Best Western Plus Estevan Inn & Suites

The hotel was decent enough and there's a restaurant within close walking distance. The service from the front desk staff left a little to be desired. I checked in with a colleague who is a Platinum member of the Best Western Rewards program and was treated like gold. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and chatty with her. Then I checked in and it was as if a completely different person was serving me. I can't say she was rude but the friendly demeanour was gone and I felt like I was being treated like a lower class of person, for lack of a better term. My colleague received a complementary bottle of water and I was coldly told that that was for platinum members only. I can completely understand that platinum members receive extra benefits (I am a member of most hotel programs) but it was the tone in which she delivered that message that was unnecessary. That kind of blatant difference is how two guests were treated at the same time both surprised and disappointed me. The hotel is clean and other than my experience at the front desk I was satisfied with it. I will stay there again if travelling to Estevan for work but only because I like the location. I will hope for more respectful treatment next time.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was closed and unavailable. Bathroom had hair all over the floor, beds were incredibly hard. Breakfast was served it to-go bags (we were told this was due to low occupancy). The bags were packed randomly (rather than per person like the forms) and liquid was in a hotel cup rather than a juice box or milk container). Not the quality expected from a Best Western Plus location.

The title says it all! The staff at this location went over all expectations of resolving the maintenance issues that occurred. Great job Lance & Fariya! This is a very good location and I have stayed here a number of times.

Decent rooms, beds could bed better instead of hard as rocks. Everything else was good, decent complimentary breakfast as it gets, too bad pool area wasn't open, it's been closed for some time. All in all, good for the price you pay

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms,quiet location, stayed one night on the way to USA, plenty of parking, complimentary breakfast, and super delicious cookies in the lobby all day long, if travelling thru I would definitely stay again

The hotel seemed to be clean, nthe room was clean. Beds were soft and comfortathe internet worked fine Unfortunately the breakfast had what looked like prepacked processed muffins and danishs. There was also sausages which are Not appealling in my books

Staff was wonderful and very friendly. Room did show signs of neglect and lack of maintenance but was very nice. Bed was excellent. Hotel does have a pool but it still has not been repaired. The bed was extremely comfortable and really nice mattress.

the staff are always friendly and accommodating, they recognize me from previous visits and even ask about things in a casual but professional way. they make me feel like a person and not just a transaction.

They checked me out when I did not check out disposed of 100$ worth of food and refreshments and chargers. Never bothered to call me and ask if I wanted to check out. When I expressed my disappointment the manager blamed me for it and kept going into her office thinking of something else to argue about and back out be be ignorant and dismissive. Worst customer service ever. Had to go to a different hotel. Too bad the check in experience was actually nice and the room was very nice.

Clean and comfortable room.Many places to eat nearby and easy access to bypass to get out on highway.Quiet rooms with no noise heard from hallway or walls. Desk staff friendly and accommodating.Free breakfast better than most with usual choices of eggs bacon, potatoes but nice touches with caramel coffee muffins.

I found this hotel to pass my three demanding rules. Clean and comfortable room, great shower, fabulous bed and pillows. I usually stay at Best Weterns because the standards are held to a high standard, this one is no exeption.

Staff was Awsome and they put us on the top floor of the hotel away from the hockey teams that were there but the kids were running up and down the hallways disturbing the rest of the customers staying there as I had to be up early for a meeting this was the only problem make sure to ask if there any teams staying there other than that we called the front desk and the problem was taken care of but they should charge extra for babysitting the teams kids

Great place for business or other travel. Lots of parking for bigger vehicles. Easy access. Rooms very clean and more important "quiet". Great breakfast. This location has my return trips. Have used other hotels locally but this BW is my choice for future stays. Thank you.

Very clean hotel. Even the hallways smelled great and the rooms were fresh and clean. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us with an unusual power failure event that occurred in our room. Breakfast variety was unique with ham and cheese quiche on the menu! A nice change from frozen eggs.Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.

The hotel is fine, but definitely showing the wear and tear of heavy use by work crews. The beds are pounded out, paint and wood is scratched and chipped … it's just a little rough around the edges. Friendly staff, no real complaints - it just needs some TLC and new beds. Close to restaurants which was great.

Hotel is a bit dated, and needs some work. Biggest disappointment was spending 10 hours in a car with the kids and then finding out the pool and hot tub were closed once we arrived. We would have picked a different hotel if we would have known this ahead of time. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices and well stocked. Staff was friendly.

the best western estevan was easy to locate and had good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. the pre check in was a nice feature as it expedited the check in procedure. the room was nice facing the west so had the afternoon sunshine. staff were friendly.

The staff at this hotel are kind, and very service oriented. Lana, Wendy, Chantal, and Jamison were very attentive during our week long stay. Good location to walk to conveniences, like stores and restaurants.

The rooms were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was good. The room was large and spacious and allowed us to relax. The woman at the front desk that checked us in was fantastic!

Staff was accommodating, they removed beds out of two room so that our hockey team had a place visit and eat supper together. The breakfast has many options. The staff started breakfast early so that our hockey team was able to eat breakfast in time to get to arena before our early tournament game started.

I was in town for the night on business and found the hotel to be clean and quite. The staff were very nice and helped me out right away when I told them that the outlets in the bathroom were not working.

Staff was really good overall. Rooms are very nice. Unfortunately uses lavender Epson salt for jacuzzi tub so if u have allergy like me that's not good. Breakfast closes too early at 9am. Good location in the city as good restaurants near by.

Design of rooms could be a bit better. Bathroom door was very heavy and bathroom light switch is behind the heavy door. Breakfast is typical of any free hotel breakfast. Pool was not available and we weren't informed before arrival. No option to cancel without a fee. Stayed in a room with a sofabed and had to ask for the linens as they weren't already in the room! Waited 30 minutes for the to be delivered to room. Staff is really friendly and did their best to accommodate. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable.

Any place that has you experiencing relax walking in the door is a place worth returning to. The entire facility was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and informative. It will definitely be my go-to when staying in Estevan.

The staff at Best Western Estevan was super friendly and helpful. Then place was nice and clean. Breakfast could be chosen hospital style on paper and was prepared the following morning by a cook as per your request. A good place to stay during Covid! I found the pillows huge! Other people might like them.

Putting together a hotel stay in the middle of a pandemic can be difficult for the hotel to say the least. This hotel did a great job of putting together a hot breakfast with no contact. The rooms are generous , clean , good TV , great in room coffee

Had an awesome stay here. Services were excellent as well as guest services were phenomenal. However from other guests we did experience racism. Checking in didn't take more than 10 mins as well was offered fast check out option which was a time saver. The free breakfast was great as well. the food was hot and had a variety of selections to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

This hotel is dated. The front desk clerk was kind and helpful when we checked in. The beds are so hard and uncomfortable!! The breakfast is poorly presented, no vegan options and the lady who was the hostess lacked presentation and customer service skills.

Nice clean hotel in Estevan. Quiet and very friendly staff. It was a nice little place to stay. On one of the main streets in Estevan. Lots of parking spots. Nice spacious room with a Coffee pot, toiletry supplies and a good shower. I recommend it.

This was quite a new hotel - the halls still smelled new. It was great - staff were friendly. helpful, offered homemade brownies upon checkin. The bathroom was awesome, roomy, with an overhead shower. The breakfast had the best selection of any place we stayed on our road trip.

The room upgrade for rewards members is one of the best. The bed is among the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept in. The early breakfast start helps to kick off a long driving day. The front desk staff are extremely courteous after a day of driving.

Easy check in and out. Great breakfast, and friendly staff. Clean and quiet rooms. I would recommend this hotel to any one going that way. The only issue I had was that the shower didn't work very well. The pressure was bad, and it was hard to adjust the temperature fur to the poor pressure.

Our recent weekend stay at this hotel was greeted by an over the top performance from all the hotel staff. Never have I received such personal attention to details, loads of kindness from the good morning smiles and greetings, the wonderful homemade baking from a woman working in the kitchen. I really cannot express enough our sincere gratitude to them all for making our somewhat large group feel so much at home. Our home was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable providing a great nights sleep. Also should note that our room included a full stocked kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and cooking utensils. This review was well deserving of 5 stars.

Nice quiet clean hotel. On the outskirts of town with beautiful new shopping facilities right out the front door. Easy in and easy out. Very friendly staff. Room was excellent. Kitchinette and large hirlpool tub.

The staff at this hotel went over and above to make sure we had a great stay. From the first phone call prior to our trip to the wonderful welcome we received everything was great. It is nice to see there are people in the service industry who care about giving excellent service to guests. After speaking with Ashley we did not even call another hotel to check on rooms. Stay here if you ever find yourself in Estevan, SK and I guarantee you won't regret it.

I have only complements to your staff. We were upgraded to a suite as were were 3 in the room with two beds to start. This was done before we arrived. I don't remember the name of the lady, possibly Cari, that was dealing with us. She was very friendly

Another great stay at the Best Western Plus in Estevan, SK. Great staff and great service. I always enjoy staying here. Continental breakfast has a good variety to choose from, including fresh made muffins and other baked goods.

Really enjoyed my week in this hotel thanks to the great staff. Rooms are comfy and clean, breakfast is well above average, and they offer that little extra that really sets them apart. During my stay my car battery died because of a cold snap and one of the staff at the front desk name Lana came out into the cold to boost me with her own vehicle. Above and beyond what I would expect from any hotel - and immensely appreciated. Other examples that come to mind would be that someone always came by and offered me a fresh out-of-the-oven muffin while I ate my breakfast, or offered me a to-go bag containing water and snacks for my day. They keep coffee flowing all day and night and have nice baking and treats available if you're feeling like snacking. Has nice amenities and a warmth that is hard to find from a hotel these days. Will stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

We stayed over Christmas and The owners looked after us amazingly well. Due to the fact it was Christmas the owners gave their staff the time off and ran the place themselves for the days over the holidays, that in itself shows what kind of people they are and what kind of business they run. They cooked us fresh breakfast on Christmas morning with the most amazing biscuits I've ever eaten, and omelets. Every morning on our way out they greeted us and same thing when we cam back in at the end of the day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone hands down.

This is a great hotel to stay at. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast was great everyday and the breakfast staff very friendly. The room was great with a full size kitchen and large jacuzzi tub. The room was always cleaned in a timely matter and was always well done. I would definitely stay here the next time in Estevan. It is also a short drive to affinity place and numerous restaurants.highly recommended

When they first opened booked a room there. Got to Estevan and they overbooked the hotel so did not have a room for me to stay the night. They did not try to find me other lodging just said sorry. This is 9pm at night Hotels busy in estevan that night and could not find a room so drove home to Regina. Called corporate office to complain and they sent me a $50.00 gift certificate for my next stay. In the garbage. Will never try to stay there. Very bad experience. Business traveller in estevan every week 2-3 nights per week. Their loss.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels but this one has the most accommodating staff. They were so friendly and willing to help out and never seemed annoyed with the hockey kids. Very impressed with the service. Also a great rate to top it off!

Totally disappointed in this hotel. We stayed 1 night on a long trip to Victoria, BC. After we checked in they told us the pool was not is service. Was very unhappy they couldn't tell us prior to check in as we would have gone elsewhere. After we checked out we realized that we had left a pillow behind. It wasn't just a regular pillow. This pillow was for an accident victim with massive back injuries in a pillowcase that was not hotel white and is a $300.00 pillow. The pillowcase was a multicolored Grey's, browns, greens and blues very noticeably different. As soon as we realized we called and they said it was not returned to the lost and found and they would call back. They called back and said it wasn't brought to the lost and found. How could you not notice the different pillowcase. Yes our mistake but sad that they aren't HONEST.

Great service from the booking phone call through check out. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Only hiccup was internet didn't work well in room but was fantastic in the lobby. Rooms were clean and spacious. Air conditioning was working great (we like it cold to sleep)

Stayed here for 2 nights this week for business. I have stayed here many a time in the past. After a long 11 hour drive I took the usual route only to find the street under construction, had to figure out the detour around to get to the hotel. Check in the clerk said the system is down and to come back in an hour. He gave me my key card. I went to the room to discover it was a handicap room and the fridge was not working. I went back to the front and informed him I did not book a handicap room and he said too bad that is what you get for booking with Expedia. I said I did not want to take a handicap room in case someone that is handicap needs it, he once again said that is what I get on Expedia. I said e fridge does not work so he followed me to my room, roughly pulled he fridge out and pulled it back in, said there is works. I did not argue anymore just after he left. Turned the dial off unplugged it for a few minutes and back in and back on and the compressor kicked in.it had no shelves therefore everything I had to put on top of each other on the bottom. Room overall clean, ac worked. I did not go back until morning which I had a very pleasant helpful Paige at the front desk whose badge said in training however she had more personality than the guy the night before. Did not try breakfast either morning. Note the crews that stay at hotel deplete the ice machines on all floors so if you want a cup of ice get it before five am.

Went to the breakfast room 15 Mins before closing, breakfast person was very rude asked to come other way. Dumped the garbage loudly and said you have 10 mins. I didn't want to eat anymore, even though one of the reasons I paid more for this hotel as it said they offer good breakfast. Went to check-out Hotel manager was there, I never complained about breakfast. He hazzled me to show id to get a receipt for a already paid room. What a great start for the day...

Stay was excellent , everything good , rooms nice , pool wasn't working at the time but got wrist bands for the local leisure centre pool. So kids went swimming there as we were there for hockey anyway.

Our stay at this Best Western in Estevan was a pleasant experience. The decor and the rooms were pleasant. The best part of our stay was the warm and accommodating front desk person who helped make my stay a memorable one. I had lost my car keys and he was so helpful in trying to locate them

I'm a frequent business traveller but I stay in hotels across several different chains due to location availability. I have stayed here before and will definitely continue. Last night upon check-in (after a challenging day of meetings, offsite work, and terrible winter travel conditions) I was warmly greeted and given a free upgrade to a suite with a whirlpool tub, along with some snacks and water. I wasn't expecting this but it was great and made me feel very appreciated. Just the thing I didn't know I needed during a hectic travel and work schedule. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms have always been immaculately clean and comfortable. The wi-fi works very well and I've had no issues (this is incredibly important for business travel). An excellent travel experience and I will stay here again when I return to Estevan. Recommended.

stayed two nights a novice hockey team, 5 other teams in same hotel, it was fantastic. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was very good, highly recommend this hotel. kids were allowed to move freely about, teams were using meeting rooms and lounge to socialize very enjoyable weekend.

The entire staff was awesome! We were there with one of the hockey teams. They were very accommodating to us and our whole group of parents were beyond satisfied and I hope they do this survey as well expressing their gratitude. When we arrived on Friday night, my kids walked into the hotel ahead of us and because of my daughters height could not get the automatic doors open and was stuck in the entrance. She was upset but the staff gave her a new teddy bear which she has been using since. We ended up using the hospitality room for our lunch with the families and for the evening because the hospitality room was booked for another team, they ended up taking the beds out of a room for us so we could all get together with the kids and visit. It was a great experience for our kids to get to know each other better. We didn't end up using the pool because there wasn't a waterslide but for $3/kid, we went to the leisure center and took the kids swimming (which we were there for hockey anyways). We were all SO happy with how everything ran very smoothly!

Mr. Lee and his staff were terrific hosts. We were staying for a hockey tournament so these things come with their own logistical challenges and they truly went above and beyond to make our stay fun. They were so good with the kids (extra cookies) and the adults (hospitality room) so I was truly impressed by the customer service. Lastly, they obviously understand their business. We got knocked out of the tournament early so didn't need to stay the last night. They could have charged us, per the rules and desire for short term revenue, but they didn't. It's that kind of gesture that leads me to write a glowing revue and go out of my way to tell people what a terrific stay I had. When I return to Estevan there is no question where I will be staying.

Would recommend this hotel to any group or team, extremely accommodating, they went above and beyond to provide a hospitality room for our team, and when we were eliminated from the tournament they allowed us a late check out... Fantastic Service, would recommend to all groups.

Staff went well beyond routine duties so our group would have a great stay. Cannot remember ever having a better hotel staff during any group stay. Fantastic people and great service. Took great pride in helping us out and accommodating all our needs for a Pee Wee aged hockey team.

Stayed for three nights. Really friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast was very good, rooms were clean and kitchenettes were a welcome touch. Some guests were too loud during night time, other than that highly recommended.

Was met by a very friendly desk clerk who made check in easy - explaining the hotel amenities and offering a gift package as a gold member. Later she came with my wife to our room to assist in the set up of the wi fi. which I was having trouble with .The complimentary breakfast was great and my wife had I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The staff were fantastic. We are a hockey team who was treated fantastic Boys were treated well,they went over and above to make sure we were all happy and did not scold the players like other hotels for just being kids. Rooms and hotel were clean and comfortable.

Very friendly staff at check in, the rooms were very clean and tidy lots of towels in the bathroom, changed every day if you wanted fresh ones. Breakfast was excellent with a variety to choose from and the items changed every day no repeats all week. The area was very clean and tidy. Highly recommend this hotel. Staff are second to none! The price per night was fair and the breakfast had a lot of choice. Quality of food provided was great. The menu each day was nicely planned and delivered. Bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is the coffee is terrible. Need to find s new supplier.

My room had a full kitchen suite including pots and pans, and plates and utensils. The staff were very helpful and so friendly. Spent a couple of days there and enjoyed every minute of it. This will be my go to hotel when I return to Estevan.

This is the best hotel in Estevan. Although it has minor negative points, but comparing other hotel in estevan, this is the best. I enjoyed very good reception and very efficient check in process. Good breakfast, nice swimming pool, kind of okay for fitness center.

Stayed here for 2 nights this week. Check in and check out was quick. I had a king room with kitchenette and couch. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean, I did not eat breakfast either of the mornings for it was very busy. Shower has a shampoo condition and body wash dispenser. Good water pressure Lots of parking, handy location.

Located on the very NE corner of the city, it is close to many businesses and stores, a quiet location as it is back from the street a distance. The staff is friendly and caring, make sure to book in advance due to the popularity of this hotel!

Hotel was fine. There is a pub/grill across the parking lot from this location which makes this a convenient stopover for our vacation. Be aware that they don't do the "exchange thing" so it was one to one for the US dollar to CD dollar. Since the US dollar is much stronger than the CD dollar at this time, I did not like that!

Couch was dirty. Could tell where arms rest on couch and these likely have never been cleaned. Put cover over couch before sitting on it. Fridge was noisy. Halls noisy. Normally have had good luck with Best Westerns, but Will not stay at this hotel again.

Very nice hotel. The staff did a great job with everything I needed. Breakfast was good, rooms clean, and it was a suite with fridge, stove, etc. The pillows in the room were the best. The owner allowed me to contact the seller of the pillows so I could buy some. Great Service.

Not a bad place great people need more parking breakfast was all right stayed there 2 weeks and they didn't serve bacon once always sausage and eggs or eggs it was the same every week need more options

I've stayed at this hotel before and it has always been a pleasant experience. I travel for a living and it's important to stay at a clean comfortable hotel and this is one of them. I appreciate the extra efforts & I will be back!

On my second nights stay the toilet in my room plugged and when I asked for help all I was given was a plunger... after spending hours unplugging the toilet so my three kids could use the bathroom I finally managed to get it unplugged. I spoke with the manager he said he would make it right. A few moments later I came around the corner and heard him say to the front end attendant that I was just a liar trying to get a free room. What a joke.

This was a great place for a quick overnighter, great service. Got upgrade on my card without asking. Extremely helpful. great room and amenities. Exceptional clean, especially as they are a coal mining and oil service worker town. Really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. They had the towel sculptures like I enjoyed on the cruise ships. Great hot breakfast with a good assortment of cereals, bread, muffins fruit and yogurts. Would recommend it highly to any one.

Real nice stay at this best western plus, welcomed from the first foot in the door. Felt like they really appreciated my business. Very clean and fairly new Hotel , has comfy rooms and great beds. Although not requested , my room had a corner spa tub along with a normal 3 piece bathroom , also was able to cook in the room . there is a electric stove , frig, micro , and sink for washing up . They even have a decent selection of pans and dishes, so if you don't want to eat out all the time your can cook in the room , like an apartment . Full variety of stores very near buy that you can buy anything you will need, plus several resturants . The pool / spa area is kept clean and you feel comfort while using the facilities . parking is free, wifi is free, and they have a very good free morning breakfast from 5-10am . I would recommend this site and will stay for sure the next time I am ever in Estevan .

The hotel is clean, staff is fantastic and friendly. Beds are very comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. Breakfast is so-so with the hot items, but there's a decent selection of cold cereals and yogurts.

I had a very relaxing stay We had a death in the family and they upgraded our room to a suite for no extra charge, they do Air Miles which was awesome for a couple of night. The jacuzzi was wonderful and jets worked great. It was quiet in the morning.

The whole stay was a great experience from the moment I checked in, until I checked out. The staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were modern, clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast is great and has something for everyone. This hotel has everything you want/need, from an onsite restaurant to an indoor pool and hot tub. This will definitely be my 1st choice when I am in this area again.

Staff kind and helpful. Large rooms and great amenities. Pool and workout room was nice. It is important to us to have a mic and fridge and there is in every room. Bathrooms are spacious and you are provided with more supplies than most hotels

This is a nice place to stay in Estevan. Their breakfast is good, the rooms are really nice and clean. It is easy to get to off of the highway. We pass through Estevan a few times a year and this is always where I stay.

Unexpected overnight in Estevan. Pleasant surprise to find this hotel! Great front desk girl recommended Chinese food restaurant a few blocks away which was great. All around good break and rest at end of a long day!

Must be a good hotel, was booked up while the one close by had limited rooms sold based on the number of cars in their parking lot. Room I had was comfortable, but basic. Two queens, wanted a king so I had a work surface, but not available. Window opened to allow for fresh air, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Free breakfast was ok, but nothing to rave about. Eggs were a bit dry. Overall my stay was great, except both my room key and internet accessibility mysteriously quit working. Resolved quickly by staff, but it took me two trips. I think they checked me out by accident. I would stay there again on my next trip to the area!

This is an exceptional hotel! The property is very clean. The room we had was very spacious(2 Queen Beds with pullout sofa). The food in the breakfast room was awesome. The hot items are different each day and there is a wide variety of food to choose from. You have access to free coffee all day from this room. The price is very affordable when you consider the free breakfast. Most of all the staff is very friendly and helpful. From the front desk to the cleaning staff to the lady in the breakfast room. Even the manager came around to see how our stay was. Would highly recommend staying here.

Appears to be fairly new. Great decor exterior and interior. Nicely furnished rooms with very good bedding. Excellent caring staff at check-in.Tucked back off main road so very quiet. Lots of amenities nearby

Stayed here for work recently. I believe the hotel is fairly new and it still looks new. The room was very good. Quiet location. Comfortable bed. Good pillows. Friendly staff. Stew was always in the Crock-Pot to eat and access to fridge appeared to be 24/7. Will stay here again if I come back.

We just needed an over night stay before we headed across the border on our road trip east and this hotel fit the bill! Nice room and great breakfast with lots to chose from for our family of 4. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The first thing that caught my attention was the friendly staff. No matter when I met/ needed them they were always very friendly. The rooms have a good size and are clean with comfy beds. From an environmental perspective I like that the rooms have soap dispensers at the sink and in the shower. Free Wifi with ok speed and free parking. The breakfast buffet is free too, but that is the usual buffet - nothing out of the ordinary. Comparing it to other hotels in town I would consider this one of the best and I would definitely go here again.

Nice Hotel, very clean. Quiet, adequate rooms & amenities. Only slightly higher in price as compared to local competition but room size is more spacious. 100+ nights per year are in various hotels in western Canada & have re-booked here for return trip to Estevan.

The staff were terrific both times in providing points upgrades, help for a bad reservation by me, and suggesting benefit programs. The bed was outstanding and the room was very roomy, exceeding our expectations. Far better than any hotel we've used previously in Weyburn. Location is great, near Tim Hortons and McDonalds (morning gourmet coffee) and M&M Food Market (gourmet microwave meals at dinner).

This is a new hotel located on the outer edge of Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada. The hotel has a fresh appeal when you walk into the lobby as well as into your room. It is in a quiet area of town but has several restaurants and businesses available if you are in need of something. The town of Estevan is small but friendly and we found that everyone wants to make you welcome.

I would consider myself a young man of average stature, some may venture to call me short (which I usually counter with a flying roundhouse kick to the chest and a scream of fury). I would freely admit I am a few pounds above the ideal BMI but I'm certainly not a large man. There are some nights though, that I lay awake and wish I were a giant. This night was one of those nights. You see, everyone in Estevan is huge. Residents are so large I fact, they need pillows the size of mining truck tires to rest their heads on. There were four of them on my bed and they were all the same size. Size gigantic! I slept with my neck at such an angle, that I woke up with much difficulty and went about my day giving everyone I met awkward sideways glances. Two days out, I'm still in the same state. I don't fault the folks of Estevan for their overlooking the fact that others may not be so huge and thus stocking their hotels with appropriate pillows to the best of their knowledge. I would simply petition them to consider minuscule foreigners like myself, the smaller bros from Calgary, that need pillows that are soft. Maybe I'm not as big as Estevanites, maybe I should be sucking this up and exerting more of a masculine trip advisor presence, and maybe if I learned to sleep on a bigger pillow, I would mature faster and have less to whine about but... it's just so hard to be strong when you're sleep deprived. In closing, I would suggest a nice mix of pillows. If you can afford four of them, why not mix 'em up? The less gigantic people's necks of the world will thank you.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus for 1 night on a business trip. The room was very reasonably priced (CAD108/night), large, clean and very modern. Fortunately, I got the top floor (4th) and away from the elevators so it was very quiet. The hotel building is fairly new and located northeast from downtown Estevan, right beside the Wal-Mart. There are several restaurants/shops walking distance from the hotel and the Estevan Shopper's Mall about a kilometer away (which includes Sobey's andCanadian Tire) The lobby and breakfast area at the front were very welcoming, large and cozy. Several computers and a printer are available to guests, as well as a small convenience store and laundry room. There is a small 24-hour fitness room, pool and hot tub on the 1st floor. However the hot tub was out of order during our stay. My room was clean, quiet, and equipped with black out shades. The room decor was modern. Room amenities: - Alarm clock - Small fridge - Microwave - Coffeemaker - only whitener, no fresh milk/cream - Working desk - Free Wi-Fi - moderate signal - Large flat screen TV - Hairdryer - Ironing board Room ventilation included a wall-controlled AC which regulated the temperature very efficiently. Breakfast was complimentary and included cold and hot items such as yogurt, oatmeal, muffins, fruit, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast and a waffle maker. The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly. Conclusion: I really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western – mainly because clean and modern rooms, as well as the wonderful staff. And not to mention the cookies at the front desk! The Good: - Large, clean, modern rooms - Friendly staff - Great free breakfast To Improve: - Tea/coffee in the lobby - Pillows are plush, however too thick

We had extended family stay here and had a family gathering in the breakfast room. The staff were so nice and helpful to us. They let us use this room until the early am. The kids loved the pool, just the right size. The rooms were a good size, very clean and quiet. I would absolutely recommend this hotel in Estevan.

Chose this Hotel as I have stayed there before and was treated well. Breakfast was excellent. Staff are friendly & and very helpful the Hotel is situated near were I had do business and there are stores and restaurant are close by with in walking distance.

My dad and I stayed here for one evening as we traveled across Canada. We booked through Hotels.com and got a GREAT deal. We were happy to see it was one of the newest hotels in the area, and really close to the border and the highway out. We were happy to find that our double room came with a kitchenette and the bathroom had quality soaps and shampoos mounted right to the walls. The concierge had a strong accent that made check in a tad more difficult (especially as she was the only one at the desk at our 5-6PM arrival) but overall a smooth experience. The free breakfast included was quite good, but the coffee was terrible. Lots of selection including waffles, but the coffee (although from a modern and expensive machine) tasted sour and bitter. Would 100% stay here again and loved our experience!

I really enjoyed my stay here, the rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly. This was a very quick trip, but the check in and out was quick and friendly. I have stayed here several times (every time that I am in Estevan) and they have always taken good care of me and my needs.

We found the rooms very comfortable. We had a King Jacuzzi Suite and found it to be very clean and convenient. The room also had a stove, fridge, and microwave in it. There is a free breakfast that came along with the price of our room. Good selection of both hot and cold foods. The location is also good having both shopping and restaurants nearby. The service was also very good. We forgot a laptop in our room and by the time we made it home they had already called to let us know. I arranged for a family member in Estevan to pick it up for us and was impressed the precautions they took in ensuring they were giving it to the right person. Overall, a great place to stay!

Slow book in, service slow, and no follow up after I found a beetle in my bedding. I ordered a taxi. 20 minutes later she apologised for not ordering. We were late for my appointment. I was promised follow up from the manager after I had found that beetle in my bedding during my stay on 12 March. I am still waiting.

I left my phone charger in my room and had moved on to the Moose Jaw Best Western when I noticed. Steve from the front desk in Estevan offered to drive the charger to the Moose Jaw hotel for me. That's a 235 km drive. Unbelievable service Steve. This was not on company time. You are a very generous thoughtful person. Thank you so much!

I recently stayed at the Best Western PLUS in Estevan for business. As this is a newer hotel in the area, it was clean and very nicely decorated inside. Check-in was a breeze, and I even got a free upgrade to a King room after the receptionist recommended it to me based on my personal requirements. Check-out was equally as easy. The internet was a good speed, the TV had an average (but still decent) channel choice, and it is located to a few really great restaurants and other amenities. Bed was comfy, bathrooms clean and overall it was a fantastic experience.

We stayed here for a week while we were visiting Estevan. It appears this hotel caters mainly to work crews, however we were treated like royalty. We didn't have the biggest room or even spend all that much time here, but all the staff were very friendly. The breakfast staff were very nice and chatty. The manager was very accommodating and provided us many extra items and help. The front desk staff was very helpful and cheery. We can't say enough about how friendly they were. Our room had a jacuzzi, a kitchenette, a large bathroom and large bed. There were also a few other pieces such as an armchair and desk. The kitchen was in full working order with dishes and cutlery. Very helpful when it came to using the BBQ behind the hotel. One drawback of the BBQ was that there's no grassy area around the hotel. It's surrounded by parking lot, so it's not as comfy as it sounds. Still, staff go out of their way to see you have what you need. There's a medium sized indoor pool and a hot tub near the workout room. Definitely a plus and we used it more than once. There's a hot breakfast served each day with different choices. It wasn't luxury, but it was appreciated and filling. Views are nothing to speak of. You're between a Walmart and an open field with mainly commercial property around and a lot of asphalt. There is a tuck shop near the front desk with snack items and conveniences. Overall, this hotel scores very high for service and we would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Estevan. It's not the cheapest, but it's the best deal.

Nothing really stands out in either a negative or positive way. Check in was pleasant but check out was less than pleasant. Room was typical Best Western style but no tea in the room. That was weird. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Lots of crews come in late and leave early. Breakfast was standard BW stuff. There was a bar at the edge of the parking lot but we never had a chance to try it out.

Clean entrance, fast friendly check in and great room. Location is good and food and shopping close by. Recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. Larger TV is nice now my eyes are going!...will stay here again.

Stayed for six nights and was very satisfied. Best place in Estevan that I have stayed at so far. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Basic continental breakfast, but tasty if you want a quick bite. Good coffee and Wifi. I really appreciated the efforts of the reception staff as they helped me ensure I had the best rate possible as I wasn't sure how long my stay was going to be. Will definitely stay here again when travelling to Estevan. We were disappointed in the business centre computers as we couldn't print necessary documents....had to go to the Estevan Library to get that done!

Stayed in a room with a hot tub and really enjoyed it. Breakfast in the morning was typical but we really enjoyed the room. Had a fridge, kitchen, hot tub... basically a junior suite in the middle of Estevan. No complaints at all.

Decent place to stay. Breakfast traditionally not hot. I'm not sure what is with glass on all the table tops. Makes using a computer a little more difficult with mouse. Also I had to remind them of the complimetary upgrade with platinum status.
