Best Western Hotel Temple Inn & Suites, Temple

Lime scale all over shower heads. AC worked except for the lights that displayed the temperature so we never knew what temp it was set to. Old carpet bunched up in corners, chipped paint all over walls, chipped furniture, rust covering the legs of the ice machine and rusty water leaking all over the floor. Horrible mattresses... concave and felt every single spring. This was a $75/night hotel quality, not a $100+ hotel quality. We were traveling to a funeral so thankfully we only had to spend one night. Will not be back.

This hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful! I was there for an extended stay and I had the best service there! The owner was always nice, and Carrie and Adrian were always very helpful! I loved staying there!

Business trip. Right beside a Texas Roadhouse which was a bonus. Would stay here again if ever in Temple. Just a few little set backs with a dirty fridge that someone spilled something and it was not cleaned up and needs black out curtains to block the light from parking lot and Texas Roadhouse.

My husband and I were so pleased with this location. The entire hotel was clean and the staff were beyond friendly. We especially enjoyed meeting Amber who is a front desk clerk. She was very welcoming and helpful. We were there for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier throughout our stay.

Many area were freshly painted. Our room was "roomy" and clean. We liked having the sink/bar area with water. The bed was comfortable. Everything was in working order. There were many breakfast choices, both hot and cold. We would stay again.

Very spacious room. Everything seemed clean and well maintained. Included a couch and coffee table which was nice for a family of four. Used the laundry facility which was $1 a wash and $1.50 for dry. $1.50 for detergent. The dryer was not great. All loads damp. To be expected from coin wash. Biggest annoyance was the pool was closed despite being advertised. We paid more to have a hotel with a pool for the kids so that was very disappointing.

We had a nice stay at Best Western Temple. Good clean rooms and comfortable clean beds. Curtious staff. Affordable price. I will be staying here again next time I go that way. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Best Western in Temple is a great place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and quiet. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is wonderful. You cannot go wrong choosing Best Western Temple. It is our home when we visit our family in Temple.

Stayed here 5 times in last 5 months. Always welcoming, positive friendly attitudes from all interactions with staff in different departments. Serve good hot breakfast. Comfortable would stay again. Great location.

Very clean rooms, guest service was excellent. Easy access to hotel and plenty of parking. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Very courteous staff. Checked in with no problems. I've stayed at this location several times and I've never experienced any problems.

Good price if you don't mind putting up with a hotel with dirty common areas. The stairs hadn't been vacuumed in I don't know how long. Crushed crackers and food wrappers. The dust in the lobby area was horrible. Most hotels are extra clean during the past year and a half. Not this place. It makes you wonder if it's a safe place to stay. I visit Temple every quarter. I won't be staying here again.

We always stay at the Temple Best Western when in town. Friendly hotel staff and nice rooms. Conveniently located no matter which direction you are traveling. Good Best Western hot breakfast with Texas shaped wafflemaker!

This Best Western is serving a good hot breakfasts again. Hopefully that will spread to all of them. This hotel was very nice and checked all the boxes. It is close to the freeway but was still quiet.

it's unfortunate that the rooms aren't clean and the sheets have stains on them as well as the ceilings have water mark everywhere. Some areas looks like mold. When told the receptionist about the rooms they just offered to change the sheets for an extra charge. Did not offer to have service clean the room or change rooms. Not every good customer services.

Stayed here while visiting our son, so we weren't really looking for someplace super posh we would be hanging out in. However, this hotel was a great choice! Everything was exceptionally clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable enough that we could have spent more time in it if we needed to. There was a cute little pool, too, but we didn't have a chance to explore it or the other on site facilities. Plenty of parking, and breakfast was pretty much what you would expect. Overall, this was a great choice to stay at.

We were visiting our son and stayed here for a week in a King Suite. Great room, great breakfast, all you could ask for. The one thing was the window looking out from our room was so dirty on the outside you could barely see through it. Would not have included that but had to reach 200 characters!!

First time here so didn't know what to expect. I was very pleased at the cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort of the room and by the wonderful complimentary breakfast provided. The hotel was decent, but needed improvements to the breakfast area and the fitness center. We didn't have any problems with the room. The furniture was a little banged up but clean overall. The fitness center had older equipment, one set of weights and no cleaning supplies to wipe equipment. Breakfast area was very small which made it crowded and difficult to maneuver and find seating.

The place was clean, the night staff was very friendly and accommodating to us. The breakfast was fresh and there was a good variety of healthy foods. Overall it was a nice stay. There were a selection of items for purchase that were convenient.

The room was clean. The staff was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. Unlike most hotels, they ae serving a full breakfast! The hotel is older and appears to be under renovations. It was previously a hotel that allowed smoking in some rooms because you can still smell an old smoke smell in some rooms.

Checking in and out very easy and efficient. Front desk employees were very pleasant and efficient also. Room was clean and television, refrigerator, microwave all in good working order. I will definitely stay here again.

I booked a room at this hotel for a girls weekend away with my daughter. All around the outside of the hotel there is trash stuffed inside bushes and strewn around various exterior areas. Check in was efficient but I won't say welcoming. Our room was decent and what we booked, however it too was full of trash. The fridge in the room still had food left in it from a previous guest. There was a toilet paper roll behind the toilet and around the couch, beds, and dresser and desk was several pieces of trash. The room had clean towels and sheets, but I didn't get the impression that the room had been cleaned further than that. In the mornings the hand sink backed up with water when other guests were taking showers. I evidentially paid the premium for a dirty and litter filled room and I was seriously thinking of cutting our stay short, but my daughter ended up in the ER for appendicitis and so we stayed the full booking so she could get some rest after her surgery. Best Western used to be the best in the hospitality business. It seems it is not anymore.

Love, love, love this hotel, what more can I say? My husband and I travel alot for work and consider this place our home away from home when we are in Temple. Clean, comfortable rooms, top notch bed and bedding, and very quiet. They have remodeled the top floor and are working on the first floor. The owner is always working to inprove his hotel and it sure shows.

Room was very clean and didn't have any smell. Bathrooms very clean but TheToilet flush is very noisy. Friendly staff. Small breakfast but sufficient. You could hear the music from the Texas Roadhouse until about 11:00.

I always stay at this Best Western when I visit. I stay here about 3-4 time a year and I have NEVER had a problem. Always clean rooms, safe environment and the staff are always so nice. Texas Roadhouse next door so dinners always convenient. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Love this hotel and wish I could give it 10 stars. Every time I travel to Temple, which is fairly often, I stay here. Top notch service, a nice clean room, comfortable bed, and peace and quiet. Hotel is close to the freeway but, it is so quiet inside. Never heard a peep from my neighbors. So restful!

We stayed here while visiting friends there on a road trip. The room was disgusting. White stuff all over the bed skirt and I mean all over and it was clearly from being really dirty and God knows what! Stains and hair all over the bed sheets and mattress. When we checked in, the lady told us it was there very last room. We still should have asked for anotherroom once we found out our room was disgusting, but it was so late andwe drove 13 hours that day and had towake up early to drive 10 more,so I can't say all rooms were like that.But I'll never stay at a Best Western again.

Really enjoyed our three day stay at this well kept, clean and quiet hotel. The sfaff is professional and friendly and really welcoming. It is a great location close to restaurants and entertainment. We will definitely be back!

My only issue was the temperature display for the room AC was missing some segments so it was hard to tell what the actual set temperature was, but was still able to adjust to my liking. Also the indicator light for the cool button was not operating so at first I wasn't sure it was cooling. Room 203.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and In good working order. It was a little noisy outside late (people talking loud) but it was July 4th so maybe that's why. But overall it was a very good experience and will certainly stay here again when we're in the area.

The whole place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We really missed the breakfast in the dining room. We love to get waffles when we stay at hotels. All they have now is grab and go. The front doors were locked and the lady was cold to me when I was trying to check in. I guess they must have a new policy for check in now too.

I was in town for a funeral and booked the room the night before. Mary, the front desk clerk did a good job. I booked a 2 queen bed siute. I did not like the room lay out. The bathroom had a toilet and shower. The sink was in the main room. I did not like that. Other than that, the place was clean, I felt that my vehicle was safe, and the location is close to the IH35. Texas Roadhouse is behind the hotel and it was easy to get around.

Our two-day stay couldn't have been better! Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the bed and pillows were great for us. The exercise room was a plus! Breakfast was more than adequate and the woman who cared for it kept everything well-stocked and very clean, all the while being pleasant to everyone. Great hospitality! The price and location were exceptional. We'll definitely return when we're next in Temple!

This hotel was way better than I expected. The room was VERY clean and VERY spacious. The front desk staff was always friendly, helpful and very professional. Breakfast choices were above expectations. Very quite! Good location too. Easy in / out to I-35

We have stayed in Temple many times, but this has become our favorite place. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The staff is very good. What tops it off is the breakfast. There is a large variety of items for breakfast. The eggs had sausage cooked in them. There was sausage, biscuits, potatoes and waffles as hot items. They had a machine that served up cold vanilla yogurt and different toppings to put on it. Fresh fruit and all the other norma; continental breakfast items. This is a great place to stay.

Stayed here three nights while attending the Scottish gathering. The room has a king bed and a nice comfortable chair and was quite large. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was just the ordinary hotel free breakfast but I appreciated not having to find somewhere to eat in the morning. A nice large bathroom with plenty of counterspace and plenty of towels. Having extra towels was good because there were a couple of towels which to me looked not cleaned or at least they were stained. I had a first-floor room at the end of the hall which was nice and quiet.

We would recommend Best Western in Temple,TX for the traveler and the long-term stay guests. The hotel is clean and wellkept and the breakfast is slightly above average for this level of hotel. Good value for the money.

We were on our way from Winnipeg, MB to South Texas. The hotel is close to the freeway and easy to access now that the construction is complete. Breakfast was hot and fresh and we were able to quickly get on our way in the morning. Hotel was clean and tidy and perfect for our needs. We stay here nearly every year on our way South. The Texas Roadhouse is just behind the hotel, so no need to drive to get dinner. We would recommend this hotel to others.

Good stay; reasonable rates. Right next door to Texas Roadhouse which is great for meals. Very nice incoming reception. Breakfast was good; numerous choices. Hotel is an older property but maintained.

We are Best Western reward members so we usually look first at Best Western hotels. Located right off I-35 Hwy. This was close to the Mayborn Civic Center where we were going. And there is a Texas Roadhouse restaurant within walking distance if you needed to walk. Very nice hotel. And they gave us a free upgrade to a suite. Room very comfortable with couch and king bed. Little kitchen sink, microwave, and refrigerator. Bathroom nice large size. AC worked well. Have a small store next to the hotel desk to pickup drinks and snacks.

Our Intentions were to stay in Waco but it was Baylor Family Day! All Hotels were seriously over priced, so we decided to look away from Waco. We got terrific rates, great comfort, clean rooms, perfect pool & superb breakfast! We got 2 rooms for the 6 of us...Ashley helped us get rooms across from each other...we appreciated that! We visited the railroad museum & the park right next to it. The kids LOVED IT! We also conveniently walked to The Roadhouse Restaurant & had quite "The Meal". It was a really good stay & would highly recommend this hotel to anyone & everyone.

MY stay here was pleasant but not overly satisfying. I t was a great place to rest a few hours then move on. The sheets smelled like laundry detergent and the room was just so so. It was very close to Horny Toad Harley.

Close to interstate but no noise, exceptional room for price, comfortable bed, great staff, breakfast was surprisingly great, lots of choices, clean breakfast area, shower was perfect, hot water, lots of towels. Great bargain.

We have returned to this Best Western for several years when attending an annual conference because it is well kept, the staff is kind and helpful, and it is very convenient. There is also a Texas Roadhouse restaurant next door, always a bonus!

The room smelt when you came in I think because the room was damp. Our clothes were damp and wet feeling..very gross. Kept the air running all the time but didn't help. The room was ok and the breakfast was decent with good selection. The pool was gross too...totally green Not sure when it was cleaned if ever.

Hotel is next to interstate with nighttime truck traffic. The noise was intense. Room had cockroaches which eluded pest spraying. Carpet was filthy and turned my white socks a dark gray. TV was still programmed with analog channels. Wireless internet signal was low in room and often dropped out. Breakfast was mediocre. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

A bit older but still clean, comfortable with fantastic customer service! Mary at the front desk helped us navigate the area... there is so much construction we kept hitting 'road closed' signs. Airline had left our luggage behind because of issues at BWI so we needed some things and Mary helped us with that. As with most BW the bed is a most welcome end of day experience!

Great location for truckers. Restaurant is located nearby for easy access to food. Staff is friendly, room is clean, and bed is comfortable. I always stay here when I pass thru if they have a room. Will definitely be back.

This place is in desperate need of updating. The bed was hard,the pillows lumpy,the walls had stains on them,the sofa also had stains on it. The carpet smelled musty. The room was noisy. I would not recommend.

The room was already cooled when we checked in. Like 70 degrees. It was so humid outside this felt great. However, at bedtime—the sheets felt damp. I'm not sure if it was just extra cold or the humidity followed us into the room. I thought about calling the desk, but decided not to and would if I couldn't go to sleep. I went to sleep. If I ever go back through Temple and need to stay the night, this is the hotel I will use.

This hotel was convenient to Waco, but our room seemed run down. The sink faucet had what appeared to be toothpaste on it from a previous occupant. The couch in our room was also stained. It seemed the room needed some TLC. The employees were kind. The breakfast was as expected nothing great, but it was fine. Also our room was hard to keep at a pleasant temperature. I am not sure how well the ac unit was working.

My stay at the Best Western in Temple was great, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast offered was of good quality, and my room looked great with a comfortable bed. My only issue is that the construction on the 35 makes it difficult to get to the hotel, and if you miss a turn you'll be going for miles before you can get turned around. Overall a great experience, not the fault of the hotel the construction is in the way!

Best Western and it's many other name hotels, always have good services. This one in Temple, TX had just that; Good service. I booked this hotel, and asked for a top floor in the "special requests" section. Got to the hotel and the manager give me a bottom. However, later he met me at the entrance door and realize I booked for a top room. It's like he read my mind. The only criticism I have to say about my stay here is that the beds are too firm, no tags that say "do not disturb", and lol no potatoes on the breakfast table. Yeah, I have to get muscle relaxer pills from my girlfriend, because the bed made my back too stiff. And a do not disturb sign would've been great, because housekeeper just be knocking their hearts out. I mean I know they have a job to do, but me and girl you know? Lol, I'll keep that there. The breakfast wasn't too bad, I just wish they served potatoes. Furthermore, I'll be back at this hotel again. I just need to bring one of those bed forms... You know that thick therapeutic pad to make the your sleep better.

As a frequent business traveler I appreciate the simple things in a hotel. My stay here had all that I needed. Comfortable bed, clean room and quiet night's sleep. We liked it enough to stay here again when we were visiting our son. We were very pleased with the stay. Front office staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, AC worked well and the room was quiet. Cost of room was $77 which I thought was reasonable for our stay. This is now our 1st choice when staying in Temple.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Not much in area of the Best Western other than a Texas Roadhouse. Undersized pool was a disappointment for the kids. Breakfast items plentiful but hot items didn't maintain temp well.

We stayed here twice on our trip and we're very pleased. It's a small hotel; nothing fancy. The room was clean and the beds were firm. The pool was small, but clean. The breakfast area had lots of choices. Eggs, sausage, cereal and waffles. I would recommend this to anyone needing to stay in this area.

We needed somewhere to stay for one night as we thought it was too far to go from Oklahoma City to San Antonio in one go (as it happened we could have done it). We chose this hotel because we like Best Westerns and because there is a Texas Roadhouse next door (10% discount at the Roadhouse). It is a good hotel and was quiet, despite the roadworks nearby. The breakfast was good, although the breakfast area is very small - we were fine because it was a weekend and we were in very early.

Mike and his staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is convenient to IH 35 - despite all of the construction in the Temple area. Rates are very reasonable.

The beds were super comfy! Yummy breakfast though the orange juice was watered down. They even had almond milk which was a nice surprise. My son loves staying at BW because they serve eggs and sausage not just cereal and pastry. I like staying at BW because they are consistent from location to location. I've never had a bad experience with BW!

If you can get to the hotel, you will have a positive experience. Breakfast of sausage and eggs daily, and nice lunch/supper place within walking distance. (nice the it was something other than Denny's). The property was clean and the employees were all cordial.

We are very happy with the room. It's uber clean My big news here is the hot breakfast. They have biscuits and gravy, which I love. The big big news is the coffee. I'm Cajun. I'm usually disappointed with coffee in Texas. It's usually a bit weak. The coffee at the BW is strong. I'm happy about that. Look, if you're traveling this is an ideal place to stay. The road construction (4-21-18) makes getting her from the south on I-35 a challenge. Google Maps got us here, but at night, it was a bit treacherous with all of the concrete walls and the narrow passages on the access roads. We're here one more night. I'll let you know how that goes. So far today, it's very well worth it.

The room was ok could use a good deep cleaning, the pool was not in working order ,which would have been nice to know before we booked, because we would have looked elsewhere. The worst was the manager calling my room at 10pm and waking up my family to accuse us of smoking in a non smoking room, Even after I assured him no one in our room smokes he insisted it was us because there was no one else near our room. He said was goin g to come check our room in the morning and if he smelled any smoke there would be serious consequences. In the morning we went to get him to check our room while we where still there , before we left for the day (because we didn't want him in there while we were gone)he said no he would go whenever he felt like it because it was his hotel and he could do what he wanted. He made us feel uncomfortable the rest of the time there, we finished our trip at a different hotel.

We have stayed here three times and with each review, I've added a star. The hotel has obviously been refurbished fairly recently, as the paint, carpet, and decor look fresh. Our room was large, quiet, comfortable, and clean, with a microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast has the standard offerings (muffins and breads, waffle maker, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage) but the quality is better than some comparable chains. Every staff member was courteous and helpful. There is some never-ending construction near the hotel but it's not difficult to navigate. There is a Texas Roadhouse next door for a good and easy dinner option (but go early if possible to beat the crowd.) The Best Western Temple is a great place to stay!

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. WiFi signal was strong. We stayed for the morning breakast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee and milk. Juice, waffles, an assortment of cold cereals, fruit and yogurt were also available. Very pleasant. While taking a family vacation we stayed here overnight only to find in the morning our car had been broken into & everything inside stole. The hotel staff was amazing! They were so kind to us while we tried to figure out the steps we needed to take. They fed us, even though past advertised breakfast times, worked with law enforcement and gave us a jump drive with camera footage of incident Incase needed for insurance. We had 2 others families with us & they extended checkout for all rooms until we were able to get things situated. The hotel was clean & comfortable regardless of our unfortunate luck. Even had it not been their kindness and generosity went above and beyond my expectations for hotel staff!

Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. Will definitely stay here again if we're in the area. We requested a crib before arrival and it was ready and waiting in our room.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for a business trip. Everything was awesome with the exception of the bed which was very hard, but doable. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was standard pan sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuits, and your normal breads and such. The only bad thing about breakfast is they and a lot of places do it but they end breakfast at 9:00 am and a lot of people don't get up until 9 or 10:00 am so maybe that should be looked at. We travel to Temple at least every six months and from the first time we stayed six years ago, we knew we found a place to hang our hats. It is truly home away from home. The staff is great, good breakfast, clean rooms.

I stayed here with my family and had a very cozy stay. I didn't had a single complaint during my entire stay. Hotel Service was prompt and everything else was at there place. The staff here really treat me well. The hotel is clean, the beds and pillows are very comfortable allowing me to sleep well too. I stay in Temple every month for work. I have also stayed at other hotels here. All the above are reasons I repeatedly choose Best Western.

I have stayed at the Best Western on General Bruce Drive a number of times over the years and always find it clean, comfortable, and a great value. With the highway construction, it is a little difficult to cross the highway into town, but the friendly staff will tell you an alternate route which makes it much faster and easier. My room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. I requested an upper floor room away from the elevator and facing away from the highway and it was very quiet. Texas Roadhouse restaurant is next door and there are a number of fast food places across the highway. Recommended for travelers on a budget.

Love these Best Western Hotels. I have never had a problem with these hotels. That's why I decided to go with them. They have high quality rooms and amenities. Their staff is happy and that's a big indicator of the rooms will be clean and the service will be pleasant.

Great staff as always, greeting us by name, making adjustments if needed. Check in was done online, front desk crew is very helpful with directions and places to eat. We followed Mike P. to this hotel when he changed location so he is part of the reason we continue coming. But his staff is a great asset for Best Western. The only drawback is the ongoing road construction on I-35 through Temple.

We were on our way to the RGV to our winter home. The hotel is close to the river walk and the market. It was very easy to get onto the freeway in the morning. The breakfast was average. The room was clean and everything worked. We would consider staying here again. The price was really good.

We visited Temple, Texas to attend the military retirement ceremony for our son who is stationed at Ft. Hood. The hotel was clean, nicely furnished and reasonably priced. The breakfast was good. We would gladly stay there again if in the area.

Due to construction it was a bit tricky to get in and out of the hotel. But easy enough. Restaurant next door offers a nice discount for hotel visitors. Hotel was quiet even with the close proximity to HWY 35. Rooms were well appointed and clean.

My husband and I stayed at Best Western on Oct. 17-18, 2017. This was a last minute booking through Hotels. com due to a family emergency at Temple Hospital. We were very impressed with the employees we encountered. Monica was amazing at check-in. She was very informative and easy to talk too. An issue arose with Hotels.com when we wanted to cancel our 2nd day stay due to my father-in-law possibly being discharged early. We were well in the time frame and did not want to be charged. We were told by an unknown Hotels.com rep that BW would not let us out of the day we had not used. My husband called the front desk and spoke with Andrea who was very professional and told him to call the manager of the hotel in the morning. Unbenounced to us, we found out the next day when my husband called the front desk and spoke with Mary that the Hotels.com rep was very rude to Andrea and that there was no problem with us getting a refund for the night we would not be staying. If Andrea would had mentioned that to us at the time we would had addressed that rep and gotten his name to complain. The rep made it seem as if BW was the issue . Andrea was very professional on how she handled this by directing us to her manager. Thank you ladies for a job well done! Thank you ladies

We stayed 3 nights while visiting our son and this place was very clean and the room had plenty of space. Desk clerks very friendly and always gave you a smile. Small breakfast, good coffee and pastries. I did not care for their scrambled eggs or sausage. The most annoying thing is the extra loud doorbell like sound each time you got on or off the elevator. After 3 days, I was sick and tired of it. I suppose it gives the desk clerks an idea of someone getting on or off but that sound was one of the most annoying things I've heard in years, good grief!!

Andrea was a big help. We made a reservation for a different day. Thank goodness they had a room she put in a same kinda of room. She was very friendly and helpful. There is a Texas Roadhouse right next door that you can walk over, if you show them your key you get a 10 percent discount. The room was nice. The only complaint I have is that the coffee maker is in the bathroom. The room also had a mini fridge which is great if your medication needs to be cold.

Our stay started out awesome due to how incredible Andrea, the front desk employee who checked us in. She is wonderful and deserves to be recognized. She provided directions to get around the crazy construction going on in Temple, ensured we were happy with our room and treated us like we were the only ones in the hotel. I reserved a room in advance to attend a family birthday celebration in the region. It took place during the onslaught of Hurricane Harvey. I arrived several hours prior to Check-in and the desk clerk seemed inconvenienced when I tried to check in early. After napping in my car for a while, I returned to the first floor lobby and as I proceeded to go to a public restroom, the clerk commented "Hello" and I turned back to her and inquired, "You have Public Restrooms, correct?" She responded, "I guess so" in a begrudged manner. The rain was incessant during my stay. The room was nice but the a/c unit re-set itself to 78 from 68 degrees while I was out so I had to reset it once I returned. There was a couple items in the bathroom that could use some repairs. The toilet ran all through the night and the exhaust fan was hanging by the wires, not mounted to the ceiling.

The front staff was so cooperative and kind during our check in. The room was immaculate and all very comfortable and quiet. The best was the free breakfast in the morning....wow...sausage, scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits...along with the usual fare. I would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in the Temple area.....we will definitely use it again on our next visit! The only negative remark is that I-35 is under heavy construction and it makes it a little harder to navigate, but don't let that stop you from staying there!

We loved the price for the inn, but we were amazed at all of the construction in Temple! You must follow a maze to get to the inn, but it has a wonderful restaurant next door. It is nicely decorated and quiet despite all of the construction next door. It is definitely a good value for your money!

Nice hotel next to Texas roadhouse, enjoyed pool and my room was nice and clean no muggy carpet smell. Receptionist nice and helpful. No complaints about our stay. Definitely choosing best western again!

The GM tells me that there is nothing I can do about this. Very unprofessional. I was charged an outstanding amount of $101.00 for only 5 hours. Ridiculous, especially when I reserved BW for 2 whole nights and was going to pay for an upgrade but was forced out.

the check in experience was horrible. my card was chArgued without my permission. I would appreciate to be informed before charging my card. when I asked the clerk then I was told there is an additional charge for deposite. I would have given cash for deposite not charge my card without permission and why was the charge the amount of the room?

Overall, a great stay at this location! Road construction made it more difficult than usual to get to this location, but staff was very friendly and the room was roomy and clean. Would recommend for the budget conscious.

We stopped at this Best Western on our way home to Arkansas. Yes, lots of road construction and hard to get to but I am a rewards member and thought we would stay there. Room was nice and clean. I asked for 2nd floor room. But within 20 minutes of checking in the air conditioner stopped and did not come back on. Now it was 100 degrees outside so, once the air cut off it immediately became hot. I called Mary at the front desk who said she would be there soon, 20 minutes later, she arrived. At that time the unit was back on. I can say it worked great when it was on. She explained how a thermostat worked, nothing new for me! So a very sleepless and hot night, I timed the unit 15 minutes on and 45 off!! When it was off you could hear the noise from freeway and of course it was HOT! When it was on it blocked out the noise and was cool....but that only lasted 15 moniutes. When I told Mary the next morning she laughed!! Although when I checked out she discounted $10 off my bill, which she said was all she could do. It was a very long and hot night.....

This is the second year in a row we have stayed at Best Western Temple prior to a business meeting. Still dealing with construction. GPS will take you wrong so call ahead as construction is always changing highway exit/entrance. I will always stay here when I need to go to Temple. Convenient walk next door to Texas Roadhouse.

Very Clean rooms , The Staff very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, pillows a little to firm for me but was better than some places I have stayed. It was in a great location for where I was meeting up with friends. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The breakfast was awesome and the coffee was perfect.. The internet was really good. I had booked for the wrong night and was in a frantic about it and Mary the front desk lady was so helpful and fixed my mistake and booked me right in to a room and calmed me down. I really like this place and would definitely stay there again. Also the weather was perfect for this time of year. Overall I would recommend staying at the Best Western Temple Inn and Suites. I am a truck drive and temple is my stop every week. I always like this hotel. Rooms are nice and staff is very caring and helpful. Since i check out real early i don't get breakfast, However, they usually have fruits and cold items for me.

The staff was nice road construction is a mess but a must easy to find Great breakfast and hottest coffee I have had in a long time food was hot also Where they serve the food is to small but every was great to me

This hotel is just fine for a night's stay. It is clean and comfortable. The suites are plenty big for a large family and the staff is friendly. Texas Roadhouse next door and you get 10% off with room key. It was a nice little added bonus.

Been staying here since 2010 every month for business. Never have had any problems. Most staff are long term employees and I know them well after the years. Feels like home away from home. They go out of their way to take care of me.

We had three rooms. They were ready when we showed up. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable. We will stay here again. The rooms were quiet and the air conditioner worked well. We had no problems.

Very clean facility. The room was very nice and spacious. The staff were all very polite and helpful. This hotel was an exceptional value and I would definite stay there again. The one issue was trying to figure out the TV channels and the remote needed a new battery

First, let me start out by saying this. The staff here is outstanding! The front desk was operated by Andria and her trainee Rebecca. I was having problems with my companies Com Data Checks and they worked with the company until I was able to get into my room. During this time, the phone didn't stop ringing and as usual, an obnoxious customer was at the desk. All the staff here are customer service driven and it shows. When traveling to, around or just passing through Temple TX, make sure you stay here.

The first room we were given smelled terrible, like smoke. We were told no one had been in there for three days. They did move us and I was much better. The breakfast was good and the value of the hotel was great.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for a night and loved it. Comfy beds, puffy pillows, clean towels and an over all clean room. We loved the exercise room.it made the stay even better. The breakfast was simply great. The highway is under construction and there is some difficulty getting to the hotel. Nonetheless, the hotel cleanliness, staff professionalism, good quality service, and a breakfast bar was worth getting up to enjoy and maked the inconvenience due to road construction forgivable. That was the only problem we had. The customer care representative at the front desk were nice as well. Great stay, highly recommend!

We had a King suite room. It was very spacious with a king bed, sofa, small refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom had plenty of room as well. The shower has plenty of hot water and the best water pressure I have found in a hotel in a very long time. The complimentary wifi worked well, even in a room at the far end of the hall on the top floor. Everything was very clean and well maintained. There is a lot of road construction in the area and the hotel is currently difficult to get to but it is possible and worth the trouble. It is located on the service road next to Interstate 35 but we never heard road noise since we were on the far end of the building. There is an outdoor pool but I can't comment on it as we didn't use it. The breakfast is quite sufficient but is located in an area off the lobby that is entirely too small. The hotel was not even close to being full but all the tables in the breakfast area were kept full. The only restaurant near by is right next door. It is a Texas Roadhouse, which has wonderful food and very good service. We had a very good rate. I had a Best Western Travel Card and gave that to the reception desk when I checked in. However I am glad I checked my statement upon check out as they had not credited it to my account and was charging the entire amount on my credit card. The desk clerk took care of the problem. I would not hesitate to use the hotel again when we are in the area. Once the construction is done, it will be even better.

I stayed at this location the nights of March 18 and 19, and was in room 101, at the end of the hall by the stairs and an exit door....but there was no noise. I arrived at the hotel just in time to witness a very rude group of baseball team chaperones (youth baseball) yelling at the two ladies at the desk, Monica and Andrea. Never once did either lady lose her composure or raise their voice. The chaperones and their group finally left and you could see the staff breathe a sigh of relief. Chaperones---what kind of example were you giving the children you were in charge of?! Anyway, back to my stay at the hotel: The manager Mike stopped and spoke whenever he saw me in the lobby, and every staff member was friendly and professional. Andrea, Monica, Doug and the young man on the evening shift on Saturday whose name I did not get, and the lady in charge of breakfast...Thank you all for every thing you do to make travelers' stays nice. I was in a suite with 2 queen beds and a hide-a-bed sofa. There is also a microwave, mini-fridge and little kichen-type sink. This is in addition to the vanity sink. I had a large flat screen tv with a lot of choices of channels. Although I did not use them, there is an iron and ironing board. Bed is comfortable with several pillows. The hotel is next door to Texas Roadhouse restaurant, and the restaurant gives Best Western guests who show their room key a 10% discount. Even with the road construction and sometimes challenging traffic issues, I will definetly stay at this location again.

We booked this hotel at the last minute during our spring break road trip and were extremely pleased with this hotel. The rooms are new, clean, and comfortable staff was very friendly and the breakfast attendant ensured all items were stocked and refilled. The hotel is next to a Texas Roadhouse and you will receive a 10% discount off your meal if you tell them you are staying next door. There is construction in the area, but nothing that kept us awake at might. This was a great value and I'd recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Temple area.

This is located on Interstate 35 and is convenient to any place in Temple. The hotel is nice and the rooms are quite and large. The rates are good. The breakfast is very good and offers more than Continental Breakfast. They keep it well stock so you always can choose what you want. The location and price make this a good place to stay.

The room was clean, modern, and well-kept. It was a last minute trip, and we did not have reservations. I had never stayed at a BW and was nervous, but it was great. We will stay again if ever in the area again.

We just stayed one night in Temple on our way to Magnolia Market in Waco. It was clean, had a hot, free breakfast with waffles and wi fi. So, all the basics. Looks like it recently had a face lift with vibrant colors and large flat screen too. Only problem was, they still had wall A/C units and they were louder than usual.

There are many choices to stay in Temple, TX but there is none better then this Best Western. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is always hot, good and plentiful. our air conditioner died and we spent 7 nights at this hotel. the staff was kind and concerned about our problem. Manager gave us the best rate he could under the circumstances. The only thing I didn't like was the noisy fan in the bathroom. good job to everyone. Oh, the breakfast area and food were well prepared.

The hotel is off the freeway. It is imaculate. So clean and super nice staff. The beds are incredible. Breakfast was a hot one and it had cereal, yogurt, waffle, eggs, sausage, coffee and juice. Would stay again.

I requested a non-smoking room. Though it was a non-smoking room, it smelled like a smoker's room anyway. It was also very noisy and difficult to sleep through the night without hearing outdoor traffic and neighbors.

We stopped in late, alot of the hotels in Temple were sold out, This Best Western was clean, comfy, the air conditioner blew cold, the curtains kept that morning sun out. Bathroom goodies included Shampoo, Conditioner, Facial Towelette, shower cap, and lotion. The bed was a little firm, however still achieved good sleep, the front desk man was welcoming, and very nice. The morning there was coffee, and simple food for continental breakfast.

I make frequent trips to Temple, and I always stay at this Best Western. The employees are wonderful, and Mike, the manager, wants to make sure that people are happy with his hotel. He responds quickly to concerns. The construction on I-35 makes it look like the hotel is hard to get to, but it's not. The breakfast is good, and the upgrades to the WiFi have made it stable.

I would highly recommend this motel. The air conditioning was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. This is by far one of the cleanest, friendliest, and quiet places we have ever stayed. The whole building including our room and the outdoor swimming pool were absolutely pristine!! There is an elevator to upper floors. They offer free breakfast. We overslept the second morning & missed breakfast but the very friendly & gracious front desk person offered us bananas! There is a small gift shop where you can purchase snacks, drinks & health & hygiene products.

This hotel was close to the freeway so was in a convenient location. It was also next door to the Texas Roadhouse restaurant so we didn't have to get out in traffic and could just walk to the restaurant. The breakfast in the hotel was good and is similar to most Best Western hotel breakfasts. The staff were not very friendly, but they may have just been stressed out from a busy graduation weekend in town. The hotel was pretty quiet except you could hear train horns from time to time. The beds were ok, but they were a bit firmer than I would have preferred.

We were to attend a church meeting in Waco, but all the close hotels were booked due to graduation at Baylor. Temple is only 30 miles away and on the interstate, so the choice was easy. Best Western had rooms at great prices. As usual the staff was super friendly and very efficient at check in. We even got a discount voucher for Texas Roadhouse, which was next door.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. It was a good value for the money we paid. Easy access to the Interstate highway. While the staff wasn't overly friendly, they weren't rude and were very accommodating.

We stayed here in October and I thought one of the staff members was impolite. This time she was fine and we had a good stay. The rooms are big, comfortable, and clean, with microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, a nice breakfast, and free wifi. The pillows are somewhat hard for my taste but my husband really likes them. This is a nice hotel and a good value.

This hotel was amazing! Everyone from checkout to breakfast to maid staff was very friendly and helpful. The inside and outside of the hotel is beautifully maintained, as well as beautiful spacious rooms. I really enjoyed my stay. There is a full hot breakfast, with many different options available.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. It is a good value for the money, and I would definitely stay here again. The present road construction on I-35 is the only drawback. The staff was courteous, and the breakfast was more than adequate. The location is near several restaurants and shopping centers.

Over all a great hotel. The staff was caring and helpful, there was easy access to the highway even with all the construction and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was priced much more affordable that Belton, where our tournament was being held.

Getting to the hotel was difficult beause of heavy construction on the highway 35. Staff was pleasant and helpful . Because of being handicapped it was difficult opening entranceway door one was automatic but the other was manual which caused a problem trying to push luggage through.

The hotel was nice and a good value. I like hotels that give you lots of pillows and this one does. Everything was fine with our stay. We stayed in January 2016 and there is a lot of frontage road construction in the area. It wasn't loud when we were there (during the week) but at some point it may become a problem. We would stay there again. They have a nice breakfast bar in the morning.

My husband is a Viet Nam veteran with vascular issues. The VA sent him to the Temple hospital for his problems. We have stayed at this Best Western a number of times. The staff has been caring and helpful making my time so much easier. The rooms are always top notch. Whether you are stay for business of pleasure I wouldn't stay any where else.

While attending my sisters funeral the staff was kind and attentive. The hotel was very perceptive to my situation and I felt very safe in my surroundings. Room was very nice and the staff was helpful and courteous.

Visited last week for 5 days. From the moment we walked in, the smell of CLEAN and FRESH made us smile. Everything clean and in it's place. Great, clean, large, comfortable room and bathroom. Found a light bulb out on one of the lamps. Dialed 0 and within 3 minutes he was up and replacing it. DONE. The WHOLE staff, from the front desk to the Chambermaid (housekeeping) were absolutely outstanding. Friendly, professional, greeting us every time, and helpful. Mike called me by name from day one and every time thereafter "Good morning Mr. R". Very helpful with directions on where was the closest store, exit to take to get to a place quicker, etc.. The young lady taking care of the morning breakfast area was a busy bee. She was non-stop making sure everything was just right. Coffee and all the supplies, food, tables... reminded me my military service and when we were getting ready for inspections! Never saw her sit still, always doing something to keep it all ship shape! The construction work on I-35 was no issue to us. I would've walked across the highway to get back to the hotel. We were very pleased. Comfortable in every way. Free Wifi was a plus! Did I mention immaculate, CLEAN rooms? Bravo! Great job! Will book there next time I go to the area! My new Home away from home!

We stayed at this Best Western (two adults, three small children) while visiting family in Temple. We were given a room with two queen beds. The staff was very nice and gave us a good room right by an entrance, so it was easy to come and go, and also far enough from other guests so we didn't have to worry about our kids' noise bothering them. The beds were quite comfortable and we got decent sleep there. Breakfast was good, as they provided eggs and breakfast meats along with fresh waffles. As with most hotels, the tea selection was lousy (I am a bit of a tea snob), but from what my wife said, the coffee was good. The one issue with this location is that there is major construction on I-35 that makes it very difficult to get into the hotel (it's not the hotel's fault, so no points off for that). The only restaurant within walking distance is a Texas Roadhouse, which is only open in the afternoon, so you'll have to find your lunch elsewhere.

Thank you for the wonderful experience! My wife and were stuck in traffic and pulled over to this hotel the day after on a very busy Sunday. The check in was easy and the Front desk agent was great. My wife had gotten car sick and he offered us water, snacks, etc to help her feel better. Thank you.

We stayed here on our way to Galveston. Tropical Depression Patricia was raging so we were exhausted from the drive. What a beautiful place to take shelter! Our suite was one large room with a super comfy bed (and I'm very picky about the bed), a nice couch for relaxing and a great bathroom. Room was immaculately clean. Although the hotel is near a busy freeway, we heard NO traffic noise.

I always enjoy staying at this property. Friendly staff. There has been road construction in the area over the last couple of years that I've stayed here. Of course this is not anything the hotel has control over, but I must say that it is worth taking the time to find your way in.

Convenient hotel by the freeway. We were passing thru on our way from Winnipeg to Texas. Breakfast at the hotel was hot and had a usual Best Western selection. There is a restaurant (Texas Roadhouse) within 100 yards. This was convenient for travellers that were passing thru and meant that it was not necessary to drive somewhere to get food. We would stay here again.

End of the week long trip we were tired and just wanted a nice place to rest for the night. Construction made it a pain to get into the parking lot, (when have you been on I35 without construction!) but it was quite, large rooms, and the beds were great!!!

The staff was very good, hotel clean and kept up well. The breakfast was good. Rooms were nice and housekeeping did a nice job. Stayed one night, would probably stay here again. The bed was quite comfortable, pillows nice (maybe a little too firm).

The staff treats you like family - always going above and beyond to be sure your stay is the best that it can be. Hotel is constantly being improved. Worth dealing with all the construction to stay at this hotel.

Except for the construction our front on the frontage road, there's really nothing to complain about when it comes to the accommodations at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The breakfast is hot and has a variety of breads, fruits, cereals and hot items as well. The coffee dispenser is one of those new fangled gadget type ideas that is more of a hassle than just making an old fashioned cup of coffee but the friendly staff and the quality of the hotel makes up for that. Fitness room, Swimming pool, and a good channel selection on the TV's in the rooms also adds a big plus. Refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms as well.

There needs to be more attention to cleanliness especially in bathrooms. I don't like finding hair on the bathroom floor or in the bathtub. I even found a used wash cloth hanging over shower curtain rod on one of my stays. There should be reward points no matter what the rate is. I was told I was not eligible for points because our corporate rate is too low. Not a good selling point for their rewards system.

Very nice front desk staff--evening and morning. Although we did not eat there, the breakfast looked good. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in a long time. Best Western is always clean, polite, efficient. That's why it's always our first choice.

We had a great room at this hotel---large, clean, and attractive with every amenity, including a refrigerator and microwave. There are a couple of reasons I can't rate it higher, however. The pillows were terrible for me. I spent a sleepless night because my neck was so uncomfortable. This may not be the case for you, however. My husband had no problem and I notice that other TA reviewers actually complimented the pillows. The other problem was the staff member who checked us in. She acted as if we were bothering her when we arrived. We felt really unwelcome. Then a few minutes later, she changed her demeanor, as if she suddenly remembered that she was in the hospitality business. She had a nice smile! But after initially treating us with contempt, it was hard to believe her new friendliness was sincere.

We come to this area at least twice a year with a large group for a one or two night stay. We always choose the Best Western in Temple. The price, service, quality, and rooms are excellent. We reccommend it to everyone.

Due to road construction this hotel probably receives very little walk-in reservations. That's a shame because it was a bargain for the price per night. Was in good condition and staff was friendly and courteous. Seemed like a fairly new hotel. I recommend it.

Our stay a this hotel was pleasant. Except, we chose this hotel largely because it had a seemingly nice hotel pool and pool area. We even picked a hotel where we could stop early on our trip so we could swim. We checked in (staff was nice but nothing special), got to our room (nice) and then went to the pool - mistake! The pool was basically unusable. The water was so murky, you couldn't see the bottom of the pool. If you are ever at any chlorine pool that you can't see the bottom of it, don't go in!! It is dangerous on many levels - bacteria (lots of it) and danger to not see someone on the bottom. When we called, we were told (very indignantly) they would keep the status of the pool "available" even though there was noone to tend to the issue. Then, we decided to just sit out for a bit. But, there were cigarette butts everywhere. Apparently, this is the unofficial smoking area and that part of it is not maintained - many of these were old cigarette butts. Bad experience. So, we spent the whole afternoon/evening in the room. Bummer! The next morning we had sausage and biscuits. And, I do want to say that their biscuits were much better than most hotel biscuits - they were actually soft, fluffy and good. This is a hotel that I would have considered staying at in the winter except for the harshness of the staff when we called. For that reason, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Even though it was difficult to get to the hotel due to construction, it was well worth it. Any hotel at which you stay along this stretch of I35 is going to be difficult to get to due to construction in Temple which is supposed to last for another 2 years. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when we return to the area.
