SureStay Hotel by Best Western Alice, Alice

Stay here if you are just passing by. The price is probably fair for what you get; not a lot of fanciness or luxury here. Just a comfortable bed to sleep in, enough room space to do some work or organize you field work notes. It's a one-story hotel without many of the typical amenities you'll find at other more touristic ones. Feels dusty everywhere due to all the contractors' trucks and dry season around this area. Plus there seems to be a lack of maintenance/cleaning around the general areas outside and parking lot. If you are visiting this town on a vacation or for any other leisure purposes, you'll be better off staying at the other newer, better brand hotels at the other end of town.

Looks can be deceiving. Staff seemed pleasant at first and the room looked clean. Went out to grab some microwaveable dinners so we could come back and relax. My boyfriend placed his dinner in the microwave and as soon as he turned it on roaches came scattering out. There were two in his dinner! As we packed our stuff to leave he noticed another one in his glass of wine. I took quick pictures and went to the front desk to ask for a refund. Management refused to refund my money and only offered us another room. WHAT?! There was no way I was going to be comfortable in another room here. I'm apparently out $300...for now. I plan to seek counsel. Roaches are a health hazard especially for people with asthma. DEPLORABLE SERVICE!

Paid for 2 rooms for 3 days all the times my kids and I went to the pool, water was spilling out from kids playing in the pooland the owner came out and said for us not to make the water spill out and told us to get out of the pool and we also had visitors with us and he told my visitor that he had to leave and move his truck off the property and he was not allowed to be here if he wasnt renting a room. This owner is VERY STRICT!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RENT A ROOM FROM HERE IF U WANT TO SWIM AND HAVE VISITORS and have a good relaxing time. ITS THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

The Patel family who are the owners of Best Western Surestay Hotel in Alice, always takes good care of their guest & we stay there any time we are in the area. This was our 4 time & as always they are there to greet their guest at check, clean rooms & hot breakfast.

I have stayed at this location several times since the property first opened. I have been satisfied with the rooms and with their condition every time. My most recent stay had a problem develop with non-stop, slow running, drip from tub faucet. When I informed front desk, Mr. Patel immediately gave me another room so that I did not have to be disturbed while repairs were carried out. His concern for my comfort was appreciated. Rooms were clean and well kept.

Check in was easy. Mr. Patel was courteous and friendly. The room had easy access to the parking lot. The room was clean comfortable and spacious. I didn't try the breakfast weather looked inviting. Good stay in Alice

Former BW property that has been maintained very well and is clean and rooms are large with all expected amenities Large TV, comfy Bed, Micro Wave, Fridge with a nice bath area. Nice linens in bath and coffee maker. Price is kind of high for a Sure Stay but fair.

Great hotel! My husband and I went there just to get away for the weekend and it was a great hotel! The staff was friendly, the rooms was clean, the Breakfast was hot and fresh, the beds was VERY comfortable! Will be returning!

Everything about the hotel, staff, parking are great! This is a small town however the people and service of this place is great, I stay at this hotel every time there is an event in the Alice Texas area. everything is so clean and beds are comfortable, they also have a BBQ area for guest.

The staff was great at check-in. The rooms are not too bad and are pretty clean. The water pressure was low in the shower and the AC did not seem to get very cold but the temperature was not too bad. We stay here quite a bit when we are in Alice. It is an older Hotel but in pretty decent shape. I will definitely stay here again.
