Paper thin walls and noisy neighbors. There seem to be a lot of folks who work together that all stay here and like to party at 4 in the freakin' morning! Coming and going in and out of each other's rooms. Connecting room doors are not insulated and you can hear every little sound. I could even hear coughing and I am hard of hearing!

"Overnight stay"

Excellent overnight stay when in the area. I will use this motel again. Only problem for me is that prepacked breakfast to go is not gluten free. The unit is very clean, quiet, beds are comfortable, and the floors are hardwood, so no carpet to hold allergens or stains.

"Okay for a place to catch some zzzs overnight."

date of stay: 23 April 2022 I've stayed at several BW properties of the last month and this was the only one to NOT have breakfast. To make matters worse, there was no notice at check-in that breakfast was not offered. Has I known, I would have adjusted my departure time. The property sits right up to the Interstate boundary, so try to get a room that faces away from the highway. There was also a lot of light leakage into the room after the lights were put out. The bed (mattress) was comfy, the pillows were not. New fixtures in the bath, water pressure was fine.

The rooms are very clean, very comfortable beds, and friendly staff. We stay here frequently and have had a positive experience every time. Within walking distance of decent restaurants. Plenty of truck parking.

"Pleasant Stay"

Pleasant stay, friendly and courteous staff. Nice clean rooms. Will stay again and definitely will recommend. Plenty of parking and a few places to get some food nearby. They give you a brown breakfast bag to go.

"Ok but the room was dirty"

Check in went well and the staff was friendly however the Bed sheets were stained and dirty and the TV did not work. Staff was friendly and the rest of the room was clean so the only bad thing was those two items.

We stay here many many times and I am an employee of best western so sometimes it is a hassle to be charged the deposit each and every time. I leave the room clean every time so the hold on the card does get annoying. This time we checked in, the fridge in the room had rotting food which caused a huge stench. This gives us the impression that the houskeepers miss many details, but since we have stayed here so many times before we knew the rooms are always decently clean so it must have been a mistake. Also, I did put a request in for bottom floor near office, and they stuck me right by the highway. It does give the impression that they might not care for certain guests needs. Staff is friendly, rooms are decently clean.

I was so impressed with the competence annd friendliness of the Front Desk clerk that worked the evening of January 1, 2022. He was also well dressed and handome :-). The room was modern and clean. Best value in Williams!

Not sure where in the complex the satisfied guests stayed, but I would have been better going elsewhere. We are loyal BW members and this was a let down. I will say that the bed was comfortable. Yet the heater was OBNOXIOUS!! Loud, rattled and apparently does not warrant any actual attention as other guests complain about the heater also. If I turned it off then we froze. Just sharing the info with management is useless. There's one goal: a customer's comfort and relaxation from the road. Not this place. Freeway noise comes right through the walls. Finally, if you get a breakfast bag at checkout, how do we microwave the hot pocket? No machine in the lobby! We appreciate a roof over our head and are blessed with being able to stay in places on the road, but we pay good money for it too. Sadly, Surestays do not guarantee a sure stay.

"disappointing"

had stayed at this BW before, was surprised at lousy cleaning - dead fly pressed into window curtain, and no bath soap, only tiny facial bar. No coffee, nothing at front desk for breakfast, the coffeemaker and single serving in package in room produced undrinkable bilge.

The room heater was extremely LOUD. I called the front desk. I was told there wasn't anything that could be done. I ask for a discount for the inconvenience and was told there wasn't anything wrong with the room. I took a recording of the noise from the heater.... The tub/shower had mold around the tiles and tub. The mop boards were very dirty. When I sat down on the toilet it rocked....

Front desk young man very accommodating. All though i was sort of bitchy he helped me get a room downstairs and a non smoking room. After i calmed down he impressed me by keeping his cool and helping me out. Thank you! You guys made a great choice by employing that young man in Williams Ca.

"Smoking expectations"

I have to admit that my expectations for a smoking room were not anything close to what I got. I've gone into smoking rooms that have a dingy smell and the walls and furniture look dingy and coated with a filmy residue. The room I walked into was very clean and smelled fresh and it was inviting and comfortable. The room actually looked better than some suites I have stayed in in different towns. The rate was very affordable in comparison to the other towns that I have stayed with best western and the cleaner room was even more updated than them as well. Thank you to the front desk for their great hospitality.

"Fantastic stay with the best value along I5"

Traveling from Oregon to central calif we decided to stop and spend the night and be more relaxed, after calling hotels in various locations along the Interstate 5 corridor, we decided on staying in Williams, CA at the Sure Stay Best Western in Williams. It was a fantastic two Queen Bed room, that was clean and everything looked new. And the rate was average of sixty dollars less then the other places we called. Highly reccommend this place and it will be our new regular place to stay on this route.

"You probably don't want to stay here."

The room was clean. Maintenance was reasonable. Service was fine considering COVID restrictions. The Wifi worked. But the property is inadequate. I wish I had read the reviews before I booked the room. Spend a few dollar more and stay anyplace else. It's not worth the price. My single queen room had no closet, no dresser, no desk and not enough space to have an open suitcase except on the bed. A chair but no table. A noisy HVAC unit inches from the bed, will keep you awake all night. Three small tables in the common area is where you will eat and work, as this room was simply too tiny.
