Abbiamo cenato al ristorante la sera del 15/08. Bel locale, con posti all'aperto lungo il fiume. Atmosfera cordiale e cibo buono. I piatti sono vari, dal classico fish and chips al risotto, hamburger o pesce. Adatto per una cena informale e rilassata nella gay street di Manchester.

Questo hotel, consigliato pressoché ovunque, ha deluso le mie aspettative. La nostra suite era tra le migliori, ma dislocata su due piani il che non è il massimo. L' "armadio" (se così puó chiamarsi) era al piano superiore, ove si accedeva solo tramite una piccola scaletta. Il bagno, sebbene ampio, mancava del tutto di piani di appoggio ( anche solo per un beauty case). Frutta e caffè di benvenuto molto graditi, con bollitore in camera a disposizione e mini bar dai costi onesti. La zona del gay village nel week end me la sarei aspettata più vivace, ma probabilmente questo é un elemento di favore. Se tornassi a Manchester, comunque, farei una scelta diversa.

All'hotel darei tre stelle, ma per via della zona in cui è situato ne merita 4. Il servizio è discreto, le camere sono spaziose e sufficientemente pulite e il personale è gentile. Uscire la sera è perfetto in quanto si è praticamente al centro. Mi sentirei di consigliarlo anche se il prezzo forse era un pò troppo elevato.

Hotel situato in una zona della città molto centrale (1 minuto a piedi dalla stazione di Piccadilly) e vivace. La sera si può scegliere tra molti ristorantini, bar e locali aperti. L'hotel è carino e l'arredamento è molto particolare. La colazione è buona ed è possibile ordinare ciò che si vuole scegliendo tra numerose proposte. Volendo si può anche cenare nel ristorante dell'hotel (buon rapporto qualità/prezzo). Personale gentile e disponibile.

Ottimo hotel a due passi dal centro di Manchester, quartiere gay village. A prima vista un po' austero, molto "inglese" ma il servizio è veramente ottimo, camere spaziose e arredate ottimamente. Accoglienza con biscotti, the e latte veramente apprezzabile. Ottima anche la colazione. La sera si è al centro della vita notturna, si paga un piccolo scotto in termini di "rumore" di fondo ma niente che disturbi il sonno. Prezzi allineati al costo della vita locale Se passo ancora di la mi rifermo.
