I have no complaints about this hotel. Hotel is near the freeway (easy on/off). The staff was very nice and our room was clean. The breakfast was simple but tasted good and replenished regularly. The breakfast attendant was friendly and kept everything clean. I especially like that the T.V. in the breakfast area wasn't playing news (played the weather channel) and was muted. Our family could actually talk to each other!
We were upgraded to a King Suite that was wonderful. Very pleasant staff. We came in late and were greeted by a very pleasant clerk who even at the late hour was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good! If in the area again, we will definitely stay here.
Very clean, updated, comfortable bed. Our room was roomy (king suite),affordable rates, pet friendly. Good breakfast choices, open at 6am. We were passing through with a one night stay expected. Our furbaby got sick and we had to take her to the vet the next morning. She had to be cared for overnight and the wonderful owners accommodated us with sympathy for our situation. Then she needed to be cared for over the weekend and they accommodated us again. Unfortunately, she passed the next day and they allowed us to cancel one of the remaining weekend nights. We highly recommend this facility. It's right off of the freeway but close to town.
This was a nice clean three-story hotel. We requested a quiet room and our room was very quiet. Even though it was on the first floor it was located in back and looked out on an open field so it didn't face the parking lot or street. We brought our dog with us to hike. The staff was nice and helpful. We had always passed Laramie on the way to Yellowstone, the Tetons, or Glacier so thought we'd check out the Medicine Bow Mountains and the Snowy Range Scenic Byway. It was beautiful.
I made a reservation for two rooms in March for August checking in the 3rd and put the 4th. I also then cancelled both reservations back in March as well because we found out we couldn't go. I have a ticket number stating this that I cancelled and I told them this. I got charged in August for one of the rooms and have requested 4 times to refund my money!!!!! Which they have not done!!! They claim the cancellation was too far back to look into it so therefore have decided not to refund me.!!! To me this is very shady business!!! The reservation and cancellation were done through the BW 800#. So no third party involved. I can not afford to pay for a room I did not stay in!!! I warned you I would give a bad review. I refuse to stay at any of your properties if I can help it. This would have been the first time in many years. You have just given yourself a bad name in my book. I have no information about the shape this motel is in this is a review mainly of the best western 800#. This was just the place we wanted to stay.
Food not great. Furniture smelled. Awful customer service. Needed to leave early and still charged for room.
Staff are great, the hotel is just old/dated. The room was okay, just dated. I was particularly annoyed at how the curtains were set up. They had the lighter curtain that lets light through and the blackout curtain, but they were mounted too far from the wall and so light came through all around them which was frustrating since the sun came up at 5:30am. Also, the shower made a high-pitched noise the entire time it was on, kind of like the whistle from a kettle almost ready to boil. The A/C worked fine and the bed was fairly comfortable. The electrical outlets weren't in great locations and most were in-use for lamps or other items. I don't think there were any lamps with the outlets built in to them (there may have been one). Hot breakfast choices were limited and not great: flavorless (powdered?) eggs, sausage links, paper-thin, microwaved bacon, and unheated biscuits. The waffles were okay. Also, the hot-tub was nice. Basically, I thought the hotel was over-priced for what I received. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at countless BW, Choice, IHG, and Wyndham hotels and compared to all others, I think this hotel was a pricey for what I received. I would not stay here again unless the property/room/breakfast were improved or the price was reduced. But again, the staff was nice and helpful and great.
This is a very nice "2-star" hotel. There are very few nice hotels in Laramie-- most are this "level" and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stay here. Safe, clean, quiet, with a lovely staff ready to help and welcome you. It is a bit out of the main part of town, but that is not hard to navigate.
I had an excellent restful stay after a really long day of driving. I was able to park my truck and 26' trailer on site with no problems. Staff was absolutely fantastic. Very curious and helpful. Will definitely make this a regular stop!
This Laramie Best Western was so clean and pleasant to check into. They offered to best rate with quality service and amenties. All wifi, TV and other information was clearly printed in our room for easy access. The pool area and hot tub was so clean, bright and fresh looking. Breakfast offered was satisfying. Eating area was cleaned by an employee as peolpe were finished eating. The hotel is right off I-80. The front desk staff were efficient. It was the most pleasant stop for one night as we travelled accross the country. I would highly recommend this Best Western in Laramir WY.
This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Lovely pool. Plentiful breakfast. Easy off/on interstate Hwy.
The wife and I slept well on a comfortable bed. The stay was quiet despite being fully booked. Our room and bathroom were clean with no evidence of dust or mold. To cap it off, the breakfast was tasty.
Friendly and courteous staff. It was a convenient location. Parking was great. Breakfast was the usual.
After spending $100 at another hotel, that was filthy and not in the best of neighborhoods, feared for our safety and vehicles. We ended up leaving and going to Best Western Laramie Inn. Was a much better experience, able to sleep better and breakfast was included. I will always stay at a Best Western hotel from here on out. Would definitely recommend staying at this Best Western.
This hotel may look new but the inside leaves something to be desired. Old decor, outdated rooms, stained carpeting, malfunctioning plumbing, and more. If you need a place to sleep and you don't really care, this will do. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.
The pool was mediocre, very dirty, and needs lots of work. and the whole place smell like mothballs as if they were trying to hide the smell of sewage like they do in the Bahamas. Would definitely recommend staying in a Best Western Plus in Cheyenne instead
The room smelled like stale smoke, one of the lights had an exposed wire and didn't work. Shower was noisy with a high-pitched squeak. Breakfast was marginal at best. While the bed was comfortable, and the pillows nice, that was the only amenable feature of the room.
Was in town because of work and this is a clean and well maintained hotel. Had a good breakfast and right close to a gas station and the freeway for easy on/off access. Would recommend this to anyone in the Laramie area to stay
All employees were friendly and helpful . Food was good and kitchen staff helpful. Room was clean and ready when we arrived .we will definitely stay here next time in Laramie. Hotel is a little out of the way but not hard to find.
I've traveled a lot this summer. This hotel was super clean, not just surface clean like some it was clean, clean which is super important to me. The hotel staff was great too, you felt welcome. A little pricey but enjoyed this hotel compared to others on this trip.
The staff are really nice and try very hard but it's difficult for them to make up for a tired property. My room in fairness was very clean and housekeeping still clean daily which seems to be rare. Walking to and from the room however is very depressing if you're on vacation as the rest of the hotel is very shabby. The pool and hot tub area is very run down and a homeless man kept hanging around in the carpark which was unsettling. On a positive note, you can wash and dry laundry for $3 and the rates are very cheap.
This was a nice property to stay at. The hotel desk clerk thanked us for being reward members & offered us bottled water. We asked for a restaurant suggestion and were given a 10% off coupon for a restaurant in town that was a little hard to find with construction, but was well worth it. We also received a map of the area. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good and well stocked. It was a quiet hotel and we enjoyed our stay!
We stayed in 24 different properties during August 2023 on a driving trip from Minnesota to Alaska. Our primary criteria for evaluating a lodging property include cleanliness, sleep quality, price given the season, ease of luggage transfer and use, and wireless speed and security. Other plusses would include location and view, breakfasts, and availability of restaurants close by. We don't watch TV so can't tell you about the quality of service. Any that I rate a 4 is one I would definitely choose to stay in again. This is the third time I've stayed here in the last two years—twice in August and once in February. The quality of my stays has been equivalent across these three visits. The beds and rooms are comfortable and the wifi works well. Breakfast offers a number of choices, and the attendant keeps close track of adequate supplies and cleanliness. This property is very convenient for access to and from I-80 but on the other side of town from the university.
Service was much more than expected. The Owner takes great pride in his facility and is very gracious. We received daily housekeeping which we did not expect and the housekeeping ladies were always very pleasant in greeting. No one provides daily housekeeping in this day and age. A member in our party had an unexpected situation on the day of check out which required a late check out with a full house in which the room was needed. The Owner handled the situation with understanding and grace of which we can thank him enough.
This is a very nice hotel. Front desk was awesome. They gave us a paper map of the town with all the restaurants on the back of it and the desk person highlighted a few places for us to go based on what we wanted to eat. The room was very clean and nice and the sinks, toilet, and tub/shower are in a separate room, which I like. But here's a problem I encountered. The bath tub was very slippery when taking a shower. They have soft water and mixed with soap it made quite a slippery concoction. Exacerbating this issue is that the bar that would have been right above the bathtub had been removed. You could see where a short bar had been, but it was missing. There was nothing to hold onto. It was impossible to put my foot on the edge of the tub to shave legs because I kept slipping, and there was nothing to grab onto. When lifting a foot to wash the bottom of it, same problem. I've never experienced this issue before. At one point, I did slip. Nothing serious. They need a mat for the bottom of the tub and they need to install something to hold onto. FYI: there is a huge sign for a Super 8 hotel right in front of this hotel, but the Super 8 is back behind them. All in all, a nice place. Can't tell you much about the location because this was our first time in Laramie. It does seem to be on the outside of the main college/town/eateries area, not far off the highway. The bigger, fancier places are more inward and closer to the university, but then it's a relatively small town and nothing is that far away. Breakfast was good. We didn't use any other facilities.
Room was clean and a good size. There is a frig, microwave, and coffee pot in room. There was a bit of highway noise but not enough to keep us awake. We were not happy with the breakfast. The sausage was gray and very little choices. Most people were eating the waffles.
It was a clean, albeit older building. The breakfast area was somewhat clean.....people left just as I arrived and no one cleaned off the tables they had been using; the silverware was scattered in different areas for no apparent reason; the staff member in the room was not friendly; and the cheese that they had shredded to go on top of the eggs tasted funny- moldy. Only one ice machine on main floor. Parking lot area seemed small, especially with people taking up two spaces with vehicles and trailers. Management did write me back about my reply to their survey. They were polite. My consensus is you get what you pay for. I opted to stay here to save money. I won't make that mistake again.
We stayed one night while driving to Colorado from California. The property was conveniently located and the town has many options for restaurants, bars and breweries. The university campus is worth a drive through.
Nice newer hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful and matched the online price at the desk. Very nice with large variety breakfast in the morning. Pet friendly hotel. Small charge for each animal. Easy to get to.
Nice hotel located right off the interstate, Clean rooms, Friendly staff. Breakfast plentiful and provided options. Only downfall to this location is parking if you are pulling a trailer. Parking lot is on the smaller size and fills up quickly.
Very nice Hotel. Ideal to wait for reopening the Interstate;) I got stuck 2 nights due to interstate closure. But it was actually a nice break! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, all you need!
It was awesome and have nothing to complain about.. I recommend this place to everyone. The service was great! The rooms was nice and clean and smelled fresh. The lobby was very nice and comfortable to hang out and watch TV. The pool and hot tub was very nice and clean.
Nice place to stay. Convenient location and friendly helpful staff. More/different breakfast options would been better for the length of stay. Breakfast was nice though. I would recommend this hotel and love Ik forward to staying there again.
Best Western in Laramie kept us safe and warm. Everything we needed was close at hand and worked well. The employees were friendly and helpful and shared great information helping us get around town to find the best restaurants. Our stay was very pleasant and we're grateful for the excellent care we received.
If you've been to a relatively new Best Western in the past five years, then you know what they're like. This one is typical. Beds are good, there are plenty of pillows and towels, it's clean and well-maintained, and the WiFi works well. If you're looking for an overnight place to stay and you'd like to get off I-80 and right back on, this is an excellent choice. There are two gas stations immediately adjacent with competitive prices. Breakfast is included. If you want to spend some time touring Laramie, the location is not so good because you're basically in West Laramie and everything you might want to see except the Territorial Prison site is on the east side of the Union Pacific tracks which run north/south in Laramie. That might be the reason that the room rates are a bit lower here than for comparable properties to the east, especially near the university. I have one nit-picking complaint. The bathroom exhaust fan goes on every time the bathroom light is turned on. It's an annoyance if you're using the bathroom in the middle of the night. It might save some electrician costs during construction, but, for me, I'd consider staying somewhere else next time. If that wouldn't bother you, there is no other reason why I wouldn't recommend this operation.
The pillows were very small and the mattress was uncomfortable ( lumpy ). During the reservation, I had asked the room to be on the first floor. I did online pre-check and there was no mention that the room on the first floor would not be available! When I reached there, the staff behind the desk told me that all the rooms on the first floor are taken!
This Best Western was clean and comfortable. We were traveling with our two Golden Retrievers and the Front Desk Representative went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and made it easy for us to get back on the road to our next destination. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Best Western!
Brent at the front desk made this our favorite spot to stay. Pet room was fresh, clean and there is a fenced pet area across the street. Brent honored our request for a lower level room and gave great advice on avoiding CO traffic the next day. He was warm and professional as we heard him welcome many arriving guests! Room is large, clean, and quiet. Great bed and pillows. This location is a short drive to downtown or the campus. We used reward points to lower the rate. Wendy's across the street was only food nearby, but many choices in town. Highly recommend this property. Check out was efficient. GREAT EXPERIENCE
Our stay at the above hotel was excellent! Very, very clean with a helpful and kind staff. Breakfast was included which was very good with lots of choices and well stocked and clean. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and good temp. The housekeeping dept did a wonderful job cleaning and stocking each day. Inside and out were kept nicely. Will stay again,
Very helpful staff, great location, and very accommodating. Very pleased with our experience. The guy that checked us in was so very helpful. And it really is the staff that makes a hotel stand out and this guy really did.
Great place to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Good parking for truck and trailer. We felt safe on the property. easy on and off the freeway. Left to early for breakfast so can't review the food.
We were most pleasantly surprised at this hotel. Unlike some of the other chains, these guys had the exact room we requested and there was nothing , I mean nothing, wrong. The room was immaculate, comfortable and very affordable compared to some of the other biggies. . The staff was 1st rate--they bent over backwards to be helpful and were incredibly courteous and friendly. Breakfast was the standard fare, but it was tasty and hot. All in all, I am a new believer. Have had a less that great opinion of the Best Western brand the last few years, but am now going to give them my attention and would be inclined to look at them first when booking- all because of this experiences. Highly recommend.
All employees were excellent. I felt safe and comfortable. Even had some pleasant interactions with other guests -- generally a positive feeling. Property is slightly older, and not impressive in terms of condition or design, but everything was fine. The room was noisier than I like -- hearing movement in the hall and the nearby rooms. Bring your earplugs, and you'll be as happy with this one as we were.
Arrived at the hotel, checked in and the two night rate had almost doubled from what my reservation was. No one could fix it until the next day when Ken the manager came in. Second issue was when we went to put our clothes away in the room and opened the dresser drawer, there was trash in the drawer. Thirdly, breakfast was skimpy. Left a lot to be desired.
Although this hotel is not really near the center of town, we stayed here and used points as I am a Gold Star member. We were here only one night but as usual, it was very good. Included with the room is a nice hot breakfast with the typical foods. We have no complaints about this hotel.
The front desk agent in the PM was very accommodating & friendly. My husband and I felt welcomed right away especially after he allowed us to take up a couple of parking spaces for us to park our truck & uhaul trailer since we saw a mobile home with a jeep attached to it taking up 8 parking spaces across from us. We had nowhere else to park it & that was really convenient for us since we can view it from our room. The lobby looked clean. I was just not sure why the front desk agent had his cap in reverse like he was a hippie or something. I actually thought it was a bandage wrapped around his head at first. I just find it strange. The entire checking in process was really smooth and easy. There was an elevator in this hotel! Almost everything was working in the room, TV, telephone, microwave, fridge, airconditioner & lamps. The only thing that did not work was the usb port in the center lamp by the nightstand. We got a double queen room facing the parking lot on the 2nd floor which was great. The cons to this room based on my observation was that there was something wrong with the water... at first we thought it was our skin when we took a shower. And then I thought it was the bar soap and then it turns out it was the water that was making everything else slippery and we had no clue why. It was definitely worrysome. Another con would be the tinee tiny trash cans. Anyone could easily fill the trash cans in half an hour all the way up because of how small they were. And they only had 2 in the room. For the number of beds in this room they should expect at least 4 people staying in this room as a standard so there should be at least 3 large trash cans and not tiny ones. Also the coffee station was nice but it was literally located right next to the sink in the bathroom. There were no rubber mats provided in the bath tub. I liked the 2 extra pillows already stored with 2 luggage racks beneath it. And the extra towels that were already ready for use. Other than that, the room was clean and spacious enough for the 2 of us. I would recommend spraying more of their rooms and the elevators and stairwells. It does not look like they invest much in a well scented space to make it more relaxing for guests.
This is a wonderful hotel in Laramie with friendly people and an inviting atmosphere. Everyone smiled and welcomed us at our arrival and made the process quick and easy. We had an excellent night's rest to prepare us for the remainder of our trip.
Nice motel in a convenient location. Check in was fast and friendly. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was so-so. Hot food was extremely salty, no hard boiled eggs, no bagels & cream cheese, only one variety of yogurt - items typical at other Best Westerns and other brand motels.
Hotel was ok, comfy room, breakfast was ok, Hot tub was a welcome relief after a long drive, pool area was clean with an adequate supply of towels, the room was quiet, hotel is not close to any restaurants r shopping only a gas station,
The manager is very polite, respectful, and professional. The room was perfect, and the breakfast was exactly as expected: an attentive staff member kept the room clean and replenished. I am impressed with his hotel!
We just stayed there on the 19, and had two tired kids. The room was clean and large and had plenty of room for a kids blowup mattress, and pack and play. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good as well. The gentleman working that evening was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again!
being by a huge truck stop off of Interstate 80 the room was very quiet - the cleaniliness made me feel secure in knowinng the staff was doing everything to protect our health. theg Inn was close to everything we needed and the staff was most helpful.
Check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The only suggestion would be to replace the drapes. They have a new coffee machine and the coffee was very good. The breakfast offers many choices. The pool and hot tub recently reopened after being closed for 2 years.
I had a great experience at the Best Western Laramie Inn & Suites. The staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. The room was very clean and stocked with essential amenities. The continental breakfast was good. Nice selection of breakfast items (cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, yogurt and add-ins). I traveled with my small dog and Best Western was welcoming to him, as well.
After setting reservations for the wrong night at a different location, we made a few calls only to find most were booked in town. Stopped by the Best Western and they had a couple of rooms available. I asked for a queen or better and got a double queen room, more than enough. The pool and hot tub were down, so no comments about those. The breakfast was hot, biscuits and gravy, eggs(powdered and reconstituted like everyone else, but these weren't runny) sausage, waffles and the rest of the regular fare. The location was clean and modern, the room clean and quiet. Brent did a great job at check-in. He was very helpful and courteous.
Went with a friend for 5 nights to Laramie to go mountain sledding. Stayed here which was close to the mountains and right off I80. Right next to 2 truck stops but it seemed quite. Room was clean, safe place to stay. Parking lot not good for trucks with trailers. There are chargers for Electric vehicles. Had a microwave and small fridge. Housekeeping daily if you wanted. Nice staff. Pool and hot tub NOT in working order. Have apparently not been working for over a month. Sadly it didn't say that when booking hotel. Went to a different hotel downtown that friends were staying at and used their hot tub. Breakfast was the same every day so that wasn't great when staying 5 nights. Would be fine if you were only staying 1 night. Bed not comfortable and pillows were the size of a throw pillow. At least each bed had 6 pillows on them. Better options to stay closer to downtown with more to do at night without having to drive and price per night not much more. Uber/Lyft is $11 one way to downtown. Would recommend staying somewhere else if going to stay more than a night. Good if u are just passing through. Would give 3 or 4 stars if hot tub and pool were working and breakfast was better.
The Best Western Laramie Inn & Suites is a nice, clean and relatively quiet hotel just off Interstates 80. My only complaint is that after working all day on my feet, I would like to visit the hot tub and relax. This property has both pool and hot tub but neither seem to be in working order.
I've stayed at this Best Western quite a few times in the last year and a 1/2 and it hasn't changed It's a good motel to stay at why you're going through Wyoming Thank you very much I hope to see many more stays there
The room was comfortable and clean. The check in staff was friendly. The refrigerator made a loud buzzing sound which made it hard to sleep. The pool was not in working order. The breakfast had many choices, but could have used a variety of fruit.
Whereas: 1.) I booked a room at the Best Western Laramie Inn & Suites at 1767 N Banner Road, Laramie, WY 82072 (hereafter referred to as "Hotel") for 11 Jan 2022 via Chase Ultimate Rewards which is 'powered by Expedia;' 2.) Prior to booking, I checked the box that excluded all lodging that does not allow pets, and read all of the fine print to find out if there were any pet fees; 3.) Not seeing any pet fees, I completed the booking at the Hotel; 4.) Upon arriving at the Hotel, I was informed that there would be a $20.00 USD pet fee; 5.) I informed the Hotel that since this pet fee was not disclosed prior to booking this "non-refundable" I was unwilling to pay the pet fee and regarded this practice of a surprise fee as, at minimum, a deceptive business practice; 6.) the Hotel manager, Mike (Manilal) Chaudhari, informed me that they would not give me the room that I had paid for without the aforementioned undisclosed pet fee which I refused to pay, since it had not been disclosed prior to booking; 7.) I left; 8.) Chase Ultimate Rewards attempted to receive a refund from Hotel on my behalf and was unsuccessful. Therefore: 1.) I conclude that the Hotel is not acting in good faith, and that their practices regarding the aforementioned 'pet fee' is minimally a deceptive business practice and may constitute fraud under Wyoming or Federal Law; 2.) I require a full refund in the amount of 6440 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points or $96.60 USD, paid by no later than 13 Jan 2022. 3.) I require that Hotel a.) ceases to charge all pet fees, or b.) discloses that a pet fee will be charged on all third party booking platforms by absolutely no later than 18 Jan 2022. This complaint has been filed with the Office of the Wyoming Attorney General, and the United States Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
even being near a truck stop, very quiet. was given 3rd floor upon request. Bedding and bed very nice. Bathroom a bit older but still very clean. The best was the sausage gravy for the biscuits at breakfast and Judith was very nice and helpful
clean, great hot breakfast. Check in was quick and professional. The rate was fair for the town. I do wish they offered a cooperate rate. I wish there was a way to "know" i was going to have to say in town, so I could pre book, but it is truly weather dependent
This Best Western hotel is among the best we've stayed at in the past year. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was high quality. I appreciate having a blanket instead of a heavy dubay. The staff was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel
We like to stay at Best Westerns when we travel and this Best Western worked out very well. Would definitely stay here again, We were treated well and it is in a handy location to the town and the freeway.
Great breakfast (Eggs were amazing), clean rooms, and nice hot tub and pool area. Don't know what makes a Best Western a Plus facility but this should be one. We will stay there again if we are ever in Laramie, WY again.
Wandered in here at the end of a long hard day of driving! It was right off the interstate and close to a place to fuel my vehicle. The hotel was light, clean and airy. The staff was reasonably helpful, but not overly friendly. I would stay here again.
We were very pleased with our 2-night stay while attending a friend's wedding. The room was very clean, nicely appointed and we had no problems with air conditioning or TV. The complimentary breakfast bar was amazing, had anything a person could want. The location was easy to access, very well-kept and attractive. Staff was helpful, no complaints at all.
We brought several difficulties along with us. First we were 3 hours early, they got us in a room almost immediately. Second, I should have booked a suite but didn't. They had no suites to move us to so we were given a rollaway free of charge. The room was very clean and comfortable. A little tight with the rollaway but do able. The breakfast was full of choices that accommodated my diabetic needs as well as my husband's sweet tooth. A very nice experience3
We had a very nice stay in the Laramie Wyoming Best Western. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We stay at Best Western because we know what to expect and the Laramie Best Western didn't disappoint.
My wife and I were traveling from South Carolina to San Jose and Laramie was a stop on the trip. We were extremely please by the property and staff. It is a relatively new facility but very well matained. The room was clean, quiet, and the bed very comfortable. It is easy access to I-80, service stations, and the city of Laramie is a few miles away. I would highly recommend this Best Western motel.
Breakfast selections were great. Pool was out, but great clerk offered to let us swim at other hotel nearby, and we did because important for grandkids. Beds very comfortable. Rate was a bit pricey, especially for a suite (only difference was we had pull out couch too). Location is not the best, but near interstate.
Newer looking hotel. I received a nice greeting when I went to check in. We enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. Easy access off the interstate. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Very Nice Best Western. Close Proximity to the Freeway. The Rooms were Clean and Comfortable. The Bed was comfortable and the Pillows were Great!! Excellent Customer Services from Manager and his Team.
Arrived and was checked in by a very nice but professional front desk man Gave us direction to the down town area. Let us know about breakfast and check out. Room was clean had a window you could open for fresh air.
I had been driving for about 13 hours on the 10th of May and checked in at this Best Western. The clerk that checked me in was very efficient, friendly and explained the breakfast and checkout options. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was quite comfortable as well. I got up early in the morning and got my car packed. Although it was about 5:30 in the morning, the "dining" area was open. As I was drinking my coffee, the morning guy was getting the buffet ready. I was allowed to eat early and check out. I was on the road by 6 AM which helped a lot. I did not get the evening clerk's name, but I did get the day shift guy, Patrick, by name, and I want to thank him for helping me get on the road early. He was very pleasant and professional.
The hotel was clean and had a good breakfast. Pool was closed due to COVID but that is understandable. The only thing that was upsetting was the raise in rates for University of Wyoming graduation. However every hotel in this tow raises rates.
This is a roadside attraction of sorts being it's just off I-80 which makes it convenient but also near two truck stops. If you want more its a bit out of the way considering the entire town is 30 mph but the traffic lights cycle rapid. I was checked in by a new person but he was efficent friendly and with good attitude. You could tell there was some pride in care of the property. The check out was 2pm which I would have appreciated to leisure linger, had I not been needing to return to my own small life and world. There were pets allowed if that is relevent . Again what I expeienced apperaed well maintained and also clean. The rate was avg.
I was able to work in peace while there. A very clean and well staffed property. Hats off to the young lady that checked me in. She was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I'll stay again if I am ever back in Laramie.
Weary travelers can rest assured that this hotel is going to take care of you. The kind reception to the comfortable, clean, and well-maintained rooms will leave your mind at ease. Located right off the highway, you can take advantage of the continental type breakfast or peruse the restaurants very nearby and be back on the road again or about your business in no time.
I80 was closed for the night and there was a best western right off the highway. I booked my room online as the highway was closed and many people would be looking for a room. I got to the hotel with my luggage in hand and a long line of guests were gettin gm checked in. There were two people checking in guests and did so quite efficiently. When it was my turn to check in, I think it was the owner who checked me in. Super friendly, super helpful and made sure my stay was going to be a good one. The gal at the front desk was super friendly too. The hotel was really clean, my bed was really comfortable and I would go back. Clean safe and accommodating. Larry
This was my first trip since the Covid19 virus lockdown so I was a bit nervous about how clean the hotel was going to be. I need not have worried. This Best Western was spotless. The staff was welcoming and sincerely concerned that are needs were accommodated.
This is a really good best Western, I stay at my share of them. Extremely reasonable, clean and the beds are awesome. The breakfast area is large, clean and lots of choices. I was impressed, and I will be back. Thank you Ken, the host at the front.
When we arrived the power had just gone out for the City of Laramie. Manager Keten worked very efficiently and politely to allow access to our room. Thankfully we had a reservation confirmation on my phone. The business was clean(but DARK)....but our room was very comfortable and clean. I was impressed on how it was handled. Power was off for 7 plus or minus hours so we just hunkered down and went to sleep. The entire city appeared to be dark. It was cool outside so an open window was great. My husband, being an old boy scout had 5 flashlights. :-)......we would stay here again and thank you to the staff who kept things going. We got a breakfast to go bag, in the morning. Very impressed that the emergency lights were all on in the hallways while the power was off. Kudos from the fire department I'm sure.
Our family of 5 was travelling through Laramie and stayed here for a night. We took two interconnecting rooms that were nice. Rooms were clean and ready. Our truck broke down and the manager was kind enough to extend our check out time by an extra hour until one of the local shops finished fixing our truck. Breakfast was grab and go due to Covid. Many facilities close to this place. Highly recommend.
I stayed at the Laramie BW while going to and returning from a wedding in Idaho. My traveling companion and I both had clean, comfortable rooms that were quiet with nice beds. This property is easy to find off I-80 on the northwest side of Laramie, and has a large well-lighted parking lot. The morning we left Iowa, one of our companions had health issues and elected to stay home. I was able to change the our reservations quickly over the phone at the last minute with no problems. The free breakfast was understandably abbreviated because of the pandemic, but adequate with a to-go sack breakfast option. We had a couple of small complaints in that an outlet did not work and my door was extra hard to close (I found it unlatched when I entered), but overall I would recommend BW Laramie to anyone who just wants a clean and quiet place to relax and recharge at a reasonable rate after a long day on I-80.
Due to a travel mix-up, I arrived at the Best Western Laramie Inn & Suites without a reservation. Emma was polite and professional in helping and finding me a suitable room for the night. The next time I am in Laramie, I will stay there.
Excellent Service, no pool, rooms weren't cleaned. Front desk was always very very helpful and kind. Rooms weren't straightened or cleaned up daily. Frequently out of toilet paper, towels, kleenex, etc
Stayed the night in a king bed room handicapped accessible. Super clean. Nice grassy area behind hotel for doggies. $20 a night for inside hotel dogs. Great staff. Breakfast to go. Water, orange, snack bar and muffin. We got the recommendations for dinner from from desk. Very accommodating staff. Across the street a pilot gas station with a Wendy's restaurant and Carl's Jr. at other gas station. Would stay again.
We found this hotel to be convenient. The room was clean. The king bed was very comfortable. We travel a lot. Our dog is cleaner and better behaved than most kids and probably many adults. I'm getting tired of paying the "pet" fee. I'm not convinced you do much of anything differently to the room because I had a pet. It adds anywhere from a 20-40% premium on a nights stay. We stayed at a nice Red Roof on this visit and they had NO pet fee. I thanked them and told them we'd be back.
Stopped in for the night on a Memorial weekend road trip.. First made the reservation on line earlier in the day. When we got there, they like everyone else has plastic shield to protect the person at the front desk.. Was greeted with a smile and checked in quickly.. we got a 2nd floor suite upgrade.. no extra charge! awesome! the room was comfy and clean, the bathroom was decent size... I say that because so many places make the bathrooms so small you cant hardly turn around in them.. Breakfast was a bag breakfast to go... with the corona virus, nobody is serving breakfast.. with a truckstop across the street from the hotel I expected to hear more truck traffic, but we barely noticed any in the room, it was nice and quiet.. TV was big and plenty of channels.. I'd would stay here again if I find myself in Laramie again
Me and a few buddies from Minnesota thought we would try this hotel out, the staff were nice the people staying there were nice, rooms and buildings looked great and kept up and same with the pool and hot tub, all in all great place to stay and would reccomend
It was a very short stay I had a surgery scheduled in the morning and I was gone by 4:30 am I am almost always content with my BW stays. I was very please with both hospitality and cleanliness of this establishment
Very nice place to stay if you are traveling with a dog. They had designated dog rooms on the first floor which made it easy to take our dog outside. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel was clean!
Nice hotel. Clean room, friendly staff. We wound up staying an extra night as weather closed all the highways leading in and out of Laramie. There were lots of guests that were still upbeat despite being stranded. Pet friendly. There is a large field behind the hotel to walk your pup. The hotel provides poop bags. It would be nice if everybody used them. Shame on you if you don't.
As close to town as you can get, friendly staff, breakfast included! Fireplace in the lobby was nice, and pool/hot tub area also a plus. I left some jewelry in the bathroom, and the staff was very helpful in arranging to get it shipped back to me.
We stayed here in order to attend a UW volleyball game and basketball game. The price was decent and we selected the hotel because they had a pool. The rooms were simple and mostly clean. Our room had a strange smell...almost like smoke, but our other family's room was fine. The pool was quite cold which was disappointing since that was our primary reason for booking this hotel. The breakfast was good and included scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles and cereal or yogurt. A good hotel if you are looking for an economy style and won't use the pool.
Clean, quiet, friendly hotel with easy access to I-80. The only drawbacks are no restaurants in walking distance and they charge a $20 pet fee. Facilities are nice including a hot tub. The breakfast had a lot of variety, and the dining area was large and comfortable.
On our way back to Colorado after spending time at Grand Teton National Park, we spent a night here. We had a very nice stay. The staff was friendly. Our room was a standard room with Queen beds. It was very clean, as well as the bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was good, just like most Best Western hotels. The location is ideal due to proximity to I-80. Very easy to drive into town for restaurants. If we need to spend a night or more in Laramie, we would definitely return.
We were stuck in Laramie during another I80 closure. We called ahead and reserved 2 rooms as hotel was filling fast. They were busy and needed help with check in but the one staff did the best they could during a busy afternoon! Had to find the heater as it was turned off the the wind was blowing directly into the Lobby every time guests came in or out! Please fix the gas fireplace in lobby as it helps with heat. Otherwise, they had our rooms ready in about 90 minutes but forgot to provide us with some goodies for the long wait. Rooms were fine. Other guests were friendly and understood delays and higher prices as we were stuck waiting for I80 to open. Breakfast was the usual stuff but it was warm and tasty.
Our room had excessive humidity, after an all-day rain. Except for this tolerable problem it was the nicest room we ever stayed at, and the best value. Everything else was perfect. The people were genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful.
I really enjoyed the hotel. We were traveling with dogs and had a nice large room. We were on the first floor, lot's of parking easy access to the room. If I was passing through I would definately stay again.
When I travel between Nebraska and Oregon I stay at this Best Western. It is easy off/on the interstate, breakfast is good/plentiful, but most of all feeling safe is important to me. Restaurants are not far away and I can refuel across the street the next morning.
We used a trip advisor deal to book this hotel. When the desk person saw that we had not called Best western directly she became very rude. If you don't want peolpe to use an off site booker don't put you hotel on the site. Dirty sheet. Half use bottle of shampoo. Yuk. Coffee maker in the bathroom. Double yuk.
The staff at this hotel could try and be a bit more cheerful. Roon was adequate in size, but it had a connecting door to the next room which had no sound proofing at all. And our neighbour wasn't the quiet type. Quite a lot of noise from the hallway too. Breakfast room us quite small which seems to be a general issue with this chain. Location is in the middle of a truck parking area. Not many food options nearby.
Paid for pet. They said not allowed when checked in. Took 15 min to check in. TV remote wasn't there. Shower had issue and water was loud through pipes. Air conditioning broken. Lastly, it was loud.in hallway Slamming all night long. Will not stay again.
Stopped along the way back to Denver for my return flight to see some Wyoming sites and lodged here. No disappointment, top notch service and amenities. Convenient location and great value. More like a best western double plus property. Don't.miss this gem when in the area.
I am a Best Western Rewards Member. Most Best Westerns I have stayed at have been decent. My problem with Best Western is price. They used to be among the best value for their type of hotel. Now when I price compare I find them to be higher priced. I am tempted to cash in my rewards and go to a different chain.
The hotel staff treated us great during our stay in late August. The room and hotel accommodations were average, nothing memorable or exceptional. We did receive a handicap room even though we did not request one. Also, we did pay a premium for the room with there being a home University of Wyoming football game.
Really enjoyed the stay at Laramie. Staff very good, breakfast good and not far from all the interests, museums and restaurants. There is also the old prison close by, which also shows the workshop where prisoners made a variety of wares to sell to help fund the prison.
We have stayed at the BW Laramie almost every year (sometimes multiple times a year) and have noted that the rooms are under constant improvement, although we have never witnessed any of the work being done. This motel is the best value in Laramie--not the least expersive but very reasonable and one gets more for the dollar at BW Laramie. This time our room with very spacious with a sofa, two easy chairs, desk with a comfortable swivel chair, microwave and refrigerator, and additional room for luggage, includinng 2 (!) suitcase racks. I did not observe any repaires (none needed) but prior times any repairs have been done very well--contrary to many hotels.
We stayed two nights in August and we liked this hotel very much. The staff is friendly and gave us good tips about places to eat in town. The room was clean and quiet. We had a room with one queen bed, and it was spacious enough to include a desk, an easy chair and a small couch. This was good since we like to play board games after a day of hiking, and we need some space for that. The refrigerator was a nice size too, big enough to freeze our water bottles for the next day of hiking. We put our lunch cooler in there too. The hotel is close to truck stops, but we did not notice any noise. Breakfast was good. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, and those waffles you make yourself, along with cereal, toast, sweet rolls, etc, and fresh fruit. They even had soy and almond milk along with regular milk. It was a good breakfast for a day of hiking. Overall, we liked this place a lot.
Hotel was clean and convenient. The pool chlorine was awful. Breakfast was good and staff polite. A good stop for traveling family. Grandkids enjoyed the pool even though it burned their eyes. Close to UW and easy access off interstate.
Fair hotel room. Nothing special. The lighting in the rooms was not particularly bright. Near truck stops. If you're just passing through it's good for freeway access. We would have preferred to be closer to the college or the town so we could easily walk around and explore.
On a recent visit to this hotel I was quite disappointed in the breakfast. I have stayed here before and everything was fine. This time an hour after breakfast started the food in the chaffing dishes was lukewarm to cold. I'm hoping it was just a one time thing as I like this hotel. There was no way they could have passed a health inspection the morning I was there. Disappointing.
Loved this place! We stayed in a suite and had to use the pull out couch. I'm sure that could have been more comfortable but was fine for the kids. Our room was so clean and it had a great breakfast. I could not have ask for a better stay.
When we arrived they could not honor our requests because they said there were no request on our reservation. We check that out with Corporate and they assured us all reservation had the note. Anyway, we asked for an upgrade and was put on the third floor. For one night it was adequate and comfortable. The staff was not impressive very business only.
This was a last minute stop for us crossing the US after picking up our puppy. BW is notorious for putting all persons with pets in soiled roomsand this time was no exception. We specifically called out in our reservation NOT to be placed in a pet stained room. We arrived the BW was booked to capacity and the front desk late night checkin was very helpful and nice. We arrived at the room and it smelled funny but we first thought it was food from next door. We took our puppy out for last toileting and came back to the same smell. (Our puppy never had an accident in the room). After searching we discovered a very, very large spot of cold of animal pee from the previous occupant. Behind the closed door. The cleaning staff had to have smelled it, but did nothing. Our feet were also black from walking barefoot on the carpet. When we told the front desk they argued the room had just had the carpet cleaned on 7/23/19, and it was impossible. IWe suggested he himself go in and inspect all th towels we used to clean up the mess in the room with copious amounts of very dark yellow pee and the towels we used to clean our feet. He said he didn't need to because the room was clean. Wow! CALL YOUR CUSTOMERS LIARS OR JUST NOT CARE. We are long standing members of BW, but not any more!
Very nice, large king suite, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, lots of pillows, large spacious bathroom. This morning we went down for breakfast, very pleased! Waffles, sausage, eggs, biscuits (nice large biscuits) and gravy, pastries, yogurts, fruits, cereals.....very nice. Absolutely not complaints and we would be happy to return!
The hotel was clean and nice. The kids had a great time in the pool and they got all of their wiggle energy out before going to bed. Breakfast was good and we were on the road promptly. No worries, no hassles.
great place to stay when in Laramie - dog friendly - great field behind always stay here when i'm in laramie. breakfast is the usual eggs, sausage (could use a different protein once in a while) biscuits and gravy waffles etc.
This location has always been top notch and I recommend anyone staying within the area to book at BW in Laramie Wyoming. They make you feel as family! Thank you Ketan and the rest of the staff for making my family feel welcome and make them feel like they were at home!
We stayed during a recent college orientation trip. Hotel is right off the interstate, and while it's at the far West end of Laramie, the trip time to campus is still less than 10 minutes. Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked for extra pillows and towels, they were delivered quickly. I felt the room was as expected size wise. I used the desk space to do some work, my wife and daughter camped on the bed to watch a movie, then I grabbed the chair. Continental breakfast on our last day was less than expected. Standard waffle maker, but that was about it. Bacon was missing, being cooked/replenished. Sausage looked dried out. Some highly processed pastry didn't look appealing. No cold cereal option. We chose not to eat, as did at least one other couple who entered the same time we did. The experience was not what I expected. Will that deter us from returning? No. We'll be back.
The staff was very nice and attentive. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection of hot and cold foods. Overall a good place to stay.
Great room, great price! Staff is amazingly friendly and courteous! We felt welcomed and valued from the start. Slight issue with hot tub being down, however, it was fixed within hours. We had to skim and clean the water. Recommend a little cleaning in both public bathing areas. However...absolutely recommend this location and it's amazing staff.
We had a total of 6 people, divided into two rooms (4 adults and 2 children). The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. It was disappointing that the pool was dirty and the hot tube was not in service. The breakfast was amazing, with multiple options, such as waffles, eggs, sausage links, sausage biscuits and gravy and more. We DID have the option for coffee but others were complaining because they ran out at 7am.
Had a lovely room that included a king bed, sofa, easy chair, desk and office chair. Also 2 suitcase stands, ironing board and iron, and good lighting. Bathroom had plenty of counter space. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Located right off Route 80, a few miles from downtown Laramie. Definitely recommend to all travelers.
Nice hotel but not for the handicapped. Rooms are on second floor at the end of the hall and there is a tub shower, not a walk in. Also, bed is high and hard to get onto when you have a disability. Otherwise, a clean place with breakfast.
I travel a lot. I probably spend over 60 nights a year in different hotels. I never know what I'm going to get on any first visit to a new place. This was a great first visit. Checkin was quick. The staff were all friendly and helpful directing me to different restaurants and activities. The staff were so outgoing our conversations got a little long winded. I will stay here every time I'm in Laramie.
Good rates in a town of gouging motels. DON'T visit Laramie during a football game or especially UW graduation. Rates R DOUBLE OR BETTER. Best Western held their regular rates for us on graduation week. Walls are thin, good hot breakfast VERY attentive and courteous staff.
My room was spacious and well kept. Breakfast was good. My only complaint was that the front desk guy asked me if I took the privacy sign off my door when I checked out. Of course I took it down. As I was working the graveyard shift, I really didn't want to wait for housekeeping every morning. If it wasn't for this I would probably have given the hotel 5 stars.
We didn't realize this was graduation time for the local collage. Front desk clerk was alone and very busy. I have questions and felt like she didn't have time to answer them. The room was fine and the breakfast was very good.
We had to stop in Laramie due to a snowstorm that closed the interstate. We went to the first hotel off the interstate. The rate was ok. The staff was ok, nothing special. The breakfast was minimal. Considering our predicament with the weather we were pleased to get a room. But the hotel was noisy. We could hear every step the people above us took. We could hear people talking in adjoining rooms almost as if they were in our room. This was my only real complaint but as I am a light sleeper it was a problem.
This hotel is right off the freeway. Has great parking. My room was on the 3rd floor "306" very big oversized room with 1 king bed. Bed was comfortable & the room was clean & everything was in good working order. Front desk staff were very nice & helpful. I would stay here again.
Clean, well kept. Check in was easy. I feel that the price was right. I made the reservation at the hotel about 30 days in advance. Nice room, with micro wave, and apt. sized refrige. Breakfast was like any other hotel, but my kudos go to the young gal that kept it stocked and clean. Thanks.
I have stayed here many times and have always revived excellent service. the rooms are very nice and bigger than most hotels. the staff has always been very friendly and helpful with suggestions as to were to eat and things to do. I have stayed in many places in Laramie but have found this to be the best for me.
The manager and staff went out of their way to make our stay with our dogs as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They were very friendly and truly endeavored to provide us with the best possible experience -- which we had. The location is easy to reach from I-80 as well as HWY 287. -- The next time we will be in Laramie, we will definitely be back.
We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by a sharp, pleasant, front desk clerk. The room was clean, modern, well maintained. The breakfast was very good. The dining room host was pleasant, kept it clean, and well stocked. We couldn't ask for anything better. We'll stay there again
Wasted trip! We came in for skiing and the big blizzard was about to hit Laramie wyo so we ended up heading home instead of staying. I tried to talk to the management about giving us a little break. I know I needed to pay some. We rented 2 rooms and they made us pay for all of it. No negotiation or anything very rude. We didn't even touch the rooms when I asked for some money back. Needless to say I'll never stay at a best western again. Not worth my time or money which seems to be all they are worried about.
After a negative experience at a different BW, I am very impressed by the hospitality shown here. The front desk agent did everything to accommodate us including opening up the breakfast nook for some fresh coffee at 9pm. The breakfast is top knotch and the rooms are spacious and welcoming. They we're able to fix a large mistake that the previous hotel messed up on regarding a rewards program, and did it effectively. 5 stars to Betsy (front desk) and best of luck in your management future! Amazing!
The hotel and my room was nicely furnished and clean and welcoming. The manager, Ketan is warm and hospitable which naturally enhanced to the friendly and comfortable and restful stay. Upon my arrival and to the date of my departure, It was a very satisfying experience. Thank you to Ketan and his staff.
I bought a car in Denver and was returning to Seattle in the winter. It was incredibly cold out 7-9 degrees with blowing snow. The facility was great, very comfortable and homey. The lady at the counter was most helpful and kind. My room was nice even with an armchair and ottoman. The breakfast the next morning was hot and hardy for all the stranded travelers. Good start to my day facing more blizzards before Salt Lake City.
Everything about this hotel was quite nice. The staff was courteous and efficient. The rooms were nicely arranged. Breakfast was better than average and seemed fresh. The spa was great. But the best thing about this hotel was the bed. It was the most comfortable bed I've found in any hotel. The hotel is conveniently located to I-80. Highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.
This hotel was in great shape. It was very clean and up to date. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The Room was comfortable and cozy. The beds were nice and comfortable. The t.v. selection was great. Shower was nice and hot.
This is a good example of the updated Best Western brand. Check in was easy with Betsy. They have a great reward member rate. The room was nice and had a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, and muffins.
We were in town for a soccer tournament. The hotel was conveniently located to town. Very clean and very comfortable. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very good accommodations and great value for the price paid per night.
We had car trouble and needed a place to stay. The folks at the Best Western in Laramie smoothly checked us in, were sympathetic, offered advice, and allowed us a little extra time the next day to finish our car arrangements. The rooms were clean and quiet and the internet ( a necessity when seeking repair options) worked well. All in all a good stay with great people!
We got stuck passing through in Laramie, due to weather. Hotel was nice and accommodating. clean and decorated well. Wish that the pool was open later, and that it was better kept. The bottom of it was chipping away so there was a lot of loose gravel coming up in the pool and on your feet. Other than that it was good.
The customer service was excellent. Very clean and quiet. We were traveling back honme from attending a funeral. The stsay was very comforting after being on the road for almost a week. The horel was had easy access.
We stayed one night on our extensive US trip. The hotel was easy to find and there was more than enough room for us in the car park. The room was a good size and everything was clean and fresh. We used the hot tub and pool area, and both were very welcome after our long drive. The breakfast area was clean and tidy and had everything that we needed. We could even see deer roaming in the field behind the hotel as we munched our toast. A good location, just off the I-80, and a handy gas station just next door when we set off again. Definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel was right off I-84. Rooms were nice and the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was very good and the room and counters were clean. This is located on west end of town, which was great as we headed west out of Laramie early the next morning.
Staff were excellent, room clean and ready to go for this very weary traveller, everyone did the best they could to accommodate all my needs - great place and location was easy to get to. Room was clean and the noise transfer from room to room was minimal - not like other hotels I have stayed in.
This hotel is located right off the interstate. It was quiet and clean. the room is very basic but did have a micro-wave and refrigerator. The breakfast was simple but they did have waffles. I was pleased with our stay and would book this hotel again.
We were in town for a sporting event. The hotel is clean and convenient to get to. The staff was friendly however there was a language barrier with the housekeeping staff but they were friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again. The only criticism is the massive fluctuations in rates. Thursday's price was 89.99 to Friday's price of $152. They were still cheaper than many of the other nice hotels in town.
We enjoyed our stay very much. When we encountered a wet carpet in our room because of it having been cleaned earlier in the day the front desk was more than happy to assist us in changing rooms. They even upgraded us. We were able to test out the new mattresses and they were extremely comfortable. Enjoyed the cleanliness and the breakfast as well.
After checking out the reviews for the hotels in Laramie we decided on the Best Western. It is a newer hotel right off I-80 on the north side of Laramie. The bed was very comfortable....the room was quiet. The breakfast was good as in most Best Western hotels. Just across the street is the Loves gas station making it convenient to gas up and hit the road the next morning.
We enjoyed our stay very much. When we encountered a wet carpet in our room because of having it cleaned earlier in the day the front desk was more than happy to assist us in changing rooms. They even upgraded us. We were able to test out the new mattresses and they were extremely comfortable. Enjoyed the cleanliness and the breakfast as well.
Very nice property. Nice comfortable rooms equipped for working on the road. Good staff and very good breakfast to start the day! Also nicely situated for visiting historic downtown Laramie and working at the University of Wyoming.
It was a good size, clean room. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. It was easy access to highway exit and gas stations. The TV remote allowed closed captioning which is a plus for us, so we will return on future trips.
Pretty typical Best Western experience, Pet friendly, Parking across the street for big trailer. Safeway deli a few blocks away (drive - not walk) We had Thai food delivered on our east bound trip. Fuel across the street. Really convenient for us traveling with a large dog. Lots of area for dog to choose "the right spot". Quiet AC
Awesome! Everything was perfect as we've come to expect at Best Western. They are our preferred lodging choice. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant staff & a hot buffet breakfast. Best bang for your buck every time!
I stayed here for one night after a few nights at a smaller hotel outside of town. At the other hotel, the room temperature was always off, the bed was terrible, and there was a ton of noise. Cleanliness and room amenities were ok, but not great. Then I arrived at this Best Western for my last night in Wyoming. The staff was very friendly and professional and accommodated a special request I had with no fuss. The room was large and very clean, and had a refrigerator and microwave, which was unnecessary for this stay but which would have made a huge difference at the prior hotel. The first thing I did was set the thermostat to a temperature I wanted and take a nice nap in the comfortable bed. It was very needed after the poor sleep at the other place. Later on, the staff gave me some good advice re local restaurants, which saved me a lot of time. I noticed a wall of toiletries and other travel-related items for sale in the hotel's lobby. Very traveler oriented. In short, I'm thankful that this hotel is the way it is. It allowed me to refresh myself and relax after the prior bad hotel.
We stayed here because there was no place closer to the University. It wasn't bad. A little outdated, but bed was very comfortable! There was some improvement necessary in the bathroom, looks like just a bit of water damage, but it was clean. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was quiet. Would stay here again if needed to.
I won't rant about the deficiencies (there are understandably several in a building of this age). The hotel is conveniently located just off the Interstate without being overly noisy. The property is a dated three-story structure that has not been updated to BW-modern. When you stay here, just put on your WayBack Hat and you may be able to tolerate the strong chlorine odor that permeates the 1st floor hallway. Worst ding: the breakfast was inferior to all other BW's we've frequented on our western jaunt. But that's not a full deal-closer if what you're looking for is a quiet, comfortable bed for the night.
Laramie is a funny kind of place...Its a friendly town, but you get the feeling there is not a lot going on there. You feel sort of out of wherever anything is happening. This motel was clean, friendly staff on desk, all amenities were there wifi, coffe, making machine ,ice machine etc .Would recommend this place for a comfortable stop over
My husband and I stayed at this property last night. Ken at the front desk was friendly. The check in process was fast and efficient. The bed was super comfy, and the room was clean and quiet. We rested well! We used the pool and hot tub area and enjoyed our swim. The common areas of the hotel were clean and well kept. The breakfast was great, lots to choose from, eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, they even offered soy milk. I was impressed with this property and definitely would return.
The price was a bit more than I would like to pay but we had a 2 king suite with hide-a-bed and it is Laramie after all. The entire property was immaculate, Willy Whiteglove would be very hard-pressed to find any detail out of order. We enjoyed comfortable beds, the clean pool and hot tub - which was hot (a nice surprise). Top Notch breakfast. The gal that checked us in was just super, even suggesting we park our motorcycles under the veranda as a storm was brewing up. She's what pushed my vote to five stars.
We've been stopping in Laramie on cross-country tours for many years now, and we've always had a good experience at the Best Western. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and always willing to help make your stay more enjoyable. Breakfast is excellent. We've never used the indoor pool, but it looks stisfactory.
Fantastic experience at the Laramie Best Western. The check-in was amazing. The young lady was so helpful with information about Laramie and invited us to park our bikes near the front door. Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is also a great complementary breakfast with a lot of choices. Thanks to the team at the Laramie Best Western. Very biker friendly too! When I am through Laramie again, I will look no further and return to your hotel!
We have been travelling over 25 years to visit family in KY, IN, IL, and NY. We have always stayed at a Best Western. We have found the hotels clean, nice large rooms with comfortable beds, variety breakfast foods
We have stayed here a few times in the last 8 years and the staff has never disappointed us. They are always friendly and helpful. the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast enough to get you back on the road..
great place - great help - i always travel with my dogs, i always have extra sheets for the beds, couches, chairs. the cleaning staff took my sheet from the bed. i went to the front desk and let them know - well they gave me another one to use. When i checked out they had found mine and returned it. The only dislike about the hotel is the towels, too thin.
Clean comfortable beds, a bit unfriendly wifi system, breakfast was ok , several items 'rsn out' and the breakfast room was small and we had to wait for a table at 8am Air-condition fine and NOT noisy as we have in other motels on route
On our annual road trip from Reno to Winnetoon, NE, we always stay in Laramie, WY. We again stayed at the Best Western Hotel in Laramie just off of I-80. As usual, it is well maintained and very clean which is my #1 concern. Typical room that was very comfortable, breakfast is included, and a nice pool/hot tub that was being enjoyed by a family. We will definitely stay here again next year. You can't go wrong with most Best Westerns.
After driving over a thousand miles the first day of our 6,000 plus trip west. This was a very welcome Oasis. Laramie is usually a very windy place! Not this visit though. So calm and beautiful! The Hotel is very nice inside and out. No nearby restaurants. Just a five to 10 minute drive away. One fast food place at the Truck Stop across the street. More being built close by. The room was great. Very roomy and decorated nicely. Beds comfy, maybe a little hard for some. Bathroom very clean as well as the whole room. If anything negative it would be the toilet. Way to low for many people. A common problem at many hotels/motels. Breakfast was very good with nice choices of food (Waffles, eggs, biscuits &Gravy- my fave, and more). The evening staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended the best place to eat (The Library). The morning man wasn't friendly at all! Highly recommend this place!
There was never enough non owner staff to do work. Breakfast girl (poor girl) was not properly trained to operate coffee machines and food was of poor quality ( Not girls fault. Owner was saving pennies) and she had to minister the front desk at the same time as she was only non owner staff on hand.
The tv wasn't working in my room. The desk clerk promptly moved me to a different room but later in the new room I discovered the toilet wasn't working as it should. Paint was peeling on wall above the shower . The air conditioning was typical for a hotel, to noisey to leave on. Over all I was disappointed .
This hotel experience was really very comfortable. It is located more toward the outskirts of town by some other hotel properties. So, if you are looking to be close to the downtown area, that might be a problem but it is right off the freeway. In fact, I don't recall seeing any modern hotels in the downtown area. The manage and desk clerks here were among the friendliest that I have encountered. All the amenities were very nice and everything is clean. Hallways were nice and quiet. The room lighting was more than enough, which I like to have for reading.
Was a great stop after a very long day's drive with high winds. Better than average motel. The bed was very comfortable and linens were of better quality. Breakfast gave you a good choice of breakfast items. Would stay here again.
We booked this motel on a long road trip as it was in the a good location for us to stop and I prefer the Best Western Motels for cleanliness, and comfort and breakfast. This particular motel room we had was difficult to regulate the temperature. too warm then too cold, finally we decided to get some blankets. the room was clean, and staff was friendly.
Very disappointed in this BW-does not compare with any that we have stayed in and we have stayed at numerous BW's throughout Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico and Texas. Very poor customer service and rooms were a disappointment.
This property is right off the freeway but not really near the eateries. Ok accommodation but we should have gotten dinner before we got here. Staff saved the day with a pretty good Chinese delivery option. Fair amount of truck traffic as there are some small truck stops across the street so ask for a room on the far side.
Did not have advance reservation but they gave us the advance rates! Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff gave us good advice for local restaurants. The usual items for breakfast&t did appreciate the bananas.
Consistently friendly service. Quiet location but still easy access on and off freeway. Clean accommodations with helpful staff.. prices are reasonably. Only way to improve would be if restaurant was within walking distance
This hotel is close to the interstate, it was very clean. The staff was very friendly, especially Mike who did our check-out. The mattress in our room was a little hard, but bearable. Ask for a room away from the elevator if possible, were across the hall from it and it was pretty noisy all night.
A great place to stay while visiting the Snowy Range. A good breakfast to start the day. Hot tub and pool where very nice after skiing. Rooms were clean and staff helpful. Close to the interstate and restaurants for supper.
I was a bit apprehensive about booking given the 2.5 star rating. After my stay, I really don't understand that rating at all. This hotel is right off of the interstate and 3 blocks from Hwy 30 in Wyoming. The staff was very nice, the entire building was very clean (I thought it was a 2 yr old facility, but in fact it's about 10 yrs old). Our double room has a mini-fridge and microwave, and the wifi had plenty of bandwidth for everyone using it. I'm generally not a fan of the under the window heating/cooling units in most hotels, but this one ran quietly and kept the room at a steady temperature. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary, but had the usual cereal, bagels, hot scrambled eggs, sausage links, make your own waffles, coffee/juice, and fruit plus yogurt options. All of the food was fresh and good, and everything was well stocked and again, very clean. The kids went to the pool on one of our 2 nights and thought the water was a good temperature, and the hot tub was nice. I noted 2 things (very very minor items) that weren't quite right at this hotel. First, our shower head made a really odd whistling noise on and off while showering. It sounded like a tea kettle. Then it would go away, but would come back a few minutes later. It didn't seem to effect the water temp or pressure, so it wasn't a big deal, just odd. The second thing is more of a Summer maintenance item. When the weather dries up, add some gutter caulk to the corners and seams in the gutters of the front door portico. Every joint leaked, dripping water on people and cars, and making an icy mess when the temperature dropped. Beyond those 2 very minor items, this is a really nice place. It's not in the center of town, but Laramie isn't that big, so you are never more than 10-15 min from anything. I would absolutely stay there again.
Clean, Clean, Clean. Beds are great for the road warrior. It is an older hotel (one of the original BW in WY), but has a ton of charm that the more modern places don't have. Staff bends over backwards to be helpful. Cozy little bar/restaurant area & indoor pool! BW member rate is reasonable for accomodations.
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Quiet and smoke free. Conveniently located near all the local area shops. And close enough to the highway where I didn't get lost. The decor was freshly updated and the lights were warm and bright.
The room was clean and quiet but we like to sleep in a cooler room 65-68 degrees. There weren't any blankets on the bed. We just about froze our toes off. Of course you don't realize this until you have been asleep awhile so blankets in the too Would be a plus! Accommodating of our dog and there was an empty lot to exercise her in the morning.
Stayed here several times in the past and always had positive experience traveling between Wisconsin and Nevada. Always good value and clean rooms. This time I was charged about 20 dollars more than usual and 13 dollars higher than internet prices. For a traveller only looking for a place to sleep and not using any hotel amenities I felt a little gouged. Gross stain on couch and unidentified material on carpet by bed. More upset by gouging. At the mercy of front desk at this time of night. I'll be changing my rest stop.
We booked our stay in Laramie back in December, 2017. Everything proved to be as advertised. We were greeted by Paige at the front desk who made us feel welcome immediately. She suggested a local restaurant that was closed, but we found one on Trip Advisor that was very good. This is a nice hotel not unlike your typical Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. You will be comfortable in this nice clean place.
This hotel was priced very reasonably. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an indoor pool with a hot tub. The hotel is conveniently located just off I 80. The breakfast was very good also. Waffles, pancakes, sausage etc. We would stay here again
We have stayed here twice now for soccer tournaments. It is clean and staff is friendly. I like that there is a continenental breakfast when we are in a hurry to get up early for games. I would stay here again!
Our daughter attends UW and we live 6 hours away. We have stayed at several places in the past, but for the last three years when we've visited, we've stayed at the Best Western. Our stay is always very pleasant, the staff friendly and accommodating, the rooms clean, quiet and comfortable and the breakfast filling. We have enjoyed the hot tub on the nights when the football games have left us chilled. Our daughter graduates this spring, so we will be staying here one last time in May.
I can say that it was an island in the middle of the ocean, since I had hours of traveling from the State of Texas. The staff was respectful, gentle and very friendly, the continental breackfast great. Thank you What I saw with a bit of sadness that the town itself is a little neglected, the surrounding streets, are neglected, hopefully put more attention
Stopped here due to the weather conditions. They had a pet friendly room, which I needed for my service dogs. The room was cozy, plenty of room and comfortable. There was noise from out in the hall and the guests upstairs but no more than any other hotel I've stayed at. I would definitely stay here again!
Love that they had on site laundry On the Highway so easy access Good snack availability I? was on 3 rd floor very quiet Nothy fancy but clean with all refrig and a coffee maker and microwave very convenient and good value
Check in staff was not friendly. Room was just okay. The worst was the free breakfast! The food that was supposed to be hot was Luke warm at best and the biscuits were COLD (still partially frozen). I personally was concerned about bad or spoiled food due to the smell of some of the items. All the tables were dirty and the staff was MIA!! Would Not recommend this establishment.
The hotel was convenient and safe, right off of I-80. It was a great place to stay after getting caught in a snow storm in Laramie; plus the interstate closed until 11:30 am the next day. Staff were nice. The hotel clean.
Was here for homecoming. The beds were comfortable, the hotel was quiet and the breakfast has a great variety. The staff was very nice and I? would stay here again. Highly recommend for families as well.
I wish I remembered the name of the front desk woman who checked my mother and I in, she was very kind, made us feel very welcome, and we got veterans discount because my father is a Navy Veteran. Had a tasty breakfast and was very pleased staying here for our first night on our cross country journey.
I liked this hotel except for a few minor things. First of all upon check-in there is a language barrier for English speaking people. The internet was very slow and the faucet leaked. But the breakfast was very good
This review is based on a 33 night road trip, staying at 22 properties, so is relatively objective. We stayed for one night in September. Easily found from the I80, with plenty of parking. Gas station and a Wendy's nearby if needed. A 5 minute drive to downtown. Friendly & efficient reception staff. Spacious, clean, well equippped & comfortable room with a view over fields to the rear of the hotel rather than road at the front. Quiet enough to sleep with the window open rather than aircon. Decent swimming (rather than just a splash) pool and hot tub. Good wifi. Excellent breakfast, with choices of freshly cooked eggs that hadn't been left on the hot plate too long, fruit & cereals. An excellent example of a well managed chain hotel, perfect for travellers such as us. Recommended
Sitting in our hotel room. So far the only negative comment would be that the bed linens and towels are a bit warn and show lots of usage over the years. The room is clean and comfortable. The gentleman that checked us in was very pleasant and very efficient. We checked in earlier than check in time without any hassle or problems. We will probably stay again the next time we have the need to stay in Laramie, wyoming.
The hotel is clean on the outside and the inside with wonderful decor to make you feel like your staying in an upscale hotel. Only issue I had was the mattress was a bit too firm for me but that doesn't warrant a bad review. The staff was very helpful and professional and I wish I got the chance to state longer
Located near Highway 80. Nice and helpful front desk staff. Clean room with comfy queen bed. Fridge and microwave in room. Needed a place on cross country drive for a night. Will definitely stay there again.
stayed here two nights, October 2017. our second stay at this property.. found it to be both comfortable and clean. Despite all the nearby truck traffic, the rooms are quiet. The morning breakfast is at least as good as any other mid-level hotel property breakfast. It included eggs, pancakes and waffles. easy check-in/check-out.
We stayed here as we were traveling though and enjoyed our visit. Room was nice and quiet. We didn't like how the pillows were, but made do. Shower was nice. Fitness center was nice, had the basics, treadmill, stepper and a weight machine. Breakfast was your basic continental breakfast. If you want something more substantial, you would need to eat elsewhere, but it gets our day going. Pool was not heated, but the hot tub was nice. However, be careful if you use the hot tub as the steps are narrow and if it is on when you go now the steps, you may miss one. Complimentary USA Today and local paper. We would stay here again if passing through.
Breakfast was Luke warm, tables were dirty, the cheese had a bad odor.. room was clean and for the price I paid was ok.. the property has a truck stop one being built and the other on the north side of it.
Overall solid, positive experience with this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good, as far as hotel breakfasts go. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient.
This was a great place to stay. Don't let the big Super 8 sign out front fool you, it's a Best Western and it was super. I stayed in basic room and it still had a microwave, fridge, DVD player, and even things like stationery and envelopes. Can't beat that for the price. Clean and close to interstate. Would certainly use again.
Overall the hotel is always clean and easily accessible; however the mattresses need upgrading as it was rather uncomfortable. Room was clean, staff very pleasant and the breakfast area was a bit small, but all the food was more than adequate. The pool and hot tub were clean and sanitary. Would recommend.
Rooms were clean, customer service was nice and accommodating, breakfast was good with lots of choices and outside appearance of the hotel was good. Only complaint, beds weren't as comfortable as would have liked and refrigerator not real cold.
The headboard was dusty. The nightstand was sticky and had sugar on the desk. Also the bathroom had several sticky area's.The sheets were clean. The TV channels were limited to watch. The card reader had to rekey several tes.
This was our first time to spend the night in Laramie. I am glad we chose this hotel. Convenient to WyoTech. Everything was well kept and clean. Staff was very accommodating. We will definitely return to the location again.
Room was clean and grounds very well kept. Staff was helpful and courteous. After this trip Husband and I decided we would always try to stay at Best Western hotels. We ordered take out from truck stop next door. If you take room key you get a discount.
Seriously, this is a great place to stay. Is it the most modern? No. Is the decor a little 1970s? Sure, but Laramie is an old railroad town and a lot of it is a bit outdated. But that doesn't make it any less comfortable or clean. We had a great 4 night stay here while we were in town for a wedding. The staff is courteous and hard working, the rooms were clean and quiet, the beds were super comfortable - really, what more do you need? And as an added plus - the free breakfast is legit. Probably some of the best hotel scrambled eggs I've had. Yes, it's the small things in life...
Just spent four nights with family in four rooms at this great hotel in Laramie for a wedding. Had several other guests from out of town that stayed here too. All of the reservations were made months in advance and everything was correct when we all checked in at different times. Rooms are kept very clean, breakfast is good and well stocked, and all of the employees are very nice. Great place to stay!
Helpful service with the front desk. Clean & cozy lobby and spacious room. NIce pool, fitness center, & d.i.y. laundry center. Very good coffee and big buffet breakfast. Great sight-seeing near Wyoming Tech University.
This was a nice place to stay in Laramie. The breakfast was especially good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is an easy location, right off the Interstate. But it was quiet with no noticeable outside noise.
This was a great little hotel for our USA road trip with local amenities close by. The room was a good size and very comfortable and no noise from outside. Having a buffet breakfast was also a bonus as it saves money going out and time finding somewhere to eat.
Like most Best Westerns there is the giant portico to drive up to. It may really help in winter because cold and snow is common in then. The drive into Laramie took us right to the inn but we were a little soured to see the truck stops surrounding the location and I 80 close enough to hear with the window open. An advantage of the location is its closeness to town. There are several older motels in the heart of Laramie and newer brand name ones about the same distance from the heart of town as Best Western is. But as always really nice folks work there and take care of the rooms to keep them clean and comfortable. While we there one staff member went over the top to help us out and that was deeply appreciated.
We stayed at this hotel when we went to drop our daughter off at the University of Wyoming. We loved this place. It was very clean and pleasant, and all the staff were immensely obliging. Their hot breakfast was inviting and we could look forward to it. The bathroom were cleaned regularly, and the coffee service in the room was kept filled. They even let our daughter stay with us a couple of days. The manager was very approachable and helpful when we needed to find out about things in Laramie. The staff were also very nice and helpful.
This was our second time staying at this hotel and we have enjoyed our stay both times. It is very clean and staff was very friendly. It is easy on and off the freeway and access to town and vicinity is good.
Visited Laramie for a wedding...on the same weekend as the first football game (great fans Cowboys!). Chose this hotel, which is not located centrally but on the outskirts of Laramie, but that became an asset - such a nice, quiet night and sleep! The rooms and lobby look recently refreshed with refrigerators in room and free breakfast buffet/continental. (included hot food - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy and make your own waffles/pancakes.) Would definitely stay again!
Could not have been more welcoming for a weary traveler. Everything about this place was top-notch, especially the warm welcome and service I received upon checking in in the wee hours of the morning. The hotel itself is clean, attractive and inviting, and my room was nicely furnished and more importantly, nice and quiet. Relatively simple access from the freeway and the price was right. Having stayed in many lesser hotels in town on previous visits, this one will now be in the regular rotation on future road trips.
The hotel itself is great. Check in was quick and the front desk person, Betsy, was friendly and helpful. Our room, 109 (double $154), was spacious and clean. There was plenty of counter space for our toiletries, plenty of electrical outlets. The a/c was quiet. Our room had an interior entry. The property is about a half mile from the highway and offers plenty of free parking. We also had free wifi, a fridge and microwave. Our particular room overlooked the parking lot and road, but we did not hear any noise from the highway. The only complaint we had was about a room across the hall having 2 small dogs that barked throughout the night. We ran into the owner the next morning, but she didn't offer an apology for her barking dogs. Breakfast was the typical hotel fare, fake scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles and pancakes.
I stay at the Best Western for work and enjoy it very much. The location is outside of town (but close and convenient) and quiet. I love that I can bring my dog when I stay. Mike the GM is fantastic and very accommodating. I recommend for a night in Laramie.
The hotel is not far off of I-90, easy access. The hotel is at first easily mistaken as a Super 8 because the Super 8 sign is right out on the corner where you would expect the Best Western sign to be located. The room we were in wasn't bad, it had two queen beds in it, the one we tried to sleep in was too soft for our liking.....you sink down in it. The pillows are very short, almost square. The room was average, the hotel was average, looks and feels at least 20 years old. Needs an update. Breakfast area was a little less than average in my opinion, food offerings were basic.
Late night arrival; unexpected stop. Excellent service, great room and breakfast. Staff superb! Traveling with pet and excellent accomodations around the hotel for dog walking. Extremely clean and well groomed landscaping
Not impressed, have a service dog? Expect to be on the first floor or in a room that is attached to the elevator, making for a noisy morning. The toilet seat was broken, there is no room for trailer parking.
We had a great time here. We only stayed two nights and didn't get a chance to check out any of the amenities outside of the free internet and free breakfast. The room was clean, everything in the room worked, the TV had plenty of channels (in HD), the staff was very friendly, the bed and sofa were comfy, the location was easy to get in and out of, etc. We were very happy with our stay and would love to return!
I have stayed here 4 different times a d each time has been excellent. I I I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Our daughter is at the University of Wyoming so we will be back many times. Thank you.
Very nice facility, close to interstate. My room was very nice and the staff was great. There is some construction going on near the hotel, but it didn't cause any problems. Many choices for food delivery if you don't want to venture out. I would definitely stay here again.
Arrived late evening, check in was quick and efficient. Property was clean and well maintained. Room had two queen beds with couch, microwave, refrigerator and flat screen TV. Beds were comfortable. Location was great close to 80. Manager Katan was very friendly and thorough and provided great customer service. Breakfast was well stocked and contained traditional Best Western options. We would stay here again.
I was charged $229.00 (plus taxes) for a room that has a base rate of $150.00 (which I discovered on the door of my room after checking in). Even the base rate of $150.00 is high considering; 1. Laramie is not a vacation destination. 2. The room had fewer amenities than the one I had three nights earlier in Chadron NE. Paid a rate of less than $160 for the Chadron BW (base rate was under $180) that had a separate living room with its own TV set, a refrigerator with bar, and a veranda, all items not part of the room I stayed in Laramie. 3. Chadron was geographically closer to the eclipse totality path than Laramie was. 4. While the small "living room area" is a nice addition, it is a bit far from the TV set. Overall, the room is nice and the bed was comfortable. BW room could have more available electric outlets.
Excellent stay even though it was just over night. I was traveling alone, with my dog who was welcome too. I felt extremely safe. Mike (Manilal) welcomed us and was great. Nice room - clean and new. Would highly recommend !!
After a 14 hour drive with my family, we arrived at this motel about 7:30 PM. The check in staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. Upon checking into the room, we found it exceedingly clean. The décor was nicely done. As it was cool outside, we wanted to open the windows. It was nice to be in a motel where opening the window is still an option. This was in stark contrast from the motel we stayed at in Columbia, Missouri. In the morning we found the manager, Mike, very accommodating. A friend our ours met us in the lobby and we occupied space for at least three hours. We were able to share coffee with my friend. Based on our last stop mentioned above, we looked over the room very carefully. It was hard to believe but there was nothing wrong with the stay, nothing, even the elevator was clean. If I ever find myself traveling to the Laramie area again, I will definitely book a room at this motel.
This hotel was great for the price. They check-in staff was not the most welcoming, but it was also pretty late at night. The room was very clean and well-stocked with basic amenities. The bed was comfortable, though slightly firm. The bathroom was spotless. I was assigned a room facing away from the freeway, so I heard no road noise. If I'm ever back in the area, I will certainly stay here again.
This Best Western was clean and the beds were fine. The internet worked, which is always nice. The location was a bit lacking in that there were no close restaurants except a Wendy's and SubWay. So if you want to have a dinner that is not fast food, you will have to travel a bit. There is a lot of construction in the area, so I think there will be more businesses in the future and maybe some restaurants. Our check-n experience was a bit lacking. The man was not unfriendly, but he was not the typical front desk person who welcomes people. We are Gold members and they are supposed to mention that and either give us extra points or a little package (usually two bottles of water and a snack). This was not done, and my husband later went to the desk to ask for some water, and then they remembered to give us the gift package. The rest of the staff was helpful. I hope the person who checked us in was just preoccupied. He was there for our check out and was much more personable.
My family has always stayed at Best Western hotels because we had never had problems. Mike the manager has a very poor customer service attitude. I can see from other posts that I am not the only one to say this. The beds are awful. Hard as a rock. My family didn't sleep well at all due to the construction outside of our window. As for the inside pool. Very little. The smallest pool I've seen. Due to this experience with Best Western my family will be looking for other hotels. They have lost my family's business. Outdated rooms. I hope this saves a family a headache.
Laramie is one very busy town. It has both the old west charm as well as the new and modern aspects. With this property being located near I-80 and close to great places to visit one cannot but help like the whole stay, whether one night or over several days. The property itself is what one comes to expect from a great Best Western property. It has all the amenities needed while traveling. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and all the great places to dine. For me their suggestion was highly rewarding. You must add the property to you travel list when in Wyoming.
Great location as you enter Laramie from the West. Super 8 stuck a big sign almost in front of the BW one, but we have been here before. Loved the higher sink vanity, and the offered computer cable for our laptop. Easy access to the main road into downtown for great coffee shop (Coal Creek) and restaurant (Altitude).
What more can you ask of a place to lie down for slumber? Breakfast buffet was good. Place was clean, clean, and staff were polite. I always get the handicap room because I like a grab bar in the shower/tub. If you were staying here and know for a fact your room does not have grab bars you should complain about this easy fix. At age 72 I don't want to fall washing my feet.
Very nice place with a great breakfast! Wyoming is a great place and plenty to see in Laramie, Wyoming. Lots of hiking and beautiful mountains to see. The clouds, rainbows are just beautiful. The BW there in Laramie is very nice.
This is on the edge of town, but a great place to stay. Top of the line for Best Western . You can get to any place in town quickly. Still building in this location so more eating places will likely come.
I did not receive any gift when I arrived nor was I offered anything. I also was under the impression that I was to receive some sort of discount for being a diamon select member but paid full price and I also received no points for my stay?
Overpriced and non accommodating. One queen bed. We asked for two. They wanted to charge us $39 to upgrade to two beds. We ended up paying $10 for a roll away bed. Small pool. One family was in the pool so there really wasn't room for anyone else
Quoted one price via the internet booking of arund $79.00+/- and was charged $152.00 on check out for one night only.. Attendant had to be awakened at 05:45 for check out, and showed up with his shirt unbottoned and sleepy eyed. Far from professional and courtesy was barely noticable. If you're looking to stay at BEST WESTERN LARAMIE, don't !!
I would give this hotel minus 5 stars. Will never stay here again and will tell all my friends not to stay here. The manager has the mentality that if you don't like it you can go elsewhere. Don't stay here, find another hotel.
Stopped over one night while on a road trip. We requested first floors but the hotel was full, instead placing us on the third floor by the elevator. The room was extremely large, very clean and quite. The staff was very helpful, advising that special events were taking place downtown and parking would be tough for dinner, recommending a place close to the hotel.
Very clean rooms, shower didnt have much pressure, the front desk people were terrible. I understand 1 was brand new but the other one had attitude and wouldn't help the new girl out. Breakfast was the standard hotel food nothing specail but was decent.
We stayed here on our way to West Yellowstone, MT. The rooms were really nice. The staff was awesome, especially Taylynn (maybe misspelled). My daughter really enjoyed racing me in the pool. She liked the hot tub. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is because we stayed at a Best Western Plus in Colorado and it had an omelette bar. I shouldn't hold that against them. I'm changing my rating to a 5 star.
Represent the community, the history and the uniqueness of Laramie, Wyoming. Provide a western flare, there are so many ways you could inexpensively decorate the lobby and exterior to say your here Big Sky Country!!!! Provide a western breakfast, a variety of hot eggs, meats, potatoes, that sends customers out to their next adventure or the days business with a contented smile and, or invites customers to return.
Had a great stay. Would stay again if we travel that way. Hotel was clean and employees were very friendly. If you are in that area make sure you check for vacancy. Good value beds are comfortable and clean!
Stayed for nigh of rest after traveling all day; was greeted with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Room was clean and provided everything we need. Convenient, right off the interstate. Would stay again if traveling through.
Everything was great except for the breakfast. We thought it would be like a buffet. The beds are comfy especially being on the road for a long period. The room looked amazing. The breakfast was just okay... We thought it would have fresh eggs and some bacon. The eggs were mushy and didn't taste so good.
Rooms were nice and clean, the beds very comfortable, breakfast was very good, our overall stay was very nice. The area was very quiet and clean.we would recommend this place to others and would stay there again!
Talk about friendly and professional staff - this hotel fits the category. Hotel was easy to get to just off the highway. There is some construction going on across the street, but you could not hear anything. I asked the front desk attendant if it had just been remodeled as everything from carpets, to furniture to the comfortable beds looked brand new. He just laughed and said no, we are just very proud of how well our staff works to keep everything in top shape. Talking to others at breakfast, they too, thought everything was new. Believe me....it shows.
I have stayed in probably every hotel in Laramie, and this is definitely one of the nicer ones. The room was very clean and comfy. The walls, doors, and ceilings are thin. If you are given a room on the first floor, be prepared to hear people walking above you. I think we will stay here again. It was very clean.
Great hotel with professional staff. Easy location on and off Interstate, bed was really comfortable and the room was clean and nicely appointed. Next time in Laramie, definitely plan to stay there. Reasonable pricing.
We arrived late in the evening after a long day of driving and when we arrived there was the smell of fresh baked cookies. With our grandson that was Wonderful! So glad we made early reservations because the hotel was completely booked for the night. Our grandson was able to wind down with a bit of swimming and was well rested the next morning, rooms were quiet.
I've stayed at many hotels for longer than one night stays & The Best Western in Laramie, WY is hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had. The employees were friendly and extremely accommodating. The room, breakfast bar area, pool & hot tub were all extremely clean. The quality of the breakfast bar was one of the, if not THE best I've experienced. I honestly can not say enough about the positives I experienced during my week there and it was in June during thier peak season so that says a lot to me. They were quite busy and still took the time to make sure I had everything I needed, knowing I was a solo guest with my service animal. I would not hesitate to choose this exact location again when traveling through Laramie WY!
Friendly and easy access for support animal. Amazing breakfast with vegan options and alternative milk. Great wi-fi for work or play. Beds were clean and comfortable. Rewards card offered as well. Thank you BW
Loved the bed! Got the king suite on main floor and room was spacious and nice!! Breakfast was great and staff was courteous!! We will return and the price was reasonable!! Clean rooms w clean remote!! Like the clean remote!! Saves me having to spray Lysol everywhere!!!
Love the bathroom in this Best Western. There is ample room on counter and the door does not hit the toilet. The finishes were great and it was very clean. Everything was in working order. We did not get to use many of the amenities as we were on a time schedule, but everything looked great.
Stayed here on our way to Yellowstone. Just an overnight stay. Staff were very helpful and there was a good variety of breakfast choices which were included in the price which was very good value. We were also able to order in locally as we were too tired to go out.
We have traveled alot this year. Alot of places are good or okay always missing one element of satisfaction. The Staff and hotel rooms and breakfast in the morning felt like home. Location also had good restaurants around.
This hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was spacious, everything in the room worked as expected! The bathroom had a tub/shower combination which is a plus! Enjoyed our stay!
This is a nice hotel. We had good wifi, a nice breakfast, and a clean, comfortable room. To top off a great stay, my teenager forgot his wallet. I went back about 45 minutes later to see if he had left it in the room. The housekeeper on the floor had already found it, secured it in a big with the room number and date on it. How nice it was to find it!!!
I picked this place after reading great reviews on Yelp but they are not accurate. Terrible pillows, hard mattresses, poor water pressure, clientele in breakfast shady. I do not recommend this hotel because of the reasons listed. The biggest turn off was the clientele at breakfast, they looked like transients, both had no shoes, man had no shirt both looked dirty and were touching the food. The breakfast was ok but not GREAT like the yelp reviews stated, powered by the, yuk, cheap syrup not real maple syrup.
Hi. All of the BWs we have stayed at was better than this one. The big problem was even though i asked about hot water and coffee pots in the lobby and someone answered yes there really was NONE. Also the towels and sheets looked like they were well worn and very old. My wife was ready to leave but where to go so we stayed. BW meeds tl check this place out again.
First impressions are everything. The lobby was in a sad state. I dont believe the owners are able to see the dirt. The room was not too bad, but the kids running around the hallways all evening did not make for a comfortable stay. The breakfast room need attention. Things were just not up to par. The eggs were terrible. Tasted like they were powdered eggs. Shane on you.
A newer property. Grounds, and exterior were clean and attractive. Parking lot on three sides of the building only. Off site parking for large vehicles and trailers is present. Interior was spacious and clean. Rooms were as expected with up to date decor. Very clean. Breakfast was a little plain. Scrambled eggs were dry and crumbly ..overcooked.....again. breakfast layout was illogical, butter was no where near toaster or waffle maker, yet jelly's and syrup/batter were. Oh, wait, there it is in the bottom of the fridge across the room, rock hard....
very friendly employees, just off the interstate, easy to find, breakfast was good, hot tub was fun. would recommend this hotel to others. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when traveling through
Room was clean, quiet and reasonable price. Loacation is just off the freeway, but, did not hear any traffic noise. Breakfast was usual fate, but hot and constantly fresh. Only draw back was you needed to drive for restaurants.
We love the Best Western Hotels, you can always be assured that you will have a nice stay, in a nice, comfortable room. I don't like taking chances when staying at a hotel and have never been disappointed with Best Western.
This is a clean and well maintained hotel. Pleasant, courteous staff. Convenient location right off the I-80 exit, and 5 minutes to the University of Wyoming. Good place for an overnight stop or inexpensive extended stay.
Friendly staff, good attention to detail and cleanliness (especially for a budget-friendly hotel in a smaller city). After a long drive, it was exactly what we needed, and it was right off the highway and near some fun eateries (college town stuff). Surprisingly great!
Great value! What a nice place with employees who care. The breakfast was trademark BW and the indoor pool and Jacuzzi was just off the lobby. The room was a nice size and very clean. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Laramie.
Great value in a very clean place with great friendly people on staff the day we stayed ! Had no problems and a great breakfast included ! Would always stay in a best western if they all where run like this one !
Front desk claimed that our Priceline reservation was not paid and forced us to do a credit card authorization at 10pm as our crews do not have credit cards. Our office pays for the rooms and I felt the hotel tried to run a scam on us.
My wife and I travel a lot being retired Military. We stay at all the Military Bases when possible. But if one is not available we stay at the Best Western. You cant beat the service or price. The entrance and staff were so helpful when we asked what to do around the town. My wife and I travel every year across the US taking different routes. . We spend over a month on the road and stopping every 7 hours to sleep and rest. You cant go wrong with Best Western
The service given by this hotel was very good. When I arrived, the front desk clerk was busy keeping the counter clean, but attended to me immediately. She was very pleasant, and while I did not have a reservation, I was able to secure great accommodations on the first floor...a plus for a senior traveling with a dog. Room was very clean and large. All lamps worked, as well as great TV. The bed was so comfortable. Every BW has the BEST pillows! I felt quite secure. The next morning the full breakfast was standard, but the food was good tasting, coffee hot, yogurt cold, and rolls yummy. I will use again in future when making a trip across Wyoming.
The place is very well presented, big clean rooms, pets are welcome for a additional fee. The breakfast was great and the area and tables were cleaned as soon as they were open for the next group. The place was busy. However the best place was the pool area, Big and well lit, well maintained.
I really enjoyed my clean and cozy room in the Laramie Inn and Suites in Wyoming. This hotel had a nice breakfast and I would be pleased to come back and stay at this location again if ever I was in town. The staff was available and helpful there and it seemed to be a good experience for me and other coworkers staying at the facility. I would definitely come back.
Everything was great but the best was the pool & hot tub, well lit, big and clean. The room was also very nice and clean. Pets are welcome. Easy on and off the highway. Lots of parking. Typical fast food places are near by.
Stayed here for one night during a cross-country road trip from Ohio. As I am usually never let down by a Best Western, combined with the mostly positive reviews on TripAdvisor, I figured we couldn't go wrong. The hotel is conveniently located next to I-80, just off the interstate. It is a typical "box-type hotel" -- meaning that it looks pretty much like any other hotel built next to an interstate during the last 20 years or so -- but when it's just for relaxation and sleep, that's all I need. The room and bathroom were very clean, well-stocked with the various amenities, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare, but they do offer some hot options such as scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. It was perfect for grabbing a quick bite before hitting the road. Definitely worth the money (upper $70s), and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Very rude staff power went out in the hotel and the managers were very rude about the situation toilet ran the whole time we were there and the staff did not want to fix it bad to take the top off the toilet every time it was used to push the lever down so the running would stop they never even looked to fix it never got our room cleaned will never stay at a best western again
Card keys didn't work. Rewards program didn't get credit. internet kept dropping out . Tv & cable box cords all disconnected told maintance would fix in morning. wanted $25 deposit for coffee pot to make the free coffee in room. Pool not vented made motel humid and musty. Breakfast all dairy was warm , eggs were fake On check out was told they could not give me a receipt "Call your credit card Company" for one.
Stayed here overnight for the UW Football game. Check in was quick & friendly. Room was clean, the usual amenities, bedding etc. Good location. Breakfast was just fine, the usual - no complaints - would stay here again.
We booked on Price Line and due to this we were treated like second class guests. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Everything we asked for we were told there would be an additional charge. When we pushed back we were told that because we booked with a third party that there was nothing they could do to help make our stay more pleasant. The room itself was cleanish but not clean. We kept our baby off the floor for fear of what she'd find. Dirt and debris were obvious between the bed and nightstands and the sofa was obviously soiled with who knows what. Other highlights include a 50 degree room upon entry, a heater so loud it woke up the entire room at each cycle in or off, no Wi-Fi despite their advertising of having it, chipped and peeling paint in the bathroom, lukewarm showers for everyone, broken bedside lamps and the bed was so poorly made my wife remade it in the middle of the night. Despite the nice exterior and newly furnished common areas this hotel is at best a one star and at worst a hole in the wall more suited for hourly rates.
We traveled through and needed a affordable and clean place to spend the night. The night and morning staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was good for a continental. I would recommend staying here.
The location was desirable for our destination and return trip home. Close to stores, restaurants and service stations. Hotel was well maintained both inside out, parking was good and we were able to park close to the room.
We stayed here one night on our trip from VT to WA. The hotel is very conveniently located just off I-80. Seems to be a newer property and very well kept. The young man at the desk was very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
This is an average motel. Good value for the price. Pillows very uncomfortable. Ok for a quick stay overnight. Staff very nice and accommodating. I would stay again but bring my own pillow. There is a nice breakfast bar.
The rooms are clean and the staff is professional. It was much noisier than most places - walls appear to be thin. The hotel is right off I-80 which makes it convenient for those traveling through on the interstate and they do have pet-friendly rooms available.
Came here for a college tour. Loved the clean hotel so much, we changed our plans and stayed an extra night. Everyone in the staff including the desk have been super nice. Nice fridge and microwave with a dedicated cabinet so it isn't an afterthought. Pool and jacuzzi are also clean (and indoor). We have stayed in some hotels during this college tour that cost more, had higher ratings but were not as nice as clean. Hot breakfast is delicious.
Had to spend the night here because of a mechanical problem. Wife made reservation. Went very well. Close to highway and shop making repairs. Staff very good. Beds very comfortable. Would stay here again if in the area. Recommend this place.
Just another overnight stay along my way cross country. I generally choose Best Westerns because they have high standards and I have never been grossed out or had a bad experience in one. Everything was actually very pleasant about the stay with very small concerns. A couple of the towels were pretty dingy and grey looking - nothing I'd want to dry off with and there was some small maintenance that the bathroom was in need of but again nothing concerning. Clean, quite, good smelling room/halls. Decent breakfast (although I'd stay away from the waffles as the mixture's weren't right) The manager seemed very nice and friendly to me while checking in and out however when one of the other guests was complaining of the waffle machine he was a bit curt and actually blamed the guest stating her hands were dirty- just came off very rude in that instance. (maybe he was just tired from being there all night?) I'd stay here again comfortably.
My wife stayed at this Best Western on 10-19-16. We usually stay with Best Western when traveling and found the motels to be clean, comfortable and quiet. Found this motel to be up to the standards of Best Western. Motel price fair, rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and a good selection. Management was friendly and helpful. We were custom of these motels being family motels and quiet. However, after my wife checked in, discovered that a lot of construction workers staying there and they were very noisy. They were in the parking lot drinking and smoking and were very noisy. My wife stayed on the second floor and stated that the hall way was very noisy.
Staff is not overly friendly and not really willing to go out of their way to act friendly. Except one young man upon our check out. Most of the staff appear to be family and not really ready to work in hospitality. The building looks new and is really clean
Coming in off the road after driving al day through 60 mph gusts of wind. We made it to Laramie. It was so wonderful to be welcomed by Betsy. She could tell we were really tired, and really made a difference as she checked us in at the desk! Thanks for your kindness & smile, Betsy. The room was clean and welcoming! Such comfortable beds & a very clean bathroom and room. Nice furnishings. This was a welcome sight after our long drive.
We wanted ground floor but were warned that ground floor rooms were pet friendly, meaning while the rooms should receive a good cleaning, some people prefer to not stay in them. Honestly I didn't notice anything bad. The bed was comfortable, everything worked as it should and everything appeared very clean. Not sure carpet has been updated but probably reason for that. It's hard to give a 4 when comparing to recent BW we've stayed in who've had lavish makeovers, but I'm sticking with this one!
We stayed in a very sizeable 2-queen room. There was a microwave and refrigerator. The sink was inside the bathroom, but it was not cramped. The shower was okay, but the towels were like sandpaper. Breakfast was a very convenient 6:30-9 (I like an early breakfast). They had biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, and everything else that's "usual." There is a small heated indoor pool. There were two newspapers, a USA Today and a local paper (that was very nice). This hotel is very convenient to I-80.
Stopped for the night driving from Wisconsin to California. Best Western was close to the Interstate and well lit. I'm glad I stopped. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. Room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was very good.
This hotel was decorated and furnished much nicer tan n you would expect for this type of hotel. It was immaculate and had the most powerful shower head I ever had in a hotel. The check in was efficient and welcoming. The bed was softer than I am used to but that is a personal preference, nothing against the hotel
All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Clean hotel. Well lit parking lot. Nice King room. Comfortable bed. Good A/C. Good towels. Good water pressure. Plenty of shampoo, soap, etc. Better than average complimentary breakfast.
This hotel was clean and comfortable with helpful staff. It was a one-night stay on a four-day roadtrip, so it was a pleasant find. Staying in Laramie was less expensive than Cheyenne, just 40 minutes down the road. I'd stay here again.
Like many of its cousins the hotel is just on the edge of town so it's easy to spot from the highway. Rooms are clean and there is a pool and hot tub. The best feature is its close proximity and ease of access to downtown using the back road. We stopped here en route from Jackson to Rocky Mountain National Park.
Great location, just off the interstate, and a short ride downtown.Everything about our visit was perfect. The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly and welcoming after a long day on the road. We even extended our stay by a day for these reasons.
Our room was clean and comfortable. Bed was nice and I slept great. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Hotel was easily accessible off of the interstate and easy to find although there is another hotel sign next to theirs that is bigger and causes momentary issues until you realize the larger sign points you on down the road. Would definitely stay there again!
Room was very comfortable and clean. Close to Interstate. Complementary breakfast was good. Price was reasonable and was very modern and nice for a Best Western. Would highly recommend for overnight or visiting Laramie.
This is very nice motel on the northwest side Laramie. It is not close to downtown, but close to I-80. The rooms were quite acceptable, and the breakfast we very good. We enjoyed it. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent.
Overall visit was ok. Room, staff, and breakfast were acceptable. However, when I returned home I was shocked to see an additional charge to my card. I called the hotel only to be informed the charge was for 2 missing pillows. I have no way to prove I didn't steal the missing pillows so I am stuck with this charge. Either it was charged to the wrong room, or there is dishonest practice going on in this hotel.
We were here less than 12 hours but it was the best 12 hours in 2 days. Quiet, quick, and comfortable. Lots of pillows and clean linens on the beds. Good mattress. Clean bathroom with great shower and counter space. Garunteed clean remote. Also fridge and microwave. Breakfast was warm, plentiful and tasty. Also a super clean and spacious area to eat in. Had great parking with space for trailer, RV, or 5th wheel. Close to highway. Free Wi-Fi and cable.
This is our "go to" hotel for Laramie, WY, staying there about once per year. They have recently did interior and exterior face lifts, making it more attractive. A key aspect is that they have an active program of maintenance, including fixing scratches and scuffs rather than letting them go until there are many.
It's an OK place for your overnight stay and not too far from DT Laramie. Bed a little too stiff but it's want bad. The normal free breakfast served. Staff was nice. The BW sign is overshadow by another sign and is easily missed.
There was a commercial that ran for years. Russian immigrant. Comes to America. Best Western is his first encounter with Americana. They ask, "would you like a king or a queen in your room tonight, sir?" What a country. What great service.
the price of the suite was way excessive. it was not a sweet, but a standard room with a couch... staff was not helpful and had the attitude that our questions were an inconvenience. the hotel was nice and clean,
I was here in the course of 2 stays in 2 weeks. Every service that was offered was excellent. Very friendly and helpful desk staff. Good breakfast. The property was very clean and well maintained. The room was very comfortable and because I was here for business it was nice to be able to have a later check out.
This is an average hotel with predictable breakfast choices: waffles, cereals, etc. Rooms were clean. There is no appreciable noise even though the hotel is right off the highway. If you are looking for an inexpensive stop over place in Laramie this is a good choice.
First impressions count and the check in here was warm and friendly even though I had made a noisy entrance with my motorcycle and dumped it under the canopy. Even the fact I was standing there in an ever increasing pool of water after enduring a deluge for the past 100 miles did not phase them either. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and super comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Very good value for money and I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.
Hotel room was fine, but if you require internet, not the hotel for you. I contacted the front desk a few times, not helpful. The internet was unreliable at best. Internet was up and then would not be accessible at all. We had different devices we were using, so it was a problem with the hotel.
We walked in to check in after a chilly/windy motorcycle ride and the check in clerk was not very friendly or helpful. She's seemed very disinterested. When I called down to the desk to ask her something, she was busy with a customer, took my information and said she would call back. Good thing I didn't wait to hear from her because she never did get back to us. Room was clean and a good size, fitness center was okay but the breakfast left a lot to be desired. There are really no decent restaurants nearby to be prepared to walk a way or drive if you want some decent food.
Right of the freeway (which you don't always find in Laramie) and a clean, comfortable room. Well maintained property. The pool and hot tub were in good shape and heavily used. I would have appreciated knowing where the exercise room was - it's down one of the halls, just past the smallish breakfast room (we had trouble finding a place to sit, although had a pleasant chat with the couple from Texas with which we ended up sharing a table). The door said the exercise room didn't open until 7, which was much too late for me. I didn't try my key; sometimes they'll still let you in before the actual "opening" time. Staff was helpful and polite, breakfast well-stocked. The usual waffles, bagels, cereal, eggs, muffins, etc. I would stay again.
On a trip to Western Wyoming, we decided to stop after 8PM and had fortunately reserved at the BW. This is a popular spot and the line to check in was daunting, a testimony to the popularity of this lodging in a town full of motels. Everything went smoothly after we got to our room and the hot tub was nice and hot, just the way we like it!!
It is unusual these days to find a hotel where EVERYTHING meets one's expectation! After traveling all day, I walked in and asked for the lowest rate on a room. I was given a 10% AARP discount. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was more than adequate. One small change you might consider is extending the closing time of the pool from 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 or 11:00. Thank you for a nice stay!
Hotel was very clean, beds were the best ever!! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Other guests were so nice to us too. Pool and hot tub were great!! Great continental breakfast, great variety. Would stay again!!
Hotel is clean, but the location is not convenient if you would like to walk to a restaurant after a long day of driving. Pool is OK. Laramie is not what I expected from a college town. It seems rather run down, and worn about the edges. This hotel is supposed to be within a couple of miles of the university, but it has none of the feel of a college location except for the "Go Pokes" doormat as you enter the hotel. Maybe this place becomes more lively (too lively) when the football season is on and all the Cowboy alumni come in to watch the game.
The hotel was very clean in all the ways you expect it to be. We had a great stay, It had everything we look for in a quality Best Western hotel. I will stay there again when we travel west again through Laramie Wyoming.
glad to see a BW here. Easy access off I80. Newer, clean, good value. Mentioned a problem with the hair dryer and a leak on the shower head. the proprietor made a point of thanking me for bringing it to his attention at checkout.
Hotel is easily accessible off the interstate and an easy drive to the University of Wyoming. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good with make your own waffles, toast, sausages, hard boiled eggs, cereal, pastries, assortment of juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was relatively quiet and efficient. Bathroom was clean and pleasant. Only complaint was that I thought that at $100 the room was a little expensive, but perhaps that's the going rate.
best westerns can run from ick to great. this one pushes great. quiet helps when travelling with a great dane. good dog walk. easy to find. would stop again. breakfast the usual fare. does nothing for me.
This was a nice hotel conveniently located right off Rt. 80. Laramie has a great downtown with lots of shops for browsing which is why I chose to stay here for a night. I stayed in one of the handicapped accessible rooms on the first floor. The room, #108, had a nice view from the window. The room was clean and laid out well with a comfortable king sized bed and lots of extra room to get around. There was a upholstered chair with a reading lamp (great for those like me who get up and read in the middle of the night), a desk, dresser drawers, nice TV with lots of channels, fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Bedside tables were on BOTH sides of the bed which is always a plus. And there were TWO luggage racks which I almost never find in a hotel but which most couples need. The woman working the front desk was super nice and helpful. She gave us a map of the town and restaurant recommendations. Several restaurants will also deliver to your hotel door. We had the indoor pool and hot tub all to ourselves. The hotel does lose one star from my rating however for three reasons. #1 The pool and hot tub are closed from 10 p,m. to 9 a.m. I tend to be a midnight or an early morning (5 a.m.) swimmer so a 24 hour pool and hot tub is always something I look for. And #2) The workout room also has a 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. sign next to the door. My key card did open the door at 6 a.m. though and no one stopped me from using the treadmill an hour early. I don't know why those rooms need to be closed all night. I doubt that many people would use them during overnight hours but for the few who do its annoying to find the rooms closed. And #3: Breakfast. Breakfast was the usual pastries and cereals as well as waffles, fake scrambled eggs and sausage. Normally I don't complain about hotel breakfasts as I find them to be fine as a morning starter. This breakfast however, was pretty bad. The fake eggs, which can be okay, were made too soft and watery. I detested the texture. The sausage was barely lukewarm and, while it tasted good, I almost didn't try it because it was a dull bland brown color and didn't look very appetizing. The bananas also were way too overripe. The breakfast selections are not that different from other hotel chains. But the execution of it at this location needs a bit of tweeking. Stick with the cereal and danish and you'll be fine.
We looked forward to staying at this hotel as we've stayed here before. However, when I called ahead to make the reservation, the price quoted for AAA plus platinum rewards card holder, was way too expensive. Prices apparently have increased since our last visit. We called another Best Western in another town, along I-80, and booked a room $70 less. Guess we've found a new favorite.
We were traveling with our daughter and her three little ones. Found this to be a nice clean hotel. It is away from any shopping or dining places but just off the main freeway. Friendly, efficient check in. The room was nice and roomy with comfortable beds. Had a mini-fridge and microwave. The indoor pool area was clean but the water was a little too chilly to be real comfortable. The breakfast was good with waffles, scrambled eggs, and biscuits with gravy. One guest let her small children make some big messes but the staff cleaned immediately with a smile. There was only one ice machine and it quit working. In the middle of the it summer, that's a problem! We went over to the truck stop when we left and bought a bag of ice as we were traveling with small grandkids and needed to keep milk cool. Really no big complaints from us. We would be happy to stay here again.
Mike was very helpful, room was clean, sheets are soft. Good location right off the interstate, close to University of Wyoming. Also close to territorial prison museum which we enjoyed. Would return. Overall satisfactory experience.
Back story: Hubby (67) and I (62) stayed at this property while completing a cross-country trip with the grandkids (8 and 5). We'd never stayed here before so didn't know what to expect. ROOMS: +Large, well appointed +Fridge, microwave, flat-screen t.v. +Updated +VERY Clean -The vanity was NOT separate from the lavatory. This is no reflection on management, rather design. I always feel if the vanity is separated it makes the bathroom facilities more flexible AMENITIES: +Free WiFi +If needed, several well-stocked vending machines as well as a "snack market" in the lobby +/-Very clean pool & hot tub area with adequate towels provided. Again, a weakness in DESIGN not management, the pool is small. Load capacity: 14. BREAKFAST: +As with many other chains, this was a typical breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, etc . Nice to have hard-cooked eggs available as well as cereals, bagels, sweets and toast. +Very, very clean breakfast room with a dedicated employee keeping everything clean and filled +Although we didn't use this service, they have a 'grab-n-go' feature. Apparently, if you are not able to be in the breakfast during its regular time, you can request something of a brown-bag meal with a beverage, fruit, etc. Nice touch This appears to be a family-run property. Everyone who worked there appeared to be family. They were all courteous, helpful and pleasant. They were especially nice to my grandkids. Just a word about the area, though. While this is an above-average property, if you want or need to go out for a meal, you'll need to drive into Laramie. Only a Wendy's is within walking distance. I would stay here again.
Stayed here for two nights while on a business trip to Laramie. The hotel is conveniently located right off Route 80. Checking in was fine. Our rooms were OK, but my business partner found an article of clothing left behind from the previous guest in his room and I found a sock in the closet of my room. Beds were OK and the room was clean. The breakfast was awful. The scrambled eggs (from a bag) were tasteless and inedible. And I eat anything. I tried the hard boiled eggs thinking that would be better. Wrong. The yolks were green--overcooked and perhaps from the day before. I had peanut butter on a piece of bread to satisfy me until I could get to Almanza's for a breakfast burrito. (highly recommend) My second complaint was that the fitness center was awful. There was only ONE 25lb dumbbell, ONE 35lb dumbbell and ONE 40lb dumbbell! Not making it up. And there were three 10lb dumbbells, and three 5lb dumbbells! I'm not expecting a Gold's Gym, but I would like to have some basic equipment to do some type of workout. I did inform the front desk of the issue. Bottom line...there are better choices in Laramie for the same dough.
I have stayed here 4 times in the last 6 years and for the most part I have enjoyed all the stays. There was some work being done on the parking lot which cut the spaces available almost in half and made it inconvenient.
The king "suite" had a good sized sitting area, not a separate living room. It included an ample breakfast, with sausage and eggs and a variety of baked goods. A very satisfactory choice for a transit night.
Very nice hotel. Super clean with nice pool, hot tub area and washer/dryer for guests. Hotel staff very attentive. We stayed in a king bed room and Enjoyed having a couch and chair in the room! Right on I-80. Highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Laramie!
The hotel worked well for our needs as it was a stop over on a long trip. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was convenient. Pool was small and they used too much chlorine. Rooms were neat but could have been a little cleaner. Internet was free but they had a clunky logon interface.
We were driving from Houston to Washington with two friends, our cats, and all of our belongings and needed to stop once on the way. We found the Best Western in Laramie online and I called around four hours ahead of time and booked the hotel. All of the staff members were wonderful. The rooms were clean. And the fee to add for animals was very reasonable. I definitely give it two thumbs up!
Don't trust the system unless you speak to a live person and get their name. The first time we stayed at this location everything went fine so we didn't expect any problems this time. Boy were we wrong. The reservation was put on the wrong date. So when a person is living on a fixed income this is quite a large amount to have to swallow. The management does not care and will not move the payment to when we were suppose to arrive so we are charged for a room we didn't even get to use.
The staff was very friendly and responsible. They arranged a taxi early in the morning for me. We weren't able to get one , so without me even asking one of the staff offered to give me a ride. The room was pretty and well maintained. It was a great value for the money. I had very nice stay.
We have traveled halfway across the country from St. Louis to Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks, and therefore have stayed in multiple hotels. The Best Western in Laramie was one of our last hotels, and it stands out as excellent accommodations. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was a great value for the money.
We had a nice stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Other than a little mold on the shower curtain, it was pretty clean. The mattresses were older and fairly firm. The continental breakfast was great. They had hot and cold food, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, muffins, and pastries.
It was clean, staff was friendly. No complaints. The hotel is under renovation but still kept clean. The breakfast was standard fare. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. A bit outside of town but no problem getting to town.
The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, and breakfast was much better than the typical hotel. We arrived late and left early but the staff was always cheerful and available. Will stay there again on our next trip through Wyoming.
Lights did not work, front desk clerk was going to explain how to work them then decided she would come to help but never showed up. How complicated can turning a light on be that not only could she not explain how to do it she was going to have to come up and show us. Large very bad stain on chair, dirty carpeting, beds like concrete. Would NOT recommend
We arrived after midnight and were greeted by a very helpful person at the desk who offered an upgrade to a suite. The room was clean, comfortable, with extra desk, microwave, fridge, sofa and chair. Breakfast was advertised as 'hot' but food was barely warm. Check-out easy, person efficient. Nice lobby, internet worked well.
I loved everything about this hotel except for the thin blanket. I put on more clothes to stay warm because I didn't realize I was too cold until after I went to bed. I keep my room cool because of my dog who enjoys a cool room.
Had problems accessing internet from room repeatedly. Bedside clock/alarm did not work. Chlorine odor in lobby from either mop bucket that sat in hallway all day, the swimming pool or a combination of both.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area. The facilities are both neat and clean and the continental breakfast was very good. The stall was both helpful and friendly. The only reason I did not grade as excellent was the age of property.
Hotels are few and far between when traveling in the West. We were fortunate to locate this BW. Called ahead to book a room and it was ready when we arrived. Clean, fresh, renovated. Staff was helpful. Check in was a breeze. We were offered express checkout but opted to check out in person instead. Morning staff was helpful to put together a grab & go snack since we weren't able to make breakfast time. Room was nicely laid out. King NS with plenty of space. Great seating other than the standard hard straight chairs and an ottoman to prop your feet on. Appreciate the hospitality and will definitely return if we are in the area. They sold out the night we arrived... Special Olympics event in the area. Easy to navigate the city and while the hotel was near the interstate, it was still close to food places in town as well as quaint shops to browse in too.
we loved our short stay.We were on our way to Utah and this is good place to stop. The area around the site needs tidying up but the adjacent lot is for sale. Lets hope that It sells soon. Lovely views.
After driving 10 hours, I could have slept in that bed for days, it is that comfortable! It was a king size with no lumps; only a smooth luxurious feel. The view of the prairie and mountains was spectacular!
We pulled in and were able to get out of the inclement weather and into a very nice king suite. Great people and so gracious. And plenty of parking for all of us who were stranded. I am sure that there was quite a rush of people for this place on the night that we stayed. Would recommend!
This hotel is centrally located. It is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We asked for suggestions of where to eat and what to visit. The staff drew on the map where to go and explained how to get there.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel just to get away and do some fishing. Jacob was very friendly and informative. The hotel was clean and in good repair. Our room was between the stairs and the elevator but we did not hear any noise from either.
We stayed for one night, while traveling home. Room was nice, hot breakfast that was available was ok. Location not far from interstate, near 2 truck stops, but surprisingly noise wasn't bad. Fast food nearby, but for a sit down meal you'll need to drive on into town.
Hotel is in excellant location along I80 and conviently located close to restraunants and gas stations. Staff were very friendly and knowledgable. This location was very clean including the whole property in and out. I would recommend this a great location to stay while visiting in Laramie or just passing through.
Had a great nights stay at the Best Western in Laramie, Wy. Room was a king and was huge. Place was really clean. Breakfast was good. Management was very nice and helpful. Will stay here again when in Laramie. Won't find a better room for the price.
Spent three nights while visiting our son. Rooms were wonderful, service was great and the warm breakfast and good selection of food was a delight. M wife used the pool on two occasions and the staff was most accommodating. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when we visit in the fall.
This hotel was a great place to stay for my 2 children, myself, and another adult. We really enjoyed the stay. It was comfortable and the decor was great. We will definitely stay at this Best Western if and when we travel through Laramie again.
Just wanted to say what a nice place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice and accommadating. Will stay there again if an occassion arises for us to travel that route again. They also suggested a few places to eat at and was delighted with their reference.
The staff were friendly and efficient. The lobby was clean and organized. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable . Parking was good for us pulling a camper. The place was easy to find.. Just off the interstate. The price was reasonable. Showers were good!
We frequently pick Best Westerns when available because for us they have been consistently good and this one met that expectation. It's convenient to the Interstate but far enough away to reduce the noise. The room was clean and typically equipped and appointed. Ours was wheelchair accessible and the bathroom is generously sized.
This hotel is quiet and just on the outskirts of the main part of the city. If you want to be close to the university, it is not. The views are nice. The pool was chilly. The hot tub was nice. The breakfast had hot and cold choices with plenty of choices for even picky eaters. The room had a fridge and microwave as well as a coffee pot. The coffee pot however was located in the bathroom which was odd to us. We moved it to the top of the microwave stand. Room was clean overall.
The room was decorated well the amenities were plentiful. When I took my kids to go swimming, the pool and hot tub were very cold. The beds were difficulty to sleep on due to hardness of mattress. Staff were pleasant.
Staff did not respond appropriately to my complaints about noise and tobacco smoke odor in the room. They did not relocate me to another room or offer a discount on the room charge. I complained to the front desk staff on three occasions.
The room was 10/10, the staff were 10/10, the amenities like the pool and hot tub were just what this road weary warrior needed, I felt fortunate to experience a highway closure of the Interstate I-80 just so I could stay in the best Best Western in the west. I would have been happy to stay longer but when the highways reopened the trip had to go on. When in Wyoming take my advice and stay here.
We were quite happy with our accommodations and the price we paid. The area is on the edge of town and relatively quiet. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise being far more than a stale roll and cup of coffee offered at many budget motels. Eggs and sausage and orange juice are a great way to start the day. For you exercise fanatics, the Laramie greenway starts just to the east of the motel. Our only complaint was that the rooms mirror was hung so low that it covered one of the few electrical outlets.
I used my points for this initial visit since high winds on I-80 closed the road for further travel west on this February day. The day manager allowed an early check for this Diamond member however the complimentary water and welcome bag was not offered. Previous reviewers complained about the lack of heat inside their rooms and I noticed the same as well throughout the hotel. I'm going to assume that since this is a northern property cooler inside temperatures are preferred locally. As for me I personally had to set the heater on 76 degrees to feel comfortable during the evening. The complimentary hot breakfast was BW standard but the cool air in the breakfast room caused the hot items to feel and taste cold; continued gentle reminders are in order here. Since I travel frequently I will still rate this Inn as a good stopping place for the business traveler or family as the amenities described are accurate and of good quality.
Been staying here once a month while going to graduate school. Comfortable, open rooms, very nice staff. Located right off I-80. easy access to downtown. Pool, gym, and hot tub on property. Room rate is varies.
I booked a 2 queen handicap accessible room and did not get that. Staff said we do not have rooms like that and because everything was full i had to take it or stay in my car. I use a wheelchair and it was very difficult to maneuver around the restroom and took us a while to get me off the toilet.
Waited at the front desk for awhile to check in. The room was cold with no visible thermostat. There were no extra blankets in the broken closet. The worst problem was the non flushing toilet. Wake up service was good. The breakfast was extensive and excellent.
My wife and I had to stay there for over a month because of my work. All the staff, from the maids to the owner, were extremely pleasant, super friendly and accommodating! Rooms and beds are very clean. They had reasonably prices laundry on site which made my wife's life so much easier than having to go to a laundry mat. Breakfast was provided every morning and if you just ask they were more than happy to let you in the breakfast room for coffee or tea at any time day or night. They also had no problem with us having our fur-babies with us. All in all it was a great experience!
Walls are paper thin. We could hear the next people talk till 3:30am and we had to get up at 4:00am. Went to the front desk and they do not have anyone working at the front desk 24/7. You have to call from the front desk if you need anything and it wakes up who ever is staying the night. At 5am as we are leaving, I had to buy tylenol and had to wake the desk clerk up. They also do not have free coffee or tea for guest except for breakfast, which we had to leave before 6. Not your typical BW as in the West and East Coasts.
maintenance man will not fix the problem and if he gets a phone call ooh forget ever seeing him again, had problem with heat put the heater on the highest temp for over and hr and still cold in room all the maintenance guy did was come in lower the temp control his cell phone rang he left the room to answer it and NEVER returned
My wife and I very much enjoyed this hotel. The room was super clean and nicely furnished. The bed was excellent. Breakfast was hot and tasty. The hotel staff very courteous and helpful. We will stay here everytime we pass thru Larimie.
The owners and staff are great! Very friendly and helpful! Great pool. Our kids loved it. Rooms are clean and have a microwave and fridge. Convenient location that is right off I-80 making it great for travelers. Breakfast is really good and has biscuits and gravy, waffles, sausage, eggs, and a lot of other items.
Bad weather forced us off the road early and we were very fortunate that we stopped at the Best Western Laramie Inn. What a wonderful hotel! Our room was spotless and clean smelling even though we needed a pet room. The television had a line through the screen and the staff immediately exchanged it. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!
Kegan checked us in. Best Western's are a great place to stay. I rarely have a poor experience at a Best Western hotel. Laramie was a stop off for the night on our way to Jacksonville, WY. Thanks for the restful night :) On with the Drive the next day.
This hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and gracious. Breakfast was fabulous, plus having vending machines was helpful. We arrived early because of an early flight into Denver. This meant we had very little sleep. The staff let us check in early and get some sleep before we met up with the rest of the family.
We were forced to stop because of bad weather, we felt very lucky to find a hotel that was ecconomical but felt like luxury! Good night so we could head out in the daytime for the rest of the ride home
This was the cleanest hotel I've every stayed at and I've stayed at a few. Spacious rooms. Nice, clean pool. Friendly, informative staff. Wonderful breakfast - sausage gravy/biscuits, fruit, homemade waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. Stayed 1 night earlier in the week and 3 nights later in the week. Near UW so a great place to stay if you are in town touring campus. Not far off interstate.
The room had a bad odor. I would rate the room poor due to the smell in the room. The front desk night clerk was very pleasant easy to work with, we were on the road for many hours and all we wanted was sleep.
Nice location and easy to find. They were in the middle of repaving the parking lot so had to park away from the entrance. The hotel staff came and helped carry suitcases into the hotel. Although close to the interstate it was very quiet. Laramie is very close for some very nice dining options. College towns usually have some unusual places to try. We ate at the brew pup. They had great food with a large variety of selections.
I love Best Western. The beds are always comfy and rooms are very clean. I was traveling with my daughter and the pool made our trip that much more enjoyable. Traveling across country makes you tired and Best Western provided me with a place that not only was affordable, but clean and comfortable.
We are well satisfied with our stay at this hotel. The hotel clerk was helpful in guiding us to a great place for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. We will stay there every time we go through Laramie and need a room.
My stay was nice ; two days My only complaint was the water pressure sucked!! Took forever to feel like I had the soap out of my hair and off of me- and towels? More or less thin things that were more of being between a hand towel and a full grown towel Great for wrapping around ur head if a girl but if u are a full figured lady or man- or a lady with large endowments would not even go around u Over all though the hotel was very clean and enjoyed my stay I would just suggest getting rid of the big shower heads and buy the cheaper low pressure heads/ may not be as pretty but people would enjoy the pressure more And maybe go to Sams club and buy some great quality towels; dang , they are only 7 bucks a piece I know because I have them in my house- even have two in my truck just for places like this
We spent one night here on a long trip and found the hotel and accommodations to be very good. The staff was very nice. The only complaint was that the exercise area was not available early in the AM. Otherwise, convenient place to stay.
how nice is it when the hotel staff tell you that they are glad you stayed and appreciate your business? we were very pleasantly surprised and totally enjoyed our stay! The location was only a few minutes from downtown or the college. We had no complaints at all!
We've been here twice in the last few months as a quick stay over before driving back home to Utah. Access from the freeway and into town are good. The breakfast offering is rather basic, without any standout touches. We chose to go to a restaurant for breakfast instead.
My wife and I stayed here on our way back from Grand Teton National Park. The room was very nice. The bed was the most comfortable we had this trip. The hot Breakfast was very good. Eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, fresh fruit. We will definitely stop there again!
Our stay in Laramie has always been a good one at this motel. The rooms are big enough to move around in, with great beds and showers! It's conveniently located from downtown and the University of Wyoming, as well as shopping and good restaurants. A big plus for us is that they are a pet friendly motel so traveling with our little dog is much easier.
The young man who registered me was very helpful, polite, and courteous. The breakfast was excellent - such a wonderful selection and it was ready early so we could get on the road early. One improvement that would help the elderly is grip bars by the tub to assist getting in an out of the tub.
After the place where we had spent the night before and twelve hours of driving I was ready to find a nice, good pleasant place with some room that did not smell of disinfectant. I found it here and more. The young man at the desk was right on top of things and I was checked in within about 3 minutes. He answered every question and even held the door so that I could get the luggage trolley in. The room met all of our needs even to the spacious sink counter. The breakfast the next morning was very good and the only thing that could have made it better was bacon as my wife does not care for sausage. I was well satisfied. We had the personal care of "Mike" who was really of top of everything around him and checking with the customers. The next time we need a room in Laramie this is where we go.
Clean, modern, and comfortable - for a reasonable price. Also extremely close to I-80 and to downtown Laramie. The breakfast was above average, and we paid a little over $100 for the evening. We were passing through, and this was the perfect place to hang our hats for the evening.
Great hotel for a tired traveler. I had been on the road for 14 hours when I came across this hotel in Laramie. I thought I was turning into the Super 8 due to the confusing signs. I was pleasantly surprised. Great bed. Awesome pillows. Clean, Clean, Clean!!!! Awesome hot breakfast, not that continental crap. Overall a great stay. Discounts for AAA, Military, etc.
I have stayed here several times and could not be more pleased. The owner is dedicated to excellence and will go out of his way to attend to his guests. The rooms are spacious, clean and so comfortable. Nice breakfast. Employees are friendly and helpful. Luggage carts are available and appreciated. Peaceful view.
