Best Western Hotel South Plains Inn & Suites, Levelland

My husband and I had some time off due to the holidays. We decided to travel about 6 hours to see an old friend. We had 2 requirements. One being that the room must have a whirlpool tub and 2 being that it was close to our friend. This BW fit the bill! When we arrived, Emily took really good care of us. She was warm and friendly! I felt sorry for her being that she was working Christmas Eve but she didn't show any resentment. She was bubbly and sweet. Our room was wonderful! We had the whirlpool suite. Came with the huge tub and the usual microwave, refrigerator etc. Bonus was that the bathroom itself was quite large with the shower. The bed itself was comfortable. The pillows not so much. BUT, we usually have a problem with hotel pillows so I am not holding that against them! And yet another added bonus was the free HOT breakfast! We had eggs, sausages, biscuits with gravy! Plus they had cereals, yogurt etc. And my favorite, the single servings of cream cheese! Parking was great but that could have been because it was a holiday. Either way, the next time we are out this way we will be sure to stay here at the BW in Levelland!

Hotel was nice and clean. Hotel was in a nice location. Hotel was near many restaurants and stores. Pool area was clean and had towels out for your convenience. Water pressure on shower could of been stronger.

Booked a stay for my uncle's funeral and when arrived asked about the bereavement rate that I was not aware of when I booked. Check-in lady said she was unable to honor the rate or my spouse's military rate. Very unhappy that there was no solution to this problem.

Overall, the experience there was good. Check in person was smiling and welcoming, the check out person at the counter appeared bothered (her personal cell phone was playing a youtube video near the registration area). Breakfast options were good and ample. While I understand the Covid 19 affecting the use of the pool and fitness center, but this June 2021, it's closure should've been updated on their website.

The mattress was wore out with a depression in the center. It felt like I was sleeping on a slope It was very uncomfortable. I woke with a back ache. And the AC was by no means quiet, it rattled all night. I realize that ac unit will make some noise, but this one was excessive. In short, it was not a restful night.

Emily and her team do a great job and are very helpful. during these crazy desperate corporate times. Staff is easily forgotten in the small towns they go above and beyond.. True texas hospitality they are the best when it comes to "best western"

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The front desk staff were very friendly and polite. There was noticable cleaning procedures that made us feel like they were taking extra steps to protect their customers from germs. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very inviting from the outside appearances. Beautiful land scape and seems in a safe place. When you walk in you are greeted by a friendly employee that is willing to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Rooms are big with all king beds. Nice decor and clean. Internet access was easy and price was good. If your passing through or needing a home away from home this is the place to stay.

Overnighted from a long day of driving from Houston. King room was clean, bed super comfy. Nice size tv, microwave and mini fridge. Ice is on 1st & 3 rd floors. Bathroom clean- good water pressure. We stayed on 2nd floor- very quiet and no noise at all. Breakfast was one of the best we have had- Texas shape thick waffles, fried sliced summer sauage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, bicuits/gravy, cereal and yogurt :) Pizza delivery ordered from La Bella pizza. That was great too. Overall, a 5 star stay!

The ladies made me feel welcome and helped me with all my questions. I felt comfortable there. The room was very clean and lots of room. I would recommend staying there to everyone. I've stayed there before and had the same great experience.

great motel just need to be sure all items are working the toilet paper holder in our room was broken Had a lot of noise from the floor above us maybe more padding on the floor Will stay here everytime I am in town

Margarita, mgr was very nice but don't ask her for anything. It was freezing outside and inside the hotel. She told us no cookies as is custom after 5, said the mgr had stopped that for visitors since workers would come and gather all of them and take them, and do not ask for luggage racks, mgr rid of those too with the upgrade of hotel, said not a single one around. Pillows small and hard on your neck, the floors very squeaky, the a/c-heater was loud it was coming apart, sounded like an old car! No ice machines on floors only on the bottom. She couldn't heat up the gym, used a little floor heater, we started working out it was 51 degrees and ending workout was 54 degrees. We used the hot tub, no heat there!!

The owner was disrespectful based on a religious tax exempt form. He did not care if he offend anyone and would not make things right over $6.60 State tax exemption for religious group. If my group choose to meet here again next October I will not attend.

Clean great staff great place to stay short or longer term. Well situated in Levelland and easy access to local amenities. All the usual hotel amenities are available make the Best Western an easy choice when in Levelland Texas.

I travel to Levelland at least 4 times a year and I always stay at the hotel. They provide service with a smile, very clean accomodations. The entire facility is kept very clean and rooms are so quiet .

I liked everything about this stay. Clean room and breakfast started early which allowed me to get on the road early. I didn't have reservations but this location had rooms available and it was such a relief as I was very road wery.

The rooms and the beds are huge and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was outstanding. We were 100% pleased! The food was outstanding,also. The place was very clean. We liked everything about the place. Can't think of one bad thing to say.

Pool is disgusting full of algae, green and slimy, staff does nothing to correct. needs professional help. They throw in a few chlorine tabs, needs to be shocked and shocked and shocked again, then they need to adjust the chemical balance until its right. Cant believe they let people swim in it. so gross.

After all the great reviews I was hoping to have one to leave myself. We got the Executive King Suite for the fact that we could put our son down for a nap in a separate bedroom. My parents checked in for us and put him down to bed and we arrived at 11 at night exhausted and ready for sleep. However the sheets were wet, upon examination the mattress was wet. We called the front desk, told them we would sleep on the pull out for tonight because we didn't want to wake our son and move all of our stuff. She gets us sheets, comforter, and some pillows and leaves. We make the pull out bed and see that the still warm comforter had a blood stain on it. Again exhausted, we threw it to the side and just used the sheets and went to sleep. They did get us a new room the next day and that room was great. No issues with it and the staff was very apologetic explaining that they had steam cleaned and that was why the previous bed was wet. Sure, ok I'll buy it. They have a sign at the front desk saying we will make it right. So when I checked out on Sunday I was shocked to see they charged for full price for the whole weekend. I asked the manager who was checking me out if they weren't going to at least give us a discount or anything for the wet bed and stained comforter? She apologized, and proceeded to refund me $20. For paying for their King Suite room and having to sleep on a pull out sofa and offered a blood stained comforter I do not think this was making it right. The staff was friendly, the room we did get eventually was nice, the breakfast was ok, and the indoor pool was nice. But I will not be staying here again when we are in town next and I will not be recommending Best Western anywhere to anyone.

The pool was rather cold, but the kids played in it and jumped in the hot tub to warm up. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They even had a refrigerator and microwave. There is a great Mexican restaurant in walking distance. The breakfast in the morning made it perfect to feed everyone and hit the road!

This location is extremely clean and hospitable. Their staff is phenomenal. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel was extremely clean. There is a fantastic young lady there named Angel, and that she is.

Way decent suites with comfortable beds.no use for those small square pillows but, to each his own there...breakfast is a little skimpy but it'll do...pay someone to service the elevator..parking lot is clean but entrance is somewhat hidden..rooms were very quiet although cant say I ilike that smoking is allowed in the rooms..thats a downer

The check-in was quick and easy. Our room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a good nights rest. Breakfast the next was very good, since a lot of working folk stay there you can get breakfast before 6:00 A.M. if you need to leave early. Check out was easy and every one was nice.

Basically one of 2 nicer hotels in Levelland. The price was better than the other alternative and probably just as nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast leaves a lot to be desired but I would imagine that's the same in most hotels. Best to eat out if you're looking for good tasting food. Convenient to everything in Levelland. We've stayed there twice and would do so again.

I called hotel directly needing a suite for 2-3 nites, to save commissions hotels pay online res systems. We were attending a funeral for a family member who had passes w/o warning & needed space to meet w/grieving family members we'd asked to stay there too. Emily, the PM Ft Desk clerk, made our reservation. On arrival we were told the 1 elevator wasn't working, but an engineer was coming to fix it! As there was no one to help w/luggage, we asked for a bell cart. No cart to be found. Then we're told our suite was on 3rd floor- we'd have to walk up carrying our bags. After deliberating, the daytime Ft Desk clerk offered to ‘jimmy' the elevator to show us the suite. It was perfect- but 3 flights of stairs, for 3 days? Her only other clean/available 1st floor room was a handicap room. (She had empty rooms but housecleaning had left for the day- 3pm? Sold out hotel? The room was fine & with a 76 yr old, we couldn't do 3 flights of stairs, so we took it! After she checks us in she informs us we could only have the room for 1 night - it was reserved the next night, we'd have to move in the morning! BUT, she'd reduce our rate $30.00. After a 6 hr drive we were so tired, we had no choice. We later learned the 1 elevator had been out for weeks! No one was coming as the note on the elevator door claimed. Which meant the elevator was not working when we made the reservation! 2 nights before!! -Not likely to be fixed! It that weren't enough, the next morning I burned my hand trying to flip over the heavy waffle iron-as it instructed. I needed some ice and guess what? The ice machine wasn't working either!! Felt for the Front Desk clerk- the only employee at the hotel, checked in guests, answered phones, helped guests w/baggage, cleans lobby, runs errands to rooms. She turned away guests including those we'd asked to stay there, since there was no one to clean the dirty rooms. Yet, at 8am next morning she's back to clean & re-stock breakfast items when not checking out guests, helping w/luggage for those not lucky enough to find the 1 bellman's cart. Multi-member families all had lots of bags! The noise was understandable w/lots of kids, tailgate parties on the parking lot & who needs the pool? But poor management is NOT understandable! Nor is limiting staffing/service, not repairing elevators for wks, yet expecting PM Ft Desk clerk to lie about essential access to 3rd floor suite, not to mention others booked on upper floors!

A very nice clean hotel for a small community as Levelland. The rooms are spacious and always clean. They have a nice pool and fitness area. It's breakfast area is clean and the food is good. There WiFi works great and there staff were courteous and professional.

This motel is highly recommended! Room accommodations were particularly appreciated. Two king size beds in the spacious and nicely decorated room. The room and public areas were very clean. The only complaint was that the fan in the bathroom could not run separately so leaving the light on without the fan running was not possible.

I was kind of disappointed with this hotel. Felt a bit like I was staying at a cheap hotel. I prefer bright and roomy hotel rooms. Next stay there would probably be at a different hotel. We stayed 3 nights. By looking in the parking lot, we were probably one of 5-6 rooms booked each night. On the third night, someone was in the room directly abound us and we heard every step they took. Again parking lot was almost empty! Pool area was dark and dingy.

The hotel in Levelland was excellent. The service was outstanding. The staff was great. The breakfast was excellent .I would most definitely recommend this hotel. The pool was great and the outside was definitely inviting.

Love everything about Best Western from staff to amenities. Bed was hard but that's the only thing.Need to either have mattresses a little softer or have memory foam for clients to use on top of the mattress. Other than that I enjoyed it.

Stayed for 2 nights and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Very clean and well kept property. Pricing was better than competitor in town. Will definitely stay there again in the future if I need a hotel.

This was a great stay for us, with one minor detail.This Best Western has easy access to Hwy 114, as well as Wal Mart, Sonic, and United Supermarket. Our minor detail: We were placed on the 3rd floor, and unfortunately that is the smoking floor. As we are not smokers, it was a tad noxious, I would recommend adding in the reservation notes to not place yourself on the 3rd floor if you don't smoke. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the parking lot is well lit and secure. Also, the beds are king size which made it easier to sleep with a child who likes to sleep on top of her mother, and not beside.

Front desk was accommodating, welcoming, professional & efficient. One morning doubled in breakfast duties, and did everything great. Only issue in 4 days was with housekeeping. They might have been understaffed with our large group

This Best Western in clean, staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are very large - can fit 2 KING size beds in room with room to move around. The bathroom was large and well equipped. The breakfast was large and the hot food was hot. They have a waffle and pancake maker plus eggs, sausage, gravy, hash browns, and cereal, yogurt, fruit etc. We were there for a meeting and they went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. I would stay there again.

Best Western South Plains Inn & Suites, Levelland, Texas, has raised the bar for mid-range hotels. All rooms have only king beds; double rooms have two king beds. The person at reception was friendly, cordial, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast was far above average for a complimentary breakfast. The scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, and muffins were very good. Other choices were available. The breakfast room staff person was cordial and helpful. Why cannot all mid-range hotels offer quality food and courteous service? I attended a meeting and we used the hotel meeting room which was large. They did not have enough tables, but plenty of chairs.

We stayed at this hotel for family weekend at Texas Tech. All hotels in Lubbock were full so we started looking out of town. This was a little bit of a drive, but worth the drive since there were no decent hotels left in Lubbock. This hotel was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and prompt with check-in and check-out. I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind driving a little ways out of town.

Much needed improvements for people staying extended periods of time. The cable only works half the time. Bring your own pillows...these are terrible in my opinion. Service was not bad, breakfast is made in a microwave so make arrangements.

We like staying at BW. Always priced reasonable, clean, comfy beds, & friendly staff. I really am interested in the lobbies as I get up earlier than most. I like to go sit in the lobby & have a coffee. If it's winter, I love it when they have fireplaces. It's a cozy, feel good time for me. Our travel is always leisure !

Very accommodating. High School Reunion. We were celebrating a combined high school reunion with all the 50's graduates from Levelland , Texas, High School. We used the conference room Friday night, Saturday night. The majority of our group checked out on Saturday. Our remaining few sat in the conference room and visited. Sunday our few had breakfast together and visited until we checked out. Everyone had a great time. Thanks to your facility accommodations we were able to enjoy everyone who attended,

The room was very clean. We had a good stay and everyone was really nice. The breakfast was good and what you would expect of a hotel breakfast. The hotel looks fairly new. We were not able to test out the pool, but if we had more time we would have checked it out.

The staff was again very good - friendly and helpful. But the facility needs attention. Our bathroom had a missing sconce - just the bare bulb on the wall - and the elevator didn't work that evening. The hallway on the 3rd floor smelled like cigarette smoke, and the bright morning sun made half of the tables in the breakfast area uncomfortable (the curtains do not block out the sun). we have stayed here several times when visiting family, and this is the first time that the place just didn't feel comfortable.

Thank you for your review of our property. I do apologize that your visit was not as comfortable as your others. We are currently going through a Design Remodel for a 3 year plan. We are on year 2 and in year 3 is when the rooms get remodeled. We are aware of the sconces, however, they will be replaced once we get to that part of the plan. Also, I do apologize for the curtains. We did not choose them ourselves, those were picked out by our Design Team and sent to us to put up. 3rd floor has our smoking rooms so I understand that it smelled like smoke in the hall and I do apologize. It is great to hear that our staff was friendly and helpful! We are working on these issues and I apologize once again.

I have been living in motels for the last 8 month and I like going to Levelland Tx. the staff there make me feel at home.There not one day that goes by that they'll ask me how my day was .That means a lot to me.

Staff was very friendly, room very clean and bed very comfortable. Great location to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. This hotel has a fitness area with many exercise equipment plus indoor pool and hot tub. The free breakfast lots of food to choose from it was great.

Amazing! Will come back and stay when we are passing through Levlland. Could not have asked for a better place to rest my head for a family wedding. In and out quite a bit and every time greeted with a smile and Hello from the staff. Breakfast was an added bonus to staying at your hotel.

My husband and I got a suite and we loved it. Very roomy for the both of us. Had a separate room for the living room and a tv in both the room and the living room. Next morning we went down stair to eat breakfast and that was also clean and very good. We will be back.

Nice, Large, Conference room! Great service! Friendly staff and very clean! If you need a place to book meetings give them a call while visiting Levelland Texas! There is also a pool available. Located near several restaurants.

Very nice and clean motel to help us on our way further South in Texas. The rooms were clean the and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. Carts helped us get our luggage to the second floor. The environment was quiet and we had a restful nights sleep.

There are other places to stay, but the BW is the only place to stay in Levelland, if you want a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff We use to stay at this hotel at least one a month to visit with my husband mother. After his mother passed, we hadn't been back in two years, and it felt like we had come home and was amazed that they remembered us.

The room was quiet, clean and in good shape. The pool was frigid. The price was a too high for the location and occupancy of the hotel. If you are booking and a pool is a primary concern then this would not be the hotel you would want to book.

I booked this hotel as last available. No hotels in Lubbock for Texas Tech graduation. I will book here again twenty minutes straight shoot to TT campus. Staff friendly, clean rooms and a nice pool. A good selection at the free breakfast

It was a good experience in Western south plains everything was clean but I did see two roaches on our last day but overall it was great! The housekeeping staff came once we left and got our room straight and even folded the clothes and clean everything, Must recommended this hotel

To make a vacation memorable hotel or suites does play a vital role. I have known several suites but BEST WESTERN South Plains Inn & Suites is just awesome. Everything was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will recommend others to stay here. I did have a problem with the waffle maker, I am a General Manager at a hotel myself and we leave the non stick spray out for our guests to use for their waffles so that they will not stick I had to ask for the spray and still it was put back up in the room where they prepare the breakfast.

We were trapped in the Levelland, Texas area during the Great Winter Storm Goliath (12/28/15). Had it not been for the Best Western in Levelland, we would possibly have been spending our night with a blizzard blowing through the area, inside of our van or camped out in some stranger's home. We were welcomed with open arms from the staff and had a wonderfully comfortable and warm room instead for our family to rest and ride our the storm in.

We were on a road trip heading toward New Mexico when the Goliath blizzard hit the area hard. After being turned around due to road closures, we drove for hours looking for a hotel that had a vacancy and had family members try the Best Western in nearby Littlefield, which had no availability. The BW staff there offered to call and reserve a room for my family at the Levelland Best Western. The hotel held the reservation for us and it took us over 3 hours to make the 45 mile drive from where we were, through the blizzard. We had to park near the road, as the hotel parking lot was completely snowed in. We trekked probably 100+ yards through 2 and 3ft snow drifts and 40mph winds with all our bags, and when we finally made it to the lobby, we were a shivering, wet, mess! My kids were crying, we were dripping snow all over the lobby floor.....it was awful. The night staff was SO incredibly kind, understanding, and welcoming and helped us get checked in very quickly. Our room was clean and spacious, with 2 comfortable king size beds. Can't say much about the location or the view, as I couldn't see either through the blizzard winds. After a good night's sleep, we went to go dig our truck out of the snow, and again, the hotel staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was fine, the standard quick, hot breakfast that most hotels like this serve. If we are ever in Levelland again, or even nearby, we will certainly stay here again! A hotel can be clean, well appointed, and comfortable, but the staff is what makes it great! Thank you so much!!

Very happy with stay. We were in town for a funeral and it was very convenient and served our needs well. Staff was pleasant and professional. The only complaint I have is this survey is too long and asks the same question more than once & forces you to spend too much time to comply. It should be easy and convenient if you want feedback!

My family stayed because our water line busted in the alley and had to wait for our water to be turned back on. The facility is newly remodeled, Prices are negotiable, clean, Fitness facility available for free for all who stay there (Snapfitness 24/7.)

We enjoyed our nights stay at the Best Western South Plains Inn & Suites in Levelland. The rooms were nice and the location was perfect for the purpose of our trip. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend staying at this Best Western.

spent the night and was really surprised at how clean everything was. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfy,and the Jaccuzi was hot. The Continental breakfast the next morning was very good. I would stay again. No complaints whatsoever.

We stayed at this hotel when in town for a funeral. We picked it based on the reviews. Our room was clean and quiet. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast as appeared to have no eggs (a requirement for us!) but a great place is right down the street....Noemi's. But the coffee in the lobby was great!

Fast friendly service, clean room, comfy bed. Fitted bottom sheets would have been nice. Good variety of free breakfast items. Coffee was out of a machine, and was not drinkable, but I'm a coffee snob! It's ok, Stripes across the street has good coffee. Thank you for a pleasant stay! See you next year!

There are two newish hotels in Levelland; I have stayed in both, and for the money, I think the Best Choice is the Best Western. The accomodations at both hotels are very comparable, both include free breakfast, and both are easily accessed. The folks are friendly and the rooms are comfortable and well maintained at the Best Western at a very reasonable rate.

Special thanks to all of the employees who went out of their way to make sure we had a nice stay. I would highly recommend this hotel when coming to Levelland. We used the conference room for a baby shower and our guests were even giving compliments.

Nice clean room with two king beds. Wifi was very slow and ran low on breakfast items but it was near the end of the serving time when we went down for breakfast. The entire property was clean and we enjoyed our stay. I will stay there again.

Stayed at the Best Western while on a business trip. This hotel was extremely nice with a helpful staff. My room was clean and i was able to relax in a nice quiet room. I will be back! If your in Levelland i would certainly recommend the Best Western over any hotel in town.

I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews on Tripadvisor. I could not be more pleased. The property is very maintained and my room was both spacious, clean and very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and made check in a breeze. It could have not been easier. I travel to Wyoming every year in September on business. This year, I decided to return home using US Hwy 385 instead of my normal route. I like this hotel so well that all my future trips will see me returning home through Levelland, so that after a very long day on the road I can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this property. If you find yourself in the vicinity and looking for a clean comfortable place to spend the night, this is definitely the place to call home for the evening.

We had three short-notice visits to Levelland in the past three weeks. The local HI Express did not rank high as other best HI Express motels that we have stayed in across the country. During the last two visits we stayed at the Best Western. The staff seemed glad that we had chosen them and treated us warmly. The room was clean, nicely appointed and the bed was just the firmness I like. Breakfast selections were wide and everything we tried was good. As a side note, these trips were because of two deaths of very close family members. For some reason, the staff were aware of this and expressed their condolences. They left a lasting impression of both the hotel and Levelland people.
