Je m’inscris Stayed while “training” for a new job. Had a wonderful time. Enjoyed all our food. Great staff in the bar. We were looked after all week by Raj and Luke, who took extra care to make sure that all our needs were provided for. Highly recommended!!
Stayed here while working away, the room was nice, very lively place with events on almost every night, raj and Luke in the bar were brilliant, very polite and friendly, always happy to help. The food was good with a great selection on the menu. Would definitely recommend this place
The hotel is amazing with really good attitude of reception lady called Ipek,my story:It was my first trip to London and I came from thirdpart of world and I forgot that socket are totally different so I asked Ipek for help and she gave me her own!!what a lovely warm gift!Truly recommend Hotel especially with great service❤️
Top notch service. Excellent staff. Great food. Great ambience. Cleanliness is great. We sat in the Gazebo and it was brilliant. Ordered food which were served promptly. Parking was easy to access. Keep up the good wood. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Top notch service by the wonderful luke and yasmin, great hosts and made me feel very welcomed! Not from the area but it won't be the last time I visit the hotel, lovely stay. Great spot to set base, with travelling into London made very easy by the train station nearby
Amazing reception, couldn't be more helpful. Luke has been most helpful , we were late arriving due to traffic delays, taking our food choice and excellent service. Jasmine makes the best cocktails. Especially after a very long tiring drive.
Jasmine was super! Room 310 was lovely and well modified / updated Air con and cooled even though it was 28c outside which is very pleasant. Stay here on a regular basis and the rooms / breakfast and service is very good. Our company will continue to use the Prince regent for the foreseeable
Excellent front of house staff.......................... Beautiful garden with seating areas...the rooms are very nice with everything you need....................... ....... Shower is hot hot hot.................. Top notch👌
very very nice London Chigwell, BW Signature Collection by Best Western receives frequent commendations for its cleanliness and serene suburban location, making it a suitable choice for nearby events. While the hotel's atmosphere is often described as lively and its amenities, such as the food and spacious rooms, are generally appreciated, guests have expressed mixed feelings about the room decor and ventilation. The staff's service garners praise for their attentiveness, but service inconsistencies have been noted. In terms of value, opinions vary, with some
Absolutely first class service, hotel is very clean and I felt very relaxed every night. Rooms were always tended to by speedy staff and the go above and beyond attitude of all members was second to none. I would one hundred percent recommend this hotel to anybody who plans on visiting the area.
Brilliant location ,great for free parking . It was noisy at times and some behaviour of guests, was not reflective of past experiences or reviews . Brilliant breakfasts and staff but I was concerned about the noise and safety of others . Far too many cars blocking the Exit / Entrance . My last day was spoilt from lack of sleep .Room was perfect also facilities and staff are great . Room cleanliness is also excellent. It could have been a perfect stay .
Had an amazing stay at the London chigwell hotel, i had an issue booking my car in and locating the room and there lovely receptionist Ipek E was so helpful and polite to me and all the other guest before me in the line, I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
We stayed one night as we had an event to attend nearby. Finding reception was confusing as all the signs pointed to “We buy any car.com” which appears to share the space. We had a long trek to our room. It had an unpleasant smell and the bathroom was less than hygienic! Extensive cracks in the hand basin, toilet seat did not fit and toilet bowl was brown, water didn't drain away from hand basin, grout was brown and dirty. I recommend avoiding this hotel although there isn't much choice in Chigwell.
This was such a good find! Way better value than the usual business traveller suspects with really friendly staff (especially Jasmine!). The rooms are really comfy, great location for what I needed, clean and tidy and well presented. Definitely worth a visit!
Great service, lovely people, very welcoming, the food is top tier can't complain about it. Especially the fish and chips, the size of the fish that they serve could fill 3 people! Super crispy along with the chip! So definitely would recommend. Jasmine is very knowledgeable and helped with any of our enquiry's!
Jasmine and Harvey are great hosts, looked after us during our stay, Jas is the best. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and condiments. The food was amazing every night and if I wanted anything changed on the meal they would change stuff around for me and the all you can eat breakfast in the morning was top tier
The best experience ive had a pub, will definitely come back to have a pleasure stay really enjoyed my time here! Pillows and the bedroom is the best ever absolute silent while sleeping and no noise from the endless amount of weddings they have here!
We traveled to this establishment for a funeral it was a very sad day for us all, the venue done everything they could to make sure it was set up and presented so nicely which I really appreciate the attention to detail, Luke and Jake in the main bar was so friendly and efficient with the service it was so nice to see two lads working so hard. The buffet was outstanding I even had the pleasure of thanking the chef myself as he met us when collecting our food. A massive thank you to him and his wonderful staff.
Our family dinner was excellent thanks to the Chef for producing a superb meal. He also went to the trouble of moving his car to enable us to park in the very busy car park! The rest of the staff were also outstanding in their helpfulness and attentiveness throughout the meal.
There is no functioning air conditioning in the rooms. We stayed over for my sisters wedding which was being held in the function hall during the summer season and were informed by management that air conditioning in bedrooms was not advertised prior to the booking and they were waiting for council permits to have air conditioning . The rooms were supplied with a fan which was simply blowing hot air which made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep especially with a young family. Further we were invoiced with a room damage for an apparent floor stain with no photographic evidence to support this claim and payment had already been deducted. I would avoid staying in this establishment at all costs. Very poor service from management.
I come for a trip to visit family with 2 big suitcases I was early and the room was not just ready Courtney advised me I can keep my bags at reception and get a coffee in the bar which was a nice gesture. She managed to get the room for me which was 217 I never realised I booked a room that distance but it was worth the wait it smelt almost brand new only downside was it needed some ac I feel in the conditions . I was glad that the manager Jake could help me out in me getting to the room as I would be lost otherwise. During my stay I asked to move closer to reception as I needed to go in and out the hotel and my legs are not too good, they managed to find me a room in 409 which I really liked as it is close and yet again super clean the ladies at housekeeping do a great job and look so friendly and happy in the areas of the room they are working. I had the pleasure of Jake helping me out with the room swap he looked super busy and insisted that I did not strain myself with the heavy bags and he would go back and fourth just to bring them as there was no trolley left which I thought was amazing service which looked like a busy day as I saw him everywhere in the hotel even early morning in breakfast where it was amazing the lady chef helped me with my eggs and Beni was a pleasure to assist me with the food choices nearly every day. What a stay this was thank you.
I stayed for 4 nights and I would say this hotel felt so warm and friendly jasmine in the bar was superb and felt like nothing was too much for me which is more than I expected with a busy restaurant! The reception and manager helping me out in the morning was great the did the best they could ever do. There was a young lady called tatiana I'm sure she said she asked if I needed my room cleaned one day when I was leaving and when I got back it was amazing so see the level of care given, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and would come back if I am near the area for sure.
Lovely rooms with beautiful garden grounds. We had a very comfortable stay it was very clean. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much for them. Thank you prince regent Chigwell for everything. We will be visiting again.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a highly disappointing experience. The sheets were visibly dirty and it seemed they hadn't been washed after the previous guest's stay. The pillows had sweat stains and should have been disposed of long ago. All night, I was bitten repeatedly, which made it impossible to get any sleep. It's clear that the bedding was not only dirty but also infested. This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, and it shows a severe disregard for basic hygiene and guest comfort. I also noticed watermarks near the corner of the window, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness and attention to guest welfare is appalling.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to celebrate a birthday. Upon arrival we were checked in fairly quickly. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor and we had to walk to basically the other side of the hotel to get there and the lifts were small and a bit scary to ride in. We had two rooms and if you do not upgrade do not expect to sleep well, the bed in the standard room was very firm and springy, and the bed in the superior room was comfy, the sofa bed mattress was very thin and also not that great to sleep on. The staff gave me the wrong rooms when we first arrived as we booked a room for 3 people and when we arrived the room only had a double bed, both rooms looked the same, both standard rooms which I found strange since I upgraded one of them. I was told that there had been a mistake with the booking from Booking.com to the hotel and the staff were very unwilling to fix their mistake in the beginning. I booked a superior room for 3 people and a standard for 2. Once we were in the correct rooms, I requested to be given robes and slippers in the superior room as I had seen it advertised on their website and the hotel staff were very rude and said that they had already been generous enough to fix the mistake with the rooms and that they do not give robes and slippers to guests who booked externally and not with them, even for special events such as birthdays. I even requested to pay for the robes and they said that would not be possible. I only booked via Booking.com due to them having no availability for my requested dates on their website. I requested for the room to be decorated for a birthday prior to arriving, (I had been in contact with the hotel a couple times in the lead up to the stay), and they said yes that this was service the hotel would provide, and when I went in there to check the room on the day they had only left a decorated towel cake and elephant and a card saying welcome to the hotel (see the attached pictures), we then had to decorate the rooms ourselves. The rooms were also very hot and had no AC unit, it was honestly boiling. The hotel provides some fans but the cover fell off and it was so dusty that we decided not to turn it on. They have some channels on the Smart TV that you can watch movies and general tv however they have no apps like Netflix, Youtube and Disney + which was annoying. For the birthday dinner we decided to eat at the hotel, the starters were very good and the waiters did a very good job and were very helpful in getting mistakes fixed. The chef gave us a well done burnt steak when we requested a medium rare steak and initially refused to check the food and did not want it sent back, if it was not for the waiters we probably would have had to keep that sad dinner. We were also the only people dining at the hotel that night. The breakfast service was probably the highlight of our stay as the food was constantly replenished and was hot. The selection was also very good. Overall, the hotel was not that great at taking responsibility for their actions and we constantly had to be calling reception to give us things like towels which should have already been in the room, we probably wouldn't stay here again. However, I want to give a special shout out to Jim, Luke and their manager who helped us and thank them for really saving the night and the overall experience. What makes the experience is people, the hotel has nice gardens and a good vibe. The renovations are coming along well, unfortunately some of the staff ruin the experience due to the lack of effort in doing their job. I don't think people need to be paying extra to get basic services.
Every member of staff were so kind and helpful. The team went out of their way to help and support. The receptionist Courtney was so kind, polite and professional. The two managers Tamas and Roxanne were so helpful. The restaurant staff Beni, Nick and Bernadette served with excellent service. And Norma the housekeeping member of staff, such a lovely lady. I cannot thank everyone enough. Thank you so much for such a pleasant stay. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and never met such kind people as at The Prince Regent.
The hotel was alright overall. The location was good for our purposes as we were attending an event nearby. The room was clean enough, though the bathroom could have used a better scrub. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, with nice white linens and good pillows. I would say this Best Western is far more basic than others though, as there was no mini-fridge, ice bucket, or any extra amenities in the room. There was a kettle, with tea and instant coffee, and that's it. I don't rate the bar or restaurant, as it felt understaffed and we ended up walking away before being greeted after sitting there for a long while. The front desk staff were very friendly, but there was typically only one person there, so if you need anything, you will wait quite a while. The hotel is a big sprawling building, so you do have to walk very far and take two elevators to reach your room - just a note that might be relevant for anyone travelling with children, or a lot of luggage. I suppose it was decent value for money, but we stayed in a hotel in a trendy part of London earlier on in the week for the same price, and were far more satisfied with our stay.
Enjoyed our stay at London Chigwell Prince RegentLovely hotel, had a comfortable stay. Ipek at the front desk was warm and friendly from the time we arrived till we left. The same applies to the other staff we encountered while there. Hotel's good points: - friendly staff - clean room and very clean bathroom - decent breakfast - massive HDMI TV improvement areas: - room floors were quite creaky - no fridge. It would have been nice for such a big room we stayed in to have had one. - rooms and windows not noise-proof. Conversations of people within the premises were easily heard in my room
We had a great time. Lots of palatial gardens we got to enjoy as this was officially the start of summer. We will be back again and again.
Harvey was superb on the bar, served me and was so polite. Food was amazing 10/10 . I had a penne carbanara and it was absolutely delicious, I had a few drinks during the Europa League final which was on the TV and Harvey consistently was attentive to me and everyone else around. Thank you Harvey for your service
Newly refurb the place looks great especially walking around and seeing all the improvement, I was welcomed by reception so nice and the bar was wonderful! There is so many choices to pick from and the staff have helped me choose with my dinner what they liked.
Stayed at the hotel for a night. Good food and had a good sleep as well. I stayed in the newly refurbished room. The staff were very helpful and attentive in the restaurant. Overall a good stay and will be staying again if in the area. The menu prices were on the higher side though.
We had an emergency and then death in the family, which meant that our plans were all over the place and unpredictable. So I made several different bookings for 2 rooms as at first we were coming then going for a couple of days and coming back. We ended up staying straight through for 6 nights and the staff at reception were very accommodating, especially Courtney, putting up with my slightly manic decisions, and made sure we could stay in the same rooms the entire time. We did have a bit of an issue with some maintenance guys the first day we were there, but the hotel made up for it. Our rooms were lovely and staying there made dealing with everything we had to much more pleasant than it might have been otherwise.
Great value for money at a lovely hotel & setting. A few minor issues with the bathroom like a plug not keeping the water in and the shower door not fully closing but these did not impact my stay. Friendly staff, clean throughout and a relaxing room for a great nights sleep.
We went on a lovely travel to London to see all the new attractions around, we visited this establishment for a spot of tea, we arrived but wasn't too sure about parking and got some help which was great as our phone does not use this scan technology reception did a good job in this. We thought the tea was exceptional all round I was helped by Beni as I have a small intolerance which was nothing to serious and he got me some help with Jake who said he was the manager he went through this all seriously and helped me out even though it was not serious I appreciated the process of how important it was to them. Topped up with Prosecco all night was keeping us going and was surprised with the attention we received just like everyone in a busy football area. We will be looking forward to travelling back down to London in the near future.
I would like to say Ipek.C has amazing at the front of house reception desk, with her customer service. I was checking out and she went above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable and that everything had been sorted. Also Naiol on the Night Shift at Check In was very helpful with making sure I checked in comfortably. All staff were pleasant and very respectful including the Front of house manager Roxanne was also very hospitable.
I just want to say a huge thank you to Michelle and the whole team at Prince Regent. You guys absolutely went above and beyond to make our day the most memorable and special one. Please give a massive thanks to Tamas for being there whenever we needed him and just being so accommodating. He is a real asset to your team! My mum also wants to give a massive thanks to the staff at the restaurant too as she and my family had breakfast on the Sunday and said the team were great with the kids. We had an amazing day and couldn't have done it without you. You were the best!
This come from recommendations from my old time friends about this place and they was right from my arrival till departure everything was lovely the staff all are amazing and was a delight with my afternoon tea that I got in a very good package I definitely recommend
I come here for my work conference meeting there was just over 60 of us and it was wonderful. We had tea, coffee and shortbreads not to mention a great lunch that was enough for us all. I welcome to come back when my work book again. Thank you to all the staff that helped us through the day to make this easier.
Well …to say i am dissapointed is beyond belief we always stay at this hotel when we go into london as its convenient and always been wonderful UNTIL ….today when checking out i gave my room number etc always friendly jolly and polite like i always am to be asked if we were in seperate rooms me and my mum and i explained no to be told by the rude receptionist who checked us out this morning of room 116 that there would be an extra charge for our dog???? I explained shocked we didnt have a dog and for this receptionist really rudely to not only point and say “that lady” about my mum to be ACCUSED 3 times of having a dog and seeing her walk the dog We kindly explained it definitely was not us not once did the receptionist apologise when she realised she has the wrong person she was so rude and abrupt I definitely will not be returning and finding a new hotel for my shows i have booked in may, june and august I feel really really let down
Very welcoming at the check in, room was very good with very clean room, but there is a down side of it is a long walk to the room and will need to take two lift to reach to hotel area itself and isn't too convenience for guests as taken soo long to walk to the room. Tap on hot water is another down side which taken long to reach to the tap itself.
Unfortunately I was staying at prince regent for a funeral I was on my own in the hotel I was very much welcomed by Dani who reassured me about being there 24/7 If I need anything I was upgraded to a lovely double which was unexpected Thank you dani at prince regent Sarah davis
We would like to thank the Prince Regent Hotel's Special Events team for making our Birthday Tea Party a truly wonderful occasion. Everything was perfect. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The tables were dressed beautifully, the food was delicious and plentiful. Many of our guests commented on the superb service provided. Thank you Michelle, Roxy, Bernie, Jackie and all the Team we hope to visit the hotel again soon.
Great stay at this hotel made even better by the customer service from Dani. She was brilliant and what made this stay stand out. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was very nice, food good but not great.
This place deserves a 5 star review. I rarely write reviews but this place deserves some exceptional praise. From the moment we arrived the staff on reception were amazing , so friendly and helpful. The room was huge, clean , and bed really comfortable. The surroundings in the place are so peaceful and I can hear the birds singing From my room. We stayed 2 nights as part of business , and we ate in hotel restaurant. The food was brilliant, my husband had the burger - saying it's the best he's had. The staff in the restaurant were all so lovely and could not do enough for us. Jake the manager was lovely and let us stay in our room later the next day at a half day rate. I have to say the customer service is exceptional from all the staff including the cleaning staff . They are all so friendly . Thank you for such a lovely positive stay - would definitely recommend and would love to stay again
It was a beautiful experience, the hotel is very clean, very good food prepared by the chef Lucian, the staff are friendly at the bar, Mădălin and Jake recommended what I can eat and they were very professional, the cleaning girls are very friendly and helpful, Cătălina , Cosmina and Naz, the girl at the reception very professional and calm Ipek, without words I will come back for sure!
Nice hotel, perfect clean. Nice garden and kind staff. Highly recommend for business trips and families. The location is very convenient and the please is quiet. Enjoy the cleanliness and peace and taken care of by the wonderful staff. Thank you so much.
Was really nice. The room is clean and comfortable. We are really enjoying beautiful places the garden omg amazing nice seat on the garden enjoy the drink and the food is delicious . The cleaners all they are Friendly and help full. Easy to go there find the place. I recommend to everyone
Best hotel stay you can get, Madelin and Courtney made me most welcome and couldnt do enough for me. This is a complete change since my last stay so a lot has changed at this place. I can now highly recommend this hotel. A+
What a surprise and a great find. The hotel kerb appeal is OK, but behind the rather dated '" we buy any car" outlet is a small white door to reception. Don't let this put you off. When you have checked in, and make your way to your room, this all changes to a converted church on the outside and new build rooms on the inside. Rooms were clean. Well equipped with water and such. A large conference room is between reception and the bedrooms. With gardens outside and the other was the car park. Gardens had roses and lawns but tidy but could be made more of a feature for the hotel. Parking was fine and free, apart from. Late evening finding a space due to a function taking place, was a challenge. Breakfast took.a while to start and recommend you get down early at weekends otherwise you are waiting for a seat. Had room service ans collected from reception to avoid Tray Charge. The only two.gripes, my phone didn't work in the bedroom and no air con....
Stayed July 27th - August 9th 2023 This hotel is a diamond in the rough; you can tell that the carpets and chairs are a little worn and need updating. Hopefully, with the takeover of Best Western, these items will be taken care of, but what they lack in updating, they make up for in room quality and amenities and the warming, caring nature of the staff. Pros: * Close to public transport to the city * Close to places to eat * Clean, updated rooms * Large-sized rooms for England * Friendly, warm, caring staff * Delicious full English buffet Cons: * Carpet and chairs in hallways and common areas are run down and need updating * Numerous weddings and the wedding attendees can get loud, and the children from the weddings are running around slightly unruly.
We just wanted to say a massive thank you for helping us make our birthday special. Starting with your amazing team right through to the team who helped us on the day. You were all amazing!!! The attention to detail from the events team and communication up until the day of the event was just 10/10!!! A massive shout out to yourself, Laurel (don't think I spelt her name right) , Jake and Bernadette and of course the chef. Thank you again and we hope to be booking future events with the hotel
I was pleasantly surprised with being upgraded after arriving late in the night following a fabulous wedding. It was a very hot night so I was so pleased to see a huge fan in the wardrobe. I had complimentary soft drinks and toffees as well as the normal teas, coffees and biscuits. I slept well and I had a lovely breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly and I had a lovely stay☺️ I would definitely stay again.
My company and our employees have been staying at the hotel for over five years when we are in London. The hotel is managed very professionally, the staff are extremely helpful and in many circumstances over the years they have bent backwards to accommodate the random needs that we require, nothing has been too much for them. The hotel is set in idyllic surroundings, always keenly priced and has excellent food and a terrific breakfast. Its easy to park and perfectly situated for travel into London by metro or very close to the mororways if travelling further afield. As a business traveller for over thirty years I can thoroughly recommend this hotel for business and also for pleasure.
Wedding visit. There is no air conditioning in the rooms although there is a fan. The TV does not show channels. Spoke to other guests and they had the same issue. The water in the bathroom had 2 settings. Hot or Hotter. One of the guests were trapped in the lift and they had to call emergency services themselves as the team on duty did not prioritise the urgency. This meant that one guest had to be supported by the ambulance crew. Fire brigade freed the trapped guests but they were shook by the ordeal.
There were still toothpaste stains in the sinks when I checked in after waiting for so long to be checked in at the reception. For the money paid there wasn't much to the hotel. the quality of sleep was interrupted by the party going on down the hall an we were supposed to be in a quiet area. The lifts was musky and tiny and if you're claustrophobic then that'll be your worst night mare. The toilet kept getting blocked and there was a box of used tissues in the corner of the toilet. It was absolutely not worth the £££ we spent. I will not recommend. Although the staff are all nice and friendly the hotel standards just did not match.
An engaged hotel team welcomes you in a decent and safe suburb of London. The rooms have plenty of space and let you recover for a next day in the exciting center of London. The breakfast is of your English or continental choice.
Just spent a fabulous week. The staff, each and every one of them could not have made us feel more special. Lots of events going on which added to the fabulous atmosphere, and not disturbed by any noise, see you next year!
We normally stay here when visiting our friends . , the Party in the hotel finished at 2am , you could hear every word of every song . We were so tired we mist breakfast , not what you want when away . We went for a room with breakfast included so that money was wasted , I did moan to reception in the morning to be told ‘ well they paid extra ‘ poor customer service.
Wonderful setting near London, ideal for weddings, special events and business meetings. Staff look after you and attend to your needs. I especially enjoyed the food! Thank you to Bala the cheff for such an amazing spread of food! Our international delegates praised the kindness of their staff, thank you Doreen and Bernadett, you really know how to make people feel at home!
They are amazing from start to finish our event went smoothly. It was so stressful thinking going here for a meeting event with many people to be crowded but was very good and the suite was beautiful
We had a business seminar. It was brilliant the whole set up and then the team on the day serving up with refreshments in the hot weather then the lovely buffet! This ice cream for after was a treat in the conditions
We hosted our daughter's Asian wedding reception at Prince Regent Chigwell. The staff at Special Events team were so friendly, helpful and responsive. The venue was majestic on the day, perfect setting with plenty of car parking for our guests.Would not hesitate in recommending it as a wedding venue and will cherish fond memories made.
Excellent stay. Great location for travelling into London. Staff were really friendly and attentive. Lovely garden to enjoy a summers evening drink. Room wasn't available but we were given free dinner as compensation. Only negative is lack of air con
Good size room with modern bathroom. Everything you need for a reasonably priced room. Courtney on reception was extremely helpful and welcoming. Close to shops and restaurants so will be coming back again.
I booked a ‘Celebration of Life' with Sophie. She was extremely helpful, explaining what our options were. All arrangements were handled efficiently. The food was plentiful and many people commented on its quality. All staff on duty were polite and friendly. Very pleased.
I booked a wake and Sophie was so helpful and friendly and organised. All of the staff were absolutely lovely each time we visited and on the day. The food was very good and a lot of food for value and a great selection. The drinks are over priced over £8 for a glass of Prosecco but I would throughly recommend the venue as a booking for wakes or events. Very pleased as such.
Upon arrival they had not reserved a room for us despite me having confirmation email from them ??? After about 30 mins the manager took us to room 312 it was obvious upon entry that an odour that can only be described as sewage like permeated the room, my wife rang reception and after 15 mins the same manager arrived and moved us to room 314, upon arrival, yes you guessed it the same smell etc. The manager apologised and said she would get back to us asap with a solution, I had noticed that the hotel allowed pets to stay and in retrospect I think 312 & 314 were used for this purpose as when I picked up my jacket from the chair it was covered in hair !!! After about another 30 mins the manager arrived back and moved us to 113 which was a very nice room with no unpleasant odours. We had planned to eat at the hotels restaurant but did a quick about turn when we were confronted with a drab, dreary, dark space with no diners (unsurprisingly) despite it being 8pm prime time for dining. The staff were polite, pleasant and courteous at all times and the two young ladies at reception were sympathetic to our plight. In essence the BW Prince Regent is in dire need of modernising, a makeover is long overdue.
After an admin error at the beginning of the trip the lovely staff at reception including Ipek E. were easy to approach and very helpful! She got to resolving things quickly for my long weekend stay and was pleasant throughout. Jack F at the hotel bar was lovely during the stay serving tasty food and drinks! A little out of the city but well connected I'd happily stay here again.
We have family in Hainault and always been very loyal to this hotel for many years. After a long journey on the M25 in bad weather good to get into a clean warm room. Always good value for money and a very friendly receptionist, Ipek.c Can fully recommend it. Always good value and a great buffet breakfast.
Ipek C was absolutely wonderful. Her customer service will bring me back here again and again. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and had the room arranged at short notice. Was friendly and so willing to help. Just amazing service. Definitely recommend
Lovely hotel. We had a beautiful original stained glass window in our room. Ipek.C checked us in and she was extremely helpful and friendly. The bed was so comfortable and the water pressure was amazing - great shower. Quiet room. Lovely grounds and history. We attended an event at the hotel and all the staff were so attentive and very welcoming. A great weekend and we would stay again ❤️
On arrival a warm welcome from Ipek.C, she allowed us to settle in before going to the room and was keen on answering any questions we had. Would highly recomend this hotel, not only the staff but the hotel itself was amazazing. Cant wait to book again, hopefully the lovely Ipek. C will be present again!
On my own and needed a hotel for the weekend. The two receptionists Ipek.C and Ipek.E immediately made me feel at ease. The breakfast staff were attentive and professional and when I asked the housekeeper not to disturb me she made sure I had everything I needed. Would definitely stay again.
Comfortable big bed and lovey clean room but was blown away by the service from the two ladies at reception Ipek C & Ipek E they were both so helpful, polite and bubbly going the extra mile to make something as simple as checking in and out an enjoyable experience. Top quality service, I will defiantly be coming back in the future
Lovely hotel. Couldn't of wished for more. Staying for business. Harvey the team member in the bar/restaurant is amazing. Very knowledgeable and a great member of staff and an asset to the hotel. Food good. And room very big. Receptionist was also amazing called ipek'e also great at her job.
Thank you so much to the whole Events Team for a great job last Saturday. Seby thoroughly enjoyed his 21st birthday party & all our guests commented on what a good time they had. We really appreciate the support, organisation & service everyone involved with the night gave. Stayed at the hotel too - great breakfast & such friendly staff.
Ipeke was really helpful and helped me through out my stay i can not stress enough how kind she was and how brilliant she made my stay! - i am definitely going to be returning due to the experience i encountered on my first trip
This hotel is amazing. I would like a special thanks to go to Harvey who went the extra mile to make us all feel comfortable. He managed the bar and hospitality so calmly and always with a smile. I would come back and advise all to experience such a homely yet entertaining stay.
I've started a new job where I'm learning new experiences so everything is all new for me to travel and these guys and girls at the Prince regent made it feel like home from reception to the hotel room it's self not forgetting the bar services they was amazing Hope to be back to see these guys soon thanks for looking after us all 410
We have been staying here for our last 2 weeks and it's been amazing the service we received is why our company must always come here Jake,Harvey,Ipek E and Veronika are amazing at what they do especially Jake he is a top lad.
Very clean rooms and the sevice from the staff was second to none, any problems or queries they where very helpful and always made sure the situation was fixed couldn't fault the place or staff in the slightest
Lovely hotel, would recommend to anyone. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful when required. Its a quiet hotel with lovely decorations inside. Food is incredible and there is a wide variety of food for all taste buds.
Great staff here at Chigwell, lovely venue and all the staff are friendly. Clean and nice rooms along with great customer service. The Biscoffs are a bonus in the room too, nice touch for the great price they put the rooms at.
We were guests at a wedding and warned to give our details. We saw other guests putting their car details into a screen near the hotel entrance in the car park and so did the same. It then charged me £10 to stay for the afternoon and evening. There are no signs telling you not to pay if you are a guest or attending an event. In fact there can be no valid reason for anyone booking into the screen if they are neither of these things. When I spoke to the receptionist she didn't seem to care and when I asked for details to contact a manager she called out her manager who showed an equal lack of interest in helping. It is clear that this happens a lot as they brushed it off. I get that they demonstrated no service skills. I would never stay in this hotel.
I recently had the pleasure of using this hotel for a few nights. The room was exceptionally clean and the food was flavoursome. Most of all, the staff were mega friendly and were supportive throughout the stay. Thank you Naz, Anca, Denise, Jackie, Roxanne, Courtney, Veronica, Karin, Ipek C, Ipek E and Avik. I will most certainly be using your services again. Wishing you all a very Prosperous 2023.
We are really happy with the service we received from Karin and the team! We held a Walima event for 250 people and all went very well with the venue. Karin was always friendly and quick at answering questions and did what she could to meet our requests. Our guests were treated well (a small number stayed at the hotel). Friendly reception staff supported those who needed help with the parking app. My family and I are really grateful for how easy they made it for us and whole-heartedly recommend London Chigwell as a place to hold an event.
Nice and friendly staff, clean environment Food is excellent and everything thing about this place is brilliant, will definitely recommend around Chigwell. With some complimentary drinks, this is worth it
I had a lovely conversation with Ipek.C who helped me with my query today. I must say that her professionalism and kindness was warming and recommend staying at the hotel. Looking forward to stay here more often Thank you Ipek.C
We were in London this December 2022 and stayed in the Prince Regent hotel Chigwell. Very lovely and beautiful. We were immediately attended to by Miss Ipek C who was so friendly and displayed excellent customer centric skills. She was very approachable and assisted us with great information about the neighbourhood and things to do. Our stay was made easy by all her efforts. The hotel was clean. Room was big enough. Food at the restaurant was superb. We will surely recommend this hotel and I say a big thank you to Miss Ipek C. She is a great asset to the establishment.
Jack and Reese were very nice and welcoming gentlemen that helped with my stay and made sure everything went well from the place I stayed to the breakfast I had in the morning so thanks for a overall great stay.
I have now been staying at the Prince Regent hotel for nearly 18 months since my flat was flooded in July 2021 and I had to move out .. I dreaded the thought, but must say I have loved every minute of staying here! I can't tell you how friendly the staff have been, looking after me from day one! In fact, when it is time for me to leave and go back to my flat, I may not want to leave! I cannot praise them enough, all of them deserve a mention, and a medal! I just hope I haven't forgotten anyone! Firstly the Manager, Avik, then.. in alphabetical order.. Ali.. Anca .. Angela.. Bennie .. Bernie .. Catalina .. Courtney .. Darren .. Denisa .. Denise .. Gladys .. Harvey .. Hafsah .. Ipek E ., Ipek C .. Jack .. Jackie .. Jake .. Jason .. Karin .. Lucian .. Liliana .. Michelle .. Mitchell.. Monika .. Naz .. Nick .. Nicole .. Norma .. Oana .. Ramona .. Reece .. Roxanne .. Sharon .. Sophie .. Trisha .. Veronica and .. finally .. Vijay … All I can say, to finish.. I certainly will not be getting the wonderful service when I do go home, and so I may have to kidnap one or two before I leave!! Well done everyone…. Love Elsa
I went there with my partner, a nice place to stay. Best customer service. Delicious breakfast and very clean rooms, reception girl really friendly. Housekeeping do they're job perfectly. Our room was spotless.
I stay here a lot when I work away it is my go to place. The stuff here is fantastic and I am always looked after. I would like to give a special thanks to Veronica she always goes out of her way to make sure me and my stuff are welcome.
I stayed here for a work and honestly couldn't fault it for the price. The King size bed was comfortable and warm, room was spacious, free bottled water, a lovely bath, soft towels, beautiful smelling complimentary bath products, lots of info in the room. Slept well which is rare in a hotel for me. Great location too. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, particularly the breakfast room staff. The breakfast itself was absolutely lovely! Everything fresh and hot, good stock of all items, Full English buffet style, but also juices, fruit, pastries, vegan options too! Even the coffee was lovely.
I celebrated a milestone birthday with family and friends in the Princess suite on Sunday, 28th November 2022, and the service was exceptional, I could not have asked for more, it was truly first class and we all had a fabulous, time, I am beyond blessed. Through all the changes (due to illnesses) including the change of date, I have never felt more supported by such an amazing team; there was never a moment where I felt I was inconveniencing the team, in fact it was the opposite, everyone went above and beyond to make sure that my 60th birthday celebration went as seamless as possible, which superseded my expectation and for that I am truly thankful. Leading up to the event, I worked with Oana and Michelle who were perfect, I could not have asked for a more attentive, caring professional Manager and Coordinator, thank you both for everything. I must say congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to Chef for an incredible 3 course menu and a first class presentation, it was everything we discussed and more; there were so many compliments about the meal, Chef really, outdid himself. Even though the entire team are wonderful there were some stand outs that I must mention; Nicole who greeted us when we checked in on the Saturday, made us feel so welcomed. Our bedrooms were warm, cosy, spacious and very clean. The breakfast was very good, and lots to choose from, thank you Gladys. Jack a wonderful young man with an amazing heart of service, is quite the ambassador for the hotel; quite a few of my guests mentioned that they were very impressed with him. Jack even found the wallet of one of my guests and handed it in, my guest is so very grateful to Jack. Doreen, Jackie and Trish went above and beyond from the set -up to the serving of dinner, they were such a delight, they all have this way of making you feel like family, they were loved by all my guests. Mitch, a lovely young man who adjusted the table set up according to my instructions without complaint. Roxy who helped with the finishing touches, The Princess suite is a stunning room, with glimmering chandeliers, which oozes class, luxury and elegance when decorated in the right way, which was done to perfection by the amazing Filiz ( Pearls Florist) and her team and assisted by Debbie from ICE Thank you all; the evening was a great success thanks to the efforts of all the staff involved, they have that special ingredients of making you feel like family and being professional at the same time and who are without a doubt an exceptional team! If you are looking for a hotel, to host your special event and look after you and your guests in style and warmth, look no further. I highly recommend the London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel.
Just returned after a 3 night stay with my dog. My room was clean and comfortable. All the staff I had dealings with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice, as did the restaurant menu. Food was well presented and tasty. Despite there being several functions on during my stay I was not disturbed by any noise from them. Having no complaints I shall be returning for another stay in January.
I have just arrived here and had not eaten all day so headed straight to the restaurant, the service I recieved from one employee was exceptional...he was friendly, ensured I was looked after and was just so professional yet happy and friendly. I don't normally write reviews but Jack is one in a million. There also was limited room in the carpark, the staff on reception went out of their way for me and ensured my van was securely parked. Thank you so much.
Staff were less than helpful after the incident. No offer of getting cctv checked, just suggested I park at the rear of the property after the incident. As there had been break-ins before (not mentioned on arrival) no offer to help me clean the mess the thrives left. Were more interested in proclaiming they held no liability rather than check if I was okay.
Great welcoming place to stay. Value for money with very friendly staff. I always stay here when visiting family and friends and the lovely ladies who run the breakfast service are great. The evening bar staff were also superb.
I stayed for four nights whilst visiting friends in London. I had a lovely comfortable stay. My room was really great. Clean comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was amazing, everything you could ever want or need. The breakfast room staff Doreen and Bernadette were so lovely and helpful. I felt like I was with family. The bar and restaurant staff were all great, so helpful and so kind. I will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
Wedding booked in Regency Suite. Good space reasonably priced with excellent accessible, helpful meeting and events coordinator - Karin. Very accomodating and flexible. Personal touch, friendly and caring. Stayed in good rooms for two nights.
This hotel is functional at best. It is clearly used for a large number of events. This means people return from their functions all through the night, chatting loudly and slamming doors. Not commensurate with a good night's sleep.
We were at the hotel for 1 night, most things were good, the only small 2 things that were not so good was a high step to go into the toilet/shower room (room 408), and for me there was not a good bitter on tap at the bar, the only one that they did have was an IPA but when that one was pulled up it was cloudy and did not taste or smell as it should so I had to have a pint of lager, apart from these 2 things all was good.
My neice's wedding was held at the hotel on 1st October 2022. We stayed for two nights. The receptionist was so helpful Ipek C was her name, she always had a smile on her face. The bar staff were equally friendly as were the banqueting staff. Great food and service all round. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great variety at breakfast
Restaurant booking and overnight stay to celebrate 2 milestone birthdays Our rooms were modern well decorated with good quality beds linen and spotlessly clean a great walk in shower with an excellent range of toiletries Special mention to Sophie Meeting and Events co-ordinator for her professionalism and patience Chef produced a fabulous 3 course meal with food choices made in advance of the night Restaurant staff on the night managed by Bernadette who was exceptional Each guest was served with their choice of starter main and desert with quiet efficiency plates cleared wine toasts and the all important photos seamlessly undertaken The evening was a great success thanks to the efforts of all staff involved especially as the hotel was also managing a large wedding party at the same time !
We recently had a traditional Nigerian wedding party (Urhobo wedding & Reception) in the Princess Regency Suite. This took about 3 months to plan from start till the wedding day. We found all the staff we dealt with were very friendly. In particular I worked extremely well with Michelle, the Event Manager in charge of the wedding. She is the ultimate professional. She was very helpful and accommodating, and tried her best to meet all our needs. I had the opportunity to visit the venue multiple of times with a number of the wedding vendors and felt she was very understanding. She is also very hands on in terms of offering practical advice and recommending external vendors who work closely with the hotel. She recommended Debbie of Ice Events for the decoration, what a lady. All she wanted was the very best for us, her passion is infectious and she does not stop or rest until she gives you nothing but the best. The venue is stunning and boasts of a luxurious theme, from the lovely chandeliers in the room we used, to a scenic view from the rotunda, if you are looking for a touch of class…look no further. Some of the wedding party guests stayed at the hotel. The rooms are a decent size, and the bathroom was very clean. Cozy and comfy are the words that come to mind. The only drawback are the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which is needed during the hot summer months. The flexibility to dry hire this venue is a great selling point. As it comes with the option of using the hotel's catering or bringing in an external caterer. I opted to hire an external caterer, who found the kitchen facilities more than adequate to meet their requirements. We also had the use of the bar on dry hire and were impressed with the number chillers available to use, with free ice on demand if you ask the staff nicely. I highly recommend this hotel for weddings and special occasions if you're looking for, a place which oozes class, friendly staff and reasonably priced.
The hotel was highly recommended to myself and my sister. We arrived a little early as we where attending a funeral early afternoon. I have to say the receptionist Courtney was so helpful, understanding and made our visit seemless. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a few cocktails. Delightful. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful grounds with seating. We look forward to another visit. Regards Elaine and Cherice
Booked for one night. Nice building and garden. Dinner and wine were good. Staff very friendly. Very difficult to get wifi and the TV in the room wouldn't work because of the wifi issue. There were 3 weddings, so perhaps it needs to be 'beefed up' to cope with heavy demand. Executive room was good, but a little more attention to detail in cleaning is needed in the bathroom (hairs on the floor, grubby door) but OK for one night. Breakfast OK, more non-meat options (ie veggie sausages) would make it better. Comfy bed, but noise from carpark directly outside was unexpected for the high price an exec room.
Room was very clean and well cleaned Staff very attentive and welcoming. Housekeeping staff were amazing, Very busy hotel but are always helpful Grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well kept All the staff are very friendly
Hotel was amazeing food was too class served by Harvey almost every night of my stay guy is a legend allways nice and polite and could answer any of the questions I raised whilst in the bar/restaurant overall had a epic time at the London Chigwell regent
Fantastic wedding Venue for my daughter's wedding, spacious and comfortable accommodation for our guests and the couple. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel with very professional and friendly staff. will definitely recommend Prince Regent for any Function venue/
Enjoyed my stay! The team is lovely and goes above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. I strongly recommend the hotel! The team makes you feel at home, when away from home! True hospitality! Prince Regent team well done! You made my stay unforgettable! You are my first choice of hotel when coming to London!
Unfortunately due to an ongoing divorce I have had to stay at the hotel quite a bit and I have to say that the hotel staff have been absolutely lovely in looking after me during a very difficult time. The reception team in particular have been very understanding and really helped me. whether it be pouring my heart out or needing local information- the staff have been really lovely and accommodating. All the reception team have been amazing- I'm pretty sure I have had help or a conversation with all of them at one point or another. Shelly and Sofia (really sorry not noticed everyone else's names) have been kind and often ask me how I am- knowing how upset I have been. I have on more than one occasion felt really low and they have cheered me up.
Have only recently arrived, but the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff, especially Sofia who was extremely helpful and polite, have been great. Restaurant menu looks good too! Thanks for the help, Jack
I cannot thank the staff at hotel enough who help ensure that our 3-day conference runs without a hitch. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and our guests thoroughly enjoy the conference. We look forward to being back in 2023.
We had a fantastic experience right from the start to end all staff was very helpful and also got involved with giving ideas and help every step we took I would 100% book my next event with this venue again Thank you all for the kindness and help
Amazing good hotel and great service . Staff was very good Outdoor garden place was good for my family to spend in the afternoon, specially my little daughter.Hotel should have centralised AC . Food was good
I have now completed a year stay at the Chigwell Prince Regent, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The staff are very friendly and helpful as I am a solo elderly guest of 78 years young. The reception Shelley and Courtney are so so warm welcoming and very willing to always go above and beyond. The house keeping team are always making sure my room is clean and comfortable and the breakfast ladies and Nick are always on hand to deliver a lovely breakfast. Jake thank you for always looking out for me. Thank you Prince Regent for having me for the last year it's been memorable. Love Elsa
The staff were frendly and the conference and exhibition we were organisihg at the venue ran smoothly. Veronica did a great job and understood the needs at an event Lunch in the exhibition was ok , but may need lables on table for Vegitarian and Gluton free etc,. Needed more glasses and water refills on conference tables We have beeb doing this event annually for several years and this years was the best yet
The receptionist was not welcoming in fact quite the opposite. it felt as if she was doing me the paying guest a favour. it also seemed like she was annoyed that we used Booking.com as a avenue to book with rather than book with the hotel direct, when in fact if it wasn't for booking.com my company would never had heard of this hotel. She was very snappy when I asked for the pin for parking. I asked for the pin and she told me "hun its right in front of your face". Her attitude was disgraceful. Her name was shelley. When I asked her originally she didn't want to tell me but when I asked a different member of staff I was told. it lacked any form of customer care. The barman looks like he wanted to be anywhere else but there. his service was shocking . Rather than up sell he could only explain what was wrong on the day due to a wedding taking place.
Stayed recently, when the priority seemed to be the 3 weddings that were going on at the same time. Went down for dinner and was told the restuarant was open until 9-0 pm. Went in and waited for someone to come and see me, But no one did. Spoke to the Barman who was clearing up a load of glasses from an outside wedding, who then went and told me that it was not open due to the Chef being at a Wedding somewhere else on site Reception were not aware of this.. No air conditioning put in a room with no windows that opened. Gave me two fans but they were domestic so made very little difference. Finally my grandson was charged £7-50 for 3 bottles of water earlier, but |I purchased 4 for a pound each from reception later. Chaos when checking out, Some people charged for parking and others not plus other issues Very disappointing
I was welcomed by this lovely lady named Naomi. She was very friendly and never showed irritation as I kept going back down to reception for different things. The room was a lovely size, I LOVED the over sized bedroom chair. It was so cozy. The bar staff looked scruffy but their attitude was brilliant. Special thanks to Ipek. I would defiantly come again. The only downfall was there is no air con in the room. Very disappointing.
We got married at the Prince Regent Hotel. We had a guest list of max 45 and many other venues had a minimum guest number above this. The Prince Regent had everything we wanted for our special day - outdoor ceremony seating, indoor evening reception. Beautiful garden area for reception drinks and photos. Accommodation for bride and groom and for guests if they choose. Food was delicious and anything you want just ask. Our special thanks again to the Events Team Oana, Michelle, Karin, Sophie, Veronica. We are always made welcome. The decor/flowers in the suite were stunning. A very big special thanks to Jake - done my aisle music for me start/switch/stop. Perfectly. My guests all had a wonderful day.
The hotel is easily accessible from the motorway. The building has a character but looks tired. Rooms are comfortable with modern bathrooms but have no airconditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I had a booking for eight people for afternoon tea today. Booking was very easy. The staff were friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty for everyone (finger sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea and/or coffee) and the price was very reasonable. All was delicious. We were not rushed and we thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon for my Mum's special birthday celebration. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again. Thank you.
We are from Malaga and stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for a 75th birthday celebration. When we arrived there were 2 weddings and a 60th birthday party going on but the staff were amazing. Shelly was brilliant as we had asked her to sort some stuff for us before we arrived, everything went really smoothly. Harvey and Jack H looked after us for dinner in the Brasserie and the food was lovely, huge portions thought! Bernadette set up the room for the celebratory afternoon tea, again helping out with a couple of special requests we had. Was disappointed not to have the room serviced during our stay and the room we were in was in much need of some tlc. Please lose the shower curtain - nightmare lol
I need to visit London on a regular basis. London Chigwell is ideally located for me - proximity to M25 makes it easy for me to get to the Hotel and excellent connectivity to Central London works like a charm for me to be in the city for early morning meetings! Being a frequent visitor I have experienced a breadth of their room offerings - The Deluxe Suite is definitely highly recommended. I am truly taken away by their breakfast options - I am highly appreciative of their fresh fruits and breadth of choices in cereals and hot porridge. I am spoilt by options. After a busy day in the city I come back to an excellently laid out bed - Kudos to the housekeeping team! Finally, always welcoming front office team - thanks for welcoming me with a smile at my late check-ins. London Chigwell, you have my loyalty for sure. Highly recommended.
Stayed for a few days and the staff could not have been more helpful, especially Naomi who went out of her way to make our stay, and further travel plans as stress free as possible. Keep up the good work.
Had my fathers celebration of life ceremony the venue and staff was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating to all of our needs, The venue was very nice good car parking. I will book the venue again
They are False Advertising. THEY STATE 24 hour room service which they dont. They dont even do room service. THE entire Best Western Group ceased to provide room service over a month ago according to the Assistant Manager at this Hotel, yet a month down the line their website still states they provide this service and have to as a listed 4 star hotel which is part of the minimum requirements to achieve this star rating. So not only is the Hotel false advertising, the entire Best Western Hotel Group are and they have failed to inform Booking.com of this situation who have clarified this morning, they are unaware of the situation and the Hotel and Group have not informed them of any such changes ...... Bad ... Very Bad. Which is why I have applied for a full refund and will be informing Trading Standards and also The Advertising Authorities of the clear Breach in their Advertising Policy to entice customers to stay at this facility under false offerings.
Enjoyed my experience at this hotel made possible by the service given to me by Harvey in the restaurant and the bar. He was very attentive, service was very quick and very efficient. Very very very good.
Although some way from reception, we had a lovely spacious room that was immediately close to the lift - not that we heard it. The receptionist, Shelley, was most helpful, cheerful and welcoming, finding a willing smiling helper to see the dog's bed and a case whisked off to the bedroom. Car parking was arranged in no time and most conveniently for our purposes with no anxiety about security. Traffic can be heavy in the area, but visibility, access and exit from the very wide part of the Manor Road made it very easy and safe. We were out for a dinner at Chigwell Golf Club, very close by, in this remarkably green part of the world providing numerous excellent walks. (Lovely sized quiet well tended hotel garden and large lawn too) All too soon it was time for breakfast, where Nick greeted us and treated us royally without any feeling of over-interference. We were soon on our way having had a very pleasant stay with an almost family feeling of welcome, goodbye ... and come back soon! Reply, Reply all or Forward
The hotel is beautiful but this is a facade as staff can be rude, cutlery in restaurant is dirty and I found a man asleep in my room in the middle of the night because staff gave him a key without checking if it was his room.
Attended a wedding yesterday and had a lovely experience. The events team were great and so was the evening receptionist. We requested for a room move and it was done straight away. Breakfast was good but could do with more choices. Overall good experience and would be back. Highly recommended.
Understaffed, dirty, overall poor don't know where to begin but there needs to be improvement in cleaning and noise were high as housekeeping knocks at 9am to say she will be back later. Why not not at 11am when it's checkout time when you weren't able to check in until 3.45pm!
Great location particularly for those needing to visit London both for Business or social. Good accommodation, excellent Broadband, free car park. Good options in the included breakfast. Good options for dinner. Close to tube station. Can't ask for more.
Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, very helpful and professional staff. Ideal for visiting Woodford Green and Chigwell area. Excellent buffet breakfast. Located opposite beautiful green, and close to shops, restaurants and takeaways.
Only live up the road and never really use the hotel. Seminar today and good location easy parking and excellent service on reception. Interesting lunch break however asked for pint of guiness to be asked what is guiness I am new. Asked for large glass of red wine at which barmaid disappeared leaving me at the bar. Short walk to pub opposite and will continue not to use hotel for future social activities .
Nice hotel with good polite staff price is for room only and if you don't book through their website you will have to pay parking. Restaurant poor with pretty average food at extortionate prices, also buffet style breakfast at £15 95 which is ridiculous when you can get a proper all day full English for £6. I do stay at this hotel regularly but i have finished eating there because of cost. Shame really.
Really nice hotel and it was a great room. The staff were really lovely and very happy and helpful. Have stayed here a few times and will again. Has a really nice bar and the breakfast was pretty good. Like I said, we'll definitely be staying again. Thank you.
Would just like to thank Shelly on reception gor her hospitality and overal service when checking in on Sunday and when checking out. Also her colleague this morning in regards to checking out later due to my plans not going exactly as they should. Great hotel and the hospitality industry needs more Shellys in this world. Big thumbs up from me.
Terrible customer service- we booked this hotel for our wedding night and mentioned in the booking comments that it was our wedding night and therefore we would be checking in very late. To be fair to them they did allow us to do this. However on the MORNING of our wedding (literally 1 hour before our ceremony) they called up my husband to be, to inform us that they could no longer honour our booking. It was our wedding night! They were not remotely apologetic and curt when he explained the context of the booking. They did resolve the matter however when we rang up to confirm later that day that everything was sorted they were very abrupt and were not reassuring and put the phone down on him. The room was very average and small but we did have a nice breakfast in bed the next day.
Prince regent hotel in Chigwell, I was a guest here on Saturday. There was loads of parking space and also had good access for people with mobility difficulties(lifts and ramps available) The hotel facilities and staff were wonderful and friendly The princess suite is a lovely place for parties and dining. And the overall experience was pleasant. I'd recommend visiting here if you're in the Chigwell area, I'm sure they'll be able to cater for all or near all of your requests.
What an exceptional place this is Firstly I couldn't rate enough the friendly staff here so helpful politely and welcoming so thank you Also the cleanliness was top marks for will definitely be visiting again we loved it well done and thank you to all the staff there ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We held a triple celebration at the hotel just before Christmas & despite the extremely trying situation the hotel staff did a fantastic job of making it a night to remember. A huge thank you to Oana, Karin, Sophie & all the team. Many of us stayed the night in the hotel & everyone was very happy with their rooms. Breakfast on Sunday morning was good - plenty of choice & the breakfast staff are absolutely lovely! Would definitely use the hotel again for another function.
The hotel was clean nice room very nice large flatscreen TV which was a good size for the room . The check in and out was very swift and the staff were very helpfully going above and beyond to help the guests
I really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this hotel. As my partner and I were celebrating, I had made a special request for a bottle of bubbly in our suite, which was provided. The room was spacious and clean and the freestanding bath was a nice feature, as well as a modern shower. There was a fridge in the room and plenty of sockets etc to make it practical. The friendly, professional receptionist checked us in early and was very helpful and informative. We had drinks in the bar both evenings, served by efficient staff and breakfast was enjoyable too. Free on site parking was a massive bonus and, staying in hotels around the country several times a year, I am always very grateful of this rarity nowadays. The location of the hotel is handy for getting into central London, as well as right next to the M11 so easy to access. If I had to be nitpicky, I would say the overall decor of the hotel would benefit from a freshen up and some modernisation but, for the price we paid, I was happy. Dressing gowns and slippers in the suite would have been a nice touch but, again, it wouldn't stop me from staying here again. Thanks to all the hardworking staff at this hotel.
Check in was hectic. We were there for a wedding so there were a few people checking in with the same surnames with different rooms and mistakes were made. I upgraded my room and I didn't have a safe yet my daughter who didn't upgrade had one. I couldn't see the difference between our rooms except we had a shower instead of a bath. A waste of £50 for the upgrade.
Fabulous hotel. Stayed in the single room which was still very large, clean, mod cons and very comfortable. Great staff all-round, including Reece and Harvey in the bar. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Looked good as I first opened the door, but when I actually walked in and looked around it was shocking. I'm really not a fussy person by any means and I never complain, and I know you can't help Mother Nature, however I counted at least 6 spiders in the bathroom and flies just out in plain sight. Being terribly scared of spiders I felt uncomfortable the entire night and couldn't even use the shower. Hardly slept as there was a constant screeching noise that didn't stop, the room was absolutely freezing with no working radiator, cobwebs in the lightshade (which is right above the bed) and was just generally dirty - bed was the only clean thing. The pillows were just ridiculously uncomfortable, just to add salt to the wound. The state of the tv remote was shocking! Brown gunge and hair, I dread to think what it actually was. Safe to say the tv had to stay off as I didn't dare touch the controller. I really don't mean to be a moan, but it really was not worth the money at all, I'm furious that I paid. I stayed for business and it was really important I had a good rest, however I honestly had the worst night ever with no sleep, it was too late to book another hotel, was so close to sleeping in my car if I'm honest. Without sounding dramatic it was probably one of the worst hotel rooms I've stayed in, and it cost me £95?
There was no denying the Prince Regent was suffering the equivalent of a bad hair weekend. The hotel was busy, reception staff were being driven to distraction, and try as we might to avoid it being so, we found it all a bit fraught! Now I appreciate the ramifications from both Brexit and Covid are causing problems in the hospitality industry, but it is up to hotels such as Best Western Chigwell to be masters of their own comeback, their destiny and ultimately their survival. Not only are they well known as a hotel group, but they are part of the American Best Western Hotels and Resorts brand, which is licensed to over 4,700 hotels worldwide and should know what it is doing, especially as it purports to be one of the Signature Brand hotels! Put it this way, it didn't stand up to the Riu Gresham Hotel in the centre of Dublin which we stayed in 5 weeks prior which has one more star (4) and cost us £10 less! The hotel room demand is back in the UK, and yes, the industry has been very hard-hit, but the here and now has to be looked after and brought into firm check. We were there for a 2-night stay, and what made life difficult for us from the start was that the room credit-card style door-key system wasn't working (not just for us, but across the hotel). Because we were staying for a family celebration locally, going from and to our room, to our event destination, as well as to our 'in-laws' to be house in preparation for the evening, it meant we had to get someone from reception to let us into our room each and every time, which I have to say, was a bit of a chore for both sides and rather waring to say the least. However, the staff were very accommodating for what must have been a very irritating thing for them to have to do all the time with all the rooms. Unfortunately, however, the lack of room key was compounded by other aspects which seemed to be amiss somewhat during the weekend. While I appreciate, yes, it wasn't the Dorchester at £1990 for two nights, these hiccoughs at the Prince Regent were nevertheless unexpected for what was a £100+ per night 'Signature' stay! We were informed that we were on a bed-only basis, despite having booked bed and breakfast (we had booked quite a while back and I had forgotten for the package I had chosen that breakfast was included!). There were no tissues in the room. There were no individual toiletries (there were, however, two press-top soap dispensers, one in the shower and one above the sink, the sink which we had to clean before use). We also had a wasps' next in very near proximity to our window which meant we couldn't open it as they (the wasps!) kept ‘visiting' us, something I would have thought previous occupants would have picked up on during past months and reported. We also had two very thoughtless (ignorant actually) neighbouring rooms who interacted with late night staff rather noisily to explain their problems (similar to ours), but you don't do this at 1.45am when others (us and my daughter in a room nearby included!) were trying to sleep. In fairness, the thoughtlessness of these guests was not the fault of the hotel, but then I think it would have been quite in order for the staff to point out to them (i.e. telling them to shut it) their ignorant loudness at that time of the morning might have woken (as it did us) other nearby guests. We got back to our room (as mentioned, we needed a staff member to accompany and let us in) on the Saturday to freshen up and get changed for our own event to find it hadn't been cleaned, the bed hadn't been made nor had the coffee/tea making products been replaced. We were informed when inquiring about this at reception that because of Covid they were operating a “room-valet by request only” service for guests staying longer than a day (we had not been told this during check-in and Covid certainly didn't appear to be having an adverse effect on the hotel guests and other activities at large – an evening event was being held on both Friday and Saturday nights!). The hotel also wanted an overnight car parking fee (admittedly via our booking.com arrangement, which they very kindly waived when I pointed out quite strongly we were room-paying guests and that I was somewhat annoyed at not being told that implicitly by booking.com!). In fairness to the hotel reception folk, they did do their best. However, there were all the other guests (many from our own party – we had taken around 12 rooms between us) having problems of their own, which should not have been the case. It was somewhat ironic that were were offered complimentary breakfast on the Sunday, which, seeing we were on a B&B basis anyway, the hotel should have known it had been paid for in advance! That having been said, I was on an early start and had partaken of breakfast on the Sunday with my relative who needed to be back at the thoroughly appalling Cash Cow, er, I mean Stansted Airport at too-early o'clock. I do have to give 11 out of 10 to the lovely Doreen and her colleague who were on breakfast duty. It was the high point of our hotel stay, especially as the staff took the increase in breakfasts required (from 55 ordered to 85 needing to be provided as a result of high occupancy) in their stride. How they could be so cheerful and happy when some of the other guests (not in our party I might add!) had been positively rude to them was a testament to their professionalism at being on service from 6.30 to whenever breakfast finished. As we departed, we were honourably asked by the reception manageress if we wanted to raise a formal complaint, and despite our annoyance and the fact our stay had indeed been well and truly marred, we felt that because the staff were trying so hard, we declined to do so. We took the attitude that it was better to inform them so that they knew of the problems we encountered so they could fix them, rather than us just simply complain. As the "icing" on the cake, I arrived back home to find I had been charged twice for our stay, but in fairness, as I post this, the duty manageress is in the process of sorting it out. We will be visiting Chigwell again (our new in-laws to be live just outside the town centre), and I would like to think we might give the hotel a second chance.
I booked a Superior Family room for me and my sisters/briesmaids the night before my wedding. I had the room booked for 2 nights (staying with my husband on the second night). I chose the option to pay at the venue. As it was my wedding (at nearby Chigwell Hall), obviously lots of family members were in the same hotel. Simple. Well not at this hotel. They do not seem to grasp how to check first and last names, or even a booking reference. My sister-in-law booked a slightly smaller room for her and her two children for one night- that was paid upfront online. She called a week before to extend her stay by one night and was told that extra night would be added to her booking and she could pay upon check in. However, upon check in, the person working gave my sister-in-law MY hotel room (a slightly bigger type of room) and made her pay for my room (i.e. paying for 2 nights rather than just the one addtional). A few hours later (at 8.40pm) I arrived with all my luggage in tow to be told I had already checked in and been given a key. A different worker called my sister-in-law down from her room at 9pm to stand there while he tried to figure out a solution to his colleagues mistake. We asked to simply switch rooms as I needed the larger room for my wedding dress and getting ready in the morning. We were told the room my sister-in-law had booked was not big enough for 3 people even though her booking clearly stated how many people were staying. We were also told the hotel was fully booked so she could not move to a bigger room or rent an additional room. We decided to ask one of my sisters to share a bed with one of my best friends so no one got sent home in the middle of the night. After AN HOUR of waiting for the worker to figure this all out, we finally swapped rooms only to realise the room my sister-in-law had booked was in fact large enough for 3 people!!!! The occurrence of people being given the wrong rooms is not a one off. While I was enduring my one hour check in experience, my parents attempted to check in only to have my siblings room card thrust in their face. My parents had paid extra for a specific room. They had to repeatedly explain that although they share the same surname as their child (who is a grown adult by the way), they do have two separate bookings and also booked two different types of room. The room was spacious enough but was not cleaned after my sister-in-law and the children moved to a different room. Additionally there was no record of the extra night my sister-in-law had requested and no further availability for booking at the last minute, so she had to leave my wedding reception early to drive home. One of my bridesmaids insisted on some type of compensation and we were given a complimentary breakfast for the duration of our stay, although there was no note of this on my second night so I had to ask again. Conclusion: staff incompetence is high, you might want to consider educating your staff on how to check a booking or people's ID before checking them in. It would also be great if staff understood the types of room you provide. Good luck if you stay here and have a common surname.
It was my first night after the long day of wedding and when we arrived in the hotel we both were very tired and want some rest but their was no heating in the room, no hot water in the room, all the plumbing was broken and no water
We were given room 209 I think this correct- if you are given this room ask for another 1 as it an awful room and the other rooms are better. We booked 2 rooms as we went with friends they were given a decent room and we were given the end room in theconverted church! There is a broken stainglass window held together with duck tape, stains on the carpet, terrible lighting, no mirror, it was nothing like our friends room!! As soon as we went to the reception to complain, we didn't need to even say anything so we think they know the room is awful but still put people in it.
Lovely looking hotel but let down by a few small things: 1 Room carpet in need of a deep clean (very dirty!) 2 Toilet smelt of stale urine 3 Grout around shower tiles black with mould 4 Wardrobe shelves thick with dust However, all of the staff we met very very friendly. Just put the few small things right & it will make a great difference & I would gladly stay again.
We called weeks in advance to ensure we had early check in but when we arrived at the hotel we were made to wait in reception for an hour despite them saying our room would be ready in 15 minutes. We were made to get ready in reception and as a result we missed the wedding ceremony we were meant to attend. Absolutely disgraceful, would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you're thinking of booking, don't bother :)
We found ourselves staying at this local hotel by necessity after our home flooded. We booked an Executive room and were pleasantly surprised by the large well appointed space and modern bathroom. The room was located in the converted Chapel and had interesting features of original windows and pillar within. A large superking size comfortable bed, two armchairs and side table, desk/dressing table, large mirror with ironing board and iron, double wardrobe with shelves and tea and coffee making facilities. Room has a fan and hairdryer provided. They are still using paper cups and plastic single use wrapped drinking glasses. Not entirely sure this is still necessary. The bathroom contains a really powerful large rainfall walk in shower with nice quality toiletries. Better to book direct with Best Western as then car parking is free. If you book elsewhere you need to pay £5 per 24 hours to park. The staff have been without fail outstanding. Both friendly, efficient and knowledgable. Only a couple of areas where I feel improvements could be made. The breakfast provided wasn't great. Over 6 days stay fried eggs were oily, hard and looked like they had been sitting a long time. Beans were congealed. Sausages were bland. Would have liked to have been able to have boiled eggs. Other provisions were cereal, juice, yogurt, croissants and compote. Quite basic but staff at breakfast were just lovely! Pleasure to see them each morning. To be honest you're better off to walk the 5 mins to the local Costa coffee instead. Secondly there are some areas of maintenance I would have expected to be better looked after. The toilet roll holder was broken. This should have been noticed and fixed when staff cleaned the room. The toilet seat was very loose and should have been noticed whilst being cleaned. The desk chair was broken but this was immediately replaced on mentioning to reception. Excellent communication and provided within 5 minutes of asking. All together this was a very good experience and I would return here or recommend to friends and family
I stayed in the family room, rate £149 per night as my family member got married there. For that money, I expected a decent weekends stay. Firstly there are 2 windows, one which you slide open for air and then another on the outer part of the building - absolutely horrid. They look like they haven't been cleaned in years. There are spiders living in the gap. Secondly, my remote for my tv didn't work & thirdly, they have bolted the water temperature that you are not able to make it warmer or cooler. During the shower, your water temperature fluctuates from really hot to a decent temperature which is not ideal for children as when it gets hot it's not suitable for children. Considering it's a family room - you would have thought they would have thought about that. Lastly I was given linen for my sons travel cot which had an orange stain on which shouldn't be handed over to guests. Breakfast was edible, although range was fairly limited. The lady at checkout was extremely helpful once I voiced my concerns of my stay, although she was unaware of the water temperature being bolted down which was odd to me. However, she was great at coming to a reasonable resolution and I went on my way. Would not recommend, unless you're really desperate and need to crash out for the night.
We visited the London Prince Regent Hotel in Chigwell as part of my birthday gift as we were visiting the local restaurant Sheesh. I was very disappointed with the hotel room, it smelt damp as we walked in and were unable to open any windows to allow fresh air in. There was also a huge stain on the floor which you will see in the photo attached and it had splashed up the skirting boards and was left there, not cleaned, which was extremely unpleasant. The floor was very sticky when walking around bare footed. The walls had grey cracked paint exposing the white undercoat, there was also a green stain on the white bedding which I will also show a picture of which was off-putting. The room was extremely dark and difficult to get ready in. The overall stay was disappointing. I hope this will be improved for future guests visiting. Louise
The hotel is very good at what location it is and the staff are great very helpful the cleanness of the room was excellent and what ever you required the staff was there to help I would highly recommend
At 00:50 hotel staff decided to knock on a door and following no answer decided to enter the room only to ask if I ha e signed a piece of paper at check in earlier- I checked in 8pm and your staff decided to wake me up 1am - where do you find these people?. On top of that a general moan - some dirty curtains- looked a bit like a blood stain to be honest, spiders everywhere and cutlery packed inside a plastic bag - how crazy is that. Have choice- stay elsewhere.
This hotel while not perfect has an incredible amount of potential particularly with staff like Veronika at the helm. The rooms we had was brand new and very clean. And whle reception is a bit tired and the halls a bit older the comfort oof the room makes up for it. But thats not what makes this hotel. We had an issue with parking at the hotel (a genuine mistake) and the car rental company jumped on it (as they do) but Veronika went above and beyond to liaise with me, the car rental company and HQ to resolve it. The lengths she went to brought a whole concierge , white glove treatment to the experience. The hotel is not perfect , but I would bet that Veronika can turn it 5 Star with the proper resources. Would I stay again? I sure would (BestWestern take note you have a superstar right there)
My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on Friday 18th June for the evening Upto arrival we were greeting by a lady - immaculately dressed with impeccable manners ,her name given was Chelle. This lady made us feel so welcome, she really went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a fantastic stay, offering her help and advice of all the nice places to visit in Chilwell and surrounding area's. As well as making sure everything was ok in room, bringing us stuff we needed extra to the room etc Chelle is an asset to this hotel, such a warm welcoming lovely lady with fantastic customer service skills. If you visit this hotel, I'm sure she will be as helpful with you also
Worst check in ever, very poor attitude, not interested and unhelpfull. Several staff were not wearing masks. Room was just OK, shower was dreadfull it sprayed water all over the room, food scraps in the lift and along the corridors, very hard bed. Paper cups!!
I would say in today's times when hotels are trying to cut costs, this hotel has been a pleasant surprise. The food is decent and the stay was quite comfortable. It was clean and the staff was very welcoming and warm. Overall, a good experience.
I would say this hotel is great value for money. Room was modern and slept like a baby. Hotel was very quiet but it was midweek. There was covid restrictions in place to keep people safe. Breakfast was included which was above average but probably be better if restrictions weren't in place but this understanable. Defiantly recommend as our stay was stress free and exactly what we wanted from our stay
Stayed here on work. Great service. Highly recommend. Rooms were clean and reception service was prompt. I also felt they have done a great job with COVID proofing the hotel. It felt safe and clean. Thank you.
If you are a single lady tracking alone on business I do not recommend this hotel at all. I had a guy constantly knocking on my door in the middle of the night asking me to help him find his room! Anyone can walk into the hotel as they did and the night Porter clearly didn't check the hotel for intruders. I called the night Porter but he did nothing as at 3am I could still here the guy outside my room. Nearly called the police! Rooms had not been disinfected and made Covid safe as the worktops where filthy and the bedding smelled of mould.
Check in staff were rude Room smelt damp Outrageous charges for microwave food ! Staff never available to answer phone for room Service which is there covid rules !!! Complete utter rubbish experience after travelling 5 hours to get there , was much better before
Room was clean enough until I looked under the bed, don't think it's been ever been vacuumed, found a dentures case and a lipstick vibrator.. Also strange layout for the COVID one way system, especially as you exit next to a COVID-19 testing centre.
I stayed here with my family in October for my wedding. The event staff, Oana and Emma were extremely helpful and accommodating especially given the last minute changes. The general manager, Shane Townsend was very responsive and professional. My room was spacious and clean. I would recommend to anyone wanting to stay or book an event here.
Me and my partner had a 2 night stay here and found the staff to be very polite, but the food was very over priced so we ended up eating elsewhere. Also during our first evening there were at least 5 mosquitos in our room and we felt the room hadn't been cleaned to a hgh enough standard. E.g. dead fly in the bathroom, some form of liquid splatter on our hotel room door. It is a good location as you are near London but a little over priced for an average experience.
Hotel has changed hands but made no difference Shane was extremely helpful before I arrived in making sure by the bride to be had a nicely decorated room & we were next door Reception staff were great
Stayed here as we were travelling home from central London to stop off at Sheesh. First of all when we arrived we were checked into a room that had a horrific smell coming from the bathroom - it actually smelled like something had died in there. There was also no toilet roll in the room and the bathroom was dirty. When we complained at reception the lady was very polite and moved us immediately and upgraded us for the inconvenience. This room was better however it smelled very strongly of paint fumes. There was only one bath towel and one hand towel provided. To make things even worse when I was getting ready to go out that evening I hung my dress on the hook on the back of the bathroom door only to discover it was covered in paint! My dress was completely ruined. I told reception the next day but they said there was no manager available to speak to me about it and they said they would call me. I'm still waiting. Awful experience. I definitely won't be returning and I have no idea how this place is supposed to be 4 stars. It's more along the lines of a 2 star.
The event staff were AMAZING. Went above and beyond before, during and after the event. Great customer service, attention to detail and responsiveness. The reception staff seemed disinterested and to not like each other, sniping at each other visibly. The rooms were great, spacious, well kept, good bathroom. For a huge hotel that seemed relatively quiet we were placed SUPER far away. 2 separate lifts and about 500 metres walk at least to our rooms, doesn't seem far but trust me it is. Breakfast was fantastic. Worth paying for in your room rate and not on the day however. Really good quality, and variety. Would recommend this place and was happy with our stay and the value for money.
A popular Hotel. I was impressed by the e mail to welcome me and the follow up e mails. My room was spacious and comfortable. Most importantly it was warm and obvious how to control the heat which responded. What wasn't obvious was how to work the shower and I struggled with understanding the controls. I went for room service for dinner which was a little pricey but came promptly. I was not very impressed with the food and thought the portions small. So, a fairly good Hotel with fairly average food is how I would sum up my experience.
Overall was an ok experience, I wouldn't rush back many better places. They were very accommodating of dietary requirements of 7 vegetarians, 1 egg free and 1 gluten free afternoon teas, however the eggless one had no cakes, scones etc only a few sandwiches nothing else. I had explained beforehand that the eggless tea was for the birthday person so was very very very disappointing. The afternoon tea is the same price as one in central London, not too pricy but not of the same quality for example some pieces of bread were broken and stuck onto a sandwich to be used up. I'm not sure if the cakes are made in house. The scones and cucumber sandwiches were lovely. The staff were very attentive to start with when they brought out the food and tea but we never saw them again after that. We had to keep walking to the bar eg when we wanted water or the bill or to pay which is pretty poor service. We're also not sure if the staff understood very well, when we asked which food was eggless they weren't sure and told us everything was after so I wouldn't trust them if you have severe allergies. The biggest let down was half a tea for the birthday person, especially with full charge.
I thought I would try your hotel again (in the hotel currently) to see how true your email from previous discussions was. Lets just say it is worse than last time with the following being the low-lights – Service in the bar – attitude of the 2 children behind the bar was poor, jovial but swearing under breath. Exceptionally slow service, 20 minutes to get a drink. Group of 3 stood at the bar waiting to order food for 30 mins (not exaggerated) Yes your computer system was down but this is no excuse for the above Room service – I ordered a breakfast in my room, rung reception where the phone was picked up then put down disconnecting the call, tried again where it wasn't answered at all. 3rd time finally answered, put through to the restaurant where someone answered with a mumbled ‘brasserie' (sounds like no interest at all), I explained and she said ‘doing it now' and hung up……. Lets just say I'm not impressed On a plus note Check in was polite and quick I look forward to your further reply on this.
Stayed overnight in one of the family rooms, really nice we were all really pleased with the room/facilities, the next day had my mums 70th in the drawing room, food was great and staff were too, especially Bernadette, she was lovely! thanks for great weekend.
