"More like a Best Western"

This hotel still had the Best Western vibe. The guy (manager maybe) at check in and breakfast was friendly, and accommodating. Cozy, comfortable room had the proper amenities. Breakfast was mostly decent Continental but also had sausage and scrambled eggs. The eggs were kind of crumbly but we appreciate that they had eggs anyway.

"A very clean and comfortable hotel."

I was greeted by a very nice lady upon arrival. The hotel exterior was well maintained and neat. Our room itself was spotlessly clean and comfortably appointed. We found the bed to be extremely comfortable. Another thing I liked was the absence of noise. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Clean"

The hotel was close to everything in Alice. The gas station mini mart was at walking distance. Breakfast was good not just cereal. They had 3 nice outdoor seating areas and a pool. The beds were comfortable.

I was on business, I really liked the stay quiet and the staff was very accommodating with everything I asked and made sure the stay was good.i would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a quiet and comfortable hotel.

"An ok place for a one-night stop by"

Stay here if you are just passing by. The price is probably fair for what you get; not a lot of fanciness or luxury here. Just a comfortable bed to sleep in, enough room space to do some work or organize you field work notes. It's a one-story hotel without many of the typical amenities you'll find at other more touristic ones. Feels dusty everywhere due to all the contractors' trucks and dry season around this area. Plus there seems to be a lack of maintenance/cleaning around the general areas outside and parking lot. If you are visiting this town on a vacation or for any other leisure purposes, you'll be better off staying at the other newer, better brand hotels at the other end of town.

"Not worth saving a $"

Looks can be deceiving. Staff seemed pleasant at first and the room looked clean. Went out to grab some microwaveable dinners so we could come back and relax. My boyfriend placed his dinner in the microwave and as soon as he turned it on roaches came scattering out. There were two in his dinner! As we packed our stuff to leave he noticed another one in his glass of wine. I took quick pictures and went to the front desk to ask for a refund. Management refused to refund my money and only offered us another room. WHAT?! There was no way I was going to be comfortable in another room here. I'm apparently out $300...for now. I plan to seek counsel. Roaches are a health hazard especially for people with asthma. DEPLORABLE SERVICE!

Paid for 2 rooms for 3 days all the times my kids and I went to the pool, water was spilling out from kids playing in the pooland the owner came out and said for us not to make the water spill out and told us to get out of the pool and we also had visitors with us and he told my visitor that he had to leave and move his truck off the property and he was not allowed to be here if he wasnt renting a room. This owner is VERY STRICT!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RENT A ROOM FROM HERE IF U WANT TO SWIM AND HAVE VISITORS and have a good relaxing time. ITS THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

I have stayed at this location several times since the property first opened. I have been satisfied with the rooms and with their condition every time. My most recent stay had a problem develop with non-stop, slow running, drip from tub faucet. When I informed front desk, Mr. Patel immediately gave me another room so that I did not have to be disturbed while repairs were carried out. His concern for my comfort was appreciated. Rooms were clean and well kept.

Check in was easy. Mr. Patel was courteous and friendly. The room had easy access to the parking lot. The room was clean comfortable and spacious. I didn't try the breakfast weather looked inviting. Good stay in Alice

Former BW property that has been maintained very well and is clean and rooms are large with all expected amenities Large TV, comfy Bed, Micro Wave, Fridge with a nice bath area. Nice linens in bath and coffee maker. Price is kind of high for a Sure Stay but fair.

Great hotel! My husband and I went there just to get away for the weekend and it was a great hotel! The staff was friendly, the rooms was clean, the Breakfast was hot and fresh, the beds was VERY comfortable! Will be returning!

Everything about the hotel, staff, parking are great! This is a small town however the people and service of this place is great, I stay at this hotel every time there is an event in the Alice Texas area. everything is so clean and beds are comfortable, they also have a BBQ area for guest.

"Not bad for a quick stay"

The staff was great at check-in. The rooms are not too bad and are pretty clean. The water pressure was low in the shower and the AC did not seem to get very cold but the temperature was not too bad. We stay here quite a bit when we are in Alice. It is an older Hotel but in pretty decent shape. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and we slept well. When we checked in, front desk person did not give us information on WI-FI code or breakfast time. We had to ask. Breakfast was okay. If you wanted a waffle, you had to have it without syrup, and gravy was awful. Had a sausage biscuit, Cheerios, and yogurt. No eggs available.

"Any Port in a Storm"

Literally any port in a storm as we were evacuating from North Padre Island just outside of Corpus Christi due to Harvey. The young lady that checked use in was extremely nice and helpful was were just walk-ins. The hotel itself, overall, had the feeling of not necessarily neglect; but, a feel that the franchise owner was putting minimal effort into keeping the property up to Best Western standards. The HVAC unit in our room was very noisy and the TV remote only allowed changing channels in one direction. Overall - unless fleeing a hurricane - I would not recommend this property.

The room and pool were super clean. The staff at the front desk was very helpful getting my coupon credit applied to my bill. However, the hot items on the buffet warmer were just luke-warm and the sausage & egg burrito was terrible (mushy eggs inside). I've had frozen microwaveable breakfast burritos that were a whole lot better. Biscuits and gravy would be a good replacement if they can get good ones . I didn't have the waffles but they smelled good. Coffee and all the other cold breakfast items (cereal, milk, juice, rolls and fruit) were good. Check BW internet registration for a good rate!
