Best Western Plus Hotel Patterson Park Inn, Arkansas City

We love staying at the Best Western Plus Patterson Park Inn for our annual trip to the area. It is always clean, wonderful breakfast options and comfortable. Rooms are spacious! Staff is friendly. And we can even bring our dogs!

Check in and out was very efficient. The were many options for breakfast including hot and cold. It was very tasty. The hotel was clean. We enjoyed the gym and the pool. Very nice atmosphere and pet friendly. We will always stay here when we are coming to ArkCity

We stayed in one of the suites. It was very clean and organized. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The towels were perfect and the water pressure was great. The breakfast area was very clean and ordered with a large assortment of things to eat. Will definitely go back.

Clean and comfortable, everyone very nice and , highly recommend!! Room was comfortable and spacious , able to relax and enjoy our stay, without feeling uncomfortable or worried about something happening

This hotel is easily the best in town. The hotel is kept clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. Due to being booked for an event, I did have to check out for two nights but this hotel made the experience as easy as possible.

I just stayed at this hotel for well over a week. I had both good and bad experiences, some very frustrating. I suspect they are having trouble keeping enough business with all the nearby competition, so it seems they are choosing the route of lessening services. When I checked in I was directly asked if I needed housekeeping everyday or every few days. In more than three decades in full time traveling work, the only time I was ever asked this was if I were staying in a small bed & breakfast. I figured I was going to be alone for several days before family arrived, so I told the desk lady every two days is OK until my wife arrived and gave her that date. I knew I would need coffee supplies and towels every couple days, so that made sense. Apparently them asking is only a formality, as three days later I was having to hunt down coffee supplies and ask to get someone to clean the room. Certainly no discounts given for the minimal service. I had to find a housekeeper and ask her to clean the room. Three more days later my wife and grand daughter are due to arrive. I tracked down a housekeeper that morning and asked to have the room cleaned and change sheets on the one bed i had slept in for a week, as my grand daughter would now take that bed. Guess what? Didn't happen over that 8 hour day despite the housekeeper telling me she would let the one that did that area know. My wife arrived late that evening and found nothing had been done in the room at all! I had to go to the desk, ask for the towels, wait while the guy got them, ask for a bag for the dirties, carry the towels, washcloths, hand towels and supplies to the room myself, along with bagging the wet/dirty towels and removing them from the room! I also had to empty my own trash containers during this stay! When you pay a premium price for a room (nearly double their usual rate because a of nearby festival prices), you expect at least to get competent service. It was VERY disappointing. When my wife checked in the desk person didn't do the key for her correctly, canceling my key. It would open the outside door but not the room. I would have this same incorrectly encoded key problem three more times in the stay, where after one day the key would quit working. My wife's was fine. It's an RFID chip an was not carried near my phone. It was simply improperly programmed each time. The breakfast in the morning was inconsistent. First day the young woman didn't even brown the hash browns (suspect they were microwaved), which were completely white and tasteless. The waffle batter was so thick (suspect it was very old) it took longer to fill the cup from the batter machine than it did to cook the waffle! Magically, when the heavy flow of the festival goers hit, the batter was suddenly proper thickness and took only a few seconds to fill the cup. I skipped several mornings breakfast as they stopped serving at 9 am on weekdays. The gravy was always mediocre at best. No sausage or even flavoring, just peppered, thickened white flour gravy. Wasn't horrible, but certainly wasn't good. No one at the hotel was rude, but it was apparent they were stretched thin (managerial issue). But the last morning was a cold slap in the face. I asked if we could check out two hours late (1 PM) as I was getting in at 3:30 AM. The guy very coldly said "The best I can do is twelve." As a Best Western Rewards member for decades, and considering I had just stayed 9 nights (4 at nearly double rate), and the fact they cleaned the room only 3 times in 9 days and I had to carry supplies and track down people to ask them to clean, I thought coldly allowing only one hour later check out was frankly like saying 'F' you, to me as a customer! Nothing like being treated like crap! This is a nice property in good shape, and I had booked it directly as the GM asked us a couple years ago to do that, and they would match the hotels.com rate. Frankly, this experience has made me sincerely question why I would want to come back to this nicer, but much more expensive hotel than the others available nearby. If the service were good, and we were treated as a valued customer, it would be worth the difference, but was not the case during this visit.

We travel often for sports and this is a great newly remodeled hotel in Ark City. Very clean and modern and the staff is very kind and considerate. They host sports teams often and do a great job with breakfast and managing the surges of players before a game or practice. If you visit Cowley CC this is a great place to stay.

This hotel had most helpful clerk working when we checked in. When we arrived to check in the clerk said she didn't see my reservation for the 7th but did see one for the following weekend so she changed it for me and said no problem. The room was very nice. The pool was enjoyed by my kids. The breakfast was a complete full breakfast very good.

This hotel is a 20 minutes away from Winfield, Ks but it is a new hotel vs the older hotel chains that are much closer to Winfield and that is the reason why we stayed here. The coffee served at the breakfast station is VERY weak. Other than that the breakfast is pretty good. Parking is plentiful with lots of lighting. The Rooms are clean and spacious. The water pressure is low but then it could be that we were on the opposite side of where the pumps are. Pillows are your basic too soft for us.

Super friendly ! Clean and well-kept room and pool! Our grandchildren love to swim in the inside pool. We had an extended stay room with full kitchen. Our room was handicapped accessible. First floor is pet friendly but second and third floors are free of pets. Breakfast was awesome! Many breakfast choices! Full hot breakfast, and /or biscuits and gravy. Coffee, hot tea, juices, muffins, fruit, cereal, and much more! Very friendly staff!! Hospital Nearby - great for family.

We were pleased with our stay here. The facility is newer looking, clean, and the room had plenty of space. The breakfast was fine. Only complaint is that the food service employee that morning was very distracted and we watched others eat only cereal because she was not paying attention to offer the hot food option.

This property is less than 5 years old, sits by itself just outside of town, and is beautiful. It was a totally positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I find myself in the area.

This property was as great as other reviewers have said. It was clean on the outside and inside. The staff clearly takes great care of the property and has super attention to detail. Breakfast is still limited like everywhere else, but the offerings were still good!

The room was very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff responded to all our request. It was very quiet and peaceful. Very easy to find. Several places to eat that are a very short drive. Some places will even deliver. Everyone one we came in contact with was very friendly. The room is spacious. The room is very clean. My only complaint is trying to figure out what the light switches went to. Check-in and check-out with very Speedy the staff was very friendly. I recommend this hotel for all your stays.

The Best Western Plus in Arkansas City is a great place to stay. Friendly staff, options for breakfast (grab & go) or now limited eat-in options. It's clean and convenient to both Winfield and Arkansas City. Just needs a restaurant, but love going to Shindigs in downtown Winfield (it's a remodeled Train Station and the Grilled Salmon & Chicken Fried Steak are delicious and be sure to check out the Train Wreck for Dessert (YUM)!

This was one of the cleanest, most organized, best customer service ever. They thought about everything. We had a King Suite and it had dishes, flat top stove, dishwasher tabs, hand soap, dish towel, and a dish cloth to hand wash if you like. E dishes were pots, pans, plates, cups, bowls, and silverware. The beds were part of the best experience. Super comfy bed and lots of pillows. The staff was professional and genuinely nice people! Great stay. We will be back!

Travel here frequently on business. Monday thru Friday morning. Newer facility, clean, very attentive staff. This place has a nice courtyard out back you can sit and lounge in when the weather is nice. I'll be back for sure!

Nice clean hotel with awesome staff to assist us. They have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in at a hotel. The pol and exercise area are nice. They even had a patio with grills for you to use. The breakfast was hot and given to us into go boxes or you had an option of fruit and a muffin.

Stayed here for only one night but the hotel was very well kept, modern lobby area, rooms were very clean. Check in was a breeze. Although due to covid there was no hot breakfast available they did have breakfast sacks available with a variety of muffins, apples, granola bar and bottled water. Would be great if they had a hot coffee server for guests to get coffee with their sacks to go. Would definitely stay here again.

This was my second stay at BW in the last 60 days, the first one was without incident. Around midnight, I awoke to tell my husband, Something is burning! He went out to look in the hallway and noted rooms across from us and to the side and down the hall with doors open, and a strong odor of oil , garlic and onions. The smell permeated our room and made it impossible to sleep. There was some talking but it was not loud . Very early in the AM, we went to the front desk and requested to be moved to another room on another floor. It was explained by more then one person at the desk, that these people stay on the third floor, they are hired by a company and work 12 hours and come back late at night and sleep during the day. It was not clear as to why this information was being told to me, I was simply saying I was ready to call the fire department for a burning stench that was in the hall and my room and I could not sleep. I was emphasizing it was way past midnight and this activity is not acceptable to the other guests who are paying to stay there and need to sleep. I want to note that these are regular rooms. These are NOT suites, NOT kitchenettes and NOT extended stay apartments or anything of that nature where cooking should be permitted. I do not care that these people are here to work, this is not my business. What is my business is not gagging on smelling cooking oil garlic and onions from midnight to 130am.when i am trying to sleep. The smell did not go away for the rest of the night either. The manager asked what could she do for me and I told her to remove the night on my bill since my husband and I could not sleep. She said she cannot do that. Well, then why ask what can you do to make things right? It seemed very reasonable. She said she could discount us and took thirteen dollars off our bill and gave 500 Best Western points. This was beyond Insulting and disgusting ! I did not come to her complaining it was noisy, I did not say i didn't have fresh towels. I said someone or many were frying food in their rooms and this took place when people are sleeping after midnight and the stench was horrific and i could not sleep. This was a very unfortunate experience which could have been handled more professionally and respectfully by management.

We were in town for New Years, and this was a very close drive to the casino, and town. We loved it hear beautiful place, beautiful and respectful, helpful people. This stay for us is one of the best stays we have had in the last 3 years of staying away from home. The breakfast is amazing, and everything is very clean. The beds were very comfortable, and clean.

We were in the Arkansas City area for a wedding. When comparing hotels in the area, the Best Western seemed to be the best option for our family. It did not disappoint. It was modern looking (in fact, we thought maybe it had just opened because it looked so new) and clean. The holiday decorations were very nice. The front desk associate was very friendly. We had called in a day earlier to get a roll-away for our daughter who decided to tag along. The roll-away was already in our room when we arrived. Everything was very nice.

We were SO impressed with this hotel. The staff was extremely professional, helpful, and efficient! We stayed there on a very busy weekend, and the dining room was continuously stocked and cleaned. This hotel exceeds all expectations. A welcoming, efficient young woman at check-in, a large, nicely furnished room with plenty of charging outlets on lamps, and even an extra chair in the room! The head of housekeeping deserves a national award. Every area of the hotel was immaculate! Breakfast menu posted and was well maintained throughout the morning. I will be back next time I'm in the area!!

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my life due to work and personal. I have to say this hotel is A-1 top notch to stay at and You feel like ur in ur own bed. This is a very quiet hotel and they tend to your every need. I would recommend this hotel to everyone anywhere. It made seeing my family even more comfortable I haven't seen my family for over 30 years. I have nothing but rave reviews for this hotel. WONDERFUL personnel, CLEAN CLEAN, great breakfast. After checking in the manager made me aware that I could get a cheaper rate due to my association with a nearby college and changed my reservation charge to reflect the lower rate! A wonderful surprise! Even though the address is Arkansas City, this hotel is the best choice for Winfield as well!!!

Visiting Winfield and needed a place to overnight. This hotel was the best choice in the immediate area and I have found Best Western to be a reliable high quality brand. This was the case here. Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Good value. Breakfast was included and presented several food choices which were average in quality. Coffee would be better if brewed rather than delivered by per-cup machine. Overall i would stay here again. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very clean, comfortable and good location to the Walnut Valley Festival #48! Breakfast had good selections. Glad we stayed at BW due to threat of rain in the forecast. Plan on a return visit to this BW.

We love that you came for the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival. One of our most favorite times of the year here at Best Western. Glad you loved our hot complimentary breakfast as well. Be sure to book for 2020 as rooms are going fast.

We stayed here for a week before and during a local festival. I was particularly impressed with the housekeeping staff after the first day was over. The first day, two of the housekeepers stood immediately outside my room door chatting loudly in Spanish. I had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. After that, the housekeeper on the floor was wonderful, and very patient, allowing us to sleep in and still getting the room cleaned in the afternoon. The only issues I had with this hotel were a musty soured smell in the room, which I am guessing was in the air conditioner filter, and the shower only room. There was no designation on the king room reservation for tub or shower only, so whatever they assign is what you will get. We will know to ask ahead for a tub next time. I did not report he room smell as by turning on the air it went away, and had too many experiences of hotels dousing odors with massive amounts of deodorizer that is worse than the smell they are trying to cover! Breakfast was good and the people who ran it each day were really nice. Parking is ample, but no entrances in the rear of hotel, so a long walk from parking out back. Bed was very comfortable and amenities were routine.

Thank you for your review. We know you have options while you are in the area and we thank you for choosing Best Western Plus Patterson Park Inn. We will visit with our Housekeeping team about remembering to keep their voices lower so it does not disturb the guest. I can also assure you that the air conditioning filter in your room is clean and free of debri. The smell is coming from the attic and we are in the process of adding more ventilation to create better airflow. I am sorry you missed the back entrance off the patio but we do have 4 entrances/exits on all sides of the building. Come back and see us again.

Spiffy new hotel but be warned that at least some of the rooms have the television positioned so that it's impossible to watch from the bed. Who thought it was a good idea to have the TV facing the side of the bed? Makes no sense because the bed could easily be facing a different direction. They did offer to move us too a less dumb room, but only for part of our stay and then we would have to move again. It's too bad, because it's a nice place other than that.

Hotel inside and outside look great. Free breakfast was very good lots of choices with hot and cold foods available. Pool was not very big but a least it's something. Nice towels and bedding. Friendly people.

My work frequently brings me here from out of town. This is probably the best Best Western Hotel I have ever seen! The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. They actually remember my name each time I come back!!! There are fresh cookies in the lobby! They provide a pretty amazing complimentary spread for breakfast every morning and the ladies who work the breakfast bar do an incredible job keeping it clean and well-stocked! There's a little store in the lobby where you can purchase snacks, drinks, and anything you may have forgotten to bring with you. My room was spotless and comfortable. Housekeeping does a wonderful job! There is an on-site laundry room and a swimming pool! I will gladly return to the Best Western Plus Patterson Park in every time I'm in the area!

We were to attend a concert at Newkirk, OK and the venue was booked. I asked of nearest hotel they would recommend since we were unfamiliar with the area. They suggested this hotel. I looked it up on the internet and was pleased to see they are pet friendly.....HUGE bonus for us and they accepted up to #80, so we did not have to board our fur babies. When I made the reservations, I inquired about Uber or Lift since we were needing to travel 11 miles to the concert and did not want to drive since we wanted to partake in adult beverages. They said they had a shuttle but quit running at 8 pm. When I checked in I asked again about the shuttle and if it were possible to visit with the driver to see if he would hire out his services and that I was disappointed the area didn't have Uber or Lift. After much discussion of my dilemma, she said, "but we have something like a taxi". WOW! If they would have shared this information early in the discussion there would have been no worries or need for such a lengthy conversation. Very friendly staff and they provided a goody bag for my pups ;-)

The hotel is very clean and breakfast options are different every day. They do cater to those of us on a healthy meal plan. Refrigerator and microwave in rooms a plus! Workout room a little small and pool area maintained appropriately.

No one at almost all the Best Westerns knows how to use gift cards. The check in check out people will talk u out of using them. Because they don't know how to issue them and they don't want to take the time to figure it out. But it shouldn't be that hard since Best Westerns issue them. I waited for over 15 min to check out then didn't use them because I didn't have time to wait any longer. This was the corporates fault but the check in person should of ran them and she didn't know how then or the next day. Wake up corporate Best Western

Very nice, good-sized room in a very quiet location right off US Hwy 77, very convenient for activities in both Arkansas City and Winfield. Breakfast Buffet in hotel had lots of variety and attendants prompted refilled items when needed. Reception staff was pleasant and efficient.

The staff at Patterson Park Best Western accommodated our family during a difficult time with the passing of our son. Hotel is very nice and very clean. All the staff was friendly. It was on the outskirts of town so it was quiet. Didn't get to enjoy the pool or breakfast but they both looked good. Just wish breakfast started earlier than 7.

BW is always worth the price for its quality. I look for BW first off when planning to stay away from home. Other places are generally to expensive for what they supply else so cheap that some are safety hazards.

Staff is super cool. I appreciate that Nicole remembered my name. It always makes you feel welcomed when your called by your first name. I appreciate that the work out room is open 24/7. Although, I only used it once. Too much work! At the beginning of the week they post a breakfast menu. Good variety. The tamales were really good. There is free water bottles (10oz), coffee, and juice 24/7. That's nice especially when you're working all night and need a little break. There is a huge casino about 15 min away in Oklahoma. I had an excellent stay. Thank you to all the staff!!

Attended daughter's dance and cheer performance at Cowley and wanted to stay the night since we had a banquet to attend next day. The girl who checked us in was so sweet and friendly. The room was very clean and suited all our needs. Would stay again!

What a great hotel to stay when you go out of town. The place is nice, clean, staff is so friendly. I will definitely continue to stay here when I go visit my family. Looking forward to going again in March.

Newer hotel. Clean, nice Beautiful. Road is hard to see at night and even in day if you haven't been there before. I passed turn in daylight but no big deal I just popped a u turn about a mile up and headed back. I highly recommend this place and I really hope they keep it up and clean

We stayed 4 days at this lovely hotel. We were in Arkansas City for my mother's funeral and needed rooms for family members. Everything about our stay was wonderful. We enjoyed cookies at night, daily newspapers and breakfast in the morning. We also used the breakfast area for food that we brought in for lunch. It's such a great space. We didn't use the indoor poor or exercise room but it was extremely nice. The hotel decor was bright and cheery and everything about the hotel was clean and fresh. I've never really given the Best Western hotel chain a chance but this hotel completely changed my mind. Thanks for everything

When a coworker recommended staying in the Best Western Plus Patterson Park I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. I was visiting Strother Field so the location was perfect and the price was right so a booked it. I was very surprised by the quality of this hotel. The rooms were large and impeccably clean, the staff was friendly and the facilities looked nice. Breakfast in the morning was everything you'd expect with a full breakfast. You could tell the staff really cared when the cook frequently refreshed the scrambled eggs with smaller servings so they wouldn't go stale. I enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

The BW is the best place to stay in the immediate area of Ark City and Winfield. Newer property that is very well kept and has excellent service. Rooms comfortable, staff very friendly and decent breakfast are all pluses. Our new go-to spot when visiting family.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of the staff! The room was comfortable and spacious. We were surprised at how well that refrigerater worked. It even kept our ice cream frozen! The pool was a bit small, but the kids still had fun swimming. We enjoyed the breakfast and the complimentary water bottles available at any time were highly appreciated! We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

We recently traveled to Arkansas City for a volleyball camp. This hotel is just north of town. Hotel was very nice, quiet, and clean. The breakfast provided was great as well. We also really enjoyed the cookies upon arrival.

Lovely, clean, new hotel. Enjoyed the patio right outside the indoor pool and exercise room. Loved that the workout room was spacious and had lots of machines from which to choose. We had a first floor king room, with all the amenities. Grabbed a yummy cookie at the front desk! Our room was large and well laid out. Even had a comfy chair just my size with a footstool. The mattress, linens, and pillows were excellent quality. Had a restful night. Bright and cheery breakfast area with most anything you'd want. I appreciated the tortillas and all the fixings for a breakfast taco. Attention to detail makes it obvious the manager and staff are proud of this establishment. Even had a place for washing motorcycles, and the laundry room had two large easy chairs. Be aware this hotel is popular with families with small children, so a quiet time in the pool probably won't happen. Although it was quiet at night, I could clearly hear people in the hall early in the morning. The upper floors might be quieter. Overall, a beautiful place to stay.

This is an excellent hotel. It has beautiful, updated decor. It is very clean and well maintained. The staff was very caring and helpful staff. The pool was great and they even had pool toys for our kids to use.

We stayed here at the last minute while attending a family reunion. The room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge and mircowave. The breakfast buffet had a surprising number of options based on my experience with similar hotels, so we were happy. Fresh fruit, eggs not rubbery, good sausage, fluffy biscuits. They even had little cartons of almond milk! We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but we often saw kids there and it looked nice.

Best Motel in the Area....AND chose the the Train Tracks!! When In Ark City this is the Motel to stay at NOT any of the ones downtown. Motel is close to the Hospital, Golf Course and to Winfield, KS. Check-out process was smooth and the price was a deal from what you would have gotten down town. Book Now and Avoid the JUNE rush!!

First, we asked to see our room before check in and the young man at the desk took us to the second floor. However, at his suggestion, he was able to find the same room available on the first floor which was helpful since my wife has mobility challenges. Very helpful and considerate! Then at breakfast there was sign giving the featured choices for each morning - too bad we only stayed one night. The room was larger than expected, and comfortable. However, after check in I was surprised that my major credit card was charged for more than the room rate. The next morning, when checking with the the person at the desk, I was told this was their normal procedure and the correct amount would show up in two or three days. The charges were adjusted two days later but it is a strange policy so be aware.

I travel a lot for business. I am a member of a variety of hotel rewards program and have never once stayed at a Best Western for business. This hotel has convinced me to consider them more in the future, especially in smaller towns. The king room I had was very roomy. The breakfast changed every day and the food was good. This was a very quiet hotel for being on the same street as the hospital and next to a highway. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

We had a baseball tournament in Arkansas City. This hotel was about 4 mins from Ark City, right by a hospital. This Best Western was immaculate!!! Not a single complaint. Looks brand new!!! We will stay here again!!

They have a great pet policy. I have a German Shepherd so it is nice to have the 80 lb weight limit for pets. It has a nice place to walk your dog. I was given a cute pet bag when I check in that was a nice touch. It is a nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are very nice and seem very clean. I would stay there without a pet. Bed was just a little firm for my liking but better that then old and sagging.

We spent a few nights here while a family member recovered from surgery. The staff was very thoughtful and caring. They went beyond their duty to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and varied each day. Some mornings featured make your own breakfast burritos and French toast. Overall, this is a great place to stay!

Stayed here for a total of six weeks. The staff made my stay away from home more comfortable! The hotel was close to two town that had multiple choices for restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The facility was well marked. maintained and provided ample areas for parking. Reception area was clean, nicely designed and the staff was both friendly and professional. The room was very clean and provided ample space for working and relaxing. Breakfast was very nice with ample space to eat and with a nice variety of menu items to choose. I will definitely stay at this facility when in the area.

We stayed here 2 years ago when it first opened and loved it. It had just opened so we expected it to be good. We came back now 2 years later and it is still as good as it was when it first opened up. The breakfast each morning is worth the stay alone! The hotel is so clean and and peaceful and great for families! I have stayed in high end places that weren't this good!

Friendly, helpful, professional staff. Large breakfast bar, keep full and clean. Close to hospital if that's what your looking for. Without a map or GPS I had no trouble find this location. I was traveling with a 91,90 and 89 year olds and the staff made them feel like they were queens.

this hotel and staff far outweighed my expectations! absolutely was amazing! the breakfast was very yummy! we will definitely be staying at best western again :) my only regret is we stayed only one night and my husband wasn't with me. they even have an indoor pool! so fun!

From the hotel staff to the room to the breakfast, everything was absolutely perfect!! All of the staff members were so friendly and very helpful! The room was spotless. And they have a pretty darn good breakfast!! I was impressed and the price was just fine by me. Small town or not, I'll gladly pay a little extra for a hassle-free stay! Thank you, best western!!

Very nice and accommodating staff, rooms spacious and clean, breakfast outstanding! Free local paper. Fitness center small but adequate for number of guests, beware of treadmill, belt slips and desperately needs maintenance.

This is a brand new hotel, and lots of families were there. Very nice, clean, with comfortable bed, great pillows, and a hot, powerful shower!! Nice hotel. I'm picky about pillows—they make all the difference. Perfect pillows and wonderful shower.

This is absolutely the best hotel and STAFF that you can stay with. You really must stay here if you are in the area for an overnight. The breakfast is the best continental served any where, The Pool, was great. It's super clean but the best part... is the staff - best staff I've ever encountered

With family of the Bride and Groom arriving from several states and days, we needed to have a place to use as a hub other than the church. The Best Western of Arkansas City/Winfield, Kansas was perfect. 25 rooms were used to house our families for 4 days. The lobby was a great place to gather, the pool was used for all of the kids and the free wi-fi was fast! Breakfast was part of the room cost and was well worth it! Knowing that our guests were well taken care of for sleeping arrangements, breakfast and a pool for all of the kids to swim in was one thing that I could leave in the hands of the hotel staff. Our experience here was perfect for 80 family members!

This hotel was beautiful, clean, quiet, the staff was great! We stayed there as we were attending an out of town wedding.It was a short, easy drive from the hotel to the venue. They accommodated all the family on the same floor. There was plenty of space for us to hang out together in the lobby area after the wedding was over. Loved the decor!

September 25th, 8 members of My family converged on this wonderful motel hotel but you would have thought it was a palace. Everything was so clean you could have eaten off the floors. Everyone for me management to the housekeeping staff were just as nice and polite and willing to do whatever it took to make our stay a memorable and enjoyable one. We came from all over, So. Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma, California and myself from Missouri. We all came together to visit my mother's only surviving sister(age 90) at the Medicalodge Nusing Home in Arkansas City, KS. All I can say if you're ever passing through Arc City(as its known), be sure to drop in you won't regret it!!! CV

Very clean, delightful staff. A tad overpriced for the area maybe but we will stay every time we come to this area. Breakfast is very good and staff goes above and beyond. Rooms very clean and beds are comfy.

Super clean hotel, great hospitality-they had a sympathy card in our room with jelly beans since we were there for a funeral. They employees are well trained. We had an emergency and one of the employees came to our room asking what she could do to help us. It meant so much that we had someone rushing in to help us when we were in shock and couldn't think straight. Really nice people and the hotel is really clean and nice.

We are glad we choose Best Western for our short stay during our niece's wedding. The hotel was clean, they were on top of any request we had - extra pillows please...in 5 minutes they were there. Luggage cart at 4:30 am and they delivered! Breakfast was great and the front desk people were extremely professional. We even enjoyed the indoor heated pool!

Great motel, great stay except for barking dog across the hall. Barked when owners out of room and barked when they came back. Large dog, a boxer, so the bark was significant. Not sure what the motel can do but I am sure the dog owner was happy but am equally sure the rest of us were not

Alan, Thank you for your review. First and foremost, we again want to apologize on behalf of those guests and their barking dog. I can definitely empathize with you. We had 6 dogs in house this past weekend and as you can imagine anyone who requests our pet friendly rooms are then all placed next to one another on the same floor. Our pet policy is that no pets are to be left alone in the room when the owners leave the hotel. Unfortunately that sometimes does not happen. We are looking at new ways to ensure this doesn't happen again for you and other guests that return to our hotel. Again, thank you for your review and we look forward to seeing you again next year.

The Patterson Park location is amazing. The front desk staff are the absolute best, the rooms are killer, and the breakfasts are a treat. This is truly an oasis. This is our third year staying at this location during the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival and I would not stay anywhere else!

The Patterson Park Inn is a stand-out place to stay and is clearly the best such place in the area. I have staid there three times, and each time, I have had a wonderful experience. Although the hotel is not brand new, you can tell that the management is attentive to keeping it look and feel new. The rooms are large, the beds are very conformable, and the staff are helpful, cheerful, and they aim to please. You won't be disappointed staying here.

We can not say enough wonderful things about this hotel! Stayed in the 2 queen suite and it had everything you would want or need! The staff were so helpful and pleasant and saw to our every need. They even have warm cookies at check in plus a pantry where you could purchase salads etc. Breakfast was good and some items change each day! If you are in this area it is worth a stay even though it's not right in the middle of town

A rural setting away from the noise of city. Although the facility is close to a US highway, there is no noticeable noise from outside. The facility is close to two towns, Winfield and Arkansas City providing adequate shopping and a wide selection of eating places. Service exceeds many more expensive chains I would utilize when I traveled for business. A great experience in Southern Kansas.

My niece will be attending Cowley College. When she came on her college visit they arrange for her to stay in this hotel. She really liked the hotel so we booked it for her move-in weekend. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The price was great, the staff was polite, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived late and our room was ready and waiting with no hassle to check in. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety. In fact the only negative I could find was the small square sleeping pillows, but that seems to be the trend now, as thee hotel we stayed in last month had the same. Very enjoyable, but short stay.

This was our second stay at this hotel!!! We'll stay here as often as we can!!! The facility is well kept, the staff is friendly and very helpful!!!! The cookies are delicious!! The hotel is located between two cities and the location is fabulous for those of us traveling with pets!! There's room to run and enjoy a little bit of country will having all the amenities of town!!

A very nice and clean hotel. Check in was fast and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and well equipped. The pool was inviting although we did not have time to enjoy it. Breakfast looked great. Wish we could have stayed a few more days. Also kitchen was fully equipped with refrigerator, cook top, microwave and dishwasher. Cookware and utensils.

We hadn't stayed in a Best Western for some time but this seemed the nicest place nearby and we were game. It was so nice we joined their rewards program. Who would have thought? Very nice and clean with amazing people. Bravo!

very nice, clean, great breakfast. I'll use them again. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Good wifi, and we were welcomed with kind personnel. Sausage gravy was from scratch, breakfast included eggs too. Paper was available. Easy check out. Staff was polite and well groomed, they had smiles on their faces and answered any questions I had

This was a very nice and very clean hotel with new decor. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Bed and and linen were top notch and the soap was worth taking home! Breakfast was above average. The hashbrowns with quinoa and spinach were delicious!

I was more than pleased with my stay here. Was in town for two nights on business. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were great! Always friendly, asking if there was anything I needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

I travel a lot for business and stay in many different hotels. This place was very clean. The decor is similar to a Holiday Inn Express. The staff was great and friendly. The breakfast was options are plentiful. I was so happy they had vanilla almond milk! I don't drink regular milk and I usually just have to suffer when I saw it I was so happy! The woman taking care of the breakfast area was amazing! It was so clean and organized and made sense. I watched her wipe the chairs down from top to bottom. You never see that. The price was very good. I had a great stay.

I was supposed to get a AAA discount and Express check-out. Didn't get Express checkout I had to go to the desk for checkout and after I reviewed my receipt down the road, my bad, noticed no discount. Washer & dryer had large sign posting you had to get tokens from the from desk and tht they were $1.00 got to the desk and they were $1.50!! $1.00 amount was also posted in large letters that it was $1.00. Pool was excellent kids loved it and there were plenty of towels and very clean. Breakfast was also great.

First and foremost, thank you for staying with us at Best Western Plus Patterson Park Inn. I do see that you asked for express checkout and did not receive express checkout. I sincerely apologize. The agent on duty that night is a new hire who is still going through training so thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can use this as a training tool with him. I am unsure what happened with the triple AAA discount, but we have credited your credit card the difference of $12.68. The tokens do cost $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry. I am unsure where you saw the $1.00 posted as I have looked at all of the signage and there are no amounts posted. We do hope that you will come back and stay with us again in the future so we can provide superior customer care to you.

Excellent hotel and service. I stay here quite often and would recommend it to anyone. Service is always excellent and Amazing. The breakfast is always very well done and tastes amazing also. Fitness center may be a little on the small size but is more than enough to get a decent workout in and feel good about it.

Fantastic Staff, Clean Rooms and Solid Breakfast. Switched to this hotel 8 months ago and have been very satisfied. Rooms are well insulated, hear very little noise at night. Have recommended this hotel to coworkers who have a similar experience as I have. Will be back next month. Staff is exceptional

Quite simply: this is one of the Best Western hotels in the chain. Everyone from the manager to the front desk staff, cleaners, cook, etc are absolutely wonderful. They make you feel at home. Definitely worth a stay!

The Patterson Park is certainly the best hotel in Ark City. It is pretty new, and it is well kept and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is basically out in the middle of nowhere, but is close to the hospital and a large movie theater. Breakfast is adequate, albeit very Sysco-like.

Great place to stay! The rooms are very clean and spacious and the desk people are friendly. Only downside, if you want a snack or drink there the prices are quite high. That is a minor thing really, this place is reasonably priced and worth the money.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus while visiting family in Arkansas City. It was a pleasant stay from start to finish. The hotel staff was very welcoming and always have a smile on their face. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. The hotel is relatively new which was a plus. The main areas of the hotel and the rooms are nicely decorated and clean. I was very impressed with the breakfast that was provided each morning. There was a wide variety of hot and cold options (too many to list here) and the food was constantly being restocked / refilled. Another great perk were the 'grab and go' bags the hotel provided in the mornings at the front desk which included a piece of fruit, granola bar and bottled water. The hotel also provided cookies in the evening at the front desk. I appreciated all of these gestures. The one thing to be aware of is the location. It is not in walking distance to any restaurants or shops. This was not an issue for me, but something worth noting. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and will return in the future.

Patterson Park Inn Best Western is a friendly place to stay in Arkansas City, KS. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast has a variety of items from sausage and eggs to fresh fruit. They even have to go bags with fruit and water if there's no time to eat! The pool is clean and well maintained. The property is a bit out of the way but worth the few extra miles!

hotel was clean and comfortable, hotel was in a easy to find location just off the main road, slightly out of town, but close to both Arkansas city and Winfield. Had very good breakfast in the morning, along with to go snack packs, Had a nice indoor pool and work out area. Parking lot was clean and well lighted with multiple entrance to building.

We highly recommend the Best Western Plus Hotel in Arkansas City Kansas. We travel with a small dog and they even gave us a "goodie bag" for our Sadie! The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!

You can tell immediately that this hotel is managed very well and is at a higher level than any other hotel I have visited. This Best Western is truly a diamond in this small town. The rooms were comfortable & CLEAN! I have never had so many cable channels to choose from so I was pleasantly surprised! They offer a great hot breakfast and the staff was so helpful & friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel, you will LOVE it!!

We stayed at this Best western for three night to get ready for and attend a wedding. The staff was extremely accommodating and everyone in our group was pleased. located between two communities it was easy to find some great little local cafes and restaurants for everyone to eat. The wedding reception was at Quail Valley Farms which is a magnificent little slice of heaven just south of Winfield, Kansas. We will be back again

We were at the hotel because a family member was dying, and we were visiting, and stayed for the funeral as well. The staff was kind and thoughtful from the first phone call to make the reservation. They were just amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we were well cared for. The included breakfast was also really, really good. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

we looked at two other properties closer to the center of town, but having seen a billboard advertisement for a Best Western Plus i wanted to check it out before we took one of the places closer to town. We were very happy to find the Best Western Plus Patterson Park Inn as it was superior in every way to the other two choices.

i travel the state for business, and i wish i could pack up this hotel and staff and take it all with me! the staff is above and beyond friendly. the rooms are eat off the floor clean AND the perfect size, i can even do my yoga! the bed is super comfy. perfect work space. plenty of plugins. and the wifi is consistent. the fitness center has everything you need. this spot is literally a home away from home.

We stayed at this motel for three nights while attending a music festival a few miles away. It was such a great motel in all aspects that we have booked a room for next year's festival. The room was spotless, comfortable, and all the other amenities - breakfast, pool, internet were excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly. The motel is a short distance from Arkansas City and in a rural area near the hospital. Highly recommend this motel!

I stayed at the hotel for a business trip recently and really enjoyed the hotel amenities and the wonderful customer service offered by the hotel staff. I was greeted warmly (always appreciated after a long day) and provided with everything I needed at check-in including the times for breakfast, internet access, and a list of restaurants for dinner. I was asked the next day how everything was and if there was anything else I needed during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel whether you are working in the area or visiting for leisure. The staff provides excellent service and the rooms are comfortable with up to date décor and amenities.

We found this Best Western location to be excellent. It is an extremely clean and well kept facility with EXCEPTIONAL staff! This will always be our 'Go To' location for all future family trips to Arkansas City. I tried several other hotels in Ark. City. No comparison to the BW. Housekeeping never forgot to clean my room. Breakfast way ahead of meager choices and only Lucky Charms at other hotels. Front desk staff and manager went out of their way to take care of my needs. I book this hotel a year ahead and return every year while working at the Walnut Valley Bluegrass festival in September.

Very nice place, attentive staff, would stay again. We stay here instead of camping for the Walnut Valley Music Festival, we'll definitely be back again. Good hotel for the price, it was a nice place to come back and nap during the hot afternoon. Not too crowded, was a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

I had to go to Ark City for a funeral and my parents said we were going to stay here and not Wichita -- I was really skeptical. However, this was probably one of the best hotel stays I've had in the last year. The place was sparkling clean, accommodating and very friendly staff, quiet and very comfortable. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in cities big and small, and this was hands down one of the best choices I've made.

We had never traveled to this part of the country before, but in reading previous reviews chose Best Western. We were attending a concert at the 7 clans casino which was very, close to the hotel. Best choice we could have made! Well kept Inn.clean rooms, up-scale furnishings but their most important asset was the front desk. Staff extremely cordial and willing to answer any question. Becca and Allysia Rock!!!

Clean, modern hotel. I travel frequently and this hotel compares favorably with other top chain hotels. Not many hotels in this area and this hotel is away from shopping and restaurants somewhat but really only a few minutes to find them. Steak house 3 miles away also a great Mexican restaurant a few minutes away. A sign would be helpful if arriving from the south. I will stay at this hotel the next time I am in the area.

This is a new hotel for us. Upon arrival, they made us feel welcomed with our dog, not second class like most "pet friendly" hotels we have found. Once in our room, we were presented with a doggie bag of goodies for our dog along with a "person" letter on rules and regulations but it was done in a warm, friendly manner. We were not given a room with tile on the floor, and beat up furniture like we have experienced in the past. Will definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly, the rooms were decorated nicely and the breakfast was very good. Way to go BW!.

We stayed for 4 days in a suite. It came with fridge-stove-dishwasher- lots of great things. The fall backs were the pillow are half the size of a regular pillow, the stove is a two burner but I don't think it was thought through when they put it in. The range is so low you can't see barely to cook your food. They say the room comes with dishes but it only comes with pots and pans that are double to size of the burners and you can't even cook well. The whole cooking in the room really does not go over well. It needs to be re done. Just to accommodate those with families trying to save some money and cook. Every thing else was good but that.

During your stay that was the only suite available and I will be sure to visit with the front desk agents about letting guests know ahead of time what type of room they are assigning a guest to. We've stayed here a few times over last couple of years. Always extremely pleased. Hotel staff is amazing; friendly, professional, helpful. Entire property is very clean. Guest room and all common areas are like new clean. Large guest room. Bathroom and vanity have plenty of room. Good shower. Bed and linens are good. We've been there when hotel is full and not nearly full. Noise level is fine either way. Breakfast is way above average for BW. In general I'm not a fan of Best Western. This property is way better than every other BW we've ever stayed in. I rarely give an excellent rating. This property deserves it.

second year we have stayed here. very nice, newer, clean and pleasant place to stay until........a fall in the tub due to a slick tub bottom with only a few, worn tub strips. and very little followup.

Very nice hotel for a town the size of Ark. City. It's really the only NICE limited service hotel in town, as far as I'm concerned. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Very quiet area on the north end of town. Only potential negative is that there are no eating establishments within walking distance of the hotel. Not a huge drawback, but nonetheless, you have to get in your car and drive a little over 2 miles to find anything to eat.

First of all I'd like to say I never leave reviews but after this incredible experience I feel obligated to commend all the great people that make this best western stand out. I've stayed in $700+ a nite hotels, world wide resorts etc. For my US business I stay at 100-$150 a nite hotels all over the country, I only stay at holiday inn express or Hampton inn usually for the consistency, speed, locations etc, in this case I had business in Arkansas city KS and found the best western to be the only real hotel in town. I was not afraid to book given their phenomenal reviews, I was actually excited to see what the hype was all about, I mean come on how great could a hotel in the middle of farm land be?. Not only were my expectations met but they were exceeded! I love this hotel, I actually can't wait to go back there! The grounds are beautiful, the hotels brand new, completely spotless inside and out. The staff is made up of good looking very energetic young people that greet you with a smile. The beds were fantastic, I rarely get a good deep sleep while on the road, for the first time in years I was knocked out like I was at home. Great staff Great comfort Beautiful hotel Ice cold A/c Incredible rooms, very clean very roomy Nice TV's in room As far as $100-$150 a nite hotel breakfasts go it was the best I've ever had. Plenty of Parking, I had a trailer with me also Nice pool Great outdoor seating area! Can't wait to go back to Ark city just to stay at this hotel, I was dreading that business trip at first due to the heat and the location but this best western made the whole deal enjoyable! We love this hotel and the people who run it! We have stayed there three times now over the past two years. The people go out of their way to help you at the desk -in the room -and at breakfast. Clean and Fashionable rooms, lobby, and pool. Friendly staff with a great sense of humor. They have fresh hot cookies every evening!! And a wonderful breakfast buffet that has something for everyone – toddlers, teens, health food, and even breakfast to go! (also biscuits and gravy) This hotel is right next to the hospital in the area. Convenient for family. Located between Winfield and Arkansas City. Highly recommended.

Best Western at Patterson park is a very clean and friendly hotel. It is only a few years old but the manager here is doing a great job running it. I lived in Arkansas City when the hotel was built and know the area. This is the only hotel in the area I would take my family. It is leaps and bounds above its competition, and the price is still reasonable. We also brought a dog this trip and they made sure to accommodate him as well which was a pleasant surprise. The rooms also have excellent black out curtains, we brought our 14mo old and nap time went well with the dark room.

We were in Ark City for a wedding and family reunion. I spend at least 10 days a month in hotels (if not more) and I love the beds in the Best Western Plus. The staff at this BW was so incredibly friendly and helpful. And that doesn't just include the front desk. The breakfast staff was great and so were the housekeepers. The rooms were clean, the hallways and lobby were clean. The breakfast area was inviting. Let's talk breakfast... it's not your run of the mill cold cereal and donuts with a waffle maker. Two of the three days we were there they had a "build your own breakfast burrito" Fabulous. My daughter played in the pool for hours and that area was always clean and stocked with towels. The location was great, between Winfield and Ark City. I would most definitely stay here again. And since I have family in the area, it will happen sooner or later!

Very comfortable, clean, quiet, nice Best Western property conveniently located between Winfield & Ark City. Awesome hotel, great rates, my room was very clean and the staff was exceptional. I was staying for business in the area and could have easily spent more time at this location if necessary and been plenty comfortable. To put the icing on the cake I accidentally left my favorite sun glasses in my room and the staff called me on my drive home and let me know that they found them and would be more than happy to mail them to me!

It was a last minute decision because of a sad and emotional time for me and my family. The staff was very accommodating to my needs for four rooms. My name was put on a waiting list and as soon as there were any cancellations I was called immediately. Very little was spoken of the death of my mother. To our surprise, a bag of jelly beans tied to a balloon with a very caring note was placed in each room. Those little things mean so much. It is obvious the ladies in the Breakfast Room enjoy their job. They are so caring and the breakfast choices were impressive. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Thank you to all of the staff!

They got the best waffles in the world. the girls that work are awesome. They have candy waiting for you. I think the workout room is nice. Guest laundry comes in handy. The rooms are nice and clean. Cant beat the location.

Very nice hotel. Very helpful staff. A little pricey for the area and the breakfast bar was just okay. The beds were not comfortable for me as I require a very soft bed. The hotel itself was immaculate and the staff were very friendly and hospitable. I would recommed you stay there yourself and I would definately stay there again even thought my sleep quality was on the poor end of things.

Stayed here with my sister, who was on business. The room was clean, the lobby was clean. The breakfast was yummy. While everything about this hotel was impressive, the thing I want to praise most is the staff. From front desk to housekeeping, the staff was always friendly, always kind, and very eager to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. They are such a pleasure that I am absolutely convinced Best Western knows how to treat it's employees with dignity. I would absolutely recommend Patterson Park to anyone again and again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay a treat!! P.S. Although the hotel is non-smoking throughout, Patterson Park has a comfortable and well-kept outdoor area in back with seating and an industrial ashtray!!

In just the right place off the hwy, for a rest stop. Clean Hotel swimming pool is great. breakfast is very good with a lot of choices. prices are good for the rooms you get. All in all it is the best, place to relax, have business meetings and family events.

Pros: beautiful location, it's a really beautiful, peaceful part of Kansas. Breakfast was outstanding - sausage links with scrambled eggs. Coffee is good. Very clean, new hotel. And the SERVICE IS AMAZING. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful and seem to really enjoy their jobs. Cons: I can't think of any. This hotel is between Ark City and Winfield, so you do have to drive a few miles either way to get into town but it's not very far.

Best breakfast I have had at a hotel! Very clean rooms and common areas, friendly staff. Kids had fun in the pool. Very accommodating with getting all our family rooms close together. We will definitely stay there again if we are in town.

Enjoyed our visit in Ark City especially the Best Western! Traveling with a toddler and a dog, we needed a quiet space for naps .....we were pleased to find a nice hotel that would accept our schnauzer. The employees were very helpful and quite friendly.

We visited our daughter and spent 2 nights at the Best Western. It is new, nicely appointed. The staff is exceptional. We left some computer cords cords in the room when we checked out. We got a call about an hour later letting us know and we were able to retrieve them quickly.

Clean and friendly- The hotel has a few extra details that are very thoughtful. Bottled water and fresh fruit at breakfast bar is one example. Only items I would change is the quality of the tissue and tp..a little cheap and rough. The hallway noise at 7:30 am from housekeeping if person was sleeping in could possibly be a problem. Otherwise wonderful stay and will stay again.

When my sister fell ill, this property was within 2 blocks of the hospital she was admitted to. Being from out-of-state, I had no idea what to do and Best Western's front desk staff worked with me to obtain lodging for my husband and I so we could be close to the hospital. We had never stayed at a Best Western and were impressed with all aspects of the experience.

When we were leaving the man working for the hotel was standing by side door smoking. Terrible for a hotel to be smoke free and allow their employees to smoke right by where you enter the hotel. My son has asthma and we had to walk right through his smoke.

If you are looking for a place that makes you feel special from the time you arrive to the time you leave consider this hotel!!! The breakfast was incredible and the hotel staff is second to none!! Thank you for a wonderful everything!!! Anywhere I go I will look for a Best Western Plus. Everytime!!

We have a son that plays basketball at SouthWestern College and my family look forward to staying at Best Western each time we come see him play. We love the comfort of the rooms, the entire staff is extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast is one of the best you can get at any hotel. My 14 year old son loves the indoor pool. BestWestern is the way to go! Quality at an affordable price!

We enjoy seeing you and your family when you come up from Texas to watch your son play basketball at our local college. The friendliest staff I have ever encountered in all my years of staying in hotels. I would go back just for how friendly the staff was. The rooms were good also. Got there late but still were great. My wife stayed at the hotel while I had my meeting and the staff was very very friendly.

We stayed there after a concert. It was very clean, good chocolate chip cookies, friendly staff. I was wishing I had brought my swimming suit, nice indoor pool and workout room. There were many choices for breakfast. Very nice stay, I would stay again.

Stayed here last week for business in the area. Coming from NYC earlier in the week, it was a little bit of a shocker to drive into smaller-town Kansas and not see a ton of hotel options. Our company chose the Best Western Plus and I was very pleased. Generally, I frequent Hilton family hotels and don't consider anything else, but it's refreshing to see other brands with very similar standards of excellence. The room was very modern and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was great and there was ample parking for the guest rooms. Regarding the location, you're a few minutes away from central Arkansas City, but that's all I know. Seemed pretty good as it was on a major highway. Hotel also had free wi-fi...not so common these days. Very pleased.

The hotel was nice inside and out. The rooms were clean. The free breakfast was good. All the staff was friendly that I had come in contact with. Whether it was house keeping or the front desk or ladies working on breakfast. The area only had 5 hotels and I'm glad I picked this one as I wasn't disappointed. A plus is they have an indoor pool as when we went it was too cold out side to swim.

My family and I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the past 3 years since we started touring college's for our daughters. Best Western plus in Arkansas city,KS was one of the nicest stays we have had yet. Front desk girl Katelyn went be on and way above what we believe was her job too make our visit and stay veryyyy nice. Clean rooms and professional staff throughout our two day stay. We will definitely stay there again because of Katelyn.

I recently went to Winfield KS for a campus visit at Southwestern College. We stayed at the BW since it was rated so well. I can clearly see why. We got in late in the evening and we had a quick check in. Although I did get my dates mixed up and reserved for the wrong night, the gentleman working the night shift was very nice and still got us a room quickly. The next morning I spoke with the Asst Manager Alissa. I explained to her my mistake and I was refunded the money that was charged to me for the wrong night. This way I didn't pay twice. Alissa is a very nice lady. Very approachable and makes you feel like you are talking with someone you have known for a long time. We later checked out and while I was on the campus I realized I might have left my wallet at the breakfast area of the hotel. Right when I was about to call, I received a call from Alissa letting me know I had left my wallet. I asked her if I could just pick it up after the tour since I was already on campus with my daughter. Alissa, who is Southwestern Alumni, offered to drive it to me when she got out of work. WOW!! That was so nice of her. Now some people may say "you ok with someone having your wallet like that?", which I did get asked. I said first off, I left it there so if anyone was going to do something with my wallet, it has probably already been done. Second, I did not get a bad vibe from Alissa. She seemed very genuine. Shortly after, Alissa called me and met me at the location I was at on campus and got my wallet. I couldn't help but give her a hug. People like Alissa keep customers coming back and give you good feels and confidence that within our society today, there are still people like Alissa in this world. If my daughter chooses Southwestern, BW will definitely be my hotel of choice when I visit her. Best wishes Alissa from Austin, TX! I hope BW appreciates everything you do for them! Clean hotel with a great staff. Breakfast had something for everyone, fruit, meat, eggs, biscuits/gravy and they even offered to go bags for those that didn't have time to sit and eat. Nice benefit is they have showers instead of tubs in the rooms.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was, since we were in such a small town. It was very easy to make our reservation by phone. I confirmed at that time that our two small dogs were welcome. When we arrived, we found the hotel to be new, clean, and beautifully decorated. The same lady I spoke to on the phone for reservations was at the desk. She was very friendly at check in, and said there were dog treats waiting in the room. Yet we were still surprised to find balloons attached to gift bags full of treats --one for each of our two dogs! That was just such a nice special touch! The hotel was immaculate and stylish, and we highly recommend it.

Nice new hotel but having issues with cleanliness. Front desk staff fixed immediately but no one ever entered the room to put in new towels or clean on second day. Front desk was very professional and attentive. We stayed over Christmas so may have been short of cleaning staff. The continental breakfast was adequate. Did not go into pool or exercise areas.

On behalf of our entire team, I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future. We have researched the Housekeeping logs and unfortunately we made a mistake. All guests who checked in the week of Christmas that were going to be in house on Christmas Day were given a letter written by me explaining that we would not provide Housekeeping on Christmas Day. I value my Housekeeping team and give them that day off to spend with their family. However, again our mistake that when you extended your stay, the front desk agent did not give you the letter or at least explain that to you. This is not how we operate here at Best Western Plus Patterson Park Inn. We take pride in our hotel and want to offer an exceptional experience to every guest that walks in the door and ensure their entire stay from beginning to end exceeded their expectations. For all of the trouble we have credited your Best Western Rewards and we have sent you a Best Western travel card to your home address. Please come back and allow us to show you that this is not how we operate on a daily basis.

This is the hotel you should stay if you visit the area. the room were very clean. the staff was always helpful. and the breakfast was great each of the 10 days I was there. My coworker was impressed as well. When I return to the area This will be the hotel of choice if it is not sold out.

Beautiful Lobby and Rooms. The staff was great. The property was squeaky clean. I would highly recommend this property to any and all. I left before breakfast, so I can't comment on that. But I slept very well and would stay again.

Very pleased with this motel. It was clean, comfortable, the staff made us feel welcome. We had planned staying two or three days but the weather reports were a ice storm the day after thanksgiving, we were able to cancel the remaining days without any problems. We travel quite a lot, for the $ it can't be beat. The breakfast was outstanding.

I was very happy to find this hotel when searching for a place to stay 5 nights while on business in Ark City. It was very easy to find on a main hwy just outside of town and very convenient to my work and many restaurants stores and such. The Hotel is new or kept new and is very clean with a professional staff. Checking in and out was very fast and efficient. The lady at Breakfast would always great you with a good morning and how are you! Overall a very comfortable to stay and very kind employees there as well.

We stayed at this hotel due to a death in our family. The staff was very helpful during our time in Arkansas City. They even made sure that we had a ballon in our room for our 1 year old grand daughter. Clean, great breakfast, rooms clean, easy to find. I would stay again for business or on vacation.

Arkansas City is very fortunate to have such a nice motel in it's city. The staff is very accommodating and room are super clean and quiet. Nice fitness facility and warm pool to swim in. Nice Breakfast and coffee machine makes great coffee.

This is an excellent hotel. Great customer service, very clean, and comfortable beds. Much nicer than any other hotel in Ark City or Winfield! There is no need to book any other hotel because I have stayed at several in the area. This is, by far, the best!

The photos online make the Best Western Plus Patterson park Inn look new, clean and comfortable so I chose to stay there on a business trip. I arrived in the dark so the first good impression was the new-looking concrete parking lot. The lobby was very clean and my room on the first floor, near the lobby, was quiet all night. I appreciated the décor in the lobby and room and the Wi-Fi signal was strong enough to watch movies on my iPhone with no interruptions. The staff was very helpful and kind.

I was in this area to visit a local genealogy library. I called the library and asked them if they could recommend a decent hotel in the area, and they told me about this property. It met my needs perfectly, and I'll always stay at this property when in this area.

I have stayed here twice for business in Winfield. Close to Ark City Downtown and Winfield Downtown. You feel very welcome when you first arrive and as you leave. They truly care for your needs and wants. Breakfast is normal hotel food, not bad but not filling either.

My room was comfortable and had all amenities I needed. The bed was the perfect softness and I fell asleep right away. Wireless internet was fast and easy to access, which is extremely important since I often have to work on my laptop from the hotel room. Breakfast was delicious and the staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm definitely glad I chose Best Western for my stay in Ark City. Thanks for everything!

We found our stay here very enjoyable! The hotel was very clean and the atmosphere and interior was very pleasing to the eye! The hotel staff were very helpful! Loved that they had milk and yogart in a refrigerator, free for guest! We were traveling with two toddlers and we loved that we could grap them a late night snack of milk and yogart on our way to the room! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful, and the room we stayed in is very accommodating. The indoor pool is a plus when the weather is cold or bad. When we stayed here during the winter, it was nice that our kids had something to do. The location is centrally located between Winifield and Ark City, KS. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.

This hotel is between Arkansas City and Winfield, near a new hospital and medical center. It's about 4 miles to one and 7 miles to the other. I routinely drive farther than that here in Houston to get to stores or restaurants, but somehow it seems farther when driving through open farmland of Kansas. The hotel looks new and is quiet and comfortable, but you will have to eat elsewhere.

Excellent place to stay, especially for the price! Enjoyed my stay and plan to stay there again when back in the area. The breakfast was very well prepared and had a wide menu selection. All the staff was tremendous and helpful.

What a very nice and accommodating Best Western. It's one of the best ones we've stayed at and we usually stay at Best Westerns while traveling. It was clean. The staff was friendly. I will say that I was a little disappointed in the breakfast the one morning we were there. I've had better choices at other Best Westerns. The person bringing out the food had a hard time keeping up with a slightly busy time. I would suggest to ALL Best Westerns that they need to have more than 1 toaster so people don't have to wait. We had to leave on our last day prior to breakfast starting at 7 a.m. Perhaps it would have been a little better. Other than that, we certainly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel with extremely pleasant employees. I was here on business for 1 week and I was pleased with the stay. I was also pleased with the breakfast choices and found them to be fresh and tasty.

Great place to stay. Fairly new and very quiet. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds for a good nights rest. This has to be the best hotel in Arkansas City. Would definitely stay here again.
