Excellent overall service, very attentive staff. Food is superb. Rooms are and service is simply great. Airport pickup is 90% ok. Location is good. Coffee houses, churches, and shops are in close distance. Was a pleasure to have stayed and I highly recommend.

Great place. Had awesome service from Nathaniel. Managed to do my laundry, order room service with friendly staff that accommodated the organisation. The location. Is awesome and so are their gift shops

The hotel is located at a convenient location with nice and kind personnel who are always there whenever you ask for their services. Some of them even go the extra mile. The manager Samrawit greets us with a nice smile always making sure about our comfort during our stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast every day. All in all we are happy and recommend this this excellent hotel if one wants to have the same experience during his stay in Addis Abeba.

The staff were most welcoming especially Natnael, Kalkidan and Ruth. The hotel is clean, great service and very close to the airport with a great shuttle service. The staff are extremely help-full and nothing too much for them Will always use this when in transit in Addis

Can't describe in words how amazing the hospitality is. The hotel is located in a good area with amazing friendly staffs that are always ready to help you with whatever they can starting from the manager, front office staffs to the cleaners to the restaurant staffs and drivers. Their Indian cuisine is a 10/10. They also provide complimentary shuttle to the airport and back. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

I have been staying in Best Western Pearl Addis for more than one month and I really enjoyed the stay. The location was pretty good and close to the airport, rooms were nice and spacious, the bed was comfortable. But the best part was really people who work there. I was amazed by their willingness to help in any question I had regarding my stay, or travel around the city. Concierge Natnael helped me in every possible way, especially with my phone. Managers Samrawit and Tigst was extremely nice and professional and helped me with my early check-in/late checkout and fixed all the small issues with my room in just few seconds. Our favorite waitress Aklesia knew exactly what we wanted for the dinner and served it perfectly. I truly recommend this hotel for stay, especially if you are in a business trip.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks and it was great! The hotel is located very close to the airport. Hotel rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was extensive and very good. But mostly, amazing staff. All the employees were so nice, helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and are definitely coming back on our next trip to Addis Abeba.

Had a very pleasant stay at Best Western Plus Pearl Addis. Breakfast was really good, it was feesh and had a good variety to choose from. Amenities, Wifi all were good and not to mention extremely friendly staff. Decent location close to airport.

We were picked by the Hotel Shuttle and the check in proecess was quick. The rooms size was ok for a double bed however the room abd washrooms were clean. The in room service was prompt. The restaurant is neat and clean and has a bar. the food was tasty and service was great. Check Out was equally quick and friendly too. The location is on the main road with number of eating joints nearby in case you do not wish to eat at hotel. Please be careful if you are walking on road as you may have pick pockets around. Overall the hotel is recommended.

Service is very good and staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very clean and well equipped Room service food was good and fast. Hotel staff helped even to get rides around the city like ordering me rides. Hotel is at city center not crowded but still with a a-lot around you to explore.

I have stayed in this hotel for over two weeks on my business work trip with my colleagues. I would like to specifically thank the hotel management for their support. They provided us with free every day shuttle ride to our work site near the airport. Special thanks to the Porter Natnael Benyam, he is a hard working person who always willing to help with any problem. Thanks to front desk manager Samrawit. Thanks to the restaurant staff: waitress Aklesia, bartender Eshetu and the casher Tsega for their excellent work and professionalism, and to many other staff like cleaning, front desk, porters and security etc. Nice souvenir shop. Travel agency with fair prices and various site seeing options for any requirements. Cosy rooms with ac, tv and wi fi. Free shuttle to the airport upon request. Good breakfast with traditional coffee ceremony. Friendly and professional stuff. Overall I'v enjoyed my stay. Thank you.

From the moment I stepped into the Best Western Plus, Pearl Addis, Hotel at Addis Ababa I was greeted with a warm friendly smile from Mubarek and Challa was also on hand to help out. The whole staff have been incredibly friendly and I would absolutely come here again. From the room service, (thank you Tamima) wifi, bar, restaurant, gym, Lobby, organising the shuttle to the airport and the amazing breakfast!! The staff have been very accommodating and very generous. I've been here on business and as a creative film maker I've had the space to work, have the headspace to think and be in a relaxed and comfortable environment. I've been in Ethiopia for a two weeks travelling around and in total I would be here for a month and it's been nonstop filming and coming here I've had the time to stop, catch up on some work, emails, friends and that headspace to think creatively. So thanks to everyone at the Hotel you have been amazing!

unfortunately, i made the mistake of initially booking another hotel before I even arrived in Ethiopia, luckily for me Best Western Plus was very close , so after a horrific night at the previous hotel. I booked into Best Western Plus. Best decision ever, apart from being very clean and tidy, the entire staff and management always go over, above and beyond. This is a very well run hotel, you will never go past a member of staff who didn't greet you and ask you what they could do to improve your stay, the food is amazing and made fresh to order. I knew i was onto something when other guest I spoke to also sung their praises, you know it's a hit when Ethiopians coming home to visit choose best Western plus.

I had the best experience ever during my stay at this hotel. The restaurant has the best breakfast buffet in town . The chef's are the best in everything they do . One of the waitress by the name Aklesia I belive was very helpful and highly professional. When I invited my family including my mother and sisters for lunch at the restaurant, she made sure all of us taken care of at the highest level.

I stayed at this location during my thirty days vacation between mid september and mid october this year . moreover , I never felt so loved and respected like this in any other hotel I had been over the years . the room are so clean I would like to thank their room cleaning crew . furthermore , the front desk and bar crews and supervisors on both shifts are courteous and very professional . This hotel is near Bole international airport and free shuttle always ready for the request. The rooms on the road side are noisy despite the city view. The breakfast is just average buffet style. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. The bad point is the hotel neighbourhood is a bit seedy. Don't go outside after dark. We were mugged after we had dinner at the folk show restaurant nearby. My wife was stolen her smartphone only 30 meters out side of the hotel.

Apart from the noise from cars early in the morning of my first night which prompted me to request for room change, everything else was good. I stayed for 4 days and we had 2 days of conference. The conference rooms were great, the rooms I stayed were clean, the staff from entrance, to reception, restaurant, Ethiopian Coffee server to housekeeping were amazing, professional and very friendly. I would stay there again anytime. Since I was there during the Ethiopian New Year, there was great dinner and happy celebration. Thank you all BW Pearl staff.

I visited a friend in Addis in August and stayed at The Best Western PLUS Pearl Cameroon Street . My hotel room was fantastic and the staff could not have been more helpful . I lost the card with everyones name on it and I am very sorry for this. I do remember Sammawit ( or spelled Samrawit). She was so helpful to me, I only hope I spelled her name correctly. She was completely wonderful , as was each and every single member of staff. I will stay here again. Thank you to all for all your help with taxi's , cash point, and with luggage storage.

Located few kms from the international airport and surrounded by all types of business and entertainment centers, it is the best hotel within budget. It used to have a lot of traffic in the old days due to transiting passengers but now the entire services are for guests staying at the hotel. Excellent breakfast with continental and Ethiopian food.

This hotel is located very close to the Bole airport. Check in and check out were smooth and efficient, and the rates are a very good value. The room was clean and very nice, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side, and some the water from the shower head leaked from the top, but no big deal. The breakfast was excellent, with a broad selection and extremely nice staff. In fact, the entire hotel staff was super friendly and helpful, always smiling. They were the best part of a very good two-day stay. We would stay again. Recommended.

My wife and I stayed at Best Western Plus Pear Addis for one night. They were able to get us a room late at night even though we didn't have a reservation in advance. They sent us a shuttle to the airport quickly which was appreciated very much. The bed were very comfortable. The location is very close to the airport which is very convenient. The front desk employees as well as concierge service was top notch. Very friendly and helpful staff. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice hotel in the Bole area.

I have stayed in this hotel for 17 nights with my younger brother. It was an amazing stay. We were upgraded to their special suite room. The room was so clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast has so many varieties ….. we enjoyed their local dishes….. lots to choose from anyway. I couldn't thank enough all the people who works there for their special services. They are wonderful and helpful staffs in every regards. My special appreciation goes to Lidia (Rahel) and Lidet who made our stay so beautiful. We stayed here overnight while in transit, and the Hotel staff were super helpful. The car came to the airport to get us within 5 mins, check in was quick and easy, and the room was brilliant. So comfortable, good bathroom and shower, the bed was very good. In the morning, breakfast was ready early for us and few other travellers. And it was extensive and really nice - fresh fruit, cereals, coffee, juice, and an array of hot trays with rice and potatoes and vegetables. We were so well looked after. Then the car was ready for the 5 mins journey back to the airport.

Excellent hotel with excellent location, located at 2 minutes' drive to Bole International airport, extremely clean & comfortable. This was my 3rd time staying and have been impressed each time with the hotel quality and staff professionalism. This is a true example of what a hotel should be. The staff( Lidiya, Tensae, Kalkidan, Mulearek and other employees) have showed true welcome and very attentive to the needs of myself and my whole family. They even offered to cook special food for my son when he was not feeling good. I am looking forward to staying with them in the near future and I hope the owner keeps up the maintenance to keep the quality of the hotel.

Stayed from July 21 to July 24 2022 in this gem of a hotel in Addis. It was my first time in the city and I just happened to book it without any info about it and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip. Firs of al its location in Bole is very good as it is not far from the airport and also in a good strip full of restaurants and some attractions. The staff are all very friendly always striving to make sure that you are always taken care of. The breakfast is amazing with many choices and so is the room service. I remember ordering food at 0200am and it came perfect and very delicious hats off to the chefs. The room was very clean and everything met my expectations and exceeded. I would particularly highlight Mr. Mubarak and Ms. Lidiya for their excellent top notch care that they gave me. They really made me feel at home away from home. Also Mr. Kasahun, the driver was very exceptional as well on the very first day of my arrival. I would really recommend this hotel as it is one of the best in Addis in its price point I will surely go back next time while in Addis.

This is my 3rd visit in under a year and it gets better every time I visit. Each and every staff go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and provided for. I would give the house keeping, room service, restaurant, drivers, reception etc. all a 100/100 Mubarek, Samson, Meron, Lydia, Tensai, Solomon, Mikael, Kasaun, Mesfin and Gech are one of many amazing and committed people at this hotel. Wish I could mention them all but I'm unfortunately bad with names but trust me they are all good! Hope you enjoy your stay!!

Look, the rooms and location are great. But God forbid you misplace an item in your room. It will be gone! I understand if you misplace an item it's your responsibilty. but atleast have a system in place to question those who do the housekeeping. A hotel of this caliber should have a procedure in place to resolve these kind of conflicts. For the price there is definitely better options.

The mother of a friend of mine needed medical treatment in Addis, so I secured funds to fly the two of them and a helper to Addis. Since the mother is in a wheelchair and unable to walk, I scouted out the BW Pearl the day prior to their arrival. I inquired about the airport shuttle, walked through the route the mother would take to her to her room, looked at the accessible room, and met some of the staff. Everything was to my satisfaction, so I booked two standard rooms. The day of my friend's arrival, things went as planned. I was very happy with the hotel staff's treatment of my friend's mother. I had a couple of meals at the hotel (nice breakfast spread, by the way) and got good feedback from my friends about the room. My personal experience was very positive, as was my guests. I decided to add an additional 5 nights because of the positive experience. Shout out to Mesfin for going above and beyond.

Excellent. One can start to feel the environment as gets into the premises, just a few steps up to the reception area. Vibrant and welcoming by all counts. Hotel provides the services, it committed to 100%, be it Care, cleanliness, Wi-Fi and breakfast. Being in the category of a 3-star hotel, it exceeded my expectation. It was my first experience with BW hotel, and I can declare to choose the same hotel when I visit Addis Ababa next.

Brilliant hotel with all the facilities that you expect. Proximity of the airport is very good and as the shuttle that is available at all hours. Security is very good too. I would totally recommend BWP Pearl t any first time traveler to Ethiopia. The staff are very resourceful. They helped me find a reliable driver while I was there. They made soups for my father who was in hospital. They helped me figure out luggage and restaurants. And best of all, I would come back every evening to a warm friendly smile. Truly home away from home!

Food is good (salades and fruits are prepared/washed with good water, date March 2022) and severall healthy choices (even some vegetarian). Friendly employees, speaking good English. Clean room, firm cloths hangers, safe available, free water bottels and water boiler available. Flexible service for in case your plans change (and availability of course). Good hotel for westerners to stay safe and healthy. Covid files where there, but among your own group you could do what you prefer when not disturbing otters.

Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. I had the pleasure of staying at BW Plus Pearl Addis in January 2022 People are so kind and friendly from the entrance to the housekeeping. I enjoyed Ethiopian traditional coffee almost every day while I was in the hotel. I had a chance to speak with the owner. He was the kindest and most down-to-earth person that I ever met. I wish them all the best of all.

Very nice rooms, great food, nice meeting halls, great customer care. Gym space is too small. A health club with Sauna and steam bath would be a great addition. Overall, a nice place with easy proximity and access to the airport.

I have stayed at many hotels around the world and the service here was exceptional. After I checked out, the manager called me on. I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Pearl in Addis , the staff were exceptional and very helpful as well as the food being delightful especially the Omlettes for breakfast in the morning! Just the proper place for business stays. Excellent location, just next to the air port, so you avoid Addis traffic Jams. On the main street, so it is convenient to reach any part of Addis. Has parking on backside of hotel so your friends can easily reach you.

I was very happy to stay at this hotel. The hotel is near the airport, just 10 minutes' drive away. There is a free shuttle. The rooms and the whole hotel are very clean. I have been to Addis Ababa three times but with other hotels. My experience with Best Western Plus Pearl Hotel has been nothing but the best. The location is perfect, as you are close to the airport and the center (Edna Mall). The hotel rooms are beautiful, clean and nice size. The food is tasty and the breakfast staff great. The managers Josef and Metsun were very accommodating. I was especially pleased with Meron and her amazing customer service. I can name them all, as they were all very professional and made my staff lovely. I will be coming back in December and would not think of going anywhere else. I visited Addis for a month and during my time i stayed at the BWPP Addis. I had a lovely stay at this hotel and enjoyed the best and professional service given by the hotel staff from the shuttle service, restaurant, room service, house keeping and the receptionists. They where there to assist in way possible at anytime. I would definitely go back when i travel back to Ethiopia. The hotel is located a kilometer away from the airport and close to many shops should you need to hop out for a walk and grab yourself a few things for yourself.

Best Western Plus Pearl Addis is located conveniently near the airport. I was greeted from the airport with a complementary hotel shuttle. When arriving at the hotel it was clear to witness that the hotel had an amazing ambiance, and professional staff that greets their guests with a smile. More surprisingly, I witnessed that the hotel was super clean and the rooms were spacious with comfortable mattress and fast in-room WIFI internet access. The bathroom had all the amenities, and the best hot and cold shower one could find anywhere in Addis. The hotel has a fine-dining restaurant located on the first floor of the hotel. The restaurant prepared delicious meals with varieties from Mediterranean to Italian dishes as well as comfort meals. To my delight, I enjoyed the cozy bar/cafe on the ground floor with the best cup of macchiato I have tried anywhere in Ethiopia! Most importantly, the hotel is located in one of the safest areas of Addis Ababa - upscale neighborhood of Bole. There are shopping malls, banks, cinemas, restaurants, and entertainment venues all within walking distance. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Plus Pearl Addis and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to travel to Addis.

I went to this hotel for a quiet room with good wifi for my interview. The wifi was VERY STRONG! The staff was bound helpful in arranging that. They made sure the wifi remains good, even provided me a personal number of the IT support. Also, they gave me a dongle to use in case the power goes off. The hotel room was clean, modern with all amenities. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

I stayed at Best Western for 4 nights and found it to be an amazing place. I would definitely come back at it. The bed is comfortable and the room very well decorated. The only comment I have is to make the wifi stronger and faster. There is also unpleasant smell that comes out of the rest room if you leave the door open. It may be a bad floor vent design. It had nothing to do with sanitation. Excellent place overall!

I stayed here in July 2021 and these are the pros and cons based on my experience. Pros: The hotel is located in a very nice area, walking distance to many great restaurants, ATMs, shops also it's close to the airport. The hotel is super clean and beautiful. The staff are a group of fantastic people who were very helpful. They even helped me to get the results of my Covid test from the lab near the airport and printed it for me. They have complimentary shuttle to the airport. The breakfast which was included was fantastic. Overall I highly recommend this hotel. Cons: I stayed here two nights and there was absolutely nothing negative about this hotel it was all positive and fantastic experience.

Amazing staff, very clean and hygienic place. Outstanding service and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place for solo travellers,family, couple, Students. Good food, at reasonable price. Location is very remote to the airport so that's the best part.

The hotel was really good. It's situated 5 minutes from the airport. Staff is very courteous, breakfast buffet was very good, A lot of options like sausages, eggs, orange juice, waffles, tartes, cereals. The hotel room was good with a balcony overlooking the city. The city was spectacular (See pics) Our whole trip was coordinated with Mr Mati Megersa from reception, who was amazing. He took the liberty of booking us a room during odd hours and assisted us with all the procedures. Cannot thank Mati Megersa enough, We had a short 1 day stay in Ethiopia, but will definitely come back to this hotel to see Ethiopia again.

I had an extra ordinarily well stay at Best Western Plus Pearl Hotel in Addis Ababa as the location of the hotel is very close to the Airport, the staff is very efficient, cooperative and polite and the cleanliness, room size, city view and room service they are all beyond words. I definitely recommend this hotel for a family, solo, business or vacation stays as it is very safe and have good taxi facilities too.

We had a layover in Addis Ababa and got to spent a night at the Best Western Plus hotel. We were picked up at the airport by a comfortable shuttle van sent by the hotel with a friendly driver David. The hotel itself is very beautiful. We had a spacious room with a very comfortable bed and rainshower, and overall excellent service. Really nothing negative to mention. Excellent service especially from front desk staff Nati, who was very friendly and helpful with everything. Will definitely visit again when in Addis.

It was a short but relaxing transit stay. The staff were very friendly and courteous, especially Nati from the front desk. The rooms were very nice. We traveled together with our ten year old dauhter and lived in 2 rooms.

This hotel has excellent customer service, shuttle always arrives on time (the driver even has a placard in your name!), the hotel is strategically located (you can even walk to the airport if you want to!) the front desk staff are so super friendly and supportive ... Been there for transit. The hotel is 5mn from the airport. The hotel looked nice and the neighborhood was not too noisy. The service was excellent and the staff were nice. WiFi signal got weak from time to time. The food was not very various but delicious. But overall it was a nice place, I enjoyed my stay there and will be happy to come back.

The room is nice and clean, amazing staff, especially Nati at the reception, very caring and helpful with his smile. We are grateful of his hospitality as he made sure the staying was perfect for us. The hotel is very well located, closed to many facilities and airport, great location to get a glimpse of what Addis had to offer.

I had a long Layover in Addis Abbaba and included was a complimentary stay at the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised. The room finishes was modern clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and the food excellent. I'd strongly recommend giving it a try.

Great hotel option, very close to the airport, and on a nice street with lots of activity. I stayed here twice (on the front end, and back end of my trip to Ethiopia). The hotel is new and modern, with large, clean rooms, great showers, and VERY comfortable beds (to the Best Western: Whatever pillow brand you use there-- don't ever change it). Great breakfast, too! Service is warm and friendly, and there was a beautiful basket of fresh, local fruits waiting for me when I entered my room. Excellent experience, all the way around.

I was in transit there 1 day. I am very happy the way they treat me.Reception guys they were wonderful and very helpful. Specially Mr Yeabsira was very helpfull and kind. He helps me a lot. Rooms were well cleaned and well organised

Avoid, avoid, avoid.. Unless you would like to experience house arrest during quarantine. The Best Western Plus in Addis Ababa is being used by the Government as a COVID-19 quarantine hotel for people arriving in the city. The hotel is charging $55/day. They are rated as a 4 star hotel on the list of hotels provided by Ethiopian airlines. However, their services and facilities are disgusting, and their staff are rude, uncaring and unhelpful. During my seven days enforced stay they had only three menu options for the whole week: the same for lunch and dinner each day, everyday. On top of this, whenever I called room service to order food the items listed on the menu were almost always unavailable. The waiting staff knock on your door at the end of their shift and stand by the door waiting for tips. All the staff expect you to give them tips and if you don't, you don't get good treatment. At Reception, when you pay for your rooms they convert $ to the local currency using the bank's rate for the day. However, they give change in the local currency at 50% of this rate. I wish I could show pictures I took during my stay. The room I was confined to looked like it has never been cleaned. I also found a bug in the bread I was given for breakfast. Again, the staff were completely unconcerned. On another occasion an unidentifiable meat was served, the member of staff was unable to confirm whether it was pork or beef (it looked like saveloy sausage). I would not wish a stay in this hotel on anyone. It is such an embarrassment to the name!
