"Disneyland Vacation 2018"

5
18/09/2018

1st time checking out the BWPA. It did not disappoint. Short walk across the street every morning and the continental breakfast top notch. My family of 5 ate out on the terrace each morning before we headed into the park. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub even though the pool was a bit small. It was vacant when we went to use it as most were in the park so it worked out. Room was plenty big for my family of 5 with 3 teenagers with a rollaway bed. You may want to request a larger room or suite in advance. Found out they offer these types of rooms after already booked. Then had to call every day up to the time we arrived. Everything else was perfect and thanks for a great stay. Will be back again.

"Great location!"

18/09/2018

This is the best location for Disneyland as it's right across the street, and take five minutes to get to the gates from the hotel. The staff was excellent, and seemed to want to serve. The breakfast was really good, and had lots of variety of hot and cold items. The room was pretty spacious, but the A/C unit didn't work very well. (The fan worked, but the actual A/C didn't kick in.) The WiFI was pretty slow (~2 Mbps), but we weren't there much, anyway.

"Grad Trip 2018"

18/09/2018

I stayed here with my daughter and our friends for her Grad Trip to Cali and Disneyland. Staff were helpful and friendly. Love the layout of the room - sink and mirror outside the toilet/shower room, which is very helpful with 4 girls trying to get ready. Comfy beds and surprisingly quiet rooms. Pool on the small side but very clean. Breakfast is way better than most - HUGE selection and always re-filled. We loved the fact that we were a 5 min walk to the front gates. And while parking at the hotel is limited, it is free which is awesome! Will def be back

"Perfect for Disneyland! 7 years running."

17/09/2018

This is the perfect home base for a short Disneyland Trip. We generally visit 3 nights in Dec, and don't need a suite or pool (although they have both). We are happy with the breakfast room they revamped/expanded several years ago, and the short walk to the parks. Free parking is also a wonderful feature. Nice to know the parking is tight, and limited. But once parked, we vernally don't need the car again during our trip. There are several connivence stores to visit if needed with more than your average milk and soda. And a target roughly one mile away. We find this hotel clean, convenient and well priced. We just booked out next stay, making this 8 years in a row we have chosen this location for our Disneyland get away. My husband has even had birthday cupcakes delivered here for me, and the front desk staff was excellent at keeping them chilled and a secret!

"Highly recommend"

04/09/2018

I was pleasantly surprised, extremely surprised with the location. I thought we were farther down the road, so was really happy that we were pretty much across the street. The breakfast was great. The hotel was very nice and super clean. Very happy with the pool. Very enjoyable.

If you want to go to Disneyland and stay close by, this hotel may work for you. I am a business traveler and have stayed near Disneyland in the past at different brands of hotels and been content with the experience. This hotel doesn't have sufficient parking so they allow cars to park in areas that make the regular parking spots hard to get into and out of. I had a room with two beds which had a table and two chairs crammed in against one of the beds - there was absolutely no room for that. If I had needed the second bed, I would have had to put the table and chairs outside of the room! The room seemed newly remodeled, but it was not very clean. For business travel, I would not recommend this hotel unless you need to be in walking distance to Disneyland for your business meeting.

Thank you for completing your survey regarding your recent stay at our property. It's really unfortunate that you were disappointed by the size and general layout of the rooms at our property. We did just remodel all the rooms in hopes that everyone would enjoy the new decor. We sincerely hope you found accommodations which met your expectations on the rest of your trip. We hope to see you on your next trip to Anaheim.

"Needs updating"

27/08/2018

My son and I stayed 3 nights August 20 through 24. If you are just looking for a place to crash it works. Did not sleep well since the beds were very lumpy and the pillows had no support. The one positive is the free hot breakfast.

"Good - two bedroom family room, in excellent location for Disneyland"

24/08/2018

We choose this hotel for location - when leaving Disneyland at 11.45pm exhausted and tired, we were grateful for this decision. It is across the road from the entrance and only a five minute walk away. Our room was a two bedroom family suite, great for four of us - one room was a twin double bed and the other a double bed. The hotel offers a breakfast but we popped into Denny's next door. Extremely convenient location, easy parking, free until 6pm on day of check out and pleasant, welcoming, front desk staff.

"Convenient first time stay"

19/08/2018

Having stayed at several of the hotels right close by would say this is slightly better than several, but not not super fancy. The front desk was helpful and accommodating. We stayed in a regular room for one night in which the AC really struggled to keep up. We moved to the suite for the other 3 nights which was much nicer and more updated and convenient. It was because of this room I gave the rating I gave. Breakfast was included with good variety. I think the other best western right by is just a little nicer.

17/08/2018

Clean, nice, convenient although the air conditioning was pretty noisy. Breakfast was really basic but for visiting Disneyland this was a very good choice! We liked the idea that you can walk from the hotel directly to Disney also the woman in the reception was very helpful by suggesting us to be there at 08:00

This hotel was perfect for our needs. RIGHT across from the entrance to Disneyland with a lovely breakfast included (saved us from spending so much as soon as we entered the park for food) The room we had was huge, clean and the beds were very comfortable. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and polite which is a Godsend when you've had a bad first day after an 11hr flight.

29/07/2018

We were very impressed by this great Best Western hotel! We stayed 7 nights for our family vacation. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. Rooms were recently remodeled, clean, and looked great! Beds were very comfortable. Pool was clean and refreshing. Best of all was the WONDERFUL hot breakfast buffet. We loved the variety of food and the cleanliness of the breakfast area. We enjoyed sitting on the outside balcony for breakfast. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk across the street to the main entrance to Disneyland! Parking was free. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely return to the Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn!

This is a great place located minutes from the entrance to Disney Parks. The room was clean. The beds were super comfy. The continental breakfast options were awesome. The dining room was very clean and well kept. The dining room staff was constantly aware of depletion of items and they would soon replace them. The pool was also decent size and clean. We will definitely stay here again.

"Great Location"

26/07/2018

This was a fantastic location for visiting Disneyland, being a minute walk along the road to where you cross the road into Disney and CAP. Was great for popping back for an afternoon swim in a basic pool (or the small hot pool) - all we needed. Breakfast was great - a huge variety including healthy and not so healthy options, allergy alternatives, low sugar options, hot food... anything you could need! There is a laundry on site which was very handy for our last day before heading onto more destinations. We noticed the air con was quite loud, but it didn't bother us too much when we got used to it. Our room was perfect for our family of 3, although you spend very little time in it when visiting the theme parks, so it just needed to be a great location, and that it was. Would definitely stay here again.

"Great Disneyland spot"

16/07/2018

I booked this hotel through Costco travel for our Disneyland vacation. After reading some review, it was a toss up, but I couldn't beat the 5 minute walk to security check, free breakfast, wifi, and free parking. We got there about 130, and checkin wasnt until 3, but we got into a room about 2. The parking is a little hectic at times, but in the evening we were able to park in front of our room. I would definitely recommend this place!

15/07/2018

We've stayed at MANY of the good neighbor hotels, and this one is great! Great location, across the street to the main gates. The outside pool was okay. Amazing breakfast! The selection was vast, from pancakes to breakfast burritos, doughnuts to cold cereal. Room was very clean. We were on the bottom floor near the pool and didn't have any noise issues. We even were able to see the fireworks from our room.

We had a good stay and experience in this hotel because it is very convenient especially when you and your family want to visit Disneyland and California Adventure. It is primarily a walking distance tk this fair and nothing more you can compare to others when talking about the cost per night of stay.

12/07/2018

I stayed here with my two teen boys in July 2018 for 2 nights while we visited Disneyland and California Adventure. We had a very easy and quick check-in. We arrived at noon and although our room wasn't ready, we parked our car and headed to the parks which is a 5 minute walk to bag check-in. We were greeted by very friendly staff, given our parking tag for our car and told our room would be ready by 3. The room was much bigger than most regular hotel rooms. It has a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. It was cute and nicely appointed. We didn't use the small pool but it appeared very clean. I always witnessed staff cleaning and greeting guests. There was a gardener always busy making the grounds attractive. The breakfast room is very large, clean and the food plentiful. There were waffles, scrambled eggs and egg patties for breakfast sandwiches, various meats, cereal, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs and pastries. As well as coffee, milk and juices. I was very pleased with our stay. There are many dining places nearby (We ate lunch at Tony Romas and a late dinner at Subway) as well as many stores like Walgreens and CVS. It was a very quick walk to the parks and Downtown Disney. I would stay here again if we make our way back to Disneyland.

"Fantastic location for Disneyland"

09/07/2018

We are very happy with this hotel. The location was fantastic for Disneyland and California Adventure Park. It is close enough that you can go back to the hotel for a nap or to get jumpers when the night cools down at the parks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit dated, but were clean and plenty of room for 5 of us (we had a 2 room suite). Hotel also had pool and laundry which was very convenient for a family. Breakfast was included which meant we could head over to the parks nice and early. And you could see a lot of the nightly fireworks from the top floor of the hotel!

08/07/2018

Pretty average hotel rooms. Knowledgeable helpful staff. Still a fairly long walk to Disney. Shuttle available for around $3 for a week. Great pool and hot tub. We had a Denny's breakfast voucher included, which was fantastic. The Disney tickets purchased at reception were the cheapest in town.

"Perfect for Disney"

04/07/2018

Have stayed at this hotel many times before. The rooms are clean but packed with furniture which is not required. As a family of average height getting on the beds was a bit of a climb, though comfortable when you got there. The included breakfast good and a real bonus. However the car parking is awful and if you take your car out you never know if there will be a space when you return. The convenience to the Disney parks is unbeatable and this makes the hotel a winner.

"Very nice hotel close to Disneyland"

02/07/2018

This facility is called THE BEST WESTERN PLUS PAVILLION 1176 W Katella Avenue Anaheim, Los Angeles 714-776-5801 It doesn't come up at the moment on Trip advisor We came in on June 27 and left on July 2, it is a very nice hotel with a very friendly accommodating staff. The Disney shuttle is right out front and leaves on the hour every 20 minutes for a very small fee. The rooms are clean and spacious and are air conditioned although you might have to ask for staff assistance to learn how to operate it. They offer a complementary breakfast next door at Denny's which is also quite nice with friendly staff many whom have been there over 20 years. I really recommend this facility for the above reasons but in addition being a little more distant from the main gate it's quieter. Although I did walk to Disney once and it's wasn't overwhelming.

"Great location, but lacking in other ways"

3
25/06/2018

We were excited to get a hotel across the street, but we were disappointed at the service and interaction with staff. The front desk reception was great, we were in a top floor room right next the breakfast buffet, so there was a lot of noisy, stomping people every morning. The housekeeping was poor, we had a ring around our tub the entire stay since we took a bath on the first night. There was hair on the floor and in the sinks. We had a nasty run in with the breakfast staff who yelled at us for taking a donut and some cereal out of the breakfast room. We have a small child with special needs and he wasn't having a good enough day to leave the room and go to breakfast so instead of starving him, we took back some small amounts of food. We were called in our room and again berated for taking food out. While I understand the hotel not wanting people to take out so much food to feed a crowd, we were hoping to be accommodated with our special needs son. If we had known that was the policy of the hotel, we would have broughtt breakfast items or booked elsewhere. We felt discriminated against and treated like a thief . The room was in need of repair, the tub leaked and the shower was dripping. When we choose again on our next trip, it won't be this hotel. We are season pass holders and visit about once a month, so we have stayed at many hotels in the area and never been singled out or treated so poorly. The only positive was the location, but for the price, I could have taken an Uber and stayed elsewhere, too bad it could have been terrific!

We had a 2 room suite which was perfect for 3 adults and 2 children. Room was not fancy but functional and met our needs. Very easy walk to the park which allowed us to have an afternoon break back in the room. The included breakfast we good and they had lots of choices. Staff was friendly and efficient. We were able to see some of the fireworks from the walkway outside our room which was nice. Would stay again.

For the price, location and free parking we cannot complain. The hotels in this area are not stellar five star resort. But neither is the price. The rooms are consistently clean and service is good. We always complain about air conditioner doesn't blow cold enough. But that is every hotel. The pool is small. Not much parking and you will be upcharged for everything. But again. Every hotel in this proximity to Disneyland will do the same thing.

"Fantastic location, good for families due to room layout."

17/06/2018

We arrived early due to our flight from Australia getting into LAX early. While we weren't able to check in, we were able to leave our bags with reception. We were able to get into our room at about 1.30pm (check in was from 3pm), which was good. As we are a married couple who were also going away with a friend, we booked what we thought was a two-bedroom king suite. What this actually is it one large room, with a king bedroom off to the side (wide opening with no door) and two doubles in the lounge area. I emphasise the no door, as this was a very odd layout. Good if you are a family staying there, but not really suitable for other people who like their privacy. The bathroom has a shower/bath combo and toilet. The sink is in the kitchen area next to the lounge which doubles as a bedroom. This makes it difficult when sharing with others as you are constantly waking whoever is in the lounge area when anyone needs to go to the bathroom in the night and wash their hands. The room also had a coffee maker and breakfast was included. The continental breakfast (yoghurts, pastries and cereal) were ok but the cooked meal could only be described as average (powdered eggs, meat patties which looked like cat food). On our second morning there, we decided we'd rather pay for breakfast and went next door to Denny's. The beds were very comfortable and there was no noise from surrounding rooms. The location is what sells this hotel, as it is literally across the road from Disney. As mentioned there is a Denny's next door, Tony Roma's is a few doors down, it is an easy walk to more shops (CVS etc) and restaurants and the Garden Walk Shopping Centre is about 5-10 minutes walk as well. This has lots of restaurants to choose from. The servicing of the room was good, we were always provided with lots of soaps etc, there were free apples in reception and staff were friendly and helpful. The only let down for us was the layout of the room for the purpose of our visit and not actually getting a typical 2 bedroom (where each bedroom is separate and has a door). Would stay again if we ever visited Disney again and it was just us and not friends.

"Overrated"

09/06/2018

This hotel is so overrated that it's hard to believe all the reviews have come from actual guests. We just returned from a 3 week road trip through the Western USA during which we stayed at a dozen different Best Westerns. All of them were clean, well appointed and, most importantly, had extremely gracious, helpful staff. Not so at the Anaheim Inn. The only good thing to be said about this hotel is the location, which is literally across the street from Disneyland, but so are several other hotels in the immediate vicinity. In hindsight, I'd pick any one of them because they all looked better. The rooms, while clean, are dark and have not seen renovations in a while despite the claims on the website (and by the staff on duty the day we got there). Our room was a 'suite' that was stuffed so full of furniture we could barely move, and the second bedroom was windowless and extremely claustrophobic. All of that wouldn't have been issues worth complaining about, but upon entering, the room smelled like weed. I was travelling with a husband who has asthma and a six-year-old, neither of whom I wanted to expose to that smell overnight, but unforunately the hotel was completely booked and so we couldn't move. Staff were not very apologetic or helpful when we informed them of the issue, but we were promised we could move rooms for our second night, when they would have availability. The person at the front desk also told us they could place a machine in the room that would air out the smell (?), but this never happened as far as we could tell. They put an air freshener in instead. The next day we were informed that housekeeping could find nothing wrong with the room, and so we would be charged for additional rooms if we were to move from the smelly suite - we declined, not wanting to spend more money there. In the end, the manager was apologetic and did offer a partial discount, but overall this hotel left us with a bad impression on the last two days of our vacation, which was unfortunate. I had considered several other hotels on the same street before I booked and was swayed towards the Anaheim Inn by the good reviews - don't make the same mistake! Book the Marriott Courtyard down the street!

"Great Hotel with a Great Location"

04/06/2018

The last time I stayed at this hotel was over 20 years ago as a kid. It was great then and it is still great now. The beds are very comfortable and the room are so nice. The staff there was very friendly and helpful with all the questions we had and the check in/check out. The breakfast was amazing as well. There was always plenty of food and great varieties. One of the best things too is that since we were there for Disneyland, they sold tickets to the park right there at the desk which saved lots of time having to wait at the tickets booths. Also only having to walk a short distance to the park was a huge advantage. If you need a good hotel, this is the place.

02/06/2018

Stayed for a week and couldn't be happier with the location. Was great after a long day at Disney Land to be in your room within minutes of leaving the Park. Rooms were very clean and freshly refurbished. Very quite and good view of the fireworks from the 3rd floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside was the breakfast. This should be improved. We skipped breakfast a few mornings are went elsewhere even though it was included. Overall highly recommend, great place to stay.

The location was perfect. It was directly across from entrance to Disneyland. We werewable to walk back and forth without any problems. Clean area, felt safe. There were restaurants and convienent stores nearby. The room had a nice decor and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast was good.

great place to stay with the staff exceptional. also if your going to Disneyland only 3 to 4 min walk to the park. rooms were clean and beds were good but the internet was really fast. i recommend this best western.

We had a very nice stay at the Best Western hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean , comfortable and spacious. It is within walking distance to lots of different restaurants, and right across the street from Disney.

"Exceeded our expectations"

29/05/2018

Reasonably priced and about as close to Disney as you can get without being in the park, we were not surprised that this is a heavily booked property. These close by motels have been here for decades and with constant use, we expected a somewhat worn property and pool full of kids in hyper mode. We guessed wrong on both counts. The two rooms we booked were beautifully updated and spotless. They were put back that way daily during our stay and toiletries (which were first class) replenished. Although our stay ended just before Memorial Day, the pool and hot tub were filled and heated (and never crowded or noisy). This was different from other properties in the area that we had stayed in previously. There was a decently equipped workout room and coin-op laundry where nothing was broken. Nice touches like towels at the pool were noted throughout our stay. Self serve breakfast also exceeded what you normally find at places like this although not exceptional. Having a free breakfast and good restaurant choices within a few hundred feet made the stay less hurried - a huge plus when you are facing hours in a crowded theme park. The front desk staff was organized and pleasant to work with. An unanticipated need was quickly and smoothly handled -- they clearly know what guests might require. In all, our experience here way exceed our hopes when we booked. When we return to Disneyland, the decision about where to stay will be the easiest part of our trip.

"Clean Hotel and Great Location"

This hotel is a great value for staying near Disneyland. Our rooms are clean, the staff are courteous and helpful. The room comes with a refrigerator and a microwave They offer breakfast as well. They do not offer a in-room safe, but it's available at the front desk.

We only stayed one night but it was a great hotel! It was super clean! The bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet at night! It's in a convenient place! Just a hop skip and a jump to Disneyland! The parking was pretty nice because they let you leave your car until 6 after you check out. I definitely would recommend this hotel to all my friends! You can't beat the quality and the price!!!

Was basically across the road from Disneyland making it very easy to spend the full day at the parks. Affordable. Caters well for families. Rooms very clean and nicely presented. Wifi included plus breakfast.

"Incredibly convenient for Disneyland"

19/05/2018

This hotel is literally just across the street from the main entrance for Disneyland. Much closer (and cheaper) than many of the official Disneyland hotels. If I'm honest, this was not the best hotel we stayed at on our trip (the other Best Westerns, in Carmel and Santa Barbara, were nicer, despite not being "plus") - the mattress was a bit soft for us, didn't bother with the breakfast after the first morning (there are plenty of nice places for breakfast nearby)... but you can't fault the location. And the pool was really nice too.

"Great place to stay near Disneyland"

19/05/2018

I couldn't believe the price of a 2 queen bedroom being that the hotel is so close to the entrance to disneyland. The front desk staff were very nice and the free breakfast was plentiful and had many options including gluten free.

Great place to stay and so close to Disneyland! Breakfast is way more then a continental breakfast, eggs, susage, bacon, French toast, hot coffee and beverages! A cereal bar, assorted donuts, assorted pastries, and a toast station. They go above and beyond in all aspects of your stay. You cannot beat the location!

"LOCATION wins the prize"

You can not find a better located property to Disney than this motel. You are paying for location and it is worth it, no driving or shuttles to worry about just walk to the park. The motel is fine, it is a 50 or 60s style two story motel with outside entrances. I am actually surprised it makes the BW Plus rating with outside entrances they must made an exception for this property. The rooms are decent they have done pretty well upgrading as they can with an old school building. We had three rooms and they were all clean and in good repair. If you look through the traveller's pictures they represent the looks of the rooms quite well. The breakfast was decent, not great not bad, it started our day. There is a outdoor pool and we looked at it but with only three days at Disney we never got to it. For how much time we spent in our rooms this motel worked for us. Had it been a mile away we would not have chosen it. If you are OK with outside entrances then I would have no problems recommending this property, location wins the prize. 3.0 motel in a 5.0 location so I will rate it 4.0.

"Very good."

Pros: Easy check in (late check in for me)and check out. Plenty of parking, spots wide enough for most SUVs. Have elevators for those who do not want stairs. Friendly staff in front office. Variety of foods for breakfast. First day had waffles, second day had pancakes. Both days had scrambled eggs, potatoes some kind of meet (turkey patty first day and ham the second) as well as some fruits, yogurt, cereal, breads/muffins, etc. Rooms clean, lots of pillows on beds. Beds fairly comfortable. Cons: Not exactly close to Disneyland in my opinion....quite a walk and with young kids that would cause them to wear out before getting to the gates. So I payed to park at the disneyland garage and downtown disney. Save the walking for inside the park. There are two BW PLUS on same street separated by like approx 2-3 other hotels. Coming from Ball street and Disneyland, this location is the SECOND one on the left, not the first one. You will have to go past the second one and make a U-turn at the light to get to it, then it will be the FIRST one on your right near Dennys and tony romas. Harder to find at night time. Elevators seem slow......had to press buttons 2-3 times before it would register that the buttons were pressed. Breakfast in first building only on 3rd floor. Those of us in the second building have to either cut through pool or go around parked cars and hope those backing out see us walking. Foods squeezed in small area...hard to navigate when there are so many people wanting different foods. Plenty of seating though. Otherwise, hotel is a good place for those who want to save money but have a good and comfortable hotel while visiting Disneyland and California Adventures. The cheaper hotels out here had bad reviews and the expensive ones dont offer continental breakfast (they charge and arm and a leg per person for breakfast buffet) and charge you for parking (this place parking is free). My room for 2 nights on a Fri and Sat night was approx $400.

Enjoyed our stay in a clean, comfortable room. All staff were professional, efficient and polite. Breakfast well presented & fresh, with a variety of items.Booked this room because of the short walk to Disney, and will definitely return next time!

First review for me and need to say how impressed we were overall with the Motel and the area. Friendly and helpful staff that always had a huge smile and were extremely polite. This includes helping out when we misplaced some tickets and arranging/conforming transfers to the airport. Facilities were always clean, the breakfast bar while not always fresh (eg Frozen products) was better than you would expect from a Motel/Inn. Cleaners were always good and helpful. The inn was across the road from Disney and close to everything you would need including a Walgreens, Diners and some restaurants. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Forgot to add my review for our Spring Break stay. As always, this hotel met all our expectations for cleanliness, friendliness, and overall good service. Breakfast staff proves to be better than many other larger more expensive brand hotels. Room was clean and not sure how they do it but it's seems guests are always quiet and respectful. Never seems like we hear tons of loud noises. Just the usual guests getting to their rooms etc.

"Literally across the road from Disneyland!"

05/05/2018

This hotel was literally across the road from Disneyland you can't go wrong. Took my mother and I just under 2 minutes to walk across and we were in the que. They offer a free breakfast which was nice and good choice, considering you'll be out at the parks all day just grab a bagel and juice and off you go. Only thing was the thin walls I could hear the family next door at 7am which was really annoying. Other than that you can't go wrong- it's no Hilton or 5* hotel but it Defo does the job when you're in the parks from 9am- 10pm

"Very short walk to Disneyland"

04/05/2018

Had a wonderful stay even if we were only in our room to sleep....from the time we checked in which was 9am and it was nice that they had free parking available that early which was wonderful .......The beds were a little to hard for us......If you want a nice clean room free parking, free breakfast and a very short walk to Disneyland book this hotel.....My daughter and I have annual passes but here to celebrate my oldest daughters birthday! would definitely stay here again.......we didn't try the free breakfast so I can't review that .......

This is the perfect location for Disneyland. It was a block from the entrance! The rooms appeared newly remodeled with comfy beds. It had a nice big sink area. The breakfast was always filled with food and had good choices.

"Great Hotel!"

24/04/2018

The hotel was in very close walking distance to Disneyland. The hotel room had a modern feel and was suprisingly really well sound proofed. Breakfast was really yummy and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Water pressure was good. Parking was a little tight, but you could find parking spaces that were away from other cars.

"Awesome Staff, Great Location"

5
23/04/2018

The staff was exemplary! Every time I went to the office to access the safe box, ask a question or check in/out there attitude and service were second to none!! (Quite an accomplishment considering Disney would be direct comparison for this location)

"PERFECT!!!!!!!!"

"Location, location, location"

21/04/2018

The location of this motel is awesome. It's right across the street from the park. The price was also great, compared to other places. The downfall is all the noise. You can hear everyone getting ready and leaving for the park between 6 am and 9am. O and there was a garbage truck at like 6 am one morning too. The breakfast is ok, typical free breakfast, nothing I would be upset about missing out on. The beds seemed ok to us too. The staff was very polite and our room is nice and clean.

"Great stay, besides the garbage truck at 0600"

4
16/04/2018

Great comfortable room , extremely decent breakfast, good priced hotel for its location , super close walking distance to the park. only thing that was hard was the garbage truck you could hear outside the window at 0600 hrs.

This hotel is excellent, right across the street from Disneyland and the breakfast's are great! Other great restaurants in walking distance. Could do without the resort fee, since it's not really a resort, small pool with small hot tub.

"Can't Beat the Price or Location"

08/04/2018

We stayed 3 nights here, with family next door in a communicating room (door in between). Our rooms had 2 queen beds, and the rooms also had 2 club chairs and a small table near the door, which made for a tight squeeze. The sink and large vanity counter (plenty of room for toiletries) were outside the bathroom. The room was clean and the furnishings and linens nice. We were on the bottom floor, and could hear a little noise from the floor above, but it wasn't too bad. It was quiet at night, nothing woke us up. Parking is tight, spaces are small. It was really tight up by the front of the hotel. If you're worried about your large vehicle getting dinged, ask for a room toward the rear. As other reviewers have said, the location is right across the street from Disney, an easy walk to the front gate. There is a Denny's restaurant next door, where my husband had a late night meal. We also ate at Tony Roma's a few doors down. We never needed to drive our car anywhere while we were there. Great breakfast - probably the best free breakfast I've found anywhere. The scrambled eggs were good, they had ham 2 of the mornings, sausage the other. Instant oatmeal, cereal, fruit, toast, pastries, muffins, and donuts, yogurt with toppings, hard boiled eggs. Whether you eat low carb or high carb, you can get a good meal. And you need to, with Disney food prices! Everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly. We didn't use the heated pool, but there were people in it the first week of April. I highly recommend this hotel, you can't beat it for the location or price.

"Good breakfast "

4
01/04/2018

This hotel has an excellent free breakfast. We were impressed. The room was comfortable but I will say the pillows were small (like half of the size of a regular pillow). The beds were so so. You can't beat the location for Disneyland.

"Great place to stay!"

24/03/2018

This hotel was great for my family. The room was clean and large, with comfortable beds and plenty of counter space and storage. The breakfast room was spacious with inside or outside seating and the food choices were great. Being so close to the entrance to Disneyland was fantastic, especially after a long day at the park.

"Great location! Loved our stay here!"

5
23/03/2018

We're from Texas, stayed for 2 nights bc we wanted to be close to Disneyland. Absolutely loved our stay here! As soon as we arrived the front desk staff was so helpful and very polite, we bought our tickets there and got a better price. Our room was super clean and didn't have that yucky hotel smell, was stocked with more than enough towels to where we didn't need housekeeping services during our stay. The breakfast was AMAZING!! So many different things to choose from and I liked how they rotate the main hot items so we had waffles one day and french toast the next. They had donuts, bagels, eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, yogurts, tortillas for tacos etc. I can't even remember everything bc there were so many great things to choose from. Everything was delicious! We plan to stay here next time we go, especially being right across the street from Disneyland and yet very affordable! Less than a 5 minute walk!! We had a great experience here and have nothing but great things to say about it.

"BEST location for Disneyland!!!!"

4
22/03/2018

This hotel is literally across the road from the front gate of Disneyland. Location is perfect!! Room was large and clean. The only reason I'm rating it a 4 not a 5 is because all 4 of my family members commented on the beds and pillows being uncomfortable. We spent a lot of time walking and standing each day, so going back to the hotel to a nice comfortable bed would have been nice but unfortunately the beds in our room were far from comfortable. The continental breakfast has a huge variety of good food to get your day started.

"Across the street from Disneyland"

4
21/03/2018

This place is literally right across the street from the main shuttle entrance of the park! We walked 10 min and was there! Came back to our room to rest and drop off souvenirs several times to save time. Rooms were a little small but with all the expected amenities of a larger room fridge, microwave, tv, wifi, ect. Newer rooms clean and most importantly roomy clean restroom! Happy with choice served purpose.

21/03/2018

I stayed here while attending a show at the Anaheim convention center. It was about 3/4 of a mile, easy walk to the show. Lots of restaurants around too. I did use the wifi which was fine as well as the free breakfast. I didn't get a chance to use the fitness center, but I got a lot of steps in! The staff was really nice and the room was fine. I'm not a huge fan of rooms with parking right outside because of the beep beep of doors locking all the time and car alarms but it wasn't too bad. My room was close to the pool area so on occasion I was able to sit out there and work on things which was nice and got me out of the room more when I needed to do work. I'd definitely stay here again and walk to the show. For the price savings, it's completely worth it. I'm sure most people are there for Disney which is right across the street.

"Love this place"

We stay here every year when we come to California to escape winter for a bit. The location cannot be beat. This is a very clean, modern hotel, has great beds, nice pool and extensive breakfast with a balcony to enjoy the nice weather. Five stars in my book!

"Great for Disneyland"

02/03/2018

This is nice hotel and very convenient for Disneyland. Breakfast in the morning above Captain Kids Buffet - eggs, bacon, sausage, some cereal, fruit and bread options. Not a bad meal before a trip to the parks. Directly across the street from the Entrance. Just cross the street and you are there. The room was decent and clean. We had a crying baby next to us so that wasn't pleasant. The walls were a little thin. We could hear everything they were saying. But we didn't here anyone above us or to the other side. So they could just be loud talkers. The bed was comfy, but we brought our own pillows because we are picky. Of course you have to pay for parking, but that is mostly anywhere in Anaheim. Overall it was a good stay and we would stay here again. Mostly for the ease and convenience of the location.

"close to the walkway to Disneyland"

5
12/02/2018

breakfast was good, Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Bed was ok a little on the hard side. I would recommend as well as stay again. The rooms aren't sound proof so heard a lot of noise from the neighbors as well as the cleaning carts waking us up in the am.

"Perfect for Disneyland"

5
09/02/2018

This hotel is a great choice if you're planning to visit Disneyland. It's a very close walk to the parks with several restaurants along the way. The room was clean and updated and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay again.

"Great stay!"

07/02/2018

Kind of pricey but close to Disneyland entrance and free breakfast and clean rooms with excellent service! Will definitely come back! Arrived early in the morning and was accommodated by checking in early. Which is a big plus because got to freshen up and go to the park!!

"Good for the price"

5
05/02/2018

Overall good hotel. I would recommend. It was close to Disneyland and close to food. The pool is small but my kids still liked it. Breakfast was a hit for everyone. Staff was nice and they let us park early, before our check in time.

"Disneyland"

The hotel was perfect for our Disneyland adventure. Right across the street from the main entrance and was able to park at the hotel for free even though we arrived at 9am!! Great inexpensive alternative to the Disneyland hotels and half the price!!

"Best hotel for Disneyland adventures!"

28/01/2018

Rooms were very clean and newly remodeled. The beds were comfy and clean. They had a special mattress cover that fully encased the mattress for bed bugs and allergens. Bathrooms and the rooms were spacious. A mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker came with the room. We were on the ground floor and could hear the room above us at night but found the bathroom fan helped drown that out. Since we were so close to the park nobody seemed to drive so parking lot noise was almost non existant. Hotel staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was great. It was continuously restocked whether we were there at 7 am or 9:30 am. There was something for everyone in our family to choose from. We were unbelievably close to the park. I think my gps said .6 miles to walk. There was only one other hotel closer and it was the one next door to this hotel! Literally if we had wanted to run back to grab something or take a break it would have been very easy to do so. We will be back to stay here even if we aren't doing disney! Denny's is immediately next door to the hotel and open 24 hours. There was an Ihop a couple doors down and a Captn Kidd's buffet as well. The Denny's was clean, had great fast service and prices were not inflated for the area. Great experience!

"Always a great stay! "

19/01/2018

This has been our go to hotel for Disneyland trips for several years now. Front desk staff is excellent and always greets us with a smile. Rooms are clean, bed is comfy for a hotel bed and maid service is always thorough. Breakfast room is huge! Plenty of room to sit for a large family. We are a family of 6 and need enough seating for us all. Food is the standard hotel breakfast. Eggs, sausage, muffins, donuts, yogurt etc. breakfast staff is efficient, friendly and keeps things flowing, stocked and clean. Tip: sit outside on the balcony and enjoy watching people walk by and the view of Disneyland resort. Parking a bit tricky but only during our late check in was it almost impossible to find a spot. But it doesn't deter us from loving this property.

"Great place"

16/01/2018

We stayed here for 10 days and loved it. We had a two bedroom room on the second floor. Although it is descibed as a 3 "queen bed" room the beds are more "double" size. The room was clean and spacious and so close to Disney. Cross over a set of lights and you are there. Breakfast is lovely and a good variety. This hotel is a great place to visit Disney.

16/01/2018

We just spent 3 nights here and were very impressed with our stay. We were going to Disney (obviously don't think you would stay here if you weren't!) and you couldn't get closer to the park. Its half a block – cross the street and you are at the park entrance! Check in was quick and smooth. We showed up at 8am and asked if we could park there and then come back at check in time and she told me that if I could find a spot to park in I was welcome to. That saved me $20 in parking which I really appreciated it. She pre checked me in as well so when we came back from the park at dinner time all I had to do was get my keys. They have a full breakfast every day starting at 6:30. It has a decent selection – one hot carb – pancakes, waffles, French toast. 2 meats – ham and sausage and eggs and egg whites. Plus all your cereals, muffins, bagels etc. The food was hot and there was constantly staff filling and refreshing the food and wiping down counters etc. The room was comfortable and clean. I will stay here again next time I come to Disney again for sure. It's nice that it's close enough that if we needed to run back to the room from the park for something we could and it took next to no time and at the end of a long day you don't have far to go! It's got lots of restaurants around it as well so you have lots of food options. Free wifi and free parking.

13/01/2018

Super convenient right across the street from Disneyland and California Adventure. Staff was very nice and professional. Included breakfast had a variety of options that changed slightly daily. Upon getting into town early we stopped at the hotel and asked if we could park there early though we weren't checking into until later that day and we lucked out and there was room. Room could have been cleaner. Bathtub/shower is EXTREMELY slippery. Both adults fell in the shower due to the slippery bottom. They should install non-slips strips or something to prevent this. A neighboring club was loud at night. The walls were thin. Would stay here again.

"Great place to stay"

This a great place to stay , it's across the road from Disneyland but The beds are comfortable the water is hot & it is clean .If you are trying to save some money for Disneyland they offer free buffet breakfast which helps with costs .The staff at the hotel recpition were great.

09/01/2018

Stayed here for Disneyland. Location is about as close as you can get. Renovated room, clean, easy parking and has breakfast (both free!). Problem is the hotel next door has a rooftop lounge that blasts music. It comes through the walls. If you have kids who go to bed early, this is a problem on what is otherwise a really great Disneyland hotel.

09/01/2018

This Best Western is much better than the one a few doors up. The desk staff is super kind and helpful with everything. The breakfast staff however could use some training. The rooms look like they have been renovated in the last few years but maybe not cleaned as well as the could be. The shower had some mold in the corners. And the carpets could use a good vacuuming. Water stains on the ceiling are kind of outputting. I also highly dislike the shutters. Never feel like the room was dark enough and privacy was lacking. But other than that not a bad room. The breakfast is good. Has a few rotating items; pancakes, waffles, french toast. They have someone check your name and room number to enter. They are also VERY serious about not letting any food or drink out for any reason. Overall a good stay. We'll be back!

"Great hotel with short walk to Disneyland"

08/01/2018

My family enjoyed this hotel with a walking distance to Disneyland. It is literally a few minutes away from the main gate. Friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was super delicious. It has everything for all to enjoy and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Disneyland.

"Didn't expect much but....."

4
05/01/2018

I have stayed at other BW hotels in the Disneyland area and this one is the best by far. The room was clean and was a little small (i had 3 kids and a large stroller with me plus luggage )but overall I really enjoyed my stay. The full breakfast is a bonus. The walk to Disneyland from my room was less than 10 minutes. My kids were able to stand on the balcony outside the room and watch the firework show from the park. The only true downfall of the property is the lack of parking. They allow the guests to stay parked in the lot until 6pm after checking out so it makes it difficult to find a spot when you check in but on the other hand I left my car until almost 5 once I checked out so I guess I can't complain anymore about that policy hahaha.

"New Years at Disneyland with a close hotel"

4
03/01/2018

This was our second time going to Disneyland for New Years. Traveling with 7 and 10 year olds and two adults. Last time we went was at a different Best Western that was farther away so quite a bit cheaper. The cost seemed average, around $200 a night, but the main benefit was that it is just a 10 minute or so walk from the hotel to the park gates. It's basically the same distance if you stay at a Disneyland Hotel. Also with not having to take public transportation getting home after the fireworks was crazy easy. The staff was friendly enough and the continental breakfast was good. If you are in the first building on the third floor you can actually view the fireworks from the walkway. Flip side to that is that since you are so close you definitely hear/feel the fireworks when they go off around 9:30pm. The rooms were very snug for 4 people and felt very crowded very fast. The beds were alright but nothing amazing. At night there seemed to be live music playing in a building just south of the hotel. Since the rooms don't handle the noise well you could definitely hear the thumping until midnight. That and the fireworks blasting at night it was very hard to get to sleep before 11pm. Plan for a full day at Disneyland in order to pass out and not be disturbed. Our room also had ants coming through a door jam in the bathroom the last nights we were there, but we didn't actually report it until later since they weren't many and didn't bother us. Pros: * Super close to Disneyland * Can view fireworks from the 3rd floor * Breakfast was good and ran until 10am and was definitely used by the guests * Close to restaurants * Had a fridge and microwave in the room Cons: * Very loud at night, and occasionally in the morning when the kids get excited for Disneyland * I can see the pool being very packed during the summer months since it's not that big * The 2 queen bed room was very tight for a family of 4

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the park. Breakfast was perfect. Had several different options to choose from. The suite was a great size and great because we have teenage kids so it gave everyone their own space.

"Good location to Disneyland"

28/12/2017

was a 10 minute walk to the front gate of Disneyland. Free parking and breakfast were a definite plus! We were on the first floor so we had quite a bit of noise from outside our door and the street but it was tolerable for one night.

Worth the stay and very convenient being across the street they let us park our car even tho check in was until 3, and we were able to purchase Disneyland tickets! That was the most convenient because the line at Disney would of been longer

"Great experience"

20/12/2017

This is our 4 th time at this property. Always friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Very clean. Breakfast is very nicely done. Not just donuts and coffee. Always a full breakfast. Lots to choose from.

"Really good place to stay"

20/12/2017

I normally stay at the Park Place Inn up the street for the larger room, but got a deal on 3 nights here. Loved the convenience of the breakfast on the third floor just steps away from my room. Little bit further walk to the park but that is okay for the better price.

"Stay at Anaheim- Next to Disneyland"

19/12/2017

Awesome staff. Great patience. Detailed communication with customers. Breakfast was on point. Room was very clean. Internet connection was lightning fast. Location to Disneyland was a must and this hotel pulled it off.

"Great place for DisneyFun"

19/12/2017

It was a great place to stay as it is right across from Disneyland. Great rooms, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast options were varied and excellent. Also, I thought the quick check out options was great as well.

"This Hotel has the best of everything"

5
18/12/2017

Very impressed with this Hotel. It's directly across from Disneyland, and also surrounded by great places to eat. I travel at least twenty days out of the month and stay at a lot of hotels, and I have to say, this hotel was one of the best. It's directly across from Disneyland, surrounded by great places to eat, friendly staff, clean updated facilities, and a great continental breakfast. I'll definitely be back.

"Can't beat the location."

13/12/2017

Great hotel in a great location. Our room has been remodeled and looked great. Price was lowest in the area while keeping the quality of the room. Five minute walk to disneyland, that says it all. Where could be better?

"VERY close to Disneyland!!"

4
12/12/2017

This hotel is extremely close to Disneyland. Literally right across from the main crosswalk. Breakfast is included in the hotel price for all guest and the rooms are very clean. Refrigerator and microwave are also in the room.

"Good Nights Sleep and Close to Disneyland"

11/12/2017

My sister was able to get three "free" nights for us to stay at this hotel using her husband's hotel points. It was a very nice hotel and the beds were so comfortable. Lots and lots of pillows! - although two of the pillows had "leftover" hair on them. The breakfast was great and served early enough so you can get a head start to go to Disneyland. Our room was clean when we returned from our day at the park. We did soak our feet in the Jacuzzi at night and I highly recommend that after walking all day. This hotel is directly across from Disneyland so you can even go back to your room and take a nap during the day if you want. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would choose this hotel again if I ever go back to Disneyland.

"Spacious"

4
11/12/2017

Room was clean and spacious. Plumbing problems but was taken care of in a timely manner. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to Disneyland. Breakfast was good with a variety of items to choose from.

"Must Stay Hotel in Anaheim"

11/12/2017

Great close hotel to Disneyland, right across the street. Great customer service and great snacks and WIFI. Breakfast buffet is free with stay. Very Tasty. Best part is free parking with stay. hotel is next to Dennys. Easy place to feed the family.

"Front desk staff"

05/12/2017

Apron arrival the staff was rude and could have cared less about any prior requests we may have made..I make my reservations months ahead of time and I always call head to check and go over everything again a week or so before..Plus I call again the day before!! I have children with Autism rude and uncaring staff is the last thing I need.

"Perfect for your Disneyland visit"

5
04/12/2017

Not only is the location perfect if you are visiting Disneyland. The staff and the room are top quality. Absolute comfort in the rooms. I have Coeliac Disease and the staff at breakfast were lovely and cooked me some toast in a designated gluten free toaster and also pointed out the GF options available at breakfast.

rooms and staff were great. always asked if we needed anything. Breakfast was good, and staff there was extremely helpful and polite. when we had the do not disturb sign up they always left a message saying they noticed the sign and asked if we needed anything.

"Comfort of home"

02/12/2017

Always enjoyed staying at the Anaheim Inn but was always booked. We would always bring our kids when they were young. Now I was very please with our stay, as we bring our granddaughters to Disneyland. They were very accommodating for my disabled husband, now that he has trouble walking and uses a walker. My granddaughter, who is on the Autism spectrum, was very comfortable and at ease during our whole stay. I would highly recommend this for any family. It was conveniently located, walking distance from Disneyland. The complementary breakfast was awesome, offering a good variety, even kid friendly choices, of hot and cold foods. This is a true time saver, especially for a family with young children. The staff was very friendly and made you feel welcomed and were very accommodating. Hope to stay again in the near future.

"You Cannot Park on the Premises Until Your Room is Ready"

1
26/11/2017

The hotel is immediately across from the park. I guess less than a 5 minute walk. It was the selling point of staying here, because I was in town for only the one day. With reservation in hand, I arrived at 6 a.m. and checked in. I did not need the room yet; I only wanted to park on the property while I spent time in Disney. I was not allowed to park on the premises. I have never heard of such of bizarre policy despite spending well north of 1000 nights of my life in hotels and traveling around the world. Had to spend $25 more and pay Disney to park - except that was around 20 minutes away. Plus the room smelled like mold. Would never stay here again.

"Best deal, great rooms, super close to Disney!"

22/11/2017

We were flying blind as it was our first time at Disneyland. I don't know why this hotel isn't 5/5-great value, great beds, free Wi-Fi, hot breakfast, and literally a 5 minute walk to Disneyland. The only way you'd get closer would be to stay on property - at a ridiculously high price. We stayed in November, so the parks close at 9pm - but Downtown Disney is still open, and there's a 24 hour IHOP a few steps away if you get 2am cravings. Also a Denny's and Tony Roma's nearby. The ladies at the front desk were extremely patient and kind. (We had flight cancellations due to weather -- and had to make last minute changes.) Some noise with kids running down the halls, but it's mostly families staying there....not sure what you could expect. I took ear plugs and slept fine. You can always put the fan/ac on for white noise, too. Hope to come back next year!

"Exceeded Expectations"

5
21/11/2017

The room was clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels daily. The included breakfast was above average for a free breakfast. They rotated the hot meals daily with scrambled eggs always included. There was always plenty of seating available. I also appreciated the professional and good natured staff. Another plus is that there were no surprise charges on my bill on check out. The only complaint is that the shower water pressure seemed low to me. However, all of the hotels on this strip suffer from that problem. The cost was in line with most of the hotels on the strip. I have stayed in many of the hotels in this area and will again choose this hotel. I recommend this hotel on your next trip to Disneyland.

"Disneyland convenience!"

4
21/11/2017

We loved the staff here. The room we had was an average size but more than adequate considering we only slept there. The beds were very comfortable and that is huge in my books! The breakfast food was alright but the staff made it much more enjoyable. It's so close to Disneyland that walking is a breeze and the prices are great!

"Great location and remodel, poor views"

5
20/11/2017

You can't beat the location... directly across the street from the pedestrian entrance of Disneyland, literally a 4-minute walk to Dland security. The remodel of the rooms is very tasteful and modern. But being a motel, our room had a poor view. We even got the largest suite of the entire motel, and we were under the stairs, no light coming in, view of the parking lot with everyone walking by (no privacy). Opt for a second floor room if you can.

"Great Value for Disney Go-ers"

4
17/11/2017

This hotel is clean and affordable for a family on a budget going to Disneyland. We enjoyed the generous breakfasts and short walk to the park. This hotel is just 300-400 feet from the Best Western that is directly across from the park's entrance (Best Western Park Place Inn) but I believe is an even better value.

"Best Western Anahiem"

5
15/11/2017

Greta location and some of the nicest beds and towels for the price you will find anywhere. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Disneyland is right across the street and there are quality restaurants all around the area.

"Great choice"

5
15/11/2017

Very impressed from the start when they placed our2 family groups next door without us even requesting it - so much easier for the kids moving between rooms. Rooms were clean and comfortable and nicely decorated too. Complimentary breakfast was good with a variety of breads, cereals, yoghurts and hot foods. Location is wonderful- right across from the Disneyland complex. Staff very friendly and welcoming- would definitely stay again. ??

"Disneyland at Best Western Prices"

4
14/11/2017

Convenient and comfortable. Located within a block of the main gates to both Disneyland parks. Friendly Staff, comfortable rooms, free breakfast and wifi. Close to food and fun but won't break the bank.

"AMAZING HOTEL"

5
12/11/2017

If you are looking for a place to sleep, grab free breakfast for a great price while at Disneyland, this is the place. It is also very close (across the street) from Disneyland. The staff was super nice and I do not have one single complaint about this place. I refuse to pay a lot of money for a hotel while at Disneyland since we are hardly in our room. This is the best place I have found and we will not stay anywhere else. Do yourself a favor, book here and save on the hotel costs while enjoying Disneyland.

"best location to stay!"

3 min. Walking distance to Disneyland. Clean and renovated rooms. Good customer service. Plus, breakfast include. Big room and comfortable beds. We stayed for two nights and spent one day in Disneyland park.

"Great Location!"

08/11/2017

This was my first time at this hotel but it won't be my last! The location was amazing just across from the entrance to Disney! IHOP and Tony Romas just next door. Free hot breakfast and kept full till close of time. Lots of choices for everyone. Plenty of parking and very clean rooms. Will be coming back here and recommending it to friends. Price was very good too, in comparison to other hotels in area!

"Best Western Anaheim"

It was a great place to stay. I would stay here again. It was close to Disneyland and we liked that it was easily accessible to the park. The breakfast was good and our kids really liked all the options that was provided.

walking distance to Disneyland, you can park your car there in the morning even though check in isn't til 3 pm, which makes it nice for you day at Disneyland and day of check out you can leave it there til 6pm. place was clean and recommend highly.

"Good value- excellent location- an updated older hotel - bit noisy."

4
30/10/2017

Stayed here for a 2nd time recently. Last time was about 4 years ago as they were updating the property. Bottom line, I think this property offers a great value. The location cannot be beat and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast and free parking were very nice perks too. I do have a few minor nits: 1)Two bulbs were out in our room. Seems like this could have been easily identified and addressed before our arrival. 2)There were dead bugs in the tub the first night. We did not see them again. 3) The room was on the noisy side. I asked for the quietest room they had and they put me on the top level in the second building. We could still hear our neighbors and the foot traffic right outside the walkway. Overall I think you'll be happy with staying here- the management put money in the right places- the beds and furniture and HVAC. For the price and location, you really can't beat it.

"Over impressed"

5
30/10/2017

This hotel staff was very impressive. Everybody was extremely helpful very professional the hotel not only looked good but immediately walking into the office lobby I noticed the beautiful smell of seasonal items that they had on display. I even made a comment how good it smelled and looked in the lobby

"Disneyland Trip"

29/10/2017

We made a quick trip to Disneyland and decided to spend the night instead of driving back home. This BW was really impressed with super clean rooms and amazing complementary breakfast. Factor in free parking and it was a fantastic value. All within walking distance of the park entrance.

"Another Great Trip to Disneyland"

5
25/10/2017

I really like this Best Western due to the close proximity to Disneyland. The staff are professional and very nice. Good Breakfast in the mornings. This hotel has recently had been updated with a newer modern look. Beds are comfortable but the pillows are a little hard. Will book this hotel again!

"Best Western Plus-Great Place"

5
24/10/2017

The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The beds and pillows were very comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Literally the only thing I can say "bad" about this hotel was the bed was a little high to get onto. (But honestly, not that big of a deal.) We will definitely book this hotel again when going to Disneyland. We had 2 other families that were there for our Disneyland celebration, stay in this hotel and they loved the rooms too. Within walking distance of Disneyland.

"New rooms very nice"

5
24/10/2017

Overall a a great value. The newly done rooms are clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly. The price was comparable to other hotels that were walking distance to Disneyland. Parking lot appeared safe.

"Great DisneyLand option"

4
22/10/2017

Hotel is basically across the street from the Disneyland entrance. It has a great breakfast selection. The sink area has a wonderfully long counter for all your stuff. They packed a lot into the room, making the table and chairs very cramped up next to a bed. The room itself is not huge, but the location is wonderful. We would stay again!

"Basic Hotel, security lacking as luggage stolen"

3
21/10/2017

The hotel is basic but comfortable and value for money. It is walking distance to Disney (25 minutes with children). The only concern is that my luggage was tampered with and electronic items stolen when it was left in a locked room for safe keeping. The hotel tried to say that we did not leave 8 pieces of luggage with them for safe keeping but I had proof, then they said they think I must have left all of my luggage scattered around the room! Another couple had their items stolen as well and they called out the police as the hotel was not taking any responsibility. Once the hotel took responsibility they was very apologetic and apparently made a claim for me using the hotel insurance. I have yet to hear back from their insurers and so am left out of pocket. I am unable to claim on my own travel insurance until we hear back from the hotel insurers - who have been contacted by myself and my UK insurers. Not impressed.

"Great location"

4
19/10/2017

Rooms were updated and clean. Loved the pool and breakfast was the best that we have had in a while. Rooms were quiet and yet near main road. Right across the street from Disneyland. My son got to see the monorail while he had breakfast

"Quality and great location"

4
19/10/2017

Even though they are renovating, they did an excellent job keeping their guest from being inconvenienced. The hotel is located directly across the street from Disneyland and they do not charge for parking. The rooms are clean and maintained, the breakfast area is spacious and it even has balcony seating. Many good restaurants are within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.

"Short walk to Disneyland."

5
18/10/2017

Walking distance to Disneyland. If the kids get tired you can come back within 10 minute walk. McD, Panera, Dennys, IHOP, Tony Romo all literally steps from the hotel. Bus stop to catch theDisneyland Express to and from airports few steps away. Some suites have a dividing door between rooms that help mom and dad get some rest! You can see the Disneyland fireworks from your hotel room door every night-no need to fight crowds. Great breakfast, remodeled. 15 minute walk to Convention Center .

"Great place to stay for Disney!"

4
17/10/2017

Great location! You can't find a short walk to the Disney gates. Parking included in the price and you can stay till 6pm on checkout day. We had a room that had been mostly renovated. Nice and modern! Room size was still a little small with suitcases for a family of 4 but certainly workable. Fast wifi too. Breakfast was slightly better than a normal continental breakfast. Enough variety that anyone could find something to eat. Only complaint/warning.....if you want to sleep in some morning, do not let them put you in rooms 201, 202, or 203 directly beneath the breakfast room. You will be woken up by noise from people eating breakfast early before the parks open. Overall: we will be back in Dec!

"Good choice for Anaheim Best Western"

4
16/10/2017

Stayed here with 3 other girls in October. Park Place Inn is usually our choice of “cheap” Disneyland hotels. I have to say, I think this Best Western is MUCH better. The room is smaller but it was fine for a group of 4 girls. If you do Disney like we do, you are never in the room anyway. It looks like the room had a recent remodel with updated bedding, furniture, tv, etc. The continental breakfast was decent. One less meal to buy in the park. I would stay here again if the price was right.

"Awesome Place"

12/10/2017

Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn, Anaheim CA is an awesome place to stay for its location, awesome breakfast, the warm & hospitable staff who helped & guided us in making our leisure/vacation times memorable. Thanks kindly

"Disneyland Trip"

09/10/2017

Great hotel, super location, very clean, excellent breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. This hotel is an easy walk to Disney, literally accross the street. There are restsurants on both sides and parking is secure.

"Affordable and easy access to Disneyland"

5
09/10/2017

Highly recommend this motel. Clean and fresh rooms, with comfy beds, located across from Disneyland shuttle entrance. We just walked long block and a half to entrance - Easy! Every staff member was friendly. Breakfast is included, as is parking. Pool is small, but kids had fun. Denny's and IHOP restaurants are on same block, as is Coldstone ice cream, so you don't have to eat inside Disneyland.

Our family stayed here at Anaheim Inn cause of it's location and also FREE parking! The staff was courteous and the place was well taken care of. The breakfast was not the best was sufficient. Will definitely stay there again.

"Disneyland 2017"

03/10/2017

Always a great stay. Breakfast options are excellent, beds are comfortable and right across the street to Disneyland. Pool is kind a small. Wish it wasn't so expensive. Parking is included, 1 car per room, but very limited and small, not lots of parking stalls.

"Great value for your dollar"

5
03/10/2017

This hotel was remodeled since we visited last, nicely done, and very clean and modern. There's a great breakfast available, served with a smile, and it's very close to the entrance to both Disneyland and California park gates, and other amenities. The pool area is very nice and well kept, and when towels were requested they came promptly. We will definitely stay here again on our next Disney trip.

"Easy access to amenities"

4
02/10/2017

Situated opposite disney this hotel is ideal for families visiting disney. Clean and comfortable this hotel offers a substantial breakfast between 6 and 10 a swimming pool and large rooms. Close by is Cocos a cafe/restaurant offering a wide menu ranging from sandwiches and cakes to 3 course meals and with a discount to hotel guests. Also within walking distance is a 7 to eleven and a couple of large pharmacists

"Family Disney Vacation"

5
02/10/2017

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western for our 3 day Disney Vacation! The rooms were newly remodeled and very clean. Microwaves and fridges in the room, with plenty of surface and storage spaces for our family. Hot/Cold breakfast was included, along with parking, which cut down on our overall vacation cost. Score! The service staff was very friendly and accommodating and the hotel is the perfect distance from the park. 5 minute walk, tops! We will definitely be staying here again!

"Great Location"

4
27/09/2017

Traveling on my own so the location was perfect to walk to Disneyland. The only issue I had is I was given a room right underneath the dining area. So around 6:30ish I was woken up by the noise coming from upstairs. Not cool but what can you do. That was the room that was given. Other than that I recommend this hotel. Its super clean and staff is friendly.

"Best Place to Stay!"

5
25/09/2017

This hotel is by far the best place to stay when visiting Disneyland! It's a short walk from the park, the rooms have just been renovated, and the breakfast is awesome! This is the only place I will stay when visiting the parks!

"Great hotel"

Remodeled looks up to date. Very nice. The pool area was very clean had no problem with breakfast very fast and accurate. The rooms were very clean when we first entered. The area where its located is perfect

"A few steps from Disneyland"

5
25/09/2017

This is a great hotel if you want to be a few steps from Disneyland. There is free parking, free hot breakfast, and free internet service. The rooms are standard size with vanity located outside the main bathroom. If you want to spend the day poolside I would suggest another hotel as this on is small and located right off the parking lot. I stay at this location every time over the other Best Western due to the free parking.

"BW Plus in Anaheim"

23/09/2017

This is a remolded and beautiful hotel. The rooms are awesome. The breakfast is amazing. The staff was cheerful and very helpful. They were doing a remodel and we never heard a thing. Walking to Disneyland made it even better. I LOVE THIS HOTEL.....

"Excellent hotel across the street from Disneyland"

4
21/09/2017

Very nice clean hotel. Newly remodeled rooms. Decent breakfast. Directly across from the East shuttle entrance to the park. Helpful staff. We enjoyed the stay. I would stay there again. The bed was new and was too firm, not very comfortable. Had a microwave and fridge in the room.

"Nice hotel, convenient to Disneyland"

4
20/09/2017

This is a great little hotel with spacious rooms. Nice pool, which never seems to be very busy. It is closer to Disneyland's actual entrance than either the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier. Prices are very reasonable and the included breakfast is a plus, especially when traveling with kids.

"Big Comfy Beds!"

5
20/09/2017

This location is close to the main gate of Disneyland. On-Site breakfast is a big plus! Rooms have recently been remodeled. Big comfy beds, clean, safe and friendly and helpful staff. Pool and hot tub are a delight for sore tired feet.

"Great hotel, great view and very close to Disneyland"

5
19/09/2017

I have stayed here before and I am pleased to say that they have upgraded many things. By far the best is their breakfast area. Thank you Best Western. Will definitely book my upcoming trips to Anaheim here.

"Great family place"

5
18/09/2017

Super close to the disneyland east entrance. Free breakfast was great especially for the kids. We wanted a place close to the park and relatively inexpensive. Parking was free. Room was super clean and literally had a new smell to it. Awesome place.

"Handy to Disneyland"

4
14/09/2017

This was our fourth stay at this property and as always we were pleasantly surprised by the convenience and quality. The staff went out of their way to assist us on a few occasions and we must give a big thank you to Elizabeth on the front desk who helped us with things like storing our bags, finding out about hire car locations and taxis etc. Rooms are clean and breakfast was adequate. This property is so handy to Disneyland which is always a bonus and IHop, Tony Romas, Dennys and numerous other restaurants nearby. This will continue to be our go to hotel whenever we are in Disneyland.

"visa double charged"

3
14/09/2017

when I arrived a hold was put on my visa for the total amount for my stay which i expected however 2 days later when i went to use my visa at Universal i discovered there was no money on it because the hotel had charged it again. staff were not able to refund one amount despite proof on my online banking that this had occurred. i was required to phone my bank in NZ who said they could reverse it if the hotel could fax an authorisation however they were unable to make a fax send. Consequently I still have two amounts missing off my visa...not good when you are travelling and something I now have to sort out at home

"Best of the Best"

5
14/09/2017

We have stayed at this location many times and it just keeps getting better and better. The staff are very knowledgeable about the area and are more than willing to help you find places to go. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

"Best Deal Yet!"

4
12/09/2017

When my family and I visited Disneyland, I had pre-booked our room here, thinking to myself if it's across the street from Disneyland, and only this much per night, there must be a catch. I was wrong, no catch but a great place to stay! The location is absolutely perfect! We spent 3/4 of the day at Disneyland, went back to the hotel for a swim and cooldown, then back to Disney to close out the day. The rooms were clean and spacious, although they could use a bit of an update. The breakfast was pretty good, but I wouldn't recommend the pancakes, which had the same consistency as the mudflaps on my truck. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and an added bonus was the Laundromat that visitors could use. The Denny's was next door, and with a Tony Roma's on the other side, who could ask for more? Very well spent, this place was great!

"Best deal in Disneyland"

5
12/09/2017

We got the family suite which was awesome for 4 people could have fit 2 more comfortably if we wanted, Disney is literally across the street makes it very convenient to walk back specially after spending all day at the park. The staff was top notch super friendly. The rates are really low considering parking is free lots of the hotels in the are you pay per day to park and their breakfast is included and is better than average. Definitely the best choice for a family with children, will be staying here next time we go to Disneyland.

"Amazing!"

5
06/09/2017

Now I know where to go to get the most out of my stay near Disney Land! Perfect in every way! I have a large family and they were able to accommodate us. Room was newly remodeled and very neat. Breakfast was outstanding and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

"GREAT STAY"

5
06/09/2017

Great hotel has nice variety breakfast coffee is great. Staff is excellent very convenient location, rooms are clean bed is comfy, parking is free. Will stay here again can't wait for next Disney trip.

"Small but Clean"

4
05/09/2017

The room was small but clean and in a perfect location for us. We felt safe there and walked to our location. There were lots of nearby restaurants. The complementary breakfast was better than expected.

"Better Choices in Anaheim"

3
05/09/2017

This is one of two Best Western hotels within walking distance of the entrance to the Disneyland resort, and definitely the lesser of the two. The amenities are similar, but the overall condition of the Park Place hotel is far better. The hotel room I was in for my stay was not very clean overall with dirty carpeting and worn furniture. The bed was comfortable though. The electrical outlets were old and the charger for my phone kept falling out - They were also not located for convenient access. I noticed that the electrical outlet located about 1 foot away from the sink was not GFCI protected. I was told by the staff that they were preparing to undergo renovations, so perhaps they will be better in the future.

"Close to Disneyland"

4
05/09/2017

We chose this Hotel because it was close to Disneyland, and offered reasonably priced rooms including parking and breakfast. The walking distance to Disneyland was only a few minutes. As we only stayed 2 nights, we could not use the early morning though, but this is Disney and rather than BW policy. We liked the room (double queen), which was spacious enough for all four of us, Internet worked well, fridge available. Printer for Boarding passes were available in the lobby and were easily accessible. The only minor drawback was the breakfast; however one has to admit that it was good for American hotel standards but below average for European hotel standards (plastic cutlery, ....). All in all I would definitely suggest it for all Disneyland visitors who are willing to do without early morning Disney access.

We always stay at this Best Western or the Best Western Park Place. Both are great and across the street from Disney. Free breakfast (which is usually decent) saves some money. Free wifi and parking also helps.

"Excellent staff"

29/08/2017

We stayed here recently on our family's first Disney trip. With 4 adults and a 1 year old, we had a 2 bedroom suite and the layout of the room is a little awkward. The bathroom is in one bedroom and the living space is in the other bedroom, which makes it difficult unless everyone goes to bed and wakes up at the same time. The staff however definitely made up for it. The ladies at the front desk were nothing but nice and very accommodating. Check in and it was very easy. The breakfast was also great and very nice to have considering Disney's food prices. Maybe not restaurant quality food, but that is expected at a free breakfast. It was a great selection of food. I was very pleased with our choice to stay there and would definitely stay there again next time we visit Disneyland.

"Great hotel!!"

28/08/2017

Great hotel!! couldn't fault the hotel at all. the location to Disneyland couldn't have been any better, great restaurants in the surrounds (make sure you walk around the corner and go to PF Changs and The Cheesecake Factory)! we were on the ground floor so a bit noisey of a night time with people coming home from Disneyland but nothing to worry about. Security of a night time for your car aswell

"Well Maintained. Friendly staff. Clean, well stocked Breakfast Room"

28/08/2017

So close to disneyland with restaurants steps away. Apples in the lobby was a nice touch. Housekeeping, laundry and maintenance staff helpful and friendly. Front desk attendants as well were helpful and made shuttle reservations for us. I have to say the young lady running the breakfast room did an amazing job. They even had a few gluten free options for me. Plenty of fresh fruit and a good selection of breakfast foods and good coffee. Well stocked and fresh. Our room was small but comfortable. Nice beds and pillows. We had a great experience and would stay here again

There were many things that went wrong with our stay, we've been to many hotels in the duration of our summer vacation and this was the worst. Right off the bat, upon arriving at the hotel, we were faved with a rather unpleasant greeting. The check in receptionist need to improve her social skills. Then we got to the room where the TV wasn't working and there was a wide gap in the bathroom door. Furthermore the bathtub was clogged. We felt uncomfortable to report due to the impression we got from the check in receptionist. In addition to that, we had to be out all day in order to get the most out of our trip, and when we got back to the hotel (which was usually pretty late) all we could do was sleep. However these are things they should've checked before they allowed guests to enter. Last but not least was the breakfast. We stayed for 4 days and ate basically the same thing due to the lack of variety. The only upside was the location. Nice walking distance from disney and had a view of the fireworks from some rooms.

"Comfortable and Convenient Disneyland Stay"

5
24/08/2017

Breakfast is served in a roomy lounge with balcony seating. Items are rotated and satisfied our family. Rooms are a little smaller than nearby BW Park Place, but large enough for our family of 4. Staff is friendly and helpful. We would like the comfort of an in-room safe. Very close to crosswalk to Disneyland.

"About a 5 minute walk to Disneyland"

23/08/2017

We were on the bottom floor and maybe these bedrooms need a refurb. We were in room 107. The bed was comfortable and it had everything that you would need for a stay, it was just a bit dated and smelled "old" when we first walked in. Breakfast was included and was very good. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hashbrown potatoes, toast, yoghurt, cereal, hot cakes with syrup a couple of choices of juice. These were just a few and they changed them around for other things for the days we were there. The people working there were very friendly and the vibe of the hotel was good. We had dinner a couple of times right next door in Tony Roma's and it was excellent.

"Convenient and clean!"

5
22/08/2017

Our room was comfortable and clean. Jeannette at the desk was professional and very helpful. The breakfast dining room was well appointed, clean, and a good continental breakfast. Even though there were plenty of seating inside there is a very lovely balcony were you can enjoy your meal, and watch the people below.

"Guest service outside of our initial arrival was terrible!! They need more clearly marked smoking areas as well."

Guest service outside of our initial arrival was terrible. They need more clearly marked smoking areas. We were confused as to where we could actually smoke and then got yelled at twice for being in the wrong area.

"Great location"

21/08/2017

The hotel is pretty nice. Rooms were clean and location is great - within walking distance to Disneyland. Breakfast was simple but good. There's a pool but we didn't have time to see it. The only complaint I have is that the door to our room wouldn't open. We arrived pretty late at night and it took twenty minutes to get a new key, which was a little annoying. Other than that we had a great stay and would stay here again.

17/08/2017

It was a very clean place outside and the room. Great location for Disneyland. My daughter and I had a great time in the pool, a little small, but it worked to cool off. Out of our hotel experiences this one has been one of the most pleasurable ones. My family and I had a great stay. Thank You.

"Great hotel for a great price"

5
16/08/2017

Right across the street from Disneyland. The hotel was under renovation and the staff went out if their way to make sure we were not bothered by any noise or parking problems. Perfect location for Disneyland. We will stay here again

"Great cousin Disneyland trip!!!"

5
14/08/2017

My sister and I together with our 6 teenagers stayed for 3 nights. Loved the hotel for the easy access to the parks e.g. Some could come back and chill while the rest of us stayed. Also the breakfast was great and convenient. Very quiet rooms which I was pleasantly surprised by. Clean. Nice staff. Overall exceeded my expectations.

"Great Location very good value"

13/08/2017

Right across from the Disneyland entrance. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. It is an older motel but all the rooms have been renovated. The full buffet breakfast was very good and had a good selection.

Outstanding location for Disney - just over the road from the main entrance. Could see the Disney fireworks from our 3rd floor room. Very comfortable bed in a spacious room. Can only use the car park up to 18:00 on the day of your departure. This caught us out so had to pay the Disney car park charge of $20 on our last day

I had a party of 20 on family trip to Disneyland. The staff was very accommodating to my extremely large group. Additionally, they were very nice and friendly. They provided a very nice continental breakfast.

"Easy access to Disney Parks"

5
08/08/2017

We found that this location is perfect if you are going to Disneyland & Calif. Adventure. I would highly suggest this location if you want to be in a very short distance from entrance. They are located next to a Denny's and have several other restaurants very close to hotel. They serve a very nice hot/cold buffet breakfast. We found our stay an all around great experience. We have stayed previously here and am booking a future trip for same location.

"Amazing!"

07/08/2017

We love this hotel! We have stayed at many hotels around Disneyland and this is by far the best! Wonderful staff, clean rooms, nice swimming pool, breakfast with many choices, and across the street from Disneyland!

right across the street from Disneyland is great and wonderful hot breakfast but the bathroom vanity was disgusting and found a couple crickets in the bathroom late at night. also terrible odor when air condition was cranked up.

"Wonderful Hotel"

5
04/08/2017

A great place to stay and so clond. The hotel staff was really wonderful and accommodating. Breakfast was ample and had lots of choices and great coffee. If you're looking for something nearby with great value, do not miss this. Best Western Anaheim Inn. Also great AC -- it was quite hot and humid during our stay and our hotel room was always a refreshing welcome home.

"Great Spot for a Quick Trip"

4
30/07/2017

Perfect location, great breakfast and wonderful friendly staff. The room had a fridge, great shower and bath area and was perfect for a refresh after Disney and to get some sleep. All of which make up for the out of date decor and tiny pool.

"Excellent Experience"

5
30/07/2017

Of course this hotel will get great reviews for the can't-beat-it proximity to Disneyland. But there's more to it: warm and friendly staff at the front desk and free breakfast. A lot of reviews focus on the noise coming from above if you're in 201 and 202. We were, and there is some foot traffic but who cares? You're heading to the park early anyway or sleeping in exhausted from the park. The light noise is no big deal when you take into account price, location and staff.

"Always return"

5
30/07/2017

This is our go-to hotel when we visit Disney west coast. The hotel is immaculate and you can't beat the location. Top it off with a great breakfast and a very good value, and it can't be beat! You are literally steps from crossing into the parks.

28/07/2017

I stayed with my husband and 2 kids. We really liked this hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The free breakfast was a great way to start our busy days at Disneyland. The location was great. We didn't have to drive anywhere. There were restaurants and stores within walking distance. The walk to Disneyland was only about 5 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

"Great Hotel so close to Disneyland."

5
27/07/2017

We had a great 9 night stay at the Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn. Only a 5 minute walk to the front gates of Disneyland, very convenient to family restaurants McDonalds, Ihop, Dennys, Cold Stone Ice Creamery, The Pizza Press, Tony Romas etc ... Room was clean and serviced daily throughout our stay, clean and comfortable beds. We used the pool and spa daily which was kept clean throughout. Pool towels are available in the pool area for use. Daily Breakfast Room was good with continental & hot options. Overall, we would stay here again ... We had a great experience.

"Great location for Disneyland visit"

5
27/07/2017

The hotel is located 5 mins walk from the main gate of Disneyland! This is the hotels biggest +, aside from that the hotel itself is also quite good. Breakfast was good and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The only problem with the room was the noisy AC and parking is limited when the hotel is crowded (July). said that, we arrived quite late and were still able to find a parking space. After that, if you are planing for Disneyland, you don't have to move you car :)

"Great Disneyland Hotel"

5
26/07/2017

By far this has been our best experience with a BW Disneyland area hotel. The breakfast is very good and has a lot of variety and the location is easy walk to the main entrances for both Disneyland and California Adventure. The location also provides parking up to 6 p.m. on checkout day which is great for not moving car and doing a quick visit to the parks.

"Outstanding location, great value for money."

5
26/07/2017

We based ourselves here for a trip to Disney and southern LA as well. You cannot beat the location of the hotel. The breakfast was pretty good and the hotel provided great value for money. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had all the facilities that you need. The hotel is certainly not five star, but for a family stay at Disneyland it is perfect. The pool was great for our kids and I found the staff extremely professional and friendly.

"Best Western Plus Anaheim"

26/07/2017

We were very pleased with our room and the breakfast. With the proximity to Disneyland, this hotel is a great value and we will definitely consider staying here again! We have made several trips to Anaheim, and this hotel was the closest we have ever been to the park gates.

"Perfect location"

12/07/2017

Perfect location for Disneyland. Great basic breakfast, rooms are a little dated but nothing wrong with them. We stayed in a room with 2 bedroom downside was there was no door on the second bedroom which was a little odd. Nice pool and spa can see fireworks from balcony.

"Excellent location but impossible to rest"

3
12/07/2017

We had an amazing suite with 3 beds which was perfect for our family. Unfortunately it was the room closest to stairs and the noise was unbearable starting 6am. People up and down the stairs chatting as if it was 9am, the employees were talking amongst them very loudly in the hallway even though we had the dnd sign on our door. Simply no respect for hotel guests still sleeping We arrived at breakfast room at 10:03 just for coffee and doors were already locked, they wouldn't open for me (I had my travel cup, we were heading to brunch seriously all I wanted was coffee. The lobby didn't offer coffee either The maid only left 5 towels though my room was booked for 6 people so that was annoying On the bright side the room was very spacious and it was very close to the light were you cross street into the parks We also were able to get our tickets at the hotel for the same online price which was awesome

"Minutes away from Disneyland."

4
11/07/2017

We were looking for a Hotel nearby Disneyland to spend as much time as possible at the Park. BW is literally across the Main Entrance. Takes less than 10 mins to walk it out. It was a perfect fit for our 1 day itinerary . The standard rooms are fitted with 2 comfortable beds , AC , a mini fridge and a microwave. They also offer complimentary wifi and free parking. Usually breakfast is included in the room charges itself and is not to be missed. Stuff yourself with toast , fruits , bagel , doughnuts, yoghurt, cold cuts , boiled eggs , cereal etc before heading for a exhausting day ahead !!

We needed a hotel close to Disneyland. Couldn't beat right across the street from the entrance. Several restaurants and stores within walking distance. We parked the car and never moved it till the tri was completed. Hotel was great, pool, location and breakfast. a successful trip.

"Close to Disney entrance"

05/07/2017

Great hotel for its location and service. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We forgot a personal item and the staff retrieved it and kept it at the front desk so we could come back and retrieve it. Rooms show age but overall a great place to get rested for your next day of fun at the parks.

"Great location and breakfast"

4
05/07/2017

This was a great location to walk to Disneyland entrance and the hot breakfast was very good. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was a bit on the small side, but beds were comfortable. The shower drain was clogged at first, but the staff fixed it. I would stay here again.

"Perfect location!"

5
04/07/2017

Just across the street from Disneyland. This was a terrific hotel for our family reunion! We were able to walk to Disneyland easily. My 6 yr old niece and my 73 yr old mother did not have much trouble with the walk because we were so close. The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable. Will stay here again the next time we have a Disneyland family reunion.

"Great location"

Within walking distance to Disneyland/California Adventures parks. Easy on and off the freeways. Complimentary breakfast is included. Nice pool and hot tub. Beds were very firm. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

"Great location!"

03/07/2017

The room and hotel were very clean, it's right across the street from Disneyland, great breakfast, easy parking and check in/out. We would definitely stay here again if we can get a good rate- it can be expensive.

"AC and drains"

2
28/06/2017

The AC never cooled the room, I reported it and nothing was done. The drain in the sink was stuck closed when we arrived in this room, the water could not drain. I had to pry it open and leave the plug out so we could use it. The drain in the bathtub was very slow as well and the shower head was broken. I was very surprised by all the issues this room had! I reported it all again and checkout and wasnt offered anything, not even an apology.

"Disneyland Stay"

5
26/06/2017

This hotel is a great option for a trip to Disneyland. While rooms are somewhat small, they are very clean and it's just steps away from the main entrance. They also provide a breakfast buffet in the mornings, which helped our family cut down on the food expense is the Park. People are friendly and helpful, and we are glad we chose this as our hotel to stay. Should we come back to Disneyland, we will definitely look to stay here again!

"Nice Hotel"

4
26/06/2017

Great Hotel if you are visiting Disneyland. This hotel is a little bit of a walk if you are going back and forth to the convention center; which is what we did. The hotel is going through interior renovations. I would recommend asking for a remodeled room. The gym was great and having the continental breakfast offered was very nice too.

"Great location for Disneyland but rooms need updating."

3
25/06/2017

Can't beat the location other than staying at a Disneyland hotel. The free breakfast was awesome. The staff was nice. One of our towels had makeup on it, not sure if we got fresh washed towels or not, kind of gross.

"Don't stay if you need to leave your car after check out to go to Disneyland"

3
22/06/2017

Every year we come to Disneyland from SD and every year we stay at a different hotel by the entrance (Park Vue, Candy Cane, Desert Inn, Del Sol). We arrive in the afternoon, stay the night, check out the next morning for an early start at Disney, pick our car up at end of the day and drive home. Every other hotel near the entrance can accommodate the car there for the full day after check out, which allows us to skip the hassle and expense of Disney parking lot, shuttle and crowds. The Best Western requires you to move your car by 6pm. Deal breaker! The staff are great, the rooms are fine, the pool is just right and its otherwise fine if you don't need this day of parking after you check out. (It's not unreasonable, it's just a competitive disadvantage compared to the neighbors.)

"disney trip"

5
19/06/2017

My family and I really enjoyed our stay this was the second time staying here. What we loved is that its just about a 5 min walk to Disneyland so we were able to go back and take a break from the park when the kids got tired also the free breakfast and free parking . I will be booking this hotel for all our future Disney trips.

"Way too small"

2
19/06/2017

This hotel has a nice staff, wonderful breakfast and an easy location to cross the street to Disneyland. But, you have to be a small person to sleep in their beds. This hotel uses only double beds. Way too small for the average person to sleep, especially if they are sharing the bed with another person, or child.

Sue E, Manager at Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn, responded to this review

"Love this Anaheim Hotel"

18/06/2017

For about 20 years I've stayed at this hotel whenever I go to Disneyland. It's right across the street from Disneyland; the staff is excellent; the accommodations are clean; the breakfast has a nice selection of items to pick from.

"It is the Queen of Disney Drive"

5
17/06/2017

It is the Queen of Disney Drive where you can open your curtains or still at the pool area the sound of Disney land will reach your ears. Just Cross the Street and Within 2 minutes you will be at the Disney Entrance, you have your favorite Denny's (within the compound) for a Salman Skillet within $13 with a Hot Lava Cake with a Vanilla on Top. You have a well- equipped Laundry Room and lovely (Hot) complimentary breakfast! It is such close to the Parks that, we can come back anytime whenever we feel tired and run to the park when we are re-charged. Simply, the Hotel is the Best of the Best starting from the Front Desk Service and Overall Security.

"Clean & great breakfast! "

4
15/06/2017

Was a little worried on the parking since it didn't seem like enough for everyone who was staying there, but we got a spot with no problem. Rooms are very clean, beds are soft and pillows are very nice. Breakfast was wonderful and a big perk for staying at this hotel for us. Plenty of space in the breakfast room and many different food choices. Close to Disney which is helpful on the tired walk back from the park. We will be back for sure!

"Great Spot for family Disney trip"

5
13/06/2017

Excellent hotel. Great location. Right across from Disneyland entrance. Restaurants next door. Very nice breakfast and staff was excellent. The free parking was very nice to have. Additional parking was available a couple of blocks away. Had a 3 bed/sofa bed room.

"Disneyland trip with family"

5
13/06/2017

My husband and I decided to take our daughter and grandkids to Disneyland for the day. Tho she lives within an hour's drive, with the traffic and wanting to see the nighttime activities, we decided overnight was our best option. I selected this Best Western hoping it was within walking distance. The price was soo reasonable, I was doubtful, but booked anyway... I am so glad I did. It is located right across the street from the main entrance. The breakfast was substantial and very tasty. Stayed in a suite and everything was clean and comfortable. Awesome mini vaca... Thanks BW

07/06/2017

Stayed in the two room suite. Wish it had a queen or king in the bedroom as the double is fine for kids but cramped for 2 adults. Beds were very comfortable tho. Rooms are getting a little dated and we had some funky issues with lighting but we were satisfied for the price. Noisy first night (we were at the stairwell and many people were loud on it and a baby was screaming in a room near us) but we heard very little the next 3. Wonderful breakfast selection, loved the potatoes. Professional staff. Location to DL is great. Plan to return next year.

We loved this hotel. It was so close to the park, making it easy to walk back after a long day of being on our feet. The hotel was nice and clean and had everything we needed for a four night stay. Checking in and out were both very easy and stress-free which I really appreciated.

29/05/2017

Stayed here for four nights and if you are looking for someplace convenient and safe, this hotel is it. I stayed alone since my family was on property and I think this was actually closer than their hotel. I didn't stay in the room for more than to sleep but there was always more than enough towels and amenities. Didn't have their breakfast but I took a coffee to go one day. Looked great for a free breakfast. I'll definitely stay here again. Thank you!

"Great value"

29/05/2017

Awesome location. Had a family member stay at a Disney hotel and they had to walk further to access the park than us. Very limited parking in tight spots, try to get there right on time for check in. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was awesome! Many options and changed daily. Even my picky eaters found something they liked.

"Close to Disneyland entrance."

If you're looking for a hotel close to Disneyland, this is your hotel. Breakfast was good and you can park there before heading into the magic kingdom. The downside is that the internet wifi didn't work nor did the cable. The ac system is old and either froze up and wouldn't cool or it had issues. After a long day at Disneyland the last thing you want to do is call staff at 10:00pm to fix the issues. I suggest you test these items prior to leaving for the day if you have the opportunity.

26/05/2017

This is a great hotel to stay in when visiting Disneyland. Its just about a 10 mins pleasant walk away. You can't get lost because you will see a whole host of Disney fun seekers headed that way! The room is a very good size because it had 2 queen sized beds! Toilet is also a very generous size. Bath area and wash basin area are separated though. Ample room for 4 - 5 adults to stay in. Beds are very comfy (after a whole day in Disney!) and firm. Breakfast is good and hearty. Everything one needs to get energised before heading for a day in Disneyland. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was a breeze.

Perfect spot for family of 4 to stay on vacation to Disneyland. Hotel breakfast was a huge time saver and really clean, with great selection of food in breakfast area. Staff was very friendly. Grandparents stayed in same hotel, was so close to main gate, which made it perfect place for afternoon rest, before going back into park. Other restaurants and ice shop right next to hotel. This is our go to Disneyland hotel.

"So convenient!"

"Across the main entrance to Disneyland"

21/05/2017

Nice pool, location, and breakfast area (with balcony). Rooms are a little small and beds are full size. Kids younger than 17 can stay for free if an adult is paying for a bed. No need to drive car to Disneyland, the park entrance is across the street. Overall nice hotel in a good location. Will definitely recommend.

"Great location right across from Disney, affordable and good breakfast selection."

Located right across the street from Disneyland, less than 5 minute walk to the gates! The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was included in the price. The was a good selection of hot and cold items for breakfast including eggs, cereal, yogurt, baked goods and fruit.

"Carpet in rooms were stained and unclean. Staff at front desk are rude and unhelpful especially the lady named "Jannet""

Booked for certain price but charge for higher the day before arrival. Make sure to check you bill carefully. Location is good, accross from the park. Unless you get the room all the way in the back of the building, noisey all day long.

"Best Location for Disneyland"

10/05/2017

We stayed 23/4/17 to 25/4/17. We had a standard room which consisted of two double beds. We were slogged with a hotel fee of $5USD p/ night. The staff were very helpful and were able to check us in early with NO EARLY FEE! Thank you! The room was clean and everything was in working order. There was enough room for our large suitcases. The hotel must have recently had some renovations as the bathroom looked fresh and clean. We started our Disneyland tickets on the day of check-in. We were so happy to find that Disneyland is a short 5 min walk across the road. It was in the most perfect location! We came in and out of the park to grab a jumper or drop off souvenirs we had purchased. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. We were full most of the day so we didn't have to spend money in Disneyland on food. The hotel had free Wi-Fi and laundry services onsite (for a fee) which was handy. Surrounding the hotel there are heaps of options for food, including Denny's, Pizza Shop & Ice Cream Shop. There was parking at the hotel... not sure if there is a fee as we didn't have a car. I would defiantly stay again! If you want an alternative to staying at an expensive Disney hotel Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn is your man.

So glad we chose to stay at this property. Fantastic location (3-5 minutes walk to Disneyland), super friendly staff, free WIFI (can be a bit slow at night), swimming pool & spa pool, free hot & cold breakfast, TV with lots of channels, very handy guest laundry, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Would definitely stay here again!

"Across the plaza from Disneyland! Perfect place."

Clean, convenient hotel. Stay 2 + nights so you can nap in the middle of the day when seeing Disneyland. Free parking and free breakfast a plus. There is a pool on-site, and you are next to a Denny's and several other restaurants. There's a fridge and microwave in the room, so leftovers can be used up & save $$.

The rooms could use some touching up but they were clean and comfortable as was the bed. I don't get the small pillows, though. A very good breakfast was provided. Not just cold things. Staff was friendly and helpful

Clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location to Disney Land entrance. Awesome full breakfast. Free fast Wi-Fi. A lot of tv Chanel options. Price is reasonable. Restaurants and convienence store within walking distance. Uber always ready to take you where you need.

This was recommended by family, and it didn't disappoint. Very close to the Main Gate, it took us about 3-5 minutes to be on the Disneyland property. Very nice breakfast room ( with a view of the park) and good food. We felt very safe and secure. One tiny problem with the bathtub and it was fixed immediately. Nice staff and workers. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for the price, location, and comfort levels of the rooms.

"Been staying here for the last 7 years...."

29/04/2017

We have been staying here at this hotel for the past 7 years..... the 1st time we stayed here the staff was amazing... and the manager Martha was so courteous.... and Sue was very gracious and helpful also.... I have recommended this location to many family and friends and all have stated that they will stay there again. I always look forward to seeing all the employees there when we arrive.... they are always very friendly and helpful with any needs that we may have.

"Great location - exactly what we needed for our trip to Disneyland!"

27/04/2017

The location is perfect - right across the street from Disneyland! There are restaurants nearby for when you are tired after a long day. The full breakfast was great, and the room where you eat is spacious. Too often, the breakfast areas at hotels are cramped and too small. This area was clean and well-staffed. The rooms were clean - overall, the hotel was a great value!

"Great Value & Terrific Location to Disneyland"

This motel is an excellent value for the money and is right across the street from the main entrance to Disneyland which was super convenient for us to get back & forth with our grandsons! We all really enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub!

My family and I stayed at this hotel last September 2016. I roomed with my mom who has mobility issues. We had ordered a scooter that was supposed to have arrived at the hotel before we got there. By about 3pm the scooter still hadn't arrived and we we anxious to get into Disneyland! The ladies at the front desk were so helpful. They called up another scooter company that they had good dealings with and they had that scooter there within an hour. We loved the breakfast. There was lots of variety for kids and adults. The breakfast balcony has a nice view of Disneyland which is right across the street. I loved watching families and cast members walking to the park in the morning while I sipped my coffee. The pool was great. We were there during a heatwave, so in the afternoon we would come back to the hotel for a swim. It was never very busy. Since it was so hot, the A.C. in our rooms did have a bit of a hard time keeping up. The rooms are not fancy. Don't expect a new hotel! But it worked just fine for us. I would definitely stay here again because of the wonderful staff and the fabulous location! Soo close to Disneyland! We were there during the Disney Halloween party. It was fun to be able to see the fire works from the hotel.

"old run down buiding"

25/04/2017

this building is old and needs a complete tear down. room are dark and dingy. Spiders etc enter through poorly sealed window unit a/c unit. Door to outside has poor seals as well. A/c unit is a window shaker, very loud can't hear the tv. bathroom is old paint peeling from humidity, ventilation fan in bathroom is a loud industrial type fan. Old style drapes and curtains from the 60's. This is a typical amusement park old hotel that should be leveled and a new one built. This will never happen since it directly across from Disney and room are always sold out. I assume this was an original hotel that was built 61 years ago when disney was built . Please look for another hotel.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
Thank you for your recent review of the Best Western PLUS Anaheim Inn. I am so sorry that the room was not up to your standards. We are currently remodeling our rooms and would love to have you come and stay again. Please feel free to call me directly to talk about your next reservation.

"Great spot for Disney!"

17/04/2017

If you are spending multiple days at Disney this is a perfect spot to get a good night sleep or to recharge of an afternoon before going back in the evening. It's nothing fancy - very basic, but the location is perfect. Couple of minutes walk to the entrance. We felt very safe in this area, and a couple of nights we walked back after 11pm with no problems. All staff that we came in contact with were very nice and helpful, especially the reception staff. The room we had was basic with two double beds. The cleaners were awesome and did such a great job each day - so nice to come back to after a long day at Disney. The room did get a bit of noise from outside, especially with other families walking past early of a morning or evening, but honestly we were so exhausted from long days at Disney that it didn't bother us. Breakfast was average, hot and cold selections, and very processed (however a lot of the other guests seemed to be enjoying the food, so it might come down to what you are used to eating for breakfast). The dining area was very clean, pleasant atmosphere and tables were well spaced out. We did appreciate the large red apples!

"Pleasantly surprised "

17/04/2017

We had stayed at another hotel nearby and since I had been disappointed, I decided to book here for a single night. Although the pillows and bed aren't the most comfortable, the staff was friendly and their breakfast was well worth it. My son and I decided to stay an extra night! We enjoyed the pool and the quiet at night. Will definitely book here again

"great for the budget minded"

16/04/2017

I was pleased with the location, the free breakfast was great, the pool and hot tub were not crowded. The room was a little tight for 4. My kids are 11 & 12. Easy walk to Disney. There are several restaurants close by- Panera, McDonalds. Tony Roma's, & Cold Stone. I would stay here again. The shower pressure wasn't that great, but everything was clean, and the staff were courteous.

"Gateeway to Disneyland"

Nice room, clean and ready for us early. Might have preferred queen rather than full beds but everything else made up for it. Good breakfast selection. Very Very short walk to Disneyland. We would stay here again.

"A Bit Tired but great location"

16/04/2017

We stayed 3 nights in a dbl room. This hotel/motel is across the road from the Disneyland entrance. We arrived from LA at about 8.30AM and the friendly staff processed paperwork then stored our luggage allowing us to go straight to Disneyland. The hotel is dated and dark but was clean and had all that we needed including a laundry room. There is restaurants at Downtown Disney as well as some around the hotel including Denny's next door. It can get a bit noisy as it has a long external path/balcony with people going past with rolling cases... on concrete. We had complimentary standard Best Western breakfast included and it provided enough variety for us. We caught the LuxBus to Las Vegas and the bus stop was conveniently about 4 hotels up, outside other Best Western hotel.

"Was perfect for our trip!"

13/04/2017

I was so pleased with this hotel experience. It was so nice to be so very close to Disneyland! WOW! Parked the car for two days and walked everywhere we wanted to go in 10 minutes or less! Clean rooms and kind employees. It seems like the employees are not just workers, but proud of the job they do every day! I would stay there again and again. It will be my "go to" from now on.

"Great place to stay, just steps from Disney!"

09/04/2017

My family enjoyed every part of our stay at this Best Western. We usually stay at BW Stovalls (which is really nice too) but this location suited us much better. Not having to take the ART shuttle was such a relief....no waiting, no wondering if everyone is going to fit, no fee. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, room was super clean. This BW is literally steps from the crosswalk that takes you across Harbor Blvd into the main gate of Disney. Don't hesitate to stay here!

"Great location and stay!"

08/04/2017

We brought our 5 kids for a 4 night stay to Disneyland. We wanted a hotel very close for afternoon breaks and naps. We also wanted a hotel that served a hot breakfast. We were very happy with the location, cleanliness of the hotel and the quality of the breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, very impressed and happy with our stay.

"Perfect place for families visiting Disney!"

5
07/04/2017

We stayed here for a 5 day family trip to Disneyland and will definitely be coming back! Hotel location is great- right across the street from Disneyland! Rooms were pretty spacious and clean. They had mini fridges and microwaves. Breakfast was wonderful! They had hot breakfast options- eggs, sausage, pancakes potatoes- as well as yogurt and lots of bagels, doughnuts and toast. More importantly, everyone from the front desk to the breakfast servers to the housekeepers were very friendly and helpful. Also, on the day we checked out our flight didn't leave till later in the afternoon and the hotel let us do late check out! All in all, great place for a fair price!!!! We will be back!

"Amazed with everything!"

From start to finish, everything about tgis hotel was perfect. We go to disneyland a few times a year and never atayed at this hotel. We will be here for now on everytime we vistit anaheim. Best of all, its right across the street from thw resort.

"Just what we needed"

4
03/04/2017

I read a lot of reviews trying to pick a hotel for our Disney trip. This hotel fit the bill and did not disappoint. I picked it because 1) Easy walking distance to Disney parks. 2) I could get a room with three beds (one for me and my husband, one for our son, and one for our daughter), so no one was sleeping on the floor. 3) Full hot breakfast was included. 4) Parking was included (through 6pm on the day of checkout). 5) Bonus - We could see the Disney fireworks from the balcony. We did not use the pool (which was very small), nor did I expect to, nor did we spend much time in the room. All we did at the hotel was sleep there, park there for 3.5 days, and eat breakfast there. It was perfect for what we needed. Oh, and the beds were comfortable, and (after fireworks, etc.) it was fairly quiet. We would pick this hotel again.

"Great breakfast, good rooms and great price"

5
26/11/2016

This hotel is so close to Disneyland (over the crosswalk and to the right...maybe a 5 minute walk to Disney gates), has very decent rooms and a great breakfast! The breakfast is more than a continental breakfast...scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, yogurt, etc!

"Awesomeness"

4
21/11/2016

My family and I had a great experience. The staff were exceptional. They were courteous, helpful, friendly and professional. Customer service was beyond amazing. Other then the rooms being a bit out dated, it was still a very comfortable stay and I would definitely recommend this property.

"Across the street from Disneyland"

5
18/11/2016

This is the fourth property that I've stayed at across the street from Disneyland and was my favorite. It's clean, the beds are comfortable and wasn't very noisy as we didn't hear any neighbors through the walls throughout our stay. The decor is a little outdated, but it wasn't a big issue for us. Besides the 5 minute walk to the park, parking is included as is breakfast which are both big perks. The breakfast room is on the third floor (some other reviews have noted it being loud underneath, so if you want to avoid that, ask not to be in rooms 201, 202 and 203). We were in room 206 on the second floor, so it was a quick walk up the stairs to get there and it wasn't noisy at all. They have a good amount of options including both hot and cold. The hot options varied on the days we were there, but included scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pancakes and french toast sticks. Cold items included cereal, pastries, bagels, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. They also had juice, water, coffee and tea. The food itself was pretty average, but it's hard to complain when you're not paying any extra for it. It's also great to start off your morning with a big breakfast before heading to the parks. Also, if you plan on bringing water bottles into the parks, you can also fill them up here with cold water. We also used the pool one afternoon and we were the only ones there. The pool is small, but since it was only us it was plenty big. They also have a hot tub and outdoor showers and a bathroom too. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely consider staying here again on our next Disneyland vacation.

"excellent value; very convenient"

15/11/2016

We stayed here 3 nights. We had a week of events planned in the SF area. It was an affordable UBER ride into the city and from there we took all public transportation with ease. Some reviews on this hotel don't give this property justice. It is a bit dated BUT the property is very well kept and completely clean!! The food at the on site restaurant was very good and the bar staff was enjoyable! Thanks Rosa! The front desk was superb and helped us with a city tour. Great free shuttle to the airport. We highly recommend you book direct through the Best Western website and you should become a member of BW. It is free to join and we for sure got the best price based on what were heard from other guests at the front desk. (Sorry 3rd parties.) McDonalds across street for convenience as well as an IHOP, gas station, and Houlihan's all walking distance.

"Great location"

5
11/11/2016

I stayed at this hotel with my adult kids and found it to be perfect. Great location right across the street from Disneyland. Breakfast was great with eggs sausage and assortied items. Great coffee. Bed were comfy. The only downside might be the parking. We did find a spot but once we found it we did not want to leave and lose it. Parking is a little tight but loved this hotel and would stay there again.

"Excellent Hotel"

5
03/11/2016

Excellent place to stay. Across the street from Disneyland and some good eateries. Breakfast selection was plentiful with a selection of eggs, ham / sausage, potatoes, waffles / pancakes pastries and more. Nice room with all the amenities. Would recommend. Just don't leave a wake up call with the front desk lady at night or try to use the in room phone. Set the alarm clock.

"Large Family Vacation"

5
01/11/2016

My family of twelve went to Disneyland. This hotel offered all that we needed. It was within walking distance to Disney and several restaurants. We were able to get three rooms close together, the breakfast was really good, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We were all very pleased and would recommend staying here.

"Always a pleasure"

31/10/2016

Whenever I plan a trip to Disneyland I book my rooms at the Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn. Not only is it in a perfect location (right across the street), but the staff and the breakfast are wonderful. Elizabeth at the front desk is the best!

"Bring Ear Plugs"

25/10/2016

When checking into hotel, TELL reception staff to not put you in 201!!!!! This room is directly underneath the breakfast buffet lounge. You'll be woken up promptly at 6am with noises from chairs being dragged across floor. People running or walking very heavily across the room. These noises go for 4hrs till 10am. So if you want to something besides an alarm clock to get you out of bed, request this room; otherwise avoid it like THE PLAGUE!!!!! I would've given an overall rating for this hotel/motel 4-stars for the value and proximity to Disneyland. BUT the fact I wasn't informed/warned about the 4-HRS of noise I would be subjected to brought it down to 2-star/slightly below average overall rating.

"Disneyland trip"

3
24/10/2016

This hotel is directly across the street from Disneyland. It is under renovation so be aware of limited rooms available. The parking lot is designed to allow the cars for each room not the additional construction trash/equipment. If you need a wheel chair during your stay at Disneyland I would recommend having it delivered to the hotel. You will add to the comfort of the person needing the wheelchair. Disneyland wheelchairs do not go to downtown Disney or off property.

"The place to stay if visiting Disney Land"

5
22/10/2016

We booked into this motel for five days with our two granddaughters for our three day visit to Disney. The motel is situated across the road from the Disney Park with an easy ten minute walk to the main entrances. The motel has a good swimming pool, complete with beach sized towels for personal use. If required, a very clean laundry (coin operated) is available. A generous hot or cold breakfasts are included its rates. The ever popular Denny's restaurant and other restaurants are all in close proximity.

"Good breakfast, prompt service, okay rooms, value for money"

4
19/10/2016

Just across the street from the Disneyland gate. 1. the complimentary breakfast spread is really good. From bagels, to pastries fruits and yogurt and waffles they had it all. You can sit on the balcony in case it gets too hot inside. 2. The rooms were big but a bit shady for my liking. 3. The bathrooms were clean but small and has a bit of a water logging issue. 4. however the stuff was very prompt and resolved the problems. Good value for money hotel.

"Great value"

5
18/10/2016

This hotel is a great value for the money and location among other things. It is located about 100 mts from Disney's entrance. The breakfast included is great and perfect for starting your day before entering Disney. The staff is very helpful and you can use the pc to print your boarding pass or plane ticket etc. With no extra charge. You can notice that the hotel has been refurnished. The cleanliness is great. I would recommend this hotel.

"our stay with Best Western Plus"

17/10/2016

Well, my family and I were very excited to make our way to USA< a trip of a lifetime, hence trying to find a accommodation for my family of 6 was at first daunting. I always like to plan in advance and so off I went to find the best accommodation. The reason why I chose this place was because it was just across the road from Disneyland. Way too easy and so convenient. We were very happy about the service received and we loved it. The unit was clean and tidy! The only thing that we felt it was strange was trying to figure out how to work the shower took awhile to get used to, which was abit annoying and time consuming but other than that we are looking forward to staying there again because who wants to travel far just to get to one of the most amazing places to see.

"Great place to stay"

5
14/10/2016

My family and I stayed here for five nights while visiting Disneyland, Disneyland California Adventure, and Universal Studios. Loved it! Great customer service, clean rooms, free hot breakfast, and super close to the Disneyland entrance... what's not to love? The front desk personnel was able to accommodate an early check-in. Housekeeping always did a good job. Our housekeeper would arrange the kids' stuffed animals so nicely on the beds; that really amused the kids. When our toilet clogged, maintenance came within five minutes after we called. Every worker always greeted my family and me with a smile and "good morning" or "hello." I would definitely stay here again.

"Walk to Disneyland"

5
12/10/2016

5 minute walk to Disneyland. Hotel is situated that if your room is on the top floor you can see the fireworks from Disneyland without leaving the hotel grounds. Short trek to Denny's Restaurant or McDonald's, which we eat at before going to Disneyland. Much cheaper than eating in the parks. You can take a shuttle from LAX to the front door of this hotel-skip the rental car if you are only going to the parks. Great breakfast, great pool. There is also a 2 room suite available.

"Great Location, clean and comfortable"

5
11/10/2016

Family of 6 had 2 adjoining rooms in September and can't complain the rooms where nice and clean, beds were comfortable and the location for Disneyland and California Adventure Park was great. Service was good, pool was clean and gym was only small but handy still. Would definitely stay here again if we were looking for something in the area.

"Great Location, Breakfast and Staff"

5
11/10/2016

Pros: Easy walk back from the Disney Parks to rest up. Simple, but has everything you need. Good variety at breakfast to get the day started. Well lit at night. Con: Parking is tight! Walls are very thin, could hear people next door having conversations late at night.

"Don't stay here"

2
11/10/2016

Don't stay at this hotel you will be very disappointed with the rooms and the staff seems to like lying to the guests. The bathrooms had bugs in them. Only positive was the breakfast and the breakfast staff.

"Ideal location, Bonus Facilities, Excellent Staff!"

5
03/10/2016

Ideal if visiting Disneyland (5 minute walk), bonus gym, outside pool and jacuzzi. Great choice at breakfast and parking is available. Local shops and restaurants also with great choice. The staff go the extra mile, phoning the room daily to see if everything is ok and if you need anything, I've never witnessed this anywhere else. Would definitely stay here again. If you were asking me to pick any gripe, the beds could be comfier, but thats only if you were asking.

"Wonderful customer service with close proximity to Disneyland"

5
01/10/2016

Went to Disneyland with a friend and her daughter. We had a wonderful time, excellent breakfast every morning and most importantly such a short walk across the street to Disneyland. Rooms we're clean and well kept. I appreciate the follow up call after our stay to make sure our room change/upgrade worked for us - it really did! Thank you Best Western, we will be back!

"Great Value and Great Location"

5
01/10/2016

We stayed here for 7 nights for the Disneyland Half Marathon in the 2 room King suite. The room was newly updated with brand new bedding (which was extremely comfortable). A very spacious room, clean and great value. The location was also perfect, especially after long days at Disney, it was great to be able to walk across the road to the hotel. Check-in was a very smooth and quick and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and spa area were great (especially after running the half marathon), the area is a little smaller then some hotels but does the job. Breakfast was also great, plenty of hot and cold options which were constantly been topped up by the staff. The only con I have is that although it is a 2 room suite there isn't a door separating the 2 rooms, not a big deal but just something to be aware of. We will definitely return to this hotel on one of our future Disney trips.

"Ideal for Disney"

4
28/09/2016

10 min walk from downtown Disney. Free car parking. Nice outdoor pool area. Garage next door that sells beers and ciders, ideal for relaxing with near the pool. Simple breakfast provided. Rooms clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. We travelled from Vegas that day and the trafic wasnt as bad as we had allowed for. We where allowed to check in 2 hours early. As everyone was at Disney the hotel was really quiet during the day Would stay again if in the area

"Excellent hotel for Disney"

4
25/09/2016

We stayed here for three nights whilst visiting Disneyland and were very happy with our choice. It is opposite the parks so super easy to walk to. The longest park of the walk is waiting for the pedestrian lights to go green!! Parking was free which was rare in the area so a great bonus. The breakfast was fine, it had a good selection but we preferred the ihop next door! The room was large and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would happily return.

"Great place to stay while at Disney!"

4
25/09/2016

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the distance to Disneyland was perfect! An easy walk, especially after a long day. The breakfast was very nice, the pool is clean and was nice to cool off in after a long day. The employees were all very kind and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the beds, not very comfortable at all.

"Great Location!"

23/09/2016

My friend suggestion we stay here and I'm so glad she did. We were only doing a short disneyland stay and for a little bit more money, than one night on property, we stayed here TWO nights. It made getting into the park so much easier. We drove down on Friday night, stayed the night, got up and went to Disneyland on Saturday. We left the park during nap time, got our hands stamped, and went to the Denny's near the hotel. There was also an IHOP and other places super close by. We ate at IHOP too (I actually think that was right by the hotel). We ate lunch off property and then relaxed at our hotel for a bit before going back out later with our toddler. Everyone at the hotel was super nice. If we had stayed on property at Disney it would have ended up costing us more money. I think we'll do that when she's older but this worked beautifully for our first trip. All in all we stayed two nights in Anaheim and bought two adult tickets for what one night at the cheapest Disney hotel & our tickets would have cost. I think it worked out well for us! We also had three beds, two tvs, and a bathroom. Fridge, microwave, and I wanna say coffee pot were also included. We didn't use any of them but it was nice they were there if you were doing a longer trip. Super close to the entrance and food -- would def stay here again.

"close to park entrance"

3
22/09/2016

average rooms that are clean and beds are comfortable. Price is a bit higher than nicer hotel down the street but this hotel is directly across the street from Disney parks. Breakfast was good with large selection of items with hot items also. Parking with permit good until 6 pm on day of checkout but not good for large work vehicles. Had a maintenance employee enter our room without permission to let someone in by mistake. Protect your belongings while staying here. Lots of resturants close by.

"great hotel to stay at"

17/09/2016

Tis is a great hotel, close to Disneyland and next door to restaurants. We had a lovely room and very nice people are there to help us enjoy the stay. Nice rooms, quiet, friendly. Pool and hot tub. Have stayed there numerous times and always the best quality.

"Best Western Anaheim Review"

5
15/09/2016

I have thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Best Western Anaheim Hotel for many years. It's conveniently located a block away from Disneyland, has great staff members, nice accommodations, and good value for the price.

"Short visit "

4
12/09/2016

The rooms are a but shabby but the location is a plus. It's a stone throw away from Disneyland. Breakfast is for free. If you're traveling for long and needed to do your laundry it's really cheap here. The best part of the hotel is the location as there are many restaurants around the area.if you're looking for a luxury hotel do not book here. If you want to be practical and just have a comfortable sleep ask for s room upstairs so you won't hear the. Owning and going of the cars. All in all it was still a good experience.

"Disneylands Best Neighbour"

12/09/2016

Just a short walk across the road to Downtown Disney, Disney's California Adventure and Disneyland. The location is close to a number of restaurants, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfasts are ample and varied,

"Perfect Disneyland Location"

3
11/09/2016

This hotel is literally across the road from the entrance to Disneyland and in short walking distance to a good range of restaurants and other eating places. The room was simple, but clean and comfortable. On the down side, our room was directly below the dining room so as soon as 6.30 am came and breakfast began the scraping of chairs proved a very successful alarm. Regardless, we were there to do the Disney parks so it was fit for purpose.

"Very Pleased"

5
10/09/2016

We were at this hotel for the 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend and couldn't have been much happier with our stay. All the staff we encountered were friendly. They had snack bags out in the lobby at 5am each day for the race participants and kept the breakfast area open late on half marathon day so that we could have food when we got back after the race. The location is almost perfect, as the entrance to Disneyland is half a block away and across the street. The free breakfast has plenty of hot and cold choices. And free parking! We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip. The price and the location can't be beat.

"Nice hotel with amazing staff"

4

We only stayed 4 nights but really liked the hotel! Reception staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, can't thank them enough! The pool was lovely and the hot tub was bliss after a long day! The breakfast food was the usual spread but tasty, and the breakfast room had an outdoor balcony overlooking the street which was nice! The hotel was clean, well maintained and in a great location for Disney! Would recommend!

"Disneyland on your doorstep"

Stayed August/September 2016 - 4 Adults for 5 nights. A perfect location for Disneyland access. A short 5-7min walk to the security checkpoint of the parks. Located on the side of the park which has less popular access and as such the wait at security is not as long as the Downtown Disney side. The hotel has the ability to sell Disneyland tickets. Unfortunately they did not sell the 5 day park hopper I was after; but they did recommend us to walk next door to the Discount Tickets & Tours shop which sold the 5 day ticket at a discount. The hotel has free car parking and a self service laundry which is always handy and welcomed. The complimentary breakfast was a perfect start for a day at the parks. Options of hot breakfast items, cereals, yogurts, bagels, muffins, toast, pastries and donuts. They also had warm tortillas for self made breakfast burrito. Choice of hot and cold drinks as well as fresh fruit. This hotel is the perfect place to stay for a Disneyland holiday. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

"Always Great!"

Close to Disneyland Resort. Always clean and the staff is excellent. We stay here at least 2 times a year reserving 2-5 rooms each time. Breakfast is perfect! Price is right. You cannot beat this motel. Good for all ages.

"Good deal for Disney races"

06/09/2016

The hotel was reasonably priced and within walking distance of Disneyland. The faucet in my bath tub was leaking - but to be fair, I did not report it until check-out. The bedding (sheets and blanket) were coarse and uncomfortable, but the beds themselves were actually pretty comfortable. The breakfast was pretty impressive, with waffles or pancakes, ham or sausage, eggs, and potatoes (and not greasy ones!) The hotel even extended the breakfast until 11 a.m. on the morning of the half marathon, which was great. The hotel also provided to-go bags (water, granola bar, and apple) to take with us to the race. The parking was included in the rate, although there was a small ($5) resort fee. If you want a good breakfast, but don't want to spend a lot of $ and don't need a lot of other frills, I'd suggest this hotel.

"Can't get closer to the magic"

01/09/2016

Had a 2 night stay here to visit Disneyland, literally a 5 minute walk to the gates. The rooms are basic but for a base there perfectly fine, the buffet breakfast included was good. If you have a room on the 3rd floor you get a perfect view of the fireworks from the balcony if you don't want to stay late in the park. So glad we stayed here as it is so close and after a long day in the parks it's nice to be in your room before most people are in the car park.

"Front Gate Access to Disneyland"

29/08/2016

This was our second time returning to Disneyland within the last two years. Our first time staying at this hotel. The room was very spacious for a family of four with two teenagers. The bedding was very nice and the firm mattress offered a good night rest after a day of walking. Excellent breakfast buffet; far better than the normal continental breakfast offered by other hotels. Free parking for hotel guest. Front of the gate access to Disneyland. Definitely will return to this hotel.

We were visiting Disneyland for five days and the fact that the hotel was just across the street was a big deal. The rooms were very quiet. You never heard any shower noise or voices. The breakfast was large and covered many food groups.

"Consistently clean and welcoming"

This hotel never disappoints. Friendly staff, clean hotel, inside and out. The beds are top notch and always provide a comfortable night's rest. The breakfast always seems to have new things added; love the new oatmeal/yoghurt "bar"! This has been my 'go to' Anaheim hotel for the past few years, and I never consider any other hotel!

The location can't really be beat. This location is not quite as nice as the Park Vue Inn, but since they are both so close who can ask for a better location. The room was on the lower floor as requested at time of reservation, the breakfast was hot/filling. I just did not like that they wouldn't allow food to be taken to the room

"Great stay, clean, wonderful staff"

22/08/2016

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Disneyland. It was a perfect location, just a little less than a block to the pedestrian crosswalk into the parks. Very clean and well run. Desk staff was very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. Nice breakfast, too.

Location is prime they need to add dinning room for guest who are there to spend more time at Disney. bath tub are out dated might as well make them to shower only/ Add shuttle to go to Disney down town would be supper ideal.

"Close, but not very good"

3
21/08/2016

Our room was not very clean and we found the lady at reception was rather unwelcoming. They charge a so called "resort fee" of $5 per night which is clearly just an unfair way of offering a good rate on price comparators and then slapping on an extra charge. The person at reception just knows this is going to poison the relation with the new customer, hence the withdrawn attitude. It would be so much better to be honest and square by including this upfront. Otherwise, it couldn't be closer to the park entrance and the complimentary breakfast is good. Because of the unclean room, we would not choose to stay here on another visit.

"The best and the worst hotel in Anaheim"

4
19/08/2016

This is a very difficult hotel to review. I think it is the best hotel in Anaheim and perhaps also the worst. Let's start with why I think it is the worst: The hotel feels like it is even build before Disneyland opened back in 1955. Americans are not used to very old building like we are in, for instance Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where people still live in building from the early 17th century. But this hotel in Anaheim is close to being that old. The bathroom door hardly fits and barely closes, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. The floors are made out of cardboard and you can feel when a nearby guests steps out of his bed. When you close the door, the air pressure almost pushes out the windows. I doubt that this hotel will survive any serious earthquake. The garbage truck visits the hotel and all surrounding hotels in the very early hours, so you can hear it picking up the garbage from all hotels and the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. So now the good part: Location, location, location!!! It is directly opposite the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure. Just step out of the hotel, cross the street and you are basically there. Even the Disney Hotel is not this close to the entrance. This is a great location to drop off all the nice merchandise you bought at Disneyland before you head back and watch the fireworks. Or just refresh. Or just pick up a charged battery pack for your camera, you forgot that morning. You can park your car at the hotel for free and you do not need it anymore until you leave. When you stay late at Disneyland, it can become very busy getting back to the parking lot. But before the first people arrive back at that parking lot, you are already back in your hotel. Besides that, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable enough although the airco makes more noise than cold air, so you better turn that thing on while you are away and prepare your room for the night. So now you understand why this is the worst and the best hotel. If you are a big Disney fan and you spend all your time in the two parks, this hotel is great. If you think about this hotel for just visiting Los Angeles … skip it.

"Fine Stay, Great Location"

17/08/2016

This was our first stay at this location. I believe the value was great for the location to Disneyland. We stayed on the first floor as we were arriving late and tired. Our room was quiet and comfortable. AC worked well and helped block out any outside noise. I am glad they have a window that opens in the bathroom to allow ventilation from the shower. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and nice to have fridge and microwave. Only complaint about the room is it needs updating (but hear they are working on that) and cleaning the carpets should happen more often. I always wear slippers at hotel stays but it was much needed in our room. Breakfast was good, many choices. Filled us up before going to Disneyland each day. I didn't mind that you could not take food out. They did let me take my coffee out with me. I enjoyed the yogurt selection, not just one kind but a variety. My husband liked the build a breakfast sandwich and my Son loved the donuts. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage in storage on our last day as we were leaving in late evening. We left a bag (our fault) and they were quick to call us. We picked up a day later. Parking was tight but we found a few open spots at 10:30pm upon our arrival. We returned our rental car the next morning so I don't know if parking is easy through out the day. I would stay here again if visiting Disneyland.

"Front desk"

5
13/08/2016

We booked a suite through Verizon rewards and there was an issue with the room but Vivian and Laura at the front desk were very helpful and very patient as I made calls to clear up the confusion with Verizon. They took care of the issue ASAP and were so helpful and apologetic for the issue even though it was not their fault. Both were kind polite and patient and smiled the hole time.

"Disney fun"

10/08/2016

This was our 3rd stay here in 5 years ,with a family of 5 , for some much needed relaxation. Price and proximity to Disneyland makes this Best Western a no brainer selection .... Only drawback is rooms need some updating, but were clean and comfy regardless.

"Great place to stay"

5
08/08/2016

Made a reservation last minute and thought that would be a problem. But the staff took great care of me and my family. The hotel was perfect because it was in walking distance. I was happy with how helpful all the staff was. They were able to answer all questions and were very friendly while assisting me. I would defiantly recommend this hotel and will defiantly be staying there again.

"You can walk to Disneyland"

02/08/2016

Great location. A short walk across the street from Disneyland. Check in was fast and easy. Very friendly and helpful staff. There's a computer with printer in the lobby so you can check in and print your boarding passes for your flight home. Rooms were clean and efficient. There's a fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room. Free breakfast which was good. I would stay here again.

"Great location across the street from Disneyland"

01/08/2016

The best part about this hotel is that it's across the street from Disneyland. It's convenient because you can just walk over and take a break after a long day at the park. The rooms don't face Disneyland though so you probably cant get a good view of the fireworks from your room. Other than that it's a fairly average Best Western with free breakfast in the morning. Our room seemed kind of small for being two beds. Especially the bathroom was tiny.We were just two adults and one teen and we did fine for the most part but I could see a family with kids struggling in here. Our room was very clean though and the beds even seemed new. I took off a star for the price ($200/night). I've stayed in Best Westerns that were much nicer and cheaper but I'm sure it's because this one is so close to Disneyland. We did have a great stay though and we might stay here again.

"Family style hotel"

29/07/2016

Was clean with all amenities. Furnishings were a bit dated. Very much a family style Inn. Breakfast was ok but not up to standards of other hotels we have been too. Was very hot and A/C was adequate but not as cool as I would have liked.

"Great Hotel Close to Disneyland"

5
29/07/2016

We loved this hotel. Really close to Disneyland and great breakfast. The pool is really small but if you plan to spend your whole time at Disney, it is not that important. Our kids still had fun swimming in it in the evenings.

"Too Convient For Disney"

5
28/07/2016

This is an old style hotel, which does require to be updated. However, talking to staff members, they are in the process of updating their rooms. This was good news, as we have stayed here every year that we have visited Disneyland. On inspection of the bathroom, we noticed that there was some damage to the bath. They asked if we wanted to change rooms to the upgraded rooms, which we declined as the bath was fixed the next day. There is a moderatly sized breakfast buffet, that would set you up for the day, and a fitness room if walking around Disneyland is not for your liking. One issue is the tight parking situation, which made parking the car difficult when the most of the spaces were taken. The big plus is how close it is to the Disneyland Resort, which is the main tourist attraction in the area. Overall, it is a clean, comfortable hotel, with friendly staff. A great, and cheaper alternative to hotels of the Disneyland Resort. We will continue to stay here for future visits.

"excellent location. perfect for families"

5
25/07/2016

we stayed for 4 nights on this visit, and if you are looking for the perfect location for Disneyland...this is it! A 4 minute walk from the entrance to the park, which (when kids get tired) is a godsend. we arrived at 12:00pm expecting to have to leave our bags in storage until check in time...but our room was ready for us! Another bonus with this location is that we were able to leave at the hottest time of the day, have a swim, then get back to the park quickly. Pool was fairly small, but clean. Could have done with it being a little colder actually as it was so hot outside!. Room was adequate, since you won't be spending a lot of time in it anyway. we did have an issue with the hand sink not draining (plug got stuck). But it was fixed by the time we got back to the room. You may find rooms a bit cheaper, but they will be further away and you will waste time and money, walking or waiting for shuttles and buses. This is the place to stay!

"Close to Disneyland Gate"

5
24/07/2016

It is just a 2 to 3 minutes walk to the entrance gate of Disneyland. It is nice to go back to the hotel room and have a rest have lunch or dinner and back again to the park. Food at the park is expensive. Room is clean and housekeeping is done every day. Breakfast is superb. . . Good breakfast! Will be back again for sure!

"Great location for Disneyland"

3
22/07/2016

You can't beat the location from Disneyland (across the street from the west entrance); easy walking distance. I was attending a conference at the Disneyland Hotel, on the east side, and even that was a tolerable walking distance. The new complimentary breakfast area is very pleasant with good (hot) food selections, a cut above the typical continental breakfast. The room itself was clean and basic with the usual amenities. It was nice to have the refrigerator and microwave, which helps with the food expenses.

Enjoyable stay highly recommended. Was a relief to arrive after a very long flight to relax in the spa pool. Very conveniently placed just across the road from Disneyland to have a break and then return for the night parade and fire works. Breakfast menu gave variety, handy laundry facilities for guests to use, staff were very friendly and helpful. Car parking was available free of charge.

"The Best of the Best"

5
17/07/2016

The positive vibe from the time you get there is comparable and it will will stay imprinted in your mind and body until your next visit to the same Hotel. It feels like both home and a part of the Disneyland as if you are inside of the parks and can see and shaken by the Disney Fire Works every night. The parking area is great. The swimming pools have disability access and they are nicely located with privacy and California sun. I just cannot wait for my next visit to the hotel.

"Great Place to Stay!"

"Great Location"

13/07/2016

If you're looking for a convenient location while visiting Disneyland and DCA, this property is a good choice. Rates are reasonable for the area. Parking is included, it's and easy walk to the parks, and the breakfast is better than many others. The pool is big enough for small children to slash around. Housekeeping does a very good job and the front desk staff is friendly and beautiful.

"Great location"

13/07/2016

Location was perfect for Disneyland, right near the entrance. Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Walls are a little thin and we were woken at night by a crying child (and we are heavy sleepers) but otherwise it was pretty quiet. The free internet and included breakfast were nice bonuses and helped us pick this hotel over the others.

"Great Location"

Walking distance to Disneyland. Free parking and breakfast! Great value for the perks. had a microwave, small coffee machine with coffee and small fridge in the room. Room was kind of small with the two double beds. Staff was friendly and helpful.

"One of the better breakfast"

02/07/2016

I was moving around all week staying at different hotels every night, so a nice breakfast is very important to me. This hotel has one of the better breakfast buffets of any hotel I have stayed. They have a nice variety of selection. The bed in the room was comfortable & I got a good night of sleep.

29/06/2016

Overall our stay was fine and the convenience of staying across the street from Disneyland was great. The hotel itself and the rooms are very outdated, but clean. Parking was not good, but once we found a spot we never moved the car as long as we were there.

"Disneyland Within Sight!"

28/06/2016

My family vacationed here for the first time and were very happy with the property! While the property is older, it was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was very nice and being able to walk to the park was a HUGE plus. We were able to come back to our room in the afternoons for breaks and to freshen up. We were even able to view some of the firework show from our balcony at night. Great choice!

"5min walk to Disneyland"

4
28/06/2016

We stayed here at end of May. This place is well managed, rooms are clean and staff very helpful. We booked a dbl bed room. This was a mistake - needed a queen or king bed. this was the only fault. Five minute walk to Disneyland and Adventure park. A number of restaurants close by.

"Walking Distance to Disneyland"

5
27/06/2016

Clean, comfortable and close to the Park for that much needed mid afternoon siesta. Ya gotta get up early to beet the crowds and the firework show is amazing, so a break in the middle of the day was great.

"Pleasantly surprised by Breakfast"

4
27/06/2016

First time at this property. The property itself is older as evidenced by the drywall repair and paint around the window in the bathroom and around the a/c unit (also in the sink area along the back wall, which was unusual) but it was clean and comfortable. All the staff we came across were friendly and efficient and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Lots of options, clean breakfast room, and you have the option to sit outside on the patio overlooking Disney California Adventure and watch the world go by. We will be back. OH and the free wifi works, AND they don't charge for parking, which is pretty unusual in this immediate area.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
You are correct, the property is older but we will be starting a remodel in our guest rooms the end of this year into next. I do hope you'll be back to see it.

"Wonderful hotel right across the street from Disneyland"

5
24/06/2016

We did Disneyland for 4 days and absolutely loved staying at this hotel. We had a family suite, which has a living room, two bedrooms and a generously sized bathroom - all for a very reasonable rate. The room was clean, updated and the beds were comfortable. Parking for 1 car is free and every day you can do a 5 minute walk to be at the front gates of Disney. You were basically as close to the entrance gates as if you stayed at the Disneyland hotel and at a fraction of the cost. We have definitely found our place to stay for any visit to Disneyland in the future.

"Have a nice vacation at Best Western Plus"

very nice hotel to stay; is close to Disneyland (in walking distance); rooms are nice size, clean and employee are friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious and lots of food to choose from. Have free Wi-Fi.

Thanks for staying with us, I'm happy you enjoyed your stay.

"Great hotel close to Disneyland"

23/06/2016

We had a great experience at this hotel. It was close to Disneyland (right across the street), great full breakfast, VERY nice hotel staff, clean room. You might want to avoid the 3rd floor on same side as dining room as it can get noisy with families going to breakfast.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
It's hard to keep hungry families quite in the mornings, I'm so sorry if they bothered you. Next time you visit please let us know you want to be away from the breakfast area ans we'll happy yo accommodate you.

"Good place to stay fro Disneyland"

4
23/06/2016

Good place to stay when visiting Disneyland as it is literately across the road to the Disney entrance. Rooms are a bit dated in the decor but they were clean which is what really matters. Breakfast is average as it is a Motel so don't expect too much more than toast and cereal, there are scrambled eggs and a hot selection but not didn't look especially appealing and as there is an IHOP only 2 minutes away its not a problem. To sum up good value for its location relative to Disneyland.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
We try to offer a variety of items at our breakfast, I'm sorry if it didn't work for you, but as you said there is an IHOP and a Denny's next door. I hope you'll be back to see us.

"Disneyland"

4
22/06/2016

The hotel location to the parks was AMAZING!! The cleanliness was great!! The free breakfast was a great/cheap way to start the day before heading to the parks. The size of the room was a little snug because of the small table and chairs they put in there but I understand they were trying to give an alternative seating option. I highly recommend this place to stay if you plan on going to Disneyland. Only thing I had issues with was the wifi but we were hardly in the room.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
I have to agree, the location can't be beat. Thanks for staying with us.

"Quick Stay"

3
11/06/2016

Free Parking is a plus but only good until 6:00pm day of check out so should consider this if staying late on check out date. Breakfast was top notch, lots of offerings including hot food. Lots of seating including an outside area. They have a check in attendant outside the restaurant that makes sure registered guests enter. Our room was 318, room that had 2 bedrooms and 3 beds......it was great for our family of 6....but it was a very narrow 2nd room which seemed a bit awkward but wasn't an issue. For a longer term stay.....1 bathroom would be rough to get ready with 6 people.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
We'd love to let you park longer but we have to made the space available for the guests arriving that day. We also have suites with a kind and two double beds, you may want to try that one next time.

"Stay here for the location, and nothing else"

3
07/06/2016

We stayed here because of the fantastic location to the Disney area. It is the only reason you stay here. The rooms are very standard three star ( that is being generous ) and the buffet breakfast is acceptable. Once you know this, you can be prepared. Would I stay here again. Yes. Just across the road from the entrance. Can't beat that.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
I agree, the location is hard to beat. Thanks for staying with us.

"Location can't be beat, but not great value for the price..."

3
05/06/2016

Stayed for 2 nights to go to Disneyland, and the location was awesome and can't be faulted. The hotel is clean, but looking very tired. It looks like maybe parts of it have been refurbed, while others are still waiting. Bathroom was very small, the aircon was noisy but the beds were comfy. Staff were helpful when we needed to talk to them too, I can't fault that either. Parking is a problem if you have more than one car per room, so just beware. Overall, I think I'd probably choose to stay a little further away than across the street from the gates and get a more comfortable room for the same price, than stay here again. You can get better value elsewhere I think.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
You are correct, we recently added the breakfast room and remodeled the front during that process. We are starting on the rest of the property this fall and hope to finish up by the fall of 2017. I hope that you will reconsider staying with us again.

"Dinning Service a Joke"

2
04/06/2016

We choose BW because of its Continental Breakfast option. I grabbed a plate of food, and was ready to bring it back to the room to enjoy it with my family. I was told I cannot bring the food outside the dinning area. I explained they are still sleeping. The server insisted. I had to toss the food in the trash. This rule is ridiculous and never had I dealt with such policy. We frequent the BW chain, prefers them over Marriott at some locations, but this is the WORST. We've always been able to enjoy breakfast in our room if we choose, but this place is an exception and not in a good way. This review would not matter to you if you just need a place to sleep and play all day at Disneyland. A family with kids would be affected by this policy and should stay elsewhere. My first stay at BW Plus at Anaheim Inn. First impression = alright. Front Desk was friendly and responsive when I complained about the TV not working. This motel is well-located across Disneyland, with Denny's (24x7) Diner next door, and a general store within walking distance. I checked-in yesterday, and was prepared to make another reservation until this morning. I'm going back to Disneyland Resorts and Marriott.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
Because of the size of the breakfast room and the serving time of three and a half hours we haven't found our dine in policy to be a problem. We try to mention it at check in as well as posting it in the breakfast room. I'm sorry it didn't work for you and your family.

"Great Hotel, very close to Disneyland"

5
03/06/2016

This was a great hotel. We stayed here in May and spent 3 days at Disneyland. This hotel is very close to the walkway to get into Disneyland. The room was very clean. We never used the maid service as we don't like people in our room when we are not there, however, we were able to get all the towels and linens we needed sent up to our room in the evening. The breakfast was amazing and very extensive. Will definetly be staying here on our next trip.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
It's nice to hear you thought we were great even without maid service. I'm glad you were able to get everything thing you needed in the evening. See you on your next trip.

"Best location for the price!"

5
03/06/2016

The location is a short walk to Disneyland main entrance, 10 minutes at the very most. The room was clean and comfortable and had a fridge. Wifi worked great even for streaming Netflix. Free full breakfast with the largest dining area I've seen at a Best Western. The pool was clean and warm. I will always check this hotel on future visits.

"Excellent place to stay across from Disneyland"

31/05/2016

This hotel is 10+! Just across from Disneyland. Older property that has been renovated and is immaculate. Huge breakfast room on the 3rd floor with hotel breakfast items and friendly, professional staff. The rooms are smoke-free, spotless and comfortable. Hotel right next to Denny's and walking distance to McD's, Panera Bakery, etc. Will always stay here when visiting Disneyland!

30/05/2016

5 stars, very comfortable beds, I did not want get up. we stayed there because we were going to Disneyland for the day and did not want to make the long drive home that night. So we came in a day early and used the pool witch was very nice to relax after two hours of traffic. In the morning we were treated with a nice Continental breakfast. then spent the whole day at Disneyland, and all we had to do was cross he street to get to are hotel. We got a great night sleep, had breakfast and got on the road and headed home. thanks to the great staff for a nice stay

"If you plan visiting Disneyland, you choose the right one"

30/05/2016

Read the other review and make a decision choosing this hotel which is slightly more expensive. It is really close to the park and you just cross the road. I've been to other Disneyland- Florida, Japan and HK. After a long day enjoying everything inside, you feel extremely tired and just want to get home asap. All the other place need to take transport either back to your hotel or resorts at the park. I remember in Florida, you may take up to 30minutes back to hotel (if you are lucky getting on their first bus after firework and everyone rushing back at the same time.) This hotel also provides breakfast which you can stuffed yourselves with more than enough breakfast and go to park for a 4-5 hour fun before having lunch break. Like other Best Western, it also has guest laundry room. Be careful the time which closed at 10pm.

"Perfect location, great hotel."

27/05/2016

This is the best location. Disneyland is just across the road and it's close to loads of dining options including an easy stroll to Garden Walk. The hotel is clean, well maintained and has everything you need: fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer etc. The complimentary breakfast is quite generous. There is a laundry on the 2nd floor, the pool area looked nice ( we didn't use it). We could see the Disney fireworks from the balcony off our room. There was also free parking for guests which was great. The bus stop for the Citadel shuttle was seconds from the hotel. Great value and really super friendly and helpful staff. Will highly recommend.

"Great room with awesome breakfast for FREE!"

We recently visited the Disneyland resort and opted to stay at the Best Western Anahiem inn. I read the reviews before deciding to book which were mixed, but went ahead thinking it's just across the street from the park and we won't be in the room very often or for a long period of time. They have a gaurantee check in at 3 and we made it just after 3 to the hotel. As promised our room was ready! Very clean, although there was a weird smell at first, and being in the maintenence industry quickly realized it was the cleaning solutions used to clean the rooms lol. The beds were firm but comfortable, the air conditioner worked great and I loved not having to bring a iron or hair dryer. We went to breakfast the next morning and were pleasantly surprised at scambled eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, fruit, yogurt and many pastries to choose from along with cereal and pancakes or waffles. Who needs Denny's when they offer this??! The staff were the best part of the entire stay, from beginning to end they were helpful, friendly and always smiling. I will never stay anywhere else when visiting Disneyland! The park is directly across the street! This truely was a vacation for us. The pool and hot tub were the best part in our winding down the long day of the park... do yourself a favor, save some money and really enjoy your stay here!

The hotel is located directly across the street from the entrance to Disneyland. The rooms are clean and have a small refrigerator with in-room air conditioning. The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to assist. A complimentary breakfast is served in the morning and is quite good. There are cereals, fruit, breads, eggs, ham or sausage, waffles or pancakes and juices and milk. Of course, they also have coffee and tea. I loved being able to walk to Disneyland and not pay an enormous amount for lodging. I highly recommend this hotel. My only suggestion is that they did not have in-room safes and I prefer that option.

"Affordable hotel in excellent location"

This is a very nice, clean hotel in an excellent location. It's probably closer to the Disneyland entrance than the official Disneyland Resort is, which is very convenient for an afternoon nap or a change of clothes after "splash mountain" turns into "soak every article of clothing mountain". A good, hot breakfast that has ample seating is included. The staff top to bottom was very friendly. For a family on a budget you can't get better than the two Best Westerns that are right at the entrance to the park. (I've posted a similar sounding review to the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites. If you can get it, that one is slightly closer and usually cheaper with bigger and nicer rooms but a slightly worse breakfast room. I go for Park Place Inn first when I stay at Disneyland but if it's booked this Anaheim Inn is a fantastic runner up)

We loved our stay at Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn. The staff were extremely friendly and our room was great. We were on the top level and could see the Disney fireworks from the balcony. The room itself was clean and spacious. We had a room with two double beds even though it was just the two of us (two beds were cheaper than one!). Breakfast was great and began at 6.30am for those of us who wanted to be at the parks for the early magic hours. There was a great variety and very fresh. Onsite car parking was good as well and we didn't have any issues getting a park. We also used the laundry and this was inexpensive and clean. We didn't use the pool however it looked clean and well maintained. We loved the proximity to Disney - right across the street with Denny's right next door. I would suggest this hotel to everyone. We loved it!

The room was great, (room 307), you can see the Disneyland Fireworks from the room. Good breakfast, plenty of options. Nice staff. Very short walk to Disney entrance. Definitely would stay here again!

Great quality, white bedding and Linen. Comfy beds and pillows. Very clean. Roomy. Staff was kind and helpful. The front desk booked a shuttle for my arrival. Held my luggage for the day since I was on a tour. Right across from Disneyland. Highly, highly recomend. I would stay here again.

"Best Western Plus Anaheim, across from Disneyland"

Very helpful staff, rooms were very clean, easy access to our destination, pool was clean and great for swimming, hot tub was wonderful and towels were provided. Only problem was we needed to sleep 5 and room allowed for 4.

"Best Home away from Home"

12/05/2016

This location is the best, just a block away from the entrance to Disneyland. The staff I would rate as extremely high as they are very helpful with any of your needs. I have stayed here before and would recommend this location to anyone who asks where the best place to stay is. The breakfast gets you started with your day, whether you just want a coffee and bagel to a full breakfast. This location is the Best of the Best.

"Close to Park, but...."

08/05/2016

Okay, I've stayed here before a few years ago so I thought it was a no-brainer when going back to Disneyland. First the good: close to the park, great breakfast (that is also free), free parking (but with a caveat), and clean hot tub and pool. Now why I may consider another hotel on Harbor Blvd next time: the beds, double size only. I always think that hotel beds are smaller in size in general so if it's a double, it seems like a twin. The room: I unfortunately got room 203 which if you do a search has another review that mentions it. Its on the second floor and DIRECTLY below the breakfast room on the third floor (great planning whoever thought that up). This room is also the ADA compliant room which I find "funny" that you already may have challenges in life, now you get a mini-stampede waking you before the crack of dawn. We had no choice because the hotel was sold out. I also asked the front desk if they had earplugs, NOPE and was pointed to the closest drug store. The beds are over the kitchen area so when they start prepping, you will hear it. The area over the bathroom is where all the food is located so everyone getting there food is walking there (and as mentioned before it was sold out - so a lot of traffic). The parking is free, but only until 6pm on the day of checkout which is little help if you are planning to be at the park that day too. So you have to move your car and pay for Disney parking or move the car to Downtown Disney for hourly parking. So if you can get a room other than 201-203 and don't mind small beds, and the parking restriction on your final day, go for it. Otherwise this is not the hotel you are looking for.

"Good Location - Routine Service - Poor Breakfast - Complete Lack of Charm"

08/05/2016

Last April my wife and I spent four nights at this hotel. We booked this lodging through the Disney Vacation packages Office. This hotel seems to be an old style motel of years past, it lacks space where guests could sit down and enjoy a conversation. The rooms are adequate and clean with very little charm or personality. We have only one complaint about the service. When we left we asked the reception personnel to call a Taxi to take us to the Anaheim Amtrak Station. We were offered two choices; a Yellow Cab, or a 15 dollars flat rate one, which we decided to take. However, by the end of the ride, the driver insisted that the cost was 20 dollars. We paid the extra five dollars just to avoid a confrontation. Was this due to ignorance of the Hotel's personnel?, or Dishonesty from the driver?. We will never know. Also, my wife felt that upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist was not helpful enough giving us instructions about how to get to the Disney parks. Perhaps the aspect that was most bothersome was the poor quality of the breakfast. Every item in the buffet was edible, but nothing was really appetizing. The only good thing to say is that the fresh Apples and Oranges gave it a healthy touch. We could not say the same about the greasy doughnuts or sugary Danish Pastries. Having breakfast here had all the charm and personality of the paper cups and plates, and plastic utensils we had to use. Most likely, there should be better lodging accommodations in Anaheim, ones that add some comfort and charm to your Disney Experience.

"EXACTLY what we wanted"

07/05/2016

My brother and I had stayed in the hotel several years ago, and were glad we could get reservations here for this trip. From having our "special" requests honored (top floor, adjoining rooms) to the friendliness and helpfulness of all staff members we encountered, it was the best stay we've had in the Disneyland area. Hot breakfast every day was good, seemed to be choices for just about anyone. The pool was very clean and well-maintained. It is so close to the entry of the parks that walking was a pleasure. The fact that we could see the nightly Disneyland fireworks from our rooms was a bonus! The only thing I could find any fault with at all was that the bathtub could probably use a refinishing. That caused me no problems, it was just a cosmetic issue. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a Disneyland visit. I know I certainly plan to be back.

"All around great hotel"

05/05/2016

I am so glad that we chose this hotel. Everything was just right. The location can't be beat as it is literally across the street from Disneyland and saved us a ton on shuttles. There are also restaurants on either side of the hotel so you don't have to drive at all once you are there. The breakfast was way better than the standard hotel breakfasts. Lots of hot items and a fantastic variety. The rooms were very quiet and the salt water pool was great. Highly recommend.

"Great location but in need of a renovation"

3
04/05/2016

Lets start with the bad. First of all the room is the smallest hotel room I stayed in during my visit to the USA. The bathroom was old and storage space was limited. For four people the room was quite cramped. The room had only one sink and no kitchen which was also inconvenient. By far the worst aspect of the room was the mouldy stench that permeated the air. However despite the room issues breakfast is included which was quite good and there was a decent selection. The saving grace of this hotel was the location!!! The hotel is opposite from the main entrance to Disneyland. This is perfect as it allows you to enter and leave the park as you please. It was a wonderful spot as it was in the middle of both theme parks.

"WOW Nice place to stay!"

03/05/2016

We stayed in this Best Western during our visit to California. The hotel is clean, affordable, and right across the street from Disneyland. It doesn't get any better than that. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. And you can see the fireworks right in front of the hotel.

This hotel was my first pick and truly, a good one ! I had stayed at BW before and trusted I would find the same quality here. I wasn't disappointed. Moreover, this BW Plus Anaheim Inn is right in front of the Disney parks ! Super when you're tired from you day ! In addition, they have a good hot and cold breakfast with a nice room to eat it in and even a nice little terrasse with view on busy boulevard below ! The rooms were clean and nice with small fridge, microwave, flat-screen TV, good ventilation and everything in working order. Rooms are mostly at the back, away from street noise. Personnel very helpful when I had to find stamps and mail stuff and also when I needed and extra ticket for the Disney parks. Also, location is convenient for tour bus pick-ups, almost in front of hotel ! All in all, I strongly recommend this hotel !

We stayed in this hotel on our recent visit to Disneyland following advice from the travel agent we booked through who always stays here. It is an older hotel but very clean and comfortable. The shower pressure was better than the five star hotel we came from in Dallas! The location to Disneyland is fantastic, just a short walk and you're there! It is also not to far to walk to CVS store for supplies. Breakfast was very nice with quite a few different choices. Nice to sit on balcony and eat breakfast! All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would definately stay again!

26/04/2016

The Best Western PLUS Anaheim Inn was the best value for our dollar. We have stayed at other hotels across from Disney and this was by far the best. The location is perfect (you can easily pop back in the afternoon for a break from the parks), the room was renovated and spacious, the continental breakfast in the morning hit the spot and we appreciated the free parking. We will definitely be back!

18/04/2016

Good deal for people who want close proximity to Disneyland. Great front desk service, and nice ladies at door for breakfast. The gentleman who does maintenance was fast and nice. The beds were small, but we made it work for 2 nights. Towels were nice and a good shower head also. Our room was clean, and we were happy to have a small refrigerator in the room too.

15/04/2016

This will be the third time I have stayed at this hotel. They have updated it since my last visit and added the breakfast. I was nervous about what the breakfast would include (and if it would match the increase in price), but it was great! Definitely worth the extra a night to be able to have a decent breakfast each morning before heading to the park. I recommend this hotel to all my friends who are going to Disneyland. It is so close and a great deal! The only negative I have is the internet wasn't super strong. But since I was on vacation, it wasn't the end of the world.

"Convenient!"

Extremely convenient to Disneyland Resort - closer than the Resort hotels. Not a luxury hotel, but it served it's purpose for a visit to Disneyland and the price is much less than the resort hotels. We would stay again.

Location location location!! My family of 5 stayed here in February for 3 weeks and were not disappointed. We were literally accross the road from the Disneyland entrance. We had Dennys right next door with so many other food options in walking distance. The staff were always cheerful and helpful, and very attentive towards guests!! Our room was clean and cosy. The pool and the pool area was also always clean. The included breakfast was an absolute bonus..we saved so much money over the 3 weeks we were there and it was always fresh with a wide varity to suit all!! We plan on returning in 2018 and will definitely be booking here again! Thank you to Martha and the team and also the lovely Manager of the breakfast crew who organised a gift for my daughter on her 6th birthday..we even had the breakfast crew sing Happy Birthday to her. That truly made her day so THANK YOU!! See you again soon ??

"Good value, right across the street from Disney..."

05/04/2016

For the convenience factor alone it's worth it - it had parking, breakfast, and not a long walk in and out of park - now that we are stroller free, that was a must. Can still walk back and forth for a quick nap for the kids or a quick dip in pool to refresh. Cleaner than next door hotel the Park Vue which is gross. We love the Fairfield as it seems to be the cleanest, but just too pricey! But, after seeing what other families do in their hotel rooms - the mess that they leave, we feel so sorry for the poor hotel staff that has to clean up that kind of mess...

Prime location, just a 5 minute walk to the main gates! I got a room on the 3rd floor and although the walls are thin, it's nothing unbearable. Besides we were exhausted from being at Disneyland all day! Customer service was excellent. Call on the day of arrival for early check in and do a pre-register so they call you when the room is available. Parking is a bit tough but all in all this place is great to stay in.

"Almost perfect"

04/04/2016

All in all, this is an excellent property. The entire staff is friendly and efficient -- especially the Front Desk. The rooms are very clean and Housekeeping does a terrific job each day. Parking can be a challenge, but it's nothing a little walking to the rear of the lot won't cure. The lone negative: Unless you are an early riser to get into the Happiest Place on Earth at 8 am, it is very noisy towards the breakfast area/lobby. It WILL wake you up! Guaranteed! From 6:30 am when breakfast begins until 10 am, it's like Grand Central Station around Room 204! There are people running around, talking loudly -- and it's not just happy kids. The breakfast area restroom was just above our bed, so if the guest noise doesn't wake you the constantly flushing toilet surely will. The noise returns when the park closes, too, just not as bad. It's no wonder we were able to check in early! No one who knows any better would take that room.

You can't get much closer to the entrance of Disneyland and California Adventure! The hotel was clean and nice and the staff was always friendly. 02/04/2016

One of the first things I noticed about the room was how clean it was. The upkeep of the room was great and it seemed to have been well cleaned. The hotel staff was polite and personable. We arrived earlier than check-in. The employee at the front desk told us she could get us in a room early, but it was below the breakfast area. She wanted to let us know first in case we decided to wait for our room to be ready, as we might be disturbed by the noise in the morning from the other guests congregating in this one room. We went ahead with the room they had available so we could get on with our day. She told us that if it became loud or disruptive to let the hotel staff know and they would gladly change our room. Our TV did not work when we first turned it on so we called down to the front desk. They asked if it would be okay to send up someone to look at it. A man was at our door within 3 minutes to fix the TV and see if there was anything else we needed. The breakfast that was put out each morning was fantastic! The wifi was easy to connect to and was not spotty. I had no trouble with the internet connection the entire time I was there. Finally, it is directly across the street from Disneyland, which is awesome! The only downfall of this hotel I noticed during our 4 night stay was that the parking is rather difficult. There just don't seem to be enough parking spots to accommodate all of the guests staying at the hotel.

"Location close to Disneyland"

02/04/2016

Adequate rooms, although they seemed a little outdated. Bathrooms lack proper ventilation and the doors are old sliding doors. Comfortable enough though, and right across from Disneyland. Breakfast is adequate and the lady there in the morning was sweet and helpful. After staying at one of the hotels next to this one on another trip, and seeing how terrible it was, I appreciate this one more now. Not much parking.

01/04/2016

This hotel has the perfect location. It took me just minutes, less than 5, to get to Disneyland and California Adventures. The rooms are very typical of Best Western and we all have to consider just how much these rooms are used when considering the quality. Arash was great, I really liked him and his Disney references. Breakfast was typical of Best Western but the breakfast area was beautiful, spacious and very well done. This is one of the hotels that will be first on my list when I return to Disneyland.

"Excellent Hotel for our Family Disneyland Stay!"

27/03/2016

Best Western Plus Anaheim is an excellent hotel! The cleanliness of the room was outstanding, better even then most higher end hotels we've used. The staff is great...friendly and helpful. We even received a call the morning of our arrival date to check in with us and ask if we had any special needs or request and then we were told to have a safe trip down! I would only say beware that the beds are doubles and small for two adults but still comfortable. Check-in and check-out were quick and effortless. Breakfast was awesome and the price couldn't be beat! We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

"Excellent stay and a great price"

27/03/2016

This is not our first time staying here..we just keep coming back. Excellent staff and it is super clean. You can't beat the location and the price is very reasonable. The breakfast that is offered is great and sets the day for your day in Disney! We will be back again soon!!!

check-in was not until 3 p.m. so that was a bummer. parking was very tight getting in and out. the heater turned on but smelled really bad so we didn't bother using it. The fridge never got cold. check these items as soon as you get in the hotel not when you get to the room at midnight after all day at Disneyland like we did. breakfast was actually pretty good but monitored so I couldn't sneak out a banana. I saw a young girl get caught taking donuts to her room and attendant made her throw them out. coffee is delish and they have the works.

It was Perfect. The staff was Great, friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean, everything worked, and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. Location, location, location. Right across from the Pedestrian entrance to Disney - so its a short walk. And if you give up early... fireworks can be seen from the 'front yard'. 2 nice restaurants right next door. We'll be back!

"Perfect for Disneyland!"

21/03/2016

We had an excellent stay – hotel was a great value and well worth the price! Took about 10 minutes for us to walk from our hotel room to the main security entrance at Disneyland (the majority of the time was spent waiting at the crosswalk at Harbor Blvd). We took a mid-day break every day and the proximity was great! Free Wi-Fi, cable TV and On-Demand was great when we were resting in the room. Front desk was extremely accommodating and let us park our car on the morning of arrival (prior to our checkout) – but this is subject to parking availability. They can hold bags the morning of our arrival, as well as day of checkout. Room was clean, housekeeping was prompt. Breakfast was plentiful, warm, and provided a great variety. The breakfast food/room was like a typical college dorm (spread of hot foods, pastries, cereal, yogurts, etc.) Plenty to get us through a late lunch. We stayed in the main building (second floor near the breakfast room) and could see the Disneyland fireworks from the balcony. There is a small convenience store (Cove on Harbor) within walking distance to buy milk, etc. to place in the mini-fridge (although it was expensive it was super convenient). Definitely recommend this for all Disneyland stays!! Will stay here again.

"Great location!"

20/03/2016

My family stayed here in March, 2016. The rooms were clean and contain every amenity you'd need for a comfortable stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The free breakfast had a lot of variety to keep everyone satisfied, and added to the value of the hotel. The very best thing about this hotel was its location! A very short walk across the street to Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney made this hotel the perfect choice for my family! I would definitely stay here again!

"Near Disneyland"

3
18/03/2016

I prefer hotels that have the room door inside rather than outside (just feels safer to me). The place is dated and other than Disney there is not much near there. We went to the Garden Walk area which is deserted almost. I guess it was cheap enough, clean enough but not my choice for a place to stay in the future.

"Location to Disneyland is Excellent"

4
18/03/2016

I couldn't believe how close this hotel was to the front gates of the Disneyland. Although the rooms are a little dated the location cannot be beat. The parking is tight so if you can bring a small car. There seemed to be a lot of parking. You can keep you car parked at the hotel until 6pm of the day of check out. The breakfast is a variety of foods-eggs, potatoes, toast, cereal, donuts, yogurt, fruit. This is such a good place to stay for Disneyland.

"Everything as expected"

4
15/03/2016

This hotel is a little dated and could use some upgrade but for what you pay everything is what I would expect. Clean rooms, the staff was polite and helpful. The hotel is located across from Disneyland and California adventure. We could clearly see all the fireworks from our balcony. I would stay there again for sure.

"Great Hotel"

13/03/2016

We have stayed at several hotels across from Disneyland for the benefits and easy access. The accomodations and breakfast make this a great choice. The grounds are maintained and the rooms are spacial and very clean. This remains one of our favorites and we will continue to use it whenever it is available.

"SOOO CLOSE to Disneyland & FREE Breakfast, FREE Parking, and FREE Wifi. GREAT DEAL"

5
12/03/2016

Very close to Disneyland (only a 5 minute walk from our room to the entrance of both parks). We have stayed at the Disneyland hotels before and this is pretty much just as close and such a better (cheaper) price. We were even able to walk back to the hotel later in the day to place our purchases in our room (it's that close). Free Breakfast was very good. Lots of options, scrambled eggs, egg patties, ham, sausage, potatoes. waffles, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, toast, doughnuts, coffee, three types of juice, and more. Free parking was nice too and they have a security guard walking around at night checking on the parking lot. Room was clean and quiet. We will stay here again. I know you will love it too! ;)

Just Cannot wait to check in. Feels as if we are inside Disney. The rich breakfast will instantly charge you to start your day with great energy by the way please don't miss to shoe your room keys at the Denny's to get 10% discount every time you dine and please do visit the pool area once in a while and leave the curtain open to see the fireworks from your room.

03/03/2016

This hotel was close to all amenities for my Disneyland trip: Disneyland was almost directly across the street, it offered a complimentary breakfast to start the day, it is right next door to Denny's, within a couple of doors to IHOP, just up the street was a 24-hour CVS. Staff is supremely helpful and full of information. i thought the room was excellently appointed and kept clean and tidy. Never found time to try the pool but it sure looked inviting!

This place is in a great location, has great service, has great add ons and clean, spacious rooms. I was walking distance from Disney Park so this was convenient. I was also walking distance from several eating options, which allowed for me to not even have to move my car. Staff were friendly and responded to my questions promptly.

29/02/2016

If you are looking for a clean room, great breakfast and close to Disneyland, this is the place to stay!! The rooms were simple but had everything that we needed. The hotel was very busy but quiet. Breakfast had everything that we needed and had quite a but of variety (boiled eggs, oatmeal, toasts, eggs and bacon, hash browns,) and had several items that were healthy. The walk to Disneyland was exactly 5 minutes. A great place to go back to if your kids need a mid day break.

Primary value is proximity to Disneyland. Quick walk to gates. Clean. Good place to crash. Adequate parking. Decor out of date but consistent with Best Westerns in general. Bed was extremely hard. Easy check in. Very low water pressure.

Steps away from Disneyland. Great hotel, pool/spa. Rooms are comfortable. Outstanding breakfast. Staff could not have been more helpful. No reason to stay at a Disney hotel as long as this is available. Take this as the truth, we are Disney Vacation Club members and would stay at this hotel rather than use our points.

24/02/2016

I booked a last minute get-a-way to the happiest place on Earth. The past 2 times we've been to DL we've stayed at Tropicana Inn and I figured this time we'd try something new. Plus, they had scattered availability on such short notice. I did a quick search of other hotels and was happy to find a place on "Disney Row" with availability. So, thinking it was Best Western Park Place, I booked ASAP. A day later I had realized my error, but too late to cancel and figured, what the heck let's do this. When we pulled up I recognized this place as the hotel we stayed at during our first visit back in 2003 (back then the pool was under repair and they did not bother to tell me that when booking :(. After that stay I said I would never stay here again and vowed to try something new next time (that's when I found the Tropicana). I found a lot of the same feelings leaving the hotel this go round too. Why the disappointment? There are a few things: - Small beds/hard pillows - Didn't get a very good nights sleep. First time I've encountered that in my travels. I'm usually not that picky. - Room - Smelled a bit funky, not that big of a deal, it was clean. However, the door had a gap and even with deadbolt locked I didn't feel like it would stop a cockroach, let a lone an intruder.. - We checked in early. I told the front desk, I'm not in a hurry to get a room (we were going straight to the park) and would wait for a good room if one is coming available. She told me it's the best one we have (tongue in cheek, I knew she meant "best we have right NOW). So I said fine, and took it. It ended up being 333, the single farthest room from the front door.... - Small pool and it's largely in the shade given the large wall to the south of the pool area. The good: - Good hot breakfast to start the day. Typical hotel fare, but great way to start a long day. - Close to the park. Can't beat the location! - Staff - besides the "best room I've got" comment, staff was friendly and helpful. - Good hot tub! In the end, I would not recommend this place to a friend. There are lots of options on this road, do your research and don't make a snap decision like I did! However, I bet you could do a lot worse. Could I have asked to be moved from room to room?? Sure, I could have. But I'm the type of guy that gives people one chance to make the first impression and it didn't turn out this time. Hope this helps....

Comfortable large rooms. Walking distance to main entrance to Disneyland. Had to work out how to get the shower to work - needs to be pulled out. Hahaha. Beds comfortable and clean. Staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast not so good. Lots of sugary foods. Do have scrambled eggs and omelets but Definitely not for someone who wants to eat healthy. Apart from that great spot and rooms very reasonable.

"Disneyland close"

20/02/2016

While I stayed on business, I noted how very close this hotel is to Disneyland, literally across the street. We could watch the fireworks from our driveway, including music. The rooms are very clean, good hot breakfast provided, more family oriented than couples, a bit tight on parking. Very nice staff and helpful. Would stay again if going to the parks.

15/02/2016

Value for money accomadation. American style breakfast with plenty of carbohydrates lashed with sweet condiments. Scrambled, hard boiled eggs, sausage patties and boiled ham becomes pretty ordinary after the second breakfast. Rest of breakfast setup (fruit yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, toast, bagels, doughnuts, Danishes) well done. Resort fee for providing a pool is a bit cheeky! Staff very helpful - as cheerfuls as Disneyland staff over the road.

"Great place to hang your hat."

Very n ice room, great breakfast offerings! Hotel is right across from Disneyland, you can walk to the main gate. No need for shuttle or busses. Very clean. Make sure you have appropriate beds for your stay. We thought we had Queen beds, but turned out to be double. Little to snug to share with a friend.

"Perfect Location + Hot Breakfast!"

11/02/2016

We always choose this hotel when we visit Disneyland! The location is perfect for walking to the parks, it's always clean with helpful & kind staff, plus the hot breakfast! It's always good & puts the value over the top for us!

10/02/2016

Hotel is right across the street from Disneyland. No worry about getting out of Disneyland before buses stop running. Hotel allows us to keep our car in their parking lot until 6pm after checkout, very convenient. Rooms are extremely clean & staff is friendly.

"Not Bad, but can be Pricey"

4
10/02/2016

We booked this hotel for the price and proximity. We booked our rooms through hotels.com at least 4 months in advance so we got a really good price. What really got my attention was the lack of parking fees, free wi-fi and free breakfast, not to mention that you are literally across the street from the park entrance. The room was decent, a typical motel room, just a lot cleaner and updated. Unfortunately my husband and I had to sleep on two separate beds as they did not have a king available at the time of booking. I have to say the beds were incredibly comfortable and I slept like a rock. There is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was the typical "free" breakfast, waffles, eggs, potatoes, etc. I have had better. We only went the first morning. We barely heard our neighbors and we were on the first floor. It helped being at the way end of the building too. The office staff is helpful and incredibly friendly. When we arrived, our room was not ready so we decided to go to Disneyland while we waited and they aloud us to park our car there while we went. All in all, it was not a bad motel, but the price would have to be right again for me to stay there. It was about $45 more a night a month before our trip for the same rooms.

"Perfect hotel for Disney trip"

10/02/2016

We stayed for 5 nights at the Best Western Anaheim Inn last week and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The hotel is right across the street from the main gates, the free breakfast is hearty and generous, the free parking and wi-fi saved us money every day, and the room was very clean and just right. We swam in the pool every day even though it wasn't warm out! There isn't a better place to stay for your Disneyland adventure.

"Very Nice Hotel"

10/02/2016

Very nice hotel and close to Disneyland. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A great value for your money without skimping on quality. Great breakfast and the parking is free. I will definitely frequent this hotel.

"Couldn't have asked for better"

09/02/2016

This motel lives up to the quality I've come to expect from Best Western plus. The rooms were clean and the beds were firm and comfortable. The hot breakfast each morning was almost perfect. My only issue with it was the scrambled eggs were dry and clumpy, but they were tasty. The sides alternated between sausage / ham and waffles / French toast sticks, so it never got boring. We didn't have maid service every day, and each day we did not, we found a message on our phone from the front desk double checking to see if there was anything we needed. All of this and its perfect location for a very short walk to Disneyland made our trip one to remember.

"Great Motel, just steps from Disneyland"

31/01/2016

We will stay at this motel again. It was clean and the employees friendly. It is just across the street from Disneyland and walking distance from many places to eat, from McDonald's to Tony Romas, and everything in between.

"Clean & Friendly"

28/01/2016

This hotel is situated opposite to the main gates of Disney and is a 10 minute walk to the turnstiles. The hotel rooms are clean and furnished tastefully. We arrived early and the room was not ready but the reception staff expedited the room and were in the room within 1 hour. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet in the morning which gets the day off to a good start. if you are not a fan of the offerings of the buffet there is a iHop and a Dennys within a couple of minutes walking distance. On site parking was not an issue with car parking available at all hours of the day. The hotel had a small pool and spa which were heated and the kids enjoyed even though it was mid January. The hotel were all too happy to hold baggage for us on check out day so we could enjoy our last day at Disney. The rooms have free WIFI and Time Warner Cable. Will stay here again.

"excellent location and friendly staff"

27/01/2016

The location was ideal so close to the main gate its just a 2 min walk to Disneyland. The hotel Staff (Elizabeth) were very helpful and friendly. The room was ok, had a very musty smell when you first walked in, also was quite hot (even in winter). Breakfast here was good with enough variety, cereal, toast, pastry, eggs, bacon, tea coffee, juice. Room had wifi which worked well, overall its location is its strong point.

"Almost perfect"

27/01/2016

Great full breakfast. Very close to Disneyland. The staff was very nice. The internet is a little slow but I haven't had a decent speed at a hotel ever. The only problem with this hotel is they have double beds instead of queen.

"Location Location Location"

26/01/2016

Chose this hotel for it's proximity to Disneyland - it's one of the hotels that are almost directly across the road to the entrance. My husband also enjoyed it's location (between Denny's and Tony Roma's!) We loved the complimentary breakfast (another reason we chose this hotel) and found the selections fantastic. Also loved watching the kids eating their breakfast, watching the Disney channel with their ears on! The hotel itself is nothing fabulous, it's a little old and tired but the location more than makes up for that! Great spot for families even though Hubby and I travelled alone and the price was reasonable - especially given it's prime location!

"Very enjoyable"

23/01/2016

I have stayed in Anaheim a number of times and this Best Western is a fine combination of affordability and comfort. The wifi is good as was the breakfast. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

"What You Want Is Not Always What You Need!"

21/01/2016

I wanted to stay at Embassy and was glad I stayed here. The staff is amazing... the breakfast free and really good. The only thing that would have been nicer is to have more room since we had a suite with 3 beds it was kind of like having 2 hotel rooms, but they were a little small. This place was close to where I needed to be, close to Disneyland (walking distance). I walked right next door to eat, I walked next door to rent a car at Select Rent a Car at the other Best Western a few doors down. The hot tub is AMAZING... hot!! It was beyond what we needed and I didn't even know it at the time. They called to make sure we had everything we needed.

"Great Place"

Loved having the close access to Disneyland, and loved the breakfast. The staff was helpful and professional. I have stayed at almost all of the properties near Disneyland and I recommend Best Western.

"2nd Stay for Us"

03/01/2016

This was our second stay at this hotel. It was similar to our last stay. Good and friendly staff, quick check in and check out process, no problems with maid service, and of course the best part being the location. It is close to Disney and a few restaurants and makes it easy just to park the car and walk everywhere. Room cleanliness is a huge thing for me and our room was clean. I still have the same issue as last time though. The parking lot is very small and if you get someone careless parked next to you, you will end up with new dents in your vehicle. That is not a reflection on how this hotel is run, just simply how tight the parking is. Most of the hotels around there aren't much better, just be aware.

"New Year Disney Trip"

03/01/2016

No complaints! Friendly, Courteous Staff. This hotel was recommended by a family member and she was right! Close enough to walk to Disney Parks and Disney Walk. We stayed in room 206 on the second floor. It was close to the breakfast area and front desk. It was a room closer to the street but not so close that we could hear any traffic. There are several restaurants within walking distance but they sure do hike up the prices!! Might as well eat at a good restaurant at Disneywalk because we spent $90 at IHOP for pancakes and eggs breakfast for 4 of us after Tip!!! Back to room, it had everything we needed. Micro, small fridge, good working air conditioner, coffee maker, stocked towels, flat screen, blow dryer. Bottom line, if we decide to stay at a good neighbor hotel again, it will be this one.

"Great Hotel!"

02/01/2016

Great value! Super close to Disneyland. Awesome breakfast and very helpful staff. We will stay here again!! Loved the free parking and internet. We also used the workout area and it was wonderful. My family loved this hotel.

"Great Value"

31/12/2015

Literally three doors down from the intersection leading to the entrance to Disneyland. It's very convenient, clean, and everything is as advertised. The breakfast is simple, but even better quality than the breakfast from our stay last year at Best Western Plus Park Place Inn which is directly across the street from Disneyland. A little noisy, but not unreasonable. The television remote didn't work well at all, but we didn't consider it a huge inconvenience. We would consider returning for another stay.

"Location, Location and Location"

5
28/12/2015

Location, Location and Location. This is why we selected this hotel for three days of Disney happiness and really couldn't have chosen better. This is a budget hotel but the staff would put those working at some 5-star hotels to shame! Breakfast was adequate but does everything have to be disposable? The pool looked nice and the fitness centre was better than expected for such a venue, although it didn't have any free weights.

"Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn"

4
28/12/2015

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. There was fresh fruit, eggs, potatoes, pastries and cereal. The beds were soft and comfortable. The stay was great and would definitely stay again. Great location.

"Best place right across the street from Disneyland"

4
27/12/2015

Spacious rooms and super clean---and all within walking distance from the park. It was a great place to stay and the staff was friendly and very, very accommodating. After a long day at the park, with it being right across the street was a blessing. Close to restaurants as well. Request a room toward the back of the hotel and you'll not hear the traffic at night. Loved the place and will stay here again

"would come again"

25/12/2015

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is right at the gate of disneyland park. Very convenient walking to and from the park. Lots of dining options around. Breakfast is basic and warm. Very convenient especially if you need to head to the park and start the day.

"Great location, sub-par rooms for the cost."

3
22/12/2015

Stayed here for a night while visiting Disneyland Parks. The location is superb, especially if anyone wants to stay in the parks late. The free parking was very convenient. All these things are great, but the quality of the rooms left a lot to be desired. I did not like the fact that the neighbors could be heard. The bathroom sink seats in the room outside of the bathroom, so if anyone needs to use it, will disturb others in the room. The cost was very high and I am assuming it is due to the proximity to the parks. I would stay here again if I was charged less. Also the taxes seemed to be much higher than hotels just down the street.

"2 stays in a month. Great location!"

17/12/2015

Yes, I actually stayed at this Best Western twice in the last month. First time with my daughter, second with my husband. We chose it because of its proximity to the main gates of Disneyland and California Adventures. We are season pass holders, so we are fortunate to experience a few hotels in the area. This Best Western is reasonably priced and it's located almost directly across the street from Disney. By the end of the day, Every step matters! The first room we stayed in was not as nice as the second one. Ironically they were right next door to each other! They both were clean and tidy. The beds comfortable and though the rooms are on the small side, there is a table with 2 chairs, a desk and a chair and a mini fridge and microwave. The carpets need replacing and the decor is tired looking. The room I especially didn't care for had an old yellowing, rusty A/C that was noisy and the microwave was yellowed with age. The other room had the A/C replaced as well as the microwave. I asked about renovations and they have done a few rooms. A bit of freshening up is definitely needed but all in all, it's ok. They also have a breakfast from 6:30 until 10.00 everyday. I only tried it once, but it was very good. On the day I was there they offered whole fruit, eggs 3 ways, ham, potatoes , cereals, pastries, toast, pre-made waffles, yogurt and juices and coffee. The breakfast area was clean and inviting. The only thing is, you can't take any of the food out of the breakfast room so don't plan on a breakfast sandwich on the run or enjoying it in your room. I found that to be odd but it's their rule. The staff at check in were nice although the gal who checked us in the second time didn't seem to know the property. She couldn't tell me where my room was. I was worried it was the same room as before judging by the number, but it was next door , whew ! All in all, good value and great location! I would stay there again.

"Even better than last time!"

15/12/2015

We had stayed at this hotel two years ago and thought it was very good. Stayed there again in October 2015 and it was even better than before. They have added a new breakfast area which is fantastic. There is a wide range of items and there is plenty of seating. There is even some outdoor seating that faces Disneyland/California Adventure. The rooms are comfortable, although a bit cramped. We had two adults and two teenagers in a double queen room for 5 nights. If we had less stuff and stayed fewer nights the room might not have felt so cramped. The hotel also provides free parking during your stay. Other hotels in the area charge a daily parking fee. We don't know when we'll get to Disneyland again, but when we go we'll definitely stay at the Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn!

"Best hotel near Disneyland"

12/12/2015

Great price and great location for this Best Western hotel. I highly recommend this for families going on a Disneyland vacation. Free breakfast, walking distance to Disneyland, comfortable rooms. What more could you ask for? Friendly staff waiting to serve you. There's also a nice pool if you want to take a dip.

"Awesome staff and rooms."

5
12/12/2015

Rooms were excellent and so were the staff. The continental breakfast was amazing. We will stay there again when we go to Disneyland. The maids and groundskeepers were very friendly also. The pool was always clean and our grandsons loved it. The continental breakfast was always kept hot and full. The dining area was very clean and if some child spilled on the floor, the staff were there to clean it up and always had a smile on their faces.

"Great location and great stay"

5
10/12/2015

This Best Western is conveniently located for visiting the Disney Parks. We had a pleasant experience. I would recommend a stay here for families or couples planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.

"Great Place to stay"

5
06/12/2015

This was the 2nd time we stayed at the Anaheim Inn. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room was great and the breakfast is really nice. I would recommend this place and would choose it again! The proximity to Disneyland is perfect and the pool and Jacuzzi were great to unwind after a day at the park. You can see the fireworks from the 3rd floor.

"Great hotel next to Disneyland!"

5
02/12/2015

Stayed at this hotel 11/13-11-22. We had never been to Disneyland before and loved how close this hotel is to the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure. The walk is about 10 minutes. The hotel overall was very clean, the maid service was excellent. We had a room on the 3rd floor and could see the fireworks from the walkway. Parking was free which was a bonus. We did not use the pool or hot tub, but saw others using it. Plenty of restaurants close by within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly and cares how your room is. They called after we settled in to find out if everything was in working order and if we needed anything else. Laundry room on the 2nd floor was very clean and in working order. The breakfast in the morning was very good and gave us a good start every day. Plenty of food and a good variety. Lots of room and plenty of tables to eat at including some outside on a balcony. All in all we will stay here again when we go back to Disneyland in the future. Excellent stay!

"Gets the job done."

3
02/12/2015

For the price, the hotel room gets the job done - no frills, room is clean, check in and check out was fast and friendly. Some noise from other guests above, below, and to the sides, but nothing to the point of being disruptive. Only real negative is that the water pressure in the shower is very low regardless of what setting you choose on the shower head. Overall, a good bargain if you're only staying 1-2 nights near Disneyland and just need a place to wash up and sleep

"Awesome Location!"

4
28/11/2015

You can't beat the location ... .3 miles to reach the Disneyland/California Adventure gates. And, the breakfast is an awesome way to start your day. The staff are really nice and housekeeping does a great job. The beds/pillows are comfortable as well. The room we were in was definitely aging ... no fan in the bathroom = layers of peeling paint; cracks in the ceiling of the room; etc. It's definitely in need of upgrades, but it was comfortable.

"Disneyland and LA"

28/11/2015

Great place to stay when visiting Disneyland and LA sites. Motel is in a great location for walking to the Disney resort. Parking at the motel is tight, but available to you for no extra charge if using a rental car. Breakfast was a great way to start the morning all the essentials you would need.

"Very comfortable stay right next to Disney parks"

4
24/11/2015

This hotel doesn't have the most attractive décor, but the service is friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the wifi works, and the free breakfast is pretty tasty (includes eggs and sausage as well as the usual carbs). It is a great place to rest and eat breakfast before tackling Disney. It is an excellent location for walking to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure - about five minutes walk along safe streets. The rooms were quiet after about 10:00 pm, and the clean pool was a fun break from walking around the parks. The advantage of this location is that it is easy to walk back to your room for an afternoon or pre-fireworks break. The free parking was also excellent. We arrived at 11:00 am, and they let us park then even though check-in was not until 3:00 pm. On the morning we checked out, they said we could leave our car there until 6:00 pm.

"So Close to Disney"

4
23/11/2015

This was a great place to stay. Reception staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. The room was a reasonable size, clean and the bed was comfy. We thought we may have been disturbed by the air conditioning but after walking round Disney all day we were exhausted. The breakfast offering was good and continually replenished, there was a balcony where you could sit and eat outside which was pleasant. The hotel states that it is close to the entrance to Disney and that is certainly true. There are only one or two which are closer and the difference in walking distance is negligible. You could be in the park in no time at all and it was great to be able to leave the car for a couple of days. We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly return if the opportunity arose.

"GREAT DISNEYLAND RESORT HOTEL"

23/11/2015

If you want a GREAT WALKING DISTANCE hotel for a Disneyland Resort Vacation Stay HERE!! This is our Most Favorite Hotel The Breakfast is Awesome!! Hot/Cold entrees, yogurt, eggs, meat, cereal, pastries, bagels, etc. The staff is great and the rooms are comfortable. Nothing fancy but your basic room. We used 2 rooms and asked for adjoining doors so the grandparents could watch the grandkids while we went back to the park at night without leaving them alone. There is also a suite available. Best Value for the price. True Walking Distance from Disneyland!

"Perfect location"

23/11/2015

This Hotel is perfectly located for easy walking to the Disneyland Parks. It is very clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. There is a very nice breakfast buffet included with the room. It is our go-to hotel when we visit Anaheim.

"Good Value, Excellent location"

22/11/2015

Stayed 2 nights for a short Disney vacation. Perfect location for walking to Disney. Good selection of breakfast items -- all ready for a quick morning meal. Very friendly and kind staff. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Free wi-fi worked well. It's not a posh place but it is clean, comfortable and safe. Located nearby are a Dennys and a Tony Romas with a Panera opening soon. Nice to have outside-the-park choices for eating. The "Just-so-you-know's" about this property are: - Small pool area - Cramped parking lot - The air conditioning unit in my room was mounted up against the ceiling over the bathroom sink. There was no way to adjust settings, I unplugged the thing overnight. My stay was in late November, so not too big a hassle. I would stay again.

Location, Hot free breakfast. Very satisfied!!! The only issue that drove us crazy were the people above us who let their children run around their room. Also kids running outside in the halls. Extremely difficult to rest. The beds are super hard as well. Wish they would correct this. Frank from maintenance provides outstanding customer service!!!

13/11/2015

We thoroughly enjoy staying at this location. We feel very comfortable and safe here. It is just a very short distance from the main gate at Disneyland, so if needed you can return quickly without having to wait for a shuttle. We have really enjoyed the new breakfast room and all of the good food that is available and a great variety as well. Love this place!

"Great Location to Disneyland!"

13/11/2015

This hotel was inexpensive and in the best location to the Disneyland Parks. We just crossed the street and we were in the parks which it what we wanted. The room was okay in size and it was clean. We didn't need anything grand, as we were not spending much time in the hotel room, so it served its purpose. I would stay here again for convenience and would recommend it!

"Adequate Accommodations, Great Location "

12/11/2015

We stayed here on a recent visit during the Halloweentime festivities at Disneyland. The room was what we expected given the price. Decor, carpet and furnishings were a bit dated but, clean. Upon initially entering the room it was a bit musty but, after running the AC for a bit it seemed to improve. If they would replace the trim and doors in the rooms (versus the layers and years of paint)it would breathe immediate new life. The one area needing the most TLC was the bathroom. While it was clean there was no working fan and the wallpaper in the shower area was bubbling from the moisture. We found the location of our room (on the 3rd floor) to be quiet and the perfect viewing area for the nightly fireworks. The property is extremely well situated and is less than a 10 minute walk to the turnstiles at Disneyland. This proved to be a wonderful feature when taking little ones back to the room to recharge after spending the morning at the parks. The free breakfast offered each day was plentiful and offered a good variety of hot and cold items. They do switch up the daily offerings which was nice during our 5 night stay. We did not make use of the pool area but, it looked clean and well kept. Given the nightly rate we paid this hotel was a bargain. I have stayed at several properties across the street from Disneyland and would definitely keep this on my short list of places to stay in the future.

This is a nice hotel... room was okay nothing too special.. it was clean and perfect to rest after walking all day. Free parking was awesome. I parked early around 10 am. I checked in at 3 pm and when I checked out 2 days later I was able to leave my car parked until 6 pm for no cost. The continental breakfast was good, it had many things to choose from. I also liked that the room includes a microwave, it's very useful. Last year my family and I stayed at the disneyland hotel paid way more and parking/breakfast was not included and there was nothing special about that hotel either. I thought the walk from disneyland hotel to the parks was further than the walk from this hotel to the parks. Also when we stayed at the disneyland hotel We had went out to eat my son fell asleep so I ordered his food to go I had to throw it away as there was no microwave in the room to warm it up as he didn't wake up until the next morning which was a shame because I don't like to throw away food. Next year I will book again at this hotel... an added plus is that dennys is right next to it.. the prices are fair and service was good. Not overpaying for food like the restaurants near the disneyland hotel... Overall my experience was good

"Average hotel, not as nice as the surrounding hotels"

The rate was competitive but the bathroom was disgusting (bugs, mold, hair) and super small. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay here, very impressive! I would recommend the other hotels nearby over this one. Staff was very nice.

"Really enjoyed our stay here!"

02/11/2015

We ended up staying only 1 night at this hotel because we decided to add an extra night to our trip & this was one of the few places to still have a room available. (We must have been lucky & snagged a cancelation because they're already booked up for when our next trip is!) Overall we loved it, I almost wish our whole stay had been here! The room was very clean & the hotel seemed quiet. The bed was very comfy. The front desk staff was very friendly! The breakfast was very good, the day we stayed it offered scrambled eggs, sausage, & roasted potatoes as well as danishes, donuts, toast, english muffins, bagels, & cereal. They also had coffee & juices. The breakfast room is located on the 3rd floor in front of the hotel & offered outdoor seating that looks right at the parks! It was a quick walk to the parks too! Parking was free, although there was an additional $5 "resort fee", I didn't mind because did I mention parking was free?? This is hard to come by on Harbor Blvd! I would love to stay here again!

We have stayed at three properties near Disneyland and prefer this location. The amenities are similar to the another nearby Best Western but the breakfast is better here. Otherwise, it's a clean room in a hotel that was recently renovated and a short walk to the parks.

"Perfect for Disney"

The location cannot be beaten - just a short walk from Disney so you can save all your energy for the parks. We could watch the fireworks from our room in the evening. (3rd floor near breakfast room - thumbs up!) Breakfast is convenient and all included in the price. I would guess the breakfast items were probably heated up rather than cooked from scratch but there was a fair selection of hot and cold items every day and we saved money eating at the hotel each morning. Our daughter was a bit transfixed by the TV in the dining room showing cartoons. The bedroom decor is not very stylish and a bit tired but you get everything you need for a hotel of this price range. The air conditioning is noisy so we left ours off at night. We think this place is great value and have stayed here 3 times now.

"Disneyland across the street. Perfect."

Had the pleasure of staying here last month to visit Disneyland. So convenient and the Best Western staff friendly and hospitable. Best western are pretty much always clean and comfortable. We were able to watch the Fireworks from Disneyland from outside our room at night.

Stayed here 4 nights for Disneyland- can't beat location literally a 2 minute walk to parks and amazing not having to drive back and forth and night or wait for a bus when tired after parks all day. Great breakfast with lots of selection and hotel seems very secure and safe. Good hot tub and pool too which is nice after being in parks all day. Bed comfortable my only complaint would be our room smelled like urine after coming back each time no matter how much perfume was sprayed and that was a bit odd- room extremely clean just the urine smell was gross. Also would have been nice for hotel to let us know that our room was right below breakfast area since every day at 6:30am we woke up to people above scooting chairs and tables across floor and was very loud and hard to sleep through. Would recommend for location.

The location was so easy to get to Disney. It was great not having to get in the car the whole weekend. The Breakfast Buffet that you offer was excellent. Starts your day off right. You save money and everyone likes to save money. Great job! Thanks.

If you are going to Disneyland then this is a great place to stay. Location, location, location. Right across the street. Just a 5 min walk. Older hotel but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice for a quick bite before hitting the parks. Overall a nice place.

This is my go-to hotel when traveling to Anaheim. The entire staff are always friendly and accommodating. While the 2 double rooms are a bit small, I would be hard pressed to find something to complain about. The breakfast is about the best you'll get at any hotel (that doesn't cook to order). It's spacious (a plus to me!), well stocked and has a wide variety of items. The beds are wonderful and I can always count on a great night's sleep! Here's a little hint: at night, go up to the 3rd floor to get a spectacular view of Disneyland!

"Great location, friendly staff!"

Walk to Disneyland from hotel is about 5 minutes. So convenient!!! No waiting for shuttles. FREE parking and free breakfast! We would eat a full breakfast each morning before we went to Disney (what a money saver!). The staff at the hotel were so friendly and accommodating. They made us feel welcome and like they would be willing to help us with anything we needed and they did it with a great attitude. We had a 3rd floor room and could see the Disney Fireworks from our room! Our room was clean with no issues. This is an older hotel but for the price, cleanliness, and location across the street from Disneyland it was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here back in the end of September 2015. I booked this hotel at last minute for a disneyland trip. This hotel wasn't originally where I wanted to book through, but I'm glad I did. PROS: We were running really behind and didn't check in till 12 hrs after check in time. But as soon as we arrived our room was ready for us to crash. About a 5 min walk to disneyland which was a plus, especially with a 4 yr old. Went back to the room couple times during our stay to take a short nap. Breakfast was provided. Decent breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, some pastries and fruits. Just enough to fill up your belly for the morning. Staff was very friendly, and always had a smile and greeted you properly. CONS: Only problem we had was when we checked in, someone left the bathroom window open and the room was hummid. The bed sheets felt moist. Wanted to see if we could change rooms but I was so tired I just delt with it. Will we stay here again, yes we will.

Always stay at this hotel when making a trip to Disneyland. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is yummy and the staff is awesome. This hotel is across the street from Disneyland which is great especially at the end of the night when you are tired. Would hightly recommend it.

Literally 10 minute walk to gate of Disneyland. There are suites that can hold a bigger family. We could see the fireworks of disneyland from out hotel room-no need to fight the crowds. Good breakfast. You can take the Greyline Company express from LAX which drops and picks up about 100 feet up the sidewalk from the hotel (out in front of the other Best Western). round trip $48. Kids free. Walk west and turn the corner and there is a Cheesecake Factory. No need to pay Disneyland inflate prices. We also ate at the Denny's adjacent to the hotel and saved money. Outdoor pool slightly cold, but it was October. There is a resort fee, but I guess all hotels have them.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
It sounds like you took advantage of all that's around us. Thanks for staying with us.

Best location to walk to Disneyland. Great showers, beds and quiet enough to get some rest before your next adventure into Disneyland the next day. No parking hassles or shuttles need to be taken. This place is perfect. Eating your free breakfast on the street balcony is fun. Can watch the employees skateboard to work in the morning.

Great location to Disneyland and local restaurant. Hotel was good. They say queen beds but more like full size. Very uncomfortable to sleep two full adults. I would stay again if they had bigger beds.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
You are correct the beds are full size, my apologies if you were told they were queens. We advertise doubles so no one is disappointed. Again my apologies.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while attending a meeting at the nearby Anaheim convention center. My family was able to take advantage of its close proximity to the Disneyland Resort during my meetings. The breakfast room is wonderful and I enjoyed the fact that the hotel changed some of the breakfast items from the first day to the next, to keep the selections varied. The staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to our next visit!

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
It's great when you can mix business and pleasure and there is no better place than Anaheim with the Convention Center and Disneyland across the street from each other. Thanks for bringing the family.

We stayed at the Anaheim Inn for 3 nights. We flew into LAX and got a shuttle to the hotel. The guests services were friendly and our room was ready when we arrived. Exhausted after a day of travel, we relaxed a bit and decided to go to Downtown Disney for lunch. We came back to the hotel and crashed. The next morning, we met our son and DIL for breakfast at the BW Anaheim buffet located on the third floor. I must say, it was one of the best buffets I have been to at a Best Western Hotel. If you have a family with small children, this is the place for you. The offerings were hearty and tasty. Before you go into the buffet, you must show them your room key and your hotel room number. We would definitely go back to this hotel and stay if we ever get back to Disneyland. They had cereal (hot and cold), sausage, ham, potatoes, hard boiled eggs, fruit, danishes and donuts. This was a full blown breakfast. Denny's is next door, save your money and eat the the Best Western - it's included in your room rate! By the way, the room was clean and quiet.

Sue E, Manager at BEST WESTERN PLUS Anaheim Inn, responded to this review
Thanks for your great description of our breakfast! It's over a year old but we're still excited about it. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

We had a room second floor near the front; nice after a long day at the parks. The room was clean and comfy. Location was about a 10 minute walk to the park entrance. Good selection of breakfast items. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay near the magic!

"Ok Hotel, great location"

The hotel was ok, I like the Best Western Park Place Inn and Mini Suites better. These rooms are outdated, no central A/C. They would not let us take breakfast items back to our rooms, we have to get "permission" and then they had an employee follow us back to the room with the food. Also, many crickets in the room and bathroom, and the beds are horrible.

This was a great place to stay during our visit to Disneyland. It's across the road from the entrance to the park and has a pool for when it gets too hot at the park. The breakfast was okay, not great.

"Your Problem, Not Ours"

I chose this inn because it was very convenience to walk to Disneyland. I traveled with 2 boys and have 4 luggage for our 25 day journey in West Coast. During our stay, we planned to go to SD only for an overnight stay then come back to Anaheim before going to our next stop, Las Vegas. It would not be handy for me to bring all the luggage with us only for 1 day night stop in San Diego. Therefore, I asked the supervisor if they could keep our luggage only for 1 day. She said there was no room for keeping those luggage unless I was willing to pay 1 day extra for the room, but unfortunately they were all booked up. They could only keep luggage for a day, but not overnight. I promised there would be no valuable in our luggage only clothes and they could keep them in the same storage room they normally use for a day keep. But their attitude was like it was your problem, but our policy did not allow to keep luggage overnight due to security reason. This was not an attitude I expected from a reputable hotel chain like Best Western. At least, they showed willingness to help even only for a courtesy. Where was the customer service manner ? I asked the supervisor if I could talk to the manager with hope maybe she could help me to rent outside storage, as normally inn or hotel could hire 3rd party for luggage storage, but again the attitude was the same. I was devastated, it was really ruining my mood 1st day at Disneyland. I then booked at Hilton that night and rushed to move there early in the morning. I did not feel welcomed here, I must pack up and go. I would never think to stay at Best Western again ever.

Booked 6 nights here as the Location was right across the road from the entrance. 5 mins door to door. Plenty of parking if you have a car. More of a Motel style hotel. Check in was fast and our room as ready early and could go in straight away on arrival. Our room was a good size with 2 queen beds. Microwave, fridge etc. Our room was towards the back of the property so it was quiet. Bathroom was small and a few small dead bugs in the bath which I washed down the sink. Tv was a good size. I was hoping for more of a healthy breakfast with more fruit and not so much sugary cereal and pastries etc. There was lots of breakfast choices to choose from just not what Australians would call Healthy. I had toast every day with Vegemite I brought from home. The breakfast never ran out and it wasn't too busy when we went with plenty of inside and outside seating. I didn't use the fitness centre but it looked adequate. The pool was small but it was fine for a swim to cool off or after a long day ay the parks. The spa was warm. I used the laundry and changed some money at reception for quarters to buy detergent and then use the washer and dryer. All machines were big and worked well. I used the computer at reception to print of our boarding passes and that worked well. The staff at reception were lovely and there was nothing they didn't know or couldn't answer. Check out was quick and efficient. They ordered us a cab the night before which arrived on time. I would totally recommend this hotel. Its not 5 star but we were never in the hotel but to sleep. It was far away from the fireworks that it didn't keep you up.

So many restaurants and shops nearby made for convenience for the elderly who cannot walk very far. The breakfast which was included in the tarriff was quite adequate, and the elevators meant that there was no problem getting to the upper floors.

Very good hotel with free hot breakfast. Good service and friendly staff. There is an elevator plus outside stairs to get between floors. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave in every room. It is close to the entrance of Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney plus the shopping and dining of Garden Walk.

The location for a Disney trip is perfect - across the road from the main gates. The rooms are a bit small, but clean & tidy. Breakfast is included & is fairly good & an ideal meal prior to a big day at Disneyland. There is also a laundry on site which is very convenient & the pool is good. Overall, the Anaheim Inn is very good value for those on a budget & looking for an excellent location.

Should be the first choice to enjoy Disney as if you can feel Disney from this hotel. You have Denis next door and the Pizza Express and Tony Roma's for excellent steaks and sea food where you could share one item and will never forget the aroma.

We have at 10:00 AM and park the Car and walk right to the gate of California Adventure land. at the next day we checked out at 10:00 AM but aloud to keep the parking spot until 6;00 PM at no charge. This was a saving of $34 for two (2) days parking. great savings at great convenience.

I read the reviews for all kinds of hotels in the Disneyland area before choosing this one. Some charged for parking. I chose this facility based on its proximity to Disneyland's main gate, the breakfast, and the reviews I read about it. There were 3 adults in our party, and we were all very pleased. It was clean, comfortable, well maintained. The breakfast was good--nicely prepared hot options as well the usual quick cold choices. I had friends staying at one of the Disney hotels--for all they paid for the room, they still had to pay for parking and didn't have free breakfast. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice.
