Reservations were very easy to make. Great professional and friendly staff. Very clean rooms and facility. Excellent experience.overall. Will definately stay at your facility again. Would recommend this Best Western Plus to anyone traveling in the St. Cloud, MN area.

Great location downtown for events at the convention center and downtown. Service was great at the front desk, super helpful, and loved that you could walk to lots of restaurants and bars. Room was clean and nice size, view facing the River was great.

Good location quality room nice to have a restaurant lounge on site and the front desk help was amazing the lady that worked on me in my room and everything that an awesome job I wish I could remember her name

Check in was a breeze with Hannah. She was so polite & fun. We were upgraded to the executive suite on the 4th floor overlooking the mighty Mississippi River. A stunning view especially at sunset. The suite is very clean, even the corners in the bathroom are clean. It always bothers me to see dirty corners & slobbers on the wall. So thank you to housekeeping for a job well done. I would most definitely stay here again.

Clean Spacious Room. Friendly Helpful Staff. Great Pool and Excellent exercise room. Service and animal equipt with a easy access pet area. Perfect Downtow location for walking adventures. One Stop Shop Quality!!

Every staff that was working no matter what position was amazing and very helpful. I was there staying because my husband was in the St. Cloud ICU and it really was a great place to go to at the end of my stressful day.

The room smelled like smoke and we suspect some form of mold/mildew. We arrived at the hotel without any problems. We walked into the room and smelled smoke even though room was non-smoking. We also didn't get any sleep that night due to allergies caused by the room. My 3 year old sons reaction was bad enough he couldn't stop crying all night. We almost packed up and left at 4 am because lack of sleep.

Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Hotel was nicely decorated and a great place to hold a gathering; e.g. birthday party or family reunion. Pool area was very large and clean. Only complaint is that they were out of towels in the pool area. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

My family and I were traveling from Esterhazy, SK to Shelby, NC and stopped in Saint Cloud, MN for the night. I used my points to pay for the room but was blown away by the size and cleanliness of the room. The staff and amenities were awesome as well. Pet friendly was huge for us because we had our 2 year old Husky with us. Would definitely utilize again if we are in the area.

Every staff person that was encountered had a smile and genuine interest in making sure that you were having a good stay. The room was clean, in good repair, and very quiet. There is not a single thing I could say would benefit from improvement!

This was just an overnight stay for us and we got in quite late. On check in we were told that our room had been upgraded and were handed a gift bag with snacks and coupons for free breakfast at the attached restaurant. A pleasant surprise. The room was clean and comfortable, and quiet. There was a boisterous wedding party coming in about the same time we were, but they must not have been anywhere near us or quieted down quickly, we never heard them. The breakfast was enough to get us going the next morning (the coffee was not very good, but that's minor). We may be heading back to the area in a month or so and will choose to stay here again. I did not get the name of the employee who checked us in, but she was really nice. (We didn't have time to use the pool, but the pool and pool area looks very inviting. Next time)

Pet friendly and very clean and well run. We always stay when in Saint Cloud we appreciate the staff and service is always top notch. All the amenities and parking are well lit and and safe. Will always stay here when in town.

Hotel was clean, check in was quick, and the pool area was really large and very clean! Room was a little small however sufficient for me and my dog. The restaurant had really good food and good service!!

Travel trip - if you don't want to have moisture issues in your room ask for a room in taller building away from indoor pool. Also bring your own pillow!!! I am giving a higher mark for service for the kind staff who helped us changes rooms after a horrible first night. They were very kind and completely understood why we needed a room away from pool area (my daughter is asthmatic).

Rooms are clean and comfy. The staff is courteous and friendly. The location by the river is picturesque and is near good restaurants serving various types of food. The hotel allows pets. The rooms themselves are quiet; could not detect any noise from other rooms.

The room was very clean, hot tub and pool was perfect temperature. The staff went up and beyond to make my stay comfortable and were knowledgeable of where i needed to go and best route. Conference room was clean, food was good. Beds and pillows were great as well. Slept easily and mattress was comfortable, linens were clean and soft - not scratchy like some places.

Loved the River view in the room. Staff was extremely friendly and parking was great. Pool is a little on the small side but kids loved it and it was even warm! Lol most hotel pools are freezing but not this one

very noisy by the pool rooms, short on towels by the pool so bring your own, bring own paper and pens to play games if you want, Just little things that can make or break a wonderful experience at this hotel.

The hotel is clean and quiet. The only criticism is that room service was absent. I didn't mind making my own bed, but my trash was never emptied in the 5 nights I was there. I loved my view of the river. It was nice to have such consistent wi-fi available. Parking is ample. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Comfy beds, restaurant/bar on premises, good location. Like most places, hotel cleaners are understaffed and overworked. I always tip cleaning staff, but I want to WANT to leave a big tip! Cleaners: pay attention! I know most people (losers) don't tip, but those of us that do, WANT to.

The room was comfortable but not exceptional. I was not very impressed by the fact that we had 4 adults staying in our room and yet we only got $8.00 to use in the restaurant for breakfast. There was not even a continental breakfast available. Not very good value for the amount of the rooms in my opinion. Also, the front desk clerk was not very clear about directions to our room so we ended up parking a very long ways from where our room was. In fact there was no elevator that was very close to where our room was at all. Lots of walking. So, for anyone who cannot walk, it would be a good idea to ask for a room near an elevator or an exit.

A really nice Best Western, actually one of the best I've ever been in. 8 stories right on the Mississippi River with friendly staff. Nice restaurant, Green Mill, on property with excellent food and great service. Rooms available with river views.

Good location, attached restaurant serves dinner until 10pm - very helpful and food was surprisingly good. Hotel is tired, overpriced, basic rooms that were clean. Nothing to write home about. The river walk was pretty

This hotel is a friendly place with a short walking distance to downtown shopping, a trail down by the river & good food! The pool area is nice too! But there are some downers, a super small bathroom & a terrible pullout couch. But overall, I would stay again.

This hotel was perfect! We had a baseball tournament and this helped keep us all together. Rooms were great size and hotel was clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool area was ideal for all the kids to relax and bond after a day of ball and they parents had plenty of room to unwind as well.

There is incorrect pool hours leading to not being able to use pool. Attached restaurant had poor service almost 4 hours for a meal. Dated rooms the prices paid was higher then I would pay for the services and amenities with no breakfast provided and bad service at the on-site restaurant.

Pleasant stay.,front desk people are very nice.,good value and good room. Nice view of the Mississippi River good location, amenities need work in my opinion. I can't think of anything else I would like to say.

We reserved rooms again for our annual reunion at the Kelly Inn. Everything was in great working condition and all ready for our large group gathering. Clear to see they were a little short on staff like so many places these days, but this didn't get in the way of good service. Quality people at check in and all along the way.

The hotel is huge and has all of the amenities to have you stay right there for your meal or just to relax at the pool. The restaurant food was very good with a good variety of dishes to pick from. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is next to the Mississippi River so you cannot go wrong with the view. We definitely would stay there again.

The staff here were so friendly and welcoming. The room I chose overlooked the river and it was wonderful. The linens didn't stink of being over bleached which I loved. My only downside was the fact that there were no usb plugs and when I had forgot my wall charger I had to call a friend to bring one. Even the older tv wasn't equipped with them.

Passed many cars off the road and heard of a multi-car pileup near our destination, so we detoured and rode out the blizzard here. Sam at the front desk is a rock star, and took great care of us. Thanks, Sam, for your outstanding customer service. We ate a 3pm lunch in the restaurant, after the lunch rush. So it wasn't completely unexpected that the seating area wasn't exactly spotless. But staff were fine and the UM-Duluth Bulldogs hockey team were on the TV, so that was good!

Best Western Plus Kelly Inn provides a clean and accommodating venue for my friend and I to meet 2-3 times a year. The staff is very kind! And the location makes taking walks very easy. We have established this place as our meeting place!

Rooms are incredibly small and dark. Very little room for two people plus your baggage. You literally had no room between the edge of the bed and the desk/dresser. No continental breakfast. Rooms should be updated.

Attending a training/conference at the BWKI in St. Cloud, MN. From the front desk staff to the food/waiter staff, everyone was extremely professional and did an incredible job. Meals and snacks served by the hotel were included in the training/conference tuition and the food was incredible, not to mention that it was on time for each meal every day which was critically important to keeping our training/conference on schedule. The lobby provided a warm feel upon arrival and the rooms were well kept and maintained and all of the included amenities were in working order. Will definitely stay at he BWKI in the future.

Highly recommend staying at the Best Western Plus in St Cloud MN. The hotel exceeded our expectations, the restaurant was very convenient, the location was perfect for walking to local entertainment venues, food, drinks, tap house, etc. The bed so incredibly comfortable (wish I had this bed at my house)

No complaints - pool was great, water warm and hot tub was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was not available due to Holiday but hotel provided a bag breakfast which was good.

I attended a convention at this property. The rooms were great, clean and well appointed. Loved the bed, could have stayed in it a lot longer. Very quiet. Easy parking an d having a Green Mill next was so to get something to eat!

Staff was prompt, helpful, and courteous. . The webpage described the hotel as pet friendly. I've never stayed at a hotel that was more so. Amazing staff and the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. No doubt a best western fan from now on.

So I am not sure if it was the great rate I got on this suite or BW is just run down? Checked in for a conference and headed to the suite I snagged on the website for the same cost as the conference room. Told to take elevator C. At the elevator you could only pick floor 1 or 2 and yet my room was 346? Pushes 2 to see what happened and up I went. Came out on 2 and saw a sign pointing down the hall for 346. After walking the full length of the hall carrying bags, you came to a door where you had to go up a flight of stairs to get to 346. Maybe a map or directions would have helped Room or suite was pretty big with a large couch and chair on one side and a king bed on the other. With so much room the bathroom was crazily small. Straight away the room was a little dated. But cleaning is a bug part of hotel rooms now and the large cobweb on the light and in-between the windows shows the attention to cleaning is poor. There was also a large sticky dried mess clearly visible on the window, not sure why that was never cleaned. Also the room was so big, if you sit in bed and watched TV the cheap remote did not change the channel very well. I'm getting a little picky buy its suppose to be suite. Lastly you could not use some of the outlets without having the lights on, again strange. Not sure what makes this a Best Western Plus? No breakfast although there is a Green Mill on site if you want to pay and get 10% off. See picture of dried something on window. Convenient for the convention center yes? But time to add some funds back in.

Hard to find room (it's a huge building, and it's like a MAZE), was super damp everywhere and smelled like a pool no matter where you went. The building was super old, my room was really run down. There was a crack in the wall. Not worth the $120. Worth like 90.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. You must park in the ramp below the hotel. No security cameras. Car was broke into and vandalized overnight. Front desk was not surprised about it. Could not find an open door or elevator in ramp, very dark, unlit. Do NOT stay at this hotel especially if you're traveling alone. Very suspect area by the river. Checked out early after car was vandalized and was still charged for second night after they canceled my room. Horrible all around.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the pool and Hot tub. The water in the pool was warm.. It even has a deep end which is six foot deep. Make sure that you wear your water shoes because the pool floor is slippery. The hot tub is very small but enjoyable.

I stayed for 2 days for a Realtor conference at the convention center. My room was clean (dusty but clean) it was smaller than expected. The walls were pretty thin. Customer service was great though. Great great staff!

First impressions are very important. Greet guests with a smile. Don't act like a robot. It may be routine to you but it is a first experience to your incoming guest. Computer room was excellent. Hotel located on Mississippi River but rooms do not take advantage of the possible view.

Very nice place to stay with lovely views of the river. We appreciated the area, the driving and walking distance to most attractions was extremely helpful. Very convenient as we were there for a conference.

We had a room Reserved for two nights for a hockey tournament. We had booked it along time ago and after thinking we are only an hour away we decided we would drive back-and-forth. We totally forgot we had booked the room and somebody called and asked us at 9 PM the date of our reservation if we still wanted it. My husband was apologetic and said we were driving back-and-forth and he said no big deal they would take care of it and not charge us. Other hotels we have stayed at wouldn't have done this and kept our fee for the night. Great customer service!

Was here for a conference and we have come here for many years. There didn't seem to be any climate control - air conditioning going in the open spaces and hallways. I guess I should have asked or complained but didn't bother. It was warm and dampish, and I did notice that even in wallpaper bubbling at corners - starting to show it's age. The staff was absolutely responsive and terrific, though, and that makes up for the other things to me. Housekeeping was spot on, the front desk staff was helpful, even in training a new staff person, the servers for our conference were efficient and attentive, and I just felt like I'm glad we come to this place and I'm glad these folks have survived no one going to hotels!

Our room wasn't "ready" when when we arrived at 4pm. Was told she'd call when it was ready. Went to attached restaurant to wait. 3 hrs later..still no call. I had to go back to the front desk to as what was happening. She acted like it was the first time seeing me. We accepted a downgraded room so we wouldn't have to wait longer. It was after 7pm when we finally got in a room. As a result we missed a family function. I can sympathize with a housekeeping shortage...what I can't sympathize with is the lack of concern for their customers. Apparently this was a common practice at this location all weekend. I'll twice about booking with Best Western again.

Couches are very old and dirty, no bedding on them either. Hotel ran out of towels! We were told before making reservation that the hotel had complimentary hot breakfast. We had 5 rooms and asked for an extra hour on checkout time and were told no, not even for 1 or 2 or two of the rooms. Just wasn't impressed.

This BW is next door to the convention center and has beautiful views of the river. Easy walk to downtown and plenty of food choices around. Nice decor and friendly staff. Parking is next door at the restaurant that also serves breakfast for a fee. Limited breakfast options at hotel currently.

The hotel has a nice location, and the hot tub was nice. The man at check-in was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean, but dated. The room was very small, and overall it could just use a face lift.

We spent the night there this week and I have to say this was the best hotel experience we' ve had in the St. Cloud area. The service was exceptional and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable and we didn't have to pay extra for our pet. We were there on business and they exceeded our expectations! Don't hesitate to stay here if you're traveling for business. Its downtown location is along the river and has a pretty view! Our room was quiet and i didn't have to worry about anything, check in and out was a breeze!

Very clean hotel, my hotel room was very clean, it had good coffee and tea with a full fridge and microwave. The Hotel had really good food. It was a Green Mill restaurant that is attached and nice conference rooms.

I cannot express how satisfied I am with this hotel. It was such a great hotel that my boyfriend and I will be making reservations often - I will never even think of going somewhere else. The restaurant / bar was also phenomenal. Highly recommend this hotel !!!

I've stayed here before; however never in the "older" portion of the hotel. The room was clearly a converted 2 room into 1; nice try but the TV was across the room; quite small. The noise from neighbors was quite loud (walls are thin); the lobby trash was overflowing and not emptied the entire stay. The check in/check out process was very efficient; staff were quite helpful and engaging.

This is a beautiful hotel with rooms that have a great view of the Mississippi River. Very welcoming employees, nice rooms a huge pool area and well equipped fitness center. Hotel staff was very accommodating regarding trailer parking. Would definitely stay here again.

We needed to make an unexpected stop in St. Cloud on a cross country road trip, and ended up choosing the Kelly Inn due to their fantastic pet policy and reasonable rates. The check-in was easy with friendly, efficient staff and the hotel itself was clean and welcoming. Our room overlooked the pool which we didn't really need (or want), but they had the whole area cleaned and closed with the lights off by about 10:15 - so very little impact on the evening! The beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed a great nights rest.

Beautiful room, clean and well decorated. Good service at the front desk. Easy access to convention center and eating facility. Good food and service . Would recommend to anybody going to St Cloud. Will stay there the next overnight in St Cloud.

This hotel is awesome! The beds are wonderful, the rooms are updated and clean. But that's nothing compared to the staff!!! The staff at this hotel make you feel at home...especially both Lyndsay's!!! They made a usually difficult check in easy peasy, quick and easy!!!

I was booked for Thursday but ended up booking late Wednesday for an extra night and when I got there Lindsey was friendly and very helpful and accommodating. She is truly the reason I will revisit this location on my next trip there.

Room extremely small and wasn't able to use free upgrade while I watched friends get larger rooms after I checked in. Finally was hung up on by front desk after notifying front desk of broken ice machine. Our room was overpriced for the tiny and out dated room we received

Bill was not correct and room smelled staff was rude should of been free 2 nights gifted and they charged up 200$ the room smelled like nast feet and the day staff was rude and the room was dirty they still haven't fixed the bill

This is not the most updated hotel around, but we were comfortable. The shower was strong, the towels were soft, and the bed was comfortable. That makes it adequate for me! The included breakfast was good in the Green Mill restaurant attached.

Probably could use a makeover, exterior of hotel, furniture in lobby worn, it's not terrible just noticeable, the room was nice and bed comfortable, had a view of the river which was nice, I ate at the Green Mill that's attached for dinner, the pizza was delicious, they don't have a complimentary breakfast which i'm used to, just an opportunity to spend more $$ at the Green Mill -10%, the staff was friendly, can't beat the location if your visiting the convention center, overall average

We had a reservation and stayed on a Wednesday night. It wasn't many people so they put us up on the sixth floor in an Executive Suite. It was more like an apartment with its size and amenities. The staff was great. We like Best Western and when coming through here we will stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting a friend. Our room was very nice and the beds were comfy. We had an amazing view of the Mississippi River out our picture window! The restaurant was seating on the patio and the food was very good. The General Manager, Mark Laughlin, gave us absolutely amazing customer service! He took my reservation and was so warm and kind and gave us the special rate I had found on Kayak. He makes every guest feel like family. If I could, I'd rate his service well beyond 5, but that's all you let me give. We'll be back when we visit our friend again!

We traveled during COVID-19 pandemic and were anticipating "issues" with lodging. We had no issues with our stay. The location is fairly central to other stores, etc. which is helpful. The staff was friendly. i found the price to also be reasonable. i would stay at a Best Western again, no problem.

This was our 3rd year staying at the Kelly Inn for a youth basketball tournament. Pyper, Steve, Lindsey F and Lindsay S always remain calm and professional despite the chaos of 100+ 10-15 year old kids running around all weekend. Even when one of the beds broke in our room, they were so accommodating to make sure the rest of our stay was enjoyable. My only negative part was that I didn't receive any type of discount after the bed was broken. But everything else with the hotel was excellent.

I know the mistake is my own, but I wouldn't have stayed here if I realized there was no breakfast. If breakfast is offered, staff made no mention of it at all. I am used to Best Western Plus providing this service to guests, but I will not make this mistake again.

As a guest with the hotel, you do receive a discount in the Green Mill for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Again, thank you for taking time to let us know about your stay.

The rooms are outdated but clean. Very nice location close to convention center and some downtown restaurants. Great view of the mississippi. Does need some soundproofing Pool water was warm and they had a nice play area.

When we walked in the room she had left some tulips and chocolates for us. She also left a special note. We felt so welcomed at the hotel. Best Western Plus has always been great to us. We were married at the one in Bloomington MN and we will continue to us them. Everything from the staff to the room was great. We will be returning again soon once the weather is warmer to explore more.

Lindsey S of Best Western Plus Kelly Inn went above and beyond when I had an issue with my reservation. When I made the initial reservation I thought I was using the Hotel Reservation number but instead I used a hotel booking agent by mistake. I use a The booking agent assigned me a room that I had to walk up a set of stairs.. I attend trade shows and usually have 4 to 5 suitcases with me. Dragging bags up steps is pretty impossible. When I called Lindsey S at the front desk of the hotel she was so helpful and moved me to a room with not steps for no additional charge. She also informed me that the company I used to make the reservation says it is the front desk but it is not. I was in town for two nights. After reading reviews, I requested a high/top floor, river view room. I called the hotel a couple of times regarding my room request. They told me to call day of arrival while on the way. Apparently, they don't assign rooms until they are checked out and cleaned. I did as directed and was told that I could be scheduled into a 5th floor river view room. I was all good. On arrival, I find that I am in a 6th floor city view room. I Was not happy. The excuses were vague. I asked to see a manager and, to their credit, the GM came out and spoke to me. Apologized and promised a room move and possible upgrade for night 2. The city view room was fine in every regard except it didn't have the river view I wanted. The room had a nice view of town and was very clean, comfortable and quiet. On day 2, they in fact move me to the river side and upgraded me to a suite — but on a low floor (2nd). The room was wonderful with lots of space and panoramic views of the river. I could not have asked for more. The second floor was not an issue. The river side of the hotel is quiet. Definitely, the side I would suggest. When the day is done, I think they treated me fairly. I'd stay at the hotel again if ever again in St. Cloud area. Location is ideal next to the civic center and a quick walk to stores, bars and restaurants. Great hotel choice.

We stay here twice a year for events and always enjoy it. Lots of restaurants near downtown. The rooms are clean and neat. The staff is extremely helpful and quick with check in and check out, even with a large group!

I was awoken at 12:30 am to find 2 police officers standing at the foot of my bed stating they have video footage from the hotel of me stealing a lap top. I did not steal anything! Apparently the security staff and front desk women sent them to my room as I am a blonde woman and the women who stold the lap top was blonde. After searching my room and my husbands truck and finding nothing they still inisited that i had it. I have never been treated so badly in my entire life. Stay away from this hotel! They have a theft problem and try to get innocent paying customers arrested if they have the same hair color as the person in there video committing a crime.

Our first stay at Kelly Inn we got put in a small cramped room with a TV remote that was having issues. This time we had plenty of room and no issues. We appreciated being able to check in early in the afternoon. Ordered pizza from Green Mill for supper and had extremely enjoyable dine in room experience.

Caitlin and Pyper were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed their festive holiday sweaters and patience with my two small children during check-in! My girls loved both the large and small pool. I stayed at Kelly Inn last weekend. I made a reservation directly with the hotel several weeks before and forgot about it. I called to verify and somehow got connected to GetARoom. Their agent lied to me, telling me I had no reservation, and booked a second noncancelable reservation at a much higher price. So, while I got screwed by GetARoom, a hotel employee - Lindsay Fredrickson, was a shining star trying to help make things right. She was SUPER to work with. Lindsay took a terrible situation and did what she could to make my stay pleasant. THANK YOU LINDSAY!!!

Rooms worked for what we needed. We didn't spend much time in them. Housekeeping looked like they were busy all the time. But were very friendly and professional. Meals were better then expected. Security for our banquet could have done a better job of being polite to the banquet attendants when they were leaving. I pray my staff isn't as rude as them.

I have nothing but nice things to say about this property. The people are friendly and the property is clean and attractive. The only problem is the parking situation. There are a few spaces at the hotel. Otherwise you have to park at Applebee's next door or a parking garage. All the other spaces are meters. In the metered parking there are a number of handicap spaces you don't have to pay for but it's a little haul to the hotel. They do not serve breakfast.

We have the Green Mill Restaurant on site with us, which offers our guests a wonderful selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. I love the view that was the best part of everything however there was no breakfast there were leaks in the hotel which wasn't a huge inconvenience but it was a distraction to the eye. Lastly the area to get coffee is so small that if there's more than two people in there you're not getting coffee and your elbow to Elbow

I stayed here for the annual state mapping conference. This hotel even has a library! What's not to love? And some healthy choices in the vending machine. And great views of the Mississippi River. My family and I were here for a wedding and were hoping to get an early check in. I have 3 younger daughters and they were staying at the hotel with their grandma during the ceremony so we needed to get in right away but the hotel was busy and no rooms were ready yet. I'm sorry BUT I had to walk a great distance to the elevator after check-in. It's a messed up elevator system, staying on different floors use different elevators in different parts of the main lobby.

I came to St Cloud for business and stayed in the hotel for 1 night. Staff was friendly and helpful both at check in and check out. I was nice not to have to get back into my car once parked and drive to a restaurant to get something to eat. The restaurant staff was friendly also.

The Kelly Inn has amazing rooms! You don't find that in just any hotel. The location is within walking distance of so many restaurants and bars. The pool area is wonderful great for families or for anyone that is there on business just bring your swimsuit/trunks! Green Mill is attached and so is the Conference Center. What I also love is FREE parking! Meeting room was great for our conference. Staff was really pleasant and extremely helpful!

The staff and accommodations are fantastic! Close to downtown so you can easily walk around and check out other establishments and nightlife. The staff is very polite and makes all reasonable to ensure you're taken care of. I couldn't recommend a hotel in St Cloud more than this one. A couple of the rooms can get a little noisy if you're by the pool though, however that should be anticipated when booking a poolside room.

We had been at a benefit all day for my nephew and were very tired. Needless to say when we got to our room it was amazing. Very big a couch to relax on and a very comfortable night sleep. The only thing I wish was that they had a continental breakfast in the morning I didnt feel like looking for a restaurant to stop at.

The rooms were damp, almost musty. When you crawled into bed the sheets felt damp or wet. They offered a new room but it was the same. I was hoping to purchase a hygrometer to measure the humidity of our room, but our son was injured and ended up in the ER. We weren't able to stay the night. The hotel gave us a $15 dollar discount. It didn't feel very compassionate? The decor is sub par.

We stayed at this Kelly Inn a couple of years ago and I can say that the service and quality of our stay was just as good if not better than our last trip. The reception area is huge but very nice. We were on the fourth floor in a lovely room overlooking the Mississippi. It was just wonderful. Lots of room with a couch and roomy counter area for our stuff. The bed was very nice and comfortable, the pillows were soft and they have extras in the room if you need them. The bathroom was a very nice layout and had lots of room. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming. These days its the little things that make us feel appreciated. The only negative thing I can say is that this property does not offer free breakfast in the morning but they give you a discount for food at the Green Mill that is attached to the hotel. They do have the breakfast to go bags though. And lots of coffee in the lobby for your travels. I would have to say the Monica and her team do a fantastic job of welcoming travelers and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. They have lots of parking and the location is very easy to find. We will definitely stay there again!

This hotel is convenient to downtown St. Cloud. The staff are friendly, the rooms and property are clean. The rates are reasonable for a downtown location. There is a restaurant attached that has good food and is very convenient.

Comfortable room, clean. Water in the shower & sink is the hardest water I've ever encountered-- I took a really long shower only because I was trying to wash off the soap & shampoo-- in the end I gave up. Don't they treat the water? We thought the motel was fine but a bit overpriced considering there is no breakfast included (they offer 10% off at the restaurant, but we didn't want a long sit-down meal). I had a quick trip to a conference. I live within an hour but had a late night of meetings and needed to overnight. It was perfect, clean, and check in was even early at noon. Was thankful, as I wanted to unwind and catch up with work stuff before conference began mid afternoon. Clean, which is of most value to me.

We had a nice, clean, well appointed room. I would have given a higher rating if I had seen evidence that the hotel was making good use of resources. When I returned after the room was cleaned, EVERY single light was turned on! We had hung our towels after using them, but all were replaced. The bars of soap had even been replaced. These were bars that could have been used many times - at least the two nights we were going to be there. I hope the hotel makes efforts to become “greener”.

This is a great place to visit. The property is huge and has a Greenmill attached. The pool is huge and the hot tub is lovely. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. It can easily accommodate large conferences and take care of individual guests with ease. I keep going back and strongly suggest it if you are in the area. It is a plus property.

Great hotel awesome pool great restaurant attached nice size room for an affordable price. The rooms had a mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave. had eery thing i need to make sure my stay was comfortable and easy to access of everything i needed

I stay here every year since we have our conference here and the convention center is attached makes it so easy. I would encourage folks to stay here and enjoy the area around the hotel. There are a number of food places also.

Staff was friendly, hotel was nice but, I called customer service this morning with two complaints. Our room was nice, large, clean carpeting BUT the upholstered furniture was dirty - arm rests, seat cushions were dirty and really need a good shampooing or replacement. Upon check out, the desk sent me to another Best Western as we traveled to another area in MN. Only problem, it was now a Days Inn and hasn't been a BW for years . . . it was also a filth, unkempt property that should be totally rehabbed. The BW front desk people have to know what they are recommending.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The service provided by hotel staff was excellent. It was a last minute stay and I was happy with the quietness and comfort. The Green Mill attached was not so great. Our pizza the night of our stay was not cooked. They offered us a free breakfast and that was worse then the pizza. We were short on time so needed something quick. Stuffed French toast it was. A smear of cream cheese on top and 6 blueberries does not qualify for stuffed in my book and at that price should have been more the 3 tiny thin pieces. Save your money and eat at Perkins down the block.

This is perfectly located right on the Mississippi River in downtown St. Cloud, near everything. It also has a restaurant and bar attached, a very helpful staff, and clean comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our overnight stay here, and ate at the restaurant (see separate review) for dinner, which was very convenient since we were tired from driving all day. Despite being downtown, it has easy access on and off I-90. I definitely recommend this property.

This place is not bad, BUT I encountered a few things that might be helpful to you if you plan to stay here in the future: 1) The front desk is very nice but slow. This will not be a speedy check in process 2) The hotel room layout is a bit of a puzzle, so be sure you take the correct elevator as they all go to different places. I was directed specifically to an elevator (it was written on my key card envelope) but my room was not anywhere to be found. I came back to the front desk (of course had to wait as someone was checking in and that apparently takes a while...) only to be told that I was given the wrong elevator number. Another guest was also in the same predicament and was waiting right behind me. 3) They have a "library" that doubles as a business center. Be aware that these computers are the slowest in the history of electronics. 4) I did NOT have a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door, but still did not have my room refreshed after the first night. 5) I was unable to regulate the temperature in the room with the thermostat on the wall (perhaps it was not functional) so after nearly freezing half the night I tried adjusting the temperature directly on the wall units. That worked for me, but a friend staying there told me that her room was so hot she had to find a way to open a window! On the plus side, the room was VERY large, bathroom amenities were nice, and bed was comfortable.

Spent two nights here while visiting college for my son and conducting business meeting with client in MSP. Older hotel next to convention center. A couple of issues for me but overall a decent stay. First, breakfast is only available in the restaurant next door which did not open until 8 am. Granted it was a Sunday but had hoped to have an early breakfast. Last, there were a few instances of loud people in the hallway as late as 2:30 am.

Where should I start. Room are very out dated and smell very old. The hallways are dirty. Front desk personnel people were very nice. There was no parking because of the very large wedding. Hallways are not light well. Work out area is very old. Wouldn't stay again.

Piper made check in fun, and when I asked Isaiah for a dnd sign he said he would go look for one, instead of telling me he couldn't find one, he took the time to personally make me one using paper and a key, very clever and way to show you care!! I was here for the business conference and I brought my 17 yr old daughter. We had to check out before the conference was over so she had to sit in a public seating area near the conference room. She was approached by hotel staff inquiring if she was a guest at the hotel. My daughter expressed her concern of not feeling comfortable or welcomed. Since there were 3 different conferences happening in the hotel, there was no easy way to determine guests or not, however my belief is she was approached because she is an African American female. This is very unacceptable, especially since we had been in the hotel for 3 days. Although, my daughter did not inform me of this confrontation until we left the hotel; I did not report it. My hope is that your staff does not make any other guest (current or former) feel as uncomfortable as my daughter did.

I personally spoke to our associate who had approached your daughter and said she did so because of the youthful age/look of your child, making sure she was okay as she had been sitting in and around the hotel for numerous hours. Our team is one of highest integrity and character and looks out for the well being of all of our guests and non guests alike. I am proud of our team for checking in with your child as they apparently were untended while you were at your conference. Great place, scenic, even though I was busy and din't see a lot beside conference rooms. Convenient to other parts of town and the convention center which was nice. The breakfast was especially better than usual due to the whole conference eating.

Be careful when going to the Kelly Inn website and booking on-line. The cost will exceed 30% and you will be treated poorly by the check in staff. We had 3 rooms that cost about the same per the website check in, when in fact, these rooms were all different sizes and outdated.

I went to the desk to check out and was very impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and friendliness that was shown to me by Jenna & Harley. Beautiful view of the River quick walk to several restaurants, bars and businesses. Superb customer service....

This BW Plus was twice the price of my local BW. Has only free coffee and apples and no complimentary breakfast like BW Plus Daytona, FL. . Parking was for European sized cars with four door trucks taking two spaces.

Came here for a friend's bday party. Check in was quick and easy, our room was on the small side two beds but not too much room to move around. We were on a level above the poolside rooms, would not recommend if you want a good night's sleep as children are in the pool bright and early. Green Mill is attached so if you want a bite to eat you can go there. The convention center is also attached, which was nice as they had a free boat show going in so it was fun to look at the boats. Check out was quick the two gentleman at the counter were extremely pleasant. This hotel has lots of options without ever having to leave the premises, great pool area for the kiddies, close to downtown where there are lots of restaurants.

Nice clean hotel. Location is great if you want a fun Friday night out! The attached Green Mill is awesome as well. Maybe a titch over-priced for the little room we had, but it was totally comfy and clean for the two of us. Parking is a little weird if it's your first time there. I had no idea where to park.

Nice room, considerate and professional staff. Staff kept our small conference properly fed, hydrated and comfortable. Restaurant also very good, and the bartender actually knew how to make a great martini. My guest room was great, very comfortable mattress. Only item was the room refrigerator needs a freezer section for those of us who travel with meds where we need to refreeze ice packs for travel.

I LOVE staying at the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud. I've stayed there probably a dozen times in the last couple years. The customer service is great; professional, efficient, and friendly. I usually ask for and get a room overlooking the river and just love it. It's a great location; very close to lots of restaurants as well as "old" downtown.

Stayed the weekend in a suite for some hockey games. Staff was very nice during check-in and check-out. Hotel and room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast had a variety of options. Parking was a little crowded but we figured out you could park out back and it was actually quicker to get to our room.

Stayed for Business in late January 2019. Great location near downtown and walking distance restaurants. Attached Green Mill restaurant was more that adequate for most occasions. While parts of the hotel seem to be nicely updated, other haven't been touched in decades. Our “upgraded” suite was straight out of 199- something. The couch in our room was so old and worn, I wouldn't recommend anyone sit on it without putting a towel down first. Really in need of room upgrades. Bed was comfy and clean though. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had four families stay poolside and had a great time. The perfect place for children of all ages. They have a childrens pool at only 2 feet deep and full size pool at 3 feet to 6 feet. They have a bar and restaurant attached so you don't even have to leave the building.

The king size room was very large with a small fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly and tended to our needs immediately. My only concern was the distance to parking and the lack of a complimentary breakfast. Neither of these are a big concern to me but I thought I would mention them. The Green Mill restaurant is a short walk through an enclosed corridor, eliminating the need to brave the elements for a great meal. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice motel with all the amenities and great staff. They were very helpful - room was quiet even though we were next to the pool and hockey kids. No breakfast available. Attached restaurant was good

Short night however room was very comfortable and clean had a view of the river, staff was very friendly and helpful to our questions. Didn't have time to use the pool or fitness area will have to make a point of that next time. Will continue to stay whenever in St Cloud.

this is the third year we have stayed and it has met our needs. having the extra room in the pool area made it so much easier to enjoy and watch kids. they only thing that would make it better is a few more amenities geared towards teenagers.

We have stayed at this hotel every year for the past 10 years for the Granite City Kennel Club dog show. The staff that we encountered have been consistantly very pleasent, helpful and so good with our dogs. Our rooms were always inviting (especially like it when we get a view of the river behind the hotel). Our room this year was perfect for our needs, but other years we did have rooms too small and ones that were only accessable by stairs (not good when you have bad knees and alot of stuff to carry up and down without assistance).

Great location to downtown bars in St. Cloud. Attached to convention center. Perkins & Green Mill really close by as well as many restaurants within close walking distance also. Great spot walking distance if you're looking to go out & not have to drive home

Upon checking in I had the pleasure of dealing with Lindsay. She was very professional and helpful during our entire stay. We sat in the lobby for some time and during that time watched as she helped check in a large group. She was so kind and genuine with everyone she helped. teh hotel was attached to the convention center so was very convenient. Green Mill bar/restaraunt was attached to hotel. Also very convenient. Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms were all pet friendly. dog treats at the frot desk.

Great stay in downtown St Cloud. Hotel staff is excellent very friendly was great help for not knowing the town. . Nicely located in downtown area lots of entertainment. Will stay again when in St Cloud . Ride services picked us up right in front. Bar and restaurant in house was nice for get together with friends.

Best Western Kelly inn is the place to stay in St. Cloud. From the very friendly front desk to our room was a great stay. Clean and comfortable. Everything worked well, bathroom was spotless, our room down at the end of a hallway made for a nice, quite environment, and our beds were very comfortable, so we could get a good night's sleep after being on the road most of the day. Definitely the place to stay.

Seems like 1990 was the last time for any upgrades. It's a hotel, usual in every way. All rooms seem to have had pets in them. Ours smelled slightly of smoke too. Hair in shower wasnt mine..... Front desk lady was accommodating and pool was average. Parking is confusing especially when no one really tells you where to park. Good location for walking to downtown.

It is a nice hotel, the staff at check in could be a little friendlier and helpful. We weren't told where anything was in the hotel and when I asked the desk clerk was short with me. The rooms were clean and kept that way the following day. The conference rooms were small but nice.

We stayed two nights while in town for a conference. This is our second time staying here. We stayed in April 2018 also. Our room flooded in April from a toilet that wouldn't stop running and the manager and hotel staff were very nice. We ended up with a complementary night stay which we used for part of this trip. We booked a pool side room so our boys could have pool time while I was at the conference. The rooms are a little small and crowded, but clean, comfortable, and appear to be recently updated. The beds are comfy, the towels are nice, and the coffee is good. The pool is very nice and the boys had a lot of fun. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly during our stay. What made our stay not great: our bathtub drained very slowly, the room was small (I believe some of the other rooms away from the pool may be larger, or they appeared larger on the map), the pool area is huge but has a lot of wasted space, more tables would be nice and more pool towels. There is no breakfast. There is a restaurant on site, but for the price of the room, there should be a continental breakfast included. The hotel policies listed in the room states there is a grab n go breakfast at the reception (fruit, breakfast bar, and water) but when we inquired about it we were told they no longer offer that because of the Green Mill restaurant. Lastly, the hotel was freezing! While walking in the main level back and forth to our room and the conference, I swear I could see my breath. The conference was so cold I wished I had my winter jacket instead of my fall jacket. My toes and nose were numb from the cold. It was miserable. I think the heat hadn't been turned on yet, but it is time to turn on the heat!!! Also, we had to keep turning our heater on in the room, it kept shutting off even though it wasn't the temperature we wanted. Overall the hotel is clean and the staff are wonderful. But for the price of the room, some kind of breakfast should be included. It would be nice it the hotel switched their toiletries to a dispenser like the kind the best western in Blaine has. In the shower there is a dispenser with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They still give soap and a makeup wipe, but it's nice to not have to try and squeeze shampoo out of a tiny bottle. And, it would save on waste. The brand of toiletries at the Kelly Inn were very nice though, and smelled refreshing.

This is an older property, nicely remodeled, well appointed rooms, very clean, friendly staff. Pros: Clean, green mill attached, staff, Keurig in room coffee, soft towels Cons: Stayed in a basement room, difficult to drag luggage into 4 doors one flight of stairs, slightly musty odor for such a clean room, plugged sink. Ice on 2nd floor. Anyway still a nice place just avoid the basemen level. Area is very congested so ok for tractor only , pickup and camper, RV. CLC accepted.

The hotel was on the high end of the price scale.The hotels could use a lot of upgrades.The rooms were large with a decent bathroom but the bed was one of the worst I've slept in.The hotel is located on the river which is nice.

great place to stay, easy to get to and wonderful staff were helpful in every way, the rooms were clean and comfortable. the pool and exercise room were great and wonderful amenities. there is also on site laundry if you need it.

I recently stayed here with my wife and three small children for a wedding. The staff was polite, prompt, and overtly helpful. In particular Morgan and Tyler went out of their way to help ensure our stay was enjoyable. Morgan even suggested a nearby farmers market we could walk to with free fruit or veggies for kids! Thanks for a great stay! I wish all hotel employees approached their profession as well as these folks.

We stayed here during the Granite Games competition in September and it was a great decision. The room was extremely comfortable the staff went above and beyond to help with any needs/ requests we had and the location was great and close to everything.

Well she is literally amazing. I was having a down day and lost some personal things of my own. She let me use her sunglasses for my motorcycle. Need more people like this, she went beyond that. Her and Lindsay raised my spirits and showed me to be happy and enjoy life. True life savers

The hotel is well situated being attached to the Riverside Convention Center. Room was comfortable with good amenities (WIFI, refrigerator, TV etc.). Pool area was a little loud with sound reverberation, but that is a minor inconvenience. Good restaurant (Green Mill) attached to hotel.

First to start off with hospitality off all the staff is exceptional good.Very friendly and helpful, but then all Best Westerns I never have had a bad experience. one employee Harley very helpful put my truck in the shop for my preventable maintenance us truckers call PM. Left my phone charger in the tuck and went to the front desk to see if they had one I could borrow and Harley let me borrow hers knowing she was getting off in 30 min. and not returning in 2 days. Hotel always clean and comfortable.

Booked through Expedia so we paid slightly less than full price, otherwise it would not be worth the standard rate. Stayed 2 nights, maids never cleaned the room, or stocked towels or amenities. We were very excited about the “adults only” hot tub until we realized that there was no enforcement of this policy and that the hot tub was constantly FULL of children and the entire pool area seems to be an unofficial spot for unsupervised children to run and scream. Just the environment we were hoping for after 10 hours of driving. Hotel was clean, relatively new, and conveniently located, but I would suggest choosing somewhere else.

Very nice clean room with view of the river. The hotel staff were all very pleasant. There was a wedding on site and you would never know. Very quiet. I ordered out food from the Green Mill restaurant which is located on site. Excellent food and service.

We stayed here for 1 night and had a great stay! The front desk gal (I believe her name was Lindsey?) Was very friendly and super helpful. She made us feel welcomed! The kids loved the pool area. The pool was on the warm side, which was nice. The hot tub was perfect also. Just what we needed after a long day of travel. Not sure if they offered breakfast. We checked out early and got on the road.

We made reservations for 3 rooms for a conference in July requesting two of the rooms to be adjoining. The young man helping us was trying to help us bit when the shift manager at the front desk stepped in and was trying to tell us we never asked for that and it was clearly written on the reservation that it was requested. The shift manager was getting short with us and was not giving us very good service. I felt sorry for the young man who was originally helping us. Other than this incident, our stay was uneventful. You might want to dress warm if you have a conference in the big conference room because it is really cold!! The service, other than Morgan was good. The rooms and beds were comfortable. We will stay there again. Hopefully next time we will get an adjoining room.

We stayed here for one night with 2 pets. Great location and easily accessed with a travel trailer in tow. Check in/out was super fast and the staff were extremely friendly (I believe her name was Lindsay, but I could be mistaken...) The rooms were very clean, but the one downfall was the size. Fairly tight quarters, especially with the furniture placement. The restaurant is attached and the hotel is very quiet. Overall a great stay and we would gladly recommend/come back!

I have stayed at the Best Western Kelly Inn several times over the last several years when I attended an annual meeting for my job. Two years I stayed elsewhere, but ended up coming back to the Best Western Kelly Inn. It is nice that everything from hotel to meals to conference meetings were all under one roof. The rooms are very comfortable. There are small refrigerators and microwave ovens in the rooms. The rooms are large and not crowded with furniture. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The free coffee was a definite perk! My only complaint is that they have downgraded their pillows. When I have stayed there in the past, they had large, comfortable bed pillows. This time when I got to my room, I found they had replaced the large king sized pillows with half-sized pillows, so they were about the size of throw pillows. They were hard and lumpy. I could feel the chunks of foam through the cases. Every morning I woke up with a stiff neck and a bit of a headache because of the angle my head was forced into by the pillows. Every thing else was exemplary!

This hotel has everything that one may want and or need. The location is very close to the college and if you like hockey its even a better reason to stay there. The Green Mill is great, and all the other businesses that are in walking distance of the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for a hockey tournament. The check in and check out was great. The guest room was nice, with a fridge and microwave. The only problem was the tiny bathroom which included a bathtub/shower. The bathtub/shower was also very small and hard to stand in due to the sides were angled in toward the middle. I you don't have great balance, you will have a very hard time standing in this bathtub! Good luck future guests. It will prepare you for the bathroom on a cruise ship!

About 35 family members met here for an annual family reunion. We requested and got a hospitality room at one end of the 6th floor, which had a superb view of the Mississippi River, a refrigerator, microwave, bar sink, raised bar, ample outlets, a long conference table, ample chairs, a sofa, coffee table, serving credenza/dresser, as well as a bed and TV for someone to actually sleep in the room when the party died down. There was a big bathroom with access from both the party area and the bedroom side. We LOVED that the hotel booked our rooms surrounding the hospitality room with the family members, because we can be a little noisy telling family stories and sometimes playing the accordion! and it's nice not to bother other guests. The hotel staff was wonderfully accommodating when family members from 5 states began to arrive prior to check-in time...two different staff members notified me the minute my room was ready. My own room had a nice fridge and microwave, and a little coffee bar that I liked. Bed was comfy and the room was QUIET! The restaurant was able to handle large masses of us all at once, so that 15-20 people could eat together, without a reservation. The restaurant has good food, plenty of variety, and very fair prices.

There was a large conference in the hotel (we were not participants) so I was a little concerned about noise and service. Pleasantly surprised that check in was quick and easy, and we had no noise issues at all. The room was clean and well kept, included a refrigerator and microwave, comfortable chair and footstool. Overall good experience. The room was spacious and clean. Nice little refrigerator and coffee maker. Courteous staff. Good quiet heating system. No breakfast was included with the price. We requested a shower chair but none was available.

We enjoyed our stay with our dog at you nice hotel. The only issue we had was with the heat. It was cold in the room. We had the front desk staff try and get it to work properly, which they did. Then by 2am the room got cold again. We tolerated it since we were not going to move to a another room at 2am. Other wise nice place and pet friendly.

Nice place to stay, friendly, clean and great for a conventions and banquets. Easy downtown access. Great prices, nice pool. Beds comfortable, rooms were updated. Very accommodating. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Our room was very clean and comfy. We like taking the stairs and the stair wells were very clean and bright. It was very nice being attached to the Riverside Civic Center. I went for walks at night and in the morning. The walkway outside along the river was very well lit so I wasn't afraid to walk out there at night. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I liked the lay out of the amenities. It was a very nice experience. We will be back.

The rooms are really outdated and mine was quite small. The only reason why I am giving a 3/5 is because I received good service. The location is good right next to the convention center with parking available for guests. If they would only re-vamp the rooms (and get new pillows) it would be great.

I tried to book a room at the Best Western Kelly Inn for two nights but the second night was sold out. Colleen was working at the front desk and reassured me that she would let me know if a room opened up. Sure enough, she called me up to let me know the had a cancellation. Awesome customer service. I understand that there is a conference center attached onto the hotel but the overflow of the events taking place overflowed to the hotel and took up the hallways and pool areas. Other than that the hotel was very nice and location was scenic!

I'll be honest. I was having some difficulty getting reservations through the on-line web-site of the national Best Western. My session was timed out and I did not get a confirmation number for my stay. So, I did the next best thing and called the actual property phone number and got the front desk. The lady on the other end of the line was great. She took care of the reservation and got me a confirmation number. She also said if I had a problem, let her know and she would help in any way. After hanging up, I checked my email and already had her confirmation number. I also had a confirmation number from the timed-out session. Thus the timed-out reservation was cancelled and the reservation was in because of speaking to an actual person. Upon arrival, there were issues with two different key cards. The front desk took care of everything, including re-assigning my room. Turned out it was an electronic reader in the door, not the card. I was still able to make my meeting with time to spare. I was also asked about how my "new room" was the next morning. All was well and I would recommend The Best Western Plus Kelly Inn when you're in St. Cloud for business or pleasure. Besides, the Green Mill Restaurant is right there and if you stay at the Best Western, you get 10% off your food bill! Worth it!

We had a horrible visit, they were having key issues and were not very apologetic about it and at first they made it sound like it Was our fault until we went up to the desk 3 times because our keys were not working.

In 2016 our family planned a Family Christmas get away for our entire family. We booked ten rooms and spent two days having our family Christmas. Nice clean hotel. Currently under remodel - as was the case when I was there two years ago. Not sure if the same project has lasted two years, or this is new. The bed was very comfortable, the view of the Mississippi River pleasing. I had a King room and it was spacious. No breakfast included in the price, but with your room key you get a 10% discount at the attached Green Mill restaurant, which is convenient. Food is very good, and decent prices. I was in a rush for breakfast, and they got the food to me promptly. All in all a very good stay, and I would recommend this hotel. Con - when they say your room is only accessible by stairs, it is. My room was on the 3rd floor, and I could go to 2nd by elevator, but climbed a flight of stairs to get to my floor. I knew this in advance, so was not surprised, but thought I would mention it for this review. I was here for a business conference which took place in the attached Convention Center, which was very convenient.

Mold came out in the back of the shower when water ran in the crevice in the shower. Little mold along the ceiling line above the shower. Coffee pot didn't work and boiled the water out of the side. Otherwise a good room.

Great place to have a conference. Walking indoors is better than traveling across town. Facilities available for swimming, eating, and exercise. Staff was welcoming and efficient during check in and check out. Parking was adequate and very convenient.

At night there was a bad smell coming from the hallways and we could smell it in our room when we went to bed. The next day when I was emailed a receipt it showed that I was billed an extra $150 and it did not describe why I was charged an extra $150. I tried calling the hotel to find out why I was charged an extra $150 but I never got an answer.

Personally I feel this hotel is extremely high priced for what you get. The guest room I stayed in was spacious which is nice however the cleanliness was not good. The bed spread was gross and disgusting which really made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel.

The hotel appears to have made recent updates to the rooms. I also ordered room service from the restaurant in the hotel and it took over an hour for the food. I called after an hour to check on my order and they had forgotten about it. The nice thing was they did offer a discount for the inconvenience. Unfortunately the walls are incredibly thin and you will hear anything in the room next-door.

Great view of the mighty Mississippi River. Could almost jump from my window in to the river. very friendly greeting when I arrived. Lobby is a little outdated but still nice. located in the heart of downtown St Cloud makes a lot of things in walking distance.

The hotel was very clean and nice. The hotel staff was very polite and willing to help out with any questions or issues I had. The Green Mill restaraunt had very good service as well. I ordered a pretty large order and it was to me in less than 20 min delivered to my room. The delivery guy was very polite and fast, I only had a hundred dollar bill on me and he had no problem with going back to the restaraunt to get me change. One of the best experiances I've had at a hotel in a long time. Will definitly stay here EVERY time I stay in St. Cloud.

This place was dirty and in disrepair. Disgusting for 160 bucks!! Broken door, damaged window sills, the television did not come close to the amount of stations the said they had, room smelled, a variety of colors on the bathroom shower and floor that was mold or mildew.

The restaurant the morning after was a great thing to have open for bloody mary's and food, but the service and food were poor. Hotel was neat and clean. Check in staff friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and food was good, served quickly and waitress was exceptional. I stayed here because it is attached to the conference center. The staff is friendly enough, the rooms are small but clean. If you are an individual that likes to take baths, these tubs are not good since the back is straight and uncomfortable. Breakfast is not included and the restaurant has a very limited breakfast menu, but was okay for dinner. It is very close to downtown and with in walking distance to bars and restaurants.

We have only experienced one hotel worse than this one. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, even though it has been a no smoking hotel for a long time. Which tells you how old the carpets and/or draperies must be. Only the center of the room had been vacuumed, and there was still trash in the trash cans. There were stains streaking down one of the bed skirts - vomit? Or worse? The desk chair had a similar stain. The bolster pillow was tattered to shreds. With such visible signs of uncleanliness, one wonders about unseen filth. We were there two nights for a conference. When we arrived back at the room on day 2, the carpet still hadn't been vacuumed, the trash had not been emptied, and the beds were haphazardly made. My 8 year old makes beds more carefully. I would not stay here again.

The staff is amazing. The room was beautiful and very spacious. The staff was amazing, they were very friendly. The hotel was totally booked and the parking ramps were all full. They helped find parking across the street and they paid for the parking fee.

The room I had at this hotel was in serious need of improvements. The pillows were terrible and worn out, bed too. Bathroom was very dated and the ac/heat unit performed badly. Too much competition to have these updates overlooked.

Attended a conference at Rivers Edge. Convenient that the hotel is attached via sky way. Room was decent sized, bathroom was tiny but I've had smaller. Clean, comfortable and quiet for the most part. Asked for room with view of river as I heard that side was quieter. A bulb was burned out in the bathroom, ac/heat was a tad noisy but nothing that couldnt be tolerated. Staff was nice, pleasant and helpful. Restaurant attached to hotel was ok. Service was a bit on the slow side. Unfortunately on Saturday we went there for breakfast only to find the didn't open til 8 am and conference started at 830 am. So took a quick walk a couple of blocks to get bagels. This hotel should be part of Best Western's Premiere group. It is far and away the best hotel we've stayed in. The decor was great. Service was superb. Food at the adjoining Green Mill restaurant was excellent and reasonable.

Roomy, clean and convenient. Second time we've stayed here. Attached restaurant and plenty of parking. 125.00 was a little high but Minnesota like to tax the out non-residents at every turn to pay for all those hockey sticks they break.

Tiny room with poor attention to detail as far as cleanliness. Foul odor in the room. Burned out lights. Tiny foyer when door is opened. Can't get a luggage cart in the room. Can't walk in the room with a luggage bag in each hand. The desk in the room was very tiny and was difficult to work at. Not a big deal if you are not their on a business trip.

It was ok we go here every year for our conferences. The rooms are nice a big for meeting as long as you have enough chairs in them. For some one to spend a couple days here it is comfortable. The restaurant attached has good food if you like variety. They did a great job on our meals for the conference. Only thing I would ask to be different would be no so many muffins. some were slightly dry like they were frozen and rethawed out.

Our visit was only one night this time but we will be back. A problem in the room was handled quickly by maintenance, and all the staff members we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. We have already booked our next visit and are looking forward to spending more time there.

I had my wedding ceremony at this location and the staff was very accommodating! The space was so beautiful I didn't even have to decorate! Front desk associates Tom and Morgan were so friendly and helpful!! I had a lot of particular requests and they made it all happen with no questions. I was able to check into my suite early to get ready for my wedding. Very clean and updated! My whole family and I were so pleased!!! Must stay here if you are in town!! Our room overlooked the Mississippi River!

Great hotel and best value I've found this year traveling the US on business. The restaurant and bar had very good food and service and the location ( we were working a Tradeshow at the Convention Center next door) was perfect. I will definitely stay here again next year.

This was a lovely place and our room overlooked the river. It is a convenient location to highways and to the convention center. Liked having a restaurant so close we did not have to drive, hotel is clean and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Recommend staying here.

Everything was OK but I was just wondering why you stopped offering express checkout. There where a lot of people hurrying to get checked out early because of a scheduled meeting at 9:00 AM which caused things to get hectic. Even one of the housekeepers commented on this to me.

The hotel offers guests with email addresses on file the convenience of having a zero balance receipt directly emailed to them for ease and access on any of your devices. We also offer those that prefer express check out via door delivery this option as well. It is always our hopes that our guests find their stay as stress free as possible and I would like to extend my sincere apology if you had any discrepancies during your time with us.

I stay here once a year or so for a conference. There is a convenient access to the convention center. The hotel is clean and elegant. They have great friendly employees and a welcoming environment. I would highly recommend staying there!

First trip to St. Cloud for sales meetings and trade show hosted by my employer. Very nice rooms....clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The meeting rooms and adjoining conference center was an excellent venue for our meetings and show. Highly recommend to anyone, business, personal, or otherwise.

The rooms were very nice with a great view of the river. We had a conference room for a reception following an Hall of Fame baseball induction which our family and friends used. It was a great room and the front staff was very accommodating.

The MREA used the BW Kelly Inn for our annual conference and it could not have been better planned and delivered. The staff were kind and accommodating. The room was very spacious, clean, and super comfortable. I would recommend this location to anyone for business or personal stay.

Overall very good. Wish they would offer more than a 10% off breakfast in the restaurant, traveling with 4 children and the cost of the room makes having to eat there is not very cost effective. Other than that staff was very nice and rooms were clean .

Came here for a meeting that will be at the BW Kelly Inn and they offered our committee a group rate. I have stayed at a few Best Westerns and found most to be a step below a Super Eight but thought I need to give them a try. Arrived in the lobby to that grapefruit chemical smell that the lower quality motels have from using dollar store chemicals to clean. Check in was okay and the front desk was smooth. Went up to third floor in a small and dark elevator - down a dark hallway with a black carpet that felt sticky and like the floor was not level. Hotel doors are of the dark wood type and old. Door sticks and have to make sure to keep it locked. Room is not what I would call a standard of clean that would be acceptable to even a Motel Six customer. There is flecks of what looks like Coke smattered on the walls and the room and bathroom doors and frame. Furniture is outdated. Beds are old and not comfortable. Pillows have a body odor smell. An odd fact of this hotel - the rate for 2 people is HIGHER than for 1 person. So if you are a couple - you will pay $15 more per night for the room - why I have no idea. I have never had this happen to me and I travel a lot and I am no spring chicken! If you are staying in the downtown St. Cloud area - there are several choice within a block or two of this hotel. This place needs to CLOSE down! It should honestly be condemned. At $110 a night - your money is better spent elsewhere.

It appears that you already had preconceived notions of what our hotel may offer and I feel these notions have given you a negative thought before you even arrived. It is my understanding that your State event has contracted the government per Diem rate which entitles one adults to the $91+tx rate and two adults at the $101+tx rate. It was a clean and quiet stay. The check in was easy. The rooms where clean and the pool area was really nice. We liked that the restaurant attached was not to pricey and had a lot of different options.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The hotel was easy to find and pet friendly. The river ran by the property so it was a nice view. Plenty of room outside to walk the dog.

This hotel is connected to the convention center in downtown Saint Cloud. It does not serve breakfast, but there is a restaurant next door. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The room we had was exceptionally large with two comfortable chairs and ottomans, but the bathroom was very tiny. The property could make the room more comfortable if they general space was smaller and the bathroom larger. We realized after we left that we had left behind a small cooler in the room refrigerator. I called and asked them to look for it so it could be returned to us. The houskeeping manager called the next morning to tell us they had found it and said they would ship it to us. They quickly shipped it and we received it only two days later. Their service was exceptional.

I stayed 1 night in this hotel and will definately return. The place is clean, convenient, comfortable and the staff is outstanding. I left my phone & computer chargers behind, and the housekeeping staff assisted me in recovering them the next day.

A very top three star property which always exceeds the expectations with layout, accommodations, staff, and comfort. Pool and hot tub area are always clean, things are well laid out and staff always has a smile. There is no breakfast included, but Green Mill is attached for comfort. Only issue this trip was the thin walls and the over-aggressive couple next door. Will be back as always

Nice place to stay at. In St. Cloud business. We stayed in this particular location because of it's convenient location. There are several very acceptable restaurants, that are quite close and the hotels location is convenient to where we had to go. For my next stay in this area,I will likely choose this hotel again

This is a great hotel to stay at for a vacation. We stay here once a year and go to the races in Brainerd. We always have a clean room, and helpful, friendly staff. We love having the pool/hot tub available. The restaurant and lounge are also very nice. Excellent staff and food options. Also, there are several restaurant and bars that are close that are excellent as well. The Pickled Loon, the White Horse, and there are many others. I highly recommend staying at this Best Western, you can't go wrong here.

Here for conference, so hotel is packed and service still great. Rooms are very nice- faced the river. Never had to leave the hotel during 3 day stay- they offer anything you could need. Attached Green Mill and Bar- good food and friendly staff. Having conference center attached is a plus for bad weather or if you have run back to your room. Nice pool area and great walking are by the river.

We've stayed at this hotel several times for business meetings. Since we've been a diamond or diamond select member, we often times will be upgraded to a suite. The last visit we had a spacious king room. The location was nice, as it was quiet. The room was clean. A few times in the past, our location wasn't as nice. It is convenient to have the Green Mill Restaurant connected to the hotel. If you get in late and want a quick bite to eat. We've only had pizza. So, I'm not sure about the quality/taste of the food there. But, it is convenient. This location is convenient for downtown St. Cloud. I haven't tried any breakfast spots downtown. I usually drive to the mall area for meals. They have a parking garage and parking in back. It's actually pretty easy to get to the parking. There is no additional charge for parking. More of basic rooms, but definitely nice enough. And, we've had a microwave and refrigerator in our rooms.

I was on a motorcycle trip and stayed one night at this property. When I pulled up, I was removing my leathers and one of the staff walked out to greet me with a BWRider.com towel for wiping down my bike and welcomed me with a nice smile. All the staff I encountered were very pleasant and knoweledgeable with good recommendations of what to see while in town. The interior decor was wonderful and I spend a good hour just looking at all the decorations. I was told that one of the managers hand-picked most of the decorations from local stores. My room was wonderful with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby waking up refreshed. I will definitely stay here every time I'm in the area. 10 Stars!

The hotel itself is nice. It has recently been updated and is clean. The major negative for this hotel is the pool setup. There was a wedding at the hotel the night we stayed and it made for some awkward encounters. The reception was being held is directly across the hall from the pool. I did not like the wedding guests to see me in my swim suit! Also, the cocktail hour was held poolside. The pool was closed during that time. I do not think that all of the guests should be banned from the pool so a reception could be held there. I paid for my room and that should include pool use. Bottom line: If you are bringing the kids, make sure the pool is actually open.

This hotel is so big, finding room was a little difficult. It was close to restaurant and parking. We were traveling and they were ready for us. Traveling was not close to interstate but it was on the street down from the interstate. Size of room was big enough for four adults.

This was our 6th trip to St. Cloud and after staying at the Kelly Inn during our last trip, we were planning on staying again. Sadly, a third party website listed the Kelly Inn as sold out. We booked elsewhere andhoped for the best. Our alternative motel was simply uninhabitable - we left after one night, knowing we knew we would not recieve a refund. We arrived at the Kelly Inn late on Saturday night, hat in our hand, with little more hope than we could possibly find a broom closet to stay in. Enter Brooke, our front desk angel. After hearing our sad tale she said "Let me find something for you." She put us into an absolutely amazing room - saving our weekend. As we checked out, I went to the front desk in hopes of thanking Brooke. Instead, we met Morgan who also could not have been more friendly, charming and helpful. When I mentioned to him our story and how happy we were to stay at the hotel he looked surprised and said "I heard about you last night. So glad you had a wonderful night. Next time, don't trust that website - call us at the front desk!" Again - You have earned guests for life.

Stayed here before a day was great. This time our room wasn't the cleanest. The toilet had dripping like stool on the seat. Had to call to get it cleaned which they did but didn't offer any gratitude. Smell in room was a little dingy. We had a small room also. Everything else was fine.

When we checked in (excellent front desk service, thank you Hope!) we were told the room was a bit small, but this was REAL small and TOO small for the price charged. There was no continental breakfast - but the hotel is connected to a Green Mill and you could get a $10+ breakfast. The shower valve did not control the temperature, normally NOT a big problem, but the hot water temperature was well above the usual "hot" and might be described as scalding! When we attempted to book on the phone at Best Western's "Reservation Center" we were told the rooms were normally $190, but because we were there for a wedding, they would be $160, when we balked, we were told that it would be $130. We accepted and after giving all our credit card information, the individual said "Okay, that will be for one night and a total of $160 and we will charge your card today (a week before the reservation!)" We protested saying that NO hotel charges the card BEFORE the night of the reservation and that he had quoted $130. He tried (unsuccessfully) to convince us that 'all hotels charge the card immediately' and the additional $'s was "taxes". We told him to cancel. He did. I made the reservation online and paid just north of $140.

Hotel room was amazing - including the view of the river. Staff there was very kind and professional - and didn't get annoyed with my questions :) The Green Mill is attached and provided the best food & service I maybe ever had. LOVED this hotel, and will go back whenever I'm in the St. Cloud area. Free parking was a nice surprise as well.

My wife and I stayed here and let me tell you how much we enjoyed it. The hotel is very welcoming. It is a large but open hotel. Bright lobby with great parking. We had a wonderful room overlooking the Mississippi very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable as was the room. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgable about what to see and do in the area. The Hotel has the Green Mill attached for a restaurant which was very handy as we were tired after our trip. No driving just walked down the hall and it was Margarita time! We will be coming back to the Kelly Inn. Thank you to Liz and her team for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to our return. I can say that I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great hotel, is always clean and friendly when I stay. Also appreciate that it is pet friendly. The lobby did smell a little musty during my stay but it was very humid outside also. I would definitely stay here again and appreciate them hosting our conference. The catered lunch was ok, wish it was actually done by green mill. They also provided muffins & beverages in the rooms during conference which were much appreciated.

We had a very good stay at the best Western . The beds were comfortable in the room was quiet. The people were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Pick out working behind the front desk that tonight was especially helpful with directions and information as we needed.

Clean rooms at a decent rate, helpful and friendly staff, nice amenities (pool, exercise room) and connnected to a nice restaurant. I was there to attend a class and the meeting room was comfortable and plenty of good service from the hotel.

My family and I stay at the Kelly Inn frequently on visits to see my brother, who lives in St. Cloud. Over the past few years, we have stayed at virtually every hotel at or below this price range in town, and this is our absolute favorite! We now always stay at the Kelly Inn. It is fantastic and not too pricey, and as pet owners it is wonderful to find such a nice place that allows dogs AND does not have a pet fee! The whole hotel is very clean, the rooms smell fresh, the beds are awesome, it's quiet, the staff is great... Have never had a bad experience with anything. The pool area is very nice and the attached Green Mill Restaurant has delicious food and great hours and service. For the price, I don't think there is anything better in St. Cloud!

Very clean rooms, friendly & efficient employees, loved the pool & whirlpool. The Restaurant food & service was great! We had 3 rooms poolside next to each other and another across the hall so it was great having our whole group together!

Picked this hotel for an overnight in St. Cloud based on its reviews here. It was as I expected... clean, comfortable, conveniently located. A couple of things I discovered after was that it is right on the Mississippi River and there is a lovely trail with signs about the history of St. Cloud, which we enjoyed meandering along after supper at the hotel's restaurant which had a lovely patio area and gluten free food options. I would stay here again.

Rooms were clean and beds were awesome. Our family enjoyed their rooms as well and used the swimming pool. The swimming area was large enough for our family to gather and visit. Over-all our stay was super and we would stay again.

I stayed at this hotel for my niece's wedding. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay here. Everything was very nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. My son very much enjoyed hanging out at the pool when time permitted.

I've read a lot of comments for this hotel prior to booking and with all it has to offer why is no breakfast such a big deal. I feel like I saved 20 bucks staying here versus another place down the road so it more than made up for paying for a better than average breakfast at the Green Mill. Personally I would rather eat breakfast from a restaurant than one prepared by folks that don't have a culinary back ground anyway. Nice work Kelly Inn from check in to check out you exceed my expectations. Much appreciated.

Great helpfull staff, clean, great view of the Mississippi River, but poor internet connection. Parking area is under the building and close to a homeless camp under a bridge. Great in every way except these two ways. I did my internet work in the lobby and did not go to my car at night.

Great staff, room was very nice, pool area was great too except for the construction zone on 6th floor...Right outside my door was a shop vac and celing debris from a remodel but was all cleaned up by that evening...

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly - especially loved that the staff called to make sure we didn't need any help finding the place. The décor was gorgeous and the hotel was kept very clean and tidy inside and out. The hostess in the restaurant was very friendly and it made our wait go by quickly. I would highly recommend this place and plan on staying there next time I come through the area..

Only had to stay for one night. The check out girl was not very pleasant, but the check in girl was great. The bed was VERY comfortable. The room had a musty smell upon arrival, but after running the fan for a little bit, the smell went away quickly.

Very clean motel, comfortable beds, great service. We were a late arrival and were very pleased. We got a good nights sleep and was quiet. Well go back for sure. This was a business trip but had family with. We had a room at end of hallway. We did not visit the attached restaurant.

For me, a hotel doesn't need to be fancy, I want it to be clean and quiet... this hotel checked all of those boxes and more. I loved the location by the river and the convention center, super-convenient with an entrance through the hotel. I'd definitely stay again!

This is the gem of central MN. Have said it before and continue to emphasis how consistent this hotel is. Staff easily adjust as needed as changes occur and are proficient and professional. The hotel is always maintained to a very high degree. There are upgrades being made. The beds, towels, TVs, exceed expectations. The occupancy is so high, reservations are highly recommended. The location is walking distance to the downtown dining and bars.

My wife was at the convention center, so I didn't spend much time at the hotel. Liked that they had vending machines that took credit cards. Bed was fine and shower was better than most hotels. Very clean and no odors. Just slightly out-of-date decor. Lobby was modern, however.

We attended a wedding reception. The food was great and the room was excellent. Our stay was really good. The reception was great and the check in by Tom was really good. When we checked out Tom was on duty again and very pleasant. The check out staff of three were just like having a fun time. This is about the tenth time I have stayed here and they have all been great. The parking was close to an elevator too.

The Best Western Plus Kelly Inn is very conveniently located attached to the Convention Center. I felt that it is time for some updates both in the rooms and in the public areas. The parking is great and the attached restaurant is convenient. Breakfast is NOT included in the room prices.

The hotel was cool. I saw one of the Harlem Globe trotters. This was great. That Marty at Green Mill was Rude. I have ordered from the Green Mill before even when not at the hotel and she acted short and rude even when I was polite, so not sure about the exerperience.

Kelly Inn was one of the best Best Westerns stays on our road trip. Rooms and Bed were clean an up to date. The layout of Kelly Inn rooms, lobby, elevators, and parking were a little confusing at first. Little disappointed that there was no complementary breakfast.

I stayed at the Best Western Kelly Inn in St Cloud for a conference. Great experience and close to the conference and restaurant which required no travel to search for parking. I would definitely recommend to others who may be hosting a business or educational conference for your attendees. Out of town attendees could definitely appreciate hassle free aspect. I know I did! Definitely would stay here again.

I got a quiet room at the end of the hallway, so I was not disturbed by hallway noise. The room was comfortable and clean. Jon, my housekeeper, left a note on the notepad welcoming me, and I truly felt welcome. The hotel location is near many good restaurants and attractive stores. The on-site restaurant, the Green Mill, serves three tasty meals every day, and its bar is open late. This is my second visit here, and I've been pleased with every aspect of my stay.

I was given a king size room with a conference table, couch, wet bar and huge bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and loved the amount of space in my room. The location of this hotel puts you in walking distance to several great restaurants and bars.

The hotel is very convenient when you attend an event at the attached conference center. It is also great if you want to have the downtown bar area close to you. The room are nice. The only downside is the hotel is rather confusing to navigate. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

The staff was great and it is convenient for a conference. The room was comfortable bed good and nice work space. The bathrooms really need a remodel. They are clean and usable but clearly a 60s feel. The property goes have a gift shop but they have lots of vending. An odd approach but works.

Great night stay. Wasn't there very long but we slept very well. What is close to many attractions. We went to Greenville late at night the service was OK but we had a fun night. We would stay again if I came to St. Cloud

Nice friendly staff, Green Mill restaurant good. Room okay, bathroom could be updated. I would prefer tall toilet then the little itty bitty one. Nice to have parking lot - tight parking spaces. Easy walk to restaurants and bars - all it all good stay.

This a place where wonderful people work. They make your stay great! But when you get the bill do not trust it. I had at least an extra $100 charged to me. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR BILL!!! Someone here believes they can scam you.

Our skilled Front Desk Associates, after completion of your reservations, review all details of your reservation so our guests are with full understanding of the expectations of the guest and billing at the time of check in. I do take personally and offensively your insinuation that we are trying to scam our guests as we at the Best Western PLUS Kelly Inn hold ourselves and all of our team members to a high level of service and accountability. I would like to note, you were not over charged for your reservation, however, because we believe in a high level of customer service, we did already credit your account based on your "believed" rate, not the one that was properly quoted to you during the reservation process. It is unfortunate that we can not meet or exceed your expectations, however, we do continue to wish you safe and happy travels in the future.

Great staff with friendly service. Rooms are very nice. Parking is odd and be prepared for some walking. If you an early morning riser, plan for a walk to Perkins for you morning meal. Nice view of the Mississippi River and St. Cloud has some great night life with unique historic bars and dining.

The hotel was fine. The room seemed a little on the old side, as in it could use some renovating, but certainly better than other places I've stayed. TV was typical, nice wireless internet speed. I got the room on a slight discount for the conference I was attending, but I'd say the value was middle of the road.

We spent two nights with you during a Masonic Convention. The staff was very helpful at all times and the location of the Convention Center was perfect. Our biggest complaint was the size of the room, they were small and the beds were less than comfortable. You had to sit on the bed to let the other person pass you to get to the other side of the room. The rooms were clean as was the rest of the hotel and there was always coffee on which was a BIG PLUS for this group. But for the price, it was clean and for the view of the Mississippi out our bedroom window and the river walk out the door it was worth it. All in all it was not a bad stay, just would have preferred a more spacious room.

My husband and I stayed here Thursday-Saturday, April 6-8, so my husband could attend the Minnesota Masonic convention. Our room was very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The hotel was quiet, so it wasn't difficult to get a good nights sleep. My only complaint, and the reason I didn't give the hotel four stars, was because of their lousy wifi. While my husband was off doing his thing, I hung out in our room, hoping to play games on my iPad, but it was impossible, because their wifi kept losing internet connectivity. It was extremely frustrating. It's a good thing I had brought along a book to read.

Small rooms in one wing but adequate for one person, very well equipped and clean. Staff were friendly, helpful, professional. Food was good and well served. Linked to convention center and solid meeting location, with a number of dining alternatives close by (nothing really upscale).

Ive stayed here many times for hockey tournaments and the staff was amazing. The rooms are fantastic and the lounge and restaurant are perfect! Tom and Jenna were extremely friendly and offered wonderful pointers on life in St. Cloud. The decor in the hotel was exceptional! I was terribly tempted to steal one of the beautiful dragonfly sculptures! The view of the Mississippi River is stunning. Though our room was on the small side, it was incredibly efficient. Large refrigerator, OK sized microwave were welcomed amenities. Our bed was comfortable and the pillows as well. I am a harsh critic of hotel pillows, but I can assure you - these were fine! I hope the Minnesota Association of Townships considers this place for a future convention. It is outstanding in it's resources.

We stayed one night at this hotel for a conference. I had vowed I would never stay there again as several years ago we had two bad experiences. The hotel has been tastefully redecorated and it is beautiful. The staff was excellent to work with. Our room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here now.

Quite satisfied with our sleep at the Inn. The room was welcoming, comfortable, clean and the bed quite inviting. The hotel staff was exceptionally personable, professional and helpful. Morgan was the most helpful of all. The coffee was readily available and quite tasty. There is an excellent onsite restaurant attached to the hotel and the convenience of not having to walk outside sat well with us. Enjoyed staying here and will gladly do it again.

Great room, nice view overlooking the Mississippi River. Skilled and friendly staff. The Green Mill lounge and dinning was prefect. We will be staying at the Kelly Inn when ever we visit St. Cloud for pleasure or business.

The room was small but nice. Comfortable sleeping, clean, and quiet. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Convenient to convention center and downtown entertainment. Within walking distance to many food establishments.

Never again. Both of us woke up daily with back pain, kids were reprimanded for playing on the carpeted pool area as there was a wedding being held across the hall (they knew we had kids when they put us in those rooms) and it downpoured for 30+ minutes 3 times on our last night IN OUR BATHROOM. We were told maintenance would get to it in the morning as they had already left for the night. RIDICULOUS

I had to stay in St Cloud for an early appointment at the VA Medical Center. The location was 10 minutes from my destination. Setting up my stay on the phone went very well the attendant was very helpful and when I arrived to check in it was just as I expected and very fast. The room very very nice and spotless.If I ever need to stay in St Cloud again it will be Best Western Plus Kelly Inn with out a doubt.

First of all, I arrived to a lobby with water dripping into buckets and wet carpet! Then I was told to take the elevator to 2nd floor and walk to the other end and take the stairs to 3rd floor! Lugging my luggage was not fun! Parking lot was full and I had to park in a reserved spot until one opened up. The room was clean, bed was so comfortable and the view was so fabulous that I had to overlook all the negatives. Make sure you are not on 3rd floor up a stairway and you will be ok. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

I stayed for 48 hours for my friend's wedding and I thought that the location of the hotel was perfect because it was closed to the church and after other activities. The lobby had a bit of a meltdown because a water pipe burst in the 2nd floor and came down to the lobby cause tiles to come down and carpet got went. The hotel staff promptly clean up the mess and after few hours the lobby was back to normal.

We stayed over one night since we were closing on a home the next morning. The staff was professional and efficient. The room was spacious and clean. We also received a river view, which was a pleasant surprise. Mattresses were very comfortable and bedding seemed new. The Green Mill restaurant also has good food with a good menu options. This was our first time there and would definitely recommend. Also close to downtown for the bars and restaurants, but a couple blocks away so not too noisy.

The customer service was excellent from check-in to check-out. The only complaint I have is the wifi did not work anywhere in the hotel. The cleanliness is of quality. The room was fine just facing the swimming pool from the second floor will receive little natural light but good for sleeping if you like the white noise of the fan.

I am really wondering what the Plus means ? at some BW its a great breakfast and others no breakfast. Very hard to be chain loyal when you can not get a brand that is good across the board. BW St. Cloud is in a great location downtown and connected to conference center. You can easily walk to restaurants and the mall with Green Mill connected. Rooms are a fairly large size and come with microwave, fridge and coffee. My complaint is just with service as a member of the BW program I checked in with a number of other guests for a conference, you would think that loyal members of the miles program would get at least a river view, ummm no a great view of Wells Fargo and the parking lot. Had to keep curtains closed to keep the neon lights out. Now when complained I was told due to convention no upgrades. Well I did not ask for an upgrade, but I would have hoped that loyal customers received a little better room. Probably would not go back unless for convenience due to conference.

I also had a lower level room, three queen beds on two floors. I liked the space, but our room also had an odd smell, kind of musty. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was no elevator down to our floor so we hauled our luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel location is steps from downtown, so we were able to walk everywhere. Staff were all very nice and helpful.

Although the hotel staff were great, I was given a room overlooking the pool area. My room smelled of chlorine and it caused some breathing issues for me. The room was also very dusty which caused some allergy issues. I was there for a conference and assumed the hotel was booked full so I did not ask for a different room but now regret that decision. Otherwise, the food was excellent and the service was great.

The hotel was clean and nice, the staff friendly. The restaurant was not prepared for the amount of people so they were understaffed and ran out of some items. There was a forgotten energy drink left on the microwave but other than that the room was clean and nice.

I had my room filled with box elder bugs that I spent time having to kill them. I did go down to the desk and ask one of the girls to please come vacuum them up and I have no clue if she did or not. She said to me it was that time of year for them. I also got a wash cloth that was full of makeup and I don't wear make up. If some one inspected the room they sure missed that in plain site. It was the first one on the wall to use and I didn't. The next night there were still box elder bugs in my room and a huge spider I had to call the front desk to have some one come and kill it for me. He apologized for the inconvenience. Wish I thanked him for coming to take care of the issue. I use to work at a hotel and do housekeeping I would have left a tip in the room and I understand how long it takes to clean them. But I was confused when I went to check in they where assigning others rooms and told me I had to wait is there some reason why other got rooms and I was made to wait. Just wondering if it had anything to do with when you called in to make the reservation or not. It was the first time I decided to stay in stead of driving every day 3 hours. I guess I will just have to drive the 3 hours back and forth. The manager and the check out person were very nice.

We stayed in an odd basement room with 4 queen beds for a conference we were attending. The room had an odd smell, probably because of its location, but was a great value and it was nice that it was two floors.

I thought the pillows (synthetic and down alt) and bed were exceptionally comfortable for $90/night. The showerhead provided a strong flow not always found in other hotels. The staff was courteous and available.

Hotel staff was pretty helpful. Bar staff not so much. Poolside event was booked to close together!! our event was to start at 6 p.m. another event was booked there til 5:30 p.m. This really left no time for their clean up or our set up. No staff there to help at all

I've always enjoyed the Kelli Inn in years past-service, cleanliness and easy access to community is a big plus! My last stay however wasn't as pleasant as the suite I had overlooking the river was marred by the very strong, unpleasant odor of smoke that emanated from my room-making me sleep poorly and headachy in the morning. I was offered Febreeze or an Ozone room cleaner provided I leave the room for more than an hour-it was late and had been in meetings all day!

The reservation desk was very helpful. Her name was Jenna. She was very knowledgeable of the area and answered all our questions. And was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean. It is convenient to downtown St. Cloud.

Rooms were clean, smelled good and were comfortable. Some rooms not labeled well so you can get lost. Close to lounge and restaurant, couldn't get wi-fi to work, friendly check in and fairly clean. Down town gets a little wild after midnight.

the parking was terrible. I would Think if you stay at the Kelly Inn you could get a ramp pass. Had to wait 20 minutes to find parking which the closes was 2 blocks away. I didn't even leave because I would of lost my parking spot.

I checked into a non-smoking room at the Kelly Inn and immediately noticed a strong smell of smoke. When I called the front desk, the best that they could do was offer to send down a bottle of Febreeze. And this room was over $180.00 per night.

We stayed here for a night on a Saturday and had a good experience. Our room was very remote and we did have to walk a little way, but it was worth it as it felt very private and the hotel was booked full that night. The bedding was clean and comfortable. We used the hot tub and it was clean in the pool area. We wished it was open later on Saturday night so we could use it when we came back to the hotel, but it closes early. Overall I would recommend this hotel to stay at. Very good experience.

For the rate they charge for the rooms I would expect working wi-fi and housekeeping services without having to request it. During our 3 day stay not once did the wi-fi work. The first day we did not receive any housekeeping services and had to call and request them for the next day. Overall the room is fine, nothing spectacular, and definitely not worth the price.

We stayed at this hotel for business, a group of five in 2 separate rooms. The staff service was excellent. The building seemed a little out-dated, with peacock décor and dark brown brick hallways. There was no ice machine on our floor, but it was an easy trip down to the 2nd floor, it wasn't super far. Check-in & check-out were very quick and staff was professional. The restaurant/bar that is attached only serves until midnight, since they close at 1am, their last call is apparently at midnight. There were plenty of other bars within walking distance if you're looking for nightlife. There is NO continental breakfast. If you want to eat something in the morning you have to sit down at the attached restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not have time to sit down and eat, so we went to get breakfast on the go somewhere else.

Great value for the wedding group we were with. Happy to find a hair dryer in the room as I forgot mine. NO one in our group had any complaints about the rooms that we were staying in. Fun time! Looking forward to another stay there.

I had called the front desk from my car upon arrival asking where I am supposed to park and they were helpful. Also, front desk was knowledgeable of my arriving late. The staff person was aware of my room # and had my room key for me. They expedited a quick check-in due to my late hour arrival.

We were delighted to get the last room after a long day of travel. It turned out to be a beautiful comfortable suite along the river. To get there you had to go down long corridors, down 14 steps, and the room appeared to be a cave! Finding lights and a window, we discovered a very nice suite. Worked out well!

A great hotel in Saint Cloud. My room over looked a very narrow Mississippi River. Quite different from the Mississippi further south. The room was clean as was the hotel. I would stay again if in Saint Cloud.

Nice place friendly people. Main atmosphere updated, rooms are behind about 15 years or more. Beautiful view of the Mississippi River, a few blocks from a local college. Saint Cloud is a nice spacious community.

When we checked in we where very happy with the room. It was spacious and roomy in the bedroom area. The bathroom is very small and the toilet is very short. You must close the door to get into to shower/tub. The beds need some serious help--lumpy and when we woke in the morning there was a large bed bug crawling out with me. The promise of a clean room was not fulfilled on this visit. There was a used shampoo in the shower and dust covered lamps. The rest of the room was clean. Just was very disappointed with this visit. What a way to end what was a perfect 30th anniversary trip.

The hotel and rooms were very nice. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Even being uptown the view was nice and the rooms were very quiet. The adjoining restaurant was also delicious and reasonable.

This is the 5th year, staying one weekend a month at the Kelly Inn. The building continues to be refreshed in the high traffic areas such as elevators, hallways and entrances. The rooms have the best mattresses and bedding I've slept on, better than I have at home. The TV's are current models. The Internet service is consistently very good. Rooms are well maintained to a high degree of detail. The staffing is of course, the key to to each of these items. From when you call to schedule, arrive and check out, they are more than friendly and after a few stays, remember you. After 5 years, this has become a welcome second home. Making the work weekend less work and more a visit. During the time off the local area has places we have made favorites. The staff make the Kelly Inn, a gem this region of MN.

Spent 4 nights for business conference. Excellent staff! Great bed. Clean hotel. Good food. Nice bar. Great connection with Civic Center. Wonderful down time by the river. Only complaint is the musty smell throughout the hotel and suites coming from the close proximity to the water.

Stayed here for a conference at the convention center. I won't stay here anymore. I have allergies and the old building is full of mold. The ancient, worn carpets tell you that no one is interested in fixing this old place up and making it match the nice convention center its attached to.

The room was about the size of a closet. The stool was 1950s very low small. The room was clean but so very small. The $100.00 we spent to stay there was a very bad choice for us I am 69 yrs old and have never been taken like this. There was not even an piece of toast in the morning.

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are wonderful. The restaurant prices are in line with local pricing, and the even the pool is at the exact comfort temperature and not over chlorinated. Great experience...I can't wait to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Stayed here for the ABE LAN Summer Institute. In a former life I worked in the hotel industry so my reviews are quite rough. My expectations are quite high and I demand quite a bit. The Best Western Kelly Inn was able to deliver in most areas. Some areas needed work but I do have to say that they strive for your business by making sure your stay is comfortable by meeting your accommodations as best as possible. They are not the 5 star competition but you get treated with dignity and respect s if you were. Service: Very good due to the high quality staff of front desk. Knowledgeable and friendly. During the conference there was a high volume of check-ins and high volume call inns and while all of this was going on guest complaints and inquiries were coming in. I observed and the FD staff did a great job handling each guest with privacy and respect. Cleanliness: The room I stayed in was a double queen room. There was dust collection on multiple surface areas not easily visible to the eye. On the ridges of mirrors, on top of lamp shades, top of curtains. Allergen aware. Underneath the toilet bowl a quick wipe down revealed it needed to be scrubbed down. It looked clean but a toilet paper rub down under the bowl rim shows a bit more than rust stains. Other than those two cleanliness issues the room was well maintained. The sheets were clean, the bedding was maintained, the room fridge and microwave revealed no food and mold residue, so it was sanitized every time or at least wiped down. The cleanliness is better than most places that claim themselves to a higher standard so I rate it average. Overall, I came for a conference and will end up coming back one day with my family because I enjoyed my stay that much. I recommend you stay at least 1 night, dine in the Green Mill, watch some TV on the comfy beds and just enjoy the room.

I have stayed here several times. This time was the worst. The mattress and mattress pad were wet. I didn't notice at first cause they had put dry sheets on top of it. Also, the room seemed very humid because the carpet was damp. I complained and all they could do for me was give me a different pair of sheets and mattress pad. They said there were no other rooms available. They would not provide a refund either. VERY disappointed that they did not acknowledge the problem. Also their internet in the business room/library was VERY slow.

We booked the hotel through Hotel Storm and received a great discount, which was not available on our return stay. However, the hotel met our needs and we would stay again. My husband is a patient at Mayo Clinic. We were sightseeing on the weekend.

We paid $149 per night, and there was no breakfast provided for that rate. For a standard room, that is pretty pricey. The room was not very large, so the price was too high for the value received. The pool is nice, and the cleaning staff is very friendly and helpful.

A couple months before our wedding, I had called to reserve a block of rooms for our wedding. We didn't have any issues with that. I had to talk with a manager to do this and to get approval. While on the phone with the manager, I also booked a night in a jacuzzi suite for the night of the wedding. I didn't tell my fiance this at the time. She had called a week or so before the wedding to book a room and they told her they didn't have anything with my name on it. Telling me this a few days before the wedding, I called back to make sure we didn't double book anything as the manager was the one who was supposed to have booked my room and figured she didn't make a mistake with the process. The front desk was very helpful in telling me that they indeed did not have my name on file for a jacuzzi suite for our wedding night. Then they double checked my fiances name and said they didn't have the room on file that she had also just booked a few days before. After double and triple checking, I had them book me another room and transfer me to the manager's phone. I left her a message explaining all the problems we had booking rooms for our wedding night. No one ever returned my phone call or followed up on anything. On the night we were leaving for our honeymoon, my wife had me listen to a voicemail left by someone from the front desk. This was left the night of our wedding letting her know if she didn't come check in for her room soon, they would have to give her room to someone else. She had already checked into my room and stayed one night at this point and my room was under my name and phone number so we didn't understand why they'd be calling her phone. I called back and had them double check and triple check again to make sure there was nothing booked under her name. They agreed there wasn't anything booked under her name and told us we wouldn't be charged anything against the card she used to hold the room. So all being said, I have no idea what was going wrong with your system or staff, but everything we had to do with you leading up to our wedding night was really nothing but chaos and a giant headache.

This is a convention center in downtown Saint Cloud. The parking was quite a distance from our room. The view of the Mississippi was nice. The staff was friendly and professional with great service. We got a good night's sleep, but the hotel is showing signs of wear.

Overall, your hotel was nice. Just our room stunk of cigarette smoke. The restaurant was good (we have the same restaurant in New Ulm and we felt the quality and presentation of the food was a lot better in New Ulm)

Comfortable, affordable, easy access to downtown. Wonderful, helpful staff staff. Great bar/restaurant--staff are friendly and accommodating. Hotel was busy, but had quiet sleep. Love coming back every summer for family reunion.

I spent one night here and I thought it was an average hotel. The lobby and hallways are renovated but my room didn't have the same new decor. One thing that always bothers me about hotel rooms is when the Ac unit is very loud when it turns on and off, and this happened to me here. Makes it hard to sleep. But the room was clean and the hotel was overall quiet. They also allow dogs which was awesome. Within walking distance to my good places to eat.

Went on vacation to visit my old college; wanted to stay in a hotel with a view of the Mississippi and walking distance to downtown. Got exactly what I wanted. Hotel is in perfect location to walk to campus, and downtown establishments. Parking is free and I could leave me car as I safely walked throughout the area. The staff of the Green Mill are wonderful and uber-friendly.

This hotel was very nice. It looks over the Mississippi River. It is a big hotel with lots of conference rooms. Everything was in good shape and the staff was very nice. The room was nice and comfortable. There was no free breakfast.

Definitely recommended for all sorts of travellers. Beautiful scenery from the rooms, and lots of windows in the lobby to look out on the water. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Only down fall is that there is no breakfast included, but if you can get past that I'd highly recommend this hotel :)

You know going in there is no breakfast buffet and you know the price so if you want a downtown location or if you want a pool, this is a good place. The breakfast at Green Elm is mediocre at best, the room is small and there is not a morning newspaper. You can get more value elsewhere.

Nice comfortable hotel. Modern room with fridge and microwave. There is a place to eat and have a cocktail. If you're visiting the St Cloud Hospital ask for a special rate. There is a great view of the river. Has a indoor pool.
