Best Western Plus Hotel Terraza

everything is old, rooms, bed, linen, towels, furniture. weak wi fi, breakfast is not worth. if you get the room with the street view, prepare to stay awake the entire night. my experience was not the best.

location is good Staffs are very cooperative and night staffs are excellent Breakfast is good, bar is open 24 hrs, close to city commercial center, rooms sealing is not perfect, prefer swimming pool side room

Even if its not a glamorous hotel, it is comfortable, offers great service, and overall provides a quality stay. Food was quite good, and offered a good variety of meals. I recommend it if you're on business and are looking for a good stay a couple of nights.

The hotel is being updated from independent to Best Western Plus so you will find some unfinished units and areas either dated or with work in progress. Not a major inconvenience. Many stores and restaurants in the area, location is in between the Escalon and San Benito office and restaurant districts.

Why would anyone spend much more at the Sheraton or InterContinental, when you get beautiful rooms and service at the Terraza in downtown San Salvador? Friendly and attentive staff under the skillful management of Sylvia de Santacruz answered all of our needs. And, we truly enjoyed our meals overlooking the garden and pool. One of the best breakfast buffets in the city.

Hotel is safe with security guard on door, is in a nice area in San Salvador and we have been able to walk with our family across the road to the Galerias Shopping centre which has a great stores, Nautica, Starbucks, Apple, etc. Also well known restaurant brands. Super Selectos, large supermarket chain is in the vicinity also. Pool is a little cold but nice for the hot climate. Breakfast is great and service very attentive, rooms are nice, but might be in need of a renovation soon (for money that you pay for the room), in fact whole hotel could use a face-lift, large old school, noisy air conditioner in room, shower not great, but good. We had a room with 2 double beds. Staff are helpful and friendly. Luis is a rocks, he is awesome, I belive hi knows the area very well. Room tidied well. There is a small kiosk in the foyer that sells candys and snacks, some drugs. Front desk is 24 hours as is kiosk, but dont forget run the bell for service. Restaurant open until 11, last orders 10.30. There's also a gym and business centre with computers/ printing that we haven't used so can't comment on.

Each and every time I come to this hotel I feel more and more like I'm apart of family. From excellent customer service to clean rooms and warm place to smile on my face each time. I am so happy to be a part of this team

Great breakfast buffet. Really nice restaurant by the swimming pool, quiet and clean room. The staff is really nice and welcoming, but the beds mattresses are a little bit hard. Overall a very clean hotel, I will definitely be back and I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in El Salvador. Shops and restaurants between walking distance from the hotel.

This was our second stay, and we came back because we really liked the room, and the service. This time was even better. Friendly and attentive waiters and staff at front desk. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Really nice restaurant by the pool. And, quiet, clean room. Extremely well managed. We will be back.

Good standard. Big confortable rooms. Nice swimming pool. Dining outside by the pool. Good food for dinner and breakfast. I marked it excellent in itd class. Situated close to the shopping mall, but you might need to take taxi to get downtown.

The service at this hotel is absolutely top notch. I can confidently say that I have not received better service from the staff, owners, and management at any other hotel. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. They have working air-conditioning which definitely helps after a long day outdoors! The food at the hotel is fantastic and the waiters are very helpful and very accommodating. Tasty ice cream shop (Boston) at the end of the road, Walmart, pharmacies, and small shops also within 5 minute walking distance. Lots of amenities around the hotel to help make the stay more comfortable. Overall a very clean hotel, I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in El Salvador!

Very noisy due to rock music being played across road. Finished st midnight on Friday. Staff are friendly. Food is very good. Rooms basic. Aircon in room works well. Bed is firm. Shower is below expectations.

Service at this hotel was excellent. The food at the restaurant was among the best in the city. I really enjoyed the dining around the pool. The rooms were simple and clean. The Hotel Terraza was a great value and experience.

I went to El Salvador knowing a little about this hotel,it surprisingly amazed me.The hotel by the time I was on there were remodeling the rooms so it was kind of noise nothing out of the world.Rooms are very spacious big beds Bathrooms have everything but I would love to see better and bigger pillows also a mini fridge be super nice and I want to specifies that I couldn't find any way to watch a soccer game that was a disappointment other that the rooms and service was supper the food amazing the pool was nice very well located Having breakfast by the hotel attended by the staff was outstanding I really recommended this hotel you won't regret it very good price for a well located hotel It really surprised me

This is a hotel with no upgrades since the 80's can't have any visits after 10 pm my friends came over to go out to the bars and since the bars starts late they met me here around 9:00 but then at 10:00 pm I got a call to my room stating that the visits was over....

Good neighbor, close to financial companies, good service but rooms and venues quite old. Food is ok but not excellent, price quite high in comparison whit others hotels such as Holiday Inn and Crown Hotel

I stayed for over a week here, and while it's not luxury accommodations, this hotel is clean, safe, has good food, and has great staff. They're great with events, plus the bartenders and waiters are all super nice. The rooms are decent, and definitely comfortable for a medium-term stay. The biggest recommendation I can make for the Hotel is that they need to update their gym... but honestly, even having a gym is helpful!

I was traveling to El Salvador for business and brought the whole family. The food at the award winning restaurant was among the best I have experienced throughout all of my travels and the service was amazing. It seemed like everyone, from the moment we arrived to the time we departed, went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The Hotel Terraza was a wonderful experience and we look forward to visiting again and again.

A great hotel in a fairly safe location. The staff here are excellent and many go above and beyond to help. Good, free, Wi-Fi. The rooms are very clean and well kept. Air conditioning works great and keeps the rooms cold due to the hot/humid weather. Breakfast buffet for breakfast with delicious coffee. The pool/dining area are gorgeous and look very nice at night. The bar area was changed from my last stay but it looks much better in my opinion, it's much more spacious and has more room for grabbing a drink and sitting at a table and does not feel crowded at all.

good wifi. excellent customer service. breakfast same everyday but sufficient. good location, McDonalds, dollarama (really), lots of eats within walking distance. rooms also nice and housekeeping good. far from airport but the airport is set far from city.
