Asked for a quiet room and it was (305) Very comfortable king bed. Easy access and close to some walking and cycling paths along the Alouette River. For golfers there are several courses to choose from. The flat wooden cutlery at breakfast had us missing the included breakfast the second morning. Eggs, sausage and pancakes need improvement and were awkward to eat with the wood cutlery.
We had no idea where we were going in Vancouver when we got there, but found a reasonably priced Best Western in Pitt Meadows, which turned out to be a great location - and not hard to find or get around. Reina greeted us as we checked in, and we were thrilled with the quiet room, comfortable bed, pet friendly atmosphere and areas around for dogs to do their business. Easy in and out! Super quiet room, and loved the windows that opened at the top and when you closed them, made the room sound proof. We stayed 2 nights, but could have stayed more. Only thing we didn't like was the traffic along the main highway. Thank you to the fabulous housekeeping crew - met 2 lovely ladies! And to the front desk staff.
We stayed at this location pre and post leg surgery. The accessibility of the building, parking and room was excellent. The room was spacious and really nice. Clean, good breakfast. Fridge was nice to have as well as the Keurig in the room. If you are a bath person the tub is super deep.
The initial room assigned was not suitable but we were quickly moved to a room that was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is good value for money. This our third stay and each and every time we have been more than satisfied with our experience.
Just a quaint little hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Close to sights and restaurants. The pool was clean. Customer service was excellent. Especially the housekeeping staff. No problem with parking. And quick bits nearby.
Quiet and comfortable beds, great room, relaxing View in the back of Mountains and sunrise were beautiful. Enjoyed the stay! Having a liquor store onsite was an asset and very convenient. Many places to eat within walking distance and plenty of parking spaces.
We were out during the days so not sure about any facilities but the room was spacious with comfortable beds. Main reason for 5 start rating is the service we got during breakfast. Mena Ahmadi and Karamjit Dhaliwal were both amazing, both went the extra mile.
The rooms and hall wasys had a terrible smell. We have stayed in quite a few Best westerns they are all mostly over priced but for the terrible experience and the extremely high price we payed never again. We had an medical appointment and there was not a lot of hotels to stay at but if we had to do it again we would not stay here
Awesome hotel, pool, room and people. Very clean room with all amenities in perfect condition. Pool was very large, clean and warm with plenty of space on pool deck to relax. Service staff were very helpful and provided amazing support from the moment we arrived. The hotel also has a guest laundry room where you can do you laundry for $1.50 a wash & $1.00 dry....Very convenient for RV traveler who needed a day off the road and to have great convenience and comfort. By the way, the hotel has ample parking for RV's at the back of hotel.
Hotel was clean and quiet. Free breakfast was convenient but basic. Great location for us - 15 minutes to family, 15 minutes to hiking and canoeing and fresh grown fruits were only 5 minutes up the road.
Travelled with lacrosse team, staff were rude and disrespectful to the kids and parents. Do not stay here if you talk, laugh or want to have a good time.
Great place to stay with fabulous staff, super clean rooms, good location and great amenities... just paying the same price as a downtown hotel.
The hotel has been nicely renovated, modern, quiet, clean with great staff. Excellent value for money. The breakfast options were excellent. Different hot choices each day from bacon to two different kinds of sausages. Little omelets one day, scrambled another, the pancake maker is great.Lots of fruits, muffins and yogurt to pick from. Different breads and Enflish muffins.
Excellent value, location, property and staff. I stay here any time I visit the lower mainland for business and sometimes personal trips. Regardless of where my business is down there, it's worth the drive to and from to this hotel get a nice quiet stay in lovely rooms. I've stayed there for work trips for many years now, and the front desk staff are exemplary, and the housekeeping is amazing.
Our King Suite had an extremely comfortable bed, and our son reports that the pullout is the most comfortable pullout he's ever had to sleep on in his 16 years of travelling the world with us.
We had the best experience at this hotel! The front desk staff were so friendly and so helpful, the 2 queen beds room was very spacious and extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. And then there was the free breakfast….scrambled eggs, sausages and hash browns - wow (not to mention all the other options). I hope we have a reason to stay ther again!
Stayed one night during weekend. Very helpful front desk staff gave us free upgrade. Every time I stay at this hotel, I am completed satisfied. Breakfast was good though the choices were a bit limited.
Staff were friendly and helpful, but the stay was uncomfortable and very low quality for the amount we paid, which was about $600 for three nights. Worst pull out sofa I have ever slept on, requiring a chiropractic appointment after. Would either expect a warning about that, or better quality mattress if you're going to bother advertising it as "sleeping four". The sofa was stained and smelled terrible, cleanliness was ok except a few spots of the bathroom. Linens good, but the hot tub was very smelly to the point our noses and eyes were burning, and full of foam (ie: dirty!!). Also the breakfast was awful. The only egg option was mini omlettes that we were told were vegetarian but were FULL of ham, which the staff denied despite me physically showing them the meat and pulling it apart with my fingers (just so they knew not to tell anyone else they were meat free), but they could not have cared less. Also the worst gas station coffee ever. We just ate breakfast elsewhere, which is fine, but the advertising here feels very misleading. Be honest about the food and don't include it in the cost of the room, and don't pretend this room sleeps four when it's one double bed and one horrible pullout that doesn't even comfortably sleep one. Just felt very low quality, like they were trying to include things to seem like you're getting some sort of great deal when really they're just adding in the cheapest things they can to inflate the price.
Big, clean rooms. Great location. Great value. When we visit our grandchildren in Vancouver we like to stay at this hotel. The grandkids like to go in the pool and hot tub. We have a great time. They have a complimentary hot breakfast including fruit and cereal. I like eggs runny so I find the eggs a little overdone but still satisfying.
I was happy to be in a newer room that accommodated my family of 5. 2 Queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was spacious enough for all of us, with 2 televisions that made entertainment a breeze on either side of the room. Breakfast was very good. There were enough options for hot and cold beverages, and sweet or savoury food items. The staff were all attentive and respectful. Shout out to the breakfast attendant. Very helpful with everything.
staff was friendly and helpful m recomended a cute pub for lunch close by , ordered cab for us breakfast was great and lots of choices. bed was comfortable, turned up the heat for us and let us check in early
Had to stay one night due to an early morning hospital appointment. I had my little dog on leash who was approached by a growing off leash dog enforcement on off leash dogs inside needs to be ENFORCED... not just told to guest then turn back on them.... anyways Staff at check in were awesome, room was very clean, Sad that there is no restaurant on site for meals if needed, But I get it and they are trying, Snack items to purchase a bit expensive... but then HEY its all about profit lol lol Breakfast really not the greatest for hubby ( I couldn't eat due to morning tests ) But ALL in ALL I would recommend this Hotel especially if one lives 2 hours away and needs to be at Ridge meadows Hospital... its only 5/6 minutes away! Would have Loved to check out the pool and hot tub area... maybe next time!!!!
What a delight to find this place close to Maple Ridge. My room was immaculate and I wish i could have stayed a few extra nights juts to enjoy it. There was safe and ample parking, close to transportation and felt like a relaxing get away
When called to check in late, make sure you get the type of room you booked for. I booked online a 2 queen beds but was given a single bed in a handicap room. The front desk told me that I booked that room and even told me that the hotel got the right to change it and might not get the room requested or booked on line. Disappointed!!!
House keeping at this location went into my room and moved around a bunch of my stuff while I was out and I had the sign on my room displaying "privacy please" I talked to front desk as soon as I got back the person I talked to was extremely nice and understanding, even went as far to tell me he would be giving me a 50% discount, upon check out a man named randon was at front desk, extremely rude from the getgo I asked to make sure the discount was added, he told me he could not look at my reservations information nor the price total to show me, told me it's out of his control if it's added or not and said he'll leave it until someone else is in and theyll call me before putting it through in my card, never got a call, only an emailed statement showing he only took $40 off my $720 stay.
With navigational aid to guide you in and back to highway 1 this property offers a very convenient location. Being on the Lougheed Hwy offers a very direct route to the PNE grounds and downtown Vancouver
The place was nice. Front desk and breakfast staff were super polite and welcoming. The place overall was very clean except the curtains need a wash. I would recommend it to folks travelling with families too.
The best Best Western Plus I have stayed so far!!! The kids enjoyed the outdoor heated pool!!! Staff were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. I wish they will add more pancake maker. Lol.. Would definitely go back.
Excellent customer service I forgot my medication in the room the manager went out of her way to arrange sending it to me, so much appreciated the staff was very friendly, front desk staff very friendly, nice clean hotel. Enjoyed morning hot breakfast. Pet friendly as well
From check in to check out everything was great. Rooms were clean and everything worked as it should. Didnt have opportunity to use pool or fitness areas due to lack of time but they appeared to be well used by others staying there.
Over all a very clean hotel, affordable, breakfast was great with so many options and the amenities were a great perk.We loved the coffee machine in the lobby which had great options. The pool was very clean and our daughter loved it. We will stay here again.
Great hotel with sunny outdoor pool - large comfortable rooms & beds, easy location within walking distance to restaurants - lobby area is great with TV, computers, snacks to purchase, breakfast selection was good and for those that drink alcohol a cold beer & wine store beside the hotel
We stayed for three nights over the holidays while visiting in the area. You can't beat this hotel for reasonable price and cleanliness. The beds are comfortable. We have stayed there before and will do so again. The breakfast was adequate but not spectacular.
I have stayed at many BW hotels over the years, including other BW+ properties. This one was the worst, and below 3-stars due to the service side. The rooms were clean and comfortable to typical BW+ standards. The tub was not cleaned thoroughly in our room, with a minor amount of hair still around the tub upon arrival. The first real problem was at check-in: they could not honor our reservation of a king room. We did not get any calls or messages in advance. 10:30pm checking in and we were stuck taking whatever downgrade they had to offer. No discount, (gasp) free night, no offer of additional points, etc. I just had to be grateful they had a room at all, I suppose. The property advertsises, online and on a sign out front, "Full Hot Breakfast." The breakfast was neither full nor hot. Three bar fridges, one with dairy, one with cold boiled eggs and apples, the third with pre-made egg sandwiches. A pastry rack which had decent muffins and danishes. A microwave to heat/reheat in order to get something 'hot.' I would expect this from a Super8 or motel, maybe even a 2-star BW, but not a BW+.
This hotel was clean with lots of parking and an electric car charging station. Many breakfast options, WiFi and a pool (I think also fitness centre and hot tub, though I didn't have the opportunity to use them). Also, pets are allowed!
Stayed for the first time, will be back room was clean and very quite, access was actually easier than anticipated. Amenities are great. Cant wait to see ne breakfast room. As a business traveler one hopes all stays are clean and quite, this hotel, keeps that promise. I found a new second home as I travel to this area frequently
This was a nice clean motel with good service. The only drawback was that the breakfast room was being remodeled so there was very limited hot food. The room rate was fair for the area. We were vacationing in Vancouver so it was quite a drive about an hour each way from Pitt Meadows to downtown Vancouver. We would stay here again
I stayed at the Best Western Pitt Meadows for 5 weeks and 3 days. My north-facing room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The staff is helpful, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend this Inn for short or long visits.
The two ladies who checked us in were very hospitable! The man who checked us out had to call us back in to run a credit card when i was standing right in front of him ten minutes beforehand. It might be because i am native and his false warmth quickly faded. the card payment was fine but his mistrust cost him a higher rating!
We always stay here while visiting friends and family in the lower mainland. It is always clean, comfortable, and the staff is always smiling and helpful. I can never figure how to add more to my review to hit the 200 minimum.
Great staff and hotel. Been staying here on business for 2 years. Everyone is accommodating, great rooms with comfortable beds and an outdoor pool. Close to all amenities, cinema and nice local craft beer pibe in the area.
We enjoy this location when coming to visit family. It is close to many surrounding areas and is clean and we have never had any issues with staff or cleanliness. We enjoy the pool and hot tub areas as well. Thanks BWP!
When told we were staying at a Best Western I cringed, however this one is very good. Clean, very nice bed, staff very friendly, pool clean and well maintained, hot tub the same, TV good. No complaints. Some were muttering about the breakfast offered but it was quite good, considering they were renovating the kitchen and dining area. A good choice of "take away" items, good coffee. Rates were reasonable.
Updated rooms, great beds, and we thought being near abusy road would be noisy, it was pretty quiet, we put the fan on constant and that totally drowned out any noise. Good breakfast and gym was good, though we didn't end up using it. Near amenities and transit too.
After picking up our new car in the afternoon, we drove to this motel where we had reservations. Check-in went smoothly and we were directed to our first-floor room. The room was clean and tidy with two Queen beds. Our two small dogs settled in after we gave them their evening meal. Unfortunately, this establishment did not have a restaurant and due to the heavy rain, my sister and I used the vending machine to buy some soup. Our room had a microwave so we were able to heat it. As we all had a long day because our journey began in the Okanagan, we decided to have an early night. The next morning, we had the complimentary breakfast that Best Western always offers. After packing up, we paid our bill and drove home. We were glad the rain stopped, making the return journey a pleasant one.
Honestly, there is very little wrong with this hotel. The hotel including our room was very clean and comfortable. Nice room and bathroom and shower were great. Friendly & helpful front desk staff. Would definitely return to this hotel!
There are very few options when it comes to accommodation in the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadow area and, from what I have been told, BW+ is likely the best. The good news: It's easy to find and not far from the Pitt Meadows Dyke Trail system. The attached liquor store is convenient. The suite consists of a small but comfortable sitting room with sofa bed and a small but comfortable bedroom, with a large screen TV in each. The bad news: While the attached restaurant was a drawing card for us, it is currently under construction; we heard it is being converted into additional rooms. While we also knew the breakfast room was under construction, we understood that a choice of hot breakfast items was available to take back to our room. What that turned out to be was packaged oatmeal and packaged egg mcmuffin like one might find in a service station convenience store. They weren't good at all so we went out for breakfast on two of our 3-day stays. Our room didn't get cleaned the first day, even with the sign on the door.
From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome and a great smile! Natalie has a wonderful customer service and so willing to serve in any way she can. Our king suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Towels were lovely, lots of hot water and the bed super comfy.
I was there for business. Arrived really tired. Check-in was friendly and fast. My room was really nice, clean and most of all comfortable. It was nice and quite. The bed was extremely comfortable. Nice breakfast choices.
The Best Western in Pitt Meadows is located very conveniently by the Highway. The Mall is very close by. The staff is very polite, helpful and caring. It was quite, the room was clean, all the amenities promised were there and in good working condition.
Its okay better than the one down the road Front clerk not the friendliest Ask for a rag to clean/ wipe up after drinks and ordered in dinners instead of using hotel face cloths, he looked at me like deer in headlights Told me to use the Kleenex in the room So not environmentally friendly Dusty room Shy on shampoos and lotions, we only receive 1 small 1oz bottle of each for 2 people Walls are dirty so was microwave.
Very nice hotel. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was 'grab & go' due to Covid, but lots of variety to choose. Easy access off highway but very quiet rooms. Great rates and we will be back again!
I had trouble finding a hotel in the community I was visiting, but Best Western Plus Pitt Meadows was an easy drive away. It was a little difficult to find initially, following Google Maps, but it was very convenient once we figured out an easier way to access the highway. A small mall with grocery store and restaurants was right across the highway intersection - within easy walking distance. There is a movie theatre near by as well.
They blame the bad water on bad piping and bad re-circulation. The manager was a friendly as an anti-social neighbor. She did not care much about the issue. She avoided me to talk about the issue. I had to hunt her down to discuss and even then, she did not much care about my experience.
Great hotel. They accommodated our dog and made us feel welcome. Breakfast a little reduced because of covid but satisfactory. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice touch. There is plenty of onsite parking
We were in this area to help a family member move, and this lovely hotel was a nice, clean, quiet place at the end of long days. Even though the hotel was sold out, it was really quiet and I slept better than I had in a long time! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here the next time we are here.
Wonderful property that is a gem on Route 7. Pool is great. I've been a regular for years. Won't stay any where else. I have some favorite rooms I won't divulge because everyone will reserve them! Parking is excellent as is the very close intersection that is safe and makes going east or west on a breeze. Always immaculately clean rooms. Housekeeping here is the best in the business. Great sushi restaurants in Pitt Meadows!
The noise from the hallway and elevator could be heard all night long. Room did not have enough AC to cover the bedroom and living room area. Room was dusty and caused us all to have an allergic reaction. Oh and the luxury pool was dirty and the kids wouldn't go it!
We had a pleasant stay at the Best Western. Beds were very comfortable; nice sheets and pillows. Had a great sleep. The breakfast was packed nicely for guests due to covid. Overall great value for money.
Stayed with our three kids and dog for one night while moving. The staff was friendly, hotel was clean, pool was heated (kids had a blast), breakfast bags to go were a hit and made the morning really easy. We would definitely stay here again!
Good Quick friendly service at check in and departure Rooms clean especially during covid. Glad to see some guests in the hotel. Makes it challenging during these times. Everything clean and properly sanitzed
Great place to stay, a bit further from the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver. It is a bit of a drive from the main tourist spots, but I prefer the quiet. Speaking of which, it was very quiet! Once in a while somebody talking would walk down the hall, but no stomping or any noises from either room beside me. Staff were excellent as well, very friendly and helpful. All Covid-19 guidelines were followed by staff as far as I could tell. The room was very spacious, with a decent bathroom. Showerhead had about 7-10 settings, which was nice. And most importantly, I forgot how comfy these beds were!! I can't recall if all Best Western hotels use the same blankets, pillows and sheets, but seriously one of the best sleeps I've had at a hotel in ages. The worst thing about some hotels is how hot you can get with their blankets, but these seemed to be temperature-regulated, so had an excellent sleep every night there. Would 100% stay here again. Side note, there is a restaurant/pub/lounge thing and a liquor store connected, but due to Covid, they were closed. But added little bonus for hotel guests when/if the world gets back to normal.
Every thing was great and the employees are super friendly and very helpful. It is a very quiet hotel. All staff members were extremely friendly towards my dog and I had no problem paying the 15$ a day to Have my dog. So much better then the $50 a day the other hotel in town wanted
The room was clean, had new looking furniture, was quiet, and comfortable. Everyone wore masks, the hot tub was perfect, and we had the opportunity to ride out from the hotel on our bikes into the countryside. The breakfast had a variety of fresh muffins, fresh fruit, and a bacon egger. What more could a person ask for?
I have stayed here three times in the past week and every time I come I'm always greeted with smiling faces. The new covid-19 rules make it harder to see their smiles but I can still see it in their eyes and hear it in their voice. They always try to accommodate me as I have a fear of elevators so they tried to put me on the first floor when possible. It is not often that I have to climb stairs. I like this place because it is close to other spots of Interest. Grocery stores fast food places even a Veterinary Clinic right next door in case one is needed. This place does accommodate pets. I look forward to staying here every time I am in Pitt Meadows.
We have been coming to this property for the last few years and has always enjoyed the clean rooms and amenities. Staffs are always helpful and friendly! Pet friendly premises! As a staycation venue, this location offers you the convenience of visiting close-by shopping malls, or nature parks!
As a transport driver our company purchase up in hotels at our destination. While in BC our regular please just stay is Best Western in Pitt Meadows. I like this place because it has nice rooms and is close to grocery stores and restaurants in case I need to stock up. They're always greeted with a friendly smiling face at the front desk. I've never had any problems with my room and the beds are quite comfortable. The Wi-Fi service allows me to browse the internet without using up my personal data. I like to say have laundry facilities that I can use when needed. There is a pool and an exercise area but I have not used them as I don't swim or exercise. Haha maybe I should start. All In all I feel very welcome here.
We stayed here last night and enjoyed a very clean, quiet room. The front desk staff are always very pleasant and accommodating. We felt safe and comfortable staying here during COVID. The beds are always comfortable. We have stayed at this location many times and the service and quality is always the same - Excellent!
Rooms are always clean and inviting. Staff are amazing and helpful. Best place in the area to stay for a reasonable price. The pool and fitness facility are exactly what we need and i recommend this property highly.
Exceptionally clean, quiet property in a great location near restaurants and malls. I was surprised at the quality of bed linens and bath towels -- luxe! Stayed in a suite for a fantastic price. I noticed walking trails across the road nearby for some outdoor exercise.
Very happy with choosing to stay here for 4 nights One of the more comfortable beds I've slept on in a hotel. Excellent continental breakfast everyday. Lots to choose from ; fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastry, pancakes, and either bacon or sausage. Good coffee, and friendly staff. A lady by the name of Monique who was working breakfast is so nice and accommodating.
We came to stay closer to our next day's destination due to forecast of snow in the morning commute. We were glad we did, and this Best Western location didn't disappoint. Everything from the room, staff, and breakfast was excellent.
I have mostly positive things to say about this hotel. We had a small problem during check-in, due I think, to our requirements not being communicated from when we booked the room. We were told we should have specified our needs (pet-friendly, away from elevator) when we booked. After we assured that we had made those requests when booking the room a month previous we were accommodated, with an upgrade no less! We were quite happy with the suite we were given, and the hotel in general was well maintained. One desk clerk later Christmas Eve (Natalie?) was extremely helpful. Our only complaint was the complimentary breakfast, which was pretty sub-par. All in all an enjoyable stay.
Travel over Christmas can be an arduous experience but what a pleasant and wonderful surprise our stay at the Pitt Meadows Best Western Plus turned out to be. The staff were so attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome and they were very proactive in every respect. Thank you all.
I will take the extra few minutes drive to go to this hotel over so many of the other choices within an hours drive. Clean and comfortable, friendly and relaxed, one of my favorites for sure. The breakfast is good and there is a good Thai place across the road with some of the best coconut shrimp so that's a bonus!
Always a great experience at Best Western Pitt Meadows. Comfortable and clean. Friendly competent staff. Good value for the room. Just wish the windows had black out curtains for those days when you want to sleep late.
We arrived in the middle of the night and the night Clerk was very prompt to get us to a room. After driving through the mountains a rest was well needed. I love the rooms at the Best Western in Pitt Meadows as they are set up like mini apartments. At least mine was. So it felt more like home. There was a complimentary breakfast to go with the room which we took advantage of. It was very good. there was plenty of room to park and with driving a transport that is not always easy to find a place to park the tractor. The yard was clean and well-maintained. Showed pride of management. I have always enjoyed staying here.
We have choice among a variety of middle range hotels in the part of the lower mainland where we have occasional weekend plans, but we choose This Best Western in Pitt Meadows. The service is accommodating and friendly. The breakfast is nice. The rooms, even the dog friendly rooms, are attractive, well appointed and clean. We have never encountered surprise extra expenses; the prices are always competitive and appropriate. The sauna is a nice touch too. In fact dollar for dollar this motel always seems to offer a little bit more than the others.
We highly recommend this hotel. It was very clean, friendly, everyone was most helpful. They provided a wonderful selection for breakfast, vegetarian selections, fresh fruit, muffins, juice, on and on. Also great coffee! The staff provided an easy check in and check out. Close to most everything in Maple Ridge. On the highway , easy access but quiet . It couldn't have been nicer :)
We booked the Pitt Meadows hotel as a group booking and found the rates reasonable, breakfast handy and service good. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. It is on a major highway so there is road noise at night. We booked suites and found the rooms quite dark and the pullout extremely uncomfortable. I think the two queen room is more functional. We would book here again.
We stayed for a total of 4 days & were welcomed with friendly very helpful, courteous staff. Our room was very clean, quiet & had all the needed amenities. We enjoyed having our breakfast in the newly finished eating area/buffet/kitchen before heading out for the day with family. Any questions or concerns were heard & quickly attended to. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
My title says it all. I got yelled at by a homeless man sitting by the door, as I went to check in. Obviously it happens a lot as it didn't surprise the front desk and she wasn't apologetic about it. She just went and told him to leave. Also the walls on either side of the sink had dozens of toothpaste splatters. (I enjoyed the handicapped room, where the bathroom floor started to flood as I got in the shower.) They fixed the drain that day but never cleaned the splatters all week. I even left a neon green note saying please wipe me. It sat there four days, and probably will forever.
Close to everything. Out door heated pool. Great breakfast and a very nice staff. Reason I gave it a 4 is because the walls are paper thin. Otherwise a very nice place. We will stay there again. Hopefully to golf.
This Best Western Hotel offers a tasty, full, hot, daily breakfast. It is across the highway from several restaurants & a pharmacy / supermarket and near Sturgeon fishing outfits in the Fraser River!!
Great location for me, but room was not very clean. There were old food bits under the sofa that I discovered when they stuck to my socks! The room looked clean, but if you move anything, there was dirt or dust underneath most things, like the coffee maker etc.
Needed a hotel somewhat close to Vancouver and didn't cost as much as staying in town. This Best Western plus it's really nice. Very clean, and fairly new. The room smelled so good from the bath products they provided. Nice pool. Beds and pillows are good quality. Property very clean and cared for.
Stayed here for just one night. Nice hotel but we found it expensive for where it was located. There was a mix up with our room, and we ended up with a room instead of suite we had requested. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds.
Good Best Western hotel. Clean quiet rooms. Standard quick breakfast in the morning. Easy access off Lougheed Highway and close to shopping malls and restaurants. Would stay again when back in area. The evening desk clerk was very helpful in providing recommendations for dinner.
This hotel was extremely accommodating in providing an early check in to dress for a wedding and a near by Golf and Country Club. Lots of selection for a lovely breakfast the next day! Staff at front desk helpful in providing directions.
The location was convenient to where I needed to be for work in PoCo. The hotel was clean and modern and the staff was friendly. The outdoor pool was nice. The breakfast in the morning is better than most continental breakfasts I have experienced.
Stayed here with our girls for sports and it was awesome! Decent variety at breakfast meant they weren't complaining after a week, and had a good start every day. Hotel put the team together which was awesome for watching over them. Nice pool and hot tub. Rooms on the back side had a beautiful mountain view. Close proximity to grocery store was great as we were staying for a week. The staff were super friendly and helpful!
On arrival we were met by some of the cheesiest staff and most helpful with our usual tourist type questions .There is an excellent bar next door where the hospitality is fantastic. We recommend this place to anyone.
Parents of kids sports teams in town for a tournament were partying in the hallway and banging doors until 12:00am. Had to call the desk to complain, as had other guests. After 30 mins they finally took it outside. Total lack of respect for other guests and a great example for the kids.
Stayed here with my daughter for May Madness Softball Tournament. Location was ok, outdoor heated pool was a big hit with the kids. Also the pub and cold beer and wine store were nice touch. Room smelled like a combination of salt n vinegar chips and raunch body odour. There was no hot water in our room and they would only give us a $25 credit for this. Wifi is basically non-existent, which is shameful in this day and age. Larger size mini fridge and microwave were good. Would only stay here again if I got an extremely cheap rate and hot water was guaranteed. Not a huge fan of ice cold showers.
We stayed overnight at the Best Western. Staff is very nice. We had a suite room. There was a nice size bathroom, sitting room, and well appointed bedroom room. The room had two TVs, two refrigerators and microwaves. Our sleep was peaceful on a comfortble bed. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning. There is a heated outdoor pool. Parking is free.
Our go-to hotel when working in the area. Rooms are clean and big. Samz (bar) is right next door and their food is pretty good (for bar food). Beds are comfortable. Friendly staff. Overall a great place to stay.
I stayed at the BW with my daughter who was participating in a dance competition in Maple Ridge. There were a large number of families staying at the hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet and had everything we needed. We would happily stay there again if we need a hotel in Maple Ridge area.
My room was spotless, amenities were great and easy to access, breakfast was wonderful. While lost I had an address of the venue I was there to attend and the Front Desk person immediately offered to call me a cab, I was treated extremely well and am Very impressed!
It was a very nice hotel, good location, clean nice room. Other guests were rude and ended up waking our baby, but that's not the hotels fault. We were very impressed with the price and the room quality. The staff were super nice. We wished we could've used the pool, it looked so awesome. Gave a 4 star for rooms only because of the squeaky bathroom door that actually woke our baby up it was that loud.
First time at a best western, won't be the last. Room was clean, internet was fast and the property was immaculate. Complimentary breakfast was a surprise to me, it was good, huge selection. Not disappointed at all I just wish I had more time to use all of the amenities.
We stayed here as a group booking 10 rooms for our hockey team. No issues. Rooms were clean, free breakfast was good, liquor store attached is nice. Theres also a restaurant/bar but no kiddos allowed. The food we ate there was fine. Location is good as every imaginable restaraunt and store is available on Lougheed Hwy.
We stayed in a jr. suite, room 119. Very quiet and spacious. Price was reasonable. We were told the hotel was full yet is was very quiet. Every time we've stayed here we notice the quietness. The breakfast is verygood. Great selection of food.
This is a great hotel. Everything is very clean and the rooms are nicely appointed and furnished. Modern, spacious and very comfortable. The team members are very pleasant and engaging. Everyone seems happy to be working there and care about their guests. It's nice to feel so welcomed. This hotel provides 5 star service.
I love this hotel. Location is perfect. Right on the highway, a km from Golden Ears bridge for access to Surrey to get to my head office, and an easy drive to downtown Vancouver. I used to stay downtown but the rates there are ridiculous and the parking is almost extortion. But here at the Best Western Pitt Meadows parking is free and spacious and the rates are affordable year round. The pool is excellent in the summer. The fitness center has what I need. The free breakfast is always good. Coffee is excellent! And I love the small store with snacks and amenities in the lobby with hot coffee right by the front desk. You can buy whatever you might have forgotten when you packed, and always food and drink. This store is a real life saver if you come in late and hungry. Way better than vending machines and better selection. The beds are excellent, the air conditioners always work and the rooms are ultra clean. The housekeeping here is amazing. The front desk staff are one of the reasons I come here on top of all the stuff I said above. They are like family to me now. Pub next door has great food and I highly recommend the steak salad with the house honey lime dressing. Started coming here for business 3 years ago when it was a Ramada, and just came home from being there for 5 nights and will be seeing them all year. Thanks for a great home away from home!
The room was really nice, quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this place to friends and family. The breakfast had a decent selection and the staff were kind and helpful. I would stay here again. The only thing I missed out on using was the pool .I will do that next time.
Nice to see hotel cleaning up and upgrading slowly. Very clean this trip. Front desk staff almost all so delightful. Great little breakfast brunch available from 630 to 10am. Good amenities available and there is a great little pub called Sam's and a liquor store attached as well.
I was at the hotel only one night on business. Would have enjoyed another night or two -- it is such a beautiful property and the room etc. was top notch. Very comfy and very quiet as I had a room that faced the back of the property. All staff that I met were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast provided had everything I needed, and more. And a great price for the Vancouver area. Would highly recommend.
We live in Pitt Meadows and we're having bathroom renovations done so we checked into the Best Western Plus for 2 nights. The place seems newly remodeled and we were very happy with our room. We needed an accessible room as I need to be able to sit while in the shower. the bathroom was huge and the shower worked very nicely. It was a walk in shower with a nice chair in it and a hand held sprayer. We would definitely recommend this place.
Nice clean place, quiet, Breakfast included. Lots of parking around the building. Nice spacious bathroom. Just lots of light in the bathroom with no choice of having less light on at night. Safe in bedroom, TV, fridge and microwave (not that we need the last), coffee maker.
So just got back from the weekend staying here 2 nights with my wife and 2 grown kids. We got 2 rooms and I must say I was very happy with the service and the rooms. The rooms were clean and looked like they were newly renovated. The breakfast was good and there were a lot of options, and they changed the choices up both mornings we were there. The bed was comfortable and surprisingly quiet at night. There were really only 2 cons that I can think of 1 the shower head is a bit to low for tall people, 2 there was no indoor swimming pool. Thanks for a great stay best western
I stayed in this hotel for a business trip and found the conditions to be quite gross. The furniture had fingernails left behind and the shower had gross hair left behind. Although I should have walked out at this point I opted to stay. I pointed out the issues to the front desk and told them the extra measures they needed to bring my room up to standard. Upon returning again it was the same deplorable conditions. I notified the front desk worker and he switched my room after some back and forth. This room wasn't up to standard either. The attendant said they were cleaned and it's not his job to ensure they were. I offered to show him but he refused to look. I told the hotel I was checking out immediately. Do yourself a service and find another place to book!
Staff at the front desk very welcoming and polite after check in room was clean in order with all the amenities two thumbs up. We had a jacuzzi every night before bed, morning time came and they had a bag with an apple ?? granola bar and bottle of water, my wife woke to a complimentary breakfast ????all round great stay.
The hotel is clean and nicely located. The stuff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is also ok with lots of choices. Close drive to most places including shopping and restaurants. The restaurant right next door to the hotel has good food and decent prices. There is even a liquor store next to the restaurant. I would definitely stay again.
I stayed here for two nights. As this hotel is being changed from a Ramada to a BW there are still a few things they are working on. Overall the stay was good. Front desk staff were nice. Rooms clean and the breakfast had a good selection.
Checked in here for one night before our stay in downtown. I asked if we could have a quiet room but we were put on the ground floor near the hotel swimming pool on the front. The room was pleasant and clean, it was also quite big for the two of us. The night wasn't that quiet, it's a busy road throughout the night so didn't sleep all the way through but not the worst night's sleep I've had. Breakfast here is a hot complimentary one from 6.30am-10. The hot items are toast, sausages and scrambled egg. There were a range of cold items too such as: yoghurts, muffins and some pastries. The food was average. A good range of hot drinks here, a lot of flavoured teas and coffees. We were checked in by a gentleman who was on the phone as well as sorting to our needs and on checkout, we weren't asked anything about our stay- ours keys were taken and we were thanked. We would stay again price depending but would ask for a room away from the road on the floor above
Terrible couple of nights stay in June. People smoking weed by the entrance door. Afternoon front desk man said legally they can do it and wouldn't do anything about it. There was a bridal party next door, very loud at 3 a.m. still. Called the front desk, nothing really happened. In the morning the front desk staff said that 5 people called about the noise. That was the end of the conversation. The only positive was the breakfast and since it rained the whole stay we were there we got to use the hotel's laundry. Would not stay here again!
