Our actual stay was good, but we forgot a six pack of drinks in the refrigerator and when we returned an hour later to get it, the head of housekeeping told me they drank it!!!! That is just inexcusable!!! They did refund my money for it, but basically it's free game if you forget anything!!
First of all the beds were the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel stay , and the Employees were Fantastic They were very welcoming this is the best stay we have ever had ANYWHERE !!! We travel alot and if I could take this Hotel with me were ever WE GO I MOST DEFINITELY WOULD !!!! And the Manager Carol Made it all happen THANK YOU !!
Pictures look better than in person, also don't know where people eat that rate this good, but it was like a retirement home; might be better in prison. Pool was closed not told that it was, also the reason for booking. My room was never cleaned in the 2 days, stains on the sheets. Tv has the most basic of direct tv guid is a channel no selection from this, tv also 15 years old. Elevator is on its last leg can hear it from the room key card also is changed several times in 2 days must use it to go up elevator but then won't let you in the room. Ice machine leaks and smells funny. The breakfast is not worth the buck, the gravy is hopefully out of a can or I think you should be concerned about your health. Most is undercooked when put out i microwaved my eggs for five minutes stirring and it was ok after that. Just undercooked food waffle mix and syrup are weird idk what is wrong with them.
Worst hotel i've stayed. The front desk lady was super rude checking us in. i asked her how her day was and “ID and Credit card”. The drains were clogged and room smelled… rotten. The whole building was also under construction, and mold everywhere.
The bed was very comfortable , and our room was clean and in a quiet location. The front desk staff was very nice. The hot Breakfast was exceptional: great variety. The elevators were fairly quick to respond. Great view from the top floor. We received a welcome package at check-in, and a bowl of fruit was at the front counter. Good experience.
Room was musty and thawing ice poured out of the refrigerator soaking up two towells. I reported & asked for clean towells and was promised a discount & room change. In the replacement room, we found peanuts under a bed. Pool area was family oriented with slides & childrens' play equipment but was not clean. We saw green mildew on the slides & floor.
It's hard to believe this hotel doesn't have more negative reviews. My family was supposed to stay there three nights and only lasted two - we were beyond ready to leave. It's located in a less than ideal part of town, had lots of traffic noise, and looked nothing like the pictures when we booked. The elevator was not in a working condition, almost every ice machine was broken, and there were tarps hanging all over the place. It looked very rundown and the pool was full every evening of non-guests who had been let in by the pool doors leading right to the outside. We've learned our lesson and will be staying somewhere else next time we visit Omaha.
Do not book a stay here. I booked a room for my family and our hotel room had mold everywhere. The ceiling was crumbling apart with a hole in it. The room smelled musty and the carpet was damp. The bedding was stained. There was no housekeeping during our stay and were advised to just put trash and dirty towels in the hallway. The pool was absolutely filthy with no ventilation or air flow. The stairs leading up to the kids slide were absolutely disgusting and looked like they have never been cleaned . I will add a picture of the stairs. There were fruit flies all over the area where the continental breakfast was being served. We ended our stay early and they refused to refund us or do anything. This hotels conditions were unsafe and neglectful on their part.
We tried hard to find something, ANYTHING, wrong with the motel and our stay. We could not. Super friendly and helpful desk staff. Motel was clean (shout out to staff for that!). Coffee and muffin for breakfast. Coffee was hot and muffin was fresh so all was good there. Everything worked fine. Bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. Great value for the price. Highly recommend this property.
On Aug. 2, 2024 I had to drive my granddaughter to Children's Hospital in Omaha late at night. Because of power outages caused by a recent storm, every hotel I tried was full at 1:30 AM. Someone suggested Best Western - Midwest Inn, so I drove out there. Vanessa, the night clerk, said they had no vacancies, but because of my situation, she called a guest who hadn't yet arrived at that hour. They confirmed that they didn't need the reservation, so Vanessa gave me their room at a discounted rate. I was able to check in at 2:30 AM, thanks to her willingness to go the extra mile for me. The room was clean, the shower was hot and the breakfast was OK. I couldn't have asked for more under the circumstances. I will recommend the hotel in the future.
This place is extremely run down! Looking back at the reviews from past months it looks like they have not done any sort of attempt to fix the issues. Elevator half working other one non functional. Rust, mold, and chipped paint all over in the pool area. Doors just left open for anyone to come and go did not feel secure at all. Our mattress had huge dips in them. Comforters were stained. Room did not seem clean. The pictures that are online are nothing what the place currently looks like. I felt like I got catfished.
This hotel was conveniently located off the highway which is super helpful if you're not from the area at all! It is pet friendly which was a big plus for me and my husband. I only stayed for one night but it was a good experience. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and kind, and the amenities worked. There were plenty of breakfast options and the food was good (not gourmet but a good start to your day). I would stay here again.
This is a super nice place! We came for our daughter's 2nd birthday and I wanted a pool that was kid oriented, THIS IS IT!!!! The deepest the pool goes is 3 foot, a small slide for little littles, a bigger slide for bigger kids (although my daughter loved it) some floating objects you can get on, and one of those water umbrellas that water runs down. There was some rust in the pool area, but nothing that would affect swimming, kids don't care much about that. There was also a hot tub. The pool walls, floors, and big slide seemed pretty scumy, but literally did not affect the water, or I didn't think so, I just chose not to think about it lol! The breakfast was ehh. But our room was very very clean. The beds (for me personally) were hard. Comfy pillows, a comfy chair in room, staff was VERY kind. I think that if they were to redo/repaint the pool surfaces, this place would be 100% stunning, but again, what kid looks at things like that. If you are looking for a kid oriented place, this is it!!!
This is a very clean and inviting property. There is nothing to not rave about and the breakfast was great. It is a little hard to find without GPS if you are not from the Omaha metro.
It is hard to find a hotel room that is good and doesn't exceed $200. Here, the price was fair. The pool was beyond our expectations with water slides, floating rafts, water fountain and jacuzzi. Breakfast was tasty!
Chose this motel because aquatic center seemed well suited for young children. Positives-breakfast was great even though staff began removing food before end of posted breakfast hours. Second room was clean. Aquatic center had shallow pool and working water slides. Negatives-first room had dripping water from ceiling. Aquatic center had significant peeling paint on walls and ceiling, heavy mold on stairs to large slide, plugged toilet. Check out staff was unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate request for 1/2 hour later check out. When checking out a few minutes before 12:00 she stated “you have one minute.” Coffee machine in lobby was out of most drink options.
Booking errors, nasty breakfast, fire alarm went off at 4 am, no water pressure, ac unit noise. This is not a place I would stay at again and I wouldnt recommend anyone stay.
Terrible. Do not stay at this hotel. The customer service is awful. The pool area is in complete disrepair. The door frames are shedding rust, like a snake loses its skin. Our room had a big wet spot on the floor. The A/C did not work well in the room. The curtains do not shut around the A/C unit. The day we arrived they were resurfacing. There were no signs put up by the hotel directing you where to go. We had to walk through where they were resurfacing to get into the lobby to check in. Our daughter's shoes got black tar on them. When we brought this to the general managers attention, she said she would have to call the construction company to see what they would do. After talking with customer service, who was helpful, they were still unable to do anything but document my complaint. I would not suggest staying at this Best Western or any others.
Waste of money. Not secure area, not secure property. Wry old and run down with minimal cosmetic repair attempts.
7 floor property with one halfhearted working elevator. The other one was completely out. Mattresses in need of replacement. Issue with toilet water constantly running. Front desk personnel very dry and uncaring. Breakfast was bland and allowed to run out. Only silver lining was the lead housekeeper, she was amazing!
It was the worst stay at a hotel I ever been at. The staff was not helpful and the elevators were broken down. The pool was a zoo!
We drove up from kansas city for a quick overnight. The pool is awesome for small kiddos! Very family friendly kids up to aprox 13 would have a good time in this pool! (It only goes uo to 3 ft deep) two fun slides and a awesome huge hot tub! The rooms were clean and had all kinds of amenities to include a microwave, hairdryer, luggage racks and bags and even a fridge with small freezer inside. Prices were great and lots of fast food and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was AMAZING! everything ti choose from from hot foods (eggs potatoes sausage and biscuts and Gravy ) to cold yogurt and cereal and even hard boiled eggs. Waffles made to order as well! Juice coffee and teas even meats and cheeses honestly best breakfast ive ever had at a hotel. We will 100% return. Pool is open till 11pm!!! Its perfect! 13 miles from the zoo. 10 miles ish from downtown
First room was musky, broken lamp. Second room drain wouldn't plug. Third room top sheet was stained. In all the rooms you can't close the curtains all the way or you'll block the air conditioner, which was a super problem on the first floor room that faces the main parking lot. I'll be staying away from Best Westerns.
The bed was so uncomfortable. Literally had two large sunken spots in the mattress. I brought it to the attention of the staff and they said they were at capacity and nothing they could do. The staff was incredibly rude. I called a week before our trip and was told to call the day before to see if my room could be placed near the other room we booked for our other family member. The day before I called the lady was so rude and said nothing can be promised and literally hung up on me. They were rude when we asked for more wristbands to use the pool but it was just for our family staying at the hotel and the lady was saying rudely how do I know you don't have others coming in to use your wristbands. We had to go get room keys multiple times because the keys wouldn't work. Extremely frustrating especially when coming back from the pool to get all the way upstairs to find you can't get into your room. The toilet kept running in room and needed to call the maintenance which they did promptly come to fix. We asked for towels and they said they would bring them, they never did, we called again and they still never brought them up so my husband went down to the front desk to get towels where the lady was rude as if he was bugging her. The pool which was one of the reasons we booked here for the kids needs a lot of work. Don't look up parts of the ceiling looked really rough shape. The ventilation in there was not good. The water was cloudy. The floor had areas that were not good or safe in my opinion. There were areas that looked green on the floor. It was also so hot in the room it was almost hard to breathe. Bathroom light flickered and my kid was terrified calling it the haunted bathroom. The breakfast was decent but the area was so packed they don't have enough seating for how busy it is. The lady that was cleaning in the breakfast area was probably the only nice staff there! She was so sweet with our kids and great at keeping the area clean.
I've stayed here before and it is a very nice hotel. Rooms have been updated and the lobby has a very modern feel to it. It is an older building but they seem to be keeping up with the times by updating it. Very reasonable pricing for the rooms. I will definately stay here again when passing through!
Very nice accommodations, 2 women at the front desk were very helpful with suggestions for dinner. Did not have breakfast there because we got on the road early to beat a storm, would stay there again if driving that way. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet.
Stayed 7 days. My room was sparkling clean. My colleagues arrived on the third day and one was displeased with her shower head and it was immediately replaced. We did have difficulty with housekeeping. We left our door tags requesting service and never received it. We notified the front desk and some were completed others were not. We escalated it to Carol, the manager and she made sure our concerns were addressed and we were satisfied. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean upon arrival. My King room had a bed, a recliner with a side table, a microwave, a refrigerator, a work station that slid out from another high table. It was great for my presentation. The breakfast was nice with plenty of options the eating area was kept clean and tidy The internet was unreliable. We would get kicked off frequently. I chose to turn off my wifi and just use data. The business center does have two computers, one printer, but I was unable to get the wifi to work so I could print from my personal lap top. The printer is only black and white and their are no business supplies. (pen, stapler, tape, paperclips, scissors) The front desk did accommodate my request fro scissors. They have a lot of safety features which I appreciate cameras, cards to access elevator and wrist bands for pool. Plenty of parking Location is great walked to several places. (Dollar general, Pancake house, restaurants.) Walmart Target Lowes Office Depot short 5 min drive. Traveling distance to and from Airport, Zoo, Luminere and Pedestrian Bridge was Smooth, Quick, little to No traffic. All and all it was the Best place to stay. We had other staying in other locations that were falsely advertised and they came and stayed with us or found other rooms. Be Aware this is a Dog Friendly Hotel. Which did not bother me at all they keep them on the first few floors. With that said others were unhappy and the HOTEL ACCOMMODATED them. So when booking you should request a non pet floor if that is what you need. My husband and I enjoyed the specialty coffee bar in the Hallway. Good coffee, expresso, lattes, and hot chocolate.
This was a work trip but I felt very welcomed and every evening enjoyed the pool! There were many families here but the pool area is big enough to accommodate everyone! The kitchen staff is amazing and keeps everything fully stocked at all times! The evening front desk shift is awesome and very friendly!
my friend and I always try to stay at BW first choice! This one was tops compared to the normal BW. So great management!
Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean beds comfortable . There was a great selection for breakfast. The food was hot. Loved that they also had a selection without onions in it. Pool was great for the kids.
Would have been better had housekeeping not woke me up 4 times by entering the room hours before checkout. Front desk was nice. Room was clean but got less than ideal rest thanks to the intrusive housekeeping and the same staff shouting while turning over rooms
Nice place to stay. Clean enough. Adequate breakfast. Nice pool area. Price was reasonable. Had to stay for medical appts. Beds are too high for older/mobility challenged persons. We thought feom photos we were getting an adjustable/hand shower but those must only be in handicap rooms? Room could use 2 chairs instead of 1 and a desk chair. The weather was a blizzard for 3 days so aside from medical appointments we were in motel room entire stay.
They are great for the extended travel/worker. I enjoyed the breakfast it started my day off, other hotels in Omaha didn't have breakfast even though they advertised they did. When I had questions they were very helpful.
Very friendly hotel. The staff greeted us with kindness. The beds were very comfortable, the hotel was clean and it has a nicehot tub and pool. And the breakfast had a variety to chose from. The hotel is within walking distance of convenience stores and resturants. There is even a bowling alley a block away. Will definately stay again.
We liked the availability of Restaurants and Quick Trip. The facility was comfortable and secure. (Elevator didn't lag.) Simple but varied breakfast available with two egg dishes and sausages as well as waffles (DIY). Close to interstate. Coming through town directly from south be forwarned to turn left at light before hotel and access from next back road. Very simple, but if you miss it, quite a detour to get back.
Our room was very clean. The bed was old and lumpy. Breakfast was free but okay to eat, no place sit because it was too busy and people sitting to long after finishing eating. Room was street facing and next to an elevator was very noisy and kept us up all night.
Room smelled so bad... musty, mildewy, and moldy smell. I had an immense headache when I woke up and my grandson was sneezing and had a runny nose when he woke up. Bed was a banana bed... one you "fell in" it was difficult to pull ourselves back out. Beware of breakfast... there were tiny brown bugs crawling on the bread and bagels. Very unappetizing so we walked away. Not a great place to stay if you're alone or with young kids.. I felt very unsafe with the homeless walking around.
My children loved staying here this weekend. The pool is definitely for younger children. The deepest the pool gets is 3ft. I really appreciated that this pool is shallow. I also really appreciate that the pool temperature was warmer. Staff was also friendly and helpful.
We stayd here for 2 nights. Upon checking front desk lady was very rude(also on the phone). I let it slide no problem she was probably busy and overwhelmed. Room only had 2 towels in it for a double queen, never got more even after asking. First night pool area was packed mostly kids and parents so not a big deal as my kids made friends right away and had fun. Second night completely different story, I personally watch 3 families leave as the pool was over run by adult men. I was told they are strict about if no wristband for pool you will be removed, well 7 grown men all over pool making it so little kids were unable to swim had no wristbands. I had my kids just swim by the side of the pool where shallow end is. My 12 year old was not happy. Biggest issue of all our second day upon returning from dinner we walked up to the entrance and literally had yo squeeze by 2 homeless people who had their belongings tossed around by the door. My kids got scared to walk past them I got them inside and just explained they are waiting for their car...well then after back for about an hour my k8ds are looking out the window and see the same 2 people hiding bags 8n the trash can area I noticed they were the same and they were acting very strange as if they were skittish. My children began screaming when they saw them fighting in the trash can area and the guy began choking the woman. My children began crying I tried to call front desk several times but my phone in the room didn't not work properly. We had an appt to be at so once I had time I mentioned it to desk staff who did check it out. Those 2 same people were inside the hotel numerous times as I had seen them previously in the day before the entrance incident. They were all over the parking lot and overall just made a little tension for us as we were not comfortable to knowing our car may get broke into as well as other guests. Overall hotel is good as we have stayed multiple times but I believe this was our last.
The number one reason to stay at this hotel is the courtesy of the staff! They are always friendly and are quick to help with anything. I stay at this hotel often and everytime I have stayed it has been a pleasant experience.
Our room smelled nice upon arrival. While the hotel was older, everything was well maintained and clean. Staff was kind and helpful. We'll definitely continue staying at Best Western as we continue our cross country road trip
Very impressed with our 3 night stay here. We have 2 young kids (5 and 7) and the pool was perfect for their age. Nice slides and only goes to 3ft. Very good, and HOT breakfast! Very nice staff. Close to the zoo, which is the primary reason for our trip. Would stay here again!
Hotel lobby and room was very clean and updated, staff accommodating, breakfast options good. The pool with kids' play equipment was the highlight of the stay. Thank you for maintaining a kid-friendly pool!
Great hotel overall - staff, rooms, breakfast were all great! For us, the downside was the pool. If you have kids over the age of 10, they will likely not enjoy this amenity as it is geared towards small children. That said, I would not consider it very safe for small children! It was very crowded when we were there, which made it also very loud. The slides and floats were an appropriate size for younger children, but the floats had too long of a leash underneath so they moved around more than they should. I saw one kid almost get mowed over by the raft float which would have made it impossible for him to surface for air! The round float's leash was tripped over by several kids as they were trying to get around. The hot tub was also full of kids so there was no way an adult looking to relax was going to have success. Only my 8yo utilized the pool area, the others gave up and went up to watch a movie.
The hotel was very easy to get to, right off L street. Was a good location for us, close to things my grandson wanted to do like Prehistoric Mini Golf, Amazing Pizza Machine and the baseball fields at Seymour Smith Complex. Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall is only minutes away. The pool was a disappointment. It is geared towards small children. Only one to three feet deep and very busy. We were there for 3 days and had no housekeeping service. If you wanted clean towels or trash removed, your were to place them in the hallways. Didn't look very appealing walking down the hallway. But, the room (201) was great! Clean, updated, quiet. The beds and pillows were amazing. The included breakfast was very good. Large dining area that was kept bussed and cleaned quickly.
Overall score would be a 9/10. The employees were all super friendly/helpful. The pool was clean and super fun for our littles. The pool only goes to 3 ft so keep that in mind. The only thing that we didn't like was the beds. They definitely need to get new beds. You couldn't even sit on the edge of the beds because the middle was super sunken in.
Noisy A/C and refrigerator so difficult to get any sleep, hard-to-follow cable guide (as in no accurate guide), little shower water pressure, and very clammy room. Left after one night of a scheduled five, which I never do. Very below standard of other good Best Westerns in which we have stayed.
The hotel was in great condition and the rooms looked like they had been recently renovated. The area around the hotel was a little sketchy with an abandoned hotel right next door. Security was very tight and you had to use your key card just to use the elevator! They also had one elevator out of order which was very inconvenient. The price for Saturday night was a little high and they charged me a $35 pet fee even though the flyer in the room said the pet fee was $20.
A decent breakfast, wonderful pool, and clean room. Went for my 6 year old birthday gift. But wish they let me know about the $250 deposit for being a person who living in metro. I bought on online line the the best western website.
Staff was not at all friendly upon check-in. There were maintenance issues with the room. Tried to use the fitness center, found it was being used as a junk room for old mattresses and chairs. Security badges on the exterior doors didn't work and doors were propped open so not secure at all. Pool area requires wristbands to be used.
This is a great value for the location and amenities. The kiddie pool was a huge hit with our 3 year old! The elevators were a little run down, but the guest rooms looked newly remodeled and we're exceptionally clean. The breakfast buffet was impressive and had a great variety. We accidentally left some of our son's medications in the room after we checked out, and the staff member we spoke with on the phone was so incredibly helpful and found his medications! Highly recommend!
Loved everything about this stay. The pool was so warm, hottub was really hot, beds were so comfortable and the pillows were to die for, didn't eat breakfast but I'm sure it was great. Staff was alright.
I realize this is an efficiency hotel but even so it misses the mark. Or, that was just one of the problems- lipstick marks on "new" towels along with stains on the bedspread. The mini fridge was worthless as we had to unplug it due to the terrible compressor noise. Unfinished/uncovered pipes through the ceiling/walls. Also, upon checking in I was charged $35 for my dog. I don't have a problem paying an additional fee for a pet, but I specifically looked at this hotel and found no such information on a surcharge- just that they were pet friendly. Also, upon checkout online there was no information on additional fees or selection of room with pet fee. I don't appreciate choosing one of their "better" rooms to only have to pay more for their lack of website/checkout usability.
Clean, super comfortable & affordable. Breakfast was top notch as well! Will definitely be doing mini family getaways there more often. Hotel staff was very accommodating. Pool was very clean, towels were always stocked.
This refreshed room was very clean and comfortable. They were doing some exterior work going on which meant the window was temporarily covered in plastic sheeting. There was a very good bed and pillows.
This hotel is newly remodeled. The rooms have all been redone. New beds and bedding. New carpets. Refrigerator and microwave in the rooms. The free breakfast is exceptional. Lots of choices, all fresh and good. Plenty of seating at breakfast. The only things that we were not impressed with were the pool and hot tub area. The hot tub was so hot that you could not even put your body in it. The pool area is not well ventilated. It is very hot, humid and there is a very strong smell of chlorine. It is so humid in there all the windows are fogged over, the bathrooms are dripping with moisture. The pool (waterpark) is small and for small kids, not adults. The little kids enjoy it, though.
This hotel has excellent management and staff. The place is very clean. The hot breakfast was good with a decent amount of choices for a B/W Plus. Keep up the good work. The pool was very loud but good sized.
We stayed the night before a zoo visit. We were able to check in by 2:30 pm and get to the pool by 3:00 pm. My nephew loved the water slides and the floating jump pads. He spent 3 hours swimming and was forced to leave the pool for dinner. Our rooms on the 7th floor were clean and looked newly renovated. I asked for rooms close by, and they gave us 714 & 715, which were close to the pool elevator. Breakfast highlights were the waffles and the yogurt dispenser. The rest of breakfast was typical for Best Western: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Cons of this hotel (None of which made our stay worse): The exercise room is under renovation (Which did not take away from our stay) 1 out of 2 rooms on the 7th floor had low water pressure (Since we stayed one night, it did not bother us) Some of the furniture looked worn(couches in the main area, footstools in rooms) (Did not take away from our stay) Elevators are out of date but still work.
Not worth the money. Trashy outside, poor food service, no room service , workout turned into storage area. This would be one of my last motel choices. The write ups and ads make the place look great, not the case.
We are best western rewards members, I often book directly through them. We travel with kids and a pet and expect a busy, robust hotel environment. This was a nightmare, a literal hell-hole. We had driven all day, and arrived late evening. booked two rooms, the worst one stank like a swamp, was literally damper than the outside rainy-air. There was no air-flow, tried to open a window but the screen was busted out, at ground level right by all the parking. It was horrible, the only redeeming item would have been the pool with play area, but it was under construction and that had not been mentioned anywhere when I booked it online. Front stafff was so scary i didn't complain for fear I would get a worse room
As a Diamond Club member: Entrance is filthy with cigarette butts strewn all over the ground. Staff not wearing masks as advertised. I was referred to breakfast area for hot water and teabag. No tea bags to be found. Area was absolutely filthy: sausage on the floor, countertops had breakfast crumbs everywhere(this was at 3:30 in the afternoon), swimming pool area was very, very uneven and slippery(dangerous for older people), room was for handicapped with no separate shower for elderly, ironing board hanging in the open in bathroom, lobby area very hot and uncomfortable. Franchise should be embarrassed. We were able to use rewards points, fortunately, otherwise the room was $168 plus fees/taxes. Thoroughly disgusting!
Pool area nice for young children. Adults consuming alcohol in the area. Door knob not working in one room. Curtains that cover the closet area very dirty. Poor water pressure in shower. Rooms wouldn't cool off even though air turned down. Breakfast area not kept up. Waffle machines didn't work or the pancake machine. Needed someone to keep this area up. Plenty of tables but couldn't use them after hours so no where for a family to eat if bringing in food. Couldn't get internet to work properly. I don't think I would stay here again.
The hotel is OK. Run down but clean. The tub in our room did not drain well. It took us 3 times for them to give us room keys that would unlock the door. Pool area is nice. However absolutely no beverages are allowed in the pool area, including water. This rule, as well as the rule of wearing wristbands, was enforced only with some people while others were allowed to have several beverages on a table and only a few of that group wore wrist bands. We noticed this discrepancy several times while we were at the pool and staff patrolled the area. Pool surface was rough. We all had abrasions on feet from the pool. Breakfast was decent.
Staff was welcoming & friendly. FREE parking. FREE WiFi. FREE breakfast. Comfy bed. Room had plenty of space for us and the three kids. What were supposed to be 2 queens beds ended up being more like 2 full size beds. Dated. Our carbon monoxide monitor plugged into the wall and did not stay plugged in. The air conditioner did not stay at a constant temperature. The pool was for kids and not adults. It did have 2 slides and many things for the kids to play with. At its deepest the pool was 2 feet deep. My rating is one of three stars.
Terrible experience, Bathroom water leak from the toilet that did not let us sleep, floor was dirty there was a feminine product behind the toilet, Plus when I checked in I said I have not had slept in 3 days and would like a quiet room but they book me in the room where a construction started at 7:30 in the morning right next to me. I asked if they can hold of the construction for at least 2 hours they said no no, then the construction ended at 11 No sleep for me. It just did not make sense to have the construction start that early, that's right around when people are starting to leave they should have started around that time or start in the afternoon. Front desk was not very helpful at all, the only good thing about it is the breakfast it's good as usual.
This hotel is at a great location, close to I-80, but set back from noise. Rooms are large. I require an accessible room with shower chair and shower wand. It was provided. Highlight of every stay is breakfast buffet. You will not walk away hungry. So much to choose from. variety of drinks i.e. coffee's, juices, tea. Price is right and for families: the indoor pool. Location about 10 mins from downtown.
The pool is no deeper than 3 feet and has 2 water slides! The continental breakfast was hot and the whole family loved it. We were near the Amazing Pizza Machine, so we decided it was a great place to stay for a couple days away from home.
Very clean and well taken care of hotel. Breakfast had a good variety of foods. The breakfast room was large enough that you didn't feel like you were always in someone else's way. Bathroom vanity was small and not a lot of room for 2 people.
Stayed in room #107. The air conditioner did not cool the room. The room would not cool off more than upper 70's. I had to go to retail store and purchase a fan in order to keep from sweating overnight both nights. Also, my son had been looking forward to using the hot tub, which was broke and not in service both days we were there. Overall, a disappointing experience with Best Western.
Actually getting a good buffet breakfast finally was a large part of my overall postivity on this hotel. Although it wasn't just the breakfast, it was the entire package. Keeping this hotel on my go-to place when in the area. Room was nice, clean, roomy with comfortable bed. Was very enjoyable after an 18 hour workday. Best Western Plus is turning into a keep on the list hotel chain after the great experiences we have had across the country.
I had doubts about staying at a property right off I-80 in Omaha but was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I am a solo traveler w/ pets and thought this was a great and family-friendly property where everything worked smoothly. Large and clean room, nice pool and hot tub. I would stay here again.
This was an amazing staycation!!! We all felt welcomed from the time we walked in!! All the staff was super friendly especially the lady that checked us in and gave me an awesome pool side room (very convenient with kiddos) and the breakfast attendant was so helpful and nice!! The room was beautiful and perfect for the baby to roam very clean and well put together Breakfast was beyond what I expected Thank you best western for the amazing visit we will most definitely be back!!!!!
My husband and I stayed here to break up our drive from Denver to Chicago as I am 30 weeks pregnant. We were traveling with our pet and needed to find a pet friendly hotel. The reviews from Tripadvisor, Google, etc. seemed like it would be a perfect fit for our quick stay and it was. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet, and the breakfast was great! Also, the location to 80 is perfect and there are plenty of restaurants near by food. Two things I would like to comment on though. 1. When we got to our floor there was someone smoking marijuana in their room and the hallway smelled like it. We had to go back to our car later on and the smell was gone. So, it was a one time occurrence, but it did happen. 2. When I called the hotel to confirm they are dog friendly, I was told that I had to book over the phone with them because of the $25 pet fee. I asked if I could book online where the rate was cheaper and add the $25 pet fee when I checked in and I was told no. On our return trip to Colorado, we stayed overnight at the Lincoln Best Western Plus and I called to make the reservation and was told that I should make my reservation online as it is cheaper than their over the phone rate and that pet fees can always be added at the hotel. So, I paid about $15 more for the nightly rate with taxes/fees due to what I was told over the phone that is not true. So, if you are booking and bringing your pet, book online and then add your dog at the hotel. It will save you money! I was also told by the Lincoln location to book online and just make a phone call saying you booked and are bringing your dog and they will make a note on our reservation to add the fee too. We would stay here again, but I am bummed about the rate difference!
The outside exterior was very clean and well maintained. The entry way was clean and we were greeted by friendly desk rep. They did not mention a continental breakfast, but there is one available every morning. We were on the top floor in a room with two queen beds. The room was very clean and open, lots of space, we didn't feel crowded like you do in some hotels. The bathroom shower/tub was very clean, no mold or broken caulking lining the tub. The shower head could have used some CLR because the spray was all over the place. The toilet sometimes ran and you had to hold the handle down to flush. The breakfast we had was good, but could of been a little better, the biscuits and gravy were not that great and the eggs were a little on the cold side, but the area was very clean and will maintained. The pool was heated to just the right temp and the hot tub was very warm and relaxing. The elevators were a little on the old side and one just made random stops and sometimes the doors would reopen before closing correctly and moving--nothing hazardous just annoying. All in all the stay was one of the better ones we have had and will definitely use this hotel again!
I really liked this hotel! It was quiet, clean, and the breakfast was good! My daughter had a blast in the pool. My only negative would be the front desk staff upon check in. She was a little snotty, and kept watching the security cameras instead of looking at me while talking. Otherwise the front desk staff was awesome! I would definitely stay here again.
We did not stay here on Sunday because our room was not ready when we arrived. (And this was after 4pm) We were told it might take a couple hours until we could get in so we said we needed to go somewhere else. The clerk at the front desk assured me we would get a refund. On Tuesday I received an email that said the hotel declined our refund request. I called the hotel today to inquire as to why and the clerk at the front desk hung up on me.
When we first drove up to the hotel , I was a bit leary. The exterior could use some updating but things take time :). The interior is very nice . We were on the 7 th floor - very quiet . the rooms are nice . After spending a few days on the road with hard water in all the hotels , it wasn't very nice to have good water and water pressure to feel clean again! The highlight was the breakfast! Wow , what a speed! And jason kept it all clean and full . He was an exceptional employer - very pleasant and you could tell took pride in his work. Waffles , fresh yogurt ( try it! ), eggs, potatoes , sausage , biscuits and gravy , a wide variety of baked goods ! Thanks ! Very pleasant stay.
Taking my brother to an appt in Omaha from Sioux Falls, we ended up making a last minute booking on our way down and they let us check in as soon as we arrived, not waiting until 3pm. We enjoyed our stay, and the beds were not rocks for a change!
Chose this hotel because it offered a pool/hot tub. 3' wading pool not my idea of fun, hot tub was scalding hot - not usable. Mold growing in pool area on walls and ceiling, no ventilation. Subpar breakfast, hot room.
Took our daughter to this hotel for a fun night before she becomes a big sister as I'm 35 weeks pregnant. Our room thermostat did not work and our room was a warm 81 degrees the entire time they did offer us fans, after leaving the pool went to take a shower to get the chlorine off us and there was no hot water and we were told the entire hotel had no hot water so needless to say my 3 year old refused to take a cold bath and then our fridge did not work as well and all our drinks we had brought were warm. We were told we would get a refund but have yet to see that. I understand sometimes things happen but the amount we paid was in my thoughts already pricy enough and then to have all the problems and staying for less then 24 hours I think a refund is in order.
The pool starts at an 8 inch depth and only goes up to about 3.5 which was the primary reason for us booking here and we were not disappointed with it! However there were a number of other things about our stay that were sub par such as an empty breakfast bar, broken coffee maker that couldn't be replaced and no warm coffee at the front desk, a cold shower on Friday morning, and a cold hot tub that left much to be desired.
AC didn't work so it was a sauna! Fire alarms went off (not the staffs fault) but we couldn't hear them unless right next to the door so we slept thru them. Thankfully it wasn't a real fire!! The bed was firm on the outside but had a huge dip in it which caused you to roll directly into the middle of the bed-which is okay if you're the only person in it but not so much when you are both rolling to the middle. Not comfortable at all. The food was delicious!
Stayed overnight for a family vacation. Staff were very fast and friendly. Completed the prearrival check in process prior to arriving and it only took a minute once we arrived to check in. Only complaint I would have is the linens were a little stained but overall it was a good experience. I would stay here again.
The day time staff was very rude when checking in. She kept asking her relief if she could take over so she could go home. We stayed in the jacuzzi room, which was nice, but there was black mold on the ceiling near the air conditioning vent, there was no extra toilet paper (we had to go ask the front desk), the rooms are not very sound proof. There was a patio outside our window and there were a bunch of kids running around and we could hear them screaming from the pool as well. There was hair from the previous people in the jacuzzi, it did not drain well, the sheets were dirty, and the mini fridge was broken. I was lucky enough to get the gov't rate, because I would have NOT spent full price for the quality. The night time staff was however very pleasant. She was kind and thanked us for our patience.
The Best Western Plus Midwest is the best deal for the money. It is safe, clean, comfortable, easy to find and offers the best breakfast available. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. There are many choices to stay but this Best Western is always our first choice.
The staff was accommodating, room was clean, bed very comfortable. There was a folded up bed in our hallway and another package the whole time we were there - probably should have been put away. The breakfast was very nice and a lot of wonderful selections! We would stay there again.
This is a VERY nice hotel!! MANY THANKS to Santos & Chandra for their kindness & help at check-in & during our stay!! The only complaint I have is that the hide-a-way couch in our suite room wasn't folded all the way back in, so we had to sit at a slant, it was late at night. We were in Room 408. But the room was very big, very clean & very comfortable!! It was the ONLY Best Western hotel along our trip that had decent lighting in both the room overhead lights AND the bathroom! A woman can NOT put on her make-up decently without proper lighting! Ha! Best Western needs to use full 100-watt bulbs in their lamps & light fixtures, and NOT the stupid cheap ones. We will definitely stay here again when going thru Omaha!!
We did encounter some problems upon arrival. However, I now know there is a place in the computer for your requests to be documented. If I'm told again there is no place for documentation I will now as to speak with the manager. I requested 1st floor pet friendly after some time that was accomplished. But due to air conditioning and internet problems we were moved to a very nice room. Carol and Michelle Thank You for your help and kindness in making this a restful and comfortable stay for us and our puppy.
Comfortable bed and very good breakfast (eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon and waffles) or this would have been a lower rating. The hotel room is plan dirty, even smells dirty. Our feet were dirty just walking barefoot on filthy carpet. Tile also not clean. The entire facility is run down and shows lack of maintenance.
We were given a dirty room at first, trash was full, beds weren't made and dirty laundry in the bathroom and the heat was on in the room. Our 2nd room wasn't much better. Our AC didn't work at all and it was 100 degrees outside so it was hot and humid ALL night in our room we were miserable. Our room phone didn't work for us to call front desk. We had to get a fan to get air flow in our room. The fridge/freezer leaked all over the carpet so it was all wet we had to keep a towel down. We had poor customer service at the front desk. All repairs were poorly done in our room. There was masking tape on the wall by the ceiling to hold up the trim or something. Carpets were poorly vacuumed and the hallway looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks because it was so dirty. Not a fun stay with 4 kids.
I stayed in a room with a non-working a/c. The front desk sent someone up to fix it but it wasn't fixed. They couldn't switch me to a different room because the hotel was booked so they gave me a box fan. It was not a good night's sleep for my family and me. I gave them two gift cards to redeem and they didn't do that, but charged the entire amount to my credit card. One elevator was broken. The ice machine on our floor was broken. One of the floating lilly pads in the pool was broken. We used to stay here all the time because the pool was good for the kiddos but they have not kept up this hotel. Sadly, we will not stay again.
Booked two rooms. The lobby was dirty and the area around the hotel was not great. The a/c obviously was not working well and a number of people were complaining. One of the rooms we were given keys to was either already occupied or not cleaned. We were given keys to another and the toilet ran all night and the a/c was set to 60 but barely working. This was the worst Best Western I have ever stayed in!
It was a quick check in an check out, the pool was great the kids loved it, the only down for us was the ac couldn't keep up with how many ppl where there so it wasn't very cool but we survived, Will definitely go back for any future visits to Omaha.
I didn't feel like it stood up to the standards of the Best Western Plus. The rooms had been redone but I just felt like it wasn't as nice as others especially at the price they charged. Restaurant next door is closed. Vacant properties to the back. Just not a nice area. Could expect the bad location if the price was less but I've stayed in much nicer Best Western Plus facilities for less money.
Nice, clean rooms. Appreciate being able to take our pet with us. This facility is just off I80 so easy access to get on our way in th morning. Front desk staff was very helpful and printed a copy of nearby restaurants and delivery services.
I am a local. We had a bad storm that left us with no power so we decided to stay here. Beautiful hotel. Clean & comfortable. The photos on their website are exactly what it looks like in person, no catfishing. The pool is very nice for the family, it goes up to 3ft deep and a nice hot tub. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is located next to the interstate with many food and shopping close by! We plan on staying again in the winter as a fun little get away!
We were in need of a room with a handicapped bathroom at 5pm on a Sunday night and Santos was wonderful booking a room for us. Mattresses are a little old but the room was very clean, quiet, and Chaylee on the desk at night was so helpful routing things for us to do on our way back to WI. I wish we could have stayed for their breakfast buffet but had to hit the road.
My son played a baseball tournament in omaha and our stay was much better than most of the team that stayed at a higher priced hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, breakfast was always fresh, the pool and work out rooms were clean and had clean towels that were always stocked. Great staff keep up the great work will stay here again.
There were many things about this stay subpar. If you plan to use the gym don't book this place. If you want friendly service don't book here. If all you care about is a place to rest your head and being close to things then you may want to consider it.
I read a few reviews talking about this place was clean, good location, etc. Then I read the one about how the staff was horrible. I decided that since I don't really interact with the staff much that cleanliness, price, and location was on the top of my list (like always) Well it just so happens that we were greeted by the friendliest of staff at the front desk. The lobby was full of people when we walked in,some checking in and some asking for extras for their room. There was only one lady at the desk but she was friendly to everyone. She was professional but joyful. Right before us a lady asked for an extra cot for the room, the front desk lady told her she would call maintenance and even told her where in the room he would be pushing it too. Then it was our turn but before she could help us she got a call. She answered it very friendly and it just happened to be nobody on the other end, she said it must have been a kid seeing what the phone was like in the room. Then it was our turn. The sweetie smiled at us and was just full of joy. Her personality matched her adorable rainbow glasses. VERY FRIENDLY! Then on the way up to our room we just happened to have the elevator stop on the floor the maintenance man was going to get on the elevator with the cot. He smiled and said he would wait. Both interactions with staff were friendly. Now the important stuff. The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was great, pillows were perfect for me. We didn't eat breakfast because the hotel was full and we didn't really want to be around a large crowds so I can't comment on that. Location was perfect for our needs. Overall we will stay again!
This really deserved to be a 4 or even 5 star review. The horribly rude staff costs a few stars. To explain: the room was comfortable and clean, and the pool was amazing for our two kiddos... but, the staff is awful. Well, the ONE lady who we dealt with all weekend was awful. First, let's talk about the good. The pool is 3 feet at it's DEEPEST, so it was sooooo nice to be able to sit in the hot tub and watch the kiddos (5 and 7) play. (They can swim, but not 100% yet. I would not trust them in a regular 5ft pool by themselves.) The pool is honestly why we chose this hotel. Our boys had an absolute blast. Tip: they give out a certain number of pool bracelets per room. They do not allow you to purchase extras (which the front desk lady rudely told us.) We didn't have enough bracelets for our whole group and so we asked some random people if we could have their extra bracelets, which they happily agreed. Nobody was there to even check the bracelets at the pool entrance though, so we probably didn't need to worry about it. The room was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable and the air was nice and cold. Now the bad... The lady at check-in was the only one working behind the desk and was on the phone when we arrived. She was super snarky with the person on the phone, who was clearly asking about online price vs their price. Once she got off the phone she let us know she was the only one working at the time. She rushed us through our check in - we had to ask HER about things like check out time, breakfast, where the pool is, etc. The next day, after visiting the zoo, we ordered pizza for us and the rest of our group. We asked if we could sit in the breakfast room to eat our pizza and again, same lady, very rudely said no. We had 4 kids eating on the floor in our small hotel room when there was a perfectly empty breakfast room. When we got back to our room on the second day, we discovered nothing had been cleaned. Our trash was overflowing and we had used all 4 bath towels the night before. When I called the front desk, she was rude again (surprise) and said that she gave us a paper at check in that said they aren't cleaning overnight rooms anymore because of Covid. That's fine, but 1) I didn't even read the paper she gave us, I thought it was a receipt or something, and 2) if you expect a family of 4 to be in a hotel room for two nights with no housekeeping, why in the world would you only supply them with two TINY, thin trash bags?? I feel so bad for the maid - we had so much trash! We tried to keep it all together of course but it was just overflowing. Also, she said in order to get clean towels for our shower that night, we had to BRING DOWN THE USED TOWELS to exchange them. I kid you not. To boot, the new towels were completely stringy - they looked like rags. Lastly, breakfast. We only had breakfast one of the two mornings we were there. But everything was empty. No eggs, no sausage, no chocolate milk, no yogurt, no bananas. Like, it's a holiday weekend - you didn't think to schedule more than one person to work the breakfast shift? There was one lady working super hard to try and keep up and she just couldn't do it. The front desk lady (different one - this one was nice!) was even helping deal with the dirty tables and overflowing trash cans in the breakfast area. We will never stay in this hotel again. Even the pool can't make us come back to deal with the complete lack of customer service.
The rooms were horribly decorated in dark colors depressing. The employees need to take customer service classes. The worst experience at a Best Western. Its also not worth the cost at all. The pool was nice ..
What a great deal. For $185 we got a very nice room, pool that was perfect for the kids and a family zoo pass with snack packs. The bbq restaurant that is attached was outstanding as well. Our overall experience was extremely exceptional.
I took my three young kiddos to Omaha and chose this hotel primarily for the pool. The pool was very warm and my young kids had a lot of fun. So that part was great. However, on the afternoon we were there, a strip of wallpaper let loose on the wall and fell down covering my son (while he was napping) and his pack n play in plaster and dust. I reported this and they had maintenance look at it and he determined we needed a new room so they gave us the next room over. They didn't offer help moving or a discount or anything. My cousin actually advocated for us that we should get a discount so then they ended up giving us $30 off the one night. The manager was not super friendly or accommodating. I much preferred to deal with the other worker as she was more sympathetic and friendly.
Do all Best Westerns have a mask policy in public areas that they do not enforce? For a lodging that says masks must be worn in the public areas, they certainly did not nor did they enforce this mandate. My daughter and I were very disappointed in the COVID safety precautions. The evening front desk person was wearing a mask, but one of the morning persons was not. A cleaning person also was not wearing a mask. The guests going to and from the pool and in the reception area were not wearing masks. I will not stay at this motel again as they do not comply with the COVID mandates, even though this is stated in their list of precautions.
The staff was beyond rude to us and not accommodating at all. We were told there was no time slots for swimming and when we got there we had to have slots and most were already taken so our family didn't get to go together. The front desk person was horrible. She belittled the other coworker.
We stayed here in order to have the kid area in the pool. Unfortunately only 35 were allowed in at a time of 2 hours per day. Well they let about 100 people in during our time which resulted in kids getting injured and no staff members monitoring anything. The AC in the hotel didn't work, so we had to open the windows. I called down for towels and was told the staff was to busy cleaning and I could come get it myself. As I went to get them, the front desk lady rudely slammed them on the table in front of me. Ugh I am beyond disgusted with this place and will never be back or recommend it.
Great room for a romantic getaway. I thought it was a bit pricey for the location but COVID doesn't leave much to do in town. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub, the room was big and comfortable. Breakfast is a banana, blueberry muffin and a granola bar. Pool area is small, I wouldn't recommend it if you're immunocompromised, they allow up to 48 people at a time. The parking lot is next to the rooms so you can hear people park outside your window. Aside from that, it was a great stay.
During our most recent stay we experienced nothing negative whatsoever. Check-in was quick and smooth, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, good shower, good wi-fi, and Covid-19 safety precautions were being adhered to. Also a safe location to stay.
This hotel has a great pool for the kids and the temp is perfect! The hot tub could be hotter but still felt alright. The breakfast came in a bag. It was banana or apple with a muffin. granola bar, and a bottle of water.
The front desk SUCKS. Dont waste your time here. No early check in, no late check out, and they don't care about your situation. Their Covid 19 breakfast is a small muffin, a gronola bar, apple, and a bottle of water. What you would expect to get in kindergarten for a snack. Kind of disrespectful to include breakfast in your price when you in reality get a paper bag filled with absolute trash. Our room was also not cleaned thoroughly... mystery brown streak on the wall in bathroom. Hair in our room. Nightmare. Theyll also start VACUUMING by your door at 9am so I hope you didn't want to sleep in.
After an initial disappointment with a situation, I left a negative review for this hotel. The manager, Carol, reached out to me with a solution to the problem. She followed through!!! This type of customer service is so rare today! Thank you Carol! This property is lucky to have you!
A terrible stale odor in the room was apparently being camouflaged by a deodorant spray. It made me sick. When we left to go for dinner and returned, it was just awful. We went to bed at 9pm. At midnight, I was awakened by a loud rushing water sound. I got up to check our bathroom. It kept running but it wasn't our room. It ran for maybe 10 minutes then stopped. Then I couldn't get back to sleep. Maddening!
Okay, so to be fair the room was okay. But, I left a brand new hardback book that I had just started reading. I asked for them to mail it to me. Sure, they connected me with the agency that does their mailings and they came back with a quote of $60. THIS IS INSANE!!!! I could re-buy this book 3 times for the amount of this shipping. I informed them that it is less than $10 to ship book rate through the US Post Office. They seemed to not care at all. Maybe, it is time to show some compassion!
Very nice, room was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Great location with easy access from Interstate 80. The Tired Texan BBQ restaurant is connected to the motel and they gave a discount on our meal because we were motel guests.
Check in was easy and quick. We had an issue the bed in our assigned room, for it sagged in the middle and we were given a different room right away. The coffee maker decided to give up and after reporting it to the desk a new maker was delivered. The rooms are large and comfortable, however the lighting could be better. With the virus issue the "brown bag" breakfast was just ok. A packaged pastry, apple, granola bar and a bottle of water It is a toss up as to whether or not to return or find other accommodation.
Their WiFi did not work at all. We had to call several times and it didn't get fixed till really late at night, by then it was like what the point. The room had its own thermostat but no matter what we put it on the room was blazing hot all night. When we told the front desk she said that the entire hotel is on a 2 pipe boiler system and they had it on heat so even if we had our room on cool it wouldn't blow out cool air which is ridiculous. It was very miserable
We stayed for the pool. Only got an hour in the pool and then the rude front desk lady kicked everyone out. Yes some people were drinking but they were at their own tables bothering no one. She could of just kicked those people out. No she closed the whole pool. Paid 150 to use the pool n didnt even get to. Plus they wouldnt give discount after the inconvenience. Beds were horrible. Been used alot. Comfort had something pink all over it. And the shower had no water pressure. We will never stay there again. Very disappointed. plus the front desk ladies were rude!
My family and i really enjoyed this hotel, the rooms were very nice and the breakfast was great. The pool did get a little crowded in the evening but during the day was great. I would highly recommend.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Very nice kid friendly pool. Clean facility. Only bad thing was a slow elevator, but we weren't in a hurry so that didn't matter. Hotel is easy to get to and is close to restaurants.
Wonderful place the restaurant connected to it has some really good local beers and amazing BBQ. Internet is good, you can stream, game, or work on it. The king suites are wonderful and offer the amenities required to comfortably work from the room.
We arrived late and were greeted by a very nice and cheerful person behind the desk. Our room was clean and nice. There was an issue with the sink in that it would not drain. The breakfast was very good and staff provided us with coffee for our thermos. We would definitely staff there again.
I loved the color scheme of my room! It made me like I was at a super fancy place. They were more than happy to allow my dog to stay at no extra fee (pet friendly places like this are hard to find). The bathroom had citrus scented products, which is another favorite of mine. The breakfast set up was beautiful, James did an excellent job with making sure that everything was stocked and clean. The manager on duty was also a really nice lady, was more than happy to say hi to my dog on our way back inside from a walk.
Nice clean comfortable rooms. Good breakfast and James was the nicest most personable hotel employee I've seen for years. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Omaha. The pool was fun and the location was easy to get to.
I stayed here on Thursday night in a handicapped room, #105. I haven't stayed in a BW for 20+ years and I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted very professionally and friendly. My room was available for check in at noon. Handicapped parking was right outside the door. Everyone from housekeeping to the manager was friendly and gracious. I did not experience the evening snacks but I did eat breakfast the next morning. I had oatmeal and milk, it was good and the area was kept clean. The only thing I did complain about was the mattresses and the shower chair in the shower, the manager said she would take care of it. Like in all hotels, the mattresses need to be flipped and/or rotated often, but they're not. The chair that was supplied for the shower was badly misused, so much that I could not use it, so I reported it the next morning. I'm glad I checked it out before I sat on it.
santos and carol and jerome are amazing the treat me very nice good friendly people i love staying at the best western kelly inn awsome service. when i stay at the hotel they treat me like i am at home i love staying at the best western kelly inn everyone is great
The property was well maintained and clean. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious!! Pool was perfect entertainment for our 7 year old and warm enough for our five month old. Only down side was the temperature in the room. being on the end near the stairs and elevator the room would not stay warm. We will definitely be back; just requesting a room in the middle of the floor :)
Everything you could want in a hotel. Friendly, helpful front desk service. Newly updated and nicely furnished and large rooms. Clean. VERY COMFORTABLE beds. Quiet. Easy access to I 80, only a block away. A full hot breakfast with many choices. Very reasonable pricing. We were happy we selected this hotel.
Room okay. Food and staff not great. The staff was an odd experience Bed was very comfortable Not a place to stay more than 2 nights. Especially if you plan to eat breakfast. Pool is very kid friendly, but the hotel seems business like more than family friendly
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. It is a pleasant, clean property. Aesthetically, it is nice as well. The rooms were clean and nice with everything you need for a quick stay. I wouls recomend this property.
Traveling to Colorado from Michigan, same day availability! Clean, bed was the best ever! Pet friendly, staff was kind and courteous. Customer service is back! BBQ just a few steps away with a discount for hotel patrons.
Can't say enough about this hotel....great clean room with very comfortable furnishings...very clean. Happy hour with unlimited free drinks and snacks. And the breakfast buffet...best I have ever seen on our travels. Friendly staff that make you feel welcome when you arrive...will stay again next year for sure!!
The pool is FILTHY! Algea was growing on the pool deck, there were things floating in the water, an eye hook in the bottom bruised my foot, a step of the ladder into the pool was broken. Staff were rude. Breakfast are was dirty with mediocre food, shower was broken, & ones (2 rooms) that worked had poor water pressure.
Staff at the main desk-- very helpful and always happy. Breakfast- GREAT and free coffee in the lobby! Also, great internet service. Everyone had a smile and were willing to help as needed. Love the decor at the hotel- very upscale and the carpet design in the hallways is very elegant and clean. Artwork in the rooms are actual artistic photos which are really neat !
Best Western has not always had a good reputation for Upgrades, Cleanliness and Appearance. But we Picked this hotel at the last minute because it was close to the interstate and had a great rate. We got in late and were extremely satisfied with the staff, who was very friendly, and the accommodations. We were on the road for 10 days straight with this being our last night before going home. We had stayed in five different hotels during this 10 days and I believe the mattress on the beds were the best we had slept on. Best Western is really improving the face of their brand by introducing Best Western Plus hotels. They also have a great rewards program. Thanks for a great nights stay. As long as Best Western don't jack the rates up this is a great value. We also had a very good breakfast the next morning.
Hotel was in a good location right off of I-80, but no highway noise in room. Gas station / car wash, bank right across the street. Attached restaurant "Tired Texan" had good BBQ Brisket, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent! Although I was not traveling with a dog this trip, I appreciated this nice hotel was dog friendly with plenty of green spaces. Check in /out was fast and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Water pressure in the shower could stand to be better but overall it was a great stay!
The hotel was clean, the front desk staff were wonderful, the breakfast options were endless, and the pool was warm and geared for all ages. I may be 55, but it was fun to go down a big slide and drop into the three foot water! Thank you for making such a great space for all.
Selected this motel since it was close to the freeway and a great price for a 3 star motel. The room was very nice and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had on the road. It was also close to several good restaurants.
This is the last night of a 14 day trip and this motel's breakfast area is one of the top two of the stays we had. It is an older property that has been remodeled and is still in decent condition. Easy to find off the highway. Purchased via Priceline express deal. The only negative for me was the extremely soft mattress. Otherwise a really good value.
Our kids love the pool! Always an awesome stay here!! The breakfast had a large variety of foods to choose from. The restaurant connected was really good! Our favorite motel to stay in when we visit the zoo!
I have been staying with Kelly Inn over the past 5yrs. Due to medical issues I travel to Omaha monthly. Carol is just like family and insures a great stay each time and last minute reservations. The amenities are terrific and the hotel is always welcoming and clean. Their customer service is a 10+
Check in was a breeze. Bed, pillows, linens were top shelf, no skimping here. Great location close to all we wanted. Right across from the best gas price stations too. Amber N. was so welcoming at breakfast. She kept the vast array of items clean and well stocked. One of the Best breakfasts I've had on my many travels.
The location is handy to what my trip is about. This is my go to place when I am in Omaha. The breakfast room has a wide variety of items to chose both hot and cold. Rooms are always clean and specious. ADA rooms fit my needs.
Had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for us and our dogs. They gave us a little treat bag for the dogs upon check-in. They have an restaurant attached and a free breakfast in the morning. Was honestly surprised at everything they offered. Several hot options, biscuits and gravy, two types of eggs, waffles, pancakes, sausage, and a bunch of muffins cereals, and breads etc. Will definitely stay here again!
Wow I can't begin to say how much I enjoyed our two night stay here! First impression walking in is nice and clean and homey. We met great families in the happy hour that's offered! Had a great time in the pool! Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Management was so welcoming and friendly! Breakfast was so great! Such a huge variety! Definitely will only stay here when in Omaha! Book this hotel now!
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn on a 2 day trip to the Omaha zoo - the rooms were clean and the staff were great! The pool was perfect for small kids with a top depth of 3 feet and fun slides into the pool! The included breakfast was awesome and we were able to enjoy complimentary drinks during the managers happy hour! It was about a 15 min drive from the zoo but it was a very easy drive. The BBQ joint connected to the hotel was also fantastic and if you show your key card from the hotel, your get a 10% discount off your food. Overall we were very happy with our stay!
We are pretty low maintenance - we don't get our room cleaned every day. But our must haves are: clean, safe, quiet, comfortable, a place we can both SIT and relax a few minutes before going to bed, a little fridge, coffee, minimal/no stairs. This place nailed all that! We usually travel with our dogs so appreciate that Best Western offers that. We enjoyed seeing pups checking in :) The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was right off the highway so we could get anywhere in the city quickly. Not the jazzy downtown location younger folks might like. But we found those places also costed more and either cost more for parking or had to park on the street. This BW had plenty of free parking. 100% would stay here again.
This stay was wonderful. The pool is awesome for children, especially small children, zero entry and is only 3' deep at the end. There are 2 small slides and floatie things to play on. The evening reception on weekdays is great. There are snacks and adult beverages and they are very generous! Our room was very nice and modern. It was quiet at night and we slept well. There are many restaurants in the area as well. We will definitely be back!!!
The good: room size, bed comfort, updated room/bath, reception hours, fun pool area, and great breakfast with many options. Opportunities for improvement: pool area was showing it's age, elevators were slow, stairs took you outside instead of into the lobby, and the pool got very crowded (some people seemed to think they were at a waterpark). The hotel gets an A for effort though.
Family vacation with hot food breakfasts. Kid recommended pool. Good sleep. Clean rooms. Close to the zoo. Gas station is QT and Buckeys. Does not have adjoining rooms. Noise level was good. Rooms were clean. Dies not have plug ins for just the wires though
My husband I stayed here for one night while during through on vacation. It was clean and a typical hotel. The staff was friendly and it was a good location right off the highway. Up the street is a little shopping area with a Walmart, Target and various other stores in case you need something. The hotel recommended eating at The Tired Texan BBQ restaurant, attached to the hotel. You get 10% off if you tell them you are from the hotel. Food was good and it was nice not having to look for a place to eat after driving all day. Breakfast was pretty good and offered hot and cold items. Would stay here again if ever in Omaha.
My family and I (3 kids ages 6, 4 & 1) had a great overnight stay here! Our room was a great size (King bed with a sofa couch). Everything appeared to be clean. The breakfast was great, a lot better than a lot of hotels we have stayed at! We loved the pool! With young kids it was great to have the 2 slides in the pool, they loved it and the hours of the pool were great beings we didn't check in until around 6pm and wanted to be gone before 11am the next morning. They were able to swim for awhile in the evening after we checked in and then for a while again in the morning before we checked out! Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay again!
Booked this hotel on the trip home for just a night to stay. Very outdated hotel. Room was ok but air did not work properly and beds felt damp due to the room being musty. Wouldn't stay here again. Manageable but not for the price of $170+ for one night.
We stayed for the kid friendly pool and the zoo package. Our room had pretzel crumbs on the floor, but other than that it was very nice and modern. We really liked the ceiling to floor windows and our kids really enjoyed the zoo goodie bags. The breakfast was great! Awesome variety and very tasty. However, the pool is very much meant for children and has a no drink or good sign, but adults were still walking around with drinks and were very obviously drunk. They were jumping on the children's floating toys and just making the environment unsafe for young kids to enjoy, my little guy kept getting splashed and almost knocked over by the intoxicated adults so were just left that area disappointed. A little more attention to cleanliness and a more watchful eye on the pool area would make this hotel a great destination for zoo going families. Overall a great value for the hotel and zoo package.
We ended up staying at this Best Western because we were in a bi of a crisis during our move from Minnesota. The manager took such good care of us and our two dogs while we were there for five nights. By that I mean that she checked in with us every time we saw her, which made us feel great. The rest of the staff was excellent. We loved our room and would stay there again for sure!
We stayed at this property for one night on a road trip from Denver to Wisconsin. Check-in was awful. We had driven over 500 miles from Denver. Got to the hotel. My husband has mobility issues--all of the handicapped spots were taken as were the other nearby spots. One of the handicapped spots had a car with flashing lights, but no sticker. It was hot and muggy. Entered the hotel and there was one clerk (5 in the afternoon) and 3 people ahead of us in line--3 slow people. Finally the manager came to assist the one clerk. When I pointed out the illegally parked vehicle, she did not really reply. When I complained about this on the Best Western survey, all I got was a generic response letter. We went down to the manager's reception--definitely a nice touch--they had beer and wine and water. Some soft drinks would have been nice. The woman who did the serving was super unfriendly. This is Nebraska --most service people are just naturally friendly. The room was fine. It was clean and looked like the pictures of it. No complaints. Everything would have been great if we never left the room. If this is the #11 hotel in Omaha, next time we'll stay in the burbs or Lincoln. I expect to get a canned response to this posting.
My wife and I decided to stay here on our trip to Omaha and this was a great place to stay. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. We got a great room at a fair price. The room itself was clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Omaha.
Photos online are true—recent updates are really nice. Super clean room and lobby. Jacob at night desk very friendly and helpful. Amazing hot breakfast bar included. Staff kept everything clean and stocked. I wish all hotels were like this! Easy access off interstate.
Couple with dog on a road trip...spent one night here while passing through Nebraska. Good location and not far from I-80. Had a fine stay...clean and quiet room, comfortable bed, adequate shower pressure, good A/C, and dog appreciated the pet-friendly policy. Staff was friendly, professional and efficient. Appreciated having the fridge and microwave in-room. Plenty of dining choices within a reasonable driving distance. We tried Cheddar's restaurant for the first time and totally enjoyed it. Would stay here again. Dog agrees.
My kiddos had a great time in the pool area. The hotel had a relaxing, quiet atmosphere with friendly staff. We will plan on staying here again. The location was also very accommodating as far as being able to visit everything we wanted in a timely manner (close HWY access.)
The need to stay here was because our a/c went out and we have 4 dogs. The price was perfect for us since we needed 2 rooms (we have a foster dog that is a little much for my senior dogs) so my girls stayed in 1 room with 2 queens and we stayed in a room with a king. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds and nice bedding. The rooms had blackout curtains and even though we were on the side with the busy street we didn't hear anything. We also talked to the staff at the front desk, who were all very nice, and everybody we passed in the hall had a smile and would say hello. The breakfast was awesome! They had eggs, potatoes, pancakes, sausage, waffles, danishes, cereal, and more. The first night we were there, they had a reception with appetizers, beer & wine. Hopefully we won't have this issue again, but I will recommend this hotel to anybody that needs a place at a great price, especially if they have animals.
The Best Western Plus Kelly Inn is the hotel that made me an "Always Stay at Best Western" customer. The hotel is excellent, priced right, love their location and breakfast! Everything is great, Thanks!
Not very clean. Bathroom door handle not installed properly. Flanges not attached. Door handle loose. Toilet paper holder barely attached to wall. Old feel to hotel. No new towels during stay. Didn't make bed during stay. The pool was awesome. Kids loved it. Too bad the rest of the hotel is not that great.
Over all hotel was good. Great beds but could improve on cleaning/dusting furniture. We were there for a baseball tournament and I didn't feel it was right to more than double the price of the rooms. The value would be worth it if the room was the regular price. Employees were friendly and accommodating.
Comfy beds, friendly staff, great food, clean clean clean! Great location. Nice pool, fun for kids. outdoor patio to visit, eat, and relax. you can watch the kids in the pool from the patio. Stairs were easy to find!
Fantastic hotel and friendly staff! Perfect pool area for toddlers and young children that was very clean along with the rest of the hotel. Wonderful breakfast and evening reception along with coffee available 24/7 were nice extra perks on top of the pool area which was the reason we booked for toddler granddaughter. She loved the pool and we loved all the other perks along with nice comfortable beds in Rm 303! We did not encounter one unfriendly staff, they all were quick to assist whenever we had a need or question. Vianca at the front desk and another gentleman I can't remember his name were great as was the maintenance man who fixed our air conditioning issue immediately. Great value for a wonderful hotel full of great staff!
Like always, wonderful customer service. House keeping is awesome. The front desk is on top of their game. General manager is wonderful. The Monday to Thursday snacks and adult beverages is awesome. This place is home away from home.
When in Omaha, I stay here if it's an over night trip. The breakfast area is large with plenty of tables. A wide choice of breakfast items are available. Best breakfast I've had in my travels. Seams like BW's across the country makes sure you are well fed before you check out. This location is the go to spot for families due to indoor pool, access to the interstate, Omaha attractions, great rooms, friendly staff. t Last item: very handicap friendly, from the close by parking to the rooms and shower.
The rooms we had were very clean, and the pool was awesome for younger kids. The breakfast was surprisingly good (given most hotel breakfasts!), and the attached restaurant had great BBQ. Would have like to have the ability to log into our Netflix on the TV, but that was fairly minor. Comfy beds, and not a lot of noise disturbance from other guests.
What an absolute hidden gem for families traveling to Omaha for the zoo. This hotel is so clean, friendly staff, hot breakfast, and the pool is perfect. The hot tub is hot, the pool is heated, and the slides and fun equipment add an amazing touch for kids to play with, without it being overwhelming like a waterpark. We will be staying here every time we are in Omaha, and recommend it highly!
We love to bring our granddaughter to this motel.......she loves the frog slide and the pool but had problems this time right from check in...............computer wouldn't work......waited 15 minutes for the group ahead of us to get checked in and I don't think the lady checking her in still knew if it was correct or not...…….pool area way to crowded...….counted almost 20 just in the hot tub...…….pool was over capacity...…….no dry towels...……...kids running down the halls after 11:00...…...then taking showers at 1:00...……..Breakfast area was packed...…….no tables to sit at...…….the food we had was good but a lot of the buffet pans were empty. Not sure we would return.
Want personal service with Excellence? Stay at this place and be there before 6PM. The Manager will make your family feel like royalty. It is like having a full service of employees at your fingertips.
It was a nice stay, worth driving across Omaha. Nice facilities... hot tub was awesome, perfect after a long day of driving. Beverages and fresh fruit available at the front desk. Bed was so comfy...the best! Front desk and other guest helpful during stay. Breakfast was good... lots of choices. Nice location...gas stations across the street from. Concern... I arrived but was unsure about staying due to the smell inside (lobby and room)...like a stuffy smell. It went away after I turned on the air. I shared it with front desk during check out, she was going to have maintenance check my room. Definitely recommend and would stay again.
Advertised as a business traveler, family friendly hotel. Rates would suggest a more upscale clientele however, the decor and maintenance of interior and exterior was lacking. Rooms were too dark with insufficient natural lighting. Dark carpeting and curtains to hide dirt?Shower wall was not clean. Rate with bed and sales tax was far too excessive for the quality of the stay and clientele.
This is an excellent place to stay for business with everything you need at your finger tips. Clean and friendly as well as pet friendly. Santos and Hailey at the front desk are super awesome and are always ready to help when asked.
The hote was clean and breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean and a great experience for young children. BUT the air didn't work, the room made a very loud rushing water sound all night and the staff didn't care or try to fix it. I just got the “what do you want me to do about it” attitude. Turns out it was the boiler system not turning off. It was very loud while trying to sleep (especially my kids) actually had to go to Walmart and buy a fan to drown it out so atleast there was a constant white noise. The water sound happened about every 2 min. Also my TV kept pixeling and cutting out.
The gal at the front desk was so kind and helpful! She got me checked in fast! She called up to our room about 30 min afterwards to make sure we were satisfied with our room. The pool was absolutely wonderful for our 8 an old 4 year old sons. It was so nice to be able to sit in the hot tub while I could clearly see them and know the deepest was 3 foot! They had so much fun! The breakfast offers many options! My favorite was the option to make a breakfast burrito! I highly recommend this hotel!
The swimming area was perfect for our kids under age 7. They had a lot of fun! The breakfast selection was also great! The restaurant on site is also very good. Overall good place to stay for a family friendly facility.
wanna say that i love the best western kelly inn santos and taylor and adrianne are amazing they treat me like i am home this is my second home i love it carol is an amzing gm i always come back breakfast is great.
We have stayed here twice, by choice. It's clean, staff is friendly, and the pool is perfect for our children. The rooms look like an upscale Chicago hotel. Free hot breakfast, and an attached BBQ restaurant. We choose to stay here for fun, not because we have to. Highly recommend!
Everyone I dealt with was professional, pleasant, courteous and just nice. Chylene and Amber were especially helpful. Highly recommend this facility to anyone travelling alone as it felt very safe and the staff is caring.
We stayed a couple of nights to celebrate our anniversary. It was an excellent trip overall. Chailey was the best staff we had the entire time. She was very personable. She truly cared about her job and helping her guests.
This hotel is so children friendly as well as being a tremendous value, the rooms are excellent and updated and staff so friendly and nice. We stopped for a night with our daughters family and spent time enjoying grandchildren. Wonderful hotel with great service! Perfect hotel for business or pleasure. I've stayed here in the past for business and continue to stay here on my trips to Omaha.
Our room was very nice. Looks like it was recently update. The pool is great for guests with children. We were surprised that breakfast was included. There was a large variety of options to choose from.
Great hotel. The pool/water play area is perfect for toddlers and little kids. Hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. I can't think of a negative thing to say. We will definitely stay here when we return to Omaha.
Just average. Satisfactory but not able to rate as excellent. Smokers stand was right next to the front door. A little unpleasant as several smokers were making clouds we had to walk through. Good breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. You must try to restaurant which serves Texas style BBQ. The beef was delicious.Upon our arrival, happy hour was going on and the beverages and snacks were quite satisfying. I'd recommend this hotel.
We only stayed one night while traveling through. The room was modern and clean. The staff was polite and courteous. The breakfast area is amazing, much better than most chains. Full breakfast options and beautiful seating area.
There were some things I really liked about this hotel. For one, the breakfast was quite good and because it was hosted in the hotel's restaurant, there was plenty of seating. The staff of the hotel was also quite friendly. The hotel has had what appear to be some recent updates, but I found the decor choices to be inconsistent. In the rooms, there is a lot of dark wood (or faux wood), which creates a rich, but sometimes gloomy aspect. The hallways and lobby have brighter colored furniture and carpets, but the patterns and styles seem very trendy; I imagine that some of these things will look quite dated in a few years. The room was not dirty, but not immaculate either. Some of the worse elements included pretty weak wi-fi and some places in the hotel that felt like they were in disrepair (e.g. the back staircase was scary in the way that it creaked when you walked up it). It's also worth noting that although the staff was friendly enough, I didn't always find them professional. I connected with a friend for dinner while in Omaha, and when she came to meet me in the lobby, the front desk clerk and a friend were busy gossiping and chatting. A few four letter words were used, personal details shared, etc. I don't care what people talk about in private, but I didn't think such a conversation was appropriate in front of a guest of the hotel.
We had a staycation with one overnight. I have driven by this hotel for almost 40 years and never believed the hotel was as nice and updated as I experienced. The decor is modern and upscale. There were ample choices for breakfast, and the pool was the best part. The pool probably is not great for families with older kids, but our kids, ages 11, 9 and 4 loved it. The max depth was 3', and the water was warm, which is rare for hotel pools. I would stay again.
I always stay at Best Western when I can. This one was a little different. The meet the manager from 5-7 I really enjoyed. The manager was friendly and greeted everyone. Most managers don't seem to engage much unless they are working the front desk. I really just felt like at home here. The pool had a good sized slide attached to the pool and I used it. It was lots of fun. If I ever have to stay in Omaha again I will be staying here. The hotel was older but very nice and clean.
Checked in at the desk by “Chasey”, who was friendly and welcoming. She helped me confirm a future reservation, and greeted me by name every time I passed through the lobby. My room was big, roomy, clean, and quiet. Pool was warm & hottub was relaxing. This is definitely going to be where I stay during future Omaha excursions.
This was my first time staying here and I was very impressed with the rooms. They were a nice size and the beds were very comfortable! We had a problem with the heat...the room was a bit warm and you couldn't adjust the heat. They apologized for it and explained it. All in all, it was a nice stay!
Hotel was exactly as advertised. Located near office I needed to go to. Had a BBQ restaurant attached to it that was pretty good. Also plenty of places to walk to for food and drinks. Local bar had live music on Wednesday and Thursday
Great location... Hotel is completely renovated and has many up to date features. Excellent staff dedicated to service. Staff quickly offered great suggestions for dinner at area restaurants. Very nice hotel. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel provided a well displayed breakfast.
This hotel is conveniently located off I-80. It's very clean and the staff is friendly. There is a BBQ restaurant attached so you don't have to drive to dinner and the morning breakfast served in the hotel makes it easy to get on the road in the morning.
One of the best Best Western stays I have had. Very clean spacious room and great room layout. Convenient to west Omaha restaurants and businesses. Would definitely stay at this facility again and highly recommend it.
Everything was clean and we had a lot of fun at the pool! The room was a nice size for the kids to play and the pool was great for our age of kids, 3 and 5. This will be our go to hotel when we go to the zoo each year!
Nice clean space friendly people helpful faces Smiles nice things said very all about good and general place good pool area nice breakfast good seating parking was nice and Vince was nice hallways or nice elevator was nice room was nice
I visit family and I love this hotel. Close to many activities and restaurants. The staff are the best and the rooms and common areas are top notch. The pool is great and the breakfast and happy hour are also a winner.
Stayed here while traveling through Omaha and I was very pleased. Breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. Close to downtown Omaha and the airport. I highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
We always stay here when we visit Omaha. Clean comfortable room and beds. Wonderful breakfast. Nicely updated decor. Good location close to interstate, restaurants, pharmacy. Not too far from the zoo and downtown attractions either.
This hotel was perfect for our little family getaway! The hotel pool was perfect for our son to play! Having that indoor set up for kids and families was great. The water temperature was a little toasty but her enjoyed playing! The Tired Texan attached to the hotel is wonderful! They only serve until they run out so don't get there too late! The ribs were great! It is great to have both amenities right there. We didn't even have to leave! My only complaint was the shower water pressure. It was lacking some but not terrible!
We loved this place! So comfortable. Rooms were quiet and the breakfast was great. The pool was very much enjoyed by my 7 year old son. We will definitely be coming back again! Even though the pool was great it may have even felt better if it hadn't been heated. Really warm in there.
This was a great hotel to stay at with our 18 month old while we were in town to visit the zoo. Hotel was clean, great choices for breakfast and the pool was perfect! The pool water was extra warm which made it so we could play for a much longer period of time.the hotel was located within 15 minutes of everything we wanted to do so great location. The only thing that could have been better is the fitness center, I went to get a quick run in, the equipment is quite old and the room got warm very quickly once I started running. I had to cut my run short because it was just too hot (it's also located right next to the pool which may co tribute to the fitness room temp). We would definitely stay there again.
I will start off by saying the breakfast was phenomenal! The amount of choices was great and everything my family and I tried was very good. The pool was great for very good for really little ones all the way up to preteen. My kids absolutely loved the slides and that the water was warm. The hot tub was really nice too. We did not use the workout room but I was improving by how many pieces of equipment were in it. The hotel itself looks nice and modern, however once we got in our room upon closer inspection, there was a hair in the sink that the cleaning people did not remove and there was what appeared to be a pubic hair on the tile on the floor in front of the sink. What grossed me out the most was the two dead bugs on the floor by the sink. If you like hard mattresses you are good to go but they were too hard for my liking. I'm fine with that though because it seems most hotel mattresses are quite firm.
The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and professional. She registered us and filled us in with breakfast details etc, When we got to our room, i opened the window to see our view, even though it was night time, only to see a wonderful display of fireworks which continued for 15 minutes. A nice welcome to Omaha! Hotel room very comfortable.
Nice and very clean, the staff was wounderful, I would stay there again and tell my family and friends about to his hotel, the location was was great for my places, located right off the interstate for travelers
Very nice room. love the color choice. Love how big the windows were we could see a lot. love the location only 12 mins to the zoo. A lot of attractions close by . There is a restaurant attach but it closes too early to be a hotel attach restaurant.
Very nice updated hotel. The pool was very inviting to my 6 year old. Not too much for the older kids here but still a nice place. We loved the breakfast and the proximity to the zoo. Very busy night the night we stayed and we were still greeted and taken care of.
Pros: clean room, nice decor, mini fridge and microwave in room. Easy access to freeway. Full breakfast available (food was mediocre). Cons: Slow elevator, indoor pool (very humid) geared specifically to small children, fitness room equipment in need of repair or replacement (treadmills didn't work). The worst part of our overnight stay was that someone pulled the fire alarm (around 7:30 am). We were on the top floor so we had to go down 7 flights of stairs only to be told it was a false alarm.
Quick stop on our way from WI to CA. Looking for pet friendly property--they were perfect! Even little treat baggies for our pup! Con: our room was near the pool and the chlorine odor was STRONG--even in our room.
Very pet friendly hotel. Clean, no animal smell that us humans can smell. Our floor seemed to have alot of dogs but we didn't hear any noises or barking. The staff is very friendly to ALL animals and humans too. We will stay here again if we get back to this area.
I would give a five star but upset. I hung up my kids swim suits in bathroom on hook. My two girls justice two pieces and trunks. I called hotel and told them I forgot the lady said they hadn't finished cleaning rooms and “if” they are found they will let me know. I was told to call back or leave number I chose to call back. When I called back they informed me that the house keeper didn't find anything. I know they were there be I hung them up to dry while my kids showered. There is 60$ down the drain for 2mo old items. Pretty sad. The front desk lady who checked me in was nice. The kids enjoyed pool area. The pool area had no towels. The room was ok but had what looked like black mold on vent in main room and floor board by window was coming off propped room chair by there so my two year old didn't get hurt on nails.
We stayed at the Best Western for 1 night. We chose this hotel because of the zoo package they offer. It was a great deal with all taxes included upfront. The rooms were nice. The toilet was not working properly, had to keep lifting the handle to keep it from running, that was my only complaint. The breakfast was amazing. A lot to offer which made it great especially for kids. The pool is a bit loud and too hot. You couldn't hear yourself talk but there was a patio attached to it that you could sit at. I would stay here again.
Our children five and ten played in the pool for a couple of hours. They loved this pool. There is a small frog slide, lily pads, and a medium size slide. It isn't real deep, but worked out good for our kids. They also have a small workout room and hot tub. Their morning breakfast also had a wide variety of foods. The room was very clean and the lady at the desk recommended a great eating place!
Delightfully surprised at the modern, spacious, comfortable rooms. Internet was usable. Pool has a couple slides and water features, not quite a baby pool, but definitely a children's oriented pool, depths 8'' to 3', so not much for laps. There is a shower in each restroom at the pool. Would go there again.
The hotel was extremely nice and the staff and the amenities offered were amazing. The front desk staff notice that we were from out of town and offered us a later check out time. The pool was very nice and kid friendly.
We are loyalty members and get points for our stay. The more you stay the more points you get and get rewards. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and internet was fast. We had a great experience. We plan on staying again on an additional trip.
We stayed quite a few days. It was a very nice remodeled hotel. Very busy. The breakfast was decent. They had cold cereal, oatmeal, pastries, bagels, sausage, scrambled eggs plain and with green peppers, onion and possibly sausage, tortillas, shredded cheese, pancakes, make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. The pool area was awesome for kids.
What a wonderful place to stay when visiting Omaha on Business or Pleasure...we loved the morning huge complimentary breakfast and Adrianne was so accommodating and super attentive. Kerri was the best hostess at the complimentary beer wine appetizers happy hour....Carol the manager helped us plan our trip to Mt Rushmore.. you dont want to stay anywhere else ever!
Breakfast was awesome! Pool area very ideal for young children, not as much fun for teens. Deepest water is 3 ft. Hotel rooms are about average size. Bathrooms could be updated. Hotel staff was friendly. Although the house keepers didn't speak much English
In sum, the BW Kelly Inn was a mediocre hotel for the room price we paid. The room was okay; the breakfast was pretty awful; the pool was fun for our three-year old daughter. I would not recommend the hotel and would only stay there again if desperate. Pros: Beds were comfortable (we were exhausted on the second night of a cross-country move); pool was fun for our three-year old daughter. Cons: Price was high; breakfast was pretty awful (I challenge the franchise executives to eat this low-quality breakfast spread for a week); room furnishings were okay, but low end of okay. We survived, not the worst hotel experience, far from the best.
We were on a road trip and made reservations day to day as we went along. We tried to use Best Western if they were available, since we have had good experiences with them in the past. This was a really nice stop. Very comfortable. Very nice people
My family enjoyed the perks of the pool with slides, continental breakfast, and happy hours beverages with horederves; however at the expense of cleanliness that is lacking. Our room had noticeable dust and a cobweb at the top of the bedside lamp. When looking to ensure we had gotten the toys we brought for my young children to play with, I was discusted to find old chips and other debri under the beds as well as other shocking finds around the room. An ok place on a budget for the extra amenities; but overall, not a place I would recommend.
This Best Western Plus is defiantly a plus! The manager works so hard to make everyone's stay great! She goes above and beyond! And so does all her Staff from front desk to housekeeping to kitchen to maintance! They are all great no complaints from our crew and we had 6 rooms for 2 weeks?? Thanks Best western for a great stay!
This was a very kid friendly hotel. My daughter loved the and the fact it was only 3ft deep and could go anywhere in the pool. I thought the chlorine was a little to strong though and couldn't stay in the water too long before our eyes started to hurt. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of options.
GREAT location. Extremely friendly staff. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Everything during my stay was spot on. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to all that are traveling through the area. I would definately stay again!!!
The hotel was fine. The room was clean, and the breakfast area was fairly clean. The breakfast was good. The location was fine, but next time we would stay in the Old Market area of Omaha for more restaurant, shopping, and fun opportunities. The zoo was incredible! We wanted to visit the Art Museum but ran out of time. Creighton U. was beautiful, especially St. John's Church. They offer Mass a few times a day. Bob the Bridge was also pretty and fun to visit. The Lewis and Clark Landing visitor center was interesting.
we stayed here while visiting the Omaha zoo! we have 3 small children so the pool was excellent for them! very friendly and helpful staff! the breakfast was great and of course who can complain about free beer and wine from 5-7!! I would highly recommend this hotel for a family with small children!
The room was nicely appointed and very clean. As I was traveling from Colorado to Illinois, I was also pleased to find an attached Texas BBQ restaurant (very good) and the location of nearby gas stations.
This was a nice place to stay while we traveled to Omaha for our visit to the Omaha Zoo. Breakfast was the very best. Other than the very busy traffic from the zoo to the hotel, our trip was great! The staff was very friendly!
Great location, easy to find. The gal at the front desk was so friendly, she let us know about the attached BBQ Restaurant , we decided to eat there, it was very yummy. We had a jetted tub and our room was very spacious. The only issue we had was the air wasn't working the best, kinda damp feel, forgot to tell the front desk so I guess it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall a very nice stay.
I was upgraded due to being a BW member. Got some goodies in a bag. Not sure if the room was maybe on a higher floor. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view of fireworks. The bed was extremely comfortable. I tried to freeze some water in the little freezer of the refrigerator, but it did not freeze, but it did get cold. The breakfast was really good and the gal taking care of it was very efficient! Emily checked us into the hotel and she tried to locate a restaurant for us, but July 4 made things difficult. I would stay here if we are ever in the area again.
Last minute change of plans brought us to the BW Kelly Inn. Comfortable queen beds, clean rooms, enjoyed the stay. Minutes away from the Omaha Zoo, which was our weekend destination. Although the pool water seemed a bit on the warm side, kids enjoyed it greatly. Be aware, deepest is 3 feet so great for younger children. Breakfast had a good variety, Saturday morning seemed short-staffed & running out of several items. Sunday morning was much better. Would stay here again if in Omaha.
To start off with, when I made reservation, I asked for 2 rooms close to each other. When I checked in the lady was rude. She said she had nothing close to each other. We had room 601 and 612. When we walked into our room #612, it smelled like a dead mouse. It was awful. Went back down to the lady who checked us in, she was mad cause we complained about the smell. She gave us a room on the 5th floor. The room smelled great and was clean. She never apologized and was about the worse receptionist we have ever encountered. The lady working the next morning when we checked out was friendly and kind. Breakfast was great, pool could use some updating, but the kids thought it was great.
We called a few days before wondering if they had rooms available for a Friday night during the College World Series and a 15u baseball tournament. They upgraded us to a fantastic room and let us use our points. They gave us extra wristbands so our grandkids could swim. The pool was awesome even though it was only 3 feet deep but it had 2 slides and a mushroom waterfall. The hotel was spotless and the rooms quiet even though it was filled with baseball teams. The breakfast was awesome! So very glad that we chose to stay here.
Treated very well. It was clean and well kept. Amenities were very good. Staff was very personable. Enjoyed the daily USA Today. Coffee always there. Fresh fruit each day was a nice touch. Easy access from route 80
The hotel was clean, room and beds were comfortable. great breakfast and good location and pet friendly. Would recommend to other people. The pool for the kids was nice and had a jacuzzi that look clean.
Great location & polite, friendly staff. Clean rooms. Lots of food & shopping choices nearby. Definitely need more help during breakfast - lots of families stay here (the pool is great for kids) but mornings are hectic during school vacation time and it's hard to clear tables & keep the food stocked properly
Great place to stay, great staff, breakfast, and location. Comfortable beds and very clean. Chayle, at the front desk is unbelievably helpful and friendly. If your looking for a good place to stay in the omaha area, this is the place.
Met up with kids and grandkids for a trip to the zoo, the hotel was clean, friendly, affortable, and the pool was excellent for the grandchildren! Beds were amazingly comfortable. Great visit& great night stay.
I stayed at this Hotel 6 months ago, had problems with the breakfast not being stocked so I thought I'd give it another try. Check-in went good the night before. I went down for breakfast noticed the biscuits were gone, the gravy was gone, and the oatmeal, ready made, was hard as a rock. There were no Donuts no muffins and hardly any bread. I let them know and the two of them made a minor effort to get stuff out. It took a half an hour to mix water and mix for the gravy ,they did not get the biscuits out before I left in that time frame or stock any of the bread. As I was leaving before breakfast was over, they were both out front smoking cigarettes and their uniform where guests are. Not professional. Please Best Western train your employees and if they don't want to work then please find new employees
My family stayed here during our weekend trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo and it was great! It was further from the zoo than I expected but the hotel is very nice! The rooms are clean! The beds are so comfortable! The pool area is perfect for children! The hotel has a really nice complimentary hot breakfast! There are several restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there again if I were to plan another trip with kids!
Decent hotel with good service. Attached restaurant was a plus. I do enjoy a good BBQ restaurant. I do not recommend coming during a holiday weekend as it was packed and hard to get breakfast. Rooms were clean and well arranged.
We stayed one night. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was pretty clean and my kids loved the pool. The beds were pretty comfortable and the rooms were clean. The only problem with breakfast is that the tables were filling up fast with all of the visitors.
The plus in this case would be the attached BBQ restaurant which was tasty and we appreciated not having to go search for a place to eat. And the complimentary breakfast was a step above some of the other hotels in its class. It's a very old hotel, but there have been cosmetic renovations to make it more modern. However, the furnace could not be regulated, they did offer me a blanket (which I gladly accepted) and even offered a space heater. That seems a little risky, and potentially far more expensive than upgrading the furnace. Another lady was requesting blankets at the same time, so it wasn't just our room that was freezing. The front elevator was out of order, but there was one back by the pool that was working--fortunately, since we were on the fifth floor. We had a lot of trouble logging into the internet and it was iffy at best. Unless you have lots of young kids and/or pets, you probably won't be comfortable here.
I booked this hotel for the third time this year. The professional staff, location ( next to I-80 but recessed enough to eliminate the noise), great breakfast in the morning are a few reasons I return. The room is large, clean with HDTV with a desk for lap tops.
We love staying here. Close to the malls and restaurants and great swimming for the kids! We like to stay at this motel due to location and amenities! It is close enough to all of the entertainment options in the Omaha area!
We really enjoyed our stay at their Best Western. Clean hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast, and most importantly a very warm pool!!! Perfect place for kids. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Omaha.
This Best Western's accommodations were outstanding. The staff was courteous, efficient, and friendly. The rooms were immaculate, with the amenities that are most helpful to travelers. We spent a restful night sleeping on such comfortable beds.
Initially the room had a musty odor. After some air conditioning (cooling), the room felt and smelled better. The beds were a little soft and lumpy. That was the disappointing part of the hotel stay. I was very pleased with the check in/out and courtesy provided to our group members. The breakfast offered each morning was the best I have had at any hotel. There was plenty of space to move about in the room. The roads in the area of the hotel need some attention.
I traveled to Omaha for a conference and stayed at the Best Western Kelly Inn. After long flights and waiting for a transfer in between, my travel companion and I were exhausted. When we opened the door to our room, we were delighted! The beds looked so comfortable, they were calling our names. The first thing we did was drop our luggage and tested them out! Our overall experience was great! Friendly staff, clean bathroom, clean linens, and clean carpets (except for under the bed, needed a vacuum. I'm hoping the housekeeper simply forgot.). Great value for the price point. We would stay here again!
If you want an indoor workout this fitness center will not be the place to go. The treadmills and bench press didn't work. The room was very warm for a workout and the other equipment barely works and is very dated.
The Best Western Plus chain of hotels is the best value for your money today! The service is always friendly and the Omaha facility is no exception. They were doing some construction but that did not alter the wonderful service and helpfulness of the staff!
Cleanliness and staff friendliness and service are the best! Our grandkids love the pool and the breakfast has everything one could want! Try them, you won't be disappointed! From the manager Carol to the front desk staff to housekeeping they make you feel at home. This is our home away from home when we are travelling:)
I have stayed in a lot of different hotels due to the nature of the work I do. I have to say that this is one of the best hotels I have had the privilege to stay at. The staff are friendly, professional and very courteous. All of the staff are wonderful people and always do their best to take care of everybody that walks through the doors. Santos and Kerry are the only names I can recall off the top of my head, however, every member of staff at this hotel deserves recognition for their excellent customer service. The rooms are always very clean, the housekeeping staff do an excellent job of maintaining the hotel. The pool/hot tub area are very well equipped for both children and adults and the fitness room is one of the better ones I have seen in a hotel. Overall I am delighted with my stay at this hotel and would 100% recommend it to anybody looking for a place to stay in the area.
We love this hotel overall. We have stayed here year after year with our kids. The pool has a max depth of 3 ft which means our 5 year old can walk the entire pool. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and the hotel is driving distance to shopping and restaurants. All good things. On our most recent visit we did have issue with elevators. One elevator was completely non functioning. The other had sporadic issues which did result in hiking up 5 flight of stairs and some door closing issues. The other issue we have is that every single time we stay here on a Saturday - there is a preteen birthday party and it always results in a rowdy pool area. There are too many kids for a small pool and they make it unsafe for smaller kids. I wouldn't be mentioning it if it didn't happen every single time we stay on a weekend. This most recent time appeared to be two separate parties with no less than 40 kids in a small pool. It was too much. Our smaller kids had a hard time keeping above water because the party kids were jumping over each other and going down the slide two at a time. We were hit in the face and head with pool toys repeatedly. We have loved the hotel in the past but I think I will think twice about staying on a weekend again.
Love It!!! Santos was the best!!! Very Clean Rooms!!! The pool and hot tub very kid freindly. the breakfastism amazing the ladies that work the kitchen are very friendly they are very helpful when i have a question they got the answer the food is nice and hot adariana is her name and santos and jasi and ambre they are great people. for the reception it is awsome the service is good the light snack is pretty good love the people best western Kelly inn is awesome to stay at.
Ended up here due to another hotels mistake. Found the friendliest and most helpful staff around. Aubrey at the front desk fielded all my questions and booked me in on 10 minutes notice while I was driving to the hotel. Entire staff was friendly and on point! Zoo package made the kids trip. I will be back and stay here again.
Very child friendly -I stayed with my 5 grandchildren ages 7-12. They had a great time in the pool and I did not have to worry about the "deep" end. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel with a large enough variety to please 5 kids! I will definitely stay again if I am down that way. Thank you so much for the great memories for us.
The pool was so much fun, and the water was nicely heated. The dark curtains in the room made for great sleeping for all 4 of us. The 12 o clock check out time gave us plenty of time to eat breakfast and get packed. The in-room amenities were great too.
Great place to stay with kids! The pool was great for kids all ages with 2 slides! The rooms are spacious and clean. Liked having a sink outside the bathroom. The breakfast had a lot of options. We will definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and nice. The beds could be replaced but they were ok. The pool was kid friendly. My grandsons enjoyed it a lot. Please paint the pool area.ans.clean the restroom in the pool area. Also do not have a electrical cord running in the bathroom on a wet floor. Breakfast was also a very good spot. We will stay again.
This hotel is perfect for anyone with small children. We are staying here for 3 nights and have had no complaints at all. The breakfast in the morning is AMAZING! Oatmeal, cereal, breads, biscuits and gravy, waffles with yummy toppings, sausages, scrambled eggs, omelets and more! They have a very awesome swimming pool that goes from 1ft-3ft and includes a couple lily pads and 2 water slides. Our little one has had a blast in the evenings swimming. Rooms are very clean, and everything looks to be remodeled. Workers come in and make bed up and change towels every day. Nothing bad to say about this hotel and attached is a yummy BBQ joint. You won't be disappointed at all here!
My family had our yearly get together this weekend at this hotel. They let us rent a meeting room for a very reasonable price and set us up in a convenient location. Because we had several rooms we were also given a reasonable rate. All of our rooms were near each other and even on the same floor! We were welcomed by a friendly warm person the minute we walked in and the great service continued all the way through check out! The free breakfast was beyond most free breakfasts offered and the food was hot and always being refilled. The pool area was spotless and our families spent many hours there. The person in charge of fresh towels worked hard to keep the wet towels empty and dry towels stocked. We will definitely be making more reservations at this Best Western!!!
Very clean and safe feeling environment. Has the cleanest hot tub and pool that I have been too. The only thing I would change is depth of pool that has the bigger water slide. The beds were very comfortable. They had a good variety for breakfast. Coffee wasn't too bad.
The facility appears to be very well cared for. We stayed one night. It was very quiet and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good. All staff who we dealt with were friendly. The parking area is well lit and all entrance is in the front door lobby area so it feels very safe and secure. I found the listing in our AAA Tour Book and it didn't identify in the description that they allow pets but when I called they did say pets were allowed which worked out good as we have a small dog
Clean hotel, nice rooms that appear to be recently renovated, great breakfast selections, clean breakfast area and plenty of room for seating, kids loved the pool area, staff was very friendly, a lot of restaurant options in the area. I would recommend again!
Stayed for 2 nights over Presidents Day. Front desk staff was welcoming, we had a quick and easy check in. Our room was very close to the lobby, and I worried about noise, but it ended up being very quiet. Room 105 was clean and updated. Breakfast in the morning was great. Food was warm and fresh. Staff was all very friendly. We love the idea of a water park, but with a 3 and 5 year old, large slides and deep pools is intimidating. This pool ranges from 8” to 3 feet deep. Slides were fun, hot tub was nice. We had the pool completely to ourselves most of our stay!! Only complaint: the bathroom could have used a couple more hooks for swimsuits/towels. Definitely would stay again!
It's great to have a hotel you can count on when you travel on a route several times a year. We know we can book a room here that is clean, has friendly staff, and our dog is welcome. She is eager to get in the door for her treat. The in-house restaurant is much appreciated after a long day of travel and the breakfast helps us get on our way in the morning.
We brought our grandkids to the Omaha Zoo and decided to stay here the night we arrived. The pool has about an 8” deep entry. There are also 2 stairs in the shallow end and a ladder in the deeper end (3 foot, I believe). There is a Lilly Pad and a Raft anchored in the shallow end. They have both the kiddie frog slide and a larger one that most young children can go down alone. The pool is small and just a few families and it's crowded. There are tables and chairs in the pool area. There were plenty of pool towels available. Not until we checked in did we find out the hot tub was not working. Sounds like it hasn't for some time. The room was large enough and had both a fridge and a microwave. The room was clean and the hotel was easy to find. The breakfast had both scrambled eggs and a Southwest scramble. There was potatoes and sausage as well as pancakes and muffins. Plenty of dairy products and coffee. They also had a waffle machine with several options for topping including Nutella, peanut butter and sugar free syrup. Very nice stay.
The staff at this hotel are second to none. From the front desk to the resturant, they all made our stay the best they could. We arrived after a long 10 hour drive from Winnipeg Canada. Check in was a breeze. There were complimentary drinks (beer and wine) along with a light snack from 5pm to 7pm and full breakfast in the morning. The room was well appointed and clean We will definitely come back here next time
We had a late Xmas with our family and planned to meet up here. We worked with Emily to set up the reservations and she did a great job. This place worked out great for the age of the grandchildren. The pool is very well set up for the younger kids. The rooms are very modern and clean. Breakfast was handy for family members to eat as they awoke. It's location was close to children's entertainment. We had a wonderful late Xmas there.
The room was spacious, sofa bed couch soft yet firm to lay on while watching TV. The bed was so comfortable, if I hadn't set my alarm for 9 am I would have slept until noon. The breakfast was the best I ever had. so many items to choose from. Hot and fresh. Front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. Next time I am in Omaha this is where I am staying. Location close to I-80 but you don't hear traffic.
I would definitely recommend staying here. I was traveling with my dog and they were very accommodating - no pet fee and treats for them when you check in. Room was very nice. Great hospitality hour and good breakfast
Great customer service, spacious clean room. Nice breakfast selection. I always look forward to staying. Wifi works great. Temperature adjustment in the room is excellent. All staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks!
My boyfriend and I were driving back from Christmas and stayed at the Best Western Plus in Omaha Nebraska and we were very impressed with this hotel! We had our little dog with us as well as 2 boys and the hotel was less than $100/night with no additional pet fee! The pool was closed unfortunately but the beds were super comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was really good!! I give this hotel 5 stars and I will continue to stay at Best Western Plus hotels due to the pet policy as I often travel with my furry friend!
We stopped here on our way to Denver, and I'm so glad we did! Upon check in, we received a little package of dog treats for our VIP- Very Important Pet. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and very well kept. The beds were comfortable- we slept like rocks! It was fun seeing all the other dogs staying at the hotel, I'm guessing word's got around on how great this place is because there were many fur babies around. All were well behaved. Breakfast was also super- much better than you can expect from a hotel breakfast. There were plenty of choices, even for picky eaters like my daughter. There was a yogurt bar, an oatmeal bar, hot breakfast items like bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pastries, the list goes on and on. The only downside was that there wasn't much as far as areas to walk the dog, but it was a chilly night so we just went for a quick pee and ran inside to warm up. The heater was also a little noisy but it was a nice background noise for falling asleep. Would recommend this place to anyone traveling with a pet- or even anyone traveling without a pet. We were very satisfied.
Very friendly greeting upon arrival. Quick check in was appreciated very much after a long day of travel. Enjoyed managers reception and then took kids to the fantastic pool area with hot tub, waterfall, floaties and slides! Rooms were spacious and comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and breakfast bar staff was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely stay here again!
Wouldn't stay anywhere else but BEST WESTERN. They have the best of everything. They go out of there way to make you stay feel just like home. The location are well located., Around other stuff to do & eat.
Myself and my wife stay here every time we are in Omaha. The rooms and staff are great . The hotel has easy access to major roads to get you where you need to be. Plus they will match thier on line price . The only thing I was a little disappointed in was I didn't get my normal upgrade ( gold member ). This is definitely not a deal breaker . We have stayed in many different rooms and all have been equally great . One thing I have noticed is there is very little turn over in key staff over the last 3 years I have stayed here . Which to me is great because it shows thier Determination , to making you feel at home .
We stayed at the hotel over Christmas weekend. The General Manager was excellent, however the remaining front desk staff was questionable. They appeared to care more about the construction crew straying at the hotel than professionalism. They would be out smoking with the gentlemen and profanity would be loud and intimidating. They would leave the front desk unattended for a long amount of time. The rooms at the hotel are very nice but the atmosphere we experienced could prevent us from returning.
The pool is super FUN with the slide. The room is very clean and the place is dog friendly. I travel through Omaha 4 times a year and we always stay at the Kelly Inn. Great place for a reasonable price.
I frequently stay at the BW Plus Kelly Inn. Their staff is top shelf and they always make me feel welcome. The property is in a good location, quiet despite the amount of traffic in the area with plenty of eating establishments close by. I'm always on my motorcycle when I stay there and I have no concerns about its security when there.
I stay here at least every other week. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are clean and well prepared and the breakfast is a great way to start the day. For business travel, this is the best value I have found.
We called this hotel on a Sunday morning looking to see if they would have a Jacuzzi suite that night available as we would be driving all day. They did have 2 available. The location wasn't very convenient (for us traveling on I29) but we really didn't do anything else in Omaha to compare it to other hotels locations. The room was clean which goes a long way with me. Appreciated the complimentary snacks. Breakfast was good. All in all it was a good stay although with taxes it was $170+ for a suite on a Sunday night. I think if I had taken the time to call around I could have found a more affordable option.
We travel from Colorado to Illinois several times a year and the Kelly Inn is the best place to stay. Easy off and on the highway. They welcome our dogs at no extra charge. The decor is fresh and the hotel is always clean. And now they provide a hot breakfast free. What more could you ask.
Great hotel, comfortable rooms and fantastic staff. I travel often and this hotel is indeed an oasis in Omaha! Excellent breakfast and cocktail hour in the evening. Carol and Kerrie are amazing as are the rest of the crew.
My family (a group of ~25) gathered at the Kelly Inn for a Thanksgiving Family Reunion. The hotel rooms were wonderful, clean and very comfortable. We were located mainly on the 7th floor, and had access to the Cornhusker Room (which is also on the 7th floor) which we had use of Wednsday-Saturday. This made for a perfect setup for our family, a wonderful space for our big gatherings. The pool is designed for younger kids, and our little ones certainly enjoyed it. The staff were wonderful and accomdating. Breakfasts were fantastic, I can't remember the name of the lady in charge, but she was so sweet. Kerri and Emily were two of the ladies at the front desk who were always so helpful. The only complaint were from a few people who had a bit of trouble with temperature control in there rooms, but said it wasn't that big of a deal. The work out room is a bit to humid and hot to actually work out in, otherwise, no complaints. Thank you to the Kelly Inn for making our holiday gathering wonderful!
The staff is wonderful and it is a very clean updated hotel with a very fair price. It is in a great location in Omaha, close to the Interstates, Malls, Restaurants and Work. I will definitely stay there when I come back to Omaha.
I would have loved to stay longer but this was a turn around trip. I drove over 900 miles and needed a nice place to sleep. This is the Best! I had never been to Nebraska and finding a BW close to the place I was going was great!
We arrived with our 5 mo old pup in the middle of America with no expectations! After an 8 hour drive from Chicago we were greeted by Emily at the desk who welcomed us to the hotel where accommodations included a happy hour with high shelf wines and beers and very substantial munchies. Our diet restrictions were even considered! We look forward to a full breakfast tomorrow before we continue our journey to Colorado. Thanks to Best Western and their wonderful staff for providing us a respite during our cross country trip!
The hotel was easy to get to - clean, takes dogs, accomodating for our large group. The mattress was a little soft but the rooms were nice size. Our family used the conference room and it was very nice.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool was warm and the kids loved it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the temperature in our room. It was very warm and we couldn't get it to cool down even with the AC on. We will definitely stay there again on our next road trip.
The location was very nice and quiet. The evening had a cocktail hour and could have had a more better selection of food and drinks. When you have people that don't drink then what are you to do. Also could have had a more selection of breakfast items also. Overall it was good.
Booked a Zoo package directly through the hotel. Arrived early and was able to check in. Easy check in and great customer service. Property was clean and has great indoor pool area with kid slides. Two queen beds on fourth floor. Room was nicely renovated with flat screen TV, microwave and fridge. Very comfy beds and pillows. Room was smaller. Hallways still older Decor and doesn't match room. We will definitely stay here again based on proximity to zoo, accommodations and pool.
The noise level on the 1st floor was very loud. We were placed near the walkway to the fitness and swimming area so there was constantly noise. Which I know the hotel can not control. Housekeeping was a nuisance. They would just barge into the room on the day of check out. They would not knock or give us notice they were wanting in to clean. They would just come in. A friendly knock would have been nice. Once my husband was getting dressed and the housekeeper came in. How about a knock first and a friendly- Housekeeping call out- We felt rushed like they were trying to hurry us out of there. It was my understanding that check out was 12:00 pm so please don't rush us and knock beforehand. I heard others complaining who stayed there also about this issue. The room was clean, the front desk ladies were friendly, the pool is very kid friendly and they serve a decent breakfast.
Really nice facility.Great breakfast ( extremely varied). Very comfortable bedding. It was a very good deal at a special rate of $100/night.Fast,convenient freeway access for the Zoo and Art Museum which were about 12 miles/20 minutes away. However the wireless connection on the 7th floor was problematical. My wife could not access the hotel wireless,.My cellphone the times I tried succeeded less than 30% of the time,so I was forced to use my data plan, which is annoying in this day. . My laptop seemed to get booted off after 50 minutes or so of low useage (reading the news, checking mail.etc. No video or music streaming,or large downloads. ) Ironically running "speednet"on it,showed a good speed (about 4-6 MB}, and my laptop/phone showed 5 bars when I actually managed to connect. It was possible to connect to the hotel wireless, only to get a "No Internet Connection", and "No IP address notifications".I am tech savvy and heavily traveled enough to know that this situation is not normal for other BW Plus hotels. Also -remember NE collects a total of 17.5% sales and occupancy tax-which really impacts a multi-day stay. Otherwise a pleasant 3-day stay.
Great place for families to stay.. kids love the pool and and the breakfast is nice and so convenient. We have stayed here every year for 6 years with our family. This year there were 19 of us staying in four rooms.
It was perfect. We purchased 2 rooms with the Henry Doorly Zoo package. The tickets and snack packs were ready when we arrived, the rooms were clean and comfortable, our grandchildren were absolutely thrilled with the swimming pool. Needless to say, we all slept well at the Kelly Inn!
I honestly picked this hotel for the pool since I was traveling with three kids under 9. It's only 1-3ft deep with a few slides. Perfect for my 3 year old. The room was clean, nice and comfortable. No complaints Breakfast was good with variety.
Getting here with current construction around was challenging but worth it. Safe neighborhood. Quiet on the 5th floor. Large kiddie pool with 3 feet maximum depth. Good hot breakfast with the usual but I had bacon, southwestern eggs, hash brown squares today. My wife made waffles but they had ready-made pancakes. Room was classy and bathroom was spacious. The washbasin area was a little small. We set the temperature to comfortable 70 degrees and the beds were soft and extremely comfortable. TV had lots of channels. The exercise room was small but adequate. Machines old and rusty but functional. Knee extension/flexion machine and bench press/incline press were the only weights. I did the elliptical but heart monitor not working. 2 treadmills and 1 recumbent bike. The Culligan could use more water
hotel very clean overall - services good - staff knowledgeable of area - rooms were please, but noisy during the daylight hours. very restful after bed time. breakfast area large and roomy with a good breakfast choice.
Very clean rooms and everyone was very thoughtful and nice. The breakfast was tasty and the employees in the breakfast room were very polite and helpful. The bed had lots of pillows to choose from which made sleeping very easy. Comfy bed too.
Both my parents room and ours were full of ants; our toilet flooded our room; fridge smell like something was rotting. Was offered no discount, and had to change rooms. Staff did not apologize for troubles.
Close to the interstate, comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. Highly recommend when visiting the Omaha area. Felt very safe. Staff is helpful, friendly, professional and caring. Bed was a dream. Service is impeccable.
The hotel is conveniently located near the interstate, very friendly, caring and helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and very clean. The bed was a "dream" come true. Recommend this hotel to single travelers and families as well.
Rooms were very nice with updated decor. Kids had a blast in the pool - goes to 4 foot which was perfect for our kids. Amazing breakfast in the morning as well. We did the zoo package which includes tickets to the Omaha Zoo so the price was very reasonable as well.
I travel to Omaha for business frequently and always choose Bwko as my hotel. The staff is excellent from the day crew of Emily, Aubrey, and Carrie, to the night crew of Celeste and Chaylie. James and Jerome, the maintenance team, are great as well. This staff strives to Make Hotels Great Again, all without Russian interference. The hotel even has a happy hour M-thurs from 5-7 which includes snacks and free beer! The rooms are always clean and the wifi works very well. I enjoy staying here and wish the hotels I frequent in other towns were as nice as this one.
We had a very clean neat room. The swimming pool was perfect for our 3 yr old granddaughter to play in. Breakfast was nice, big variety to chose from. Emily was very helpful in recommending places near the hotel to eat at. Happy hour was a welcome surprise.
Fast checkin process. Friendly staff, room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable and hotel was quiet so I got good sleep. Wifi is spotty and slow. Breakfast was very good but it never changes so if your staying longer then a couple of days it gets boring.
Full bathroom, spacious, lots of plugs, roomy, spa in room, snacks and a restaurant inside the hotel "Tried Texan BBQ" WOW it was really good. Check in service was excellant. We were on the road for 25 days and 16 of those nights were in hotels. This was my favorite hotel of those 16 nights.
This was our first stay at this hotel. It was clean and fairly priced. it is conveniently located from which to travel to and from Lincoln for football. Breakfast was especially good. We may stay at this location again.
The hotel staff was very nice and friendly, above and beyond helpful in our stay. The rooms were clean and updated, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was a great family friendly pool for kids, and hot tub for adults. The breakfast was very nice, lots of items to choose from, my kids loved the "make your own waffle". Overall a great hotel.
My wife and I stay here every time we are in Omaha. This hotel is out standing for the money ( great staff , very nice and attentive to your needs ) ! If you are looking for the best value , this is the place I would recommend .
This hotel has improved in so many ways over the last 4-5 years. It is a true quality on every level. And the breakfast and the woman who runs the breakfast is the BEST. We will continue staying here and they even gave our dog some dog biscuits. Quiet and restful sleep.
I was in Omaha for a family funeral and this hotel went out of their way to accommodate my stay. I also had my small pet with me and they were so gracious with my pet as well. This hotel is central to the greater Omaha area and it makes it easy to get around without any trouble. The staff was a 5 star in my book. The accommodations were top notch! A must stay hotel if you are in Omaha!
I can not begin to describe how much the staff goes out of their way to accommodate their customers. I have been staying at this location for 18 years and I won't stay anywhere else in Omaha. I've witnessed the staff tolerate some pretty rotten customers with professionalism and go out of their way to please the unpleasant. I've watched and experienced their loyalty to their regulars. The hotel is always clean and any issue I've ever had with my room was taken care of immediately.
Wonderful hotel! Room was clean and updated. Bed was very comfortable. We felt welcome. Pool is great for families. Staff was very helpful and friendly! Close to interstate and restaurants We will be back for sure!
Absolutely a delightful hotel with a phenomenal staff!!!! Very clean, wonderfully updated. Very pet friendly!!! The beds are comfortable. I love that there is a fridge and microwave in the rooms. The breakfast was wonderful and plenty. I highly recommend!!!
This is second time my family and I have stayed here and we will come back! The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. You wouldn't even know there are pets allowed in the hotel! We really enjoy spending time in the pool, which is perfect for my young children! The free breakfast offers quite the spread with a comfy atmosphere to boot. Very happy with the price point compared to the amenities.
came in ~6 pm w/o a reservation. santos, desk clerk, found me a great room at a great rate in minutes. room was large, clean, comfortable; amenities worth the small difference in price from other venues.
Although it is an older property, it is in great shape. It is quiet and close to many food joints. The Breakfast lady Roz is worth the stay. She made a scrambled egg concoction with bacon and peppers that is the best motel breakfast I have EVER had. That alone made the stay perfect.
Love staying there. The staff are friendly & it's a nice location. Rooms are always clean. Love the express check out. Breakfast is one of the best around. Parking is always good too. There is gas stations & restaurants across the street. Even with in walking distance.
Even with very late overnight check in during a very busy weekend the staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to give suggestions on local attractions to see and directions on how to get there. If you're in Omaha, this is the place to stay.
It has been totally remodeled and the rooms are amazing, fresh and clean. The kids (7 & 11) loved the pool and the slide. Their continental breakfast was also amazing, everything was hot and fresh, lots to choose from. They also added a nice extra touch of appetizers and drinks like a little happy hour. This was an amazing stay, staff was so pleasant and answered any questions we had. It was so nice that I want to go back again and find something new to do in Omaha.
We had a great time at the hotel. Everyone was very helpful to us from the moment we arrived. And the pool area was awesome. It's plenty big enough for all kinds of things. The view from our room was great as well.
This is a comfortable, quiet hotel. I was impressed with the lack of noise, given that the hotel was filled to capacity the night I stayed. The beds are comfortable, and there is a good selection of television channels. Wifi worked well. Breakfast included with stay was very good, and even had bacon!
Check in took an hour and we had to be switched to a different room. We could smell odor as soon as we opened door and toilet was so full we couldn't flush it all. We reported problem, were switched to a different room and all was fine after that.
The room decor was perfect for sleep at night as it had good darkness factors. Rare in most hotels. Of course, daytime had plenty of light. The staff was friendly and efficient. Wish I had more time to stay. Don't know when I'll be in Omaha again and will choose Best Western again. It left a good impression.
This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Check in and check out were super fast. The breakfast was delicious and the 2 people working the breakfast were so nice. I have 2 kids (5 and 1) and they were so friendly with both of my kids. My 1-year-old smashed his finger in the trash can lid and the lady brought him an ice pack and then asked about his finger the next day. She was so caring. The room was clean and neat, and the beds were so comfortable! Normally, I bring my own pillow and I had forgotten to bring it on this trip. But the pillows provided were great! I didn't wake up with a sore neck or back! We had also forgotten a pack n' play for my 1-year-old, which they provided after I asked at check in. It was actually very clean and I was super impressed that they had it all set up for us! The pool was great for my kids, as I would say it was a cross between a splash pad and a pool. It has 2 slides, 2 rafts, and a big mushroom like thing that has water coming off of it. In summary, I would definitely recommend staying here and will go back to this hotel when I go back to the area again.
Professional and very clean. We enjoyed our stay and would return. Rooms very spacious and breakfast had something hot and cold for everyone. Location was safe and we did not feel we could not walk around the area.
This was our very first time staying at this hotel- everything was clean and breakfast is great- it was a busy weekend so getting food took almost 20 minutes but it was very good. The pool area was my son's favorite and their fitness center was small but clean and open 24hrs, which I appreciated. However, our room was right across from the housekeeping break room and they were VERY LOUD. We loved the huge windows and comfortable beds and if it wasn't for the crazy noice level it would have been absolutely wonderful!
I stayed at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn and will not be going back I had items stolen from our vehicles while parked in the hotel parking lot. I ended up with $1000 worth of vandalism done to my vehicle. The Hotel did nothing to assist me in the matter. I filed a report like I was asked by the hotel, only to have the hotel's insurance company call me 3 days later to assume NO Responsibility! Not only did it cost me to stay at this hotel, I was never compensated for the $1000 worth of damage done to my vehicle. The general manager told me they aren't willing to do anything about the matter, so they don't admit fault. I'm not looking for anyone to admit anything, just would appreciate if Best Western Kelly Inn would try to make it right in some way as a guest at the hotel! I also asked if they have considered trying to get some assistance from a security type company to assist with safety on the property. I was told that it would be an expense and that they didn't want to do that at this time. So, for me and my future trips to Omaha what is protecting me and my family while staying at the Best Western Kelly Inn? Nothing! The hotel isn't responsible when parked in the parking lot which is private property and Best Western Plus Kelly Inn doesn't plan on hiring anyone from a security standpoint to secure the property so guests can truly enjoy their stay! So not only did I have to pay for my hotel stay I also got $1000 bill that must come out of my own pocket due to the Best Western Kelly Inn's unwillingness to assist me for my troubles when I was a guest at the hotel. Not only did I have this experience with vehicle vandalism, but, I also witnessed people get trapped in the elevator for over an hour. I recommend any visitor try to find a safer place to stay when picking your hotel.
Met all expectations of myself and my family. Clean and updated modern rooms & staff extremely accommodating. breakfast was good and had almost anything you would want. Pool and patio was excellent for the children and family getting together. Will certainly use this hotel again.
Very nice hotel. Ice machine was broken and the elevator on one end was broken. Kids loved the pool very nice rooms and extremely nice breakfast. It was super nice to have the bbq place attached and not have to drag the kids out or drive around. it was really good. we were impressed overall.
The hotel was clean and the staff very accommodating. Breakfast was very nice and the women who run it were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Omaha area.
Our family always has a great time at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn!! The pool is fantastic and we loved the look of the rooms. The rooms are clean and the staff is approachable. We look forward to our next visit.
Outstanding location in west Omaha. About a 15 minute drive form the Zoo and other downtown attractions also just north of the Storm Chaser ballpark. Perfectly placed on I80. Great pool for the kids with a mini water park on the inside.
Everything about this hotel caters to families with younger children. The staff is approachable and friendly. The pool is incredibly entertaining for the younger crowd-the water is under 3.5 foot and the play equipment is fun - it even opens at 7 am. Breakfast is really accessible and offers something for everyone. Even my fur-nephew was welcome and doted on. Please note - if you are looking for a place that is super quiet all of the time, this is not it. This hotel is full of fun, giggles and the pitter patter of little feet early in the morning and in the evening hours. But if you are a family coming to Omaha for some fun- this is a great place to land in between your adventures. The location is convenient for a variety of dining options to drive to and grocery stores and gas stations.
Property is well kept. Nice updates to the hotel. Spacious, clean room. Very comfortable bed! Breakfast has a nice big variety and is also well kept. Staff are very friendly and helpful during check in, check out and anything you need in between! I have seen maintenance personnel in the hallways and they were always friendly and helpful as well. The wifi always works great, I've never had an issue.
We experienced great service and a great experience! We will return whenever we are in the area! Hotel was clean, attractive, and had good amenities as well as onsite facilities for excersize and swimming.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn and WILL NOT be going back in less than 24 hour period I witnessed a guy stuck in the elevator for over an hour on a Thursday morning with nobody showing up to help for 45 minutes after the hotel staff was notified of an individual stuck in the elevator, another hotel guest that got a window smashed out with a laptop bag and digital camera stolen from vehicle in the parking lot and I ended up with $1000 worth of vandalism done to my vehicle in the parking lot with items stolen and the Hotel did NOTHING to assist me in the matter. I called the Omaha Police department filed a report like I was asked by the hotel. Then to have their insurance company call me 3 days later to assume NO Responsibility! So not only did it cost me to stay at this hotel which was never compensated for I got $1000 worth of damage done to my vehicle in the process of staying at this hotel. I would try to find a safer place to stay when picking your hotel. I spoke with the general manager and was told they aren't willing to do anything about the matter so they don't admit fault. I'm not looking for anyone to admit anything just would appreciate if you would try to make it right as a guest at your hotel! I then asked if they have considered trying to get some assistance from a security type company to assist with safety on the property and that would be an expense and don't really want to do at this time. So, for me and my future trips to Omaha what is protecting me and my family while staying at the Best Western Kelly Inn……Nothing…they aren't responsible when parked in the parking lot and don't plan on hiring anyone from a security standpoint to secure the property so guests can truly enjoy their stay! So not only did I have to pay for my hotel stay I also got $1000 bill that must come out of my own pocket due to the Best Western Kelly Inn's unwillingness to assist me for my troubles when I was a guest at the hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay at a different hotel because they aren't responsible for anything. I'm extremely disappointed they were unwilling to compensate me for my troubles and damage to my personal property while staying here.
From the AMAZING little indoor Waterpark to the first rate complimentary breakfast, we were most impressed with this Best Western Plus! The Waterpark is essentially a large, shallow (1-3 ft deep) pool, but with some excellent additions. The raining magic mushroom, the fun floatillas, and two slides (one big, one for littles) turn a run of the mill swim spot into a pool party extraordinaire! Our kids were worn out after just an hour of nonstop play--parenting win! Ooh, and don't forget the big hot tub, which was delightfully hot...nothing sadder than a lukewarm hot tub :) And while the breakfast bar seems to have the usual options: belgian waffles, bagels and an assortment of pastries, cereal, oatmeal, eggs and sausage, hot coffee...What sets this one apart is the high quality of the food. The waffle was better than some I've had at restaurants, and the bagel breakfast sandwich I made featured a succulent, well prepared sausage patty and "omelet eggs" packed with bacon, peppers and onions. Yum! We left most satisfied and ready for the road. The front desk staff were helpful, efficient and friendly, both last night and this morning. Finally the rooms were newly remodeled with comfortable beds, awesome a/c and a lot of channels on the tv. Seriously, the best overnight pitstop we've made in three years of family roadtripping.
Stayed here on road trip heading home. Our first room (non smoking) had an intense smokey aroma. We were changed instantly. Our room was clean. Beds and linens and towels were great. The breakfast was unexciting but I'm a vegan so there wasn't a large choice. Coffee was weak. There was tea. It was convenient.
My children ages 9,6,2 Loved the pool even though it was only 3 foot deep the slides make up for it! Great central location. Very accommodating. We were not too far from the zoo or several shopping centers.
This was the PERFECT find for our young family with pets! We actually ended up staying here both ways on our trip we loved it so much! -Pet friendly, the dogs even got a great bag when we checked in! -Amazing pool for the kids! It was perfect for our boys ages 4 and 7! -Probably the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept on! -Great breakfast and breakfast staff. -Friendly staff, from the front desk to the maintenance crew! -CLEAN! I could go on and on, we absolutely loved this place' We drive through Omaha several times a year, so we will be back!
My wife and daughter stayed at the Omaha Best Western Kelly Inn. Room 514 was just heavenly and had plenty of attention to detail that made all the difference. Great shower. The manager was very nice and ask how their stay was and really took an interest in them. Breakfast was managed by an older semi-retired couple who were nice. Outstanding breakfast. My daughter like the blueberry syrup. A highlight was the eggs with added ham and bacon in them.
This was our last hotel stay on our 10 day road trip from Illinois to Colorado, Wyoming and back. Wish we would have found other BW hotels vs the ones we stayed in during our trip. Everything from staff, cleanliness, pool, and breakfast exceeded the other hotels by far. Will be looking to stay at other BW hotels in the future!
Everything about this hotel was top notch. Sign in was quick and easy. Staff at check in was very pleasant and helpful. Room spacious, comfortable, clean and nice. High functioning internet. Very good breakfast.
My family and I spent a weekend here in June 2017 and had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed the pool and slide a lot! The breakfast was great and the room was very spacious. We had a little hiccup with no housekeeping one day but James did a great job of helping us out with towels, etc. He also delivered a pack & play to us at 11 pm when we checked in. So helpful and cheerful-it was memorable! If we're in the Omaha area I would definitely stay here again!
The PLUS means nothing except DIRTY and NASTY. I would never stay at the place again. Beds are broken, ceiling has stuff growing, freezer was not clean had items in it. Nastiest place I have ever stayed in.
Great experience! Friendly staff, very comfortable bed and plenty of room in the hotel room itself! Breakfast has tons of options and very well kept! The pool is great. Great location in Omaha! Would most definitely stay again and again. Only hotel we like to stay at!
This hotel is the best find. They have a great kid pool that is actually warm. The breakfast is huge and hot, tons of selection. The staff was very welcoming and even treated our dog as a family member. The hotel and our room was very clean and designed with quality. I would definitely stay here again.
This is the second time I have stayed at this Best Western. The rooms are clean and look great. These beds may be the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on! My room had a HUGE window. We stayed on the 4th of July and we were able to see fireworks from miles away the entire evening! The hot tub felt Amazing. I did not use the fitness area during my stay, but they do have a gym. The breakfast this morning was the main reason for writing my review. Yogurt bar with granola and other topping options. Oatmeal bar with brown sugar, cinn/sugar, raisins, cranberries, etc. Waffles of course, but with Nutella, peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, etc. So many donuts and fruit! Breakfast burritos or breakfast sandwiches. Bacon, Eggs, Sausage, i mean they literally offered everything! The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant from start to finish. Pet friendly. They even gave my little corgi a goodie bag at check in.
We were on the 3rd floor, next to stair well. We could hear every footstep going up and down until late at night, also, seemed we could hear everyone walking in the hallway on 4th floor. It was very loud in our room compared to other hotels we have visited. The pool was great for younger kids, but the hot tub was not working. That was a bummer, I was looking forward to that after spending the entire day at the zoo. Kids still had a blast in the pool. It is shallow, so we liked it for our 2 preschoolers. My other two kids, aged 8 and 10 also found enough to enjoy there. The breakfast was good as well, saves a lot of money, and there is something there for everyone. I would go there again for the right price, not the greatest location for the area attractions, but you are not too far away from the zoo and Old Market.
My husband and I were forced into finding a room in Omaha due to a power loss in our area (tornado). We thought there would be no way to find a room that would both allow our dog to come with us and also be able to accommodate my husband who is wheelchair bound now due to a recent stroke. The woman (Emily) I spoke to at BW was wonderful. She had one room that would work for us but she was waiting for another gentleman to decide if he wanted it. She told me she would call me back in 15 minutes and she did. The room was clean, cool and lovely. It worked perfectly for us. The location is great along with the free breakfast in the morning. We only stayed the one night but were so pleased! All staff we visited with were very helpful and extremely happy and pleasant. I only wish we could stay again....
Nice hotel with great parking for rv. We We would choose this hotel again if the price was reasonable. $240.00 a night was completely unreasonable for this room/ stay. Come on BW. You are not the four seasons. The only reason we stayed was because we needed space to park an RV and it was very late when we arrived so we couldn't find another hotel nearby with vacancy, parking we needed
Décor above average and services above average. Street configuration made it a little difficult to get into the hotel. A huge storm came up with tornado warnings. We were watching national weather on TV while it was going on live outside. Our room phone was unplugged (which we found and fixed) so if evacuation was necessary the front desk would not have been able to reach us. Other than that, a fine place to stay.
Clean hotel, awesome breakfast, fun pool and friendly staff. We will for sure be back to his hotel in the future! The rooms were nice sized and my 5 year old enjoyed the jacuzzi tub! The pool was perfect for him also.
Baseball brought us to Omaha for College World Series and our Sons Baseball tournament. Hotel was in great location to everything and a short 10-15 minute drive to Downtown area. Lot of restaurants nearby...Anthonys steakhouse is a must go to spot.
Very nice experience, even if it is just a bit distant from downtown. Super friendly staff and quick check-in/out. Clean, newly remodeled room and super bedding. Breakfast provided. Very nice experience. Will return!
On June 16, 2017 a Tornado went thru Bellevue, NE and several surrounding Cities. Unfortunately, we was included in one of those cities. They were telling us we would be without power for at least 4 days. Not only did we have the displacement of other people from the Tornado that lost power and several demolished homes trying to find places to stay, we also had the College World Series in town. So the city was all booked up for miles in every direction. After hours of calling trying to find a place that would take us and our 3 dogs, I finally found Best Western Plus Kelly Inn- The ladies at the front desk couldn't have been more sympathetic and understand of our situation. My husband and I were so grateful!!! I want to give a shout out too Santos, Anna and Emily- I don't know what we would have done if they weren't so kind. I will be forever grateful too those Three Ladies.. Thank you for EVERYTHING!! The Hill Family
The stay started out fairly pleasant. Clean rooms, though a bit pricey at $270 per night. The problem occurred the final morning when my family and 5 other guests became stuck in the elevator. I called the front desk, and the receptionist sounded like this was a common occurrence. Maintenance crews were dispatched and they tried to get it open. One employee came by and I could not hear the whole conversation, but we heard her say I am off duty then she left. Other guests had to assist the maintenance crew try to pry open. We finally called the fire department as it did not appear the elevator cannot be opened. The manager on hand seemed put out that the call was made. Issues can happen, but this one was handled in a clumsy and unprofessional manner.
We were traveling from Wisconsin to Colorado and Omaha was our halfway point. We had our dog along so our lodging options were limited. This hotel allows pets at no extra fee. It's a nice place, clean and friendly. We would return if in the area.
Hotel and staff exceeded expectations! Great place for children and just to relax! Not more than 10 minutes from everything we wanted to do in Omaha!! Breakfast bar had an assortment to choose from which was nice! Bed was a little firm for our liking but that is personal preference.
The pool had to much chlorine. You could smell it as soon as walked into the lobby of the hotel. My family and I had a great stay. The breakfast could have been alittle better. Thank you for the great bed to sleep on.
Being in town for a convention, it was a very nice place to reach at the end of each day. Comfy beds, welcoming staff and delicious breakfast. I would definitely consider staying here again on the next trip.
The hotel room was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We also appreciated the excellent breakfast including waffles, bacon, eggs, cereal and a lot more. The pool was exciting for the grandchild. The only downside was the water temperature, which felt like jumping into a hole in the ice over a pond. But the kid didn't mind. We also appreciate the fact that the hotel is 100% pet friendly. We take our toy poodle everywhere we go and so finding a hotel that welcomes her is a critical requirement.
We especially loved the pool for the little ones. They had a great time especially on the slide. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The decor was beautiful and there was great lighting.
Hotel is very nice, clean and very well maintained. BEST continental breakfast we've ever seen. Pool was wonderful for our children. I loved that the shallow end was only 8" it was perfect for our 1yr old. However on the website under hotel amenities it claims that the pool is heated. It was one of the coldest pools I've been in to the point that it really wasn't that enjoyable and my kids didn't stay in long. Also the "hot tub" was always jam packed with children because it felt more like bath water. The other thing that irritated me was when I booked online it claims you can "save by paying in advance" so here I thought our room was taken care of and ended up spending another $300 on our vacation than we planned. Lesson learned. Overall great stay and might stay here again.
Booked through the hotel because, #1- I have a best western rewards card that I like using. And #2- when viewing multiple hotels, I saw that this one specifically had an indoor pool and slides that looked fun for my kids that would be staying with me for a quick, fun overnight stay. Check in was a breeze, the lady at the front desk was very nice and got us taken care of quickly. Our room was better than I anticipated. Very nice, clean and updated. They accommodated us with a roll away bed for our last minute extra kids that ended up staying with us. So we had a total of five kids and two adults in our room, but despite the number, we all fit comfortably in the room. They ran extra pillows and blankets up for us and everything was pretty great....up until we put our wristbands on to go down to the pool. I thought the bands were a rather odd request, but the front desk insisted that all of us have one on the entire time we would be swimming. They provided enough for our original group of five, and I was told any extra would be $10 per band, even if we weren't swimming..our two extra kids would be $20. Again, no big deal. But when we got into the pool area, it was a complete nightmare...unless I had overlooked it in the description, I didn't realize that people who weren't PAYING TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL, were also allowed to come into this pool and pay to swim..I couldn't say exactly how many people were in this area, but I'd probably guess on the upside of more than 50+ people, 90% of which were small children and maybe 6-8 were adults....all the others were screaming children. Ok, didn't expect all that chaos, but I guess we could deal with it. But I was wary because some of these kids were downright terrors, running screaming, pushing, shoving...you name it. The hot tub had been overrun by at LEAST 10 kids, if not more, jumping in and out, filling their water guns from the pool and spraying it all over anyone who was trying to sit in the hot tub, so the temp of the hot tub was barely over 90 degrees because of all the colder pool water that had been added to it. Then in the actual big pool with the slides, I couldn't even say how many kids were in that one...enough that you could BARELY walk a step and not bump into someone else. And among all that chaos, I see this floating island thing that has kids jumping on and off of it, and it being shoved all around the pool and up to the edges of the pool (was told that it was chained to the bottom of the pool) I saw my son standing up on it in this shallow pool and I also saw how close to the CONCRETE edge it was and immediately had him off of it and warned him of the danger if he was to slip off and hit his head.. not soon after my warning, he stood up on it to get off and another kid (supposedly part of some pool party for 50+kids that had been scheduled there) shoved him off backwards and he went flying, HEAD FIRST, onto the concrete, and was hurt. This same kid that shoved him off that, had also shoved him off the slide, not five minutes earlier, while their parent did absolutely nothing but sit in the hot tub not wanting to be bothered with it. THATS the problem I had. I booked this room here because I wanted my kids to have fun and be able to swim. Not to have to fight for pool time or their own safety because so many outsiders, who DIDNT book rooms to stay at this hotel, had completely overrun the entire complex. Front desk didn't seem to care about the safety risk of that "chained down" island either. Even though it clearly posed a safety issue, especially when it can float so close to the edge of their pool. I was also not the only guest who was pretty upset this whole pool ordeal. They too, had booked their room mainly for the fact that the website showed a great pool for their kids to enjoy. But mine got cut short due to getting hurt and my other kids had an awful time because of so many packed into a small space..and obviously no life guards, as it's only a hotel pool. So, other than the decent room and comfortable beds, the main reason I booked the room here, was an complete disaster and waste of my money because my kids didn't get to enjoy the ONE THING this place had to offer. I won't go to the extent that some of the other parents wanted to about filing a formal complaint or possibly seeking other actions due to their kids being hurt as well due to the same issue we had, only because my son shouldn't have stood up on the thing. But he isn't 100% to be blamed, they need to take that island thing completely out of they continue to let so many people at once, into their pool and the need to specify on their web site that they let outsider into their pool as long as they buy a wristband. Got little to no sleep due to me staying up to make sure my son was okay from being knocked out for a second when his head hit the concrete. He still has ringing in his ears the next day because of this happening. Can't understand letting everyone in, even if they aren't a guest. If that's the case, then say in on your website and maybe regulate the actual number of people who are in the pool together, as well as taking that island completely out of there before another kid gets hurt worse.
We stay at this hotel every time we go to Omaha to visit family and normally it is Excellent, this trip however, there was one MAJOR problem; THE BED. Everything else can and was great, the room was clean and quiet, the staff was Outstanding, the breakfast was well above par, and this is one of the best pet friendly hotel chains around; but if the sleep is no good, the rest just doesn't matter, and this bed was the worst ever.
I really enjoyed my stay. I was there for my job BUT I would have loved to have went with my son for personal time or vacation. The staff was polite the services was great and the the room itself was good. I slept very well.
This is the very best of hotels I've stayed in for over a decade. The staff was attentive: professional yet very relaxed and hospitable with me. That goes from check-in to the associates serving supper and breakfast. The room was inviting, the way it was laid out. I usually have a difficult time away from my home bed. Not in this hotel! The mattress obviously has been changed from time to time!
Had a great time with the family in Omaha and at the BWKO. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is pretty cool as well, especially for the little ones. Breakfast was really decent as well. Will stay here again!!!!
I have stayed at many best westerns in the past years and this hotel rates among the best. The people are nice the breakfast is outstanding stay there if you if you are in Omaha. One important thing as well they are pet friendly God bless theme you are in Omaha. One important thing as well they are pet friendly God bless them
My family and i had the wonderful pleasure of staying here. All the staff were nice, Chaylie the night audit was super nice and very welcoming. We were in town for a funeral and she gave us all the info we were looking for and more. The rooms are clean and very nice. The pool is super cool for kids. A little on the small side with the deepest of 3 feet lol but works out just great for my kids and may others that were there too. Breakfast was fantastic with many options and a very nice dining area.
Stayed here twice on trips to Omaha at the end of March and in early May. Easy drive to downtown Omaha and a great value that makes the distance worth it. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Enjoyed the happy hour the day we arrived. Clean, comfortable rooms that are nicely appointed. It worked out really well! Pool looks like great fun for children.
We stayed here when attending a conference in town. Very helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. Well located to access all parts of Omaha and services located very close. If we are ever in Omaha again this would be our choice.
This was one of the best hotels our family has ever stayed in! The rooms were clean and modern, the pool was great for kids and the breakfast was amazing! We will be recommending it to all of our friends! The rooms had were so nice and comfortable. We were on the main level near the pool and front desk and we didn't have any issues with sound. The pool has two water slides. The smaller one is great for smaller children, but our two year old could use the bigger slide with no problem as well. The pool does only go to 3 feet at it's deepest, which was a bit of a bummer, but great for kids. There is also a nice hot tub. However, the best part of our stay was probably the breakfast. A great spread, everything was delicious and well supplied. The people running/stocking it were very friendly. My husband declared it the "best hotel breakfast." We were very happy with our stay.
Roz from the restaurant is so sweet and her eggs with bacon, peppers and onions were so delicious that they caught me off guard. This is a great deal for the price ($88 a night for a king) and I booked last second (same day) on hotels tonight.
Enjoyed a great stay at BW! In Omaha for an engagement luncheon at Old Market. Hotel was clean, loved the comfy king bed, refrigerator, and microwave. Quiktrip across street to gas up rental car was handy! Food and shopping down the street was great for us to grab food!
Our over all stay at the best western was pleasant and the breakfast was excellent , I look forward to the breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed our peaceful stay, wishing in the future maybe they would consider a light brunch maybe .
We always come to Omaha over Easter to visit the zoo and we decided to stay in town for the weekend. This hotel has a wonderful pool area for kids with slides and floating toys. The hotel looks to be recently renovated (some review pictures show different rooms) and is absolutely stunning. Staff was helpful and rooms were spotless.
We had a two night stay in Omaha at Kelly Inn. The room was very clean and comfortable for our needs, and was pet friendly, which we required. The afternoon we arrived, there was a manager's reception with wine, beer and snacks, which was lovely. The hot breakfast the next morning was ample, and tasty. The only downside was getting and internet connection. We called the front desk and were told it was because we had a Mac, which seemed odd. We called their tech support and no one answered the phone. We were given a number to type in the web browser, and that didn't work. Yes, we were in Omaha to visit friends and not hang on the computer all day, but we did have business to attend to in the evening, and the computer issue was problematic. My rating was for the room. If I could rate the technology situation, I would give one star!
Clean hotel with phenominal staff (with the exception of initial check in lady , who was rude and short with us.) The pool area is clean and perfect for kids and adults, breakfast is wonderful, and the cleaning staff are extremely cheerful!
The pool was fantastic for our kids ages 4-9 as it was only 3 foot at deepest. Good slides too! Breakfast had great variety and different items each day. Beds were comfortable and newly renovated. Elevator was slow, but good chance to use stairs.
The staff makes you feel as if your business is not important to them. The room was very clean however the general manager is extremely rude and service representative was extremely rude. Very nice pool for families with the waterslides.
this is a very good place to stay, we choose best western plus kelly inn because its nice, clean, quiet, and the staff is great we have had a few things that we had to complain about but nothing that wasnt fixable one was the ice machine on our floor didnt work we had to search the other floors for one that did i miss having perkins in there you could go eat anytime. the pool is great and hot tub very relaxing, they have been renovating for quit some time now and should be about done we stay here a lot when we have drs appt. its our go too place, and valentinos is just down the block i use a walker and everything is accessible
We just spent two nights at this great hotel! It was exactly what we were looking for when planning a quick trip with a couple of grandkids during a school break. We had no trouble finding the location even during "rush hour" and were quite surprised at check-in! The hotel is very clean, the staff extremely friendly, available and hard-working! We were accommodated at every request! The streets by the hotel are busy but once inside, you don't hear the traffic. Our room was large, two comfy beds, fridge, well-decorated. Pool is set up for children - ours had a blast! Breakfast is all you could want and the coffee in the big pots is great! We would recommend this Best Western to anyone! Hats off to all the people who make this hotel operate tip-top!
This will be a nice hotel when they get done with their renovations. Happily, we were in a nice updated room. The beds were comfy. The room was clean, but the room smelled like someone had just heated up some leftovers which I thought was weird. The workout equipment is old, worn out and rusty... disappointing. We were going to get in the cool pool and hot tub, but there was tons of scum on top of the bubbles in the hot tub. Icky, so we passed. The breakfast was yummy and I was super happy with the gluten free options! Pretty unusual in a chain hotel breakfast. The lady in the breakfast room was very friendly and accommodating.
Great location and the room is very comfortable and inviting. Would recommend this hotel to everyone looking for an upscale hotel for a very reasonable price. We have stayed here for the past four years and plan to return next year.
We had a large group (approximately 20 rooms) here last weekend. The staff made our experience wonderful from the initial booking until the end of the stay. Front desk staff, housekeeping, breakfast staff and the shuttle driver were never without a smile on their face and willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were well appointed with fridge and microwave (that both actually worked). The entire hotel was clean and well lit. The kids had fun in the pool, the pool is best for smaller kids because at it's deepest it is 3ft. The whirlpool was nice for adults. We used the shuttle service back and forth to the wedding reception, there was a fee but it was worth it's weight in gold to get everyone back and forth safely. The driver, James, was pleasant and again, very accommodating as we needed more trips back and forth than we had originally booked. No issues or problem with the extra trips. Breakfast was great with more options than normal, kept well stocked throughout. Managers reception was also great although maybe could happen on weekend nights also. Can't say enough about the staff. From beginning to end, even with a couple of last minute changes they were superb. The are an asset to this company. Highly recommend for wedding parties, family reunions, groups of any kind!
Didn't know what to expect when my daughter booked the hotel. We were there for a twirling competition and all the other girls were staying there. I was very satisfied with the hotel. The free breakfast was excellent -- many choices. Check in was easy and they have express checkout, too. The room was updated and tasteful. The elevator was a little slow at times, but it seems all high rise hotels have this problem. We had in-room coffee, microwave, refrigerator, and internet. We would stay there again.
We checked in, got our key and rode the elevator up to our room, only to discover that our request for a room on the top floor away from the highway had apparently been ignored. We went back to the front desk, where the receptionist said our requests had not been noted, and were given a key to the kind of room we asked for to begin with. Back up the elevator to our room, which on first glance seemed very nice. Dark wood furnishings, no unpleasant odors, and very clean. And indeed, this room was also exceptionally quiet, as other reviewers have noted. Later we began to notice the way the hotel is showing its age--peeling wallpaper, rippled carpeting, etc. In themselves, these wouldn't have been a deal breaker for us, though we did begin to think we had rather overpaid. The last straw was when we realized we could not turn off the air conditioner. No matter how the thermostat was adjusted, the cold air continued to stream into our already frigid room. More unfortunate, the water pressure in the shower didn't allow one to get comfortably warm even temporarily. We thawed out by running the hair dryer in the bathroom with the door closed. Less than ideal.
I travel though Omaha frequently and read the reviews on this hotel so decided to try it. I was glad I did. I stayed in a room on the first floor and it was hands down the best Best Western or hotel of its class I have ever stayed in. Keep in mind I only used the room as it was so late when my dog and I got in. The room was fresh, clean, beautifully decorated , beautiful tile floors, comfortable bed and shower was good. Room was quiet. Night staff at check-in was nice and efficient. There is an area to walk your dog across the street. I only had coffee from the breakfast offerings but it was good!
My husband and I stayed here on our way down to Arizona. We're staying primarily in Best Westerns due to the value and consistency of what you can expect. This one was really a pleasure. It may have recently been redone as the carpets looked fairly new and the beds were extremely comfortable - not a single lump. There were lots of pillows on the beds and the layout of the room was efficient without being too small. The parking is also free. If you're passing through Omaha, this is a very comfy stopping point for you. The only proviso I'd supply is that though there are 2 restaurants across the parking lot, one is a roadhouse type and the other is a lounge.
Your pet is welcome here for a $15 fee and even receives a welcome pack of dog cookies.Staff is super friendly and helpful .Bed is comfortable room clean.even happy hour.breakfast could be improved.location good for access to I interstate 80.
I was driving from Oregon to New York. I stayed only at Best Western for 5 nights. This one was the best! Most comfortable beds on the whole trip made for the best nights sleep. Polite staff, beautiful decor, overall best stay on my trip!
This is a really nice hotel. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. They go out of their way to help you with anything. We have stayed here 5 times now and will continue to stay at this hotel on our trips to Arizona every year and back home again. Also gas stations just across the road and all kinds of restaurants very close by
The location is good and accessible to both downtown as well as the west side of Omaha. Near many good restaurants. The rooms are updated nicely and most importantly - the bed is comfy! Plus, the staff is friendly and helpful.
The BW Kelly Inn was a nice place to pull up to. The hotel looks cozy, however, note the Perkin's is not open – Don't worry, they have a wonderful hotel breakfast! We liked the updated lobby, the smiley staff, the updated rooms, the place was just right in every way. We were pleased to find a refrigerator in the room. We did not need to call for one thing in our two night stay. There is an elevator on each side of the floors, so there is not a long walk to your room from the elevator, at all. (One takes you straight to the pool.) The pool was great for the littles. The kids that were there seemed to play pretty well together. There were a lot of kids using the slide and being safe without being told and there were a lot of littles enjoying the shallow end. All the adults and kids seemed respectful which just added to the experience. Although one of the restrooms was down for updates that did not seem to be too big of a deal. There were plenty of towels and restocked during both of my visits to the pool. We were impressed with the selection and bustle in the breakfast room. Everything remained well stocked and there was a pretty full group both mornings we were there. Nice job and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Omaha. Just a few highway miles to the zoo and the downtown area and river.
Very nice property. Good location on southwest side of Omaha. Remodeled rooms are well appointed, adequate for business use, very comfortable bed. First rate pool area, especially for families. Plenty of room to spread out for breakfast More good choices than most hotel breakfast offerings, including two newspapers. Staff is friendly, efficient and helpful.
We chose this hotel to stay at in Omaha because it had the water park. We were not disappointed. When we checked in, Amber was very efficient and friendly. We needed a place to eat our pizza supper and asked if we could eat in the breakfast room. She said we were welcome to use it. It made a very nice place to eat with all of our family. Then we used the water park. My two grandsons just loved it. They couldn't get enough of the slides and other "toys". The adults enjoyed the hot tub. There were tears when we had to get out of the pool. I also made use of the exercise room both mornings we stayed there. That room should be kept a little cooler and sanitzing wipes should be available, otherwise the machines worked fine and I worked up a nice sweat. The bed was very comfortable - we slept very well. The free breakfast in the morning was very good - more than the usual free breakfasts are. Hot eggs, meat choices, waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, breads, even cookies! The biggest complaint was not with the hotel, but with the confusing roads around it. Twice our GPS did not help us find it and we drove around several times and in the wrong directions. Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay and we'll definitely stay there again with the family.
We arrived at the hotel and it was late the front desk receptionist was very nice and checked me in quickly. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I woke up the next morning and went down to the breakfast bar at around 10:10 since I thought it was still open till 11 but there was a lady there who was kind of rude when she told me the breakfast bar was closed. Overall the stay was nice a d comfortable.
My wife and I stayed there the weekend of October 14-15 while visiting son and grandchildren. We had a very pleasant stay. First I would like to commend Front Desk Associate Amber. She checked us in quickly and was very friendly. When we entered the hotel on the second day, she greeted us warmly and asked how we were enjoying our stay. We had a King room that was nice and the bed was very comfortable. For those of you who like a 'free' breakfast, you will be pleased. I personally don't like those kind of breakfasts and would rather have a freshly cooked meal. Their breakfast bar was quite large and well stocked. The eating area was large and well maintained. They also apparently have a 'happy hour' on Monday through Thursday evenings. We weren't able to enjoy that since we were not there on those evenings. Looks like they have a keg for the guests to enjoy. They also have a smaller waterpark which our grandkids enjoyed very much. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend you consider staying at this property.
We stayed here overnight while spending the weekend in Omaha, seeing sights. I chose this hotel, because it was referred to me by a relative and the kids pool was the selling point for me. It was my son's birthday and weather wasn't great, so this was the perfect option for our stay during our visit. When I arrived to check-in - the process took only a few minutes-quick and simple. I had reserved 3 rooms, and didn't even have to specify that they should be near each other - it was already taken care of. The gals at the front desk were very polite and genuinely nice. I made the reservations about 1 month in advance and had to call in a few times to make adjustments - they were consistently friendly and great to deal with. The rooms were nice-neat & clean. There were plenty of towels and toiletries, the Wi-Fi & TV both worked great, and the room had plenty of space (two queens-non smoking). Also, the breakfast buffet included was probably the best I've ever seen at a hotel - especially since it was included in the reservation. There were lots of options. Overall, I was very impressed. for the price we paid we got exceptional service and amenities. I will definitely return with my family again.
I got a room for the night with my son just for the swimming part of it. I live in this town but will occasionally get a room for the 'vacation feel'. My son wanted to go swimming and i desperately wanted to soak in the hot tub. The other times i have been here, it has been great, which is why i chose to come back. We arrived around 5 and decided to go swimming right away. The swimming pool was ok, needs updating. The hot tub however was extremely foamy, and in the middle sitting on the foam is what i think was dead skin cells. I'm not one to ever complain, but i really wanted to sit in the hot tub. I notified the front desk and the lady said she would get someone in there to clean it. We decided to go grab a bite to eat and come back and try the hot tub again. We were gone for about an hour and a half, when we got back, it still looked the same. So we decided to go to our room and call it a night. I decided i wanted to take a bath since i couldn't sit in the hot tub, and to my luck, the drain didn't stay plugged! So i just went to bed. One positive thing about my stay is that the beds are super comfy and the rest of the room was clean and updated. Probably won't come back here though.
Musty at the front desk and hallways, but the room was pleasantly clean and comfortable. Nice soft bed and individual thermostat that 1. Actually works and 2. Is NOT a dirty rattling window unit. : ) Great place for the dogs, lots of grassy areas to walk them. A nice suprise!
Great beds and pillows. The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was free- eggs, bagels, cereal, pancakes, fruit ect. Plenty of room if parking a uhaul or towing a car. No restaurants that are within walking distance. Would stay here again.
We are from Topeka, KS and brought our twins for a night stay before going to the Omaha Zoo, and they loved it! They especially loved all the fun in the swimming pool, which is by far the funnest pool at a hotel that we have ever had! It is perfect for little ones, and in our case, kids that cannot swim because it doesn't go over 3 foot deep. The front desk was very accommodating in giving us a bottom floor room, as we have children with disabilities. Breakfast was great also! We will be bringing the family back again soon!
We have stayed here before and knew it was a nice hotel. We were on our way home and planned our stop in Omaha knowing this would be a nice hotel. At check-in they give you a small welcome bag that includes a drink and snack. Breakfast is included in your stay and is your typical hotel breakfast...eggs, bacon, cereal, toast etc. The rooms are nice and roomy. Easy on and off I 80.
Stayed at this place since it was off the interstate on our way home from our road trip! It was clean and the bed/pillows were so comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast had so many options especially some healthy ones.
I choose Best Western because the facilities are clean as well as the room. Ease of access from interstate. Employees treat me like family. The breakfast is varied and delicious. After breakfast our door system would not allow access back inside our room. The battery had died and the Mgr called maintenance immediately. Mario was pleasant and couldn't apologize enough. While it took him nearly 30 minutes to get the door open, it was nice to know that we were safe inside our room should someone try to break-in.
I am more than pleased with our stay.. I wish I could remember the names of the lady and her husband in charge of breakfast sunday THEY WERE ABSOLUTLY AMAZING. They husband was helping his wife out free of charge just because he was an amazing person. IF EVER IN OMAHA THIS IS A MUST FOR A FAMILY OR BUISNESS TRIP
The BWPlus Kelly Inn is conveniently located. The rooms are large and clean. Newly remodeled breakfast area is very pretty and well organized. What really stood out for me was the friendliness and caring attitude of EVERY employee we saw during our 4-day stay. The housekeeping staff greeted us with smiles and "good morning"; the breakfast room lady stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we wanted; the front desk staff would wish us a good day every morning as we left, and greeted us every evening when we returned.
We were pleased to find a happy hour with complementary beer & wine after a long day of driving ! Keri was very pleasant & helpful . In the morning the breakfast was great , again a member of your staff (Joi ) was very friendly& helpful . Carol helped me get back in the room when I locked my purse after check out . We felt very taken care of . Thanks
BW Plus Kelly Inn Omaha has always been "our go to" home away from home while in Omaha. I am fortunate to say that I have had the opportunity to know many of the staff. I have found that it does not matter what their job description may be Manager, reception, housekeeping or maintenance they are friendly, professional and always ready to serve you. We personally love the new updated rooms which are always meticulously cleaned and the large number of electrical outlets for all our electrical necessities. The bright entry and hallways are inviting. Beds, linens, pillows feel fresh clean and comfy. Oh and most importantly, for this coffee addict, the coffee at the front desk is AWESOME, keep it coming! The hospitality business can be tough, however, these people due it RIGHT!
Beds were way too soft--had no support. Was noisy. Had small children running up and down the hall early in the morning with parent hollering after them. Breakfast lines were very long due to people standing by waffle iron--need to reconfigure area.
Best of the personal go above and beyond give you suggestions directions they try their best meet needs as to extras in rooms tell where extra entrances r that are closet to room if traveling with family do best to keep on same floor rewards program a must
This is the place to stay with young children. We were looking for a place for our son's Big 3 birthday. The hotel offered a zoo package with 2 adult tickets and 2 kids tickets. The pool was perfect for our 3yr old; with two water slides and the deepest end being only 3ft deep. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make our vacation one to remember. While we were at the zoo they decorated our room at my request and did an awesome job. The breakfast was great and the lady was so sweet, she made every morning special. From the front desk staff to the managers and even maint. employees Kudos! Yal Rock!! We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed each and every one. It was worth the extra money to stay here and would do it again. Thanks so much for making this one awesome trip! Had problems uploading pics of pool but they have some on website. Totally worth staying at!!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean. One room needed updating while the other was quite nice. Overall, these were positive experiences with the exception that I signed up to earn points for my stay with Best Western, yet, I have stayed a total of 5 nights and have 0 points. When I asked the front desk about this, they stated that there is nothings that they can do.
We stayed here to attend a training for our business, we had a very nice stay. It is very nicely decorated and I thought the beds were great. I wasn't real impressed with the breakfast but that would be the only thing that wasn't good.
The bed was comfortable, the customer service was great. They were also very nice to my dog, even giving her a little baggie of dog treats - she was very grateful! The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rooms were definitely out of date. But we were there for one night, it was comfortable, service was great. I don't think that's such a huge deal.
We chose this hotel because we were travelling with two children and thought the pool area would be fun. The spa was not that great because none of the jets will hit your back. We were not the only ones with children and the pool was crazy loud and crowded. Without a lifeguard and absence of parenting, older children were allowed to do as they wished, making it dangerous for the little ones (not just ours). The room was clean and comfortable.
Our reception was very welcoming and staff we came in contact with were very nice. The room seemed clean and well kept. For us the bed was very comfortable. The only negative was at 0800 when we had breakfast the food was on the cool side.
Great location, easy access, friendly service, great breakfast. Rooms at always clean and recently remodeled. Pool for kids, several local restaurants within walking distance. I've stayed here over 150 nights over the past several years.
Carol Broer and her staff went out of their way to make this an excellent stay. When we travel to Omaha, we always stay at this Best Western hotel. The kids enjoy the pool, the breakfast just gets better, and the manager's reception was enjoyed by all. 10 stars to the best Best Western at the Kelly Inn.
we cheked in on Monday the 8th of Aug. 2016 Emily was amazing and feel as though she is a great asset to Kelly Inn Our room was very clean as well as the Hotel its self. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome you were very helpful and would never hesitate to stay at your property again...blessing to you Emily and thank you for a job well done
This is first time I stayed Best Western. We took road trip from Chicago to Las Vegas. On the way back, we stayed in this hotel. 1) I stayed in this hotel for the following reasons. * TripAdvisor's rating is high. But to be honest, I don't know why this hotel is rated so high. * It's very close to I-80. Just about a mile from I-80 * Dog friendly hotel - I have 2 little dogs with me. 2) Pros and Cons * Easy access to restaurants - Many restaurants are walking distance, within 0.3 to 0.2 miles from the hotel * Price is reasonable * It has a kid friendly pool and hot tub. It opened till 11:00pm. This pool seem to be great for kids to be entertained. While kids play in the pool, the adult can also enjoy the hot tub. I haven't used either, pool nor hot tub while I stayed in this hotel, so I can't commend on cleanness, etc. * Dark carpet in dog friendly room that we stayed. The brownish patterned dark color carpet through out entire room except for the bathroom floor. Dark color carpet may hide the dogs mess, but you can't get rid of smells. For the dog friendly room, why the carpet? Wouldn't it make more sense to put hard floor? * Smell - It looks clean, but I can smell, it almost smell like someone has smoke in the room. I know this is no smoking inn. Maybe what I was smelling is from the chemical cleaning agent. I am not sure, Whatever the source of the smell, it wasn't pretty.
We chose to stay at this hotel because we thought our kids would like the pool. While the pool did need a few updates/minor repairs the kids LOVED it. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was great. Wide variety of food at breakfast. Will definitely be staying again.
We needed a break from our road trip when we stopped in. We chose the hotel because it was shown as being pet friendly - they definitely were! Doggy treats at check in for our labrador and many pets around the hotel. The staff was very friendly at check in. Room was large and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. We were also traveling with our 18 month old and they provided a pack n play for our daughter to sleep in. There is also a large pool for kids. A little dated (looks like they are doing some updates) but the kids seem to love it. Has a small water slide etc. Free breakfast in the morning was actually pretty good! Lastly, we were towing our small rv and there was ample parking for it. Overall, good stay!
This hotel is excellent with a great room, friendly staff and great management. I've stayed at this hotel for years due to nice large rooms, comfortable beds and good wifi. The hotel has a pool serves breakfast and also has meeting rooms for rental which makes it very nice to conduct business.
Me and my wife stayed here over Christmas and it was great . we had a wedding to go to so thought we try them again . The experience was just like the first . What a pleasure it was . The hotel was clean , well light and we got the some room we had before. It was if we never left . From the people at the front desk to house keeping and even the maintenance man help us . The free breakfast was very good and well prepared. We have family in Omaha and will be staying here again . thank you again to all the people at Kelly's Inn for another great stay
Great motel staff was very friendly and very helpful room was very clean. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows my room also had a couch to sit on also instead of having to sit on the bed like a lot of other motels.
My title says it all !!! Service is excellent and the staff is very willing and wanting to be of service. Rooms and motel was neat and clean. This has now become my home away from home in Omaha. It also is easy access off of I-80
Location is close to interstate but but without the noise and close to all business which may be necessary i,e, gas satation, food, etc. It was locationed in an area with easy access to all the site I wanted to see and visit. Recommend this value BW hotel .
This hotel was very nice. The room appeared clean until we looked under the bed and found some old food. The pool was AWESOME. It deepest it got was 3 feet which was great for our young children. They loved the water slides and fun floating lilly pads and raft!
I originally booked this hotel because of the fun pool for my kids but the great service and fun perks will keep me coming back and recommending this hotel to my friends and family in the future. I love what they have done with the closed Perkins and how they have found a way to give their patrons a great value.
Nice, clean hotel. Staff was super nice. Good variety of breakfast items. Only thing that we found bad was equipment in weight room didn't work, hot tub was beyond too hot to get in, and no internet access in our room.
We arrived later then we wanted but the pool stayed opened until 11p so we were able to take our boys for a little while. The breakfast was awesome and Deb was taking such good care of my boys while we were in the dining area! They gave each of my boys a snack pack for the zoo which was well used too! The room was very nice and clean. House keeping came by to check on us and gave us extra HOT towels. :) they must have just came out of the dryer. The water for the shower was extremely hot, but didn't want to turn to cold, only complaint, but they offered another room to us if we wanted to take showers, which was so kind of them. Loved this place and hope they continue the zoo package and breakfast, we want to start making this trip and annual vacation with our boys!! Thank you to the staff for making our stay so awesome!! ( Please share with the staff!!)
The staff is very helpful, polite and anxious to please you. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well furnished. The breakfast has a good variety and tasteful. The cleaning staff does a very good job.
I don't usually stay at Best Westerns so I wasn't sure what to expect. I prefer Hampton or Marriott, but I was very impressed with the quality Best Western offered at this location. Check-in was very quick, the staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was a little run-down, but the kids really enjoyed it and it was nice to be in a hotel that was so kid-friendly. We were on the first floor so I was a little worried about noise, but everything was very quiet and calm (even on a Saturday night with a pretty full hotel!). It was a great visit and I've already recommended it to friends who want to travel to Omaha to visit the zoo. We will definitely be back next time we're in Nebraska!
Staff was wonderful ! Kid loved the pool ! Breakfast was the best (free one) we have ever had ! The king size bed I wish I had at my house ! I wish ever Best Western and other hotels were this good !!
Very nice property. Remodeled lobby is attractive and comfortable. Rooms have been upgraded. Well sound proofed and very comfortable. Good work stations in the room with fast internet connection. Upscale breakfast with many choices. Very spacious eating area. Courteous, professional staff. Pool area is first rate especially for children. Newspapers are a nice touch.
My husband and I took our 3 year old for a short weekend and a trip to the zoo. The zoo package was a great value and the rooms were so nice! Best sleep I've had in months! The pool was perfect for my son as it only goes to 3 feet deep. The only downsides were the pool area being very humid and the breakfast buffet extremely cramped. Otherwise, everything was fantastic - especially the staff. The one thing I would suggest is that people that do not have 2 children/2 adults have an option to purchase zoo tickets at a special rate instead of in a package.
This was an excellent hotel from start to finish. The staff was anxious to help with very minor situations and made sure that the help provided solved the situation. The bathroom vanity was very nice but also very modest in size. We wish that we had participated in breakfast much earlier than 8 a.m. because the breakfast area was a mob scene due to the number of families in the hotel. We noted that the breakfast area was still open at 10...well beyond the advertised closing time. The attendants in the breakfast area were excellent and kept the tables clean the food items stocked. This is something that is iffy with some motels.
We arrived just after 10 pm fortunately the pool is open till 11 pm. Well fortunately for the kids at least. The room was nice and the staff was really pleasant at check in and in the morning for breakfast. The great thing I thought about the pool was that you needed wrist bands provided by the front desk in order to use. Which I think would help prevent people using the pool who are not guest. Breakfast had several choices, was satisfying, and free. I would recommend staying here and will again if passing through.
Facility looks accommodating and staff is kind; nice pool and easily accessible. However, our room's bathroom was dirty (see photo) with a clearly visible wad of hair near toilet surrounded by a pool of water and moldy looking residue in surrounding toilet areas. Sink was also dirty with what looked like leftover cigarette ash. Moreover, there was no hot water from both sink and shower during entire stay, which made cleanup from a long road trip day highly uncomfortable and disappointing for all. Our family has always enjoyed and chosen Best Westerns over other hotels because of their hospitable staff and clean facilities, but this stay has made us rethink doing so again in the future... Room in discussion is 712.
We had a nice stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. When we arrived we found trash under our bed, and we were immediately moved to another room. The pool was the area for concern for us. Our kids loved it, and there is a lot to do. The concern was that there were older kids in there playing on the floating toys, and had no regard for the younger kiddos. Numerous times our kids were pushed over by those. When there were not many people in the pool area it was very enjoyable!
This was an awesome place to stay the staff is very friendly and attentive especially the breakfast bunch thoses girls are so fun they are very helpful friendly and hardworking Deb Rayne and Loren did a awesome job and made us all feel right at home without all the work awesome food and very clean. We will be back again!
Despite being overrun with Little League ball players and their families, our room on the 7th floor was very quiet. Wi-Fi was excellent. The counter space in the bathroom is small, but the chair with ottoman, work chair, and pull out desk / work station gave us lots of space to relax and spread out. The hotel is walking distance to several restaurants. They have a very large breakfast room and had three people working it on the weekend. Even with a full hotel, the three of them kept all of the breakfast items stocked (hot and cold) and the tables clean. The hotel is conveniently located for easy access to the downtown area, TD Ameritrade Park (college world series) and the Aquatic Center (US olympic swimming trials).
Two days in to our stay...the hotel had big power problems! The Air conditioning and elevators were out, hot tub closed, fitness center was 82 degrees. They did comp our last night. This hotel is overpriced for the age of this place. Would not recommend staying here.
we enjoyed our trip, the hotel staff was attentive and did a great job with dealing with any possible issues, especially with all the baseball boys and parents and other kids staying there. One thing I did not like was the pool...it was not deep enough for adult and I wish there was more room on the property for an outside pool. The second thing I did not like was there was no bbq area and no laundry on facility for quests. This was a bit of an inconvenience, especially for families. The breakfast was adequate and much appreciated, as some hotel require you to pay.
The hotel was a little older but the pool makes it great. The pool is perfect for kids. It is not deep and has a smaller slide and bigger slide. It is 15 minutes from the old market downtown area. It is 15-20 minutes from the children's museum and zoo. It is also reasonably priced. It is a good family hotel. Free breakfast is included!
We HAD to stay here for a baseball tournament, and it was overpriced. Don't get excited about the indoor pool. It is a kiddie pool, and it is so loud and hot and humid in there. Try not to get a room upstairs, the elevator is so slow, it would be quicker to take the stairs. The breakfast is all right, but nothing spectacular, I guess what you would expect free. And be careful how late you stay up and hang out on the patio, you just might make a night employee mad, and she may call you names. Also, you may have to park farther away, because the staff thinks they should get to park in the front of the hotel, even in the handicap parking spots. Don't lose items under your bed...we found cheese under ours, that we did not bring, so who knows that last time the room was actually cleaned?
I have to commend the two young lady's at the front desk. The hotel had some small issues which was inconvenience for some people but the front desk girls and the maintenance guys went above and beyond what most people would have to try to help fix the problems. I have to say they are some of the nicest people you could ever ask for and they do the best they can when problems happen. I've stayed here before and the outstanding service hasn't changed a bit. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone passing threw or staying the weekend.
Air conditioning isn't working in about half of the hotel. We are here with our youth baseball team. Most of the team arrived early in the evening and began reporting that the AC wasn't working properly so the front desk was well aware of the problem. We were a late check in and nobody mentioned anything to use about the problem. They sent us to our room (two floors away from the rest of our team) and our AC wasn't working. Called the front desk who said they would send a repair person up at 9:00 the next morning. No offer of a fan or portable AC was made. We left our room at 9:00 this morning and when we returned at 4:00 pm, the AC was still not working. Called the front desk and were told the manager would call us right back. Over an hour later, nobody had called so we called again. (In the meantime, others on our team told us they'd been offered portable ACs to get their rooms cooled.) We were finally told we'd get a portable AC sent up right away and 30 mins later, nothing. Beyond frustrated. This hotel is not nearly nice enough for the price and on top of that, we have this AC problem. Additionally, the pool is a wading pool. Great if your kids are 2 and under but worthless for anyone else. Breakfast this morning was mediocre. Floors were dirty at 8:15 a.m. Food was ok. Nothing to rave about. Oh...when we arrived last night and got to our room, the door was open. Reported that to the front desk as well and nobody seemed to be the least bit concerned about that. Waiting to see if we get last night's stay comped at a minimum. So far, nothing has been offered to make up for these issues.
We were very comfortable and didn't encounter any problems. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was clean and had more than enough towels. There was good lighting and adequate charging stations and plugins.
Awesome Hotel! would definitely stay here again . very new, super moder & large comfy rooms. Breakfast had tons of options. the hotel staff was amazing. everything was always very clean! my kids loved the pool area. We actually we're supposed to stay at the hotel behind them at the Super 8 and immediately checked out and so glad we ended up staying a couple nights at the Best Western it was our favorite Hotel on a week stay in 4 different states!
The beds were comfortable. The staff was really helpful like they actually cared about you. And it was quiet throughout the night. There is a small pool for kids and my son loved playing around in the water. The breakfast the next morning was much better than you usually get at a hotel of this type so I was pleasantly surprised. We were thinking that if it was the usual type of continental breakfast that we would just go find somewhere else to eat but we were surprised with all of the options.
We picked the hotel based on the many positive reviews and the attached indoor pool/kiddie water park. We are very happy that we did. It was a pleasant stay. Our daughter practically lived at the pool while we were there and the staff was amazing. We will be staying here again on our next trip to Omaha.
This was our second stay at this hotel, the first stay 2 years ago must have been better. We arrived just before 3 and there was no one around the check in desk, no bell or anything. I understand that check in is at 3, however it was 5 minutes before. When the gal did arrive, she was very friendly, however, I found it odd that she was in a tshirt and not a Best Western one even. We got to our room and all the doors stuck, everytime my daughter went to the bathroom we had to open the door for her, because she couldn't pull it back open herself. The a/c was questionable on whether it worked completely. It was very warm when we got in our room and didn't really cool down even though it was set at 65 (we keep our house at 76, so we should've froze). The kids liked the pool, however the very over chlorinated, murky, and stuff floating around in the water was just gross to me. The beds were comfortable and the room was pretty clean. Although the greeting staff was friendly, the breakfast staff was not. The front desk lady very rudely cut in front of everyone in line to get her breakfast and the lady serving the breakfast was very rude to my husband when he went to make a waffle. I don't think we will be staying here again.
The room was extremely clean and spacious. You are only a couple of miles from great shopping and restaurants. The staff are really helpful and try to please you in anyway they can. They have a wide selection of things for the free breakfast. Will stay there again.
I can not even begin to say enough great things about this hotel! The room and beds are fantastic! The water park is lots of fun and super clean. Complementary snacks in the room. Breakfast was awesome!!! If you are staying in Omaha, STAY HERE!!!
We were traveling cross country with dogs and never thought of where to stay until we knew about when and where we would quit driving. Three hours before check in I called to see if we could get a room for three and our dogs. They not only came through for us but made us feel welcome. We and the Hounds Thank You.
The pool at this hotel is great for young children. My grandson loved the slides and the smaller one he could use by himself. He's 2 1/2. The rooms were nice and clean. We weren't far from restaurants or shopping.
The staff at the front desk when we checked in and when we checked out were sooooo friendly! It was a nice change! They had an awesome FREE happy hour with beer and wine. Plus cheese, crackers, salami and other stuff. The only bad part was the pool. The water was warm, murky and gross. We would stay here again but wouldn't swim.
The room was comfortable, everything worked, bed was very soft and comfortable. Some of the towels in the room were dirty. The indoor pool was packed with people, so I steered clear of it. The hotel smelled bad, I am assuming from people tracking water in from the pool.
great location close to the interstate and the staff are outstanding, they go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. great shopping close by and great eating also close easy to get to Sams, Cabelas, and other family spots
Our room was perfect. We go there because it is a very clean hotel and they allow our 4 legged children to travel with us. They gave them treats! There were several other dogs there as well. Great location!
We just finished our second stay at the Best Western Plus Kelly Inn. We choose this motel because of the Kids pool! It's more fun for my children (2 and 4) to have slides and be able to touch vs just a big pool to float around in or jump off the side. With that being said, EVERYONE is there for the kid pool. If you go on a busy weekend, we happened to be there over memorial weekend, the pool is very crowded. (This was also the opening weekend of the African Safari Exhibit at the ZOO--yikes!) We had to cut our swimming time short on 2 occasions this trip because the pool got over crowded and one night, dangerously rowdy with some bigger kids in the pool. Because of the fun toys in the water, space is significantly limited if there are a ton of people trying to enjoy the pool. (Not sure why they require wrist bands, I didn't see many other people wearing them) The rooms were nice, LOVE the dark curtains to pull shut to keep my little ones in bed a tad longer. This trip we were happy to see that the Perkins restaurant had closed down so the Hotel offered Free breakfast! That was a HUGE HUGE HUGE plus for us! They had a nice range of food to offer covering the usual items you see at a free breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I asked for assistance on 3 occasions and they were very helpful.
We had over 18 people in our party and not 1 complaint about this hotel. Was surprised that the pool only went to 3 ft, but it was still fun for everyone and safer for the smaller children...ALL the kids loved this pool. Breakfast was great with plenty of seating and choices. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Thanks Kerri for getting us in at a great rate. This was the second time back. A well needed worry free weekend. Lots of TLC has been put into this hotel. A modern yet homey feeling. Felt welcomed from the staff from the start with making the reservation all the way through to check out!! Will be back again!
Stayed here because of the activity pool for my grandkids (7, 6, 4, & 2) but the rooms and breakfast were a nice surprise. The hotel has evidently been updated recently with flooring, paint & furnishings. Rooms were large, beds comfortable and bathrooms clean. The breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel with bacon, 2 kinds of eggs, waffles, potatoes and the regular fare of toast, muffins, oatmeal & bagels. The pool was perfect until a high school track team decided they could use the slides too. With a noon checkout the kids went in the morning & had a splendid time. The front desk was extremely helpful - offering both dinner suggestions and as we had a hit & run at the zoo, calling us when the police arrived to make a report. If traveling to Omaha, be sure and put this hotel on your radar.
This hotel is top of the bill. The rooms have been decorated by someone with a good sense of style. The lobby is interesting and colorful and so are the hallways. It's a pity that the restaurant that is connected to the hotel building was empty/abandoned (or in the first fase of remodeling/rebranding). But... we would come here again!
We took our Adult daughters and three grandchildren to Omaha for a little get away. Spent two nights at this motel the kids loved the pool couldn't get enough and the hot breakfast was an added bonus. Rooms looked to be newly remodeled with Microwaves and Mini Refrigerators in each room will definitely visit again.
We had an awesome experience with our family at this hotel. We spent the day at the zoo, only 10 minutes away and then came here and the rooms were so large and comfortable and the kids had a wonderful time in the pool. The pool is just perfect for small children, 8 inches to 3 foot deep. There were rafts, slides and waterfall that was so much fun and whirlpool for us adults. They arranged for us to have 4 rooms all together across the hall from one another so the kids could go back a forth. The staff was great and so helpful and the beds were "aah" after a long day. We had a great time and when we come back to Omaha we will never stay anywhere else. Thumbs up from our entire family. Thank you for making our family weekend a success.
Very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay. The pool was a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed the water slide and toys in the pool. We would certainly return to this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
It had what I wanted, a friendly staff and a clean room. They also offer a cocktail hour and a free breakfast, which I did not take advantage of. The room had good lighting and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed a good night's sleep.
We stayed at this hotel over the weekend. We came to go to the zoo. he hotel was one of the best i have ever stayed in. Super clean!! Super friendly staff, all very helpful!! 2 in paticular that i had a great time talking with were Raynee and James. Both of them were so nice and friendly and made my stay even better. Thank you. The pool was really nice for the kids and the breakfast was fantastic. They even serve BACON!!! The aminetlies near by were great too. They have a fun place across the road for kids with arcade and paint ball and lazer stuff and then right down the road is a trampoline palce too! Definelty will be coming back on our next stay!!!
The staff were wonderful despite the very busy wedding weekend. We had a dog with us and she got a treat bag as we registered. The room was clean, good size and bed comfortable. The location is not far from the interstate and the price was good with AARP discount. The hot breakfast was also fresh and the staff there were very pleasant and cheerful. The only negative is that their is a lot of water softener in the water which makes a shower rinse interesting for those of us who aren't use to it. Otherwise, great stay!
Extremely friendly staff and great hotel for the kids... Especially the pool. Conveniently located to near by Family Fun Center and shopping area. Hot breakfast is above average for sure and is a great addition.
Great place to stay. Pool for kids is excellent but not so good for adults without kids. Will plan a trip and bring the grand kids. Easy access from the interstate. Great front desk staff, both days and nights.
The hotel was very clean, quite and had been updated. The decor was very tastefully done in black and tans. The bed was extremely comfortable. The water pressure and temperature was perfect. The staff was helpful. When in the area would stay again for sure.
We booked our room off Booking.com and sometimes that results in a less than ideal room: we got a room right off the patio near the pool and elevators which was VERY noisy. If it was just my husband and we would have dealt with it but my daughter is a crappy sleeper even in the best circumstances. We asked to move rooms the following day and despite that being a hassle for them on a nearly completely full night they accomodated our request and even offered to hold our luggage in the check area until the new room was clean. I SOOO appreciated the effort to help us get a good night's sleep on our birthday trip for my daughter. I think she probably loved their pool more than the Zoo which is what we came up here for. Friendly staff and nice hot breakfast. Great for families. We would come back.
We were in a King room with a pull-out sofa bed. The room was newly updated and very clean. It was perfect for our family of 5. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well maintained. The kids enjoyed the pool. The exterior pool area needed some work though. Looked like some water damage in the ceiling and men's bathroom. Hopefully that will be something they will be fixing next. The price was decent as well. Would stay there again when we visit Omaha.
We stayed here one night; 2 adults, 1 child. The beds were nice and comfy. There was a small fridge in the room, along with a tv. The pool was warm, the child had a lot of fun in the pool area. There was a slide and everything. The breakfast was ok. The hotel staff was nice and super helpful. Would recommend this to people looking for a place to stay in Omaha.
We made a short trip for the zoo and my kids practically lived at that pool for 3 days. Their ages are 6 & 7 and had a blast for hours each day. Both the pool area and our room was very clean. The breakfast spread is great. If we get to go back we will definitely stay again!
Very impressive!! Friendly staff! Emily is the best! Pool is awesome for kids. I will always stay here. The rooms are amazing, breakfast is awesome and good. Decor is very beautiful. My daughter's heat in her room was stuck on, they offered her a choice of two rooms to choose from, even discounted my room as well. When I entered or left the hotel, I was greeted.
Nice, clean place to stay with little kids. Pool area is warm with very warm water. Love that the pool starts at 8 inches deep with 3 foot depth max. If you have adventurous big kids, might not be the place to stay. Rooms are clean, and big enough for a family to stay reasonably comfortably. Staff are very friendly and you can tell they are respected by the management. Asked for extra pillows and blankets and unlike other hotels, it was no problem at all, and the staff happily provided us with what we needed. Breakfast was also very good.
The hotel was great for conveyance to Interstate Travel. It was about 15 minutes from the Zoo and at a great price. The hotel has an evening happy hour in the lobby and a great breakfast. Great swimming pool for kids and is dog friendly !
Stayed here for a weekend with the family. The kids loved the pool. It was crowded at times, but the kids didn't seem to mind. It could use a little maintenance, but not going to gripe over a free swimming pool with slides and floating things for kids. Room was comfortable, but HVAC didn't seem to be working. Breakfast was decent for an included breakfast. Could use a larger space for this, but again, nothing that ruined the trip.
The price is right! The pool is the best part! It'll be even better when the restaurant is opened back up. We would recommend to anyone headed to Omaha for a zoo trip. The hot breakfast was just ok. It was Spring Break, so that might be part of it. It's crammed into a hotel room sized room and entire hotel goes in and out of it. There needs to be another waffle maker to service that many people. The food was included in a reasonable price, so I'd still go back. Rooms were clean and nice, although bed could be replaced. I wouldn't pick another room next to lobby, but otherwise the room was fine. There were 6 of us in 2 rooms and it worked well. Several places to shop and eat nearby. Starbucks is 2 min away, so that is a plus. :)
bathroom was not clean, even if we had the heater the bathroom was cold, and blew cold air, breakfast areas way too small for amount of rooms hotel has, tables and chairs way too old, cheap. If But the pool area is great for kids, just I wish they had a bigger pool for adults to use as well...
The room was fantastic along with the hotel staff. The breakfast was good ,need another waffle maker. The pool was fine but there is a need for an exhaust system because it was hot and steamy all the time in there.
We were traveling for a weekend of leisure and I wanted a hotel that offered a fun children's pool without the hefty price tag of an indoor water park . My boys are 6 and they absolutely loved this pool . The deepest area is 3ft so it was great to sit back and watch them play and enjoy without having to hover . The slide was great , and there are lily pads and a waterfall . The hottub was close by for parents to relax in :) When we checked in I was informed they had over booked double queen bed rooms , however they offered us a free upgrade to a king plus pull out sofa room . The staff was extremely friendly and the cleaning staff was working very hard to get all the rooms ready for check ins . It was a very nice remodeled room with a fridge and microwave . The free breakfast was good , but the room to eat in was very small --- get there early ! Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we will be back!!
Our family enjoyed staying here. The room was very clean and appeared to have been recently remodeling. Everything in the room worked. The hot breakfast was good -- scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, muffins, variety of cereals, coffee, juice, milk, tea. We were traveling with children and there was a good variety for everyone. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was a little underwhelming -- crowded (not sure all the swimmers were actually guests of the hotel), and the water was really hazy from all of the chlorine. Would stay here again without the expectation of using the pool.
I had a room booked for our kid's vacation at the Holiday Inn downtown but they called me the night before to tell me the pool would be closed for cleaning. I heard about this place from other MOPS moms and was able to get a room on short notice. The lobby was well decorated and the hallways had train photos in black and white which suited my train obsessed son's taste. One of the staff was slow at greeting us while the other guest arrived. We had to wait for the more eager receptionist to check us in but not a big deal, as she was super friendly and got the room to us quickly. The room was nice. Quiet too, never heard another guest from our room even though the place is full of kids. The pool was very kid friendly. My four sprouted gills they spent so much time in it. They were doing some construction of the cement, near the bathroom area and had to repair a broken glass between the fitness center and pool. I have no way of knowing if those were done recently and attended to promptly. The breakfast room was crowded but it was a good breakfast. Home made waffles and good healthy options, hot eggs and bacon. More than I expected. The place had fresh fruit for grabbing and going to, through out the day. After check out the staff called me to inform me the cleaning crew found my son's boots in the room. I arrived within minutes and they had them bagged and waiting at the front desk for a quick pick up. This was a wonderful hotel, with overall great staff, clean rooms and lots of perks. Highly recommend it (and it was cheaper than Holiday Inn with no parking fees).
The staff at the front desk was very friendly and the breakfast was much better than average. I did appreciate the limited "happy hour" and I'm sure it will be better when their newly remodeled lounge is completed - George
Thought my kids would like the pool area, it was cute and they enjoyed it but you could hardly breathe or open your eyes one day because of the chlorine haze and the next day the added water to the pool and it was like a polar plunge. There were SO MANY people it was ridiculous. Rooms were nice. Trying to get breakfast was a complete joke. I'm not sure if it was just completely booked or what but it was not that relaxing of a get away while we were there.
Very nice hotel with clean rooms, pool room wasn't kept was nice as the rest of the hotel but still a very good hotel for the price when traveling with younger kids. Breakfast was good but the room was very tiny and getting around it, especially with kids, was a task. No high chairs either for the breakfast room. Very nice staff.
Our 6 grandchildren were able to stay with us over night. The pool was the perfect size for them. Will make this our annual grandkids destination. The location was ideal for everyone. Highly recommend this motel to others.
My five-year-old son and I stayed here for two nights in July 2015 over the 4th of July weekend. I wasn't familiar with Omaha but I chose the hotel due to price and the indoor pool water features that I knew my son would love. We weren't disappointed! We loved the pool, the hotel was clean, the connected Perkins restaurant was nice, and the staff was wonderful! We wanted to see fireworks but I wasn't sure where best to go so a staff member gave us great directions to where we could see fireworks. The best part was our view to the south when we arrived back to our hotel because the entire sky was lit up with fireworks well into the night but the sound wasn't disturbing at all even with the windows slightly open. We would definitely stay here again!
We decided to go somewhere close to home for a short spring break trip. This hotel was perfect for our 2 small children to swim and have fun! It was lots of fun for them and the rooms newly remodeled.
This hotel is close to the zoo, and has a wonderful indoor pool for the kids to play in. They also have a Perkins restaurant attached and you get a free breakfast with your booking. My grandkids love going there. And getting to swim after a day at the zoo a bonus. Even if its winter..
Staff exceptionally friendly. Breakfast fresh, hot and good. Accommodations clean and appropriate. Welcoming to pets - with goodie bags for the dogs including treats and waste pick up bags. Fabulous touch. Very fair price.
Very nice well appoined rooms. Rooms are spacious and well designed with good work station. Sufficient amenities. Friendly, efficient, helpful staff. Very good breakfast with variety of options. Fun and spacious pool area. Great for children.
We stayed here to celebrate 3 year old grandsons birthday and it was the perfect stay for this event. We were in the area 2 weeks earlier and had already reserved our stay. We stopped at the hotel to check it out to make sure it would fill our needs. Front staff was great then, letting us check out the hotel, rooms and pool area. One week prior to our arrival we called ahead to see if we could get an early arrival, about 1:00. Of course that could not be guaranteed but worthwhile to ask. We arrived around 1:30 or so. Perhaps the nicest surprise was that the front desk person was the one we had talked to two weeks earlier and she remembered us! The hotel had been full the night before but she checked rooms and found one ready for us. That was great. We had a business king room which I think is a bit larger than kings. Tastefully decorated, darker furniture but plenty of light, large flat screen TV with more than enough channels. Bath area is separate from the living area (sink not in entrance hallway) and the bath/toilet is separate from the sink. Plenty of room in the bathroom also. There is no "closet" but a wall shelf and hanging area that will suffice. Plenty of room to stretch out, larger windows (cannot open) and an upholstered chair. We did not hear much hallway or room noise at all. At first I thought the bed was a bit soft but both of us apparently slept reasonably well so it must have been comfortable enough. The pool area is really geared to kids. There is a small slide and large slide, a waterfall umbrella in the center and several rafts and "lilys" anchored near the center. There is no zero entry but depth ranges from only 8" to 3'. We had a 3 year old and 5 year old and it was perfect. They make an effort to keep the water warm so there is a lot of humidity in the winter months. Because we were able to get in early we were in the pool from about 2:00 until 3:30. You could see that the pool was going to fill up later in the afternoon. It worked out well as guys and kids handled the pool, ladies handled the wine and played cards in the room. There were a couple of minor things that were not quite right. We were on the 5th floor. For some reason there was an unusual odor in the hallway and elevator when we arrived. Perhaps garlic, maybe a large pizza delivery. It was just unusually strong but didn't seem as bad the following morning. Secondly, the public area near the pool and the lobby area seemed quite cool. I realize it was a cold February day but they just seemed on the cold side. A Perkins restaurant had been attached but closed and is being remodeled for a breakfast area I think. So at the moment breakfast is kind of a crowed small area. Staff, Room and Pool make this a good stop for a family adventure. We feel the room rate was reasonable for the size of the room and the pool usage. We would return.
The good--dogs stay free on floors 1, 2, 5 and 7 I believe. Huge rooms, very well insulated. Hardly heard the people in the hallways for the most part. manager's reception 4 days a week. Free hot breakfast 7 days a week. Breakfast was passable, very well kept. Standard fare for this type of hotel. Reconstituted eggs, home fries, turkey sausage? very salty bacon and assorted dry cereal, yogurt, pastries and of course waffles. The pool is a little tired, but oriented towards families/kids. Thus, if you stay on the weekends, it gets a little noisy. Lot noisy actual. But that's because people quit parenting once they hit the door of the hotel I have seen. Just let the kids run wild whereever. Of course, mom and dad might notice a little more if they weren't out in the hallways drinking and B.S.ing. I took the dogs to the dog park, were all muddy. Asked the front desk person for an extra towel and got about 8. So, the dogs go baths also. For the money and being able to have my dogs there for no charge, it's a 5 star. Take away one for the weekend crazyness and I'd still rank it a 3.5-4
We attended a family get-together in Omaha and made reservations directly with the hotel about a week in advance. The process was very easy and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Because of the circumstances of the event, we arrived a couple of hours before check in time. Again, Emily at the front desk was very accommodating and got us checked in very quickly. Our rooms, as always, were very clean and recently remodeled. We enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be back..
Located just off I80, the hotel is easy to get to. The room I stayed i has been updated, but not renovated. The updates are tastefully done. The front desk staff had a "friend" hanging around in the lobby. The uncomfortable mattress is alleged to be new. I can hear the neighbors talking through the wall. There are nicer places to stay for about the same money in town. The continental breakfast could have been better. I would probably not stay here again. I did not try out the pool area, it might make the visit much more enjoyable for someone else traveling with children.
EMILY at the front counter ROCKS!! We had so much fun for our nieces bday part we are having my Grandson's party there tomorrow!! The place was clean, the pool is PERFECT for little ones and everything was clean. We loved it!!
This is one of the best in Omaha close to interstate and shopping and the staff is great. I have stayed in alot of motels and hotels and they just don't get any better than this. In the very near future they will have a restraunt and sports bar connected to it can't wait to see this Iam sure it will be as great as the hotel.
This hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything was great! My husband and I stayed in a King size bed with a Jacuzzi in the room. It was amazing! Super relaxing after 4 long days of driving and traveling. The bed was very comfortable!
Thiis is our home away from home. Our grandchildren come and swim while we are here. The staff is very personable and willing to take care of your needs. The swimming area is great for smaller children. They have such a good time playing in the pool which has slides and floating rafts.
The staff in this hotel are extremely accommodating. Lobby and rooms have been recently updated. Restaurant is being added. Beds are probably more comfortable than mine at home. I'll definitely stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will definitely stay here again my next time in Omaha. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Omaha. Close to I-80 and easy to get any place in town within minutes.
I traveled with my elderly mother and she required a handicapped accessible room which Best Western provides. It was very nice and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was new years eve and everything was very nice including the hot breakfast. Would recommend to others and would stay there again.
The lobby had some renovation/repairs being done and had a bit of an off smell, so was not expecting a great stay. The clerk was friendly and gave us a bag with bottled water and a snack. We went to our room and opened the door. It turned out to be a beautiful room - felt like we had scored. The decor was modern, peaceful and harmonious. We had a room with a whirlpool-worked great The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. We had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good and well maintained. The only areas for improvement are the bathroom door stuck and a couple of places needed a bit more housekeeping attention such as bathroom mirror. This will be our first choice when we travel to Omaha next.
We had a sudden trip that was long and cold and late at night - Best Western was convenient, clean and comfortable and took pets with no fee! The location is very convenient - right off the highway and easy to access with gas stations nearby. The exterior looks nice and I believe this is a newer hotel, it also has a restaurant onsite (we did not eat at it this time). Both the check in and out clerks were friendly and efficient. Has fitness room, pool and breakfast - all looked nice and clean but we did not have time to use any of the amenities. Our room was very clean and large. It was decorated nicely (it seemed newly renovated?) and the beds were super comfy, not too hard and not too soft. The temperature was perfect which was a nice touch arriving late. Has in room coffee that was standard as well as a microwave and mini fridge which was really convenient! Overall Best Westerns have been on a downslide so we typically avoid them but this one took pets and was convenient to the interstate so we gambled and it really paid off! This hotel was the level of a 4 star hotel in my opinion, I can't stress enough how comfortable and nice the room was. We will definitely be returning to this hotel!
It was a great place to stay and the staff was awesome the indoor pool was killer they also have breakfast in the morning as well stayed 5 days well worth it. Not much to do around the area but Iowa is only 15 min down the road to the casinos to do a lil gambling
I stayed after arriving in Omaha after a long flight from Austin, TX via DFW and Houston. The check in process was expedient, the room spectacular. I had a recently renovated Executive King on the 6th floor. It was spacious with a nice sectional sofa, ample desk for work, and fridge/micro. Room was tastefully furnished and very clean. Large flat screen with many channel choices. Wireless internet was blazing fast and no connectivity issues. Bed was super comfy and new like the rest of the furnishings. Breakfast in the morning was in a large former restaurant and the booths were a nice compliment to the nice variety of pastries, waffles, scrambled eggs , bacon, fried potatoes and yogurt and juices. Breakfast staff very friendly as was the rest of the staff I encountered. Overall a much needed oasis after a long miserable flight.
our stay was great and the hospitality was great, we would stay at a Best Western again, even the adults enjoyed the swimming pool which was 18 inches to 3 feet,, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was very good
Conveniently located to interstate & shopping. Employees are great. Rooms a tad over-priced. Only criticism is beds too high for handicapped mother I was traveling with. Again, the employees are great and the rooms are clean.
This hotel was great. We planned a birthday party in one of the banquet rooms and had rooms for the night. From the time we visited the hotel to the check out everything was perfect. The staff, the room, and the awesome pool were absolutely wonderful. Not one complaint!
Our stay was brief and very pleasant. The receptionist was very delightful. Breakfast was delicious. Was not there long enough to enjoy the swimming pool. Enjoyed the in room coffee and all other amenities. Hope to be able to spend more time here next time.
This was a great place to stay. The kids loved the pool. Pool is very kid friendly. Staff was very friendly and were more than happy to help with anything we needed. Rooms were very clean. Overall it was a great stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you
Don't bother with this hotel. Old, in need of repair, and apparently do not utilize a pest service. The office staff spend most of their time outside smoking, so if you need any type of service you must wait for them to return to their work area. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again if it were free.
This hotel is very organized, rooms are clean, and breakfast is great. Amenities of internet, pool, fitness room, and a full breakfast add to the convenience of this location. Bathroom supplies were available and kept restocked. Refrigerator and microwave were nice to have in the room.
I stay at this hotel every month and they continually make me feel comfortable and welcome! I was even welcomed "home" when I came to stay for this month! Very nice amenities and wonderful staff! Definitely a great place to stay for business or pleasure!
Excellent stopover with wonderful hospitality; great service and food. I highly recommend it if you require a stopover. Convenient location with easy access. Variety of restaurants nearby is nice for a tasteful choice.
I love coming here! It's like visiting family. I always stay here, beds are comfy, water is soft, room is quiet for sleeping... people who work here are friendly and accommodating and now they have a wonderful breakfast buffet, not just donuts and coffee. Try it, You'll come back!
Upon arrival they had our reservation and room ready for us. Room was very clean and in order. Bed was very comfortable. Heater/AC would kick in and was very noisy in turn did not sleep very well. Internet was not good and had to call tech support to get our laptops and phones to connect and if we were of for a few minutes it would stop again. We gave up and watched TV.
I stayed here years ago and it was a dump. When I booked here, I didn't realize it was the same hotel. But as I entered, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is much better. There is still a few areas for improvement but very happy with my stay. The fitness center and breakfast was good.
After a long day of driving I settled into this hotel for a comfortable evening. Amenities, the staff and room were all excellent. The only down side was the kitchen chose to close 1 hour early and I was unable to get any food after a long day of driving.
Best Western has always been on the top of my list. They were excellent in the service to me and that I can appreciate. The room was large with a nice view, clean baths and sheets and pillowcases. Plush comfortable beds and soft towels. The breakfast was amazing nice selection of items. Very friendly staff to assist you. I would definitely love to come back and stay again. There are eating places around for your convenience. So safe travels to all. Where's Wooster?
I would stay at this hotel again. It fit the need with three children. They loved the swimming pool. It is 3 ft. in depth so I didn't have to be too watchful over the older two. It's a great pool designed for children. The pool is showing wear & tear though. Breakfast was awesome! Items that felt like they were home cooked. A variety of items for my picky eater. We were stuffed when through. The bed was actually comfy too. Maybe the best, I've slept on in hotels. Just don't expect help from the front desk- they are either busy on their phones or busy talking to each other.
I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Plus in Omaha on 108th & L. The Staff was helpful and kind. I got the hot tub room. It was immaculate. Price was fair. I enjoyed the breakfast also. I look forward on coming to this Best Western Plus again in the future.
This was our 3rd stay at the Kelly Inn Omaha and, like always, it was a great experience. Everything is clean, comfortable, and modern and the staff is very, very friendly and efficient. One thing that was different on this visit was the upgraded continental breakfast - it was very good! Lots of different choices and my children and I all really enjoyed it. Also, the pool is perfect for small/younger children. My six year old is not a very strong swimmer, but because the deepest part of the pool is only 3ft, he felt he had free reign and had a blast swimming and sliding around in the pool. This is our go-to place when visiting Omaha.
Roz, the cook for the free breakfast buffet, was very friendly and open for all and any suggestions. Enjoyed egg scramble with bacon, better than just plain scrambled eggs offered in other buffets. Although I was too tired to enjoy the pool, it looked like a lot of fun for children. Front desk very helpful in suggestions for places to eat. As all the Best Western beds that I have slept in, very comfortable.
We really enjoyed the pool for the kids, there are 2 waterslides, one which lands in 3 ft water so I only had to catch my youngest. Hot tub is right there, so you can sit and watch your kids. The hotel was clean, nicely updated. Breakfast was good (waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, etc). I would appreciate stronger coffee, that's just me though. Our window faced L street, so there was some road noise but it tapered off. Overall wonderful stay for a family getaway. Front desk was very friendly and helpful.
It's been over a year since I last stayed at this motel and it gets better with age. It is clean! Accommodating to families in every way. Easy in/out property location. Pool is just fantastic for kids. And warm: Nice to dip into a heated pool that is actually "heated" for once. Bed, bedding and pillows were very comfortable. Great sleep, quiet room. Mattress was a serta perfect sleeper that looked brand new---yes, I pulled back the sheets and looked because of paranoia. Room was spacious. Had a king and it included desk & office chair, sitting chair and lots of room in the middle. The new free breakfast was a nice surprise and it was great---lots of choices hot & cold, fresh and best coffee around. (good enough I was intending to ask brand, but forgot) Breakfast attendant--Angie (I think)--very knowledgeable about the area and friendly. As a motel manager myself I bothered her with many questions. She was well informed about the property, surrounding area and answered them all with a smile--while never taking her eye off her work. I would have loved to of packed her in my suitcase and brought her back to my motel to work. Overall GREAT stay and they have earned my business loyalty for good.
There is not a better hotel in Omaha, especially for families traveling with kids. We have stayed here often for a short get-a-way with our two grandchildren. Pool with slides is perfect for them. Rooms are extra special, always clean. The hotel staff goes out of their way to make sure the stay is perfect. The free hot breakfast in the morning is one of the best we have ever tried. On this latest trip my wife left her cell phone on the counter by the TV. We received a call that it was found before we were two blocks away. Won't stay anywhere else but Best Western anywhere we travel!
Front office staff is very friendly and accommodating. In room décor and property overall are nicely updated. The only reason I give this hotel an average ranking is due to Housekeeping. Very disappointed with cleanliness and representation in the room. Did not have the opportunity to discuss with hotel however as we were in and out quickly due to what I was in town for.
After long day of driving stopping here was a good choice. Staff helpful and polite. Asked for best pizza and was given a menu with coupons. Pizza was delivered to room and was great! Room was clean and Bed was comfy! This was the third Best Western that weekend we stayed in and had the most comfortable Bed.
We stayed there on 22nd Sept 2015.Stay was very good.Liked the way staff welcomed, specially for our dog.I forgot my expensive shawl (Indian name for a throw)next day we called to request to ask the cleaning staff. We were informed nothing was in the room.To me they never tried.I would have given 5 stars.
We had a great experience at this hotel. Our only complaints were that we purchased the Papio Fun Park Package, and the park left much to be desired, that really isn't on the hotel, though. My husband wasn't thrilled with the breakfast selection, but I enjoyed it very much. We were traveling with our 3 kids under 9 years old, so the pool was excellent for or non-swimmers, and they really had fun except Saturday night/Sunday morning when it seemed to be crowded by rude guests...again that isn't really on the hotel, though.
