Best Western Hotel Northwest Corpus Christi Inn & Suites, Corpus Christi

We stayed 1 night in this hotel. The check-in was quick and professional. The large room with a king size bed also had a sofa and plenty of lamps. We were pleased with the well working AC which kept us warm during the severe cold spell. We had an issue with the noise from the nearby freeway – even though the mattress was comfortable for a good nights sleep - because our window was facing it. Certainly there are quieter rooms in other parts of the hotel. There was some dry food on the carpet and an empty roll of toilet paper on the holder, otherwise it looked clean. The breakfast was alright with the regular food items (cereal, waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast i.e.). A large nice looking pool belongs to the hotel but it was way too cold to think about taking a swim. The restaurant right next door looked like a popular place with a full parking lot but we didn't eat out. We would stay at this BW again.

I stayed one night for a school trip and even though it was paid for the minute I stepped in to my friends room their was a roach crawling on the wall behind the tv and one in front of the tv. My little brother was messing around the room crawling when I stopped him from trying to drop the lamp when I saw literal mold inside the lamp it was disgusting. When I asked for a small thing of milk they had none unless I had my own cup to fill it with like why would I take a cup to a hotel like WTF!! I recommend one thing to spend your 300$ somewhere else.(

From checkin with Justin to breakfast with Lydia everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. The room actually had enough towels for all four of us (often there seems to be only three) so we didn't have to return to the front desk to ask for another towel. That was really nice since we didn't arrive until quite late and were pretty tired from driving. There was plenty of space in the bedroom area and the bathroom and everything looked well taken care of. There was a variety of tasty offerings at breakfast - waffles, chorizo eggs, potatoes, tortillas and sausage patties in addition to cereals, fruit and yogurt. I highly recommend a stay here.

Sorry, but, was so disappointed. Killed 3 Roaches before calling it a night and the toilet did not flush! Did call and let the desk know, but it was 'too late and hotel was full.' But, next day, no one came by to fix!!

The location was great and the room was okay for the price paid, but the front office customer service needed improvement. Late into the evening, loud arguments and noise in the hallway and neighboring rooms, along with jumping in the room above us, went unaddressed or improved after letting the Front Desk know of the noise disturbance that was near midnight and continued.

This hotel is a rundown joke. I took my family of four for my grandfather funeral and it was the worst experience of my life. Front desk man was rude and burned out We rented the King Suite it was time and Disgusting. The couch had white stains all over it. And the curtains also had a white substance on them as well. Whenever we pulled out the bed sheet that was tucked under the bed mattress we exposed a spot that looked like to be vomit that hadn't been washed. We also had aunt all in the room all over our kids toys and our food and kids food. I told the front desk guy at check out He was the same guy at check in he said OK and had a blank stare. These two nights were hell for my family wish I would have taken my $300 elsewhere!!!!

We traveled to Corpus Christi over Christmas and this hotel was a recommended stay. The rooms were cleaned and cleaned daily as our stay was for four nights. The beds were very comfortable and a nice breakfast was available each morning. the folks at the desk were very nice and helpful also. The gal working during our stay was quite helpful in recommending place to eat and see during our stay. Will stay here again!

Ice machine in the 1st flooe, snacks, fitness center, close to good restaurants, spacious room, quite and comfy, had iron and iron bed, tooth brush and comb, all showering necessities, free drinks at the bar from 6 to 8 was the best thing ever

We checked in the day before thanksgiving. Thanksgiving morning there was a roach in the bathroom on the counter. We left for the day and when we came home in the evening and walked in there was two roaches on the dresser the tv sits on. The carpets are also disgusting. My baby was crawling for about 5 minutes on the floor and when I picked her up her hands were black from the carpet. We were just so grossed out with everything that we left the hotel to go to another that evening. We were supposed to stay three nights. Only stayed the one. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

The guy who checked us in was amazing. He remembered who we were when we arrived at the hotel from taking our reservation on the phone. He also remembered us the next day when we came back from our outing. The breakfast was hot, the lady taking care of it was very friendly, which was very welcoming, and internet worked well. Overall, it was very a very comfortable, welcoming stay.

The Best Western Northwest Corpus Christy is the place to stay if you are in Corpus Christi Texas. The hotel is clean and the people that work at the hotel are grate. Everyone always had a smile on there face and a cheerful work for everyone.

Great place to stay, friendly atmosphere and staff was very nice upon reservations as well checking in and out of the hotel. Room was very clean and breakfast was very good and atmosphere was definately very inviting.

Because another hotel in area was short staffed and couldn't provide the check in time that was said, I had to change to this hotel and wasn't charged an extreme rate for "day of" cost. It was very helpful in our need.

I've been to several best western and tried to give this 1 a shot even though I read mixed reviews the lady that checked me in was very nice & she let me check in early (thank you) that was the pleasant part then it got bad, the stairs are faster than the elevator, I understand this was supposed to be a remodeled hotel (it must've been a rush remodel) enter the room the smell of mildew or some old smell was awful, (we immediately went to Walmart) floor wasn't vacuumed crumbs on floor the bed was comfortable that's why I gave them a 2 rating, now the breakfast was the worst breakfast we have everrr had biscuits not done, gravy was nasty, eggs watery, the waffle I made was the best part, didn't eat it all me and the husband decided to go get breakfast elsewhere, What's the use of getting hotel with breakfast if it's not eatable this was a disappointment will not stay here again

Room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. All of the amenities were in good working order. Staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Didn't use any of the available options on this trip since I was rushed, but the breakfast has always been good with several options available. Facility is really nice.

During this trip we stayed in 3 different hotels and this was by far my favorite! Very clean atmosphere. The king suite/room was huge and the bathroom as well. It's within 20-25 minutes from the beach.

Our company has stayed at hundreds of hotel and this one is by far the best hotel our company has ever used. Justin in the front desk and Jaime the Happy Hour bartender both made us feel at home. I was greeted by Monica and the rest of the staff for our 3 night stay a few weeks ago, for my sister's birthday fishing trip. They were able to accommodate to my request of having a bottom floor room, since my mom has bad knees, but the hotel has stairs and an elevator, in case you were wondering. The room was slightly humid but we turned on the AC and that fixed the issue. Beds were super comfortable. Bathrooms were roomy. Be aware of the tub and use the bath mat because it is very slippery. I know because I slipped but I'm okay. I enjoyed their dining area for Happy Hour (Mon-Thurs from 6pm-8pm) and their Full Hot Breakfast too. Great thing is, the menu changes daily. You'll always get eggs but then you'll have a compliment of sausage one day, biscuits and gravy another day, ham and potatoes, chorizo, etc. That was great!!! In case you forget something, the hotel can provide you with sundries. But there's a Walmart across the highway and it's easy to get to it. Many restaurants nearby as well. I would definitely stay here again.

My traveling partner chose a Motel 6 to visit Corpus. When we arrived, we were told we had no room to stay in. So we scrambled to find another hotel. Since I have stayed at this Best Western before, I gave them a call and they had a room for us. We were checked in really quick. I enjoy BW's breakfast but I didn't get to partake in it this time around. Otherwise, my stay was perfect and will definitely return should I visit the Corpus Christi area again.

The employees were so nice. The front desk, the ladies in the breakfast room and the maid. The a/c was noisy and kept waking us up and the toilet was so short, I felt like I was sitting on the floor. Extremely pleased with how we were treated by the staff.

BW was close to our event venue. Check in was smooth and even got an upgrade. The rooms were quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and considerate. Housekeeping was friendly and efficient. We booked this hotel because if the price and they had breakfast. It was a great stay. Staff was amazing and helpful. Definitely would book again here, they did not let me down in any area. Great trip.

Lobby is very nice, it appears all the money went into the remodel of it and not into rooms. Wet smell in rooms and AC did not work in the first room or 2nd room we changed in the middle of the night.

Stayed here again for graduation and to see new baby. Had a great time in Corpus. This hotel is the only one we stay at every time we visit from South Carolina. Easy to find, easy to get on and of interstate and across from a Walmart. The rooms are big and clean.

The staff was very attentive to anything we needed, they were faster than we expected any hotel to be. Very quiet area and and very friendly and helpful staff. They do have complimentary drinks from 8-9pm I believe that was brought up to our attention at check in along with breakfast.

Great hotel. Super clean. Complimentary Breakfast was perfect. Convenient to restaurants and a Walmart right across the street for groceries and gas. Only twenty minutes away from the USS Lexington and a 30 minute drive to Bob hall pier. Definitely staying here again in the future.

This was a really nice hotel outside of corpus Christi. The staff was super nice and promptly got us checked in. the rooms clean and newly renovated. There was free beer and wine in the lobby from 6- 8 which was a good touch. The continental breakfast in the morning was great and the showers and bathroom were big. Everything about our stay was great, we'll definitely be staying here again when we're in Corpus Christi.

Overall very nice hotel. Rooms smell clean look clean and are clean. I would definitely be staying here again. The fitness room could use a couple more weight machines. The pool is very nice well maintained.

This was our first time staying at a Best Western and we had great service as we checked in. The rooma was nice and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It was real quite so we got a great night sleep. Breakfast was complementary and was delicious. We will definitely Stay there next time we are through the area.

This is a great place to stay. The staff is amazing, the property looks like a new property on the inside and is very well kept and very clean, The complimentary happy hour/social hour was a nice touch and the service there was above par as well. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, the staff is friendly and professional and makes you feel welcomed and important. If in Corpus and not worried with being near the beach, you should stay here.

This room was huge! Full full kitchen, full living room, office space and separate bedroom. I wish I could've stayed longer because this was a very comfortable and quite room. Staff was nice and very accommodating.

Family vacation stay was fantastic at this hotel! Loved it and recommendations all the way! The only drawback was short of parking in the evening but other than that we had a great time visiting CC and having a relaxing stay in our room.

Rooms are clean, everything you need in a hotel stay. Breakfast was good. Check out at 11, wish it was at 12 or 1. Slept well and the staff went above and beyond. Hotel is not far from downtown corpus. Took us less than 10 minutes to get to the aquarium.

This was our second stay. Everything was fine except the biscuit-esque pillows on the bed (this seems to be the trend with hotels) and the fake eggs for breakfast. Excellent staff and clean facilities, we'll stay again.

One of my favorite places in Texas is the charming city of Corpus Christi. When visiting the city I would highly recommend the ultra modern and clean Best Western Northwest Corpus Christi Inn & Suites. Super friendly staff by the way :)

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly. The room was very nice for the price. The only complaint was that their parking was not up to par. We had to park on the opposite end of the hotel from our room. There is not enough parking to accommodate the amount of people staying at the hotel and being located along the freeway, I worried about theft. They do have security cameras so that was a little bit of a relief.

I've stayed in this hotel sometime earlier this year because I had a show to do in corpus, it's a really comfortable and convenient hotel that I had to stay there again. It's conveniently Close to gas stations, restaurants, and a Walmart in like a five block radius. Every time I come to corpus this is the hotel I stay in, thank you best western Northwest. Not only for the great rooms but for the awesome staff as well.

Great front desk service, great breakfast, very friendly, caring staff! Will definitely be returning to this and other Best Western hotels. Thank-you for making my stay such a great relaxing one— sure appreciate it!

enjoyed my stay, will stay here when I come back for work. Easy access, friendly staff, nice rooms, just wish there was a restaurant on premises. there is a good restaurant next door. Walmart across highway from this hotel breakfast is good but could be serviced and refilled a little faster, of course it was all men eating early in the morning so it may have been hard to keep up.

Great stay as usual its nice to know that you will have a clean room with great service and delicious breakfast waiting. I will no longer take my chances with random chains I am a Best Western fan all the way!

Despite the rude young lady at the front desk, overall great stay, rooms and hotel really clean and comfortable, plenty of towels, pool was awesome, rooms at controllable temp, great plus. Family friendly, and if you want a midnight snack, lobby has good microwaveable snacks. Free breakfast was even better!

I made our reservation through the Hotel website 3 weeks before our stay. Arrive at the hotel to check in went to the room it was a double queen looking at our email confirmation it was for a king room called down to the desk was told this was the last room they had, ok we made do. Went on with our 2 day stay, on the check out my husband notices that we had agreed to one cost at check in and at check out it was $10.00 higher per night then what we had agreed to, desk clerk was no help in answering why so got the manager. Finally after a long argument they let us have it for agreed price. Wanting to leave early to drive our 7 hrs home, left an hour later because of something that should have only took a minute, we think they just didn't want us to notice. On Saturday morning after my meeting with my work crew , I took my kids the pool and asked for late check out . we finished up at pool around 11:45am , we went to rooms to shower and get packed. once we started to load cart housekeeping lady came into room rudely screamed at my kids hurry up and leave I have to clean or pay for another room. I felt that was unprofessional of her and asked her named , she then stated she was told by front desk to get us out of the room .... not what I'm use too at all...

Front desk staff was amazing, breakfast was great and staff there was amazing. Housekeeping did a great job but ate some of my chocolates one of the days we were there so that was strange and a bummer. No hot tub, but the pool was super warm due to the weather (and clean), so that was ok. Overall, great experience.

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds, and relaxing stay. We ususally stay here twice, sometime three time per year. Have never experienced any problems in the past 3 years. Highly recommend! Close to resturants, Wal-Mart, Dollar stores, Harbor Freight, Hobby Lobby, and less than 10 minutes from the RMB Fairgrounds..

The entire hotel was very clean - the lobby, the dining area, the rooms, etc...! The hotel employees were extremely professional and willing to answer any questions. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

All the staff are personable and knowledgeable about where to go. The hotel was nice and clean and the Beds were comfortable. Beach is only 20 minutes from the beach, 45 minutes from the ocean. Perfect location to all stores and restaurants.

The food here is really good, we went in with low expectations and were blown away. I was super impressed. My son has a new favorite hotel. Between the pool, the breakfast, and the fact that you can walk next door and eat dinner, you can't lose.

This hotel was ok for the location and price. We stayed in the family suite with two king beds and a pull out sofa on the second floor for one night on our way to South Padre Island. When we arrived, there was only one luggage cart for the entire hotel. Quick check in, but when we got to the room, there was a strong mildew smell and we soon figured out that the air conditioning unit was leaking and the carpet near it was completely soaked. When we told the front desk, the young lady was kind of curt and responded "well I don't have another room for you". We didn't want another room necessarily, just someone to look at the problem and resolve it. No one ever did. The musty, mildew smell was so strong, I had to wash all our clothing in the suitcase when we got to our destination. The pool area was nice and the complimentary breakfast was decent, comparable to most other hotels of the same caliber. Would possibly stay again if the room issue was rectified.

I now always stay at this location while working in the Calallen/Corpus Christi area and have always had good experiences. The staff are very professional and courteous, and the rooms are always clean and in good working order. The breakfast in the morning is very good, and the breakfast attendant is very courteous.

Such a fantastic hotel to stay in!!! Definitely one of the best in Corpus Christi Texas it's located conveniently 20 minutes away from downtown Corpus Christi, Very tranquil area with plenty of restaurants , Convenience stores, and supercenter to choose from, literally blocks away from the hotel. The staff is so helpful and so kind breakfast is amazing, and from 6 to 8 they have an open bar with awesome bartenders, The rooms are super clean and the bed extremely comfortable having me sleeping like a baby in minutes. I was in Corpus Christi for work and let me tell you every time I come to Corpus Christi, Best western Northwest will be my go to hotel every single time.

The bottom floor rooms have an overwhelming smell of mold/mildew. We also found a molded salad under the chair in the room that had been there for a few weeks it appeared. The staff is nice and the breakfast is a nice addition. 3 stars is a generous review.

Hotel staff provides some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. People are friendly, greet you, ask how everything is going and actually seem to care on how your stay with them is going. Location is about 15 min North of the airport, just off the interstate. There is a Chili's, Bill Mill BBQ nearby with a local Mexican Restaurant (that is within walking distance) Other than that, there is some fast food places but not much to eat nearby. That is the only downside to this hotel but definitely wouldn't prevent me from staying there again. Free Happy Hour Monday thru Thursdays is something to take advantage of. Place is newly renovated so it looks really nice. King size bed I slept on is some of the best sleep I ever got at a hotel. I recommend this place if you are in the area and don't need to have beach side somewhere or don't mind driving a few exits away for places to eat (non-fast food).

The room smelled like mildew if you didn't have the a/c unit on very cold. The a/c unit rattled which of course was annoying. The shower head leaked and there was hardly any water pressure. The staff was very nice and the location worked for our needs.

This is a great place to stay at. Very comfortable beds. The rooms are very clean, everything is in good working order, and the service persons are very friendly. There is plenty of hot water for your showers ( no need to be concerned about your kids using up all the hot water, like at home). Parking areas are well lit, for your convenience and safety. Room service is thorough and swift. We did not take advantage of the in-room internet nor the free breakfast, but others in our group did, and they did mention their satisfaction with these amenities.

The hotel is a 15 or 20 minute drive from Corpus Christi, but it's very near the places we were going (we were birding). They have an excellent breakfast, available starting quite early, and the kids loved the pool.

Hotel was nice and clean. Will be returning next week for business. Front desk clerk was very nice and friendly. Could not get the treadmill to come on in the fitness room. .. that was my only complaint. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Great location! Quiet rooms. Reasonable rates. Good breakfast! Pleasant stay! Would stay there again. Really enjoyed the peace. All employees were kind and helpful. Rooms, hallways and entrance were clean. No problems that I could think of.

I stayed at this location the nights of March 16 and 17 and had a king bed suite on the second floor....a very quiet location. Megan the desk clerk, who helped make my reservation over the phone, was on duty when I checked in and was very helpful and professional. So was the young man on evening shift both days. My room was large and comfortable and has black-out drapes, which I like. Breakfast is offered daily and is good. Julia the breakfast lady is very outgoing and makes sure guests are satisfied with their food . The hotel is located on Hwy 77 and is near a Walmart, several restaurants and other shopping. I would stay here again if in the area

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The workout room has about every kind of equipment you can need or want. Breakfast is okay. They have free drinks some evenings. The room was pretty good. It has the old air conditioners that just have higher and lower for settings.

The front desk staff were great and accommodating even before we arrived. Great clean room and restroom/shower. Great breakfast with lots to choose from loved the cinnamon Texas shaped waffles. And the happy hour was a nice surprise. Definitely coming back soon!

This was our second time to stay at this hotel. Both experiences were great. We do a lot of traveling for business and appreciate a clean, friendly place to call home for a few days. Plus, there was a happy hour where friends could gather.

My stay at the Northwest Corpus Christi Best Western was pretty perfect! The lobby was clean and inviting. The staff was professional and accommodating. And the room was large, well-appointed, and comfortable! While I did not take advantage of the extras, they had a free happy hour and breakfast available in a beautiful dining area near the lobby. I was impressed with this location and will definitely be returning!

We found this hotel comfortable and clean. Staff was excellent in getting to little issues, The breakfast was fresh and nice variety. We would recommend this hotel stay. Close to shopping and freeway.

We arrived early and only had to wait a short while to check in. The staff here rocks! The rooms were comfy and clean, as was the hotel. It is conveniently located off 77 with easy access to either north or south I-37. We didn't stay for breakfast, but they had a great happy hour with soup (delicious homemade chicken vegetable) that we definitely enjoyed. We will be back again when working in the area.

Stayed here for Labor Day weekend. Hotel is good, staff is very helpful however its age shows in its infrastructure. I would suggest to color the rooms in lighter shade as the dark color makes it very uninviting and dull. Major drawback is its location from main city. However the best part of the stay was the buffet breakfast. Great variety of food items available to suit every taste and preferences. I would suggest that they increase the number of waffle irons since its the most popular item and as each individual one takes time to make, people have to wait a long time for their turn. Also increase the buffet timing to 10 am as people on holiday would like to relax and take their time to get ready and come for breakfast instead of rushing it. Overall a good experience.

Best Western Hotel in Calallen Corpus Christi is an excellent hotel to stay when visiting this city. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast is great. Beds are very comfortable. The pool area is clean. Right off the highway and plenty of restaurants. Clean and quiet hotel and the staff was so helpful. The only bad part was air conditioning in the hallways was off so it was warm and renovation is nice but the paint is messy in areas.

Hotel was kinda far from beach but it was manageable, beds were comfortable, rooms and pool were clean, we spent whole day in the pool. Lady on the front let me check in before 3:00pm because my kids were burned by jellyfish on north beach, she was so sweet to let me in. Breakfast was good Overall we had a great time at this hotel. My husband and I spent the night here to excape the heat at home. Hotel had recently been renovated and looked nice at first. I was not until we viewed the restroom, that we discivered the shotty work the contractors did. I don't know how the hotel management didn't notice the wallpaper sticking out of the base board, or the tile that was missing in the shower. The worst part and most annoying was the toilet papar holders. They have the same toilet paper holder from my elementary school. It only let us use three sheets at a time! Never have I stayed at a hotel that rationed toilet paper like this.

It was a quick trip for me. I really just wanted a nice place at a reasonable price. I have stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites at various locations in the past, and I have not had a bad experience at any of the franchised locations. This location is no exception. After business meetings, I just wanted to go to my comfortable bed. That is exactly what I did ~ Aha ... Once I was in my room after a long day ~ all I wanted to do was get a restful sleep. Once my head hit the pillow I was out like a light! Great quality at a decent price. Enjoy!

I really enojoyed staying at this hotel, very pleased it is clean and comfortable. It gets kind of noisy due to highway but I stayed on the back side of the hotel so it wasnt that bad. I will considered it next time I go back to corpus, but it is kind of farr of corpus it took is half an hour to come and go to corpus but it was okay with us.
