What to do in Chantilly?

To discover the Oise and its treasures, head to Chantilly and its famous château!

01 - Activity tips in Chantilly

Valérie Zuccato shares her tips for a successful stay in Chantilly.

“There is so much to do. Of course you can discover the history of Chantilly and visit its château. In its dome, the Living Museum of the Horse puts on a magnificent show, renewed twice a year. Then, of course, you can opt for a tasting and make crème Chantilly.”

Walk lovers can also stroll along the Étangs de la Reine Blanche or discover the forest of Chantilly, near the racecourse.

02 - A well-located hotel in Chantilly

At the helm of the Best Western Plus Hotel Du Parc Chantilly for 18 years, Valérie Zuccato has wanted over the years to add her personal touch to the establishment to make it as warm as possible. “From the moment I arrived, I wanted to renovate this establishment entirely in my image. Because for me hospitality is not just about welcoming the guest, but also about making sure they feel at ease in the place.” To achieve such a result, the hotel owner pays particular attention to the décor. Each room is designed to be unique, and meticulously decorated and arranged.

The entrance, for its part, is filled with objects that the manager herself brought back from her various travels, to feel “at home”.

The place does not neglect its belonging to the town either. “The hotel theme is really centred on the horse, which we decline according to the floors. That seemed obvious to me in Chantilly. We really stayed true to the spirit of the town.”
