so I'm giving them 4 stars. We came over from Albuquerque to visit friends and we needed a place to stay in between Gold Canyon and Tempe. The rooms were large and had a sofa, mini-refrigerator, microwave and large bathroom counter area. Our room was clean. We were on the second floor and there was a small balcony with chairs that was nice. It faced the swimming pool and hot tub. They also have a complimentary breakfast buffet with many options but only cold foods which consisted of burritos Danish pastries fruits cereal and yogurt. Covid has indeed changed a lot of things!!!!
Jason was amazing he made sure we had everything the pool was so clean and well kept. The rooms was very clean and well decorated they have grab and go bag for breakfast easy to check in and out will always choose here
Been here several times, now, and it is still a great place to stay. This time I was situated on the back side (219) and it was a very quiet room, but I miss the balcony of the pool side rooms. My only gripe was the extra light coming into the room from the rear parking security lights. No biggee really, but i would opt for the pool side next time. Great breakfast and a great desk.
This was a nice little Best Western, with a great breakfast! The rooms are no frills, but the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot, the towels are fluffy enough and the a/c works quietly and is easy to adjust. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the pool and the internet, and did I mention the great breakfast?
The staff is very friendly and ready to accommodate. I was there over the weekend of Lost Dutchman's Days so the Hotel was quite full. Would have prefered a downstairs room but they were all booked. I forgot to request in advance. The staff did offer to help bring my luggage up stairs for me but I declined. My room was very nice, clean and comfortable. I was there to meet some friends and we were able to watch the parade from my balcony.
The hotel is small, which was perfect for us. We almost had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. We hiked most of the days there in the Superstition Mountains and came back to a relaxing atmosphere with a patio that opened up to a pool and hot tub. It was very enjoyable and clean, great breakfast, and hood housekeeping.
horribly rude oddly angry and aggressive employees. not trained in guest industry minimums. filthy room they repeated same error 12 times in 12 hours. they had soiled linens in our bath we accidentally handled and they touched our skin! never again soured me on any bw lodging ever. calling corporate
Easy access from Hwy. Clean and good amenities. Have used before, hope to use again. Located near family members that spend winter in this area. Located close to many activities. Enjoy spending time in this area. Great history to explore. No elevator if you have difficulty with stairs/luggage. Breakfast was of good quality and selection.
Great location for Apache junction visit. They do a full buffet breakfast but nothing fancy. Good selection of cereal and a small pool and jacuzzi, free newspaper too. , Virtually no sound proofing though. Ice machine and new arrivals woke me up. Refrigerator wasn't working well and was noisy. No replacement available. But nothing better in Apache junction vicinity.
We came to town for a wedding. This motel was in a great location and very close to everything that we needed. Nice atmosphere, breakfast was good. Staff nice. Asked for a late check out and they were very accomindating.
The architecture of the hotel is beautiful with a great southwest design and the pool area is so nice especially if you have a patio room. Great location if your in the area to enjoy Apache Junction and the surrounding area. Nice to be out away from the metro Phoenix hustle and bustle. My only dislike was with the decorating of the room and hallway. They really need to look at another design scheme for decorating. Hallways were dark grey and black, rooms were brighter walls but very dark carpet that had no good feel at all. Staff was great and very helpful, would consider staying here again.
This hotel was reasonably priced, clean and large rooms. Bonus: heated pool and a hot tub. Also quiet location, away from the busy city, but easy access. Breakfast was nice and varied and very friendly staff
We've stayed at this location often, it is always clean & comfortable. Friendly staff greets you, fresh linens in the room, cold A/C, amazing self-serve breakfast offers many choices. This is a great place for kids as well. I would highly recommend Apache Junction Best Western! (=
We stayed for five nights. The room was very nice, and always taken care of every day. If we had the do not disturb sign out, they never bothered us. The different varieties of food was very good, and things were kept hot that needed to stay hot. Overall, the people that work there were very friendly, and helpful.
My room was clean and well-appointed with a flat-screen TV, microwave and mini-fridge. My particular room had a balcony overlooking the pool which would be nice in cooler weather. Breakfast was included in my room rate and was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff as well.
We stayed one night on our way through AZ. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and professional, AC worked great in the room. Has complimentary parking and breakfast - full breakfast with eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, fruit, etc. Didnt use the pool but it looked clean. Room was quiet. If you're looking for something nice, clean, not too fancy, this hotel will do it for you.
All the employees are very friendly, the breakfast was excellent with a good variety of foods, and the patio was a special surprise. The only negative was there is no freezer in the little fridge. Packed our ice cream in ice but it turned mushy.
Clean and quiet. As a single woman traveling alone I felt safe in this hotel. The check in was fast. Internet access was easy and reliable. Room rate seemed a bit high compared to other hotels in the area but I am more that happy to pay for security and convenience.
Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The pool and hot tub were clean as were the rooms. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was good with a variety the family did enjoy. The other guests seemed like families and work crews.
We found the staff at the Best Western Apache Junction Inn to be helpful and friendly. The room was what I would consider a standard size, adequate for our family of 4. It was clean and comfortable. It was a little loud though, the doors in the building we were in seem to close heavy and there seem to be a lot of activity in the hallway. The pool area is lovely and the kids had a great time. Free breakfast was nothing fancy but was nice to have.
Hotel was convenient to the Lost Dutchman park where many of our family festivities were being held. The inn was recently painted and refurbished so it was very pleasant. Property, including room, was very clean and maintained.
This experience could be compared to a roller coaster ride. Checking in to my room late the first night, I was greeted by a decorative pillow on my bed that had dried in stains, plus other, unidentifiable dried on matter all over the front-facing exterior surface. Totally unsafe & unacceptable (Negative) Improved slightly when experiencing their large amount of selections for breakfast(Positive) Had an issue with a front desk clerk who lied to me that there was no manager or owner ever on-site. (Negative) After pursuing on my own further, I was able to speak with the owner's brother (who I believe is overseeing the hotel operations) and have a solid discussion about my concerns and interactions. He did his best to rectify a very disappointing experience, for the most part. Thanks for that, Don. Errors/mistakes do occur because we are human, but lack of dealing with those types of issues properly, and in a timely manner, is just poor customer service. In my opinion, the staff needs further customer service training.
...well the best one we've stayed in anyway. Very clean, welcoming and helpful staff, comfortable room and certainly the best breakfast we've had in any Best Western. Good base for visiting the Superstition Mountains and the ‘Handlebar Grill and Bar', which is about a quarter of a mile walk away, is an excellent place to eat in the evening. At around £100/$130 inc. tax this particular Best Western offers very good value. The only issue we would raise was with the loud self closing doors...not a good combination with inconsiderate guests leaving in the early hours of the morning.
This was a very nice hotel to stay at. Room was clean. Breakfast was awesome. Many items to choose from. The view of the Superstion Mountains was awesome and breath taking. Didn't use the pool but looked very inviting. High i n price though as it was Spring Training in Arizona and hotels seem to up their prices.
Very good hotel. The only thing lacking was a fitness center. The food is typical hotel food nothing extravagant. The neighborhood was safe as I ran and walked outside. Easy access to restaurants and attractions.
Check-in and out was fast and easy. Grounds were well kept. Room was very clean - bed was super comfortable and slept great both nights. Room came with a small love seat and nice size desk. AC was in good working condition. Full breakfast is served with choices of cereal, fruit, sweet rolls, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, oatmeal, juice, coffee and all very tasty! My family has stayed here once before and we will be back for our next reunion in Apache Junction.
For the area, this was a nice hotel. The lobby area is nice and the breakfast was great but the room was disappointing. There was a distinct odor, the room could have much much cleaner and we had a problem getting room keys to work properly. The bed was very hard. If you are a side sleeper, it becomes painful on hips and joints.
The hotel is located off the main drag in Apache Junction which is very small. It also has the benefit of being across the street from best restaurant in town Handlebar Pub. The hotel is clean and confy plus quiet!
Carpet desperately needs to be replaced, the A/C unit is noisy and poor quality, and it was overall pretty dingy. It was a peak season stay as it was February, but man oh man, for $200 per night, you would think it would be a little nicer.
With friends in the area we chose this hotel. The rooms were decent and the double entry on the lower floor facing the pool was nice. Breakfast was average. Wierd that they had biscuit gravy but no biscuits.
We booked a 4 day stay in a King Suite for a short get-a-way .... the room was clean, breakfast was good each morning, the guy at the counter that drives the red mustang really took care of us well ..... but ..... the "suite" was a large room with a half wall ... under furnished .... lacking in lighting .... the tub and shower are coated on the bottoms with such an abrasive coating as to hurt our feet and make it impossible to sit in the tub ... a large soaking tub.... the hot water surged from wart to scalding and back often ... None of the hallways to the rooms are attached to the lobby giving the feeling of maybe this place is really not that safe .... We stay in BW a lot ... switched from Marriott ... because of the experience we have had ... this just was not a good experience ... to the owner ... visit some other BW's and see what we expect when you advertise a "suite"
Well organized and great customer service with Kohl at the front desk he's amazing and polite. Place is very clean and many people from different states stay at this hotel I was very pleased. This was my 2nd time coming to this hotel and this will be my go to place in the near future without a doubt.
Clean, quiet and most, of not all, rooms have a verandah with two chairs and a table. Ours overlooked the pool area. The breakfast had more choices than most. We really enjoyed our stay. It is one of the best BW we have stayed. The only thing missing was an exercise room. We will stay here again.
We stayed at the Apache Junction Best Western for 4 nights right before Christmas. The staff was very attentive, helpful and very professional. Everyone was kind and cordial. The rooms were well kept and very clean. The breakfast was well laid out and extremely good. The pool and Hot Tub were clean and in great shape. The location is very convenient for visiting family in Apache Junction or for access to hiking trails. A very comfortable place to stay.
Rather expensive, but nice. Friendly staff. We stayed there 3 weeks. Our room had a hallway door as well as an outside door with small patio. Close to restaurants. Quiet. Hot tub was nice. Loved the southwestern decor!
We stay here a couple times a year over the last five years. Never have had a problem helpful staff. We love this location in Apache Junction for visiting the East Valley. Close enough to the 202 for easy travel around the Phoenix east valley area
Hotel is very nice. We commented on how nice it looked as we pulled up. It's as nice on the inside as it appears on the outside. Friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast selection very good. Very satisfied. Definitely would stay there again.
hotel is within a few blocks of the Apache Junction Harley Davidson dealer and it didn't take us long to get to Superstition Mountain. The hotel was well kept and quite. It was easy to get to other Phoenix suburbs.
Very comfortable hotel, clean room, modern finishes and pleasant staff. Stayed here for 2 nights and found it and excellent hotel for the money. Nice pool and rooms overlooking the pool. Free breakfast which included hot and cold items. Convenient location. Also has coin operated laundry for guests use.
Nice people friendly customer service rooms were adequate breakfast was pretty good very peaceful'little hot down there'but overall best western was a nice choice for Apache Junction would stay there again
Excellent checkin / checkout with friendly staff. Room was large with comfortable beds and pillows. Individual balcony with chairs and table was great. Pool / spa area excellent. Breakfast was excellent and included both waffles and pancakes with other hot and cold food. Newspaper available. Plenty of free parking. Stairs to 2nd floor, so if mobility issues, request 1st floor. Food stores close by. Air conditioner and wifi excellent.
A great motel, excellent service great staff. A very friendly atmosphere, highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in the area. Also check out Elvira's restruantacroos the street maybe 1/4 up road great food.
Room was very clean. Breakfast consisted of several options, food was refilled often. Staff was helpful to a family member who needed to change rooms due to physical restrictions. Good value for the money. The stay here was enjoyable.
Great hotel, well maintained, up to date. Thought the hotel was new or newly renovated only to find out it was 20 or so years old. Owners clearly take pride in offering a great value to their guests. Bright and airy lobby and breakfast areas.
This was a very nice, clean hotel. The breakfast had a large variety and very good food. We weren't there long enough to enjoy the pool but maybe next time. It was convenient to gas stations and grocery stores.
First off, the check-in was a breeze! We went to eat first then decided to see the room. We should have went to the room first to turn on the AC. No biggie. Then the a.c. didn't work..oops. I called downstairs and right away someone came up to fix it! I slept all night in The very comfy bed, and three fluffy pillows! The shower was wonderful, the room was clean, and the pool was very refreshing! The Staff here is incredibly sweet, and so very kind. I was 5 minutes late to breakfast and they waited to take it down until I was done with what I needed! What I loved most was the team work effort and communication they have here. I hope they keep up the good work and I will definitely stay here again in my travels!!!
We stayed here 13 years ago and it was terrible, it has very much improved. We usually stay at Best Western but for some time have been flying back and forth. We only needed one night. IT was convincent
You think of these as budget motels but this one is more than that. We have stayed here twice and not been disappointed. Clean, well kept and maintained. So many times you see motels get run down but this one has impressed us both times. Breakfast great and again neat well kept. Staff out there replenishing so nothing ever ran out. When we checked in I had a problem with the TV and called down and within 1 minute the manager was at my door! Wow! ( nothing was wrong with it it was operator error ) I would stay here again if we stay in Apache Junction.
I have stayed at this property many times over the years. The same owners still run the place and keep it clean and comfortable. Beds are comfy and the grounds are well lit and feel secure. Overall a nice facility with good people make it a great value.
We don't frequent this class of hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, the quality of the bed and pillows and the quality of the breakfast. There are two buildings and the one in back is the quieter location. The even-numbered rooms are on the back of that building, away from the pool and furthest from the road. Conveniently located in Apache Junction, the hotel is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Superstition Mountains, Globe and East Phoenix/Metro area.
A very friendly reception by the lady at the desk. She gave us all the necessary information about what is important for the tourist in the area. There is nothing to be said about the room. A spacious and very neat room with even a balcony overlooking the well maintained pool. The only problem is the absence of a lift. We were staying on the top floor and bringing the luggage to the room was a problem for us. But this was immediately solved by an equally friendly gentleman who delivered our luggage in the room. Outstanding service ! At breakfast there is plenty of choice and you can start the day with a full stomach! If in the future we are still in this region, we will not hesitate to book this excellent hotel again.
The hotel was fine, nice staff, comfortable bed/pillows, nice pool, room had a balcony and breakfast was good. Not much in the area as far as restaurants, one night we had mexican, which was a recommendation from the hotel desk clerk, the second we went to Mesa.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this facility it was clean, quite and the staff were very friendly. Staff answered all questions politely and went over and above when addressing the one concern we had. The breakfast was amazing with many options to choose from. The pool area was clean and comfortable
We make a couple of trips to this area each year. We've found that this location works out well for us. It's close to where we need to go and is always clean and comfortable. The staff has always been friendly. The only thing that I can think would make it better is if they had a workout room. For us, it's been a nice place to call "home" for the time we are there.
Very nice and clean hotel. Although it is older it looks new. Staff very helpful and cordial. We were visiting family in San Tan Valley and this was a good location for us. So easy for us to get back on the freeway when we headed home. Very quiet as not close to the freeway.
We have stayed at the Best Western in Apache Junction, AZ for the last 5 years. Would not stay at any other motel. Their staff, cleaniness, and breakfast are always over and above every place we have stayed.
We had to stay there due to some problems at our residence. The room was only average by Best Westerns we have stayed at. What really turned us off was the rudeness of the front desk attendant (weekend) who really didn't seem to want to be there. Not what we have come to experience from Best Westerns. Probably won't go back.
Pleasant stay. Enjoyed the balcony. Liked the fact that breakfast was included. The room was nice and clean. Liked the fact that the parking lot was well lit. I would recommend this Best Western and will stay there again when traveling to Apache Junction.
We stayed here for one night, Oct 31 2017. It's a relatively small hotel, with only 40 rooms, which is nice. There's an outdoor pool, and a very good breakfast buffet included in your room rate. We liked the convenient location on Apache Trail, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again. WiFi was very good in the room.
The room was nice, with a large refrigerator. Free breakfast was provided consisting of a wide variety of food items. Our room had a great view of the outdoor pool and was quite comfortable. We were next to the main entry door in the second building, but not noisy.
This is a great budget hotel. When I found out my company booked me at a Best Western I completely expected the worst but I was pleasantly surprised this place was acceptable. This property is very well maintained and you can tell this owner takes pride in the up keep down to the smallest detail. My room had a nice large refrigerator and a microwave oven, there was also a huge flat screen television. The bed had super soft sheets and smelled fresh and clean, it was also comfortable with lots of big fluffy pillows (I wrote down the manufacturer of the pillow company from the tag I enjoyed them so much.) There is a sparkling clean pool with a jacuzzi. I was very sad I had no time to enjoy it. There is a free full breakfast but frankly the hot food wasn't very good. The eggs were some kind of carton mix. There was "brown and serve sausage" that someone only microwaved and the same thing for the potatoes. That had to be the thinnest bacon I've ever seen. You could make waffles or pancakes and there were plenty of cereals and yogurt. While some may find this delightful, luckily for me Ihop was just down the street. This place is close to Wal-Mart and places to eat. Considering it's a budget hotel I found it was decent.
Our first trip to Arizonia and we really enjoyed ourselves. We think Best Western is an excellent hotel and we will stay again on our return to Apache Junction. We really appreciated the staff at the hotel and the very nice breakfast each morning.
We really enjoyed our few days exploring the nearby Superstition Mountains. The Best Western is convenient and offered a basic room that was clean and comfortable for slightly more than typical rates. The free breakfast was above average with eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, muffins, yogurt and fruit. The internet, however, was very slow. My biggest complaint is with the service. The staff was not terribly helpful. I found the young man at the front desk most of the weekend to be quite snippy.
This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in a month long road trip. This was one of the cleanest rooms. The food was good at in the breakfast room. The people were very helpful we had a problem with our T.V and called the front desk late in the evening and the desk person came with in 5 minutes had it fixed in 3 minutes, good service.
Group gathering very nice stay, good location and good breakfast. Beautiful views and mountains nearby. It would have been nice if the hotel had even a small gym to do a work out. This was a new location for us and we enjoyed
This hotel was above my expectations. Clean, comfortable beds, everything looked brand new. The breakfast choices were plentiful and quite tasty! I would definitely recommend this hotel! The staff was knowledgeable about life cal attractions. Very accommodating and friendly.
Our room had a very musty smell. The room keys required multiple swipes before they would work. We couldn't get the TV to work. At checkout when I mentioned this, the desk clerk said that it was a common problem which was easily fixed by switching some little box off and then back on. it seems like they could put a sign on it with instructions. The desk clerk was anything but concerned about our inconvenience.
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and amenities. It could have been a little cleaner. Found a kid's shoe and two toys next to the bed under the dust ruffle. Good proximity to banks, stores, etc. all within walking distance. Nicely appointed room, with sitting area, ergonomic chair, microwave and good size fridge. Would recommend the location and hotel to families. Nice pool, etc. Extremely generous buffet breakfast, with newspapers and t.v. news to view while eating.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely room, comfy beds, clean and located in a quiet area of town. Breakfast choices included eggs, yummy bacon, biscuits & gravy, cereals, and great coffee! Good value. Will stay here again!
We booked a room here for two nights in order to attend a family wedding at Superstition Manor. The room we got was on the corner by the front parking lot so we were able to park close by and had a small porch that faced the pool. We also had a back door that had access to the hall with the ice machine. Very convenient! Our room was very clean, with comfortable bed/pillows and a small seating area with a sofa, side and coffee tables. The tv was large, and there were bedside tables with lamps, so it was a good-sized room. The bathroom had a full length counter with sink so there was plenty of area for our toiletries. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of items and the breakfast time frame was adequate. We really enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet area without any noticeable traffic, and was the perfect location for us as it was only about a 10 minute drive to the venue. The staff was great too. We will stay there again when we return to visit family. Highly recommended.
Average hotel stay. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately my husband, myself and even my service animal got multiple bites by something in the middle of the night. I had an allergic reaction to whatever I was bit by and had welts all over my body that started appearing one at a time.
Had a HC room. 1.Shower had darks spots in the corners that appeared to be mold. 2. The seat cushion in the shower had black "stuff" around the edges. 3. The sink faucet ran continuously 4. The lamp by the bed closest to the pool door did not work. After checking I found the outlet behind the bed was inop. I moved the lamp cord to a different outlet and it was OK.
We were pleased to find such a clean, comfortable hotel tucked away in dusty Apache Junction. There aren't many motels or hotels there. This one is a gem. It has a pool and the breakfasts included in the price are terrific!
Very clean rooms and pool was just as clean. Breakfast was as good as any motel we have stayed at and kept up with very well. All in all a very nice place to stay. Highly recommended. We got there early and requested an early check in and was given it with no hesitation whatsoever. Very friendly staff.
We were in town for a wedding. The room and it's amenities were perfect. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had plenty of vanity space. There was an iron and ironing board, fridge and microwave in the oven that were all appreciated by us. The TV and internet service is good and the breakfast the next morning was impressive.
Standard room with usual amenities.Nice pool area , clean pool, tepid water which was nice. Room clean , no issues. Breakfast fine for our needs. Air conditioner noisey, but turned off oveenight . Area hotel is in is fine. Would recommend this hotel.
The beds were a little on the firm-ish side, but the pillows were sooo comfy! The bathrooms are oversize & wonderful. Cold A/C was very welcome. The breakfast had so many choices, all food fresh & hot. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel & stay here again.
This was like walking into my best friends home - the staff was so friendly, called the room to be sure we had what we needed. Room was clean, coffee always available. I would stay here again - we had a service dog, and it was not problem.
This hotel was very clean and quiet- altho we were here on off season. But the breakfast offered was very expansive- lots of variety of things/ hot and cold items. The property is very near touristy things/ like superstition mt , goldfield ghost town.
very nice hotel . wont think twice about going back. rooms have everything and a great pool!!!!! a lot to see and do in the area and yet its still close to the airport. the area was quiet and there are all kinds of restaurants near by even a Walmart, walgrens and a dairy queen for those hot, hot evenings
We love being close to the mountains for hiking and to stay in a quite area. The room's are nice, breakfast in the morning. Pool and hot tub to relax. Not far from churches, mall, restaurants and grocery stores.
I've stayed here before and it was great then. It's still a very comfortable and quiet place to stay on the fringes of the Phoenix metro area. The room was clean and comfortable and very well air conditioned! Arta is a gem at the front desk. The breakfast selection was extensive and plentiful. This hotel is an excellent spot to lay your head after a long day of living. Thank you!
We loved our stay in this Best Western hotel. It has nice Southwestern decor, great air conditioning, wonderful beds, and a fabulous breakfast buffet. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.
When my husband and I visit the family in the valley, this is the place we chose to stay. It's a nice neighborhood, clean and comfortable rooms, and the staff is friendly. It's away from the hustle of the city.
We checked in very late. We were nicely greeted, and received a ground floor room with the BW Rewards amenities. The room was prepared, AC on, and we had a quiet night's rest. The Breakfast was fine, and the later closing time allowed for us to still eat even though we had arrived so late. The staff confirmed our late check-out and all went smoothly.
The only negative I have is the scrambled eggs, they tasted like powereded eggs & for me, the bacon was a bit undercooked. Overall the experience was a favorable one! I have stayed at this hotel and my experience this time was better than my previous stay.
We were heading to Sedona with a stopover in Apache Junction to explore the Superstition Mountains. This hotel is in a PERFECT location for a quick day trip up to Goldfield Ghost Town and beyond, along the beautiful Apache Trail drive. After a long drive into Arizona from Socal we were happy for a quick, efficient and friendly check in. We had requested a second floor room and despite having to navigate the stairwell we were happy with our choice. Our room had a resort-like view of their well maintained pool area, sadly we didn't have time to enjoy it. The room was basic but extremely clean, as was the entire property. We travel a lot and stay at quite a few Best Westerns and I must say this was one of my favorites, I found it to be VERY comfortable and relaxing. If you're coming to this area to explore be sure to give yourselves a few days as there is a lot to see and do, one day was not enough for us. In closing I'd like to thank the friendly staff and send out props to the housekeepers. I would recommend Best Western Apache Junction. Now, off to the BW in Sedona.
Hotel is clean, quiet and the pool area was convenient to our room. Pool is a pleasant temperature and never seems overcrowded. Breakfast, while its the same everyday, offers a fair amount of options. Dining area is very clean.
Great stay. Comfortable bed. Room was spacious. Great breakfast with hot and cold food. Location was safe and quiet. Staff was helpful and courteous. Would definitely stay there again. I recommend this hotel.
I came for the Country Thunder event. The BW Apache Junction was close enough and the pricing was great. Good place to stay for business or pleasure. It;s an hour from Phoenix and right next to the Superstition Mountains. Lots to do and this hotel's in the middle of everything!
Everything about this stay was wonderful. The breakfast staff were attentive and friendly. I can't say enough about this hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer! This was almost the same as staying on a cruise ship. The staff were invisible unless you needed something and everything was clean and comfortable.
Being final four weekend, we paid $180 per night. Checked in about 8:30 and was given a room on the second floor. Asked where the elevators were and was told there were none. While not handicapped, we both have problems with stairs. I asked for a room on the first floor and was told not available. Made it to the room to find TV didn't work. Called front desk and was told someone would be right there. Nobody ever came. Asked at front desk the next morning and was told to try unplugging the cable box and letting it reset. This worked but don't know why front desk couldn't have told me that the night before. But not everything was bad. The room was well apportioned, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. I might have given a higher rating had the room been $80 instead of $180.
A clean reasonable place that is well maintained - the nicest spot in a working class area. Our high school baseball team was staying in a house nearby and this was the closest hotel. It is not Scottsdale, but the staff does a good job to provide a good experience.
This is your basic Best Western. The rooms are clean. The air conditioning is very loud in the room. My biggest comment though is that this hotel is so overpriced it is ridiculous. I paid $189 per night on a weekend. Unfortunately there are not a lot of options if you have to stay in this area. There was a festival near the hotel so perhaps they jacked up their prices for the festival. Nevertheless, I would never stay here again.
The Best Western Apache Junction Inn was a nice place to stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property was well maintained and made us think of a resort. The lobby area was inviting, the pool area was clean, and the room was spacious. We even had a balcony off of our second story room. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone, whether you're passing through the area or hanging out for the week.
My son and I stayed here while visiting my parents. It was clean and well maintained. The pool was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing. The staff/manager were very helpful. The area around the hotel is a bit loud, but nothing that would make me change to a different hotel.
This was a decent hotel to stay at. The price was fair for the room I received. Everything about the hotel (inside and out) was very clean. The lighting on the outside (perimeter, parking, and pool areas) was good--did not feel unsafe anywhere. The person at the front desk was very friendly and efficient both at check-in and check-out. I don't sleep well in hotels because of noise. My room had a typical heating/cooling unit that was loud to me (may have been normal to others). Luckily, the weather was comfortable enough I did not need to run it at all. However, the refrigerator starting making a noise on my 2nd night that was like someone tapping their fingernail on a table constantly. Unfortunately, I forgot to say something about that at check-out. You wouldn't hear it if you sleep with the heating/cooling unit on or the TV on, but for someone like me who prefers silence, it seemed loud to me. If those typical hotel noises do not bother you, then I think you will be very happy with this place.
Spent a week at the Best Western in Apache Junction. Room was clean, comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. We had a room near the swimming pool with an outside door, which is really nice. Great place to have your morning coffee.
We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this BW. We are members and have stayed at a few of their locations in different states. This property did an excellent job with keeping up the premises in great condition. The breakfast had a good variety to choose from. I liked the waffles in particular. It really helps to save on costs when you get breakfast included. The staff kept everything well stocked and replenished. They had a decent size pool and whirlpool to relax in. Our room was well done with everything that you needed. From a microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, refrigerator, super size TV and a great AC unit that ran without that noise when it kicked on. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the end, 217. Very quite and made for a great night sleep. The bed was comfortable. There was also a nice patio where you can sit out and enjoy overlooking the pool. The exterior of the place was painted professionally and looked clean. The stairwells were also spotless. In our careers in working at resorts, this was an indication of the level of cleanliness that the hotel has. You can tell the owners took pride in keeping everything to high standards. We will definitely return if we are in this area again. The distance to the attractions that we wanted to see were closer than we thought. We loved Canyon Lake and the Superstition Mountain area. Overall a very nice stay!
It met all the needs I had at the time. I was staying there because my mother had just gotten out of the hospital so it was close to her home. Checkout should be later, maybe noon for those that need just a bit extra time.
The room was very nice. hotel staff was the worst I've ever experienced from anywhere. the night I arrived took over 30 min to get the attention of the front desk employee. once he showed up he was in a sloppy t-shirt, short and socks, he checked me in with record time as if I was disturbing his evening. once he gave me my key he walked away and left the counter. The day of my checkout, my daughter was sick, had to take her to urgent care. I called the front desk explained my situation and asked if I can check out later. the guy said "1 more hour is all I can give you" then hung up on me. Worst staff ever from a BW hotel.
Our main problem was the assistance in the front desk he was to rude very rude. The bathrooms were dirty tube had nasty film on it, toilet was stained and floor had hair all over it. Never we will stay there. or book a family friends stay for a wedding or reunion aginn
Very kind welcome by the employees. Clean rooms. Same standard as 5 years ago. Maintenance of the hotel is good (except the "plumbing and electricity", but this is a general problem in the USA. Even a hotel we paid 450 $ a night in Jackson WY presented the same poor and old installation. BW Apache Junction is a really good hotel.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Room was very clean, comfortable and the and the associates of the motel were very friendly and helpful. I had stayed here before and didn't hesitate to return and I will stay here again. Each stay was for 3 days.
A great place to stay in central Apache Junction and reasonably priced. The bed was quite comfortable and the staff friendly. There are many restaurants in the area and local attractions(museums and ghost towns).
We went to go play and explore in the Superstition Mountain area and this hotel was close and convenient to everything that we wanted to go do. A wide variety of stores, restaurants, and gas gas stations were all just minutes away. Clean, quiet, friendly helpful staff. Just a nice place to stay. Would definately stay here again if we return to the area.
The pool was wonderful! Great location to all the sights in AJ. The breakfast items could have been a little better. I have stayed at other BW hotels and the quality is usually a little better. But other than that, the hotel was great.
This is not a new hotel but everything is well maintained and clean. Absolutely no complaints about the room. About 30 minutes after checking in we received a call from the front desk asking if everything was alright and did we need anything? When my wife went to the pool the manager asked if she needed anything, towels, a table,... Pride of management also showed in the breakfast room, the food was replenished constantly and the room was kept very clean. Highly recommended.
Staff was accommodating and the room was comfortable with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Decent, clean room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was a little "tired" but overall just fine and a nice addition to our stay.
I've been watching the rates at this hotel, and many times when I needed to stay out in the far east valley, it has been booked. I think it is because of it's location. It is one of a few hotels in Apache Junction. I arrived late as always, and was greeting nicely. I went straight to my room. I'm sorry, but it had that weird old hotel smell. I got over it after a few minutes though. I was too tired to care. The room was clean and comfortable. Mine was on the second floor, so it was a trip up stairs. I don't know if there was an elevator. The day had been 115+ degrees so the room was hot when I arrived, but the air conditioner was powerful and brought the temp down quickly. The best part of this room was it's private balcony. I wish I had time to sit out there and enjoy a sunrise or sunset. I left too early to eat breakfast. This is a good hotel to get a good night's rest. I slept well, and it was quiet.
Our room was right outside the very well maintained pool - the hotel staff was accommodating and polite. We had breakfast in the lobby our first morning and it was adequate for what it was - scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage/sweet rolls, juice, coffee, cereal - etc ... nothing special made - but good -
Wasn't expecting much but the place was great ...Clean and newly renovated spacious rooms. Lovely pool area and the breakfast was fantastic for a free breakfast! Hot food served in a nice clean environment.
Ended with a handicap room with a patio by the pool. Loved it. Close to the office, where we sat to relax. Close to breakfast, which was very good. Clean place. Friendly staff. Can print out your air flight boarding passes. Snack machines filled with cookies, crackers and candy. There was a pop and water machine too.
Nice place and our room was really quite. Pool was warm and no one was in there. Breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, toasts, yogurt, etc. Really good. We would stay there again since it was close to Superstition Mountain (great hiking).
I was expecting a run down town with a very basic motel. Was I wrong! Apache Junction was very nice town, and the motel was excellent. It was a perfect location for our drive through the Apache Trail. The room and grounds were a scale above some of the others we have stayed. It had everything we needed - all the amenities and a comfortable bed. There was also laundry facilities. We had a room by the pool, which was a little noisy, but we didn't hear anything once we went to bed. They served a very nice, hot breakfast with a variety of other items. We were very pleased and would recommend this motel.
We were very pleased with our stay at the Best Western Apache Junction. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. The location was very good for all of the different directions we were going during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we found ourselves in the Apache Junction area.
Clean rooms and common areas. Second floor rooms have a balcony. Nice pool area and very clean water. Excellent breakfast buffet including eggs and waffles. Hotel is In walking distance to restaurants.
Nothing special, just a plain hotel. the pool and hot tub are small than they look in pictures. The staff is not real friendly, I don't think they like their job. The breakfast was really good, waffles, meat, eggs, potatoes, breads, fruit, cereals, juice, coffee and yogurts.
This was a very nice hotel. Rooms were clean, Staff was friendly. Excellent breakfast. The manager was very helpful in getting us into our room early. Pool was very clean and well kept up. Thank you for making our stay in Apache Junction a good one.
My daughter love staying here when we go to Country Thunder every year. The rooms are clean, it's quiet, the pool is clean and inviting, and we enjoy making the waffles in the morning with the free breakfast. The staff has always been very nice and friendly and it is close to shopping and the freeway.
This hotel is very clean and quiet. It has the best hot breakfast of any hotel you could choose, We stay here about twice a year when visiting family and shopping for our home in New Mexico. You will enjoy it.
The place was clean and descent and the breakfast was ok as well. Sad that we stayed in room 211 which advertised a fold out sofa for my two girls and arrived to realize it was a small twin which didn't work for us. Also there was a gas station type sick in the living room?!?! Paid $190 to stay the night and for that price I think we will stick to our residence inn where it is more comfortable and upscale. The prices are similar!! Friendly just needs a big price drop for me to stay there again.
Bed was comfortable. We had a discounted room, so our room did not have a patio - was disappointed. The patios look out on nice grounds and pool area. Overall, it was a comfortable stay - we were pleasantly surprised by the generous complimentary breakfast - all the typical continental breakfast items PLUS delicious scrambled eggs, bacon, tater tots, biscuits & gravy and waffles!
This hotel is very close to where my son lives. it is clean and comfortable for the purpose of sleeping as I am mostly at my son's house during the day. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you need anything. Breakfast is pretty good too.
My girlfriend and I stay here to get away for the evening from my parents after we drove up to Sedona. Both the pool and room were great and we will stay again, this was our second time. Like that its away but not too far out there.
Ok place to stay, but way over priced. Location is So-So. Breakfast was very good, Nice selection. No handle bars in the bath. Tub very slippery for us older folks. Could hear people in the hallway all night.
We were in the area for a family emergency, necessarily distracted and distraught. The desk agent was most helpful in ensuring that our timeline, which was uncertain, was accounted for. The hotel itself is a very nice property, far enough away from Phoenix to maintain some small town charm.
Flat screen and HD channels (including ALL of the sport channels) set this place above most of the others. Super clean and quiet. I stay upstairs anyway, but I didn't notice anyone coming up the stairs (or down). Nicely appointed rooms and a nice view of the Superstition mountains from your balcony. I slept like a baby on the bed!
Enjoyed our stay here. The rooms seemed clean and the breakfast had great options. Had trouble with our shower going from normal temp to scalding hot intermittently which got to be annoying. The hot tub seemed a little outdated and the jets seemed to not work properly. Not too much around the hotel in walking distance.
One of the best free breakfasts - you get eggs, either bacon or sausage, waffle machine, various breads, danish, and muffins, cereal, bananas, and various toppings for cereal. Hotel is nice, especially for Apache Junction. I wouldn't stay at any other hotel in AJ. It is well kept, clean, and staff is helpful. Be aware there are no elevators, but only two floors.
Nice room good service! They were quick to help in our reservation and the room was clean & nice. We had to wait until 3 to check in but that was not an issue for us. The breakfast was good. We didn't use the look but others were & it looked nice. All in all great experience!
Stayed 3 nights with a group of friends and we all liked the hotel. Nice location, great pool and hot tub area, fantastic free breakfasts. Lots of warm and cold breakfast options. Easy walking to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay there again. I would have rated this a 5 but our room had a slight wet/mold smell at first but got better once we opened the window.
There are not many choices of hotels in Apache Junction, but I feel selected the best one. The rooms were clean and my sons enjoyed the small, but nice outdoor pool. I felt there was a good selection of options for breakfast in a nice area by the lobby.
In east Phoenix metro area there are not many hotels because it is RV land and where the snowbirds go. So when you visit your friends there, you need a good decent place to stay. The BW in Apache Junction was just the right place to stay to visit our RV wintering over friends. It is a very nice hotel in a good shape and close proximity to our friends in the RV parks, and a good value. The home made breakfast eggs were delicious..
The jetted tub is only for 5' tall people or less. Tried to talk to the manager 3 different times and he or she was never there. I was treated like a criminal at checkout, door was locked and a small window to talk through, never had to do that before. I am a silver member so this was for sure not my first stay at a Best Western, but this first time being treated like crap.
This was a very nice experience, staying at this hotel. It was very clean, well taken care of, friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay. The price was also very low when you consider the quality and extras you receive. I give it a two thumbs up !
This is an older hotel with no elevators but we had a poolside first floor. We had an outside and inside door so the poolside door was convenient to our car as well as the main office. The main office/breakfast area are not connected to the inside halls so you have to go outside to get there and if the weather is questionable, it is not pleasant. There are not very many hotels in this area so this is probably the best in the area and it turned out fine. If needed to go back to the area, we would probably use this hotel again.
The room was pristine clean, no smells, big comfortable bed & all the usual toiletries you expect. Breakfast is probably one of the best even compared to fancier hotels. There was hot food, fruit in abundance fresh of course, everything you would expect for a breakfast in pleasant little dining area. The only issue we had was a noisy fridge in the room which I bet they fixed the day I reported it. I did this as we left since it didn't stop us sleeping but they were so apologetic it's fixed by now I bet. Now there is no elevator & it has a 2nd floor. This normally stops me giving a hotel 5 stars but the rest of this hotel is so good it deserves its rating. They did ask if we were OK with the 2nd floor. However an outdoor swimming pool & high speed free internet more than makes up.
Uncomfortable bed-floor lamp a/b to fall over-sheets had holes-outside light shone right into room, no full window curtain to block out light-no elevator to 2nd floor-had to go outside motel to get into breakfast area & office. On the plus side. Room was quiet for night time-office help was good-continental breakfast was good.
The location of this hotel was perfect for us as we were visiting my snow-bird inlaws in Apache Junction. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was actually a real breakfast: eggs, sausage waffle maker oatmeal, rolls, bagels, etc. It was very good. It was nice having a fridge in the room and the shower worked well . We received extremely good service from Val at the front desk. She was very helpful and patient. To me that makes all the difference in the overall experience of a hotel stay. We will probably stay here again when we visit next year. The only downfall was it was a little pricey, but maybe it was the time of year we went. Another thing that might have been bad if the weather was not good is our room was in a separate bldg from the lobby/dining area so you had to go outside to get there...didn't bother us though.
I enjoy staying at this hotel because it is close for my business dealings. It is clean and well kept. My difficulty is with the staff that checks you in and out. The young man named Sam is not friendly. It is obvious that he does not want to be there. Honestly, he is the only problem I have.
This is a great hotel to stay at while I visit my son and his family as I am allergic to their cats. it has clean rooms and pretty comfortable beds. I really love the pillows. The breakfast is good and it sure makes it nice not to have to worry about finding somewhere to eat or asking my daughter in law to cook.
Our first stay here, and would Definitely stay there again! Staff was very friendly! Nice breakfast included with room. Pool area very clean, warm pool too! We used it in the evening, with cooler temps. Comfortable beds too.
A pride of management is clear to see at this facility. Even breakfast, is fussed over and kept stocked and cleaned constantly. The pool and hot tub were a dream. It would be nice if they had a monthly rate. All the king suite would need would be a chest of drawers. We will return here in a heart beat.
The dedication of the owner and staffs is evident from check in to check out. Everything is clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub alone are worth coming for. Breakfast was very good and with the food replenished and the room cleaned constantly. It would be nice if they had a monthly rate and a chest of drawers the King Suite. We did have to go down the street to find a Wall Street Journal. We will return in a heartbeat.
This is our second stay at this property. Again it is VERY clean and accommodating. Pool and hot tub are immaculate as well as the grounds. Room is pleasant and comfortable. Bed was a little too firm. Breakfast is pretty good with a decent variety. Would recommend
We stayed for only one night. The room smelled and was very outdated especially for the price. It was in a good location but I would look for a newer hotel. Everything is very close like Gold Canyon or even Mesa is 18 miles so if you are just sight seeing look for another. We would not stay here again.
Ok best western. Good location to day trips we wanted to take. Clean room. Motel is old and did not have elevator. Glad there was extra blanket. Good location to the few good resturants in town. Blah, blah, blah.
We rented this room for my sister and her husband. It was a bigger room with king bed with jet tub and pull out couch. It was very comfortable. It had a deck with 2 chairs over looking the pool. We also had a 2 queen room which also had a little deck over looking the pool. You could watch the beautiful sunrise from the deck. It was nice and quiet and clean. The breakfast was great with eggs and bacon and all the rest.. I would have liked an earlier breakfast. They start serving at 6:30 and 5:30 would have been better for us. Sam was great doing all the extra things we asked for. We would stay here again.
We wish we could have had a sunnier room (in January), facing the Pool (which was heated! Rooms spacious and good. As the Football was on ,on TV and loud, we had to share the neighbouring rooms' cheers.. Room with connecting door to be avoided! Breakfast (with waffles) was generous.
This was our second time that we have stayed at this hotel and found it to be very comfortable, clean, excellent location for our needs and friendly staff. The king size bed was very comfortable and the refrigerator/microwave came in handy. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area. Our only complaint was the breakfast. It was not the best that we have had at Best Western. The hot items were cold and had to microwave them before eating and I am diabetic and there wasn't much that I could eat. I feel hotels need to consider diabetics as they need more healthier foods to eat. Yogurt should be low fat/low sugar, diet cranberry juice or diet apple juice, hard boiled eggs or egg whites/egg beater scrambled. Sugar free syrups, sugar free jams, etc. Not everyone can eat gravy, bacon, regular eggs and heavy foods. Just a thought. Ended up going to Ihop instead.
This motel was a great value for the price. The lobby was immaculate and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The breakfast that was included in the price was adequate and quite good. Even though the motel is located on a main road in Apache Junction, we had no issues with noise. The pool area appeared well-maintained, although we did not use it, given the time of year and lack of time we had. Staff was courteous. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.
We drove up on our way to fly out of Phoenix and wanted to stay by the mountains. This hotel is beautiful decorated in a rustic western decor. They have a nice hot breakfast included with the rJon rate. I would definitely stay here again.
The room and breakfast were great. The room was very clean and the breakfast items were fresh and followed up upon well by the staff. My only issue with the hotel is the layout. I couldn't find the elevator if there was one, there is no way to get to the lobby without going outdoors (not much of a problem in AZ weather usually), and the stairways were not distinctive enough for me to remember which way to go out for which end of the hotel.
Conviently located on Apache Trail road. Several good restaurants nearby. Room was large, clean and comfy. Large TV with frig and microwave. Everything was spotless. Fluffy towels and washcloths, with extra set. Pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Outside night temp. was around 50 degrees but pool was great. Must be heated. Full breakfast and Breakfast room was clean. Night shift hotel clerk was friendly and helpful. Will stay again.
It is the only national chain motel in town! We had a non-smoking room first floor room in the rear and was very quite at night. Found the bathroom spotless. They provide Pantene toiletry items. Large flat screen TV with lots of channels. Air dryer and ironing in room. We stayed here because we went to the Arizona Opry about 2 miles from the motel (see my separate review on Opry). Pool is not heated is December. They provide a free breakfast that was not just Continental style you find in many motels. Close to all the Apache Trail attractions. Rooms do not have safes only lock-boxes in office. They offer AAA & AARP discounts.
We have stayed at this location numerous times over the past seven years. The quality and service is consistent. The location is quiet. The breakfast is excellent. This hotel will remain our choice for our annual golf trips to Arizona.
We were traveling with a group of 33 people for pleasure. Our reservations were made in advance. They were very kind over the phone and very kind when we arrived, mingled, checked out, etc. a great place for our group.
Stayed while visiting Superstition Mountains. would stay again, met excpectations for a Best western but cost 30 dollars more than the one in Flagstaff!. other than that, clean, nice, heated pool and breakfast.
We loved staying here while we visit Goldfield Ghost Town. Thank you for the wonderful service and food. Rooms clean, bed was very comfortable for a goodnight sleep. I would stay at this hotel again. Safe Place and very good service.
went to visit my wifes parents who recently bought a place in Arizona and we stayed at the Best Western. This was overall our best experience with Best Western. Very clean facility and friendly staff.
Comfortable, clean, easy accessibility to room, pool, hot tub. Great breakfast selection and quality of food. Great for handicapped access. Shower was easily handicapped accessible, too. The room actually had room to move around. Great TV, internet and overall quality.
We stay at a lot of different Best Westerns, and this one did not disappoint. Good breakfast presentation, very comfortable bed and pillows and the quietness of the rooms. The only drawback was cable tv........I'm so used to DirectTV. Even though the cable lineup was good, it is out of date without NBC an CBS sports channels. Overall, though, it was a nice stay for me! A good homebase to visit the Superstition mountains.
Clean with nice amenities. Staff was ultra friendly. Large rooms and comfortable. Conveniently located. Pet friendly. Pool was clean and maintained. New washer & dryer available. More than a regular continental breakfast, lot of good food and hot coffee. Two doors which is nice.
It's been about 30 years since I stayed at a Best Western Hotel, but for sure, I will be staying often from now on. Loved the friendliness of the staff, the comfortable bed, spotless room, and best of all the value! For sure, Best Western will be my hotel of choice from now on.
Was a pleasant hotel. Rooms were clean, slightly worn. Had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Price was reasonable. Breakfast the next morning was good, nice selections. Front desk clerk (a lady didn't get her name) was very nice both at check in and check out.
Very nice comfortable rooms with fridge/microwave. Very comfy beds. Breakfast was included and is particularly nice with many items hot and cold to choose from. nice pool, friendly staff. Very clean. Very close to shopping center/mall and many restaurants. Great view of mountains!
We had an emergency trip to AJ early this month. Staff and managers very accomodating! Rooms were clean and breakfast was excellent! Thank u for getting us in and taking care of us. Wifi was very good too so we could keep in contact with people home in Wisconsin.
My husband and older brother stayed at this hotel and couldn't believe how nice and comfortable the hotel was. The walls were freshly painted, new carpet, nice decor on the walls, big flat screen TV and lots of extras like a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, coffee and tea. We had a small porch outside our room with chairs and a table. Our room was next to the pool. The lobby was really nice and cozy and the staff there were so nice and accommodating. We would stay there again! The room was reasonably priced also
