Room cleanliness was ok and breakfast was good. Toilet would not flush and could not be fixed. Moved to another room and water barely came out of faucet. Asked to speak to manager regarding our experience. Was told he wasn't in and would call us. Never received a call.

"Relaxing Location"

Hotel is a little off the main highway, which I counted as a plus as no road noise, staff wil very peasant to deal with. The Manager called to check on me when a key card with my room number was found, my first day there. Much appreciated that he would call to check. Another plus in my book.

This was an average hotel. If you want a place to get a decent night's sleep. I have no complaints. Staff was average, rooms are average. I was just there to get some sleep and race a hot shower. Its an average hotel.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but aside from that the rooms were fine, all appliances worked and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also very door dash, Uber eats, and delivery friendly

"Dirty and kinda rude"

The room was dirty and stinky like smoke and mold. Little things not cleaned, linenes has old stains. The shower was clogged and very slippery, no traction on flooring. The front desk people were very nice, everyone else was rude. Room got "cleaned" once while we were there. Which was a garbage being taken out and towels being thrown on the not made bed. Oh but they remembered their tip envelope. I wouldn't recommend. There is a hotel right next door that looks nicer and wasn't much difference in price.

Quick summary: this was a very comfortable, clean room with many of the extras you expect of a BW property. Very good breakfast. Friendly, professional service. We stayed one night in room #302 while visiting friends on a road trip. My review is based on what I expect of a good-value mid-tier hotel, not a ritzy (and more expensive) resort hotel. It was convenient to the highway. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There are all the expected extras that we've come to appreciate at BW properties: coffee/tea maker; microwave and fridge; good TV with lots of channels (THANK YOU for the printed channel guide - I hate having to scroll through hundreds of channels,) good work desk; good outlets on the nightstand for your devices; chest of drawers to stash your stuff; etc. nice sitting chair Our room had a combination tub and shower - I love a tub at the end of a long day. Complimentary toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Spotless housekeeping. Very good breakfast of hot and cold items: scrambled eggs, sausage AND bacon, cereals, breads, biscuits & gravy, yogurts, waffle maker, juices, oranges, etc. and etc. Nice breakfast area has regular tables and high tops. Friendly staff keep things well stocked and tidy. Friendly and professional staff throughout. Our room overlooked a nice outdoor pool in back. The area had a nice trellis-covered area to get a little shade as well as the sunny chairs. It all looked nice and clean. There is also a fitness facility that we did not use, but it's there. We were visiting friends in the area, and would be happy t stay here again on a future visit.

"A Very Nice Hotel"

We stopped here at the last minute. Front desk was very welcoming and friendly. Hotel was clean. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the standard hot powered eggs, waffle, etc. Were getting used to.

Easy parking, Eli at the front desk was awesome - good name to drop if you eat at the Funky Pelican - delic. Beach is just down the street, big, open and good sand. Awesome fishing pier, but you do have to pay to gain access. Great ice cream at The Waffle Cone too. The rooms, amenities, pool and hot breakfast were amazing, along with the price!

We stayed 5 nights at Best Western Plus Flagler Beach Area Inn & Suites, what a great hotel. The room was large and cleaned. The staff is great to deal with. Great pool, the internet worked great. The breakfast was great, lots of choice. Only 3 miles to the ocean

Jason and Eli both ensured I had a quality stay. The room was clean with everything needed for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Breakfast was promptly served every morning at 6am to 9am. All the staff were attentive and diligent with their work.

We were given the wrong room (should have had a pull out couch). When asked about it the front desk person couldn't do anything about it and said we had to wait until morning to talk to manager. He also said he didnt know anything about/the hotel didn't have cots or cribs which we asked about when making our reservation. We also had to get a new room key card the first day because the front desk put our check out date wrong and locked us out of our room. Beds in the room were not comfortable for us. Continental breakfast was good, nice selection. Overall hotel was nice but front desk service was not very helpful or friendly.

This hotel was clean, the price was average, pet charge was $25 per pet, which is better than some. The head of housekeeping and the head of maintenance was awesome, as I had a cat in her carrier get out when I was putting feed in and then she disappeared. We tore that room apart and couldn't find her. We called for maintenance and he came along with head of housekeeping and they found her right away, and was very concerned for her. So they are the best. The breakfast was just average but no hot cakes or waffles which was a disappointment to me but that is such a small thing. Overall the cleanliness of the hotel was what was important and that was excellent.

The reason we give this place a 3 is they need more and/or better housekeepers. In a 6 night stay we only had housekeepiing one day and that was because we asked the front desk for a cleaning. If they are better staffed in the future I would give it a 4. For the price of the rooms the breakfast was fair and the fellow working breakfast was very good.

This place has it all! Excellent staff, very clean, big hotel rooms with all amenities (tv, microwave, small fridge, wi-fi) and breakfast included. Pool, gym and conference room if necessary. There is a huge parking and small shopping centre by walking distance.

Close quick drive o Daytona speed way race track off I-95. PERFECT room for long weekend stay! Close to Flagler beach were ya can cycle for miles! Peaceful area and very relaxing time! TERRIFIC breakfast for on the go people like me. EXTREMELY clean hotel! Tasty and delicious dinning along the beach 3 miles away.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very nice. They had a very nice exercise room for a great workout. The pool area was a great place to hang out even though it was too cool to get in.

The person who booked my toom at the hotel could not even send a confirmation. Finally received it after the second day. Could hardly understand him. On arrival, The room was propped open when we got to the door. Apparently the cleaning crew was planning g to come back but failed to do so. There were no tissues, shampoo, towels, hand towels or wash cloths. No linens or pillow for the fold our bed. We had to call the front desk to get some towels wash cloths. They said they did not have a pillow. Very rude. Went to check out and the clerk told me to hold on. She was doing book work. Never stayed at BW. Won't again!

Our visit at this hotel was incredible! We stayed here for Rockville 2021. The front desk took great care of us and our housekeeper made sure we always had what we needed. One morning after the show my group and another were hanging out by the pool area, a front desk associate brought us all little Tylenol packets and told us good morning! Being that the hotel had a full house they had to work extra hard to make sure we had fully tummies too. As the crowd of people gathered around for breakfast and food disappeared the staff was always on top of quickly replenishing what we needed. Amazing memories were made at Rockville and at our hotel. We will stay here again! The room was well put together with nice décor. The elevator worked. Did not use the pool but it was clean and had a nice patio surrounding it. Ample parking with multiple access points into the building. Clean and Enjoyable atmosphere!

Took a mini vacation at this hotel the hotel was excellent, the staff was very accommodating asked us several times if we needed anything throughout the day. accommodations were exceptional, the room was spotless. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with recommendations of places to go places to eat. The morning breakfast was amazing the coffee was superb. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Cannot wait to go back.

The entire management and staff were past 5 stars they did everything to make our stay the best. The room was extremely clean and recently remodeled. The free hot breakfast every morning was a great start to each day. They were all very friendly and accommodating from suggesting places to eat and things to do. We definitely will be back

"Employees killed this hotel"

This was our first & last stay at this hotel! When we arrived, only 3 cars were in the parking lot. It was 8pm and seemed odd that no one was there. We later guessed those cars belonged to the 3 people we saw working there. There were signs on each hotel entrance stating masks are required for all guests. However, at no time during our stay did anyone working there ever have a mask on. We checked in & went up to our room. When we pulled back the covers on the bed there was a huge stain on the sheets. We looked up at the ceiling & there was a huge leak right over the bed! How could no one at the hotel know this?? I called downstairs and informed the front desk. She didn't seem to care & seemed more annoyed that she had to find us a new room. I went downstairs to swap the keys out & that room was actually pretty nice. The next morning we went downstairs for our included breakfast buffet which was decent with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, cereals, juice, etc. While we were eating, the guy serving breakfast changed the tv channel from what we were watching to what he wanted to watch, helped himself to a huge plate of food & sat down to eat it. After breakfast we left the hotel & were gone for about 7 hours. When we returned, our room keys no longer worked. We went to the front desk and let the lady (same one who checked us in the previous night) know that neither of our keys worked & asked what could have caused that. Instead of apologizing, her response was "it happens." I'm no world traveler but I have stayed at many hotels throughout my life and this has never happened, so I found it hard to believe that "it happens" unless it happens frequently at this hotel & not many others. She reset our room keys & we went up to our room. While we were out, our room was made up. The bed was made & most of the towels were gone but not replaced & they did not empty our trash which was full. I went back down to the front desk, brought our trash, got a new trash bag & asked for more towels. I asked why they would have taken our towels (none of which were on the floor) but not replaced them. Her response was "probably because they were washing them." REALLY?? They were washing our towels so they could give us the exact same towels back? A hotel should have lots of towels! And there were still no other cars in the parking lot so I think we were the only guests in the whole hotel so there shouldn't have been a run on towels that day! She brought me a bunch of towels from the back so clearly they had more! We went out again later & were happy that when we returned our keys still worked. The next morning we had a flight to catch so we went downstairs right at 6am for breakfast which is supposed to be served 6-9am. However, the lights in the breakfast room were off & there was no food. We went to the front desk to ask about breakfast. We waited for a bit but no one came out so we loudly said "Hello?" Eventually a lady came out who looked like we woke her up! She was wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt and appeared to be half asleep. (Who wears sweat pants & a t-shirt to work at the front desk of a hotel?!) We asked about breakfast & she said that she had been told that breakfast wouldn't be there until 7am (an hour late) but that she had been told to bring out the cold foods like cereal, etc although she clearly was sleeping & didn't do that. We went back upstairs without having breakfast, got our things & went to check out. I found the lady in the breakfast room putting out cereal. I asked if we could check out & she said yes, but when she came to the front desk she instead answered the phone & had a lengthy conversation with what seemed to be her boss. Eventually she rudely said she was busy checking out a guest, hung up & took awhile but finally checked us out. She didn't ask how our stay was & clearly didn't care. It's unfortunate because the hotel isn't bad but the employees sure are!

We were extremely pleased with the service and service we received on our stay. We couldn't have asked for any better service. The room was cleaned and the following morning the breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again and hope it will be soon. Was first placed in a room with a broken air conditioner! Asked to move to a different room and was placed in a room with a rancid smell! Was too tired to change rooms again only to find the air would not shut off in that room. Was told by front desk staff that a manger would contact me and give discount. It never happened!!!! Also is in a sketchy area. Don't stay here!!!!

The only nice thing about this stay was the man at the check in desk following COVID Restrictions. I was not given the room I reserved. We did not have the amenities that were promised in the reservation. There were no other staff members following Covid guidelines. The breakfast room was jam packed. For what we paid we should've at least gotten was listed on the reservation if not more. I am a nurse and I travel all over the state..if this hotel was on my list for inspections I would absolutely not have given them a great inspection report.

This review has taken a drastic turn from what it would have been if not for the manager Michael. After encountering an issue with our one night stay at this hotel I was prepared to torch this business with my review. My encounter with the onsite manager Michael has completely changed my review. I had a legitimate issue with our stay and Michael used his authority to rectify the situation by offering a more than fair resolution to our problem. Michaels' take responsibility attitude and concern for customer satisfaction is what every business owner should want from their managers ! Thanks Michael ! I can emphatically give our stay 5 Stars after Micheals intervention !

This hotel is extremely clean and the room very nice. Larger then we thought. We got two queens with sofa bed. Bathroom was very big. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a great snack area and free WiFi. Very close to many things. The free breakfast was hot and amazing. Lots of choices. Biscuit and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, and more. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

Arrived at 2am unexpectedly (our flight from Puerto Rico had been delayed and we needed a place to sleep before driving back to Delaware). Booked room at front desk and price was only $100 (plus tax), compared to $130-$150 (before taxes) for other hotels in area. Krylissa was extremely accommodating and friendly. We were given a later check out time as well. Comfortable double beds, smelled good, everything was very clean. Highly recommend!

"BW Plus?? Not Really"

From the beginning we had problems. When we entered the room assigned to us we found the carpet had not been vacuumed. The front desk insisted it had been even when we told them about pieces of scrap paper and small debris throughout the room. We could not help but wonder what else had not been cleaned. This lack of vacuumed area was evident in the hallways as well. We were given another room and though we stayed the 4 nights there were many issues. The door would not open without a shoulder slam and just as hard to close. The sink put forth only a very low amount of either cold or hot water even after I got on my knees and opened the valves further. There is only 1 seat in the entire room with so little space for another. The fridge literally froze solid everything we put in it. I searched inside and out and could not find an adjustment, we ended up using our cooler and ice. For a hotel that is supposed to be a step above a regular best western it did not live up to the needs of those with devices to charge. There were only 2 usb ports in a lamp and one of them did not work. One good point here. the manager replaced the lamp withing minutes. The hotel was very quiet, both in the room and throughout the grounds. It was only about 3 miles to the beach and had food and other facilities nearby. Over all we do not understand why this hotel is called a PLUS Best Western?

The room was super clean, the staff was very professional, and the breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel. All of the food was cooked, not microwaved. Jason was a great help with an issue I had with another business in the area. Will be back. recommended.

First the hotel near I95, Manger let us check in a little early, clean room, mini-fridge, microwave, pleasant and helpful staff and with the covid-19 situation they gave a very nice breakfast and good coffee. My grandbaby can't have syrup and the gentleman was kind enough to check in the kitchen and gave us the same honey she use at home. I was very thankful and pleased. The hotel not far from the beach, or places to go and eat. Definitely would recommend this location to my family & friends, Hope to be going back soon,

I believe the hotel was just taken over by Best Western as there was GPS confusion with the name. In any event we were checked in by Adalyce & Luigi and they were totally personable, fast, efficient & happy to answer our questions. Very pleasant experience. At check out we were so nicely greeted by Christina & Jason - two more great staff members. The hotel is very clean, nicely appointed & maintained. I worked for a luxury NYC hotel for 26 years and know what service & standards should be - on this visit BW Flagler Beach exhibited the highest - with especially great staff.

Hotel allowed us to bring our 7lb chihuahua with us, new front desk/manager was very friendly and funny. Double queen suite (Room 125) was spotless with extras like microwave, sink, small refrigerator, coffee and all the necessary items. Beds were comfy. The gentleman at the front desk, though very busy, allowed us to check in several hours early which was great because we had just driven 14 hours and had arrived earlier than expected. He even personally checked the room to ensure it was ready for us. Location was about 10 mins from Flagler Beach and was close to many dining options. We would definitely stay again and wish the new front desk/manager the best of luck and remember to stay out of the mountains.. LOL!

"Quiet and comfortable"

The hotel is located at the end of a small road. It is peaceful and quiet. There is a small shopping plaza within walking distance as well as a couple of fast food restaurants nearby. The pool was clean, and breakfast was satisfying.

"Housekeeping is keeping house"

My bed was made with dirty sheets. When I turned thre bed down I found stains and hair on the bed. The breakfast fruits looked close to being spoil and the container for the juice was filthy. The workers prefer to talk to one another than assist the guest

This is by far the worst experience I've ever had as a traveler. I am absolutely flabbergasted and absolutely offended that this is a plus anything! We made reservations with best western reservations over the phone and she booked us here. Upon arrival, there was absolutely nobody attending the front desk for over an hour. Once finally arrived to the front desk, the employee said that if I wanted a room she can give me a DIRTY room but that she needed to call the person who made my reservations. She refused to look at my reservation confirmation number and after making comments such as “this isn't even my job”. “I've only been here 6 days” “I don't even know HOW to do this” she then walked away leaving us without a room to sleep in with my daughter who is pregnant with twins and I was very respectful to her. I've never in my life been more upset and frustrated with a hotel as I am today. I called back reservations and she called for 2 hours to try to find my family a hotel room and nothing was available. She tried to call this hotel back and once again, she never even bothered to answer the phone. Reservations said she has never in her life felt so badly for a family and she also took a report of her own. My family is now in Miami hoping our second reservation will take us in early. Never has my family had to sleep in our car like this. We are tired, we are so frustrated and we feel completely betrayed by best western and management should feel ashamed of themselves.

"Absentee Management"

First room assigned hadn't been cleaned, second room had an on functioning shower that per the front desk, they had been made aware of by previous guest. Repeated requests to speak to manager at various times during “normal business hours” and other times were met with same response. The manager isn't here right now but I will take a message and have him contact you. Even a week later after two emails directly to the location manager about the issue, I've yet to receive a response or apology regarding the issue. Thankfully one young man at the desk was able to move me to a room with a good shower for my second night, though it was not equivalent (queen instead of a king) and no refund of any kind was issues. He did what he could to help us.

"Won't Stay There Again"

We stayed there for 2 nights during Daytona Bike week. For a BW property I was very disappointed in the rooms. We had to get toilet paper as soon as we got in the room. After we got settled we realized how poorly the room had been cleaned. We found hair in the shower and the toilet hadn't been cleared, there was crap stains on the underside of the toilet seat. The carpets are in dire need of being cleaned, the bottom of my feet were black after walking barefoot in the room after an hour. The hotel is close to I-95, you could hear all the highway noise.

"SO Poorly Managed"

The room is ok, BUT this hotel is so poorly managed that it deeply affects the guests. Beer cans and other trash spilled out of the trash can next to the entryway. Only young and inexperienced people seem to work here. There's no coffee creamer or sugar on the premises! I checked with housekeeping and at the front desk. I asked if they realized that there's a supermarket next door. One staff person actually told me that they knew this but that the manager didn't care about keeping things stocked. Absolutely ridiculous for a hotel that costs $150 per night for nothing special. We WON'T be back!

"Terrible Hotel"

Best Western Palm Coast. We were attending Daytona Bike Week. 4 night stay, 3 different rooms, says it all. Room 1, no running water, hair in the shower, toilet didn't work and lights flashed, even when off. The next day we were upgraded to their king in suite. Nice, ummm no. Floor was stained, paint splattered spots, exposed electrical sockets. Not too bad but If you paid $300 a night, you'd be pissed. We needed to stay 1 more night and Mgr Anthony Trotta was rude, arrogant and just didn't care. He was more upset at the clerk who upgraded us to the filthy suite. He informed us no rooms were available and told us to wait until noon the next day to see if he had a $300+ room available. He wouldn't check anything on the computer. He wouldn't honor our Military/Government discount either. We serve our country and this how they treat us??? I went up to my room after wasting an hour with the idiot. In less than 5 minute, using the Best Western App, booked another night, for the Military/ Government rate. We were leaving early that morning and thankfully we moved to the new room before we left. They couldn't hold our bags for us until we moved into new room. The room rug was soaked and smelly. Musty. A can of glade spray was their solution. The fridge or the shower must be leaking. The cleaning was requested each night. Had it not been for the room shuffle, we wouldn't have had clean towels. All this was reported to the front desk and Anthony Trotta. Staff were not all wearing their PPEs. If you stayed there when it was Holiday Inn Express , you will be disappointed upon arrival. Not recommending. PPEs. The rooms are not clean. Could not get room service to clean the room. Was not well stocked. Appliances didn't work. I complained to the front desk and they was not concerned about it. Their was one lady that was awesome. I wish I knew who she was.

We were extremely hesitant to book this hotel based upon the OLD reviews dating back to its state as a run-down Holiday Inn Express. I even called and talked to the current management who assured me it had been "totally renovated." He was not exaggerating. We found the hotel to be immaculately clean, up-to-date, attractive and thoroughly comfortable. The staff went out of their way to be attentive, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel as a remarkable resurrection.

IHG web site redirects you to other area Holiday Inns. Phone has been disconnected. Call to IHG confirmed this hotel is no longer a Holiday Inn property.. Previous stays were good. Loved the convenience to Flagler Beach. Hampton Inn next door to his property is nice.

"Sad Excuse Of A Hotel"

Housekeeping never cleaned our room. Dropped off towels, that's it! Never cleaned the bathroom once.Had to reactivate our room key every day of our 5 day stay. Garbage was NEVER emptied. Bed was never er made.Complimentary toiletries was only replaced one time. Coffee was replenished only one time with decaf coffee. Every day a lot of time was spend at the front desk waiting for the clerk to come out of hiding to look after these concerns. The complimentary breakfast had no orange juice. The pancake maker was "oops, not working" and according to staff "it has been this way for quite some time". Beds are as hard as the floor but with an added sheet. Clothes dryer on the second floor would not shut off, even with the door open. Called the front desk and they informed me they would notify maintenance in the morning! um...no, this is a high risk of an electrical fire! My husband actually had to go and unplug the machine since we were concerned the hotel would catch fire with us in it. More value for the money at the hotel directly beside this pathetic one. Housekeeping SUCKED

This location is a convenient stop right off of I-95. Great overnight location stop if headed north or south into or out of Florida. Average room and service quality. Appears to be an older property. Room could use a little freshening up, but was clean.

Wife and I stayed there because we came to town to see friends. What a mistake carpet filthy, rooms beat up old trashy run down dump. People were nice but the place is a disgrace of a Holiday Inn Express. More like a $30 a night budget host. What a dump

We arrived late to get a jump start on our Disney to Boston drive home. After a full day at HS we only wanted to get to rt 95 then spend a night. Found this hotel and they were so friendly. Woman at front desk was doing a 24 hour shift but was very pleasant to us upon arrival and this morning when we enjoyed a great complimentary breakfast. Great job!!!!
