Great location, clean updated rooms, exceptional staff. We had a seating right out our door over looking the duck/fish pond. Food for the ducks and fish were supplied at the front desk for free. We were far enough away from the road that we never heard any autos. The facility has an outdoor and indoor pool, arcade, gazebo, fire pit and upright grills. We loved to walk around the area. This was by far, the best staff I have ever encountered from any hotel stay ever. They went out of their way on assist us. I would highly recommend this place to all. We will definitely go back in the future. It also, came with a breakfast of eggs, waffles, muffins, bread, juice, coffee and more. It's nice to start the day with breakfast already made.

If you care about your safety & caring staff, stay elsewhere. Staff will enter your room uninvited on a MINOR child, not once but TWICE! Charge your card for fees they don't disclose during check in & if you pay for an extra full day just to have a later check out time, staff will park outside your door from 10:30am until you check out at 4:45 harassing you to leave so they can clean when you paid for the entire day!! Complaints do nothing, they just smile. Stay far away from this hotel.

Comfortable room, great breakfast, staff was nice. Location just off the highway and easy to find. Very close to Flume Gorge and other attractions. There are multiple buildings and you have to walk outdoors to the breakfast/restaurant/indoor pool, something to note in winter. It would be comfortable to walk around in summer. My only issue with the room was the noise level, very little noise insulation so heard a lot from upstairs neighbors, cleaners, people walking by outside etc. The pool was a nice temperature, pretty warm, lots of kids. Sauna was nice and hot (but not quiet at all, can hear all kids yelling in the pool). The hot tub looked nice but I did not go in because it was full of bros who looked like they were never going to leave. There was also a surprisingly large game room with classic arcade games like Pac-man, pinball games like Stranger Things, a pool table, claw machines, and a whole bunch of stuff, and even couches for parents to sit while kids play in the arcade which is a nice touch. The attached tavern had great dinner - the veggie mac and cheese did not disappoint! You can eat there (it was bustling, had live music on Saturday night) or order online for takeout which was convenient. Overall, not the most quiet stay, but it was nice and good for families.

Definitely not your traditional Best Western layout, but it still has a bunch of the BW staples someone may be used to. There are multiple buildings spread out across a wide complex. There are two pools (including an indoor one w/hot tub for use in the winter). There's an arcade room. There's a bar/restaurant attached to the main lobby. My room had a large fridge and microwave, along with a small kitchen sink (something I wish more hotels would have!) Breakfast offered the typical Best Western choices (scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles) and ample seating for when its busy. This is a very popular spot for snowmobilers during the winter, as a trail goes right through the resort. It's also convenient for skiers, with Loon and Cannon a short drive away.

This hotel was very reasonably priced and had a very fair pet fee. The front desk clerk was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. She gave everyone a map as they were checking in and explained the location of local shops. This was helpful as we checked in late in the evening and the area was very dark so it was difficult to tell what restaurants or gas stations were around. She also explained all the onsite amenities and hours. The cleanliness and comfort of the room for the price was outstanding. I appreciate that the pet rooms did not have carpet so there weren't any pet related smells. Having a restaurant on site was very convenient. The breakfast was good and was constantly being kept restocked. After seeing the room, we decided to stay for an extra night. We were on a long road trip, so we had been having to find pet friendly hotels every night. It was nice to take a little break and enjoy the room and surrounding areas. There were a lot of activities and sight seeing close to the hotel. I would absolutely book a room again if we are ever back in the area.

Nice place to stay. Has a free breakfast. They have some games like shuffleboard and corn hole. Also a little playground for your kids. There is also a pond with fish. Restaurant and bar on site. Clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Very nice hotel, quiet, near enough to Lincoln to be go out for dinner and near a lot of hiking trails. Other guests around us were friendly, as was the staff. We stayed in the strip motel part which was nice and surprisingly quiet given the road being so close. Nice room and all the things you would expect from a smaller hotel. Room was large enough and well planned, and was very clean and comfortable. Hotel services were quick and breakfast was good. Nice hotel at a reasonable price.

This hotel was an incredible value for the price we paid. Our room faced the brook which helped us (group of sisters) feel safer since no one could drive up to the room. The breakfast had plenty of choices and we were able to sit overlooking a pretty duck pond and gazebo. The location was extremely close to Franconia Notch State Park where we hiked to the Flume Gorge which was amazing.

The resort had many amenities such as indoor and outdoor pools/jacuzzi. There are many options for the type of room you want. The location was perfect for family places to see. Also, the 1764 Sports Bar and Grille was a perfect place to eat great food and many selections of dishes. The staff was very friendly. Also, it has a wonderful breakfast buffet for their guests.

I booked a room with a river view at the Woodwards white mountain resort. When I checked in, they gave me a room with a view of the highway, very noisy and a creek with rocks a few feet down and no river view. When I questioned the front desk Rose B, she said that they can change the room to a Mountain View. I insisted that I had booked a river view room and she said they do not have a river view at all. It's a creek that the hotel has. Rose B, told me if I am not happy with my room, I should leave and she will give me my refund. I told her I will stay but leave a review after my stay. 10 minutes later, Rose B called me on the hotel phone and told me that the manager said I should leave the premises. The supervisor at the front desk, Rose B and another male staff at the front desk were rude and racist. This place is the worst place, staff are unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. They advertise wrong rooms and when you question them, they threaten you to leave. I will not recommend this place to anybody . Travelers be on the alert.

Our dog, who was on a leash, was attacked so badly by an off leash violent dog she needed vet attention. There was blood everywhere and my husband was also attacked. The police had to come. The hotel refused to evict the owners of the dog, who were staying two doors down. My young children were terrified, as the dog owner was screaming at us in front of the kids. The owners of the dangerous dog should have been immediately removed. Do not stay at this place unless you want to be attacked by dogs. If this violent dog had gone after my kids instead of my dog they could be dead with the amount of damage done. And then, because rabies certificates were not required, we almost had to quarantine our dog for 45 days because we had no proof of the rabies status of the dog that attacked my dog. And we were, of course, on the hook for paying our own vet bills which were considerable. The owners did not even apologize and we needed to hide in the room because the violent dog and violent owners were outside our room and my kids and dog were terrified.

Average does this hotel justice. Decor is tired. Bed mattresses need replacing. Shower door would not stay closed.Breakfast is very basic and doesn't vary day to day. What it does have is an indoor and outdoor pool - not heated, some lawn games- large connect 4, corn hole, tennis court, fish pond and a playground. It is a good location in that it is not too far from area activities.

Meh! It was okay. I've certainly stayed in worse and also better. I have a feeling when it was new it was a very cute and cozy place. Things have gone downhill a bit and our bathroom left a lot to be desired. I was happy to be staying in one of two cottages. This one had 3 queen beds. One queen was tucked in its own room. The beds were fine. It was just kind of drab and dark. There was no decor and nothing really that made it overly inviting. The bathroom felt kind of dirty with chipped paint and tile. It's clear that at one point there had been pets because all I could smell was “dog.”The best part was not having to share a wall with others. The restaurant was closed. Breakfast was fine. Waffles were the tastiest item. The outdoor pool was fine but chilly and the indoor pool area was dark and not that relaxing. Kids taking over the hot tub and chipped paint. We felt safe, and semi comfortable but I wouldn't stay here again at $300 a night:(

Our stay at Woodward's was very nice! Our bed and pillows were very comfortable. I never, ever use hotel pillows as I find them too uncomfortable. I actually put mine back in the car and used their “down alternative” pillow. First the first time in years my head and neck did not hurt when I woke up! I wanted to steal that pillow, but I didn't. We enjoyed using the delightfully refreshing outdoor pool after our day's adventures. Their restaurant was an absolute surprise! The atmosphere was that of both a place where the locals eat & drink and a nice place to eat when staying at the hotel. This is not your typical hotel restaurant food. It is delicious and not expensive! The complementary breakfast was typical. Along with fresh, hot waffles, they also had eggs & sausage. I can definitely recommend this hotel and when we return, this is where we will stay. You can't beat the price or the amenities.

We had a beautiful experience at the Woodwards White Mountain Resort. We had originally paid for a less expensive room but upon our arrival when the check-in clerk saw that we were visiting to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday they gave us a free upgrade to what I believe is the nicest room in the resort. The room was its own little cottage suite with a two-person jacuzzi in a living room/dressing room separate from the king-sized bedroom. Two large TVs with cable, large shower (also big enough for two ; ) ) All very clean. Service was excellent, very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. One of my favorite parts was the complementary breakfast. Not just your typical Continental coffee, juice, cereal, and muffins (although they had these as well). It included two fresh Belgian Waffle irons and hot fresh scrambled eggs, home-fry potatoes, and sausage links refilled regularly (we didn't come in until the last half hour of breakfast, 9:30am, and they were still bringing out fresh eggs, potatoes, and sausage). We really enjoyed taking dips in the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There were other amenities that we regrettably weren't able enjoy because of our trip itinerary, like the restaurant/bar, gameroom (with pool table and arcade games), and tennis court. The only downsides we experienced were the sauna being out of order and our shower's water pressure being a little low (still perfectly functional though). I also wish the restaurant was open on Mondays but it's understandable that they weren't. We highly recommend an experience at this lovely resort to anyone. Whether you're bringing your family on a White Mountain vacation or taking a special someone on a romantic trip without breaking the bank. We are definitely considering coming back in the future. 10/10

Stayed overnight recently checked in at 2:30 with no problem. Person at front desk very friendly and helpful. Toured the area and then arrived back around 7 pm. Walked next door to the restaurant which opened recently. Food and service was great it's a family friendly sports themed restaurant with plenty of choices on the menu. Everything was freshly cooked and ranged from burgers and sandwiches up to nice sea food dishes including a nice-looking lobster roll and great prime rib. Appetizers and drink menu also very good. Checked out in the morning with no problems after having a nice breakfast prepared by the hotel staff with lots of choices. Grounds are kept nice with a lot of colorful flowers and a nice trout pond to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Also close to a lot of attractions.

Loved our stay at Woodwards Resort in NH. Location was perfect for our hiking, the room was large and extremely clean and comfortable. Easy access from the car to pack and unpack. Staff were extremely professional and pleasant. Breakfast included made the deal even better. Have already stayed 2 times and will be booking again next week for another 2 days of hiking. Plan to stay indoors until the biting bugs in the woods dissipate.

We have stayed at Woodwards several times since is renovation. The room was clean and comfortable. The split AC/heater was a big noisier that we would have liked. We did like the hot breakfast. We also took advantage of the on site restaurant

the loudest hotel I've ever stayed at...you could hear every single word..every TV.. every footprint..sounded like people coming through the ceiling..you will not get sleep here be warned...beds suck..heater wasn't working..or air conditioner...no one at front desk answered at all..

The reason I chose this hotel was because they advertised having an operational sauna, which was one of the key amenities I was looking for. The front desk even gave me directions to the sauna. However, when I arrived, I discovered that the sauna was not in operation, and only the hot tub was available. Unfortunately, the hot tub was overcrowded, making it an unpleasant experience.
