Best Western Ingleside Inn & Suites

We went on spring break and stayed at this hotel since we had used it before. It is out of the way but that is what we like about it. Not too much traffic and quite at night. Breakfast is good and plenty of items are available.

Trash left in room. Black mold all over ceiling. Poo in toilet. Air conditioner barely worked. The smell in the lobby was obnoxious. Carpet all over the facility was in need of replacing. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Horrible! Service was awful- refused to give us bedding for the pullout sofa. Door to room was open when we arrived. Front desk clerk was rude. Elevator ride from hell- we only took it once- thought it was going to drop. Bathroom door would not shut- totally crooked. Pull out sofa was dirty and there was a random wire sticking out of the wall. Stay elsewhere- seriously lacking in customer service.

Very nice hotel , great area. Nice big sized rooms with awesome amenities. Very nice pool area with Hot Tub and grilling accessories. Great breakfast and very nice and helpful staff members . Overall excellent stay and we enjoyed a lot.

The service of the entire staff was exceptional. The bed was so comfortable that I did not want to get out of it in the mornings. The location was perfect. The best thing about my stay was the friendly staff and the other guest. The worst thing about my stay was the rain and mosquitoes. Which Best Western cannot control the weather nor the mosquitoes.

I booked 2 nights separately as a last minute decision due to circumstance then due to weather the next night. I booked easily online for each night, checked in late-ish each night, (after 7pm). Hotel staff was available each night and processed my check in smoothly. Staff was friendly. The 2nd night I requested a room as close as possible to the entrance due to hurting my ankle earlier that day and they were able to accommodate. Hotel and rooms were clean and spacious. I liked that they had some drinks and snacks available for purchase in the lobby. I would definitely stay again

Very nice hotel with clean room and comfy bed. It was convenient to the location where I had business and was easy to find. Parking was easy. The staff was very nice. The only negative is there are few restaurants open past 8 pm in this area, but not the hotel's fault. They do serve breakfast.

There was a couple hiccups, but overall I enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff that met all needs and helped in anyway they could. Breakfast was always good and ready whenever I went to grab it. Hot Tub was warming and relaxing.

I booked 3 rooms for my family and I. I was unable to be there on the day of check in, but my family was. I called ahead and Jessica guided me through the process of my family being able to check in my absence. It was fairly easy, but she gave me peace of mind knowing that my family was taken care of. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is what you would expect a free breakfast to have. All the menu options seemed to be available and staff is constantly refilling whatever is missing. The Rooms we got had kitchenettes with fridge, microwave, hot plate and they had actual dishes (pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery) this was convenient. Pool has lights that the kids liked and there's is also a hot tub. Anything corpus is about 20- 30 mins away. Not a deal breaker.

You get what you pay for would be the cliche for this hotel. When we arrived our room was missing all toiletries. We had to go back to desk to get soap. The daily service does not exist. The pool was closed an entire day due to cleaning. I would have thought this would be done overnight. We asked for fresh towels and had to go all the way back up to room to trade towels back downstairs. The breakfast was below standard. The front desk people were very nice. Our room was clean upon arrival.

Great hotel and good value. Stay here for an economical hub for Port A and Rockport Area adventures. Ingleside is a quick trip to all of the area communities and has good food and even a movie theatre option. By staying here we had more budget left for sampling all of the great area restaurants. Their TV package is really premium as well.

Don't expect the Ritz as you will be disappointed, if you set your expectations mid-level then you'll be fine. Staff were very friendly, room was nice enough, bed was ok but the pillows are tiny. Stayed a few times and had no real complaints. Breakfast isn't wonderful though.

Good standard hotel with internet and breakfast. Nice gym and installations, the breakfast was very standard and can be improve a little more. For few nits when we stay for business propose it is a good solution.

You can expect only the most courteous, warm, and exceptional staff at this location ! You are guaranteed to feel welcomed and more than comfortable as soon as you walk thru the doors. Andrea runs a tight and smooth running staff like none other I have ever seen before. I traveled extensively over the past 22 years for work and have never ran across a more outstanding bunch as I did here. Everyone at this location deserves to be recognized for the exceptional service they give to everyone who enters their doors Complete excellence in the hospitality field !

Title sums it up. Uncomfortable bed. Dirty room. Dead cockroaches. Empty Jack Daniels bottle. No room phone. Reported it on morning of second day. Nothing done when we checked out 3 days later. No room cleaning in spite of leaving sign out. Lousy, cheap, tasteless breakfast. Coffee was OK. Avoid this place.

I stayed at the Best Western Ingleside Inn, the room was clean, the hotel was right there at my spouse worksite. Holly Gross was the desk clerk which assisted my spouse in getting some glitches cleared with his card, she went over and beyond to ensure that our stay was the best while we were there for a week. She assisted me in getting my spouse birthday cake as well. Thank You soo much Ms. Holly for being a wonderful assistant to my family and their endeavors. I also want, to give a shout out and thanks to the manager Andrea Bice & her husband who offered to take me to the store to get the things I needed because my husband had the vehicle. This place is one of the top hotels I have stayed in.

Arrived on Monday. Property was new and appeared clean. Plexiglass up around front desk. Signs requesting masks up and visible. Employees behind the glass had no masks on. When I later saw them in the lobby and breakfast area none had masks on. Room was clean. On Wednesday put the service room placard on the door and left for a day of fishing. Upon our return at 7:00 P.M. the placard was still on the door and the room had not been serviced. Went to front desk and was told it had to be put on the schedule. we put it on the schedule for Thursday. Thursday morning verified with the front desk that it was on the list. I had already emptied trash in the front lobby entrance trash can and needed trash bags and towels. Upon our return at 7:00 P.M. again the placard was still on the door and room had not been serviced. Went to front desk and was told it had to be scheduled. I explained it was put on the list. I was so frustrated I told them I was going to my vehicle to get some fresh towels since we always take extra essentials for occasions like this. No one tried to apologize or make any sort of reparations. This establishment caters to the hard working people that work at the local energy and construction businesses in the area. That is commendable. Unfortunately less than half felt it necessary to wear a mask. I am not a doomsday advocate but there is such a thing a common courtesy. I hope if you decide to stay that you have a better experience. I for one will never stay at this location again. I have always had satisfying stays at Best Western just not this one.

The hotel was sanitized regularly and you will have a nice and quiet sleep. Additionally they have full kitchens for longer stay guests which come in handy when trying to safe money. There is a pool on site. The only drawback is that is almost half an hour from Corpus Christi, but if you do not mind the drive, this is the place to rest.

Probably a place to go back with my family in futur, bigger size room and we loved the kitchenette where we made a diner in the room. We enjoyed the breakfast that was offered. The decor of the outside hotel was colorful.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Received a notice on 2nd day of 3 day stay that rooms would not be getting full service because of Covid unless we were there at least 7 days. Could understand that, but there was NO service. Only reason trash was emptied is because we set the cans outside the door. One of the two burners and the refrigerator in the kitchenette was not working. Was told they could put us in another room, but we had already unpacked and were tired. Carpet in hallway had large stains.

This hotel is our favorite place to stay! Yatin, Karen and staff always make us feel very welcome and like family! The hotel is always very clean and the swimming pool is a amenity! The breakfast is yummy with several choices! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Nice hotel. Recently remodeled so it was really nice. Room was a kitchenette suite and it had everything you could could possibly need. I highly recommend it. Really quiet area. Just what we needed. The breakfast was fresh and hot. It was really cozy.

The Manager must be very happy at home and she brings it to work with her! I've been in many Hotels where management is helpful but not happy to help.The Manager at Best Western is funny and very knowledgeable about the area in the Ingleside Best Western Inn & Suites! All of the Best Westerns I've stayed in have been very comfortable and very clean but enjoyed staying there the most!

We had the best experience at the Best Western, we anticipated only being there a few days, but when our home closing was delayed, we had to stay 4 additional days. The staff were great and were very accommodating! Thanks so much!

The Hotel was very nice and looked pretty new. The room was large with kingsized bed, large bath, flat screen tv, full refrigerator, 2 burner built in stove, microwave, sink and was fully furnished with dishes for 4, cookware, utinsels, and silverware. The staff was super friendly and accomadating. The pool was very nice and a good size....opens at 10am and closes at 10am and they are strict on those times. The pool furniture was new and colorful. Location is great as it is 10-15 minutes from beach at Port Aransas and 10 mins from various resturants in Portland and Corpus Christi. We will go back even if it is a one night stay while going to the beach.

This hotel was way above my expectations. I've stayed at many BW and this was the best so far. Called ahead to verify my reservation and Larry confirmed. He also answered some questions I had about the hotel. Manager Andrea was extremely professional and kind. Staff all around was great! Pool was nice, clean and inviting. Fitness center was clean. Cleanliness of hotel was immaculate and housekeeping was very kind. Their king bed was unbelievably comfy! Location was perfect to Corpus and Port Aransas. This mini vacation went exceptionally well. 5 star hotel!

I planned a trip to the Texas Coast for my Mother (84 yrs old) and two Aunts (85 yrs old and 80 yrs old), since they hadn't been there in over 30 years. When we checked into the rooms (which were booked through a website not the Hotel) the reservation was not as requested. My mother complained to Katie at the Front Desk, (not understanding how online booking works). Katie and her Manager Andrea went over and above to assist me with anything I needed and to make this trip even more memorable for these 3 wonderful women. The service Best Western Ingleside provided us from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was A+++++. Will always stay here and will recommend to everyone. Best Trip Ever!

Disappointed in MainStay reservation policy. I booked through a third part sight and paid in advance. I knew the no cancel policy. When wife felt unsafe, they refused to work with us. Left hotel without staying a night. Security system located in fitness center???

We had a family reunion and booked here. Some of us had an okay experience, but others not so much. A few were very dissatisfied with their rooms (either smelled strongly of urine or mildew) and opted to find lodging elsewhere. Our room was fine! Sandy at the front desk was absolutely fantastic and will tell you where to go do fun things for FREE!!! She gave us directions to go dolphin watching, where to look for live sand dollars, beaches, parking, great restaurants, you name it Sandy can tell you where to find it or make a recommendation! Yay Sandy!!! My biggest complaint (and one I heard voiced by many other guests - in and not in our party) is this hotel immediately bills the credit card you made your reservation with upon check in, not when you check out as is standard hotel practice everywhere else! One man said he booked for work using his personal card to make the reservation but intended to pay with a company card upon checking out; however after arriving he discovered his personal card had already been charged $3000!! My niece tried to change her bill to a different credit card than what her reservation was made with and the hotel charged both cards! We were told it takes at least two weeks to get the credit applied back to the card, too (really feel bad for the guy out $3000!!). Bottom line, rooms are hit or miss, Sandy is awesome, breakfast is good (and free), it was quiet, and you will be pre-billed. I probably wouldn't book here again, but would stay if I could check out the room(s) before staying (must give 24 hour cancellation notice or you are charged for/have to pay). I would pop in and ask Sandy questions, if I was in the area!

Stayed 3 nites for a basketball tournament in Aransas Pass. Room had regular size fridge and microwave with stove top burners and did not use. Room was clean with no carpet stains and had plenty of hot water any time of the day as well. Front desk clerk Sandy was very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast consisted of waffles, breakfast sausage, biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs which were not the best each morning. Also cereal, oatmeal, coffee, juice and toast which all were served the same each morning with no variety. Convenient location to all coastal areas. The room was quiet throughout the day.

During my stay of a consecutive week upon check out I forgot 2 brand new pairs of NIKE shoes an all white and all black pair. After I got out of work I went back to pick them up the front desk attendant stated that absolutely nothing was found in the room. 2 $115.00 pairs of shoes just went missing (in which we all know clearly someone took them). The fact that this situation has occurred proves that these people that are employed here are not honest people and do not follow correct protocol. Anything that is found in the rooms should be immediately reported to the supervisor (who would take record of the finding) then place in lost and found for a period of time before disposal. Which I'm 100% sure it isn't supposed to be disposed after 9 hours. I called the hotel asking for a manager and they claimed the manager wasn't available. Still haven't received a call back . I'm expecting a full refund of my expense for shoes I paid that one of the employees is surely enjoying for themselves. This place completely disgusts me.

way off. A very pleasant surprise for a last minute trip to Port A. The front of the hotel was very clean and well kept. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was in spite of being located on a highway. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room rate was about right for the area.

Could not be more pleased. I was in Ingleside for 6 days for work and Mainstay Suites was awesome. I had a queen suite - loads of room, very comfy bed and a great kitchen area. My room was surprisingly quiet even though the hotel was full most nights. I didn't have a chance to try the pool/hot tub, but they looked great. The breakfast is available 5 - 10 a.m. - very convenient. Ian, the manager, and the girls at the front (Stephanie and Sandy) were extremely helpful. My company typically uses one of the other extended stay hotels in the area, but I'm recommending they start using Mainstay Suites as the go to. Loved it.
