Clean facility and friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I also appreciated no-smoking policy. This was overall a great stay after a long flight, and prior to heading to Sedona the next morning. Breakfast was nice and the breakfast staff worked hard to keep it clean and well supplied.
at the beginin was perfect but, after 4 days I was there the hotel over charge me the deposit again and I call to the hotel to ask about that situacion and the manager in charge was SUPER RUD 10/01/2024 I hope I get my money back !!! The other personal was super gentle and so helpfull
OK for price Very good service and staff. The location is good. Sometimes the outside door locks don't work. The outside seating area and driveway could use an occasional washing. Overall good value. Maybe switch up the breakfast menu? Would stay again if necessary
Quiet location, ok breakfast, staid 2 nights. however to stuffy and humid in the lobby and the hallways, giving off a bad oddor The building does not have AC/ only the rooms and main hotel areas have AC. Staff was nice, however I would not stay there again.
Got a room in the middle of the night with no issues. Price was reasonable. Deposit was to be expected but was refunded at check out with no issues. Pillows were very fluffy - bed was firm but the linens were all crisp, clean, and fresh. AC worked great. Towels are plush and soft. The room I stayed in was simple yet nice and was very clean. The hallways didn't have any weird lingering odors like some indoor hotels seem to acquire - I didn't use any amenities and I missed breakfast but I would definitely stay here again. Very close to the light rail system.
Comfort & peaceful was the experience at first entry as I was greeted by the receptionist. The atmosphere takes you in like welcome arms, the decore was enchanting as was the receptionist. Friendly with the biggest smile and bright eyes. WELCOME
Good hotel located around everything plenty of shopping and food around. Located right next to I-17. Staff was amazing and friendly very helpful. I had a king suite which was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. I like that the TV was mounted to the wall with a swivel bracket so you could rotate the TV and see it from every angle of the room no matter where you were at.
Close to high way. Friendly staff. Housekeeper nice but her manager checking up after her needs to double check who is still checked in before badging herself into rooms with out knocking.
Overall just a great stay I have a pet they made it easy and it was affordable it was clean everyone was friendly especially the front desk the breakfast was actually really good for a little hotel yeah overall just a great stay
Hotel was close to gas station and native grill other than that there nothing really great about the location.
The hotel is situated near a freeway where you can just whisked out. The management welcomes BW Rewards member by indicating their membership status in a white board placed opposite the front desk.
Rooms are very comfortable.Very clean. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Very accommodating and responsive staff. I would recommend this place to everyone
We were in Phoenix for a family emergency and we're unable to plan in advance. We stayed at a competitors location the first 2 days which added an enormous amount of stress during a trying time. We finished our stay at Best Western and we couldn't have been happier with the service and accommodations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Pool was great and there was a variety of breakfast options to wake up to. The room had everything we needed. We are homebodies even away from home so glad it was easy to use our roku. Great staff. Good location but you need a car
Great location and value. Bed was comfy and room was spacious. Loved the automatic pancake maker available at breakfast.
Very comfortable beds, clean room, very good breakfast! This hotel will be my first option on my next travel.
I've gotten so used to hotels charging for a bottle of water, not cleaning rooms daily, and bare bones breakfast options that I was very happy and surprised with this BW. We are rewards members and we were gifted two actual bottles of water at check in, rooms were freshened daily unless you asked them not to, and breakfast had nice little details like blueberry syrup and blueberries for pancakes and waffles, and several other nice additions. The room was clean and comfortable, everything works well, and it was quiet. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we come to the area.
We stay here whenever we are in town. Friendly front desk staff and workers. Good breakfast and service. Comfortable rooms and clean.
Ended up getting stuck in AZ due to vehicle issues. Was so glad we found this place. Cozy rooms. Extra kind staff. Delicious breakfast. Pool/hot tub. Pet friendly. Stable internet. Conveniently located. Great price. Truly the best!
Quick trip to Phoenix for a wedding and this hotel was near the location. I don't recall staying at a Best Western recently but I would stay here again! The staff was nice and friendly and accommodating as I was allowed to check in early (1pm). Unfortunately, I was designated to the first floor after requesting something higher, she said the room I selected making my reservation on Expedia was first floor only. Pretty sure she made that up but no worries. Check in was quick, they offered breakfast but I didn't partake. The room was huge, a lot of unused space but the King bed was huge and comfy. It was pretty clean except for the hair I found in the tub. I really enjoyed the small toiletries provided, they smelled great! There was no carpet and I loved that as well. There was a microwave and fridge along with a lot of counter space. I also chose this hotel for the EV charging but this charger was useless. It had to be the lowest level charger available as it only gave about a mile an hour, if that. We call that a slow or trickle charge. Lastly, the property was really clean! I saw the maintenance guy outside actually wiping down the trash cans, etc.
Friendly staff, decent breakfast but a very small area to eat in. The rooms are clean, a bit musty smelling and dated. Conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. Pool is small but nice. Make sure your in the back otherwise you hear the highway
My credit card was hacked and they did not treat me very nice. I am a minority female and my friends have always worried about me traveling alone. I have never had any issues in my life until visiting this location Best Western. I love this area but go to the Double Tree by Hilton or any other hotel in the area. Management treated me like a criminal. My brother called them and offered to pay for my stay and they talked to him like we are criminal masterminds. They told him he couldn't pay for my stay because I refused to give them a small deposit or I didn't have it. I had quite a bit of money, just not on the card I booked trip on. I was able to pay for and stay one night with said card and deposit. At check out and went downstairs to talk and was not told but locked out of my room and told to try to move money on to said card. I walked for miles to a bank atm, only to find this was not possible. Then I was called and told to come get my stuff. I was very nervous and left a few things. Placed e-mail requesting things be shipped back. Doubletree by Hilton and 1 other place in the area I have been lately I can't think of are 10 stars. Everyone but management nice.
This hotel was amazing. The gentlemen at the front desk where friendly and SUPER helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were just the right temperature. Perfect for a late night swim/soak after a day a the ball park. I will definitely stay again!
Very accommodating hotel for our soccer team. The pool was a huge hit with the girls. Plenty of seating & games plus the grill were appreciated. The staff was so friendly and let us do our thing including having catered dinner a couple of nights. The hotel was very clean. Only downside was since it's an older hotel, there is only 1 USB port in the room. We had to buy cubes the first day.
Nice hotel and friendly staff. Great location for food and shopping. There is a small fitness room and a breakfast room. Breakfast sitting is limited so go early if you want a seat. Check in was smooth.
I loved how clean this hotel appeared. I had a hard time finding a hotel that doesnt allow pets so I was skeptical about trying this hotel. I was very impressed with how clean it was and how safe and secure I felt the parking lot and property were
Our room was very clean and everyday was cleaned top noch. Breakfast every morning was fresh and good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with everything we needed. Overall great place to stay.
From arrival to departure the staff and facility are impressive. All staff have always shown courtesy and respect. Making anyones stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Breakfast has many choices and options of beverages. Pool and gym available. Internet also. Close access to fwy. to all local attractions.
I needed a hotel close to the State Farm Stadium as I was attending a game. This place fitted the bill with it being 25 minutes away and also close to the airport. Good food options around (Denny's, Olive Garden, IHOP). Free car parking. Check in 1.30pm is earlier than most which is ideal. Excellent rooms very comfortable bed and good bathroom. TV has all the channels you need and WiFi is good. The one minor thing is no safe. Breakfast is included and good options here with scrambled eggs, toast, pancakes, cereals, yoghurt, tea and coffee. Staff very nice. I loved my stay here I'd come again for sure.
Staff was great. But breakfast was mid, maintenance of room was lacking, and mattress was hard and springs popping out making sleep difficult. Pullout sofabed was as bad as the one at your house. They did have a pool and fitness center we didn't use. And they're extremely close to numerous food options and the freeway.
I stayed here for four nights as a solo traveler, and I think I was able to get a really good hotel rate because I wasn't staying during peak tourist season. You get some good rooms and amenities; breakfast with hot items every morning, pool, fitness room, laundry, wifi. Staff was friendly and helpful. Even though the location is not in downtown, it's usually only about $18-$22 to get to downtown (and other attractions like Camelback Mountain or the Musical Instrument Museum). I also loved that the hotel was far enough away from the streets/freeway, so even if you got a room in the front, noise was never an issue for me. Highly recommend this hotel.
Booked to go visit Daughter who recently moved to Phoenix. Always had good luck with best Western. Did not disappoint. Clean full hotel with good amenities. Full breakfast and excellent staff. Definitely would stay again and recommend to all!
We stayed here Thursday and Friday of Labor Day Weekend. We helped our daughter relocate from San Diego to Phoenix. This hotel is located on N Black Canyon Hwy, right next to the 17 freeway. It has many hotels and restaurants along it. We chose this hotel based on the reviews and ratings. We checked in about 5:30 pm after a long day of unloading vehicles, moving furniture, and setting up house in our daughter's apartment. The temperature was 110 degrees and we were very tired. The front desk clerk checked us in, but was not very friendly and was unable to accomodate my wife's request for a 2nd or 3rd story room even though we had booked the room well in advance. We weren't thrilled about that. The room, though on the first floor, was tucked in the back and was actually very quiet. It was set up for handicapped, and thus was spacious, including the bathroom. The AC worked great and the water pressure and temperature were fine. There was a mini-fridge and a hairdryer. I do not find hotel beds to be very comfortable in general and this hotel was no different, though I did sleep well both nights, unusual for me (my first night is usually rough). They do have a pool and gym, as well as a complimentary breakfast, which we only partaked of on the second morning. It had standard fare: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hot and cold ceral, juices, coffee, and pastries. All good. Checking out was easy. When we asked for extra towels, we were told that a dryer was not working and none were available. We had to wait but the housekeeper brought us nice warm towels, straight from thd dryer. Nice. In North Phoenix, where our daughter is now living, there are many hotels to choose from. I would be inclined to try a different one next time we visit.
Prices were below decent for such a nice room. It was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were on the hard side. Pull out coach was available, but we didn't need it. I would recommend!
I was on an extended business trip in northern Arizona and took an quick overnight personal getaway to Phoenix. Being away from city center, you save a few dollars, but it's in easy driving distance to any attraction or eatery you want to get to. The hotel is tucked away off a one-way frontage road from the N/S interstate and it's a little tricky to find and get to (pulled into the wrong driveway), but it's away from the noise of the freeway and a clean, well-appointed room awaits you within. Staff was friendly. Request for extra pillows was fulfilled. There's a great chicken-wing restaurant in walking distance for an evening snack; though walking in the 110+ Phoenix heat makes it seem farther than it is. The only negative I can comment on is that the light in the bath/shower room seemed a bit dim, but that's it. Working A/C made me forget I was staying in the middle of a weeks long heat wave in southern AZ!
It was a 10pm decision to book here, and we were all tired and so happy of the cleanliness and space of the suite. We had just arrived and then immediately left another hotel in Phoenix in terrible condition, and thankfully I found this hotel available. It was a sigh of relief walking through the door. The room was clean and appealing. I was able to visit the gym. We had a good breakfast. It was a little pricey but worth our comfort and safety.
This is the second time we used the North Phoenix location as our hub while we visited Phoenix. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Parking is easy (and free). The neighborhood is safe with great nearby restaurants. It is so easy to get to downtown, Scottsdale and other nearby attractions. We will definitely choose to stay here again!
Stayed here for 5 nights. Location is quite good, if your appointments are N of downtown. But, this is an older property with some issues. Example, the thermostat gyrated wildly, the thermometer read 83 most of the time. I resorted to just adjusting the air manually. The rooms are decently furnished, but are surprisingly dark even in midday sun. Breakfast is a huge plus. I might have rated these folks, except that I noticed they had gouged me an extra $12 over the reservation price on last night.
every body was great staff hepfull breakfast was ok area was kept clean the hotel was very clean all areas rooms were a nice size. close to restaurants are close by . there is road work on dunlap but you can get by great place to stay
Such a lovely hotel. We only stayed one night as flew in from the UK and were on our way to Page. The young lady at reception ( I think she was the manager ) was so friendly and helpful. The room was really clean. Breakfast was superb. The breakfast staff were excellent. Only wished we could have stayed longer. Didn't use it but the pool looked inviting.
Well located on the I-17 Northbound. Large room with all commodities. King bed and a Canape. The only deception was that we would have preferred two beds but our request could not be met. One had to take the Canape. Day and night staff were very friendly and informative. The Hot tub was much appreciated. There is also a heated pool. Very good complimentary breakfast.
The layout for the room we had this time was great! We've stayed here a few times. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is satisfying. We do recommend Best Western to others as a great place to stay!
Pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful staff was at check in and check out. Clean room although small I didn't mind the space. Room had microwave mini fridge. I would recommend this hotel on your next trip to Phoenix.
I frequently travel to Phoenix; I usually stay in the 3-4 star chains. I decided after my last experience at Hyatt Place, I would give this BW a try. I was pleasantly surprised!! I have found my new favorite hotel. This location is outstanding! Very clean and comfortable room, and friendly staff. The entire hotel is well-kept. The breakfast wasn't bad either, again putting other chains to shame. Keep up the good work BW!
This hotel is mediocre compared to both other Best Westerns as well as neighboring hotels at the same price point. The rooms are small and dated, and the breakfast was not only bland but also laid out in a shabby windowless room. More importantly, we had an issue which could only be handled by the general manager, Jennifer (as we were told both by her and other staff members.) When the issue was not resolved during our stay and she did not return numerous calls for a week following, we reported her to Best Western Corporate. Corporate immediately followed up and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. However, the general manager, angry at having been called out, then wrote us an extremely nasty email using inflammatory language (which we also forwarded to Corporate). No hospitality here! We will never stay here again.
I stayed two nights after an auto accident out in the desert. The staff took me in and gave me a warm, safe place to stay until I could work out transport back to Seattle. Breakfasts were great and the desk staff was most helpful in recommending food delivery, since I had no vehicle.
Really nice place, awesome front desk people. Just needs better signage for your entrance, little confusing if the driver is tired. The first time I always enter your competition's driveway then realize I should have entered the second one.
From the moment we walked in til the moment we left we had a great experience. Front desk staff, SHELBY and BARBARA where top notch. And issue or question they had good answers for. TONY the resident engineer was also most excellent and very hard working. We had a big dust storm roll through and he cleaned up the pool area very quickly. The pool temperature was also perfect. Not to warm but not to cold. Just right to cool off. The room was nice and clean and spacious. The breakfast was also very nice with plenty of variety.
I called this place regarding a genuine issue, I left my watch in my room. The way they handled the situation was absolutely pathetic. I called the hotel three times to get hold of them. Then I wrote my experience on google to let people know that this is a serious matter. Writing a guest how dare and we don't need a guest like you shows a pathetic way of representing a brand. I am ashamed that people like you are representing the brand and replying to a guest who lost $6000 worth of wristwatch shows you are absolutely poorly representing the great brand name. Shame on you! you are talking about the so-called owner. I want to let you know that being an owner I felt ashamed of the way you guys have handled this situation. Shame on you for treating a guest like this! you are talking about the Brand name. This is not the brand, this is you trying to hide your capability of handling a customer concern. By writing how dare! I must ask you how dare you write so called owner, Please be mindful that everyone is going to read and see how you are trying to manipulate the situation. Please don't dare to mistreat people's genuine concerns. Please get some more training to handle these situations and don't use the Brand name for the lack of your knowledge. This shows that you are not representing a great brand! you are representing a person with no knowledge of the Brand.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great room at 2:00am. Extended check out until 12 so we could get some needed sleep. Bed comfy and nice King room. A bit tucked off access road but worth it. We enjoyed our brief stay.
Just the usual hotel type - Nothing fancy, nothing super-excellent, nothing bad - Although our sleep was really good in very comfortable beds! The kitchenette was nice, the AC was working well but never seemed to be able to reach the temperature I had set it to (although it was really hot outside, that could be the reason why), the TV was in an ackward position at an angle from the bed but very watchable. A good place to stay, nothing negative to say about this place. Spent two nights there.
We spent 5 nights here in July, and was very impressed with this hotel. Breakfast was hot with lots to choose from. The pool was clean and available for guests. Staff was very friendly, and we felt very safe both inside and outside the hotel. The room was clean, and our towels were refreshed daily. Based on the cost of other hotels in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, this is a great value!
I stay here many times a year when I visit Phoenix. The staff are wonderful and make me feel welcome. The hotel is clean, quiet and located about 10-15 minutes from downtown. I would recommend this property to anyone going to Phoenix. I have stayed here for years and will continue to do so.
This is a really good hotel. It is very clean, quiet and modern. The hotel staff is really good, especially the maid service. The breakfast is really good and there was plenty of food and it was hot and fresh. I will definitely stay here again.
I have been coming to this hotel now for over two years on a weekly basis. Always clean the rooms are very nice. A nice breakfast area and pool as well as there gym. Natalie at the front counter is always a delight and very helpful.
There was a man fixing something right outside our window and we were on the second floor. He was up on a ladder the whole day. From traveling, we were extremely tired and couldn't rest from all the drilling and noise the man was making.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. It was quiet and much more than I expected for the price. It is secure from all the transients once you get to the hotel. Located by many food options and attractions.
This is a Fantastic hotel and don't think twice about booking as you will love it and there is anything that you could possibly complain about. From Check-in to Check out, everything was prefect. After a long day to road travel getting at the hotel at 7pm tired and Hungry, I was pleasantly greeted by Natalie. She Thanked me for being a Best Western Rewards member and then gave me a small bag that contained 2 Bottle of water and a energy bar. I then asked Natalie if she could recommend a good Mexican restaurant that was clos to the hotel. She very happily did so and let me tell you, She hit it out of the park. It was a Great restaurant. After eating I returned to a Perfect hotel. This place is great. Thank you Best Western North Phoenix Hotel. It was a pleasure.
The hotel was very clean, including common areas and the room itself. The bed was very comfortable. The room was larger than I expected, including a refrigerator, counter and sink. The staff were available, friendly and responsive.
We needed one night in Phoenix and we selected this property because we try to use Best Western when possible. It was in a good location, walking distance to two places to eat and several others if you want to drive. The property was easy to access, the front staff that checked us in Christine was fabulous! The attendant a breakfast was very good and the breakfast was fine. I would recommend this property if you are needing a room in Phoenix.
Awesome place to stay. It is everything the brand of Best Western represents. Clean rooms, pleasant staff, great breakfast to choose from. I will be back to this location and recommend it to others. I travel with my own pillows but dont need them when I go stay here.
Everything you could want, very clean, lots of nice amenities. Nice staff. The price wasn't much more then some other hotels I stayed at that were horrific! I highly recommend this hotel! The breakfast was nice as well…
I was stuck in the bathroom due to a falling apart pocket door and was told the they had no other rooms with tow bed. I was then forced into a way to small room for a family of four that also had many broken items.
We had a good two night stay at this Best Western. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. In the days of COVID grab and go breakfasts, we were pleased to have a hot breakfast at this hotel. The heated pool and the hot tub were both enjoyed by those of us from the frigid midwest. We chose this hotel because of location, near the Musical Instruments Museum, the City Park of Phoenix for hiking, and the airport. The only complaints were a mini frig that froze our colas and the pricey in-house laundry facility.
For starters, the front desk is helpful when asked but rarely ever smile. There is one ice machine for the entire hotel which is located on the 1st floor. Breakfast is ok but could be better. Did not offer any bagels or toast but had 2 kinds of small muffins. Offered sausage links, biscuits and gravy and frozen omelets (which weren't hot), and cereal. Housekeeping is average as well. Upon checking in, closet door was broken and barely hanging on, two lamp shades were half-cocked and crooked, carpet molding on one side of the wall is coming off and there were dirty smudges on the light switch by the bathroom sink. Bathroom mirror wasn't cleaned well either. Found some hair still on the bathroom floor and in the tub. Was low on toilet paper when we left the room in the morning and had to go to the desk upon return because the maid did not leave an extra roll. Bed was made but top blanket was tucked in at a crooked angle. I almost laughed at this. Clearly, attention to detail is not important to some.
My friends and I selected this hotel from a variety of options. We were attending a large dog show at the AZ State Fairgrounds. Before arrival, the hotel manager went out of her way to assist my friends with their reservations. We all enjoyed the thoughtful amenities in the rooms. My room was a large King with a wet bar, microwave, and refrigerator. It was nice that more than one pack of coffee was included each day. The grounds were well kept and I felt very safe taking my dog out at night. Additionally, there is a large dog park on the street behind the hotel. I will certainly recommend this hotel to others, and I plan on staying here for this event next year. I did not have breakfast, but it appeared there was a large variety of breakfast options. Other guests were respectful of night quiet time, and the bed was comfortable.
Hotel staff was exceptional. Signage to find the hotel was very poor but easy to navigate. The front desk was very helpful in finding solutions to the room problems. First problem was that the TV remote didn't work so we changed rooms. Second room we found soiled/stained sheets. The third room was good but the lighting was very dim, especially in the bathroom.
Still a great place to stay in Phx. The rooms are clean and quiet. Lots of good food within 5-10 minutes. The staff are very nice and helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Phx area.
It was a short trip this time. Was only one night to go to the Cardinals game on Christmas day. It was a perfect hotel for the game. Not far at all. The area of North Phoenix was a little bad but our room was great.
Staff was very helpful from the beginning. The room was very clean, organized, and looked excellent. My only complaint were the pillows being too bulky. My neck was at an angle when trying to sleep. I prefer flatter pillows for easier sleep. I had to use my sweater lol.
This is one of my favorite BW's to stay in. Its Clean and Modern. The decor is nice and soothing. It's quiet and ticked in off the street. It's very near anything you would need. They always have a nice staff. I have stayed here often and never had a bad experience.
This hotel is clean and the staff made my stay very enjoyable. I felt that I was valued as a client. The location is also centralized to the various venues I attended during my stay in Phoenix, Arizona.
I was VERY happy with this hotel. What's more important is my girlfriend was happy with it. ALL staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We arrived stupid early (9:00AM) and just stopped in to confirm they had our reservation. We booked directly and the price was the same so I suggest doing that... Regardless, we had a spot and that was cool. The gal took our cell number and offered to call us if a room was ready earlier which also impressed us. I can honestly say there was ZERO issues our entire stay. The only "eyebrow raising" issue was that on our second of a 3 day stay we gifted a giant box of Ferrero Rocher to a different front desk gal to show our appreciation and gratitude of the stellar service of all staff, yet no staff we spoke with ever knew or got any of them, not sure what happened but they all knew they got shorted of our token of appreciation. No funky smells anywhere in the complex, the place was spotless. We will be returning at least 2 more time as we are planning to move into the area and will definitely stay there again. I never once felt uncomfortable there.
I loved our experience while staying at the BW North Phoenix Hotel. The rooms were by far the best rooms I have stayed at for the price and I was blown away by how much space the room had and amenities that were provided! Best of all, the location of this hotel was right across the freeway with tons of restaurants, attractions and plenty of places for shopping! This was our first time in AZ and we picked the best hotel for it! Everything we needed was 5 minutes away!
Check in was super fast even though I arrived really late. The interior and exterior of hotel was well kept. Breakfast area was super clean and always stocked. Our room was clean but had an awful odor due to carpet cleaning that had been done within a few days of our stay, which I don't think was completely dry. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get another room because the hotel was completely sold out. The hotel is not in a good location but you couldn't tell once you went in. Just two mins from the sports complex we played at.
We had business in the area and needed to rest before heading back to our home which is a long drive. We like staying at Best Western because we can depend on it for good price and nice room. This location did not disappoint. We had a good rest and good breakfast there.
Just stayed over night. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Loved the decor. The whole facility was clean and in excellent shape. The breakfast was ok but could use some improvement but might be that way due to Covid. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but the grounds were very pretty. A great stay.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and stocked. It was also kept cold which is very nice when it's more than 100 degrees outside. The parking lot was well lit so no need to worry too much about your car.
Still good. Hard to get to, being on a frontage road and all, and the driveway is not well marked, and had a palm tree lying on its side in the middle of it when we were there. But that problem will be solved. They have two electric car chargers in the parking lot, which ought to become a bullet point or a check box pretty soon in TripAdvisor.
The hotel itself didn't seem bad I like that it seemed pretty safe since the area it's in is full of bums. Unfortunately the room smelled like smoke, which was weird cuz the place seemed really strict about the no smoke policy. The ironing board was broken, it didn't go all the way up. My we tried to get a replacement but there wasn't any. When we were gonna pull out the mattress in the sofa bed it had a huge stain on it. The A/C sounded like it was gonna give out at any given time. It didn't. The experience wasn't exceptional but it wasn't the worst.
This is a very nice hotel. It is clean, quiet and the staff is outstanding. Located 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix and 20 minutes from Scottsdale it is in a great location. Plenty of good places to eat within 5 minutes and a amusement park within 2 minutes. This is a great place to stay in Phoenix area and I highly recommend it.
Between covid damage and extensive growth in the Valley, this area in north Phoenix, which was safe, clean and above average, has seriously deteriorated to inner city standards. Metro center mall shut down as have many well known former eating establishments. There were transient homeless people camping in the back parking lot near my car during my stay. There is also a serious drug and criminal environment visible. The hotel itself is clean and quiet, but as a single senior woman, I will not stay in this part of Phoenix again. Very sad to see what has happened to this area.
This trip was an emergency trip, but my second time staying there and I wasn't let down. It was clean the staff was WONDERFUL,breakfast was great and hot. It sits across from a them park is great!!!!!!
I have never been to Phoenix but was warned the area I would be in was sketchy at best. After carefully reading reviews I chose this location. It was exceptional. It was clean, quiet and well maintained. It wasn't the Ritz but for the price it was excellent. The breakfast was good and the employees were friendly and very helpful. If you are looking for a clean bathroom (my real test of how tidy a place is), quiet rooms (no loud neighbors), no illegal activity in the area, clean hallways/public areas, and a reasonable price this it the pace for you. The pool area was nice and the lobby was comfortable. Definitely a place I would book again when I need to go to Phoenix.
Bad service. Tried to contact manager through email because front desk was rude & unhelpful. Emailed twice. No response. Hotel was ok cleanliness wise but definitely BW has better. Also location is clunky off a one way street.
We stayed here for the hot breakfast. The room was a disappointment, the air conditioner smelled like dirty feet. They also billed me more than agreed by $25 without notice. With no damage or incidentals purchased.
I was not told that the hotel would run my credit card for a $100 deposit. Then, hold and not return my deposit. If they had returned my deposit, it should have been as quickly as they took it from my card.
Great stay staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area was clean and orderly as well as the pool Rooms very clean staff very friendly. Due to the fact that I didn't have to be at my appointment till 1:00pm they allowed me to check out at 12pm rather than the regular 11am check out time that you for a great stay
The room was very clean. Although it is close to the freeway the noise is not a problem. They served nice breakfast items both mornings I was there. It is close to canal walking paths. The outdoor swimming pool was nice with a few tables where I had lunch I bought at a nearby restaurant and there is a grill available for use. The only access is from a frontage road that runs along I-17.
Upon pulling down the sheets, noticed blood on the bottom sheet. Called the front desk and the front desk clerk came to the room with replacement sheets. He was very kind, polite, apologetic and expedient to make the situation right.
Location, location, and location is all I have to say! This hotel was very accommodating for our large family during our stay. Of course, the breakfast, internet, parking, and fast plus friendly check-in service was also worth the stay. Our family will be coming back to this hotel for future stays.
Overall hotel appearance was in good order and well kept. Check in was relatively quick. The room was the big problem. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but someone had obviously used the room to hot box recently. Absolutely horrible smell and found ash on the bed (the maid staff taking a siesta?). I complained to the desk manager and asked for a different room, but of course, none were available. They offered to move me the following morning after a guest checked out. I was stuck sleeping next to the window open all night and the bathroom and room fan running. The next day when I returned to swap rooms the clerk explained they were all booked up. Apparently my request for another room wasn't passed along. Add to this headache the fact the desk clerk had horrible phone manners, and all in all this best western is best avoided.
We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. We have been coming here for the past few years. They are doing a very good job at following Covid safety guidelines. The rooms are clean. All the employees are friendly and willing to help. The heated pool and hot tub was so nice,
Wonderful size room. The breakfast was a little odd. You had to yell your order through your mask to the lady serving. Felt horrible trying to repeat "milk please" over and over. If a suggestion could be made, it would be to have a printed out list of option with a check off square that you could present to her. Other than that, we really did enjoy our stay.
Clean hotel. Good size room. Bed little stuff. But everyone has their preferences. Few hotel doing breakfast. Didnt have any but had a person serving for you. Check in and out was smooth transactions. Internet was little slow
Our four-night stay was enjoyable and the hotel was very pet friendly. The front-desk staff was very friendly and responsive and made sure our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful for a COVID restricted breakfast and the serving staff was friendly and responsive. (The bacon was especially good!)
Coffee maker didn't work, Hotel atm didn't work but it's clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Parking is easy and it's very close to interstate access. The Ron was very comfortable despite the ac sounds like a jet taking off throughout the night. Upon returning I'll ask specifically to not be in room #330
Room was nice, good size and clean. We didn't use the pool or jacuzzi but walked by it and it looked very inviting. Good breakfast and appreciated all of the covid precautions they were taking. Love the coffee machines!
Stayed one night and all was great. Check in was easy. Room very nice with vinyl wood floors so great for dog friendly room. Lots of rock areas by parking lot for dog. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
Got an order from work to stay the night, and the place was exactly as it should have been...clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything worked, and it looked as if the crew did a bang up job at cleanliness!
I was greeted by Antonia upon check in and I felt welcomed. I for one work at a hotel and I know when I see someone with great customer service skills. If given the chance I will hire her at my hotel in a heart beat.
My stay here was great! All hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The cleanliness of this hotel is fantastic! Before checking into best Western I stayed at another place that was dirty, noisy and just did not feel comfortable to be. I would definitely recommend staying here!
I have been coming to this hotel for over a year now and staying a minimum of 4 times a month. It's a great hotel very clean nice rooms and a excellent staff. I would recommend this particular Bestwestern to anyone staying in Phoenix AZ.
I usually have a room on the second or third floor. This time I was on the first level, and I have to say the minuses were the heavy constant footsteps overhead from the person in the room above me, and the patio (even though it was completely empty on this trip) being located right outside my window which made me not want to raise my blinds to let in the sun for privacy concerns. Still, I like this particular property. I always stay here when I come back to Phoenix. The room was clean, modern and well-appointed and provided easy access to places I wanted to go via I-17. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. It's a good value for the price I paid. I appreciated the front desk staff's friendliness, the fitness equipment and the hotel's efforts to keep guests safe using health and safety protocols during the pandemic.
Victims of a covid positive home that required my son and I to quarantine at a hotel. We were able find this hotel for a lower price to others and it was a surprise value for the dollar amount. With the holidays right around the corner funds were limited.
With family travel on way to california. This is 3rd time i stayed this location. Clean rooms, follow all CDC protocol. Safe to stay, staff is very professional. Rooms are all new and renovated, will stay again.
The rooms are spacious and ready for you to kick back and relax. Very modern and updated clean property and rooms. The staff is professional and attentive to all your needs. Two thumbs up for the Best in the Western.
Comfort and friendliness is why I choose Best Western and my recent stay in Phoenix was just that - Comfortable and friendly. The bed wasn't as hard as I'd of liked, but I did get a good nights sleep. Thanks to your staff for presenting a great place to stay.
The reason I chose this hotel was because generally BW are a comfortable chain and because I needed breakfast. When I made the reservation it said due to COVID, breakfast has going to be prepackaged or something along lines; however at check in, when I asked, I was told there would be no food at all! Not even coffee. So I had to spend another $30 to have food brought in. I might as well have stayed at a different hotel! The bed was so hard I barely got any sleep, sheets and towels were scratchy. Overall a terrible experience.
A Very Enjoyable week long stay at Best Western North Phoenix.. The hotel lived up to Tripadvisor reviews. Location was on a one way frontage road that made it a bit funky but not that difficult to maneuver. A handful of good restaurant options were within walking distance and dozens more were less than a mile away. the hotel is located in business area with a park near by so relatively quiet and enjoyed a daily walk. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable but rooms and breakfast area could be larger. the hotel is also family and pet friendly so a couple nights we had kids running the halls and one evening we heard a barking dog. The pool area was nice and water temp good. breakfast was your average hotel fare but crew keptit well stocked and all day coffee machine was a bonus. housekeeping was friendly and did a nice job and the front desk crew all were very nice especially Sam who was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and places to go. As I wrote in The title I would give The Best Western an overall grade of B or b+.
We recently spent a night here and used the pool and jacuzzi. Very clean and well-maintained. The room was in very good condition. Bed couldn't be more comfortable. Nice setup. Only issue was we were in a hurry to leave and did not check out as I noticed on the room card envelope it states "EXPRESS CHECKOUT AVAILABLE bestwestern.com". After reaching our destination I went to bestwestern.com and could not locate express checkout anywhere. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
The Best Western North Hotel is a good place to stay for the money. My wife and I stayed a week and although it may not be a a 5 it's solid 4. The rooms are a little bit on the small size and some nights the halls were noisy but the bed was comfortable and shower and AC worked well. Plus housekeeping crew did a very good job. Breakfast area could be larger but staff keeps it well stocked and there are some good options. All day coffee machine is a plus. Location is right off frontage road in a relatively quiet business area . There are a few resteraunts in walking distant and even more eating and shopping options within a mile radius. And can't forget the front desk crew. All were friendly and very helpful especially Sam and John.
Nearby many of the spring training stadiums. The breakfast area is very cramped. Over all a good stay, friendly staff. Carpets could be cleaner or replaced with tile like most are doing. No restaurants in walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay at this best western. We stay at several for baseball travel in the Phoenix area and this is our top 2nd hotel. The first, only to a larger family style best western. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. the pool was clean and relaxing. The food was hot and fresh and always full. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a enjoyable and relaxing weekend.
The hotel is typical in set up but the halls and rooms are painted in a dark olive green color with dark carpets that makes the place seen like a prison. Rooms are nothing special but were very clean. The free breakfast was not as good as others but the dining area is way too small for the number of guests. It was hard to get the food and to find a table. Would probably not stay again. Price was high due to the baseball spring training in Phoenix area.
This is my favorite spot when visiting Phoenix. Easy off the highway 17, close to everything. Staff is very helpful, rooms are large and clean. Breakfast is significant with pancakes and bacon! Good coffee.
Excellent room...clean, pleasant, quiet. I thought the price was perfect for the location and I felt like I got good value here. I would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. And there's a Sprouts nearby!!
I enjoyed the firm mattress-I do have a lot of spinal problems and BW always seem to have the firmest mattresses. Dining area could be bigger, especially on weekends when tour groups stay. Also could use a larger area for last minute needs such as personal items and toiletries. But this was a nice stay.
For the price BW provides many amenities. I stayed in a king size bed room with a 2 person couch & table, Bathroom and flush in same room and the sink was outside. Nice large HD wall mounted tv with lots of channels. Of course free wifi and 24 hr access to gym, plus a pool & outside hot tub. Vending machines with health option and some not. Full breakfast has always been good at all 3 BW's I've stayed at.
Limited parking and kinda confusing to find. But it was very clean, new and updated. The price was decent and actually a little lower than the other brands I use. Overall value was exceeded. The work out room looked nice, but I didn't use. I was very satisfied with the room and the comfortable beds.
The staff and service are awesome. The rooms are clean and well kept for. The amenities are a great value for the price you pay. Much cheaper then some of the other hotels in the area. This hotel is our go to place in Phoenix.
We book our hotel because of price and location for the weekend. We weren't sure what we would be expecting until we got to hotel because of some of the ratings and we were surprised in a very good way! The exterior of the hotel was very nice. Looked like it had been painted recently. It looked much better than the hotel that was next door to it. Best Western put theirs to shame. The lobby of the hotel was nice and clean and very modern. Josh, The front desk person was very nice and friendly. We were impressed with our room. Nice, clean, and roomy. The bed was very comfy. The Breakfast was really good. Hot Scrambled eggs, Sausage, Potatoes and onions with bells peppers. You could make a waffle, there was Oatmeal packets, variety of juices, hot coffee, danishes, fruit, yogurt, I could go on and on with everything they had. Parking was well lit. All in all we will probably book this hotel again next time we are in Phoenix. Kudos to Best Western. Keep up the great work!
Had a nice weekend stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room was spacious. Check in with Josh was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was simple but good...scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. Nice area, lots of dining options nearby. Would stay again.
We love staying here whenever we go to Phoenix. Everything is clean and welcoming. The rooms are clean and so comfortable. The free breakfast has many options. Our Grandson really enjoys the pool. The employees are friendly, helpful and courteous. I totally recommend this hotel.
Went on a short trip in northern Arizona and stayed here on our way back to Tucson. Very nice hotel, maintained and very clean. Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of options and food kept supplied and hot!
This hotel is very good for the price and close to food places, staff is very friendly and rooms are clean. The only unsatisfactory thing I experienced was that the hotel refused to give me a receipt upon departure because I booked through Expedia and had to check in and out twice for the 2 nights. I would stay there again in the future:)
hotel is clean. stay here many times. close to food and other places. staff very friendly. love the pull out sofa. micowave and mini frige very helpfull. kids enjoy the breadfeast and the pool. will stay here again
This place is horrible ! I booked through Expedia and could not cancel my reservation. They are rude and have horrible customer service . Tried to cancel reservation through them and could not get through to hotel. When I finally got through they said I was pass the cancellation window. Charged my card even though I never stayed there. They are thirsty and hard up for money. Beware !
This is a standard modern chain hotel located right on the I17 in North Phoenix. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped and the price is right. The breakfast is good, the complex is clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly. You'll have to drive if you want to go out for a meal. If you are visiting Phoenix with a car and a limited budget, this is a great option.
The hotel is in a business distrct a few miles from downtown Phoenixthat is not busy on weekends and holidays. The facility is very clean and welll maintained. The rooms are large and quite. Our stay for 3 nights was enjoyable.
On this stay I booked my room at the wrong best Western on accident. The front desk at this hotel worked hard to help me correct this and save me from having to drive a extra thirty minutes each day to me event as I has here on business. I stay at this hotel when ever I'm in town. I have tried many of they other upper quality hotels in this area and found this to be one of my favorite. I do much traveling and stay at many hotels. So if you want to get your money's worth and have a great place to stay look no further. Place is very clean, bads are nice and comfortable and workers are very nice and helpful. Also you get a nice breakfast with a great coffee machine that makes hot fresh coffee all day. Hope to be back soon..
This is home away from home for me. Everyone here is nice and friendly. I love this property. When I need to stay in Phoenix, I stay here. I've been staying at this property since it opened a couple years ago.
We loved this Best Western hotel, one of our best stays ever! Front desk staff was wonderful, very accommodating, and always willing to help or answer questions. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
This hotel is clean, staff is friendly and the price is better than most. It is located off a one-way street so to get back to it requires a trip around the area (block). A small inconvenience for a nice and safe place to stay.
One of the very best BW's I have stayed in the past year. Great price for a well appointed room with all the animities you need. I will stay at this BW every time I go to Phoenix, Az. Outstanding.....I can not say enough good things about this place. You actually need to stay here and see for your self.
Great room, But they charged me 60.00 for 2 chihuahuas. Outrageous!! As a gold member I will never stay there again!! I was denied the family discount because my son lived within 50 miles from his residence. I live in Flagstaff and he doesn't have any room for me to stay with him! You might want to rethink this policy!
Nice large room with sofa and fridge. Quiet, clean, great breakfast. Highly recommended for families . Right across the highway from Castles and coasters and near lots of restaurants. Nice pool area too and fairly easy to get anywhere in the city
Stayed 2 nights (10/31-11/1) in king-bed room (234). Could open the windows, which is a big plus for us.Room was very clean, shower excellent and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was fine, with some tables outside.Staff exceptionally friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The woman who checked us in was beyond helpful, courteous, and professional. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay there.
The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to help where they can. We had some special needs that meant we needed a particular room type. Everybody from the front desk to the housekeeping did everything they could to be helpful.
I booked this place sight unseen and was NOT disappointed. Clean, friendly people, full breakfast and convenient location near Metrocenter. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Pool looked nice as did the exercise room. Food was good and they offered lots of extra toppings and things for your breakfast. Will stay again for sure.
Clean property both inside and out. Being greeted by smiling and friendly staff. Check in was very welcoming, great staff lead by Aletia and the front desk agent (sorry, no name). Room was extremely clean and updated. One big plus, this property has far better refrigerators than the Westin properties I have visited. The bed was comfortable an other big plus! Nice breakfast, hit the spot! I didn't attend the social hour, will next time. The checkout was smooth and enjoyable, thanks again to the manager Aletia, hospitality all the way! See you next time!
My wife and I stayed here for two nights and the Camby for three nights. This place cost $79 a night less and I liked it better. It had a better pool, free breakfast and the rooms were updated and just as good as the Camby. The service at Best Western was better! Nice staff. The Best Western has no restaurant or bar inside but many restaurants are nearby. This place is a very good value!
The staff at check in and check out were great. Extremely pleasant and helpful I like the lobby area since I had to have a meeting and it was comfortable and quite Spacious rooms but a little small on the vanity area. Excellent breakfast but you will need to get down for breakfast before they run out of danish's
The hotel was clean and well appointed. The breakfast was good and well stocked. The pool and hot tub were clean but late in the day there were no towels. Overall it was a great stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in this area.
While I was at dinner I was robbed. I came back into my Room and my bags were missing and when I reported this to the desk they said they couldn't review the cameras until the morning and I figured it must have been an inside job anyways so I let it go instead of wasting my time to get upset about something I would probably not get anything back
Outstanding stay. Central location. Easy in and out. Staff was top notch. Clean, secure, short travel to restaurants. Breakfast was usual Best Western . Servers kept up with the crowd. And in room menu offered off site delivery of lunch, dinner items. Highly recommend!
Solid breakfast. Super clean. Friendly staff. Location is quiet and secure, but a little tough to get in and out of. One way street and all.. Beds are firm and the rooms are average in set up. Overall, a great place to stay for the money.
Easy access off the I-17 freeway. Restaurants nearby. Clean rooms. Full hot breakfast included. Helpful staff. Large mall and movie theater right across the freeway. Bathroom was small, but adequate. Would stay again if we are in the area.
We had medical appointments in Phoenix area and needed a decent room at an affordable price. We carefully read the reviews of the affordable properties and ended up at this Best Western. We were not disappointed. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was really good too. It's obvious that management is trying really hard to run a quality facility and it's working!
From a long drive (13hrs) to AZ and we walk in and there is a friendly face wanting to help us in anyway. He first offers us water, has our names on a board and recognizes us for our rewards Diamond membership. Tells us whatever we need he will try to help us. We get into our room its very clean, updated, and yes, its cool, we arrived in AZ that day and it was 114 degrees in the evening!!!! Wonderful breakfast and staff.
Were not clear on the rate i would be paying each night. Had to pay two deposots because i extended my stay 3 nights so 200 dollars didnt go back into my account until 3 days after check out. The staff could really care less about you and i always seemed to feel like i was a huge invonvienience
Excellent Service. Room was clean. Allowed to check in 2 hours early with no hassle. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ready early and was warm with a good selection. Will stay there again for future trips to GCU!
excellent one-night stay with great breakfast, very helpful staff, extremely reasonable rates, location was exactly what we needed for the purpose of our visit, easy in and out close to major a freeway
When I called to make a reservation and then again at check in I was never told about any $100 deposit.in fact my card was swiped without telling me about the deposit.you need to let guest know about policy because at 2 other Best Western I was never charged a deposit
Very clean hotel with a friendly, helpful staff. The beds are among the most comfortable I have stayed (I have traveled across the country numerous times for business). I would consider this the best hotel in this area I have stayed in past few years, but it does have downfalls. The hotel is diffficult to get to from the north and difficult to get out of to the south (have to loop around I-17) and you need to bring a plug-in charger for your phone/tablet, as they do not have USB ports in the rooms (every hotel I have stayed in for the past 10 years does).
To keep this brief, won't be back. We dealt w/ incompetence form the start, cleaning people who couldn't clean and front desk people who lied on us and who wouldn't take ownership of issues we addressed. To their credit, they ultimately did refund some of our money, but the damage had been done.
This was am awesome stay and Josh helped us out a lot. He is very professional and he helped us out with all we needed. Thank you josh your the best bell man. And the room was clean I loved my stay!:)
We got the King Executive room and it was beautiful. They had refreshments in the Lobby and the staff was very friendly. Granite upgraded bathroom with marble walk in shower was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Great Hotel at a great price.
rooms are clean - spacious- clear picture flat screen tv works with a wall mount swivel - pool & breakfast area super clean - pool towels stocked full - i had a room with sleeper sofa & still there was plenty of room plus small coffee table - it was a wonderful stay
I "ALWAYS" stay at a Best Western Hotel, I know what to expect and when you have driven hundreds of miles for meetings or appointments, it is important to know what to expect. I like the breakfast always being out there for me in the morning, I can make my own waffles or have cereal and juices. I like knowing there is coffee always ready late at night when I enter after driving hours in the dark. The staff are pleasant and competent. The room is clean and bright. I get what I want and need at the Best Western Hotel.
Extremely courteous staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and nice fitness center. Very close to the interstate. This inn gives you an excellent value for your money. Highly recommend!!
There is a higher priced hotel near this Best Western where I used to stay when coming to Phoenix. I decided to try this hotel because it has better rates. In terms of service, appearance, cleanliness, service, complimentary breakfast, this meets the standard of the higher priced hotel. It will be my go to hotel on my regularl trips to Phoenix to visit family.
I stay in a lot of hotels and this was one of the best values! Comfortable room. Great air conditioning. Breakfast was very good too! Will stay at this Best Western again when I have another business trip in Phoenix.
This is an excellent hotel. Rating A+. This hotel was very clean, room was large. Good location to restaurants. Enjoyed the pool. I have recommended this hotel to family members. Located close to the freeways.
Everyone was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and looked fairly new. AC unit was quiet and parking was easy access to outside door. Check in and out was super fast. Good selection of tv channels. Price for the room was very reasonable!
Clean, affordable and you save money with a great free breakfast! Modern rooms with a nice flat screen tv that swivels out toward the bed. Lots of restaurants near by for a late dinner, also have room service available.
The overall experience was great; however, the hours of operation for the breakfast (6-9am) is way too early for a family with small children. I highly encourage this staff to increase their hours of operation for breakfast to accommodate this guest community.
Very clean hotel, nice but small lobby with all the amenities we needed. Good pool/hot tub hours to 10pm. Secure with every door requiring key card. Very functional fast elevators. Good breakfast hours 6-9 with great selection of carbs, protein, fruit and drinks. Dining area was a bit small and crowded. King size bed and pillows were comfortable, bathroom had great lighting and very clean. In room fridge although set to a very warm temperature when we arrived cooled down and kept our items cold. Microwave worked. TV was quality and had HDMI ports we could plug our device into. I would surely return. Sam
When a water leak problem was reported, I was immediately moved to a different room, with many apologies for the inconvenience. Location was good. Weird road access around there, but very quiet. Breakfast was sufficient. Staff super nice.
I had a good stay. The property was clean, well kept, staff was friendly, they have a nice BBQ, nice full breakfast, and the price per night was not bad. I live a city away and came up for a graduation. I would stay here again.
This is a great property with great employees and a very fair price. We always stay here the night before leaving for an early flight the next morning out of Phoenix. The employees are always friendly, courteous, and informative.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience staying here. Will definitely be booking here again on my next trip! The room was very nice for the size it is and everything was really clean. Very nice staff as well!
This was a really nice hotel. We really enjoyed it, so close to eateries. We actally walked to Outback Steakhouse, one block. It was clean and the room was huge! Free breakfast couldn't have been better. All in all a very nice stay, will use it again.
I have stayed in many Best Western's over the last few years. Most are "Plus" this one is not but deserves to be. Nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. A bunch of HBO stations to watch. Nice Lobby with a lounge area. A nice hotel at a good price. I would stay there again without reservation.
The hotel was recently renovated and all of the finishes were new and clean. The rooms are laid out differently than a typical hotel room which made for a refreshing change from the boring routine of checking into a different version of the exact same hotel room that every hotel presents. The room was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. My room was on the first floor overlooking a drive in the parking lot and while I was awake, I heard every car that passed by my window. It was not enough to keep me up (I am a sound sleeper) but it was a bit annoying while I was awake. If you are a light sleeper, request an inside room or a higher floor. My room had a stink...I can't identify it definitively, but it was something like mothballs...it stunk. I survived, so it couldn't have been too for me but it was terrible to experience.
We planning this mini vacation trip, booked the 2 rooms at Best Western hotel, in the 2 weekend of April 2019, the weekend was very busy for the hotel was full, when we got in the room 3rd floor, I see something holding from the sealing, I was thinking probably was a electric cable, but then I see some crumbs in the microwave table, I leave a cup on night in the table, pointing in the direction of the thing in the sealing, so we don't did any complaints that night, We don't want everyone get fricked out, but in the morning the cup has 3 termites and the thing in the sealing was more longer, one termites was walking in the table close to the coffee maker, so when we let the guest desk worker, He apologize and said the manager is going to take care, the next day when we talked with the manager she said( I'm sorry we live in Arizona, Termites like it) ?? They really don't care, this bugs are very small, can go in your ears, your bags your stuff and carry on with your Clothes stray Home, THIS warning is for all, not only at this hotel but for all, you need to check your rooms when you get in, You never know what is hiding THERE. I thinking twice before leave this review,
Very nice facility. Modern and clean. Room was updated and the bed was super comfy. Great breakfast selection. Nice parking area and very easy access to the highway. The entire staff was pleasant, friendly and always smiling. Great place to stay.
The people at the desk were very helpful. The location makes it an easy walk to the Black Rock Conference Center. The room was big and the shower was great. One of the best parts is the free breakfast. They were open at 6 AM and the food was very good. It make the morning go so much better when i don't need to make a separate an extra stop or try and find a restaurant. I would stay her anytime.. They make your stay time in Phoenix
This hotel experience is a reminder of what is important in making a good lodging experience. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Sam on the front desk. That may have been the best part of the experience, although I will point out the other positive aspects of our visit. The entire facility is clean and in good condition showing very little sign of wear. All of the staff were friendly and seemed to be interested in taking care of their guests. Even though it seemed they were nearly 100% occupancy, our room was quiet and we were not disturbed by noisy guests. Overall it was a restful night. So where's the but? The fact is that a lack of design and planning expertise is the real problem. I will start with the bathroom's unimaginative layout, there's space in the room footprint for a real bathroom, but this isn't it. Then there's the fact that the shower is a tub with three smooth walls with no place to put any of the stuff you use in the shower. The vanity area is very narrow and has a similar lack of space. The standard hotel through the wall heating and cooling unit is so close to the bed that whoever sleeps on that side of the bed is going to be blasted by either hot or cold air every time the unit comes on. There is plenty of wall space to allow for a much more suitable unit location. Our visit was not a business trip, however many of our overnights are for business and the works pace in this room is nearly impossible. The desk work space is about half way between counter top height and desk height. It's too low for standing and too high for sitting. If you were planning to work at the desk you would need to bring your own chair. Overall the room design is not user friendly. Many hotels, this one included, have created an expectation that breakfast is included and is reasonably good, at least adequate to start your day. This breakfast experience doesn't even come close. First of all the breakfast space is so small anything over a 4-5% occupancy is going to overload it. So with an occupancy of nearly 100% it is a complete wipe out. Most guests gathered a few things and headed back to their room. Due to limited space food supplies were very limited. In summary the breakfast area is a complete failure. I can't think of any reason to recommend this hotel to anyone.
This hotel is so clean. The staff are so friendly. The pricing is unbeatable & the decor is super fancy. I have stayed here twice & would've stayed more times but you all were booked out completely. This is my favorite hotel, for my stay-cations.
This is a modern, well kept hotel with an elevator for those who can't do the stairs. Staff is very friendly and the free breakfast has lots of choices. Great pool area and a fitness center that even had an exercise ball.
I have been coming to Phoenix for work every week for over 2 months now. After my first trip I found this hotel since then I have gone no were else. It is a very nice hotel with nice amenities and staff. I would stay here on a personal trip in a second.
Stayed one night, March 17th, and everything was outstanding. Check-in was quick and easy, room was superior and extremely clean. Breakfast was super and the lady attendant was quite helpful. Much appreciated!
This hotel was top-notch in every way. All the staff were attentive to our needs. They offered a wonderful breakfast variety. The property, although near a major highway, was very quiet. It was also very clean and decorated in a mid-century modern decor that was current and pleasing. It was really a great experience.
We were traveling with our dog. This hotel is pet friendly and has limited pet friendly rooms that are very nice--our room was roomy, clean, with faux hardwood floors, table and chairs, and kitchenette. The hotel does not have any grassy areas, which would have been nice for our dog. Included hot/full breakfast was good, not great, but good and included scrambled eggs and meat (sausage or bacon on alternating days). Avoid rooms next to exit doors since they slam shut and are very loud and annoying at all hours of the day/night.
We stayed at this location due to my husband playing in a softball tournament at the Rose Mofford Sports Complex in the next block. The room we had was laid out oddly ... sort of in a "L" shape. After entering the room the space contained a sofa, coffee table, side table, chest of drawers with TV and refrigerator, and the A/C. There was no desk with chair to set up a laptop for work. The A/C blew towards the sofa and the exit door and did not keep the bedroom area cool at night. The bedroom was in the space 90 degrees from the A/C with an attached small bathroom. Next to the bedroom was a very small closet with accordion type doors and a sink with tiny counters. The tub/toilet area was behind a door next to the sink area. The door to the tub area and the door to the closet were constantly bumping each and you had to make sure each was closed before opening the other. The sink counters were so small it was to hold toiletries for 2 people. The handicap parking in the rear was far from the elevator in the front. I do not remember if there was a door switch to help open the heavy door for someone with mobility issues. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
The staff was accommodating and friendly. Our room was spacious enough and we had a small sofa and coffee table. The wi-fi was a little slow but was consistent. The breakfast was ok. It was quiet except for people by the pool talking late into the evening.
In the midst of everything seemingly going wrong, this hotel was an oasis. Staff was fantastic. Very clean and no stale odors. Super quiet even with Route 17 being so close. My only issue was it being on a one way road that made getting to it a bit more onerous. Would definitely come back!
Simply stated, this hotel gets an A+ for service, comfort, convenience, cleanliness, and breakfast. I have never stayed in a chain hotel that provided such an excellent breakfast included in the price. I would definitely stay here again when flying into Phoenix and heading north on holiday.
They threatened people of color to call the police and the room designated to black people have a people stumping all night from above. No sleep. The staff was rude and condescending. The tell people of color about a policy that is not written anywhere. And when you ask for it, they threaten to call the police even though you have paid for your stay. I have stayed in other best western hotels and I have never been treated like the way the BEST WESTERN NORTH PHOENIX have treated me
Stayed here for three nights while we went to some Spring Training games and it was perfect for us. Great location, quiet, as it sits back from the busy interstate. Very friendly staff and good breakfast too. The room was so spacious! We had two queens and it was much bigger than expected. For three adults, it was more than enough room. Close to shopping and restaurants and easy to get on the interstate. Would definitely stay here again.
This Best Western exceeded my expectations. Room was clean and modern, lovely clean pool and spa with nice quiet surrounds. The highlight would be one of the best breakfasts at this or any other chain .Well made and high quality items on breakfast bar!
Hotel was clean and a good central location to reach all of the ball parks and other attractions we were interested in. We will consider coming back to this hotel next year when we visit spring training in 2020.
The check in was quick and painless. I did use the online check in. The room was clean and well stocked. Decorations were minimalist but I don't mind that. Bed was comfortable and shower had pressure and hot water. Breakfast had several options - I would have liked less dry eggs and bacon would have been nice. Also more yogurt selections, but overall adequate. I don't give high marks for value when my sister booked a couple months before me and paid SIGNIFICANTLY less for same room. That stinks
Stayed at this hotel during a vacation to Phoenix. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The outdoor pool accommodations were some of the best ever! Furthermore, the complimentary breakfast had a variety of offerings and satisfied our appetites; delicious. Would recommend this hotel to Phoenix visitors - located outside of downtown so you don't feel wedged in the city but close enough for any excursions. The hotel is located close to some great hiking locations at North Mountain and Piestewa Peak!
Someone kept slamming a heavy door about every 10 to 15 minutes from 12 midnight until past 3 a.m. we could not get any sleep. We let someone know he tried helping but noises cobtinued. In the morning we let the front desk know she sais she would tell her manager to get at least a partial refund which never happened. And as a secondary but still cherry on top of the cake, we got up early to get breakfast the food was cold and out of stock in most items.
We stayed here for four nights. We arrived very late at night and the staff was extremely helpful. Our room was facing the back of the building and it was spacious, clean and the parking lot was well lit. Property is set back from the main highway and we found it very quiet. Complimentary breakfast. At least four restaurants within a 5 - 10 minute walk. A 20- 25 minute drive to Scottsdale, Barrett-Jackson show and Musical Instrument Museum. Great value.
The size of the room was nice and it was clean. The location is a little north not close to anything. The room had one trash can in the kitchenette area but non in the bathroom. We found out the next day that it was supposed to have one in the bathroom also but somehow someone forgot to put it. There was also a bad odor coming from the bathroom sink. We told the lady at the front desk and she asked us when we wanted someone to check on it, we told her to give us an hour before she sent someone. Not even 10 minutes later and while we were still in the room, a male employee just opened our room door without knocking. No apologies. He had come to fix the bad smell. After pouring bleach, the smell went away only to be back the next day. Breakfast was meh. The sausage was good but the eggs were terrible. They also need training in customer service. My husband went to ask the lady at the front desk a question. She was on the phone. He stood there right in front of her for about 5 minutes. She never acknowledged his presence and avoided eye contact. She continued her phone conversation. Lastly, the room was either cold or hot, no comfortable temperature.
We stayed here for one night. We arrived quite late in the evening and parking was available close to the entrance. There were really nice people greeting us on reception both for check-in and check-out. They were really quick and we didn't experience any waiting time. The receptionist who checked us in said he was about to call us as we were late arriving. We thought this was a nice gesture. Our room was very modern and felt brand new. We booked a king room with sofa bed. It was spacious with designated areas for the bed and sofa bed. We experienced slight road noise however it was not too bad as I slept very well and I am a light sleeper. The hotel is close to the freeway which we found very handy and one of the reasons we booked this hotel. The hotel had great breakfast options especially the most amazing waffle maker with syrup dispenser which was a Best Western model. Our breakfast was included with our room rate.
This hotel is very welcoming from the staff to the cleanliness and attention to detail. The hotel grounds are very secure with easy access to the 10. They make the checkin process very quick. The rooms are extremely clean and well taken care of. Each room has all the amenities you will need for a business trip or family vacation. There is a grill out back if you want to cook your own steak. The breakfast in the morning is great with a large selection. I will stay here each time I'm in the area.
I found the establishment very clean, roomy. I found all convience and accessible to comodedies and such...extra blankets or comforts was a call away. Plant of things to do...swimming...or the Gym and close by restaurants to enjoy.
Josh welcomed us at front desk from the check-in to our evening returns on 3-night stay. Staff here very nice. $100 deposit required was a shock as never before experienced and seems unnecessary as they had our credit card guarantee for reservation already. No freezer in accessible room refrigerator so had to store freezer pacs inconveniently for inflamed knee treatment in hotel freezer. Otherwise room was fine. Excellent breakfast!
Nice hotel in Phoenix areaConveniently locatedAwesome front deskGreat breakfastGood valueClose to lots of nice restaurantsHousekeeping needs to be more attentive in cleaning the bathroom and carpet.
Very Clean but the bathroom was cramped. Rather strange layout of the room. Looked like a lot of wasted space. No desk and chair so this particular room would not be good for business people. Perhaps other rooms would be more accommodating. The dresser top was filled with TV and coffee maker leaving little room to set anything out. Plus it was located in a rather dark space. There were two TV's in the room. We had two beds, a sofa, coffee table and lamp table. Between the two beds was a night stand. The grounds were very clean, The staff very friendly and helpful. It sits back from the road so it's Very quiet.
We went for a NFL football game. It's further from the stadium then we thought but the price was right. The room was big and the beds were comfy!! It's a little bit tough getting in and out of the parking lot because it's on a one way road. Staff was very nice and it was clean.
I stay one night a week. The staff especially Josh at the front desk are very friendly and accommodating. I had a a family emergency and I needed to stay an extra night, they were nearly sold out, yet Josh went above and beyond to find me a room. Rooms are newly refurnished, they are clean and comfortable.
The room was very clean and spacious. My daughter was getting married at a venue close by and the set up of the room was perfect for the occasion! The room was very modern and beautiful. Love our experience!
misinformation on when credit card would be charged, dirty hallways and elevator floors were stick during our whole stay. Had to ask for breakfast items to be refilled every morning while employees stood there talking
Traveled to Phoenix to participate with other family members in a walk for MS. We have stayed all over the area and while this was our first time at this Best Western, it won't be our last. Everything was convient and close by. Hotel was clean and maid service was prompt. Bed was comfortable.
Great hotel for a quick stay or a few days. Very clean, the staff was very attentive. All were very friendly. Great value, clean and comfortable. Very close to many great restaurants. Safe and modern. Rooms were large and updated.
My condo sold before my new home was finished. I needed affordable lodging for 12 nights in north Phoenix. While I tend to stay at BW Plus hotels, the value and location of this hotel sold me. Getting to the hotel is a little tricky, as it is located just off the one-way north-bound frontage road for I-17, just north of Dunlap (I confirmed that this is the sole entry point for the hotel). Just stay in the far right lane of the frontage road; the hotel will be on your right (east). The hotel is located within a mile of countless restaurants. Most are along Peoria Avenue, immediately north of Metrocenter Mall (once a showplace; now on a swift decline). There are also numerous restaurants on the frontage road, immediately north of the hotel. The hotel was spotless and updated. The front desk staff were pleasant and capable. Check-in/out were a breeze. An elevator ride took me to my third-floor room. Room 309 is north-facing, with a very nice view of palm trees and quiet corporate businesses. The room was very quiet, and included a mini-fridge, lots of desk space, a king-size bed, and a sitting area with a couch, The TV channel selections were great with approximately 8 HBO channels alone. The TV swivels easily to be viewable anywhere in the room. The room also had the best black-out shades I've every encountered. The spray of the shower head was very good. Of course Best Westerns are known for their free breakfasts, with waffles, mini-omelets, and either bacon or sausages. The dark roast coffee was very good. I took advantage of their small laundry room with two Maytag washers and two Maytag dryers. I spent about $4.75 in quarters (the front-loading machines only accept quarters), and was quite satisfied with the results. Best Western Wi-Fi access has improved greatly in the past year or so. My service never cut out. All in all, I'm glad that I stayed at this hotel. It is a great value for the price. I checked out this morning, and am already rueing going without waffles for breakfast in the morning. A shout-out to Josh on the night shift!
can't complain was tweaker free and in arizona that is a wonderful sight. breakfast was not bad bacin day is the best if only it was 6a-10a that time would be wonderful also the juice is off 10 mit ns before cut off
What a fabulous Best Western. This BW will win you over many times as it's great. It's slightly off the main highway but not too far. Parking lot is well lite and secure. The rooms are very clean and spacious. But then how they are organized is the bug winner. And what really was fabulous was the walk in shower. This BW I would consider to be very highly rated.
My friend booked our room and, when I saw the price, I wasn't expecting much. What a nice surprise the place was! Good reading light at the bed, plastic drinking glasses, super-clean, better than average breakfast buffet. My only quibble is that the entrance off of the frontage road is a little unclear if traffic is heavy.
Big room Has a fridge and microwave Clean Amazing comfy bed It is just off the highway but set back from the road so the rooms don't get the traffic noise even the ones at the front. Across the road is all the food you can imagine as well as a Walmart if you need anything. Breakfast was ok for free. Selection of eggs, bacon and savoury pastries.
I always stay at a Best Western when I can. They are always clean and the people always go out of their way to help. If I have any problems it is taken care of in a timely manner. I love their breakfast. They have a very good selection of food.
We stayed here for just 1 night but I would gladly stay again. The room was very spacious which was important for our family of 4 who had spent all day in the car together. Outside pool was chilly but there was also a hot tub to warm up. Breakfast was extensive & offered hot & cold items. Staff was refilling items constantly & were very responsive to requests. Fitness room was limited, only dumbbells & 3 cardio machines. But for our 1 night we didn't need it anyway. As others have stated, very convenient to Hwy 17 but it can be tricky to figure out how to get there from the southbound lanes the first time.
We spent almost 2 weeks in AZ for doctors visits. This was one of our favorite hotels to stay in. It has beautiful rooms and facility. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our room door not latching and they took care of it right away. It is in a great location. Close to food and activites. We really enjoyed our stay!
One of the best hotels we have stayed in! Top notch staff! Very clean. Up to date rooms and amenities. Breakfast was great with many choices. Hotel was conveniently located close to the freeway - no traffic noise. Lots of restaurants nearby.
This BW is very clean & quiet. Staff are very friendly & helpful. It's very modern and nicely decorated. It's near many restaurants, sit down and carry-out. It deserves a "10" rating. I highly recommend this BW. Excellent value for the money!
Nice and clean hotel. Helpful staff.Big parking lot. Easy to get in and out and close to a lot of restaurants. If you want to go to the amusement park the hotel is right across from it. You can not find a better price vs quality offer.
After a long road trip from Florida, my family and I were looking forward to a good night rest. We had stayed and BW's throughout our trip and so far our experiences were outstanding. Our BW North Phoenix Hotel stay and experience certainly met our expectations in terms of the new BW modern decor, friendly service. We made it to our final destination, Los Angeles CA. We are looking forward to our next BW stay - perhaps somewhere local for a weekend stay-cation. It certain was a nice surprise!
helpful desk clerks, easy check-in and check-out, breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. AC was super cold. Very easy access to the freeway. We'll be recommending to friends.
A reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable place to stay when in the area. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, good breakfast. Accessible to conference facilities in the area although a bit tricky to access via freeway frontage road.
Excellent hotel choice in the No. Phoenix area. Both times we have stayed there, the staff, facility and hotel location are great. Hotel is surrounded by numerous restaurants and pubs. Freeway close and close to sporting facilities. Highly recommend this hotel.
We are thrilled about our stay. Everything about the experience was amazing...the room, the decor, the breakfast, and the starecent ff. Our accessible room was perfectly laid out. Our room was better than most of my previous rooms at high end resort hotels. I can't wait to visit here again.
I travel to Phoenix weekly and generally bounce around at different hotels using the Southwest Airlines recommended locations to accumulate points. I don't spend much time at my hotels and primarily use them only for a place to sleep. This particular BW has been opened for just a few months and was a location where I was getting the most bang for the company buck and is in a perfect location for me to access our nearby commercial properties. Clean, quiet and cool, which was important being that the outside temp was a comfortable 118!
I don't know who gives this place such a high rating. Will never ever stay there again. Got in room stunk. Awful odor beds stunk of body oder Sheets mattress pad stinks. Slept or tried too air didn't work smelt like it was burning. Bed sagged on right side awful uncomfortable horrible. Front desk nice. Food. Awful eggs fake cold bacon like air so cheap brand coffee was good bread old stale. The tred mill was nice. Awful room awful bed after they changed sheets I had blood spots on supposed new ones how could a housekeeping not see that? Awful. Awful. Will never ever ever ever stay there again. And will tell everyone we know what we paid and how awful it was. Wrecked are whole family reunion.
Everything in the hotel is new, it must have gone under renovation not long ago. And it is kept very clean. We had everything we needed in our room. It was a pleasure to stay here. Hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. Very nice, large rooms.
We had booked a night here online but our airline canceled our flight so we could not make our reservation. I called the hotel and customer service but they advised they would not refund my money, give me a voucher or even switch to a different day. They said it was because I booked it online at a certain price, but isn't that what everyone does?! I'm very disappointed in Best Western and would urge everyone to stay away from them because they are not willing to work with you.
Stayed here for two nights in June 2018. This place is a little difficult to find as it's off the service road (frontage road I think is the term used here) and set back a bit. Good for road noise but iffy for navigation. Keep your eyes peeled. Checked in with Josh at the front desk who was super nice and ready to assist with anything and everything. Got a single room with king bed and sofa on the third floor. Room is very clean, bed is extremely comfortable. The layout is kind of weird though, you have the bed in the front of the room and the sofa in the back near the bathroom. It's not a downside, just not something I'm used to. Bathroom is okay, AC unit works wonderfully...a must in Phoenix in the summer. Amenities are good, theres an outdoor pool, gym, laundry, and complimentary breakfast from 6-9am with some pretty good offerings. Overall I'm very pleased with my stay here and would definitely stay here again. Keep this place on your radar if you're looking for a good hotel that's not right in the heart of city for a good price.
Normally I love BW but this one was not good. Staff refused to fill up empty breakfast kiosks and stood around eating when guests had not yet. The air conditioning in the room was loud and made it difficult to sleep and the hot tub didn't always work right. Will not stay here again.
We came to Phoenix for a graduation and stayed here for 2 nights. We had a small hiccup at checkin, (not the hotel's fault) and the GM was very accomodating. The rest of the staff we encountered throughout our stay were very friendly and personable, all seemed genuinely happy to be there. Room was larger than expected and very clean. We never heardany noise from other guests. Comfy beds, strong wifi, breakfast and a nice clean pool and hot tub. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in Phoenix.
North Phoenix Best Western is clean, pool is great. Ok breakfast was served. The location of this hotel is nice, not more then 15 minutes driving to get to where ever you need to go. Professional helpful staff
I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and the room was very nice. I didn't stay in the hotel much. But what lottli time I was there was great. Will definitely choose this hotel again if I need to stay in Phoenix again.
I used the hot tub, the computer area, and the breakfast room. I give this hotel a rating of 4 and half stars out of 5. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The pool and hot tub area is very clean.
Nice, newer property, very reasonable rate for the quality. Even though not a 'suite' the room had a couch and coffee table, desk, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, so the room did not feel small or cramped. Room was very clean, everything works, staff very friendly and helpful. Full breakfast. Whole property was very, very quiet, and set well back from I-17. I'll stay again if in the area.
I stayed there on a business trip on this property and it was a very comfortable stay. Customer service was excellent and breakfast was awesome. they went out of their way and helped my with my business needs. I highly recommend this place Dax
We needed a handicap accessible room, and I reserved 4 hotels in this area. My granddaughter who resides in Phoenix, checked out each hotel and reported on the rooms reserved in the hotels. She was allowed to enter the rooms, and reported on the accessibility to the shower. This BW hotel had the roll-in shower which I needed. We cancelled the other hotels and chose to stay here. Aside from the location, which was off on a frontage road, after the first time of finding it, it was fine. Our granddaughter warned us of the location, and so we were ready for finding it. It was quiet even though it was fairly close to a major highway. We enjoyed our stay.
Me and my bf stayed for a get away weekend and had a marvelous stay expirence. The front desk man was so polite welcoming and funny. the hotel itself was very clean. The gym had a nice selection of weights and cardio machines. The pool was well kept. The breakfast was very satisfying as well it had a nice variety from waffles n cereal to sausage and bacon and eggs. I am satisfied with my stay and the price I paid I would recommend to anyone!
Honestly loved this stay! Great staff and great price. The greatest thing was the location too, right next to all restaurants and stores. Loved the breakfast, gym and pool, really clean and just enjoyed it. Will definitely return to this location.
Very clean. Helpful staff. Hallway noise came through the walls. Easy to hear through the walls. Rooms are well set up. Plenty of space in rooms. Wonderful pool area. Nice options for breakfast. Will stay at another best western
This Best Western, being only open a month was the best we have stayed in. We have a small dog, really liked the all tile flooring (tile & simulated wood). should be much easier to keep clean and less chance of fleas hiding in carpet. Layout is nice and it sits back from the busy Interstate. Lots of places to eat within a couple of blocks.
Very clean and quite also in a great location. Friendly staff, nice pool. Comfortable bed. Great experience. Room size is perfect. Strong Wi-Fi connection. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and I will definitely be back.
We had a very nice quiet room in the hotel. The property is a new one and is clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very helpful in providing most effective ways to get to and from various ball parks in Glendale and Surprise and best routes considering traffic patterns.
First check in was 30 min (no line ,just slow employees that don't seems to know a lot) Room is nice and remodeled, but they won't refill your condiments you have to ask them every time also and the most important is the NOISE!! If you in the first floor forget about to sleep before 11pm- the people in the pool won't let you sleep, the pool should be close by 10pm but Managment don't care, even if you ask them to go to the pool and talk with people not to scream they won't do it. As a diamond member It felt useless to be a diamond in this hotel!
There was nothing over the top exciting about this stay. I was in town for work, and that was completely fine for me. The staff was polite and helpful. The pool area is basic, but still nice. Would stay again if work brings me back to Phoenix.
Nice place. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good enough. Laundry facilities and gym Room had kitchenette REALLY nice. Only problem is NO VISITORS AND YOU'RE ON CAMERA EVERY WHERE. Kinda creepy lol.So if you are looking for a quiet place to chill out ALONE. And not be able to visit the family you came to visit. Plus if you don't have transportation you're stuck.Nothing but your heels or a taxicab out. Otherwise very nice for price.
Went while hotel was undergoing renovations, which seemed well needed. But hotel was clean, staff was pleasant and communicated well with us about hours of renovations. Actually got a killer deal for the 3 nights we stayed there. Right across from Castles and Coasters. Tucked away with other hotels. Would stay again. Room was clean and air worked just fine.
